Who Are These Podcasts? - Ep746 - Kevin Brennan is Mental! Jerry Banfield, Opie Radio, Chad Zumock, Bryan Callen

Episode Date: July 23, 2026

We start off with Chad Zumock issuing a challenge to Pat Dixon and he includes “anywhere, anytime.” Pat immediately accepts the challenge, calling Chad’s bluff, and makes the Zman look extremely... foolish. Fortunately for Chad, some super famous and successful comics donated to his GoFundMe. Which I totally believe. I received the sad news that John C Dvorak passed away this week. We play a couple of clips from his show, No Agenda, about what a prick Richard Marx is/was. Christian Bladt makes our “Cringe of the Week.” Artie Fletcher does some of the most hack jokes about TV commercials and manscaping you’ll ever hear. We check out Bryan Callen getting embarrassed on Jesse Lee Peterson’s show. Jerry Banfield has been destroyed by the woman he met 9 days ago. Who could have seen that coming?  Fortunately, he also found Jesus, which is convenient because this chick is super into Jesus. Kevin Brennan needs everything outside of Misery Loves Company to be a failure. Any success in entertainment is somehow a slight at Kevin. What are we talking about? Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, Adam Busch's acting career, and Sam Morril's stand up career. I'm not kidding, for real!! Kevin Brennan is mentally ill. Opie is getting ghosted by celebrities and it’s really shaking his confidence. Ron claims he’ll continue to be Opie’s friend even after Ron becomes famous. Opie doesn’t care. Megan and Annie join us for rounds of “Is It Gay?” and “Opie or Burr.” Megan has some recent Spotify comments, Annie reads some new reviews, and we finish with your voicemails. Starting point is 00:00:00 Recently, our company's softball team lost the big game by one run. Then Dale tried to console us with the quote, Winning isn't everything. Well, Dale and I are very different. I get early payout from Bed 365. If my team goes up big, I get paid out instantly, even if they blow the lead later. Sound familiar, Dale?
Starting point is 00:00:21 Thanks, Beth 365. Must be 19 or older Ontario only. Please play responsibly. If you have questions or concerns about your gambling or the gambling of someone close to you, please go to Connectsontario.cate and C-A-T-Supply. I told them in the strongest of words to just do it. You see, this is a we just do it kind of show. Are you a boner guy?
Starting point is 00:00:44 Oh, I was a boner guy. You know what, I missed penis. What are you talking about? I'm the one who should apologize. Is it going to be absolutely riveting? Is it going to change your life by any stretch? Probably not, but it's going to be at least entertaining, okay? By the way, for those people,
Starting point is 00:01:01 that are in the back, remember to shut the fuck up. Cuzz, Cuzzaro, Cuzzaro, Slapparoonie. It's showtime. WATP, WATP. Our Patreon episode, which you can also get if you're a YouTube member that we just dropped on Sunday is fan fucking task. We went back and watched Sondering John from the Howard Stern show talking about his hemorrhoids and how those affect his diet.
Starting point is 00:02:13 And it was very funny that John thinks hemorrhoids are like freckles. Yeah, you don't have hemorrhoids, I do. What do you get to do? Exactly. That's hilarious. But then when he was up against Gary Garver, John plays this voicemail where Gary Garver's going, John, you just tell me where to meet you. I will beat your ass.
Starting point is 00:02:30 I will wipe the fucking street with you. Culver City, I'll be there. And then John goes, oh, watch this. Royce. I'm going to call back Gary Galover. and really widened him up. And he's like, hey, we're cool, though, right? Like, you're not bad at me.
Starting point is 00:02:42 Immediately just starts groveling. And they make out, it's like, good stuff. Anyway, very good segments. Living in the past with stuttering John Melendez, episode 25 of that. So if you want to join our Patreon, Patreon, Patreon, On the Compsych Who Are These Podcasts, get the entire back catalog of all the episodes we've done. And the living in the past really are a treat. They're very fun.
Starting point is 00:03:01 You know, it's nice to go back and revisit what a boob John wants before the dabalverse. Yeah, and slightly more confident. a lot more confident and slightly more self-deprecating. Yeah. Slightly. Slightly. Every now and again, he'll make a joke and like, oh, that's not the job I know. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Also, we encourage our listeners. Give us five stars wherever you review podcasts and then shit all over us in the comments section. You can support this program today if you're watching live on YouTube by going to supertip. g.g. And when you do that, you support us. You contribute to the show and you stick it to KB. That's the most important part. of all of us.
Starting point is 00:03:38 We gotta stick it to the enemies by going to supertip.g.g. On today's show. An interesting story about Richard Marks discovered in the wild. Someone on this channel makes cringe of the week. I wonder who. Ardy Fletcher has a hilarious chunk about manscaping. Brian Kellen went on a show with Jesse Lee Peterson and was wildly prepared for that. Jerry Banfield met a Christian girl nine days ago and has already found Jesus.
Starting point is 00:04:05 Kevin Brennan's mental illness is on full-discipline. play as he bets against Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. Opie tries to be a, or tries to get a celebrity on his show and gets ghosted. Megan and Annie will be here for is it gay, Simon's Opie or Burr, voicemails. But first, Chad Zumach has been debating enemies lately. And now he's actively challenging his rivals. Pat Dixon is the latest target for Chad. And Chad really stepped in it with this one.
Starting point is 00:04:36 I know people have covered it, but I'm very excited to talk about this. Meanwhile, Pat's living, he's living on government benefits right now. Pat, I'm telling you right now, Pat, if you want to go down this road of trolling and being smarter than everyone and project, people have things on you. They dig it up and send it to me. If you want to play this game, we can play this game, Pat. That's such an Opie right there. Oh, you want to go there?
Starting point is 00:05:04 I know some things. It's like, well, then just fucking say them then. Because you want people's imagination to run wild. I know some things about you. And if you guys keep fucking with me, I'll say what they are. Sounds like you don't. Yes. You know?
Starting point is 00:05:18 Chad dug up Facebook on me, you remember? I remember he's just like, and I got some news about producer Chris, bartender at an Italian restaurant. Well, yeah. Like the animated poster that represents the show, he's holding onto a glass of red wine. This isn't a mystery. But watch out, Pat. Chad's got some info on you. You better cool it. Pat, if you want to dance, we can dance.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Anywhere anytime. This is great. Anywhere anytime. What does dancing mean, though, Jen? Bring that Gino anger towards me. I would love it. I welcome it, Pat. Anywhere anytime.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Name it. Any level. Whether it's podcasting, making money, the gym, comedy. Name it. Any level. Wow. Even the gym.
Starting point is 00:06:06 It's good to know. All right. I'll see you at Walmart. What about bike riding? He's got me there too. Fuck. What do I have chat on? Debate.
Starting point is 00:06:17 Pat, I'm here. What's your excuse? I will pay you to come on and talk this shit. Where was that offer for me? Yeah, right. What the fuck? You agreed too quickly. I have no shit.
Starting point is 00:06:31 I got to talk to my agent about that one. We really dropped the ball. I've had it with losers like you. Losers, bottom feeders, husies. I like that Chad's not pretending like hughy doesn't have a much more successful show than he does. You know these bottom feeders like hussy? You should try to be a loser like me.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Right. Because that's what you are. You're a hughy. So then Pat Dix is in the chat, Buck 99. Send me the link. DM it. I remember Chad just saying anywhere anytime.
Starting point is 00:07:06 So I'm sure he's going to send the link right over to Pat Dixon. Yes. And we can get this thing going. Send me the link. Uh, DM it. Whoops. Someone called your bluff, retard. His tone changed.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Yeah. Oh, Pat Dixon. So it's here? Oh, shit. Who is this P. Dixon? It's going to be anyone. Pat, I will destroy you. You understand that.
Starting point is 00:07:27 Cool. You try to scare him away? Do you think he's going to send another buck 99 to that? Okay, never mind. Sorry. I didn't realize. I don't want to see you cry. Pat, let's set it up.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I can't do it today. Oh, okay. So anywhere anytime means nothing, apparently. I can't do it today. Today seems like it's anytime. Your channel seems like it's anywhere. I don't know. I don't have any contact with you.
Starting point is 00:07:52 I literally have to go. You're talking to him right now. I know, right. Asking for an email address. He's out there. He'll put him in the chat. How would I ever get a message to you? He goes, I got to go.
Starting point is 00:08:06 I'm very, very busy today, but otherwise we've got another bank appointment. We'll do this. Pat, this isn't an out? Because you're so not intimidating and you're such a piece of shit. You're such a loser. No, it's not an out. It's on the link that. I would love to do this.
Starting point is 00:08:24 You don't seem enthusiastic about it at this point. And you're the one who introduced the word intimidated. Nobody was using that. All of a sudden, that's you. And now he wants to buy some time. Listen to this. 100%. If you're serious, let's do it.
Starting point is 00:08:39 If he's serious, oh shit, he sent the deal. Is everyone bluffing in this game? Everyone's got King High? Come on, shut up. Okay, not today. If I'm going to do this, we need time. Oh, that's the opposite of what you just said, Chad.
Starting point is 00:08:56 All right, here's the deal. I will debate you, but I probably should prepare this time because I got embarrassed by Cumbia and Carl, and I should probably be prepared. paired with stuff, Pat Dixon's probably smarter than me and better at stuff that I am. It really does hammer home that the worst qualities of these people that we follow all come from Kevin Brennan. Yes.
Starting point is 00:09:17 That whole thing was not Chad at all. That's not how he talks. It was all directly how Kevin Brennan talks. And what we're going to hear later, same words, same threats, same empty vessel, same, just kidding, I'm not really going to do it. He'll never go on anyone else's show. And Kevin's big word. is clowns everyone's a clown everyone christopher nolan's a clown i'm a clown i'm in good company all of a sudden
Starting point is 00:09:41 and the fact that you know chad's on here calling people out this fucking clown with his god damn go fund me has decided okay i'm going to troll everyone now so now he's doing this new thing he's getting all this attention for his go fund me and it started with 8300 bucks and he raised it to 10 thousand people called him out he's like what there's a slider on the thing i hit a button i mean go funny he was telling me i had to do it so you know what he's supposed to do so now what he's done he's like you know what i'm going to lean into this everyone's talking about it so now he's got a video with him and godfrey on the front and he's looking for $14,000 he's raised it again but here's the deal he's faking these donations to himself he's up to $12,105 and the donations are coming from
Starting point is 00:10:29 Nikki Glazer offline, Daniel Tosh offline, William Borgeson offline. So these are all the recent addition, recent donations, WB, offline. So it's just fake, as usual. That's Chad's thing. As Anthony said, he's a thief and a liar. What's the goal here?
Starting point is 00:10:54 What's 14,000 now? But if they're fake and he's donating it himself, you're saying it's like his own money, he's putting back into it. I don't think you have to actually give any money. I think you can just pretend that someone gave you $500. Oh, really? Yeah, you know to prove it.
Starting point is 00:11:06 Just like when he put Godfrey in there with a $100 Venmo and the guy, he's like, I don't even use Venmo. But he put it on there. So. Why is he doing that? Because he's trying to get people to talk about him. Oh, okay. Well, I guess it's working.
Starting point is 00:11:18 It is. It's fine. I'm just saying it's not that impressed. I'm not impressed. You know, I have seen people be like, no, he wants $14, that's what Channwant. See what's like, what's outrageous. Like that. No.
Starting point is 00:11:29 What's great. is, I hope he raises $20,000 or $30,000. I want to see what garbage special he produces for this amount of money and watch everyone who gave him money get annoyed with him and pissed off, or the opposite, got their money's worth because they wanted to see him fail, which I have a feeling is a large contingent of the people who have donated to him. I actually got some bad news today. I've been listening to a podcast for over 10 years called No Agenda, the No Agenda Show.
Starting point is 00:11:58 and it's a bit my favorite podcast for a very long time hosted by Adam Curry, former MTV VJ and many other things as well. And of course, John C. DeVorek, John C. DeVorek had a heart attack earlier in the year, but was in the hospital when he had it. So he was treated immediately. He got out not too long after he passed away this week. I was out riding my bike just this morning listening to No Agenda. It's a great show to listen to out for a ride. And interestingly enough, sometimes things like this happen. I was listening to No Agenda last week, and they got into a discussion that I thought would be
Starting point is 00:12:35 worthy of clipping for this program, WATP, so I'd already had these clips ready to go when I got the news this afternoon that John C. DeVorek has passed. Anyway, rest in peace, John C. DeVork, I am going to miss that guy. He was on this show with Croge years ago. He came out as a guest, which was really cool of him. He's had an amazing career or had an amazing career in a lot of different facets, a technologist, a journalist. He did a lot of things. Anyway, the point is, we're going to miss him. And Adam Curry was recently talking about potentially writing an autobiography. And it's funny that this guy's name came up in this discussion. I just can't slander anybody. Well, that's easy enough. Well, but I got to tell my Richard Mark story. Unless they're dead.
Starting point is 00:13:19 I got to tell my Richard Mark's story. You know, is he dead? No, but he's litigious. He's very He's crazy. Richard Marks is crazy. He don't even mention him in the book. But it's a great story. No. Well, why don't you call him up? No. Tell him if you can tell the story.
Starting point is 00:13:35 I don't need his permission to tell the story, do I? Well, if you don't want to get sued, maybe. Well, see, now I don't want to do a book. Boy, you're easy. What a pushover. The worst thing about Richard Marks, who I had a... I don't even know. You're talking about something,
Starting point is 00:13:54 and nobody knows who you're talking about. Are you kidding me? Richard Marks in the 80s and 90s had number one hits back to back. You know, just because you don't know. It was the Marks brothers? Or what are you talking about? Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:09 I will play you a Richard Marks song. He sings? He's a singer? Yes, he's a singer. So that's a John Z. DeVorek who passed away at the age of 80 this week. He's not familiar with Richard Marks. I'm not surprised. but of course, Adam's very familiar with Richard Marks because he was a MTV VJ
Starting point is 00:14:27 when MTV first got on all of the cable networks and became popular. And so here is his story about Richard Marks he wants to write about in his autobiography. Oh, this is after he finds right here waiting for you and plays that for John. And John's like, I don't know what this is. This is this song, which is very funny. But this is the story. Anyway, so I made a joke about his hair once on MTV, which was a little. It was okay.
Starting point is 00:14:53 You know, I had hair. You had long hair, short hair, or bald. He had big hair. He had big hair like you had. Yeah. And I said, there's Richard Marks with his hair at number four on the top 20 count down. He tried to get me fired. He literally tried to get me fired.
Starting point is 00:15:08 So Adam Kerr just had a quick remark. And Richard Marks' reaction was, fire that, man. That guy's always been a prick. He's always been mad with power. And it's too bad we've discovered his podcast, but he's kind of softened up a little bit. Yes. You know, he's like, him and Daisy Fletters are like, yeah, we don't go on Twitter anymore. Let's get us too fired up.
Starting point is 00:15:27 Rather just have a tequila to go to bed. What was he thinking? Richard Marks and his hair, I don't even know if that's good or bad. Let's just get him fired. Yeah, it's not even a dis. What if it's like a great, he loves his haircut. He's famous for it. It could have been a compliment.
Starting point is 00:15:41 Literally had the same quaffed up hair as Richard Marks at that time. So it doesn't even make sense. I don't think Richard Marx has grown more confident or relaxed. I think he takes it even harder. he's just better at pretending he's fine. Yeah, you're probably right. We should make fun of him more. I read that loud and clear, Adam.
Starting point is 00:15:59 Let's go. So it's funny because Adam's still following Richard Marks to some degree and brings this up to, you know, John has a quick line here, but there's no idea what he's talking about. For what? Because I made fun of him. He went to...
Starting point is 00:16:16 How did you make fun of him? You said he had air. That's, I'm telling you. He went to Abby Conowitz. He went to Rick. The irony to be if he's bald now. No, he's not. Well, no, the hard part is, you know, he's married to?
Starting point is 00:16:30 You won't know her either. Daisy Fuentes. Now, you don't know, Daisy. Fuentes is his sister? You're hopeless. This book is not for you, okay? This book is not for you. That's correct.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I would read Adam Curry's book. He's loved a fascinating wife. He was a multi, multi-millionaire after he left MTV. He owned companies that flew helicopters around. He's a pilot himself. He married royalty in the Netherlands where he grew up. He's had many different fascinating lives. If you've ever heard him on the Joe Rogan experience,
Starting point is 00:17:01 he's been a guest five times on there. He's got some interesting theories on things. But rest in peace, John C. DeVorek, JCD, great guy, very funny podcaster. We'll be missed. You know, it won't be missed is this guy. Bridge of the week. This one comes up from Adam Thoreau, who was watching. Who are these broadcasters?
Starting point is 00:17:21 Is that what you predicted on this one? Okay. So we make fun of John, or at least we used to. When John didn't realize that he wasn't looking into a mirror, it could never fix his hair correctly. Always went to the wrong side every time. It was more of a visual, but Christian does this three times in a row, which is almost hard to do.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Five dollars from Jessica. Jessica Borkman. Oh, I didn't, yeah, you're right. I do have a car. I do have a Superman. So he's got a little curl on the side of his head. Reach his fort with the left hand or the right hand, I guess it would be. Nope, wrong side.
Starting point is 00:18:01 So it goes with the left hand all the way across to the wrong side again. Couldn't help himself. We love you, that Christian. I was on who are these broadcasters yesterday. Lucy Tightbox was the guest. They had to make her defend Taco Bell giving people the shits. and I went on to talk about Whitney Cummings. Whitney Cummings had a weird video,
Starting point is 00:18:23 a reel that she put up from her bathtub. It was fucking bizarre. Anyway, check out who are these broadcasters this week. It was a great episode that I was a part of, and our friend Lucy was on there as well. Guys, I mentioned that we have Artie Fletcher's special, no shame, backdoor Benji sent this in. Let's get into it.
Starting point is 00:18:46 I think we're more like Monty Python. Flyin' Circus, we do bits and pizzas, bits and pieces and pieces. That's a good one. If you remember where we left off, Ardy was telling this story about, he's on an airplane. There's a guy with a turban on in front of him. And the guy wanted to get up used a bathroom. And he was like, fuck you, you piece of shit. Sit your ass down. He's holding him down. He's like the hero of this weird story. We just assumed that anyone with a different culture that is, is bad. And then he's, he's like, he's a piece of. And then he's, he's a piece of. went into that weird transition. It's like, so I want to charge you for everything, right? So I want to pick up from where we left off.
Starting point is 00:19:25 I think I'd be the best way to do it. You don't understand. I have to make a number two. We'll pull that diaper off your head. Try shit in that, you piece of shit. Okay. The fucking airlines charge you for everything. I go, can I have a tissue?
Starting point is 00:19:46 I'll be dollar. You fucking lesbian, Skyhorn. Give me a tissue. It was a dude So the joke was They need a dollar for a tissue And so he goes
Starting point is 00:20:04 You fucking lesbian sky whore Give me a tissue And then he goes And it was a dude He was ahead of his time It was 2012 It's when this came out Back when
Starting point is 00:20:19 Airlines were charging a dollar for a tissue We discovered last week that, or uncovered or released, that this is sweetened. Very, very, very heavily. And now, whenever I listen to this, that's all I'm listening to. It's a remarkable job with a million
Starting point is 00:20:36 different styles of laughs, but it's fascinating to see which one that person thinks is the punchline. Because some things just get nothing, and other things get huge reactions, and it's all pretty random to me. I think this guy is making punchlines where there aren't even ones that already knew about.
Starting point is 00:20:52 The guys just, there's a pause. I'm going to fill it. Yeah, it's similar to when you watch two broke girls or Big Bang Theory or any of these shows where you hear it without, you see it without the laugh track, like, oh, there's zero jokes in this. I thought there's some. Yeah, it's just people talking and then sitting in silence, waiting. It's so weird. So he's going to get into a run of jokes about dead musicians here. And then there's a weird transition into television commercials that you think are odd. So if they were not going to see
Starting point is 00:21:24 You're not going to see on TV Like you're not going to hear Hey look there's going to be a Beechie's reunion tour Okay The Mugies took the last train at Clarksville Donna Summer had her last dance We can do this all day They're dropping like flies
Starting point is 00:21:49 So now that insults injury they go, oh, you know, let's fuck with the American public since they're so stupid already. We'll sell them commercials, do little characters. That's just suck them in. Affleck. Aflack. Oh, look.
Starting point is 00:22:06 It's a duck. Let's buy the insurance. Did you guys understand that in transition at all? Nope. Not because Americans are so stupid. There's a cute duck on Athlac commercials. And also the guy in charge of the applause didn't know what was off with
Starting point is 00:22:22 No, and he just dropped it down to silence so you could actually hear what the room sounded like, and it's everyone talking over him. Yeah, let's listen to that again. That's a good point, because this gets really odd. So now that insult injury, they go, oh, you know, let's fuck with the American public since they're so stupid already. We'll sell them commercials and little characters. That's just sucking it. A-whack. A-v-wack.
