So Lola Blankets are one of those things that you bring into your house thinking it's going to be all yours and suddenly everybody else wants to claim it.
I have the large and it's honestly the perfect size for me.
I love curling up with it on the couch when I'm reading, but also it's big enough for all the girls to pile in for some snuggle time and movie time, which is so much better.
They are ridiculously soft, y'all.
Made with luxury, faux fur and a four-way stretch that makes them extra cozy, but they're also practical.
You can throw them in a washing machine and they are made to hold up without peeling or.
shedding. It's amazing. Lola has over 20,000 five-star reviews and once you feel one, you will
totally get why. And honestly, Lola blankets make a great gift too because it's one of those things
that the whole family's going to use. We actually gave one to a little newlywed couple that was
getting married and they were so excited about it because it's so gorgeous and it does feel like
luxury and it was so comfy. So they were like, this is going on our bed. We're so excited.
For a limited time, our listeners can get 40% off. Select Lola Blanket products with the code,

Sometimes my days can get pretty crazy. Kids in the morning going to do podcasts, trying to do
a million other things and get back home to prepare dinner. It's just crazy. And my hydration
game has got to keep up with me. That's one reason I love Element. It makes getting electrolytes
super simple no matter what the day looks like. Element gives you a meaningful dose of
electrolytes with sodium, potassium, and magnesium without the sugars, dyes, and other ingredients
that you found in a lot of other sports drinks. And there are so many ways to drink it from
stick packs to their 16-ounce sparkling cans and the newer 12-ounce slim cans, which I love.
Christian is all about that sparkling black cherry lime salt and he did get me on it. And y'all
I love it. I've always loved the lemonade one. But that black cherry lime salt is good. So
big fan of that. We actually just went to Montana recently and I was feeling so sick the first day,
just, you know, being in a new climate. And Christian gave me one of his elements and I'm not kidding.
I went from feeling so horribly nauseous to feeling amazing after I drank that element.
And after I did that and I felt so good, I told Christian, I am going to say this on the podcast because I have a true testimony from this moment.
Element has leveled up my hydration game and it can do the same for you.

Ready, happy woe that's good Wednesday.
I hope you're having a great week,
but per usual, it is about to get so much better.
Today is going to be such a fun episode
because we are actually answering
some of your most asked questions in the voicemails.
We condense them, put it in a little piece of paper,
and y'all, we have some fun ones.
We're going to be talking about red flags
in dating. We're going to be talking about going viral and getting followers, and we're going to be
talking about Santa Claus. We can't wait to discuss all these things that you guys have asked,
and we have some incredible guests in the house. We have co-host Christian, of course,
and we have Wabby. Will and Abby Robertson. Welcome back to the pod.
Wabi. What up?
Wabby forever.
It could be Wabby or ale.
I like Wabby better.
I agree. I think Wabby might be the better to say.
I agree. Hey, look, it's ale. It's ale.
It's ale. What kind of ailness do you have?
We're just thinking with Wabby. We like Wabby. We like Wabby.
We've had some fun episodes with y'all, and today we kind of are doing something fun, too.
We took a lot of the voicemails people have sent in, and these are the most asked questions condensed down.
But before we get into that, because y'all are on and we never really get to talk about pop culture on this podcast, what are some of the shows?
y'all are watching.
We have quite a few.
Y'all always have quite a few.
Do y'all color coordinate?
Because it's a vibe.
No.
Well, we did.
This is not a unified effort.
Is it really?
That's really wild.
That is so cool.
We both felt green today, I guess.
She went up, she got up and did Pilates this morning.
And so I, like, I had to move my car, but I got back in bed.
So I didn't know what you were.
I didn't even see each other.
We didn't even see each other.
So I put on this in the green.
hat.
And then I came home from Pilates and showered and put on green too.
I feel like we tend to do that a lot, though.
We do.
We do.
Yeah.
And it's very unintentional, but I feel like, you know, since we're married now.
Just, you're the most, like, together couple, though.
You really are.
Yeah.
You very much, like, you really don't see one without the other.
Yeah.
You're Pee and J.
We are.
That's why they're wetties.
That's why they're wavy.
That's right.
Okay, shows.
We watch Big Brother.
we've been watching St. Dennis Medical,
which has been really funny.
St. Dennis Medical is really funny.
It's like the office, but it's in a hospital.
Yeah.
Yes, it's very funny.
Have you all watched Abbott Elementary?
You all would have liked that.
You all should watch that one.
But we watched Abbott.
What do you watch it on?
Well, both are on Netflix and Peacock.
Okay.
So like the NBC kind of took over all the peacock stuff.
I mean, yeah, yeah.
No, Peacock took over all the NBC's stuff.
stuff. So it's Office,
not Brooklyn Nine-Nine,
but Parks and Rec, St.
Dennis, all that is on
Peacock. And so we watch a lot of
our stuff on there. And then,
what else do we watch? We've been
watching New Curl. Yeah.
We've been watching the Office superfan
episodes. Oh yeah, the superfan episodes.
I think I can count on one hand the amount
of shows we have watched together.
Really? Really? Oh, no, I know, really.
It's crazy. I'm trying to feel
I also have kids. So, I mean, it's very
different. It's so hard to watch shows consistently when you have kids. I don't know when you do it.
But that's why I like to hear what's going on in the world whenever I talk to y'all. I'm like,
let's know who I'm watching. But I am watching Disney with the Stars next pro. Yes, we are watching much.
By the time this comes out, it'll all be over. It will be on. Yeah. But I'm loving the next pro.
It's been really good. At first I was like, okay, like by the end of this, am I really going to love them like the pro? Like am I going to want? And then I did.
You have fallen in love with the characters. It's so sweet. Yeah.
four people, by the end, I was like any one of them could be a pro, and I'd be excited,
but Alan.
I don't watch.
I wish Alan stayed.
Justice for Alan.
Really,
falling in love with just the plot.
Yeah.
I didn't, I'm barely watching it.
I wasn't expecting me.
Well, Robert O.
In his hosting.
I love at the end.
He's like, Robert.
And goodbye.
It's like, I'm Robert Ovin.
It makes it seem like he's live.
Like, he goes into this whole monologue afterwards and it's,
It's really funny.
It's so sweet.
But it's awesome.
It's really cool.
I love it.
You watch shows without me, though.
Like, you've watched some shows recently.
Not really.
What have you been watching?
