Listen now on Audible. Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of when reality hits.
It's your girl, Brittany Cartwright.
I hope everybody's having a great Friday and I hope everyone had a great week and has a
great weekend. I can't believe it's already July. This is crazy. Time is flying. Summer is officially
here and I just feel like everything is happening so freaking fast. I feel like the older that
I get, the faster time is flying and it needs to slow down because I'm already 36 and I'm like,
how did I get here? How am I already 36 years old? Oh my goodness. Anywho, as you guys know,
I just got back from Kentucky and Nashville on the 4th of July. We had a great time while
we were in Kentucky. I love being around my family. And as soon as I got back on the fifth, one of my best
friends, Maryann from back home in Kentucky, she came to visit me. Maryann has been, you've
seen her around over the past couple of years, like on Jackson Brady Tate Kentucky, on Vander
Pump Rules here and there. She was in my wedding. She was one of my bridesmaids. I've been around
her for years and years and years.
They came up to visit me on the 5th and it was her daughter Mia's 13th birthday. So happy
birthday Mia. So we got to celebrate it while they were here. And that was so special because
I just love hosting and having my friends here and they help like get my mind off of
things and help me relax with all the stressfulness that's going on with the show and everything else in my life. So it's always amazing
to have such great friends around and such support around. And I just love that Mia was turning 13.
She's a teenager now. And the fact that I was there when her mom found out she was pregnant
and I saw her right after she was born and she's already 13. Time
definitely flies. I've actually been around a lot of my friends whenever they found out they were
pregnant. I don't know if that is I'm a good luck token or if it's scary. I'm not sure. I've been
with five or six different people whenever they found out they were pregnant. And I don't know,
I think it's good luck because they're
all amazing. But Marianne was here. She brought her daughter, 13 year old, her daughter's
friend and her three month old baby Malachi. So I got to get all the baby snuggles while
they were here. He's got the chunkiest cheeks and I swear, it gives me baby fever whenever
I'm around. I just love kids. I don't think that I like want a baby right now or anything, but Kali, it's hard after you've already had a kid and you're
around the cutest little babies. Every time I'm around baby Kaya too, I'm like, oh my
gosh, I miss this phase. You forget how fast everything happens. Cruz is four now. So we
were going back and little Malachi is here and I'm forgetting like all the signs, everything like that. I know it would come back to me,
but it's just so crazy like how much you forget how little they are and all the little things
you have to do, how much they sleep, how much they want to eat. I mean, goodness gracious.
But I loved every second of it. It is the sweetest thing ever. And I swear it's giving me baby fever really bad. I got to find me a man first because your girl is single
as a pringle. Single as a pringle. Dating after being separated and going through a
divorce is so weird. It's not the easiest thing ever. I posted this meme on my account on my Instagram
story yesterday and it was like, in my marriage, I ignored 8,888 different red flags. But in
my dating life after divorce, I don't like the emoji he sends. It's just like you notice
so many little things because the red flags and stuff I have to watch out for. I don't like the emoji he sends. It's just like, you notice so many little things because the red flags and stuff I have to watch out for. I don't want to be stuck in another situation
like I was and just ignore, ignore, ignore because I try to always see the best in people
and you always think somebody's going to change. So I'm trying to do things differently and
I'm definitely taking my time going very slow and still single, still trying to figure it out.
Working on myself is a priority. Just me and Cruz, being with him every single day, he is the love
of my life. So just trying to get things right for myself and hopefully my divorce will be final soon
and it'll feel like a whole different chapter in my life is going to open up. But we'll see.
feel like a whole different chapter in my life is going to open up. But we'll see. Dating in LA, man, it's crazy. You never know what it's going to be like if somebody, you have
to worry if somebody really likes you, if they're going to try to use you, if they're
going to, there's just so many different things because there are great people in LA, of course,
but a lot of people here are trying to get on a show or
get followers or do this or do that. So just taking it slow and really just trying to focus
on myself at the moment. But while all my friends were here, we went to City Walk and
we went to Six Flags. I've never been to Six Flags before and it's only 30 minutes from
my house. And It was so dead.
