I'll, this is meant to be coming out the day after cheerful. Oh, right. So maybe I'll switch it around. Pug cheerful. Oh, so this comes out before cheerful, you mean? Yeah. Oh, okay. To buy tickets to either come and be there in the audience
Starting point is 00:01:33 Or stream it live anywhere in the world Yeah, it's exciting This show is going to be on as well and a bunch of other great shows. Greg Larson's on there. Yep, yep. A rational fear, Dan Elich. It's just going to be really fun. Got the Bodricki Bar.
Starting point is 00:01:45 Yeah, we sort of set up a beer garden in the car park. We put out AstroTurf and benches and set up a bar and everything. It's a really cool vibe. So you should, and we'll have like food vans. There'll be all sorts of stuff. So you could just come down. It is October 23rd to the 25th. And Game of Game is the last show, the 25th just after Josh Ells,

Starting point is 00:02:14 It'll be a great day. So it's worth, I reckon if you're coming down for one, you should come down for a couple and have a drink and some food in between. Pumped. All right, let's get into the show proper. Here we go.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Welcome to Who New with Matt Stewart, the show where the guests are right the wrong answers. I'm the titular Matt Stewart. Now, first guest this week. In fact, all three of our guests this week are from the Sands Pants Radio Network. we got Jackson Bailey Oh yeah
Starting point is 00:02:45 Oh yeah We got Joel Dusha Oh yeah And we've got Adam Kanavalet Oh yeah We're all playing to win today Matt Yeah We've got up with a good attitude
Starting point is 00:02:58 Yeah Better step up to the plate With the questions Yeah Okay well yeah I mean I I mean I do try to In some ways
Starting point is 00:03:05 Like get the questions To fit the guests Okay That's bad news for us Yeah You're setting it's up to fail I go for some Um, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:15 Expect a lot of questions about dog penises, I guess. Yeah. Well, uh, fart com. Oh, if that means anything. Yeah. That was a clip that went out of you. Yeah. Fartcom, we basically coined that.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Yeah, exactly. Do we know a little bit about it? Do we know a fart com? Yeah. Does Einstein know about MC, M.C. M.C. What's a G? It's a good question.
Starting point is 00:03:41 That's a great question. Does he? Yeah. Yeah. Yes, he does. Yes, he goddamn does. So, yeah, so it's something to look forward to. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Anyway, this is how the show works for listeners who aren't familiar. I ask a relatively obscure trivia question. Our contestants have to write a convincing fake answer. I then read their answers as well as the real one. I have to guess which one is correct. And the first question comes from listener, Pat Ron, from Melbourne. Hey, first of all, shout out to Pat Ron. Great name.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Good name. Two, two. First names as your full name. Both of them one syllable? Patron. Patrick Ronald. Whoa. Patricia Ronald.
Starting point is 00:04:20 And also that's like patron. Patron. Oh my God. You know what? That's maybe what they've done there. Oh, because they are a patron. Damn. It's good to be dumb as that.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I don't know. I don't like it when they go in Cognito. They're tricking you. I don't like that either. I might get rid. I might, look, skip that question. Skip that question. Skip that question.
Starting point is 00:04:42 I'll let them get away with it this time. I generally did not notice that. Middle name E. Pat's question is, what does the word Barthometry mean? What does the word barthometry mean? Care. And while they're writing their answers, I'll explain how the scoring works.
Starting point is 00:05:00 You get one point if your fake answer is guessed by the other contest, and another point if you correctly guess the answer. And by the way, I'm also playing as the house. And I've put it in two of my own fake answers for each question. With that, that was a question writer. And we get a point for each one of those that I guess choose. each of us can score up to three points per round, which seems fair.
Starting point is 00:05:17 But apparently, according to a mathematician, probably actually favours me, the house. So to make up for that, the guests get triple points in the final round. Well, the house does not, and that probably swings it the other way, to be honest. Most of our questions, by the way,
Starting point is 00:05:32 come from our great Patreon supporters, like Patron. And if you want to submit a question, sign up on any level by Patrion.com slash 2G1Pod, blinked in the show notes. Man, he's got my head, Pat. Yeah, he's freaking you out.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Yeah, you thought you were playing against us as the house. But you're actually playing against, it's, it's, it's, it's the house versus everybody. Yeah. Matt, coming from inside the house. Yeah. Oh, and by the way, occasionally people, I, I, I, I'm at a live show,
Starting point is 00:05:59 something, someone will say to me, hey, you never use any of my questions. Right, better questions. Yeah. Be funny on. Hang on. That is, that is not the official response. The official response is, there's a lot of questions. I don't even see them.
Starting point is 00:06:11 Feel free to DM me. on Patreon and I'll get them into the game. Provided that they're good. Yeah, they better be interesting, at least funny. I think you use your real name. Yeah, exactly. And if you follow all of these steps and it still doesn't get read out, Matt read your question and said, this one sucks.
Starting point is 00:06:30 Yeah, if all of those steps. If those metrics are mad. But I would say more likely, even if the question is not that good, we'll figure it out together. The answers are in for question number one. What does the word bathymetry mean? Here are your options. The study of underwater distances.
Starting point is 00:06:51 A collection of bathing equipment such as soap clothes, towels. Option three. An archaic scientific word for the displacement of water is first discovered by Archimedes in his bath. It refers to mapping things that are underwater by measuring the depth of various ocean or lake floor features like underwater mountains and valleys. There's a lot of juice in these questions. Yeah, let that one. It's very wet.
Starting point is 00:07:18 People are putting a lot of sauce on their areas. The pseudoscience of healing different maladies through diving underwater or the flow state achieved by people taking a long bath. The idea is the basis of isolation tanks. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Jackson. All right. They're all very wet. They're all very wet. They're all very wet. Everyone's taken bath and run with it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, absolutely. But that also means they're all wet, which means that we should have.
Starting point is 00:07:44 Yes. Yeah, you're not correct to. Yeah. The Archim, I don't think there were bards in ancient Greece. What are you saying? They're famous for their shit like that. Yeah, but not personal bars. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:57 What's the difference? Well, one, you're bathing with the fellas. Yeah. And I think if you're bathing with the fellas, you don't have to live in the dream. Yeah, dude. At the risk of giving you clues, this tale of Archimedes, um, overflowing a bath and discovering. It's famous.
Starting point is 00:08:15 It's a famous tale. Can I lock that one in, please, ma' Yeah, but maybe Adam's double bluffing you. If it's so famous, why didn't you know of it? I think I'm going to pick that one, though. That is awesome. Yeah. I don't, and no disrespect to you, Adam.
Starting point is 00:08:33 But I don't think that's how you play the game. You're too fair a sportsman to try the double bluff. I am on quite a losing streak. Yeah. All right, douche, what do you think? Can I look in the same one, please? Okay. So funny, dude, just get out of his,
Starting point is 00:08:48 Adam, a historic lead. It would be, I think if that was gameplay, I'd be well worthy of points. Nope, gone. What, he's not picking it, he's picking a different one. Yeah, go. We've been scammed.
Starting point is 00:08:59 What's the last one again? Last one was the one about isolation tanks. I'm gonna pick that one, please. God, yeah, looked in. Did he just trick us into picking his hands? Did he just play us like a goddamn fiddle, dude? I truly don't. No.
Starting point is 00:09:12 Best lies have a bit of truth in him. Isn't that what they say? Yeah. All right. The answer. Study of underwater distances. That was Jackson Bailey. Hey, good answer, brother.
