Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of when reality hits.
This week we are back at it with my baby Zach Wickham.
Say hello.
What's up y'all?
I know you love when I'm on the podcast.
Oh yes, every single time I have Zach on I get so many comments that we should do a podcast
together, that people love whenever you're on, that we're so funny because we are.
I mean, we are amazing together.
We are so amazing.
We've been friends for 15 years.
It's sometimes when we say things like that out loud, it is, it's also amazing, but it
also hurts because I'm like, how, how is that possible?
How old are we?
I know, like, I'm like, no, I still supposed to be 21.
We're still 21.
We just met last week.
I don't know what's going on.
Oh my goodness.
But anyways, I love you.
And me and Zach have so much to cover
I know a lot of you guys wrote in whenever I asked for questions for Zach and I on my Instagram and a lot of them
Were about Jack's Alex Baskin hot mic Bravo podcast
And we're definitely going to get into that because there's a lot of things that both of us have
We got some opinions and we know the truth. So obviously, you know, you know who to believe
on these types of situations. Exactly. Cause we'll explain away a lot of that. A lot of
that. A lot of what was said because oh my God, cringe, cringe, cringe. And I saw a lot of what was said because oh my god cringe cringe cringe and I saw a lot of
comments that were agreeing with me well because that's the only way to be they know they know
anytime jack's mouth his lips are parted it's a lie so it just is yeah so true okay so before
we get into all of that uh we want to talk about some things that have been going on
in the valley world because I know that everybody is so excited for season two.
We are too.
We still don't know the exact date.
A lot of people have been asking, but we still don't even know that.
So it will be sooner than later.
I always like to tell people, if you think we know any sooner than you, it is maybe 24
hours before.
Maybe 24 hours.
And that's if we're lucky that day.
We only get to see the episodes.
I think people forget this.
I've talked about this a couple of times on my podcast.
But they forget.
But we only get to see even our episodes a day before it comes out.
We do not get to see the full season.
We don't know what's going on.
No.
We get it 24 hours before you all.
And sometimes even less than that. So we only know how bad it's going to be or how good it's going to be for us for 24 hours
and prepare ourselves for what's coming on social media.
Because we all know that the backlash on social media is crazy.
Yeah, we all, they give us 24 hours to prepare mentally.
Yeah, exactly.
So speaking of the Valley, this week on Monday and Tuesday, we all shot our intros for season
two.
Because obviously we needed new ones.
Yeah, we needed new ones, but they are so good.
I cannot wait for you guys to see them.
We can't really go into detail about that, but you guys will see that probably soon.
I'm sure we'll show that even before the season comes out.
And they're so, they're just so much more real than last year and like you and it's just
great.
They're so cute and they're so well done.
And I'm in them.
Yeah.
Oh my god.
Yeah.
That's it's a miracle that has moved from friend of two main cast member.
I don't have to Photoshop myself in anything anymore.
What?
That's amazing.
Yeah. If you guys didn't see it last year, Zach, it was like our whole opening scene with like
everybody was Zach and Jasmine for some reason. And Zach Photoshopped him and Jasmine like in the
window peeking out, looking at us. And I just said, Oh guys, we were late. So we just like
stood in the window because we weren't ready yet. Yeah. I love that. No more of that this year.
No, I that this year.
No, I'm so happy and I'm so happy for you and Jasmine because you deserve that too.
And it is going to be so cute. So I can't wait for you guys to see that. At least we
know that part's going to be good. Yeah, exactly. Without any, any worries or anything like
that coming or away from at least that part. That standpoint. Exactly. Cause there's going
to be a lot of other stuff to go over whenever the show airs.
And trust me, I'll have Zach on many, many times throughout the season to recap the episodes.
You all are welcome.
Something else that Zach and I just recently did is if you were following me on social
media, you probably saw that we were in Palm Springs for a couple nights.
It was so freaking amazing.
We stayed at like the greatest house.
The greatest house.
It was, what's it called?
It's an estate.
Let's be real, it's an estate.
It ain't no house.
It's, you know, like 10 bedrooms.
Yeah, like 10 bedrooms.
It has a casita.
It has a bowling alley.
A lazy river.
Lazy river, putt putt golf course.
It had a whole arcade. A theater, a theater, all the good stuff.
It is just, it was the craziest freaking house I've ever stayed at.
Yeah.
Shout out to luxury stallion estates in Palm Springs.
If you guys are ever looking for a huge house to throw an event at, they do weddings there.
I mean, it is amazing.
There was only like six of us staying there in this humongous house.
Yeah, that was my favorite part.
It started off, Brittany's like, okay, we'll invite all these people and blah blah.
And then it just like dwindled down because we had to change dates.
And then we're like, we just gotta, we just gotta go.
Yeah.
And it ended up being six of us.
But honestly, it was like, it was a lot of fun.
It was a lot of fun.
And what was your favorite part about the house?
I mean, doing the lazy river, like, yeah, who gets a lazy river in their house?
And I could have just, and it was actually like strong current. So it was like,
good. It like, it was a good lazy river. Yeah.
I love a good lazy river. And I thought the bowling alley was so cool.
Like, yeah,
cause it was like not a full size bowling alley.
The balls you could hold in your hand.
Yeah.
And then the pins were like a little bit smaller.
So it was like to scale bowling.
Yeah.
Which was actually like almost even more fun.
It was a lot of fun and they had two lanes so that you could play like against your friends and stuff.
We just loved it.
It was, it was just the best.
It was good.
It was me, Zach, his boyfriend Benji, Kristen, Luke, and our friend James.
It's so funny because everybody after I posted my Halloween picture, everybody thought that
James was my boyfriend because he was dressed up as a green witch just like me and I had
my leg up and I'm like-
His boyfriend's right next to you.
Yeah, I was like his boyfriend is literally in the photo.
Like he's not my boyfriend.