We didn't have to wait in any line. So we got on all these roller coasters. Let me tell
you, my body, I wasn't getting sick, but I could just tell that if I rode a bunch more
roller coasters, I was not going to be okay. Everything is changing as you get older because I have always loved roller coasters.
I absolutely hate heights. So if you saw all my stories while we were posting about being
in Hawaii and stuff, there was a lot of people that had videos of me clinging to the wall
because my biggest fear is balconies, especially clear balconies that is all glass. And whenever you look over,
I don't know, you just get that sick feeling. I hate that feeling so bad. So I'm clinging
to the wall and I won't even look the other direction. It's just, I don't know, you just
think you're going to fall even though you know you're not going to. And it terrifies
me. I don't even let crews hold onto a balcony, go near a balcony. I don't even like looking
down windows. So heights is just not my thing. I used to be good at heights. I can tell you
a 4th of July story. Since we just had 4th of July, I was at the lake with my friend
Lindy. And this was years and years and years ago. And we had on life jackets, thank goodness.
But we jumped off like a 30-foot cliff. Everybody was jumping off. People were doing front flips,
diving, like just doing all kinds of crazy stuff off this waterfall. So I was like, okay,
yes, I've got this. I'm sitting here watching like a nine-year-old do a front flip off of
it. I could do this. So I'm wearing a life jacket. Thank God. Always
wear a life jacket if you're going to try jumping off of something or do anything like
that. And I jumped off and I guess I didn't realize how far I was going to be dropping
and I just sat on the water with my legs basically in a pike position. It hurts so bad. All of
my friends were already swimming over to me by the time I had come
up and they were grabbing my life jacket to pull me back to the boat because my legs from
my butt cheeks to my ankles were black as coal as soon as I got out of the water. That
terrified me. The back of my legs were both bruised, like I said, from my butt cheeks
to my ankles for three months. I had
to get checked to make sure I didn't have blood clots and all kinds of stuff. And I
think like after that, it just really changed how I felt about heights. And again, as I
got older, I just got more and more scared. And of course having Cruz, like I don't want
him to be around anything like that because it terrifies me. But roller coasters, I guess,
they're okay. I think they're fun because you go
so fast. It's not like you're just standing on an edge. You get up to the top and then you're
already going and it's like thrill and it's fun. But I'm telling you, my body was not acting the
same. Marianne was like, I'm going to sit this one out because she feels the same exact way I am.
And three months postpartum, I'm sure she was like, I can't
keep doing all these roller coasters with you. And I was like, I get it girl. But still,
it was fun. It was fun to feel like a kid again. And just heights, man. They are just
not my thing.
While Marianne was here though, she loves Love Island. So I finally started watching
some of the Love Island with her. And I was getting into it. I even watched the newest
episode today and I'm like, okay, I see why people love this so much. My mom loves it.
My mom texted me and she was like, Brittany, Megan Thee Stallion is on Love Island because
she knows I love her. And I was like, I know mom, I saw her with pictures with Ariana. So I just think it's cute because my mom absolutely
loves Love Island too. But now that I know all the couples and stuff or who's left in
the villa, let's talk about it. This is a reality TV podcast. So let's get into some
reality TV. And I know everyone out there is loving Love Island. So first off,
as a viewer and someone who knows how reality TV is and everything like that, I feel like Iris
and Pepe don't get as much airtime as everybody else. And I wonder how that affects the voting,
because they're not getting as much airtime as everyone else. I don't really know much about
their relationship or whatever they have going on. But I feel like some of the
other people get a lot more time. And I think that that would have to reflect on how people
are voting.