You'll be like, I'm going to watch my show.
What's that mean?
Well, I watch an episode of Reacher, but that's like a once a week thing.
That's only like a seven episodes.
Yeah, but you've never seen Reacher.
Okay.
Hey, that's a show, Christian.
If I'm watching like my show, I don't have any, like,
like my shows right now. That's the only other show I watch, at least right now.
Chris Brat's new show comes out, I think in October.
What am I watching that's airing right now? It's on Netflix.
Which I will watch the Termin'Lest when it comes out. That's Chris Pratt's new show.
Yeah, you like in 10 shows. Then I also watch House of David every week.
You like in 10 shows? I like reality shows. We still need to watch them. We like funny.
You're watching like 10 shows right now and House of David's not one of them?
We did need to stop and watch that. Crazy work.
I did need to stop and watch that. I started watching the Fast and Furious franchise.
actually.
Re-watching.
Okay.
I'm all about family.
Yeah, it's all about family and cars.
We've also seen some good.
You just snort?
Wow.
All about family.
I'm so glad you feel comfortable on this.
I don't think I've ever done that in my life.
I've never snorted.
I need it except the skin worse.
Sadie.
Christian,
I'm honored that you feel that same here.
I apologize to the audience for a shattered nose.
That my nose job,
aka surgery,
did not fix.
And I think I broke it again a couple months ago.
He did.
He was trying to reenact a microphone following on Kit to see if it really hurt that bad.
And so he literally put it on the toy piano, rolls it over on his face, and it literally broke his nose.
It was supposed to hit my cheek.
That I was about two inches off and it hit the nostril.
It was so bruised.
It hurts so bad.
Like black, yeah.
It was a little broken nose.
That's why I had to take a break from the pocket.
podcasting for a little bit.
Oh. I'm dead. That actually did
happen. Also some good
movies, Spider-Man. We saw.
Spider-Man. It was great.
It was so good.
Paul Patrol.
Paul Patrol was fire.
I cried. Oh, you cried.
I literally cried. Honey was like loving that
I had cried. She thought it was the funniest thing about.
I was so proud of Marshall.
That pup overcame some stuff.
Oh, man. I really was.
There's something about when he hugged Ryder.
It was Ryder's pride. I'm literally going to cry
again talking about it. It's really just the fact that a fire dog has an amazing character arc.
You mean it's a Dalmatian. Is it? Okay. You know what? I didn't even think about that.
Like, I didn't even think about him. You didn't think about the fact that March was a
Dalmatian, which is why he's in charge of the fire? Nope. Baby. And then the fact that it was a volcano,
that's good writing. That's good writing. Okay. Anyways, Palm Patrol.
It's going to hit harder next time you want you.
Moana live action was great.
I don't care what you say.
I still haven't seen it.
I want to though.
I loved it.
I don't know if I'm going to watch it.
Yeah, you didn't even let Moana too.
Just tough to hear.
I liked Moana too.
Who said that?
John Luke.
John Luke and Mary Kate were heavily opinionated on how it was not as good.
I thought both of them were good.
I liked, I do like the first one better.
I think the first one is better in every way.
This actually.
fits really well into our next question. Is it wrong for Christians to listen to secular music
slash watch secular movies? We get this question a lot. You want to speak into it and then we'll go?
Yeah, I'll say just from like my experience, I have kind of felt like different convictions from
Lord. Like just as far as like what really like I guess determines the outcome of my day. Like it's
something changed me.
I don't even remember what movie kind of started it, but just some movies and TV shows,
it's like, okay, I know I shouldn't be watching this.
I know this isn't healthy for my eyes to see.
And it makes you think about the verse that's like your eyes or the window to your soul.
And I've just started thinking more about that as I've gotten older and been more intentional
with what I put into my soul.
And I think it's important to just listen to your own convictions.
and if you think I maybe shouldn't be watching this,
chances are you probably shouldn't be watching this.
Yeah.
So that's my kind of take.
Same thing with music.
I think it changes the atmosphere of the room.
I think it changes the atmosphere of your,
or I guess your mind, just in general.
Yeah, I think.
Yeah.
I love music and I love everything about every genre of music.
And I think in just this past year,
I have come to the like realization like wow I'm really making unconscious decisions and with my habits and like the things that I'm not supposed to be doing because I'm listening to stuff that's not holy and the stuff that's not like benefiting like my brain and my lifestyle and I'm not I'm listening to things that are extremely like there's not benefiting like my brain and my lifestyle and I'm not I'm listening to things that are extremely like there's
And so, um, that, you've seen the direct like impact. Oh, 100%. Yeah. I've seen the direct impact that
that it's, it's made on me and on a lot of people in our generation. It's just like I,
it's kind of shaped who you are in a way. It's kind of weird because like I'm,
I love hip hop and and I love Christian hip hop. I love secular hip hop. But there was one day like I was
drive, I was on my way to go work out. And like, that's what I listen to to work out. And I listen to
secular hip hop. And I throw, I throw some Christian hip hop in there. But then on the way, I was like,
man, I got to start listening to more uplifting stuff. And I remember watching one of your stories
and you're just listening to worship music. And I was like, I want to start doing that.
So I just, I deleted my entire secular hip hop plays that had like over.
eight hours worth of songs on there that I had like built up over the years. I just deleted it all.
And, um, and it's benefited me a lot and how I can just now, it makes it so much easier to,
in a drive, if I'm just hanging around the house, put on some worship music. It's so,
it's so easy. And I feel like it, it really alters your brain and your lifestyle and
it. Yeah. That's so cool. It's super weird, but it's like very impactful. Wow. It makes me think of your
first tattoo. Have nothing to do. Isn't it what the fruit? It's Evisions 5. Yeah. Have nothing to do with
the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It's really good. We talked about this on the,
on the duck car room podcast. We did. Did you really? Literally our very, most previous episode.
Ducco room crossover with our conversation.
awesome.
That's really cool.
It feels like cleanser is one of those skincare products.
We use every single day without really thinking that much about it.
We spend all this time picking out serums and moisturizers.
But meanwhile, the thing that we're actually using to take off all of our makeup can
leave us feeling dry and just not our best.
That's one reason why I'm really excited about Primely Pure's new jelly to milk cleanser.
Y'all, I love this stuff.