I love James to death, but that was cracking me up.
Everybody was being like, oh, it's a Jax 2.0 and saying like the funniest
stuff. And I'm like, hotter Jax. I was like dying. It was funny, but no, I don't have
a boyfriend guys. I still don't have a boyfriend. That was really funny though, that it was
that he just happened to come as a green witch and his boyfriend did kind of like the Glinda,
but like with white.
And then you just happened to be a green witch that year.
So it's like you both were witches.
Yeah.
So I guess people just were like, oh, that's her new boyfriend.
And everybody was commenting.
And even after I said, and in a comment of it, I said, um, guys, he's dating the guy
in the photo.
And like people just still kept going on that he was my new boyfriend.
Well, I just love that also people just assume if you post a picture with a boy, like when
we posted our photo from Hawaii and it was us in the first picture and there was someone
under there that was like, why are you posting your new man or what are you talking about?
No. I'm like, Zach has been my friend for 15 years. This is not the first photo
of him on my page even. Like, yeah, like I don't understand how much more or if you like
swiped one more photo, it would have been a picture of me and my boyfriend. Like people
just it amazes me how people just do not pay attention. So funny. And another great thing
that is coming up is Zach is coming on the road with me.
What?
Woohoo!
We are going to be doing a live podcast slash show because we're going to make it fun and
amazing.
Oh yeah, this is going to be, there's many elements.
Yes.
And Zach is my special guest and we might have a couple other special guests pop on,
but we're not going to announce them because they will be special guests and they will
be a surprise. But for anybody who wants to come see us live, it'll be my first time doing
my own live show. I have in the past been on Saucy's before and I've been on Lola's
before, but this will actually be mine and I'm so excited. So it is on December 2nd and
it's at City Winery in New York City. So please come see us. Their Instagram
account is at City Winery NYC and you can go there to get tickets and more details and things like
that. So please come see us. It'll be so fun. It will be so, so fun. We have so many great things
and elements planned for it. It's going to be quite the
show. And we're just getting started. Like we're not going to stop working on this up
until we are actually on stage. It's going to be good. It's going to be real good. Y'all
are going to... It's going to be hilarious. It's going to be worth the money. Let's just
say that. It's going to be hilarious. And of course we'll be meeting greats and stuff
like that as well. So you'll be able to meet and take photos with Zach and I. So it'll
be very, very, very fun. Um. So we hope to see you there. And
of course, New York City in December, I cannot wait. I know because it's like the one, it's probably
the one US city that really goes like pretty all out for Christmas. Yes. And you know, makes it
just everything. And I won't mind it being so cold because it's in New York City. And then we can
wear cute coats and hoodies and stuff, which we can't do here because you and I run so hot all the time.
Oh yeah. Zach and I are like, I have the air conditioning set to like 67.
We got 25 fans go and he's just like me.
So it works out whenever we have to room together because we both need everything
extremely cold.
Yeah. Like my boyfriend literally wears sweatpants and a hoodie to bed
under a huge cover and
I am basically naked on without the cover.
Yeah.
That's how vastly different we are.
Let's discuss something we all care about.
What's on your feet?
And no, I'm not talking about those super cute but actually torture chamber shoes.
I'm talking about G to five shoes.
The shoes your feet have literally been begging for.
By the end of the day, we're all feeling a little broken down like a reunion special,
which is why Geedify provides two free orthotics with every shoe and a built-in lateral stabilizer
that realigns your body. Sick of feeling like your feet are taking more hits than a watch what happens live guest? Geetify's patented VeroShok technology absorbs all the shock and stress so you don't have
to.
I love my Geetify shoes.
I'm really trying to run at least four times a week now and running in these shoes feels
absolutely amazing.
And not only that, I'm chasing after a three year old toddler all day.
So I absolutely love these shoes.
I always feel great at the end of the day.
No shin splints and my feet are always feeling so comfy.
Whether you're power walking to brunch or making a dramatic exit, these shoes have your
back and feet.
Who knew comfort could be this chic and shady?
So if you're still walking around in shoes that scream, I'm suffering honey

You know we've never gone to New York City together.
Which is crazy.
Yeah, I've been so many times.
Well, and there was a couple times that I think that I would have gone with you.
Yeah.
Would have, but then it just didn't work out because of either my work schedule or whatever
else.
Or just something.
Or I was going for like two days.
Like if we're Watch Out!
I've Been Live and coming right back or something.
So not really worth it to like buy tickets and do that whole thing.
If you can't spend time,
we're going to extend our trip this time too and do a lot of fun stuff while
we're there. Oh yeah. We're going to make it like a fun New York Christmas vibe.
And I'm sure that Zach will make me do a lot of Tik Toks. So many get ready.
Now that I finally have you like got you one or two or three, you know,
we've gotten a few under the belt. Now it's like, I'm going to keep you going.
Yes.
Go follow me on TikTok if you're not.
It's just at Brittany Cartwright.
I just posted my second one and I'm going to continue to do more because now actually
I'm going to make Zach post them all because he's the one who knows how to do it.
I still don't know how to do any of that stuff.
It kills me how I have tried to get you and Kristen to do it for so long.
I finally got Kristen to do it and was trying to pull you into it and you're like, nah,
I'm good.
And now I finally have gotten you.
So now that I've got you, I am going to continue.
Oh yeah, we're going to do some funny ones.
And I've already got some new ones that I saw that I need to send to you that are going
to be funny.
We're so gen Z.
TikTok is just so much fun though.
I love TikTok so much.
And I've noticed that the people aren't as mean on TikTok.
Like a lot nicer than Instagram for some reason.
They just, well, it's a whole new,
I feel like it's almost like all the negativity
just stayed on Instagram or whatever.
And then just everybody on TikTok is so positive
and they want it to be positive.
Yeah, and that's what we need in life.
