Starting point is 00:00:00 Buddy and welcome back to another episode of When Reality Hits. I've got my buddy, my pal. Oh, we're starting with buddy and pal now. My buddy and my pal, my bestie for life, Zach Wickham. There we go. Hi guys. And we're in the studio today. I know.
Starting point is 00:00:30 We actually made it to the studio. Yeah. Look at us. We're so efficient. I know. So we're so good today. We are so good today. So, of course, you've been on the pod more than anybody else, which I love.
Starting point is 00:00:42 As it should be. Exactly. So I just got some like funny, fun questions. We all know there's been a lot going on in my life. So I just want to keep it light, have fun. Which is what I would like us to be able. You know what I mean? Yeah. You need more of that.
Starting point is 00:01:00 I do. You need some more fun and lightness in your life. Which is exactly what we're going to do. So I'm going to really be interviewing you. Oh, I love that. Okay. I'll take a vaccine. Because a lot of times we go back and forth.
Starting point is 00:01:12 I'm going to ask you some like questions about shows and would you rather's and stuff like that to get us going. I love this. Okay. We're going to start with this one. What is your biggest red flag that you genuinely believe is a green flag? In people or in just in general? Just in general. About you.
Starting point is 00:01:30 Oh, about me? Yeah. Oh, this was that me. Yeah. Oh, my God. What's your biggest red flag that you believe is a green flag? Okay. I'm not going to lie.
Starting point is 00:01:38 I believe that all my flags are green. even though I think I let's say everybody has red flags you know what I mean yeah I think the biggest one for me that that people might see as a red flag but that is actually green is maybe how dramatic I am and it's not because you know people can see that and think either it's um over the top or it's fake or it's like you know you know they don't understand why I'm having that dramatic response but honestly it just keeps life more fun. You're passionate. Thank you. It's not dramatic. It's passion that just unfortunately comes out at most moments of my life. So people can see you as dramatic, but you see it as passionate.
Starting point is 00:02:23 Exactly. And I think that's one of those things where especially, well, actually a lot of people probably think it's a huge red flag, but honestly, it is very green. It is green. It is green. I love that about you. Do you think that's a green? Yes. Of course. We've had our ups and downs, but we always love each other no matter what. Well, yeah. And you would be. who you are if you didn't have those dramatic flares. Thank you. I wouldn't be as fun. Exactly. I love that about you. I love your
Starting point is 00:02:49 personality. Okay. This is a random question, but think about Vannepump rules like, oh, geez. Okay. If you had to date one person from the Vanderpump rules cast, who would it be and who would you block immediately? Number one,
Starting point is 00:03:05 first block is James Kitt. Bye. Bye, bye, sir. and then I would date, I mean, I think this is the person that I would have dated. Then now, if you ask me in 10 years, it's going to be, it's going to be Tom Schwartz. Yeah. It's always going to be Tom Schwartz. Yeah. Because I, number one, I think I could control him very well.
Starting point is 00:03:24 Much better than Katie did. What a way to start off with that relationship. I can control him. Maybe that's my red, is that my red flag? Wait, that might be my red flag now. I'm so sorry. No, but I think Tom and I would just have such a good time. And honestly, like, I feel like our personalities are really aligned.
Starting point is 00:03:42 He's great. And you guys are that closer. Yeah. And so I think he would be the person that I would date. It's also funny. I feel like sometimes even now I get questions and people don't realize how close I was to all of us. All of us. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:57 A lot of people don't realize you were around me during the Vanderpump Rules time. And you also got close to my friends, which were also the castmates. You were around for a lot of it. The second I moved here. you and Nicole Scherzinger were the only two people I knew in L.A. Yeah, yeah. So I started working for her. And then when we hung out, we hung out with your friend group, which was all the Van der Pupp rules group, because that's who, that was only who you knew. For the three months prior. Exactly. Yeah. So you were around for all of that, which a lot of people don't realize. Okay, yeah, you used to work for Nicole Schwartzinger. Tell everybody how that went down. It is, it's crazy because when I moved to L.A. I move here and the only two people I know are you and her. And I had a job, you know, coming in.
Starting point is 00:04:47 You know, I had my work from home job. But it's East Coast hours. I wasn't like integrating into L.A. And Nicole and I go to dinner. And she's like, oh, like, I don't have an assistant right now. And I was like, I can help you out on weekends. Like, do you need some, you know, help around the house or this? So I started like slowly doing some like audits.
Starting point is 00:05:05 jobs for her and then eventually like a few months went by and she was like I actually need a full-time you know assistant would you want to be my full-time assistant I was like you know what I'm not doing this this LA thing very well I'm not getting integrated like to or getting out enough so I was like you know what leap of faith let's do it and then I started her assistant and then I was her assistant for eight years yeah which is so crazy to think about that is wild eight years eight years and you knew her from Kentucky yeah I feel like a lot of people don't know that story. She's actually from, she was born in Hawaii, but she moved when she was like two to Louisville,
Starting point is 00:05:41 Kentucky and grew up in Louisville. And so her and her little sister, I was best friends with her little sister growing up. So I've like known her my entire life, but she's from Louisville. So we have that Kentucky connection too. Yeah. And then you and me have the Kentucky connection before L.A. So it's like I love when, you know, we can be here, but we still have like our, like our roots were so. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:03 We got lucky. Yeah. I feel like we got really lucky. We did. We did. Life worked out for us. And we made some like real friends in the process. Which also in L.A.