Starting point is 00:09:20 Thank you, man. Appreciate that. If it was better, maybe someone was sort of picked it, but it was still pretty good. The pseudoscience of healing different maladies through diving underwater, that was Adam Carnival-A. Okay. Foof. We didn't fall into his...
Starting point is 00:09:32 Or he's tricked us in some other way. He submitted two answers. A collection of bathing equipment, such as soap, clothes and towels that was douche. Sure. Soap is not a bathing equipment. And also, well, actually, clothes I misspelled. It was meant to be cloths, but I realized I threw an E in there.
Starting point is 00:09:49 I would make more sense. To make the claim that soap isn't a bathing equipment. Oh wow, I suppose. You ain't a bathing like swimming? That's what I always say. Like at the pool, you know. The man whose towel I can smell from a room away, yeah, you don't use soap.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Meanwhile, Adam Carnivalay is there at the local pool. Holding up a lap lane, soap under the pits. Oh, I'm dizzy. Soaping up in a public pool would be a power that... Oh, dude. I wouldn't know what to do with them. I reckon you could get... Do you reckon you could get clean before they kicked you out?
Starting point is 00:10:24 I once had a full bath or shower, whatever you want to call it. I did like... Well, it depends on what it is. While water skiing. What? As a fun gag, I did. You've been water skiing? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Why is that the video that's throwing you? Think about water skiing. Now think about Adam. I don't think it was his choice. He's doing bits. He's doing bits whilst water ski? I think he was like if I'm gonna have to water ski, I'll entertain myself.
Starting point is 00:10:50 I used to do that and then I would also like hold the thing. He took full button balls and asshole and stuff you're watching too? No, he would have done hair and pits and bits. Oh no, we've just been hair and pits. I think I did everything except my swimsuit area, shall we say. Yeah, let's. I would do that and I would do big, because it was my uncle who was driving the boat. I'd do big like yorns like,
Starting point is 00:11:10 this is boring and then he'd whip me around trying to throw me off. Damn, your uncle sounds cool. How is that a normal story for you? Because he didn't want to go water skiing. But still, he was at the lake with his family and they said, Adam, get in the back of the boat. Something like that. We also had a one of the other families who'd bring a jet ski.
Starting point is 00:11:31 And sometimes for hours on end, I'd just go on on the jet ski because then I wouldn't have to deal with my family. Exactly. Jet ski makes sense. Water skiing's crazy. Yeah, I suppose. Okay, so. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:11:43 Adam went for the flow state after being in a long bath. I'm afraid that was the house. Yeah. So that leaves just two options. I hope you got it. Archimedes in the bath. Uh-oh. Uh-oh.
Starting point is 00:11:59 Or mapping something underwater. Come on, Matt. So Jackson and Joel, Dusha, went for. Thanks for Claritius. in the bar. No one went for mapping things underwater. All right.
Starting point is 00:12:15 Yeah. Jolin. Jackson. Yeah. Jol Dusha, yeah. It could be suspenseful. Went for the one written by Pat Ron,
Starting point is 00:12:26 I'm afraid. The correct answer was referring to mapping things that are underwater. Jackson, your fake answer was basically the real answer. Did you know it? Well, I, when I saw that,
Starting point is 00:12:37 I'm like, well, he knows the real answer. But then he went to. You know for a different one. Well, Adam tricked me. Well, I was like, Bath or Bath is underwater. Like a bath sphere is like an underwater vehicle. And Tometri is like the measuring of things.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Yeah, you were. That is, I'm like, oh, he's just put the real answer in. He obviously knows it. Yeah, no, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know what happened to Matt. I don't know what happened. Adam got in my head.
Starting point is 00:13:04 He got in my head. He jet skied through your brain. He did. Patron is like, he's got us all now. And that makes him. means all three of you gave points to the house summer front. Yeah, good round for the house. So after one round,
Starting point is 00:13:15 uh, Jackson Joel and Adam yet to score, but the house sat in front on three points. Wow. I'm just thinking of people, especially people not from Australia. Yeah. They ever have the problem where they can't tell the difference between voices.
Starting point is 00:13:27 Hmm. What, what's the, just give us a, and because I introduced you as a group, I'm sure people are just struggling to hold on. Who the hell is talking over? They could be watching this on the do go on YouTube channel,
Starting point is 00:13:40 though. Yeah. And then that'll be a lot easy because you look quite different. Yeah. Yeah. Hey, thanks to notice. Thanks,
Starting point is 00:13:45 heaps, man. You've been working on it. Yeah. Do you think it helped that when you introduced us, we all just said, oh yeah. Not really in our real voice in this too.
Starting point is 00:13:54 Hi, I'm Joel Dusha. I'm Jackson Bailey. And I'm Adam Conavale. And we are your contestants today on who knew it with Matt Stewart. Question two comes from Elliot C.M. From England. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:10 And Elliot just wants you to come up with a species of bird. It's kind of bird. Don't have to describe it or anything, just the name of a kind of bird. You know, something like, oh, you're already writing. You don't need any of the actual. I know birds, Matt. Sometimes people need an extra help.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Fair enough. While you're writing your answers, here's some more info on barthometry. Pat writes, we know more about the surface of Mars than the ocean floor. Only 23% of which has been scanned in detail. Also, Google ASV DRIX to see some cute photos of an autonomous surface vessel used for mapping the C4. That sounds like an audio version of a fishing scam. I'm always like, what am I clicking on here? Somebody just on the bus, click.
Starting point is 00:15:04 And then someone's got there. Yeah, absolutely. And then you're on your way to a, you're on your way. to a, you're on your way to a, a, a bathhouse in Myanmar. Measuring things. Yeah. Yeah. All right, the answers are in for question number two.
Starting point is 00:15:21 Which of these are real species of bird? Jealous lover bird. Okay. David's human, humid Robin, not human. Human Robin. It would be amazing. Oh, the human bird. David's humid Robin.
Starting point is 00:15:37 Winged eyeliner. Big titted blue. half-crested titmouse, screaming cowbird or hesitant cuckold. Oh, okay. Dusher, it's up to you. Jealous lover bird. David's humid Robin. Wingedilana, big-titted blue half-crested titmouse, screaming cowbird or hesitant cuckold.
Starting point is 00:15:58 There is a, yeah, it's interesting because there's no clear divide of which three were our answers. Sometimes it's easy to pick in this one, not so. Because all of these makes sense to be like, I'm going to send this question. to Matt because there's a bird called the cock hold or the big titted titmouse. Titmouse is a type of bird. I'm gonna tell you now and I'm gonna help you out of you.
Starting point is 00:16:20 No, it's not. It's a kind of mouse. I like this episode of us helping each other. I'm gonna make fair to that. No, I think it's actually a type of bird. No, that's why they get called a chair. Joel, what you're thinking of, there is a TV show where at the end,
Starting point is 00:16:38 they say titmouse and they say titmouse And there's a blue bird. There's a kind of bird called a tit. It would be called a tit. A mouse is a production house. A mouse is a kind of mouse. Well, that's clearly not my answer because I would have known that otherwise. True.
Starting point is 00:16:51 Very good point. Can I just look in? What's a... I mean, a bird's not going to be a cock-hulled, because a cock-holt doesn't mean anything else. Jealous lover does sound like the type of bird. winged eyeliner I'm gonna look in jealous lover
Starting point is 00:17:14 okay jealous lover hey write what you know yeah I didn't write it so I didn't did I just tell it myself the house is hoping so
Starting point is 00:17:28 Adam what do you reckon can you give me the fullest again quickly jealous lover bird David's humid Robin winged eyeliner big titted blue half-crested titmouse, screaming cowbird, hesitant cuckold. I, I had a, I had a decent joke.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Yeah. But instead of that, I'm gonna go with what I think is the best option. Yeah, I'm gonna go with the cuckold, please. Cuckold, locked in. The hesitant cuckold. Yeah. Just like me. Rawa, you know.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Pick what you know. Oh no, I've done it again. Oh, no. It would be really funny if the house's answers both written by Matt, ungealous, Love on, and hesitant cuggled. Matt, are you okay?