It starts as like a rich cleansing jelly and it turns into this silky, soft texture with
water. So it cleans your skin while still helping it feel hydrated, soft, and balanced. Honestly,
after I do it, I already feel like I put moisturizer on. It feels so good. It's made with
thoughtful ingredients, including a honey blend with raw honey that's really naturally rich and
antioxidants. And I love that primarily pure is a female founded company. Focus on fewer,
better ingredients and products that actually nourish our skin. And it says like jelly to milk,
and it actually does look like that. And I really like that. It feels so good on your skin.
I also am someone who used to put actual honey on my face because I feel like it helps so much.
So to not have to do with the stickiness, but to do with the benefits is really great.
I love the idea of making something that you already do feel more intentional without adding a bunch of steps to your routine.
And Promily Pure is all about that.
Use the code Woe to get 15% off your primarily pure purchase.
Again, that's Primally Pure Pure.
P-R-I-M-A-L-L-P-U-R-E dot com and use the code Woe.
I check out for 15% off your order.
Again, that's primarily pure.com with the code whoa.
I love hearing that from y'all.
Like, it's super cool to hear what God's done in y'all's life even recently because I
remember that for me.
Because I used to watch everything everybody else was watching, listen to everything
everybody else was watching.
And honestly, like, didn't even feel a conviction in it.
You know, I would watch Crazy Anatomy and scandal and all that stuff back in high school
and didn't even like think, oh, I shouldn't necessarily be.
watching this even though it was bad and now like I can't watch that like I don't want to watch
it you know I'm like no I would feel so uncomfortable to watch that because I'm so much more I'm just
a lot more like I care about what like the state of my mind and my heart and once you like know
what it feels like to like have peace and like have just like the fruit of the spirit it's like you don't
want to do anything to like compromise that it's like no I don't really want that and I was
thinking about, I was in this Bible study last week, Oneika McClellan leads it. It's on Thursdays.
It's on Zoom. Anybody can join. It's Shoreline's Orchard. Is that an Orchard Girls Bible study?
Anyways, it's so good. And she was talking about how like praying that God would change your taste
buds. And she was talking about like in a diet, if you go from like eating sugar all the time to
like no sugar, it can feel like, oh my gosh, like it's so hard at first because you're like dying to what
you love. But then over time, like, the Lord changes your taste buds. And it's like, oh, that doesn't
even taste good anymore. I don't even crave that anymore. And it's the same thing with, like,
music and shows that you watch. Like, at first, it's like, oh, that's going to be hard because
I just deleted eight hours of something that I've spent so much time building up this playlist.
But it's like, oh, I don't even crave that anymore. Like, that doesn't even taste good like it used to,
you know? And it's so true. Like, sometimes you have to make that hard cut and it's going to be hard
because you're like dying to self.
But then God gives you new taste buds.
He gives you a new appetite for the things that are pleasing to him,
to the things that are holy,
to the things that actually fill you up.
And then it's like, oh, I don't want anything artificial.
Like I want something that fills me.
Yeah.
And I've experienced that in my life.
That's great.
That's good.
The amount of random thoughts I've had since we started talking about this question
because there's so many, at least in my mind,
and I'm trying to articulate everything I'm thinking,
because it's more nuanced
than I think people want to give it credit for
but I think in saying it's more nuanced
people might hear that I'm trying to blur the lines
so my point is
watching Paw Patrol or Spider-Man
is different than watching Wolf of Wall Street
Yeah which is secular
It's not like a Christian show
Or me listening to Ed Sheeran
It's different than me listening to future
or some other derogatory rap person
So my point is kind of like what Abby said
you have to find that conviction level for you.
And I'm not saying, you know, I think, I don't want the person to hear.
It's like, it will teeter the line as close as you can get.
That's not what I'm saying.
But I do think that there are certain circumstances to where it's like, yes, this is actually just awful for you.
And this is something that it's like you can still be in the world, but not of the world.
And I think sometimes when you separate yourself so much, you do lose a sense of,
awareness, a sense of relatability, even from the sense of like you have Paul in the New Testament
who can relate to things that Athens and Greece was doing with games and Paul talking about
athletes and stuff of athletics because he understood the culture of stuff. And I think something
that your family does a good job in is that with secular things, it's you always try to pull
truth out of it. And it's whether it's watching some secular movie, it's, okay, how,
where do you see Jesus in this?
Where do you see, like, what's a messaging that you can actually, you know,
take and pull lessons from?
One of the best, like, ways to get analogies that really open people's eyes,
especially in this generation, like, one of my favorite ones was, like, preaching on Moana,
you know, because people are talking about Moana.
And then when you have an analogy that represents something, some aspect of the heart of God,
and people can go, like, oh, I recognize that.
Just like in the Bible, like Jesus would use parables, and it would be, like,
relatable things to them at the time. Whereas like some of the parables don't seem relatable to us
because that's not what we do in our day, but we understand what he was saying. But to them,
it would have been like, oh, I got it. Like, that's what I see every day. So it is really cool,
because you can see God and all of those things. But I do agree with you. Like there is such a
difference. Like, for instance, Kit, Kit's a little worshiper. Like this morning we're listening
to worship. She has her hands raised in the air. She says like, Jesus. Like she loves Jesus. She loves
to worship. But that girl's favorite song is London boy about Taylor's.
Swift. Every time she hears that beat, you know, I love my London boy. She's dancing. And, like, I don't feel
bad that she's listening to London Boy. You know, it's a secular song, but she's just, like,
dancing and having fun. And so I do think it would be different if I was, like, playing some Sabrina
Carpenter super inappropriate, you know, it's like, you got to weigh that discernment.
It's kind of like when you were talking about, well, it's like, for me, I would find myself listening to,
at least early on in my walk, these terrible rap songs. And it's like, well, then I'm,
Well, then it's like, no wonder I'm wanting to go watch pornography or I'm lusting or I'm having these thoughts.
Well, I just listen. While I was working, I was listening to an hour of a rapper talk about these awful things.
And it's like, oh, well, that's why I'm thinking these things.
But even when I was reading the question, I was thinking about it even for me being in college of like, you're in secular classes all day listening to secular professors.
And it's like there, you can't just separate yourself so much to where it's like you can't be.
in those settings. So that's why I'm talking about not blurring the lines because I took so many
colleges in college that were like, you have to learn how to be in those settings and not let that
dissuade you. So I think sometimes if you just fully exclude yourself from it, then it's like when
you are put in the position to where it's like you do have to endure something like that, you don't
know how to handle it in a healthy way. So yeah. It's good, babe. So good. All right, shall we move
on? Okay, this is a question that we get asked a lot. And it's, is it true that attraction grows over time?