Starting point is 00:06:12 Now granted, we've also had some not so real. Obviously. Obviously. Gosh. We had to learn our lessons when we moved here. But through it all, like we got a really good solid family. Yeah. Like I don't think a lot of people are able to get.
Starting point is 00:06:29 Exactly. When they move here. So lucky for that. So. Because we don't have family here. It's just us. and those people became like our family. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:37 You know? Well, and like we can't make it back all the time. No, we still are, both of us are still very close to our families back home. Absolutely. We both go back to Kentucky a lot. We have our families come visit us here a lot. My mom will be coming in like October. I know.
Starting point is 00:06:50 I cannot wait. I know. I'm excited. And even like my friends, like from my friend group back home, come to visit me here. So. It is crazy that we also have such a strong, I feel like not a lot of our other friends have as strong connections to like, all my friends from grade school,
Starting point is 00:07:06 from high, like I have a massive friend groups as you. Yeah. Yeah. That's also like we're integrated into other friend groups that we don't get to maybe see as much. But like, we've maintained those relationships too. Forever. Forever. Yeah. I mean, I just recently had Kara on the podcast and everyone kind of got to hear our dynamic.
Starting point is 00:07:23 And that's a 30 plus year friendship. I think it's kind of a red flag when people have absolutely no friends from back home. I agree. Unless I will give some people. some people you know like if they were a loaner I can tell that they're like super extrovert or I mean introverts yeah or something maybe or maybe they like moved around a lot I'll give them I'll give some leeway but you're right yeah that is one of the bigger red flags if you have no friendships from back home at all yeah like red flags like that's that's wrong like why you're moving so much
Starting point is 00:07:54 or why can't you maintain a relationship yeah even if it's just a friend like friends that's actually so and you know who never had any hometown friends yeah Well, I sure do. I was going to say, but we don't need to say it, but you only don't. Yeah, but seriously. Okay, next question. What's the most unhinged DM you've ever received? Have you got some crazy DMs now that you've been on the show for three seasons?
Starting point is 00:08:21 Let me, let me actually, I'm going to make this public, okay? I'm going to make this public. This is a PSA to everybody and all these cameras. I am actually disappointed in the lack of. sliding into my DMs that I have received. Right. I really thought when I was on the, I was like, oh, now I'm going to, I'll get experience that like those people that are crazy.
Starting point is 00:08:44 I really want that. Like I want that. That's part of this whole thing. Like, I want that experience. And I really haven't had. I'm like, okay, am I just, am I not pretty enough? Do I need to do more thirst traps? Like, is it because like, I'm like, I don't know what I need to do to attract more
Starting point is 00:08:58 crazy a little bit, you know, just a little bit more, not a lot. But I really don't get that many slides. And I've had like one or two. And then I'm like, oh, God, okay. But the one that sticks out the most is, and he actually DMs Jesse, Danny, Luke, that I know of. Oh, gosh. He has deemed an ass. He talks about wedgies.
Starting point is 00:09:23 And one time, like, he's like, hey, like, so what happens? So his turn on is his fetish. is wedgies. It's wedgies and underwear. So I always answer all my DMs. I'll just like double tap. Yeah. Like so that I acknowledge like you sent me something. It's very sweet. I might not be able to respond. Right. Sometimes people send me videos. I don't ever really double tap videos because I don't have time to watch or whatever. I'm scared sometimes. Whatever. Because if it's somebody you don't follow and it goes into that like third in boxes, there's like a primary, a general. And then the third. I don't even know what the third is called. But it's something like I don't know. Well, the third one with the hidden messages. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:01 So it's like... It's the fourth one, really. Yeah. So it has like different things. And when people send you pictures or video, you have to accept them. Because it's blurred out. Because it's blurred out to even see it. And then you might accept somebody who can come into your actual DM DMs whenever they might be.
Starting point is 00:10:19 Even though you had trouble relocking people out. Yeah. Yeah. That was weird. Yeah, it is weird. It's like, I'll go through and read those like hidden DMs sometimes because I have so many people that will reach out about different autism stories or, you know, toxic relationships and stuff. And I, like, love to respond to those people.
Starting point is 00:10:37 But then there'll be some that's, like, a scary picture. And you don't want to open it. It's like a big dick pick or something, you know? No, that's the thing. Oh, why is my chair all of a sudden deflated? Mine did that too? I was like, what is going on? Did I just do that?
Starting point is 00:10:48 You probably kicked it with your foot. Oh, okay. I was like, wait, why? I was like, I'm taller than this, guys. I promise. That happened to be whenever I was doing this last month. No, that's what I'm saying. Like, even if it's an ugly dick.
Starting point is 00:10:58 Why am I not getting more dickpicks in my DMs, guys? Like, I don't understand. Like, I feel, I kind of, I kind of feel bad about myself. Like, am I not worthy? I have some, but not that many. Most of mine are either being nice or being mean, or it's like somebody saying something about the show or somebody saying something about what I'm going through. I don't get very many, like, guys sliding in my DMs, though, is always women.
