Will Cain Country - The Lindsay Clancy Case Just Got Much More Complicated (ft. Vince August)

Episode Date: August 20, 2026

In a sudden turn of events, the jury in the Lindsay Clancy trial has been dismissed with little explanation as to why. What’s really going on? Comedian and former judge Vince August joins the progra...m to unpack the legal complexities of the case, and explain the one aspect that everybody covering the case has gotten wrong: the difference between postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. Plus, Will and Vince react to James Talarico’s take on the Karmelo Anthony verdict, Taylor Swift single handedly shifting the dog breed popularity rankings, and most importantly, what Will would look like if he was a bald Italian man. Starting point is 00:01:09 I'm serious. They're telling my hair is not there. I just got a haircut this morning. They're saying it's not there. He's got the gel, the moose. He's got everything in that thing. That feels more important. Okay, all right, okay.
Starting point is 00:01:25 You know what I knew about this? Look at that thing. Yeah, screw it. All right, so yeah, got the haircut. All right? So everybody jumps in. Everybody, everybody's ready. Dan.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Ed, Ellie. Right. Ellie's right. I'm trying something new out. Okay? But I don't think it's dramatic. Which character in Greece are you going for? Cybirds are gone.
Starting point is 00:01:52 What do you talk about in Greece? What do you mean? Look that thing. Beautiful. Come on. You know the studio's looking at it right now going, that's it. There it is. You know the name of events?
Starting point is 00:02:04 Oh, they have a name for that? Yes. What do they call that? Well, Instagram does. You know, I don't know what you do when you go into the barber, Vince. Yeah, I know when I go to the barber. When I go to my bathroom, a barber. You get a shave.
Starting point is 00:02:19 You get to shave. Vince, do you have one of those things that you slip on like a glove? Absolutely not. And then you can kind of roll it over. Razor. Razor. A straight razor? Yeah, come on.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Really? Straight razor? Once the last time you cut yourself? Every now and then I get a nick. Yeah. Right. Yeah. I have a buddy who does.
Starting point is 00:02:38 what you do. What do we call this? You do it, Ed. What do we call it? I just shave, bro. It's just a shave. It's like Bruce Willis. It's what happened in the 1990s. When everybody said, I'm no longer going to fight balding. I'm going to give in. Jordan made it popular.
Starting point is 00:02:58 But not for white guys. I think Bruce Willis is the white guy, OG on this. This is coming from the guy who went to boomerang and left thinking he was Eddie Murphy. All right. Mary's too good. That's true. You didn't look, you didn't look at Michael Jordan and go, hmm, I can do that.
Starting point is 00:03:19 No, Michael Jordan. You've never looked at Michael Jordan at a single thing. There's never been a single thing in your life that you looked at Michael Jordan to go. Michael Jordan looked at me. I could do that. I went bold first. I didn't have to look at Michael Jordan. I didn't have a choice.
Starting point is 00:03:32 That's funny. You did not do this before Michael Jordan. You were fighting it. You had the things, the horseshoe on the side. No way. I'll show you pictures from college. Actually, Pat has seen them. My powerlifting pictures.
Starting point is 00:03:45 I was shaving my head way back when. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Vince is a trinsetter. What you didn't even have to. You know, things go in and out of style. And this thing that white guys are doing, I'm surrounded about two of them, of shaving their head bald.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Don't you think it does have a lifespan? I'm not, I'm not taking shots. Compared to the George Costanza friar look of that, awful thing? No, no, no, no. Yes, no, no, no, exactly that. No, no. Don't you think that will come back? No, no, no, no. That is the friar look. Never, no. Never? Never? I'm not, I'm not giving you a hot take. No. I don't think it's a bad look. Dude, I don't think it's a bad look. Because you don't have to live with it. Yeah. We got a bad look. All right, shave it in your head right now. It's a whole, you're right. He's not a bad look. It's a horrible look. I think what messes that look up,
Starting point is 00:04:41 is when you're hanging on to the crops that have died on top. No. When you've got the sparse crops on top. No. But if you've got a full row around the friar side and back. The Larry David? I'm not sure that's a bad. No.
Starting point is 00:04:57 No. Yeah. Yeah. You know why Larry David gets away? He's a billionaire. Yeah. Gee, why? No, but it signals to women that you are virile and you have like a high testosterone.
Starting point is 00:05:09 Yeah, I know what it's saying? It actually is a positive. Which one? The friar look? The friar look. It's vagina kryptonite. That's what that look is. Back in the day, they said, they said that men who balled that way are excellent lovers.
Starting point is 00:05:26 No, someone told them that just to make them feel better. I'm just saying I'm not good. I'm not going to look good. You're right, Dan. You're right. Yeah, someone made that up as a make good. No, I think, okay. if you're 35, I'm not saying that's the look you should go for.
Starting point is 00:05:44 This is the transition I'm in, right? Go ahead. Okay. I'm in the transition. Okay. You start telling yourself things like, hey, I'm 50. Maybe I don't wear the Smedium T-shirt anymore. Or the vans. I'm just, that's not targeted anybody.
Starting point is 00:06:03 First of all, you know what? I'm going to get Dan in here and he's going to check the size of my shirt, okay? Listen, swimmer. Just because you don't know what biceps and triceps are. I checked it. It's actually an extra small, but, you know. Oh, my God. Maybe you should have missed an armed day.
Starting point is 00:06:20 So you start realizing. Well, that's the point. What are you trying to say? Why does everybody got to see what you got? Just put on your, and of all things, you're Italian. You're Italian. You know why I wear this in here? Listen to me.
Starting point is 00:06:33 No, stop talking. It's the hardest thing in the world to get an Italian to stop talking, but I'm going to pull it off. Go ahead. All right. Here's the deal. You're 50 plus and you start saying to yourself, okay, you know, I shouldn't be dressing like the kids. I shouldn't be doing hair like the kids.
Starting point is 00:06:49 I should be, you know, I should be who I am. And I should start sophisticated it up a little bit, right? So what you start saying is, you know, you dress more up. Even though you're in the past, you'd be like, why would I want to dress up? That's not funny. Because, because that's the stage of life that you're in. So a dude, all right, Italian style. Let's just take you, not me.
Starting point is 00:07:12 And you're going to put on some loafers, okay? Really? You're going to put on some loafers. And you're going to wear pants. Listen to me, I'm not done. You're going to wear pants, not jeans, all right? And then you're going to put on a shirt with a collar. And then you put your friar hair on, you know, and you put together.
Starting point is 00:07:32 You put together. Put together for what? Listen to me. It fits. And you look at that man, you go, you know what? That's a classy man. It fits. He's not fighting things.
Starting point is 00:07:43 He's not fighting his age. He's not fighting style. He's not fighting trend. He is class. And maybe it is that he doesn't have hair on top anymore. That's fine. He doesn't have hair on top. But you look at him and he exudes confidence.
