What's up everybody?
Happy Woe That's Good Wednesday.
I hope you're having a great week, but friends, it is about to get literally so much better.
So if you are watching this right now, then you already see this is a very special episode.
If you're not watching this, I kind of highly encourage you to tune in on YouTube and watch it because we have the whole family in the house because we have a
very exciting announcement. Shall I say quack quack? We're back! So some of you guys might have seen,
we just announced that we are going back to TV, which is literally so crazy.
But for the Well That's Good listeners,
you might have heard mom and I did a podcast episode
not too long ago where we talked about filming a sizzle.
We were like, I don't really know what this is gonna be,
if it's gonna be something, do we wanna do this?
I think we do, we're doing it, we're filming a sizzle,
we're all in, now we'll see what they say.
And since then I've actually had a lot of you guys check in,
like, hey, how did the sizzle go?
Did anything happen with the sizzle?
Are y'all coming back to TV?
And I have just been radio silent about that
because we couldn't say anything.
So now we're super excited to just be here as a family
and get to talk about it.
So guys, just all in all, how's everybody feeling?
Great.
Everyone's pretty excited.
Actually, I would say super excited for this new journey,
but dad, specifically, let's hear from you,
the boss hug himself.
How are you feeling about going back to the-
Man, I'm so excited about this.
I cannot wait.
I've been dying to get back in production and TV
and all the fun stuff that goes along with it.
And it's the lighting, all of it.
I just can't wait.
It's a pump.
I am pumped.
Pumped, pumped.
This sounds like a spoof.
What are you like in your interview mode?
What do you mean?
I'm excited.
That's super, I mean, I'm puzzled.
I told you.
This is a huge deal.
This is a big thing.
Be yourself.
Everyone else is taken.
I feel like you're being me right now
Well, someone asked me before and I gave a different answer and then sometimes we have to do stuff over so
Whatever I said before I am changing it up baby I gave dad some critiques. I was like I gave dad some critiques. She said you're a dud about this show
He was being a dud. I'm trying to let everybody else talk. He was being a dud. No more dud. He's bringing some energy. So I appreciate that you're bringing some energy. I will say this. We were all a little unsure honestly, whenever we decided to come back and do the show because we did it. We did it for all that, but like, we were like, should we really do this again? It's kind of like, you know, we can't,
it can't be the same, so should we do it again?
We shot this sizzle that we mentioned on the podcast
and it was like two days and everything was like perfect.
It was like the weather was perfect, the sun was shining.
Our kids were like amazing.
They all got along for the whole two days.
Us or our kids?
We good. Oh no. You talking about us? Yeah.. They all got along for the whole two days. Us or our kids? Be good.
Oh no.
Talking about us?
Yeah.
Y'all got along.
Y'all got along for two days.
Our kids got along for two days.
Y'all did miraculous.
No one fought.
You were grandkids.
Y'all did awesome.
We're weirdly good those two days.
So like toddlers actually all got along.
It was like, it was so good.
It just felt like this is right.
So I was like, all right, we're doing it.
And I think at the end of it, I got calls from like every single one of you separately. I was like, that was so good. It just felt like this is right. So I was like, all right, we're doing it. And I think at the end of it,
I got calls from like every single one of you separately.
I was like, that was so fun.
We could do that again.
So here we are.
Okay, so then after that, we decide,
after we did the, we like, you know,
decided we're doing the show,
we decided to film a podcast as a family
to share with y'all the excitement.
So we actually already have done this.
This is our second take.
But as the first time we did a podcast,
mom said that dad was a dud.
And had no energy and excitement.
We almost canceled the whole show just because of,
just because of my performance on that podcast.
So I don't want to do this again.
So whatever it takes, I am ready, ready, ready.
Let's roll, roll, roll, and do some TV.
Dad, okay.
Dad blame production.
Sorry, y'all, production.
He's in the room right now.
Dad blame production because he was like,
well, they told us we can't talk over each other.
And also like, you were,
Willie was sitting behind Sadie.
And so he didn't think he's on camera.
So every time Sadie was talking, he's like this.
Yeah, thank you.
And I was like, Willie,
you've got to like give something
to your fellow.
Which actually.
I'm giving it today.
We have the best couch now, so.
I left that day thinking, I was encouraged
because dad texted me, he's like, great job
with the interview.
I was like, thank you.
And then all of a sudden mom's like, no,
we are redoing that.
Dad's energy was so bad.
And then, hey, you blame production,
then production blamed me and mom and Bella because that was our day two of our juice cleanse and we were like also
juice cleanse all along
it was the juice cleanse
also you never made it to day two of the cleanse
I didn't even make it to the end of day two of the cleanse
cuz after that pie guess I was like oh my gosh I need food
okay who wants to answer this question because there's so many of us. I'm looking at everyone
Maybe John Lee you can take a stab at it. How is this show gonna be different than what Doug Dynasty was?
I think it's gonna be different because we're different, you know
We're different than dad and the brothers and mom and just that whole generation
Like we have a different relationship and the things we're doing our goals are all different
So it's naturally going to feel different. I think it's gonna be a little more
Authentic is the word that we keep using and that's where we want to show like this is how we actually
Live our life like in the day to day. Yeah, I agree
I feel like people are gonna want to know this is uncle side because that's the most question we get asked when we travel
It's like where's uncle size if like he travels everywhere with us
But you know, so people are gonna ask,
is Uncle Si gonna be on it?
