Everybody, welcome back to another episode of When Reality Hits.
I have one of my besties and, of course, the Valley cast member mate.
Jasmine Good.
Hey, y'all.
Thank you for having me again.
I love whenever you're on.
I love it.
And we haven't actually talked since you and Melissa got married.
I know.
It's been four months.
Four months.
I cannot believe that.
It's crazy.
13th.
And the wedding was gorgeous.
Best day of my life, y'all.
And I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding, but seriously, the most beautiful thing ever.
So beautiful.
Insane.
It was so gorgeous.
We were in Jersey.
And it was just so beautiful.
I got to be a bridesmaid, which I love bragging about.
Everybody looks so good.
Like, you have no idea.
Oh, God, it was amazing.
It was a fun day.
I mean, whenever, before your wedding, we all, what time did we get on the bus?
Like 5.30 years.
It was like, yeah, like 6.
Six in the morning.
In the morning.
I don't know.
30 at the morning.
And how many of us were there?
Okay.
So we had about 22.
Yeah.
But some of the guys weren't there, of course.
Right.
Just like the girls.
But like just show rolling up on the estate that morning, it was so beautiful.
Like everything was like peaceful and like pretty.
And we got to like take our time getting ready.
There wasn't rushing.
Everybody had their time and it was not like, I feel like sometimes in weddings.
I've been in weddings where it feels so rushed.
Right.
And like everybody's freaking out or a small room.
I felt they were just like peace.
It was.
It was a beautiful like bridal suite, I guess you would call it.
We all got ready.
Yeah.
It was so awesome.
Let's get into some like a wedding marriage questions.
When did you know Melissa was actually the one?
Man.
The moment I think I knew Melissa was like the one is honestly the first day I met her.
I met her at a bar and I was like this girl, I'm just something's drawing me to her.
I told my friend I was like, I need to know everything about her.
And then my friend was like, she had.
as a girlfriend. I'm like, oh, damn, that sucks.
Yeah. But I remember after, you know, we exchanged numbers and stuff, I was like, even though
you're in a relationship, I was like, we're going to meet again one day. I was like, you're going to be
my life and I just felt that energy. And so then flash forward when I, you know, we started dating,
I remember having a moment thinking back like, remember five years ago when we met, I said that you were
going to be my life somehow. And we were just on our date and I was like, I think she is the person
for me. And I know it's crazy to say like five years in between. Yeah. So we met each other and
then we didn't see each other.
We just got on Instagram flirting for like five years.
And then finally, you know, she came out during the pandemic.
And it was like, oh my God, I think I'm like really into this girl.
You know, she met Janet for the first time.
And I was like, Janet, this girl.
Like, I never, you know, I dated women, but like not publicly in L.A.
Right.
So I was like, I'm dating this girl now.
You're going to meet her.
And it was like, cool.
So it was like our second date.
I was just looking at her.
And I'm like, I was like, I think she may be the person for me.
After all these years, five years later, I'm still like smitten and looking at her.
her like I'm obsessed.
I always say you're like my favorite
couple. I love you guys so much
and you guys seem so strong and just so
happy and I'm so happy
for you guys. Like you guys are both
the best. Who made the first move?
Okay. Meebles always fight about this.
But I always say she did but she
says that I did. She said that I'm the first
person but I'm pretty sure
she did. I'm pretty sure she was like
not so aggressive but she was really like
trying to lay it on me.
You know, and I'm like, hey, okay, I'm here.
I'm here. Let's do it.
What was the moment during the wedding where you actually thought like, holy shit, we're married?
Because it goes by so fast and you plan for so long and then you realize like, yeah, this is real.
You like everything, it goes by fast, but it was still going slow for me at some point.
I think the moment I realized was like, wow, we're fucking married.
It was, I think after we, you know, did our vows and everything like that, we were in the,
We went up to the bridal suite to like before we do the walkout.
Yeah.
And we were just eating like some food real fast.
And I was sitting here like, we're actually married.
Yeah.
What?
Like you're my wife like officially.
Officially.
And we were just together in that moment.
We were like, oh my God, we have to go down there right now because we're married.
Yeah.
Oh, I love that.
It's cute.
You guys are so cute.
Who cried first on the wedding day?
Oh, oh my God.
You remember?
I don't remember.
I didn't get to be with you guys during your first look.
Did either of you cry for your first one?
look. First look crazy enough, we didn't cry at all.
We were kind of like so nervous about the vows and like walking down that we were like,
let's just get the first look over with and we were like, okay, good, we don't have done.
We didn't cry.
I think she cried a little bit with her dad maybe, but I think together us when we, I think
when we were doing our vows.
Yeah, I think doing the vows.
And I mean, I feel like when Melissa was walking down the aisle because you walked down
the aisle first, I think you might have already started to like tear up a little bit.
Yeah.
I was trying to hold it together.
I was like, hold it together.
But then once the vows started.
Yeah, Melissa was definitely crying.
then her vows. Yeah, I was like, okay. Yeah. It was gone. It was so beautiful.
It was a mess. Who do you think was more emotional during your vows?
Ooh, I don't, I think, I want to say, I feel like I was because there was a moment where I was
speaking about, like, you know, her mom who passed away and like talking about her parents
who were here. And I think I was more emotional in that. But, but, but I, like, going back,
I think she was too. I don't know. I kind of blacked out a little bit because I was like so nervous.
So much going on. But then I was like crying at the same time. But I think maybe I was.
I don't know.
Did it look like I was more emotional?
I remember.
I know it was crying.
She, yeah, you were too, but I feel like she was as well.
Like, I kind of feel like it was kind of equal between you two.
I think, yeah.
Yeah, she was a little emotional too.
