Everybody and welcome back to another episode of When Reality Hits. I have a very special guest on this week. I'm so excited. It's my best friend for over 30 years. Yeah. Kara Tabor. Bally. Bally.

Forget. I forgot. She's married. Same. Same. But still, Kara Tabor for over for me. Just because that's what we grew up. up with.

Kara Bali. We are here in New York City. Kara now lives in Las Vegas. So she flew out to be here in New York with me because it's been a very, very, very emotional week. But today we're recording this on Wednesday. My People magazine interview dropped today. And I just finished doing Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

So I knew a lot of stuff was going to be. hard. I was going to have a lot of anxiety. I was going to be, you know, in my feelings, emotions going up and down with everything dropping with all the opinions and everything else. So I was like, who better to be with me on this day other than Kara? And I'm so glad I could be here. It's been such a great day. I'm so glad that you are here. Like, we were still able to have so much fun. It was so relaxing, too, surprisingly. Yeah. We flew in yesterday. We went to dinner last night at, how do you say it? Zoy. Zoui Mediterranean. Yeah. So good. It was so good. It was just her and I having a good little girl's night. We came home and I gave Kara Unisome and I should not have done that

because I was wanting to watch Declosure Day, Disclosure Day, Disclosure Day, Disclosure Day. And Kara fell asleep immediately. So I watched the entire movie by myself. I fell asleep because of the Unisom I kept on waking up at some of the scariest parts and then I'd see it. And I'm like, what the hell are be watching looking at her and like are you still awake are you still okay and she would wake up randomly and ask me what's happened and i'm like girl there is too much in this movie to explain to you at this moment what has happened like you have to watch it that's a good a really good movie i don't get much sleep so i took advantage of that yeah we both have boys yes and um whenever we get to sleep we sleep because we're busy gals yeah except for last night i was had so much anxiety about the

article coming out about the watch what happens live and I was just tossing and turning all night long. And now that it's all over. It's like it went so good and so smooth. Yeah. You just looked so good. Thank you. It was just like flawless. It was just effortless for you. Like you went through the day even though you had such a stress one night and you didn't sleep. You just, I can't even explain seeing you look the way you did today and just have a confidence that you did today. I'm going to cry and think of it. Oh, thank you. You just did so good. I did feel a lot more. confident tonight. You know, I just felt so much better and I feel so strong in what I'm talking about because I'm speaking the 100% truth. Right. And whenever you know, you're not lying or even like smudging the anything about it. You don't have to remember what you're saying. Yeah. Like I, I only spoke about facts that I have receipts for. So I'm not going to talk about this too much because I did the article about it. I did watch a lot about it. I don't want these people living

rent free in my head anymore. Some of the things that are, I'm not. Some of the things that, do bother me though is whenever a lot of people are like oh well you know you deserved it or you know you knew what he was like you knew this like i'm like okay google narcissistic abuse google love bombing google manipulation google i could go on and on and on and i've said it before like i'm glad that these people don't know what that feels like you know the people that don't understand it it's so hard to get over and then having somebody who i thought was a close friend to me not only that was employed by me, do what she did, especially after I was finally starting to get my sparkle back. I know a lot of people are tired of that, but it's the truth. I was finally starting to get my

sparkle back and then this happened. And it was just like, my God. And I just want to make it clear again, I've said it over and over again, but people keep on thinking that this is about my ex. It's not about my ex. It is about what she did to me because I don't expect anything better. You do not care what's going on with him. You haven't cared about what's going on with him since the moment you said you were separating with him. I haven't at all. It's about what she did, not about what he did, because we all expect this behavior from him. I never in a million life years.

I mean, I haven't trusted her in a long time. Yeah. Well, you were one of my friends that saw through it whenever I couldn't. But you were also in it and you did, she wasn't manipulating me or telling me certain things or like trying to convince me of anything. She was convincing you of things. Yeah. So that's different. But I mean, I wouldn't trust her.

