Wild Time.
Big, bing, bing, and ding, ding.
Nice.
Well done.
Add an extra drop to it.
Peter's recording a video on his phone.
What a weirdo.
Welcome to the Wild Times.
We are in the studio today.
We're hanging out.
I'm your host, Forrest Galante, the broologist.
I have with me the bro-ducer and the brofessor.
Hello.
Who's PhDed in fashion today.
Tight pants, tight shirts.
Tight everything.
Nice hair.
Your hair looks good.
Thanks.
You're feeling yourself today, huh?
Something to do with our new sponsor, raised by,
Well, yeah.
Yeah, you look good over there.
Sure it is, dude.
You do look nice.
You've been on a good diet?
What's going on?
Oh, yeah.
He's been on a hell of a diet.
The Taco Bell diet?
Dude, your text last night was hilarious.
Are you going to read it?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Do you have to do an intro or anything like that?
I think I just did it.
Okay.
Yeah.
So Peter texted me everything he's been eating.
Yeah.
This was yesterday.
He had a wild strawberry freeze from Taco Bell.
Uh-huh.
A soft taco.
No, two.
Oh, you're right, two.
Two soft tacos, two hard shell tacos.
Correct, yeah.
One cheesy gordita crunch.
One beef chalupa supreme.
And one Taco Bell cheesy Fiesta potatoes.
Oh, it's so good.
It was 2,000 calories.
That's a lot.
I was going to say, can you throw that in chat and get the macros?
Hang on.
Well, he's got it.
I've been logging it.
Oh, my God.
And then, hang on.
Five hours later.
Oh, no, Peter.
He went back into it.
No, Peter, not back to Taco Bell.
No.
a serving of pepperoni pizza, whatever that means.
It was two Marcos, pepperoni Magnifico slices.
And then another serving.
And then another serving.
Peter.
And then a classic root beer by Olipop.
Oh, so good.
And then about 20 minutes later, he had a serving of cheese pizza.
Peter.
And a classic grape by Olypop.
What would you do?
Okay, so first of all...
Wait, one second.
Go ahead.
Prior to the Taco Bell, I had a in-and-out four-by-four, which is...
No, you didn't.
I did.
It was like...
Yesterday?
What's a four-by-four?
This was Saturday.
Four burgers, four patties, four slices of cheese.
I did reduce it to two slices of cheese.
I don't know if they really did it.
I didn't pay attention.
It's called a four-by-two, sir.
Oh, the cheese is the other four?
Yeah.
I had no idea.
Yeah.
What else would be?
So you just, you just reduced the second number.
Can I get a four by four but make it two slices of cheese?
Is that what you said?
Well, I didn't order it.
My wife did.
That's insane.
I'm just going to order a four by two next time.
Isn't that too much meat?
That's a lot of meat.
Well, I needed, you know, I mean, I'd like to taste some bun.
Wait.
No, I had no body of those proteins.
I'm so confused, though.
You came in here, old-fashioned-eve stood out, looking good in your snug shirt and your tight pants.
Yeah.
And you just ate 9,000 calories yesterday.
How are you feeling yourself so much?
Dude, well, something happened.
Tell me.
No, tell me.
I'm curious about your thought process.
Kyle,
pull up P90X Kempo X.
I know what P90X is.
No,
but there's a specific video
that I do that's this one.
Okay.
And it burns like a thousand calories
and it's like an hour long.
That's not an excuse
to then eat 9,000 calories.
It wasn't like I went in in this manner.
It was like,
you know,
the food presented itself
and I couldn't control myself.
This is how you burn a thousand calories.
No,
that guy is.
He's leaving
Yeah, show us how to do it
Yeah, let's see it
Because that guy looks like he's doing Zumba
Okay
Okay
So dancing
No, but then you start throwing in punches
Okay
Now he's throwing air punches
He is
If you're just listening
You should be watching
Do you have to do the cute
little curtsy thing with your feet
Or was that just
Oh I see
Okay
Yeah
Now that's dancing
He's literally doing the twist
Yeah, I've done it.
This is a Zumba class, to be clear.
Full disclosure.
During the summer of Patrick and Peter,
where we literally spent three days a week together.
Just hanging out doing nonsense.
When he lived at the beach, I would go over there.
We would either work out in his gym and his apartment building,
or we would do a P90X video in his living room.
That's hilarious.
Yeah, it was fantastic.
This guy, this is not a good guy.
This is not like, this is Napoleon.
This is exactly what Tony Horton in the video says not to do.
He's like, you don't want to go like this.
He's like, you've got to put some into it.
Because you don't burn calories if you don't actually,
you don't want to bang the joints, though.
There's a lot going on that I'm trying to take in right now.
The diet, the P90X, the hair.
It's very animalistic.
No, look, I'm a fan.
I also had a summer of P90xing.
I did it like once every two weeks.
The Plyometrics, because that one's fucking brutal.
I don't know.
It was hard.
That's all I remember.
Listen, I'll say this.
If you want to get in shape, I 100% guarantee if you do the P90X program, it will work.
The thing is, nobody can do the fucking P90X program because it's like an hour and a half
of brutal fucking exercise a day, six days a week.
So it's like, of course, little work.
Does the 90 literally mean 90 minutes?
90 days.
Oh, I thought it meant 90 minutes.
How long is the workout?
Because that's a long workout.
They're all different.
There's six different workouts.
And dude, and on some of the days, you'll do, so they have like basically fucking
two cardio days and three fucking like resistance days.
What was the scenario in which you went to in and out Taco Bell and Marco's Pizza in one day?
That's like your entire day.
spent driving to fast food joins yeah well like I said this is this was actually even though
pat said yesterday like a week and a half ago when I went to that concert I we drove to the concert
and I got the in and out okay after the concert was Taco Bell okay so it wasn't actually five
hours later that I had the pizza that was 1230 at night that I had the Taco Bell before bed 2000
oh I thought it was a 1230 p.m and then I thought you lunch Taco Bell and then we were so fucking tired the
next day we didn't want to make dinner so we're like let's just
a pizza for the kids. The food you outline sounds
like a challenge to me. Like if
someone was like, can you eat this in a day?
I'd be like, nah. You can. I'd hurt the toilet.
You had six slices of pizza, though, right?
Well, no. So what I didn't send you was after
the pizza you read off, I had
last night, before bed, I ate
another like 700 calories worth of pizza.
Nice. Hey, Kyle. Sounds delicious.
What's in the news?
What's in the news?
Yeah, that was a snooze.
No, I thought it was really funny.
It wasn't that. It was more that. I'm excited about a new monkey.
I mean, I don't believe it. How could there be a new monkey, dude?
What is this world coming to? We've seen the monkeys. We've seen them all. Earlier last month, a new species of monkey was described coming out of the Congo, the Congolese forest. It had orange lipstick and funny looking hair. Let's get a pick, Kyle. So somebody had discovered it before, gave it a mohawk and a thing of lipstick.
