Tinfoil pack.
I'm not safe for society, Will.
Oh, boy.
We're starting off this way.
What's going on?
It is what it is
I'm just not mentally stable
Are you having a bad day?
No, just a bad life
Yeah
Oh god
Jesus
Misanthrope
What's wrong with your life
You're about to have a kid
I don't know
I know
I don't know
At some point the about to have a kid
Has to wear off a little bit
Yeah, right?
The excitement
Yeah
Like at some point
At number eight
You kind of like, yeah, no, we've done this a few times.
I don't know.
That's interesting.
I've only had two, and I'd say, well, you know, the second time you do things isn't full of the same wonderment as the first time.
And that kind of carries through.
And I'm sorry, son.
So you like one kid more than the other is where you're saying.
No, you don't.
But like, okay, one kid's off to college right now.
And I was just explaining to Casey, like, there's all these memes and your algorithm knows where you are in life and kills you with perfectly, perfectly.
placed reels. And so parents, you know, in the stage of life that I'm in, treat Life 360
like a reality TV show. Like, what's Life 360? Where's my kid now? What's you doing now? Where's
you going? I feel like I could compare it to watching the baby monitor obsessively. It's kind of the
same idea. I mean, you're you're creeping on them in the real world versus in your house,
but I mean, it's still the same idea. Similar. The baby monitor is about fear mostly. It's like
monitoring something isn't going on. Oh, I would be watching
Life 360 for fear. Well, no, there is that element
for sure, but there's also a little bit of like,
oh, I wonder if he's having fun. Like, where
is he? He's getting hazed.
What's happening in these moments?
What is Life 360? Everyone's doing it.
Like a monitoring app.
You're almost young enough,
you guys. Casey's the
youngest among us. Yeah. You didn't have
that, right? No. Oh, no. Okay,
so Live 360.
I probably got it.
I guess not that long ago. You kind of get it when your kid,
gets his license
maybe before that
just where you know
it's just so you know
where everybody and your family is
in a way your iPhone does it too
Find My Friends was the first
iteration of that
and I didn't get that until after high school
it's just an app on your phone
that's what I just asked too Dan
because my thought was like
couldn't the kid just leave their phone
but it'll tell you like if your kid's speeding
it'll be like your kid has his license
yeah oh yeah it says you know
it'll say on this trip
he exceeded the speed limits five times
I have a question for the first of my ever
heard about Life 360
actually was from, I heard
a husband had cheated on his
wife and the only way she would stay with him
is if she got Life 360
on his phone for him. What do you think about
that? Well, I'm on, yeah, well,
I'm on, my whole family's on.
Right, but like that was like the whole thing where she was
like, I will not stay with you unless
I can watch you on Life 360.
I don't know. I have to
think about that. Like,
I mean, I don't know.
I feel like that's, like, the fact that that's even
an option now for people. I mean, I can't put myself in that
position. I can understand parents with their kids
and, like, my whole family still has it on the iPhone
and we're adults. But there is something
that's like, I know I can watch every single
movement that you make.
How do you feel about my friends? Like,
with a spouse?
I don't, I have find my friends. Like, my dad,
I'm 37. I'm a mom. My dad
has my find my friends because it makes him feel better.
Like, he always knows where I am. I don't know. I think it's just like
Live 360. You opt into it, right? Whoever your
friend group is. Yeah, you have to share
location. But it doesn't like alert you.
It's not Snapchat.
That is bad news.
Snap map.
But that's like what Five My Friends is.
Instagram has a map too.
Yeah, that's what Find My Friends is.
Oh, I didn't know that.
The Snap Map thing is so bad
because they always know when they're missing out.
Always know.
You know, like, oh, here's a gathering of people at this house.
I'm not invited to.
And it's horrible.
Like, we didn't know in our day.
Oh, there's something going on. I missed it.
It used to be on Facebook.
I mean, Dan, you remember, probably Patrick, too.
It's like you found out your friends were doing something
because they uploaded 100 photos from one night on Facebook.
That's how you learned back in our day.
Right.
I didn't have those issues.
Because you didn't have any friends?
Right.
He was making babies.
Right.
Back to the original point, Patrick.
Is the eighth kid like, I don't know, been here, done that?
Not that thrilling?
You never know, you never know what to expect, really, so it's, you know.
Do the, all is, what do you mean?
Go ahead.
Well, just, they're all different.
So, like, you know, my wife has.
But not in, not immediately.
Yeah.
It's a totally different thing now.
So, like, this is something that we've never experienced before.
So, like, you always seem to experience something different each time.
You talk about the process of having the baby.
Yes.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah. Oh, I'm sure she doesn't forget what being pregnant is like every time. I'm just assuming that the excitement of having a baby, I mean, even my friends who have two or three are like it does, you're excited because it's your child, but it feels different every time. I can't imagine when it feels like to have eight. We've done this eight times now. Are you going to do it a ninth?
I don't, I don't, dude, I'm Catholic. It just happens. What do you mean? It just happens. It just happens.
You know what he means. You know exactly what he means. It's a family-friendly program.
he won't do anything to stop it
there's no goalie
I see
there's no goalie
that's the
there's no precautions
part I was missing
so like in Catholicism
nothing
nothing
right
yeah what about snip snip
can you can you do that
I don't want cancer
I don't think you can't
I don't think you can't
no you're not supposed to
why is that going to give you cancer
what the hell
yeah it messes up your
that's the
no that's a lie
that men tell their wives
so that they don't want to get a vasectomy.
That's a fact.
Just like the throat cancer thing.
So vasectomy's off the table.
Yeah.
I feel like if real Catholic women aren't allowed to take birth control, men cannot get vasectomies.
That has to be a vaccine.
It stands to reason.
Right.
Although men control the church.
You can't do anything?
What about protection?
No.
That's cool with Catholicism, right?
You can't use any contraceptive.
That's a contraceptive.
I'm not about birth control.
I'm talking about condoms,
diaphragms.
That's birth control.
I'm an adult.
So I'm a natural family planning.
Natural family planning is something that you can do.
But a condom is birth control.
You abstain.
That's the only thing you can do.
When I went to high school and I went to a Catholic high school, I was not Catholic,
but I was told that the only thing you're allowed to do is map out in the month, like natural mapping.
Like when she's ovulating and when she's not.
That's it.
That's all you can do.
Right.
So.
What's going on?
Are you not planning over there?
Just a man of passion?
Can't be controlled by the calendar?
No, I'm a couple.
I have to be in the room.
I'm thinking of Patrick.
I can't be separated from everyone.
That's how he could.
I have a question.
I can't ask the question I want to ask, but I do have a follow-up question.
Go ahead.
I think I have the same.
Why not?
Go ahead.
Can you use the natural method of?
No, I don't.
I know where you're going.
I got to all know where you're going.
Okay.
I wasn't going to say it.
I wasn't going to say it.
You're not supposed to.
It's biblically.
Really?
Really?
That's crazy.
That part is crazy.
God does not care about that.
Onanism or something, yeah.
God doesn't care about that.
It's called what?
It's like Onan did it in the Bible, and then God smited him right there.
So you will be smited.
Well, really?
I thought that, I thought he was doing it by himself.
I know.
No, no, no.
There was an intern.
Oh.
So he was with his.
So back in the day, biblically, we already talked about this with the incest stuff.
So you had to marry your brother's wife if he died, right?
You remember that?
So you had to marry your brother's wife if he died.
And so Onan didn't want to do that.
And then he, you know, took it into his own hands when he was trying to,
because he didn't want to impregnate his brother's wife.
Which is a no-no.
Well, that sounds like a complicated story.
I mean, if the takeaway at the end of that story,
is that you're not supposed to do what we're all talking about.
That seems like a leap.
I don't make the rules, so.
I don't think that that's a rule.
That can't be a rule.
That cannot be a rule.
There was an intern at Barstall years ago that he was like known.
Like he was like, I do not sell.
I don't know what words I can use on Fox or not.
I don't know it's about the words.
It's in general.
Well, here, so we should just stop talking about it.
We're getting to the end.
Okay.
Well, he brought up that Bible story.
He was like, I grew up, this Bible story was the reason that I cannot.
Okay, okay, okay.
Continue on.
All right.
You guys had a fight at the Barstall office.
We did.
An Uber.
An Uber food delivery guy yesterday.
Yes.
Yes, in New York.
Crazy.
Were you in the middle of it?
I talked to the, so.
Oh, you're in Texas.
No, I was not there.
I'm in Texas.
The girl that it started with, her name is Gia.
So her sister is Fran, a chick's in the office.
So they've been around Barstle forever.
And basically, long story short,
the Uber guy, you know how they take a photo of the food to prove that it was there?
So in the lobby in New York, like there's a glass that separates the elevators.
She was waiting there for him to get her food because she was starving.
She saw him put the food down, attempt to take the photo and then just go back to get in the elevator
with her food, essentially stealing it.
So then she said...