Starting point is 00:11:25 And I'm feeling the same way. Like, I'm single. Where are the guys? Yeah. So, guys, this is our PSA to everybody out there. Slide, please. We want more sliding, okay? Slide it all up in the DMs.
Starting point is 00:11:38 I just say, for nothing else, just I, you know, show me your dick. Good news. Okay. Out of all of the cast, who would be somebody that you would trust to play in your wedding and who would be someone that you would not trust to play in your wedding? You know what? This is exactly like the episode of Friends. where they're deciding who's going to plan the wedding.
Starting point is 00:12:01 And then I forget what happens. And then they turn to, it's like Phoebe or Rachel. And then she's like, well, Monica gets to plan your wedding. And then like the ghost like, oh no, like crap, I've messed up. I think if I was going to have someone play my wedding, for sure it would be you. Yeah, I was going to say that. You better say me. 100% you're planning my wedding.
Starting point is 00:12:24 Like your attention to detail, but also like the fact that we go so far back, the things that you would know and be able to pick up on. I would make sure there was a lot of thoughtful stuff. You know what I mean? Yeah. And that goes so, like such a long way, especially like a, during a wedding and whatever. But yeah, like for sure you would be planning my wedding. And did you say, what was the other part? Who would you not plan your wedding?
Starting point is 00:12:52 Well, I mean, let's be real. None of the men are doing anything. for anything. Like, not one of them. Yeah. I don't even know. I don't even want to know what's showing up to a Tom Schwartz wedding. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Like, obviously his wedding was beautiful. Yeah, yeah. But, like, showing up to a wedding that he fully planned and executed, I just don't know what that would be. Now, if it's in WeHo at the Bayou doing jealous shots, then you know what? Maybe he should plan my wedding. But, yeah, I think it would be any of the men if I had to choose, we'll know. And then I just won't go to women.
Starting point is 00:13:24 So we'll just say none of the men. Yeah, yeah. All the women would do better than any of the men. Let's be real. Well, because they have more everything. Oh, my gosh. Okay. If your life had a reality show tagline, what would it be?
Starting point is 00:13:44 Putting you on the spot. I'm not the drama. The drama follows me. Oh, Lord. I just made that up. Yeah. Something like that. Because I feel like, again, it's like I might have.
Starting point is 00:13:56 dramatic, you know, whatever. But people are like, God, there's so much trauma. I'm like, yeah, but I'm not starting it. Yeah. Now, if it finds me, that's not my, how is that my fault? Exactly. And then, you know, sometimes I continue it. And maybe that is my fault.
Starting point is 00:14:12 But I didn't start it. And that's all, that's my story. And I'm sticking to it. I love it. Mine would be something like, um, I may be a Southern Bell, but if you mess with me, you can rot inhale. Oh, I like that. I thought you were going to say something about ringing.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Like, I'll ring your bell. But no, I like that. I like that. That's a good one. I thought about that one before. That wasn't my first time. That was pre-planned. You didn't have a chance. I did.

Starting point is 00:18:00 That's a good deal, guys. Check them out. Who would survive the longest at the entire Bravo universe got stranded on an island together? Who would survive the longest? Yeah, out of our Bravo liberties. I'm trying to think if there's any. I would say, okay. You don't have to just think of our show.
Starting point is 00:18:24 Right. No, I feel like Captain Sandy. She's super resourceful. I feel like she would, I'm not going to lie. Vicki Gundelson, I feel like even though she would be like probably stressed out having like a full panic attack, probably give herself a stroke just for being stranded like that, I somehow feel like she would survive us all. Like, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:18:45 Like I've always said if the apocalypse happens. Yeah, resourceful. Yeah, resourceful. I'm too. Don't ask me if I can survive it, but I don't want to. I'm taking myself out the second it starts. I don't need to even see a little bit of it. No, I'm good.
Starting point is 00:18:58 Yeah. Just count me out. We get, I don't need to survive and, like, maybe rebuild society. No, I'm good. I'll go to the next society. So, Captain Sandy and Vicky. And Vicki, I think. And then, um, let me see who else would I say.
Starting point is 00:19:15 I would say, I would say, I'm like going through the housewife. Let me think of another housewife besides I think. I think so many of them I think are like, like us where we're just like, yeah, we might have a few good days because we would like maybe find some spoiled coconut water that would get us like drunk or something. But like other than that, I think like, you know, I'm probably going to drink the dirty water and dive dysentery. And, you know, like the Oregon Trail. The Oregon Trail.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Or I'm just going to walk out into the ocean and be like, no, gosh. Again, I'm good. This is too much. I can't survive another, you know, a few days. Maybe, like, the McBee brothers would do good just because they're, you know. Yeah, maybe them. But at the same time, they're, like, rich farmers. Yeah, they're not really like.
Starting point is 00:20:02 They're not really like my family back in the day. Right. They're, like, in a cab, like a very nice cabin or a various house on that land. But, yeah, you know what? I'm just going to go with Vicky and Captain Sandy. I love it. Vicky's hilarious. Have you been watching Ultimate Girls trip?
Starting point is 00:20:19 I have. I see clips, of course, because, you know, once you're in Bravo, your whole algorithm is Bravo stuff. It doesn't matter one thing and then it's all Bravo. She's been, I'll just say she's been quite the character on a couple of the episodes. And I think the girl, I don't know if the girls are like, are they like shocked? She literally handed them life insurance policies at one of their parties and was like, if you want to sign up with me, I'm like, she really. And she's hustler. Hustler in every single thing.