Because a lot of people call in and they're like, okay, there's this guy or there's this girl and they have so many qualities that I like, but I'm not like physically attracted.
And it's like, is that a deal breaker or can that grow? And it's a tough spot for some people to be.
And anybody has some advice on that? That's so tough. I think.
that's real idea to say that's tough
I was like do I think
Wilta's hot today
as I did when I first
I'm not gonna lie
I mean I'm not saying that I didn't
I find very I found you very attractive
whenever we were just friends
and I think
from that instance
of me still just like baseline
yeah I find you attractive
but as our relationship grew
it was finding, it was seeing more and more ways of like, holy cow, like she's very, like,
it more ways.
Attraction did grow.
Attraction.
Attraction.
Attraction.
Attraction.
A traction did grow.
Attraction did grow as our relationship was progressing.
But I don't think there was a point in time for me where it's like, it was like, yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know.
But like put yourself in in the person's shoes that's asking this.
Yeah.
they aren't thinking that their connection is attractive or they're not.
Yeah.
I think,
okay,
that is hard because I do feel like that would be a really tough position.
It'd be like,
man,
I really do like some of the qualities.
I'm just,
like,
not attracted.
Yeah.
But I do think attraction can grow.
And I think it's the same way as,
like,
your taste buds change.
I actually pray this when I pray for our girls and, like,
their futures and, like,
who they're going to marry one day.
I'm like, Lord, I pray that they would be attracted to the things of you and unattracted to the things that are not of you.
Like, that's a prayer.
I pray for them.
Because I think about myself in high school and you start to become attracted to the things that aren't good for you instead of attracted to the things that are.
I think for you, like, this is kind of a funny thing to say.
But like, you had a type before me and I wasn't really that type.
But you were very attracted to me.
And so I think that proves like there is an attraction for the things.
that are not good for you, and there's an attraction to the things that are good for you.
So I think you should pray, like, Lord, give me an attraction to the things that are of you.
And if this is a person that I could potentially spend the rest of my life with,
like, help me to become physically attracted.
And I think that the Lord can enlighten your eyes to be attracted to the things that maybe you didn't see before
or you might see them in a new light.
And so I actually do think that can grow.
I think prayer can come with that.
I also think your relationship, like, if they're a friend, I've heard people say this.
Actually, like, I've, some of my very close friends who are married now, I remember when they
were, before they even dated, and they just were like, I just don't, I can never see myself kissing
them.
Like, they're just like my friend.
Well, of course, because you've never seen them as a girlfriend or a boyfriend.
So, like, go on a date and then see if you can see that.
And now they're married.
So, yeah, maybe you've never, like, given that space yet, like, actually go on a date.
like change the setting if you've only seen them as a friend change the setting to be a little romantic.
If it's like, nope, that did not work, then you know.
And if it's like, oh, our attraction grew, then like, step in.
So I don't think it's like dooms day.
I think you have a chance.
Yeah.
I don't think it's time to, like, call it off.
Yeah.
Like just keep pursuing if it's your person, then, like, it will grow, I think.
Yeah.
And it's so true that, just judy is fleeting.
You know, we all know that.
Yeah.
We all know that.
We're not going to look the same forever and accidents can happen at any time.
And so obviously, like, if everything else is there, I would definitely continue to pursue
because that matters genuinely so much more.
I feel like more and more I want to know where the things that I'm bringing into our home
actually come from and especially the food we're eating.
That's something that I really appreciate about good ranchers.
They are helping connect American families with American farms and ranches by delivering
100% American meat straight to your door.
Because the truth is, there is a lot of imported beef coming into the U.S. recently,
and once it reaches to the grocery store, it may not always be obvious where it's actually
come from.
With Good Ranchers, there's no guessing.
I love being a good rancher subscriber because it means there's never a shortage of
great-tasting American meat in our freezer.
They partner with more than 100 local farmers and ranchers, and their meat is pasture-raised
with no antibiotics and no added hormones.
Y'all, I am the biggest Good Rancher fan.
Like, truly, this is a good rancher fan.
Like truly, this has leveled up our life.
Having good meat in the freezer always, like I can always whip up some great meal.
It's just amazing.
We have like steaks that are so good.
Also, their bacon is my favorite bacon ever.
It is a fan fave.
And then if you're not feeling like a steak dinner, don't worry.
They have the best chicken nuggets ever.
Even just their chicken that you can get, their chicken breasts, having good chicken in your
free freezer is great.
Like, I am the biggest fan.
For a limited time, you can get a free ground beef bundle with your first Good Ranchers
order. That's four pounds of 100% American Angus ground beef to help stock your freezer. All you
moms know, this is great. You got taco, spaghetti, all kinds of things you can do with that.
Just visit good ranchers.com slash woe to claim your free ground beef bundle. Plus, when you start a plan,
you'll get free meat with every single order. Remember, that's goodranchers.com slash woe for your
free four pound ground beef bundle. Again, that's good ranchers.com American meat delivered.
Yeah, well, and I'll say, I mean, I think the attraction grows from the standpoint of, like, you putting yourself in situations with someone that you do see more of their character and certain things to where it's like people, guys in the past or girls in the past that have done one thing that you thought was attractive.
But then as you realize that that's not good for you.
So if you're a girl listening and the guy, you think the guy's attractive that, you know, he's more of the, you know, he's more of the,
you know, bad boy type of whatever and gives you weird vibes at times. And it's like you,
you like, you know, the chase kind of thing in a way. Then as you meet a guy who's maybe
you don't find him as attractive, but he actually pursues you. He opens your door for you. He,
you see him be protective in situations where the other guy you were with kind of just shuts down.
And that's what you, that's what forms the attraction. But yeah, I do think the physical attraction
grows over time to where you put yourself in the situation with someone that, you,
you see more of their character outside of just the friendship side of things.
And I see, yeah, I think you see the way that they treat you and love you and defend you
and protect your thing.
That's where the attraction grows.
But you'll never know that if you don't put yourself in those situations.
True.
That's great.
Word.
Word.
Okay.
On this note, how do you know if it's a red flag or a deal breaker?
I want to answer this one.
Okay, hot take.
Okay.
He said, I'm ready.
All right.