Oh, he wasn't going to leave the food?
No.
So he was taking the food and getting back.
So she went out there and was like, hey, that's my food.
And he said it wasn't.
She knew she had ordered from Chick-fil-A.
It said her name on the bag.
So she argued with them.
She was like, that is my food.
And he started screaming at her saying, like, what are you going to do about it?
And then our security, who are all former NYP.
Hold on.
Do we know that that was her food for sure?
Yes.
And that he was trying to steal it because that seems like a random thing for a newburgh got to do.
Yes.
Because it had.
My first thought is he realized he's on the wrong floor.
No, it was.
That's what I thought too.
It said her name on it.
And it was like the Chick-fil-A bag.
She ordered Chick-fil-A.
And I guess he said, no, this is not yours.
I didn't mean to be here.
and she was like, well, my name is Gia M.
And that says Giam from Chick-fil-A and showed that he was at her location.
He then got mad at her.
Then our security guys who were all former NYP police officers, so they're all badasses.
Danny came out and started saying, just give her the food.
And the guy threw the drink on Danny.
So then it became an issue.
But the bigger problem was that Uber Eats guy had a full-blown helmet on.
I saw it.
And shin guards.
Yeah.
So Dan couldn't do anything because the guy was just headbutting him over and over
with the helmet.
And I got to tell you, I saw some of my big, bad coworkers not jumping in on that, and I lost a lot of respect for some of them.
Tom Skabelly?
Well, he should never.
Tommy should never jump in.
Tommy, Tommy is so...
I saw him upload his own video, making fun of himself.
He was scared.
Tommy Smokes is so fragile that he should not.
He would have made it worse.
But there were some guys that were in the lobby that are big dudes, that are strong, athletic dudes that were just standing off in the corner.
And I was like, ooh, gross.
You want to tell us their names?
No.
I just want to call them out right here.
No, I'm not going to name them.
No, I just, but then one of my, one of my friends who was Katie, she was a D1 athlete.
And there was ox, probably right?
And then little, little salty.
He was probably another one of them, right?
Are these real names?
He's making stuff up.
He's trying to be funny.
How does he know all these barstool personality?
I know like, I know like three of them.
But see, the reason he was RIP, barstool beef was a real.
Barstle beef was a real one. He passed away last year. So thank you for that, Patrick.
Bring it up. See, that makes sense. What a bear trap. Way to bring us down, Patrick.
Yeah, beef. But no, so the fight. Now, I will say, I mean, you guys are all dudes. Like, at some point, you can be, okay, if there's three guys trying to help, like, maybe there's not room for us. I don't know. But from the video that actually was uploaded, I mean, Dave posted it everywhere. Like, they needed help. And there's too many of my male coworkers in New York City just standing around, in my opinion.
Hmm. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, if Herman got into it with somebody up there, I wouldn't know.
I'm going to be honest.
You can't.
You're not allowed to get in there.
I wouldn't.
Like, Dave wouldn't.
You can't.
But what?
Dave would not have.
But there were, there are.
What do you mean you can't?
I don't understand.
You can't.
Why can't I?
Your face is the money.
Could you?
I could.
I could, but I'm not going to.
I'm not going to do it because I don't care.
The, you can't.
No, I think the, the calculation is.
is the NYPD officer is trained.
He's got this under control.
He knows what he's doing.
I don't need to jump in here.
But I will say I saw it on the video.
He didn't.
Well, no, because the guy was like headbutting him with the helmet because I think it was a very,
nobody believed it was actually happening.
At one point from what I was told that people thought it was a skit at first.
Because, you know, we've had people do skits coming into the office.
Like, can remember that guy's name?
Yeah, I would have been confused by that.
Yeah.
So, like, they were confused.
Alex Stein.
Alex Stein.
And the homeless guy that came in with them.
there?
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's what he's saying.
I will say, so Mike and Pat are the head.
So I think you've met Pat.
Pat's with Dave all the time.
Mike is never in the office when this stuff pops off because Mike would have killed him.
Like I truly believe Mike would have, like the story would have ended differently.
But Danny did everything he could.
But if a guy's wearing a full motorcycle helmet headbutting you, there's only so much you can do unless you draw your weapon.
And I don't know the reason on that.
Go for the groin.
Bobby Hill taught a hole.
He had on, he didn't have on soccer shingards.
He had on baseball catcher shin guards.
You know what I'm talking about to go like, go from the knee to the ankle type thing.
That's tough.
But it is, it was quite a scene there apparently.
And of course, Dave's making it, you know, about New York and all of that.
I just, it's crazy.
The whole, the whole scene is nuts.
What about New York?
Immigrants?
No, that it's just an unsafe place to live now.
He just doesn't like New York.
Yeah, he wants all these immigrants out.
He says.
I don't think that was involved in this specific conversation, but I do know that he,
I mean, he at the very end of the long tweet where he was making fun of Tommy smokes and all that,
and he did say like, this is Montoni's New York.
Let's take quick break, but continue this with Barstools, Casey Smith,
the host of the college football show and Big New Kickoff when we come back on Will King Country.

All right, El-Sayed, I'm not making a hardcore transition to try to get on track, even though we're 15 minutes into the show.
Abdul al-Said was on Jesse last night
Okay
Pretty
Pretty appointment television
How many clips did you grab in
There's one that I'm super interested in
But how many did you grab?
We just have the one
Oh, okay
So I'm hoping
The odds aren't great
Okay
The money shot
Did you got the one I wanted?
Yeah
Well, you're going to have to find it
If it's not the one I want
Let's this is going to be exciting
It's the one you want
Roll the wheel of fortune
It's the one I want
Okay
where in now if you're listening on radio spotify or apple the reason i love this clip is maybe a
little bit hard without the visual but i think you can hear it too we'll pick up what i'm
talking about on the back end of this watch i am so you think it's okay for a parent to slashes
So just go out of Columbia University.
You think that's okay.
I mean, do you, so do you really want to have this conversation?
Are you circumcised?
Yeah, but I mean, that's a personal question, doctor.
You probably should want to move on.
You probably should want to move on.
A circumcision's different than castration.
I think it's a problem.
It's a problem that you think that you get to decide what happens between.
Okay.
All right.
Okay, first, your thoughts.
Casey. I mean, I saw this this morning when I woke up on my algorithm and I just cannot believe that this is not an S&L skit. Like that's how crazy that was to me. Like Jesse wanted to say so much more than he actually did. But the fact that there's no way he, that he actually believes that's the same thing. There is absolutely no shot. Right? You are not changing the gender of your child if you circumcise them, not to go back to the-
You're not changing the ginger of your child if you chopped the bingling off you. No, but they think that they are. That's the difference. Like yes, no, you are not changing it, but you are actively trying to.
trying to do something to pretend that you're changing it.
Go back to what Patrick brought up the Bible earlier.
We're talking about circumcision in the Bible.
The fact that he's comparing the two is crazy.
Somebody I saw on an ex was like,
it's like not being able to tell a difference between cutting someone's head off
and a tonsillectomy.
Exactly.
So my thought looking at it is there's no way he actually believes that.
Right?
So,
my two.
With like abortion too.
So they'll say like, oh men like, like,
like to masturbate.
And so that is like killing a child, which is two different things.
Because like it's only half of the situation.
You know what I mean?
It's like, well, I get the logical extreme analogy.
I mean, that's what you're getting at.
I'm saying.
I mean, obviously the headline is Abdul Salaid compares cutting off a dinghaling to circumcision,
which is insane, which is insane.
And I don't believe that he actually believes that.
Okay.
Well, then the reason I'm hesitating when you keep asking that,
is what stands out to me in this clip is less what he says and more how he says it.
So I may have you played again, Dan, because his condescension, his perceived intellectual,
his perceived intellectual superiority, he's like, you don't want to do this, Jesse.
Like, it's like a bar fight, right?
And one dude is an MMA trained Navy SEAL and the other guy is a hothead.
And the Navy SEAL is going, you don't want to do this.
Right?
And he's right.
That's how El Sayed is acting.
Like he is the intellectual MMA trained Navy SEAL.
And he's like, you don't want to do this.
And then he kind of rolls his eyes at Jesse and his facial expression.
So there's a visual component to this.
And then Jesse goes, it's kind of different.
And I can't remember.
Then he goes, he gives his answer.
And he goes, you really don't want to go down this road, this conversation.
As though Jesse is walking.
himself down to certain death. So El-Sayed's intellectual and moral superiority in being completely
and utterly insane is the takeaway for me. Now watch it through that lens real quick. Play it again,
Dan. I am. So you think it's okay for a parent to slash his kids stiggling off? You think that's okay.
I mean, do you, so do you really want to have this conversation? Are you circumcised?
Yeah, yeah, but I mean, that's a personal question. Okay. Doctor. So you probably.
should want to move on. You probably should want to move on.
A circumcision's different than castration. I think it's a
problem. You should probably want to move on with his eyes closed.