Yes, you will see Uncle Si on the show.
You will see some of the older generation as well.
But it is like the continuation.
It's the next generation.
It's what's happening next.
Cause I do feel like, I mean, that was like,
how many years ago we ended in 2017?
So almost eight years ago was when we ended.
So so much has changed.
We've had marriages and babies and all that.
So we've got a lot to catch people up on.
But yes, you'll see some of the older generation too.
And I feel like there's gonna probably be
some other uncle size pop up.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
Is this gonna be like Willie's son-in-law, Willie's other son-in-law, Willie's?
Oh yeah, how the titles used to be.
Willie's third daughter-in-law.
Yeah, I wanna play a fun little,
like who would be most likely,
so like who would be most likely
to be the uncle side character of our crew?
Rebecca. Everyone's playing Rebecca.
Rebecca and Jacob.
These two.
They're both on that college.
We'll let you figure that out.
I'm going to give John Luke a little bit of it too.
He's acting all calm and everything today,
but he has some Uncle Si tendencies.
John Luke can be normal in normal scenarios,
but he also can be Uncle Si-ish.
I call him the silent killer.
I can be.
You're like the silent killer.
I feel like I'm more subtle than the Uncle Si kind of humor style.
They're like, Rebecca is the Uncle Si, like she's Uncle Si in the sense that one, you might have to have subtitles underneath you because sometimes it's hard to understand what you say.
And two, you will have very quotable t-shirt worthy things that you say. I just, I feel like I just don't really have a filter, but that's what everyone's told me.
But I'm not trying to.
No, it comes naturally.
It just comes out of you.
I mean, if it brings joys to people,
then I'm fine with it, but you know.
Both of them.
Both of them.
Both of them.
Both of them have joys.
Okay, who is the most likely to be D.Va on set?
Christian. Christian? Christian? Christian?
What?
Or this guy.
Cory.
Dad.
Dad.
Yes, Willie.
Are you pointing at my head or?
Should I remind you of some of the times on Duckdives 2?
Knee-dye.
I want a blanket.
I demand a blanket right now.
I demand a blanket right now.
I had one D.Viva moment in all 130 episodes
and he will never let me live it down.
It was really funny.
But this man was the Diva that we waited on every episode.
We did wait on you today.
We did wait on you.
I thought it was at the office.
Nobody told me it was at our house.
I literally, that is two times in a row
I've been up there to be on Sadie's podcast.
This was not on us.
This was not on us, not on us.
I literally walked into the podcast room
of your podcast, Crickets, and I went,
perhaps, apparently I'm at the wrong spot,
but I didn't know where the spot was.
This is in the family group.
Perhaps you should read the family group text.
I don't read group text.
Burn, say it.
I don't read group text, okay? Perhaps you can screenshot it and send it to me in a singular text, not a group text.
Diva, that's diva.
I'm part of too many groups.
I can't keep up.
That's diva.
Oh, he's too famous.
He's too cool.
Should we vote again on who's going to be the diva?
Hey.
All right.
Some people are still saying Christian.
Dad is the unanimous.
Maybe I'll just be the pipe-ball film,
get rid of my cell phone.
Oh. Then you gotta come find me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So if you've followed me for a while,
then you have heard me talk about Liberty University
and how much my family loves it.
Fan the flames, y'all.
Liberty's mission is training champions for Christ
and providing an amazing Bible-based education.
I actually had to take some online classes from Liberty
and loved it, and I know you will too.
The online classes was set up so easy for a busy lifestyle.
I loved how it was done,
but I just did it for a short amount of time.
My sister actually did high school
through their online program, college,
and now she's getting her master's,
and so she has obviously loved it and had such a great experience.
Liberty offers more than 700 residential and online degrees, so it is so easy to find what
you'll love turning into your career.
Plus they offer tons of scholarships and other financial assistance so that you can achieve
your dreams at a price that won't break the bank.
Some of you might know that my brother, John Luke, also studied at Liberty, and he actually
went to in-person school.
He was on the campus, and he had an amazing experience.
So if you're interested in checking out Liberty in person
and you are a transfer student, high school senior or junior
or second semester sophomore, then you and your family
can actually attend college for a weekend.
The upcoming dates are February 20th through the 22nd,
or April 3rd through the 5th.
College for a Weekend lets future students
test drive life on Liberty's campus
from attending classes to eating in the dining hall,
which is amazing, and having a blast
at sporting and student events.
It is a great way to see what Liberty living is all about.

When we were talking about what we want the heart of the show to be, I will not forget
this. We're sitting on this couch. It was more put together because we were sitting in our living room.
And John Reed was beside me. And John Reed and I, you know, we have different perspectives on things
sometimes. And mom's like, what do we want the show to feel like? And at the same time, I said pure.
John Reed said edgy. And we looked at each other like, what? So I, yes, that's.
That's okay, it takes all of us.
And that's what I think is fun about it.
And that's what I think is fun about a big family
that I think also some of us have kind of like lost
in society is like when you live in a big family,
you realize that like we're all different.
Like we all, that we think differently about things,
but we also all come together and like,
we sit around the table, we love each other,
we love those differences and we see the value
in coming together with those differences.
But yeah, you were talking about,
that's been kind of a fun part of this process
that we've all kind of come together
and had a few family meetings.
We had the giant whiteboard in our living room
and we're like, okay, what are some words,
we should just throw out some words,
what do we want this to feel like?