Starting point is 00:18:16 Oh, God. There's something going on, man. All right. Jackson, that just leave you. Well, hesitant cuckold almost makes sense because it cuckold,
Starting point is 00:18:24 like, and cuckoo. But I don't think, I don't think you would call the boat. I'm going to go for the screaming cow bird because I feel like I've hood that as a kind of bird at some point in my life. I forgot about that one.
Starting point is 00:18:36 That is probably the most. obvious correct answer. It's a pretty awesome mental image too. Screaming cow. And it's a bird. Yeah, it's pretty. That's good. That's really good.
Starting point is 00:18:48 All right. Here's the right. The answers. Winged eyeliner. Was Adam Kahn de Valet? Okay. Okay. Which is, is that what?
Starting point is 00:18:56 That's what you call when you, Amy Winehouse sort of thing. Yeah. That's good stuff. Thank you. Yeah. It's good stuff. No one picked it, but God, it was clever.
Starting point is 00:19:04 I, yeah. Well, if it had been clever, or someone would have picked me. Well, no one picked it and no one laughed, but it was clever. No one picked it, no one laughed, but damn, it was a good answer. David's humoured Robin, that was Jackson.
Starting point is 00:19:20 Yeah. I was gonna get wet Robin, but then I was like, that's too obviously a joke. If I'd gone with a joke, that's the one I would have picked. Uh, well. Hey.
Starting point is 00:19:29 Uh, now, what else have we got? Big titted blue half-crested titmouse. It was Joel Dusha. I've looked it up. Tipmouse is a bird. A titmouse is a bird. It's a bird. Bravo, bravo.
Starting point is 00:19:42 And it's a pretty little, look, is it a blue bird? Look at that. What? What a beautiful bird. I don't like the way that bird's looking back over its shoulder. Yeah, because you denied its existence. God damn.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Don't doubt me again and wreck my game. That's so funny. You said it so confidently I believed it, which was so funny to me in itself, but maybe even funny that you were wrong. It doesn't help me I don't get any points It does say it feels like it should be a mouse
Starting point is 00:20:14 Well it's got a mouse in the name It's not a bird All right Dush went for jealous lover bird That was the house I did write what I knew And then I told it on myself Adam went for hesitant cuckold
Starting point is 00:20:30 That was also the house But it was Elliot That was Elliot That was Elliot I thought it was just good writing That's so funny You and the audience have something in common That's nice
Starting point is 00:20:42 Yeah And that means Oh no please go on Jackson is correct There's a screaming cow bird And I haven't looked them up But the image Just a screaming cow is
Starting point is 00:20:51 I don't know Yeah it's funny It feels like a cartoon This bird looks kind of like a toucan But I don't know if that's right But when I picture it That's what I'm picturing Oh no it looks pretty crowy
Starting point is 00:21:00 Oh you know Like just a very There you go Well, not crow in color. Short beak makes it interesting. Crow in color. Crow in color. A bit ravenous.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Yeah. But magpie and salt. Yeah. But it's got like a stubby. Stubby little beak. Yeah, the beak's cool. Yeah, I agree. That's a good looking bird.
Starting point is 00:21:22 Yeah. It's a good looking bird. Good looking bird. So can we get a quick score check? Oh my God. There was another good round for the house of a man. Yeah. But at least one of the sand's pants is.
Starting point is 00:21:34 or on the board. Exactly. So the scores after two rounds. Feels good at the place. Joel Dusha yet to score. Adam Khan of Arlai yet to score. Jackson Bailey won, but way out in front of five points
Starting point is 00:21:43 at the host. Okay. Very quickly, am I allowed to swear? It's not in cars. We got to get our fucking shit together. We look like idiots right now. Damn, dude, he's right.
Starting point is 00:21:56 I think it's just representative of. No one that's a sand's pants listener or a fan of plumbing the nose door. Non-fans don't need to know that. Wait, they are that stupid. They got off the board. The dumpy one yelled at the big one that a titmouse isn't a bird, only to find out he was a bird.
Starting point is 00:22:15 But all I did was derail the game and no one won. It helped no one. And the bookish one earlier thought he was giving the other two answers. But got it wrong. Got it wrong. And then didn't pick the one he thought was true. But then he didn't pick the one he thought was true. the wrong one anyway.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Yeah, good. I'm hot. Damn. I'm all sweaty. I'm all good actually. Question. All right, let's go. Question three.
Starting point is 00:22:44 Question three, was written by Patrick Early from Bendigo. Well, beautiful place. And he just wants you to come over the name of a Thai restaurant,
Starting point is 00:22:53 but the specific one is at Helm Helm to a vet 1,700 Copenhagen, Denmark. What? Are there countries
Starting point is 00:23:03 two addresses in different ways. This one's in Copenhagen in Denmark. I've given you the specific one, just so a listener's going, actually, Adam's fake answer was a real Danish. Oh, I see what you're saying. This is just to mean, this is this one specifically.
Starting point is 00:23:21 It's in this, and also to give us a genre of funny name for restaurant. If you know a bit of Danish, I guess, while you're writing your answers, I let the audience know a bit more about these cowbirds. According to Elliot, Cowbird species of great names, such as the John Cowbird. Shiny cowbird, bronze cowbird.
Starting point is 00:23:41 They lay eggs in other birds' nests like cuckoos, cuckoos. We see where he got his inspiration. But we'll monitor the nest and destroy the host's own eggs if they push the cowbirds' eggs. I don't like the cowbirds as much anymore. Cuckoo birds are so funny. It's so funny to be like evolutionarily designed to not raise your own kids. That's awesome. In bird circles, Elliot Wrights or Burkles, this is known as the mafia hypothesis
Starting point is 00:24:09 for why some host species will knowingly raise a parasitic offspring. Okay. It's a bit of fun. All right. Answers are in for question number three. What is the name of the Thai restaurant, 1700 Copenhagen, Denmark? Carl's authentic Thai. Okay.
Starting point is 00:24:29 Tie me up. Porn sack. Greg's House of Yummy Soup and Ty Or eat a fucking pork mal Okay I have Okay
Starting point is 00:24:43 Well Adam Carnivalo is turn to go first here Can play your cards close to your chest douche You get to go last year Yeah true So what do you reckon Adam Sorry can I get the list one more time Carl's authentic tie Tie me up
Starting point is 00:24:58 Porn sack Greg's House of Yummy Soup and Tie or eat a fucking pork mal. Can I go soup and tie, I guess? Actually, I'm so sorry, can I get the spelling for soup and tie? How does everyone feel about getting spellings of these?
Starting point is 00:25:22 I'm not sure. It's too much. All right, soup and tie, soup and tie. I will limit myself. I would hazard a guess that it's T-H-A-I. Yeah. And soup would be S-O-U-P. I would imagine.
Starting point is 00:25:36 It just opens up, I wouldn't mind doing it, but it means I'd have to spell all of them and maybe some other people have to bring ones. That's valid. With the spelling of what give them away. That's valid. That's a few interesting. Spellings in here, that's all.
Starting point is 00:25:51 I apologize. Can I get some spelling on fucking? Fucking. Okay. Oh, fuck in. Actually, that does give away. That changes it. Honestly?
