Starting point is 00:00:00 One, do we have to sail through rough waters to get to the open horizon of the American dream? What will we hear in a joint session of Congress from President Donald Trump? Two, the host of a brand new show on Fox, my view with Laura Trump. Laura Trump here today on the Will Cain show. Three, it only took a little over 30 days for one of my favorite sports teams to be turned from an NBA finals contender with one of the best players in NBA into total destruction. It just took about 35, 40 days to destroy the Dallas Mavericks. It is the Will Kane Show streaming live at Fox News.com, the Fox News YouTube channel and the Fox News Facebook page every Monday through Thursday at 12 o'clock Eastern time. Terrestrial radio, three dozen stations across this great United States of America, but always available by subscribing at Apple or on Spotify.
Starting point is 00:01:19 We've got a big show for you today, including Laura Trump, who's going to be joining us here in just a few moments. In New York, I have a question for you. You know the name of our guest today. You're familiar with our guests today. You're familiar with her family. You're familiar with who she's married to, and you're familiar with her show. With all of that runway laid, let's take the plane to flight. As I ask, one at a time, quickly, and without contemplation, I want you each to pronounce my next guest's name.
Starting point is 00:01:55 Tenfoil Pat, what is her name? Laura. Dan. Laura Trump. James. Laura Trump. You guys were all the same. Now, it's easy for man two and three to copy man one and all go down the same path.
Starting point is 00:02:15 This is difficult for me. I don't know why. I don't know why there are some words, some languages, and some names that are really hard. but the laura laura laura name is very difficult for me i am inconsistent i don't know which one to go with and it's a little bit like going to the craps table in vegas i just throw the dice out there whatever it comes up it comes up each and every time okay i think at times i've said lara lately i've gone with Laura. I know it's not Laura. Yes. Now, it is spelled L-A-R-A. There is no U. Now, the U would make it
Starting point is 00:03:03 Laura, correct? Do I have that right? It would be Laura with a hard O sound with a U. Correct. Laura. Drop the U, and now where am I? I'm on a 50-50 shot between Lera and Laura? Both spelled the same way? L-A-R-A? You got the Texas accent, too. James did say L-A-R-A-R-A-R-R-A-R-R-A-R-Jame said Lara Trump in the meeting earlier.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Did I? Fake news. Just pointing that out there. You could go with Mrs. Trump. Okay. But it's not Lara. I know that in my head. It's not.
Starting point is 00:03:40 That's Lara Logan. Yeah. Right. She spelled the same way. It goes with Lara. But Lara, soft-o, not the hard-o, right, that you would get, if you get the you in there, Laura, you, and this is difficult because she's in the middle ground. Lara is how you say it. Do I, am I saying it the right way?
Starting point is 00:04:00 Laura? Yes, and I know this to be the case, because I literally had the same problem like two months ago. I was like, how do you pronounce? And like, I heard people pronouncing in a certain way, I'm like, is that right? And so I went down this whole rabbit hole with her name in particular. So, yeah, I think it's right. And that's the thing. I don't think I'm, I might be in the minority, but I'm not alone in my difficulty in
Starting point is 00:04:26 knowing which pronunciation we're going with. So what happens is if I hear her introduced on television, I end up hearing different versions of it, which just further adds to my confusion. And I don't know what to go with. So today, we're going to go with Laura. And then we're going to ask her, are we getting? getting it right, okay? That's the first question we're going to go with in just a few moments here with Laura Trump. Let's get to this, though, story number one. Donald Trump, President
Starting point is 00:04:57 Donald Trump addresses the nation in a joint session of Congress tonight. He's expected to address the American dream, how we can look forward to a better tomorrow and fulfill the promise of America. It does come on a day when tariffs have been imposed officially on Mexico, Canada, and China, 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada accepting energy imports and exports. 10% tariffs on China as of midday stock market trading down 2%. There has been upfront honesty from many within the Trump administration about this period of adjustment that it's going to take. Sometimes, there will be troubled waters and it strikes me that in order to get to that open horizon of the american dream you probably inevitably have to sail your ship through some troubled waters
Starting point is 00:05:52 why is that because we are in a moment of creative destruction the destruction is inbalanced trade relationships tariffs that are not reciprocal and how they're treated between nations across this world with a bloated government that is far beyond efficiency and a waste of taxpayer dollars it's going to require some destruction did you guys see this story out of texas it's a local news report that i'm going to be focusing on throughout the day it's absolutely fascinating a business in san antonio texas entitled endeavor set up facilities throughout the state not just in San Antonio, Pacas, multiple locations across the state of Texas, to house quote-unquote migrant children, illegal immigrants coming across the border. Endeavor is receiving $18 million a month.
Starting point is 00:06:53 So $250 million a year to manage these facilities. These facilities are empty, all of them. They are empty. They're receiving $18 million a month. to manage empty facilities across the state of texas this was according to a local san antonio nbc news report first flagged by doge this company endeavor suggested we have to be prepared to scale up when the crisis hits that's our charge from the previous administration and it could at any moment receive something like three thousand illegal immigrant children now i would have some questions about whether it all it received any children or it received max capacity illegal immigrants but we do know that it is empty and they've been receiving $18 million a month since
Starting point is 00:07:48 2021 now to add one more detail to this story endeavor received the contract from the federal government after a former Biden official went to work for the company endeavor that's according to the local NBC news report that is absolutely scandalous and the question is how typical is it of other government contracts throughout the federal government now being exposed by doge this has to be destroyed and in this moment of destruction it will create turbulent waters i think that's what we have to do to get to you know a promise of a brighter tomorrow fulfilling the american dream i think the response to that has to be, if you are in disagreement, more than sloganeering and the appearance of being
Starting point is 00:08:44 a non-playable character in the debate over America. In other words, you have to be more than the Democratic senators who cut videos today about Donald Trump. I want you to watch this video, singular, cut separately from Elizabeth Warren, Corey Booker, Mark Kelly, Chuck Schumer, and more. To Americans, sensitive days, social security, tax rates, health care, inspires thousands of essential workers,
Starting point is 00:09:20 people who help our veterans get their benefits, people fighting Ebola in Africa so it doesn't come here. He's frozen federal funding. Hard to hear them all, talking at the same time. But they're all saying the exact same thing. They're reading from the exact same script. With the exact same graphics and captions overlaid, the exact same video. It is reminiscent of that famous montage of newscasters across the country all imploring us
Starting point is 00:09:57 to be in this together when it came to COVID. I think it was, if I remember correctly, all suggesting together in unison and on script that the vaccine was safe and effective. We keep hearing this kind of sloganeering an NPC mindset, no matter what the topic, including possibly the most important topic of our time, war and the potentiality of World War III.
