WHOA That's Good Podcast - Forming Friendships in Every Season | Sadie & Christian Huff | John Luke & Mary Kate Robertson
Episode Date: July 29, 2026John Luke and Mary Kate Robertson are so game for an honest conversation about how friendships grow and change through parenthood, marriage, and changing seasons of life. Mary Kate opens up about welc...oming twins, adjusting to life with five kids, and learning to trust that God will meet her in the middle of the overwhelming parts. The couples talk about building deeper friendships as adults, making space for people in different seasons, and letting connection look different than it did when they were younger. They also get practical about keeping God at the center of marriage when kids, work, and everyday chaos are all competing for attention. Hey friends. I hope you're having a great day and I can't wait to get into today's episode.
It's going to be so much fun because our guests are top notch.
But I want to give you guys a little update personally and professionally, I guess you can say.
So we've always had the Wednesday episode and then somewhere along the way we added a Monday episode.
We do every other Monday. We call it sisters and friends.
You guys who are listeners know that we do this.
But this season of life has been so wild for us.
A lot of you guys know what happened with Kit, and so much of that just changed a lot of our life, honestly.
And so with that, I'm taking a step back in some things.
And one of those things is dropping that Monday episode.
But I just want you all to hear me say, that is not because I don't love doing this podcast.
I love doing this podcast with everything in me.
It is my favorite thing that I get to do.
It is so much fun, so life-giving, meeting you guys out and about as my favorite thing
and seeing how this podcast has impacted you.
And I just want you to know it's impacted me too.
So in no way are we losing the podcast.
We're just dropping that one episode.
And in doing so, we hope to make Wednesday's episodes even better.
We already have just a solid lineup for this fall.
We can't wait to dive into so many great conversations and meet you here every Wednesday.
Thank you guys for being so committed to this podcast.
I hope you know I'm committed to it as well and committed to you guys.
And I can't wait to continue to grow together.
And Wednesdays are just going to be even.
better. So without further ado, here's today's episode. Thank you guys for understanding.
What's up, everybody? Happy Boy That's Good Wednesday. I hope you're having a great week, but
per usual, it is about to get so much better because we have some incredible guests. We have,
first of all, co-host Christian on the pod. And then we also have some of your favorite Well,
That's Good Guest, John Luke and Mary Kate. Welcome back to the pod.
Thanks for having us. It's great to be here.
Definitely, be honest.
This is your favorite podcast that you've been on this week, right?
Yes, for sure.
I've been on all three in the office this week.
Unashamed, duck hall room, and now...
Whoa, that's good.
Well, normally I pride myself on us having the best smelling room to do podcasts in.
But today, I'm not kidding.
We are powering through, like, a sewer moment.
I thought it was duck hall room when I walked in.
I was like, one of the smell in here is, I was like,
I thought it was Sadie because I was, I'm still next to you.
I didn't smell it as bad.
It was me for the best hour.
That would be like, I would be in the hospital.
It's, it, Nick, I've seen that happen too.
Rural!
Don't forget the worst time of my life.
Letus parasite.
Diarrhea parasite.
I'm scared.
I'm scared of it.
Corishen keeps joking.
And it keeps being like, oh, it's so weird, have diarrhea all day to
like, and then he's like, I'm just kidding.
And it scares me. She said, no, you
did it. No, you didn't. I'm just kidding.
Yeah, I know. So for those who aren't
living in Louisiana where there are parasites
and sewer smells, there's a couple other states. We have a lot
of stuff happening right now here
that we're navigating through. So
yeah, just wanted
all of our viewers to know for vulnerability's
sake. And if you're confused
and you're still listening, it's a diarrhea
parasite. I think it's countrywide.
I think it's everywhere. There's just
36 cases in Louisiana and count
The thing I saw, the thing I saw that was funny, the guys is like, if you just ate Taco Bell and you have diarrhea, it's not the parasite.
That is funny.
I know.
Well, there's only 36 cases out of like 4 million people.
Yeah.
But last year, I was hospitalized with a situation similar to maybe what the parasite might do to people.
And so I get scared now.
I'm like, don't be joking about it.
Don't be joking about it.
But we're fine.
sickness and in health.
We're fine.
I had just had kids.
I think it was mostly due to the season action, but all as well.
I'm not going to be scared.
Anywho, we have much more to talk about today.
We have a lot to talk about because you guys have been through a lot of life transitions.
Like, y'all have five kids.
What in the world?
It's crazy.
Cinco.
I know five.
You look, shell-shocked.
Yeah, we're just shell-shocked.
Yeah, it's hard to even start.
Well, let's go back to y'all thinking, oh, we're going to have one more to make it four.
I mean, after our first one, well, when we got married, I think we talked about it.
Let's go all the way back to the beginning.
It started in a dark place.
I saw a light.
It was cold in a bright room.
I was assuming like, exciting.
Oh, not bird.
I was starting at myver.
I was confused.
Yeah, sorry, that was my bird.
Oh, my gosh.
We can go back to the beginning.
No, I was going to start with, when we got married, we talked about it.
We were like, maybe four, maybe five.
And then we had our first one, we're like, oh, maybe one, maybe two.
That's real.
Because John Chephyr, I felt like it was such a tough baby.
And then we had, and we were like, all right, maybe we could do it.
And we had our second one, we were like, oh, this is super, this is great.
We can definitely have a third.
And then we did, and I was like, we're done.
We're never having another kid.
This is it.
And then after like a year, I was like, maybe we could do it again.
Maybe we could have one more.
I don't know, maybe one more.
And we got more than we bargained for.
And it's even better.
It's like, it's funny because I can't even imagine not having both of them now.
Like it would seem weird to have.
have one.
It's so sweet.
Well, y'all, because I know that y'all were playing on one more after having three,
do you think you would have had four and then potentially worked to five, or do you think
you would have stopped at four?
Well, that's what's funny to me hearing even you say this right now, because even after
John Chepard, the whole time, I've always said four or five, and I never faltered in that.
And I think I remember after we had John Shepard, someone telling me like, oh, do you
still want four and five?
And it almost sounded like a challenge, and they, like, doubted me.
And I was like, no, I do still think that.
Watch me.
Yeah, watch us.
Watch us go.
So I think if we would have had four, I think I probably always would have just, if we would have just had a singleton, just wondered if we'd want another one.
But I feel very complete.
We've said four or five.
And it felt like God.
I was like, okay, well, there's five.
There's four and five.
You know, four and five.
That's so sweet.
I feel like that is so real, John.