We need to stop doing this negative stuff. Like
I'm going to talk about bullies on another part of this podcast because it's gotten ridiculous.
It is so bad. But I think it's time to get into a little bit of the Hot Mike podcast.
Okay, what was what stands out to you the most Zach from that podcast?
The thing that stands out to me the most is honestly just seeing Jack's like do the whole
like looking down like it's his demeanor.
Yeah, the looking down in the oh man like just trying to be like defeatist like oh I'm
such a victim like I've you know I've been through so I did. I've really worked on myself and man, like, and I'm looking at that and I see what he does
to other people every single day and how he acts. And I'm like, wow, you can really, you
might have had a career as an actor because that shit that was like, that's actually really
good because that is not how you act 24 seven.
No, I think, and you know, I think that I'm wanting to cover some of this stuff because it was so public and
both podcasts, mine and his, actually I don't know if his did, but mine was like number
one of all my interview.
So that means a lot of people listen and I'm sure a lot of people listen to his too.
And I feel like because we are public figures, I need to like address certain things.
Like, the whole thing with him trying to act like that he has been in therapy and doing
all this stuff ever since he got out of rehab is a lie.
It's a lie.
He has not been one time. And I want to make that very clear because I'm, I'm upset with
the victim blaming that's going on and all these different things and him
trying to act like he is doing things that he's not doing to the public.
So I think it's important to address that because it only is hurting him and it's hurting
me and it's hurting our son for him to not be accountable in the way that he's acting
to the public that he's accountable.
Yeah, that's one of the biggest things is he's trying to say I'm holding myself accountable I'm doing these things to better myself when in reality behind the scenes
not one of the things that he is saying and
The craziest part and we've talked about this before is that I think he just makes it up and then believes it
Yeah, because that's what sociopaths do they just like make up their own world
They live in it and if you step out of bounds, like you're the problem, not them.
Yeah, exactly.
It's been a lot and as Alex said many times on the podcast, like everything will be covered
this season.
And I feel like a lot, I've gotten a lot of hate from a lot of people that like listen
to the podcast and stuff underneath of the, they are the comments were were so negative and a lot of the comments were saying stuff like you
guys shouldn't be bashing each other for your son and all this stuff and I'm like
you know what we were filming a TV show and Jax was well aware that we were
filming a TV show and that this was going to air to millions of people and
he still did the things that he did to me. So why would I not be able to
talk about my side? Because his son will know these things for himself.
Also let's get one thing straight everybody. Um, Cruz is not going to know these things
for a while. It's not like, you know, they're sitting down Cruz and being like mommy and
daddy fought. Like you know what I mean? No, no, no, no. In front of Cruz. Cruz is protected from a lot of this.
Oh yeah. In front of Cruz, I try to do my best with co-parenting and it can be extremely hard
because Jax is not easy and he's not going to make this easy for me. And I'm just trying my best in
front of our son to not let him see me angry and not let him see me upset. No matter what, he is the most important thing.
No matter what, no matter what show I do, what podcasts I do.
He always is number one.
And comments like that were really starting to get to me because
like I feel like I need to share my story because there are so many women
trapped in abusive relationships who have known that they needed to get out
for years and can't
find the strength to get out.
It took me years to find the strength to walk away from that because I do love him and I
have been madly in love with him.
I didn't think that marrying him, I would ever divorce him.
I thought it was going to be me and him for life.
So I feel like I had to be strong and do the hard thing and get out.
And I know there are so many women out there
who are still trying to find their strength. And that's why I feel like it's important to
tell my story and be open about it because I know it will help women who see this.
It will help so many people. And I think the other thing is they've seen your all's relationship
throughout the years. And, you know, some people don't know what's gone on behind the scenes or what went
on from, you know, between the Vanderpump rules and the Valley starting. And I think
it's so important for you all to talk about the experiences. Well, especially you, because
nobody knows what you've been through and what you continue to go through. So it's not
about bashing each other. And also you're not bashing him.
You're just trying to get the story straight with your lies.
Yeah, exactly.
I'm not, I don't feel like I'm bashing.
I'm actually just telling the truth.
I'm not lying.
I'm not spreading a false narrative.
I'm, I'm talking about things that actually happened and you guys have to
realize like that was my producer interviewing me.
So like, he knows what's going to be on the show.
And even as much as I said on that podcast, and we can obviously only I was like, that was my producer interviewing me. So like he knows what's going to be on the show.
And even as much as I said on that podcast, and we can obviously only go over what has
been said publicly on that podcast because we don't want to get in trouble.
But we ain't divulging anything.
No, no.
But even there was a huge amount, I feel like that was even shown of what all Jax did to
me. And that's not even
all of it.
It doesn't even scratch the surface.
So I just like, I just don't really appreciate comments like that because my son is number
one no matter what.
I will go to war for him and I am going to war for him and he is always protected no
matter what.
And that's the thing is like it's not a fight in front of him. It's not a fight, whatever.
And the thing is, she's fighting for her son.
So when you want to say, oh, well, no, that's why she's doing what she's doing.
She's doing it so that they're away from this abusive life that they've been in.
Yes, exactly.
I'm trying to be as strong as I possibly can.

Another thing that I wanted to address was Jack's saying that he...
Are we saying the no outburst one?
Is that what you were going to say?
Oh, let's go there.
I wasn't even going to... That's not even the one I was going to say, but yes, yes. One is that what you're
That's like what I was gonna say, but yes, yes Can we okay, we just gotta start with this one
I laughed so hard like we just laughed when he said oh, you know, I haven't had any outburst since being out
number one the outburst that he had via text in
rehab
were in rehab were outrageous. Were like the back and the fore, it was insane.
Love bombing, love, or like hate bombing.
Like it was crazy.
Yeah, he would love bomb me and then he would rage text me.
Love bombing, rage text me.