Starting point is 00:10:23 Yesterday on the Fox News Channel, I hosted a debate of various players, a varying disagreement over Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the history of Ukraine and Russia. That conversation was received, I would suggest, with nothing short of sloganeering. Two days, let's walk through some of the comments that came up, but some of the first were explaining that I was repeating Russian talking points and was nothing more than a shill from moscow this is random twitter personas um so not someone that you need to give extra weight to but enough that it's caught my attention it seems like says cable news watcher will cane is
Starting point is 00:11:09 taking his orders from moscow what a sellout he should be fired next we have other comments like someone named rinsher anguyn on x will cane's putt and trump defense is a disgrace interrupting a Russian journalist exposing their failures while Trump cozies up to Putin and dismisses Ukraine fight. Pathetic. America deserves leaders who stand for freedom, not dictators. Let's do one more. Will, I love this is on Facebook. Will, I love your presence on Fox, but not the 4 p.m. Eastern Time. I'd much rather hear about news like Martha reports, which is more like news.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Your program is enlightening, but too slow, nothing personal. Okay, that one was less substantive and more just critiqued at the show. I can't see which one. is witch so sorry the orders out of whack that's okay I sent that to you yeah I had one person to tell me yesterday
Starting point is 00:11:59 that it was the most boring show in 25 years of Fox factually incorrect factually incorrect I don't know I mean that's his opinion he's been watching 25 years worth of Fox your opinion man
Starting point is 00:12:14 nice quote but what I care about is this idea that you have made a substantive rebuttal in fact it gets me pretty freaking pissed and it gives me pretty animated that somehow you think it's a rebuttal to call someone a shill from Moscow or a Putin puppet.
Starting point is 00:12:30 Like, let's just set aside, I'm not personally offended. That's not what this is about. It's about your brain that honestly, I'm offended by your brain. I'm offended by your brain. Your brain, it's not that you're dumb. I think that you've given in. I think that you may have never been in the game. I think that you're an NPC.
Starting point is 00:12:50 I'm not trying to personally offend you, but I truly think you're nothing more than a chat bot. You don't have a coherent argument. And I don't care if you have a scholarship or a fellowship to the Hudson Institute. If your argument is you are a Putin-Shill, you don't matter. Your brain does not work. You're not here. You know, to me, I have things to fight and further to go in the video game.
Starting point is 00:13:13 You're twitching and glitching over here to the side. You're not a thing. You don't exist. you have no brain and we have a society full of this and I am more tough about it because dear God man like if you wake up today
Starting point is 00:13:31 if you wake up today and you think something that should come out of your mouth is Putin apologist Putin's chill Moscow like where in your brain did it get disconnected from your mouth like you're a puppet
Starting point is 00:13:46 you're a puppet you're I'm not a puppet you're a puppet You're a puppet, man. Not a puppet. No, puppet. You're a puppet. No, but for real. Like, there's a hand up your rear end operating your mouth.
Starting point is 00:14:01 And the question is, whose hand is up there intimating you into sloganeering things? You are pandemic of the unvaccinated. You are Save Our Democracy. You are Putin apologists. I have no problem with you making an argument. And by the way, all I did yesterday on the Foxx Day, I did two things. So let's be real. Like I think 80% about what I did was just explore the history, which we did here as well, right, on this, on this show. Explore the history of the growth of NATO East and how it could have been seen as a threat to Putin.
Starting point is 00:14:32 And, okay, time out. This is getting everywhere, but I don't care. I do not think me trying to understand Vladimir Putin and going, okay, he thinks this certain way. He grew up this certain way. and if NATO behaves this other way, he could see it as a threat, is an endorsement of Putin. I'm analyzing. You get it? Like, I'm trying to analyze Putin in the way he might see the world. And your response is, he's a dictator.
Starting point is 00:15:04 For real? That's what we're doing here? You know, NATO grew east, you know, over a 30-year period, like, I don't know, hundreds of miles and basically invited in former Soviet republics. and now has shares a border along Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, maybe Ukraine. I wonder if not just Vladimir Putin, but any Russian leader might consider that a threat to their national security. Just not forget, he's the bad guy. Like, that's what we're doing.
Starting point is 00:15:31 Like, your argument to me is he's the bad guy. Okay? Yeah, right. I know. I know that's what we're doing. And you may be right. But does that matter? Like, really?
Starting point is 00:15:42 Does that matter? We're trying to understand why we might be on the verge of World War III. And your response is, he's the bad guy? Your response is, like, are we in the comics? What are we doing? Did you just live on a diet of X-Men and World War II movies, and that informs your entire worldview? I saw saving Private Ryan, and I definitely saw Batman.
Starting point is 00:16:09 And now you know the world because Vladimir Putin's the bad. guy like and i'm talking about supposedly smart people forget the x comments for a minute i'm talking about people with fellowships i'm talking about like serious supposed thinkers this is the reductionist of it follow the science what's the difference follow the science vladmur putin's a dictator oh okay guess i'm supposed to be done thinking now next topic border numbers down to a record level like what do what are we doing here you know like i want to critically think through this i happen to think it's important when we're when we're talking about world war three and i get throw up another one throw another one two days what you got you got what do you have you got keep overman this is back
Starting point is 00:17:00 to facebook comments this is good this is michael vizzi thank you for advocating for critical thinking in place of blind party line issue support we must learn to individually process unbiased news and come to our own defendable position on issues. Thank you, Michael. I agree. I agree. Michael Kennedy. Will, I learned more about Russia, Ukraine in five minutes with you today than in 20 years. I love that. Thank you, Michael. You know, thank you. Oh, now we get to the media. Here's the media. Who's this guy? Fox News host, this is Mediite, says he must push back after guest rips Putin. We're well past the moral high ground. We are past the, they're quoting me. We are past. We are the moral high ground like if the depth of your thought is but he's the bad guy and he invaded ukraine
Starting point is 00:17:47 okay okay we've got the characters now now the question is i any of these deep thinkers i really want to know do you are you willing to go to world war three like do you in to get the bad guy are you willing to launch the nukes? I'm just curious. Don't simplify it, Will. I thought I'm simplifying it. I thought you, dictator, bad guy, debate over. Okay, so you don't want to launch the nukes. What do you want to do? You want to drag Ukraine out over a 50-year war, 30-year war, 20-year war, bleed Russia out, feed Ukrainian bodies into the meat grinder. What about American troops? I just don't hear any, I don't hear substance, I don't hear critical thinking, I don't mind you disagreeing with me. I do hear sloganeering.
Starting point is 00:18:34 And for how long have we been taken over by sloganeering? Honestly, you could argue in foreign policy for a long time. And the right as guilty as the left, right? And by the way, I don't think this is all the left saying this to me. This is the right, too. But for at least five, six years, we have 100% turned the entire society into NPCs sloganeering in the place of thought.