Yeah, yeah, and then let it. It's really what it looks like.
I mean, it does appear to have applied a peach-colored lipstick.
Dude, the Washington Post is awful.
Every time I click it, all you get are these pop-ups where you cannot read the article.
It's insane.
Isn't that the one that Jeff Bezos bought?
I don't know.
I think so.
Did he?
I don't know.
Yeah, so anyway, this monkey is called the Lequelli.
Yep.
How could this thing have not been discovered?
It's a full-sized monkey.
I mean, it's in the Congo.
It's, you know, I have to imagine some pretty remote forests there.
Well, what happened?
So is this its own species?
are some kind of hybrid species?
So researchers spent four years
and walked over 3,000 miles
to confirm the species
that field observations
through field observations
genetic analysis.
So they knew it was there.
They had to confirm it.
They went, they covered 650 square miles
in the Lomami National Park,
spent a ton of time on it.
And yeah, got the genetics from it
and confirmed that its closest living relative
split off this family tree
five million years ago.
How do you confirm
something like that just by the
DNA? Yeah, you take the DNA
and you look at the lineage and say like
what is the closest living relative and you go, oh,
five million years ago, these two shared an
ancestor. So what I thought was interesting
about this is that, so by the
way, the monkey is really cool looking. It does
look like it as a Mohawk. It's about four feet
tall. Orange lips. Orange lips.
Love the lips. Cool hair.
But it has a tiny range.
Yeah. They're saying that
it's entire range
for the whole species is 650
square miles, which is small.
And they're saying they don't know much about its diet,
it's breeding, or why it keeps such a small range.
So like, do you think that the small, what would be a reason that it would have such a
small range?
Is it, would it be diet related?
Probably.
It only likes a certain...
Yeah, it's probably some factor.
I mean, as Kyle zooms out here, you can see on one side, there's a very clear geographical
barrier, which is the river.
Zoom back in, Kyle, to Lomami.
I'm curious if there's any big topocer.
changes or clearings or anything else on the other side.
I mean, you know, there's some stuff down there.
But if it was something obvious like that, then I don't think the article would say,
we don't know why it does this, right?
So it's probably to do with, and this happens a lot more than people realize,
there's probably a soil type in the area that grows certain vegetation that's conducive
to their living and diet and everything else.
And unless you were taking soil type samples from all over the region and then converting
that because, sorry, I should explain this.
You can have two different soil types and the vegetation that looks the same, meaning, say, it's all figs, taste or behave differently.
Right? It's like grapes and wine. When you grow grapes in California, they taste very different to grapes grown in Italy. It's to do with the soil type.
Right. Interesting. They have different tannin levels. They have different ammonia, not ammonia, nitrates, you know, all these various things. Same thing with the soil type all over the world.
So say these guys that are making this up, only eat figs.
The soil type could change from one area to another, and they could be adapted to only
eating one of those figs, even though the figs range for another 10,000 miles.
Does that make sense?
Yes, it does.
It's really interesting because, yeah, like the soil at my house, the area I live, it's very
heavy on clay.
And so it's just, that's weird.
No one gives a shit.
Diet and clay, baby.
Well, no, it's interesting because it affects the fruit trees.
Yeah, exactly, exactly.
Wait, so the fruit trees thrive better in clay?
No, they hate it.
Oh, okay.
So, like, I have, like, a 15-foot-tall lemon tree that only produces, like, four lemons a year.
Right, right.
And there's lemon trees at my house, you know, where the soil type's different, and we get a million lemons.
Right.
But lemons range the whole way.
However, that monkey could potentially only eat the lemons at my house or your house.
Do you know what I mean?
Interesting.
Yeah.
So they tracked it and took a bunch of pictures.
Are there any videos of this monkey?
I've only seen the photos.
I don't believe there are any videos.
I would love to hear what it sounds like.
It's interesting because we think, like Pat said, we know all the monkeys.
I bet you there's over a dozen species like this in the Amazon,
especially some of those small monkeys like tamarins and things like that.
I bet you there's well over a dozen.
Oh, there you go.
There's a video.
We got some sound on that there.
I was going to say, they spent four years.
They better have some video.
Is that?
Oh, it is making that noise like a frog.
It's rad.
Dude, the way that.
it looks like it has a beak with those lips.
It looks like a bird.
It's freakish.
It looks like a fucking bird.
It looks like a fucking bird.
Very photogenic, but on video,
it looks like a monster.
Yeah, in a bad way.
Photogenic in an awful way.
Jeez.
Orange cream lips.
So cool, though, man.
Yeah, it's rad.
Man, dude, like, there are,
I say it all the time,
but it's just unbelievable to me
that we don't know everything that's on the earth.
No, not even close.
With them. Like, I'm not like bigger animals even is even more shocking to me.
And that's becoming rarer and like less and less common.
That's why this is so cool.
It's still really rad. Yeah. Oh, it's very, very rad.
What in the world is that next headline you have there, Kyle?
Chinese man cooks expensive aruana after aquarium breaks. No, he didn't.
Dude, there's a video of the aquarium bursting.
Yeah. Let me see this guy cooking his. Oh, by the way, hold on, pause us for one sec.
you want to hear a hilarious invite I just got?
Sure.
Maybe we'll cut it in here if that's not too much editing.
Remember when we did a rant about expensive koi?
Yeah.
And people got very offended when I said like, you know, the koi at Petco would
probably win and nobody would know the difference.
Right.
Guess who got invited to go to where are we going?
I can't remember.
Somewhere in China to judge the world's leading koi show.
Straight across from Hong Kong.
It's Shang-Shang-Ju.
No.
I'm going to China in a couple months to judge a multi-million dollar koi competition as a celebrity judge.
Wow.
I know nothing about this topic.
Did they ask you, do you know anything about this?
Nope.
Nope.
They were like, we saw you despair.
You definitely were disparaging these fish.
We want to teach you a thing or two.
Yeah, maybe they're going to execute me.
I don't know, but I'm going to Gengju, China to judge, Kyle is going, to judge a koi show.
How hilarious.
as that. It's, it's so crazy. It seems like such an extravaganza. Well, the winner, remember we saw this?
The winner two years ago or three years ago got like $2.6 million or something like that. Yeah.
It was like an outrageous thing. Yeah, I'm going to go judge this. So what do you have to do?
I have no idea. Literally none. There's been no communication that is clear. The language barrier is
impossible. Like, I'm just going to show them and be like that one. And that's it. I know nothing else.
I know.
I mean, you're going to read up, right?
Like, I have to.
But, dude, do you know, Kyle, pull up a picture how many kinds of coy are there?
This is insane, by the way.
Oh, I believe it.
I mean, they've got this whole competition.
Look at this.
Holy shit.
I have to learn that.
I thought.
I have to learn this.
And by the way, those all have names.
And not names like, that's a fluffy coy.