And then another thing he said on the podcast
is he said that he noticed he was doing that to me
and stopped halfway through while he was in his stay
at the mental health facility. That's not true. What actually happened is he was rage texting me so much and
he only had two weeks left in the facility. So I blocked him. That's the only reason the rage
texting stopped is because I blocked his phone number so he could not contact me whatsoever
anymore. So him acting like that he stopped because he noticed what he was doing is yet another
false narrative because that's not what happened.
Yeah.
Basically, at every point when he says something, everybody should be questioning, well, wait,
but why?
Or what's the real thing?
Yeah.
It's like every single thing he creates is a false narrative.
It is.
And what I was going to start about was the hookup thing.
Oh Lord.
Because let me say this.
Of course, Jack said that.
Of course he wanted to like throw me out there and throw me under the bus because everything
is so public.
So he's trying to make it look like, oh, well, Brittany texted me about hooking up.
So I must not be that bad of a person.
That is not how that went.
Jax actually texted me first saying that he wanted to hook up.
It did not happen.
I had a weak moment one time and I did say something.
Zach's gonna kill me because I don't even know if he knows this.
I do know that.
Okay, I did tell you.
Okay.
I did have a weak moment one time where I was like, maybe we should just just so that
you know, just like a hate.
I don't want to say the F word but but like, but let's be real.
We all know that that type of sex sometimes is the best.
So it's like, mama better get something out of this.
Yeah, but it did not happen.
We did not hook up.
So but he said it to me first.
And of course, he goes on that podcast and tries to out me
and make me look like that I was like trying to hook up
with him all the time.
It was a one time thing.
He said it to me first and it never happened.
I wanna make sure that is very, very clear.
And the timeline that he's trying to make it seem like
is like it was yesterday.
Yeah, he was like three days ago.
And also we recorded
these podcasts. Like I recorded my podcast with Alex in September, September. Yeah. Cause
I was even talking about on the podcast, October 4th. So I had recorded that like over a month
or so ago. I've even lost weight since then. So like, you know, I could, it was a while
ago. Um, but yeah, he was trying to make it look like that it just happened.
And I just want to say like, that's not true.
But also like, it's okay to have weak moments sometimes.
And I've noticed that about myself is like, I will have weak moments because I love this
man and did everything for him for 10 years.
And it's hard sometimes just to like completely cut that off.
But I know it's what I have to do and I'm not gonna allow it to happen ever again.
Well, and the thing is, is you've taken step by step.
So when you guys separated, that was huge for you.
That step, I saw it take so much strength on your part
to be able to do.
And then the next part where, you know,
it's just part after part.
I do think when you first separated, you know, it's just part after part. I do think
when you first separated, you thought, I think you thought we're probably going to get back together.
And then part way through the separation, I knew that you then finally felt it was not going to
happen. But like you still get sucked back in. But also you have been in a abusive, emotionally abusive relationship for a while.
It takes so long to be able to get out of that and not slip a little.
But that's why your friends weren't letting you slip.
That's why you were like, did I tell you that?
Because you know the second you tell me that, I'm showing up at the house making sure he
don't get in. Yeah. I mean, I just like, I just feel like the, the one upping of everything is what he's
trying to do to me.
And he even told me himself that he did that.
Like after he found out about Julian, it's out there and I've talked about it many times.
We don't even have to go over that again.
It was, you know, that's over with.
It's been over with for a long time.
But as soon as he found out about that, he wanted to one-up me any chance
He got by hurting me by bringing the girls around by being out in public with them
And you know, he just wanted to one-up me and he straight-up told me that and that is so hurtful
It still hurts me to see those things and I'm hoping one of these days. It won't hurt me anymore
I just have to get to that point but you but I will say
It won't hurt me anymore. I just have to get to that point.
But I will say, you have gotten to each... you're slowly getting there.
Every single day it gets better and better and I see you get stronger and stronger.
And I definitely, you know, and you'll see it all during season two, the, you know, back
and forth and you'll see it all in full because we're not going to talk about it all.
But like, because you'll see it. But now, coming out of this summer,
you are so much stronger and you've continued that struggle, but like, you're getting there.
Exactly.
But you've got to give yourself also the leeway to get there.
Exactly. Thank you. Yeah. Because it can be hard. And I think the whole public aspect of
this and it being so public and nasty is also really affecting me because whenever people are trying
to, the comments where people are saying things like, stop trying to be the victim. I have
no pity for you. You knew what you were getting into years ago. He cheated on you. You still
married him. Blah, blah, blah. I was in love with this person.
And also this has nothing to do with cheating.
Exactly. But I was madly and blindly in love with him for years.
I know this about myself.
I'm not playing the victim.
I am telling my truth and I think that I'm allowed to do that.
And I'm not sitting here asking people to pity me.
I'm never saying that I'm perfect in our relationship.
I know that I've done things.
I know that he was annoying me.
I was bickering and nitpicking at him.
You're also not playing the victim. I'm not. You're just not. I know that he was annoying me. I was bickering and nitpicking at him. You're also not playing the victim.
I'm not.
You're just not.
I'm not. And like comments like that were starting to really upset me because it was
just saying like, she's trying to be the victim. I don't pity her, blah, blah, blah. She's
not perfect. She's this, she's that. And I'm like, oh my gosh, this is why so many women
feel silenced in their fight. Because they are made out to look like that they are searching
for people to pity them and make them have all this like sympathy for them and everything like
no I'm just trying to tell my story. And you're trying to tell your story to help others. Yes.
Like this is just hey use my you know here's my story as a cautionary tale for yourself. If you see these flags, please take notice because they're there.
It only escalates and it is escalating still.
Even after Jax has been out, this whole thing that he's not having these outbursts and stuff,
it's fake and it's still escalating.
I'm still having to protect myself and my safety and everything.
So you just never know what could happen, you know?
And we see all these stories on TV and everything. I'm not saying that Jax would do that to me.