Starting point is 00:07:58 I'm not going to play bridge at the Lake Buena Vista Country Club with 80-year-olds. Listen what you just described. Are you kidding me? Vince, he's telling you, he's telling you you should be Gandalfini maxing. That's what you should be doing. All right? Close. Close.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Yeah. Yeah. Close. Think about the Sopranos. When did he look good? When he was at home and his robe and his t-shirt and chillaxing? Or when he put on the thing he did to go sit in front of the Citellies? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:08:32 Where he ate, you know, on the outside. And he was like, I'm ready. This is me, and I'm put together. I'll tell you what I'm saying is. Right. You know when he looked good? Never. He never looked good. That was never a good look.
Starting point is 00:08:45 Robert Duval pulled it off, though. He did. He pulled off that look, the 90s. He pulled off that look. He pulled off that look. He did. If you Google it. In the 1970s. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:57 He pulled that off well. Lonesome Dove, 1990s. Augustus McCray. So did Caesar Augustus in the year two. Yeah, he did. You're right. He did. We'll go back that far. I don't go, we go BC.
Starting point is 00:09:11 Yeah. Some style, Vince, is timeless. Dude, I'm not an apostle, okay? This is what I am. This is what you got. I'm not one of the apostles, okay? I'm not growing the side hair and the beard and putting on sandals or whatever it is they want me to wear and walk the earth like I'm kung fu. Or a cult leader.
Starting point is 00:09:30 All right, so, so the Instagram that I go into the barber, by the way, I like my new guy. It's my second visit. He's 19 years old. He calls me bro. He tells me about his Twitch streamers. Does it make you feel young? Hang on. Since the guy, says the guy that needs to age.
Starting point is 00:09:44 Yeah. Gress appropriately. Got it. Go ahead, bro. Yeah. I have a 19-year-old barber. But Jaden. But Jaden gets old money.
Starting point is 00:09:51 The, the haircut style. Oh, please. That's what Instagram tells me it's called. Oh, my God. It's got two names. You've changed, bro. I'm going to show you. You've changed.
Starting point is 00:10:05 Wow, bro. bro, wow. And he's attacking me? I'm not having the Will Kane show right now. Where's Will? And he's attacking me? TV's changed you done. I just swung and left my face wide open.
Starting point is 00:10:18 Yeah, I got clocked on that way. That was rough. But I'm not down because I don't have a glass channel. There's no old money in jealous. I'm not done. Yeah, that's true, Patrick. What do you have parked outside? I'm going to show you.
Starting point is 00:10:31 Cadillac convertibles with the horns on the front? Put it up on the screen. I can share my... You don't tell me what to do. This is your first day or... Okay. Obviously, this show is not... No.
Starting point is 00:10:43 Not hitting on all cylinders. This is a little two-cylinder VW bug. We're just puttering down the road right now. Welcome to Will Kane Country. Okay, that's what they call it. Right there. Can you see that? Go ahead.
Starting point is 00:10:56 Zoom in, Dan. That's what I said I want. That's what I... So, Ellie, I'm not there? Oh, that might be the douchiest thing you've done it in a long time. I got chills from it. Two haircuts. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:05 I get it. It's a good look, but to call it that. Two more haircuts and you'll be good. Yeah. Well, okay. Hold on. Hold on, Dan. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:11:14 I agree. See, some of us play judo. All right? I am. I don't know if you can hear, Ed. He said, you don't know what you're doing. I mean, like in this whole world of commentary, Vince, is like a puppy.
Starting point is 00:11:37 He's in the ring with a freaking grizzly bear. You just said old money out loud. Are you kidding me? It's an old money grizzly bear. It's the old money grizzly bear. You're playing chess. You know what, Dan, bring me a sweater because I have douche chills from the picture of old money that he just put up. Okay, Vince, okay, it's like playing checkers or chess with a child.
Starting point is 00:12:02 Well, you need to have a check rate at some point. The Instagram Old Money haircut has another name. Another name As I noticed. Big the whole deeper. Okay, you ready? Ready? Boom. Boom!
Starting point is 00:12:18 Italian style! Well, no, see, that's different. That's a slickback. That's different than what you were talking about. No, it's very similar, Dan. It's similar, but it's different. This is Christopher. Right. That's it.
Starting point is 00:12:30 What about Italian old money? Like I said, which character in Greece are you going for? Yes, thank you, Danny Zuko. You think that looks like, Greece? Yes. This guy's on the shores of Lake Como. Welcome to the show. This guy's got pleaded pants on.
Starting point is 00:12:44 He's got a sweater with short sleeves. This guy is old Italian money. This guy's wearing a leather jacket at Rydell High. I just like the fact that Will Scrolls Instagram for hairstyles. Yes, exactly. And I'm the one who should grow up. Dan, you know how Instagram works. If I look at something once, I get it 10 times.
Starting point is 00:13:03 He wants to be called Maximo from now on, not will. Yeah. That's what I want right there. Maybe I don't want these. Ellie, what are you saying? Oh, my God. Why is this not where I am right now? Is there mic up?
Starting point is 00:13:18 Is this? Yes, yeah, yeah. You're saying that is my hair not long enough on top? See, I've got issues. She's right. If my hair gets longer on top to do it, then I get volume. I get an afro. I'm the blackest member of the show.
Starting point is 00:13:33 My hair goes out, not back and down. Meanwhile, he just said that to an Italian that he's the blackest member of the show. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, my God. Where do we go from here? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:48 I think we go to Lindsay Clancy. Yes. Let's go. Let's dive in. Right. Speaking of crazy. All right. The jury has, Vince, why would, the judge literally said, do not speculate.
Starting point is 00:14:03 We're going to speculate. Why was the jury dismissed yesterday for quote-unquote, unforeseen circumstances? Is that like a juror got food poisoning? Is that what that is? Like, what is it? Again, there's too much speculation. It's who knows why they got sent home. It's one thing to send the jury home early.
Starting point is 00:14:25 It's another thing to dismiss a jury. It could be one of God knows how many things. And it's crazy to even try to. It was after a witness testimony, is what I read, that the judge sent them home for unforeseen. This is a hard trial to watch just because of how everybody is swinging and missing at so many aspects of this case. And it's hard for people to watch. And I think the hardest thing right now for the public with this case is trying to remove themselves from a case. You know, a case can happen, and you don't have to put yourself in a position.
Starting point is 00:15:03 of somebody in the case. You could just watch it. You know, you don't have to say, Oh, what do you mean? People online. Are you talking about the supporters? Are you even talking about, really? Everybody.