Yeah. Anything. And, you know, that was the first time with the people interview that I spoke about it at all. there were a lot of sources and magazines and stuff that did not ever come from me i never gave a source i never had a friend speak for me i never did any of that so a lot of people were like you already spoke about this no i didn't no i didn't you didn't people magazine was the very first time that i talked about it the sources and everything else was coming from the other side and i felt like that's why i had to do it because it's not fair for people to talk to me and i'm done letting

people walk all over me you've exuded nothing but class from the start thank you i mean i might be a little biased, but... Well, I feel a lot stronger now that I got to share my story and I told the truth, even though people tried to deny it and act like I lied. Whenever I have receipts, videos, proof, I could go on and on. So, you know, can't do nothing about it whenever somebody is telling the truth is all I'm going to say. Exactly. Exactly.

And guess what? We're having fun. Yes. While we're talking about it. Exactly. Do what I thought. How... Okay.

So, Kara, this was your first time watching me on Watch Chavez Live. You came to one that we did in L.A. but that's different. That was like a big group of people. It was. And the clubhouse in New York City is like such an experience. Yes. What was that like for you?

At first it was kind of like I was a little shell shock, to be honest, because I was expecting like I've been in LA a lot. I've been in New York City too, but not for anything with production wise. Right. Yeah. So like coming in and like seeing how they treat you and like greet you at the door and pull you in. I'm just like to me, you're still my best friend from home. You know what I mean?

I've seen you do really cool things. We don't experience a lot of things together, but when they open the door for you and like, chauffeur you in, what would you like to drink? You know, in front of it to the green room, I'm like, oh, this is so cool. It is cool. It's a cool experience. Yes. I've seen you do a lot of cool things, but I don't know, something about this. It just, like, was full circle for me because, you know, the whole Bravo thing and how I watched it to begin with.

Yeah. You know, now you're on it. Yeah, it's wild. However long now, what, 11, 12 years. It's been almost 11 years now. Yeah, that's crazy. Wild. Yeah.

Fourth of July was 11 years since I had moved to Kentucky. Or since I moved from Kentucky to L.A. Yeah. Because you met him May 2015. Yep. Yep. You want to tell the story? I mean, if y'all want to hear the truth, yeah.

Yeah. Well, a lot of people like to lie about how I met my ex. They like to say that I DM'd him. I stalked him. I did all these things. That's hilarious. And not only that, there was a new rumor that me and my mom. Me and my mom together stalked him and tried to get me on TV and all this stuff.

That is ridiculous. Kara, please tell the truth because you were there. Okay. Well, do we start at before you met him? Like, the year before? It doesn't matter. Okay. So I don't know where to even really start with this, but I guess I could start really at the beginning and how like Bravo was kind of connected to me and you.

Right. So I was at Bravo. fan. Right. You watched Vanderpump Rules. I watched Vanderpump Rules. I was a stay-at-home mom. My, like the first year and a half of my son's life, I was a stay-at-home mom. Yeah. I love me some Bravo. Brittany came out to L.A. for her birthday one year. I think it was 2014. Yeah. And then she was like, do you want to come with me? And I was like, yeah. And I was, I surprised you for that trip. Yeah. And I was still dating my ex. Yes. You were still dating at the time. Yeah. So since I surprised her, I decided to make reservations for her at restaurants. And I coordinated

with her ex-boyfriend and my at the time boyfriend to go to sir because I had seen the show. Yeah. I was like, I want to go to sir. That'd be cool, right? Yeah. So we went. And it was so funny is thinking back, I know I'm kind of like circling back or whatever. But thinking back now, like I've heard people say like she went to sir a year before and I saw pictures of that or like, you told me.

You told me something about like a Reddit that says something about like how. dare her she say she'd never seen vanderpump back yeah we saw pictures and posts from her twitter or something from years or a year before that she was at cert that was me yeah that was you didn't even know what was going on it was so funny christina kelly christina kelly was our server yeah i was so excited i was like that's christina from the show and you were like who and i was like yeah it's a girl named christina from the show and then we went into the other side that's like the bar the bar the bar yeah so long ago but then jacks was standing there and i even got the ex-pofriends.

Just take a picture of me and Jacks together. Yes, you don't remember. I don't remember. No. It was so funny. And you were like, who the fuck? You didn't even give, you did not give a, whatever.

I was with my ex. You weren't even in the, you weren't even that area with us. She even know who he was. No, I had no idea. And I wish I could honestly find that picture somewhere, but I cannot. No, I'm not posting him anywhere anyway.