Names like, zoom in on a name, Kyle.
Give me a name here.
Oh, that one.
Kumaru.
Oh, no.
Yep.
Well, you have to know the difference between a Kura Romano and a Kajai.
Joku. Exactly. And I can definitely remember both of those words. You got a little, you'll have a little cheat, cheat card. I'm going to have more than a little. I'm going to have a kail sitting there with a fucking thing in my ear going. That's a blah blah blah. You'll deaf be the Howie Mandel of the panel, right? I hope so. Yeah. No, I know exactly. I have to. Yeah, I have to. It's the only way. I can't try and. I mean, I've, I also said this. I'm like, I don't know anything about this topic. They're like, that's okay. Yeah. It's like, all right. It's funny because you're going to be in the position that I am on the. The.
podcast over there. Yeah, I guess. I'm actually very excited. I've never been to mainland China.
I do love coy, not that I know anything about them. I just think they're beautiful. Yeah.
And that's it. That's the extent of my experience. Oh, it's going to be awesome, dude. I mean,
it sounds really fun. And also, you'll learn a lot. I will definitely learn a lot or nothing,
one or the other. Okay. Back to the guy who ate his pet. So basically, this guy in China
has security cameras all over his house. Yep. He's a massive fish tank. Wow. Fresh
Stingrays,
arijuana,
all kinds of cool stuff.
So,
arijuana is one of the most expensive
aquarium fish in the world.
Indeed.
Especially the prized ones.
Up to $300,000 each.
Yep.
It's an Amazonian stingray.
Those are Amazonian freshwater rays,
yes.
So the guy's tank burst.
Sure did.
And his fish are all over the floor.
And he's just like,
fuck it.
I'm going to eat my $300,000.
But they died, right?
That's what I'm seeing.
It's like,
it wasn't like he was there
to scoop him up
and put him in a bathtub.
Yeah.
He was just like, okay, well, they're dead.
I might as well give it a whirl.
Yeah.
I think, honestly, dude, props to him.
Yeah.
It's like...
I actually respect it.
I mean, a lot of people would be like on their knees crying, like 300,000.
No, he might have done that too.
That's true.
What are tiger fish?
He had four tiger fish.
Oh, tiger fish?
I had the junior world record in tigerfish.
You speared?
No, I caught when I was 14.
That's a tigerfish, beautiful animal.
Oh, it's a big.
Oh, it's a Goliath tiger and his ambizi.
So those are the striped ones.
Those are the Zambezi, but then the one Jeremy Wade's holding is a Goliath tiger.
Type in Goliath Tigerfish so they can see what a big one looks like.
Dude, the teeth are like the size of pine cones.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
But there's only eight of them.
So or 10.
No, they get absolutely huge.
They're awesome.
By the way, I...
Look at that thing.
That's real.
That's not AI.
I would rather be bitten by something that had like 30 of those on the top and the bottom
than that.
Because it's just like a bunch of spears.
that are separated by an inch that would be stabbing you.
Yeah, I mean, I'm actually thinking that thing could probably take out a great white shark.
Yeah, big enough.
That's a riverfish?
It is.
Obviously, it was featured in river monsters.
It must be in a river.
Well, except that's confusing because Jeremy Wade now has a bunch of ocean shows, so it's very confusing.
Does he?
I didn't even know he'd resurfaced.
He hasn't in a long time because Animal Planet hasn't.
But he had river monsters ocean mysteries for a while.
That's right.
So that's confusing.
Have you ever met him?
Pat, we make predictions every single day about politics, pop culture, the economy, the biggest
stories making headlines.
Kelchie, America's number one predictions market platform, recent sponsor of the pod,
lets you trade those predictions in a live market, which I think is a lot of fun because I'm
not that into sports.
Well, it's not just sports.
Exactly.
Like, here's an example.
Forrest, is it going to rain today?
I'm going to say 0% chats.
Well, you can make predictions on that.
Boom.
Yeah.
and make some money.
You can trade whether it's going to rain.
Here's a fun one.
We are not cool enough to go to Coachella because it just actually looks awful.
I don't ever want to go.
Who's going to headline Coachella, the next Coachella, 2027?
Who's your prediction?
I think Grunge Rock is making a comeback.
I'm feeling radio head.
Like, I'd go to a radio head show.
I'm not cool enough, but I'd go.
So if you wanted to predict that, right?
Uh-huh.
Right now, if you predict.
radio head to headline Coachella,
if you did a $100 trade and you're right,
it's going to pay out $236.
Boom.
And one of my favorite band headlines.
It's like a win-win.
It's just fun if you like to predict.
If you're one of those people who always thinks you're predicting stuff
and you're right a lot,
Kelshi is really a lot of fun.
On Kelshi, you're trading against peers in a live market,
meaning there's no house.
And as the probability changes,
you can buy in and out of your position,

I haven't.
I walked by them in a hallway in the New York office of Animal Planet when they still had
that giant New York building.
And I was like, oh, sick, Jeremy Wade when I was like super novice.
Yeah.
And I was like, I hope I get to meet him.
that was it.
Okay.
Saw him in a hallway.
I never said hi.
He never said hi.
He had like 10 people with him.
What'd you mumble after that?
I'll be bigger than him.
No, I'm just a huge fan actually and wanted to talk fishing with him.
He seems pretty cool.
Yeah, he seems really cool.
So let me ask you this.
If your fish tank exploded, would you eat the fish?
No, but my biggest fish is about this pig in my fish tank.
Deep fry the little sucker, a little discus meal.
I mean, if you're a tiny fish, mate.
What if your blue-tonged skink?
No.
gross
no but I have done this
and I would do it again
fish have died in my tank
and I fed them to my turtles
to not waste it
and if my fish tank exploded
I would probably chop them up
and freeze everything
and feed it to the turtles
I mean it's definitely
what I mean
other than that
you fucking flush it down the toilet
that seems pretty unceremonious
that's all you can do
circle of life baby
you know when a brother
cousin dies
obviously the family eats him
so that's animals
you know
exploding
out, how about an animal exploding in?
What?
What?
Kyle, pull up the video of the guy or the liquor store in India.
Do you know what I'm talking about?
Watch this.
This is wild.
I mean, they say working at a liquor store is one of the most dangerous jobs in America.
Well, look at how dangerous it is in India.
Leopard in the liquor store.
And it's like full of attacking the guy.
Yeah, it just breaks fully into this tiny little liquor store and just grabs this guy.
Dude.
The guy's just restocking the shelf.
This poor guy.
And literally just a fucking leopard suddenly just comes up on him and attacks him.
That's crazy.
Wow.
So they, and then they had it trapped in the building.
And then, okay, and then like officials came out and they got it.
They got it in a net.
Oh, they must have tranked it.
They tranked it.
They caught it.
Put it into a cage movie.
It's probably at Ventara by now.
Yeah.
Because they kind of release these animals.