Starting point is 00:18:56 And it's horrible, horrible for America. and I'm not going to do it. How did I get here from Let's Get Back on the American Dream? But let's get back on the American Dream with Laura Trump coming up on the Will Cain Show. Have you ever wondered what happened to the legendary Chuck Norris? I recently saw a video he made and I was shocked. He's in his 80s and he's still kicking butt
Starting point is 00:19:21 and working out and staying active. What's even more shocking is he's stronger, can work out longer, and even has plenty of energy left over for his grandkids. He did this by just making one job. change and he says he still feels like he's in his 50s his wife even started doing this one thing and she ever felt better she says she feels 10 years younger and her body looks leaner and she has energy all day chuck made a special video that explains everything make sure you watch it by going to chuck defense dot com slash cane or by clicking the link below this video it will change the way

Starting point is 00:21:15 I was on demand by subscribing at Apple or on Spotify. Hey, two days. You told me the Brooklyn brunch crew was asking about me on Putin and Kremlin and Zelenskyy and. World War III. Yeah. What was the outcome? Well, they were, you know, asking what your opinion would be because they already assumed they knew what it would be. But then I don't know what that is.
Starting point is 00:21:43 What did they assume? Just like pro, you know, pro Trump and the – Pro what? Yeah, with Zelensky and Trump in the Oval, you know. Taking Trump side? Yeah. A.K.A. America? Yes, essentially.
Starting point is 00:21:56 Yeah. The Brooklyn Bruke brunch crew hates that. The hipsters The hipsters hate that You know, they just hate that But no So I sent them your monologue And they actually were appreciative Of the way you approached the topic
Starting point is 00:22:11 So they liked it surprisingly And I was like hey look guys You should watch our show more And not just make assumptions I just don't know What I'd be curious about Is what did they appreciate about Our conversation yesterday
Starting point is 00:22:25 I'll get more Yeah I'm like genuinely curious like I'll get the notes you know because and I know not everybody is into the sloganeering stuff but I feel like we've lost too much of our country to that that mindset believe the science stuff right and now applied to war and and it's by the way I don't even think it's just people on the left I see people on the right and I see people at Fox friends making these arguments and I'm I just I cannot believe how cavalier that's the word it's just so cavalier. Let's not forget he's the bad guy. Oh, well, okay, well, let's, I guess we're done
Starting point is 00:23:04 thinking now. We're done here. Okay, we're on to, we're on to the nukes. Let's do that. Okay, my next host is a, is a Fox News host, and she didn't make that argument, but she's the host of My View with Laura Trump. Let's start here. I've done this every time. I mean, I've interviewed you, I don't think I've ever met you in person, but I've interviewed you, I don't have dozens of times. And I will bet you over, let's just call it a dozen interviews. I have tried two,
Starting point is 00:23:32 maybe three different pronunciations. Okay? I've ran out Lara. I've ran out Laura. I don't think I've ever gone full of Laura, but I know that I have not been consistent. How am I today? I'm going with the bet that I made.
Starting point is 00:23:47 Laura. I think you said it right. Laura. Lara. Not too bad. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, good.
Starting point is 00:23:53 It took me a while. It's like Goldie Lach. It's kind of the middle. What's going on? Are you avoiding me? I just don't think our lives have intersected. I don't think we've ever been. Well, we were probably at a rally together at MSG, but that was us and 30,000 other people or whatever.
Starting point is 00:24:11 I would say next time, you're never going to get one of those again. That was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We'll never see something like that again. But I digress. But yeah, look, Will, I've been called a lot of things. Are we done? The pronunciation of my name, I'm really not that concern with. You've done a very nice job.
Starting point is 00:24:26 never been offended by any way you've said it, but it's Laura for those wondering. Thank you. I wouldn't expect you to be offended, but it is time that I get right. I think it was yesterday. You were on the news channel with me. Was it yesterday or the day before? And somebody got on me. Again, I could see it on social media. Get her name right. I'm like, well, do you know it? Because it's a crapshoot for me every time. But I'm going with Laura and it sounds like I'm right. Hey, right, is that really the last rally? We're never going to see another rally? Well, that's, look, Will, that one, that one at Madison Square Garden. First of all, I've you remember back probably around a year ago Donald Trump was talking about like just kind of
Starting point is 00:25:01 toying with the idea of what if we did a rally at Madison Square Garden like the heart of New York City and people are like, that'll never happen. That's nuts. And then we got that rally and it was absolutely off the charts. Incredible. I mean, the reception he got there, anybody who was even around for any of that, that was wild. It was amazing. So my point is, I don't ever think we're going to see a time where we have the enthusiasm for a presidential candidate like we saw for Donald Trump and the turnout in like the deep blue areas of this country, like New York City, at a very divisive time like we're in right now, like we got with that. That's my point.
Starting point is 00:25:41 Will we have more Trump rallies? I don't think Donald Trump can stay away from rallies. So, yeah, we'll probably have more Trump rallies, yeah. Yeah, he's got to do one for when he's campaigning for his third term, right? That's also my favorite is all the people out there. who are like, we know he's going to do a third term. He's going to try and change the Constitution. I'm like, calm down, everybody.
Starting point is 00:26:02 This guy has put so much of his life on hold for this moment right now. He is cramming it all in well because he knows he's only got four years. There will not be a third Trump term. I know some people will actually be disappointed about that. But, yeah, he's serving this one out. He's going to do it in incredible fashion. And he's already hit the ground running, as everybody can obviously see. when did you and eric start dating what year would that have been oh god you want me to look really old
Starting point is 00:26:31 right now 2000 uh 2008 is when we started dating yeah okay when did you meet uh the president he wasn't the president then but when did you meet your father-in-law i met my future father-in-law like a few months after eric and i first started dating we our first date was in july of 2008 and And then I went with Eric to, he was like, you know, you want to go watch some tennis with me, you know, the U.S. Open out in Queens and New York. And the way I grew up, Will, is that if you go to like some sort of a sporting event, you're sitting in the bleachers. So I dressed to go sit in the bleachers.
Starting point is 00:27:09 Little did I know when we showed up at that. I think that's in September in New York. We went like on an elevator and we come out in this very nice area. It's the boxes. It's the suites there at the U.S. Open. And as the door opens, they're standing. in front of me, Donald Trump and Melania Trump, and I was like, oh my gosh, this guy didn't prepare me for any of this, which probably in retrospect was good because I didn't have time
Starting point is 00:27:33 to get worked up about it. But attire-wise, all the ladies out there know, I probably would have planned a different outfit. Had I known I wasn't going to sit in like a bleacher set up, I was actually going to meet who would ultimately become my father-in-law that day. But that was the first time we met a couple months into it. Yeah. I've got so many follow-up questions where I was really going to go, but now I have to chase this for a minute. You knew who you didn't know you were going to be engaged, but you were dating Eric. You knew who Donald Trump was. First, okay, back up another step.
Starting point is 00:28:02 You're from North Carolina, right? So give me a little bit about your upbringing. Were you from a small town? Were you from Charlotte? Are you a private school girl? Were you a public school small town? Like, what's your background? Well, I don't want to get all Kamala Harris on everybody, but I grew up in a middle-class family.