Starting point is 00:20:48 She has Cotto insurance. Cotto insurance. I'm like, she probably had it sewn into a dress at one point. Then like all of a sudden pops it up. It's, she's dedicated. She is dedicated.
Starting point is 00:20:58 Oh my goodness. Okay. What's one rumor about yourself that you wish was actually true? Because it sounds cooler. None of the rumors about me are very cool. The rumors are usually pretty bad. I mean, like, do you think your, like,
Starting point is 00:21:15 the rumors that you've had about you? They're all wrong. Yeah, yeah. And most of them are just like terrible. Let's see. Let me create a rumor about myself. God, I'm not good like that. I don't know what a cool rumor would be.
Starting point is 00:21:31 That like... I think it'd be funny because everyone thought your hair was fake. If it really was. If it really was over time. I'm not going to lie. I don't know if I told you before the second season reunion because we didn't have a reunion season one. Yeah. second season reunion, I was going to have someone install a really, like, good looking wig cap
Starting point is 00:21:53 and a good looking wig. Yeah. Come to the reunion and then be like, okay, it was fake. With all your hair underneath. But it would have, I don't know. I was like, I could have, like, shaved it for the bit, but then I was like, this is, see, then it's like too much. And then people, people already still think it's not real.
Starting point is 00:22:10 So if I did something like that. Did Andy, like, grab your hair on lunch time is of? and when I say grab it's more like grapple yeah he was like hooked in and pulled like he really thought it was gonna come off I you know what Andy I think you thought it was gonna come up I really think he thought nah I'm gonna get this
Starting point is 00:22:27 like I think everybody really thought it was fake and then he was like oh yeah this is not coming off it's like even if it's real I'm gonna make sure I tug it hard right exactly like a real like good sew it but even after that people still think that that is fake but I do think you know what let's keep those rumors going because I love that everybody, even with my hair changed going up now, people still call it Lego and I love it.
Starting point is 00:22:50 I'm like, the Lego thing is really like, I really have glommed on to that. And a lot of those people who have like tagged you in the videos with like the Lego hair, but also with the, what's it called where the machine makes something? What's it called? Oh, 3D printing. 3D printing, yeah. A 3D printing in the hair. Guys, again, I think the machine.
Starting point is 00:23:11 We've said this. Have we said this on another one? I feel like we have or I've said this on a different podcast. If anyone 3D prints or has the ability to Lego me, I will send you my head measurements. I will go to a head measure. I don't know who this is. You have to just to do videos like random videos all the time wearing it. Please, guys, somebody send me a 3D printed wig or a Lego wig. I will do anything you ask. Just DM me and I will get you my dimensions. Yes. Okay. You talk a lot about being petty. This doesn't have to do with the cast. It could be anybody in your life. What's one of the pettiest reasons you've ever disliked someone? Oh, pettiest reasons, meaning like, a reason that really I shouldn't.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Like it was petty. Yeah, like, it's so petty. As far as, like, there's a lot of even small things where I'm like, sometimes I've just, like, looked at someone and I'm like, I just don't want them around me. Like, there's been certain people that'll wear, like, um, like hipster clothing or like a, like a floral jacket and I'm like, why? And then I'm like, I, and then I won't want to be friends with them because I'm like, I just, I can't get over the fact that they're thinking that that is appropriate to wear
Starting point is 00:24:23 around me or like my eyes just like it hurts. So that I think is the pettiest reason like off the gate without like knowing somebody. You know what I mean? Like I will, sometimes I'm like, and it could like people that you might think, oh, that outfit's terrible. I might actually like. But it's just sometimes there's certain things that I'm like, I don't know why you're wearing this. And that means you're a bad person.
Starting point is 00:24:47 So I'm not going to talk to you. Like, totally for no reason. Okay. I love it. If there was one person on our cast that you had to change lives with for 24 hours, who would it be? You? Me? Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:02 Really? Yes. Because then I could finally have control of your life, like I've always wanted. You would finally have to listen to me because I am you. I'm over here thinking me, I'm going to do the most drama of anyone. You're like, oh my God, me, thank you. And then I'm like, yeah, because I will take that 24 hours and I will run with it, baby. Run and do every single thing I've ever wanted to.
Starting point is 00:25:25 I'll be like, okay, do this, do this, do this. Like what? What are some things that you would do? Well, like, you know, just like, okay, you did just get your air conditioner fix. Yeah. But like, I would have a list of things and then like, I'd be like, Zuli, here, help me. And then I would like get people. I'd be like, it's basically like move that bus.
Starting point is 00:25:41 We get everything organized. Then it would be like going through just everything. I don't want to say it all on camera, but like everything. And there would be, you know, some few choice emails sent to people. There would be some blocked numbers. There would be some blocked Instagrams. And then and then we would switch back and then everything I would want would be right with the universe. So you.
Starting point is 00:26:04 hilarious. Oh my goodness. Okay. And I would just want to be that beautiful for a day. Oh, I love you. Who do you think would be the worst? person to share a hotel room with? From our lives or from the world?