Starting point is 00:22:50 He goes, there was nothing before that. There was nothing. Yeah, I'll have the nachos. Yeah, right. Chicken. And he just goes aflack. Boom. That's not a punchline.
Starting point is 00:23:01 No. I've been to comedy shows before. I swear to Christ, I've been there before. That is not a punchline. I couldn't believe last week that it was sweetened because he's so relaxed. Like, he doesn't look like he's bombing. And it's because no one's listening. He doesn't care.
Starting point is 00:23:15 He's just taking his time. No one's applauding or laughing or booing. They're just having their night out. And he happens to be talking. So we can take his time and be relaxing. next. Oh, look, he's a duck. Let's buy insurance.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Are we that stupid? A get-go, this little annoying green thing. That's why I like what were you people doing Florida. You see one? Gone. And it came in, man. What an insult? What an insults the society?
Starting point is 00:23:48 You're a king of and you can't talk. You could have. You know, you're like a greeter here in a Walmart. I'm sorry, were these commercials supposed to be historically accurate? Is this over his head? Can you make these cave bed are talking? Yeah, it's the joke. I'm not buying insurance from a duck.
Starting point is 00:24:10 Well, right. Are you crazy? From an insurance agent. The duck doesn't answer the phones. Oh. So there's that. I was kind of hoping. If already ever saw the Flintstones, he'd be blown away.
Starting point is 00:24:20 Yeah. They're communicating with each other and working 90s. five jobs. It's not what cavemen were doing at all. This is ridiculous. You couldn't push a car with your feet.
Starting point is 00:24:28 That's ridiculous. Yeah, I wouldn't go faster. So if you guys remember the punchline, it was so easy a caveman can do it. And the cavemen get offended every time. They're like, well,
Starting point is 00:24:38 you guys think cavemen are stupid, right? That was like the whole fucking point of it. Right. And already because I was just like, you know, cavemen couldn't even speak English. Like, well,
Starting point is 00:24:44 yeah. Yeah, we're way ahead of you. We're way ahead of that. So then he comes up with what he thinks would be a better commercial using these cavemen for a guy, go. Pop their brains out than eight them.
Starting point is 00:25:27 So easy, a gay man can do it. That's a good commercial. I'll buy your insurance. If only there was more rape in these Geico commercials. And cannibalism. Definitely cannibalism. We're going to need some more of that. It's 30 seconds.
Starting point is 00:25:42 How about you what story can we tell here? Dummy. His idea was the K-mentioned clubbed the women, assay them immediately. Yeah. And then I don't know if they're cooking them or not. I don't know if cavemen how they felt about fire. It depends on which period we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:26:02 Just eating them raw. I'm not sure. I prefer my women raw personally. But that's just me. I'm not a caveman. It's because they're easy. It's a beautiful play on words. It's clever and maybe a little above our heads.
Starting point is 00:26:13 I love it. I love it. There's commercials that he can't comprehend. Or I'm sorry. I should say that differently. Commercials that we can comprehend. Because those are the ones that he's confused by, but he thinks these will be better commercials for us.
Starting point is 00:26:27 See, if you want us to buy stuff, okay? What you've got to do is you've got to make it easier. If you know, it's commercials that we actually, we can comprehend it. And you're not going to turn your television on, see, like Michael Vick for PetSmart. Okay. Are here in Florida, Casey Anthony,
Starting point is 00:26:48 with Daycare Center. Right. Pennsylvania. and Jerry Sondisky for Boys Clubs of America. He's proud of himself. Oh, he's proud of himself for that child molestation joke. Remember that guy who was banging those little kids? It'd be funny if he was representing like a daycare center.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Why do you suppose he had to sit down for this? Same thing I was thinking. Dude, he would have fallen down laughing. Oh, okay. He's slapping. knee. Yeah, he knew what was coming up. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:27:24 He knew this was going to be one that was going to catch him. It's too funny. Well, I know what Adam Bush is thinking. I hope there's a lot more examples of this. Don't worry. You guys get the premise? You find a spokesperson who's done something that's illegal
Starting point is 00:27:37 and that's shunned by society. Then you make them represent a company that does a thing that's like similar to what they did that was wrong. Yes. I bet he can't with a few more, right? Why not? Let's go. gloves
Starting point is 00:27:51 Michael Jackson for toys of us fuck you that's funny Jeffrey Dahmer for head and shoulders for Monica whiskey for spot remover Mike Tyson
Starting point is 00:28:19 doing Shakespeare Unicester Unicrous and Rney's ex-wife for I-Hop the last joke was the only one that was clever because iHop doesn't sell prosthetic legs it's pancakes that you can get internationally according to them
Starting point is 00:28:52 I don't know if that's true the point is not that that IHop is actually a decent joke for Pablo Courtney's ex-wife all of the rest of them were so lazy he goes Michael Jason for Toys R Us fuck you that's funny there's literally
Starting point is 00:29:05 the dumbest street joke and the oldest street joke why did Michael Jackson shop at Toys R Us here kids were pants were half off. Way more clever and interesting than, hey, do you hear about Michael Jackson the spokesperson for toys or us? Because kids are there.
Starting point is 00:29:21 Yeah, right. But did you hear the laugh track go from boo to, oh, okay, when he said, fuck it, it's funny. Yeah, you're right, it's funny. Yeah, good point. Yeah, they went ap shit. You're right, Arne.
Starting point is 00:29:32 I'm convinced. You know, my immediate reaction was wrong. Thank you for shaving me on that one. I appreciate it. And that famous product, Shakespeare. Yeah, what was that? Mike Tyson for Shakespeare? There was like Ludacris as owl or what did he say?
Starting point is 00:29:48 I don't, I didn't understand that one at all. And it's got no insight on it. I was hoping our Thespian would be able to help us out, but apparently not. You know, Shakespeare's hard to pronounce their tough words. So he's, that's the Mike Tyson saying, I guess he said he thinks would be funny. He's reaching for all of it. It's all such a weird reach of a connection that it's too much to think about
Starting point is 00:30:12 to be funny. Yeah. Yeah. And it all started with dead musicians. And now we've gotten here. Well, don't worry, we transitioned into more hack jokes.
Starting point is 00:30:22 We've got to talk about Mexicans. El Paso, Texas. It's a city that's pretty close to Mexico. So there's a certain type of Mexican that's hanging out there, and he's going to explain it to us. So in El Paso, Texas, and they got these fucking Mexicans are like this big. It looked like opalobos.
Starting point is 00:30:39 They got the big white heads. Don't my fucking round. The cameraman was not ready for this. He's got up. He was sitting down for that last bit. Now he gets up and walks off screen. I think Artie's going to be there for a while. I can go get a sandwich.
Starting point is 00:30:57 They got the big white heads. Don't my fuck around. And when they're drunk and they walk. Fuck you. I'll push them over. You come on. Yeah, it's funny. So did you guys get that joke?
Starting point is 00:31:19 So these Mexicans are small like umpalupas. And then they walk around funny because they're small when they're drunk. But then when he's drunk, he then pushes them down. And then they can't get up for some reason. Like a turtle for some reason. Gotcha. Yeah. He's pushing him down when he's not drunk to.
Starting point is 00:31:39 I'm not sure why they wouldn't be able to get up. I don't know why the size of the person. Well, whatever. That has to be the fifth time he said that's funny. He does say it a lot, yeah. It's his please clap. This is some low-hanging fruit if you've ever heard it. Of course, you're thinking Mexico, you know, because of the Mexicans that we were just talking about, you're thinking cockfights.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Oh, yeah. And what's the funny word in that phrase, do you think? Oh, Arty will let us know. Come on, it comes out to me. He goes, hey, me hoes. Do you want to go to a cock fight? But fucking New York, I don't even know what a cock. I got a cock and I'll go, but that's what I'm going to.
Starting point is 00:32:21 I don't know how to get a pan out, but I'll go. They stand around a ring, and they go, go. So I'm excited. I don't want to fucking miss that. I drop my pants because I don't know. Two in a row. Guys, you know that cock doesn't just mean chicken. It's also a word for penis.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Yep. We knew that the first time you dropped that joke And the second time That's the easiest jokes I've ever heard There's no way people are laughing at that I'm excited I don't want to fucking miss I draw my pants Because I don't know
Starting point is 00:32:52 You know I'm not sure Guy comes over gives me 100 bucks What's that boy He goes no one bet on that I'm telling you That's not how gambling works The guy gives him 100 bucks
Starting point is 00:33:05 He goes no one bet on that Okay No one bet on a lot of things What do you mean? Yeah I would be rich. Right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:12 Every time you drop your pants in public. Yes. Someone gives you $100. Oh, it's the cock fairy. See, now I'm doing it. It's fucking hack. Two funny words in that. That's true.
Starting point is 00:33:24 Yeah, it's like gay guys with the cocks. Which is like gay guys. Holy shit. From now on, when I go into a bar and I see the bartender's a little light in the loafers, look at that cock fairy. People are going to stand up and a play. Yeah. Because they also are in the R.D. Fletcher's segment.
Starting point is 00:33:40 Why are the cops here? My life's not as cool as I'm pretending it is. I mostly get booed. All right. You guys ready for a big chunk on manscaping? If you're not familiar, this is where you trim your pubs. You know? Get it nice and tight looking good for the ladies or the cock fighters.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Go to cock fairies. Cock fairies. I already forgot what the thing was. I'm being bad at this. So this is a big chunk that already's put together. and delivers masterfully. So I come to the floor and I'm looking for seven years now.
Starting point is 00:34:18 I'm saving this bird. And I'm finding out a lot. Okay, I'm learning new things. With this girl for the first time I dropped my pants, she looks at she goes, yeah, that's probably not going to work. I go, if you play with it, it will grow. That's how it works.
Starting point is 00:34:39 No, well, you got a man escape. that's not the fucking flying poor guy I do not see that man scared I live up north it's fucking cold in the winter I need shrubs and tree I'm not a fucking tree here
Starting point is 00:34:58 okay I can't think of a more hack joke than that drop my pants to the woman said that's not going to work oh I need a mask I don't know what that is never heard of that
Starting point is 00:35:11 Oh, I'm from the north. It's cold there. Not in hotel rooms. Not in my car. But I've been driving around looking for a lady of the night. Keep it nice and warm. But I believe he had his pants at his ankles
Starting point is 00:35:24 and was just having this conversation with him. Right. Yeah, yeah. It's like, no, I'll eventually get hired. Like, yeah, okay. Is he fucking in the outdoors during the winter? He might have to. He might.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Fucking kidding to me. Now I'm like, who I ask. I go to my hair cutter. Can you, uh, get that answer? Do you say I go to my hair cutter? He did. I mean, a barber would have been the right word to use. I go to my hair cutter, I says.
Starting point is 00:36:00 Yeah, after I leave my car fixer. What do you do? Nope, I don't do that. I'll do the anal bleaching, mother. Do you imagine saying anal bleaching people are like, Whoa! Too far! This guy's wild!
Starting point is 00:36:17 The fuck out of here. I wish a plaz guy did a standing O for that. So, like, who am I ask? Like, your mother? I mean, she saw it first. Okay, mom's a little older stretch and beat up. Yeah, I don't know when we do that thing. There's no way I'm doing that.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Waxing. That's what he's referring to. You know, that thing. It's getting I told my mother her mustache on. It's getting worse. Oh,
Starting point is 00:36:57 yeah. It's getting way worse. Did he say put her mustache on? Mm-hmm. Is that what he said? Let's hear that again. What it sounds like? He's talking about waxing.
Starting point is 00:37:07 So, of course, he's got to go to the, you know, my mom was Italian. She had to wax her mustache. We do that thing. There's no way I'm doing that. It's fucking, I told my mothergrocer, pulling her mustache on. He wanted to say off, and he said on. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:37:23 Pulling her mustache on. He's like, oh, I'm losing him. That's Italian. That's fucking wrong. He goes, she's Italian. That's fucking wrong. So I go and I buy this thing in the peanut. it's called.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Yeah, I got a CBS. I'm like, fucking weed whacking man. Fuck. Now your shit looks bigger. You're like, whoa. Great. But what you want to go tell us
Starting point is 00:38:01 is the repercussion what happens when it grows fucking back. Okay. This is so sweet and so obvious. Because that's not the punchline. So, weed whack or hack, whatever.
Starting point is 00:38:14 So then he goes, the repercussions are. You don't know what's going to happen. They don't tell us. You know, the guy at, where did he go, CBS?
Starting point is 00:38:22 Didn't tell him. The repercussions is when it grows back. And he'll go, well, I know about that. Do you know what he's talking about? No. Adam?
Starting point is 00:38:30 It grows back harder, more difficult to, like, less soft is what the saying is. No. Here it is. Okay. But what are you going to tell us? is the repercussion
Starting point is 00:38:44 when it happens when it grows fucking back You fucking itchy You can't stop it. Itchy. Okay. Itchy when it grows back.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Now what would be a funny scenario when your crotch is itchy? Where'd be a funny place to be while you're itching your crotch? Correct, church. Here we go. I don't care where you are. I'm in church.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Talking to the priest, they go, so pardry, how do you go? That fucking manscape is So the conversation you have With his priest is like, hey, what's up, man? I have to go, Padre. Cool.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Good stuff. I never had desire to do stand-up, but I'm doing it at that club. Those people lose their minds. Those people fucking love it. All you got to do is touch your crotch a little bit. I like when the cameraman had to zoom out because he was like itching his crotch.
Starting point is 00:39:37 Like, I have no idea what he was doing. Oh, he's itching his crotch because he said his crotch is itchy. That makes sense. Thanks for showing us that. I better get another close-up of the chair. Whoever Sweeten that really deserves an award because he used every single kind of laugh possible and made it work. Like, where do I find mostly offended but slightly enjoying it? And then segue into offended but now enjoying it.
Starting point is 00:40:01 And he knows where it is on the shelf to pull it down, put it in there. I have a theory. Is it possible on the same show was Jim Fawranteen or Bob Levy? It just recorded the entire show. It's the punchline now. I just got the laughter and response from Bob or Jim was able to use that to make it all work.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Whatever was, the back and forth between already got it and just like more. What do you mean more? Right, right, right. More of that. Yeah, yeah. More.
Starting point is 00:40:27 People don't realize that's the punchline. Athlete's not a punchline. It is a fucking punchline. All right. You got it. Sorry. We should definitely get into what's going on with my buddy, Jerry Banfield.
Starting point is 00:40:38 I love to eat peanut butter. I love to eat honey. And I also love to eat beans. Beans. I look great. I feel great. Beans. I did a bonus show on the creepoff channel, also on Dick Masterson's channel because we were doing the Weight Watchers, a series that we do.
Starting point is 00:41:07 And we had Tab Bert as a special guest down there. Before the show started, I was talking to Tab in the green room. And I mentioned that I think I need a better bumper for Jerry. and Tab threatened my life. Oh. He said, I love that bumper. I jammed to it all the time. I don't want to problems, Tab, all right, my bad.
Starting point is 00:41:25 I didn't mean to start a flight with you. This would be the third time he's threatened your life. I know. Ed's got my channel taken down on top of it. What a friend. Yeah. It's kind of a jerk. Well, I don't know if this is a new bumper,
Starting point is 00:41:38 but Ed, the editor, our audio editor on this program, put together a new parody song. I've not listened to. knew it because I trust Dad. Let's check it out. Dude, I feel a little crazy. Why do I have so much emotion about this woman? That's crazy. You just met her. It doesn't make any sense. Jerry's smile.
Starting point is 00:42:03 Why did his busy eyes? Seems the day went great. 86 night suicide. I could have swore. He wasn't into girls I thought he loved the trends and kissing many guys Balls are full of gum Just one hug and he's done
Starting point is 00:42:35 Barely half employed but prowling For women Cherry Benfield cried Half a dozen times. Now, Jerry Ben, dear, please. To this one good feeling. Very well done.
Starting point is 00:43:04 And he plays all the guitar parts as well. Very talented. Impressive. Yes. I love White Lion. I never want to hear that again. Kirby Ice says that's a power bottom ballad. There you go.
Starting point is 00:43:17 I see what you did there. I got some information from the epitomizer. I got an email talking about this Instadate platform. Remember how he was talking about Insta.date date? Yeah. So it offers matchmaking and date guarantee services with flat monthly fees and per booking charges. Here's how the cost breaks down. It's always a fun part about Jerry Banfield saga.
Starting point is 00:43:39 Basic plan is 7499. It includes five companion connections, 50 messages, and three in-person dates. tokens to activate these features must be purchased separately. So it's like give us, it's almost like only fans, or so I've heard, you pay for the ability
Starting point is 00:43:56 to pay these women more money to actually do stuff for you. The premium plan is $134.99 a month. And the date booking fee is an additional flat fee of $80 to $150. It's paid on top of your membership to guarantee a specific date. So you know that Jerry's got the premium plan.
Starting point is 00:44:14 He's paying for all the date booking fee. he's buying all the tokens. He's tokening it up over there on instidate. And we have an update on Jerry's love life. But before I get into that, something happened to Jerry and, you know, I'm not real familiar with AA. Try to avoid it.
Starting point is 00:44:34 But when you have a sponsor, it's a very important job. You've committed to helping this person get through tough times or just being there for them and making sure that they stay on the street and narrow and when they don't and when they falter, you get the support they need to get back on track. Well, something happened to Jerry with his AA sponsor that I've never heard of.
Starting point is 00:44:56 Afterwards, I talked to my, well, now former sponsor. I told him how excited I was that I met this woman and, you know, how excited I am about life. And he, meanwhile, has had like a surgery and he's been stuck in hospitals and then stuck in his, you know, condo by himself most of the day, barely able to move around. his world, my world are very different, and he's just, he seems pretty miserable and struggling
Starting point is 00:45:20 and lonely right now. Yeah, so you're thinking, dude someone to talk to. But you're so insufferable. Now, this is from three days ago. So Jerry's like, I'm telling my sponsor about this chick that I met. Now, she's changed my life and how amazing it is. And we're skipping past the lake by my house because we live near each other. Things couldn't be better.
Starting point is 00:45:40 And this guy's like, all right, fuck you, Jerry. That's enough. I don't need to hear any more of this. and he said, you know, I can't take caring about, you know, your dating and your money anymore. You know, notice how he slipped that in? I can't take care of what you're dating because of jealousy or your money anymore. This guy's probably just like, Jerry, you've got to stop borrowing money. You're going to end up at rock bottom all over again and be looking for help from the bottle.
Starting point is 00:46:08 What are you doing? You get yourself $200,000 in debt? So I'm sure he's like had these conversations. And Jerry's like, eh, I'm going to do what I'm going to do. I don't listen to you. So the guy's probably just like, then what are we doing? I'm not going to waste my time with this anymore. I have precious time left.
Starting point is 00:46:22 Yeah. You know, I think you need to get a new sponsor. And I was, you know, I was actually kind of relieved because I've been thinking the same thing. Like that he's, he's not been able to really, we haven't. Who doesn't dump this loser? I know. He hasn't been supportive of my horrible decisions. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:37 What an asshole? Yeah, right. He's just like, yeah, I don't think about finding a new sponsor anyway, because this jerk off is telling me I shouldn't be borrowing money. at 25% interest. I didn't even know you could do that in AA. It's like a real part of the process and a huge thing that people take pride in, regardless of who you're sponsoring. Like the fact that you are now in or just weighing in on someone else is like a huge step. The fact that like a Boy Scout troop leader would be like, can I have another group of kids? I don't like, they don't like me. That's just like that's crazy. Yeah, it's wild. We're on different pages.
Starting point is 00:47:14 you know, when he was out there and meeting people and talking to people and sharing all the time and going to meetings, you know, we're much more on the same page. But now it's like we're in different worlds and I have empathy. I understand that from the world he's in, you know, in his 70s and, you know, isolated alone and in pain, you know, then hearing about me out here living life and stuff, I understand it. At this point, it's just too hard for him to hear that. Oh, wow. What a prick. He's just jealous of my amazing lifestyle. He spent like two days under the covers trying to decide whether he should go to a lunch party,
Starting point is 00:47:53 went, pissed off everyone, immediately regretted it, and went home to talk to AI alone for another two days. Give you hundreds of dollars to AI because he ran out of tokens. But a real person who's in pain and could probably use something and someone. Fuck him. This guy's jealous of me. Stop being so jelly, man I'm living my best life And this morning I was feeling bad for Jerry
Starting point is 00:48:17 So I'm right back That's why I wanted to start with this segment Thank you Yeah very smart You don't go right to the sadness That's coming up Because it just makes him wish That he wasn't where he was at
Starting point is 00:48:28 And you know I It turns out I was too good for him Yeah That's why he dumped me Oh we want to justify it buddy That's fine I've been thinking I need to get
Starting point is 00:48:40 A new sponsor too because he hasn't been available to talk to me much since May. Oh, he's so needy. All right, let's get a know. Let's talk about how needy he is. He came in with a vlog. He's doing vlogs now. He came up this morning with one.