You know, once this happens, it's imprinted and all that.
They kind of release them.
Oh, interesting.
Yeah.
I didn't realize.
that. So once they attack a human, it's like humans are fair game. Just this whole general thing.
Once it's been in a city, been into a store, attack somebody, sort of learn that this is something
it can do, they won't release it. It's like the first time I went into a bar. Exactly.
Just continue going into a virus. Exactly right. Yep. It says it was later released back into the wild.
There you go. I'm dead wrong. I love it. I mean, generally in most countries, they won't release an animal.
Yeah, but this is especially in India where there have been numerous.
man-hunting leopards.
Yeah.
That have killed hundreds of people.
Literally all the most famous ones.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Well, there you go.
It was later released.
So I'm wrong.
That's a rough time.
Pretty hilarious, though.
Fucking crazy, dude.
Could you imagine?
Okay.
No.
I was like to put myself into the position of the human, like in this scenario.
You're just like, like you said, stocking shelves and you're turned around.
And all of a sudden, you like, something is on.
You feel as safe as humanly possible.
Right.
Right?
Because you're like, nothing could happen.
This is my routine.
I do this every single day.
Yeah.
I sit in this little store.
I'm putting my bottles on my shelf.
Like your guard is completely down.
Yeah.
And then just you get hopped on by a cat.
Like what is that?
Like a straight cat.
Oh shit.
It's a fucking leopard.
Holy shit.
Well, dude, there's nothing.
Like, even in my house, right?
I'm like, I'm safe inside my house.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Anything that wants to get in can just come in.
Yeah.
Like the bear smells my fucking dog's food.
easy it's really this little
fucking glass door
yeah it's like in the back
the bear could push it over in seconds
or like you'll hear like the
you know a huge group of coyotes
just behind the fence it's like
if they wanted to they could figure out a way to get it
oh dude we had a huge group of coyotes
outside of our fence
two nights ago it was actually
really sad because I heard the howling and the yipping
and I was like I'm going to go look and I could see
on the hill across from my house
there was two little things
in the bushes and I was like, whoa, are those foxes? Because they look so skinny and scrawny. So I grabbed
my binos out and I looked and it was two super mangy puppy coyotes. And their tails, they literally
look like those thylacine photos. You know, the videos. You see where they're covered in the
boxes are covered in mage. Their tails were like stick skinny and they were just riddled with
mange. And what was even sadder was I watched them for five minutes or so. And I saw one kind of
head up the hill and out of the bushes came like the mom.
And she was like half mangy and half furry.
So she had most of her fur, but then one leg was like fully, fully manged out.
Yeah.
So she had passed it on to the pups.
You know what I mean?
And then there was a second adult too, which might have been a second mom.
I couldn't tell.
And she looked fine.
But yeah, it was pretty sad because it was like this beautiful little family or should have been this beautiful little family.
And three of the dogs look like they should be put down.
It was kind of sad.
Yeah, same-sex couple too.
And what exactly is...
What are you going to do with that info?
You're going to flee that?
What are you going to do with that?
that. I believe it. What exactly is
Mange? It's a mite. It's a
mite in the skin. Oh, so it's an actual
living creature. Yeah, it's a mite in the
skin that irritates them so much that they basically
scratch and they get boils and things. It looked like that one.
See, that's what the animals look like.
It's like human scabies. It's just funny because like the whole
Chupacabra thing. That's it. That is what the
Chupacabra drawings look like. It's not even close. There's no
question. Well, so do they, and then
obviously they die?
They can eventually die.
It doesn't go.
It doesn't go away.
No, it has to be treated.
Speaking of, have you seen the absolute fucking hero
who runs around spraying wombats with a squirt gun to fight Mange?
No.
Oh, dude, this guy.
Sounds great.
If you're listening to this wombat squirt gun guy, let's see if we can find his name,
you were invited to live at my house.
Also come on the podcast, but nope, that's Andrew Eukles.
Sure is.
There's a guy.
See if you can find him, Kyle.
a wombat squirt gun mange
What is he spraying him with?
That's it, Toby.
It's that guy right here.
So he's found, so, okay, this is really interesting.
So pause it just for one second.
I'll give some context.
I'm probably going to get this wrong.
But my understanding is you're not allowed to catch and treat wild animals in Australia,
you know, for anything, basically.
So this guy figured out like a loophole where he got mange cure and wombats in Tasmania
aren't scared of anything.
They have no natural predators.
Yeah.
And so he just walks up to him with a super,
Soaker and puts this like anti-mite stuff in it.
And yeah, you'll see it here.
Kyle, give it a good.
Look at this.
Oh, well, this time he doesn't have a super soak.
He's just got a gallon.
But they're not scared of anything.
See how mangy that one is?
It's just starting.
So he just rolls up and just starts treating these wombats.
I love how it doesn't.
He's pouring liquid over its back and it doesn't even look up.
Nah, they don't care.
Doesn't even look.
But there's somewhere he's literally hunting him with squirt guns and just like
It sounds really fun.
It's great.
He's like super so.
Yeah, here we go.
Oh, I guess he can't catch him.
I don't know the full details.
but this guy, what's his name, Toby something, Kyle?
Toby the Womback guy.
You are very invited on this show, by the way.
We love you, Toby.
Yeah, we really do.
Also, great shorts.
Very short.
Yeah, bring your panties.
Yeah, nice panties.
Yeah, weren't you supposed to wear some short shorts today?
You was supposed to.
Tune into the boner if you want to see Pat's boner.
Dude, so I was just reading this book.
It's a children's book.
And it's got like a couple little factoids about different things from outer space.
Okay.
Out of space.
Each planet, yeah, out of space.
Classic.
Am I an idiot that I didn't know that there's a mountain on Mars that's the biggest
mountain in the solar system?
Yeah, I definitely knew that.
Dude, do a comparison of Everest versus the mountain, the tallest mountain,
Olympus Mons.
It's a dormant volcano.
Holy shit.
Look at that very first photo.
Look at Everest.
Go to the very first one.
That.
That's like when they show you the sun versus like a supernova.
Right.
Yeah.
That's crazy.
It's so much bigger than Mount Everest.
I think it's 75,000 feet tall.
Wow.
But it's also just way wider.
It's very gradually sloped.
Olympus Mons.
Yeah.
I think it's a volcanic dome.
It kind of makes sense given the scale of Mars to Earth, right?
So everything's bigger.
Am I wrong with that?
Do you know what I mean?
Like if the mountains are bigger on Earth,
if Mars is double the sides of Earth,
are the mountains double the side?
I don't know if Mars is double the size.
Mars is smaller or smaller.
No, it's not.
It's a little bit smaller.
It is not.
Look this up.
I'm fairly certain.
Mars is bigger than Earth.
Mars versus Earth size.
I think you're crazy, dude.
I'm pretty sure Mars is smaller.
Yep, it is.
Bro.
You've been wrong so many times.