You should probably want to. I took that differently, but I'm not a guy. I took that
differently as he knew, he knew that he did not have an answer to that. So he was trying
to puff up his chest and be like, you know, you need to move on. That's why I took it.
No, I actually think that's canned. That answer is canned. He has an answer. He's prepared.
Really? He's workshopped that maybe with a staff or maybe in the
mirror. That's confidence you're seeing. He came. That's exactly. That's confidence you're seeing.
See, I'm unearned. But it's just so, and this is where maybe I'm just so naive. It is such an
absurd thing to compare that I don't believe a human being with a real brain, an adult man would compare
the two. I'm not sure that I think he believes they're the same. I'm not sure that. But I think
he thinks he set a logical trap for Jesse. So it's not really about what he believes. He thinks
he checkmated Jesse intellectually.
And that's why I agree with Dan, it's canned.
It's planned.
And the you don't want to go down this road and you should probably move on with my eyes closed is like, I mean, he believes he's dunking on Jesse in that moment.
Whether or not he truly believes the proposition, he believes he just checkmated Jesse and he intellectually dunked up.
So you think when that hit was over and the camera's turned off and he's wherever he is, he walked out and his team.
was like you did a good job there? No, here's the thing. This fascinating. I want to get you
both in on this. Here's the thing. It's fascinating. I saw some people saying one thing,
whether or not you agree or disagree with El Saeed, he is a nimble politician who can think on
his feet. I saw some people commenting this. I didn't click through a guy's name was Dan Turnitine,
who I think is somebody. I can't remember who he is. I don't know if he's left, right,
whatever. But I came away totally different. Yes, El Saeed, and he did it with me.
He is a skilled politician in a skill of spinning away from your question, dodging, redirecting, constantly doing this.
But the nonverbal and the condescension comes off, I think, very poorly.
Not just as somebody who disagrees with him in me.
I think you can take a focus group and be like, do you like this guy or this guy, right?
And Jesse wins, forget the words being said.
I think that El Saeed, you know, I often say this.
It's that people say it's 80% how you look, 15% how you sound, 5% what you say, right?
And the 15% of how he sounds there is bad.
It's not good.
So you can't look at that as a politician or a political analyst and go, man, that dude's really skilled.
Because he messed up the 15%.
In my mind, I'm not saying that as a partisan.
I'm saying that as a neutral, you know, trying my best to be a neutral.
observer. I feel like, and again, maybe I'm looking at it from a female lens, but when a guy,
it really believes, like the fact that he closed his eyes when he was doing it, a lot of times,
like, when you see, like a real, like, no, I don't mean that. It's like he was, it was like he,
because when, when he, it's almost getting emotional, right? It's like in a real argument,
especially on TV when you're both facing the cameras, you very rarely see somebody that believes what
they're saying and knows they're saying it well, fluttering their eyes like that. I know I'm getting
like really into the weeds. But the way.
that he's even like, you don't want to do it.
And he's closing his eyes.
He's almost like wincing at what Jesse's going to say next.
That's what I take away.
I'm not saying that he doesn't believe himself.
I actually give Jesse credit for a way he thought on his feet there.
If somebody randomly asks you out of the blue, are you circumcised?
I don't really know where you go.
I mean, the answer is be honest, yes, you know.
And that's a personal question.
Jesse should have pushed him more because if he gave that answer that he's so confident behind,
which I've heard from a lot of lefties, the circumcision and trans thing.
You've heard that argument before?
All the time. That's what I was going to say before. Yeah, it's a common one. So he feels so confident because he knows a lot of people, his constituents and voters agree with what he was about to say. And he would come away with that with such confidence that he won over Jesse that if Jesse let him say that argument, he would have looked absolutely ridiculous on national television.
I can't believe that's a real argument.
I can't believe it either. I cannot believe it. It's a real lefty talking point.
Like, are the people that are making that argument know what circumcision is?
Yeah. But it's.
Like that's, I know that sounds like such an elementary question.
They're talking about just changing genitals in any way.
I mean, it's just, yeah.
I give Jesse credit because Jesse, you could see in his eyes.
I mean, I don't know him personally.
I know you do.
Well, like, he wanted to say so much more than he's probably allowed to say.
I don't know what he was editing.
I don't know that he was self-editing anything.
Really?
Yeah.
What would he be self-editing?
He's not one.
He's not one to do that.
I think he, no, I think he wanted to be if he could like, like, are you serious?
this is something that you're really asking me.
It was almost like he was so shocked.
You're right.
He thought great on his feet.
I'm not saying he did a bad job.
He did an incredible job.
But it's such an absurd statement to actually make and then to keep pushing.
It's a great analogy.
Like you said, it's like a Navy seal being like, you don't want to do this.
If I'm just like, no, say it.
What's your argument?
Would you answer?
Actually say it.
On air?
The circumcision thing?
Yeah.
Would you be like, yeah?
Or no.
Whatever.
I think I would.
It's one of those things you don't know until you're in moments.
It's almost like being in a fight.
Like, how do you react?
I think I would because I think that my default is just be honest, be direct.
But it's also like totally, it's a red herring.
Like you're sitting there thinking you're having a conversation about and then somebody throws this like total while.
I have never heard that.
You would have maybe been more prepared, Dan, because I've literally never heard that argument before.
I mean either.
Maybe Dan needs to just go around.
When people make that argument to you, Dan, is it men?
Men, and it's men that have heard it from women and they regurgitate it because they feel it makes women comfortable in their circles.
What?
You know what I mean?
Maybe you should consult on Fox News shows.
I don't want to be in that circle.
I don't want to be in that circle.
Like just in case.
He should do what on Fox News shows?
He should consult, you know?
Be the liberal.
Be the lefty whisper.
Hey, just so you know, he's probably the show the city.
What do you call him the brunch crew, right?
bring the brunch crew points
We could be pretty good at it.
Remember the girl that went viral for a long time on
I think it was Twitter, but she would do the
talking points of her dad and his buddies, like what
they would talk about at the bar every week. Did you ever see that?
Did you ever get in that algorithm? I kind of remember.
And it was like, she was like an adult woman
and her dad would go with his friends
and they would have like talking points. And they were always
really funny, like whether it was football season or whatever.
Dan could bring that with the brunch crew every morning.
Yeah, you should, Dan. People think circumcision
is changing.
I want to hear the arguments.
Yeah, by the way, okay, I feel like I would have been prepared for this.
If I worked at Target and they were like, hey, we got a new costume, okay?
Yeah, yeah.
Here's our new costume.
Dan's working on getting it up.
Okay.
I've got it up in my studio, Dan.
But I don't think you have a camphor.
It's a clown costume.
Can you get that image up, Dan?
it's like kids glow under black light circus clown Halloween costume body suit
okay just leave that image up obviously the orange and black costume is the one that
Target put out and then it's got like this gigantic toothy smile a tiny hat and you can see the
kid's eyes I just like a clown and I Patrick Patrick I have a long history of pushing back on
ridiculous claims of something appears to be racist. A long and credible history. I do think I would
have raised my hands to Target and been like, hey, anyone think this one's a little off?
A hundred percent. How does a corporation that big with that many eyeballs through all the red
tape that you have to get to actually have this go live on your website, no one stopped.
Put up your other image in because it shows the Jim Crow original cartoonish figure, which I don't even
know if you said to me, hey, Will, what's the Jim Crow figure? I've been able to know.
But I guess it's in my brain enough that I would have seen. Literally, the pose is almost the
same. The pose is almost identical. By the way, I love this tweet. This is kind of how I feel
that. Emily Zanati says, oh, ha, ha, I bet people are overreacting to something silly again.
Holy shit. How does that even happen? That is, the way that Emily said that is,
so accurate because it was the same thing again.
I'm just scrolling my
timeline looking. I'm like, what is Target
apologizing for? It can't be that big of a deal. And I saw
I was like, I cannot believe this is happening.
Like the hands, like everything
is just so bad. It's yeah.
It's like, uh, and they try. There's been a couple
others where you're like, you have an
entire company with I'm
sure still a DEI
department. And all of these people
working in marketing, trust me.
They're not Jesse Waters' primetime
viewers. They should be a tonal
to this stuff. And that
slipped through, that slipped through
without any of them going, hey,
this right here, this could
set off some red flags. So I had one of
my friends, I was talking about
it this morning, we were texting back and forth, and she said
she was like, you almost have to believe that they knew
that it could potentially go bad because of the kid
they chose to model it. Had they put a white kid in that, then it would have
Is it black kid? Yes. It is. So it's like
they almost like knew
get good for you for not noticed.
Well, his whole body's covered up.
No, his face is out.
Oh, my God.
Yeah, I guess, I mean, it's one of those masks that are like a, um, but if it was a, uh, uh, you ever seen those masks that people are putting on that totally changed?
Like, if I were committing a robbery, I see it on the internet all the time, just a little stretchy, stretchy, like, panty hose things.
And you look like a different person at the end of it.
A totally different person.