I loved in Melissa's vows where she went back in time and talked about all the notes that she had written
about you on her phone.
That was like so sweet.
I'm getting children.
I know.
It was so sweet, right?
And she was like writing to every little moment.
I was like, oh, thank you.
Yeah, like her favorite things about you and stuff.
And then went back in time and, and like, had dates.
and like had dates like October you know 2021 or whatever year it was like she had dates and years and it was just it was such a oh it was you guys were just so beautiful both of you um did you ever did either of you feel like you were getting cold feet at all or were you just completely sure yeah there was never like cold feet I think during the process you were trying to enjoy every moment because it could stress you out yeah you could start fighting and stuff like that so there was never a cold feet it was just more like the stress right would get to it
And believe they're not, cold feet is kind of normal.
It's not because you don't want to marry.
It's because people get nervous, you know?
It's just like, honestly, stress for us.
It was like, oh, this dress, like, do we want to do this?
You kind of planned your wedding kind of fast.
We did, I know.
It was, for us, we really wanted to enjoy the process, but, you know, we really were set on a summer.
We really wanted a summer wedding.
We didn't like do it in, like, the winter.
It was either that date or we had to wait a whole other year.
Yeah.
That's kind of dragging out because we want to have, you know, kids.
I'm getting older.
I've got to have these kids.
So it's like, got to get married now.
I can't wait till you guys are moms
Oh my God, I can't wait either
You guys are so obsessed with your dog, Mesa.
I know too much.
You're going to be like, I always used to say that about Kristen
Like just even seeing her,
obviously a dog is much different than a baby.
We know this people.
But I used to always say about Kristen,
like I knew she was going to be a good mom
because she has that like nurturing, caring,
like even for her dogs, you know,
and friends and you guys both are like that too.
And most is going to be the best mom.
Yeah, you guys both are going to be.
You guys really are.
I'm excited for you all.
And I'm glad I get to be around
and like get to be with you guys
whenever you go through that experience.
Who was more involved in planning
every tiny detail between the two of you?
Okay. So Melissa was really involved
at like making the spreadsheets and being organized.
That's what she does.
She does.
She does that.
I was like more the person who's like doing the little projects,
like making the little matchbooks or, you know,
printing out the menus, things like that.
But yeah, I would say when it came to organizing, Melissa.
Right.
Me with like the creative fun little stuff.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it was so gorgeous guys.
if you haven't seen the photos.
Yeah.
And we had, they helped.
Even your wedding planner, you didn't even get to work with them until later on.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So, like, everything else was, like, little napkin details.
We had to do that with the venue, picking out, like, the silverware, the four.
It's like, every little thing, the flowers.
There was all us.
So much food.
And I'm guessing it's because of Italian.
Yes.
Is it Jersey or is the Italian?
Yeah.
Jersey wedding is number one.
Melissa is Italian.
Yeah.
Big Italian.
They love, like, food, food.
And Jersey weddings are just known to, like, have massive amounts of food.
I love that.
And that's one thing.
We're like, no one's going to leave here.
If you didn't eat, then you're still hungry, then that was on you.
I mean, before we even sat down to like our course meal, you had sushi, you had steak, you had, I mean, everything.
Like pasta bar, like, yeah.
Fritto Mito Station.
Yeah.
So many things.
It was so good.
And y'all's families, both your families are amazing.
And the way they talked about you all throughout the whole ceremony and afterwards, like Melissa's dad's speech and everything.
like it was just so wonderful.
Yeah.
And I was so glad.
I've already met your parents before,
but I got to hang out with them more.
I know.
I love that.
She loves you.
People.
Yeah.
And Melissa's,
that was the first time I really got to know them.
And they are just all wonderful people.
So I'm so happy that you guys have that.
And you're obviously so close to each other's families.
And that is so amazing.
I love that.
And that's one thing that I'm so, like, thankful because I know I look at, you know,
other people's relationship, but they don't have that with their in-laws.
Yeah.
And I'm like, thank God.
Like my in-laws.
love me. Thank God I like them.
Yeah. Some people hate their animals.
Yes. Some people hate them.
I actually like mine. Yeah, you love them.
And that's, you're so, yeah, lucky.
And the crazy thing is about you two is that you all are from the same area.
Yep. And you didn't even know each other.
Isn't that crazy?
Growing up.
She graduated with my brother.
Yeah.
My brother knew her. But my brother didn't know I was dating her.
Yeah.
So I told him.
So you had never like seen her around or anything before?
Kind of.
Yeah.
So my best friend, well, my ex best friend.
my best friend, her sister is best friends of Melissa.
That's how so I kind of, we all, me and Melissa keep going back thinking like, were you ever
at Tiffany's house and like we bumped into each other?
I was like, maybe.
Yeah, like, you guys probably passed so many times and never knew it.
But she was five years younger.
So like we were in high school and my friend were hanging out of my friend's house.
She was probably in middle like, I don't know.
So we'd, you weren't ever in high school at the same time.
Like she was like eighth grade.
You were a senior.
Yeah.
So I never saw her.
That's wild.
Who's this girl?
Like, so that's why it's weird to think that we probably cross-past.
And then you met in L.A., not even in Jersey.
Yeah, so that's another weird thing.
Well, we met earlier on like five years before we started dating in Jersey.
Oh, the first meeting.
Okay, I didn't realize that.
At a bar.
My friends, their friends with each other.
So we all met that day.
Like, you know, was it Thanksgiving weekend, you know, when it hangs out.
Everybody was home.
Yeah, so that's where I saw her.
But then five years, we just kept in contact on Instagram for five years, just like flirting and, you know, DM's like, you're so cute.
Ha-ha.
And then the pandemic.
I'm sorry, the pandemic having.