I got nothing going on right now.
Supposedly, I was reading something.
It's the force of gravity is less on Mars.
And so it allows for,
I don't know,
mountain to be bigger
without crumbling.
It's very interesting.
But I mean,
it's like many
magnitudes bigger than Mount Everest.
Oh, it's way more than double.
It also looks very hickable.
It really does.
It's got a nice gentle slope to the top.
But dude,
think about like when you're in an airplane
cruising at cruising altitude
at 36,000 feet,
you're not even halfway up that mountain.
Right.
That's insane.
Yeah.
Yeah, dude.
I mean,
that's insane.
It's fucking crazy to think
that Mars was,
essentially an active planet like Earth, millions or billions of years ago? I don't know,
millions or billions of years ago. This guy did not climb the mountain on Mars. No, but he did just die.
Did you see this? No, Norma Perja? Is this the one? Yeah. He just died? Yeah, he's like one of the most
famous mountaineers in history. He did. There's a great, I watched his Netflix doc. It's called like
eight peaks or something like that. 14 peaks. 14 peaks where he climbs the 14 tallest
mountains and 14 days. That sounds like it would get really boring after number two. Well, but I mean,
Everest, they just run up it and back down and then go to a second one that day.
No way.
Yeah, I swear to God.
Everest is like a joke to them.
That's unreal.
Yeah.
There was an avalanche in Pakistan and he died.
That's sad.
Was he climbing the mountain?
Yes.
Him along with like 10 or 12 other people.
And they all died.
Everybody got caught in the avalanche.
Holy shit.
That's gnarly.
Mountain climbings.
It's these things like, I mean, I say this and I talk about myself doing this.
But, you know, you roll the dice enough, right?
Yep.
Like, this is what happens.
Well, yeah, you should be dead several times already.
Thank you.
That's mean.
It's unbelievable.
That's rude.
You literally just put yourself in a, in a, in a, in a rickety cage over a river with just thousands of crocodiles.
Yeah, that sucks.
Built by, out of like wood and banana leaves.
No, I was built by metal, but I did just find the guys to build it that morning.
Yeah.
I'm surprised you're alive is all I'm saying.
Thanks.
Going back to this really quick.
What's the.
deal with Manilaoa. Why is that seemingly higher than Everett? Where is that? Can you?
Hawaii, I think. No, that can't be correct. I think because most of it's, I think, because most of it's
underwater. But look it up because, yeah, Mount Aloha is technically considered bigger than Everest, I believe.
What? Mount Everest is the highest mountain above sea level, while Mount Aloha is the tallest when measured
from its absolute base on the ocean floor. On the ocean floor. Interesting. So yeah, it doesn't,
how much does it actually stick up above sea level? So it, okay, so Mount of Lua goes 33,000
feet but not from sea level or that from yeah right it says here it only sticks up 14,000 feet and
that's like that's like fucking lasin pass in california so this is a dumb diagram but every single one
references it because it is technically the tallest mountain on earth right that's annoying
it really does bother me don't do that it's annoying just just shut up i'm guessing this is seven
people in hawaii who are like we have the biggest mountain let's make noise about it's like shut up no you
Don't.
Dude.
Have you been up there?
It's pretty cool.
Have you?
Yeah, yeah.
It's like a really good spot for looking at stars.
They have a big observatory up there.
And also you can get up above the volcano and look down and see all the lava like splashing.
Really?
It's really cool.
Yeah.
So it's an active volcano?
It sounds like a nice place to smooch your girlfriend.
Yeah, dude.
Kyle, did you do that?
No, I was with my dad.
Did you smooch in?
Ah, no.
Did you hug?
No.
Did you shake him?
Did you hug?
A butt pack?
Did you high five
Honestly
That'll count
That'd be a good pick
Yeah
That's the same as smooching
Yeah
I got
I got a little something
I want to talk about here
I got a question for you guys
So if you guys were
If you spent your time
Hand raising Asian swallow tail butterflies
I wouldn't
I mean you
You are very into watching birds
That's true
You never know what could happen
That's your good bird stuff going on
Okay
Yes
mouse you always look at?
Yeah.
Black Phoebe.
Black Phoebe.
Okay.
What would you think if you noticed that the butterflies that you've been hand raising would fly eight feet from you and then just go there and then come back to you?
What would you think is going on?
I would.
I probably, I'd think that they liked me.
Yeah.
That's the logical answer.
But it's an insect.
Right.
I got you.
I understand what you're asking, Peter.
I agree that first thing I would think is, oh, they like me.
But I think the answer is the thought that the butterflies you hand raised associate you as the branch they were born on and they're going to come back and pupate on you.
Interesting.
Okay.
So there's a, I think he was 10-year-old kid in Japan who did this.
and when he noticed that this was going on,
he then went on to spend a bunch of time
and collaborating with actual grown-up scientists
to prove that butterflies can remember things
from when they were caterpillars.
Okay.
And proven?
And it's proven scientifically.
And the experiment was that they,
he basically trained them to vibrate
when they were caterpillars to this certain scent.
And then he was able to get them to repeat that behavior when they were butterflies.
That's very cool.
And how good for him for doing that.
But dude, I'm sure there's a lot more to it.
You should look into the story.
Like he wrote a cold, this 10 year old wrote an email to scientists and was like, hey, I noticed this.
Like, yeah, yeah.
It's a very cool story.
But like a fucking caterpillar that goes into a cocoon and its whole body gets liquefied
and turns into basically a whole different creature.
Yeah.
But he can fucking remember.
Doesn't its brain get liquefied?
Apparently not.
That's insane to me.
I mean, they don't even technically have brains, which is crazy.
I'm just like, you know, consciousness is real.
They have a version of a brain.
It's called Fused Ganglion.
Oh, okay.
I learned that in Bio 101, right?
I don't remember Bio 101.
That's very cool, Peter.
I did not know that.
That's really interesting.
And this is a Japanese kid, and now it's a published study.
Yeah.
Has he gone through this whole thing?
did the experiments, but dude, like, I'm just like, how the fuck can that happen?
Like, I can't remember anything from last night after I take my morning shit.
Okay.
As cool as that, as you want to see the flip side of that?
Sure.
Kyle, pull up the bird song, kid.
Have you seen this guy?
Oh, yeah, dude.
He's everywhere.
He's the best.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, dude.
I can tell if he's insanely popular or hated by all of his colleagues.
He's autistic.
Oh, I didn't know that.
But that adds up, actually.
Word of a Quest Part 2.
Look at this.
This is real.
Yeah, it's crazy.
Oh, you've seen it too?
One of his videos, but he's made several.
He's so good.
Yeah, this is a kid making these noises for everybody listening.
He doesn't have birds on his arms.
I mean, his vocal cords work different.
I have to.
That one's a hell of any of us.
That's just saying the word me.
He's deaf using a sing ring.
The fish crow and the American crew.