And it was things like, authentic I think was the first one is
like we all wanted to feel authentic we wanted to feel like homey and warm was
warm I have something on this and how it's gonna be different I think in the
dynasty the episodes are so short you know we had 30 minutes plus commercials
and so it was like who we really were but it was cut down to such a small,
like one kind of aspect of ourselves.
Whereas this show we've got a whole hour.
So we have so much more time to kind of show the complexities of our
personalities and our relationships.
And I think that's going to be really cool to kind of go deeper into who we are.
And what we want to show.
That's what I was going to say.
It's going to be a bit more balanced in the sense of like Duck Dynasty was really
funny and we'll have those funny elements of like we are just like, there's a lot
of funny things that happen in our family, but there's also a lot of serious things
and a lot of other moments too that we're going to show in this one that are
different from last time.
But Bella, I want to touch on you for a second
because we all were younger when Dog Dynasty was happening.
And like you said, John, it was more focused on dad
and Mama Kay and Pilla Phil, Uncle Si, the brothers,
and we were the kids, you know?
And now we are adults and we're working in the warehouse
and doing our stuff.
Bella, you really were like a kid.
You and Will were like little,
like we were teenagers, but y'all were like kids.
And I'll never forget just that image of you in my mind
doing the karate scene on Duck Dynasty.
So particularly for you and Will,
like Will let you go after Bella.
Like what are you excited about people seeing in your life
who might've watched Duck Dynasty?
Yeah, I'm excited to really show a deeper part of our lives and like not just kind
of the surface level stuff. We all share on social media and I think
sometimes social media can really stay at the highlights but I think this show
will really follow all of our lives and like the hard stuff and the fun stuff
too and I think that would be something, especially because we do all love social media
and we love keeping up with all the people who follow us
and follow our lives.
And I think it will be cool to show them a whole,
you know, the other side of it.
It's true.
Will, what about you?
Yeah, I agree.
I think it's gonna be cool to, I mean,
we're gonna be back and forth a lot from Texas.
And I'm just, I'm excited to show everybody like what,
how we operate aside from everybody else
and not being with you guys and just what our life like is
as a family in Texas and what our jobs are like
and what our friend groups are like
and how we're living life over there.
So it's been really cool.
I think about Dignity, a big part of it for us
was just a family getting to do something together
and what a gift that was for us to get to,
for y'all to be with your aunts and uncles all the time.
I mean, we're together, obviously we're together a lot.
We live in the same property, we're at dinner together,
we're in each other's homes all the time,
but when you're filming a show together,
like you are really together.
And we got that gift with like Mel K and football field
and Uncle Si and all that. And now we're getting to kind of pass that gift with Mel K and Pippa Phil and Uncle Si and all that.
And now we're getting to kind of pass that gift on,
that generationally pass that on.
And also, I know remember whenever we were filming,
thinking like, wow, we have some really awesome home movies,
because y'all experienced big life moments on Duck Dynasty,
learning to drive, getting your driver's license,
first date, getting married, all those things
that you guys experienced on the show.
And we actually get to have that forever and watch that.
So now we're gonna get to have that now for this generation,
which is gonna be really fun and sweet for me as a mom
to get to see.
So speaking of real life,
currently while we're filming this podcast,
at any second Rebecca could go into labor, legitimate.
I keep saying, are you all right?
Cause she made a noise.
I was like, are you all right?
No, literally like no joke.
She could be going.
Baby's started crying.
She might have a baby tonight.
That would go sideways as well.
But Rebecca, I mean, it's a vulnerable thing to be like,
you know, willing to put yourself out there on TV
in the midst of like,
you're literally having your third baby.
We could have been filming this
and like you would have been going to the hospital.
It could have been crazy.
How do you feel about just like cameras coming into your life
with three little kids
and just the stage that y'all are at now?
And I think to us, like we're super excited about it.
And it's so funny when we did a sizzle,
I was not pregnant yet, you know,
and we were already excited just to show our live.
And I think, you know, and then fast forward,
and then I found out I was pregnant,
and then I threw out all this,
and then now we're finally about to start filming
and air the show and all that.
And I'm just excited to be part of like showing that part of the story too,
because how cool like what, who can say that, that your birthing experience or that kind of stuff was documented.
And just, you know, and I feel like for me, I'm so excited about the show
because I feel like we have so much that people can relate to
and we're so also different.
And I feel like, like everyone already said, like before you feel like it was just showing one aspect of the family.
But now we have so many different personalities in the family.
I think everyone can find like themselves related to one of us or the situation, like birthing is one,
like being pregnant or like, you know, like kids, crazy.
I don't know, I just feel like that just almost even add
more like excitement and you know.
It's real life.
It's what people are going through who are watching.
And yes, I feel like people watching the show
can relate to one of us.
Just speaking of real life moments,
who can say that that was documented?
Y'all had your wedding on Duck Dynasty,
which I think is so special.
Mary Kate, you wanna speak into a little bit,
because you were a part of Duck Dynasty,
more so like Christian and Jacob Drumrede.
Well Drumrede, you were kind of in that too.
Abby, y'all were in that wave.
So now we're getting to experiences with our spouses,
which is so sweet.
Amirikate, what are you excited about
bringing the cameras back
and the stage of life that you guys are in?
And I think it's sweet too,
because just to say,
people have followed you along since Duck Dynasty,
and I think it's gonna be so cool
for those who have followed you,
love you on social media,
just like everyone here.