It is a red flag or a deal breaker.
I don't know what you're about to say, but I know you can be ready for this.
I'll say, if the person is untrustworthy, it is a red flag and it's a deal breaker.
To where it's if you're constantly having to wonder what they're thinking, where they're at, what they're doing,
if there's no accountability for any sort of friends, I think it's a red flag.
And my point with that is when we're dating, you're in a different place, I'm in a different place.
if if if if if I tell you one thing and then you find out I'm doing another thing and that repeatedly
happens again then there's no trust so I think the biggest red flag is if you find you can't trust
a person in the dating process you'll never trust them in the married process and if you convince yourself
that you're just going to form all this trust whenever you get married it's not true so I think for me
the biggest that's just the biggest red flag is if there's breaches of trust repeatedly no accountability
no humility,
it's a red flag.
That's good.
I think that's the deal breaker.
It's like,
if you can't trust the person.
Yeah.
So.
I think too,
like confusion.
Like someone who's just,
you know,
you're never sure if they're going to text to you.
It's just like they're playing with your emotions.
Like,
you have to guard your heart.
Your heart is the well-spring of your life.
Like,
protect your heart.
Like,
stand up for your heart.
Stand up for yourself.
I think so many girls and guys just,
you know,
it's like oh that's just how dating is these days you know it's like that's how people are going to be
that's not how everybody's going to be that's not how your person has to be so i'm not saying like
break up without having a conversation like you could maybe have a conversation but that's not
respected and if your heart's not respected deal breaker because that person has got to come in and guard
your heart as well yeah i think too many people would just let people just stomp all over their heart
that's the most protected that's the most like treasured place for you it's where everything comes
from.
Yeah.
So I think that's a deal breaker that I don't think people think is a deal breaker.
I mean, people are too okay with that.
It's not okay.
It's rude.
That's good.
Do you have any red flags?
You're wearing green, so we don't want to talk about green flags.
Okay.
We can tell you about some green flags.
And a red cup.
What are your red flags?
Red flags?
I would say if you're not like, well, I don't know.
It's hard to answer.
like now with a husband and like trying to go back to dating but i think if you're not like thinking of
your other person i feel like that's a red flag because you just you want that in a husband you want
that and a partner you want them to consider you just like they do the lord hopefully like i think
that's probably the the top one that comes to my head for sure it's good i don't know
Oh gosh
I feel like we hit them good
Yeah we hit it
We hit the big ones
Yeah
Okay
Christian laid the hammer
Let Christian just said
Let me tell you
Don't be a liar and don't be manipulative
Let me tell y'all something
Those are definitely big red flags
Okay
This is kind of a life update
And makes him with a question
Bob you got a new job
I got a new job
What?
I got a new job
Um, you said that was so funny.
Sorry.
Uh, yeah.
So I am a part of team, but commander.
Let's go.
Um, I am working in the media space, the creative space, social media, other things like that.
And just, yeah, that's pretty much it.
You got your first rude comment today.
I got my first negative comment on the TikTok I made.
on the Buck Commander TikTok.
So if you're,
if you ever want to check them out on TikTok or Instagram,
I made my first video.
And I got the word corny.
I woke up this morning.
We were late to taking the kids to school.
Open Instagram,
I was like, you know, barely awake.
Top comment was this dude is so blank three letters.
You can fill in the blank.
First thing I woke up to this morning.
And guess what?
my day was going great and it was still going great
didn't affect me at all that's great
I have to circle back because a lot of people
comment on it as it was so sweet when you were like
And the word it rhymes with a ray
We got it, thank you
We got it
We got it
I didn't know where you were going
People were calming that day that you were like
Has anybody actually ended up having a worst day
After Sadie says
I hope you're having a great day
But for usual, it's so much better.
So many, like, so many people thought that was so funny that you said that.
And they were like, Christian, yes, that's so real.
So thank you for serving the real stuff, Christian.
Yeah, you're welcome.
That just made me laugh.
Yeah, I woke up this morning.
I was like, oh, no, I, there was like one comment and like maybe four new followers,
which, you know, it's not the best when you wake up in the morning, but it's okay.
And I was like, one comment, which, that goes into our next question.
I know.
That was why I was throwing that little nugget in there.
That's what I was doing, too.
We're in the same page.
We're a team.
Here you think.
We're teasing each other, and it's just kind of exing it out.
So we need to do opposing teases, not simultaneous teases.
Okay, I'll throw this one to you again.
Catch it.
Well, that kind of segments into our next question.
Can Christians care about going viral slash gaining followers?
You know what's funny, too when I first read this, I thought it was, does Christian
care. Like, I thought they were talking about you. Does Christian care? Like, does Christian
tend to care about that? And I was like, yeah, he actually, let's talk about it. But this is good
for all of us because y'all are so good at TikTok, social media. That's like what you guys do.
And now, Will, you're doing it for Buck Commander. So, like, you're growing in that a lot.
Christian, you've been, like, doing such a good job with your social media as well. So this is good
for us to talk about. What do y'all think? Another hot topic for me to talk about.
But I will let Abby start.
I'll say it's good to care.
I think not caring is a little weird.
But I think the question you have to ask yourself when you're like, maybe you're creating content or you're just being yourself or maybe you're just posting like your life for your people is who's getting the glory for this.
And how important is it?
like if if God doesn't give me these followers or if these people don't follow me,
then like am I still okay?
Like is it affecting my personality?
Is it affecting like who I think I am who God says I am?
I think that's the difference between like being healthy and caring about gaining followers
or trying to go viral or being on social media.
It's good.
It's really good.
I'll take a, uh,
I'll take a snippet of one of Ella worship songs.
It's called followers.
I don't care if it costs me followers.
Exactly.
You're the way that I'm walking.
You're the way that I'm talking.
Yeah, I don't care if it costs me followers as long as I'm following you.
Yeah, I think that's, I think that's one of the realest ways you can be like as an influencer.
and seeing like how critical a lot of people can be in posting just the
the realness of your life.
And I think for some reason, I mean, I feel like a lot of people can be critical on Christians
and living and having certain lifestyles.
And yeah, I just, I feel like you never have to chase the approval of the people that
are always liking and commenting and having something to say about what you're sharing in your life,
just because, I mean, Jesus already gives you that approval every single day.
And, you know, I feel like that's my, that's my take.
It's good.
Okay, if you are a pumpkin spice person, this is such a fun one for fall.