Starting point is 00:15:16 I think a lot of people are missing on this case. I think a lot, even the people, whether it's having a psychiatric perspective and knowing nothing about being in a psychiatric hospital, working in a psychiatric hospital, medications, how to medicate people, whether people are talking about the facts, strategy, whether people talking about prosecution strategy, whether people, then you get into the
Starting point is 00:15:38 people online that are trying to relate to postparton depression, and this is not postparton depression. This is postparton psychosis, which is completely different, completely different. And I think there's this weird thing where everybody wants to inject themselves somewhere into a case. And sometimes, you know what, just sit back and watch it. You don't have to be one of the characters in it. You don't have to personally relate and be like, Oh my God, I know what that's like. Because you know what? A lot of times you don't, and you make yourself sound foolish.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Just let the thing play on and sometimes watch it. I think I have, well, okay. That's a hard thing to tell somebody who's producing content in real time. Stop talking about it. No, I'm not saying. No, no, no. You can talk about the case, but talk about the case in a way that makes sense. Not talk about the case in a way that all of a sudden people are coming up with theories
Starting point is 00:16:32 that the defense is not even putting forward, that people are just fabricating facts. And things like, yeah, yeah, that's one of those things where it's like. Like the husband, the whole husband did it thing. It's still happening. No one. But no one in the courtroom has suggested it. But it's, but it's like it's happening in Tyler Robinson too.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Like you, one of the most damning things in the world to the online investigators is, how come you're uncovering things and making our, arguments that the people hired by the defendants aren't doing. And I have the answer for you. They're in the pocket. No, I have the answer for you. The problem is, Will. That's the only answer, Patrick.
Starting point is 00:17:13 Hold on. That's the only thing they can tell themselves. The defense counsel's in on it too. Yeah. The answer to the question of why people get away with this thing is because people think followers and likes somehow justifies and substantiates a position. So you know what? If I go out and I have a million followers and everybody's liking my stuff, you know what?
Starting point is 00:17:35 I must be onto something because people are agreeing with me. So therefore, you know what? I'm not the only one thing. People, I'm onto something here. No, you're not. What you're doing is just because you have followers and like doesn't make you right. And you're making money off that content too. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Exactly. So that makes you unbiased? No. Get out of here. Let's take a quick break. But continue this hour of nonsense with Vince August here on Will Kane Country. Two and five Canadians will hear the words, you have cancer. That's why every step and dollar raised matters.
Starting point is 00:18:07 On September 19th, join thousands in Toronto for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Walk. Challenge yourself, friends, and family to walk 21 kilometers in support of life-saving research. Together, we can carry the fire and help create a world free from the fear of cancer. Register today at pmcfwalk.ca.ca. Yeah, so it's real fast. There's an update. So the trial has come to a halt for the day. The judge is individually questioning every juror for reasons that have not been released.
Starting point is 00:18:42 This has just been reported on the last year. I bet they're online. That's not a small deal, Vince. No, that could be a jury that gets dismissed. Now, you do have alternates. You have to see who is maybe biased on the jury, who's saying something. that got back to the judge. And usually the way this happens is another juror reports something.
Starting point is 00:19:05 So one of the jurors probably said something to a court clerk and said, hey, listen, you know what, this is what's going on in there. And then that's when the judge will be. We're totally speculating. Yeah, we're speculating. I don't think. But but I don't think without some type of educated information, educated analysis here, I think, I think it was Patrick or Dan that just said it. That's probably for online behavior. Yeah, like they posted on TikTok.
Starting point is 00:19:29 A juror is posting. You couldn't even regulate a juror on viewing. Like a juror, you can't stop a juror from going home and scrolling TikTok. No. But if now a juror is, if a juror is online commenting and doing things, you could. Or if a juror comes into the jury room and says, hey, you know what I saw, you know what I read, you know what I heard. And that's basically jury tampering. if someone starts talking about things that, you know, anything that's happening in the outside world with regards to this case,
Starting point is 00:20:03 then that could be a reason all of a sudden where you have to talk to everybody in the jury and find out who's saying what to who. Okay, here's two legitimate courses of conversation that I believe exist in this trial. One, acknowledging postpartum psychosis and acknowledging all the psychiatric and antidepressant medication that she was pretext. prescribed and in some cases on. I say some cases because we see there's like 30 different prescriptions. That doesn't mean she was taking 30 at the same time. The reports are she was comboing up two or three at a time. Those are, that's legitimate, but that's part of the trial. But the external conversation is fine. That's all real. We get it. That's bad. A lot of women experienced at least postpartum depression. And we know a lot of women and men, for that matter, are on SSRIs and antipsychotics and everything else. Does any of it absolve you of culpability? Moral responsibility? I think that's a legitimate philosophical conversation that we should be having as a society is how we treat insanity and whether or not it really does in the end absolve you of responsibility and culpability.
Starting point is 00:21:19 And I know that the law doesn't totally do so. You will go, but here's the problem, Vince, you know it as well as anybody. It does in Massachusetts. If she's found, you know, not guilty by reason of insanity, that doesn't mean she goes free. She'll go to a state mental hospital, but she could theoretically get out of that state mental hospital as soon as a doctor is convinced she's okay. That's insane to me. And that's not much responsibility. What it is, after I think 40 days.
Starting point is 00:21:51 So here's, I think, what a lot of people are missing with regards to what the prosecution is trying to prove. The prosecution is trying to prove at the time she did what she did. She had the mental capacity to understand what she was doing, which makes her guilty of the crime. Not that she was having a psychiatric, I'm sorry, a psychotic episode, which prevented her from understanding, knowing, having any control over her faculties as to what she was doing. Okay. That's what the... And can we just say for a moment? From the outside, it looks like the defense is going pretty well. Really well. Meaning, yes, meaning a lot of testimony from doctors, mother-in-law, text messages that show she did look like she was psychotic. She did. And go ahead. Go ahead. Well, the other thing about this type of psychosis, which is really
Starting point is 00:22:46 important, and I think a lot of people don't understand. This is not one of those types of fixed delusion psychosis or like a bipolar disorder that this can happen in a matter of it could last for two hours, it could last for two days. It's the type of psychosis. And this is, and what people have to understand at watching this online, and I know it's really hard. And Will, I've told you, I work at psychiatric hospitals twice a month. I go in. I do the prosecution on these cases to determine who is mentally able to leave hospitals, who has to continue on a commitment, whether danger to self, others, or property.
Starting point is 00:23:22 I do this in the state of New Jersey. I work for the Bergen County Justice Office. This is part of what I do as my profession. This is not the type of thing that shows up in a diagnostic test. And I know it's really hard for people to understand that. It's not a broken leg. It's not a cancer diagnosis.
Starting point is 00:23:38 There's not a film you look at. What there is is, look, this is what we know about this illness. This is what we know about this disease, and you check off boxes, and then what you try to do is you try to fit the type of, whether it's therapy, whether it's medicine, to control that. It is a really imperfect science. It's a really difficult thing to do, and some people never leave hospitals. Other people leave, come back, leave, come back, and then there's the success rates. And it's, it's, so, you know, everyone wants to put everything into a perfect box. that's not this case.
Starting point is 00:24:17 But so my point is for a public conversation around this case, look, you did as well. I went to law school, okay? And so we have this, this mens rea is a concept, right? And that's an Italian word on it that it is about essentially criminal guilt, the mind. Right. Mental capacity. You know, yeah, like this is, you talk about mens rea when you talk about motivation, intent, capacity, all these things, the mindset of the criminal. Now, the problem is we have developed out of this, this concept that you could be in a mental state that absolves you of your normal responsibility.