That's, like, how I've been.
Where are so many people asked this question, like, how do you know you're ready to have
kids or like how do you know how many you want to have or do you know how many you want to have
and it's like it's so hard to know some people are like Mary Kate we're like they've always known
like I want four or five and then sometimes you just kind of have to go with what life what life and
God hands you and it's like okay here's what one is like and you know it fills everyone right now
but then you get to the place where you're like okay actually like we can we want to have another
and then you know Lord willing if you have another and it is so up to God's timing and his plan for
your life that you get to step into. But y'all finding out y'all are having twins was crazy,
especially because, so for those who don't know, Mary Kate's sister, Kelly, so we all grew up
being like best friends in high school and have been close for so long. And Kelly had twins
last year. So she has twin boys. So Mary Kate's sister has twin boys. So I feel like once like
your sibling has twins, in my mind, you just don't think you're going to have twins.
Yeah, that was my mind too. Because I just did not, I did no world like thought you would have twins after
Kelly had twins. And so
talk to us about the day y'all found out that you were
having twins. Yeah. Mary Kay
is like, it's so shocking. I was not surprised
at all. Really?
Yeah, John Luke had said that a lot.
Especially in the beginning when I
I took like a week of like
processing and was just very surprised.
And John Luke was so calm
that whole week. Well, the week before
Mary Kay was like, yeah, Kelly had twins. So like my chances are higher.
No, no, no, no. No, I didn't say that because I definitely thought
my chances were lower.
Yeah, because you thought if you're a sister.
Yeah, exactly.
No, I'm always so confused.
I just always said, okay, anytime that I found that I was pregnant,
until you go to that first doctor's appointment, like, you don't know.
And like, I had always, I had actually hoped with Ella that she might be twins,
who's our second for whoever doesn't know.
But once we had, once we had her, ever since then, it was, it was never really like
hoping we were going to see twins, you know, on ultrasound.
found, but I had said that to John Luke.
I've said it probably with our third and then the fourth pregnancy of like, oh, you never
know.
Like, until we get there, we don't know.
Yeah.
And, but I saw them before my doctor even said anything.
Like, I saw something else on the screen.
And I was like, that's not too, is it?
She was like, yeah, it is.
Oh, my goodness.
And so she didn't verbally say it.
Yeah.
So I'm already freaking out.
And John Luke has no idea.
No, yeah.
She's, you know, doing the ultrasound.
She's, like, going along with the picture.
And then Mary Kay just goes, no.
And she, like, stopped like that.
And the nurse looks at her, yes.
He says, no, it's not.
And there's like, yes, yes, it is.
And I'm like, well, someone tell me what's going on.
I don't know what I'm looking at here.
And then they're like, you're having to do.
You're having to.
And then my next question was, oh, my gosh,
My sister has twins.
Like, what are the odds?
I would, too.
Because I just thought that would be lower.
And she's like, oh, well, they're actually higher.
And I was like, oh, I didn't know that.
Wow.
So it was the shock of a lifetime.

I remember that day.
Like, that was a vivid memory for me.
I remember the day.
I just came charging and deals.
Well, that was the funniest thing because I had just had kit.
So this has been really fun with me and Mary Kate because we were pregnant with three times together.
So Ella and Honey are a month apart.
They were really like a week and a half apart, you know, during our pregnancies, but then Ella was early and Honey was late.
And then Wellesie and Haven are three months apart.
Yeah.
And then I just had kit when you had found out that you're, well, actually, I was like a month.
Yeah, like I was like nine months pregnant or eight months pregnant, whatever you found out you were pregnant.
So this has been so fun.
Well, I just had Kit.
So I was doing nothing except for being home and feeding her and, you know, being postpartum.
And I knew you had your doctor's appointment.
So I looked at find my friends and I saw you were there and you were there forever.
And I was like, why are they still there?
Why are you still there?
So weird.
Why are you still there?
Then I see your location and you go to where mom is.
And I'm like, at the eye doctor.
Why should be going to where mom is at the eye doctor?
And I was like, oh gosh.
Like I just didn't know what like that could have been.
And I was like, hope nothing bad happened, all this stuff.
So then I'm like tracking you for like way too long.
I'm doing nothing.
I'm just sitting at home.
So I'm like, okay.
So I'm like, maybe I should text her.
And I'd text you.
I'm like, hey, like, how's your doctor's appointment go?
And I don't hear anything.
That's your location.
Get home.
And I'm like, this is weird.
And then I hear my door open.
And then I hear, where Sadie?
And I was like, oh, my gosh, she's having twins.
Like, it hit me.
I was like, she's having twins.
Oh, I'm feeding kit.
I'm literally laying in bed feeding kit.
And you open the door in your video.
And there was supposed to be like, oh.
So we could pose that video censored.
But that was like the most shocking, hilarious thing.
And I've been, like, waiting for that news all day.
Where are you?
I was in the kitchen or the dining room.
Yeah, then Mary Kate stormed in.
And I was, oh, hey, and she said, where's Sadie?
I was like, oh, good to see you.
Staying in the bedroom.
Well, tell about when you told Mom, because that was the funniest.
Oh, that was so funny.
He's back there right now.
I wonder if she was listening to us.
It was so funny because we looked up.
We get in the car and we FaceTime my parents.
We FaceTime my sister, which they thought I was joking because Kelly has twins.
You know, like, what are the odds?
higher. But we get in the car, we tell my parents, we tell my sister, and then we look up your mom's
location and she's at the eye doctor. And so we're like, let's just go to the eye doctor and see
if we can find her there. So we pull up and did you tell her we were coming or what? I guess she
knew we were coming. I don't think she did. No, I didn't until we got there. But it was so
funny because she comes out wearing the black glass. Her eyes are like dying. Her eyes are like
dilated, her pupils are like huge.
She like can't see.
So I didn't know.
Like I remember just pulling out the ultrasound and we were like, look.
You looked at her.
But her eyes are like huge so she can't see.
Is that, is that two?
Is that two?
She thought it was four.
It was so funny.
Turns out she could see and it was so fun.
It was so funny.
Our family has zero patience to tell.
Yeah.
Y'all like FaceTime and then go to the eye dodger and that was me when I found out
I was pregnant with Haven and I FaceTime mom.
And then everyone's like, why would you face it on where you lived like 10 minutes away?
At the time, we weren't in the neighborhood.
And I was like, I don't know.
I couldn't wait.
I was so excited.
I know.
So that makes me feel better that y'all rushed.