Starting point is 00:28:17 So we've heard that before. My parents were small business owners. I went to public school my whole life well, and I went to a state college. So I grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina, and I went to, here's a famous little tidbit for you. Michael Jordan and I went to the same exact high school. Not at the same time. I'm not that old folks, okay? Everybody calmed down out there.
Starting point is 00:28:37 But in the gym at Laney High School says Michael J. Jordan Gymnasium on it. And the athletics director, who was still the athletics director and the basketball coach when I went to Laney High School was the one who cut Michael Jordan from the basketball. if everybody remembers that famous story. So I grew up, you know, with everything I ever needed, but not everything I ever wanted. My parents made sure that my brother and I worked really hard. We had chores. We had to get jobs whenever we were, you know, able to legally, I think 14 and a half or something is whenever we had to get a job. And so I grew up, I honestly believe, like probably most people in this country, ever in my wildest dreams that I think that my last name would be Trump or any of the rest of it, absolutely not. So it's been,
Starting point is 00:29:21 It's been quite a ride. So not some high society arranged relationship is what we're talking about. And that's kind of what I wanted to figure out. No. And by the way, I'll tell you. Like, you know, I know New York.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Yeah. But sometimes that does happen. You're right. Not that. No other families. Not at all. Not the case. My parents, I think, had maybe been to New York twice ever in their lives and visited, you
Starting point is 00:29:44 know, we stayed in like, you know, the Hilton downtown or something. But I met Eric in the night I met Eric, I didn't know that. a guy named Eric Trump even existed. I knew Donald Trump, clearly, and I knew of Ivanka because I got like 17 magazine or whatever it was called back in the day and she was in there. I didn't know Eric Trump existed, but the kicker for me and what really sold me on him was that I'm tall, I'm 511 with no shoes on. So when I'm wearing heels, I could be like 6263.
Starting point is 00:30:13 This guy was taller than I was and I was wearing heels and I was like, oh, all right, so who's this guy and what are we doing here? Yeah, that was it. That's all it takes. He's 6.5. How tall is Eric? Six, five. Yeah. How tall is Don Jr.? Don's probably 6-1 or 6-2? I'm going to say 6-1. Okay, so Eric's taller. I don't think I've met Eric in person either. So I didn't realize he was 6-5.
Starting point is 00:30:40 What really throws me off to is, everyone sees how tall Baron is. Baron is taller than Eric now, and that just really is. I can't even, my mind goes crazy when I see that. Laura, how many, your kids, your oldest kid is how old now? I have a seven-year-old boy and I have a five-year-old girl, so those are my two. How tall is your seven-year-old boy going to be? If you're 5-11 and he's 6-5, have you guys done that? Like, I'll tell you this, I'm 6-2, my wife is 5, 9, 10.
Starting point is 00:31:09 So my oldest, who's now 17, he's 6-4 to 6-5 right now. And I will remember when the doctor said what the best, the best rule of thumb is double their height when they're two. I don't know if you did that. So I did that. And it said 6-4. It said 6-4. And he's, oh, I think he's going to be taller than 6-4, both of them. So I'm curious what I'll tell your 7-year-old boy's going to be. I remember our pediatrician telling us to do that and I'm sure we did it. And I have no idea what that number is right now. But both of my kids are in like the 90th percentile for like the height charts for their ages. So yeah, I think I think we're going to have a couple of tall ones. My daughter, though, I'm always like, oh, I don't know that I want her to be
Starting point is 00:31:53 much taller than 5-11, because I remember in high school being so much taller than all the boys. And, like, that was embarrassing for me. Now it's great. Now, I mean, it's sunshine lollipops and rainbows. But we'll see. I think we got a couple tall ones on our hands. Yeah. No, I think you're right. And I've had that debate. Even is there, I can imagine that, you know, because there's a period in a girl's life where you don't want to stand out. You don't, even if it's a perceived, even if it's a perceived asset, right? Right. You don't want to be taller than all the other girls.
Starting point is 00:32:24 And I think with guys even, I do think there's a diminishing return. And I, if I'm guessing, I think it is 6.5, like where Eric is and where my son is getting right now. Once you go 6667, you arrive at where did you play basketball territory? Yeah. And if the answer is no, it's like, what's wrong with that guy? Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:32:45 Exactly. So funny. Well, we'll see. I'll report back. Give me 15 years. Back to the bar real quick. So this guy walks up to you. First of all, did people tell you that's Donald Trump's son, Eric Trump, or did he come up and he say, hey, I'm Eric Trump?
Starting point is 00:33:01 You'd never heard of an Eric Trump. How did that? How did it work? There was zero advertisement as to who he was. Zero advertisement. We happened to kind of be in the same area of this bar. And one of my friends started talking to one of his friends. And naturally, because we were the two tallest of our friends, we started talking.
Starting point is 00:33:22 And it was actually after we left that night that one of the girls who worked there was like, you know who that was you were hanging out with all night. That was Donald Trump's son. And I was like, oh, honestly, sadly, my immediate reaction was like, hmm, maybe I'm not going to be into this guy because you have an idea in your head as to what someone with a famous name would be like. And fortunately for me, I was very wrong about who Eric Trump ended up being. And we, you know, he texted me. I said this on my show last week, but he texted me the next day. And I had a razor phone, by the way.
Starting point is 00:33:55 So like texting, remember you had to hit the button like several times to text. Yeah. So he wrote me the wrong name. He said L-A-U-R-A when he texted me. And I was like, I don't know about this guy. I don't know if this is going to work out. But we chatted and finally went out on a date. And we didn't order a single item.
Starting point is 00:34:13 of food for four hours because we were in such deep conversation on our date. And I hope that we left the waitress a very nice tip because I was a waitress one time. And that's the pits. Whenever people come in, they don't order food. But it worked out. I love a conversation. I love a long conversation, but I would order. I mean, I would think I'd remember to order.
Starting point is 00:34:31 That must have one amazing conversation. Like, you and Eric must have incredible conversations. Yeah. We do, we do. No. Okay. So now I'm going somewhere with all. all this. Trust me. I love it. So now, with that background, you go to the U.S. Open and you go upstairs
Starting point is 00:34:49 and it's Donald Trump. And you had those preconceived notions not only probably about Eric, but also Donald as well. And by the way, there's not a single American that doesn't. Everyone has a preconceived notion of the president. Of course. Even before he's president. All right. So then you meet him in Melania. And I was, here's where I'm going to ask you a different question first. Like, were you intimidated like you walk in like you're from wilmington this is when you meet them like how intimidated are you in that moment it you know i feel like anyone can appreciate when you meet the person who might be a future in law right you're already it's already terrifying and you're already trying to impress this person and you know all the things you're already nervous about it
Starting point is 00:35:35 when it's donald trump you're i mean the ante is up quite a bit very clearly. So yeah, I was, I was nervous and I was like, I don't even know. What do you even talk to Donald Trump about? Like, how's this going to go? And I will tell you, Will, the one leveler and people out there who love the two scoops of ice cream story from the old days in the White House will love this. The thing that really settled me down was that he, you know, we met and we said hello and kind of exchanged niceties. And then he goes, you know what? I'm going to get an ice cream. Do you want an ice cream? You like ice cream? And I was like, oh my God, ice cream. Like, I could do this.