Starting point is 00:26:01 Yeah. It's, yeah, not fucking. Yeah, it's fucking. See, okay, because I was, that one was, yeah, we're standing out to me too. It's in contention because I was like, well, it's another country. Maybe they did just like, you know,
Starting point is 00:26:11 they don't notice that it's as much of a swear. But fucking is a pretty deliberate choice, whereas fucking could just be a translation. Yeah. I think I'm... That's not spelled, well. You did this. I did do this.
Starting point is 00:26:26 S-O-U-P-H-A-I and fucking is. It's too late. F-U-D-K-E-N. You're still locking in? If you double K? That changes things again. Does that mean something different? No, I...
Starting point is 00:26:37 You're sticking on... It would be unfair. Yeah, it would be unfair. It's not unfair. I'd ask for all the sparring. Were you thinking... What you're spelled differently? I don't care.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Were you thinking... Actually, yeah, what question... What is... Huh? Is it because it's like a... Because I thought... Yeah. It doesn't matter.
Starting point is 00:26:54 Yes, Jackson. You go. It'll give you possibly clues to a better answer. And you know what? Maybe I do care if I win. Okay. I'm tossing it between
Starting point is 00:27:01 eat the fucking mall and pawn sack because porn sack's so left field I'm gonna go porn sack let's do it dude sack a pawn it's a good afternoon tell you what that leaves the douche
Starting point is 00:27:16 I would like to lock in the fuck one please okay locked in I don't believe any of us would have spelled fucking like that so I could potentially be giving the house a point but this is none of you sex of shit none of you are porn sacks So shit.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Yeah, that's a dangerous one because that has Adam Carnivalry. Yeah, but it's so left field. Yours is the one I can't pick in that. Greg's House of Yommi is a very obvious Greg Larson reference. So it's not bad. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:27:45 So nice try, whoever submitted that answer. I'm on to you. That's funny. Try to eliminate by knowing my, because I don't really know people. I overthink too much. That's what happens.
Starting point is 00:27:56 You got to get in your own head. Go crazy. Well, this is. If you're doing who knew. and you don't lose your mind and also worry that you're the worst podcaster and the dumbest man on earth. Dude, this douche's the only guy
Starting point is 00:28:07 comes on here and it breaks him every single time. I don't know why it comes back. He always leaves a shell of himself. This is my favorite podcast to guest on for that exact reason. It gives me ego, yeah. I would do it every week. And I would have, my response would not change.
Starting point is 00:28:23 I would be overthinking it. You would not get comfortable. I would be like, I should be getting good now and I wouldn't. Okay, so come. That was authentic tie. That was douche. Fun fact.
Starting point is 00:28:34 Most common male name in Denmark. Oh my God. Finally, I've known that. Tie me up. That was Patrick, the question writer. Greg's house of yummy.
Starting point is 00:28:44 That was the house. I was just speaking to Greg. So that I didn't realize. Yeah, that probably did slip into my head. He pegged you. Now, soup and tie. Adam Carnival.
Starting point is 00:28:57 I went for this. That was Jackson Bailey. Oh, yeah. Jackson's on the ball. board. Again. Again, yeah. Feels good.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Jackson remains on the board. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I've forgotten. I've written that point of. Don't think of my one point, dude. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:09 Well, that was two. That's two. Yeah, exactly. Now, uh, Dusha went for eat a fucking pork mal. That was Adam Carnival. He would spell it like that. Ha ha.
Starting point is 00:29:20 And that means that Jackson is correct. He's porn sack. Yes. Porn sack. It just was so bizarre and it was not an obvious joke. And it's not the kind of joke Adam's going to make. It's not that it's too left-field for Dusha. Why wouldn't I make that joke?
Starting point is 00:29:35 You're not going to just pick a random, there'll be a little more thorn. If Porn Sack is someone's answer, to get it, to get it to the mindset of who knew it. If Porn Sack is someone's answer, that's an answer you make when you've been desperately humming the keyboard for 20 minutes. And you're out of Porn Sack.
Starting point is 00:29:54 Fair enough. Fair enough. All right. Question four comes from Ashley Dickinson. from Bradford and West Yorkshire. The question is, what is the name of the lake in the Sartu region in the Northwest Territories of Canada?
Starting point is 00:30:07 Okay. All right. It's just come up with the name of a lake. And while you write your answers, this is what Patrick Early writes about that Thai place. My sister lives in Copenhagen and I found this restaurant
Starting point is 00:30:21 while putting together a scavenger hunt-style adventure for a 40th birthday of businesses at number 40 on various streets around the city. The name Porn Sacks seems to translate roughly to sanctified blessing. Beautiful name for a boy or girl. Absolutely, Patrick. Fantastic work.
Starting point is 00:30:38 And while you're still running your answers, let's go for a quick break. And we're back. And some brief discussion off here about satisfaction of the answers. And let me tell you, listeners, you're in for a treat with round four. We should hype up every round before it happens. Wow. Whoa. What a round.
Starting point is 00:31:00 For you, that break was one ad. For us, it was 15 minutes as we all had to wash our faces to clear the tears from how much we were laughing. This might literally change my life. I think so, dude. This is the first day of the rest of your life. This could be the last day of my life. As every appearance with you knew it is. All right, the answers are in.
Starting point is 00:31:18 Question number four. What is the name of the lake in the Satu region of the Northwest Territories of Canada? I say the lake. That's probably a lake anyway. Here are your options. Big wet lake. Okay. Beef and rice lake.
Starting point is 00:31:33 The lake. Gushing syrups. Duck, duck moose or man drowned himself like. Does anyone else have trouble where when he's done talking you forget every answer. The way my brain works
Starting point is 00:31:53 is when I'm hearing them, I lock into one and then forget everything. Instead of eliminating them as they come into my brain, which feels smart. but then I get to the end and forget what? The only problem is.
Starting point is 00:32:05 What's happening? The same frequency, though, that locks onto the correct answer, sometimes my brain gets distracted by hearing my own answer and locks onto that and I go, I can't say that. I'm always anticipating the next answer thinking, what am I going to hear? And then he gets to the end that I was like, oh, I didn't keep anything.
Starting point is 00:32:23 Well, you're answering last year, so you'll be able to glean a few off the other two. What do you think, Jackson? I'm going to get the last one. Man drowned in Lake Lake. Man drowned himself Lake. Yeah. I think that's the only one that rings true to me.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Yeah. I'm gonna look in the lake. Yeah. The lake is good. That's the one that I want to be true. Yeah. I'd say if you go there and you go, oh yeah. That's the lake.
Starting point is 00:32:49 Also, you kept saying this question. So this is going to go one or two ways. Yeah. One. You know the answer. And you kept saying, what's the name of the lake? Hmm. A hint?
Starting point is 00:32:58 Or alternatively, you wrote this. It's true. Yeah, yeah, yeah, good point. Or it's your answer. Okay,
Starting point is 00:33:05 well, let you say all the possibilities are what you think might be possible. I know it's not, it's not mine or it's Adam. It's not Adams and it's not mine.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Okay. All right. Adam, what do you think? Um, uh, I wish I'd learned more. What was the first one?
Starting point is 00:33:22 Would you like them all again? You're allowed to ask for that. Yeah. Big wet. Beef and rice. Beef and rice. Beef and rice. Right.
Starting point is 00:33:29 Gushing syrups, duck-duck-moose, man drowned himself. And the lake. Yeah, that one I referred to as the. I guess I'll go. Because I got into the, because I said big wet and left off the lake. I said beef and rice left off to the lake. And I'm like, oh, fuck. Give me duck, duck, duck.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Duck, duck moose. Duck, duck moose, the joke one. That makes me feel like I shouldn't have picked up. You got one last chance to pick someone else. No. It feels rude. It's not rude. It's not rude.