Starting point is 00:48:54 It's entitled, The first time I felt Jesus answered my prayer, and it changed me. This has 81 views. So, like I said, multiple people texted this to me. I can only imagine how many views it's getting from just WTP people. I'm guessing the vast majority. This is a sad Jerry to start this one out. I'm Jerry Banfield. This is my July 22nd, 2006 vlog.
Starting point is 00:49:20 And I was dreading doing this. I was even thinking I'd rather delete my channel than film this vlog, which, thankfully, I've already deleted over 20 channels on YouTube. But I've got some amazing things to share. Amazing. Like I had my first amazing, you know, prayer experience, like praying to Jesus yesterday, which is very surprising to me after my history and life of being agnostic, new age. And I have that to share today.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Was it a 30-minute call? I charged him half-priced. It's Jesus after all, you know. I got to pay the whole 96. So Jerry comes on. He's very somber. He's like, I thought about deleting my channel again. Fortunately, I got that out of my system.
Starting point is 00:50:05 I deleted 20 channels, whatever that meant. I don't know. Yeah, neither here nor there. Okay. So he decided to thankfully not delete the channel, but he is sad. And he wants to remind us that you can talk to him. If you want to talk to Jerry directly, that is on the table. I appreciate those of you that have reached out to me. And I'm available anytime you can talk to me at jerry Bamfield.com and share your life with me.
Starting point is 00:50:31 People have asked, well, what do you offer? I offer to listen to care about your story to, you know, lead by example and share experiences with my life. that can help you. Like having deep heartfelt conversations with people has been the most transformative thing that I've experienced in my life. And if you don't know someone you can have a conversation like that with, I'm available. Some of you might not have anybody you could talk that way with. So that's what I offer that's valuable.
Starting point is 00:51:00 Wow. So for $200 an hour, he'll be your friend. There are escorts who do things they do not want to do because they're with me. For $200 an hour, this guy will. just like talk to you and listen and tell you about his problems on top of that as long as you're not as ex-sponsor. Oh, right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:18 He doesn't want anything to do with him. So we talked about this on a recent episode where I kind of outed Jerry for targeting lonely people as this target audience. His audience and people have no one else to talk to. And he just said it there. Do you ever when he had that list of things that you would get? He'd help you with life advice and dating and crypto and he's narrowed it down. He's narrowed it down just like, I don't know, shoulder to cry.
Starting point is 00:51:39 I have, no. No. I'd actually know. And if I did, you'd be the last one I would choose. What I think happened. I think years ago when Jerry was doing this, he prayed on lonely people for money. Yes. And I think he has felt bad about it.
Starting point is 00:51:55 And somehow throughout that process, he's become that person that he used to steal money from. And now all of this is because he's them. He really doesn't care about the money. He needs someone to talk to. He needs someone to talk to about life stuff. big important things. Like if you pay for this, my guess is you don't get a worded. You're spot out with that, Adam.
Starting point is 00:52:16 He is looking for someone. I actually talked to someone who had a phone call with him. Really? You paid for a phone call? And Jerry just talked about himself the whole time. So that's what he needs. He needs to just sound off on what's going on in his life. And I'm sure it's entertaining.
Starting point is 00:52:32 So if you're the one paying the $96 for a half hour, just like, yeah, yeah, that would happen. Yeah. Yeah? And then she broke your heart? Yeah, tell me more about your ex. Yeah, yeah. And then how many boxes of the queen ex did you go through?
Starting point is 00:52:44 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So the description of this episode is 90th. After meeting the woman who transformed my life, she asked for space. And I prayed to Jesus for the first time after a lifetime of being agnostic and new age and chose to suffer for love. So I predicted this.
Starting point is 00:53:04 I think it wasn't that wild of a prediction that I made. No. where Jerry just fell head over heels and was being real needy and clingy. And I will change anything for you. After this one date and she's like, well, I'm Christian. He's like, oh, my faith is whatever.
Starting point is 00:53:22 It's up for grass. Whatever you need me to be. I'm in, let's go. I'm thinking about Christianity. Right. And there were clips I didn't even play on this show where before the third date, they were supposed to be tennis
Starting point is 00:53:35 and they got rained out or something. So he had mess. to her and said, listen, I know we can't play tennis. Do you want to do something else instead? And she wrote back something like, yeah, it's silly to get together. So he writes back, like, do you want to do this or this? And she doesn't respond for 10 minutes. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:53:51 And she finally responds. And he goes, yeah, you know, I was freaking out. I thought maybe she changed her mind. She didn't want to hang out. Turns out she was just like finishing her makeup and getting ready for the day in the bathroom and then messages me back. So I told her that I was kind of freaking out that I thought maybe. So I took the news off.
Starting point is 00:54:06 Sorry. I get up his stool now. So I told her that I was concerned that maybe you'd change your mind. She goes, yeah, I figured. Her response was, I thought you might think that. I'm sorry, it's so hard to get back to you. She knows him. That's how needy this fucking guy is before the third date.
Starting point is 00:54:25 I suppose you want to hold hands again, huh, Jerry? A recipe for disaster with this guy. So this is what happened. So I met this woman. I guess it's nine days ago now. and this just totally transformed my life. And we had a really amazing weekend. You know, a couple of dates on the weekend,
Starting point is 00:54:47 spent like nine hours together. Okay. And who's counting? On Monday, she wanted some space. And then yesterday. At 1017. She said that she did want to see me yesterday. And I just got down on my knees and cried. I was so happy.
Starting point is 00:55:02 Yeah, we're back. And then. Hold now. How are we going to pause that? She goes, I need some space. That was on Monday. Oh, that's not good. How much space you need?
Starting point is 00:55:13 You still need space? Is it still need space? I like space. Do you want me to run a space? So then finally, she goes, all right, we can hang out again. She was like, thank God he cries. He balls his eyes out yet again. He's been crying a lot these last nine days.
Starting point is 00:55:31 I've got to be honest. Happy tears, sad tears, pathetic tears. Lots of tears. I went about my day doing my work filming videos and going to a power yoga and exercising. I went to an AA meeting and I reflected that yesterday I should have reached the day before. I should have, you know, I shouldn't have played video games. I should have reached out and connected with other people. So then after the AA meeting last night I went to, she messaged me that she was feeling and overwhelmed,
Starting point is 00:56:05 didn't want to see me and I was just destroyed oh no I mean he says himself up for this right well yeah we all saw it coming so she's like you know what actually
Starting point is 00:56:17 it'd be kind of weird let's not get together and he was destroyed Jerry let's docks her let's dox that fucking bitch let's go Jerry you got a number I'm sure you got a photo or two
Starting point is 00:56:29 it's ruin her life we could do this he was so apologetic about the video games he was like reflecting Yeah. Like, oh, I should have been tending to her needs. I should have been texting her.
Starting point is 00:56:39 Yes. I was playing video games. Well, Jesus is listening now, so he has to. Right. So he decided to do the thing that anyone should do after knowing a girl for eight days who says, yeah, I don't think we should see each other anymore. Beg. Just start pleading with her to see you. It always works.
Starting point is 00:56:57 Yep. I, uh, I mess with her back saying, you know, just kind of being like, hey, I think, you know, connecting with each other will be the best. way. Like I, you know, it's, it's, I don't think God wants us to figure out everything on our own. Like, we have other people so we can work together, you know, and I think trying to figure out everything by yourself is where suffering comes, you know, being at home by yourself, trying to figure things out to me is where suffering, disconnection, loneliness is generated. Weaponize her faith, Jerry. Good instincts on this one. Is that what Jesus would want you to do? not see me anymore? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:57:38 And, you know, she affirmed her need for space. And I, I suffered so much that I realized I just needed to get out of the house. I'm like, I need to get out and I just need to move. I need to get out. I need to go to my crying bench. Yeah, he did. I wonder if he came off as a little too needy in any of these exchanges, you know? I think so. Just throw it out there's a possibility. Maybe she's just like, ah, God damn it. I was going to give him another chance, but it's a handful. What was the word that she used? It was too overwhelmed. She's overwhelmed.
Starting point is 00:58:14 Jerry, you're overwhelming her. Fucking take a step back. Be cool, man. Just be cool. I know for a fact if he was presented with a woman that treated him like this, he would be freaking out about it and be like, it's just too much. I can't get to yoga. I can't concentrate on my videos for all of you.
Starting point is 00:58:31 Like, I can't stand this person. Yeah. but they have a real connection though that's what you're not understanding Jesus wanted them to be together it's why they had a date in the first place Oh but Jesus can't control this This is out of his power
Starting point is 00:58:43 Well it's funny you say that Because Jerry thinks that he can Nah So Jerry decided to Turn to prayer To fix this problem A man who's never cared about Christianity Or Jesus or religion
Starting point is 00:58:56 And by the way He did get some positive message from his clients I want to say it's all doom and gloom He had a phone call from a guy some other people from his school account DMed him. So he's like, all right, that's cool. Things are going relatively well. But he is walking around that lake that's near his house
Starting point is 00:59:12 and there's that park bench that he likes to go to. I was so miserable that she didn't want to see me, especially that she had scheduled a time with me and then canceled it, which she was in pain about somebody else doing that to her the first time I met her. Right. And I was praying so hard. I was just praying constantly
Starting point is 00:59:32 praying to God to Jesus, my dad. And I was praying, you know, the most... His dad was like, shut off. That's why I escaped this world. Through Satan in there. Yeah, I don't know. I'm just chucking things at the wall. See what it stays.
Starting point is 00:59:48 Special part of the prayers is that I was praying that I would be okay no matter what. Like, God, Jesus, please help me be okay no matter what. Oh, the special part was how selfish he was. Hey, God, I hope you answer to this prayer. Can I get the girl and live happily ever after? I just, you know, I want things to work out for me. Is that something you do? You got it, Jerry.
Starting point is 01:00:11 Yeah, right. Is that on the menu today? Is that on the special board? What are we talking about here? He needs to see the movie obsession. Oh, that's a good call. I've not seen it yet. I've heard a lot about it.
Starting point is 01:00:22 I do need to watch that. Did you see it? About which coming true. Yes. I'm not regretting it. Did you see Bill Burr's take on it? I did not. Oh, okay, we have to break that down.
Starting point is 01:00:30 I would love that. There's a video of him breaking it down, and I was going to, Lucy loves that movie. I was going to get her on here, but fuck her, you're way more qualified to talk about obsession. Lucy and I, we should all do it. You know what, just you and Lucy.
Starting point is 01:00:42 I'll get out of the way. Good idea. I've seen the movie. Now I think about it. I don't even see this. It feels right. So this is wild because Jerry is showing some signs that this can become a problem for this woman.
Starting point is 01:00:57 She lives in a while. walking distance from me. She said she wanted to walk with God. I was hoping, you know, maybe I'd run into her. That slut. Oh, you're seeing God now? He's better than me, huh? Oh, because he wasn't playing video games all night last night.
Starting point is 01:01:12 He got back to you? I'm worried about this woman and having a potential stalker who lives near her. He's out there walking, hoping he'll run into her. Because she said that what guy just sees his spent some time with God, by the lake? Which park bench do you want to spend? time with God with. Yikes. He used to be a cop.
Starting point is 01:01:33 He has access to, like, networks and places to look things up. All right. So he did have a breakthrough on this park bench he sat up. And he got over suffering and found peace, which was great. Then he gets into more prayers. And he's trying to figure out how Jesus can help him fix this. Adam, to your point earlier, he's got this figured out. meanwhile I was praying to Jesus
Starting point is 01:01:58 I'm like please you brought us together you know please help us navigate this with each other yeah Jesus can you be my wingman on this one she's got an ugly front we hang out with her while you know we do a little double date action being boldly Jesus is like I figured you guys
Starting point is 01:02:15 would last more than nine days I was doing other things I'm sorry yeah keep my eye on this all day so this is where things get crazy oh this is where Yes. And shout out to former review girl Kendi, who I don't hear from very often, but from now and again, she gets really into things. And she loved this clip from Jerry's stream this morning. And I was thinking about Jesus and his example. I was reading the Bible. And I had the thought, you know, praying to him that, you know, something like, you know, he, remembering his example.
Starting point is 01:02:56 example on the cross, that he was willing to sacrifice himself to suffer. He was willing to suffer for all of us. And that's something I've never consciously been willing to do is to suffer for anyone. And I had the thought that, you know, if Jesus is willing to suffer on the cross for everyone, aren't I willing to suffer, you know, the pain of giving this woman's space? when I would rather be close. So I want to the credit for this because this is what Kendi said. Basically, his blue balls are the same as crucifixion. It's what he's saying.
Starting point is 01:03:37 It's like, well, look it, maybe I won't get my dick wet this week. But Jesus was over there for a whole weekend suffering and dying so that we could have Easter. So, I mean, maybe I can also sacrifice some things too. Pretty much. Pretty much anytime he doesn't get what he wants, immediately he's comparing that to what Jesus went through. Right, because he just read the Bible. Do you guys hear about this thing?
Starting point is 01:04:01 What the Romans did? Holy shit. Yeah, we're familiar with the story. Jerry. Can we think about maybe praying for someone else? She sounded kind of overwhelmed. Maybe you pray for her to find peace. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 01:04:12 The way she finds peace is through Jerry. So he's praying for Jerry to find her to find peace. Does he not think she's going to search his name and see any of this ever? That's what's the craziest part we've been talking about this on these episodes at WATP. we've been breaking this down. I'm like, this is the worst thing you can do is to overwhelm someone and scare the fuck out of them
Starting point is 01:04:32 by having vlogs like this. Right. Bad enough if you find just his channels, but you're going to find us. Yeah, you're going to find us. Much worse. Actually, quicker, yeah. And the crazy part is
Starting point is 01:04:43 if Jerry had 500,000 views on these videos that was making money, hand over fist, I'd like, all right, whatever, that's his content. You know, he talks about his life and he's going to make some problems for himself, but you do you do you. I mean, we saw what happened with like Jim Norton and Anthony Coomia when they devolved thing.
Starting point is 01:05:00 They would tell what's going on in their lives and, you know, whatever. People use that against them at some point. These videos have 80 views on them. Some of them are 27. It's like, you know who's watching that? Is that girl you just dated who's going to your dating channel? See what you're talking about. Now hanging out with God.
Starting point is 01:05:16 He doesn't know what happened during the time she agreed to go out with him and then 12 hours later suddenly changed her mind and felt overwhelmed. Do you think you do? I think she saw these five videos. That was the joke. I'm familiar. I saw how you were going with that. Gotcha. All right.
Starting point is 01:05:30 So, Jerry is willing to suffer and he actually realizes like, oh, this is the way. This is going to bring her back to me. Yes, I'm willing to suffer for this woman. I'm willing to hurt for her. If that's, if that's what it takes to love her, I will suffer. And suddenly I felt I started laughing. And I sent her a couple of them.
Starting point is 01:05:55 a couple of messages. I didn't know how to reply to her last message, you know, affirming that she wanted space, so I waited and then I said, look. I'll play the rest of this, but how long did he wait?
Starting point is 01:06:06 This guy is so manic. He is destroyed. He's going to shut down his YouTube channel. He's got, he doesn't know what to do. And then he goes to sit on a park bench, gets up and goes, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
Starting point is 01:06:23 It's been a scary Ahahaap. I'm telling you. I'll just say it for the last time, Batman villain. This dude, I just hope someone doesn't burn off his face because this dude's gonna be fucking scary. He's talking like he hasn't been suffering
Starting point is 01:06:35 this entire time we've known him. It's nothing but suffering. This isn't new. No. It's a new kind of suffering because he finally had it all figured out at him. The suffering was over. He met the woman
Starting point is 01:06:46 that was going to marry him, become up, remember, not only was they going to get married, she was to be part of his business, a part of his streams. People were going to pay to, call just to talk to her on the phone to get more inside information on the size of Jerry's
Starting point is 01:07:00 dick and how well it works. I don't know what he thought we were going to talk to her about. He had it all figured out and now it's all crumbling. You know, affirming that she wanted space so I waited and then I said, look, I'll, so I could just read the message. That's always a good idea, Keanu. Just pull up those text messages and start reading up to us. And see what I said. I said, I'm here for you no matter what and I'll accept anything you have to offer.
Starting point is 01:07:24 Anything I can offer you I can't That's a perfect example I'm here for you no matter what Whatever you need for me I told you I need for you stop texting me Don't call me If you see me out of the street
Starting point is 01:07:40 Walk the other way I'm here for you no matter what And I'll accept anything you have to offer Anything I can offer you I will even if it's space Offering space hurts But I'll do it to prove I'm serious about you And patient with you
Starting point is 01:07:53 that's the only choice you have and he's not even doing that no space needs to be the last word of that sentence done right unless there's something else I could do for you like such as yeah yeah I kind of had the follow the ground of dates or something dude she goes I need space
Starting point is 01:08:09 and he texts her back days later and goes I'm going to tell you what because I love you so much I'm going to give you some space I'm sorry what was the alternative to that you're going to break into my house yeah or I'll just wear your skin
Starting point is 01:08:23 what the fuck so he's texting her because he knows that she loves Jesus so he decides like I know how I'll get back in her good graces and then I described the experience of like praying to Jesus and thinking about his example on the cross and his willingness to consciously suffer
Starting point is 01:08:43 for the sake of others and I thought you know that I had that same thought that I will suffer for this woman if that's what it takes to show her I'm serious and then I have unconditional love to offer and then I'm patient with her. And if it means, you know, if she can have what she means, I will suffer for it. It's all of it, Jerry. She's getting out.
Starting point is 01:09:07 I love that this guy goes, hey, but I'm kind of like, Jesus suffered over here. You like that Jesus guy? Yeah, yeah. I'm surprised. I don't know if she's like a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan or something like that. I'm wearing a Tampa Bay Buc's head on there. This Bible. Giant Cros. Wow. Is that crazy? He is exhausting.
Starting point is 01:09:32 And he thinks she can't see through this. That no one's ever tried to use religion to get close to her the thing she loves the most. Like, come on. No, Adam, it's, like, he really just prayed to Jesus and Jesus gave an epiphany and it made him laugh. It got him through tough times. Like, he's learned about Jesus. He's found Jesus. I believe part of that is real.
Starting point is 01:09:52 I believe if he actually closed his eyes and sat in silence, it would have been the first time in decades. And I bet something did happen, but had nothing to do with her. No. Or Jesus for that matter. Oh, Jesus. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:10:04 Well, Z-new. It's Z-new, people. It's definitely Z-new. This is a hilarious statement. Like, I was a major character development milestone. And I walked home and I was just so peaceful.
Starting point is 01:10:15 And yet I hurt. I wanted to see her. I hurt. But it was okay because it was consciously chosen. I'm like, I chose this. I accept this. This is my choice. I chose to invest my feelings in her.
Starting point is 01:10:29 And I accept this pain. He said that was a major character development milestone. Not stalking this woman. I know where she lives, guys. I didn't even go to her house. I mean, I walked near her house hoping that she'd be out. But I'm not even like peering through her window to see if there's another guy over there. She's on the phone with someone.
Starting point is 01:10:48 I think she lives near 7-Eleven, so it's a bad part of town. Yeah, that's scary for sure. a major character development milestone accepting the fact that she doesn't want to see him anymore. Anthony Akumi's here in the chat. These are the embarrassing errors you make in relationships as a 14-year-old guy. He's a mess.
Starting point is 01:11:07 That's what's so fascinating about this. He's 42 years old. He's been married. He has a family. I was thinking the way he is talking, I've been there before, but I was 12. Dude, we can all relate to this, right? Where you're just like, this is my world now.
Starting point is 01:11:19 If I don't have this person in my life, my life is meaningless. And then, yeah, you turn fucking 14 or whatever it is. You're just like, Jesus Christ, they got him out. That's stupid. Those other bruns. He was a cop. Yes.
Starting point is 01:11:33 Fucking the dispatcher, by the way. The hot as fucking dispatcher. Let's not forget that. Well, as you just heard, he sent her a couple more text messages and said, hey, he really waited. He said, hey, you know what, I decided I'm going to be the hero and give you your space. But also, I'm just like Jesus, and I'm suffering over here. Did you want Jesus suffering? A lot of Christians are kind of bummed about that.
Starting point is 01:11:57 Remember that? You can be fixing this right now. So obviously he was hoping for a response. I was hoping she'd respond. She didn't respond for three hours. And I just sat there and didn't do anything. It's all over, Jerry. Nice.
Starting point is 01:12:12 He just sat there and just did nothing staring at his text on his phone. Refreshing. Yeah. It's just like broken. to me reboot my phone. Why's nothing's coming to do. Oh, Jerry. Hey, Verizon.
Starting point is 01:12:26 I'm not getting text messages for like the last seven minutes. Uh, Mr. Banfield, we discussed this. Yeah, Mr. Rampfield, you're, I'm sending you text messages right now.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Do you get those? Yeah, yeah, those ones I received. You hear about those people that, like, suddenly decide to strap across to their back and, like, walk across America or over these mountains. You're like,
Starting point is 01:12:46 how does somebody decide to do that? This is how. This is that? It's like, I'll sacrifice everything for you. It's like, I'm asking for any of this. Go to chilies to get some fucking chili fries. I don't care what you do.