You guys all do such a good job sharing your life,
but what are you excited about showing more of?
I just felt like all of us, I feel like one of our
hesitations of the show was that we all feel so happy
with like how life is right now, but I think that's also
the flip side just what's gonna be so fun about it
is I feel like life is just, see it feels so full
and so sweet right now, like I don't know,
I think we have a lot of fun together and I'm excited
for the kids because I feel like one of the fun parts about filming
Duck Dynasty was we were just all together a lot and I can think back on
like us as teenagers and 19 and 20 and just even the hours like behind the
camera. You know when cameras weren't rolling, when we're waiting and behind
the scenes and just laughing and having fun and I'm excited for all of us to get
that again but this time like also with our kids and I think they're actually gonna love it because
it just means more family time which is all they really want. That's so true.
Well, fam, we had a tough couple of weeks in the Huff House with the flu but
thankfully we are on the mend but it was a good reminder of weeks in the Huff House with the flu, but thankfully we are on the mend.
But it was a good reminder of how important it is to keep up with your hydration needs,
especially after being sick.
So keeping up with your electrolyte balance is essential to getting better faster, and
that is where Element comes in.
Because hydration isn't just about drinking water, it's also about maintaining a balance
that helps you operate at the top of your game.
Element is a zero- zero sugar electrolyte drink mix
and sparkling electrolyte water that was born from research
showing that we need two or three times more sodium
than government recommendations.
So each pack of Element has a meaningful dose
of electrolytes, including sodium, without any sugar,
artificial flavors, or shady ingredients
found in other brands.
Electrolytes are responsible for so many important functions
in our body and losing that balance can cause headaches,
cramps, fatigue, brain fog, and weakness.
So Element is formulated for literally anyone
on a mission to restore their hydration balance.
It's used by podcasters, Olympic and pro athletes,
special forces teams, gym bros, and lots of people
like me and you just live in our best life.
Plus, for a limited time, Element is offering flavors especially designed to be enjoyed
hot.
So in the cold weather, it's perfect for that, like chocolate raspberry, chocolate chai,
or chocolate mint.
That sounds like it would be so tasty and a cup of hot cocoa.
So whether you're a snowboarder, ice skater, or just a driveway shoveler, Element can fuel
your winter activities.
We love Element in our household.
I actually have Christian and I's favorites here.
I love the watermelon salt packets
and Christian is absolutely obsessed
with their sparkling drink.
He loves it.
He literally drinks one every day.
So be sure to try the new Element hot
and get your free sample pack with any Element purchase,
which is a great way to try out all of the flavors
at drinkelement.com slash woe. Again, that's www.drinkelement.com slash woe.
I think one of the questions I get asked a lot for people who know me and know that we're
doing a show is like, how do you feel about your kids being on TV? Like people are, you
know, just that's a natural thing to worry about.
And as much as I was worried about that too, I remembered, oh wait, I was the kid.
Like I was the kid who went through this too, you know, cause our family had
ducheynesty and we were the younger generation and we were the kids.
And now I look back and I can't imagine my life without that.
That was such a part of our life.
And I'm so grateful for the way that we grew up and I can't imagine my life without that. That was such a part of our life.
And I'm so grateful for the way that we grew up
and I'm so grateful for the way that you guys raised us
in that and like, I think one thing that was wild
about Duck Dynasty is we had never been through that before.
So you guys were learning at the same time we were learning
but you still did a great job at teaching us.
And now we actually have an example of that.
We're like, we did that and you guys gave us that example.
And so, yeah, I'm excited for the kids
because it was exciting for us.
We got to spend time with the family
and got to do something very special
and yeah, have the most epic home movies of all time.
But yeah, some of those life moments on the show are,
like John Luke said, I will never out,
what'd you say?
Like I will never outgrow Bumblebee Tuna.
There are some things that you're like,
oh, that's embarrassing.
Well, yeah, but the thing that was amazing
about the show, about Duck Dynasty,
was how much the fans loved it and people loved it
and how supported we felt while we were filming it
and putting it out.
Like I have people every day who I see at Duck Commander at the store say like, oh I watched your wedding
we loved it or they'll say like oh that bumblebee tune episode like I laughed so
hard at that. You know like they people love to watch it and so now we get asked
all the time like when are you gonna do another show when you gonna do another
show and so like when we've been saying we're excited to show this it's like
because you the people who've been watching
Loved it and been asking for it. We're excited that we get to do this for you
I remember bringing up that verse that you are the light of the world
You know a city on a hill cannot be hidden
You don't light a lamp and put it under a stand but you put it on top of the stand so that it gives light to
The whole house and then it says in the same way
Let your light shine so that others may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven.
And I think that's like such a good verse
for what Duck Dynasty was able to be.
It was a light in the world.
And so when we got the opportunity to come back to TV,
it almost felt like to say no,
to hide the light under the stand.
But no, you don't do that.
You put it on top of the stand
so that people can see the light
and in hopes that people will see God through that,
and find joy in their own heart, in their own home.
That was one of the coolest things,
is how many people started having dinner together
as a family, from just seeing that example on Duck Dynasty,
praying together as a family.
I just think that was such a beautiful thing
that we were able to be a part of,
just kind of a movement in that,
and hopefully we'll do that again through sharing our family with the world.
Yeah, I was going to say, I think it's cool because I work in the store and so
I get to interact with a lot of fans every day and it's really fun because
there's so many people who are watching it right now due to like streamers and stuff like that.