It's horrifying.
Like, I could be an Asian woman, you know, if I put one of these things on my head.
It looks like that, actually.
Yeah.
There's just, there's a lot.
that you would think that somebody would say,
maybe, maybe not.
Maybe we don't.
We don't do this.
It's also not a circus clown.
It doesn't look like a circus clown.
Yeah, the problem here I think is,
I've never seen a clown like this.
Yeah.
I make up and I mean,
clowns have little hats sometimes.
That's not a problem.
That does not look like a circus clown.
A circus clown has a distinct look that we all know.
And you know it if you saw it.
And I like how they tried to dress it up as,
hey,
but it glows under the black,
though.
Glows.
So that's the cool
part of this.
Can't say that, Casey.
Casey, do you have any foreign money
that you're taking
that we need to disclose?
Not that I know of.
It's about to come out.
Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna
wants to pass a new bill
wherein she forces
influencers.
You're an influencer.
No, I'm not.
That's what you are, an influencer.
So are you, Mr. Old Money Hair.
Require influencers to disclose
payments from foreign governments.
Um, no disrespect to influencers, but I, from, why are you acting like, so well, it's not an influencer.
You have to, because you're saying it in a patronizing tone.
Yeah.
He, he, he's getting his haircuts from Instagram.
He's being influenced by influencers.
What's worse?
I'm, and I'm an influencee.
Not an influencer.
Not.
No, you're not.
Um, no, I, the reason, influencers make their money off of influencing people on social media.
Casey came in today and didn't realize I was in the office.
and I could just hear her just talking with Ellie all about my old money haircut.
Yes.
On and on and on.
And my confidence was deemed significant.
Why?
I said I liked it.
Because before you got here, Ellie said my jeans were jaggings, and it bothered me,
and I hate her because it's true.
They're too stretchy.
Are they actual juggings or they just look like juggings?
No, well.
Can I, am I allowed to grab them?
You're not.
I want to know if they're juggings or not.
Belt buckles?
belt loops you have belt loops they're like the pajama inside yeah i got belt loops are they like
pajama feeling i just i'm curious because like they're comfortable jinges have they make them like
golf pants like that where they're like almost like leggings for girls the golf men's golf pants
are kind of like that now i'm in the market for some new jeans some jeans that i don't wear with boots i
got my boot jeans covered it's the other jeans that i'm in the wilderness on right now and i've been
in the wilderness for quite some time quite honest she did say you're getting a whole new wardrobe i
didn't know, first of all, we weren't talking poorly about you. I didn't know you were here. Otherwise, I would have just walked in and said, can I see this haircut? I think your haircut looks great. But you're allowed to wear juggings. No, you're not. No one's allowed to wear juggings. Well, you're wearing them right now, so you obviously thought you're-
I hate everybody. I hate everybody. I think this hair's looking a little Italian. Did you put something in your hair today? I like this hair. I like this hair. I stand by, I told him. It's not. The only difference of my hair is I'm not parting it. That's it. You look like he looks like you. I will say. I will say.
It looks more Italian.
Great program.
Yeah.
Really?
No, I don't know.
So I had him show me the actual picture that he thought old money was.
The difference isn't, Dan, you know this.
Patrick, you probably do too.
Why does Dan know this?
Because of hair, people do hard parts.
Yeah, like people actually shave hard parts into their hair for styles like that.
You're not doing that, so it's fine.
You don't have to.
You could do a hard part without.
No, I know about, but some people do shave it in to make it like a stauncher part.
You're not doing that.
I think it looks great.
Oh, thank you.
I just wanted to see it in real life.
Congresswoman Luna says there's a big difference between having an organic opinion
and secretly acting on behalf of a foreign interest to push propaganda to Americans.
Foreign adversaries have been actively using disinformation and psychological operations to divide Americans,
erode our national security and undermine U.S. foreign policy.
Americans deserve to know when the voice is shaping them and they see online are working on behalf of foreign interests.
Do you think this is a – I know we've had this conversation at times.
There was a group that was exposed for getting money from Russia, right, Patrick?
Yes.
And there's always conversations about Middle Eastern countries, and there's always conversations about Israel, and there's always conversations about China.
And I need to know.
Is everybody getting money?
Is this a big, big issue?
Everyone but us.
I'm not, by the way.
Yes.
Yeah.
Well, I think the progress.
We've gotten the influencing game, you would.
Well, I think the problem is they don't know that you get money from.
I don't know.
I'm kind of a little bit concerned.
No, I do think that they're, I understand what she's saying.
I think it's very hard to police that.
Like, I think, like, there's no way you're going to know where influences are actually getting paid from.
Like, what all of a sudden, all the only fans models have to say where they're getting money from?
Like, publicly?
Yeah.
We know how they're getting their money.
Well, the government was.
Those trips to Dubai.
Yeah.
But also, they don't show themselves as foreign countries.
They could just be companies that were like, hey, we'll give you this product.
That's what I'm saying.
whatever, so I have no idea they're doing it.
But it's really like, I do wonder how pervasive it is in political commentary.
I do wonder how pervasive it is.
I think, why do you know that? You don't know that.
I think huge. Why wouldn't it be? That would be my first thought to do if I was a foreign nation.
That would be the easiest way to get into the minds of Americans.
Just like infiltrate influencers?
You watch the agency. They talk about this.
I mean, would it surprise you if this is way more prevalent than we think?
when we say prevalent, do you think like 30% of online political influencers, do you think 30% have money coming in from foreign governments?
Yeah.
At least minimum.
Oh, see, I think it's too high.
Really?
Minimum.
From foreign?
From non-American companies.
I think.
Connected to the government.
That's the difference.
Oh, connected to another government?
Because if you're talking about companies, yeah, if you're talking about companies that are foreign.
and that's going to be much higher than 30%.
It's tough because his government.
His point, like an NGO
in Qatar, like
or, you know,
it's hard to know where that line
is and where the influence is no longer
coming in. Right.
Well, there's also, I mean, if you just take it just in
America, like I do think it's more prevalent
on the left, but I think, I mean, the
DNC is funding some of these influencers
to go out and just be completely... Well, yeah.
Like, so if it's happening in America...
Having his fingers everywhere.
Yeah, then obviously it's,
happening and I don't I don't know how you police that though because then happens everywhere
it's absolutely 100% oh absolutely um okay lastly before we get into college football
um enous canter and royce white have been ruled ineligible for the w nb a draft
um the league the w nba has not articulated why they are ineligible
I presume it is because only women are eligible for the WNBA draft.
The league also characterized Cantor's antics as a publicity stunt.
So let me say this, and I think you disagree with me, Casey, so we're going to see it.
At least in part, not fully yet, Cantor's point has been proven.
His case has been made.
He's forced the league to say,
it is only for women.
Now the issue will be,
what do you mean by a woman?
What do you mean?
He doesn't define himself as a woman.
He already upset.
No, I'm not upset.
I don't.
I think what he thought he was doing
was completely ruined the other night
on Sunday night.
Why?
Because I think that he made it so upset.
Now, listen, he did force a conversation.
You and I had this conversation on TV a few weeks ago.
Men should not play in women's sports.
What he did was give them a size.
show to say, look, he's mocking the WMBA. He's mocking trans athletes. He's mocking women.
And then going to the game, wearing a shirt that says woman, he doesn't actually think he's a woman.
People can very clearly tell that. He's making it about himself. It is a publicity sign. It's all about him.
Then he gets into it with what he thinks. Why are you in his mind on whether or not he truly believe?
I don't care. I don't care. If you separated the actual issue from like sports and like what he's doing, okay, you can I can understand why people think it's
funny because he's not proving anything he's making
it worse because then what he did was going
to the game and he's like getting in public
beefs with the women on the corner
like that to me is like you're... Different story.
You're not making it about
women. Like you're not making it about women.
Like saying like he didn't protest.
He went to a game.
And he cheered and then she freaked out on him.
Right, but it's like wink wink
nudge, nudge.
You know.
Let's take quick break, but continue this with
Barstools.
Casey Smith, the host of the college football show
and Big New Kickoff, when we come back on Will King Country.
Literally, what did he do wrong?
He didn't do anything wrong.
I'm not saying he did something wrong.
I'm saying that I think that the point that leading up to this was
if the WMBA is not going to define what a woman is.
They should define what a woman.
It's a biological woman.
Trans athletes should not play in the WBA.
That's fine.
What he's doing is he's making it so much about him.
The spotlight has to be on him.
Allegedly, that's the only way for him to do it.
Otherwise, how does he do this without him being?
in the spotlight. Explain to me that. I think that what he, I don't know him personally. I don't know
if anybody on this knows him personally. But what it looks like to me is that he's in attention,
can I say the way? He looks like he's an attention W. He's in attention to war. That's what it
looks like to me. And I didn't know. I never know. I want to be careful. I don't want to get
Will and trouble. He does not come off as a genuine person trying to actually get the answer.