Starting point is 00:26:16 Just from our lives. Because I was going to say, I'm sure Donald Trump isn't great in a hotel room situation. It's got to be a lot of smelling and a lot of like Cheetos and I just, I don't have time for it. Let's see. I feel like for me, I'm so easy going except for temperature-wise. So anybody that likes that temperature, you know, that's why we can always room together. Yeah, you would have a hard time rooming with Lala or Michelle because they're always cold. Always cold.
Starting point is 00:26:45 And I'm not going to lie. So my grandfather moved in with us when I was 18 and he would turn up the thermostat. Oh, no. During any time of the year. We hate being hot. We hate it with a passion. And so I would get mad at him. So one time during winter, actually it was a little, I was like maybe 15.
Starting point is 00:27:04 One time during winter, he had turned it up exponentially. And I was like, what is going on? I was like, that's it. I'm done. I opened every window in my window. house. Just to make a statement? Yes, just to make a statement.
Starting point is 00:27:15 It was like, you're going to turn it up? Well, I'm going to, I'm going to turn it down. In the middle of a Kentucky winter. In the middle of Kentucky winter. And just like, my parents were so mad at me. Your poor grandfather. I know. Well, he was fine.
Starting point is 00:27:29 He was like, blah, blah, wow, wow, wow. And I was like, sit down. I'm just kidding. Oh, my God. Hilarious. What's your most embarrassing? I thought I looked hot moment. Um, anytime I had that hairstyle from season one, like, I was like, oh, it looks, I did,
Starting point is 00:27:49 no, listen, I knew that it looked a little helmety or a little whatever, but like, honestly, I like the swoop to the front. Yeah. But I'm just realizing nobody likes the swoop to the front. And I knew it to a certain degree, but like, I think everybody just stopped saying it. So then I was like, oh, okay, well, I feel comfortable with it. I guess I was just used to it because I didn't notice, but now that you've changed it, it looks so much better. But, like, I didn't even, like, realize that.
Starting point is 00:28:12 No. Until, right. Because it was always like that. Until I had hundreds and hundreds and thousands of DMs saying, what is wrong with you? Just admit it's a wig. And then I was like, guys, fine. Bullying works in this one case. I will change my hair and be less lazy.
Starting point is 00:28:28 And now you're so, feel so much better. But I do. So fine. Thanks for bullying you guys. I, like, look back at some of my Vanderpump rules, like interview outfits and I die. Like, there's one where I was wearing this, like, green. I can't remember if it was a dream. dress or a pantsuit and I have this huge gold choker on. I actually know which one you're
Starting point is 00:28:45 talking about. But was that from, um, isn't that Stasi's mom's line? No, it was just a huge gold choker. Oh, okay. Like literally almost the whole width of my neck. Didn't Stasi's mom have, um, that line of jewelry? Yeah, she made, her jewelry was pretty. It was like, oh, it wasn't those big ones. No, no, no. I mean, maybe some of them, but no, our, one of our friends who lives in Chicago. Oh, jewel. Yeah. She was the one who made like the, the, big like jewel ones that we would wear with our central page dresses. But those were like meant to go with those
Starting point is 00:29:16 dresses. No, I know. Yeah. No, I just looked. Because that was also the time. Yes. Yeah. Those huge chunky statement necklaces. And I just looked back and there was so many of them and it just like it actually warms my heart. Oh my gosh. But that interview look.
Starting point is 00:29:31 I like look at him like was I thinking I was like Princess Jasmine or something? Like what? Why did I do that? There was a, I remember there was a tweet from season one of our show and it was you holding your bottom lip because your your uh surgery or whatever had like paralyzed your bottom lip for that second so you're holding
Starting point is 00:29:51 your lit like this and your your mouth is like grumpy cat and then I'm over here with like this this huge helmet on the set and the tweet goes these two are going to regret this in 10 years and I responded we regret this right now we don't need to wait the 10 years like we did for those necklaces and stuff. No, we regret this immediately. Oh, my God. Man, that surgery, I thought, like, by the time we started filming, it would have been healed. But it wasn't.
Starting point is 00:30:19 And then I was in, like, Grumpy Cat frown for a while and could not. Like, I, like, look back to that. There was, like, the Daytonoy dinner that we had that was so bad. And I was like, I couldn't barely move my mouth. I was like, we want to? And you looked so, like a, you looked like you had the Snapchat filter on. I know. That Snapchat.
Starting point is 00:30:39 You literally looked like you had it on. It was like... And I watched that, like, that scene got brought back up recently because, like, all I ever asked for was like attention and date night. It's like that hard, you know? It's kind of sad whenever I saw that clip back. But I was like, you look, and I had to wear glasses because my contacts were bothering me and my face was frowning.
Starting point is 00:31:00 And I was like crying and upset, but still it was like, I couldn't even open my mouth and, like, you moved my jaw correctly. That's going to live with me forever. It really is. Yeah, I just, I don't need to, I don't need to put any more salt in it, but I'll put some sugar in it. We just have to laugh at ourselves. If anything, that's what I was going to say, if anything, it's one of those things where it's real. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:22 And we, you can't make this stuff up. Like, you know what I mean? It was so funny, you know, because I had shorts on whenever we threw out the first pitch at the baseball game, sorry, I hiccups. Was that the Padres? It was the A's. The A's. Yeah. And right before that, that Daily Mail photo.