So many kids come in and watch the show and it's really fun because they've seen the show so many
times.
There will be people who come in and they'll be like,
I recognize you from the TV show.
And I'm like, how?
I was like nine or 10 years old.
How do you recognize me from the TV show?
But they watch it over and over again.
So I think it's really cool
because we're gonna get to give them something else
to watch, something new, something fresh.
I feel like someone came in the other day
and they told me they have four TVs in their house
and when they get home home they turn all of them
on Duck Dynasty and everyone watches Duck Dynasty. Which I was like wild but cool.
I had that moment too with actually it was a doctor that we were going to for
Honey and the doctors like you know plays it so cool the whole time and then
at the end she's like by the way um my dog loves your show. I know that sounds weird
but every time I leave my house,
I turn on Duck Dynasty for my dog.
I'm like, cool.
It's a soothing show for the dog.
But I'm like, that's how they recognize us
because they watch it so many times.
I know. So it's so cool,
because we're gonna get to give them
something else to watch and something new.
I think it's fun.
There's people all the time who come in
and tell me things about the show
that I have no idea what they're talking about.
And I'm like, cool.
They're like, is the decoy still on the roof? I'm like, I don't know. You can go look. I have no idea what they're talking about. And I'm like, cool. They're like, is the decoy still on the roof?
I'm like, I don't know.
You can go look.
I have no idea what they're talking about.
But I'm like, go look.
I know it's hard to keep up.
There is 130 plus episodes.
So people will ask me like, how's like, you know, uncle size poodle.
I'm like, I have no idea.
You know, cause so much life has happened.
Um, okay.
Jacob and Christian, you guys haven't got to talk much,
but I feel like this is so exciting
because y'all were not in the first wave of Duck Dynasty.
Here y'all are on this new season,
but it's really cool too
because thinking back to the brother dynamic
of like Jason, Jeff, and Alan,
all of the guys in the warehouse and stuff,
and then thinking about what it kind of looks like
in our family, it's not so much the siblings.
We've been joking like if any rivalry is going to happen, it's the brother in law.
It's like it's like Jari, Jacob, Christian, this whole dynamic.
Jumlet, you're too nice to be in that rivalry, but you'll be in on all the action.
He's definitely in on all the action.
But he's not going to be the one stirring the pot.
So how are you all feeling about life on TV? I feel great. It's it's I
don't know if you feel the same way but anytime we do like the quack quack we're back thing it's
like so uncomfortable for me to say. Yeah me too definitely. I was never on the show. I'm not coming back. But you were a fan. I was a fan but I'm like I'm not coming back to anything. This is my This is my first time. So I'm like uncomfortable saying that.
I get it.
But no, I'm really excited.
I think echoing what everyone has said of just,
we all are so close.
We do love our life right now.
And I think that showing that will be a light,
like you just mentioned.
And I think there's so many funny dynamics to play off of.
And I just think that we're all gonna grow closer
and look back and yeah, have so many great memories
to just to reminisce on.
So I'm really excited.
No more hesitancies.
They were some of the beginning.
Yeah, I mean, it'll be super fun.
I mean, the rivalry will happen, you know?
It's not on purpose.
I think it'll just be-
It's mainly these two right here.
No, you'll be in this too.
You'll be in this too.
I think it'll just be all fun
because that's just how we are.
That's how boys are.
That at least how me and Christian and John Reed are.
We just like to poke fun at each other and have a good time.
And if it goes too far, ask for forgiveness later
and you figure it out.
John Reed always act like he was like the older one.
He's like, oh, well, I'm like their dad.
But I've seen their texts and stuff.
I'm like, oh, this is.
Maybe like stepdad or something, like young stepfather.
You're like our older brother.
Yes, like the really wild...
The 15 year old older brother that still lives with the parents,
like in the basement.
But you're the favorite though. I enjoy it.
So one question that a lot of people have had is,
what is the name of the new show?
And we don't even know the name of the new show and we don't
even know the name of the new show and so one everyone can drop a comment what
you think it should be but also any ideas what the new show should be called
I've seen duck duck deuce suggested. Duck Duck Deuce was suggested and we were like no.
I was like then every time you like you do any kind of interview you had to be
like what's up guys?
I'm Sadie from DuckDuckDeuce.
What's this, Disney channel?
Is that like your little?
And you're watching.
We draw the duck.
Yeah.
Yeah, so we definitely need suggestions.
Yeah.
I think the one everyone is liked is like the next generation
kind of style, like Duck Dynasty next generation.
Do you like the next generation or like the 2.0?
Next gen 2.0. I think Duck Dynasty 2.0 is kind of cool. OK, Duck Dynasty Next Generation. Do you like Next Generation or like the 2.0? Next Gen 2.0.
I think Duck Dynasty 2.0 is kind of cool.
Yeah.
Duck Dynasty 2.0.
That's not bad.
That's pretty good.
Pretty fun.
OK, I do want to talk about this because we are just
now getting to know kind of the production team, show runner,
all the things.
And we all got an email the other day, a questionnaire
getting to know us.
So the first question he asked, what are some of our quirks?
I thought that was kind of a funny question.
I'll throw it at Bella first,
because we were talking about sibling robbery,
and I said, well, me and Bella don't really ever,
I can't even think of a time we've ever gotten
like a argument or fight like as adults,
or even, we didn't really even argue that much as kids.