Oh, yeah.
We were so excited.
So excited and panicked both.
Yeah, you needed a little bit of like encouraging.
Like, you got this.
Yeah.
I remember I sat there.
You had to leave.
You had somewhere to go.
And I sat there.
We sat there.
in the eye doctor, like, um, waiting room and just talked it out. Well, I remember, and this was
sweet. Like, I think there's wisdom in this. You were like not wanting to talk about it for a little
bit, like telling people you having twins because you were like, I don't want people to say,
like, how are you going to do it? Yeah. Yeah. We told y'all immediately, like parents, siblings,
like, and like best friend, like, you know, in the first day or two. But then we didn't tell
anybody else for a while because I wanted to make sure I felt confident about it.
it before because when you tell people you're having twins and especially when they're
your fourth and fifth it's like they're panicked on your behalf yeah you know like oh my gosh
how are you going to do you know and I just at first I was like I don't need anybody who's not
going to just be super excited for us to say anything I think it's smart it's really smart
because yeah it's true people get panic on your behalf and it's like well it's happening you
know this is what the Lord has given us so he'll
give us the capacity to do it.
And there's like no, it's just no point in getting all, you know, freaked out about it.
Because look at you now.
Like, I love how you said, John.
Like, now you can't even imagine, like, having just one.
And it's so sweet.
Like, I always seen you walk up with the two girls.
It's crazy.
Like, still still, still.
Or how old?
No.
Four months.
And still I'm like, I can't live there's two, you know.
But it's so fun.
And it's been so sweet to watch your family grow.
We really, what I found out when we had the twins, when we were pregnant with them,
you were pregnant with them, not we, is that the excitement that people had for us
and things people would say went full circle.
So like when you have your first, like some people are very excited and some people are like,
oh my goodness, I'm so sorry.
Like, you know, like some people are like, oh, it's awesome.
You have a baby.
And some people are like, oh, why, you're having a baby.
Like your life's over.
Your life's over, you know, and like people can be negative.
Your second, like everyone's excited about it.
Everyone's like, oh, yeah, your second.
Yeah, that's great.
Your third, people are like, wow, okay, yeah, wow.
It starts to become question for other people.
It's like everyone's kind of like middle.
Like, there's not really the extremes.
Everyone's like, wow, third.
You're out numbered now.
You got it.
You're out number now.
But then your fifth, you start getting to like,
fourth and fifth.
Yeah, fourth and fifth.
You start getting to like, oh my.
goodness what that's terrible i'm so sorry how are you going to do that like i get a car are you
yeah how are you going to carry them do you drive a limousine yeah it's like the like the excitement
level goes like all the way back around to like oh wow five it's so true i doubt many listeners
to this listen to duck car room but it was a joke to duck car room but uh i doubt we have
the same fan base there's going to be overlap with some they'll be overlap
Somebody's like, oh, I heard that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Our brother-in-law recently asked him, like, if he drives a limousine and we were like,
do you know him?
You live in the same neighborhood.
Have you ever seen a limo?
No.
That's so funny.
Yeah, that's actually so true.
Okay, so for those who watched the show to,
Doug Dynasty and the revival,
y'all picked up some new things like chickens and beekeeping,
which we were also beekeepers on the show,
but we passed it off to y'all.
and that's still the case.
However, we are neighbors,
so we are not keeping the bees,
but we see the bees,
and hopefully we'll get some money out of this deal.
How has it been raising chickens in bees and all the things,
and do you want to expand to doing more things like that?
This is all John Luke.
Yeah, we're in the expansion phase.
Oh, no.
Mary Gates, like,
we're in the completely overwhelmed and overtaken while John Luke's head camp,
please.
Yeah, we'll go to camp too,
For sure.
Yes.
The V's and the chicken, the whole Robertson compound farm production was going really well in the spring.
And then once we had the twins and once I started Camp Chioca, the summer, the animal production level tanked.
Yeah.
Went way down.
That's okay.
Can you get it back right here?
So we're going to, yeah, we're going to kind of revamp in the fall.
Okay.
They're also alive though, right?
yes I do have about 15 more chickens that I did
what six months ago
I just keep getting in the expansion face
they did get out of control and the bees
one kind of died in the ice storm
so they're on a rebound too
I didn't actually knew that
ice storm was brutal we're more
all of them or just one of them like the hive
one of them like one died one kind of made it but
struggling so
That ice storm.
I guess we're really in the rebuilding phase.
Is the queen still there?
The expansion phase.
I think the queen made it, though.
That ice storm is Haven's Roman Empire.
It is.
Every day, she's like, remember whenever there is an ice storm?
And she loves to bring it up.
And anytime she sees a tree branch and the ground,
she's like, the ice storm made that tree fall.
She has mentioned it almost every single day.
Almost every single day.
It really stuck in her brain, but it was bad.
And it killed the mayha trees because we didn't get mayha jelly.
this year, the bees, we don't have honey.
Gosh, that thing stole from us.
It did. Next year, we're back, maybe.
It's crazy.
Really, yeah.
Thank you.
Summer hair is kind of its own thing.
Ponytails, messy buns, braids, all of it.
And when it's hot outside, I just need my hair out of the way.
But I also want to feel good and look good,

I am excited for you to get back from camp
as I know Mary Kay is.
I am excited to see you more,
but also we're ready for some more eggs
around this neighborhood
because that was nice.
Those farm fresh eggs were great.
But tell us a little bit about camp. So you've been at camp, which is always crazy in the summer,
because y'all do have five kids, and you're at camp a lot and running a whole summer camp,
which is wild. But how has camp show been this year? It's been awesome. So we've been going nine weeks now.
It's the ninth week. I've been out there. And as of filming this, the last week.
Wow.
So, but it's been going great. We've had two weeks of staff training, two high school age weeks,
two elementary age weeks, and now we're, we've got about 165 middle schoolers out there
running around.
So it's been fun.
How many students throughout the whole summer?
About 1,400 overall.
Wow.
Yeah.
That's amazing.
That's awesome.
You go do two high schools.
Two high schools, two elementary age and two middle schools.
And then sportsman's camp, which is like all hunting and fishing for high schoolers.
And day camp.
And every, yeah, and every week we have a day camp for five to eight-year-olds.
And you and two mama.
Yep, me and Two Mama rocking it.
She's holding down the fort right now.
Yeah, she's there right now while I'm here.
Two Mama has been at camp for 51 summers, right?
Yep.
That's crazy.
That's awesome.
That's some longevity right there.