I'm not trying to say that, so let's not do that. But you just never know what things
can escalate to and it can be scary.
Exactly. And you're just trying to tell your story, get it out there. And in no way have
I ever thought that I see people playing victim. I know what that looks like.
Yeah.
And that is not what you were even remotely doing.
Thank you.
I don't think so either.
I mean, this is going to be on a TV show, so I have to be able to
talk about what happened to me.
People will see.
Yeah.
Like that's all I'll say is you will see.
And I mean, we're not going to go into what he said about the initiating.
I can barely even get it out.
What he said about initiating the divorce.
We're going to save that for the live podcast.
We're going to save a lot of stuff.
Yeah, we're going to save a lot of stuff because there's still more that I want to go over,
but just know that that's really funny.
We just love, oh God, it's just so crazy.
I mean, sheesh. The one thing, the one other thing
that I did want to talk about from his Hot Mic podcast was during it, he said, you know,
oh, like, I wanted to rehab for 30 days during, you know, oh, can I break the fourth wall?
Oh, like, you know, during filming and that's, you know, my my life that's really hard to do Oh, and he was like like why couldn't it have been a month or two months before I?
Was like cringing I was like this mother
I was gonna I'll just say that
He was we basically had asked him to go in two months prior to filming
Oh, yeah, he refused he refused and not only that, he gave credit to everybody but me for him going in there
whenever I am the one who forced him to go.
So it just really upset me that he was giving credit to all these people whenever it was
me because I want him to get better.
I want him to be better for my son.
Even if we are not getting together, but if we're never together or anything, like we
still are going to be in each other's lives for the rest of our lives because of my son.
And I need him to be healthy and in a better place for our son.
And that is my main focus is making sure that he is getting the help that he actually needs
because I still to this day do not think that he is there yet.
No, he's not.
And he needs to go back to somewhere else. needs, because I still to this day do not think that he is there yet. No, he's not. He's not.
And he needs to go back to somewhere else.
And I will say that publicly because it's how I feel and it's the truth.
So I think that people see things on Instagram and see little quotes and this and that that
keep getting posted.
But that's, you know, you're just saying what people want you to say.
Yeah, and you're not seeing the whole story and just, let's just say, listen, watch season
two and a lot of your questions will be answered and you'll be like, oh, nevermind.
Yeah.
So that's all we're going to say about the podcast right now because we're going to save
some of that juicy stuff for our live show because I think that there's even more that
you guys are going to be like, what?
Exactly.
You got to come see us on December 2nd in New York City.

Okay.
So-
So on some lighter notes-
On some lighter notes, now that we got our shit talking done, if you follow me
on Instagram, you saw that I just got a new kitten.
Lola is literally, she is just the most precious.
She is sitting on Zach's lap right now.
She is so social, like she doesn't hide.
Anytime somebody comes in the house, she runs right up to them.
She loves Cruz.
She just like curls up next to him.
She sleeps on him.
Anytime Cruz has his iPad time or anything like that, she is right beside him.
I have the cutest pictures.
Um, I really wanted to adopt Lola because Cruz loves elephants and he loves cats and
I couldn't buy him an elephant, so I got him a cat.
loves elephants and he loves cats and I couldn't buy him an elephant so I got him a cat. But like he likes the dogs but he doesn't really show the dogs that much attention like he's
just kind of like, they're there, you know, the dogs are definitely like my babies, they
are obsessed with me. They're good with their great with Cruz too but he just didn't really
ever show that much attention. But anytime he gets his iPad time, he's always finding these YouTube videos of elephants
and cats.
And at the farm in Kentucky, he loves the cats.
At Sheena's house, he loves the cats.
Like there's different places where he's been around cats and he's always just smiling and
like so excited.
So we went into the adoption agency.
It's called Heaven on Earth. It's a cat rescue and sanctuary.
So they do not euthanize or anything like that. They save all the cats that they can.
It's a great place. I also donated money there because I love what they're doing. We went
in there and I showed Cruz her and he was just jumping up and down, cracking up. Anytime
he was going up to her, he was just cracking up so happy.
And I was like, oh yeah, I'm taking her home.
So we adopted her that day and she has been the best cat.
I've had cats my entire life.
Like cats are like, I like cats more than dogs.
Like I'm going to get so much hate for that, but whatever.
Like I'm a cat person.
I love them all.
I'm a cat.
I love them all, but like I really, them all but like I really I do love cats and but like
Most cats hate most human. Yeah, they'll choose one
Maybe even if it's a couple it's like one of them, you know
It's just like cats are very particular and especially with like not around people. They'll like hide
I've never met a nicer more social cat so like immediately loves everybody and wants to just cuddle.
She is so sweet. Like I got so lucky. It was meant to be that we took her home.
Literally. She is just the best. Oh my God. I love her. And I was,
I've been like trying to call the adoption agency and even asking about her sister.
She's still there because I'm thinking about getting the sister too. I know. I was thinking
about it. I was like, should I foster her? Should I like maybe get, and then I was like, no, no, I'm not ready for it. I'm like,
But still how cute would that be if we had a sister cat? That's why I wanted to do it.
Like me and Chris and her sister or brother dogs. Like that would have been so cute. I
just love her to death. Also, whenever we were in Palm Springs, going back to Palm Springs,
I thought it was hilarious because we were getting followed by this one paparazzi lady all day long.
Can I just say the dedication of this woman to her job. I was like, you know what?
I mean, we went to like four different thrift stores and she was following us to every single
one.
Because I guess she like, we didn't know what she was trying to get from us. We were like,
but she was so, her drive, like she would
find where we were. I'm like, there's a tracker on your car. Like, I don't know how she just
got from that place to this place.
I wonder if there is a tracker on my car because they'll show up at the most random places
and I'm like, how did they know I was here?
I feel like we've got to test your car. We do, we do.