Starting point is 00:31:38 came out of him where he was like, looked huge and like, just not like what he looks like in real life. And we were talking about it. And I said to him, I said, you have my grumpy face on. Like you were literally wearing grumpy cat face. He looked. That photo, the reason it went so viral is because he looked, it looked like he had been. Like an eight year old man. Yeah. And the expression, I was like, what were you doing down the street? Like what happened to you? He literally had my grumpy cat face expression on. And we were cracking up about that. because he always would call me grumpy cat because even before we had
Starting point is 00:32:13 I had that surgery and that happened to me back in our Vayner Pump Rules days I remember we were traveling on one of our group trips I don't remember which one but I was getting like we were at the airport and I was getting like a massage or something and he like got a picture of me from far away and I had the grumpy cat face then
Starting point is 00:32:29 and he was always like sitting it to me like grumpy cat and this was I guess it's because I was just like like I was like relaxing with my eyes closed And we always laughed about Grumpy Cat. And then, of course, I had, like, And then you actually legit had Grumpy Cat face. R-I-P tartar sauce.
Starting point is 00:32:46 Oh, my gosh. You know that was... The cat's name is dad now. Yeah. Oh. Grumpy Cat was one of my, like, favorite things in the world. I miss Grumpy Cat. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:56 That was like a big me. Will you remember me? Of montage of Grumpet. Yeah, montage of Grumpy Cats everywhere. I love it. Oh, my gosh. We need to bring Grumpy Cat back. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:33:06 fall means new backpacks, pumpkin spice, and the dreaded call from the school nurse that you need to come pick up your kid early from school due to reasons. That's exactly why I love Haya and include it in my daily routine as a parent. Haya's entire suite of products help support growing bodies, but I especially love their kids' daily multivitamin. Working alongside pediatricians and nutrition scientists, Haya created a powerful, chewable multivitamin that packs a blend of 12 organic fruits and vegetables. plus 15 essential vitamins and minerals into every chewable. Cruz is such a picky eater, and I'm always so worried that he's not getting the vitamins and nutrients that he needs. So Haya has been such a help with that because he is not eating the vegetables.
Starting point is 00:33:50 I have to make sure he gets the multivitamin and everything, and he is growing like a weed, so it helps me be less stressed and not so worried about what he is actually eating because he is so picky. If bedtime battles and restless nights are keeping you and your kids up at night, adding a magnesium-based vitamin might be the key. Hyas Kids' bedtime essentials is a total game changer. It's not a sleep aid.
Starting point is 00:34:11 It's a non-habit forming chewable with L-thenine B-6, G-A, and chamomil flower extract, plus magnesium and calcium that helps kids relax before bed so they wake up rejuvenated and refreshed. Progressive Casually Insurance Company and affiliates, potential savings will vary, not available in all states. Okay, what's something you've done for attention that you would never admit on camera? Is this a camera? Yeah, I think that you would have been. Then I would.
Starting point is 00:35:32 I was like, wait, also, has there ever been something that I would? wouldn't admit on camera. No, I think you would always admit it. I mean, this past season, let's be real, I didn't have to tell everybody that I sharded. You sharded. You sharded. In the Chili's.
Starting point is 00:35:46 But I did because it happened. To me explaining what a shart was. And I was like, it's when you fart and a little poop comes out. Like, I gave like a definition. I also love that they asked for that. Like, I think I'm pretty sure. Like, America's not that educated or the world isn't. But like, I think they at least know what that word means.
Starting point is 00:36:03 You know what I mean? I don't think we need the dictionary definition. of it. Oh my God. I would say the, you know, honestly, I feel like there's nothing. I really what was the full question? What? Um, okay. What is something you've done for attention
Starting point is 00:36:17 that you would not admit? Oh, done for it. See, that's the thing though. I don't think I do things for attention. I really don't. Yeah. You just are who you are. I think attention happened. Again, attention happens to come to me because I just attract it. But I don't, I don't think I've gone out of my way to do
Starting point is 00:36:34 something for attention. Right. Okay, I understand that. Unless I've like, there's been times where like we need to get somebody out of the club or do something and I've done something for attention to distract. I have done that. Like where I need to get Nicole out a few times of like situations. So I was like, okay, I'm going to go make a stink over here. And then like go that way. I'm sure I've done it for us back in the day, like Vanderpump Rules days.
Starting point is 00:36:57 I'm going to go make a stink. I'm going to go make a stink over here. And not sharding, by the way, not a shart stink. just a regular old stink the southern stink guys like you're not even talking about a tube you're talking about making a scene
Starting point is 00:37:14 exactly thank you all I was like if for those of you maybe that's a southern colloquialism that only we use so just in case that is what we mean by stink oh how funny okay what's the most ridiculous thing
Starting point is 00:37:28 you've ever gotten into an argument over I argue about a lot of lot of ridiculous things. I feel like the thing that would probably be the most ridiculous is Benji and I have a lot of ridiculous arguments about like when we're on vacations or whatever about activities. Like he'll want to spend like he's like, okay, well we came to this like let's just say like we went to Tokyo and we were in this observatory. Okay, well, I've now observed it.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Yeah. I observed Tokyo. Okay, I'm 15 minutes. I don't think I can look at Tokyo much longer. We're the same. Like, I've taken the photos in my head. Yeah. And enough.