What it comes off is, I want this to be about me. I'm going to stand up and make this about me.
and he doesn't have to do that to get these answers.
Royce White wasn't standing next to him.
Royce White's wearing a wig.
Also ridiculous.
But that's the point, though.
Like, that's the point is like that, and by the way, did you hear like exactly what the exchange allegedly was?
I just don't know how you force this conversation.
I don't know how you force this reality.
I don't know how you force the public and through the lens of the WMBA to confront their own absurd contradictions without being in the spotlight.
I don't know how he does this and still remain.
something that you wouldn't see as an attention or i can't tell you he's not being an attention
to or but i don't know how you force this and this should be forced it should be forced why is he
he because it should be forced but he's not doing it for like what i i truly again you're right i can't
put my myself in his head i can't put it in the thought process but if you're actually trying to say i
want to protect real women in the wmba you don't go as a gigantic man who is not trying to
actually transition wearing a woman shirt and publicly beefing with the women you're allegedly
trying to protect. That is attention
seeking. That's the guy at the bar that
wants to make it all about himself.
A lot of the people who
allegedly are transitioning aren't really doing it.
And that he's calling out
the hypocrisdom. There's no definition of
really doing it. And that's the
everybody's playing in this gray zone.
You were a transvestite.
And they're just subjectively feeling it out as they go.
There's no definition of transitioning.
There's none. There's none
other than self-
identification. That's where we are. So he satisfies that requirement. I don't, I don't think so because
he's not actually identifying as that. He's doing it publicly for a publicity sign. I would like it very,
very clear that the WMBA is the in the wrong here. The WMBA not just saying you are a woman because
you are born a woman is the biggest problem that we have. But if we're actually going to get to that
answer, this is not helping. This is because this is giving the same thing I said. One could argue it's
helping everything. It's helping, it's helping clarity on this issue. They will have to,
okay, they're going to keep Royce White and his canter out because presumably they're not women.
Okay, but then another test case will come along. And that case will also force the question,
what do you mean? What do you mean when someone says they are or are not a woman?
I believe, I do agree with that part. I could hear out the argument, and I know you and I
disagree with a couple weeks ago. And at that moment, if they're not consistent, they're going to have to be
faced with their own contradictions.
showing up on Sunday in person.
And I understand he didn't start it.
And like allegedly the whole conversation was he cheered when Sophie hit a three.
And they said, what do you think she's going to sleep with you or she's not going to sleep with you or whatever it was?
Like in that moment, if you're actually trying to help, you don't just start yelling and screaming.
And you don't like make it about you.
If you're actually trying to help.
And I don't think that he is.
Again.
So he should have sat down.
I think that he, he, the visual of a big grown ass man, because that's what he is saying that he's identifying as a woman.
for the WMBA publicity stunt, screaming and yelling at women on a WMBA court is not a good visual
for the argument of...
Well, I just got done talking about how communication is a lot of things other than actually
what you're communicating.
So like the El-Sayed, body language, condescension, all that.
That's what it looked like.
I can give you some points on analyzing the imagery of it all.
That's the whole thing to me.
And that's why I...
But you've got to go deeper.
You do have to go deeper, but I do think that Sunday made it...
It reversed anything that he was trying to do seriously.
because I do believe that there are plenty of men that are out there that are like, I don't want my daughters playing against dudes.
I also don't want a grown-ass man screaming at my daughter.
You don't want to go down this road.
Are you going to close your eyes too?
Don't go down this road.
The WMBA is the biggest villain here.
Are you circumcised?
You just don't want to go to them.
He is making it about himself.
All right.

All right.
I believe I heard you guys say RJ is ready.
We got RJ?
Yeah, well.
Right there.
Boom.
There is.
There is.
RJ Young, Fox Sports.com's National College Football analyst, the host of Adapt and Respond.
Every year, RJ does his 100, he ranks them all, 138 teams.
Really, the impressive part is, obviously, where does he get hard, RJ?
72, 51?
Is that a shot?
Surely it's not 117.
I mean, yes and no.
Because there's always going to be a power 14 that's in that vicinity that everybody wants to pick a fight about.
But that's not where it gets hard for me.
Where it gets hard for me is places where your eyes normally go, right?
126, 100, 101, 99 in there because I don't think that many people look past their team, right?
They look at their team.
They look at the rival.
Right.
Let's look at the round number.
That's a really good point because I do exactly that.
I look where A&M is and then after A&M then I want to go to the round numbers and see it.
I think he had.
Did you have A&M like 11th, R.J?
Nine?
Nine?
Thank you.
It was nine.
You have to have.
Yes, I'm happy with that.
Yes, I'm very happy with that.
And he's a ball knower, so he obviously knows where A&M should be ranked.
After they fell apart last year, I'm surprised you didn't have him lower, but, you know, hey, what are you going to do?
Just because you lose the Texas doesn't need to develop up.
Thank you.
I didn't want to be on this part of the segment.
Why?
Where's Florida State?
Wait, wait, wait, we may have the answer.
I was about to ask RJ, who is the lowest ranked power 14?
It's not good.
It's Michigan State.
Michigan State's the lowest ranked power 14th.
Oh, I bet they do not like that.
Where did Florida State come in?
Oh, man, I'd have to look.
Like, that's the problem.
I have to go digging down through it.
I'm sure.
Pat, what do I have here?
77.
Patrick knows it for sure.
77, Patrick?
Yes.
Oh my gosh.
I think that's fair, RJ.
That's very fair.
We suck.
I wish we were lower.
Hey, man.
I really want Florida State to be good.
I enjoy it when Florida State is good, right?
A lot of history there, but it's not been fun with the night
Burlboro experience.
I think if you have a losing season, that's like seven
out of nine. And that's just, I didn't grow up with that. None of us grew up with that.
So I'm with you. Like, I want them to be better. But I also am just kind of looking at this going,
what's the ACC? Because after Miami, you can make an argument for almost anybody, including
Florida State. It's just, is the Ashton-Daniels experiment going to work? Is the Quintravion
Weissor-Wisner experiment going to work? And is Deuce Robinson that guy? I don't know. We'll find out.
Yeah. Wisner's good. Wigner's a long corner.
RJ, can I ask you a question?
You have to bring it back to Texas.
I have to, so you said it's good for the sport when Florida State is good.
There's a lot of people that hate that argument.
When you look at when you're ranking these teams, do you have like a certain group that you don't have any rooting interest in?
They're like, God, I wish they were better.
It's going to shock you to hear this.
Arkansas.
I really, really love it when Arkansas is good because we all eat.
Because Arkansas fan, it's the whole Nebraska-Okloma type of deal where,
that's the pro team and the states.
And they have been 18 to be good for so long.
And remember when the SEC West was basically just destroying them up and down, that
2011 year, we all remember it.
It was all a lot of fun.
But I can also understand why that would piss some people off.
But I think the sport's better when we have these teams that traditionally through the middle,
right, of the power four that we know by name and we are always looking at them.
Like when Ryan Silverfield's team takes the field, I'm going to be interested.
They can hold their own against Utah.
I'm probably going to crow about it.
But I like the sport better when Arkansas is good.
And seeing them be bad.
Do I remember correctly, RJ?
You're from Oklahoma, right?
Do I remember that correctly?
You remember correctly.
All right.
So I agree with you, by the way.
Arkansas might be the most passionate fan base of a bad team.
Like, I don't know who is more passionate
and really has gotten their teeth kicked in consistently for so long
And Arkansas, and I think the sport would be better, and I think the Nebraska comp is a good one,
the sport would be better if Nebraska and Arkansas were good.
At least Arkansas has stayed in the SEC, right?
And they very much love being SEC members.
One of the things that I enjoy about this conference in particular is that everybody gets something out of saying we're SEC.
In a way that I don't think other conferences do, even the Big Ten.
Nebraska has been out of sorts and basically out of mind since they left the Big 12 to go to the Big Ten because it's still not a natural fit.
Like even Big Ten fans who want to welcome Nebraska in don't always know what to do with them.
So I kind of think they're already fighting against this.
Whereas Arkansas, they just keep pounding wood, man, or chopping wood.
They're there.
They're trying something different.
I thought Sam Pittman was a good hire.
They're there.
I enjoyed them.
If you ask me my least favorite fan base and my most hated team in the country, it's Arkansas.
Over Texas?
Yes, because I can at least respect Texas.
I've told you that before.
I can respect Texas.
You cannot respect Texas.
What are you talking about?
No, I do.
There's nothing respectable.
They're a rich spoiled kid and thinks they deserve everything.
I grew up watching Texas be very good.
I mean, RJ, one of my first memories of crying my eyes out over football is Ricky Williams,
just running all over A&M.
I remember when A&M was always losing to Texas.
I have friends who go to Texas that I respect.
Arkansas is the worst.
I don't want them to be good.
I want them to lose every single game for the rest of time.
That's a shocking answer to me, RJ.
Is it Southwest Conference-type stuff?