But, okay, so anyways, she made that reservation. She took me there because she watched the show. I had no idea. even after that, I still didn't watch the show. Fast forward a year later. Yes. Me and my ex broke up.

And Kara's birthday is May 5th. Sheena's birthday is May 7th. Kara, as you guys, as I said from the beginning, she lives in Las Vegas now. So I surprised her for her birthday that year. And we go out to... We went downtown. Downtown. Yeah.

We were driving... Downtown. We were driving to park in the parking garage. And we were going to Gold Spike. Yes, we're going to Gold Spike. And we park, instead of going and parking in the normal parking garage we park in, we park in front of Gold Spike. And I literally see Katie and Tom. You know, did you know that Haley is the one that told me to go there that night?

Really? She was going to meet us and she ended up flaking on us. Oh. But whatever, you know, fate. So we go in to Gold Spike after we saw Katie and Tom walk in. And I was like, Brittany, I saw Katie and Tom. Can you take a picture of me with them? Yeah.

And so you took a picture of us. Mm-hmm. everything was normal. We didn't care or notice if anybody else was around. But me and Katie started talking about the fact that her mom lived in Summerland, which is in Vegas. And they were talking about our accents. Yes.

And we made conversation with Tom and Katie. They were acting like we were fans. Once they knew that I was from Vegas and who cares, her mom lived in Vegas. And she was telling me like, my mom was in Summerlin. Like I used to work in Summerlin. And then I think either Jack spotted us or we spotted Jacks. I'm not sure.

He came up to me at the bar. because Tom and Katie asked if we wanted to do a shot with them. Because we were just hanging out with them at that point. So we go up to do a shot with them and that's when he came to the bar. Yes. And he did. And he was actually on a date. That is the truth, people.

He came up to me. I had no interest, no nothing, did not watch the show at all. That's really what happened. Guess what? It was me, guys. It was Kara. It was me. You know, there's a lot of crap now, but I always say I wouldn't have cruisy.

So, you know, that's all that matters to me. I mean, like, at the same token, like, our lives have come so far from where we were. And even though we went through a lot and you went through obviously a whole lot to that everyone has seen, you are like at the top of your game. Thank you. You know what I know? I just can't wait to see where life takes me now that I feel like I can breathe again, you know? Yeah. For the first time.

Okay. So that's actually how it happened. I've said this many times on the podcast. I've told this story, but you weren't with me. no so it's carris fault guys it's the same token like i might have watched a show and like i appreciated the show especially at the times where i was at home alone with my child it was like i was a super fan no no no no god no you were not a stalker we randomly saw katy we were already going into golden spike yes or gold spike whatever the heck it's called gold spike yeah and i took a photo of

you guys together it's so funny i definitely was a fan don't get me wrong but i was no super fan freaking out or like stalking anybody. No, no looking at Instagrams and find out or nothing like that whatsoever. Yeah. Like I have a life and I have like a lot, you know, at stake and stuff in Vegas. And I have a lot of friends. Yeah. It's not like I'm out here looking for fame or fortune or anything.

There's a lot of opportunities where I could have been involved in things in your life and I've, you know, chose not to. Yeah. In certain moments. So it's not like I'm out here trying to get famous myself or like anything like that. You're just my actual real friend who's been there since day one. That's watch a show. Like a lot of people that watch your show. They're just normal people.

Yeah, exactly. Where fans are weird about it. Of course. And Kara, if you guys remember, she was on Jackson, Britney Tate, Kentucky because I made her. And then she was my maid of honor at my wedding. Yes. And she also got to a huge fight with him when we were filming in Vegas one year. And we got kicked out.

We got kicked out of Planet Hollywood, remember? Oh, listen, they didn't even air that scene. Oh, they didn't? They did not air that scene in Santa Hollywood. And I got 86. from Hart Bar, which is in Plano, Hollywood, when I worked at Plano Hollywood. Oh, no. I worked in that casino and wasn't allowed to go that party quarter.

I went the, it's right after he cheated on you. Yeah. I went the fuck off on him. And I told him how it was. And it was actually a really good conversation where I got a lot of words in and, like, actually like. And it wasn't even on the show. I was so concise and so like in it.