Starting point is 00:34:03 Who suffers? No, no. Lock it in. Lock it in, Eddie. Here's who wrote the answers. Big Wet Lake. That was Ashley the question writer. Thank God.
Starting point is 00:34:13 That was the other one I was going to pick. It could also be a reference to the Melbourne-based single. Yeah. Or Mish Whitrop. Yeah. But also, I think it's very accurate. Yeah. Lakes are big and wet.
Starting point is 00:34:25 True. Famously. Gushing syrups. That was Joel Dushia. Okay. It's beautiful. It's poetic. It sounded real- One of the world's shortest ever poems.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Mm. Gushing zero. Isn't that the shortest line in the Bible? Yeah, I believe so. Jesus gosh. Yeah. Beef and rice lake. That was Jackson.
Starting point is 00:34:46 Still maybe had his head in the restaurant question. I think so. What? Canada beef rice. I don't know. Well, I was gonna go chicken and rice. He's don't talk me through that one too. At least I've referenced a Canadian.
Starting point is 00:34:59 I am so bad at picking my friends's humor because every single one I thought that was you to be honest. Oh wow. Yeah. Because I thought the lake, my risk there was I was like that's either the house or him. All right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Fingers crossed to the last one. Fingers crossed for right. All right. Now, Adam went for duck, duck, duck moose. Too early. That was the house. As Jackson said, that was the pretty obvious joke one. Like duck, duck goose. They're all funny. You gotta think beyond just funny, Adam. That's funny. There's ways to this game.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Carnival, eh? Now that I think about it, the Canadian goose is like, the Canadian gist. But I was thinking I was like maybe goose land in the lake. Why would it became moose then? I don't know. What's going on, Adam? The Canadian geese. Now,
Starting point is 00:35:55 representing a company. Well, keep, keep going, huh? Because I do something about your future. Joel Dushu went for the lake and he said the only scenario that it wasn't was Adam wrote it. That was Adam. The only scenario
Starting point is 00:36:09 that he ruled out. It's either Jackson, the house, he knew he didn't write it. The only thing he put a lot through. I would say that if you're going at zero, that's as impressive as going at a hundred. To get statistically, to get every,
Starting point is 00:36:29 It's a wrong. It's impressive. And then to be wrong inside. Side quests are wrong as well. I'm not being as wrong as possible. And that means Jackson Bailey's correct. It's man drowned himself. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:44 What a hectic name of it. Has that not the joke one? But to me, that was the correct. It's a game. And then it becomes a pun when you add moose. Man drowned in lake is what you might name a lake after a man drowned in it. Finding it probably.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Honestly, to me, I thought that was a hectic, are true. Yeah. That was almost the one I went for as well. What? I'm assuming that goes a while back, but I don't know. We'll find out in a second. All right, penultimate question comes from Ed Schumark Banks from York in UK. All right.
Starting point is 00:37:18 And his question is, James McCartney was a World War I veteran and a biologist who specialized in bacteria. What was his nickname? James McCartney. What was his nickname? And while you're writing your answers, here's some more info about that lake. Ashley writes, the lake is named, oh, here we go. I'm finding out it powdered straight off the back. Wow.
Starting point is 00:37:38 The lake is named for two brothers who drowned attempting to cross the lake. Oh, bummer. Brutal for one of the men. Dailed and failed. That sucks. Yeah, you'd think it'd be men drowned themselves. Yeah, I guess that's a complicated, yeah. Men drowned in the lake lake.
Starting point is 00:37:52 According to local resident Morris Nail, who heard the story from an elder, the origin of the name is very old. They told the Northwest Territories News North in 2017. What I heard was there were two brothers that had gone across that lake, even though their boat wasn't in good condition. It was a birch bar canoe. They were cursed with medicine power and on their way back, even though they really didn't have to cross the lake,
Starting point is 00:38:19 they crossed it. And that's where the boat collapsed on them and they both drowned. Damn. Wow. All right. The answer is in for question number five, James McCartney. World War I veteran and biologist specialising bacteria. What was his nickname?
Starting point is 00:38:32 Here are your options. Dirty Jim. McFartney. Bimbo the boy bacteriologist. The Mac Attack. The explosive beetle or the horse lover. I feel like I went through them pretty quick, so slow it down a little. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:38:49 Dusha. You're up first here. Dirty Jim. McFartney. Bimbo, the boy bacteriologist. The Macatuck attack. the explosive beetle or the horse lover. God, there's a lot of good,
Starting point is 00:39:04 there's a lot to love. Big fan of all of these. What does the exploding beetle mean? Everything else sort of makes sense. What could they mean? Horse lover makes sense? Oh, yeah. There's probably a lot of bacteria on horses.
Starting point is 00:39:18 Fair enough. Or maybe it's ironic. Yeah, he has a horses. For a nickname to have lived on, doing it again. Let's look at the exploding beetle because I don't understand it. Smart.
Starting point is 00:39:34 What could that mean? I don't know, dude. Dude, did you write it? What does it mean? I've locked it in. I only need you to repeat the first one, please. Dirty gym. Dirty gem.
Starting point is 00:39:47 I'm going to go at the risk of being told that I went the joke one again. Can you lock me in as a horse lover please? Adam Don't say that That's getting Clicked out of context
Starting point is 00:40:04 He's reluctant If I Can you lock me in If you're worried about Clipping me saying That I'm a horse lover Clip clopping you Clip clipping you
Starting point is 00:40:12 Clip Cliping up Make sure you lock me up At that In facieality Against the law Send me to jail Send me to jail
Starting point is 00:40:26 Send me to the one That overlooks Fleming Racecourse, please. Can you send me to the one where they keep those cop horses? Those big athletic beasts. Ooh, I hope I don't get strip searched by a horse. That would be uncomfortable. Oh, I'm assuming mouth.
Starting point is 00:40:44 Oh, I'm assuming mouth. Well, sorry, I'm hoping now. My goodness. I'm going to go. Oh, God. I do, horse lover is up there because maybe he did a lot of work with horse bacteria.
Starting point is 00:41:07 But why would you call him horse lover? I'm, exploding beetles. I'm staying out of this because I almost talked you into my answer. Exploding beetle also is tempting because maybe he was working with exploding beetles and maybe it's not even a nickname related to him being a bacteriologist.
Starting point is 00:41:21 The rest are obvious joke answers. Although, well, no, it's going to be like, nicknames are often jokes. aren't they? The exploding beetle could somehow, because I'm kissing my pants every time I call you Matt.
Starting point is 00:41:34 And you know that is a nickname. It is. I've had this argument before. I mean, it is. It doesn't really count. I've had this argument so many times, Matt. It's infuriating.
Starting point is 00:41:43 Calling him Jack, is that a nickname? No, of course it's not. It's my name. It's just a bit of my name. Yeah, yeah, that's not a nickname. No, it's your name. No, it's your last name. Dush.
Starting point is 00:41:53 I don't know. Well, Dush gets a point because it's like, it's like rude. in a weird, you know what I mean? This is part of my name. Yeah. My brother,
Starting point is 00:42:02 Dush bag, I think of a bit of nicknames. Dusha. That's just your sir. Yeah. My brother gets called canna for carnivalet. Mm. That's, borderline. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:13 Because that's quite a change. Yeah. If he was Karner, not a nickname. Crazy. Yeah, but Kano. But Kana's also, yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:42:23 Can we Kana have an answer, Jackson? Let's like an exploding beetle. Let's like an exploding beetle. I'm thinking. Exploding Beetle makes sense to me. I didn't pick it, but it makes sense to me. Because you wrote it? No, because it's something to do with World War I.