Starting point is 00:36:10 And then we sat and had an ice cream together and we talked and it was all good. And I was like, oh, he eats ice cream too. Everything's okay now. I don't know why. That one made me feel very comfortable. Were you more intimidated? Were you more intimidated? And I'm not actually going to talk about that day.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Okay. How about this? In the first couple months that you and Eric are dating and you are getting to know, you know, with increasing frequency, Donald and Melania. were you more intimidated by Melania or Donald? Are you kidding me? Melania is the most gorgeous person I've ever seen with my own eyes, like in real life. I knew this. Yeah, that's intimidating.
Starting point is 00:36:49 Yeah. Right. You could go in, I think you could go into the meeting or the first time you're going to meet them and be more intimidated by Donald. But he will disabuse you of that pretty quickly. I've personally been to that experience. Exactly. He will disabuse you of that within. She's always giving that, like, great.
Starting point is 00:37:06 I mean, she's gorgeous. She dresses beautifully. And she's a very nice person, too, which is also, you know, whenever you have these ideas, oh, what are they like? And, you know, gosh, how many stories are written about, about all of it. But she's so nice. And it's, you know, one of those things where I think as a woman, you appreciate so much someone like her who is just so beautiful but so kind and was always very, very nice and welcoming to me. So, yeah, that's, that's so funny. But it's a wild ride. I still don't even know how I ended up in all these places. Well, it's amazing. Believe it or not, I'm bringing this around. This is all headed in direction, but I'm indulging every curiosity. Okay, so here's what the first question was going to be after how to pronounce your name. I joked with you about the third
Starting point is 00:37:54 term. Okay. And let's, let's, let's, the, want to be dictator, all that. Forget it all. Okay. let's just for a minute say that he did want to well the next thing once you got over the whole like dictator thing would be like yeah but he's getting pretty old right so um what i'm curious about and why i asked when you first met him which i think your answer ended up being 08 you dated eric in 08 or 09 met him in the first couple of months so now you've known donald trump for let's that's 16 17 years has he slowed down like have you seen anything which, by the way, the answer has to be yes. Like, there is no, what is he, 78, 78, 79 year old,
Starting point is 00:38:36 that the answer can be no. He has to have in some way slowed down. I have to tell you, you know, seeing the energy that this guy has, I actually think the answer is no. And here's something else for you, Will, that I told my father-in-law this, and he knows I don't blow smoke with him. Like, if I think something he's doing, I disagree with it.
Starting point is 00:38:57 I'll tell him. I'm very honest with him. I really believe he looks better now than he even did like 10 years ago. You know, you typically see a president in office and the job is so taxing and is so stressful to be president of the United States that most of the time people come out on the other end of a term or two in office and they've aged rapidly. Donald Trump, in some crazy way, I think looks better now than he did during his first month and a half during his first term in office. And I've never seen some...
Starting point is 00:39:32 Is it olympic? Be honest. Is it olympic? Be honest. Is it Ozilic? I don't know what he's doing. He looks amazing. He's lost weight. For sure. I've never seen him. I've never seen him more energized, more enthusiastic, and having a better time than he's having right now. I think for me as a family member, and as someone who's seen him go through Helen back, that's the thing that I'm taking right now that I think is so great is that he the first term in office it was just like the rug was pulled out from under him and he was doing everything he possibly could just to survive and he did a lot of great things during his first term this time he's on full offense he has not had a day of defense as far as I can see and he's enjoying himself he's actually loving the job
Starting point is 00:40:14 and and that's a great thing and so no I don't know that I've ever seen him more energized or enthusiastic about things as he is right now okay so um this is my point watch this watch what i'm about do this is a professional broadcaster um all of this is headed to this this topic real quick with you so you've got your new show my view and it's done great and you we had you on the will cane show on the fox news channel we talked about your ratings it's done great and you devoted so much of your was it your first episode first to to maha and that seems really near and dear to your your heart right this whole make America healthy again thing is something you clearly are passionate about it's not it's like a talking point and it's not just a thing you you care about this so the boring question
Starting point is 00:41:03 is why honestly that's a boring question um here's here's what i want to know from you like how how is this a part of your life like why did this become such a big thing not not as a movement for you and look you're very fit anyone's ever seen pictures of you or watched you until you're very fit. So I'd like to know what you do. Do you ice bath? Do you sauna? Do you eat only protein? Like, what's going on that makes you healthy? I love the question. Yeah, the entire second episode of my view was dedicated to the Make America Healthy Again movement. And I am so encouraged because I feel like we're at a time in our country where people are finally starting to care about what they're putting in their bodies, what they're feeding their kids. For so long, I kind of feel like a lot of us
Starting point is 00:41:48 were asleep at the wheel and just kind of like, oh, well, it's on the shelf in the grocery store, so I think it's probably good for me. And it turns out maybe that's not the case. Maybe the answer to every issue you have isn't a pharmaceutical. Maybe there's an alternative to that that'll actually make you feel far better and live longer and be healthier and happier doing it. And the question that you asked in terms of like what I do, I do all of those things. I mean, to be honest, I wish I had more time, but I try, you know, on the weekend. if I have an opportunity, I sauna, I cold plunge, my daughter's always there. She loves when I do a cold plunge. Now, she sometimes will jump in real quick and jump out. It's five. So, I mean, I don't know, like the, what is good for kids at that age to do. But she's certainly watching her mom do it. I try to move my body in some way every day. I think weightlifting is something for women that, that gets very overlooked. And women are always worried, oh, you're going to get bulky, this, that, and the other. It is the greatest workout. And, and, it's honestly the thing that I think longevity-wise is the most important. If you look at people
Starting point is 00:42:54 who live to be very old, one of the things that they talk about is the strength of your quads, like your muscles and your legs. That allows you to prevent, you know, prevent you from falling. It is directly correlated with how long you will live, actually, the strength in your legs. And so I do a lot of things. I do strength training. I do CrossFit. Do you do the same time every day? I try to do something every day. It doesn't always work out to be exactly a great workout, but sometimes it's a 20-minute run. But I will take that because it's more for up here than anything else.