It's also crazy to me that they have to pick somebody to choose to date and then also America
can vote off somebody. It's very cool, but there's a lot of moving pieces. I'm surprised the turnover is so quick. It amazes me, honestly, because for us, it takes like six or seven
months for a show to come out. For The Valley, we were about to start filming last year and
our season is still going on. You know what I mean? So it's just been like a big
break in between. And this is just right away, right away, right away, which is so crazy. But
yeah, Iris and Pepe, I'm wondering if I'm going to see a little bit more of them. Alandria and Nick.
I feel like what Marianne was telling me is that America really loves them together and wants them to be together. And I think that it could be good because they are in a friendship and they're starting a friendship.
And that could grow into like the best relationship of everybody because they didn't start off
so hot and heavy. And now they're like starting to like kiss each other and you know, feel
that connection. So interested to see what happens with them. I think Nick is hilarious and he's such a cutie pie. Landry is beautiful. Everybody on the show is absolutely
gorgeous. But yeah, wondering how that is going to go if they're actually going to have
a connection once they leave the villa. The villa, I love it. And they get to be in Fiji.
How freaking awesome is that? Then we have Shelly and Ace, which I
think Shelly is beautiful. She is drop dead gorgeous. Again, they all are gorgeous, but
I don't know. I just think she's the prettiest. She's just so beautiful, so naturally pretty.
She's so cute. They're gorgeous. I don't really know much about their relationship
yet either. Again, I'm just jumping on and trying to figure it all out. But it did crack
me up that they got twins in the baby challenge whenever everyone else got a single. I think
one other person might've had twins. I can't really remember it all. But yeah, that was
a cute challenge and a cute thing. You could tell Huda wanted to be like the best mama because she's a mom in real life.
But she cracks me up that girl.
And speaking of them, Huda and Chris, they seem like they're going through it right now.
I love that I'm talking about Love Island because I'm so new to this.
So you guys might disagree with things I'm saying because you've been watching from the start, but this is just what I've seen
from the past couple episodes.
Huda and Chris, they can't seem to get along about kissing in public, which I can kind
of understand why on TV with your family, your friends, everybody watching back home, you might not want to
kiss out in public and in front of everybody and the whole PDA thing. But also I see Chris's
point because he's like, you want to get busy with it as soon as we're in the bedroom. So
why can't you just give me a pet kiss in public? A pet kiss is fine. You don't have to do full on
PDA, but I could see why that would be confusing. So what do we think guys? Are they going to
make it? Or is this just something that they're in the villa together and they're both hot
and they like each other because of that? It's confusing. These dating competition shows
are so hard because I'm so competitive.
So I would just want to win, but they're supposed to be there for the right reasons and to find
love. So it's just a mixed bag. I know there are some couples who have stayed together
from it though. So maybe it works.
Okay, ladies, I think a lot of times we forget to, you know, we're always washing our face

Amaya and Brian. Amaya, I just love her. Her eyes are so beautiful. Her and Brian are very
cute. Brian seems like he's a real down to earth, like sweet guy. Amaya's one liners
absolutely crack me up. Her singing, I know I'm not perfect or whatever she did, but at least I'm
pretty. She's cute. Her one liners are. And I think they could actually be a good couple.