Okay, so one of the things you were talking about generally that I think would be really
cool for this podcast.
We always talk about good advice and being better people in the world.
You interview a lot of counselors to look for who's going to be the camp counselors
each year and that matters because camp counselors can have a huge impact on kids lives.
I still remember some of my counselors from camp that had such a big impact on me.
What are some of the things and qualities that you look for when you're interviewing camp
counselors?
Because I think there's a lot of people who listen to this podcast who probably are interested
in being a camp counselor or even if not.
I think that there's a lot of things in that you can just look for in your life.
That's going to help you be a better person.
That's going to help you be a better mom.
going to help you be a better friend, a better employee, all those things. So what are some things
that you look for and that you've seen people like thrive in in that job? Yeah, for counselors,
I hire 60 college age staff every year. And usually about half are either campers or like
former staff that are returning. And so I'll hire about 30 new counselors. And I've interviewed,
this year I think I interviewed 85
and but there's been years I've interviewed up to
150 and higher about 20 to 30
out of that. So I interview a lot of
evil every single year.
And I think the thing that I look for most
in a camp counselor is
how good are you
at making friends?
And I think that's like the, when it gets down to it
It's like I'm trying to hire someone who I know is good at making friends.
And that's not like, that doesn't mean like a big personality, you know, or like outgoing person necessarily.
What that really means is are they confident in themselves?
And are they interested in people?
and do they have other friends and interests and hobbies?
Like, I think that, so when I'm asking questions of them,
like I'm asking questions like, you know,
are you any clubs?
Do you have any interests?
Do you tell me about your friends?
How would your friends describe?
Tell me about your family.
Tell me about, like, your siblings, you know.
And kind of what I'm looking for in that is them to say things like,
oh yeah like this past year
I got into
knitting and I
like joined this like club
and we were like doing that
we're like oh yeah I've you know
I play for the guys it's like yeah
this year I'm doing like earmules
and you know I'm on the softball team and like
so and so and so and so and
just that like interest
and love for things
and to do those things with other people
I think it's such an indicator of like
they're going to be good at making friends
with the campers and with the other staff.
That's cool.
And I think for like the,
the lesson there,
the thing,
because I think about every day,
like how do these campers,
how can these campers and the staff become better friends?
My whole mission at Camp Chioca is
provide a place where campers can grow closer to each other into God.
And like,
everything is geared around them just making friends with each other
and growing their relationship with God.
And to do this,
that you have to have like a central um uh interest that everyone is like drawing everyone in together so for camp
that's just being in the same cabin that's just being you know whatever game you know we're doing at the
time um for life i think that's like some other interest or hobby that you're like getting into and that
you're doing.
And so when I see counselors, I can do that and can find something that's interesting
and ask questions about it, I'm like, yeah, that's good.
And for people who are like, how do I make friends?
How do I keep, you know, how do I make friends in college?
It's like, it really kind of just comes down to that is like finding something interesting
and learning about it and then finding other people and talking about it.
Yeah.
That's so good.
I love that.
It's actually interesting how much similarity you have in.
in camp and how I am with all things L.O.
With L.O. Conference, our big thing is like, I mean, even on this podcast, I always say
be a sister and a friend of those. You don't have one. It's all about being friends.
And I always talk about at a conference. Like, we want people to grow in the relationship
with the Lord and with each other. And that's like such a big thing. It's like, yes, we want you
to come. And really, the most important thing is that you grow in your relationship with
the Lord. But the second thing is that you make friends with other people because relationships
are so important in doing life together. And I,
Actually, I was looking for people who are going to run because this year at a conference,
we're doing our merch different.
So instead of just like coming and buying merch, we're doing like a whole experience,
like a store.
And the goal is that people have a good experience that when they come and they get their thing,
like they leave and they feel beautiful and like they feel like confident.
And I was looking for the girls who are going to run it.
And I said, whoever's going to run it has to be confident in who they are.
That's who I'm looking for.
Like friendly, confident in who they are because I want them to be able to hype up.
the girls. And if you're not confident in who you are, then you can't do that for other people.
If, like, they're insecure and they're thinking about what they look like, then they're not
going to be able to, like, see the other girls who walk in the room. But if they give off confidence
and they give off, you know, being able to see other people in the room and they're not, you know,
nervous about that, they can walk up to some other girl and be like, you look amazing. You're,
you're so beautiful and all that stuff. And so I do think that, like, there's so many similarities
in that. And I love how you said, like, they got to be, like, confident in who they are. And
and be willing to like be interested in other people. And I think that that is just such a gift
in this world if you're able to be like secure in yourself so that you can see other people around
you because when you get insecure, you go internal and you're not able to see people around
you or, you know, connect with others because you're so thinking about all yourself, you know.
And so I love that. Some of the questions, and I want to get to this, we have some voicemails
that we're going to get to, but a lot of people are asking about, like, making friends in motherhood
because it's so hard sometimes. It's like, you have kids and life is crazy, but I was thinking
about that. That's so true, like, finding some interest point, even if it is overwhelmed by
motherhood. That could be like your point of contact. It's like, oh, okay, we're all in this
together. Let's just get together. The kids are going to be crazy. You understand the stage of
life. We're all in it together. And then you just enter the chaos together. And that's kind of
fun. Like, me and you do that all the time. We'll be at the pool and it's like, well, it's crazy,
at least we're crazy together, you know?
And, like, you just kind of have to find people who are in those similar stages of life
and just dive in with each other.
And I think the goal would be that you could encourage one another within that
and know that you're not alone.
So I want to get to some of those voicemails.
Liv, do you have some of those?
Hi, my name is Katie, and I'm a mom of three, and I just love listening to your podcast
and hearing the joy that you find in motherhood.
My advice would be how to build solid relationships as a mom and as an
adult. I feel like it's so much harder to build deep, meaningful relationships when you haven't lived
life with people the way that you do in high school or summer camp or anything like that. And I find
that it can be so isolating being a mom, especially of three at 24 years old. So I'd love your
advice on that about just like seeking intentional relationships and building deep roots in those
relationships in order to have them grow strong. Thanks.
Megan, do you want to speak into it? Yeah. I feel like this year,
Listening to, we listened through the voicemails this morning. And I was like, this year for us has been so crazy. And even like going into having five kids and twins and I had a really difficult pregnancy. And going into camp right now, like we have had one of the more chaotic years of our lives. So it feels funny. I feel like even just to be giving the advice and answering the questions right now, you know, and I feel like we've just been in a whole new season. And even with for me, like friendships.
moving back here, it can be hard.