Starting point is 00:43:29 But that's why I'm passionate about it because I want everyone to feel as great as I, God, I'm blessed to feel every day, honestly. And I want people to start to pay attention a little bit more. And I think we're at that point right now. And again, I'm just very encouraged. And the next four years, I think it could be very. transformational. What do you do diet-wise food? Do you have a particular thing you do? Are you a high protein person? No carb? Like what is your food regimen? You know, I just try to balance it all. And sometimes it's impossible. You know, for those of us who travel a lot, it's hard. It's hard when
Starting point is 00:44:06 you travel. It's hard when you can't like meal prep. If I'm home and I can eat whatever I want, yeah, I try to focus on more protein because it turns out I can never get enough protein. You need a lot of protein in order to build muscle. So I'm always trying to do that. But, you know, if my kids want to have a pizza night, then I'm going to have a pizza night with them. And I think that's good. We want to be in moderation with everything we do. You can't do extremes. Otherwise, it's never going to work. So for me, I try to, you know, if I want a little something sweet at the end of the day, which I typically do, I'm going to allow myself that because guess what? I put in some good a hard time at the gym and I was very conscious about everything I was eating during the day.
Starting point is 00:44:46 But I think some of the things that people are learning will, like seed oils, for example, which you've heard a lot about from RFK Jr., people are kind of like, what is that and why does that matter? Changing that in your diet alone is so powerful. And we talked to Gary Brake on my show on Saturday about what a seed oil is. It's the distance from the plant itself to it going in your body. It's the processing that happens to that oil in between that makes it really bad for you. You can get great oils like olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil that you can use and cook with just the same as a canola oil, but it has a very different effect on your body. So those little changes that people could start doing every day, I hope they start doing. And I think we're going
Starting point is 00:45:32 to see a real positive impact overall in our society if we start paying more attention to that sort of thing. Well, I think it's really cool. Now, you're going deeper. You're getting more personal on my view on Saturday nights. And this is my favorite time. Even though I've interviewed you a dozen times, this is my favorite one. So it's been fun to ask you some of these more personal questions and get to know you a little
Starting point is 00:45:54 bit, even though I've never met you in person or Eric. I know. We got a rectify that one day. I'm sure that will happen at some point. All right. Laura Trump, thanks so much for giving us so much time. We'll check you out on My View on Fox on Saturday nights. Oh, thank you, Will.
Starting point is 00:46:08 I appreciate it. Good to be with you. Good to be with you as well. You know, I know that moderation's the key. Like, I believe what she said, too. Like, moderation's a key. You should be able to have a pizza night. My issue is, fellas, did you notice?
Starting point is 00:46:29 That was a little grumpy yesterday. Oh, just a little bit. No. No, come on. Did you really? A little bit, yeah. Did you? I asked the guys.
Starting point is 00:46:37 I was like, is, well, okay. Yeah. Well, you know, you might have thought I was grumpy today the way I was ranting. No, that was, that was fun. That was pointed. That was fun. I think you were grumpy last week. I didn't ask you about last week.
Starting point is 00:46:57 I'm going to mute you, Patrick. I can't do moderation on nicotine. Can't do it. That's what I'm getting at. Because it gives you the hiccups. Can't do it. What are you laughing at Tim for? I quit on...
Starting point is 00:47:11 When did I quit? Sunday night. You don't even know. You don't even know. Saturday. It was Saturday or Sunday. I can't remember. I thought in the back of my head when we had our meeting yesterday, I was like, I bet Will stopped doing Zen for the day.
Starting point is 00:47:26 You probably watch my view. I'm like two or three days in. You guys had a quick meeting, right? I'm two or three days in. And yesterday I realized, you're catastrophizing everything. Like, everything is horrible. So mad about this, that, this show, and that show. And at some point, I'm like, dude, this is you.
Starting point is 00:47:48 And by way, I feel much true. I'm much more pleasant today. Today's rant was great. The thing about the nicotine is I have no moderation. I love it. I'd love to do it three times a day. I would love that. After coffee, after the show, at night.
Starting point is 00:48:01 That's when I would like to do it. I can't. Because it turns into, I'm, I'm dragging ass. I feel low energy. Have one. I feel great. Have one.
Starting point is 00:48:11 It's like every mood it's better with it. And then the next thing you know, I'm on a yo-yo string all day long. No control. Everything is a Pavlovian dog response. Brush your teeth. Time for a nicotine. This and that all day long. And it's, I can't do it.
Starting point is 00:48:28 I can't moderate. And I'm so disappointed myself because I really like it. Yes, you can. But I don't like the long-term effect. And there's different things for all. of us, I can totally be moderate on drinking. Like, I don't, I don't remember once a week, twice a week, maybe. I'm not even into it that much anymore.
Starting point is 00:48:45 I don't like it that much. But some people have too much brunch. I don't know. Lame. Yeah. You got to do nicotine. Yeah. I've increased.
Starting point is 00:48:56 That's my New Year's resolution. No, I just need to do no nicotine. To drink more. We need a whiskey sponsor for Patrick. How much do you drink tinfoil? do you drink do you have a drink every night like five five of the nights yeah five a night
Starting point is 00:49:14 five of the night five of the night five of the night five of seven nights five of seven nights really two days how many nights a week do you have a drink probably three sometimes a Thursday will get cut in there it's like a Thursday Friday
Starting point is 00:49:34 Saturday type thing yeah sometimes a Thursday if I'm feeling a little warm weather um one to two you're 25 B S
Starting point is 00:49:45 no but I'm B S wrong I'm really big on the only drinking when you go out type deal right now so I'm no I'm really all or nothing with it which is maybe not healthy you're just in a different phase of your life too
Starting point is 00:49:57 you're just a totally different phase of your life like I know what Patrick's doing and I've done that where it's like the day's over my work day is over maybe I'll make a cocktail at home, right? And but I went through that phase and I cut that out. Yes, that makes you feel bad. I truly believe.
Starting point is 00:50:14 I don't, when I get home, I don't really drink at home much. If I want to have a beer, I'll go, like, have a beer. It has to stop after a while. It's cheaper that way, at home. That's why you find a dive bar. That's, and they only charge you for two. That's why you got to do the Central Park date because you buy your own wine. I should have asked Laura Trump how many nights a week she drinks.
Starting point is 00:50:33 I damn near asked her everything else The only thing I didn't ask her Was what James wanted What bar was she at So he can make sure what I told him I was like stop blowing his phone up with nonsense
Starting point is 00:50:48 Let's take a quick break Because my favorite One of my favorite teams In the world that I root for Has absolutely been blown up And all it took was 30 days Next on the Will Kane show For a limited time at McDonald's, enjoy the tasty breakfast trio.

Starting point is 00:51:33 your hunger with its delicious combination of big crunchy salty peanuts covered in creamy caramel and chewy fudge with a chocolatey coating swing by a gas station and get an oh henry today oh hungry oh henry I don't want to like rant again I've already ran once today Dallas Mavericks just put a nuclear bomb inside the franchise and it's over it's the Will Cain show streaming live at foxnews.com on the Fox News YouTube channel
Starting point is 00:52:15 on the Fox News Facebook page always on demand by hitting subscribe at Apple or on Spotify two days you got some feedback you said on first of all to chat there's people that think I spent too much time trying to pronounce Lara Trump's name.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Yeah, like, I just have a little gripe with some of the audience sometimes. It's like people just fall into our show, not realize it's like a variety show. We talk a lot of different topics and things like that. They're like, why are you focusing so much time of pronouncing Laura Trump's name when there's so many bad things going on in the world? It's like, all right, man, we'll get there. Yeah, why are we? They're right.