It is crazy to me that they say, what's it called? The hideaway? Look at me trying to remember all
the words that people say in the hideaway and with the cameras there and everything, doing all that
stuff. I've been on reality TV for a long time. So I can't imagine. I know I've done so many
stupid things over the years that I had to watch back and I'm like, Oh my God. But I'm sure there's
been a couple of times where I've kissed maybe even made out but like actually getting like
physical physical and like hooking up in the bed. We're seeing these couples like hooking
up and like the covers moving and all that stuff. Like to know that there's cameras there
and watching like that has to be so weird and so uncomfortable. I could not imagine doing that myself. Thank God we don't
have cameras 24-7 in my house rolling in my bedroom, in my living room. We only have certain
times where we are on camera. So if you want to do something like that, you got your own privacy. So I just can't
imagine how that would feel. Ariana, of course, my girl, she looks beautiful, drop dead beautiful
every single episode. Her stylist and whoever she's using, she looks amazing. All of her outfits are hitting. I mean, damn, she looks good. And I absolutely love that
for her. There was recently somebody made an AI video of Ariana. It was taken from a
clip where she did a Zoom interview. I don't know if you guys saw this online, but they
made it look so real. Her mouth was moving to the words and everything like that. And
they used an AI generated voice that sounded just like her. And mouth was moving to the words and everything like that. And they used an AI generated
voice that sounded just like her. And it was like her talking shit about the cast and acting like
she didn't like the cast. Arianna didn't even say any of that. It was AI. And it's just so scary
how many people believe that that's true. AI is getting so freaking scary because it's getting so good. Half the time
whenever I see something on the internet, I'm like, is this real or is this AI? It's
starting to get like that because it's getting so good. And I know Ariana was upset about
that. I think she commented underneath there and was like, I hate AI. Because even though
people are saying like this is AI, some other people still believe it and don't realize that it's AI, especially like the older generation.
I hate to say that, but it's true because the technology is getting so crazy.
There was recently a photo that was made of Jax where he was sitting in a hospital bed
with a broken arm or something.
The headline said that Jax Taylor got in a fight at a grocery store with a broken arm or something. And the headline said that Jax
Taylor got in a fight at a grocery store with an elderly woman. And it was an AI photo made
of Jax in a hospital bed. And people were still sending it to me being like, is this
true? Is this true? I don't think it was true. But some people still thought that it was
true and it wasn't. It was an AI photo. That never happened. But
yeah, be careful guys with what you see online. Make sure it is real because there are a lot
of rumors out there and there are a lot of things, like I said, that are AI generated.
So keep your eyes peeled and don't believe everything you read. Oh my gosh, for example, Janet and Jason and their son Cameron just went on a
vacation to Switzerland. They're out and having this beautiful vacation. Somebody started
a rumor that they fled the country. People were actually believing that. I had comments
under my own photos being like, Janet fled the country, Janet fled the country. No, she went on a family
vacation that she had planned for a very long time and great for her to get away. And it looked
like the vacation was absolutely amazing. But people actually believe that, that she fled the
country. Like what? So don't believe everything you read because there is just some nonsense out
there. Like I said before, my mom was so upset whenever there was a fake headline that said my mom was suing
Jax or that Jax was suing my mom. I mean, she was crying because people were writing
her believing that too. And it was not true. And I was like, mom, just, you know, I know
it's hard because I guess I deal with it a lot worse, you know, like the rumor mill and
the hate online and
stuff. But it was like really getting to her. And I was like, just tell everybody it's not
true. I'll bring it up that it's not true. It's just crazy how the world is getting and
how people will really believe everything they read.
I saw a quote once and it was a picture of Abraham Lincoln and the quote said,
don't believe everything you read online, Abraham Lincoln.
And it just cracked me up because like, obviously there was no computers back
then and it just goes perfectly with everything else because you just really
cannot believe everything
that you read online.
One thing that's going around right now, all over the internet, and a lot of you guys wrote
into me to talk about it.
And I'll just like say a little thing about it because I don't like talking about my friends'
personal lives.
So I'm only going to say what has been out there in the public. The whole Sheena and Brock thing where Brock cheated whenever
Sheena was pregnant. I hate that. I hate that it's like going everywhere and I'm sure people
are like driving them crazy right now. In the media. I only found out about it like
a month or so ago. So even like her friends didn't really
know about it. I don't even know who it was that it was with. So many people kept asking
me that. I don't know who it was that was with, but I do know that if Sheena and Brock
decided to make it through, then nobody should judge them for that. Like, you know, they're
doing great. They have a beautiful daughter. They have a beautiful home. They always seem so happy.
So yes, I'm sure that was a horrible, scary time for her, but she made the decision to
stay with him.
I have done that in the past and I would never, ever, ever judge somebody for that because
she knows what's best for her.