She's like, I'm coming out and I have an apartment for a month and I'm going to stay.
She's like, can I take you on a date?
And I'm like, sure.
Yeah.
Why not?
Like, and I'm like, of course, I've been waiting for this for like five years.
I've been flirting with you.
Like, we're going on a date.
And she's single now.
Yeah.
She's single at the time.
And I was like, yes, let's do this.
And then boom, change my whole life.
That's amazing.
And also the fact that you are from the same area, you get to go home and see family and
friends and have that.
And not have to worry like, oh, she lives in another country.
or whatever.
Yeah, yeah.
That's hard.
You know, so I'm so thankful.
And like I said, about that list we're talking about with the chick with the book.
Serena, yeah.
Serena, it was like, I made a list of what I wanted.
I was like, I want this.
I want that.
I want somebody who keeps me safe or makes me feel warm and, like, home, all this stuff.
Yeah.
And like, boom, it was all her.
I love it.
I do say I manifested.
What's, like, one of your favorite things that you guys do together?
Oh, cooking.
Yeah.
I love, I mean, she does mostly the cooking.
But I love, like, helping her, like, I'll chop the stuff, like, cooking with her.
play some music.
That's like our thing.
And just like activity.
She's always,
I love that she's always planning something.
Even if it's just like a game at home.
Yeah.
We'll just play like that stupid like post a game.
Like what's the number am I?
Like little random stuff like that we do.
I love playing games with you guys.
Yeah.
Like for people who don't know,
Jasmine sometimes will stay with me because obviously they go back between Jersey
where their family are and L.A.
and she had to switch apartments.
Yeah.
So in the middle of that,
Jasmine and Alyssa came in.
Jasmine's kind of a couple times.
Stay with her.
Yeah.
Jasmine came a couple times by herself when Melissa was working and couldn't come.
But this time you guys both got to stay with me.
So I got to see your relationship like firsthand and we got to play games.
We did.
If you guys see like on TikTok, it's everywhere or Instagram reels and stuff where you draw like really fast and then try to go back and remember.
We were doing those.
We were playing hang man.
Yeah.
That's just like we love doing games.
Yeah.
And I love that stuff too.
And honestly, being a couple, I think it's really nice to connect.
like, you know, you spend so much
day she works all the time and then like, we're filming
like we have to make sure we come together.
Even it's like, okay, let's do something.
So that's why cooking has always been like a cool little out.
You always have to have like your little relationship time,
even when you're busy.
And I love that.
And I was telling them like, stay is with me as long as you want.
I know, but he's like, can you move in?
I was like, don't leave me.
I would.
Yeah, and they have their dog, me, so too.
And like, I have three dogs.
So we had a house full of animals and a cat.
And it, but it was just like so awesome.
and you guys were just are so easy to live with.
And I was like joking around with it.
I was like,
it's probably because they're two girls.
Like you didn't have like a husband there.
You're like,
you're not a man that's bothering me.
Get out of here.
Exactly.
And I loved it.
I was like,
don't leave me.
I know.
I was like,
I do want to stay.
Yes.
And I was like,
you guys don't know how like I know you think that like I was doing you a
favor because you were like saying with me.
But like you guys were doing me such a huge favor because I was going through so much.
And I'm honestly happy we're there for you.
Yes.
And it was like you all.
able to get my mind off of things, put things into perspective, like, lift me up.
And, yeah, and I just, I'm going to cry almost.
I was like, I'm getting a host because at first we were like, just get a hotel, Airbnb for like a little bit.
And then all the stuff was going down.
I was thinking, I was like, no, I'm going to reach out to Brittany.
No, I think she, something was telling you.
You needed me.
Yeah, I remember, like, something's telling me.
She's pulling.
Yeah.
And then when I called and you were like, no, stay with me.
And I was like, okay.
Yeah.
And thank God I did.
I was so glad.
All kinds of stuff happened.
You know, we're not going to talk about it.
but like and you guys were there to like for me to lean on and yeah and i you'll never know
how much that will mean to me for like the rest of my life why i feel like i'm gonna get emotional
i felt i felt like you needed somebody too and that's why i was like i'm just gonna text her
and see and then like you're like i'm just happy we're there for you melissa she's like i'm so
happy you're here for her doing this so happy and you guys are just such wonderful friends to me
and Melissa is so like a level head not that you are but she's like no she's like no she is
You know?
Yeah.
Like, me and you are like more like,
yes.
I don't know how to explain us.
We're more like, we feed off each other's energy.
Yes.
We're more like, we're like, I say we like, we speak fast.
We just kind of like, you know, go for it.
Melissa's more like, okay, let me think about this process.
It's like calculated.
Let's think about it this way.
Logistics.
Yes.
Like she is definitely a person who will give us the right thing to say.
Yeah.
Think about it this way.

And I'll never forget, we had pool days almost every day because it was during the heat wave and it was so hot.
And we were swimming at night.
and Melissa, like, made me cry in the pool
because she was like, I just want you to know,
well, I'm going to be emotional in this podcast.
Go right.
But she, I just, like, want her to know how much this meant to me too
because, like, remember, she, like, looked at me.
She was like, I just want you to know, like,
us staying here with you for a week.
Like, I see, like, how good of a mom you are to cruise.
Yeah, because I always see that.
And I have mom guilt, and I doubt myself sometimes, you know,
with everything going on.
And even though I know I do everything I possibly can,
and he is thriving and he is doing so well.
Like, it just meant so much to me to, like, hear it.
And, like, it, like, really got me out of the funk that I was in.
Because I always told her that.
I was like, you don't, you know, you know, be filmed.
We're friends like that like that.
But staying with you and, like, when I, the first time I saved you and I told her, I was like, you should, I don't
understand.