Starting point is 01:12:58 I'm walking in the middle of Times Square and he's sweating and he's bloody and he's got a crown on his head. Do you love me now? Do you love me now? Even less somehow. Even less. Well, let's talk about the sacrifices. Jerry definitely did suffer. I ate a bowl of popcorn with nothing on it.
Starting point is 01:13:15 I didn't even feel like putting any olive oil or anything. I just ate pop, air pop popcorn straight. You know. Jerry, maybe you took these a little too quickly with this girl, you know? I went to Arby's. I hate an Arby's. Testify, Jerry. I decided to have a beef and cheddar with no horsy sauce on it.
Starting point is 01:13:36 What? He's ever done that before. No one. Holy shit. I like to be called popcorn no flavor on it. Straight. I ate my popcorn straight. Hey, bartender.
Starting point is 01:13:48 We get a bowl of popcorn straight. Whoa. This guy must be a real pop-kronolic. He's able to do that. So that's a lot of suffering. Fortunately, Jerry realized, no, you know what? There's other people I can talk to in my life.
Starting point is 01:14:03 I have other friends out there. I called my friend who's been there so much. I called him once and he didn't answer this morning. I called him again. And I poured my heart out to him. And it felt so good. I'm like, this is what I should have done yesterday, that I was so lonely yesterday because of the actions I took.
Starting point is 01:14:21 It wasn't, it's not like I don't have anybody else in my life besides her. I have a ton of other people in my life besides her. And, you know, perhaps I've put too much attention on her in the short term, but I also like to think I laid a strong foundation and opened my heart up, which is important for the long term. Oh, no. He almost came to the realization that way they did it wrong. Maybe I came out a little bit too strong.
Starting point is 01:14:43 No, I came out of the right amount of strong. Yeah, everyone else was wrong. He came to that conclusion immediately. He's like, I'm going to scared her away. with how needy I was, but I needed to be that needy in order to have supposed to walk to a relationship that ended marriage, so. And his friend wasn't available
Starting point is 01:14:59 today. Usually AI answers. Isn't that funny? There's like, oh, fucking Jerry again. God damn. It's fucking guy. It's been less than two weeks they've been on about three dates, and he's saying, you know, I've lost touch with my friends. They're all like, where you've been, buddy? Yeah. He spent a whole day forgetting
Starting point is 01:15:15 he had other people in his life. I don't think they missed you, Jerry. They're still there. Go go. Go get it. But it's got to be so maddening to get this phone call. Dude, I don't know if I can live another day. Why, what happened? Remember that girl I told you I met last weekend? Oh, the one I told you to go slow with.
Starting point is 01:15:32 The one that I was like, hey, man, be cool. That's the one? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So then he calls his mom. So I talked to him. Then I called my mom and I texted her and she didn't answer. Wow
Starting point is 01:15:53 It's fucking cherry again God damn it He's already over here Bowling his eyes out After he had a good date with this woman I can only imagine what this is going to be like And then I just walked around the lake again And I sat on this bench
Starting point is 01:16:09 And I thought about her And I thought about the other people I love And I prayed And I cried So much crying I bet even the bench hates him Right the bench is getting warped.
Starting point is 01:16:23 Yeah. Can you cry somewhere else, please? All right, so Jerry has his kids over. Thank God. Jerry, you have a family. Oh, yeah. You have these kids. You rent that house you can't afford.
Starting point is 01:16:37 So there's plenty of space for everyone. They can come over and spend time with you. Probably take your mind off of this girl that you just met nine days ago. And remember the important things in your life, raising some great kids. So what really happens? And I had the kids over to my house and, you know, I gave them hugs and snuggles while they played video games. I was like, should I take these video games away? Like, this is all you guys want to do now.
Starting point is 01:17:01 But that doesn't feel right either. So I let them do what they want to do and they have fun. Even his kids want nothing to do with them. Do you kids want to cry with me? Who wants to cuddle for the next six hours? I'll ball her eyes out. Dude, you still got the Xbox hooked up? You mind if we...
Starting point is 01:17:21 What the fuck? What's all this Jesus shit around your house? The fact that he goes, and I contemplate it taking away their video games, so they were forced to spend time with me. And I went, ah, nah, I'd get them very upset. That might not work. Maybe I should give them space. And he's learning the wrong time. And you see how when he's confronted with himself, he hates it.
Starting point is 01:17:43 Yeah. It's like all they're wasting their life with these video games. They should be out there, moving, meeting people, being productive. If all he wants to do is play video games and his kids are over and all they want to do is play video games, is that not the greatest situation in the world? It's perfect. Play video games with your kids instead of molesting them while they're trying to play. Like leave them alone. Distract yourself with video games, you know?
Starting point is 01:18:06 It plays some Roblox. Is that what the kids are playing these days? I don't know. Minecraft, something like that. Something cool. If that's what they want to do, play with them. Instead, Jerry's created a math video game. I told you last time.
Starting point is 01:18:18 Jerry's using AI to create video games. Check this out. And I built a little game on Jerry Banfield.net yesterday. A little math game, which was humbling. It's Jerry Banfield Math Strike. Pretty humbling. I mean, you can pick your grade level and then start the game, and it has a timer and a crosshair.
Starting point is 01:18:41 He just picked grade 12. All right. Let's see, Jerry. What do you got? I built this with AI. What's the cool. of X. This is 12th grade math,
Starting point is 01:18:52 Rob. I'm like, what? The question is, because he didn't read it, right? Was the coefficient of X cubed in X plus one to the fifth,
Starting point is 01:18:59 X plus one in parentheses? What's the coefficient of X3? What? X3, X cubed. Jerry. Oh, my God. Whoa. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:19:12 This is great. This is hilarious. So Jerry's like, oh, you know what? This might be when I can't. get. But no, he does not lose confidence. That's a geez.
Starting point is 01:19:24 That's going to take a minute. It just feels like it's either five or eight. It feels like it's probably five or eight. Oh, it's ten. All right. Hang it.
Starting point is 01:19:36 So he goes, what's the coefficient of X cubed in X plus one to the fifth? It feels like it's five or eight. My right guy? This is going to take a minute. Do you know what a coefficient is? No.
Starting point is 01:19:48 Cherry? Like, why, what do you mean? It's going to take a minute. You have no idea what you're doing. When it comes to math, go with your instincts. Right. It's a gut thing. So I was pretty good at math.
Starting point is 01:19:57 I have no idea how to solve this problem. I asked Grock, this is a very advanced equation that he's looking at. I have it up on the screen here. And Jerry's thought is like, it's probably five. That's my gut feeling. I feel like it can be eight now. One thing I do know is the kids want to play this game. All I know is that.
Starting point is 01:20:18 I don't even know what any of these things mean. It looks like a sketch of a guy going like this, huh? Yeah, I couldn't tell you what any of this means that I have up on the screen here. There's no way Jerry was going to solve that. Just go with grade six, you know? Yeah, give yourself a fighting chance there, Jerry. Here we have the creator of the game is going to demonstrate how to play. Yeah, you see him on Shark Tank.
Starting point is 01:20:40 Yes, it's great. So you can pick like grade one or two. Oh, what does grade 12 look like? I was afraid you'd ask. Yeah, let's see what I can do with that. Best modeling tips, the number, and entrepreneurial success. Kevin Brennan, and I'm going to ask Adam to kind of lead the discussion in this one because Kevin Brennan is a Hollywood insider.
Starting point is 01:21:07 And we do start off on a high note here. Things are not going to stay on a high note. They're going to go south, but it starts with this. I can't wait for this movie to buy. I said bomb, not bomb. So we're talking about the Odyssey. Yes, Stevie Lou is very excited. He's a film nerd.
Starting point is 01:21:30 He's going to get to the midnight screening on opening. He does this for all of Nolan's movies. He's very well-versed in filmmaking and is excited about it. So Kevin sees this joy and immediately has to just crush it with everything he has and decides that this film is going to bomb and he's going to prove why. Okay, let's find out. I don't care. But I'm just saying when I saw the trail,
Starting point is 01:21:51 like, who's going to go? Because it reminds me of Ben Hur or Gladiator, any of these big expensive movies. And it's like, why make a movie that expensive? Oppen Hunter was expensive, but it wasn't that expensive. Ben Hur, I barely knew her. And Ben Hur, you know, I didn't watch another theater. Okay.
Starting point is 01:22:12 So Ben Hur, of course, came out in 1959. Kevin Mayde got into the scene of the theater, actually. You might be lying about that. And I think about it. why make expensive movies? And then he names a bunch of movies that were very successful. Gladiator. Gladiator and Oppenheimer?
Starting point is 01:22:28 Yeah, you're like, well, I guess that's the reason why you make expensive movies, because they do really well. And people enjoy them and they're successful for years and years to come, turns out. But he's got more, right? He's got reasons for why The Odyssey is definitely going to fail. Okay. And the reason these other movies like Obsession and Backroom's Money is because, Kids go to these movies.
Starting point is 01:22:51 These are YouTubers. So the kids drive the market. KB's got it all figured out. The future of Hollywood, of course, is letting YouTubers make movies because we have seen some examples this year, small budgets, big box office success, and mostly because the younger people are going out to see these movies. Makes sense. So Odyssey will not work out well because the kids will not go to see Odyssey.
Starting point is 01:23:19 you're an idiot. Did kids go see Oppenheimer? My kids didn't. Or maybe they did. I don't know. But Oppenheimer... Why would you know what your kids did? You have to talk to them to find out.
Starting point is 01:23:31 But of course, the instinct lie. The instinct is just a lie. Question corner, just lie. Say whatever. Do kids go to see Oppenheimer? No, definitely not. My kids didn't. I mean, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:23:40 I have no idea. Maybe a lot of kids didn't. Or maybe they did. I don't know. But Oppenheimer surprised me when I made money. Oh. Brilliant. So Kevin's been wrong before on these predictions.
Starting point is 01:23:53 No, he's never been wrong. He was surprised. Surprised. It's different. He was surprised it made money. So he made this prediction before and was completely wrong. And when presented with it again, same thing. Has Kevin ever predicted anything would make money that wasn't misery loves company?
Starting point is 01:24:08 It's the only thing that makes money in the world of entertainment is misery loves company. Everything else is made by clowns and losers. Well, the leaderboard is the only way with which all of Hollywood gauges success or failure. So it's a good point. Yes. Playboard, I believe is the
Starting point is 01:24:23 Playboard, that's what it is. The gospel. Sorry. For Kevin, because there's some new thing that measures how shows are doing. I watched a clip today
Starting point is 01:24:31 before the show started. Kevin was very upset. Amazing. That he saw other channels, other YouTube channels, ahead of his on there. So it must not be relevant, obviously.
Starting point is 01:24:42 He doesn't say anything. He doesn't have any criticisms. He has no reasoning. It's just anger, bluster, and a lot of breathing. Right. Which is why it's odd that people are still latched on to this program. Obviously, a lot fewer than there used to be.
Starting point is 01:24:55 Because Kevin's not really providing anything other than bitterness at this point. And bitterness can be funny. Don't get me wrong. The chat's really funny. I feel like they're just kind of, they're funnier than him. That last one, what was it? Stop being a jerk. Kids didn't see Oppenheimer.
Starting point is 01:25:09 Like, you're an idiot. That was very funny and true. Did kids go see Oppenheimer? They're great. Right. So the movie Jaws gets brought up. because Jaws was a huge success that was against the odds. People did not think this was going to work out.
Starting point is 01:25:26 What it go. Went way over budget. They couldn't get anything working on the set. They had to like change the way it was shot and edited because they just didn't have a realistic shark. No one's going to buy this. So it completely changed everything they were doing about. 70 millimeter being projected, which is what he does. Okay, but there's not enough.
Starting point is 01:25:47 Nobody went to Jaws because it was 70 milliliters. Jaws was a great movie. It was a million liters. It came out in the summer, blah, blah, blah. So nobody gives a fuck about all the fucking film nerd shit. Nobody cares. I will point this out. I don't know a lot about The Odyssey,
Starting point is 01:26:09 but I was talking to Lucy the other day, who has to go see the 70 millimeter airing of it, showing of it, at 8 a.m. in a week or two because everything was sold out. You can't go see it. Well, she should go see the 70 milliliter one where you're actually
Starting point is 01:26:23 underwater. It's really impressive. Yes. Nobody cares. Except how many people like you? But you know how many people were saying the same thing
Starting point is 01:26:31 that you're saying about Jaws before it came out? You know, they said that about Jaws. I was there. I was around. Nobody said anything. You're right.
Starting point is 01:26:40 I wasn't there. There was no, there was no Scott about it about Jaws. The only thing we heard about it, the only problem with Jaws was the Jaws. The machine kept breaking down. It was literally talked about throughout Hollywood that the executives all said this movie is going to flop. People were working on the movies that it was going to flop.
Starting point is 01:26:58 No one thought this was going to be a success, Josh. It was 100% over budget. It went double the budget. It was a lot of scuttle butt in the industry. No scuttle butt. And do you see how Kevin's just like shitting on Stevie for being happy? That's all he really cares about. And Stevie's trying.
Starting point is 01:27:14 But his reasoning is that. Jaws was a success was because it was a summer movie. It's August. Buddy, it's August. Odyssey's a summer movie. What are you talking about? Good point, yeah. It takes a simple Google search to find all the articles saying what Carl was just talking
Starting point is 01:27:29 about. Why do you just say whatever you want, whenever you want? And people like Stevie, they just take it. So this is before Odyssey actually opened, right? It was like the day. It was that night at midnight. It was opening out that night. Right.
Starting point is 01:27:43 So Kevin's already making these bold predictions that it's not. not going to do well. Already losing money. So how are you going to make money? Then you're going to... It hasn't even come out yet. It's already losing money. Isn't that great?
Starting point is 01:27:54 Already losing money. So how are you going to make money? Then you're going to get ads? Are you going to get ads? So are they going to get a billion dollars at the box office? I don't know. I doubt it. What's his reasoning for this?
Starting point is 01:28:06 Can you figure this out? Yeah. He said it was going to be a bomb. He's starting to slowly be confronted with the fact that it's not going to be a bomb. So he just in this minute raised his argument. from being a bomb to it's not going to make a billion, which would be hundreds of millions over it even breaking even. He just changed the argument so he can seem like he won.
Starting point is 01:28:27 That's it. But it probably will make a billion dollars, so he's still going to be. Of course it will. But Oppenheimer made like $850 million. Everything went up a little bit for inflation and because the guy's successful. So that's where we are. It doesn't threaten anybody else with KB. Yeah, what a weird thing where it's like, I don't know,
Starting point is 01:28:46 about the Odyssey. Tell me about it. Well, you know, it's Christopher Nolan and all this stuff. And like, take it some information before. Just like, that sucks. It's going to suck. You suck. You're an idiot. No one likes it. No one cares. There's a loud, very vocal community that don't like the Odyssey because of casting reasons and because of many things, they feel strongly about you can tap into you if you wanted to actually do any research about this thing. But we all know he doesn't care at all. No. He just wants to be right. He wants people to be miserable. He wants things to fail. He wants entertainment to fail. Yes. Right. The audience. to see is projected to make 200 million worldwide opening weekend.
Starting point is 01:29:20 I'm going to, okay. That's great, Skybrook. But what about the, what about the following weekend when all the nerds are done? A lot of movies have big opening weekends. The thing, nerds, they don't have a lot going on, so they will go back and see it again. We'll see. We'll see. I'm definitely going to bet the under on this movie.
Starting point is 01:29:41 I'll take that, bet. I'm not, man. It did $264 million worldwide. opening weekend. It's up to 283 as of today. That's close to like 40% of making its breaking even and its opening weekend. I think it's going to be okay. I think it's going to be fine. But Kevin's taking the under on this one. He knows nothing about it. Doesn't understand what's going on. He's taking the under. Ignoring the facts that are coming in from the chat pretty regularly. So he decides to move on from
Starting point is 01:30:10 financial and he goes right to the Greek mythology is really what bothers him about it. How about the narcissist? What was the Greek god of a narcissist? Yeah. Yeah, is he in it? Does he fall in the water? Because he has to keep looking at his reflection in the lake. I mean, it's so stupid.
Starting point is 01:30:28 That's why he's going to fail because of the story itself. Yep. All right. That makes sense. If all the Greek gods, I wonder why he picks him narcissists, the only one he mentioned. Yeah, go figure. That's the one he knows about. But it's not just the mythology.
Starting point is 01:30:39 The directors also has it coming. Okay. So again, this guy wants to win another Oscar. absolute clown backgrounds and an obsession they didn't have to make any money and then they did there was no pressure on them yeah Christopher Nolan what a clown he is
Starting point is 01:30:57 for making a giant big budget Hollywood movie that's successful and would be up for an Academy Award what an idiot I don't think he knows what clown means I don't think he understands what he's complaining about at this point it's it's embarrassing to watch this guy just be like what are you angry about this is literally Grandpa Simpson waving his fists at the clouds of the sky. What are you angry about, old man?
Starting point is 01:31:20 If Grandpa Simpson had a wildly successful older brother. That's what he's yelling about. Younger brother, yes. Younger brother, sorry. Right. All right, where do you want to go next? Yeah, we can skip 10. Go right to 11, where a chat comes in that says,
Starting point is 01:31:35 and he doesn't understand the chat. It says, it was a waste of time having Tom Hardy and Dunkirk. He hardly spoke. AI could have played that role. Okay. he's talking about here. It was always having Tom Marty and Dunkirk, he early spoke,
Starting point is 01:31:46 AI could have played the role. And AI can 100% play all the Adam Bush type roles because nobody knows who Adam Bush is. I mean, they could get any, the AI can do all the roles of people like Adam Bush. I mean, you know, after what I don't even know what he's talking about here. Wow. All Kevin can think about is enemies all the time.
Starting point is 01:32:09 Yeah. I was watching clips. Nobody likes onions this week. where it was Kevin and Chad, and Patrick Milton was not the topic of conversation at all, and just kept coming back to, well, Melton, Malten! And now it was like to talk about the Odyssey and Dunkirk,
Starting point is 01:32:23 and he goes right to Adam Bush sucks. He can't work anymore because of AI. Like, what? I can't believe that he's... His audience or anyone interested in film is going to understand this comparison and, like, be with him on it. He even says he doesn't even know what his point is,
Starting point is 01:32:37 but Adam Bush. I don't know what you mean, but Adam Bush sucks, right, guys? Yeah, huh? That's what he does. You know, Chad last that debate with Carl. Oh, how's Melton doing? Right. How's Melton?
Starting point is 01:32:46 Fine, not what we're talking about. Yeah, neither here nor there. So, yeah, Adam is out of work. He can't work, as Kevin's been saying, for a while now. So he was a kid actor. He's not a kid anymore. Between AI and competition with other actors, Adam Bush will never work again.
Starting point is 01:33:05 Okay. Fine prediction as long as Adam Bush never works again. Because then you'll be right. and people can't call you out on it. The problem with saying stuff like that is if all of a sudden Adam's cast in something that's coming out and people see that and they go, oh, Adam's still a working actor,
Starting point is 01:33:21 that kind of makes Kevin look foolish and bitter, uninformed, you know? That's why, you know, putting out proclamations like that is maybe a bad idea. But no, I don't think Adam's going to work again because Adam can't even get an agent. Does Adam Bush have an agent?
Starting point is 01:33:36 Probably not. Does he need an agent? 100% no. That's hilarious. Probably not. Based on his hatred. Oh, right. Based on the fact that Adam was cast to be Neil Brennan in the failed sitcom pilot for HBO or UPN or whatever the fuck was going to pick up that sitcom.
Starting point is 01:34:02 Also, if you're not working, shouldn't you get an agent? That would be the time to have an agent. That'd be the move. You would think so. Right. well KB just like he's taking the under on the Odyssey he's got he's putting his money where his mouth is for our buddy Adam as well uh you know and he says a
Starting point is 01:34:20 says a couple of things but Adam Bush'll never work again I'll bet on that I'll take the under on that dare me no one knows what over under means I said that Shulie network too it frustrates me as a sports gambler he'll never work again I'll take the under on that under what one job right what's the under what's the over under on it you lose never work again it's already cut and dry you don't have to put a number on it to figure out what the over under is on it that's the money i was excited about this bet many in his chat were excited about this bet a lot of people
Starting point is 01:34:53 took them up on it well right because it turns out all you have to do is a quick google search to find out that adam is currently in a series that's available to view uh uh quick search uh working actor Brandon Bush, PBC, season three with Danny Trejo, John Lovis came out. Is this true? Yeah, actually, that is true. There's a series out there. He's in season three of BBC. Stevie looks happy.