Me and you did, John Luke, but me and Bella really didn't.
But I was like, but Bella and Christian actually kind of do,
because one of Bella's, you could say quirks.
I'm clearly the common denominator.
I was like, one of Bella's, quote unquote quirks,
is like, she doesn't sugar coat anything.
She's just like, very like blank,
like just say how it is and like,
doesn't really care about how it comes out.
So like, if you're in a bad mood,
like you're just in a bad mood,
and you're just okay to tell everybody you're in a bad mood.
And if you're just gonna say something
that's gonna be honest,
and then you're just gonna drop legs high and walk away,
which some sensitive feelings cannot handle
some of the straightforwardness of your quirkiness.
And so that is something that I was kinda talking about
was gonna be a funny dynamic to see on screen.
Yeah, I feel like Christian's gotten
a little bit used to it now.
You can handle it more than back in the day.
Little bit.
You do, like, you know whenever you're not in a good mood.
Like, you always, you always, like, you would know.
I'll go ahead and acknowledge if there is a mood.
Well, it's awesome.
Moody, moody.
You can tell it by Bella's dress.
Bella's, whether or not she washed her hair.
What did you say to her the other day?
Is that off limits to talk about?
When you came to work and then you walked in
and you were looking pretty rough
and I was like, so what's your vibe you got going on today?
And then she immediately started crying.
And I was like, I'm sorry.
But I think that that's the kind of thing
that Rebecca said, like, everyone,
you're gonna see yourself in one of us.
And like, I think that that's what's so great.
And like, people always laugh at me and you
because like, someone will ask a question.
Like, like one of our best friends,
because we all have like same best friends,
and I'll be like, hey, do you like this shirt?
And you'll be like, no.
At the same time, I'll be like,
well, it's not my favorite.
No, what you do is you say, why don't you ask Bella?
I do that too.
And like, Sadie's friend who has bangs,
she texted me and was like,
hey, Sadie told me to ask you if I should grow my bangs.
I was like, you sent her to me to do your dirty work.
Which if I say you need to ask Bella,
that means the answer's not what you wanna hear.
Yeah.
I was like, what do I say back to this ice cream truck
and send it to Sadie?
And she was like, yeah, you need to tell her no.
I was like, oh my gosh.
Not that there's anything wrong with bangs.
Not that there's anything wrong with bangs.
I think that's the kind of thing.
Rebecca, there's nothing wrong with your bangs.
No, Rebecca, your bangs look great.
We love your bangs, Rebecca.
Thanks.
Yours really do look good.
I got a pretty direct answer straight from all y'all that y'all like it.
No, they look really good and Bella affirmed that.
My quirk is more just like not being fake and so if I'm in a bad mood, I'll just go
and acknowledge it.
I'm in a bad mood.
Remember when you said Bella's very savage?
Oh yeah, so Bella's kind of a savage.
Savage, yeah.
And Rebecca goes, really?
And then she goes, well sometimes she does say my booty's flat.
Yeah, she calls my booty flat all the time.
And then.
Listen, fam, secondary resolutions can be tough.

This is what I hope.
I hope like as people watch the show as a family,
because you know, TV has kind of,
I feel it used to be like that way.
You watch shows as a family and we still do.
Like we watched Survivor together,
American Idol, like those kinds of things.
But I hope this is a show that our family can watch together and as a family be like, oh that's so you or that's
so me, you know. And I think they'll get that through all of our different
personalities. I love that because that is one thing that so many people
commented to me on Duckdawnessy. They were like, this is the only show that we
sit down and watch as a family and we all we had love to have shows that we
watch together as a family. So that was something that was really special. I actually
had one woman come up with like,
she was like crying and she said,
17 years of marriage is the first show my husband and I
can agree on and we watched together.
And it was like this bonding moment for them.
So we hope that this show is that for families as well.
Yeah.
That's good.
Anyone want to share some of dad's quirks?
Mom and dad's quirks?
Cause I feel like this is going to be fun for people
to see y'all in a new stage of your life,
which is really sweet.
In a quirky way.
Well, yeah, like this isn't like a quirk of yours,
but how just like sweet you are to the grandkids.
And like, like grown so much since like your last.
Is that a quirk?
Yeah, that's a quirk.
But just to show a soft side, yeah. I said this isn't a quirk but this is just a
new thing that we're seeing in you is like this really tender side towards the
grandkids which is really sweet and fun okay Bella has a real quirk is that
everywhere we go dad will just start stretching, like in the airport.
He will have his leg up on the escalator.
I was gonna say elevator.
On the escalator, he'll have his leg all the way up on his stretching.
And I'm like, me and Mom are like back away from us.
We are not associated with this person, like full on stretching in the airport.
And like, I will'll never forget we were somewhere
We were at this like nicer thing
We had to kind of be you know on our best behavior and me and mom turn around and dad is hanging on to this bridge
Full-on stretching like body in the air like this like knees up to his chest with his arms hanging. We're like, oh my gosh
What is he doing? And Bella goes, no other dads are doing this.
Why is my dad doing that?
We were like looking around, all the other dads are in like nice outfits, button-ups,
and dad's wearing a Tim Tebow foundation shirt that says, show them what's underneath on it.
And then stretching in public.
And me and mom were like, oh my gosh.
None of those dads are as flexible as I am either.
You gotta maintain your flexibility.
No one is more well-stretched to not do athletic things.
No one is more well-stretched.