Starting point is 00:25:02 And philosophically, Vince, I'm not sure I'm there anymore. I get that. Even if, even if Lindsay Clancy had a psychotic break and she's not always like this, I'm not sure that we as a civilization and society are better off by saying, well, then therefore, you can walk the streets again as soon as a doctor says you're cool to do so. There is punishment and to be had. There's concepts like justice and even the safety of the rest of society. I don't like where insanity has gone, and it's not a complete get out of jail free card, but it's not far. okay, it's closer to get out of jail free than it is.
Starting point is 00:25:46 You will be held responsible for the horrific acts you did during your purported insanity. And, well, let me put this out there so everyone understands where I'm coming from. Let's make no mistake about it. The victims in this case are the children, period, full stop. So let's get that out of the way right off the bat. So I don't want anybody misconstruing what I'm saying with regard. Thank you, Vince. Right.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Thank you. The kids are the victims here. period full stop that we're no one's trying to portray the defendant as the victim here not at all what you have here though is a case and again there's case law here will that in massachusetts they don't have the prosecution does not have to prove intent there is no intent that needs to be proved here and that's why all of these people making these crazy tic-tock video i that's noise that's like the sovereign citizen bullshit that was spreading that's people just spreading there's people just spreading there's stuff because they want clicks, likes, whatever. None of that matters. All they have to prove is she knew what she was doing. And what you have to show what I think they should be doing is showing a pattern of behavior that shows she understood what she was doing the whole week. Compare it to what her treatment was when she was having these psychotic episodes. And you have to show a pattern. At what point did she not understand what point she was going through this psychotic
Starting point is 00:27:10 episode that caused her to act like this and when does it end and I think that's the other part of this and it's really tough it's this is not an easy case and I think the prosecution is struggling right now Paula G7 on YouTube says chat does will ever look and respond to his chat is pretty funny considering the conversation I just did in that kind of wild Patrick it's funny how it works what did I text you guys this morning exactly Paula Check it out. I texted this this morning while I was getting my old money haircut. I was in the chair talking to Jaden about the Twitch streamers. And Jaden said to me, do you do the chat? And I'm like, we're working on it. You know, every 16 year old on Minecraft can do their chat on screen, but we're working on it.
Starting point is 00:28:01 No, it's not a shot, Dan. It's not a shot. One day. We're working on it. Well, you've been two and a half years, Dan. I want to know. Yeah. Yeah. We got to. a team working on it, Paula. But I would like to get the chat up during the show. I would like it on screen. I'd like to have it in front of me. We'll get it going.
Starting point is 00:28:20 Do you like that idea, Paula? Yeah, Scott says, the comb over is the worst. Oh, by the way, my boys told me on my haircut. I did show my boys this. They're like, the difference between you and those pictures you're using is your hairline. You don't have that hair line, so you can't do that. So I've got the, you know, what do you call these? Do you like how he said, my boy?
Starting point is 00:28:40 All these things? Yeah. Temples. So I can't do the hairline. Everybody, the bald look is much better than the friar tuck, George Costanza, says Lauren Fulford. It's coming from a woman. Thank you, Lauren.
Starting point is 00:28:52 It's coming from a woman. Thank you. And then J.D.M. says, everyone talking at the same time is awesome. Is that sarcasm? Yeah. It's the internet. I can't read sarcasm. We'll get Scorsesey and direct us. Sorry, we're having a conversation.
Starting point is 00:29:09 We talk over on Facebook. Mary says, Will, settle down. you're getting super defensive. Thank you, Mary. Oh, they're on my side, baby. I love it. Waiting until the Jersey people start watching the show. The other aspect of Lindsay Clancy that's worthy discussion, Vince, is the Internet.
Starting point is 00:29:28 Okay. But it's not just the Internet, because there are people rallying outside the courthouse. Now, again, how many are we talking about, right? But it's a bunch of ladies in Pink rallying in support. And yesterday we reported it wasn't just going to be in Massachusetts. It was like all over the country. This was going to happen. Now, I don't know to what numbers, okay?
Starting point is 00:29:51 But I would say two things on this. One, so the same Lindsay videos are the ones I'm seeing a lot of where ladies are like having breakdowns. You know, I'm talking about crying or throwing ice at their bathtub or, you know, rocking like they're in a catatonic state. but the weird thing is they're doing it after hitting record. You know, so like, that's the weirdest thing about this is rolling everybody's phone. I'm sure they have a ring light too because you've got to look good while you're doing this. But so like you turn your ring light on, you hit record, and then you have your breakdown. That's how that works.
Starting point is 00:30:28 Explain that to me. Again, you know. It's like, wait, wait, wait, hold on. I got, I got this. Yeah. It's clickbait. I mean, you don't have to relate to everything happening. You could just try to be educated by it.
Starting point is 00:30:47 You could watch it. You could try to learn. You don't have to be a character in everything going on. But they're calling her the victim. They're saying she's a victim of a broken health care system. That's what they're saying. We support you. You are the victim of a broken health care system.
Starting point is 00:31:02 Yes, you killed your three kids. But. And I think they're trying. And a lot of women, and I see the comments from TV shows. And I don't know about the comments right now, because Dan hasn't gotten the chat up yet, but we will give it some time. Is that a lot of women are identifying with the issue of postpartum. And they're saying, you don't know what it's like. You don't know.
Starting point is 00:31:23 And that. But like, what I would say to that is kind of what you're saying, Vince, you don't have to. Like, isn't it, can't we do this? Can't we acknowledge the existence of postpartum? Acknowledge that I can never truly understand the depths of it and say there's still a line that's crossed. that you probably shouldn't continue to celebrate or a rally behind or support or identify with a woman who killed her three kids? Look, again, as a guy, I'm not going anywhere near the hormonal imbalance of postparton. It's real.
Starting point is 00:31:58 There's no one denying this is real. If there are people out there denying it's real, those people should be discredited from the conversation immediately. this is not post-partened depression. No one in the courtroom is saying it is. This is post-parton psychosis. And I think the percentages, if somebody could look it up, the percentages of women that suffer from post-parton depression versus postpartum psychosis, this is a night-and-day issue here.
Starting point is 00:32:27 This is not close. What's the percent? Postpartite, what is it? Like 15 percent? 11 and a half to 13 percent, roughly, in the U.S. All right. So I was even high. And now look at postpartum.
Starting point is 00:32:37 psychosis and the amount of women that suffer from that, I'm in a bet. It's a lot less, like significant. One out of every thousand. I mean, again, this is a different thing. And no one in that courtroom is saying this is postparten depression. This is a psychiatric. That's a really good point, Vince. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:59 This is a psychiatric illness. It's a great point. That's, I may have to use that on, on what, you're texting me? Ed? I may have to use that. Please. Versus one in a thousand. Please.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Educate the public on this because they're really swinging and missing at this. Let's take a quick break, but continue this with Vince August when we come back on Will King Country. Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer. Kayla Quinn on YouTube says SSRIs and street drugs. That's on the doctor prescribing. Why do doctors prescribe to junkies where they should?
Starting point is 00:34:35 street drugs, valid courtroom questions. Is she analogizing SSRIs to street drugs and the way the doctors push SSRIs to a drug dealer pushing street drugs? Essentially. That's another huge societal question, obviously, is how much doctors turn to medication on these issues. And then... That's what these women are saying. She's a victim of. Is doctors pushing her?