Starting point is 00:42:35 Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. It's like a war nickname rather than... And that also, the horse one is also that too. Yeah, true, true. I don't know about that. Horses were in World War I. Yeah, true. The course World War II, I'd be like, no,
Starting point is 00:42:46 that's when we realized that horses are a liability. That's what we'll mowed down horses with machine guns. I can tell you, he definitely worked with horses at one point. All right, here are the answers. Who's who wrote the answers? Okay. McFartney I was Adam Carnivalo
Starting point is 00:43:00 Hey well done You took the hireerone With that one I reckon The Mac attack That was the house Dirty Jim That was Jackson, Matt Bailey Working hard for that work
Starting point is 00:43:11 Working hard really Struggling to get that one out James are Jim and dirty gym Bacteria dirty I'm there Adam went for the horse lover That was Joel Dushes On the board
Starting point is 00:43:22 Nicely done He wrote what he knew Yeah Beautiful beasts Yeah Yeah I really are Yeah
Starting point is 00:43:31 It's okay to love horses Yeah Plenty of people love horses Flanding of cool animals That's sick They're so big When you see a horse You go damn that's big
Starting point is 00:43:41 Yeah and they got madness Sort of resting in their tiny little brains Yeah I don't know it is But there's someone in the podcast scene That's terrified of horses Oh that's awesome Or like hates them
Starting point is 00:43:50 I feel like And I might be wrong here But listeners of this show Listen to their show but I believe it might have been James Mr. Sunday movie. He hates horses. Yeah, I think he hates horses.
Starting point is 00:44:00 That's crazy. That's crazy to me. Now, Joel and Jackson both went to the explosive beetle. I'm afraid that was Ed, the question writer. And that means the correct answer is Bimbo the Boy of Bacteriologist. God damn. Which is insane. I was, that was not out of the running.
Starting point is 00:44:16 What the hell is going on? It sounds like him. No, Bimbo the Boy sounds like a 1930s. It's Bimbo the Boy. Oh, bloody Bimbo. But then the bacteriologist, I was like, oh, that's what I backed up. Oh, it's a bit.
Starting point is 00:44:28 It's a lot. Jackson, you've never made more sense than when you talk on this show. Everything you say, I can't deny. All right. Jackson, the undeniable. Only here. The undeniable Jackson Bailey.
Starting point is 00:44:42 That's me. That brings us to the final question. This round's always deaf. The score check is pretty rough. But here it is. Joel Dush is on one point. Adam Carnivali on two. Jackson Bailey on four,
Starting point is 00:44:53 but out in front. on eight points. God. God damn it. But this final round, you three get triple points, the house does not. So it's still truly
Starting point is 00:45:00 anyone's game. Sort of. No. No, it is. You can get up to nine points either. Oh, that's true. That's true.
Starting point is 00:45:08 You get the right answer and both people pick yours. Yes. Of course. All right. So the final question comes from someone calling themselves
Starting point is 00:45:14 Cat Fischio from... I think that's a real name. Yeah, me too. And I bet they're beautiful. From Gathersburg, Maryland in the United States. The question is, what is the synops of the film
Starting point is 00:45:23 Tadpole? and while you're writing those answers here's some more info about that Bimbo the boy bacteriologist triple B. According to Ed, truly it was a different time. Although Bimbo these days usually carries a very different meaning when it entered English originally in the early 20th century it had a meaning more similar to the Italian origin
Starting point is 00:45:45 simply meaning a male child. McCartney was apparently given this nickname by a priest of the Scottish Church no less due to his youthful appearance with round chubby cheeks and pinkish complexion. McCartney went on to be a successful microbiologist and bacteriologist, lecturing at the University of Edinburgh and later in life at the Adelaide Institute of Medical and Veterinary Science in Australia. My God, I mispronounced Australia, which is fun.
Starting point is 00:46:16 He is mildly famous in microbiology circles as the namesake of the McCartney bottle, a particular type of glass bottle used for sample collection. All right. The answer in. Final question. What is the synopsis of the film Tadpole? A French language comedy, tadpole follows an unnamed frog spawn
Starting point is 00:46:33 as it endues trials and tribulations to grow in a fully realized being. On the way, an also unnamed narrator, speculates on what the tadpole is thinking. And also unnamed narrator. Okay, film synopsis. Option two.
Starting point is 00:46:50 What happens when you're, a genius boy gets sent to high school at the age of 10. Tadpole tells the incredible true story of Tom Tadpole Pendlebury. A little boy thrust into the edges of adulthood before he even hits puberty. Intelligence can get you far in life, but can I get you through high school? It's option two, option three. Oscar Grubman is sensitive and compassionate. He speaks French fluently, is passionate about Voltaire.
Starting point is 00:47:16 French, wise French come up twice. Tadpole's not French. What does that mean? And he thinks the feature that tells the most about a woman is her hands. Beautiful, sophisticated women are all over him. The only problem is he only has eyes for one woman, his stepmother, Eve. It's option three, option four. Nazi skinhead Tyler Weasel finds himself at a crossroad
Starting point is 00:47:42 when his family genealogy reveals connection with the last Polish monarch. Stanislaw August Ponatowski. Like, well, that's not any of us. Yeah. Cast away. We're not coming up with a name like that. No way. Cast away from the rest of his clan
Starting point is 00:47:57 due to impure blood. Tyler must now come to terms with his past actions and beliefs against the reality of his new life. Can this tad pole find it in his heart to change his ways and find compassion for others? They had me until that long. That was too much.
Starting point is 00:48:14 That's crazy. That's when I locked in. They said the title of the movie. This must be real. Well, finally, in this 2001 coming of age story, Josh Hatchet is a 12-year-old boy on the cusp of his teenage years whose life is thrown into abject chaos
Starting point is 00:48:29 when his town's traditional frog hunt is threatened by crass commercialization and commercial overreach. All right, Adam. Lock in skinhead, please. Clipped art. I love horses. Look at skinhead, please.
Starting point is 00:48:49 Jackson. Okay. Um, God. Uh, okay, lock in the one about the kid going to school. Oh, let's do that. Let's, let's spin those, those wheels through, roll them dice. So you got the, oh, yep. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:02 Yes, there's two kids on the cusp, but you're going for the Tom tadpole Pendlebury. Now, now I'm not sure. Why? Because I just said part of it. Well, you just reminded me this too. Okay. Yeah, let's go. No, we'll go for the, the, the, the one that was.
Starting point is 00:49:18 The other one was about the, uh, his town was thrown into chaos. The frog home. The frog hunt, yeah. I'm gonna go the first one. Corporate overreach. Yeah. That's not,
Starting point is 00:49:28 that doesn't scream cinema to you. Well, no, I'll go the pendleton, whatever it was. And that leaves Dusha. I'm gonna go the one Jackson didn't lock in
Starting point is 00:49:40 and remind him that the one he picked is the plot of young Sheldon. They had to get the idea somewhere. All right, locked in. He's who wrote the answers. Now, French language comedy. It is so funny, you immediately.
Starting point is 00:49:59 I thought it was real good. That was Adam Carnivalre. Yeah. At the frog spawn? Adam Carnivalo went for Nazi skinhead. Too early. Yeah. That was by question writer Catfishio.
Starting point is 00:50:15 Damn. You got catfished. You got catfished. You got catfished, dude. He got you. And how sweet it is. I love it. It's good.