I had a Tim Tebow shirt on.
What are you talking about?
What are you stretching for?
That's what I'm always wondering.
Just in case, just in case.
Dad actually does have kind of a lot of quirks.
Like, you're zero to one hundredness of like,
okay, for instance, we were just talking about this
before we started recording, that there's like,
what, Amazon's 50 best gadgets and what,
how many did you order?
It wasn't Amazon's, it was on something else,
but I got a few, yeah.
Like what?
Oh, my other favorite is that he gets a shopping cart
at Bucky's, the gas station,
and literally spends so much
money at Buc-ee's. It's like who spends that much money at a gas station? That's very relatable.
I do feel like this is gonna be fun having an hour-long episode because people are
gonna get to see more quirks of each person and each person's personality,
which is gonna be so fun. And new sides of you guys, like they might think that
they know so much of y'all because they don't know you, but I think they're gonna see
just a more real side of y'all,
and especially for you, Mom,
because I feel like you were such like,
you were yourself on the show,
but also like, we didn't get to see
like the full picture of who you are.
And so whenever I tell people like about you,
like all the things you do, they're like,
what, you're always like doing so much,
and like, she's such a good mom such a good grandma and people like love to
learn from you so much and I learned from you so much you're like truly my
mentor mom and friend and so I'm excited for people to get to see more of you on
the show too and kind of what your life we were literally talking about how you
were just chopping fruit and vegetable the whole time on Take Dynasty I was like
always chopping vegetables yeah that was my whole role in the show,
was chopping vegetables.
Okay, what are my quirks?
What are your, you got some quirks.
You like disappear, like we'll all be at dinner
and all of a sudden mom will just like back out of the room
and then like be in her room in bed already
and we're like still eating dinner.
You're an Irish admire.
Actually, me and Jonny also have discovered this,
I think like Bella's got some of her thing from you
as far as like, we can tell when you're like not in the mood
for something, you know?
But she hides it a little bit better,
but you can definitely tell.
They talk more gracefully because,
but we can totally tell whenever you're like,
this is like something's wrong.
I can't hide my expressions.
You're like secondhand sickness and injuries too.
Oh, the secondhand sickness.
Oh my gosh.
Secondhand everything.
You can like, I can be in another state
and like hit my elbow on something and be like,
oh my gosh, my elbow is so sore.
And I was like, you know, it's so weird.
Like I actually like, I'm not saying it's the same thing,
but I have been having a pain in my elbow. And I'm like, that's so weird. Like, I actually like, I'm not saying it's the same thing, but I have been having a pain in my elbow.
And I'm like, that is so true.
I'm very empathetic.
My favorite mom quirk is she will go through a list
when she gets like, get ready for bed.
She'll say, okay, I'm gonna get some ice cream.
I'm gonna brush my teeth.
I'm gonna turn the TV.
And it's every time she has to make the list
of what she's fixing to do.
And it's just she and I here.
And I'm like, okay.
And it's like the same words.
I got your list.
Yeah, it's always the same thing.
I'm communicating.
I do like lists.
It's called communicating.
One time I made a list that said things to think about.
And I held it to dad because like it were things
I wanted us to think about like together and he made fun of me forever for my list about things to think about
Put that on the list of Jacob made fun of me one time
We were packing and I was writing out like six pants six shirts and Jake was like, why are you doing that?
I was like, I don't know. That's what my mom does every time she backs
She writes down everything
I do the list thing too it in the morning before I wake up I'll wake up my eyes are so closed and I'll go through okay
I'm gonna get up and we go and I go through my whole list all the way to like nine o'clock
I think one thing that is like so the hardest show is generations, like representing generations.
And I think it is really fun
because we're like, as we're talking about quirks,
oh, that comes from you.
And like, there are certainly a lot of quirks
that like MemawK and PebbleFill have
that everyone even from watching the show
and our just fans could say,
just picking up on things that PebbleFill did
that was funny, MemawK, Uncle Si.
And I think, you know, we might see some of those quirks
come through you, you know, in this show
as you're the grandpa and you're starting to turn into
your dad in certain ways and others not.
But I think it'll be fun for people to see that, yep.
And then I have a lot of that because a lot of your quirks
are my quirks and so people are gonna see that in me and then you're gonna start to see my quirks. And so people are going to see that in me.
And then you're going to start to see in our kids, which is just so fun
to see that family dynamic.
When you're thinking of avoiding bacteria, what comes to mind?
For most of us, it's things like washing our hands or properly storing food.
But have you ever thought about how much bacteria might be in the bed
that you sleep in at night?
Okay, I know, so crazy.
But traditional bed sheets can harbor more bacteria
than a toilet seat.
I'm so sorry to break the news.
Which of course can lead to acne, allergy, congestion,
all the things, plus it's just gross.
But luckily my friends at Miracle Maid offer a whole line
of self-cleaning bedding,
including sheets and pillowcases that prevent
up to 99.7% of
bacterial growth, which means that Miracle Bedding stays fresher up to three times longer
than regular sheets, leaving you with less laundry and more peace of mind.
Less bacteria can also mean less breakouts, clogged pores, and allergies, which we are
all about.
And not only are Miracle Sheets antibacterial, they're also self-cooling because they are
made with silver-inf infused fabrics inspired by NASA.
So you can sleep easy at night
with the perfect temperature all night long.
Miracle sheets are legit so comfy
and they will not break the bank
because they have a great price tag.