Starting point is 00:35:00 Yeah. Yeah. which and Vince is very well articulated why they should not be identifying with the postpartum element of this because there's a huge difference between postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis. Q. Bryzen says, of course people think every legal case has a hidden conspiracy. For every years, every news story has eventually been revealed to have a hidden conspiracy. Okay, first of all, that's not true. Not every news story has had a hidden conspiracy. That is not a single one.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Patrick thinks everyone. You've got Patrick with you, Q. Brison. I think that's his burning. But that's not to say. There's not a lot of conspiracies. I just, I'm going to repeat what I heard one. I thought it was best. Just because you shouldn't believe everything doesn't believe you should believe in nothing.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Thank you. Try that again. I know, yeah. Doesn't believe. Doesn't mean you should believe in nothing. Do you want me do it again? Yeah. Yes.
Starting point is 00:36:05 All right. Let's move to James Tolariko. James Tolariko, this is not as of this week. He's raised his hand, like in kindergarten. Yes, Patrick? I sent you some things in the group chat there. I just, the chat wanted to see you have some broccoli hair, so I made some mock-ups. Why broccoli hair?
Starting point is 00:36:31 That's what they wanted. That's what they're... I made of the people, Will. Okay. There's me... This is you with Brockley here. Oh, my God. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:43 Do you look? Oh, well, we got Connor laughing. We got Connor laughing. That's rough. You hear him in the background. That... I don't think my hair's that gray in the sides. I think that's a...
Starting point is 00:36:54 It's just really close. Yeah. It's just very tight. Is that... Yeah. Is that what the kids do? Is it broccoli hair? That's kind of what the kids do.
Starting point is 00:37:03 I feel it's too tight. It needs to be more alpaca. Yeah, you need more. Yeah, it needs to be longer. Kids don't want to see your forehead. Foreheads are out of style. They want hair over the forehead. Let's see what else you got, Patrick.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Oh, mullet. Nice. Yeah. Rocking the mullet. Secretary of War kind of thing going. Yeah. Yeah. Theo Vaugh.
Starting point is 00:37:29 Oh, that's not a bad look. That's not a bad look. that's so of course that's not a bad love that that is so put a gold chain on me yeah that'll get you an invitation over my house you're coming over with that would it be better if I put a line or two in the side too Vince
Starting point is 00:37:46 no in the eyebrows in the eyebrows do the eyebrows right yeah and break out that earring that you still have that you're holding on to uh huh this is what this is fabio nobody knows who fabio is anymore, right? Yanni? I don't know. All the same. That's my transition. That's my transition phase right there. Yeah. Not a beautiful woman. No, that's your, not a beautiful woman. That's WNBA, Will Kane.
Starting point is 00:38:16 All right, before we get to James Talarico, for over two decades, the Tunnel of Towers Foundation, has been there for our fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military and gold star families. Born from the tragedy of 9-11, Tilda Tullin Towers, provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first-responder families with young children, and build specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. The Foundation also offers scholarships for college and trade school programs for the children of Gold Star families, fallen first responders, and catastrophically injured veterans. And Tental Towers is committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America never forget
Starting point is 00:38:52 September 11th. To learn more about the Foundation's mission, impact, and how you can help support our nation's visit t2t.org. I believe this is from at least a month ago. James Salarico was on the breakfast club. Roughly 10 days. He was talking about, was it 10 days ago? So fairly recently.
Starting point is 00:39:14 14 days. Yeah, 14 days. Sorry, go ahead. Carmelo Anthony has had the judge in his post-trial hearings recused. He has been recused to hear, which starts today, hearings over whether or not he should receive a new trial. There will be a new judge presided over that. Judge John Roach has been recused because after the initial trial, he said the jury got it right.
Starting point is 00:39:41 He wasn't like opining on the facts. He was saying the jury was properly selected. They heard the evidence and they came to a decision, therefore the jury got it right. That was enough, apparently, for the perception of impropriety and hearing whether or not Carmelo should get a new trial. Huge crowd. Huge. Yeah, pretty big crowd. celebrated like it was the Super Bowl for Carmelo Anthony. James Tolariko, who's running for Senate
Starting point is 00:40:05 in Texas, had this to say about Carmelo Anthony's conviction. Of Texas, we see what happened with Carmelo Anthony, and you said it was a tragedy. What did you mean about that? Well, I've done a lot of work in the State House on justice reform, and right now we've got a system that doesn't serve all Americans equally, and we know that black Texans have been, have not gotten the justice they deserve in many cases. And, you know, I'm not an expert on this particular case, but I know that there were no black members of the jury. And to me, that's the only evidence you need to really prove that this system is not working for black Texans.
Starting point is 00:40:47 I don't think that's even a basis for attempts to get a new trial, Vince. They are attempting to get a new trial based upon the desire to have character and background information come in on Carmelo Anthony and the twins, Austin and Hunter Metcalf, and that they want greater access to the courtroom. They were deprived of that. I don't know why that would necessitate a new trial. But the jury was racially diverse. It did not have a black juror on there. The black jurors that were in the pool, I believe if a memory serves correctly, essentially disqualified themselves. Correct. during Vodier. Yes. I don't want to get this. Said they couldn't. Yeah. I don't want to get this wrong.
Starting point is 00:41:30 It's my understanding that the appeal also had something to do with him not being happy with his defense. Can anyone make sure that I'm not getting this wrong and I'm not mixing up cases? I don't know about that one. Yeah. And the other understanding I have is with regards to the appeal, the reason why the judge is being disqualified is because it, Whatever they're appealing that may be brought up, he doesn't want it to go or it shouldn't go back before him because he's saying, I think they got it right, which that. That's right. And that, I don't have a problem with that.
Starting point is 00:42:08 As a judge for six years. You don't have a problem with him being recused or him saying that? I don't have a problem with either one. I was a judge for six years. I was appealed six times. I was upheld every time. If someone said to me a case is coming back before you that was appealed, I would recuse me. myself because my reaction, now don't forget, I just did bench trials, I didn't do jury trials,
Starting point is 00:42:28 so that means I was the finder of fact. I wouldn't want the case to come back before me because obviously I thought I had it right. Why would it come back before me? At that point, it should go back before somebody else if I did a factual analysis, a legal analysis, and made a finding, or in this judge's case, if he thinks the jury, if he did everything right in terms of what evidence got in, what evidence didn't get in, and the jury made a finding that he found to be correct, what is he going to review? I don't have a problem with him recusing himself, but that doesn't have any effect on the outcome of the case. A third judge recused him. I think he should have recused himself anyway. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Well, I don't know what it changes. The facts have changed. It doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't change anything. Telerico's saying that would have lost my vote, honestly. Really? Yeah. Honestly, as a kind of liberal, him saying that on that show, if I was in his voting area, he would have lost me. Yeah, that's a crazy thing to say with regards to people that sit and hear evidence. And what you're saying about those people that heard that evidence is, you know what, they're so blinded by racism that they couldn't distinguish facts, law, and evidence from their own racism. That's a hell of a statement to make about a jury.