The fish grows.
do first. Let's see.
That's good. That's pretty good. I think that's a crow if I was walking around.
Oh, it's incredible. It's really impressive. Okay, that's enough.
Give it a pause. This kid's awesome. Yeah, he's great. I want to let's let's let's,
let's do a little, little experiment here. Let's each do our best crow impression.
That sucks. Okay. Can I hear it again? Yeah. Let me hear the first crow. No, no, you got to do
the ca, ca, ca, call one. Then the American crow. There, there you go.
I'll go.
Is that bad?
No, it was okay.
It was the second part.
Cuck, cock, cock.
That's just you saying the word cock repeatedly.
That's really good.
That's really good.
Thank you.
They don't actually say English words.
I'm saying,
you are saying the word caw.
Cuck, cock.
Cuck.
Cuck.
I'd love to have this guy on the pod and teach us a couple.
Oh, that would be amazing.
A couple hollers.
I mean, that first one is like insane that he does.
There's a few of them that are unreal.
He's got perfect bitch.
What's his name?
I had a great bird moment yesterday, actually.
You were always having a bird moment.
But you would never hand-raised butterflies, you say?
Samuel Henderson.
I sent Kyle the video.
No.
Only Kyle?
Sam Henderson, you are welcome on the show.
So before you pull it up, Kyle, I texted it to you.
Well, he's pulled it up.
Anyway, it's always nice to see young kids involved in these types of animal things.
Let's hear about
So yesterday, I'm driving up my street
And I'm like, dad, that is a fucking huge crow.
Yeah.
He's eating something in the middle of the road.
And then I pulled up on it.
Check this out.
This is pretty cool.
You don't see this every day.
Turkey vulture.
Just landed in the middle of the road.
Just eating a squirrel, dude.
I don't think I've ever seen that in a residential area.
No, me neither.
I mean, it was fucking, it's massive.
I was like, is that a condor?
Oh, yeah.
They're big.
Dude, I shit you not.
The exact same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago when I was going
hiking. It wasn't as residential as this, but I was like, look at those fucking crows.
I was like, I didn't know they were like scavengers like that. And then I got closer and there
was like three, they must have been turkey, or some kind of vulture. I don't know if they were,
are there other ones that are around here? No. No, just those ones. Yeah. I mean, do you see
these things flying around out here? No. Oh, yeah. You don't really. I see a lot of hawks,
but I don't see the, I don't see the, I don't see Turkey vulture. I see these guys over my house every
day. But I don't live in a residential area. Right. Yeah. And that's, that's the difference.
just a lot of wild space by me.
Dude, I remember there's a bunch of turkey vultures circling in Louisiana,
and Mitch sent the drone up to chase him around,
and they did not like the drone.
No, they took off.
No, they were fucking trying to attack.
Oh, were they? I don't remember.
Mitch is like furiously trying to fucking navigate.
We've lost legit, probably eight drones to birds now.
Really?
Yeah, I've lost so many.
Because we see these beautiful, like, scenes of birds flying or whatever,
and I'm like, go get a shot, go fly with it.
And then somebody gets upset and goes,
a wham. We've lost so many drones now.
They just like run into it.
Yeah. I mean, Tommy's the
Tommy who's helped on the pod before.
He's the last one. We were in Africa
filming some white back vultures flying
and one just came in and nailed it.
This was like three weeks ago. No, like six weeks ago.
Yeah. Yeah. Dude, they're fucking
scary looking birds, man. Oh, yeah.
I mean, they're heinous, ugly.
Vultures? Yeah, they look like a testicle. I mean, they're beautiful
in the natural sense, but if you compare
them to a human face, they're really ugly.
King vulture, dude. King vulture is amazing.
Look at this thing. Let's take a look.
That's a cool bird.
It's like a fucking toucan and a vulture mixed.
Yeah, I mean, that's amazing.
That is insane.
Isn't that crazy?
That is evolved one step from a dinosaur.
What is the little brain on its snout?
It's wattle.
What is that?
It's like the turkey has.
Yeah, the thing the turkey has.
Exactly.
Like the waddle.
It uses it for sexual selection.
Like, hey, check out the size of my waddle.
Give me a little love, you know?
Oh, man.
I'm not sure about it.
You got a tiny waddle.
Yeah.
I just feel like I would see the waddle and be like, no thanks.
Yeah, but you're not a female vulture.
True.
If you were a chick vulture, you'd be like, dude, that's a nice waddle.
There's nothing I can do about that.
Yeah.
I really, now I want to see your bit about birds that you did at the improv, trying to date each other.
Oh, yeah.
I mean, I think you'd really be into a waddle.
Probably.
I feel like there's a good three minutes of content you can do on a waddle.
For sure.
You could do a lot of.
Just the word waddle will do it for.
I had an idea for a video, but then I was like, this is going to take too much effort.
Okay.
But you know how people do, like, real or AI?
Yeah.
For, like, Chris Gillette does the animal ones.
Oh, yeah.
So I was going to do them the reverse.
AI are making it funny?
Well, I was like, oh, I could just find a video of, like, someone petting their cat and just be like, is this real or AI?
And then, like, incredibly generic stuff.
Yeah.
It's just like, the cat didn't bite them fast enough so you know it's fake.
Let's play a game come.
Oh, that's a nice jangle.
I like this game.
I like learning.
Even though we've never retained a single piece of this information.
But our audience does.
We've gotten tens of listeners.
First word is wattle.
That said they like this.
So this is guess the animal based on their native name.
So the way it works is Kyle mispronounces a foreign word.
Yeah.
That is how it works.
That's the end of the game.
It usually involves oomots.
Yeah.
And we try to guess what?
what language it is and what the animal is based on just, you know, just clues that may be inside the word.
All right, Kyle's, yes.
Mispronounce our first word, please.
The first word I will try to pronounce is schooled, school pa, school pada, school pada.
The best part of this game is listening to Kyle Tragor really is.
Do you know that the two dots over the O make it a U?
No.
Okay.
He's just guessing.
Yeah, I'm guessing.
Skoldpada.
If it was an O, there would be no dots.
Right.
That's what I'm thinking.
Okay.
So it must be a different...
You're right about that.
That's for sure.
Schooled potter.
Schooled potter.
Peter, you're going to start on this one?
Sure. I'll start on this one.
Yeah.
This is certainly from a Nordic country.
This is from like, I'll just say Norway.
That's the only Nordic country.
No, I know Sweden and Norway.
So Skulpada, this is...
This is definitely a gross fish that they eat that I've never heard.
That's a great call.
That's fair.
It's a, I'll just say it's an amazing call.
If it's any bad looking fish, you get the point.
Okay, yeah, we'll go with like a Norwegian trout.
I just said you get it for fish.
You don't have to zero in.
Well, can I also do a fish or not?
Well, okay, now you have to.
You don't own me.
That's true. I don't.
All right.
Unfortunately.