Starting point is 01:35:22 Yeah, it's very funny. He's like, oh, yeah, that kind of shit on your point immediately there, didn't it, old man? This dementia riddled retard. I bet it sucks. He'll never work again. He's in season three with Danny Trejo and John Levitts. John Levitt sucks. You know, it's just like, okay, man,
Starting point is 01:35:39 removing the goalpost now. Like, obviously wrong again. But they're going to find reason to shit out of them, I'm sure, right? Well, he's very confused. He's having trouble processing what's happening right now, KB. So he asked Stevie to explain to him what PBC is, and here's his answer. Because I imagine this is what kind of like the pilot scene was back in the day that's now moved over to like web series where you get a bunch of,
Starting point is 01:36:06 of talentless actors in L.A. and has beens to get together and work on a project. You don't want to make any money. They don't make any money and you think you're doing something and it's all just like a calling card for one of the people on the project. Yeah, well, maybe someone will pick it up. It's season three.
Starting point is 01:36:23 It's in the name of the thing. BBC season three. Oh, it's a pilot? Steve's like, I think this is a pilot for failed actors. Yeah. There's a long pilot. These fucking retards think TV is still a thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:36 Oh, what, would you stream that over the internet? Yeah, like every other thing in the world right now, you moron. What does he think he's doing? What does he think he's doing? It's just like, is that going to be on NBC prime time? There is no NBC prime time. It's over. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:36:51 No one's watching network television anymore, old man. Can you imagine being his kid? Get a job. I got a job. How much is it pay? Not enough. Get another one. Your job sucks.
Starting point is 01:37:03 Oh, you have to go to an office and work with a co-worker? What a loser. What a loser. So then, yeah, I mean, John Lovitz, a pretty well-known guy. S&L alum, spending lots of movies and TV shows.
Starting point is 01:37:18 That sounds like a loser to me. Sounds like a loser. He's in this. John Lovitz, you know, John Lovitz is not exactly killing it either. Is that a guy out of your window?
Starting point is 01:37:34 It's like a bobbhorn outside. I'm like, I got to look this up. I got to look this up. But what is PBC? I think it's some sort of internet channel. It's the name of the show. I know PBS, PBC.
Starting point is 01:37:52 Okay, so it's an American mockumentary Workplace Comedy Series, web series. So it's whatever show he's doing. Yes, the name of the show, BBC Season 3. And I actually have exclusive audio of John Lovett's explaining his experience and the show itself. It stinks. That's too bad.
Starting point is 01:38:14 well at least he stuck with it for three seasons that was nice of them to do that it'll get picked up one day so pbc is paid by client yes it stands for and uh it's a workplace sitcom similar to the office where it's accountants and they're you know they have the rivals the sales team and yeah you know it's a total office rip-off improv style it has cast members from the office in it at a saturday live but mostly it's um young ticotkers and YouTubers and influencers that are the main... Oh, the people that Kevin was saying was the future of show business in Hollywood?
Starting point is 01:38:49 That's right. Because I remember he was talking about obsession and backrooms, and he was saying, like, he's just let these YouTubers do it. That's exactly what this is. A YouTuber named Michael Gallagher have millions of followers and started making actual films
Starting point is 01:39:02 for these YouTubers and has taken it so far that he did this series, and now he has this film with dramatic actors in it and TikTokers called The Leader about the Warren Jeff's cult at Tribeca right now.
Starting point is 01:39:13 He's doing it. this exact obsession Curry Baker model and it's going really well for him. And you worked with him on this series that's in its third season. Yes. And it's his third season because it's losing tons of money and everyone hates it? We're just hoping somebody's going to see it and pick us up so we can move past the pilot stage. It's so fucking stupid. I feel so stupid even talking about this.
Starting point is 01:39:33 I know. Kevin has no idea what he's talking about. And we pointed out in so many different examples, this one's the funniest though I have to say. Yeah, so that's basically you do a web series and then hopefully people give money to make the real thing. So you basically making a pilot on your own dime. And of course, well, you know, again, if Adam Bush is getting paid, he's not getting paid a lot. It looks like it's a rip off of the office, which it's like, guys, come on. Like, we need new ideas. Let's see. Let's see what happens. I'm sure it'll blow up. I'm sure it'll blow up. I can't wait to
Starting point is 01:40:06 watch Adam Bush and John Lovitz and IMAX. Let's see what happens. I'll play. I'll play. a waiting game. IMAX's technology from the 90s, old man. Well, it's not good unless you're in the IMAX theater. It's a television show. What are you talking about? They always stream shit there. It's a series. Play the waiting game.
Starting point is 01:40:27 Play the waiting game. We'll see. We'll see. With Audity, the Odyssey, and with John Lovitz and Adam Bush's comeback on the BBC. Because I know the BBC and PBS,
Starting point is 01:40:43 but I don't know PBC, It's fascinating, Grandpa. What else don't you know? Are the kids confusing it with BBC and with PBS? No, definitely not. I thought the bet was he's not working. Steve just said he's on a show.
Starting point is 01:41:01 You lost the bet, Kevin. Right. Yeah, he's out of show. But then he goes, he's probably not making that much money. Is there a company that's backing this, Adam? Yes, it's called Flowcast. He said I was paying for it myself.
Starting point is 01:41:11 Yeah. He said I'm self-funding it. There's a company that's budgeted for this. this and is paying people to produce it and they're on season three. So he's completely wrong about everything. Thankfully, the chat gets it and tells him what's up. This is not the grave to die on Kevin. Pull up a knee.
Starting point is 01:41:29 She's trying to help you out. We'll see. We'll see. We'll see. They might, they might pad the numbers like the Shilly Network does to stick it to me. There it is. I can imagine the producers of PBC, the company that's backing of Flowcast is just like, We got to stick it to Kevin Brennan at this one, guys.
Starting point is 01:41:49 We're making a season four, to matter how much money do we lose on this, to stick it to Kevin Brennan. It's the whole reason you create a show. It's the whole reason you do anything in entertainment. Yeah, they work for Neil. Of course, that's what's happening. Thank you to Lady KB.
Starting point is 01:42:03 Of course, that's a joke because Chad Zumach doesn't understand how any phrases work. So this is not the grave to die on. It's like, Kevin, you're calling out The Odyssey and a show that's existed for three seasons and a working actor. like, what's your end game here? You're just wrong about everything.
Starting point is 01:42:18 He's always going to be wrong. Yeah. And he never has to admit it as long as he keeps moving that goalpost. Well, and he goes, we'll see. We'll see. Is he going to come back and revisit this? When the honesty makes a billion dollars, he'd be like, Bobby Lou, I was totally wrong, man. My bad.
Starting point is 01:42:32 How good is that? Should I go see it? I owe everyone an apology. Yeah, I can see Kevin Brennan's, I owe over an apology episode. He actually said in this episode, he goes, Nolan, everyone's going to know Nolan's a clown, and Matt Damon is going to have to personally apologize for this turkey. So within the course of an hour or two, he finds out that it's making money, it's going to make his money back. And now he's pushed it all the way to it's not going to make a billion.
Starting point is 01:42:56 It seems like it might make a billion. Okay, we'll wait and see. That was not your bet. That was not your argument was we'll wait and see in the future. You're just pushing it to some time that's not right now so you can keep claiming you won. You lost both of these in real time. We all saw it. The chat saw it.
Starting point is 01:43:13 And it even makes Stevie. really likable. I like him as the nerdy cineophile who understands what's happening, but it's too scared to tell grandpa much better than the heel guy. I like this, Stevie. I agree. He's passionate about something. He knows about it. And he's just letting Kevin, you know, dig his own
Starting point is 01:43:28 grave by this one. And if you think it's just here that he does this, by the way, this is his approach to life and to comedy. Listen to him play out exactly what he did here over like three hours in the course of 30 seconds about comedian Samarrel. Samaral's a fucking piece of shit
Starting point is 01:43:45 Samarle's not doing nearly remember he was doing well for a while He still returns my tech so Go to his tour date, see how Samarale's doing He's not he's he's not doing He's not doing the theater days are over set for Samarale He's he just filmed a Netflix special in a theater He didn't what like three years ago No like three months ago in Tampa
Starting point is 01:44:06 And is it out yet? I don't think so Okay then then let's say Let's see. Let's see what Samarrell's doing. Okay. Wrong again, Kevin. Just like that. I mean, why would you think Sam Burrell's career is on the decline right now? Samarillo's a hilarious comic who has a very successful podcast,
Starting point is 01:44:26 is doing way better than Kevin in every way in entertainment. Yeah, this guy stinks. Well, it turns out it's because they actually have a disagreement in real life. They have personal back and forth that's happened when he's run into Samarreal. off the stage and I was going, I was already being introduced. So I walked past them and I just gave him a fucking look. And then he gave me a look like, you're kidding, right? And I gave him a look like, I'm not kidding.
Starting point is 01:44:53 So I would never hide from Samarrel. And anytime, any place, Sam Meryl, anytime any place. Where did Chad learn that from? Anytime any place. Any level. He said to Pat Dixon. And then Pat's like, how about right now? Right where you are.
Starting point is 01:45:09 And he's like, oh, I can't do that. So listen to fucking tough guy, Brian, I don't know if this is the comedy seller or something where you saw Samarrel, but apparently he's like shooting daggers at this guy just because he's successful and funnier than him
Starting point is 01:45:23 I guess is the problem. That's what tough guys do is they just give looks. And whatever the reasoning was, maybe they had like a real fight and now they're just seeing each other. I don't know, but either way, Samaril's being like a human and a comic
Starting point is 01:45:35 and like, come on man, he's giving him that look like, you're not serious, giving him a way out. And Kevin just like stuttering John has to be like, No, there are no jokes. I'm really serious.
Starting point is 01:45:43 I'm a seven-year-old man, and I want to fight in the alley right now with you. No, anytime, any place, Sam Meryl. Any time, any place. Stand up. You want to have a... Sam Meryl obviously deserves the wrath of the MLC fan base and the dabble verse for all the horrible things he's done. Stokely is trolling Anna Bush, as he should, as we all should. So Stokely, Stokely's doing the Lord's work.
Starting point is 01:46:11 But that's what he does when he's wrong and when he's cornered. He just trolls and dockses and tells everyone else to troll and docks. If you think VTL is the real source of, you know, all the awful stuff in the Dabellverse, you'd be right. But right behind him is Kevin Brennan, because this is what John does. This is what Chad does. Every time I realized I see that like aggressive, violent piece of shit in these lowcows, they're all doing a Kevin Brennan impression. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:46:37 And they all call the comedy clubs. and they're all trying to get people's shows canceled. That's them. And that's why when Chad Zumach's just like, hey, guys, why are you trying to fuck with my GoFundMe? And I'm not going to tell you the venue that we're filming it at because you guys are going to try to destroy it. It's like, no one would be doing that if you weren't hanging
Starting point is 01:46:55 with the most toxic show in the Dabbleverse. Misner goes company, when you see like these bigger names bring up the Dabbleverse, we saw this recently with Fitzduck. Big J. Yeah, Big J. Talked about it. Annie Letterman was talking about it. about this she's coming to do the comedy club soon. Nice.
Starting point is 01:47:12 They just be like, oh, yeah, I don't want to talk about the dambover's, you know, Kevin Brennan. Like, immediately, like, this guy is just an asshole, just trying to get your gigs ruined. Yeah. And try to sick people on you. So, fuck that. Keep in mind, his hatred for me started because I told a story on this show where we had worked together when I played his brother Neil for this thing. And I told a story where he was really nice to be in an elevator.
Starting point is 01:47:35 And he has not forgiven me for that since. Fuck you. Yeah. He has no access to the actual Neil, so I've become this weird substitute that he has to destroy for no reason. He can't comprehend the fact that you were saying, like, we had a real moment there where he was letting me off the hook for not having this pilot get taken up. Yeah, he was being a comic, not an actor, which is rare in that world for someone to be real. And I thanked him for it, and I've paid the price ever since. I mean, I have to tell my family I'm not working again.
Starting point is 01:48:05 I had to break down a lot of people and explain to them the tough time. times ahead. Well, Adam, listen, you're the only one getting Shrapnel around here. I want you to know. I'm getting hit pretty hard as well. Good job. Now Carl is selling freeze dry, WATB Skittles Candy. He is?
Starting point is 01:48:23 That's a scam. It's a scam. You can get WTP candy. It's available at Leasel and Friends Gourmet.com. It's my brother and sister laws. little side products they're doing they're making free straight candies delicious go order some there's a link in
Starting point is 01:48:43 the description and they can give it who are these podcasts candy it's a scam where does he get off calling it just just saying whatever he wants just yeah yes it's it's a scam says stevie loo could you imagine i'm just trying to rip people off 10 bucks at a time ha ha got another one and it's surprisingly good candy so i don't understand the skin right uh all right anything else you want to play from your clips you have on here. You know how whenever Pat Dixon comes up? Kevin has to say, oh, the drug
Starting point is 01:49:12 addict, the loser fiend who's got an Adderall problem, the pill popper, the deviant. Look at how he handles Stevie Lou dealing drugs during the show. Give me one sec. I'll be right back. Oh, he's got to make a drug deal. Good for him.
Starting point is 01:49:29 Good for him. Because he said like, Matthew Perry, he's like, oh good, he's died. He's a drug addict. That's what They're supposed to happen to drug addicts. They die. The dealers, on the other hand, those are the good ones. Now, they're making money. Right.
Starting point is 01:49:42 It's all about making money. I'd love to end with Stevie Lou getting the last word. Oh, beautiful. And John Lovitz. I wonder if John Lovitz is going to play the same character. He plays in everything he's ever done. It stinks. Good stuff.
Starting point is 01:49:58 There you go. All right. So, apparently, Kevin has it all figured out when it comes entertainment in Hollywood. except for he's wrong about everything. Do you have anything to summarize for us that we just learned about? There's a lot to process here, Adam. Kevin, whenever you want to pay me for what you owe for losing the bet, just you can find my Venmo.
Starting point is 01:50:22 That'd be great. Or give it to Ron. You know what? Yeah, send it to my Venmo, actually, is Ronald dash Berman dash nine. So just send it there. Let's get into our other friend of the show. Greg Opie Hughes. This first clip is just for the board producer Chris.
Starting point is 01:50:54 This is just for us to enjoy in the future. Little bits and pieces. No, it's incredibly sad. Why would Ron say bits and pieces? If he's not a fan of this show. There was no context for it. He just said it. I'm not buying that he's not a huge fan of WATP. But Ron...
Starting point is 01:51:14 I could see him liking our... Artie Lang a lot. Or Artie Fletcher. Artie Fletcher, yeah, for sure. That's the problem with the name Ardy. So what's rewind Monday's episode. Yeah. Ron's not there.
Starting point is 01:51:28 It's just Tony P. And Opie is talking about how much better it is to live with nobody than growing up in his family. I mean, live with his current family than the family that he grew up with. I'm very lucky because. I grew up in a household that had so much turmoil, so much angst, so much darkness, so much yelling and screaming. And what's Ronnie asked him, if Ron goes, what was it like with your mom growing up? It's fine. She did her best.
Starting point is 01:52:01 What do you mean? And now with Tony P. Dude, you're not going to start talking about your mom, right? Okay, cool. My mom was such a C word. It was so brutal. I don't have that with my wife. Thank God.
Starting point is 01:52:15 I pause at a second I'm locked every one I know I'm I apologize for period he just said I grew up in a house of constant yelling and screaming and I'm so grateful that I don't live in a house like that anymore
Starting point is 01:52:28 thank you're the monster screaming in your house now there are other people there you became the thing you were afraid of don't you see that allegedly allegedly I'm locked every once you don't you don't disagree every once in a while
Starting point is 01:52:44 I'm regular shit. But nothing that lasts too long. I'll do silent treatment a little bit. I think that's kind of normal. And then, you know, we talk it out and we're good. We're good pretty quickly. Thank God. I got a buddy.
Starting point is 01:53:00 What are the chances? Hope he's passive aggressive at home. Right. Who'd you guess that? A little silent treatment. You know, just fuck with people for a while. Some door slamming. Yep.
Starting point is 01:53:12 This was coming out of a conversation where Tony was talking about how it's not human to do the silent treatment. You can't do that to people. It's wrong. And he completely agreed Opie, then brought this up and says, I do a little silent. Oh, a little silent treatment. So in other words, when you get hurt, you become a baby. You pout until someone else comes over and fixes it all for you.
Starting point is 01:53:31 Yep. Also, he goes, thank God. My home wife isn't like that. That's your decision. You can control that. I'd like that he just acts like it just play the luck of the draw. Yeah, you're right. My wife, I don't scream each other.
Starting point is 01:53:44 and don't yell at the kids. Yeah, no one has to do that. He talks like he could have ended up with that ex-girlfriend he hates. Thank God it didn't work out like that. What do you mean? He has no control over any of this. No control. Okay.
Starting point is 01:53:57 All right, so let's get into Howard Stern talk. Of course, we know Opie still thinks he's a rival with Howard Stern that he's doing things right and Howard is not. So what do you think about the Howard Stern stuff? I mean, I'm a bitter, dare I say. older gentlemen. So sure, you could see the bitterness dripping off me, the jealousy dripping off
Starting point is 01:54:20 my forehead. Like I work at a Chipotle in the back kitchen. It's dripping off me, Ron. I'll be the first to admit it. Because I saw the tantrums, this guy pulled over and over again against me and Anthony. And me and Anthony would look at each other going, this is
Starting point is 01:54:36 just fun. This isn't even real. This isn't even a real job. Why is he so bent out of shape? What's your take on the Howard? take. This is my take. Yeah. I need you to get off your butt, and I need you to get on that fucking phone. Yeah. Because there's a big
Starting point is 01:54:54 time slot at Sirius X-N that needs to be filled. Let's go. Let's show these motherfuckers what it's all about. Let's go. Is there anyone left that even likes you there? Is there anyone that you even pick up? If they saw Greg Hughes, would they even fucking pick up the phone? I'll never get it, Ron. For me,
Starting point is 01:55:14 I thought none of this is real. Why are you all bent out of shape? Excuse me, Mr. Richard. There's a Greg Hughes on the phone. Hang up. Ron still thinks there's a possibility that he could ride Opie's coattails back to a gig. Car Ruiz is the last guy to have that happen for him, getting paid to be on the radio because he knows Greg. But Opie has led him to believe this.
Starting point is 01:55:39 Of course he has. So it's like, hey, you know, Howard's doing one day a week. Be cool if like the Opie radio show was out. the other four days. Is anyone over there like you? He was fired for, well, nobody caring about a show, but more importantly, for the fact that he was filming a co-worker shitting and then showing it to people,
Starting point is 01:56:00 and the co-worker complained about that, and Obey goes, I thought everyone was joking around. It's not even real. Can you imagine he goes to the HRB? They're like, oh, did you guys see that video I shot? Dude, Roland, he's so fat. Do you see how much he was shitting? Greg, this is not,
Starting point is 01:56:14 no one thinks this is funny. This is not your radio. show here the human resources department right now and you're fired but i'm currently saying goodbye to you yeah but i'm dreaming this is a dream right because nothing this is real we should to decide this so we could uh get you on your way and never come back he's an inception or something what is he doing what does he mean this isn't real well i think that he has to try to justify the fact that he was fired from serious for an egregious offense really happened whatever the reasoning it happened It really happened.
Starting point is 01:56:44 All right. So fast forward later in the show. And, you know, Opie is probably not going to take over for the Howard Stern show. Now there's a lot of air time to be made up over on Sirius X-Sem. But that's okay. He's doing fine. By the way, what are we up to? Is there a chance we're doing the show tomorrow?
Starting point is 01:57:03 What's the total right now? Five. Let's go to the big board. We made $12. We need $150 to do a show tomorrow. That's what the big board says. $12. So we need what?
Starting point is 01:57:13 130. What's the math? We need another 138? We need another 138? We ain't doing a show tomorrow. And John's. I don't even come at me. Ron, don't even come at me.
Starting point is 01:57:26 Howard is off all summer. And then when he comes back Labor Day, he's going to do one show a week. So don't even come at me. Who wrong? Don't make a right. Joyce. So Opie's doing this thing again where he's like, it's a win-win. If I say I need a goal to be hit, then sometimes the goal gets it.
Starting point is 01:57:42 make money. And if it doesn't get it, I get a morning off. Cool. Equating himself to Howard Stern. Is insane. Yeah. Yeah. That's hilarious. I guess I'm just like Howard. I don't make, I make $12 in a morning and so I don't work the next day. Howard makes exponentially more than that not working. They're like, Howard. We just want to have your name on the channel. Can we give you tens of thousands of dollars a day for that? Howard's like, I guess. Well, I'll talk to my agent first. Let's see if we can do better. And not for nothing.
Starting point is 01:58:12 I'm not the smartest guy, but Ron, you couldn't do the math on that? He couldn't figure out. Well, Opie was also reluctant. He's like, well, we got 12. We need 150. He wanted to say 137. Yeah, it's like, uh. All right.
Starting point is 01:58:26 So almost as embarrassing as Jerry Banfield. Opie, he tells you too much sometimes. And you guys are familiar with Matt Rife? Very good looking comic who I would love to see a lot. someday. And Matt Rife apparently is following the opster on social media. So I realized that Matt Rife followed me. I went, holy shit.