Does it go all the way back for you?
Well, my dad hates Arkansas, so there's probably something there,
but I just don't respect them at all.
Like, as a fan base, I just do not.
You know, RJ's from Oklahoma.
We're both from Texas.
The thing is, I grew up, I'm older than you guys, Arkansas mattered.
And if you said who were Texas's biggest rivals, it was easily Oklahoma and A&M and Arkansas, without a doubt.
And the Arkansas game, I mean, it was big.
It was, and I don't like that it's not.
I mean, they still give Texas trouble.
So, I mean, I'm not going to act like, you know, we roll over Arkansas every time.
They gave A&M a lot.
Fayetteville is beautiful.
I like being there.
I like Sam Pittman.
I like, yeah, Fayetteville is awesome.
The game day atmosphere is awesome.
the fan base I cannot stand.
In fact, RJ, if you ask me the question of who I think should never be good again,
I would have given the opposite.
I would have said Arkansas.
The fact that you said they're the number one, I would have said they never deserve to be good again.
But that's a fascinating answer.
Because I do feel like everybody has that in their head.
Nebraska's one for me.
Like Nebraska should be good.
Like Nebraska being good in the 90s, I want to see that again because they are really fun when they're good.
I enjoy that rivalry with Oklahoma.
But to your Arkansas hate, I'm feeling.
this. I am. I really am. And I really enjoy that I have longhorns on one side and Aggies on the
other because I love to watch y'all fight. Like that's one of my favorite things in the entire world.
I can't wait for that game. That one's sadder. It's so one-sided. That one's like that one's like,
it's kicking the little red-headed stepbrother all the time. I will tell you RJ, when I walked into
the studio today and I saw him wearing this shirt, I was like, God, I wish I would have known we were
going to be obnoxious today. I would have probably tried to at least counter. You're talking college football
today.
I didn't know that.
I would have worn maroon.
That color is so ugly.
In fact, let's look at RJ's rankings.
Let's pick them up where they matter at number eight.
He's got LSU at eight.
He's got Miami at seven.
He's got Notre Dame at six.
He's got the Texas Longhorns at five.
A little low for my taste.
Oregon at four.
Now Georgia coming in at three.
I like Texas better than Georgia this year.
Ohio State 2, and he has the Indiana Hoosiers at 1.
So you're a believer in Josh Hoover.
I'm a believer in Kurt Signetti.
I'm a believer in Kurtzignetti.
You doubt that, man, at your own peril now.
Like, put another way.
I ranked Indiana 99th in 2024, and all those dudes did was flip me the middle finger and go 11 and 2.
All right?
And they lost to the two teams that played the national championship game.
And then nobody seemed to learn the lesson because they had 100 to one odds to win the national championship last year.
And they ran the table.
And they'd be on the Big Ten championship.
And they got the number one pick.
Where did you have them last year, RJ?
Where'd you have them going into last year?
I think there were like 11, 11, 12, somewhere in.
Yeah.
Because they were a playoff team and then they had Mendoza coming in.
So it makes sense.
Who, by the way, I didn't expect to be as good as Curtis Rourke.
You know, like that's the other thing about this team.
I agree.
Mendoza lost a four.
Florida State when he was at Cal. I mean, how hard is that to do?
Not good.
That's to come back. No, RJ, I know we say this a lot in the college football world,
but people that don't really understand it the way we do. It's like, it is not a nuance or
hyperbole to say they were the worst power four team in college football history before they
won. Like, Indiana was the last place team. So to be able to turn it around that way is
crazy. And I don't think it matters necessarily, unless you have a really
bad quarterback, I think it's way more about as long as Kurt Cignetti's there, you can put
it at one or two and easily make that out of bed. And I don't think Hoover's a bad quarterback.
No, absolutely not. I think Hoover's good. I did enjoy the funny back to say about him.
He was going, hey, we didn't lose much. And I said, why didn't you think you lose much? Well,
he actually turned the ball over more than he scored TDs. And I'm going, oh, okay, so now what we
got? And I asked Kurt about this. Kurt says, well, I'm going to give Josh two of his best friends.
I'm going to give him a defense, and I'm going to give him a run game. And watch these turnovers
go down.
I'm with it.
I can get behind our coaches because I think you guys might agree with me on this.
No sport is more dependent on a coach's attitude and his personality more than college football.
We take it on, right?
Urban could not lose at Ohio State, so they didn't lose.
It was not about winning.
It was like we just can't lose.
I'm always looking at that.
So when you have a guy like Signetti who can come through and say, I win.
and then that translates to your football team,
that becomes the habit.
The habit is winning,
and you become a winner out of that.
I enjoy that aspect of the sport.
It makes it a little less volatile
and a very volatile time for me.
So I'm always going to look at that first,
and then we're going to do the rankings.
Okay, who else fits that mold besides Signetti?
Like, the first name that popped into my head
who kind of has that attitude,
but he hasn't won at all, is Dan Lannning at Oregon.
That's why I love Oregon.
I would have gone there.
who else do you think has
I like what you said so the coach becomes
the through line in a volatile sport
he is the rudder that keeps the ship
going whichever direction he can sail it
who else is like signetti
Joey McGuire
Texas Tech
I mean I can't stand up good things
about him especially coming out of high school
in the way that he did
Hall of Fame coach as a high school coach
learn what he was doing at the college level
working for Matt Rule at Baylor
enjoyed him there
his get down is very, very loud.
It is we're good.
We're going to be good for a long time.
We don't care that you don't like us.
We're going to keep coming after you.
Now, I think it gets a little bit weird because, well, there's a lot of Texas tech that's going on outside of the football field that we talk about.
And we have to, right?
But if you're looking for a guy who can layer over his personality and they start winning, it's tech.
This is a program that was cool.
Like we watched it.
It was a fun college football program.
Now, they just won the Big 12 championship.
They can repeat with a Will Hammond that I think is just nails.
I can't say enough good things about that kid.
And he's got dudes around them.
They're going to be so good.
But they also expect to be, because Joey expects to be.
And he's expected to be since he got to Texas Tech.
That's the top of my list.
Now, we can keep going down that line.
But yeah, those two guys, I think, are two peas in a pod.
And that's why Texas Tech at 14.
Texas didn't want any of that smoke.
you know she had to run away from the fight I mean he is kind of right no he's not right I just like
him using didn't want that smoke in all seriousness no like I'm supposed to take him seriously saying
they didn't want that smoke why would Texas schedule Texas no I in this day and age why
why schedule non-conference games that are hard because I mean we're seeing that RJ I have a
question along with the along with the coaching thing because you do I agree with will Dan landing I have
Oregon at number one because Dante more coming back we know how good he would have been going into the
NFL. But when you talk about coaches that take on the personalities in fires first.
Lane at LSU is so interesting to me. Because I made the argument Lane shouldn't have left
Ole Miss because he had Ole Miss where they were. You can obviously win at Not a Blue Blood.
We saw it happen in Indiana. Lane's always in drama. Lane cannot get out of his own way
half the time. Do you think that LSU is finally the place where he can make, okay, he is a very
good coach? He has all the talent in the world. Is LSU finally his landing spot where he can get over
that hump? Perhaps.
For me, it's not whether or not they're going to be fun to watch.
How quickly is this going to go up and smoke?
Because that is what has happened everywhere Lane has gone.
He leaves the place on fire.
And LSU is not afraid to light things on fire.
So you put two volatile things together.
It's going to be a lot of fun.
Can they get over the hump, meaning can they win the national championship?
Well, the way I look at it, man, Nick Sabin put everybody on the program, right?
And then Les Miles and Orgeron?
Yeah, those guys ain't Nick Saving.
Yeah, Lane Kiffin could win a national championship at LSU,
but I do think the clock is ticking on it
because he's going to do something, say something,
get them into some sort of situation or trouble
or even find some greener pasture to go to.
That's just going to make people mad and upset.
So already I'm looking at him going,
you've got to make the college football playoff this year
because I don't know how long this is going to be able to keep together.
You're paying him the same year.
You're paying Kirby Smart and Kurt Signetti
for a dude that has not won a college football playoff game.
Matter of fact, it's weird to me to know what Pete Golding's going to do in the postseason
and not what he's going to do in the regular season.
And I know exactly what Lane Kiffin can do in the regular season,
and I have no idea if he's going to be good in a postseason tournament like this.
So I'm excited for it, but can they win it?
Yes, they can because anybody seems to be able to save Brian Kelly.
But do I expect him to be there for 10 years?
Absolutely not.
No.
He's running after, though.
Let's stay on LSU.
Let's stay on LSU real quick.
You brought up the Volzzi.
What do we all think about the NFL players coming back?
I hate it.
LSU just got DeQuan Wright, the Ole Miss tied end,
who went through the Browns and Eagles training camp,
and now he's headed back to college.
Somebody else, oh, defensive tackle, right, to LSU, another one.
So these guys are getting drafted or they're undrafted.
And it's not working out from the pros.