Starting point is 00:43:54 Because that means that all of them, all of them had to be as racist as he's claiming them to be. Because all you need is one holdout. Dan, is the brunch crew into Natalie Hart? You're bringing up the lib thing. My wife and her friends have bought that up more than the brunch crew. What do they like about the Natalie Harp story? I just say I don't know
Starting point is 00:44:23 It's just like brought up to be brought up That's it Really there's no opinions around it It's just like a thing Georgia Senator John Ossoff Who is the It Boy of the moment For Democrats
Starting point is 00:44:38 There's a lot of hope and Wish casting that he's going to be the guy Arrive and be the guy for 2020 He gave a speech this week Wherein They love him starting this week Right. They didn't last week.
Starting point is 00:44:52 Until next week. Right? They like Shapiro before that. Yeah, it's crazy. I mean, hive mind. I mean, turn on a dime. Now all of a sudden, John Ossoff is a guy. So he gives a speech and he says, he implies that President Trump is having an affair with his executive assistant, Natalie Hart.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Now, Natalie Harp, I mean, as any assistant, is often with the president, side. by side, right there next to him. For what it's worth, Natalie Harp is a bone cancer survivor. She attributes her survival to President Trump's right to try laws that he pushed where she tried experimental medication. It helped her cure bone cancer. She was on OAN, I think, for a while. She ends up working for the president. She's a big fan of the president, as one would hope and think if you're working for him.
Starting point is 00:45:45 And now, AASOF does this side swipe at her, right? So CNN then decides that makes her newsworthy in some way. And they book Natalie Harps' estranged brother for an interview with Aaron Burnett. This is one of the more obscene things I've ever seen done in cable news. Watch. How much do you think she truly believed that Trump saved her life? Well, that's an interesting question. but if she thinks about it, what he did was he made experimental drugs legal to try and that insurance would pay for it.
Starting point is 00:46:28 So it's not like he physically saved your life, you know? It's kind of different. Like, it's like Donald Trump didn't pay his own money to save my sister's life. So it really just depends how you look at it. You know what I mean? So it's like seven minutes of this. You know, marijuana bud, not Budweiser, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:46:51 And he's got really long hair. He looks like, he looks like this, actually. I can't get over this look, by the way. I love it. Do it. He looks like me, AI, me with long hair. What was Aaron's point of, where was she going with any of that? I didn't see any of that questioning.
Starting point is 00:47:10 What was the point of what she's trying to do? Nowhere, dude. That's the point. Okay. She found her estranged brother. It's like, just tell me about your sister. why are you guys estranged? Why, why does she like President Trump so much?
Starting point is 00:47:25 You know, did she ask in that interview, Patrick, about the potential for an affair with President Trump? She did suggest something about that, right? I don't recall. Like, what you make of? Yeah, the relationship. I think it was like how close. I watched some of it. It's a long clip, but I don't have a lot of time.
Starting point is 00:47:44 We know you're very busy. Very busy putting this show together, making these AI. clips of your hair. Yeah, I'm real busy making AI versions of my hair. But I do think she implied it about their closeness, right? And then he kind of shot that
Starting point is 00:48:02 down. He did shoot that down. He said, Natalie Harvey, he said my sister is delusionally obsessed with President Trump. Let's take a quick break, but continue this with Vince August when we come back on Will King Country. Two and five Canadians will hear the words you have cancer. That's

Starting point is 00:49:05 Free of charge. BetMGM operates pursuant to an operating agreement with Eye Gaming Ontario. Why is it a story? Why is it a story? Why would you find the estranged brother to interview
Starting point is 00:49:19 about someone whose only news relevance is the fact that a presidential hopeful improperly insinuated there was a sexual relationship between Natalie Hart and President Trump. Why is that enough for CNN? I would like to think we're better than that. I would. I would like to think we would not do that. Talk about a fishing expedition.
Starting point is 00:49:38 We're not better than that? Did anybody think about a pre-interview on that? You think I would do that, Dan? You think I would do that interview? No, I meant CNN. Not us. Are we as a society? The point is...
Starting point is 00:49:50 We have a society. I can see my team going, hey, we got Natalie Harp's brother. I'm like, ooh, that's interesting. And then I would go, what are we going to talk about? What's the point of the interview? Right. Why am I interviewing here?
Starting point is 00:50:06 Was there a quote? Was there a tweet? Was there something? They did it just to have... Just to push the story forward so it's still in the news because it was losing steam already. That's right. That was it. That's right.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Yeah. Pulled it off. Aaron, good job. Like, there was no substance to it. It was literally just to keep the story up there. You strapped a rocket to that one, Aaron. Good job. That one really took off.
Starting point is 00:50:30 I mean, and clearly the guy hates Trump. That kind of stuff. Too, which helps. That kind of stuff is, yeah, the guy hates Trump. Yeah. That helps, yeah. That kind of stuff gives Q Bryson ammo to believe what he believes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:45 Every story has eventually been revealed. to have a hidden conspiracy. We should just have every... You should have every TV meeting just like broadcast it so they just see how the TV show is planned. You know what I mean? So there's no conspiracy behind the scenes.
Starting point is 00:51:01 Basically, that's what we do here. I know. That's what we do. We're not being told. We're not puppeted. I wanted to do this story, Vince, because I'm super into dogs. I can't find it.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Where is it? Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift Here we go And everybody's already like What? Why are we talking about them? This is good though actually They adopted
Starting point is 00:51:32 A Samoyed Samoyed Samoyed? I don't know Samoid Dog Is it Sammoid? I don't know
Starting point is 00:51:41 I really don't know I think that's just a derogatory term For Italians, Stain Samoid Samoia Samoyet is the pronunciation. That was, yeah, that was good. It's the 55th most popular breed in America.
Starting point is 00:51:55 The Wall Street Journal is writing, will it get a boost and be the next French bulldog, the next Frenchie? And I can answer that question. Yes. Yes. Samoyad breeders, get on it. They are about to become a top 10 breed.
Starting point is 00:52:11 That's the power of Taylor Swift. Breeders out there are like, cha-ching, cha-ching, ching, ching. That's what they heard just now. You got to sell on doodles. When I pick things like, this is going to, people are going to have a hard time believing me on this. But when I picked Manchester City to be the team I rooted for in the Premier League, I didn't want to pick at the time one of the top fives. I was like, I don't want to be that.
Starting point is 00:52:36 And Manchester City was like number six. So I didn't go deep down. I'm not going to go down and pick number 18, 19, 20. And now Manchester City is the top three, whatever. Top two, top one. Because you got to be in the range. So like I got my first Doberman from the Humane Society. But I liked that it was a cool dog that wasn't on the cool dog list.
Starting point is 00:53:00 You know, it wasn't a top 10 dog. And I saw, according to the AKC, Dobermans are like 15 right now. So here's my question for you. Like a value buy. Vince, you're going to get a dog. Are you a dog guy, Vince? I'm a huge dog. I was about to judge you hard.