And I feel like even for me right now, it's a little difficult because sometimes friends are going through different seasons.
And two of my closest friends, one moved last year, you know that.
But we met in motherhood.
You know, we met when we both had two very young babies.
Like I had two, she had two.
And they were very close together.
And we would just, I don't know, I feel like I had been praying for a friend and she had been praying for a friend.
And I do think the first step is just like,
literally just prayer, like just asking like, God, you know, will you send someone that way?
Some days with little kids feels like one long stretch of snacks spills in somebody asking for something.
But sitting down to have dinner together has a way of bringing us all back to the very moment.
That's one reason. I'm a good rancher subscriber. I love having my freezer restocked and ready to go.
Having quality meat already waiting at home makes eating meals on the table so much easier.
Good ranchers partners with local farms and ranches to deliver,
100% American meat straight to your door. Their meat is pasture raised with no antibiotics and no added
hormone. So I feel good about what I'm serving my family, whether it's a quick chicken nuggets
for the girls or a steak for us. Man, everything from Good Ranchers is great. Good Ranchers also

we use everything we get from Good Ranchers, and I'm waiting on that subscription for the next week,
because I love it.
We love the chicken nuggets, like I mentioned.
Their bacon is such good quality and so good.
We love their steaks.
Their chicken is just so nice to have great chicken in the freezer always.
And now for a limited time, you can get $50 off your first Good Ranchers order.
That means that you build your own box for as little as $1.29, which is great when you think about how much meat you're getting.

And remember, that's code whoa for $50 off, but you can also get done.

That's good ranchers.com, American Meat delivered.
And then I think opening up your house, one, like we had a ton of friends and also having to
be patient with people, like sometimes they can't make it.
Another one of my closest friends, she's in a season right now where they've been sick
a lot, they've been moving, and one, being patient with people, you know, giving them grace
to be in a season where they can't show up as much.
if that makes sense.
And I think keep inviting people, you know, keep inviting and opening up your home.
Keep open up your own home, be the inviter.
And then also in your church, like being in your church and then being in, like, I'll take
my kids to the library.
Like we were in a season where we were able to do that, you know, and seeing people at the library.
But it's not always just the easy, quick, you know, answer.
And sometimes, like, you can be in a season where you may just have to be waiting for a little bit
and just being okay and trusting like it ebbs and it flows and you're not going to be alone forever
and you know but also being open handed with people moving or being busy.
And that's so good.
I think it's a little bit more complex whenever you're older and whenever you have kids and
your friends have kids and it's just a different stage of life, you know.
And so I think on one hand, if you have, I mean, that's an opportunity for you and your husband
to get close.
It's an opportunity for you and your family to get close.
but then also it is worth fighting for
and the fight sometimes looks like
being patient with friends
the fight looks like continuing to invite
even when it doesn't work out
you keep having to look for a new date
and then as far as like bonding
I think that you know because she was saying
it was so much easier like in high school
or summer camp and yes of course
because you have that common interest
and you have all the time in the world
you know you don't have as much responsibility
you're just there and one of the
really sweet moments I have with my friends
recently because when we became friends, like it took us like years to get deep on the level
that like, and it's funny because there's clearly more depth from the beginning than maybe
you had in high school, but it doesn't feel like that because you haven't spent as much
time together. So it took a few years for us to be like, oh, like these are, these are my people,
you know. But then it was funny because this year, and we've been friends for like seven years now
and are very, very, very close, but we haven't like been on a trip together. And so we went to
Dallas and for my birthday and the guys go on trips for like hunting and different stuff.
So we're like, this is our time.
Like the guys are keeping the kids.
We're going to be crazy, you know.
And our definition of crazy is not the world leaves since a crazy.
Everyone on the trip was like had reasons why, I mean, most of us were either nursing or
pregnant and all the things.
And so, I mean, our definition of crazy is obviously different than maybe what you hear
when I say that.
But we were just thinking like, oh, we're going to stay late.
and like we're going to do all these dance videos
and we're going to do this and that.
Well, the first night we're there
and we just started talking
and we taught for hours and hours
and then someone ended up just like
talking about how much she's struggling
in motherhood and in fear
and then she just like starts crying
and we all just like lay hands on her,
we pray for her.
Then another mom starts telling us
how like she just feels like she like has like lost herself
in a sense and like hasn't felt like fun
like she used to be
and then we like prayed over her
and it was just like so,
rich and so good. And then she was like, I felt like insecure to say that because we've been saying like,
oh, we're going to have so much fun when we come on this trip. And she's like, I don't want to like
bring the fun down. And we just stopped and we were like, no, like this is what we need in this
stage of life. Like this is fun. This is so filling. And like we're leaving here being better moms,
better wives, better friends. And I think that like sometimes you have this expectation like you're going to
go back to how things used to be, but you're not going to go back. Like, you're a new person
now. And that doesn't mean you're less than the person you used to be. You're probably even more
of the person you're meant to be. It's just a new stage. And so I think you have to stop expecting
relationships to look like they did in seasons of life that you're not in anymore. It's going to
look different. It's going to probably look more mature. And that doesn't mean it's less fun. It's
probably more filling and more what you need.
It's just different.
And knowing that everyone else is different too because you're 28, not 18, you know.
So I think it's also coming to that realization that that's okay, that it's different.
And if we even tried to be who we were 18, we'd be like, this is weird.
Like we don't actually want to go back to that.
We want something deeper and better.
But we had a really good talk about that in Dallas because it was almost like this
acknowledgement of, man, this is, yeah, it doesn't look the same and it shouldn't. Yeah. Like,
that would be weird if it did, you know. Just about friendships as a whole and making friends as an adult.
The two things that you have to have to make friends is that shared interest and time. And I think that
one thing that we as, once we get older out of college and, you know, 23 and up,
We think about our friends in high school and college and we're like how like how can I do that again?
And we remember all the good times and all the things.
And we think that it was like those big moments that like made us friends for life.
But it actually wasn't.
They did a study.
It was for kids.
And it was basically like how do kids and what is an indicator of like a good parent-child relationship.
And what they found was that it wasn't quality time.
It was just quantity time.
Just it doesn't matter what you're doing.
It's just time spent in the same room, basically, is what, like, binds people together.
And for us, I think that's, like, we think that, like, to make France, it's got to be this, like, huge thing.
It's, like, these big moments of, like, these trips or vacations or, like, this dinner where the house is perfect and the food's great and the music's right.
and like everything's good.