Like, Brittany, like, such incredible, incredible mom.
People don't really see what actually she's going with her day to day.
And so Melissa, when she stayed this time, she was like, that's why she's like, I totally
get it.
I see, like, people, you know, you were doing such an amazing job at Cruise and, like,
I wish people could see, like, more of that, you know, like, the deeper.
They see on a show, but, like, different.
It's different when you're, like, staying.
It's not just, like, a little blimp on the show.
You know, not, I mean, I don't know if you just say blimp, but it's not just like a little section.
Like, that's my every day.
And I just, like, that just meant the world to me.
Like, because that's the most important thing in my wife.
So hearing that, like, validation, whatever I was going through so much, like, it was just, like, amazing.
And you guys both did that.
But, like, Melissa was really just, like, it was just, it was just,
so sweet. Hopefully she'll listen to this
and hear me gassing her up.
She's like, thank you, Rick. Oh my gosh.
Okay, let's get back to the wedding
a little bit. What was the biggest wedding
planning argument that you had?
Ooh, wedding planning.
You guys even argue? Yeah. Okay.
Well, you guys have never argued in front of me.
See, that's one. I think one thing
about us, we respect each other
so much. I'm never going to like,
like, we'll bicker at all in front of people.
Like, don't do that with people. But I've never even seen that.
But we're not, like, I feel like we don't take it to a
level like I see some couples do.
Right.
It's more of like a respect thing.
But we do bicker and argue.
Which is normal.
We just don't take it to low.
If you didn't argue sometimes, I know, like as long as it's not toxic, which you
guys obviously aren't, it would be kind of boring.
Yeah.
Exactly.
No, we get moments where we argue, I'm like, all right, well, I'm going in the bedroom.
And then two seconds later, I'm like, okay, I'm kind of over it now.
I mean, like, I'm thinking about the wedding.
Yeah.
Was there anything that you guys disagreed on?
which obviously it was beautiful, perfect.
So let's laugh about this stuff.
You know, for me, I was kind of like go with the flow of everything.
I think one thing we kind of like kind of argue it a little bit was like having the rehearsal
dinner because at me, my mind I was like, I don't want this big thing.
And she's like, well, I want to have this.
You know, we have to have this and this.
And I'm just like, to me, I was like, it's getting out of control, you know?
But she's like, no, we have to do it the right way.
So little bickering off of things like that.
But we really fought like hard on anything.
Yeah.
Like nothing that you really disagreed on.
Um, not really, maybe, okay, maybe the food, because there was certain, there were so many options.
And I was like, well, I want this. Yeah. I was like, I really want, like, you know, we had to pick like either the steak or certain type of fish.
And I'm like, well, I like this sea bass. And she's like, well, the good thing is you're the bride. You can get whatever you want. And I was like, you know what? You're right. So did you like a little platter of like everything on your plate?
Oh, I did. I did that. I had the steak, sea bass. I did that for my wanting.
I didn't eat it all, but I was like, I wanted it all.
I did the same thing.
I made sure, like, my plate had something of everything.
You know, everyone else had to pick one thing.
But, like, the bride or groomed, the bride's like,
you have to have a little bit of everything on your plate
because you deserve that.
Because you're paying for all.
I was like, I want everything, okay?
I'm so mad.
I want to go back to something.
Yes.
What was your favorite part about the wedding that nobody watching would know?
Oh, my favorite part.
I would say,
Oh, there were so many parts.
So many.
There were so many parts.
Oh, my gosh.
I think one moment for me, like, there was just so many.
But I think when everybody, we all came in and did, like, the welcome, like,
dancing and just dancing, I was just, like, so happy in that moment and, like, seeing all my friends,
not just people who were at the wedding, but, like, just, like, everyone in the wedding party.
Just, like, jamming out, especially because we got ready all day.
Yeah.
We were in this, like, you know, ready to do it.
And, like, that moment for me was so happy.
I was like, oh, my God, this is it.
We got married.
That was a beautiful moment.
And I'm with all my friends.
We're just dancing to like my favorite song.
Yeah, that was a good moment.
That was a good moment.
Yeah, there was so many.
That was such a great moment.
What, was there anything that went completely wrong that you had to laugh about afterwards?
Oh my gosh.
My makeup artist.
Oh, yeah.
Everything was good.
But the makeup, like at the time I was like, oh my God.
Tell what happened.
Okay.
So my makeup artist, we flew him out from L.A.
And he, I guess, lost his makeup or the airline.
The airline lost his makeup.
They told him he couldn't check it.
They told him he couldn't.
bring on the plane so he had to check it so he's like okay
I don't want to do this yeah but
they said everything's going to be fine he gets to
Jersey makeup is gone
and it's literally sick he's like freaking out he didn't tell me
six in the morning he said or five in the morning he's like calling all his
friends in New York who are makeup artist trying to find
a makeup makeup so he's got all these people sending him makeup
and so we saw him that morning I was wondering why his eyes were ready I think he
was crying oh my gosh and he didn't tell me until after he did my makeup
and he's like but he's so talented like I know he would have
been fine but walking in I remember seeing his makeup on the table and I was like where's his box?
Like being flown out to do a wedding. That's why he was stressed and like he knows how important that
day is. I'm sure he was freaking out. I remember him talking with me about it and he was like,
yeah, but they just didn't put it on the plane. I was like, are you kidding me? He found it right after.
Yeah, he got it back, but it was back in L.A. But my thing is like, I was like, freaking out because
I was like, wait, I paid for you to come out here and you didn't have the makeup. But honestly,
I'm glad he didn't tell you until after. I would have flipped out. Yeah. I would have
Like, that's the thing.
Like, nobody wants to, like,
tell any drama to the brides, you know?