You know, not yet.
Minnesota has a lot of Norwegians.
Yep.
They say skull, Viking, skull for their football team.
So this has skull in it.
Yep.
Skold potta.
So it's absolutely Norwegian.
And I think it goes back to Viking times where they were seafaring.
And they would find schools of cod.
Okay.
Interesting.
So we've got trout and cod.
But if it is a fish, I get the point.
It doesn't matter if it's cod.
I think that's fair.
Fair.
Okay.
Just to be different, I'm going to say it is Swedish for house cat.
Swedish fish.
I knew you were going right to Swedish fish.
I'm going to give a half point it for us.
It is Swedish for turtle.
Of course.
Super annoying.
Yeah.
After getting all that hype.
I was hoping it was a word fish.
If he said anything other than another Nordic country, I would have given a half point to you guys just for being so close.
Sure.
Fair.
But you didn't?
And I want to punch you.
So irrelevant.
Moving on.
Gotta have.
Well, I also just like how Peter was like, it's one of those gross fish that they eat over there.
Well, I'm actually thinking because they have like a monk fish.
Oh, I'm thinking of Greenland because there's gross fish that you make done.
I guarantee you, Kyle, pull up a new tab and quickly pull up a picture of a monk fish.
This is one of the most common fish that they eat and look at it.
Oh, man.
Wait, I have a new spirit animal.
Look at this thing.
This is very blobfish-ass.
That's a real animal.
And that one does not change as they come up from the depth.
That is what it looks like.
Have you eaten monkfish?
Oh, yeah.
You have too.
It's delicious.
Yeah.
Wow.
Wait,
where have I eaten monk fish?
All of you have.
Monk fish is the most common fish and you know those fake crab sticks?
Oh, dude, I was just.
Oh, yeah.
Just talking about what fish is this fucking made the other day.
Anyways, nobody cares about that.
Wait, so it's the fake crab meat, but it's also like, isn't it used in like fine dining as well, too?
All kinds of things.
It's a common fish.
It's there's super readily available, harvested a lot.
It's making me very hungry.
It looks very appetizing.
Yes, it looks very appetizing with its teeth.
Definitely not skipping lunch today.
All right, what's next?
Next is Lobo.
Lobo.
Los Lobos.
Yep.
This is Spanish.
Yeah.
Go ahead.
Wolf.
Okay.
It's Wolf.
It's Wolf.
But I'm going to say it's Italian for Wolf.
Ooh.
I'm going to say it's going to piss me off.
Mexican for Wolf.
Oh, my God.
That might be racist.
I'm not even sure.
I'm just trying to say it is, it is a wolf in Mexico, and they call it Lobo.
Fair enough.
What do they call it?
Lobo.
You said Lobo.
Lobo.
Tomato tomato.
There's no oomel out over that.
It's like when you said asbestos.
All right.
Throw some points out there, Kyle.
Correct points, Patrick, Forrest.
Peter, what did you say?
He said Mexican for wolf.
Okay.
I'll give you half points.
I don't want your fucking half point.
I just want to point it out on here that
Edwin put that this means crocodile in Spanish
so I'm just going to throw that out there.
Lobo? That's what you put.
I mean, definitely double check it.
No, no, no, I just did. Yeah. It's Wolf, right? Of course.
Okay. Is he trying to get fired?
Yeah.
Jesus. We're going to replace him with Jet.
I had to double check myself. So, yeah,
next is Medved.
Yeah.
It's boring. I already don't.
like it, whatever it is. It's, uh, it's Russian.
Mm-hmm. Medved. Medved. It's definitely Russian for bad.
Definitely.
Gotta be. Just, just give them the point. Let's move on. No, no. Keep going. Take a guess.
Okay. I like the next one a lot, though. So let's get through this one.
Uh, okay. Medved. Medved is, uh, what, it's just, it's just, it's just a bad word.
Um, Medved. It is, uh, I got nothing. Go ahead, Peter. I got to think about it. I've got
no origin from anything in that.
This is actually a brand out of Phoenix that delivers meds to your bed.
Medved.
It's Russian, though.
I think it's, the only reason I think it's Russian is because there is a hockey player
named Medvedev.
Oh, interesting.
Okay.
I mean, I will say that this is Ukrainian.
God damn it, that was the other word.
I was going to, okay, go ahead.
This is Ukrainian for eggplant.
Why would it be an egg?
Because he likes to fuck.
with us. Okay. I'm going to say it is
goat in Slovakia.
I like that. That's a good guess.
Half point to Patrick. It is Russian.
There we go. Nice. For bear.
Medved.
Of course it was bear. I should have
just said, I mean, that's the only animal they have in Russia.
You know how like if there's like a great movie
and someone's never seen it and they get to see it for the first time
and you're like a little jealous? Like, I wish I could go back and see that for the first time.
Not only do I know that, but I saw it on your face when you
had told me to watch
Sicario six times and then I watched it for the first
time with you and I watched you watching me
instead of watching the movie. Yeah, yeah.
But right now is that moment for you.
Okay. And for all of us because we've never
gotten to hear Kyle pronounce
this word for the first time. Yeah, this is going to be big.
So enjoy this moment. Live in the now.
This word is
a cornchin.
I cornchin. Is that an RN or an
M in the middle?
Aikornchen.
Aichornchen.
Kyle, do you put the spelling of the words on the screen in the edit?
Oh, that's so smart.
I wish I thought of it.
This is clearly German.
Acorn chin?
For acorn?
No, cornucopia.
So it's a horned animal.
So this is German for goat.
They have horns, right?
They sure do.
I do.
It's a fainting goat.
So it's obviously German.
Eichhornchen.
It sounds like a one-up, Kyle.
Several words.
Rinosaurus.
It's clearly Dutch for...
It better not be Dutch.
For a gross-looking fish.
Hold on.
Don't tell us yet.
It makes me angry.
This game.
Why are you...
Pat, you were so disappointed.
with your selection of what rhino was it yeah why he gave up he said he said it with defeat
yeah all right all right uh half points for peter and patrick it is rush excuse me it is german
you guys were on to something with the acorn it's squirrel for germ in german wow i corn chen so
it's like an acorn eater yeah is that what it means acorn eater i bet it does yeah you got a real
a real vibe from that word.
A corn chun? It did osmosis.
Have you ever seen real quick how they pronounce how
Okay, let's let's take a dog leg from this
real quick. Can we do that? Is this the hippo thing? Yeah.
Yeah. Do Kyle, do you know what I'm talking about? We've talked about it at least six times. The hippopotamus in different languages. Can we do it anyway? I don't care if we've done six times. Can we do it anyway, please?
It's like a once every ten pods thing. I'm okay with it. No, but you got to get the video where the guy does all the different
Yeah. It's like
ipatomo. Yeah. Yeah, this is
Oh no, that's not it. She stole
his idea. She did. This is the guy.