Starting point is 00:53:18 Are you a kid of me? Yeah. There's my little pup. There's a little face. What kind of dog's... Little dog is it? She's a mutt. She's half-sheet-sue, half-poodle.
Starting point is 00:53:28 So that's not a mutt to me. No, the guys told me that's not a mutt. Mud has to be three or over. Yeah, she's missing and nailed. They clipped her tail, so I guess nobody wanted her. And she was completely black when I got her, and she changes colors. And yeah, she's a mutt. Love her to death.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Half Shih Tzu. Poodle? Yeah. That's like a shit poo. Shit poo. She poo. Yes, go ahead. Attack my dog.
Starting point is 00:53:52 Poo shit. See how much the people like you on the thread this one. Go ahead. Attacking dogs. That's good. See how that works out. See how that works out on the algorithm? Get a haircut.
Starting point is 00:54:01 All of a sudden he's in Greece. I'll attack a dog. I'll attack a dog. I'll judge you. If you pick your dog up and carried under your arm, you don't have a dog. You have a rodent. I tend to agree. Love my dog.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Go to war for that dog. You put it in a purse? Do you put it in a purse? Man bag that you walk around in? So my last dog, which wasn't my dog, it was actually my girlfriend's dog at the time. But we got so close. At the end, loses his vision, you know, as he gets old, he's 17,
Starting point is 00:54:31 loses his ability to hear. He would only sleep next to me and he would hold on to my arm all night. See, now don't you feel bad well? Got his paw print. No, I don't. I got more neat things to say. Had a tattooed to my arm to leave a son. So go ahead.
Starting point is 00:54:45 Make fun of that. You animal, you vicious person. Oh, my God, you're losing subscribers by the minute, you awful human being. He's gained a ton. It's weird. No heart will. He's like RFK Jr. roasting a dog right now outside.
Starting point is 00:55:02 I say the things that people think and don't say out loud. So I'm telling you what people think of you when you're carrying your little toothless 17-year-old blind sheepoo around and your MERS. Okay, you think everybody's like, oh, cute. They're not. They're not thinking that. They're not thinking, my God, let that thing go. Let it go. Here's my thing on little dogs. And this is partially why I'm a big dog guy. You don't see big dogs walking around toothless having to have their owners munch up their food for them so they can drink it through a straw. Little dogs live too long. That's the truth. And that's terrible. I know. But they live to 17. But if we're being honest, those last three or four years, it's not good. It's nursing home level for the dog. And I, a big dog, big dogs bow out gracefully. Okay. That's what big dogs do. So here's the, like, I can't be the dog that I was anymore.
Starting point is 00:55:53 Right. And so I'm going to lay down. So I'm going to take a long nap. That's what big dogs do. So here's the thing with me. You're not just talking about dogs. Right. I'm not a big dog, little dog person.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Okay. So my first dog was a Siberian husky. And the reason I, the reason I got that dog is because I, when my dad took me to get a dog, I walked through and there was a connection with the dog. I wasn't looking for a, breed. Okay. With this last dog, I wasn't looking. I wasn't even looking for a dog. Me neither on my first.
Starting point is 00:56:20 So is it connection. But I got it. I got a connection to the dog. And then I realized this breed is the best. And when you go to rescue a dog, that's what rescuing a dog. You walk through and you see and all of a sudden there's that look. That's right. Dan gets it.
Starting point is 00:56:37 Dan gets it. All my dobermans I've never paid. They're hostages. They are not rescues. They are hostages. I got a saint. I got a on Craigslist for $500. $500. That's a good deal. Great deal.
Starting point is 00:56:52 I'm a big. Herman wants to get a dog, and I'm like, Herman, can I be like, I think I want to do a Doberman or whatever? I said, let me give you a piece of advice. Do not go buy a $4,000 dog from a breeder. Not because I don't think they're good dogs, but because it's bad finances. What you do is you go to Facebook, shout out to all the people on Facebook right now, or Craigslist. And what people do is they pay that.
Starting point is 00:57:14 $2,000 for a dog, and then six months later go, I don't think I can do it. And then they offload the dog for nothing. And you're not going to get the puppy stage, but here's my other expert advice. That's good. Skip the puppy phase. You got the cuteness for a couple months. But every one of my Dobermans that I've gotten, I've had three, I got them somewhere between a little, like nine months old and three years old.
Starting point is 00:57:41 Violet was the oldest. She was three. Not one did I have to house train. They were all broken already. And they didn't chew furniture. Like the doodles. The designer breeds. Yeah, but I get that. I get people that they gravitate towards a breed and they just connect to the breed.
Starting point is 00:57:55 Like my neighbor across the street rescues Goldens. He is a gold. That's a golden retriever family. And any time, one passes away, we got to rescue another golden's. And I get that. I don't like people that look for necessarily specific breeds as puppies. There's so many dogs to get rescued. And trust me, like you just said,
Starting point is 00:58:15 especially after Christmas. You want to get a dog, don't get a dog for Christmas. Wait until mid-January. Trust me, you're going to find puppies all over the place because it just doesn't work out. It was a bad idea as a gift. Yeah, after COVID was wild too. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:58:30 And then look at the original thing. I like the idea. There's some through line here for me. You know how I like Jokin Ed about being Mexican and Mexican culture? And I really love, I love Mexican. drug cartel stuff. I love Game of Thrones. I love Italian mafia. I think I honestly could rival Vince on knowledge between the Genovese's and the Gambinos and the Luchasys and the Bonanos. I think I could do it. I could I could go tit for tat for you. And you know,
Starting point is 00:59:03 this is to take this conversation full circle. You know, my son's doing a fraternity. I kind of like, oh, this fraternity's like this. This fraternity's like this. And I get it. It's all, it's not accurate. It's not right. And dudes are individuals. But there's something about categorizations that I like. It's like the OCD of social experiments that I like. Do you see what I'm saying? And I like the dog. And my point is I like the dog breed thing. Like this breed is like this. This breed is like this. And I like that like. So like what I was going to ask you, Vince, is if you were getting a breed and you were going to dive down below the top 10 to 20 and you're like, that's my value breed. I know my answer.
Starting point is 00:59:41 what breed I would get. I know, like, if you're looking for a breed like the Samoyed at 55, you're like, that's an awesome breed, it's undervalued, people aren't buying it because it's not trendy. I'm going with that breed. What would you do? I like mutts, but if we're going to go breed, it also depends. Like, if I have Will Kane old money like you, and I've got the full ranch,
Starting point is 01:00:06 I've got the ranch, I've got the 50 acres. I would go with energetic dog. I would go Malinoy. I would go German Shepherd, something that, you know. This list is interesting. Let it go out and run. I love both those breeds. I think German Shepherds are a top three breed, but I won't do it in Texas.
Starting point is 01:00:29 It's too hot. It's the heat. Right. It's too hot for them here. And the Malinua is too much wild for me and the dog. Like a Malinua is not a pet. It's not a pet. That is a utility instrument.