We've got to figure that out because this woman followed us for at least three hours.
Oh, at least. And then whenever I did see a photo, I was like, Oh my God, finally a
decent paparazzi photo of me. Cause anytime that I see a paparazzi pic of me, it is the
worst.
I agree with that because you do, you have some stankers.
Some stankers. I've got some stankers out there. I look way bigger than I am in real life.
It's always like me looking a weird way with my double chin hanging out or something or
I'm in sweatpants.
I saw one the other day and it was like, Britney Carrey taking out the trash after, after a
podcast.
It's always like, I'm like, why do they need this? Or what is this really
what you all want? I don't know. Here's my thing though. If paparazzi want us to be nicer,
give them for, you know, whatever. How about you make us look better? You made us look
better. We would do whatever you want. We would give you interviews 24 seven like, hello! We would eat out of the palm of your hand. We would give you interviews 24-7, like, but you make us look like shit.
Like that's why we don't want to be around you.
I think that magazines and stuff sometimes buy the uglier photos of me because they know,
or of anybody, not just me, obviously.
Like, there's a lot of people that they feel like this is happening.
But I feel like they buy those because it's clickbaity.
Yeah, it is.
Like if you see a picture of somebody looking like crap, you're more likely to look at it. It is.
But I will say it was funny because this woman kept following us around. And so we were with
my boyfriend, Benji too. And I was like, Benji, make out with Brittany right now. They need
something. I think this woman wants to find something or get a story. Like, let's give
her a story. Like, let's give her a story. Yeah, exactly. Like Benji, go make out with Brittany. I was like, we ain't doing that.
Oh my gosh. Then everybody will think Benji's my new boyfriend, not James.
Exactly. I was like, hold the heads.
Oh my gosh. What are we going to say? And then-
Oh, I was going to say, and then when, now granted, the pictures from that day,
she got perfect angle, you look great, finally,
they got some good ones of you.
But then I was like, oh wow, none of me and Benj, I was like, okay, cool.
We see where the money's at.
It's like you weren't even with me.
I'm like, that's so funny.
Brittany spends day by herself.
All over Palm Springs.
All over Palm Springs.
And then the other day after the valley shoot, me and Michelle came back to the house and
they only had me.
They didn't have Michelle.
You could see Michelle's bag.
She's like, oh, well, I guess I didn't make the cut.
I was like, same thing.
I also feel like if they, you know, they're there for one person and like, you know, I
know I'm not the, you know, the golden goose of that photo.
Like they're not, they're not using their gas to follow me around Palm Springs. They're doing it for you. So I get it. Like, you know, give me a few seasons.
Maybe I'll be there with you. Oh my gosh. We also, while we were in Palm Springs, we
went to the Trixie Motel. Do you want to tell a little bit about what that is? Guys, so
if you guys don't know Trixie Motel is a drag queen. She won RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. She is so funny. She's hilarious.
Go follow her on social media. She's just a ball. But she during or like right, I guess
after COVID, so it's like 2021 maybe, she renovated and opened a hotel called the Trixie
Motel in Palm Springs, which is on, I think it's on HBO Max.
Um, so you can watch it there, but it is just the coolest hotel. Everything's pink.
Everything's pink.
Every room is like so different and just like over the top amazing.
And so, uh, Benji had ever been and I had never been, so we're
like, we need to go to this.
We went, it was very cute.
And also they gave me some inspo for my new bar because they brought out all of our drinks. And as you, everybody probably knows, I only
will drink a straight tequila shot because I get sick if I have any mixers. I don't like
any mixed drinks. I don't really like, I don't like the way I can't do any of that stuff.
So tequila is the only thing that like doesn't make me sick. And so he brought
me out a tequila shot and it was all pink and glittery. So I went and I bought all this
like edible glitter that you can pour in your drinks so that whenever people order a tequila
shot, it'll come out sparkly and pink just like that one because that will be like a
specialty like Britney shot at Britt's bar. So whenever it opens, I just love that little touch.
And I was like, oh, I'm so taking that idea.
And should we just say that because I think someone will just do one last thing.
Someone has insinuated that they are way more involved with your bar than they are.
Are they?
No, no, no, no, no.
Perfect.
Not going to be like that. Thank you. I just wanted that to be made very clear. Thank you.
Thanksgiving is coming up. I am so excited for Thanksgiving, mainly because it's the
one time of the year I get a home cooked meal in LA. By me. By you, because I don't ever
cook and then I get to come here and experience the best home
cooking. Yes, I love to cook for Thanksgiving. It's whenever I get to shine because I cook
everything you can imagine. I'm from the South so I do all the casserole, the sweet potato,
the broccoli, the everything. Anything just add casserole or a roll behind it and that's what
it is. And I'm so excited.
I've done this every year since I've lived in LA because, well actually, I guess since
I've owned this house.
I've done it every year since I've owned this house because a lot of us in LA don't have
family here.
So anyone who doesn't have family here, I invite them to come over and we basically
just do a huge friends giving on Thanksgiving.
And if you haven't, and for anybody that's not in LA, if you ever see like news coverage
of LA during Thanksgiving, it is the worst traffic going out of the city or trying to
fly home.
Yeah.
You're probably not going to make it anyway, or you're going to be late or whatever.
It is impossible.
But the city of LA during Thanksgiving for like from Thursday through Sunday, there's
nobody.
Nobody.
It is the greatest time to stay in LA, honestly.
Because then you can drive without traffic in LA and that's crazy.
It's literally the one time a year where I'm like, okay, maybe I can stay here. Maybe I can survive.
What's your favorite dish that I make for Thanksgiving?
Um, it's the broccoli. The broccoli cheese casserole. Oh, that's probably my favorite dish too.
Because I don't know why it's so good, but mine is just so much better than everyone
else's.
I'm not even lying.
But for real.
It's probably just because all the butter I put in it, but it's so good.