And he, honestly, he just was not really giving me much back. So I think they didn't want to hear it. Yeah. He was kind of like. refusing to even talk about it. And we got kicked out. That's hilarious. Okay, so Kara has been around. She knows everything, as you guys know. So I just wanted to clear that up, you know, some of the stuff that are rumors about me. First, very first memory. Yeah. I think when we were in, so we weren't close friends yet, but we, you were at Providence with

me for a little bit in elementary school. Yes. We had a kindergarten play and you were Cinderella and I was Snow White. Oh my God. Do you remember that? I don't. What? Carrie, you've always been the memory girl.

Like, we called you Google because I could never remember stuff. And then remember Alex was Bell. Oh, my God. Was Alex Bell or Jasmine? I don't know. I don't remember. Girl, I don't remember being Cinderella. And then you ended up moving schools before we could finish it. Yeah, I started at there, and then I went to Shear and then back to Providence and then back to Shear. Oh, that's your first memory? Yeah. So my memory is awful, but we were always on, like, a lot of the same cheerleading teams and like Civitan cheerleading teams, like when we were really little.

We finally got on a team together. Yeah. We cheered together. We got closer when we were on the team together. But I remember because Kara's dad owned a restaurant downtown and went to. Manchester. Let me do. Okay. She, she always does this. I'll be ready to tell a story and she gets, she tells my punchline before I even get there. That's such a best friend thing. Um, anywho, um, uh, Kara's dad owns a restaurant. It was called the Engine House Deli, a downtown Winchester. And we, always the Christmas parade was there. And I was like little Miss Clark County or something or maybe I was with a cheerleading team. I think, no, we were, it was when we had the Clarkman. cheerleading like or was it it had to be Cibatan because it's before Clark Middle. Yeah. So anywho, we decide me and Caira to go to her

dads and get like hot chocolate and that was like the start of our, we had known each other for years but that was the start of our best friendship. And you said, do you want to come stay the night? And I said, okay, I'll go ask my dad and you're like, I'll go ask my dad because you're staying at your dad. Yeah. This is like the real main memory

of our first like encounter that we became really close. The hot chocolate at the deli and then coming to stay at my dad's house. We dressed up in clown costumes and, like, performed and did all that. And we were cutie and patootie. Yes. Oh my goodness. I don't remember who was cutie or who was pituity. I wish I could find the pictures. There's a picture somewhere. There is a picture somewhere. Okay. Who got in trouble more? Me or you? When we were younger, you. When we were older, me. Yeah. Like when we were in like

middle school, you got in trouble a lot. Because I got caught a T. T. P. and a half. house. Yes. When we were older, I skipped a lot of schools. Yeah. A lot of trouble I was always grounded. Yep. True.

Okay. What's the funniest thing we did growing up that our parents still don't know about? Does dad know about the whipped cream slipping slides in the restaurant? Oh my God. We had guys over. We would literally, so we would stay at my dad. My dad had an apartment above the restaurant. Yeah.

And we would sneak downstairs and we would invite boys over and we would drink his beers that were meant for his beer cheese. Yeah. They were Budweiser heavy, which is the fucking first. Yes. And then we would pour whipped cream all over the floor. Because it was tile, like old school tile. Yeah. Like deli tile.

Yeah. The soda shop tile. Yeah. And we would pour whipped cream all over the floor and do slip and slides. And this is like two or three in the morning when we were probably like 12 or 13. That's like not like way too young. Oh no. Oh, no.

We were damn scared. I'm scared. Well, Kara, I remember one time we took one of your dad's beer cheese. beers and when we're saying that we drank like a beer we would share like a one beer you know we thought we were cool you know it was so dumb but i remember one time we took one and me and he went on a walk and we poured it into a cup and we heard that if you put salt in it that it makes you drunk faster and we put salt exploded everywhere and we put salt in the beer with that is wild gross oh my gosh so many funny memories i mean i could go on and on thinking back to like me in elementary

school whenever you knew me do you're like what was something i was obsessed with back then in elementary school yeah like when we were first meeting limited to limited two limited i had the blow up couch boys boys you were definitely boy crazy i was i had the blow up couch i had the limit but all the boys loved you wasn't even that you were crazy about them they they more so loved you um the blow up living to two couch all the silk pajamas the art stuff for a long letter we loved it you loved it yes This, can we talk about the helmet head? Oh, yeah, talk about the helmet head. This girl used to literally take a whole can.