And it's good.
I'm thankful he did that, but I should have known the signs.
I was like, why does his makeup look different?
Like, where's his box?
I'm so used to his, like, makeup.
But it's also funny, like, that that happened.
Now it's part of your story.
And now I just laugh.
I'm like, okay, honestly, I will take that before, like,
something crazy.
Exactly.
To me, that's fine because he's talented.
Obviously, like, everyone says,
I don't know if this is true,
but, like, everything goes completely perfect.
You're, like, it's, you know,
one of those like
yeah yeah yeah like if everything goes perfect perfect perfect perfect your marriage is
gonna be perfect perfect perfect perfect so you have to have something that was a little
that's a little slip I mean I'm sure there was I'm trying to think anything else that was crazy
honestly everything just seemed so perfect to me yeah sure there was stuff that happened and I don't
know the back end exactly but it was great yeah it was great yeah it was great I don't know if
you remember at the end but you couldn't find your oh my god yes I was freaking we finally
found it but jasmine was freaking out because didn't have like a brooch from your grandmother
Yeah. At first I was like, screw it. I don't care of losing the flowers.
Before I had my grandmother's like little brooch pen, like her blessing that she carried with her.
And it was my mother just gave it to me the day of. And my grandmother, you know, passed away.
So I don't have really much anything from her. And I'm like, I could not lose this.
I was like, I just got it today. I'm like crying on the bus.
You were crying. I was like, fine. That was your only like meltdown. And I was there to like help you calm down.
I just like didn't want to talk to anybody. Yeah. But that was at the end.
It's fine. It's fine. And then I guess.
Who picked it up? Somebody picked it up.
Was it Sheena?
Somebody put it on it.
We had like transportation buses from the venue back to the hotel and it ended up being on another
bus.
Yeah, I was like, why would y'all take?
Because it's like they left Melissa's but not mine.
Yeah, and we had Melissa's.
Yeah.
Oh my God, my heart.
We found it.
We're all good.
Found it.
Everything was perfect.
Everything was great.
Oh my gosh.
Was there anybody that was at the wedding that you were worried about, like was going to
cause a scene or, you know, would just be a bad wedding guest?
I mean
No
I honestly felt like
Everybody is grown
And they're smart
And they would not come here
To act out
You know
But of course there's some people
You are wondering
Like is this person going to come
Correct
Yep
But I think the only thing
That happened
Which we won't go into
Was after the wedding
Was already over
I think after the wedding is when people started
Because everybody was like tipsy by then
Yeah
But I think at the wedding
No one did anything crazy
No at the wedding
Nobody did
After
People turned up a little
bit. Yes.
Yeah.
Which I'm sure you guys watched
the reunion so we don't have to talk
about that. But it was different than how it was shown.
I think that's one thing. I'm like, come on.
Like, that kind of bothered me because I'm like,
I had other guests like coming to me
telling me what actually was going down.
Exactly. And I know people like, well, why do you talk
about this again? We weren't just making it up.
Because I didn't know. I'm like, because people are nice.
They're not going to just tell you right away.
People other than like me or somebody
that heard it. Oh, yeah. I'm talking about guests.
That were staying. Yeah. You didn't hear about that
until after they said.
saw it on the reunion.
Exactly.
And I just come to me and like, oh, well, actually, yeah, but I didn't want to say anything to you.
Yeah.
They wouldn't until they saw it, you know.
Exactly.
Yeah.
But everything at the wedding, again, was perfect.
It was after.
It was great.
After a party.
After hours.
Yes.
Who took longer to get ready between you two?
Oh.
I feel like because we all are all ready together.
Yeah.
I think Melissa's hair took longer.
Yeah.
Because she's very particular on like how she wanted her updo.
Updue.
Yeah.
So I think she took.
took longer on the hair.
But I think we were kind of like even on the...
Yeah, everything went so smoothly.
Even all of us were ready in time.
Yeah.
They were...
She was like, next to the chair.
Yes.
And I will say, your wedding hair was my favorite hair that I've seen on you.
Like the old Hollywood lamb.
And it just stayed the entire wedding.
I was so surprised.
I was, that was kind of hot.
It was hot and I was nervous that like the dancing.
Yeah.
It stayed all the way through.
Even at night, like in the after party.
I was still.
I'm happy.
Perfect.
I know.
Shout out to Pose Beauty.
Yeah.
They did great.
I loved my hair that day too.
Everybody looks, I swear.
And I love that we let everybody just do what they wanted.
I didn't want to be like, you got to have a bun.
Yeah.
Because not everybody.
I want you guys to feel good.
And you just send us a link with a million different black dresses.
We did, I sent you mine and y'all didn't even say like, oh, I like it or nothing.
Y'all were just like, pick what you want.
Because I want people to feel comfortable.
You're already flying out to Jersey and like being, I've been a bridesmaid.
Sometimes the dresses are not cute.
I'm like, this is not flattering my body.
Yeah.
Everybody in the party has different body shapes.
And black looks good on everybody.
Exactly.
You could pick what you like.
You want a slit.
You want to split.
You want topless.
Do what you want.
Not topless.
Sorry.
I don't know.
I say topless.
Topless.
I mean, strapless.
If you wanted to be topless at my wedding, go for it.
I love that.
What is some advice now that your wedding is over that you would give a brides, bride and groom, groom, groom,
you know, whoever's getting married, something, what is like a big piece of advice that you would give to someone who's about to get married?
I would say, one.
enjoy every step of the process.
Even if it's something so simple,
like don't get stressed out
over the little details.
I was so worried about like,
I don't have enough matchbooks for everyone to take
when no one even probably took them.
I think I did.
I mean, I was so stressed about like, wait,
I only have 200.