They're like, I'm going to go back to college.
No, I'll let RJ speak on this because he probably knows even more than me.
but I do believe that it's a cop-out
because you declare for the draft,
you go to the NFL, because you believe you are ready
for that next level, it's time to go to the next level,
and then it doesn't work out for you,
and you just get to go back older,
wiser, whatever it may be in a college.
I think that's the, you're missing the whole point
of declaring for the draft.
You should have to declare for
and not be able to come back.
It's more cynical than that for me,
especially when I talk to players, parents,
agents, so forth.
It used to be, if I watched a seventh,
Let's say he's 12 years old.
He is 12 years away from collecting a check playing football.
Now that number's cut in half, right?
He can be 17 and collecting a check playing football.
Now we're seeing what the Gulf is, like I ranked 138 teams,
105 players on each of those rosters, 14,000 players,
give or take, right?
There aren't that many in the NFL.
It's really difficult to make a 53-man roster.
So it's not just that you can't make it,
it's that I want to get paid to play.
I stand it by an opportunity to get paid
to play and play another year in the NFL, right, Dante Moore coming back, can also take
care of, take the fifth year, but also a guy like Dayquan Wright's looking at everybody
else going, I don't think that I'm going to make this team.
And I could play on a team that could play for a national championship this year.
I'm going to do that.
Now, the problem that I have with all of this is that we have replaced a commissioner type, right,
or wanting to just build an apparatus that works with a local judge telling us who
who gets to play college football and who does not.
That bothers me.
This is all because of a Louisiana judge saying,
you know what?
I agree with Charlotte Tweeney, a judge in Colorado.
We're gonna do it this way.
And we're gonna hold this up in court
while we play football because,
Will, I don't mean, correct me if I'm wrong here
because I'm about to start talking about the law.
The courts move slower than football does.
So it's all moot.
So because it's all moot, yes,
let's tie this up in court so I can go play.
And then we're gonna keep doing.
doing this in perpetuity because everybody wants an advantage and it has never been harder
to win a college football game than it is right now.
I don't like it, but I see why players want to do it.
I see why coaches are going to take them up on it.
And there is a cost for standing your principals.
You know, like usually you're standing on your principles.
You're going to either lose or you're not making any money.
So how much is this worth to you is the question I would ask?
Let's take a quick break.
But continue this with Fox Sports.com's RJ Young and barstools Casey Smith.
I wonder what kind of advice that Wright got in the first place, right, or Harris got in the first place.
I don't think he might.
Dabo told me that if you're not drafted in the first three and a half rounds, you make more money staying in college.
So if you're a fourth, fifth, sixth rounder, you are better off staying in college financially.
So I don't know what kind of advice he got.
But, you know, I said this.
It was very unpopular.
This is probably 2019, 2020, when we first started going down the road of we're going to start revenue sharing with the players.
Everybody's like, this is great, you know, for a variety of reasons.
And this is a very conservative thing to say, but fine, but we don't know the unintended consequences.
We don't know what happens to this sport going forward.
And I think that's where we all sit today.
I have no idea.
You have no idea.
I don't think anybody knows.
Is the SEC going to break away and do its own thing and set its own rules?
Do local judges handle it and Lubbock and Baton Rouge?
I don't know, but all I know is college football is changing drastically.
It doesn't appear to be for the better of the sport, maybe for the players, maybe for individuals,
but for the sports long-term health.
And no one knows where this ends up.
It's headed into the Great Unknown.
Well, and RJ, I mean, I know that when you cover college football the way that you do,
whether it's 2026, 2019, like Will said, or 2010, it's the NCAA has no governing power.
They have nobody in charge that can actually say,
This judge in Lubbock can't say that Brendan Swordsby can play at Texas Tech.
They have nobody that can actually step in.
And until that happens, which I don't know how it even happens, it's going to continue to get worse.
Because everybody's just making their own rules at this point.
And there's real quick before.
There's too many stakeholders with competing interests.
And so everybody hopes that Congress can be the one.
Congress can't.
There's too many competing stakeholders within Congress.
No congressman in Louisiana is going to do anything to stop LSU from being better at football.
Right.
And if that competes with, say he's a Republican, that competes with another Republican in, I don't know, pick a random state that doesn't have a team like LSU, right?
Then they have a revenue problem.
You know what I'm saying?
The big school, big state, big representatives in Congress, they want to keep it the way it's headed because they want to win.
There's no coalition, is my point.
And there's nobody in charge.
And it's always been that way, but now it's just worse and more out in the open.
I would say because there's more money in the middle of the table, you have more stakeholders.
at the table. That's one. That's what NIL introduced. Two is I tell people, and I mean this,
I love the chaos of the sport because I'm good in it, because I'm in it, right? And if you're in it,
you feel comfortable, right? You don't know what it's going to be in three weeks, but you're
comfortable that you're going to be able to find your way through it in three weeks because you
follow it so closely, you report on it every day. That's okay. I also take the effect. I'm going to
pick on your guy, Lannning here, and my guy, Marcus Freeman, right? Because those guys are
basically my age. Kenny Dillingham is another one that I'll pick on. And we got here and we said,
hey, I'm not going to quit my job because they changed the rules and it's a little bit more
difficult for me to coach ball or for me to cover ball. No, no, no, no. I work my behind off to get here.
I'm going to stay here no matter what it looks like. Now, to the NCAA, I'm less enthusiastic about
picking on them because I view the NCAA as a maid service for a huge hotel. Do you want to make the
beds? You know, do you want to clean the rooms? Do you want to take out the room service? No.
Okay, cool, that's what the made services for.
Now, when you start wanting to late checkout,
when we got hard and fast rules about when you can check out,
that's when everybody starts to pick a fight,
because they want you to enforce the rules on everyone except them.
You know, like that's the part of this thing I really can't get behind.
But to your point, the NCAA's got three people in its enforcement arm.
It doesn't have any subpoena power.
Nobody really has to listen to them,
which is why you have the conference looking at self-governance.
So I take these things seriously,
but I also am looking at it going,
it's going to be this chaotic for this foreseeable future.
And as a player, I'm telling you, get comfortable being uncomfortable.
That's what it is.
We're all going to be uncomfortable in this spot if we love ball and we love ball.
I can't believe how far we've come on this, by the way.
Because, like, NIL initially was, well, like, there was the UCF kicker, you know, who had a YouTube channel.
And people were like, oh, he has to either quit or he has to quit his YouTube channel.
and it's like, well, NIL, the idea behind it was that he can use his name, image, and likeness and still make money on the side and support himself.
And people have turned it into this abomination.
Like, it's just an insane, it's insane where we've come through this process.
It was always going to be.
That was another thing I, not that I saw it.
Name image and likeness is amorphous.
It could never be defined.
You can bring in McKinsey all you want.
You cannot define whether or not.
somebody is using their name to get paid in a way properly and somebody else is doing it improperly.
No, but I do, for me, I was always in favor of it because, like, you look back at some of the
scandals, like the tattoo scandal at Ohio State.
You go down at what I dealt with when I was in college station with Johnny Mansell signing
autographs.
It's like those players should be allowed to use their name, image, and likeness.
The issue is not the players getting to make money off of it.
It's that there are zero rules.
Nobody can stop it.
The only rules they have are you can't be what with gambling.
We saw Brin Sorsby. That didn't matter because a local judge said it didn't matter. There's alcohol rules, whatever, but nobody can step in and say, we have to put the toothpaste back in the tube. It's already out. But I'd rather that than getting in trouble for signing an autograph.
I think that I would look at this and say, where are the adults and will the adults please stand up and say we're going to do something about this? Now, that also comes back to I want to win football games. And again, conference governance, I think it can work because at the high level,
at the very high level, television networks and conferences are in alignment in what they're
going to do.
And if the money turns off, a lot of people start changing up on how they act and what their
attitudes are going to be around these things.
If it doesn't feel like you're going to be financially put into a bind by this, you're
incentivized to go and do whatever you can do, right?
Like we decided, like I was really fascinated by the Brendan Sorsby conversation only because
college football fans got a hard time agreeing on a lot, right?
We think beer is good.
We like Saturday night games.
We could take or leave, right, having ball played on Thursday, Friday.
We all agreed that a player betting on sports, specifically his team, is wrong and we can't
have it.
So no matter what this judge thought, we were all in agreement about what needs to happen
next.
Texas Tech is going, well, we want to go win football games, so we're going to stand behind our guy.
And only the Big 12 was ready to make them pay basically what was a financial penalty of not
being able to play in the Big 12 championship game if they played him, in which case, then they
would have probably had to back down. If you can come up with more of those, I think we can get
the sport back under control because then there are real levers you can pull for punishment.
You know, like spank when I was a kid. Guess what I don't do anymore, what I was getting spanked
for. We don't have any mechanism in place for that, and college football coaches are doing what they do,
which is impressing the advantage. What happens? How do you get a national championship?
if you've got an SEC that says you've got a $40 million salary cap with a luxury tax and you've got an ACC that says, no, we can't afford that.