I don't know if it's aquanette or if it was, we even had awfully. Just one of the old school hairsprays. I don't know if it was Aussie or Aquinette. Yeah. She would slick her ponytail. Straight back. No loopies here. No loopies.

So we called it loopie. Oh, my God. Yeah, there's no loopies. No loopies here. We learned that in cheerleading, though. You can't have a loopie, like, for competitions and stuff like that. I would slick. the shit out of my hair.

You would. I wish I could. We called it, hell the head. It was so bad. It was so good, but it was so bad. I was also obsessed

with beanie babies. Remember, I had every beanie baby. I begged my parents anytime Princess Dana Bear came out, I would cry. I was in the store downtown. You could buy the beanie

that was like, Kraftnook. Yes. It's not even downtown. It's on the bypass. No, but I was thinking of the different one. No, it was Kraftnuck.

You can go to Kraftnuck and get him Yeah, it was the craftnook. It's still there. That's crazy. Yeah. What do you buy Bozer? I haven't been in a long time, but that's where I used to go to get the Beanie babies. I thought that was so cool.

Okay. Kentucky, Kentucky Memories, next section. What's the most Kentucky thing about our friendship? Our accents? I mean, our accents, you know what's so funny is people will literally come to my work and not knowing that who I am or who you are and hear my accent. Well, they'll know who you are. So they won't know who I am, but they'll know who you are.

and they've seen you on TV or whatever and then they'll be like you sound like somebody I know or that I've heard before I'm like okay mind you I work in Vegas so yeah you don't hear this accent super often yeah you'll hear it like I know that accent from somewhere like where are you from like Kentucky like I knew it you sound just like Britney Cartwright from Bravo and I'm like what and then you're like our accents are the most Kentucky thing what else we love beer cheese we love beer cheese we love L8 we're very hospitable yes we love Love to host a party. Yep.

Love hosting. Yep. We love to keep a nice home. Yes. Yes. All the things. If someone wanted to understand where I come from, what's one story you tell them? Like where you come from as a person?

Or where you come from from from from where you're from? Just where I come from as a person, I guess. Hmm. Well, if I can explain Brittany as a person in general, that night that we went and got hot chocolate from my dad's deli. being our first night that we ever hung out. This is just going to make me cry too. Aw.

Pretty's just such a special person. And I was going through a lot at the time. And I think she knew it too. And she might not remember that right now in this moment. But it's something I remember because I have a way better memory than she does. But you were kind of being bullied. Yeah. I was definitely being bullied.

And like I was, we all hung out with the same people. But I was definitely not at the time. As close. That's close to you. And like, I wasn't like, I kind of. was on my own little path and I kept to myself for the most part. Yeah. And that night we had had the Christmas parade and we walked the Christmas parade together. Yeah. And then everybody kind of went off and did their own thing and you followed me to go get hot chocolate with me and you walked in my dad's

restaurant with me and you saw that I looked sad and you said, you should come stay the night. Aw. And it's funny that we're even talking about that story before because it's, it's not something I tell a lot of people obviously. But if I can explain Brittany and how she is as a person, and where she came from and why. She has the most genuine giving heart. And she doesn't do the things that she does for recognition. There's a lot of people that probably would have been like, why are you hanging out with her?

Like, you know, she didn't care. She wanted to be there, you know, with somebody that needed a friend at the moment. Best decision I ever made. You know what? Yeah, it was just, it was a good moment. And it just, it's a true testament of who Brittany has been from her core from the beginning. And she still is to this day.

You see it all. the time and not everybody's going to notice it but if you actually look at her character in who she is you'll see it thank you i did not make her say that i did not know she was going to say that by the way she doesn't even know what questions i'm going to ask her oh she literally said carra we're not going to talk about what questions we're going to do today because i want this to be very natural yeah okay let's like we're just two friends in our new york city hotel room yeah after having a long day and a great dinner lashes off we're just going to chill and just be us and have fun yeah um

What's your favorite memory from high school together? We have so many of those. I want to say it's a little boring. It's really drinking, but high school. Let me think. Okay. Well, I could say some funny stories. So even back then, I was always the host.