But it's really like that does matter
and that happens in friendship.
But like the real indicator of like if you're going to be friends or not
is just how much time are you spending together?
Yeah, who's there?
Like just lower your expectation of like what a good time is
and like your friendship will start to bloom naturally.
And I think Christian does I think a really good job at this
and like our friendship over the past years is always,
he'll always be like, hey, let's ride together.
or like if we're going somewhere, it's like, oh yeah, I'll jump in the car with you or you can ride with me or like let's go see this movie or like do whatever.
And it's the thing that has made us our relationship grow is we do fun trips.
But it's really like just the time sitting in the car or waiting to do something.
Times that we're just like sitting there.
We might not even be like talking.
We're just hanging out.
And then like those big moments like flow naturally from that.
True. So when we're making friends as adults, it's like the way that it, the thing that, the way it looks of putting yourself out there might just be like being slightly inconvenienced by taking one car or just it being a 30 minute thing at the library rather than while you're doing something else.
Or just like a phone call while you're cleaning up or whatever instead of thinking like, oh, it's got to be this like dinner on Saturday night.
Yeah, that's so true.
That's so good.
That's so sweet.
Thanks for saying that.
Yeah.
I think for me, I think something that I feel like I've struggled with a little bit is
because I think the thing with friendships, it's like, yes, quantity time, quality time,
having a commonality of like, yes, I'm friends with people that are parents.
I think, you know, like for me and fatherhood, like being close with other guys that are
walking through similar seasons and having kids.
But I think sometimes you, at least I feel like I've fallen victim to this, is like
you can neglect sometimes the friendships that people can't relate to the situation that
you're in, to where it's like my friend doesn't have kids.
And it's like, I need someone now in this season where someone can relate to what I'm going
through.
And I think that's beneficial.
But I also think that life is just life, you know.
And I think there are conversations that I can have with people.
some of my guy friends that are still single,
they don't have kids that can,
I can still be super close with them.
So I think sometimes you can convince yourself
that those friendships maybe are less important now
and you need someone that can maybe relate more
to the season that you're in.
And like, yes, that can be true,
but also those friends are still friends.
All friends are beneficial.
And just because I'm probably closer with people,
you know, like John Luke and like my other friends
that are, we have kids.
kids our lives are crazy like I can relate more to that that doesn't mean that I can't also be friends
with people that are in just a completely different life circumstance and I feel like in my life I've
I don't I don't want to say neglected that but I've looked maybe I don't I don't even say to look down
upon that but I've looked differently at that I've been like well that's probably not going to be
as helpful for me right now because they can't relate to what I'm going through and I think that can be
true but I also don't think that that makes that friendship any less important so
The person that asked the question, I guess what I'm trying to say is, yes, I think it's important
to find friends that you can relate to you in motherhood, that have children, that you can
relate to on those specific things, but also if you happen to meet somebody that is in a
completely different life circumstance, they can be just as helpful for you in that season.
And they can just be a friend.
So I think sometimes you don't have to look that hard to find the perfect person.
Yeah.
It's like just find somebody that can, that you can share things with, that can encourage you, that can challenge you, and let that be your friendship.
And right back at them, too, because it's not just about what's helpful for you.
It goes both ways.
And, like, just having fun together.
Just being around somebody, just not doing life alone is so important.
And, yeah, I think friends of all different stages and generations even is so helpful and such a beautiful thing.
It helps you just see the world bigger than yourself and bigger than your own reality, you know.
so good.
All right, next one.
Hi, Sadie.
I just want to say thank you so much for all that you and your team do.
You've had such a positive impact on me in my walk with the Lord last few years.
I just got engaged a few weeks ago and I'm full steam ahead with wedding planning,
which has been really fun, but also a little overwhelming.
I would love advice for planning a wedding that is focused on faith and family and is just a memorable day.
I've also heard the advice to keep the Lord at the center of your marriage.
And I was loved to hear advice how you and your family practice that every day and how I can incorporate that in my marriage in the next coming year.
Thank you so much.
So good.
Okay, y'all have been married the longest.
I don't have been married 10 years?
11.
11 years.
Dang.
11 years.
That's awesome.
I love that part of the question about, like, how to keep God at the center of your marriage.
Because I actually feel like a lot of people ask that.
who send in voicemails or send in any kind of note,
it's like, okay, I hear y'all saying that, like,
that's the most important thing,
but how do you actually practically make that the most important thing?
So I thought that was a really good call out.
And also I just want to say to everyone sending in voice memos,
this morning listening to the voice messages to prepare for this podcast,
you know, normally our team since about 15,
just to kind of listen through, think through on the day.
And it literally made me cry.
I was doing my mask here.
I had to stop because I was crying.
And Mary Kate said it made them emotional too,
because it's so sweet that you would trust us with these big questions.
These are not small things that y'all are asking about when it comes to motherhood
and being a good wife and having a strong marriage and friendship and all those different things
that y'all are navigating through in life.
Those are great things to call your friends and ask, but that you would call us and ask means
so much.
And so just wanted to pause and say thank you for that trust.
And we are always going to do our best to answer to the best of our ability and lean
into what the Lord has to say.
but I just thought that was a really beautiful question too.
So you want to speak into it a little bit?
I'm going to start it off?
Yes, sir.
Do you have something?
I'm still thinking.
Okay, I'll start.
I think one thing about keeping God the center of your marriage,
because that is such like a vague concept.
You know, I feel like that is definitely one of those things that like you hear at church
or you see online, but it's like, what does it actually mean?
It doesn't really mean anything, you know?
And I think that for one way I take that is to keep God at the center of your own personal individual life.
Yeah.
Like I know for our marriage to be the best that can be, like I've got to stay on track as far as like we're in Bible,
worshiping, being in church, being part of community, praying.
Like I'm trying to orientate myself into the will of God, and I know and trust that Maricott is also doing that.
And like that's going to bring us together.
So it's not necessarily like us, you know, like everything we talk about has to be about God.
Or every single day we have to be worshipping or reading a ton of scripture or doing a devotional or whatever necessarily.
But it's like we as a team are, know that we're trying to, our ultimate goal is to bring our kids closer to Christ and make our home a good, positive Jesus-filled environment.
Yeah, I think what even kind of piggyback going off of that.
It's, it's more of like a, kind of like we said, it's more of like an ethereal thing and less of like, so tomorrow morning we're going to get up at six.