Starting point is 01:58:54 So I reached out to him. I went, Matt, I see you follow me. That's badass. Congrats on your career. Been watching from afar, which I have. He writes, thank you so much, man. Been following for a long time.
Starting point is 01:59:10 since back when you were famous. Yeah, it's not the flex that you think it is. Before Matt Rife was famous back when you were Opie from Opie and Anthony. Did he mention me? No. So he's not paying attention anymore, Rod. No one's paying attention to you guys anymore, just us. Did he mention me?
Starting point is 01:59:27 What a needy bitch. So then I wrote, jump on my live stream tomorrow and say hi. Ribbits, ribbons. But that's good, right? It wasn't too desperate. it was just like, oh, why don't you jump on my live stream and say, there's ribet and there's crickets, right?
Starting point is 01:59:43 Yeah, yeah. Whatever, I don't read that pick. I've said a lot of dumb things. At least of what's happening, but also a lot of offensive. It's not a slide, I think. Right? It wasn't too desperate. It was just like, oh, why don't you jump on my live stream and say hi?
Starting point is 01:59:55 You know what I mean? It wasn't like, holy shit. You can fucking change my life if you jump on my live stream. It was more casual, like, hey, why don't you just jump on and say hi? And this is where, this is where people around me go, why do you show this shit? Quick question. Would Matt Rife showing up on his
Starting point is 02:00:12 live to change Opie's life? The answer is no. No. The answer is a definitive no. If Matt Rife was on this program next week, it would not change anyone's life. Because I think it's funny. So there's his response.
Starting point is 02:00:28 There's the whole conversation in case you didn't believe me. And then there's me saying, jump on my live stream tomorrow and say hi. And then I just, I didn't see after that. He went, he,
Starting point is 02:00:42 he, he, he, he, he, he, he went 30 doc zero. He went doc.
Starting point is 02:00:48 He didn't respond. As they say in the military, he went doc. Say it again. He didn't respond. He went doc. You know, and people around me go,
Starting point is 02:00:58 why would you show this stuff? I'm like, we believed you. Immediately when you said that Matt Rife didn't respond when I asked to come on the show, we all went, yeah, that sounds right.
Starting point is 02:01:06 No, no, no, I'll prove it. Eric Nagel is here. This is absolutely desperate. Yeah, he wants to get back to Matt Rife. That, hey, you know, O'Pie was talking about you and he goes to them. I'll make it right with him. Don't worry. It's fine.
Starting point is 02:01:22 I love when older people never even doubt for a second that they're maybe handling social media wrong or there's some nuance. They're missing. Like, it never occurs to him. He's like, I just said, maybe come on my life. You still asked him for something. It was one sentence and you took his kindness and you said, do something for me. I don't care how casual you said it was. And Opie started the conversation.
Starting point is 02:01:45 It was nice to get back to him. Hey, man, I see you're following me. Hey, man, yeah, I'm a big fan. Yeah. Matt Wright didn't have to do that. He's a very famous guy who's usually texting with hot chicks. Yeah. He doesn't have to respond to 68-O.P.
Starting point is 02:01:57 I know that you're not 668 Opie. I just, I know that bothers you. So the fact that he responded is just like, leave it alone. That's the favor. That's the favor. Yes. And the fact that opia had to come to a show and go, I'll prove to you that Matt Wright was a jerk.
Starting point is 02:02:10 He didn't even respond to another needy request that I had. He hasn't even crossed the bridge and he burned it. Right. Our friend Anthony Coomia, I would never ask anyone to come on my show. If they wanted to, they'd ask me, opia has zero pride or ability to read the room. Careful saying that out loud, Anthony.
Starting point is 02:02:29 You get a lot of messages for people. Quadfather coming up on tax. later today. I'm kidding. Anthony was great on the BYB program as we covered last week. I liked what he just took over from Quad and started running the show himself. Yes. That's why it wasn't working the other way.
Starting point is 02:02:49 It was a good appearance, obviously. All right. So you just saw that embarrassing back and forth where Obie had to prove that Matt Rife didn't respond to him. And so that reminds Opie at the time that he asked Bert Kreischer to be on his podcast. My favorite one of all time is Bert Kreischer, where, you know, I started the podcast. I desperately needed help to get this off the ground. And I reached out to all the guys that I absolutely helped early out of their careers, right? And Bert was one of those guys.
Starting point is 02:03:21 I reached out to Bert. Hey, Bert, you know, I mean a lot if you come on the podcast. You know, I'm getting things going and, you know, whatever. And I just assume it was a no-brainer because Bert was on many versions of my radio shows over the years. Many, many. So I'm thinking this is no-brainer. Of course he's going to do this. Of course he's going to return the favor.
Starting point is 02:03:38 Of course he's going to remember when he wasn't a huge star yet. And he was coming on our show. He's going to remember all that, Ron. He's got a big television show now. And this is my favorite response ever. Ron, there to twist the knife. Ron's like, I've even heard of this guy. That's how famous he is.
Starting point is 02:03:56 I don't know anything about anything. Yeah, yeah. I think that Opie goes, where I needed someone to help me get my podcast off the ground. He debuted at number two. on Apple Podcasts. He needed someone to make a show good. Yeah. Not get it off the ground.
Starting point is 02:04:11 And he'd be pressured to get my show off the grounds. People would have eyeballs on it. You were Opie from Opie Anthony and you were gone for eight months and you watched Opie Radio on Westwood One. Everyone went, oh, what's this going to be? And then you were in a cabin with Carl Ruiz. The one time did not play the victim. And then you were at a bar. Can you turn the music down?
Starting point is 02:04:32 And then you were on a street yelling at Bums. show he's going to remember all that he's got a big television show now and this is my favorite response ever I go hey can you come out on my show you know and instead of saying yes or instead of saying no all he wrote back to me was
Starting point is 02:04:51 I'll always be a fan what the fuck he's better off ghosting you what a I'll always do what like what a That's worth. He goes, I'll always be a family. He's like, fucking with you.
Starting point is 02:05:12 It will never happen, buddy, is what he's saying. These fuckers, what you learn, what you learn, because I met all of them, they're all mentally fucking challenged. They're mentally ill. Hold on a second.
Starting point is 02:05:27 So, Bert Kreischer, instead of just saying flat, no, was just like, always up your buddy. Don't have time for it. Don't need it. it always love you, which proves that he's mentally ill.
Starting point is 02:05:39 Yeah. And that they all are? Yeah, he's met all of them. That's funny too. Like, that's a perfect example of how Opie thinks that this is all happening to him, rather than him being the master of his own universe. Yeah. Can you imagine every single person in show business is mentally ill?
Starting point is 02:05:58 It's weird, because I see like Bill Maher gets guest sod and Joe Rogan and all these shows. You get guest side. They respond to them. And thank God, I don't have to deal with any of them anymore. He's so fucking retarded. That is kind of a dick move from Burke Chrysier, I think. I think it's the funniest thing he's ever said. Yeah, that might be this best line.
Starting point is 02:06:18 It is the, you look like you're having fun up there. It's a classic. It is. It's a way of saying no, but I ask Opie and Ron, tell us how the correct way is to say no. Because there is none for you. Any way he would have said no, you would have shit on and felt awful. What a dick, he didn't respond. What a dick he said, no, I don't have time. What a dick, he said pass.
Starting point is 02:06:38 Exactly. It's so busy. Meanwhile, you say all the comics are mentally ill, and you're so glad to be in a home where everyone's quiet in calm. You are screaming at the top of your lungs. Right. But being the contrarian that he is with Ron, as soon as Ron says it's a dick move, he's like, yeah, well, you know. Right. Like, Ron can do no rights.
Starting point is 02:07:00 Opie, you brought it up in this guy's mind. Well, one of the good ones, of course, is our boss. Jim Forentine is a friend of every show in the dabbled verse, even though he wants nothing to do with it. The two friends I met that were your friends were actually good people. Jim Jeffries just oozes like a good guy. And Florentine, by the way, Florentine is really hitting the comedy circuit. No, he's, I'm proud and happy for Florentine.
Starting point is 02:07:26 He's a very good guy, and he's a good guy. I met him. He's having a very, he's having a decent run right now. So maybe we'll try to get him on again. The one time he did say yes. Jesus Christ, the one guy who actually fucking did it and your equipment, like literally. Shut the bed that day. We didn't even do the show.
Starting point is 02:07:45 No, while we're setting up, everything shit to shit to bed and I had to buy all new shit. The one guy who showed up. He showed up and I go, Floreteen. I don't know what to tell you. Everything just shit to bed. It was multiple breakdowns. My laptop and it was, I was like, I'm so sorry. Even though it wasn't a live show, we hung out for a couple hours, having some bruskees.
Starting point is 02:08:05 Oh, he's awesome. So it was great. And by the way... Okay. Yeah. So I like that in Ron's mind. By the way, Jim Ford is blown up in the comedy circuit. Must mean that he saw that Jim was performing at a club that he's been to recently or nearby
Starting point is 02:08:18 him or something. I'm seeing him everywhere. I mean, Jude Ford has been a road comic for 30 years plus or whatever. He's like, by the way, you know, he's like doing comedy on the road these days. Yep. And it's true. And Opie says he's proud of him. Is it your place to be?
Starting point is 02:08:35 proud? It's such a bizarre exchange right there. And unfortunately for Jim Forerty, who is the nicest guy I've ever met in show business, this is the one guy who's like, he might actually say yes to my answer to be on the show. The one guy that Opie is like not afraid to ask to come on the show. And so Jim is going to be like, uh, always be a fan. We also need to take in the crux of this conversation. Ronnie was talking about like, who are your real friends? Right. And some, not celebrities, and somehow they landed on Jim Jeffries and Florentine. Those are not friends. Those are colleagues, former colleagues that are still tolerate you or still nice to you.
Starting point is 02:09:15 No, but Jim Jeffries is such a nice guy, Adam. And the reason why Ron knows that is because he met Jim Jeffries and Jim said this. Oh, boy, here we go. By the way, you know what one of the highlights of that evening was? Jim Jeffreffries came out to me. He goes, hey, Ron, it's good to see you again. And I'm like, we've met. And he goes, oh, honestly, like, I watch.
Starting point is 02:09:34 you all the time. I feel like I know you. I went, Oh, he's the guy that, uh, God, Ron, just comes off as so desperate, so easily starstruck, he just doesn't have it. This is the guy's like, hey, call up your friends over a serious next up. It's got us on a
Starting point is 02:09:50 morning show over there. He's like, Jim Jeffrey, do I was. He likes my stuff on Instagram and he writes me every once in a while and it's, it's just nice. I don't know why I don't invite him on this thing. I don't know. I think because I've been rejected so many times. You're done shy at this point.
Starting point is 02:10:08 I'm feeling fragile. When the great Burk Chrysler answers by saying I'll always be a fan, it kind of leaves a bruise. A little bit of a bruise. The only time Burk Christ would be great is if his kid's kid have a kid. A brutal statement. And then Joe Rogan, people make it's a relative joke. Fun of the video that I made after Rogan rejected me, but at least At least Burke Kreiser acknowledged I talked.
Starting point is 02:10:36 Rogan didn't even acknowledge I asked him. Oh, that's fucking bullshit. Opie didn't have Joe Rogan's current phone number. And so Opie texted him, which didn't go through to him, and he DMed him, which Joe Rogan's not checking his DMs. He said that. He went on Anthony's show. He was just like, I didn't know that Opie was reaching out to me.
Starting point is 02:10:54 He doesn't have my current number, and I'm not looking at my DMs. It's too much. And so Opie makes it Joe Rogan's fault for not responding to him. Rogan rejected me, but at least Burkriek, Christ, you acknowledge I talked. Rogan didn't even acknowledge. I asked them. Ah, these people, they're just, ah, don't, oh, Ron, if you get famous, don't hang out with these people.
Starting point is 02:11:15 Don't. Don't worry about it. We'll always be French. Whatever, I don't care. I like you, but I already understand what happens with these things. All right, let me go. You go. No, why don't you go, Ron?
Starting point is 02:11:30 Why don't you leave like dating? Wow. So what's wild is the truth just snuck out right there. So, you know, Opie's just, or Ron's like, I'll still be your friend if I get famous. And Opie just said, I don't even care. Yeah. That was the truth. It's like, he's never been invited to the beach house.
Starting point is 02:11:53 O'bby doesn't care about Ron? I don't think he was even listening to what Ron was saying. I don't know. I think he heard the part where I'll always be your friend and Ope goes, I don't even care. I mean, it's funny either way. He doesn't give a shit. Yeah, he said, I don't even care, meaning all of it and you included, because then he added, I know how this works. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:12:11 Meaning, even if you actually did become famous, you would forget me. And I already hate you now for what you are going to do to me in the future. Missy B. says Joe did address it to Anthony. What's wrong with your boy? Yeah, I watched that episode of Anthony Acumia when, so Joe was in New York for a UFC event or something. And that's when Opie was like, hey, Joe, come on my show. And he's doing the spinning thing in the street. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:12:32 but Joe didn't get the two messages before that that Opie was like, why is this guy getting back to me? So then Joe Rogan just saw Opie being like, hey, I told you your show's great. I said it's awesome. I want you get back to me. I don't, you don't have my number. I didn't know.
Starting point is 02:12:48 Joe needed space. I should bring up, we talked about this before. I think we're going to do a bonus show, Patreon.com, I'm two of these podcasts, where we revisit Opie as the guests on the Joe Rogan experience. So much time has passed, so many things have happened. I think that would be really fun. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:13:06 To go back and revisit that era of Greg Opie Hughes. Similar to like when we go living in the past, Stuttering John, and he's like, my career's still in front of me. I'm doing big things. We're going to get out of TV show. We've been picked up by this radio network. And then nothing happened. I think Opie's in the same spot.
Starting point is 02:13:23 I've got to be bigger than Piscopo. You hear that, Kimballie? All right. So, um, let's, get into, you know, Ron talking about this Matt Rife thing. We need some celebrities on here. I'm not stupid, Ron. You get any fame.
Starting point is 02:13:41 You're going to follow suit with the rest of these assholes. I'm going to respond. I'm going to do a birdie. Dude, why didn't Matt Rife respond? Why said, hey, jump on my podcast. He didn't write it. Oh, shit. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 02:13:53 Oh, I didn't want to go that far. All right. And then when I do get bigger and you reach out to me, I'll do a Bernie and I'll go, uh, you'll always be a friend, Opie. Whatever. You'll always be a friend. Look, I got a real friend. I don't need the friends in the business, trust me.
Starting point is 02:14:13 I got real friends that aren't assholes. Yeah. Ah. I think, FM all. By the way. FM. Yeah. FM.
Starting point is 02:14:21 Did he say Bernie twice? He did. About Burke Kreiser. He's called him Bernie. And he's misquoting him. Yeah. Well, I think that was the joke, I guess. Okay.
Starting point is 02:14:32 Opie going back to the I have real friends thing He says that a lot Yeah I don't hear that a ton of people who have real friends You know what I mean? It's kind of a weird thing I have real friends who are cool They're cooler than all these people Blow me off all the time
Starting point is 02:14:46 It's like when somebody says I'm a good person I'm a good person Yeah It's like well you're saying that That's why I don't believe it All right let's find out about the Venmo And check out the chat here
Starting point is 02:14:59 They write something very very brilliantly All right Listen, we put a bounty on the show today. If I don't make $150, no show tomorrow, we're up to $15. Yeah, we're not doing it going to go tomorrow. The Cheeseburger Walrus before. Let me zoom in on this real quick. So the Super Cheddar is $5.00 from Cheeseburger Walrus.
Starting point is 02:15:18 Before I forget, the Blemford Recreational Center is collecting bottles for charity. What is Ron's top donation? We'd like to try to match it. Brilliant. Clever way to try to figure out how much money Ron has gotten. And flood it with all that other wording that he can't. read quickly so we can't pre-read this and know that it's coming. It's brilliant.
Starting point is 02:15:36 I don't know if I'm allowed to say this or not, but I'm going to say it anyway. This might be a friend of Chris Primers. Chris Primer's been giving money to Opie and Rod for a while now, and they just stopped reading his super chats because Op was like, that's not one of ours. So Chris Primer, we documented this. He gave $20, $30, $10, $10. None of it got read on the show. And so the cheeseburger Walrus comes in with $5.
Starting point is 02:16:01 and asks about this. And they just won't acknowledge it. It's too confusing. I forget the Blamford Recreational Center is collecting bottles for charity. What is Ron's top donation? We like to try and match it. All right. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:16:17 This guy's been trying to do a bid all morning. We don't get your bid. I'm sorry. But thanks for your $5. The question is, how much money has Ron gotten from his biggest donor on Venmo? Because he's bitching about it and acting like he's not making any money. $5.
Starting point is 02:16:32 Thank you. Oh, look at Joyce. Ron, let Opie finish. Ron, let Opie finish. Joyce, I'm going to need you to change your attitude. Right. Real quick, Joyce. I don't want to have to give you a spanking.
Starting point is 02:16:50 So that's the mystery there. When we're wondering why all of a sudden there's these new people who are asking about Ron's Benmo. That wasn't the only super chat he sent during this episode. so no everything else was ignored except for that one because I think you're right he stuck up by the goalie with all that upfront stuff so he's like oh here's five bucks from someone
Starting point is 02:17:08 I never heard of before oh what is his justification telling Ron why he goes they're trying to pull a joke they've been trying what's the joke yeah what do you mean and what does Ron think the joke is there oh how much money is he raised I think Ron is burning inside he's like oh this could be real they could be matching
Starting point is 02:17:24 my biggest donation I think what's happening here is that OP controls the Venmo Yeah. Opie is keeping Ron in the dark about how much money he makes, which is why Opie hates when people ask questions about Ron's medma. Ah, whatever, whatever. And actually, there's something that's coming up that would really fuck up Opie
Starting point is 02:17:41 based on the fact that Ron can't check his Venmo during the show because he only has that one phone. They can only do one thing at a time. Apparently it's an iPhone one because you couldn't multitask on the first iPhone. But I guess that's what he's using because he can't possibly go on Google or anything else why he's doing the show, which is not true. Once he puts it in full screen, I don't think, I think that's it. Yeah, he's done.
Starting point is 02:18:04 Yeah. All right, this happened to me on Point, devil point. It's not happened to me tonight, so I guess I didn't hit whatever change over whatever it is on the back end of my YouTube channel. There's a new thing that's going on. People are giving gems and jewels and whatever kind of shit to people and no one could figure it out. Like, I was on Julie's network on Point Deble Point.
Starting point is 02:18:22 And we just kept getting these gems and things. And she was like, I don't know what any of this means. He wasn't sure if he should read it or not. Everyone's throwing gems at us. is it good? It's a new feature on YouTube. I, McPuffin giving us gems, Cornediff giving us gems, McPuffin giving us more gems, Todd giving us gems. Todd giving us gems.
Starting point is 02:18:42 What is a gem? Todd, giving us more gems. Sounds dirty. Giving us gems with a floating heart, cornediff. Oh my God. What is all these gems? Is that good? Coming in like crazy. What's a gem? Ron, look up. much a gem is on YouTube. I only have one phone.
Starting point is 02:19:03 Sorry, buddy. Huh? I only have one phone. So I can't shut on Opegis surely rationaled almost the exact same way. What is this? What are I looking at? What is there you this fucking meme? But Ope used to love those Facebook stars. Oh, yeah. You always ask for Facebook stars that we found out were a penny
Starting point is 02:19:19 apiece. Well, what's a gem worth? They're giving us pennies all day, Ron. A penny. How many pennies did we get? well i know it's part of your culture so you're excited about pennies but a penny yes that's how we say it yeah how patty how many pennies penny da na na na na na na na it's raining pennies oh do i still have anthony's fucking number of my phone let me see i can't sit here and make pennies every day i didn't understand that at first
Starting point is 02:19:59 Because first off, it's like, oh, Jew jokes, which I saw Adam was laughing hysterically. I was pretty good stuff. You know, you Jews and your pennies. Well, there was a funny one right. It was genuinely funny when he goes, there were pennies. And Ron's response was, how many pennies? That's funny. Leave it there.
Starting point is 02:20:17 You don't have to then, yeah. Rewit it. But so then he goes, do I still have Anthony's number? And this is where he loses me. You could make millions with him. I could make millions. easily. I know that. I know. Look at me. The brilliance is just dripping on on me. I can, but I don't feel like it. I'd rather collect pennies.
Starting point is 02:20:38 Opie could not make millions of dollars with Anthony. It's just not the case. Anthony's doing fine. He does very well with his programs that he does. He's not looking for Opie to drag him down. Could they do a reunion or something? It's Skankfest. Yes. Could they get some money? Yes. They're not going to get a multi-million dollar contract for the Opie and Anthony show to reboot. I don't know what he thinks a friend is, but a friend isn't the person who could change your life in a heartbeat and give you millions of dollars in your dream career,
Starting point is 02:21:07 but just doesn't feel like it. Right, yes. If that's really what he thinks, that's retarded. It's what that is. Well, here, we just got another two, oh, wait, two gems equals $100. Nice. No, I thought, I thought of gems a penny. No, I think Block is messing with me.