Everybody came to my house and I had a room that was like turned. It used to be a garage. So it had a door to the outside. So like my mom would be asleep and not even know that like all my friends were over and we were hanging out. And we had this room. called the orange room and we would all hang in there, hang out in there. And our group of friends, our closest group of friends, like me, you, Alex, Bethany, like, you know, Kayla, there was a couple others. And we called ourselves FBC. Yes, we did. First bitches club. We had an initiation

and everything. We did it. We passed it down whenever we were seniors to the juniors. And they called themselves the second bitches club. How embarrassing is that for them? Oh my God, but those nights were so fun. They were fun. Those nights were so fun. That's Sier and off apple that I chugged. Oh, my God, Kara. Kara was trying to chug a Smyr enough apple.

I was like, look what I can do. Those are disgusting. Okay? And she was trying to chug it and threw up everywhere. Oh, my gosh. In front of everybody. Wait, another memory of you. This is not the, not the hurry.

You do you guys remember Phil Day? So I was so good at Phil Day. I would always. Sorry, Kara. I would always win. I was. I was. I would tell her how bad Kara was.

No. But like I would always win first place and all the races and everything. I was super fast. It was indoor that year because it started raining. It was indoor this year. And no one would volunteer to do the hurdles. The hurdles. So they set the hurdles up inside the gym and all the hot older guys were sitting in this

one area. And Kara does the hurdles. I was no. The thing is I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to do it at all. I didn't volunteer myself. And then Mr. Case, who was my home room teacher.

Did you remember Mr. Kay? Yeah. He was like, they were like going to care, ra, care, care. And I was like, I'm not doing that. We were all cheering for you. And I'm like, okay, well, I have to get up then. So I get up. And I take my ass down them damn bleacher steps in front of all those hot boys and do these hurdles.

And I'm okay. I'm like keeping pace. Yeah. And I come my last little last part. And I trip over the hurdle. and land on both of my elbows. Yeah. And skid them so bad, the entire gymnasium goes,

oh! Right in front of where the hot boys were sitting. I mean, we have laughed about that for years. It's been great. I mean, it was so funny, but Phil's Day was, I loved me some field day. When you knew you were going to win. You know, you just loved it. And those little tiny medals they gave us.

I know. We were so cool with those. But back then, there wasn't like a participation medal. You had to get first, second, or third. By the way, I did win. and some. Just not that one. Yeah. Just not the hurdles. Oh my gosh. Who had the bigger personality back then? I don't know. We've always had kind of big personalities later on in life. Like, I was a little more shy when I was younger. You were more shy in the beginning. And then we both had

big personalities. We've always. We've always. Always had big personalities. Carers want to care at the, like if I was having a bad time or like a bad day or anything, she would always interpretive dance for me. And it could be like, little weight or such of ridiculous and she would act out every word and it would just brighten my day. Yeah, it's usually after drinking something like hot tangeray or gay or master. And also, if you guys don't know, right from high school, Karen and I moved instead of going into the dorms at EKU, we moved right to an apartment together. So we lived together.

We've been there, done that, all the things. We pretty much lived together from the time we were seniors because I always either skip school or stayed at your house because I live so far out in the country. Yeah. At that time, my mom had the house in town. Yeah. And so we pretty much lived together from the time we were seniors until I moved to Vegas. So that's the craziest part.

It is. We always had a house together. We did, always. And now she lives in Vegas, but even if we go like a week without talking to each other a week or two, it could even be a month if life gets crazy. It doesn't matter. Things go right back to the same. And that's when you know that you're real friends. Absolutely.

Okay. Let's go on to me moving to L.A. when I told you I was moving to Los Angeles, what did you really think now that it's all said and done 11 years later? My first reaction was I was really excited that you were going to be closer to me because I just had DM. Yeah. Right? Yep. And then my second reaction was I was a little skeptical because I had seen the show.