So you can sleep with luxury sheets
without the luxury price tag.
We love ours.
Literally the first night we slept on them,
we were totally sold.
These are the best sheets ever.
Quickly ordered another pair so that we don't have to have one cycle of washing without them.
We love our Miracle Sheets.

Which y'all probably all say it's me, but I know we've had the conversation many times of like, who's the most dramatic, who exaggerates the most, but it is a Robertson trait that everybody has.
Like we all three have it, all of us have it, and then all of your family has it. I know I have it.
You're the most. I know I have it. You're the most.
I know I got it.
You're the most.
You got the M.L.K. version of the.
I have it bad, but we all do, let's be real.
I have it bad.
Let's be real.
I do think that is one thing
that we're looking forward to on this show too.
Like dad specifically is like passing things down
onto you guys, you know, like mayhaw jelly.
We got to make mayhaw jelly as a family
and that's something that Pippa Phil always did with y'all.
And we did that on Duck Dynasty.
Things like that, passing down traditions,
like family traditions,
because that's something really important to us
on both sides of our family, the Robinson side
and my side of the family.
Like, what are those family traditions
that we're gonna get to pass down to you guys?
And I know dad really wants to, you know.
You can speak for yourself,
speak for yourself,
speak for yourself, but like,
you're gonna pass down traditions.
Yeah, I hope to.
I think one of the main differences like for myself
from Duck Dynasty to this was on Duck Dynasty,
it was over 10 years ago and it was mostly me at work.
And so I was CEO and the boss.
And fortunately now I'm able to
there's other people that we've hired that do a lot of the work stuff and so
now I do have more time to be able to pass on other things that are perhaps
even more important than just work and all that but you know just I live life
and you know other traditions that we learned growing up when I was a kid, when we didn't have a big business.
So yeah, I think it'll be a different way to
kind of show y'all things outside of just work.
Although I still got some few things to teach them.
No, people are definitely excited to see that.
And I think because people have seen that
on our social media, they always see you cooking
for all of us.
We're always taking pictures of the food that you're making.
It's gonna be so fun to bring people into all of that
and what that looks like in a bigger picture.
I think, too, one of the questions
was, will you all do the dinner scene the same
as you did with Duck Dynasty?
And we might.
We don't really know.
We haven't fully jumped into all of that.
But one of the things we were talking about at school,
we were like, we could do the dinner scene altogether.
Or we can do the dinner scene at each of our individual houses,
because we've carried that tradition into our homes
of having dinner as a family and prioritizing that.
And so it's just special to see the traditions that run through
and just all the family dynamics, the good, the bad, the ugly,
everything in between.
So Sadie, since you're the host of this,
I have a question for you.
Are you still going to be able to do your podcast
and all the other things that you do,
also with the responsibilities of doing a television show?
I'll wait for your answer, thank you.
First off, great interview style question, I love it.
Actually that was something,
kinda like Mary Kate said, the hesitancy was like, man, I really love what I'm doing now.
I feel so passionate about it since Duck Dynasty's been on.
You know, it's been seven, what would we say,
seven, eight years, eight years since the show ended.
And I have really worked hard towards creating
Live Original and Well Let's Go Podcast
and all these things that I truly do feel so passionate
about that I was like, oh, I don't want to stop doing what I'm doing. And so what's been really cool is we've had time
since we filmed The Sozell and kind of gotten our life prepared for what this next step is going to
look like to get the right pieces into place to hopefully continue to do the things that we're
doing while also stepping into a show. And so yes, I fully plan to keep doing the podcast and
so excited to do the podcast alongside
of the show.
I feel like that would bring like unique opportunities and things to talk about while people are
watching it and continue on Live Original too, because I think it's helping a lot of
girls out there.
It's helped me so much in my own life just having that ministry.
So yes, I fully intend to and have an incredible team in place who's been working really hard
for me to be able to step into
Filming and continue doing all the things. So has your position changed on that at all? I'm sorry. I've been watching politics
I'm sorry. No, I'll leave it at that. I'll leave it that thank you for your thank you for your question
So we say quack quack. We're back
We're obviously going back to TV but people are going to be asking where are we going back to what channel we watching on? Which I think is really special that we could say we're actually going back to TV but people are going to be asking where are we going back to? What channel are we watching on? Which I think is really special that we could say we're
actually going back to A&E which kind of feels like coming back home in a lot of
ways we're super grateful for that and it will also be streamed on Hulu which
is so exciting. I think it's gonna be really fun to do all together as a
family and we just want to say is that all of the fans out there who supported
Duck Dynasty and are excited about this show, thank you so much for the support that you guys have shown us.
It really is because of you guys watching the show, talking about the show, keeping
it alive that's even brought us back to the opportunity of being able to step into this
again.
And so thank you for that.
For those who did not see Doug Dynasty and you're jumping in for the first time getting
to know our family, we're so grateful for that.
And so thankful that we're gonna
get to show you guys some of our life and we'll get to learn together. We can't
wait to meet you guys whenever we run into you at the airport or events we
speak at. It really just is so special to get to do life with a whole lot of
people around the world and we're grateful that you guys welcome us into
your home through your TV. So we're excited. I hope you guys are excited too.
Like I said, leave some ideas for your names for your TV. So we're excited. I hope you guys are excited too.
Like I said, leave some ideas for names for the show.
We'll love to hear what you guys are thinking.
And again, thank you so much for the support.
We're so excited to be back. Bye!