Starting point is 02:21:27 Block is messing with me. All right. All right, Ron. Thank you. Okay. So let's figure it out. We got PayPal. We got Venmo.
Starting point is 02:21:38 We can give them money. People aren't giving them money. They only made $12. But why should we give money to run? Thank you. If you gave some gems, whatever that is, I'll find out what a gem is for tomorrow or the next day show. Thank you to John Courts. He PayPal's me.
Starting point is 02:21:52 That was really nice. That was how it was nice. If you want to Venmo, Ronnie, it's up there at Ronald Berman dash 9 Right. Do you know how many times Opie has said to me during the show? Hey Ron, quickly look
Starting point is 02:22:07 up and see what this is or check that and I'm like, I can, I only have one phone. Right. You want to help Ronnie out so maybe Ronnie can have two phones so I can enhance the show? I like that. A lot of times Opie goes, Ron, I like that. Google now what this is. And I'm like, I can't, I only have
Starting point is 02:22:23 one phone. Maybe through Venmo Ronnie, we can get All right, Ron, they get it. They get it. They're either going to do it or not. Too baggy. Too baggy. Too baggy.
Starting point is 02:22:35 You got to make believe it's just a thing. You got to make believe that when money comes in while you're live streaming, you're not freaking out like, oh, my God, it just made $10. Oh, I want you so bad. You got to do money. This guy, Todd, rock star a day, throwing gems at us all day. All day, whatever a gem is. I'm going to find out, though.
Starting point is 02:22:54 Thank you, Todd. And thank you to this guy. He just gave us a quick dollar 99. the way out. Ron, great show. You look super handsome today. Oh, damn, Ronnie Faye. Thank you, sir. Don't be too beggy. He learned it from watching you, Opie. That's insane. You know what? You're coming off a little bit desperate. Anyway, if we don't make $150, I won't be doing a show tomorrow.
Starting point is 02:23:15 And please donate to my new tooth fund for my dentist. I learned it by watching you. It's unbelievable. This asshole can sit there and tell Ron not to beg for money. Who was Ron appealing to? Okay. I was very annoyed with the fact that Ron goes,
Starting point is 02:23:35 do you guys hear how OPI's asked me to multitask during the show? If only I had a second phone, you can get an Android tablet for 70, 75 bucks at Walmart or Target. It's very affordable. I know the World Cup is over, but maybe there's other sporting events. People will come to your bar for and tip you, Ron. Go buy a tablet.
Starting point is 02:23:57 You could get on the internet and you can do all these things. You can look at your Venmo, pull up all the apps that you need. Ron thinks he needs a second phone. I know that Ron owns a Google phone. He was bragging about years ago because it costs like a thousand bucks, $1,200, something like that. In Ron's mind, he needs to have a $1,200 phone in order to Google something during the show. Maybe Stuttering John will donate an iPad Mini.
Starting point is 02:24:23 Yes, an iPad Mini that is un-updatable. It's a simple process of picking it up, though. Yeah, it's a lot of work. That's a good point. And OPE's Internet's garbage. How is this possible? How is he not getting a mesh network, repeaters, something? Like I said, months ago, when I moved to my house in Florida, my Wi-Fi wasn't strong enough.
Starting point is 02:24:47 So I went out and bought a 100-foot Ethernet cable at Office Depot, whatever it's called these days. Like, that day, just ran a fucking hard line to my computer. Opie is freezing up. It's so obnoxious. Like, this is a house he does shows three months out of the year, and the internet doesn't work. And so the way that this show ends is perfect. Thank you for bearing with the freeze framing. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 02:25:13 We had a really nice number considering the video sucks today. Again. I'm taking tomorrow off. Fuck it. Perfect, Opie. Perfect ending to this shit show. that you call a Begathon. Oh, wait, I call it a Begathon.
Starting point is 02:25:31 All right. So there's one more clip on here. You want to set it up for us, Adam? It's just a perfect little short film explaining the past, present, and future of Opie Radio. I think if they're competing with TikTok, probably, or TikTok, you could give them. We don't even live stream on TikTok anymore because they can't take any of this. Oh, my God. This is, this is, listen, things are going to get much worse.
Starting point is 02:25:57 Yep. Bold prediction, but you are correct, sir. Do you are exciting for TikTok? Mm-hmm. Too unleashed. You know, you know I'm a professional producer, Chris? Oh. Because we have review girls on this show.
Starting point is 02:26:15 That's right. Megan is here. What's up, Megan? Hello. How's it going? And Annie is back. Hey, Annie. Oh, hello.
Starting point is 02:26:23 You made the move? I did. Thank you. Well, how is your new place? It's mostly done. Mostly done. Looks good. I love it, other than my neighbors, but, you know, there's always neighbors to hate.
Starting point is 02:26:35 What does that matter? Just the people you live next to? That can't bother you at all, obviously. No problems. I like your background, Danny. No, thanks. It's going to improve over the next couple weeks. There's a lot of dead space.
Starting point is 02:26:50 We have a, is it gay? Before we get into that, it looks like we have a new gay thoughts. Yes. Gay thoughts by Aaron M. Holt, who's totally not gay? I mean, it keeps me satisfied. They suck my dick real nice. What can I say? Carl's got a pretty mouth.
Starting point is 02:27:10 He sucks my dick very nice. Adam Bush has a pretty mouth. He sucks my dick very nice. Moody has a terrible Arab sand. Sucks my dick terribly, but he thinks he does a good job. So you don't want to discourage a guy like that. Gay thoughts by Aaron M. Holte. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:27:28 Megan for bringing that to the program. It learned a lot. Was that AI? No, I got that clip from our buddy bubble popper the morning it came out. I'm going to need you to send me that clip. Your mouth's real purdy, Adam. All right, we got a game to play. It might suck, but I have my fingers crossed.
Starting point is 02:27:49 Is it weird or is it gay? What will we ever say today? Is it gay? So, Megan, you had to go to rumble for this one. Mm-hmm. He has said, no thanks to YouTube, so it's all rumble. You can't find a show on YouTube at all anymore, the new episodes. No, he doesn't post them anymore. Okay.
Starting point is 02:28:10 Well, we got a little experiment here. Let's see what happens. This is our first round. We've got to figure out if it's gay or not. We'll hear Aaron set up a topic. Then Megan will ask each of us, is he going to say it's gay or not? and each round is worth one point, five rounds, and then we get into the final round worth three points.
Starting point is 02:28:32 Let's get into it. Uh-oh, we're off to a by star. Here we go. What's doing? Look who's here. Perfect timing. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the birthday boy.
Starting point is 02:28:51 The big five. The big zero. Oz is four. 50 today. All right. Move a little closer to me, Stud. Oh, boy.
Starting point is 02:29:10 Is it gay for two men to sit close to each other? Adam. Yes. Carl. I think he's going to realize that that sounds really gay. Chris. Gay. And it's a big zero.
Starting point is 02:29:23 I know. I like that. The big five, the big zero. Annie. It's not gay. All right. And he thinks that it won't be
Starting point is 02:29:33 literal on this one. Let's find out. Here, a little out of frame there. Not too much. I don't want it to be gay. Yes. That is gay right there. Sitting close to each other.
Starting point is 02:29:47 All right. You may be turning 50, but he has the teeth of a teenager. Oof. Round two. Rumbles is it gay? No. So like Pete Egg-Seth going, soldier, I want to see you get a rock-hard cock into your 40s.
Starting point is 02:30:04 Take these pills. Like, no, we're good. To operate at your absolute best. Because it's well-established science that as we age, testosterone levels often naturally drop. Thanks, Jim Teacher Heggs. Under the supervision of our world-class medical professionals, firefighters, age 30 and older,
Starting point is 02:30:24 are going to be tested annually as part of their periodic health assessment. It's a health assessment that happens every year. we're just adding this test. We're going to use my penis as an anal thermometer. Is it gay to test men over 30 for their testosterone levels in the military? Annie. No? Not gay?
Starting point is 02:30:47 Chris. I think it's a setup. Not gay. Carl. I like Annie's confidence. Watch this, Annie. Not gay. That's how you do it.
Starting point is 02:30:59 going gay. It's not gay. Yes. Yeah, I don't like this guy. All right. I think it's the first one we had a not gay where he actually said it's not gay. Yeah, I think you're right. It's a little literal.
Starting point is 02:31:14 He's like really enjoying the game. Our buddy aired him all. Thanks for that. All right. Round three. Really weird. All right. Red Fox Matt, we're having a weird food segment.
Starting point is 02:31:24 Weird food. You're going to have a weird food segment. Red Fox Madd sent in something on Rocky Mountain Oysters, which, if I recall correctly, are bull balls. You know they have a testicle festival? I think it's in Montana. It's called the testicle festival, and it's just different animal balls,
Starting point is 02:31:46 and you go there and you celebrate and you eat them. Different ball recipes, the whole thing. I learned that when I was on radio in Lichfield, and then also there's something called Lubowski Fest every year. A cousin and I were going to go to Lubowski Fest, but then we got girlfriends. Is Lobowski Fest gay, Adam? Yeah. Carl.
Starting point is 02:32:11 I can't imagine it is. I'm going to say Robowski Fest is not gay. Chris. Not gay. Annie. It doesn't sound gay. It sounds exotic. Exotic?
Starting point is 02:32:29 All right, let's find out. Only Adam thinks it's gay. And they said they would leave us if we went to something as gay as Lobowski Fest. Oh, well, okay. So the girlfriends thought it was gay. Well, they don't understand. I guess Adam gets the point. Adam gets the point.
Starting point is 02:32:43 Son of a bitch. They're big fans of Knox Harrington, the video artist. I hate Adam so much. All right. Round four. Mew. Cowboy Caviar or Montana Tender Groyne became a competition places where cattle ranching is a way of life.
Starting point is 02:33:00 and regular bull castration led to loads of extra testes. Oh, hell, what are we going to do with all these extra testes? The traditional method of preparing them couldn't be more simple. You take your beef, you peel it, you pound it flat, and then you dust it with flour, salt, and pepper. Then the dusted testes are deep fried and served with warm cocktail sauce. Is it gay to not have cocktail sauce for your Rocky Mountain oysters? Annie.
Starting point is 02:33:28 Yeah, it's gay. Chris. Gay to not have it is the question? It's confusing. Like it matters. I'll just go gay. Chris is coming up on this one. I'm going to go not gay.
Starting point is 02:33:42 Also, is warm cocktail sauce a thing? Cocktail sauce is served cold, right? It is. Yeah. Why would you have warm cocktail sauce? I don't know. Can you hear my salsa, please? What are we doing?
Starting point is 02:33:55 Adam. Gay. All right. Am I the little not gay on this one? Yeah. I mean, of course, why wouldn't you use cocktail sauce for balls? I mean, what are you fucking gay? How does it taste?
Starting point is 02:34:08 So who won? Yeah, seriously. What does that mean? Whoever said gay got it right. All right. That's what I'm easy enough. I'm getting my ass kicked. I'm getting my shit pushed in, as Eric would say.
Starting point is 02:34:21 Round five, the final round worth one point. You see, there are some beautiful filets and some beautiful olive oil. People love this shit, don't they? and a little bit fishy in the best possible way. I feel like I'm right next to the ocean. Nice light olive oil. Oh, that's what that is. That's just olive oil with fish in it. Beautiful big...
Starting point is 02:34:45 I think I might end up liking this shit. Is it gay to keep smelling your canned fish? Adam. Yeah. It's the opposite of gay. No, it's not gay. Chris. I kind of agree with Carl.
Starting point is 02:35:03 Come on. Annie? Not gay? You put your dick in it. That would be appropriate. I might. One big, beautiful fillet, both sides of the fish, absolutely gorgeously packed. So smoking.
Starting point is 02:35:19 All right, bro, you've got to stop smelling it so much. That's a little weird. Yes. Yes. It's a little too heterosexual, which is weird. All right. We are into the final round. worth three points before we get there.
Starting point is 02:35:33 What are the scores? Producer Chris. Carl, you have three. Adam has three, and he's got three. I've got four. Interesting. I thought I was further behind for some reason. All right.
Starting point is 02:35:43 To anyone's game, this is the final round. It's worth three points. It is not, is it gay? Megan is going to give us three different choices. Megas, should we make this four? I know it's more work for you, but since there's four of us, but it makes sense.
Starting point is 02:35:56 I'll try it next week. I just thought of that now. I don't know why I just thought of that now. I don't know this case is even harder because it's on a rumble. but do you need it's gone pretty well so it has gone well do you need rumble premium by the way do you have rumble premium I don't okay let me know if you need it because I know this okay this website sucks if you don't have premium it's so yeah I have YouTube premium but uh rumble like an adult yeah well of YouTube premium all right final round annoyed wah-wa supervisor says this fat fuck will literally look for any excuse to put honey mustard on something
Starting point is 02:36:32 How much treat do you need? Can I, may I just, may I experiment with new things? Well, no, that's probably not. That doesn't work out. You know, if anyone in this world ever should have stuck to the tried and true, it's probably me. Aaron continues to lament about his experimental days, you know, drugs swinging, Nicarata.
Starting point is 02:36:57 What vocabulary word of the day does Aaron use to describe his? lack of expertise. Gay. You got it right. One, ample, God, I can't say, I can't say words. Amplitude,
Starting point is 02:37:15 two, fiefdom, or three, Baileywick. Adam. It's fiefdom or Baileywick. I'm going to go with fiefdom.
Starting point is 02:37:28 Carl. I'm going bellywick. Chris. Amplafetude Annie Number two Beastdom All right
Starting point is 02:37:44 Let's find out Maybe trying new things Not my Baileywick Yes As they say Trampling at the zoo Says some I believe that makes
Starting point is 02:37:55 Me the weaner It does What? All right That's exciting I feel like Chris, you could have just copied me and won the game, but... I don't do that. You want your bonus this month, and I appreciate that.
Starting point is 02:38:14 What you're talking about? I doesn't pay anyone. I chose gay for every answer and I was competitive. Is that what your strategy was for that? That's funny, because you did say gay in the bonus, too. All right. Great game, Megan. Thank you for putting that together for us.
Starting point is 02:38:29 We always appreciate a round of, is it gay? and then we have the Opier Burr game, if you're not familiar with this game, it turns out Greg Opie Hughes, who we've been making fun of for nine years now, is just as bad at broadcaster as Bill Burr. They're almost identical the way they talk and broadcast,
Starting point is 02:38:49 and it's very difficult to figure out who's saying what. They even laugh the same. Yes. Mother of mercy, we're at it again. I'm Simon. This is Opeer Burr, and we are rolling right into round one. So she stinks because she's on the other side where she basically wants everybody to wear a dress in America.
Starting point is 02:39:10 It's like, no, the answers right the fuck somewhere in the goddamn middle. Time to register those votes. God, that sounds like an opiism. What do you think, producer, Chris? Is that your answer? I'm going opi. All right, I'm going burr. Martin?
Starting point is 02:39:29 Opie. Annie. It does sound like opi. Adam? Opie. And here's the answer. Yes, she's on the other side where she basically wants everybody to wear a dress in America. It's like, no, the answer's right the fuck somewhere in the goddamn middle.
Starting point is 02:39:48 Only some people should wear dresses. Like maybe half or a little more. Wise Opie, the only one that understands round two. Ah, Jesus Christ. Now this fucking guy stands. at me. Jesus fucking Christ. Like what,
Starting point is 02:40:07 what, what exactly? Oh, I know why. Because I'm doing a fucking podcast in a car. Maybe that's what it is.
Starting point is 02:40:16 Time to register those votes. Adam, what do you got for this one? Bill Burr. Annie? I think it's a mystery. I think it's Burr. Megan.
Starting point is 02:40:29 I'll go Opie. Producer Chris? Burr. Yeah, I think it's a misdirect. I think it's Bill Burr, but could just be the easiest answer. Let's find out. And here's the answer. Jesus Christ, now this fucking guy's staring at me.
Starting point is 02:40:46 Jesus fucking Christ. Like, what exactly? I know why? Because I'm doing a fucking podcast in a car. Maybe that's what it is. It's because you're interrupting his podcast on the sidewalk. It's also because you're Bill Burr. This guy's staring at me.
Starting point is 02:41:05 Giant celebrity. Let's spin around in circles for round three. I don't like the that you, I don't like the that. What if I was to tell you that the answer is this and that? How about it's everybody's right? And if you put it all together, you get the fucking truth. Time to register those votes. Megan, what do you got?
Starting point is 02:41:34 Burr? I'm going Bill Burr as well. Annie, what do you think? Opie? Adam? Burr. Producer Chris?
Starting point is 02:41:44 Burr. Let's go Burr. And here's the answer. I don't like what you say. I don't like the that. What if I was to tell you that the answer is this and that? How about it's everybody's right. And if you put it all together, then you get the.
Starting point is 02:42:02 fucking truth. Good news for Joseph Stalin. I don't have a joke ready for round four. You talk to the astronauts when they went to the moon. And yes, we went to the moon. We went to the moon many, many times. And then time to register those votes. Adam, what do you got for going to the moon? Opie. I'm going to go Opie as well. I think Bill knows the truth. Producer Chris, what do you got? I went opies. I was talking about the sky. Yeah, that's true. Megan. Opie.
Starting point is 02:42:37 Annie. Opie sweep. All right. It's all Ops. And here's the answer. You talk to the astronauts. When they went to the moon and yes, we went to the moon, we went to the moon many, many times. And then... I told you I didn't have a joke ready.
Starting point is 02:42:57 Stabilize and enhance round five. And then we had some... You know, we go to the, what is it called? Kmart. I forgot the name of the Korean grocery. I think it's Kmart. Time to register those votes. All right.
Starting point is 02:43:19 Everyone remember that. It's round five. What are the scores? I believe I'm perfect. Yeah, you and Adam are tied four and the rest of us have three. I've never gotten everyone right before. Come on, Carl. I think.
Starting point is 02:43:31 Fuck this up. Kmart is a joke about K-pop. I think it's Bill Burr because it's too clever for Opie. What say you, Megan? I'll copy off of your paper and say Burr. God damn it. I shouldn't have given away my paper. Anna, what are you got? I'm going with Bill Burr because H-Mart, I know it's a West Coast thing.
Starting point is 02:43:51 I don't know if they're on the East Coast. Oh. Well, they're, hmm. I don't know. Why would you go Bill Burr of that just because he's from the East Coast? He lives on the West Coast now. No, they're on the West Coast. forgive me. They're on the West Coast.
Starting point is 02:44:02 That would make sense. He's on the West Coast, yeah. Producer Chris. I was going bird before I looked at your paper. All right. Annie, what do you got? I'm going to risk it on Opie. Let's go.
Starting point is 02:44:13 And here's the answer. And then we had some. What is it called? Kmart? God damn it. I've got the name of the Korean grocery. I think it's Kmart. The K stands for Korean.
Starting point is 02:44:30 This week's winner. can hold their head high. Keep a chin up too. I'm currently your host, Simon. Remember that buzz driving is drunk driving. Good. Bye. Bye, Simon. Thanks for stopping by, buddy. That was opi at the end, right? Yeah. Because it almost sounded like it was Bill Burr. They do a very similar cadences. Yeah, they do. So I got confused for a minute there. Three-way tie with Carl, Adam and Annie. Fuck! Could have had a perfect score
Starting point is 02:45:01 and it's never going to happen. Aw. It's not a bad three way. At least you tried. Retro Orion. I know millionaire holding back a few grand from a broke waiter is criminal.
Starting point is 02:45:12 Opie is a piece, a known millionaire. Why am I reading that? Someone else read this? A known millionaire holding back a few grand from a broke waiter is criminal Opie is a piece of shit.
Starting point is 02:45:25 I think that's true. I think he is controlling the Venmo. Yeah. Soccer night in Detroit. Annie and Megan, will we see you in Royal Oak? I don't know. Oh, I'm waiting for the invite. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 02:45:41 It's a mystery currently, it turns out. All right. Well, more to come on that front then. Megan sells tickets. Making sells tickets. That is true. Stay tuned for that. We're going to get to some reviews and, obviously, comments from Spotify, voicemails.
Starting point is 02:46:00 Before we do that. Adam, what do you plug in today? Are you a part of any TV shows or anything? We should be watching. Anything on PBS? Yeah. It's like coming down on BBC. Yes, you can catch a BBC on Flowcast or right here for free on YouTube.
Starting point is 02:46:15 But there's a folk singer-songwriter I work with named Dan Byrne. I've produced a bunch of records for him. You might know him as the songwriter of a lot of those songs from Walk Hard, the Dewey Cox story. Okay. Especially that Bob Dylan one. He writes a lot of songs like that. We tour together a lot and we're doing a gig in Highland, California on August 24th, opening up for Roger Daltrey.