I mean, you know, so don't stress out
on those little details because it's really not going to matter.
Yeah.
That date, once it starts, like,
no one's caring about like the color of your napkin
is off from like the flowers that you get.
Yeah.
Like, just little details.
I mean, yes, it's important to you because it's your wedding and you're thinking.
But don't let it drive you crazy.
Yeah.
Don't let it drive me crazy because I think it was driving me crazy.
And I was like, no, the napkins that we got the bar.
That green is a little off.
And I almost reordered them because I was so stressed about it.
I didn't even notice that.
And exactly.
Yeah.
I was just like, Jasmine is a napkin.
It's going to be on the bar.
And everything was kind of more white.
Yeah.
It was like news and stuff.
But I was so worried about the green.
To me it was a little off.
Yeah.
No, I need to reprint.
I need to reprint.
And it was too small.
I thought.
So like I was driving myself crazy.
So don't drive yourself crazy on those little things.
Little tiny details.
No one's going to pay attention to.
I don't think either one of you guys were a Bradzilla.
But if you had to choose between the two of you, who was a bigger Bradzilla?
Honestly, I was saying, mate Melissa.
Yeah.
I know people, I'm more laid back.
Melissa's very like.
She's more like structured.
Yeah.
Like.
So she was not that you're not, but you know how she is.
She was like, okay.
Yeah.
She was worried about her hair making sure, like little details like that for her.
So I would say she was more the bridezilla for sure.
But you guys, neither one of you guys were, actually.
Yeah, I don't think about that raging crazy.
What was, like, the funniest memory that you have from the reception?
Oh, the funniest.
One of your favorite moments.
Oh, man.
I'll say, I loved whenever you and, like, the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders.
Oh.
What is the dance that you all did?
The Thunderstress.
Yeah.
We weren't going to do it.
That was, like, fine.
Like, my friend Jessica was like, we'll just play the song and we'll just, like, bounce around, but not do the full because we didn't have our pom-poms or anything like that.
Yeah.
Because, like, three of the girls.
couldn't make it.
So I was like, we're not going to do it with like just four of us.
That's weird.
But then once that song came on, we're like, all right, we got to do it.
Kick line.
Here it comes.
I think that was cool.
And I loved, like, we all know that you've been on a million TV shows.
Dallas Cowboys cheerleader was one.
The Bachelor was another.
And then obviously the Valley.
And it was funny because we did like little TikToks.
And it was like, the Bachelor, people from the Bachelor against like the Valley.
And we were like, that one that's like.
Like, who are you?
I'm the owner of this house.
Yeah, I'm the owner of this house.
Who are you?
We did that, like, acting like, I love the name of Jasmine.
That was like, honestly, that was, I loved having, like, two of my worlds come together.
Yeah.
And another fun thing that people don't know.
Well, they know now, but the Knicks won that day.
Yes.
Yeah.
That was.
That was huge for you guys.
I'll never forget.
That was, like, the best.
And way to end the night.
Yes, that was such a great way to in.
And you guys had your cute Knicks jacket ready.
I know.
I mean, go get that jacket.
it. That was just great. Did you even throw bouquets at the wedding? No. Okay. I didn't think so. I actually wanted to keep it. Yeah. Because I wanted to get preserved. I want to do that thing. And you should. For people listening, though, a good tip is if you throw a bouquet, don't throw your real bouquet. Have like a smaller one made. If you want to do that, you don't have to do every single tradition. But if someone is listening and is about to get married, that is a good idea. Oh, get a fake one. Yeah. I don't think about that. Yeah. Yeah. Every like, nah, let's next. You know, get that out of it. It doesn't have to be.
Real flowers.
Like, you know what I mean?
Because it was, yeah.
And honestly, a lot of, everyone at our wedding was mostly married.
Like, a lot of our friends are married.
So I was like, I was like single solo.
He was like, I want to catch it.
I would have thought for that.
Okay.

If you can relive one five-minute moment from the wedding, which one would it be?
Ooh.
I think this is a moment that was just between me and Melissa.
when you guys were all getting ready inside,
we just took a moment when we were done and went out
and we were just standing there, like, on the grounds,
like where the swing was and everything
and just, like, took a moment together
and just, like, took it all in.
No one was out there.
And it was just me and her.
And I was like, wow, baby, we did it.
Like, we're actually getting married.
Like, you know, after all this time, like, we're doing this.
And, like, you know, being on this day
where her dad built was like, oh, we were having this whole, like,
moment to ourself.
And I thought, that was so special.
I want to, like, go back to that.
It was such a good feeling.
Yes.
And it's crazy because you plan and playing and playing and plan and it's so wonderful and then it's over and it's like so, you know, it wasn't fast because it, I kind of like that we woke up so early because it made the day even longer worth it.
But like to have that moment with her, I think that was so special because it was like we were just with everybody all morning and like finally we got to sneak away and just together and just like look at, you know, the grounds and see everything and just take it in.
I think that was really special.
I love that moment.
When you saw Melissa's dress because you guys did not show each other your dresses until you did your first look, even though.
you guys got ready together during the day,
but you didn't see each other in your dresses until that
final moment. Did you
like in your head was Melissa's dress
kind of what you were thinking? Yes.
I know her and I
know like her style and I knew she wasn't
going to have like a pig poofy dress
or anything like that. I knew she was going to be like sleek,
classy, like sexy and elegant.
So it was perfect and she just looked,
dropped that gorgeous. I was like, this is what I
envisioned. Okay. Both of you guys had such
beautiful dresses and yours was more like
princess. And it like, it was so good together. And I honestly think they worked. And I was so nervous
about that. They worked good together. I was telling my mom, anytime we went dress shopping, I was like,
please don't. I'm like, don't tell me Melissa's dress, but does my dress look like it could work with
her? Your mom did whenever we, you know, they saw on the valley, we went dress shopping.