Like I said, they're doing amazing now.
They always seem so happy. Summer is thriving. She is such a great girl. And I know that
Sheena loves him and that Brock loves her. So mistakes happen sometimes and hopefully,
you know, they're healed from it. And that's why she's comfortable with talking about it
now because she is healed. So I wish them the best. And that's all I'm going to say
about that because I love
my friends. Speaking of loving my friends, there's been a lot of stuff happening lately
with me, but I just want everybody to know that I'm in a much better place right now
than I was last summer. Last summer was like one of the hardest summers of my life going
through so much. A lot of it that people saw, a lot
of it that people didn't see. It was just a really, really hard summer for me. And I
think there's been times where I acted a little out of character. But I hope people realize
that was just a really hard time for me. And I feel so much better now. I'm in such a better place.
I love all my friends.
I have such amazing friends who have helped me through the situations that I'm in and
really stood by me and been there for anything.
The other day, Chris and Luke only live like four minutes away from me.
There was a situation that happened.
Not going to go into detail about it right now, but there's a situation that happened
and I was not around. I was like an hour and a half away from my house. So
I called Kristen and Luke and Luke went over and checked on it immediately for me. Like
I freaking love them. Made sure the situation was great. Like they're going to be such amazing
parents. They already are. Kaya is so beautiful, but I love my friends.
I love that I can count on them and they know that they can count on me as well. But yeah,
working on myself and feeling like a much better place is going to be a whole different
Brittany, I hope. But I'm trying to be strong and I'm trying to do the best that I can for what I have been
given. But let me say again, I love all my friends. All of them are amazing people. We all have our
ups and downs, just like everybody in the world. And imagine having cameras on you all the time.
You're going to make mistakes here and there. Nobody's perfect. I'm definitely not perfect. Never ever said I was. And you know, it's a journey.
But I try to be open and honest as I can always. And once I can talk about everything more, I will.
There's so much more happening. There's so much more to come still. So stay tuned. I do think the world, like the social media world
and everything, we need to do a little bit better with all the hate and all the commenting on women's
bodies or just in general on different things. Some of my friends have received death threats
and crazy things like that. I'm reading that these love islanders are getting like crazy death threats and everything and just horrible stuff.
And it's like, that's not okay.
We have to, we have to do better than that, you know, because what kind of world are our
kids going to grow up if the hate is already so bad right now?
Everything is only going to get worse.
We have to like, try to make the change, try to be positive.
I know I say it all the time, but try to be positive.
Don't be a, don't be an Instagram troll.
Don't be an Instagram troll. Don't be an Instagram troll. If you're going to take any advice from me with my crazy life
journey, don't be an Instagram troll. You never know how that affects somebody, how
it can affect their entire day. And people do put their lives out there. And it's okay
to have opinions and different things like that. But whenever it goes to like death threats
and calling people names and just really hurtful things, that's crossing the line. So I think everybody
needs to chill just a little bit. Do it for our kids. Do it for the next generations. We
got to make things better. Support each other, especially women to women. I will always support the girls and you're beautiful.
Your body's great the way it is.
Do you do what makes you happy and you feel good and be that for somebody else as well.
We can do a little update because a lot of people asked about my cruisy.
So I wanted to do a little update on cruise.
And I wanted to read this comment that somebody wrote underneath my
post with People Magazine whenever I came out with Cruz's autism diagnosis, because
I thought it was so sweet and so beautiful. And if there's other autism mommies or daddies
out there listening, you'll probably love this comment as well. Her name is Kaylee Marie.
She said, my son was nonverbal till four.
He's now 11 and he's very high functioning, plays soccer and is in school clubs.
They say God gives us special kids because we are special moms that can take care of
them on earth.
Everything will be great.
Welcome to the autism mom club.
You will all be okay.
Autism isn't a disability.