Starting point is 00:38:15 For the amount of photos that Benji takes, I'm like, are you an influencer? Yeah, you have enough for both of us. He has, like, all the angles, like, does the videos. I'm like, you're more of an influencer than I am. But then we'll get in, like, the most ridiculous blowout arguments over, like, he'll be like, can you just calm down your ADD for? one second and enjoy where we are and I'm like, no, because now I want to go to the next thing. He's like, there isn't a next thing.
Starting point is 00:38:39 This is what we were doing today. And I was like, well, I can't do this for an hour. And so then we get like stupid arguments over like, you know, whatever. Like he wants to go to the place and actually see it. And we're like, we want to relax and like. He wants to absorb it. Yeah. And no, we cannot enjoy a hotel room.
Starting point is 00:38:56 That is not on the agenda. I love going to a hotel room. Me too. And just sinking and never. Yeah. If I get to choose, I don't want to share hotel rooms with people. I will, obviously, because I'm not, like, that crazy. But, like, now that I'm a mom and, like, everything, like, if I get a chance to have a hotel room, I love having my own.
Starting point is 00:39:15 Because I'm used to cruise or my three dogs or my cat jumping all over my head or kicking me or something. And I just, like, whenever I finally get, like, you know, I only leave for, like, two nights at a time for, like, work or something. And it just is like, oh. Yeah, you want that. You want that little extra. Yeah. No, you deserve. Number one, you deserve that.
Starting point is 00:39:35 I feel like there is. I don't think because I'm pretty, I like to share hotel rooms. I don't really, Kristen and I had to share a bed this past Watch Women's Live when I went with her. Yeah, yeah. It's harder to share a bed. Right. Because then you don't have like, and then she complains about my, as you do, snoring. Yep.
Starting point is 00:39:54 But I swear to God I did not snore this last time and she went to bed first. How would you know? And then she wakes up and says you, I was like, uh-uh, I watched you go to bed. And then I stayed up for an extra hour to make sure that you are still asleep. And then she was like, no, I heard you. I was like, oh, you're a liar. She must have woke up in the middle of the night. Whatever.
Starting point is 00:40:13 But yeah, like, I don't mind sharing a room as long as I have my own bed. Right, like two queens in the room. That's a lot better. Yeah. But I can still do it like for a night or for whatever. I mean, we obviously all do it for like our group cash trips and things. It is, it is a fun. It is fun to have those like, you know, girl chats or whatever.
Starting point is 00:40:31 whenever you're like going to bed and you're just like chatting it up throughout the night you know it is fun to have that too but also we like a conjoining room where we could do that and then shut the door at the end of the that exactly that actually is i like i like that yeah so we still get to have like the um the girls talk at the end of the night and then to do too do and then and we're done yes okay what's one thing that people completely misunderstand about you um that i am Actually, I'm glad you bring this up because I feel like a lot of people, because I am so funny, because I am so sarcastic, because I am so unsurious. And, like, I feel like I'm pretty positive in, like, most scenarios. Yeah, you are.
Starting point is 00:41:18 And I'm patient and I'm whatever. So some people think I'm not serious and I'm not, and it's not smart because I don't think people think I'm dumb. No, we know you're smart. But I think people... We know you're smart. But I don't think people think that like, they think I'm unsurious about everything and like I don't... Maybe have as strong emotions about certain things that you really do.
Starting point is 00:41:41 Yeah. Or like, you know, especially about, you know, not to go into like stuff, but like, you know, kids or about like whatever. I don't think people realize like, again, I can dance on this table and do your taxes and sleep until 12 if I want to or wake up at six. Yeah. It's all based on whatever.
Starting point is 00:42:00 I have going on in my life, but I'm choosing to do it. Exactly. And so that doesn't make me an unsurious or unmotivated person. It makes me, you know, it just makes me me and I'm living in the moment. Exactly. And I think that is what a lot of people see and they just think I'm just this character. When really I have, I'm obviously multifaceted, you just might not, even my friend, they might not see all the serious sides behind the scenes that, you know, in my room when I'm like
Starting point is 00:42:30 contemplating stuff or having really hard discussions with myself versus like you're just seeing the positive and the funny end of whatever. Yeah. Okay. I get it. I agree. What's some piece of reality TV gossip that you know that isn't put that isn't like out there?
Starting point is 00:42:48 Because I feel like you know some stuff about other cast members. I do. I know actually a lot of stuff. I know. No, I know. That's what I'm talking about. I do know a lot of stuff about other stuff. Like I knew Hannah Ferryer was coming back.
Starting point is 00:43:00 to blow deck before she came back. I was so excited and I had to keep that to myself. Yeah. And I didn't even tell my mom and my mom's like a huge blow deck person. I don't know. Do I have a face that just says tell me things? I really do. I think I have a face that just says, hey, tell me your secrets because you know I'll keep them. Yeah. At least for a certain amount of time until, you know, the NDA expires. Then I'll say it. Yeah. Because, you know, knowing the Jesse Solomon thing, that really, that really effed me up because I didn't realize I was throwing a wrench into a timeline. Yeah. So I just thought I was like adding to the gossip.