Sava just launched their pumpkin spice protein.
Hallelujah.
It gives you all the cozy fall flavors.
without the questionable ingredients or crazy amounts of sugar and other pumpkin spice treats.
It's made with 100% grass-fed bone broth, organic pumpkin, and real organic spices like cinnamon,
ginger, and nutmeg.
It's also dairy-free, gluten-free, has zero sugar and no artificial flavors.
That's pretty impressive.
I love how versatile salve protein is.
You can mix it into your coffee or a smoothie or use it in fall recipes like muffins or snack bars.
So if you're already loving pumpkin spice season, this is such an easy way.
to get that flavor while still being intentional about what's going in your body.
If that wasn't enough, Sava now has a lot more things for the kids.
They have a whole kids on it just dropped.
I love their options for different parts of their daily routine, like everyday wellness mixes,
immunity mix, and even a melatonin-free sleepy time mix for bedtime.
And my girls are loving it.
It's so fun.
We really love everything Sava has to offer.
I'm super excited about the pumpkin spice because I've always made pumpkin spice muffins using their
protein powder, but I just used the vanilla, but now I have the perfect match for it. So I'm pumped.

I think you should care more about your content than your followers. Like you don't do
anything for the approval of man. Like if you, if you, you should, you should, you don't do anything for the approval of
man.
Like, if you're honoring the Lord in what you're posting, I believe he'll grow that.
And like, if you're following the Lord, then other people will naturally follow you.
Like, I think as long as your source, your, your approval that you're seeking is the Lord's
approval, then I think that's the most important thing.
I agree.
I think you should totally care about your content.
You should care about what you're putting out there.
Yeah.
But you shouldn't put way into how it performs.
forms always because to me that's that's not even like it's like that's not the part of your job
yeah like that is like either the lord's going to send it out or the algorithm's going to send it out
or it's not all i can be in control of is the content i put out and then at the end of the day
it be like proud of what i put out and i think like back in the day there was such a thing where it
was like oh if it didn't get enough likes like delete it or whatever and now it's like no
just let it be like let it live because also just like study content and
over time, you start to gain people's trust.
And when people go look at your page and you might have the one viral theme,
but then they're going to keep scrolling, like, do they put other stuff out?
So like, what did they post when no one was watching, you know?
And that's what kind of like builds your following as a person instead of just like,
oh, I just went viral.
Or it's like, no, I actually have like grown a platform that's sustainable.
But I always go back to Psalms 127 unless the Lord builds the house, the labor is labor in vain.
So it's like, God has to build the house.
and you can just do the best that you can do,
show up, work for the Lord,
as if you're working for the Lord, not for man.
So I'm doing this for the Lord
because God put this in me to do,
but I'm not doing this for the approval of man.
And I think, too, like you have to realize,
you know, people make all these big statements.
Like, you'll be like, you know,
you see influencers like, oh, I'm going to lose so many followers for those
or I lost some of followers.
And like, I never make those posts,
but I lose so many followers all the time.
And then I gain so many followers, you know?
And I wish people could see, like,
every month when my Instagram gives me the report.
And it's like, you lost 25,000 followers.
Oh, my gosh.
No, literally, like, I'll lose, like, $25,000 a month.
And then I'll gain, like, 30,000.
And it's crazy.
But it's like, I don't put, I can't sit there and be like,
well, why did 25,000 people unfollow me?
I have no idea.
But out of however many people, 25,000 people,
maybe with some accounts where, like,
getting deleted on a Sierra,
maybe some people were like,
I don't know why I followed her anymore.
I followed her 10 years ago.
I don't watch the show anymore.
I don't this.
It's not personal.
And I think that like, speaking of my book, it's not personal.
Thank you.
But like sometimes we put too much weight on that.
And I think if you start to like work for the approval of man, it will drive you
crazy and it will drive you to become somebody that you're not.
You were never meant to be.
When I was on Dance with Stars, it was like the best example of the fact that people
are fickle.
Like week one on Dancing with the Stars, I was like so well loved by the audience because
I think I was like a surprise to the audience.
audience. People didn't really know who I was. I was just like the Duck Dynasty kid and I didn't
have dance experience. So everyone was like, she's amazing and like she's this light in the world and she's
doing so good. And then week two, I did this dance that like people did not like as much,
especially the Christian community. And then I was like she's terrible. Like she's, you know,
it was like the worst criticism. I got low scores. Like it was just like so bad. And then week three,
I was like so embarrassed and like how do you even go back into like a live TV show if you got so much
hate the week before and then everybody
love me again. It was like better scores
love from the world. It was just a
really good picture of like
how fickle people are. So
they will love you one minute, they can turn
on you the next. I feel like even
just this summer we experienced
that. I was even talking to my
counselor to be vulnerable here and I was like I feel
like I felt when I was on days with stars
because it was like we went
through this crazy thing with Kit and we had like
so much love coming towards us
and then like during that time
a podcast thing was posted of me, this clip, and it ended up getting like so much hate from the church.
And it was like all these pastors making these reels about me.
And it was like so hard emotionally because I'm like on one hand, like we're going through
something like really hard and getting so much love and appreciation.
On the other hand, I'm like getting so much hate.
And I just remind myself like, okay, this platform is not where like I go to listen to like
approval or like to go and get advice or like I got to like go talk to my people I need to go see like
what my friends think what my mentors think like I need to go sit in church and just like be with the
body of Christ and when I stopped like you know being online just like put my like was like
planning where my feet are I felt like I was just so much more grounded. It's just a good reminder like
if you are trying to grow a platform or you have a platform like these are things that are a struggle
you do have to wrestle with.
Like, it's not just, it's easy to be like,
oh, yeah, I don't care.
But you do care.
And there's aspects to it that you should care.
For sure.
And there are aspects to it that you have to lay down.
Yeah.
For sure.
Yeah.
I'll start by saying the videos that I've made
trying to go viral have flopped
and the videos that I never thought would do well
are the ones that ended up going viral.
To the point to where it's, you know,
you can only manipulate your content so much.
And I think the thing that's,
that bothers me, especially about Christians trying to go viral and getting influences to where
when you do have that moment of going viral and then you just try to recreate it, then I think
there's habits to it of where you lose yourself in the process of trying to attain it.
So whether you're the person that, you know, you spoke out against something politically and then
people loved it. Well, now all your content is just riddled with you posting political stuff
and being more divisive because people like it.
and that's the thing. It's like people do love that division. And I think sometimes people try to feed that.