It's a different ability." That just made my whole day. Whenever I read that comment,
I DMed her back and I said, thank you so much. Hopefully that will make somebody else's day
too, because I do believe that God gave me a special kid because he is amazing and I
would not change a thing about him.
And he makes my life more special
and more perfect every single day.
God, I love that kid so much.
Here was another quote that I found.
This was by anonymous.
Autism is a journey I never planned,
but I sure do love my tour guide.
Like how sweet is that?
He is doing so good. He is saying a couple different words
here and there. Mommy is his favorite word, which I love. He's starting to say like,
again, again, and more, and up. He is starting to have a couple more things come back in
his speech. But I know that he's almost there.
He's almost there. So we're just working in OT, which is occupational therapy. We're
working in speech therapy, his school, everything like that every single day. He loves his books
and he is just doing amazing. There's just different things I see about him that are growing every single
day and I just know that we are on the verge of having him speaking more.
It's a beautiful journey.
It's amazing to see and he is just doing amazing.
I appreciate everybody who always wants to check in on him and stuff because he is so perfect.
Let's go into some questions from some fans. Thanks for writing in. Follow me at at Brittany,

and stuff there as well. And I'll post like little clips from every podcast that I do so that you know what's coming up
and what is happening on each episode.
This is from forever underscore Ashley 03. Do you get mommy guilt and what has helped
you to move forward? Of course I get mommy guilt. I think every parent out there gets mommy guilt. I just
had to remember, I spend so much time with him, 24-7. I travel with him. I don't work
a normal nine to five, so I get to be with my son even more than a lot of people out
there get to be with their kids. And that is actually a blessing for me.
The only time I'm away is if I'm working or here and there, if I want to go to dinner or
spend time with some friends. But moms deserve that too. We still have to take care of ourselves
and still make sure that we are doing things for us and to make sure that we're healthy and happy as well because that's only going to be better for our son and your children at the end of the day. I know that he's well
taken care of anytime that I have to work or have to leave the house. He is just so
happy as soon as I come back. If I do have to travel or something, I FaceTime him three
to four times a day. I never leave for more than like two or three days at a time, but still you just miss
them so bad.
But I just feel very lucky that I do get to be with him so much.
He sleeps with me.
I don't care what people say.
I'm not going to ever have that time back.
So having him as my little sleeping buddy and everything, it's just, he's perfect.
He's my little ride or die.
If you've been listening to my podcast for a while, you already know that I love Haya.
Cruz loves the vitamins.
So I feel like he's actually getting so many of the nutrients and vitamins that he needs
with these gummies.
He loves that he can decorate his bottle with the stickers.
He's really into stickers right now.
So it's a cute little plus that comes with Haya.
And since he is so picky, I want to make sure that he's getting everything that he needs to become so big and so strong.
Haya fills in the most common gaps in the modern children's diets to provide
the full body nourishment our kids need with a yummy taste they love. Formulated
with the help of nutritional experts, Haya is pressed with the blend of 12
organic fruits and veggies then supercharged with 15 essential vitamins and minerals, including
vitamin D, B12, C, zinc, folate, and many others to help support immunity, energy, brain function,
mood, concentration, teeth, bones, and more. I love it. Make sure you're also checking out their
new kids probiotic and nighttime essentials. You will love that. And as a parent, you will feel so good knowing that your kid is getting what they need to grow and be strong and Cruz
loves them. We've worked out a special deal with Haya for their best selling children's
vitamin. Receive 50% off your first order. To claim this deal, you must go to hayahealth.com

What is something you do to help you relax when you are feeling
overwhelmed?
So there's a few things I do. Definitely being around Cruz and just like shutting off my
phone and shutting off the Instagram and all that stuff. Sometimes I just have to do that
and just play with him. We go outside, we swim, we're on the swing sets, we go to the
park, we go to sky zone, we do different things and I try to shut off social media for a while or I'll have somebody in my team
go through and delete negative comments because I'm sorry, I'm not going to let you guys bash
my friends on my page or talk horribly about me.