It reminds me, it's because it's almost exactly how my mom makes hers.
Yeah.
So that's why I think like nostalgic wise, but also it is damn good.
That's probably my favorite thing too. I was going to say that as well. Okay. I always
ask my guests this. I've probably asked you this before, but since this is a reality TV
podcast, I wanted to bring this up to you. If you could be on any other reality show,
what would it be and why?
Well, oh God. Okay. So there's two. I. I'm gonna start with if this was 1998, I would want to be on the real world.
Yeah.
That was like, you know, that was like our childhood.
Oh my God.
You would have been great back then on the real world as you are now.
Like the real world New Orleans was my favorite season ever.
Shout out to Melissa, Danny, Julie, David, Jamie, Matt.
You still know their names. I know them all. Like they were my favorite. season ever. Shout out to Melissa, Danny, Julie, David, Janie, Matt.
You still know their names.
I know them all. Like they were my favorite. I even have their TV guide that they were
on the cover of. Like I was obsessed with them. I read Melissa's blog for years.
Oh my gosh.
Like I loved them.
I can so see you as you are now on that show then. You know what I mean?
Well, I tried out when I was 18. they came to Louisville for like an open audition and
I did end up making it through like a few rounds of casting when I was 18.
But like you're under 21, you can't drink, like they don't want you on the-
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You would have probably made it if you were 21.
Right?
That's what I think.
That's what I always like to imagine I would have made it. But if I had to do like a different one now,
I would want to be on like, what's it called?
Amazing Race, there we go.
Like something like that?
Yeah, like the challenge got too crazy.
I'm scared of everything they do.
I'd be like, you know what, just here, I'll go first out.
You're not burying me alive.
No.
I'm not getting on that trapeze thing. Eating weird things. I'm not eating a cockroach that just shit. You know what, just here, I'll go first out. You're not burying me alive. No. I'm not getting on that trapeze thing.
Eating weird things.
I'm not eating a cockroach that just shit.
You know what I mean?
Like, they're taking it too far.
The things are too extreme, so I can't do them.
So I would say like, I want to do Amazing Race.
But, Benji and Kristen have now said
that they want me on House of Villains.
Yeah, that would be hilarious.
You don't really, you're not really a villain though.
That's what I said. And then they both laughed at me and said, that's cute.
Maybe I just don't see you as a villain.
They said, you're House of Villain messy. And I was like, what? I was like, guys, if
anything, I'm traitors. And they were like, no, the traitors, you have to be calm and
collected and like, and you are not that.
And I was like so shocked that they had such like specific answers.
Oh my God.
They were like, no, you don't, you would never do trade.
You need to be on house of villains.
But I was like, God, am I, I am not a villain.
That is so funny.
Okay.
I want to go into some of these questions that people wrote in.
Yes. This is from Grace underscore Anderson.
Do you guys have any fun stories from Kentucky?
I have one.
There are so many, but I wanted us to talk about this one because it's hilarious.
Do you remember that time that Jax and I came to Louisville and Jax got on stage at play?
Cause it was for my birthday?
Yes. Oh my God. We have a video of that. I have a video somewhere. Yes. Louisville and Jax got on stage at play. Cause it was for my birthday? Yes! Yes!
Oh my God.
We have a video of that.
I have a video of somewhere.
Yes!
That was the greatest.
That's when Jax was kind of fun for a little while.
Oh, I mean, Jax, we had our good moments obviously.
I know, exactly.
We had our great moments.
We had a lot of fun together, but this was one of those funny moments.
He got on stage and it's a gay bar, for those of you that don't know, in Louisville.
Yeah, so Play Louisville is a huge gay bar and it has a massive drag stage.
So the stage is like, you know, like a full production type stage.
So it's big.
Yeah.
And then it's in an, like a kind of an auditorium and there's like people seated and then like,
but packed into this place.
Yeah.
So he got on stage and it like took his shirt off and everything.
Remember?
Dance to Genie Wines Pony? And the drag queens are cheering. The crowd
is cheering. It was funny. It was so good. That was just a funny Kentucky memory that
I wanted to bring up. Oh my God. That was so much fun. Okay. Uber one dot savings. Uh,
how has that helped support you since you left Jax?
He's looking at me like, I would like to know that.
I will say that my friends have been absolutely amazing and Zach in particular, he checks
on me all the time.
He comes over anytime I need him to.
If I'm having a breakdown or anything, he will be there in a second.
He's somebody that I can depend on no matter what.
And I love you and
I appreciate you for that so much. But he also will put me in my place if he thinks
I'm being stupid or being too nice or letting Jax have too much control of things. Like
he'll put me in my place and make me realize like, oh yeah, you're right. Like I can't
be sucked back in.
The one thing I will say is like, some people are like, oh, well he's just a yeah, I'd never
say yes. I'm like, no. If I think it's wrong. I'm like,
absolutely. Yeah, you always tell me no, even if I'm like, but I think that he needs to be blah,
blah, blah. You're like, no, Brittany. Well, and like, I feel like sometimes when you have such a
good like a close relationship with someone, because like, we're basically brother and sister.
Yeah. When I like, same with Jasmine or Kristen or whatever, when I like they would Jasmine or Kristen or whatever when I yell at you
Yeah, you know, it's because I've stayed like you've got like I feel like sometimes you need that
Yeah, it's like really gonna try to drill it in that like hey
You need to get out of this and that I might be the person that can actually snap you out
Yeah, exactly. And even if you do like yell at me and I'm doing quotations with my hands
He's doing it with a smile on his face.
It's not like he's being like, you're like, it's all out of love.
And even when I whisper, I yell.
So yes.
Let's see.
This one was funny.
I just had to put it in here.
This is from Hattie B. Cheryl.
I think that's how you say it.
Not a question, but thank God it's not another psychology lesson from Jax. Oh my goodness, we'll just laugh about that one.