That's who I was moving with. And you had asked me several times. This is a good idea. You've seen the show. And I'm like, it's a show. I may not be real life. I'm not going to base it off the things that I've seen on the show. And I was so like, he's good to me. I want to see how, you know, how people treat me. But from the moment I've known you and like been around you, I always knew you were destined for more than just Kentucky, just like I was destined for more than just Kentucky. You know, like I didn't want to be there. I was not, I didn't feel that place there. Yeah. You, you, the moment that I was able to blossom out from that. I've been in Vegas for 15 years now. And I love, we love Kentucky. No shame whatsoever. Yeah. I love it. I knew that I would grow more being somewhere else and around a different environment where people understood anymore. Yeah. Yeah. felt the same way with you with O.A.

Yeah. People, I mean, like, you still relate obviously to people back home. Of course. You blossomed more in a different situation, just like I did. What's one thing about me that hasn't changed at all? I mean, so many things. Good. That's what I like to hear.

I mean, I could go on for days. Your hospitality, your kindness, your understanding. I mean, you're genuine. Thank you. You're patient. I could go on for days. I mean, there are a few things that have changed. You're just more cautious.

Yeah. And honestly, that's the number one thing is that you're more cautious. And that's not a bad thing. You're more guarded than cautious at times. Right. And I have to be now. Yeah, you have to be. Obviously.

What's it like watching me on reality TV? At first, it was kind of crazy. But now it's just kind of normal. Yeah. It's been a while now. Yeah. I mean, it was really crazy at first. Yeah.

I'm not going to lie. But now it's just like, yeah I don't know I see you up there and it just looks so natural I mean you could tell at first you were like oh yeah at first I could barely talk or anything I mean I was like hello my name is Britney I'm so scared. Seeing you today and watch what happens live and you were so right before we went on, obviously you had nerves and you're just like, I still get nervous. You just get really quiet. Yeah, I get quiet.

I need my time and I'm like, okay, with Thursday, they're going to do for you. Just tell me and I'll help you. And we just stand there for a little bit while you think about what, you know, you feel and say and how you're feeling like you look and like, I just know that you were feeling just anxious. Yeah. Not that you were showing it too much, but like you were feeling anxious. Of course. You get up there and it's like you were having a normal conversation with two people that in front of a live audience. Yeah.

And honestly, live worldwide. Yeah. So, and you crushed it. So it's just like normal now. I love that. Does anyone else still get that back to school shopping feeling when summer starts winding down? Yes. What do they say? There was a time, I don't even remember what I said to Jackson on the episode. What did I say? Was it the Kentucky or Bainterpone? I don't know. I think it was Kentucky. And I was at EOS around the time, which is a gym in Vegas.

And I was doing crunches on the ground on this part of called the yard. And somebody walked out to me and goes, she does think. Thanks. Brittany does things. And I said, what? Does things? I guess that was my rebuttal. Oh, because he said, remember he was saying I lost my sparkle back then. Yes. And I said some of them. And he called me fat and stuff. And my only rebuttal was she does things. Or at least that's all they showed. Yeah. And so. Yeah, that's what it was. And then when I used to work at the bar in Austin right around your wedding episodes, people would walk up to me all the time. And they would specifically come to that bar, that nightclub in Austin just to see me there. Oh, awesome. It was cool. That is cool. Cool. What's been the hardest part of watching me go through so many public ups and downs? Um, not being there for you for a lot of them. Because we do still live four hours away and we both have kids and stuff. And it's not always easy and full time. I mean, have a full time job. Yeah. The hardest part is definitely seeing you sad or anxious and not being able to be there as soon as I can. That's so glad I'm so glad you're here for this. I'm so glad you're here. It means the world to me that you're here. Today's been a rough day.

It's not, it's been great. Yeah, it's been great. I think the end up to it was bad. I know emotionally it was a lot of ups and downs for me. So it meant a lot that you were here. That means that I could be here. If you can think back to our friendship, what's one piece of advice you've given me that I actually listen to? When you're feeling anxious at moments about certain things and I kind of ground you in certain situations.

Yeah, for sure. There's not anything specific that it happens. Right. You just help me like relax. In the moment, like I ground you and I remind you of who you are. Thank you. You listen to that. then you'll,

you'll, you'll, you'll, you calm down. Yes. I know, these are a lot of, like,

emotional questions, but they're fresh shit. They're a fresh. They're a question. Because I cry way too much in a lot of period. I'm crying now. Um, so funny.