Starting point is 00:52:54 We'll get there. They're 100% right. Let's roll the breaking news banner. Yes. Yeah. All we're going to do is serious stuff. Right now. Very serious immigration
Starting point is 00:53:06 policy and Middle East Hmm. That's not us. That's not what you get here. Yeah, get out of here. But like I said, for those people that want the slogans, you know, and I stand with Ukraine and believe the science. You got a lot of options. You may not be getting it from me what you need,
Starting point is 00:53:23 and I sympathize with you. Boom. But you've got a lot of options, you know? Yeah. There are places you can go. And I'm happy for you on that. I think a lot about you, and I'm happy for you. It's like a donut shop, you know?
Starting point is 00:53:37 You went into the donut shop, and you saw the Eclare, and you're like, why don't you have glazed? They're right there. Look, there's like a freaking whole tray of glazed. Why is that E. Clair not a glazed? That's why they have menus at restaurants. I will say glazed donuts are the best. Why would you ever choose an E.
Starting point is 00:53:54 You're right. I mean, like, there's just no donut that beats the glazed. period the apple fritter is in the range like it's close wrong are you kidding me with an apple fritter you don't like an apple fritter no sir can i tell you why you're wrong man okay you're focused on the apple part of the apple fritter and you're like i don't want fruit in it but the apples chopped up and buried in there and it's only a hint and it's the same color as the dough so you not even know it's just happening every once a while and you're getting the apple flavor which is pleasant but here's the kicker on the apple fritter okay here's what it offers that no other
Starting point is 00:54:33 donut offers the perfect ratio of fried to not fried consistency because it's got all that folds and ups and downs it gives it a lot of opportunity for the harder crust on the outside you following with me right but then when you break it open it's soft and in moist on the inside and it's perfect in that way. You need that amount of crunchy to soft. I don't, that's, that's my problem with some of these donuts, like the crispy cream. It's all air. It's just all air. You want substance. I need, yeah. And that's what I love about the LaGuardia American Express Club French toast. Perfect combination of crunchy, crunchy outside to soft inside. And I'm going to give you another one that hits that ratio an underrated food the churro the churro the churro accomplishes the same thing i agree
Starting point is 00:55:32 good food i like that one sounds that's why you guys are wrong about the fritter it sounds like you want an apple fritter without an apple in it i think the apple's a an afterthought in it i don't even think you notice much of the apple i'm allergic so and i would say the bear claw could be that but the bear claws are often too soft too too too spongy okay what's the brooklyn brunch crew want to know. Yeah, let's get back to serious issues. Will, geez, come on. What the heck? Roll the breaking news thing. Do you have it? No, so this is a friend of mine,
Starting point is 00:56:02 part of the Brooklyn brunch crew, who is very hot on Ukraine and defense of Ukraine. And it's kind of a back in a compliment. It goes, these smart people like Will just put their heads in the sand, blames Zelensky, come up with absurd counterfactuals and pretend it's not a part of
Starting point is 00:56:18 a larger strategic realignment and shift towards authoritarianism. Okay. I got it. I got it. Big words. That's kind of the main, yeah. Okay, not to be dismissive.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Okay, we're going to call this person at the Brooklyn brunch crew. What's the name? What's the name? Oloff. He's going to call this one. OLAF. He's the guy in Goodwill Hunting at the bar. No, call him.
Starting point is 00:56:46 What's the name of the character in Goodwill Hunting with the long hair at the bar that starts rattling off a couple points? I don't think we ever learn his name. Do you learn his name? No. I'll find that out. I don't think that character... Call him Bill. Is named.
Starting point is 00:57:00 Bill's too close to Will. Damn. Thadius. Okay, so the thing is about Thadius. And I don't know him. So I'm sorry if this feels like an ad hominem attack. But it's bigger than you, Thaddeus. Sometimes I think all of this sloganeering is a proxy.
Starting point is 00:57:24 not for a deeper argument, but it becomes a proxy for a different slogan that you have tired of, but truly animates most of your political thought, which is, I hate Donald Trump. So, believe the science. Why? Why did that in the vaccine become a proxy fight the divided society? And the answer to that is, at least in part, Donald Trump. It became a proxy fight for Donald Trump, right? And you keep going on all these issues. Ukraine has become a proxy for Donald Trump. You're pro-Ukraine because you're anti-Donald Trump. And so when you make the argument, Thaddeus, that it's a realignment of the world towards dictators and authoritarians, the United States is beginning to position itself with dictators and authoritarians. And in the words
Starting point is 00:58:16 of Democratic Senator Chris Murphy, why would he do that so that he can reposition the United States into an authoritarian and dictator, kleptocracy, oligarch kleptocracy. Those were literally Murphy's words. What I think you're doing is excusing yourself from a very uncomplicated thought as which you hate Donald Trump. That's it.
Starting point is 00:58:35 And you've allowed like this big issue, like an actual war and potentially World War III, to be reduced into your feelings on Donald Trump. And because I don't think what we're seeing as a global realignment of authoritarian and dictators versus the democratically elected free world. I don't think that you could even believe that. I don't think you can look at Europe and go,
Starting point is 00:58:57 those are the democratic free countries embodying Western civilization, as they all abandon it. You guys should watch the Will Kane show today at 4. You should watch it. I have a stunning stat for you. Okay, I'm going to give you a teaser. What percentage of the German population do you believe is now migrant or foreign born?
Starting point is 00:59:16 Migrant, lineage, or foreign born? Save it. no you can answer that one okay tease that go ahead what do you think the answer is what would you guess I'm just going to prove that I didn't read all baler's email 45 oh you saw it you saw it in the pre-show emails
Starting point is 00:59:32 I didn't see I didn't read the email I didn't read the email I didn't read 40% 65 no that's really high it's that's really high that would be destabilized society is turned over you have you have an Islamic you have an Islamic prime minister of Germany
Starting point is 00:59:47 I mean 18 that is that is why you are tinfoil pat because you read something on the internet and you took it to 10 that is 55% I deduced trying to go logic
Starting point is 01:00:00 your logic so I just figured it was something higher than we thought but it's 20 which is higher than I would guess 20% of your population I think it's 18 actually but right there at 20% what's ours
Starting point is 01:00:13 that's insane that's insane and that is we're talking and the reason I bring that up is we're talking about well these are democracies. Here's a question for Thaddeus. Do you consider Jordan a democracy? Do you consider Lebanon a democracy? Do you consider Saudi Arabia democracy? You're headed down that path in Europe. You're headed down that path.