Starting point is 01:00:45 He's a workout partner. And if you don't treat it like a utility instrument, you're not being right to that dog. Right. That dog does not want to lay on the couch and cuddle with you. That's not what he's about. That's why I said. If I had acres of land, I could go out and have fun with this dog. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:03 It depends on your situation where you live. Again, because I live somewhere hot. I had a husky as a kid grown up in Jersey, and I watched this dog in a song, and we would brush him and brush him. And it's tough. That's why people getting samoyes now. Don't get to... If you're living in Arizona, don't do that to that
Starting point is 01:01:19 poor animal. Please don't get a samoy in the hot area. The big white fluffy ones, right? I don't think so. I think they're like, take a chow. They are fluffy. Take a chow and and maybe like a little
Starting point is 01:01:37 tiny husky. Like they are fluffy and thick fird, but they're smaller, right? Like a, they're 50-pounders. Is that fair? Okay. And they have, does their tail curl back like a, like a chow? It does. They shed a lot. They're, yeah, they're Russian. They're from Russia and Siberia.
Starting point is 01:01:55 Yeah, they're winter dogs. Yeah, right. Yeah, don't do that. So here's what I would do, Vince, if I, if I broke out of the Doberman thing. When I was on ESPN and I had my first Doberman and then I took a long break and I was like I'm going to get a dog and I did a Venn diagram of intelligence. What was my three things? I can't remember and I would put the breeds into this Venn diagram to see what fit.
Starting point is 01:02:20 And there were some breeds that I really liked like. I think boxers are great. I like boxers. But I've been reading they have some personality traits that are not good that they've gotten there. I'm into the coon hound Like the blue tick The black and tan The red bone coon hound Can you guys picture what I'm talking about? Yeah yeah
Starting point is 01:02:40 They're Big long floppy ears Long-tailed Like the Rhodes and Richback? Well was Smokey a Bloodhound Was he? Oh Smokey At Tennessee
Starting point is 01:02:51 Yeah At Tennessee Yeah that's a blue tick coon hound By the way bloodhounds Kind of fun dogs too Like you want a lazy dog to lay around Dude, I love dogs, man. I see a dog.
Starting point is 01:03:01 I'm getting down on the ground immediately. I'm petting the dog. I walk my dog through the park. I know the names of the dogs. I don't know the names of the people. I mean, yeah, I'm an animal person to begin with. I don't care what the animal is. I'm getting on the ground and petting and playing.
Starting point is 01:03:18 Yeah. So I'm not going to be married myself to breathe. Those hounds howl. That's the problem with the howling. Beagles, too. But I think it becomes fun to just hear that in the backyard every once in a while, just that long howl at the score. Whirl.
Starting point is 01:03:30 Yeah. Oh, my husky as a kid. What's that? You used to house. Buster. Yeah. By the way, I found a quiz of what kind of dog are you. We should all do it and come back.
Starting point is 01:03:43 Let's find out. Let's see what we're matched with. Like literally what kind of dog am I? Like are you? Yeah. No, what you are. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Let's do it real quick. How long is the quiz? It's pretty long. I'm in the middle of it. Yeah. With that hair, he's pulled. Poodle for sure. Definitely Poodle. I mean, we've been riveting the audience for an hour.
Starting point is 01:04:04 I'd hate to make them wait for a quiz now. I'll tell you right now, Will Poodle. With that hair, poodle. Yeah. Will's something that needs. You're a. We've got more hair cells for you, Will. I can do that.
Starting point is 01:04:18 Not really, Patrick. I want to see Will bald. I want to see, give him, I want to see Will. Give him a bald. Exactly, Vince. Yes. Give him a baldy. We did it.
Starting point is 01:04:29 This is Derek Connor. Connor rocks a couple of these. You got your library up there just so you know. Okay, that's not good. Hold on, let me see. I can't remember where we left it off. I'm going to change that for you. I think this is new.
Starting point is 01:04:44 Oh, yeah. This is... Now go back. Man bun. Man bun will. You go back. Let me control it, Dan. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:04:52 Let me control. Sorry, sorry. Okay. Oh, my God. This is man bun. Will. Get that off the internet of me. That's rough.
Starting point is 01:05:02 That's bad. It almost changes your office. Here we go. There's Costanza Will. With the cross in the chain. Look at them. Look at that psychopath. You're still speaking about how that's a good look,
Starting point is 01:05:16 there, pal? Yeah, actually, I am. That's why I'm silent. I'm going to show you something. Rock it. I'm going to show you something. Take this. That's Costanza Will.
Starting point is 01:05:26 I think this should be the next one. No, that's Afro Will. We're going to come back to Afro Will. Look, that's me as you, Vince. You look like a pimp. You never look better. Are you kidding me? You've never looked better.
Starting point is 01:05:40 That's Vin Diesel. Are you? That's the best version. That's Will Diesel. Come on. Is that the best version of Will we've ever seen? Look at that guy. Yeah, Vince.
Starting point is 01:05:50 I agree. I agree. I don't think I want to be friends with that guy. Like, I'm not saying he looks bad. But like, that guy walks in and I'm like, I don't think so. Yeah, that guy doesn't play Paddell. That guy has a pit bull.
Starting point is 01:06:04 That guy is... That guy does. He has a pipel. That guy sold drugs in college. That guy... Not at Penn State. That guy's into ecstasy. That guy's into ecstasy.
Starting point is 01:06:14 That guy has a date rate charge. That guy is got a business he wants you to invest in, and it's real super sketchy. That guy... That guy... That guy... That guy is every... Give me 500. I'll make it $2,000.
Starting point is 01:06:29 That guy is every 20-year-old girl's Luigi Mangione. That's what that guy is right there. He's not. He's not. Ellie, is he? Little. You like that? Not at all.
Starting point is 01:06:43 No, now she's backtracked. I can't tell what she's saying, Vince. Hold on. Don't backtrack. Don't let him intimidate you. Don't let that old money scare you. This will, right? Okay, just take a look.
Starting point is 01:06:57 Okay. versus this will. I got to be honest. That one might be more. If you take the cardigan that you put on me, just take the cardigan off. The cardigan is not. That's not that bad.
Starting point is 01:07:12 That's the Costanza. It's pretty bad, prior look. It is bad. Would you talk to that guy out on the street? You would trust this guy? Not at all. You let this guy manage your money.
Starting point is 01:07:21 Not at all. This guy could manage your money. No, he couldn't. No. You're wrong. Not with the cardigan. That guy is. This guy holds your life.
Starting point is 01:07:29 That guy has a weird magazine collection. This guy is on an Amber Alert poster. Are you kidding me? Yes. For one. I totally disagree. This guy is much more trustworthy than the other guy. That guy is not allowed schools.
Starting point is 01:07:44 He's not allowed to be around parks. That guy is, are you kidding me? That screams Amber Alert. All right. Here's Will with an afro. This is, I guess, because I said, I'm the blackest member of the show. It's a...
Starting point is 01:08:01 Changes your tone. This is the Albert Brooks. This is what? Drill Sergeant? Yep. What does that look at? Stay trooper. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:08:13 This is a... Tim Carrey and me and myself and Irene. I just got pulled over by a state trooper right there. Yeah. Yeah, that's... Yeah, state trooper. Stay trooper. That's right.