So this is a guy learning how to say hippopotamus in various languages.
Different languages.
Play it with sound, Kyle.
Hipparmy. Hippopotam.
Ipuputam.
Hipopotamos.
Hipopotamos. Hippopotamu.
Ipotam.
The overdubbing the voice is great.
It never gets old.
It screams it.
I don't care if it's once every 10 pods.
It makes no sense.
We hang out with this other couple of the guy's German.
And I just constantly am screaming Nelpert at him.
Are you?
That's great.
I'm glad you do that.
What's next?
He probably goes home and goes, man, that guy really thinks I'm fat.
He hates me.
It's bad.
All right.
Next.
So the score is Patrick with two.
Peter with one, forest, one and a half.
I don't like that.
Okay.
Moving on.
That is the score.
I'm crushing.
Didn't we all get Wolf full point?
Yeah, we did.
Yeah.
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Well, it's because I said Mexican for Wolf that I only got half a point.
That's a half point.
Pusa.
I just wanted to say the word.
I mean, I don't think you can miss.
Can you go ahead?
The next word is Pusa.
You sure it's not Pusa?
I'm going to go with Pusa.
I think it's Pusa.
I'm going.
Is it like a Fupa?
I mean, I've thought.
Pusa.
Like, I've thought so many different things.
things. I'm like, this has got to be an easy animal and an easy, like a well-known language.
So I'm going to go, well, maybe not well-known, but I'll go Portuguese for a pig. This is
Afrikaans for run in the mill cat. It's a pretty good guess. Portuguese, Afrikaans.
Oh, man, pusa, pusa. I'm going to go Swahili for leopard.
It's none of these.
Half point for Patrick.
It is cat.
Yes.
Wow.
The language is Tagalog.
Tagalog.
Pusa.
Filipino word.
Somebody just took pussy cat and was like, okay.
Here we go.
Pusa.
You're a pusa.
Yeah.
All right.
Next is Shoo Ian.
Is it?
Shohian.
Shoyon.
Shoyon.
Shoyon.
Shoyon.
Shoyon.
Shoyon.
Clearly Japanese.
This is a Japanese
Shoyom
Mountain goat
Okay
That's a third goat pick
In six hours
One of them's gonna land
This is Mongolian
For Falcon
Chinese for some kind of
Fluffy dog
Mandarin meaning
Mandarin for a kind of
Oh
Mexican Chinese
The language is Mandarin
That's fair
That's fair
That's fair
But I corrected myself
So what's your answer
Mandarin for dog
Like a fluffy dog of some kind
Half point for forest
It is Mandarin
See what happens when I give you shit
Sloth? It's good luck for you
For sloth
Why would they even have a word for sloth?
Is that an eye or an owl?
There's no sloth there
I know everybody has words for everything
But there's no hippopotamus here
Yeah that's true
It's so fucking funny
There's no hippopotamus here yet
All right, the last one worth six whole points.
Inguina.
Inguina.
Inguina.
Inguyen.
Inguyen.
Inguyen.
Peter, go first.
No, I keep going first.
I want some ideas this time.
Patrick, go first.
I don't want to be boring.
I want to guess a different language, but what's a big language in Africa?
A big language?
What's commonly spoken?
Congolese.
Congolese
For
Is that a big language?
No
Crocadale
The first thing
It came to my own
Croc
I know
I'm gonna go
Tribe of Papua New Guinea
Undiscovered
Never heard their language
Before
For panda bear
Because they know
What a panda bear
Is also
Do you want to give him
The half point
Right now
It's pretty good
I'll give me half point
Because I know what it is
Oh really
That was not it
Sorry
It's Shawna for crocodile
But
That is correct
Yeah
Is it a point?
Wow, that's correct.
I think that's like three quarters of a point because he got
And it's three quarters of six points.
The nation as well.
But does Forrest get the full six?
He does.
Oh, was that worth six points?
It was worth six points.
Oh, then Edwin shouldn't make the Shawna won the last one
because I'm like a 30% of those.
Wait, is Shauna spoken in Zimbabwe?
Yeah.
I mean, Edwin does that a lot.
Yeah, he's trying to make me win.
And he takes the extra 10 bucks.
I slide him every week.
Here's what happened.
Forrest has complained several.
several times that Edwin is trying to mess with him.
And Edwin doesn't want to mess up his somewhat...
High-paying contract that he has with us.
He has high-paying contract with the forest.
Poor Edwin.
All right.
So that's it.
All right.
Very good.
Edwin discovered...
He sent a text message to the group that he discovered the Dr. Brown's canned coffee.
Oh, I saw that.
That's hilarious.
Or Mr. Brown.
Mr. Brown.
Yeah.
I don't know.
Tell us about it.
I thought it was only in Vietnam.
I saw it at the store actually as well.
In the U.S.?
In the U.S.
It was at Hmart.
That's right.
Do you know the story behind us?
I was wondering what this is.
No.
Not a sponsor.
Definitely not.
I wish they were.
Yeah.
So these canned coffees,
Peter, about this big.
They're tiny.
They're like,
they're literally like this big.
Why did he take such a forced perspective shot?
I thought that was like a 16-ounce can.
It does look that way.
It's a tiny little coffee shot.
I think they're eight ounces probably.
I don't know.
I remember it being tiny.
And when we're in Vietnam, it's a chode.
Yeah.
When we're in Vietnam, we would each drink 12 to 15 of this a day.
And you'd be just like fucking buzzed up.
And it's like full of sugar too.
So it's like high caffeine.
It's like high caffeine, high sugar.
Yeah.
But we were just slugging them left and right.
Of course.
Like awful amounts of them.
Dude, there's, I have to think there's a tremendous amount of sugar.
Oh, yeah.
They're very sweet.
And I distinctly remember having like crashes from.
drinking. Yeah, that's the can right there. Yeah. They don't put the nutritional information.
No, and they definitely make you Mr. Brown, too. Like, if you drink three of them, you're like, I need to find a delightful Vietnamese restroom immediately. There's an Hmart near you. There you go. What's Mr. Brown holding in his left hand? Is that a spoon? Well, it's a cup of coffee. No, no, in his other hand.
Oh, that's his ear. He's holding his jacket. Oh, he's right. Cal's right. He's holding the lapel of his jacket. Can you zoom in really far on his face? Look at the look at the look on
this guy. So you turn into this is what you're saying.
Essentially. I mean, it already looks a bit like me,
to be honest. I mean, if you're only listening to this podcast,
come just for this. I mean,
I just, that's all I'll say.
Yeah, fair. Yeah, but they are
delicious. They're really good. If you're going to try Mr. Brown,
have four of them. Send yourself to the restroom in an emergency
scenario. Yeah. Yeah. And not because of lettuce.
Yeah. Because of this coffee.
Peter, do the thing. Let's go.
Well, good night, everybody. I hope that you enjoyed the show.
and you will go to wild times.combs.club slash info