I also, I just love that he's like, I went to therapy seven hours a day and Jax, you learned
absolutely zero things from those seven hours a day for 30 days.
Yep. This is a question that I want to answer because people drive me crazy on social media talking about my boobs
And I think it's kind of ridiculous for other women to constantly put other women down that needs to stop as well
We need to be lifting other women up supporting other women. You never know what somebody is insecure about themselves. So like
Constantly talking about my boobs being big
and blah, blah, blah.
So this person said, this is from HurtKK,
will you ever get your boobs done again or go smaller?
Yes, I definitely want to get my boobs done again,
but I don't know if I'm gonna have more kids.
So it is something that yeah, I am even insecure about.
I'm aware that I have big boobs.
Like it's not a surprise.
I don't need to be told every single day that I need to have a reduction and that
I look heavier because of my boobs like those things can get to a person
especially whenever you see it over and over I also like having big boobs it's
not an issue for me but after having my son they got a lot bigger and this
happens in a women woman's body Like anytime my weight fluctuates,
my breast size fluctuates as well. So like if I'm a little bit heavier, my boobs are heavier. I've
not gotten, and a lot of people even ask me if I've ever gotten, got them redone bigger. And I'm
like, no, this is the same boob job. It's just if I gained weight and after I had cruise, they got
bigger. And now until I know for a fact if I'm
ever gonna have kids again after that is over that time of my life is over I am
gonna have them redone and reduced but it's just like the constant tearing down
of other women and especially physical appearances on social media has got to
stop yeah my thing is also it's like Brittany knows what her boobs look like
or like if she's like okay yeah they're like Brittany knows what her boobs look like or like if they're she's like, okay
Yeah, they're large. I know what my hair looks like
We know our shit like guys you don't have to tell us 24 7
We get it
Aware and that question wasn't mean I'm not I'm not saying that to like go after the person that wrote in there
It wasn't a mean question
I just wanted to address it because it does get tiresome reading the same shit over and
over and over.
Like, I get it.
Okay.
Yeah.
And even though like we know we're public figures and we know that we put everything
out there so people are going to comment on anything and they, you know, not that they
have the right to, but we get it.
It's going to happen.
Yeah.
But at some point, can you give us some grace?
Exactly.
Responded. and it's like,
come on.
And we've already addressed it a million times. Like I literally, you know how on Instagram
you can put comment, like words that won't come up on your comments? I had to put the
word boobs as a word that people couldn't write on my Instagram. That's how bad it was
getting.
Well, you know what's crazy is, so when I posted the photo of me and you from Hawaii,
and we collabed on it, your filters don't go on mine. So I had a lot of these, you know,
same boots or whatever. So I have like boobs, I have all the surnames for it, melons, like
all the other things, because people were getting creative, because they were clearly
getting blocked. And then they were, well, oh, I'll do this. So then I had to put boob. Then it was like, I had to do the same
thing. It's crazy that we have to do that. Like, and then somebody will go and work that hard to
figure out what they can post just to make the comment about it. Yeah, it's it's it's crazy.
It's very crazy. And this isn't everybody. Of course, there's always a million more nice comments
and a million more supporters
We're just gossip about the shitty ones right now
them damn trolls yes
This is from J dot L underscore not a question
But please tell Zack that his Phoebe Kong tick tocks were the funniest videos ever I still I cannot believe
That went so viral on yes, can, can you say what it is just in case people didn't see it?
So basically, on TikTok, I went to Goodwill and I saw these trophies at the Goodwill and
they were all from the same girl.
It was like piano, softball, tennis, and I was like, what?
This is crazy.
Like, if my mom ever gave away my trophies, I'd be livid.
So I was like, so then I made a video that was like, hey girl, like your name's Phoebe
Kong.
I see, you know, you play tennis.
Oh my God, you're so talented.
If your mom cleaned out, I think your mom cleaned out your room.
If you want your trophies back, come to this place and get them.
It went so viral.
It got like over 20 million views, didn't it?
It's at 40 million.
40 million!
My god, your dream come true, Zach.
I was like, is it though?
I was like, wow.
No, but it was like, it was absolutely crazy.
I didn't like, you know, I expected, oh, it could be a cool video or like be funny.
No, like it went super, super viral.
And then, but now Phoebe and I like became friends.
She started a TikTok because of it.
Now her art is getting out of there.
Oh, I love that.
So like it actually turned out to be like a really cool story.
Tell people your TikTok so people can go watch it whenever they listen to this.
It's at the Zach Wickham because some damn Gen Z took it before I took Zach Wickham before I could get it.
So the Zach Wickham with a K.
With a K. Everybody's been spelling it with a H recently.
Driving him crazy.
I know.
I'm not Zatch.
I'm Zach.
I'm like Morris.
I'm going to ask one more question before we go.
This is from Trisha Caponera.
It's almost sounds like Jason and Janice last name, but it's not. It's
with an O in there.
Is this her burner account?
I don't think so. Now that Brittany is single, what has pleasantly surprised you the most
about her evolution?
It's her strength. It's the, it's her dedication to knowing that she would, to getting out of the situation
and seeing you evolve as a person and not be as like,
oh, well, Jack, you know, like I'm not gonna upset Jack
so I don't wanna, you know, overstep that you have,
like stepped into your own.
And you're so much stronger and you're on this like path
of self growth, which I think is so amazing.
Thank you.
Because you're finally being yourself instead of you and Jack.
Yeah.
Not Jackson, Brittany.
It's not exactly just Brit.
Yes.
Thank you.
I love you.
I do.
I did like what Alex Baskin said on the podcast episode that I did with him.
He said, so basically what you're saying is, is that you're changing,
but Jax didn't. And I was like, exactly. Exactly. I didn't hear, I didn't hear that part. Yeah.
That's amazing. So we'll let that soak in and I love you guys. Thanks for listening