You're going to light a candle.
we're going to have our Bibles open
We would fail
We're going to pray and worship
But I'm saying like
When you think about keeping God at the center
Like that's what you think of
Like moment
You think of the moment
Kind of back to like the quantity
You know quality thing
It's not just like the big moments
The trip moments
The intentional devotional times
So I'm saying you think about the Bible reading plan
And the candle and the coffee
And the worship on the TV
But for me
Like my first thought was
Simple things of like
If I'm doing the dishes
and I have an insecure thought or something, I need to confess something.
It's like me coming to you and saying something.
Like that's keeping God at the center.
Or like you saying something to me and like how do we work through this as a marriage in marriage of like sharpening each other, confessing things, praying with one another?
So for me, like even having those thoughts and like I need to talk to you about this.
Like that's keeping God at the center and like exercising self-control, exercising patience.
It's like, you know, talking through those things of life, at least for me, that's how I view keeping God at the center.
Because it's like the moment I neglect, I need to confess this, but I'm just going to just hoard it in and not say something.
Or I'm just going to let this jealous thought run wild.
Or I'm going to let this envious thought or whatever.
It's like the moment I just suppress that, that's me not putting God at the center of our marriage.
Because I know then I'm not leading you the best that I could lead you.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think kind of like what both you all said, it's pursuing.
God individually, you know, it's like if you pursue God to pursue each other, you know,
so it's like, okay, and I think it's so important that God is at the center of your marriage,
that's such an important thing because there's going to be so many things in life that are
going to want to get you off track and like going separate ways from each other.
But the commonality in marriage, the common interest and not even interest, but like bond
that you kind of keep going about to is your relationship with the Lord.
is the will of the Lord, the fruit of the Spirit, like you talked about,
like wanting to have self-control, love, joy, peace, patience, like in our home,
all those things.
Like, those are centered on God.
If we didn't have God as a centerpiece, then, like, we could just choose our own flesh
and we could just, you know, not want to forgive each other and say, you know what,
this isn't serving me anymore.
This isn't that.
And you can just go totally selfish with it.
But if it's like, no, this is what, you know, what,
what God brought together, let no man separate.
Like, we're going to keep coming back to the Lord.
And so God, give me the grace to go into the next moment.
You know, give us the redemption from what we're walking from.
Give us, restore the joy in our home.
Give us peace.
Like, bring us together.
And the Holy Spirit will do that and work on both of your hearts to bring you together.
And it's an amazing thing.
It's that selflessness.
It's like, I've had a long day.
It's like, the last thing I want to do right now is be like, how are you doing?
it's like let's have this talk about your feeling.
I'm saying like,
I'm not saying I really.
That was more of a generic thing.
In a hypothetical.
I was,
I was a hypothetical.
I was,
that wasn't like a,
this is my circumstance.
I'm saying like that's,
for me,
it's like that selflessness of like,
yes,
saying I'm sorry.
It's laying in bed at night
and not laying the sun,
the sun go down in your anger.
It's like I can just fall asleep
and hopefully tomorrow wakes up better
or I can be like,
no, I'm going to pursue you.
I'm going to say,
sorry, will you forget me?
And like, let's talk about this.
How are you doing?
Like, that's, so I'm saying, to me, that's what it looks like in a more true real-life way.
It's true.
And not like the Bible study and the, like, all the stuff.
It's like.
It's a relationship.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Yeah.
Well, I was just thinking, like, in a real life way because when you, I feel like, thinking back on myself, like, young and college, early marriage, you have all the time in the world, you know, I mean, you have so much time.
when you don't have kids.
And your relationship with God can look a certain way.
But then if you think that's all it is when life comes along, you know, and knocks all
of that away, you know, you're like, it can really start to make you doubt.
Like, oh, and I think in the past, like, feel bad about, oh, I'm not doing this.
I'm not doing this.
Because it doesn't, I'm not doing having a good relationship because it doesn't look like, you know,
X, Y, Z.
But it really does.
I feel like right now, and like I was speaking early into,
I feel like having twins, having five kids this past year,
and we came out of filming the show, straight into my pregnancy,
like, it has just been a whirlwind of a year.
And just like, I don't know, a lot of change, different season.
And so much of my relationship now is just really during the day, like,
God help me with this.
Like, just this prayer here, prayer here, prayer here.
And I do.
I love, I get up early, I love having.
my time by myself with God, you know. But it can just look different in different seasons. But if you
have a certain idea of it's got to look like this, you can go through a hard season and then just
feel a lot of shame of like, well, I'm not doing this. I'm not doing this when really God's just
just going to be with you. Let me come into it. Let me come into it and be with you. And it asked me,
you know, look to me. It doesn't have to be complicated and crazy. But at the same time, like,
even if you only got 15 minutes before a baby wakes up, like,
this time in the word, like, oh my gosh,
I can be so encouraged by something that God will give me
in 15 minutes, you know,
and that can change my whole attitude going into a day.
So true.
So true, that's so good.
On the, like, you as a couple,
you got a little choked up on something.
You got a little choked up on something.
There was a glitch.
I had a glitch.
There's been this whole thing at K.
of tangent.
There's been this whole thing
at camp where all the day campers
have been saying that I'm AI
and I'm like a robot.
And like every time they're like, he's not real, he's
AI.
So I've been doing this thing with the day campers
when I walk by and I like
pretend to like walk into a tree
or like not know what I'm doing
or like make like a weird move.
Like I'm like glitching.
Like I'm like that's so funny.
That was the overflow.
That was yeah.
Like that just came out.
And then we yeah.
And then we had water day and I was like
pretty like if I got wet I would like short circuit and so
funny this just makes me laugh I don't want to like
don't forget what you're going to say but this is so funny
so I was with some of the um girl counselors there at two mama salas
and um two mama was we're talking about Justin Bieber back in the day
and she was like yeah and John Luke used to look like Justin Bieber a lot like
Justin Bieber and the counselor was like oh no don't say that because I think
Justin Bieber is cute I'm like I can't think
John Lurk is cute.
It made me laugh because I was like, oh my gosh.
Like, they look at you like you're old.
Oh, I'm fully missed for John Luke now.
That's so funny.
She was like, no, I can't.
Because Justin Bieber is cute.
It's so funny.
So you say Angelik's not cute.
Like, okay, thanks.
That made me laugh.
But it was because it was like John Luke is old to me.
That's crazy.
I'm an unk, bro.
You're an unk.
official
I don't know
they really started calling me
Mr.
One of the council was like
Do you want me to say
Mr. John Luke or just John Luke?