I will delete those comments because I need to live in a positive headspace.
People will call you out and be like, I see that you're deleting comments.
Yeah, I sure am because I'm not going to let you be a hater for no reason.
And you know what I mean? So that's just what it is. I don't like to see that stuff.
I don't need to let it affect my mental headspace because that could be overwhelming at times. So
shutting off social media, hanging around crews, going to the pool, doing stuff like that.
I love super little video games. I have a Nintendo Switch. I'll be playing like Donkey Kong and Shutting off social media, hanging around crews, going to the pool, doing stuff like that.
I love super little video games.
I have a Nintendo Switch.
I'll be playing like Donkey Kong and Mario Kart, all the old school games to get my mind
off of things.
I like to run, really trying to get back into the gym and working on my health and fitness
as well right now.
So watch out for that guys because Brittany's coming back baby.
Even though I feel great, I'm just trying to get into a very good healthy space mentally
and physically.
But all of that makes me feel good whenever I'm filming overwhelmed.
But definitely like shutting off social media and trying to stay on the comment section
helps.
This is from JQUII.
I don't know how you would say that. What
do you miss most about life before all the chaos of fame, marriage and parenting? What
do I miss most about life? I'm super close to my family and my friends back in Kentucky
and I try to see them as much as I can, but I definitely miss how much time I got to spend
with them. That's definitely something that is different. I try to go home as much as I can.
My mom will be coming here in September to stay with me for a while again. My dad and my brother
and everybody was just here visiting me. Like I said, my friends was here. I was just in Nashville
with all my friends and my brothers and sisters. But yeah, I definitely miss all
the time that I got to spend with them. And of course, I do miss sometimes... Well, I
just talked about it, like the comment section and the hate and all that stuff. It would
be easier to not have that. But again, I have so much more support. And thank you guys for
all the support that you've given me throughout this crazy time in my life. No, I'm not always perfect, but I do feel the love. And that's so
much more than the hate. And I really appreciate that. And I love you guys. This is from Nat Nicole.
Do you ever miss cheerleading? Oh my gosh. Yes. I miss cheerleading so much. I cheered since I was like four years old. I cheered for Civetan
football, basketball. Then I cheered for middle school. Then I cheered for high school. Then
I cheered in college at EKU. It was such a big part of my life and doing gymnastics and
all that. I still have dreams to this day where I'm like out on the competition mat.
We're at like nationals or something, and
I can't remember the routine. I don't know why I have that dream still, but it feels
so real. I look like I did back in the day. I still have my George Rogers Clark cardinal
uniform on. We used to curl our hair in sponge rollers and we had to sleep in it the night
before competition with the big ribbons and have that little curly ponytail.
But whenever I dream, it's the same thing. Dreams are crazy. And I go out there and I can't
remember the routine. That would be terrifying. You just go out there and forget it. It never
happened to me in real life, but for some reason, I still have those dreams.
Speaking of dreams, this is off topic, but I have dreams a lot recently too, where I
can remember exactly what my childhood homes look like. The childhood homes that we don't
even live in anymore. My dad doesn't live in the same place, my mom doesn't, but I can
remember the wallpaper, everything, the upstairs, the downstairs, the deck, the yard. I love
those dreams whenever it's nothing bad happening. It's just like you're remembering and reliving your childhood.
Those are super cool.
All right, last question.
This is from Amelia G 1788.
Do you think being back on TV, The Valley, helped you reflect on the way Jax treated
you?
Absolutely.
I've said this before, and I'll say it again.
I think that it helped to hold me accountable and really put a mirror up to myself to where I could see what was going on. And I was so
blind to a lot of things. And it really helped me see that I needed to change and that I
needed to get out of an unhealthy space. A lot of people don't get to have something
like that to where they can really look back and reflect on things.
So I am grateful for that.
And I really do think it held me accountable.
And now I am in my healing phase and I'm feeling better.
Yes.