And like what you said, I had a moment two weeks ago where I posted all, I mean, when I said awful, it was like, so I deleted it.
And then I was like, man, I shouldn't have deleted that. But it was because I did, I did care that it didn't do as well as I thought I was going to. So maybe I'll repost again in a couple weeks and see if it does, see if it does well. And I shouldn't have done that because I did want it to, to, you know, to, to, to, you know, to, to, to, to, to, to, you know, to, to, to, to, to.
do well. And not that there's always wrong with, you know, with wanting things to perform well
and to get the reach out and those kind of things, but I do think that it can become crippling
to where you do manipulate your content towards like, this is going to do well. And at the end of
the day, like Sadda said, you're at the hands of either an algorithm or of God sending it out
to people. And I think the moment you think you have the algorithm figured out and you try to teeter
to that, you end up becoming miserable because it doesn't work out.
And two, you just spin your wheels trying to recreate what happened the first time.
And I think it's an unhealthy state to film content and always having your mind, I'm going to do this to go viral.
Not that going viral is a bad thing, but I think it's when you change who you are to fit that mold to what people want.
I think that's a dangerous spot to be in.
Yeah, you don't want to build a platform on a version of yourself that's not authentic to who you really are just because people like that version of yourself.
Then you're going to be chasing something.
that's not you.
And like at the end of the day, you know, you're putting out something that's like a
representation of you.
So when people meet you, like they're meeting you, not the version of you, you put
online.
So there's just not longevity in that.
So I think that's just important to keep in your mind.
But it's really a conversation.
And it really is, it really is a tough one.
Well, how it starts is I can be a pretty confrontational person.
So if I'm like, I want to go build a platform on, like, like, like, something like these
hot topics like what's a red flag can christian listen to secular music it's like if i if i think like
i'm the one that's going to go speak into this thing good motive but then when it becomes i'm going to
this is going to become who i am and i realize that people like it when i say the hot thing
then you just end up like that becomes who you are and i think that can become a dangerous thing
to when it's like you only like at that point you're only doing it to go viral you're only doing it to go
viral and I think that just becomes a dangerous spot so that's true that's just my personal
opinion putting an accent to lighten the blow this is my personal opinion have you all seen
those videos and it's like an accent to make things a lot of serious it's so real we all do it
this family is on the brink of civil war mobland the hit original series is now streaming on

That new season is now streaming on Paramount Plus.
Okay, this is a little bit of a lighter topic, but not to some people.
Some people, this is a really big topic.
In fact, it's such a big topic.
We have been asked this question so many times through voicemail that we want to cover it.
And it's going to be interesting to cover it, Will.
Abby before having kids because sometimes we have an idea of what we're going to do before
kids and it changes when we have kids, which I feel like Christian and I have experienced this.
So the question that you've all been dying for us to answer.
Drum roll, please.
Santa Claus!
Oh, ho!
Santa!
Merry Christmas!
Oh my gosh!
That was epic.
Will you tell your kids about Santa?
This is such a hot topic, y'all.
And, you know, the parent in Sturm culture, it is a hot one.
So I would love to hear your thoughts.
Free kids, what you think you're going to do around the topic of Santa Claus, and then we'll share ours.
We've talked about it a little bit, but not a lot.
Obviously, because we don't have kids yet.
But I think right now what I'm leaning towards is to tell them about Santa.
Also, I want to say this does also completely depend on their personalities.
Like, it's true.
If they are very susceptible to lies, get very hurt when their total lie or a fib or something that is lighter, it won't hurt them.
But like, if they're very affected by that, I would say this will be probably pretty different.
But I think the main reason for Christmas is Jesus.
I think having that as our first priority is like our main goal.
But then also I can't imagine our kids' lives.
like growing up, I can't imagine my life growing up without like the magic of Christmas and like
the joy that comes from like giving and receiving gifts and Santa.
It's just, I just can't imagine like life without that.
So I'd say we probably will introduce Santa to our kids depending on their personalities.
It's good.
And have Jesus as like the main obviously reason for the season.
Yeah.
It's great.
I love it.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think I agree.
I think it was interesting growing up, believing in Santa and then coming to the realization that he was not, in fact, real.
Which was a bomb dropped on me by Sadie and Bella.
It was actually me who told him.
It was Sadie and Bella dropped that bomb.
And it's so sad because I was really excited to tell you and did not go over.
age.
Do you remember?
I think chances
in like middle school.
Dude.
It was time.
It was time.
It was time.
It was time.
It's me and Belle Lydden.
They both knew.
Yeah.
But like,
I want to say it was like
eight,
nine,
10.
I don't know.
I'm not sure.
But I remember it was heartbreaking.
But then I very quickly
got over it.
Yeah.
But I think,
I don't know.
I just,
I think there's always going to be
the,
the one side of people saying, no, we're not going to share.
That moment, we're not going to say, oh, there's Santa with Christmas.
Because then once they break the news of, oh, Santa's not real, well, then they're going to be like,
is Jesus?
Is God?
Is God real?
But I feel like for me, I never thought of it that way.
But like growing up in a Christian household, I think our parents did a really good job of the balance
of things that we celebrated on the other side of just like holidays and stuff like that.
But when it came down to it of the real reason of most of the things that were happening in
the world, that it's all because of the Lord.
And it's all because of Jesus and for what he did on earth.
And I'm thankful that they taught us that.
And we still know that God is very real.
and he is the reason for all the seasons.
That's good.
That's good.
I think our family is a good family to ask this question too
because between our siblings,
we actually all do it differently.
Some people have told their kids, like, you know,
it's not real, it's mommy and daddy, like that kind of thing.
And then others have, like, kind of been really excited about it
and all the different things.
And so we am, this is, by the way, like almost every topic.
And parenting, that's a hot topic in the world.
Between our siblings, we've parenting.
different, which I think is really sweet because we all love each other so much and we agree on
the main things. And then we do certain aspects of life a little differently and we respect each
other for that. So I don't think there's like a right and a wrong way. Like I don't think
you're wrong if you do it and you're like wrong if you don't do it, whatever it is. But Christian
and I, we can share. But it's so. I do think if you're wrong if you constantly cast judgment
on the other person. So I will say. Yeah. We're not like wrong if you do sin or not. But I'm saying
like obviously you can do it the wrong way if you're judgmental and all that kind of stuff.