I was like
Please just John Luke
Please
I'm begging you
That's so funny
One more funny
One more funny campaign
That you have to share
Since you know
They think you're AI
You literally got bit by a snake
This year
Do you have a scar?
Yes
A lot of snake encounters
I've caught a lot of animals
this year
I do have a scar
Like that's no chill
Yeah
That's breaking news
Like
Well and the sad thing is
Is that it bit you
As you were like releasing
I was like trying to teach
This is so funny as part
Is that you're telling kids
That they're safe
It's like I caught the snake
And because they were like
Freaking out about it
And so I'm holding it
And I'm like
If you're just really calm around them
They're not gonna bite you
And it's like wrapped up
I'm like
Tell them like nature facts about it
You know
And everything
I was like all right
Now I'm going to release it into the wild.
And I'm like, go to release it.
I'm trying to like pull it off my arm and it just bites the crap out of me.
There's like so much blood.
Like, because all there's like needle fangs, there's like so much blood.
And like the campers are like freaking out.
And I'm like, calm with them.
That's hilarious.
I just like yank it off my arm, throat in the woods.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You thought it was going to be one of those palm moments, but it was, it wasn't.
I know.
I was like, there's just gentle nature of creatures.
And if you're like, it understands me, it knows.
It's not going to hurt it and everything.
It's just like, wha, wah, like, chew it on my arm.
It's just like blood giving it.
Snakes have been a hot topic in our home lately because there's been so many.
And that big snake that came by that one night.
And this is just so funny because the kids cannot stop talking about it because I scared them.
Because normally I try to like sugarcoat things.
But there's a.
problem. There's a phenomenon happening in movies where snakes are now the good guy. So like,
you know, bad guys, the snakes like becoming a good guy. And then Zootopia, Gary the snake is like
literally telling everyone snakes are nice. And then no fee the snake and little bear. So the girls think
snakes are great. So this massive copperhead looking like snake comes right on the road and
they're just wanting to jump out and look at it. And I'm like, no, do not get out of the money.
Do not even get close to that thing. Like blah, blah, blah. And then honey's like, well, what would
happen if we do? And like for two seconds, I was like, like, for two seconds, I was like,
like, do I tell them the truth or do I lie?
And I was like, it would kill you.
And then honey's like, I would die.
I was like, well, maybe not.
Maybe not.
We could pray.
We could take you to the hospital, but it would be bad.
And then Christian gets off the buggy, grabs the trailer hitch, like chunks it at the
snake, kills it.
Jolute comes flying.
Were you on your bike or what were you on that day?
I think you should run.
I think he was running.
You're running with a machete.
Jolololik has a machete.
Wax the head off the snake.
And then they're like holding it for the girls
And they're like
We just saw the snake that we could have died from
And John Luke
You know cut its head off and daddy through his thing
So it's been a very dramatic thing in our home lately
The ice storm and the snake
It's definitely our Roman empires at home
And you live to tell a snake bite story
But you were going to give us one final good way
Before you glitched you were going
You're going into a strong final
Sendoff in marriage
This is just like, yeah, just let the suspense build for the final point.
Come back from your glitch.
No, I was going to say, taking it back to marriage and you as a couple,
because we talked about, you know, individually being, working on your relationship with God.
I think what it looks like to orientate your marriage.
Orient.
Orientation.
He's not AI.
Now I'm really like glitched.
Yeah.
No, to put Christ in your marriage, what that does not look like is putting something like making your team goal as a marriage being something like money.
Like we're going to spend all of our time working.
And then you're not speaking time with each other.
You're not going to church.
You're not hanging out with friends because it's like I got to work on Saturday.
You're getting home late.
You know, like things like that.
Then you're basing kind of your marriage on like,
how much money are we making?
Yeah.
How much can I work?
How much can I not?
And when that number starts going down, you start to fight.
Yeah.
Or like kid activities, like, kid sports.
Like we're going to make every baseball game.
They've got gymnastics and art and, you know,
jujitsu and whatever.
And all of a sudden it's like your whole life is just consumed with getting the kids to places.
And then your mayor starts to fail because you're not spending time with each other.
It's great.
You know.
It's kind of like.
when you say, how do I keep God at the center of my marriage?
It's like something will be at the center of your marriage if it's not God.
Right.
So it's like asking yourself, okay, if God's not the center, what is at the center?
Is it money?
Is it my kids?
Is it this?
And anything that's not God is going to get you off balance, you know?
And it's not going to lead you to that unity you're looking for.
Right.
And I mean, there's times where, you know, there's seasons in life that you're going to be more focused on one thing the other.
But like at the end of the day, if it's like you find yourself like, we're just constantly
fighting about this thing.
It's like, why is that the most important part of our marriage?
Yeah.
Like if Christ is at the center of our marriage, if our kids are good, if we, you know,
have a good community, have a peaceful house, like, no matter your money stayed or if your
kids are making all their games or if whatever, you have, you know, you're getting to do your
hobbies or your friendships or whatever, it's like, okay, we're like fine as people.
our marriage is fine.
Like this thing we're fighting about
isn't even important in the first place.
It's so good.
What's that Teja song that I love so much?
Like Christ, when I'm standing Christ, I know Christ.
I have to look it up.
Oh, this is a good recommendation
for all the people to go listen to.
It's like, it starts with the sea.
I can hear it in my head.
Yes.
Yeah, Kenticle.
That is a great song.
Good job, Claire.
That is a great song of keeping Christ at the center of all things,
just to worship over yourself.
Say it again, Christian.
How do you say it?
What?
How do you say it?
Canticle?
Yeah.
Camacal?
Yeah, what does that mean?
I don't know.
We need, I wish, like, we need to start acting like Theo Vaim.
When I was saying, what does that mean?
And somebody looks it up and is like in the corner.
Should we call Taya right now and ask what it means?
No, we shouldn't.
A little bonus for the podcast.
A little bonus for the pod.
Okay, fine.
But you did say a word earlier.
It's a hymn or chant with words taken directly from the Bible, but not from the book
of Psalms, obviously.
I thought it was like your fingernails
Yes
Putical
You said a word earlier
I did not know what it meant
And it was really good
It was like a big word
Do you remember that?
I said a big word early
Yeah you did
Anyway shout out to you for the big word
It was like inferior or something
It was something about how like
Oh ethereal
Ethereal
That was it
Thereal
That was subtly cool
That was subtly kind
Oh my gosh
Well, thanks for coming on the podcast.
That was so good.
I love y'all.
I love y'all.
Bye.