Your mom was telling me kind of like what it looked like so that we knew. So you didn't go
like too crazy outside of it. But you ended up not getting any of those dresses.
similar because at first I was thinking of getting more of a satin like kind of like hers but a little
proof and I was like thank God I didn't yeah looked so good in the photos yours was awesome I love the
sleeves and yeah it was both of you guys just looked absolutely put it back on gorgeous
just wear it on the house yeah I'm gonna wear it I'm an open open the season yeah okay let's do a
quick little who's more likely married edition ooh who's more likely to forget an anniversary
me you yeah uh I know it's so bad just
because my ADHD.
Put a reminder.
I know.
I have it now.
Who spends more money?
Melissa.
Melissa?
I would not realize that.
She is an Amazon queen.
Just like me.
Yes.
Every day.
New package.
Who is messier?
Me.
You?
Who gets jealous?
Oh, Melissa.
Melissa.
Who plans the dates?
Oh, I would say Melissa.
Melissa.
She's more the activity type of day.
Yeah, she is.
They're getting ready to go on a trip and they have all this hiking gear.
and I'm cracking me up.
She's ready.
She's a planner.
I love it.
Who falls asleep first?
Melissa, I'm a night owl.
Yeah, it's hard for me to go to sleep.
Who's more stubborn?
Mm, Melissa.
Melissa?
Yes.
Who's more likely to say, I told you so?
Melissa.
Who would survive longer on a deserted island?
Melissa.
Yeah.
Who would win an argument with absolutely no evidence?
Ooh.
With no evidence?
You.
I think me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'm winning that one.
I think so too.
Who is more likely to renew their vows first?
Like want to renew your vows?
Yeah.
Probably Melissa.
She's very sentimental.
She loves it.
She's very like that.
Yeah.
Who is secretly the boss of the marriage?
Melissa.
Oh my gosh.
I don't people think it's me.
Like I'm like so loud.
I'm like, yeah, jazz is running it.
No, actually Melissa is the secret boss.
Oh my gosh.
I love that.
That is so funny.
I just want to ask you just a couple fun questions before I let you go.
We're going to talk about our friendship a little bit.
Okay.
Was there ever a moment where I really showed up for you as a friend that you'll never forget?
Oh, yeah.
Damn, I got to think.
A moment where you showed up with that I'll never forget.
Damn, why am I drawing a blank?
Guys, I know.
It's here.
I'm just trying to think.
Keep, hold on.
I'm sure there has been.
You've showed me so many different ways, you know, and I think I would say, like,
maybe just not a moment I could find, but I think when I'm going through, like, you know,
anything like when we talk about, like, our friendship, like, different dynamics in the group.
Yeah.
I feel like you have always been, like, a positive light that I, you know, needed or if I feel
like not, like, worthy, you always like, you're on the show.
Like, remember season one, like, season one where I felt I didn't feel like, not say I belong here,
but it felt like, you know, we were getting, like, overlooked or something.
You were new to Bravo.
And you're like, Jasmine, you worked just as hard to be here as anybody else.
Like, you belong.
And I was like, thank you, Brittany.
For you to say that, like, just make you feel good.
So, like, little things like that.
I love you.
I love you.
What do you think makes our friendship work so well?
I feel like we're just, we flow.
Yeah.
I think we flow.
We don't, I think we are honest with each other.
And I feel like we, like I said, the uplifting.
I feel like we both need that.
Yeah.
And we just have this good, like, back and forth.
We do.
And it's just like a good energy.
Like, you know, we don't judge each other.
Like, I also think we, um, we like rev each other up sometimes.
Yeah.
It meaning like past times filming like on the valley different seasons.
Now do you say that exactly.
You know what I mean?
You know what I mean?
Like we're like, like we feed off each other's energy because we think a lot of life.
Yes.
Yeah.
We think a lot like and we like get each other like route up in a good way.
In a good way.
Not a bad way.
I think we make each other feel like, okay, you're not stupid for feeling that way.
I'm not stupid for feeling that way.
Exactly.
sometimes you can make us, especially in this group,
could make us feel like we're stupid for feeling that way.
And I'm like to check you.
I'm like, no, Brittany, we're not dumb, okay?
We're here on the same page.
And we're on the same page.
So I think we're good with like making sure we are like, I guess like reminding each other.
Right.
We got the goods.
What is one of the most chaotic nights that you think we've had together?
Oh, God.
On the show or off the show?
Anytime.
Oh, my God.
Chaotic nights.
Oh, my God.
I kind of think it was us in Santa Barbara.
I was just going to say that because we were so lit and we got each other like
souped up.
Yeah.
And that's one thing.
Like, you two just get each other.
Like, why are you doing that?
Like, you shouldn't be getting your.
And Melissa will like come behind you and be like, it's okay.
It's like grabbing me, you know?
And we're like, no.
I'm like, no.
It's more like that we're feeding off of it.
Like Britney's, I'm like, yep, go in there, Brittany.
You're right.
You're not wrong.
When really I should be like, Brittany, don't do that.
Like come back.
And I think maybe, is that a problem?
Is that like toxic?
Are we toxic friends?
No, we're not.
Where I'm like, go get it, Britney.
We always end up positive.
You know?
Yeah, but I think, what I mean?
Because Zach has pointed out to me.
He's like, you and Brittany, you just like kind of rally each other up.
Like, you guys shouldn't do that.
I'm like, what?
Because she's right.
I think she's right that she should go in there and say something.
Maybe our toxic.
We shouldn't do that.
I'm like, go in there and do it.
No, because we're on the same wavelength.
