I did not see this movie when it came out. Did you see it in the theater? No. No. I sat on a rental, a blockbuster. And they had not seen it again until this past Friday night. Listen, I have to make a confession. Go. I got pretty drunk watching this movie.

Hell yeah. I don't remember a lot about it. And I have not looked at my notes since. So... I was drinking Chardonnay out of a plank glass because I'm a classy bitch like that. I've never seen Congo. Pretty bad. I kind of like the idea of doing Congo. The monkey can talk through like a speaker that picks up her sign language.

That's my takeaway from Mesk. There you go. Oh, and Sam Elliott looked amazing. So, and we're setting up all the relationships. So Eric Stoltz and Jalo are former maybe lovers, they're still lovers? They have a very familiar relationship and I find it inconceivable. The Jalo would go for this buck and bows. I mean almost as inconceivable as Kariwer and Owen Wilson. Owen Wilson wearing a good day mate t-shirt.

And some pukahels I think? A lot of pukahels. I think I'm, oh, I remember writing a bunch of notes about his puka shells. Carrewer also does not wear a full shirt for the entire film. No, it's hot. It is hot in the Amazon. How about, um, so the first night we're out with them on the boat, we're all there. Sure, we're with them whether we like it or not. John Void's telling him about anaconda is the only thing he talks about.

And we see the anaconda attack a panther? Oh yeah! And the panther puppet, when it gets grabbed by the snake puppet, is my favorite thing in this movie. You like that a lot. Because it looks like the panther for up is going, what? It is shocked. It is shocked. Holy smokes! Yeah. You think you would have heard that 40-foot snake coming, being a predator itself. You know what I mean? It was probably loud with all the mechanics that were making it move around.

Snakes faces don't look like that, do they? They can't scream either. It looked like a little teddy bear or something. Like its eyes were too close to the front. I don't know what it was, but I don't think that's it. Apparently there's only one breed of snake that can scream, which is the pine snake? Imagine a snake screaming. It has a vocal cord and can scream. No, thank you.

King Cobra's can grunt. Ew. Yeah. That's horrifying. I hate a snake. Yeah. Luckily, there aren't really any snakes in this movie. It's just like a, it's like an animatronic garden house. There's like two piles of snakes somewhere in the movie.

Yeah, sure, that's true. I forgot there is a scene of snakes like falling from the sky for no reason. Because he blows up the snake bridge or whatever the fucks. The snake bridge, well you're the snake hunter. Why would he get a million dollars? Because it's a live 40-foot python. Okay, he's trying to catch it alive. Yeah that's what he brings, he eventually brings Owen Wilson on board to help him. Owen Wilson turns so fast. He turns on his friends, he turns on the party, he turns on Kari-Wur. From the two movies we've done with those Owen Wilson in him, this and the haunting. the boat and like picks up Gary and swallows him. Is that when you see him in like the face? When he swims away if you see the whole body inside the snake? Fine. I don't think they're that thin. Everyone's like, oh my god, and then they're just gone. It's fine. So then there's the scene where their Mateo gets it? Because the John Voight and Ice Cube and Mateo are searching the boat and Mateo dies then.