Um, so the most proud of you. I think the decision of you, um, separating with Jacks is one of the moments that I'm most proud of you. As an adult and as parents and, and as partners and, you know, things that we're going through on current day. I think I'm the most proud of you for walking away from your comfort zone when we were kids

because Kentucky is still a comfort zone for you. For sure. So that was a huge moment that I've been very proud of you. Oh, I love you. I love you. I'll try not to ask something so smushy on the next one. If you had to describe our friendship in three words, only three words, what would it be? Oh, my God.

Three words. Genuine. What would you say? Fun. You need to help me with some of these questions. Genuine, fun, and... It can only be one word, so it can't even be like... I know.

There's words that I could say that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Genuine, fun. Loyal. Absolutely. Yeah. 100%. Absolutely.

Why do you think we've been able to stay best friends for so many years? I know a lot of people, especially in L.A., that don't have any friends that they knew like in high school like aren't even friends with those people I would like to say because we don't like the same type of guys that's been but we've been friends for longer that we've been than we've been with guys yeah that wouldn't be it yeah but a lot of it is that we don't like the same type of guy so we've never slept with the same guy yeah which has been very nice no eskimo sisters here we've never even been slightly interested in the other person spouse or boyfriend or whoever they're interested in yeah um that's a huge one

and also like I don't know we don't have anything out for each other like we're not we don't have we've never had jealousy with each other we never had always supporting each other and lifting each other up and like happy for each other it's never been like a moment where I'm like I like of course I'm like yeah I wish I was like yeah a millionaire a lot I mean we cut that out yeah I always not um I think it's been mainly just like it's just no jealousy or like wanting or envying or envying or coveting what somebody else has. Just happy for each other and supportive. There's never a moment where you've done something in your life or I've done something in my life that you've been like, I wish, you know, I was that person and I'm going to bring that person down. Or like if I was happy for you,

I would be so happy for you and support you. If you're happy for me, you would be supportive and happy for me. You know, a lot of people have jealousy and like stuff in their friendships. And we've only gotten them, what, like two fights, our entire friendship. Maybe that. Yeah, maybe that.

And one of them was on spring break, okay? And Payton Mall City Beach. right. She wouldn't let me drive the car or go to the store. So that wasn't even. No, you had broke your tooth within 10 minutes of We were on spring break in Panama City. Our room was not ready yet. We went down to the beach. Brittany did a back flip after we just got down to the beach and put swimsuits on. I'm talking like immediately. She does a back tuck and she lands on her face because we had been drinking. Yeah. You know. Spring break. We're in college. Normal. And then we get back to the room because she broke her tooth and she's freaking out and she's got this straw hat. on no shoes in a bikini. Literally my front tooth was half missing. And then she's like, and we've taken my dad's car from Kentucky to Panama. And she's like, I need the car to go to the emergency dentist.

I'm like, you're drunk. You can't do that. And she's like, well, fuck you. Which it's great that you did that, of course. And I'm pretty sure you either walked or took a taxi. We probably took a taxi or something. I didn't end up going with you because we were so mad at each other. It was like a day later.

Yeah, we were just fine. Probably that night. But they had a patched my tooth and it was so sensitive for the rest of the thing. then I'd go back and get it fixed. Wow. That was wild. Okay. I'm going to do a rapid fire, so you just answered these questions fast, okay?

Who was more dramatic? Me. Yeah. Agreed. Who had bigger crushes? You. Me, I agree. Who is more likely to cry during a movie?

You both cry. Both. I think both of us. Favorite Kentucky restaurant we always had to visit? Southman grocery? Oh my God, Southman grocery. which is not even really a restaurant. Yeah. But the chicken salad sandwich with the grippo chips and the L.A.

Or the bologna sandwich. Oh, good too. The ice cream. Or engine house deli. Yeah, Ingenhouse deli. We had to go there. If we're thinking of like a restaurant, restaurants, I feel like... Halls was good.

Halls on the river. Yeah. Yep. One word that describes me. Happy. Happy. I love that. finish the sentence.