Starting point is 00:50:22 I love being Catholic. Ladies. Now, Jackson Bailey went for Tom Tadbol Pendelbury. The reason why Dusha seems to know where this was inspired was because he wrote it. Damn it. Remember we did a podcast about Young Sheldon last month? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:40 That's the plot of Young Sheldon. But you did change the name. To a footballer, which I thought might have given it away. Do you know how hard? My brain was like just being, like you know last names, you follow sport. It's all last names. That's all last names.
Starting point is 00:50:55 That's such a funny take on sport. Sport. It's all last name. Yeah. Got a last name we got a last name. And then my brain landed on Pendlebury because I was like that's the most like generic ish. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:06 Pendlebury, yeah, okay. It's in like just for a last name but also it's scary because he broke so many records. He was in the news so much. These guys aren't watching the news or sports. Yeah, I know. Okay. Joel Dusha went for the other coming of age story.
Starting point is 00:51:18 That was Jackson Bay. You got your back, bitch. How sweet it is that? So that I would get a point. That was real sweet because of the arrogance that he did it. He's like, that was wrong. You suck. I'm in your...
Starting point is 00:51:31 His own coming of age. And that means no one got the correct answer. The real one is, in a lot of ways, the silliest sounding one, Oscar Grubman as the hots-thruised stepmother. What? Oh, yeah. That was the real film.
Starting point is 00:51:48 God damn. Oh, well. So I'll tabulate the scores. In the meantime, I can tell you, this film's got critics liked it more than the audience, 77% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes, have approval rating, only 57% audience. Cat Fischio writes,
Starting point is 00:52:03 It's a hard sell to watch a movie where the main character fucks their stepmom. Yeah, that's tricky. No, it has the hots for, I don't think. Very French. Yeah. I think the stepmom was Susan Saradon as well. Whoa. Susan Sarandon.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Yeah. No, it was Sigourne. way, right? Whoa. Oh my God. They're both beautiful and talented actresses. But this is what
Starting point is 00:52:27 Catfichio writes. This movie is 78 minutes of bonkers behavior by every character. A 15 year old is taken advantage of by a middle-aged woman and everyone treats it like, Yolo.
Starting point is 00:52:37 That wasn't his stepmom. That was his step-mom's friend. Okay. Played by Fraser's ex-wife on Frazier. What? Did you say Frasier's ex-wife or Frasier's sex.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Fraser and Niles. Wait, no, we never see... We never see Niles. Maris? Maris. This is the one we see. Bibi, Bibi, Newark. It was only...
Starting point is 00:53:00 His wife from Cheers. Made for $150,000 in 2000, which may explain why it looks like it was filmed on a cannon handheld camera and has poor sound mixing. All cast and crew had to take pay cuts in order to make this weird movie. I don't know how they got
Starting point is 00:53:16 Sigourney Weaver to agree to this. At least it was only only 10 days of work for her. According to IMDB, it somehow has a 6.1 rating, and quote, during various unused takes, New York City local residents,
Starting point is 00:53:29 Jerry Seinfeld, Joel Cohen, and Francis McDormand happened to wander through the frame. Wow. Whoa. That's a fun fact. All right.
Starting point is 00:53:37 So final score checks. I have a good feeling about my score. You might have beat me. I think I've definitely taken the silver. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 00:53:47 Final scores on two. points. It's Adam Carnivalet, a fourth position. Moving up in a third on four points of Joel Douche. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:53:56 Thank God. Holding on a second spot on seven points is Jackson Bailey, but just holding a narrow lead in part with the help of Adam Carnivalet picking the Nazi one. It's the house. On 10, right?
Starting point is 00:54:11 On nine. Oh, I was so close. Only a single point for the house. So that brings us to the end of the episode, where can people find you? You can find us go to sanspitchradio.com, all of the podcasts. We do.
Starting point is 00:54:22 We'll be there. Listen to us on Plumbing the Death Star, thumb cramps, baseless speculation, D.D.D. is for nerds. Beyond the map, I mean, any of these podcasts are good. What's something I've been on? Give someone a specific episode to check out. Slowing the Death Star feature. Whenever you guys plug your shows, I feel so overwhelmed.
Starting point is 00:54:38 I'm like, listeners must be like, I don't know, where I can begin? All right, here's what you're going to do. You're going to go to Plumming the Dat Star. You're going to find that on your RSS feed. And you're going to find the episode, what Ray would. be the best rate of half, okay? And then you're gonna, if you watch it on YouTube, you're gonna see as Matt Stewart,
Starting point is 00:54:55 he's like he's in the Kubrick, okay? It's like the end of 2001. I think there's one point where we turned to you for a response and you go, I don't know what's happening. Because you're so overwhelmed. I thought you were saying he's in the bed reaching out.
Starting point is 00:55:09 It's funny that in your plugs I'm overwhelmed. But also in the recordings of it. Maybe it's just my state of when you guys are talking. We go fast. Yeah, it's quick. Alternatively, if you're looking for an episode of Plumbing the Death Star,
Starting point is 00:55:22 there's just a traditional lineup without guests, I'd recommend, who would you date if you were a superhero? It's an episode where we're talking about the movie, my super ex-girlfriend, and we argue about eating human shit for 25 minutes. You really don't like plugging, do you? Whatever I'm on your show.
Starting point is 00:55:42 It would be smart to give an accurate record. It would be podcasting malpractice to not mention. Also, Would it be malfeasance? I don't know what that means, but I love the word. I think it will be malfeasance. What is that made?
Starting point is 00:55:53 Anyway, I'll check that out later. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And Adam, what about you? You're on that same network. He mentioned the shows. We don't need to repeat them. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:00 And you are for nerds. If you want to listen to D&D for NUDs for NUDs, RSSB. And you're the ad, uh, do go on. That is true. Oh yeah. Yes.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Yes. Which is, I think pointing out that up, people will know you from. But think pointing out that our plugs are overwhelming. Only fixed this overwhelming plug situation. I agree. All right.
Starting point is 00:56:17 I've done final scores. So we can say goodbye. Thanks so much for joining. Thanks for having this, always a pleasure. Do you show up your recovery. I'm just going to go sit down and the quiet from it
Starting point is 00:56:26 and maybe read a book. Yeah. Cheers for everyone who tuned into this episode of Who Knew with Matt Stewart, please give us a five so. Are you tell your friends if you think anyone, you know,
Starting point is 00:56:34 might enjoy it. But anyway, now that you know it, I'll be Matt's show it. Goodbye. See ya. I know we're in, we're condensed for time.
Starting point is 00:56:52 today Matt. I'm breaking the fourth wall. Don't break the fourth wall. People do not, now everyone's feeling the stress. People hate it. People are under the pub. Edit this out come out. But I do like that you've had to, it sounds like that people you've had guests on that have pulled you aside and being like, hey, you're gonna need to work on the scoring in the future because I feel like it swings too fairly towards the house. Yeah. Triple points in the last question?
Starting point is 00:57:15 Yeah. That's no good. You know what they say about the score? They're dialing it in. It's good. Don't worry about it. figuring it at it. The score. The score.
Starting point is 00:57:25 The score. It's like a score, but it's bigger. It's got webbed hands. Yeah. Yeah. I think that brings us to the answers for today.
Starting point is 00:57:35 Yeah. Question one. I think it brings us to the end of today. Where did you? You guys, where are you sending your answers? I'm just trying to. Facebook messenger where I've always said.
Starting point is 00:57:46 Do you reckon today, just for something fun, you can send them to me on Instagram? Sure. I'm still going to log in my Facebook. Sounds like a blast. It's asking me to do something with WhatsApp. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, what?