Starting point is 02:46:37 Wow. No shit. That's awesome. Yeah. So please come on by. Excellent. Say hi. All right.
Starting point is 02:46:42 Send me a link for the tickets I can put in the description. I will. Tonight. Very cool. Since you mentioned that, if you're in the western New York area, the ice stilts performing at Skylark on August 1st. Yeah. Swing by. Producer Chris and I are in that band.
Starting point is 02:46:58 and Lucy Typebox and other people who aren't as important but whatever they're there too they play their roles I guess I don't know I will see
Starting point is 02:47:08 juries out Annie what are you that going on I'm going to be streaming something I don't know what on Friday night at 9 p.m.
Starting point is 02:47:18 Eastern so come by my channel check it out I'll probably be streaming a game so like to see you there what's your channel at Insanity I N-S-A-N-E It,
Starting point is 02:47:28 I'd say mention theisotopes.com for more information about anything isotopes that we have coming up. Megan, anything, you want to promote your only fans or?
Starting point is 02:47:40 No. I'm good. You know, I'm trying to get you some side gigs over here. You've been checking out our Spotify comments. Anything new
Starting point is 02:47:49 that caught your eye? There certainly are from episode 744. Backdoor Benji says I'll send you his other two specials when I'm done moving, Carl, if I watch the shit someone else has to. Cheers. Thank you.
Starting point is 02:48:07 Backdoor Benji, of course, sent us the Artie Fletcher Live, no shame. And I brought this up on Point-Dabble Point with Mike Morris, and he goes, oh, there's other specials. That's interesting. Yeah. So thank you, Backdoor Benji. We're looking forward to that. Is Mike Morse not talking about Artie?
Starting point is 02:48:22 Is that what's happening? Oh, they talk about Artie. Mike Morris developed a game similar to our games, not saying that they ripped us off or anything. Okay, good. But Mike Morris has developed a game where he gives the setup and gets to guess what the punchline is and they give you multiple choice. And he's sharing his stories of his time with him, right?
Starting point is 02:48:36 He has been, yes. Okay, great. Not so silent Mike. He's got some shit to say when it comes to Artie Flutcher. Let me know if you start selling candy. If they do, I'm suing because the only candy that matters. What else you got there, Megan? I have Rye Fry saying,
Starting point is 02:48:53 Opie might be talking about Kill Tony because a former ONA guest, Martin Malloy, got a golden ticket recently. Oh, wow. That would be it. Oh, is that what's going on? Has to be. So it's a jealousy thing? That checks out.
Starting point is 02:49:08 That checks out. I invented that. What was the comic's name? Martin Malloy. All right. What else you got? From episode 745, Pocky says Charzard is the final form of evolution. Andy, you nerd.
Starting point is 02:49:28 fucking Pokemon commenting on the Pokemon Megan did you follow the Pokemon when I was a kid yeah when I was a kid I liked Pokemon like everyone else but I don't watch it Annie are you a Pokemon
Starting point is 02:49:43 follower yes unfortunately I knew you were as did your question I want to see you like to do did you understand Andy's analogy that's the question yes unfortunately
Starting point is 02:49:55 Aaron Andy you win this round Who else you got, Megan? From Tafit, I used to find Jerry Banfield boring, but ever since he stopped taking his lithium, it's been a joy to watch his slow motion train wreck. I've got this. Oh, keep going.
Starting point is 02:50:17 And then Megan on a scale from 1 to 10, how much does Jerry's smooth-talking romance make you want to leave your husband for him? you want to answer the question I'm going to have to go gay on that I get a lot of people saying Jerry is awful I skip the Jerry segments but I'm seeing a shift
Starting point is 02:50:40 yeah there's a spike yeah more of our people are getting into Jerry Badfield E is a ridiculous character so I'm glad people are on board and any new reviews that we've gotten on Apple Podcasts or anywhere else yes one on Apple and one over I believe on CastBox
Starting point is 02:50:56 Coming in from Dryvan, the ultimate liberal gathering, metrosexuals, drunks, sex workers, handicapped, homosexuals, trans, and more. Dgenerates abound from host to guests to topics is the top of the DMC, DNC, Mountain. I think it's pretty good description of us. I might update what's written on the website because we have had the same description out there for 10 years. That makes more sense. Is that a five star? Five stars.
Starting point is 02:51:27 Nice. Appreciate that. Jerry Johnson, PhD, says, Truly Terrible. A self-indulgent hosts, repetitive bits, and unprofessionalism often leave it to the show's guest
Starting point is 02:51:39 and producer to pick up to pieces. You stupid fucking blabble mouth cut! Don't forget drops. I also utilize drops. Is that a one-star review? No, no, no. They mean it. But they like the show.
Starting point is 02:51:53 Okay, thanks. The five stars. Thank you for the five stars. We do appreciate that. Strap in, we got some voice bells. But it's good. A lot of feedback going on to the show right now. A lot of interesting takes going on.
Starting point is 02:52:04 It's a bunch of crap. Swing in a minute. Rock and rolla. The Arborist calling in. What about Carl, it's Arborist. Listen to the Wednesday show with Adam Bush. At the steel toe segment, which I normally skip through, because you're right, he's gay. I hate him.
Starting point is 02:52:25 Is it gay? What a shitty game. Anyways, you should get in bed with Carmic, not literally, but getting Cahoots with Carmic, have Carmit go on steel toe, and then just feed him all the talking points. Kind of like what happened with Chad Zumach and John, right? I think that'd be a funny bit. Okay. Be like a shadow puppet, you know, for a drunk. but okay, bye.
Starting point is 02:52:58 I don't know we can go along with that. Doesn't seem to be a team player. Or have a sense of humor anyway. Yeah, but it's a good idea. It's a funny idea. He called back with this. Hey, Carl, it's Arborist again. A quick one.
Starting point is 02:53:10 Don't make it sound like a chore for us to go watch Drew Lane. We should want to do that, right? All right. Fuck you. Bye. Hi, Chris. That is true. I listen to every episode of the Drew Lane show.
Starting point is 02:53:20 You should, too. Love those guys. We're going to hang with them in Detroit once again, October 2, W2B Live.com. for your tickets. Oh, I had an idea. So we've gotten some conversation going with what's a great cover song
Starting point is 02:53:36 better than the original song. Some people have been very passionate about it and had some ideas. We came with an idea before the show started, Chris. I had you right down. Hot girls that became disasters. Yes. Okay, we were talking about Charles in Charge
Starting point is 02:53:49 and Nicole Eggert. Yeah. We're like, wow, this is a girl that if you would have told me in 1989, you can marry this woman to spend the rest of your life there. I'd like, holy fuck, that's awesome. And then to see what happened, I'd like, well, that sucked. That's like the lottery winner becomes like even more destitute afterwards.
Starting point is 02:54:05 Like he had too much fun. Yeah. So any other examples of that? Pam Anderson was the first one I thought of after Nicole Aghert. I got one, but I hate this game. What do you got at him? I have one too. When I was a kid, I thought Tiffany was really pretty.
Starting point is 02:54:22 Oh, the singer Tiffany. I think we're alone. Yeah, she was hot. I thought she was hot. She was hot. All right. I've seen, yeah,
Starting point is 02:54:29 I see what you're talking about. What do you got, Megan? You know, the wrestler Sunny? Mm, yes. Yes.
Starting point is 02:54:37 Yeah. She's become, I think she's in jail. She's a train wreck. Yeah. That's pretty good. What about the woman who played Lisa Turtle? Lark Vorhees?
Starting point is 02:54:47 What happened to that woman? She was really cute. What's that? She's doing great. She had a tough time on that show and took a step back, but she's, uh, she's,
Starting point is 02:54:56 I'm doing it out right now. Okay. Yeah. That's as far as I can tell. All right. Well, that's a little topic of your conversation. Looking forward to that. Kyle photographer likes to weigh in on things.
Starting point is 02:55:04 It's been a little while. He's back. Carl, it's a cat photographer. And, uh, you know, I've missed you. And the algorithm, my YouTube algorithm knows I've missed you to the point where it showed me Gary Vanfield from yesterday and July 17. I cried walking home from our date.
Starting point is 02:55:23 Yes. Carl, you make this guy. seem a lot. I've never seen him outside of your clips, and now I've watched an entire video of him talking about a date, and what do you make this guy seem more sane than he is? Listening to him talk is actually like listening to Chris Chan talk about dating, except Chris Chan's like obviously invisibly autistic, and Jerry Bamfield is just like a four-year-old guy that looks pretty normal and healthy, and minus the complete soul of this lack of soul behind his eyes.
Starting point is 02:56:01 There's nothing about psychosis there. But sorry for going over 45 seconds. This just really blew my mind. I love to me, I guess. Fucking Banfield. Go fuck yourself. See, Jerry Banfield's so important to even calvatographer. It's back calling the show to talk about it.
Starting point is 02:56:20 If you catch Jerry in the wild, it's exactly what you think it is. Today was the first day I pulled clips Every other time I'm just like we'll just watch this episode I'll just watch this episode Right Everything's crazy This guy's from Sweden Tim
Starting point is 02:56:35 Hello Carl My name is Tim I'm actually calling from Sweden I've been listening to you And your podcast Since the first time you were Officially Guesting on the Dick show
Starting point is 02:56:51 And I wanted to say that I really love all the content. I'm a Patreon on both your podcast and the Apology podcast and the Blind Mic Show and all of that. Thank you. But I just want to say that your podcast name is who are these podcasts. I remember. And I feel that for the last, well, I don't want to say months, but a long, long while, you've been focusing a lot on just stuttering John and steel toe and Kevin Brennan. And, you know, I mean, that stuff is all fun and stuff. But, you know, I think you should probably try and go back to the basics since, you know.
Starting point is 02:57:39 All right, all right. We'll get more into Kyle Mooney and Kathy Griffin and the other shows that we do. I know. I know. And just for you, Sweden, we're going to cut down on our John content by like 80%.
Starting point is 02:57:51 Yeah, there's almost no John guy anymore. You were right about that. That's a good point. Hey, Carl, for the voicemailer on the last episode that was love bombing,
Starting point is 02:58:02 y'all. I get a lot of nice things to say. But one thing that really rub me the wrong way, how the fuck do you know that Carl's dad is in heaven? What the fuck? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's not.
Starting point is 02:58:12 I'm pretty convinced of that, but I wasn't going to correct him on it. I'm really glad he said that. Hey, Carl, I was a show behind, so I don't know if you mentioned it. But the tickets for Detroit, October 2nd, are for sale. Last year, they went on sale before you mentioned it, so I didn't know. And plus, I just fast forward every time you're talking during the show. So I'm glad I checked, because after I bought my VIP tickets, it said there were 10 left.
Starting point is 02:58:41 Five years in Detroit, five years, me and my buddy, kids was gone. One year, we didn't get VIP. We looked like fucking losers. if you're listening to this and he want to go and get your VIP ticket you're going to look like a fucking loser or you'll be cool like producer Chris and you're going to look like I don't know
Starting point is 02:58:58 truck or Andy oh wow yikes well bad news if you didn't get your VIP tickets they are sold out but we'll be hanging out the night before Thursday night before the show we'll be at the rock and bruise so you can come hang with us then
Starting point is 02:59:15 you just don't get a poster free drinks but hey you missed the boat you missed the VIP window sold out quick Nate in Flint Michigan calling in Holy shit does Jerry Banteld have any dignity at all No I don't have women figured out this is Nate from Flint Michigan by the way I don't have women figured out but I know that they're not turned on by men who go on the internet and talk like women
Starting point is 02:59:39 I'm of your finest work Carl Chris and Andy fell into my lap sir but thank you very much much, Nate. I do love Jerry and the story arc do we have going right now. Shitting on limp biscuit and gougoodles, I shan't be giving
Starting point is 02:59:57 Ron any more of my money. Not that I ever did. Okay, well, rather than careful, who's making fun of around there, I guess. Very clever, Carl. Yeah, let's review a podcast where one of the guys is talking about drinking diarrhea because
Starting point is 03:00:11 his doctor says it'll give him vitamins or something. You can't fool me, hamburger, trying to fucking normalize your Poop eating. Okay. That wasn't the point of it, but if that is a side of fact, I'm fine with it. We talked about people covering the Beatles, and I put out that bold statement that none of the songs covering the Beatles are as good as the Beatles originals. Hey, Carl.
Starting point is 03:00:35 Yeah, thanks for bashing Joe Cocker, that Twitchy fuck, just overwhelmed by the soul of the other people's songs. he was singing. Fucking, that guy shuddered more than the Back to the Future kid. You never saw Ozzy pulling
Starting point is 03:00:52 those kind of theatrics or Lane Staley or Chris Cornell. No, just stand there and just sing it. Fucking piss up
Starting point is 03:01:00 a rope, Joe Cocker. All right, carry on. Well, said. I feel the same way about Joe Cocker.
Starting point is 03:01:06 Calm down over there, buddy. Indeed. Ozzy Osbourne wasn't into theatrics. I mentioned
Starting point is 03:01:15 I saw Vito in the chat earlier, Vito Giswaldi, from Biggest Problem in the Universe, for another week or two. Anyway, I mentioned on the show that Vito teared up when he raised $30,000 for his comic book. I was wrong about that. If this was just a reminder, Vito didn't raise $30,000 from his comic. He raised over $100,000 from the comic, and it's still not out yet. All right, thanks. It's over $100,000, yes. 37K to Daddy.
Starting point is 03:01:45 I did not miss the Wien reference, piss up a rope. I just didn't acknowledge it, but anyone who knows knows, Jerry Banfield rules. Hey, Carl, as a pre-dabbleverse WATP listener, I just want to say,
Starting point is 03:01:58 I'm loving the Jerry Banfield coverage, keep it up, and bits and pieces to you. Bits and pieces to you, my friend. Bits and pieces to all of us. All right, we're talking about the Pokemon reference, Andy made. I was jerking off at work.
Starting point is 03:02:16 Listening to Andy explain how Chad's like a Pokemon and a came. I mean, I understood. Fuck. All right. You got to finish sometime, right? Sometimes it's at the weird part
Starting point is 03:02:31 of the video here watching. Mom, get out of here. It's not why. Anyway, about the point. Was it on purpose? I don't know. That's everything. A lot of questions for that one.
Starting point is 03:02:44 I think this is Tab Burt calling it. It sounds like Tab's voice. Jerry Banyl's handkerchief soaking wet. That girl's panties never possibly been drier. And the funniest part is in like a year's time, she's going to be with some friends. They're going to be like, hey, hey, show everyone in that video of that guy who fell in love with you after one day and then like cried into his handkerchief. They're all going to gather around her phone and laugh and laugh and laugh watching the clip of WATP. What a fucking loser?
Starting point is 03:03:14 Smooches. That does sound like that. I would imagine that's true. Yeah. This girl's going to hang out with her girlfriend. I don't know if it's going to be the WATP episode, but find that Jerry episode. We're talking about crying into his yoga mat and handkerchief and there's a couple of those
Starting point is 03:03:32 viral ones of guys leaving messages after our first day or sending a video and people love those. He's ripe for that. It's fantastic. Even Jesus will be there. There are a bunch of Jerry Banfield calls. People are loving them, so I'm not going to play all of them. But thank you guys for the feedback. I appreciate it.
Starting point is 03:03:51 This guy is mentally ill. Hello. Mentally ill fan calling in. After that recent Jerry Vanfield clip, oh, man, I feel so much, so much better about myself. I actually feel quite sane. It's pretty nice. I have never, never seen anyone emotionally unstable.
Starting point is 03:04:08 Holy shit. All right. Even the mentally ill are going to be. this. This guy's too far gone for me. I appreciate that. He's helping people like Stutcho with his drinking. I think we're helping sims with this.
Starting point is 03:04:23 Like, yeah, yeah, you don't know about him, this girl. Be cool about it. I've been going about everything the wrong way. All right. Let's get back to the conversation about cover songs, better than the originals. Okay, covers better than the original. I didn't hear anybody mention taking to the river, talking heads or Devo's version of satisfaction.
Starting point is 03:04:46 Two very good ones. Did we say Jet Airliner? Did I mention that? Steve Miller band? I didn't know that was a cover song. Okay. You go back to listen to the original. Sucks.
Starting point is 03:04:56 Jet Airwiner with Steve Miller band. Great track. What's the original? I didn't know that. Yeah. Check it out. I don't know who the artist is. It's not known what I've heard of.
Starting point is 03:05:03 Take me to the river. It can go fuck itself. Yeah, you're not a fan. But the other day at work out of the blue, I'm like, why didn't I say satisfaction? Devo. Okay. I wanted to talk about that.
Starting point is 03:05:13 I think satisfaction by Devo is quirky and interesting and a cool take on a song. It's not better than the original, right? We can all agree on that. Oh, the original is so boring. Yeah, it is. It is better. But it's not their fault. It's boring.
Starting point is 03:05:26 It's boring because we've heard it so much. It just, it has like a visceral reaction when you hear it. It does go on for a while. That's true. It's very repetitive. It's repetitive. But can you really dance to Devo's version of it?
Starting point is 03:05:39 What are you in? You want to go dancing? What time? Since when? It's 5-4. Oh. Everybody loves that. But there's one that I know of that I think might be, and that's Frankie goes to Hollywood's version of Born to Run.
Starting point is 03:05:59 Huh? Check it out. I will. It's awesome. I believe Trevor Horn from the Buggles plays the bass solo in it. Okay. Pretty fucking awesome. Love the show.
Starting point is 03:06:10 See you. Sue! I had no idea that existed. Frankie Hollywood has another song. Frank he goes to Hollywood? That's cool. I'll check that out. Boner guy. This sounds like shit. He emails me, his voicemails out because he's like in Africa. I don't even know where a boner guy is in the world, but somewhere far away.
Starting point is 03:06:29 But it still sounds like shit. Carl, love you. Love the show. Loved your bonus episode of Living in the Past with Suttering John. Thank you. What is he on about with that hemorrhoid talk? That is not a human. body that he has there. And I also
Starting point is 03:06:42 love the latest episode with the Jerry Banfield segment and his bitchery having come home from the date. Although I could sympathize slightly because I have needed the occasional hanky after a date but I've never filled it with tears. It's been with cum.
Starting point is 03:06:59 Thank you. My dick. Because he's a polar guy. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We get it. That makes sense. I have this one that I kept, I was, I could have played it on Saturday's episode, but it's talking to Adam, so I felt like I should play it here. Hey, since we're on the Adam Bush, I do want to point out, I want to jump on this, I'll point out that, uh, you don't read it. I love you, Adam Bush. I love it when you call out Carl on this
Starting point is 03:07:25 stupid sex joke for you. What's the difference between an Italian and a Jew? One of them knows how to use the oven correctly. Bits and pieces. Bits and pieces. I see what you did there. Adam's getting hit with a lot of anti-Semitism today, a lot of shrapnel. Why was that joke for me? I mean, anti-Scientologyism. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 03:07:57 Is what I meant to say. So there's a thread on the subreddit. Oh. And maybe I went too far with this. I don't know. I was reading it. It was a big thread. It was very funny.
Starting point is 03:08:07 I mentioned that it's possible Donald Trump doesn't talk about the fact that Rosie O'Donnell takes over for Jimmy Kimmel. And I get the. Griffin is just like, oh, this is going to piss it off so much. He's going to be so upset about this. I'm like, well, he's kind of busy. He's got a lot of stuff going on. Which, um, I apparently, that was like the craziest farthest right wing thing you could say.
Starting point is 03:08:28 And I have a giant Trump supporter for saying that. I didn't say he was doing a good job. No. I didn't say. All I said was, there's kind of more important things going on. He might not address it. But I guess that was the dumbest thing I could say. The first part of what you're saying is true.
Starting point is 03:08:40 There are definitely more important things, but he's made it very clear. This is the only kind of thing he cares about. He has certainly commented on ridiculous, obnoxious. It's all he's really interested in is this shit. The stuff you're hoping he's doing, he doesn't seem. He had a whole speech about voter fraud that none of the networks aired on Saturday, but it was all incorrect. And Trump's an idiot. He has no idea what he's talking about.
Starting point is 03:09:02 Whoa. There, I won everyone over. Adams, what to correct me? Well, it was when you had made that comment that that day he had held a press conference to announce that he was number one on TikTok. Right. Wait, are you talking about Kevin Brennan? Donald Trump. Same one.
Starting point is 03:09:18 I do it. I got to go. Bye. I got to go. I got to go. I got to go. Okay, bye. Are we done here?
Starting point is 03:09:34 I think we are. Okay, folks. Guess what? The episode's over. I don't know. Who gives a shit? Why am I still doing this? I'm out of here.
Starting point is 03:09:44 Bye. A plane has hit. I rewatched Carly. Boom. His mom. Boom. Go fuck yourselves. Have a good week.
Starting point is 03:09:59 All right, everybody. You know, this was a great podcast. It was very revealing. Okay, bye. Jok it on my own weight here.