But I think like for us, we, I went in being like, oh, for sure we're doing something like,
I can't even imagine not having Santa Claus is so fun.
It was some magic Christmas.
And I was also the kid, by the way, that whenever I did find out, I was like, was God real?
I actually did go there.
But then I was like very quickly, okay, yes, these are two different things.
Like, okay, I understand.
And so, yeah, I had that thought, but that didn't, like, I didn't dwell on it.
It didn't change me.
Like, it was good.
And I was the one that told you.
I was the one that told our cousin, Allie.
I would always get the permission from the parents to tell all of our little siblings and cousins.
Allie was the funniest.
She was like, what?
Mother Nature, Father, Time.
I was like, no.
Oh, from the Santa Claus movies.
Santa Claus movies.
Oh, man.
Which is crazy because the Santa Claus movies are my favorite Christmas movies of all time.
Especially the second one.
Same.
And I use an analogy from Santa Claus in my book.
It's not personal.
It's on pre-sell right now.
You can go buy anywhere books sold.
But not what we're talking about.
But no, actually, so I would just thought like for sure.
And we do love Santa Claus.
In fact, you can tell me about your new tattoo here in a second.
We're also an elf on the shelf.
Oh, we're on the shelf.
Oh, we're a heart where we love it.
I go all out.
And I love it.
We have elf on the shelf.
He stays.
We have elf on the shelf, and we also have Snoop on the stoop.
We have a snoop dog
They stay in one place
What was our else name again?
Wait
Why am I forgetting
I can't remember
Ours
Elfred right
Our friend
That was ours
That was our family
Chippy Collins
Chippy Collins
Chippy Collins
Because that's actually from the movie
Chippy is from the elf movie
And Collins is their best friend
So they named him Chippy Gollens
And we go all out
It's the elf movie on Netflix.
It's like the elf on the shelf movie.
Oh, the elf.
Oh, okay.
And they love it.
So Chippy Collins?
We go all out.
But I will say we are very big on like, this is the magic of Christmas.
But like, God and Jesus are the reason for Christmas why we celebrate.
This is just the Christmas fun.
It's just the byproduct.
It's the fun.
It's the magic.
But like one day Honey was crying because she was scared of Santa Claus coming.
And I was like, it's just pretend.
It's just fun.
And like, I told her that.
That's good.
And she never was like, he's not real.
She was just like, okay.
And then the next year, she was bought it in again.
It's like, let's ride later.
It's just Santa Claus.
Let's do Chippy Collins.
Let's do the whole thing.
So I always made it light.
Like, it's just fine.
It's just pretend.
Just like I would, just like I tell her.
Like when we were at Disney World and we were on the Little Mermaid ride,
she's so scared at Ursula.
I'm like, it's just pretend.
It's just the magic.
It's just the fun.
So I use Disney kind of as a correlation to Santa because I'm always like, it's like,
it's magic.
It's fun, but it's not really real.
Like you're not going to meet.
Elsa in real life.
And then she was like, but we did it.
Disney World.
And I was like, you're right.
Pretend Elsa.
So it gets kind of hairy there because then she's like, wait, is she real?
Is she not real?
But all that to say, we keep it light.
We keep it fun.
It's all just fun.
But Honey wrote a letter to Santa Claus last year.
It was the sweetest thing ever.
We put it in the mailbox, went to the North Pole, the whole thing.
And Christian just got Honey's name that she wrote on her letter to Santa Claus tattooed on him.
Sweet.
That was her signature to Santa.
She's just the innocence of childhood.
That's so sweet.
So we think Christmas is so fun.
We think Santa Claus is fun.
We think Chippy Collins is the greatest.
I remember writing a letter to Santa and getting it back very quickly.
Mysteriously quickly from the Northville.
Now too, if it's like if someone tells honey in a situation and she comes up to us,
we're not going to be like, you have to believe this.
Like this is true.
You know, I think there's like, I think there's definitely aspects of it that, like, we're not going to force them to believe this thing.
No, we just keep it fine.
I literally told her last year it was pretend.
I remember after learning that Santa was not real, and then it was like everybody else was, well, not, like, all the other holiday beings.
I was like, well, over time, I was like, oh.
So mom puts.
the money under the pillow.
I also can't wait to do that.
And then I'm like, oh.
It'd be so fun.
Easter bunny.
And then the all that stuff.
You know what's crazy?
As a kid, I would like pull my teeth and put them under my pillow.
Never tell my parents.
So they just like noticed, I guess, and always had money under my pillow.
Or there was.
You would just pull your teeth and then just, no, not like.
Not like you just yank your teeth out.
She just re-entered?
No, I would lose teeth.
She just...
No.
No, but or it would be like, I'd do that and my parents would like come in.
I'd be like, there's no money under my pillow.
And they'd like make me go brush my teeth and there'd be money on the pillow and the tooth
would write a letter about how she forgot or how she was like running late or something.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh.
See, that's parent magic right there.
I just, I can't wait to do that.
For our kids.
I mean, that's just fun,
this lighthearted.
It's fun.
It's fun.
Yeah, yeah.
It's fun.
It's fun.
It's fun.
I would, like,
go to be waking the girls up and be like,
Chippy Collins didn't move last night.
I'd be like,
oh,
that's actually how I found out.
Me,
which I don't know if this is too much to share on the podcast,
but like.
It might be.
Okay.
You don't know what Shippy cut my underwear?
That was the funniest.
Is that what you're talking about?
No,
I didn't know what you were going to say.
Chippy cut my underwear.
I got scared because we share pretty much everything.
No.
Well, I'm saying Chippy cut my underwear, and then I walked out and just in my boxers in the morning and my booty was out.
And the girl thought it was the funniest thing ever.
And I'm like, that is peak.
His acting was peak performance.
That's peak childhood.
I'm like, that's one of the best memories.
He's like, is the device and Chippy is.
And he turns around.
It's so funny.
And Chippy had those scissors.
See, it's the greatest
Just imagine that you had chippy hanging from your
And honey talked about that every day from money
And she of course told the whole school
She told the whole school
Oh
Beauty
Yeah
Boots
See something like
That's the beauty of it
I don't want to neglect my child
It's the magic of Christmas
It was
It's a hairy Christmas
Sorry
Oh my
Oh my
Go.
I'll put your pants.
It goes.
All right.