Starting point is 00:57:57 Yeah. Now, it's like to see if we're friends on Instagram. You are now risking me stopping doing the episode to watch Reels. Please don't. There's some good stuff in here, Matt. Where the hell? Hey, I had no issue finding you. There, Jackson, come on.
Starting point is 00:58:12 I'm here. If every time I have to tag you in anything, I have to stop and think. That's not the case for anyone else. Okay, sent, sent, sent, sent, sent, sent. Uh, as, cause you, yeah, what, what is your hams forever? I am hams forever on Instagram. Give me a follow. And, uh, you'll look like you're now Jackson Bailey.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Yes. Uh, I believe it says jack some baby, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, probably. I have a quick, I have a question. I'm so sorry. I have a good question. I'm working on it, yeah. I can see that you're, Matt, you're three dots, you know, like composing a message.
Starting point is 00:58:44 Just say it to me. It's all right. Say it to his face. Send me the answer is what he was talking. Am I? No, there's no dots there. I'm getting dots, brother. Well, they're phantom dots.
Starting point is 00:58:58 Well, they, oh, they might be phantom dots. Yeah. Ghost dots. Damn, to go to a bathhouse with the, we should go to a bathhouse, the four of us. I don't know if they do bathhouses or they're just pools. Well, whatever it is. There's the bronze book bathhouse. It's literally written on the wall.
Starting point is 00:59:16 Isn't it just, I've been there. It's kind of just pools. That's what a bathhouse kind of is there. I don't know. It's a pool where you bait. I mean, I don't know. I'm asking you. I wouldn't know.
Starting point is 00:59:25 There is pools, but there's also a bath house. A bath of the bathhouse, surely. Dush is there with soap and clothes. He's really confusing. Fully clothes. His jeans. I like it, but even if you did spell cloth rod,
Starting point is 00:59:40 I feel superfluous after towel. Well, it was before towel. Okay. It's before towels. So you wrote clothes. You were like, I've misspelled that,
Starting point is 00:59:50 but there's no going back. I didn't realize it misspelled it until Matt read it out and I was going to be like, you read that out wrong and then I looked at the message again and I was like, I'm wrong. I was mid-reading it out when I had the same thought. I'm like, I'm just going to have to assume me. That's what he wrote.
Starting point is 01:00:05 So stressful. I've done that in the past as well. You're under the gun. You've got to type and think. That's hard. Every now and then, when people talk about birds, that annoying meme from like 2006 pops into my head of just one crow on a bench
Starting point is 01:00:19 and it says attempted murder. and it's always like, if you know, you know. Yeah, that is annoying. Why do I still think about that? It's been 20 years. I was really close to befriending a crow last year, but it didn't work out. Oh, no.
Starting point is 01:00:33 What happened? I didn't have the perseverance. Yeah. Is befriending the crow, did you just see a crow when it didn't fly away? No, for about a week, I was feeding a crow on my front porch. That feels like enough. No, because I stopped putting in the effort so, so did he.
Starting point is 01:00:51 Yeah. It fell apart. That can happen. Yeah, exactly. He was coming to you for food. You stopped providing food. He was like, well, why am I sticking around? That sounds like a joint thing.
Starting point is 01:01:00 Yeah, we kind of just didn't gel, I guess. When you're separate with. Yeah. You're really hoping that man drowned himself like was going to have a cheer. More cheerful origin story. Absolutely. Hey, I mean, Walting Matilda ends in a pretty similar way.
Starting point is 01:01:16 That's a good point. We love Waltzic Matilda. Great tune. Yeah. Great tune. Oh, bank. Yeah, true banger, dude, true banger. I like that some people want to make that our national anthem.
Starting point is 01:01:25 Yeah, me too. It's a good story. Why not? I think it speaks to the Australian character. One thing, and it, look, to avoid, I mean, like, obviously, advanced Australia affair, lyrically, what it stands for, sucks, ass. But one thing we don't talk about enough is,
Starting point is 01:01:37 it's just an embarrassing song. Yeah, it sucks. Yeah, it's not cool. You've removed the lyrics, it's still sucks. Yeah. It's a douche, you know? Duh, da, da, da, da, da, da, da, ba, ba, ba, Yeah, the lyrics, I think, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:01:53 It just sucks from go to woe. I don't know if I hate the, I don't know about the lyrics. I can't really think. Gertz so fun, I think. I think it's really, it is really funny that we're like, we're trying to find stuff to talk about
Starting point is 01:02:04 how good to train you is and we're like, pretty cool we're an island. Oh, wet. That's, we're good. It's got to, got to be happy about that. Yes, but yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:14 It's, I don't. It feels like a funeral sort of. Yeah. You're carrying a body. Exactly. Which is crazy because Waltzum the total literally ends with the death of a man. And it sounds better.
Starting point is 01:02:23 There was a guy, he stole the sheep. The guy came with like, hey, you stole the sheep and he killed himself. Yeah. But he lives on as a ghost. Exactly. Exactly. So this ghost can be heard.
Starting point is 01:02:33 Yeah. This round is always death for me. I don't know why, but I can't, I don't think I've ever successfully picked. And I don't think I've ever successfully written. What happens to me is that I write like a synopsis, but then I look at it and I go, that's not funny.
Starting point is 01:02:50 interesting and then I go back and try and make it funny and interesting in bracket. Here's what happens to me. I don't know how to write a synopsis. So when he's reading, listen for the one that doesn't sound like a synopsis. I like doing this with, I mean, like, this is the one question that really throws me when I'm not with the same people in this podcast because everyone approaches this totally differently, including the people submitting the synopsis. Very true. So sometimes you get stuff like in 1998. Yeah. John. Yeah, it's true. That's not, there's not a, and yeah, the real answers aren't a uniform thing either. No, exactly.
Starting point is 01:03:26 Can't learn from the last. No. Because, yeah, like, sometimes it'll be like, in this crazy romp, and other times it'd be like, John Dingus is a- Killed the president. Yeah, exactly. That is crazy. Last week's episode had, was it called Dirty Dingis.
Starting point is 01:03:41 What? That is crazy. Dirty Dengis. Dude, that's what I have. Dude, you should wash that. But, yeah, I think in part, I do that. so that. It's smart, we can't learn.
Starting point is 01:03:52 There's nothing to take away. You can't learn. And also people who are coming to play the first time aren't at a disadvantage. True, true, true. And it means that I can't come back with more confidence next time. It drives me crazy.
Starting point is 01:04:03 You can only be hood. Yeah. I have to go sit at my car after this and go, am I? Am I both not funny and not indoligent? I love the idea of you, Matt, saying goodbye to Dush. You're watching him get in his car
Starting point is 01:04:15 and then he doesn't leave and just starts scrares. But like with the windows up so you can't hear it. Okay, see you. Bang, bang, bang, bang. Dude, you should wash that. But yeah, I think in part I'd do that so that...
Starting point is 01:04:31 It's smart. We can't learn. There's nothing to take away from. You can't learn. And also people who are coming to play the first time aren't at a disadvantage. True, true, true, true. And it means that I can't come back with more confidence next time.
Starting point is 01:04:42 It drives me crazy. You can only be hurt. Yeah. I have to go sit at my car after this and go, am I? Am I both not funny? and not indulgent. I love the idea of you, Matt,
Starting point is 01:04:53 saying goodbye to Dusha, watching him get in his car, and then he doesn't leave and just starts scrubs. But like with the windows up so you can't hear it. Okay, see you. Bang, bang, bang, bang.