Starting point is 00:43:37 What actually happened with that? Like you were saw his cousins or what was it? So he was in Mexico or somewhere in, you know, down there and this is about the scimanda thing. And it was in like early January. And he was telling my friend's cousin about things are about to go. down, blah, blah, blah, blah. But it's because they had had an inkling at the Super Bowl. Something was said at the Super Bowl, so then it was right after that, which the timeline got explained later. But when I said it first, Jesse, I guess, publicly had said he didn't
Starting point is 00:44:13 find out until all of it came out. Well, that's true because he didn't find out that it was officially official, like that that really happened. He just had thoughts that something might be going on. And so like, but I... So we did that interview. We did that podcast and you said it there. Because I thought it was coming out. I thought it was out. And we also didn't know then. Because remember, I remember me and Tom Schwartz both being like, oh, we don't believe that.
Starting point is 00:44:36 Like, you know, and you were like, well, I've heard. I was like, excuse me, wait, hold on one second. Let me throw, let me throw a little in here. Yeah, you're like, let me throw a wrench in this. He was saying he just thought it and it wasn't like for sure yet. Right. And then I felt bad for Jesse because I'm like, oh no. I was like, I just met Jesse once at Bravo Clown and we were like, you know, kind of internet friends.
Starting point is 00:44:56 And now I was like, he's probably going to block me. Oh, my gosh. But he did it. Thank you, Jesse, for not blocking me. We're good. What's something you know about reality TV now that you wish you knew before getting involved? I think to always let, number one, I was going to be myself regardless. I don't think that was ever going to be an issue.
Starting point is 00:45:16 I think it's a little skewed because the second I came to L.A., you got, I think it was like within two months, you guys were filming season five of Vanderpump Rules. Yeah. And I was at all of your stuff. Like, I was always involved with reality. Right. So you kind of already seen behind the scenes before you actually got started. And like all and had like all those thoughts already.
Starting point is 00:45:37 I will say the one thing that maybe looking back I wish I knew was like to just stop being so stressed about every little thing because it all works out in the end. Yeah. It all like, and nothing you do is like too bad. Like there's nothing I'm going to do that's like too bad. or unforgivable or whatever. Like, and if you truly learn and move on and whatever, then, you know, you'll be fine. I think it's the stress that gets to you because you just, you think, oh, my God, how's this going to be?
Starting point is 00:46:08 Yeah. Not even portrayed, but like, oh, I didn't mean to do that. I should, no, just let that go. Right. Then once you let that go, I think that it helps you just be more present and not as, like a, you don't need that stress. You don't need that. You don't need that. You don't need it.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Exactly. For no reason. And not only that, like, when we worry about stuff, like, while we're filming, it doesn't even come out for, like, another six to eight months. So, like, we're worried about something that we have no control over. And it, like, puts a, you know, so much anxiety in your head that we, that doesn't need to be there. And it literally, and we've all experienced it. It is something because I think, and, you know, it's funny. And you never know what it's going to look like when it comes out either.
Starting point is 00:46:47 So it's like, I'm figuring out for no reason. And when you have a new person, like Lacey's first season was this. It's like the new people, then they start doing it. They're going through it too. Right. They're going through it. And then when you come back around to the net, then it's like, oh, wait, you then you then understand and you then can have that, like, little piece lifted.
Starting point is 00:47:03 Exactly. Also, I do want to say, are you, do you saw the post? Oh, yeah. You got your Celsius fridge. Guys, Celsius. Yeah. Step up to the plate. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:16 After losing his monster fridge, it was on the valley. He was so upset. I was so upset. Celsius sent him a fully stalked Celsius fridge. Now, this is a crazy. craziest part, the CMO of Celsius saw the hubbub about it and was like, we need to get this man a Celsius fridge. Then they reached out and then they made sure that they got me fully stocked.
Starting point is 00:47:39 I love it. They let me choose what fridge I wanted. It's nicer than your old fridge. Oh my gosh, so much nicer. And it's also like more adult and also. Also more adult. I hate, I don't like Monster. Sorry, Monster.
Starting point is 00:47:51 I don't like Monster. And also it looks like. You drink Celsius all the time. I'm doing Celsius all the time. This is, like, actually legit for you. This is legit for me. So the fact, like, sometimes ask, believe, receive, as Kim Zolsiak would say, they found it.
Starting point is 00:48:04 You got it. I was so happy for you. Thank you. And thank you to Celsius. Well, Zach, I could talk to you all day long, but we're going to end it there because I know you're going to be back soon. Always. I love you.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Thanks for coming on when reality hits. Tell everybody where to find you. As usual, Zach Wickham, Z-A-C-K, Wickham at On Twitter, threads, and Instagram, and then the Zach Wickham on TikTok because some Jim Zier goes before me. He's saying every time.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Every time I'm still mad, insulted that one. All right, well, I love you, babe. And thank you so much, everyone, for tuning in to another episode of when reality hits. We'll see you next week. At first, I didn't think it was real. I woke up to this blinding light, and I was transported to
Starting point is 00:48:57 another place. Pluto TV. Then I heard a voice. Come with me if you want to live. There were thousands of movies and shows, and they were all free. The truth is ours. It's just so beautiful. On Pluto TV, free streaming of Terminator 2, Fringe Arrow, the 100 NX files may cause excitement, loss of sleep, and sudden belief in extraterrestrials. No credit cards or alien encounters necessary. Pluto TV, stream now, pay never.