Yeah.
I'm like, that's just fun.
Yeah.
Okay.
Let me ask you a couple questions to see how well you know me.
Okay.
Okay.
I hate these.
What do you think is my biggest pet peeve?
Oh my God.
Your biggest pet peeve?
Like with men or just like with life?
There's a million.
So if you get any of them right, okay.
If you get any of them right, it counts.
Okay.
If you're, okay, I know you loved your house to smell good.
So of your house is smelling good.
Yeah.
I'm obsessed.
Like that's her thing.
Yes.
I'm always spraying like the couch.
The house has got to smell.
Yeah.
Does that answer?
Yeah, that's true.
What would you think my biggest comfort food is?
Oh, crab legs.
Oh, I love crab legs.
Yeah, those would be my talk too.
Buffalo wings, probably from hooters and crab legs.
Like, definitely.
My biggest ick.
Oh, my God, we were just talking about this.
Yeah.
Not having good shoes.
Yeah, that's one of them.
I know that.
Oh, what's another one?
I guess, like, well, I mean,
I don't want to talk to dating.
Yeah.
Like, you know, people that are rude to.
Yeah.
Hate that.
Anyone in the service industry at all.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I think those are only the top too for me, I think.
What do you think I'm most likely to spend way too much money on?
Oh, my God.
Shoes, clothes.
Shoes.
Yeah.
She has so many damn shoes.
I'm like, you don't need anymore.
Oh, my gosh.
What's my most annoying habit?
I'm letting you call me out.
I know.
I don't know, should I say it?
I don't know if I don't care.
What do you think it is?
What annoys you?
My annoying habit.
Oh, your annoying habit.
Yeah.
Like, I know I don't annoy you.
No, you don't annoy you.
But what is a habit that you say that I do?
Tell me.
That annoys me.
See, you don't really annoy me.
That's the thing.
Yeah.
I don't really get, like, annoyed by you.
I would say, if I had to say one thing, your annoying habit would be maybe, maybe, actually, you don't annoy me, Brittany.
Is that crazy?
I really don't.
No, I love that.
You don't like, you don't.
You don't like,
me.
Like, you know, some people, there's things like they talk too loud are like, oh, but you don't
actually annoy me at all.
Hey, I love that answer.
Like, and I'm being dead ass serious.
Like, I know people are like, that's a cop out answer.
No, but you really don't annoy me.
Yeah.
I feel like there's, there's nothing that sticks out to me around like, oh, Britney does this.
It's so annoying.
Hey, I'll take it.
I think I like fidget with my nails and my hand a lot.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So I do it.
But I, like, pick my nail.
Like, I notice that I do.
do that. That doesn't bother me. You know, so many people at the reunion this year, whatever.
Did it bother them? No, Kristen was like, I guess we were talking about something that has to do with
like something in my past and it probably made me super anxious and whenever I'm anxious or even just
if I'm just like doing stuff. I fidget and Kristen goes, look at Britney's hands and everyone was like,
why did Kristen say look at Britney's hand? It's probably just because I was fidgeting my hands.
But that's something I would never think of because I do it. That's why why. That would not annoy me
at all.
Do you know who my celebrity crushes?
I have a couple.
I know.
I was going to say wait.
But can you think of one?
Oh, Michael B. Jordan.
Yep, he's one of them.
And who's that other guy?
I'm so bad with names.
This is awful.
Damn, who is that other guy?
No, I don't know.
I was going to, I know Michael B.
Jordan is one.
Tom Hardy's one.
Oh, Tom Hardy?
Really?
I love, I fell in love with him in that Reese
Witherspoon movie where it was like,
him and another guy were fighting over her.
I forget what it's called.
She ended up picking the other guy and I was like, I would have picked Tom Hardy.
I mean, he is hot, I guess.
Yeah, he is hot.
I know, Maggie Jordan.
You have sex.
Remember you told me that?
I was like, ew, I don't like him.
Well, I met him in person and he was just beautiful.
And I was just like, oh, I got to work at the Coachella, that big party that they have.
A Zenyard.
No, it's like lights and stuff.
Oh, neon carnival.
Yeah.
I was thinking lights.
I couldn't think of neon.
I that's whenever I used to do catering and stuff and I got to be a VIP and he was at my table and he was kind of flirty but I was like in love I was you know in love and in a relationship so I didn't give it nothing I'm like damn it I should have I should have passed with Michael Beecher. Lord. Okay what if you could be on you know I ask these two questions every time I wish I could talk to you more because I have so many questions for you but I'm glad we got to talk about the wedding because it was beautiful if you could be on any reality TV show what would it be I know you've had to answer this because you've been on this million
Sometimes, I would say probably Project Runway, but I want to be like a guest to wear the outfits.
Okay.
So you want to be a model.
Yeah.
Just for the day.
Yeah, just for the day.
Because I don't think I can model, but I love the outfits.
Yes, you could.
I'm obsessed with that show.
Yeah, that's a good show.
Who is your favorite reality TV star if you had to pick one?
Ooh, I mean, I say this every time, but I live New York.
Yeah.
Duh.
She is hilarious.
She is hilarious.
Tiffany.
Yeah.
Amazing.
She is so funny.
I see clips of her still to this day
and I just cracks me up.
Yeah, she is hilarious.
She's like, I'm going to pull this wig off and I got naps.
Her personality is just wild in the best way.
She is golden reality TV.
She does not care.
I mean, I need to be on one of those like game shows with her.
Yeah, I would love it.
Yeah, I would love it.
And hopefully she would like us because if not she would be terrifying.
I wanted to see her in action to her.
But if she didn't like you, I would hate to be on that end.
You know what I mean?
Oh my gosh, that would be terrifying.
She's so iconic.