Starting point is 01:00:37 Okay. How does that neatly fit into your world of dictators versus democracies? And I do agree that there is a world alignment taking place and we may be stepping away from the post-World War II alignment that our interests are always aligned with Europe's interests, but I don't think it's the simplified dictators and authoritarian. I think that's built on the weak foundation of I hate Donald Trump. Go ahead. But he did, I mean, he's just staunchly wants to defend Ukraine and wants Ukraine to be okay. And so when before this happened, he was a, if Trump did something good with ending the war, he was willing to accept that as a good thing and a thank you to Trump type deal. So he was willing to overlook his hatred for Trump at some point.
Starting point is 01:01:21 But now it's being handled in a different way. So now it's back to kind of that. Who, Thadius? Yeah. So Thadius wants, does he want peace or does he not want peace? Wants peace. That's the question. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:35 Okay. Is he willing to give land concessions to Vladimir Putin to accomplish peace? Would he be willing to do that? I can't speak for him. You keep Eastern Europe, Eastern Ukraine. You keep Donbos, you keep Crimea. No. You keep some of what you won through this war as part of the peace process.
Starting point is 01:01:52 Would he be willing to accept that? I don't believe so, no. Oh, then he doesn't want peace. Oh, he doesn't want peace. This is not pro-Putin. This is realism. Here's realism. This is where you've got to get to this question right here.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Do you want peace? Yes. Okay. Are you willing to make concessions to the gains that Vladimir Putin has won in this war? And you can say he's the bad guy and you can say he's morally wrong. You can say all that. You can be right. You can be right.
Starting point is 01:02:17 But there is no doubt he has won portions of Ukraine over, right? And so are you willing to give those up and say Ukraine will never join NATO in order to accomplish peace? Would you give those two concessions? And if the answer is no, no, I will not. Then I don't think you really want peace. You want to win the war. That's different than peace. Right.
Starting point is 01:02:39 And so then I would say, can you win the war? Can you win the war? And you say, well, we can't win the war without the United States. And that's also true. therefore you don't want peace you want to continue funding the war in ukraine until and then you have to answer that question until what until you beat vladimir putin back to the borders that existed before the invasion and by the way i'm going to make a prediction here most people that would say yes won't stop there i'll bet you they wouldn't stop there if they could push by the way they can't
Starting point is 01:03:15 push Putin back. If they could, they would already have done it. What are you going to sell me on? Another $100 billion is going to get it done? I mean, like, what is it? How much money does it take to get us back to those borders? They won't stop there. Because the people that are issuing those slogans that are actually driving these policies, they actually just want Russia to fall. I think that's true. I think they want Putin to fall. And then I think they have a hard question to answer like why and for what? Why are they confident that what comes after Putin is better than Putin? They've done that. They've made that mistake every time over and over. What comes after Saddam will be better than Saddam. What comes after Gaddafi will be better than Gaddafi. What comes
Starting point is 01:04:00 after Gorbachev will be better than Gorbachev and then you get Putin, right? Why are they confident that whatever comes after Putin will be better than Putin? Last thing. Go ahead. Yeah, last thing. Just because I think they're worried about Trump's relationship with Putin, which is kind of, you know. What does that mean? Just like they're worried about what he might want to accomplish with Putin. So if someone else was in charge of Russia, that it might not be so. They just think he's too buddy, buddy with Putin. Yeah, kind of that sort of thought. Okay, how about this? Putin flew to Texas and rode around in a pickup truck with George W. Bush in Crawford.
Starting point is 01:04:42 What are we doing here? Like, are we going to pretend, like, America has always treated Putin like, I don't know, Nikita Khrushchev? They haven't. He hasn't always been your mortal enemy. Maybe he is now, but, like, I think that's worth all those questions we just asked. The one thing we just went together through for Faddeus. Is he fat? Because I said Faddeus.
Starting point is 01:05:10 No, he is very, very... He's ripped. Thaddeus is fit. Of course he is. Incredibly. Brooklyn brunch crew. Yeah. Well,
Starting point is 01:05:16 Brooklyn brunch crew's fit. They aren't they? Are they really? In general. Very, very. Really? Tattoos fit. Why does that surprise you, James?
Starting point is 01:05:25 I'm going to tell you something. The Brooklyn brunch crew rides their bike through Central Park. I mean, they get up and they work out. They're runners. They're running. They've got the aerodynamic helmet and they've got the tights. I know these people. I know these people.
Starting point is 01:05:41 And then they drink them a moment. I always just kind of assume the gym bro is kind of based because maybe that's a younger thing Yeah but they're not for they're not for bulk No they're not bulk no they do cardio James come on keep up what's well I have to I have to walk you through life They do cardio yeah
Starting point is 01:05:58 They're like they're lean fit That codes haven't you seen this Cardio codes left lifting codes right It's true Yeah yeah especially the bikers It's true And not everybody on the left is an obese, blue-haired trans. Sure.
Starting point is 01:06:17 They just pretend to like those people. But if you're going for bulk, you lean more right. Okay. There are not actually blue-haired obese people in the Brooklyn brunch crew, nor anyone of diversity, nor anyone of, nor anyone of a minority race. How dare you? They simply, but they simply. have friends that you don't know about and they have that that works i think the issue is
Starting point is 01:06:48 they're not actually invited to brunch sometimes what the hell i'm just messing with you dan i know it's funny i'm just messing we like brunch it's good time all right mavericks have killed i mean the whatever the mavericks are dead i don't even want to talk about it because it just makes me mad kairie irving's out for the season here's the best i just saw this i don't know if i pulled up a list of the Mavericks injuries uh and it's like seven or eight deep it's derrick lively daniel gafford kairie irving anthony davis and it has all their injuries listed and then it said uh nico brain dead uh the GM of the mavericks he's suffering from a severe season career ending injury uh i don't this entire fan base has been destroyed it's demoralized
Starting point is 01:07:36 i've never seen anything like it in 30 plus days they have taken something with math of goodwill. Bill Simmons tweeted out this morning that he thought it was a top seven fan base. He went to the finals in 2011. I don't know if he's right or wrong. I do know. Dallas loved the Mavs. It's been destroyed.
Starting point is 01:07:56 It's amazing. It's an amazing case study. Real quick, Tinfuel. You were kind of on top of the world about a year, year and a half ago. The Rangers won the World Series. You know, the stars have gone to the Stanley Cup finals. The Mavs,
Starting point is 01:08:11 NBA finals. The Cowboys were coming off, you know, multiple playoff seasons. Longhorns. It's pretty bad right now, right? Longhorns in two straight, you know, semi-finals. So you have the Longhorns and the stars left. They're still good. Rangers are pretty good. Rangers are fine the way into the playoffs.
Starting point is 01:08:34 I think the Rangers will be good this year. I think that was just a fallback year, injury-wise, for the Rangers. I think they'll be good. but yeah the mavericks Cowboys are stuck in mediocrity but you're right Patrick and the Mavericks by the way if you'd have ranked those
Starting point is 01:08:49 if you'd have said a year ago who will win a title first the Longhorns Mavericks another one for the Rangers Cowboys I think the Mavericks would have been really high I think you would have said you would have ranked them really high