We're not doing that.
Does anybody ever consider it?
I mean, it's not fair now.
So I'm not compared, I can't compare it to now.
But like, is there ever an equal playing field where you're truly like, yeah, that's the national champion?
Will they even play each other?
But it's never been fair.
We know that.
We know that at Auburn, Cam Newton was getting more money than he would have gotten somewhere else.
It's just now it's out on the table so we can pick and.
choose who we want to look at. The Texas tech situation was always weird because even Texas tech
fans were like, why are we doing it with this guy? Why are we fighting for this guy right now with
this? Gambling is that line you don't cross. Everything else has always been happening. We just know
it's happening now. Yeah. I don't believe in fairness in college football. I've never believed in
fairness in college football. There's no such thing. We don't have a collective bargaining agreement.
We don't have a salary cap. And generally speaking, whether it's been name image or likeness or not,
the more money teams generally win the most games and they generally play for championships.
And one of the things that I would really like the public to agree on, we like seeing the brands play.
Everybody was upset, not that James Madison and Tulane made the playoff, but that Notre Dame did not, right?
Because that's what you want to see.
And as long as you're going to have halves and have even more, okay, have even mores, go play each other.
So I think the way you can fix this is your interconference scheduling gets better.
and stronger, or, you know, you do what Indiana's doing, which is, you know, we're not going to
play anybody in the non-conference, and we're just going to claim that the Big Ten is the best
conference in all of football and go from there.
I think if they can come together and create a schedule with these 65, I believe it is, 65 power
14, including Notre Dame, we got something that could really be cool here.
But, again, that means a lot of adults have to step up to the table, and some people are going
to have to be unhappy in the compromise.
You brought up Marcus Freeman a minute ago.
I don't know where you have them, Casey, but Notre Dame at 6, RJ, is a little lower than what I'm seeing a lot of people.
I see a lot of people putting Notre Dame in the national championship game.
I haven't met five, but I just, I mean, RJ obviously does a lot more research than me with this.
But, I mean, you look at what they're bringing back, and I do believe in Marcus Freeman.
I like Marcus Freeman.
What they lost is a lot.
And I just don't know, I don't know why we're jumping from them missing the,
playoff last year, losing to Miami and A&M the way they did, and then all of a sudden,
they're winning the national title. You can make the argument sure they can be in the
playoff. I have my playoff prediction. I have them at the five spot, which they're going to get
to, you know, cheat and play number 12, whatever. But I don't see how people are saying they're
winning the national title yet. I got a couple things on this. I got a couple things on this.
First, y'all are college football fans, your ball-knowers, right? You know your team.
And you know, like, you know, like, you know, Casey, what did A&M do against Notre Dame last year?
Start there. Then go to, what did Notre Dame do against Miami?
last year.
Okay.
Miami's on the schedule this year and it's in November,
meaning that the rest of college football will probably not forget that they lost a football game, right?
In November.
The other part is, did anybody forget that both Judarian Price and Jeremiah Love aren't playing
on that team this year?
Yeah.
Right.
That's what I don't understand.
Jeremiah Love was the reason they were even as good as they were last year.
They lost a couple of tailbacks that accounted for 29 rushing touchdowns and 2,000 yards on the ground.
And it is a team that has always played ball control.
Chris Ashes' defense gave up, think it was 17.6 points per game last year,
because they could run the damn ball, right?
I know that you got Ennis Williams back there, and I think he can be great,
but I need to see it first.
I'm not going to put you in the national championship game
with an unknown at tailback on a team where I know running the football is paramount.
And then, this is me just digging at Notre Dame fans.
Yeah, you can play in the national championship game, but she ain't going to win it.
Hey, that's me.
Did you in 2012? Did you in 2024?
What are we actually talking about here?
It's such a week schedule too.
Offensibly easy.
Their schedule is so offensively easy, RJ.
That's the only, like, I wanted to leave them out of my playoff prediction.
I wanted to so bad.
I hate Notre Dame.
Sorry, Dan.
I hate everything about it.
You've filled with a lot of hate.
Yeah.
College football's coming, baby.
College football's coming.
But that's a Notre Dame fan.
I'm realistic and don't think that either.
Just putting that out there.
Their schedule is so easy.
I mean, have you seen, have you ever like,
actually looked at how easy their schedule is.
They play Miami.
Spiral notebook here.
It's not a spy.
That's the first game that's even remotely hard for them.
It's like Rice.
RJ, right?
I think, BYU can do something.
I think you can do something.
That's as far as I'm going to take it though.
Right?
They can do something.
Will they walk into the playoffs?
That is so easy.
But I think they'll get to the playoffs,
but then they'll just get destroyed by an actually good team.
It's super unhealthy to enter a season with what I'm about to say.
Oh, no.
You'll do what you're going to do.
Go ahead.
I know.
I said this this morning.
I just started like sinister music.
I have three favorite championships in my lifetime, and I've got quite a few championships
in my lifetime.
The 2011 Mavericks, because they exceeded expectations, and I couldn't believe it.
I can't believe it.
We're here.
The 2023 Texas Rangers, same thing, exceeding expectations.
2005 Longhorn, just because Vince was incredible.
Vince has got a new documentary coming out.
I'll probably cry watching that, too.
But I'm not in that bucket this year, RJ.
I'm in the, if we don't win the national championship, it's a disappointment.
I don't disagree with that for Texas fans.
Yes.
No, that's not delusional.
It's not delusional.
It's loaded up across the board.
They're not going to win.
They may not win.
They're not going to win.
That's fine.
But I'm telling you.
You have to go into this season with that thought process with what you have.
Absolutely.
You have to.
Absolutely.
There's not a better roster in college football.
Arch is the one.
RJ.
No, that, that, that, that, I,
I'd argue. I'd argue that.
I'd argue there are two rosters specifically that are better than Texas's roster, but only two.
Lay it on me.
Oregon.
Oregon. Let me hear.
Oregon.
Oregon top to bottom.
Nobody wants any smoke with that defensive line, right?
And Ohio State, man.
Come on.
If you win that game, yeah, I'm going to be on that train with you.
You win that game against Ohio State on the 40 acres.
if Arch looks like the kind of guy that I think he can be.
I'm so high on Arch, it's nausea.
Me too.
Yeah, you're a longhorn.
I got to look at him.
You don't count.
RJ, we were all ready to bench him halfway into the season last year.
But were you as high on him going into last year as you are right now as a longhorn fan?
RJ, I'd ask you the same question.
Yes, I was.
It is a groundhog day feeling.
No, no, it's based upon, it's not based on.
it's not based upon anything.
I promise you this.
It's not based upon anything
and then the quarterback
that he was the entirety
of the second half of the season.
And that quarterback,
honestly,
Julian Sayan's not in that league.
And I don't think,
I don't think Dante Moore
is that level.
Oh, well.
I don't do this too.
What I saw from March
in the second half of the season
is the number one pick
in the NFL draft next year.
Well, I mean,
you felt this way going in the last season too.
That's the only,
that's what I would,
do, right?
I take that back.
If I need a quarterback, I'm taking Arch.
If I don't need a quarterback, I'm taking Jeremiah Smith.
That's the best player in college football, period.
The thing about Arch, you see him, he's 6'4, so he's got size, he's got speed, he's got an accurate
arm cannon, but the thing that he didn't have last year, and I tried to tell Texas fans
this, and they were not wanting to hear it because you're watching the ball and you're
not watching the offensive line, the defensive line.
They couldn't run the ball.
they had nobody that could run the damn ball.
Now you got relief around in Hollywood's mother back here.
John Mateer, let me tell you about it.
But that's the thing.
Steve Sarkeesian, I think this is first year at Texas
where he did not have a thousand-yard tailback.
And it hurt his feeling so much.
He put Quintradian Wisner of the transfer portal.
Get out of here.
CJ Baxter, get out of here.
I need somebody else who can help my man back here.
Because in the second half of the season,
and what happened with Arch is not that he necessarily became that much better of a player,
it's that he looked around and said, okay, I got to do it myself.
And I think he was coached into, no, you don't.
Like that's why you play quarterback at Texas.
You don't have to do it by yourself.
In fact, we've got dudes to help you.
So one, give him a run game.
Two, Will Mushchamp is going to light a fire under somebody.
I mean, we all know this as people who watch the SEC.
He's going to get after that defense and they're going to be nasty.
Rahim Biles is nasty.
Colin Simmons, we know about.
Jelani McDonald we know about.
Grayson Littleton we know about.
I'm high on arch because he now knows
if I need to, I can take over the game.
I hope, and I think they've gave him
a couple running backs that are going to be
just going to work for him.
We all know about Cam Coleman
and I got Hugh Fries, man.
Misdemeanor, 700 yards out of that guy?
I got to charge you with something.
Ryan Wingo.
I can keep going over here.
I think the dude's got to have a great year
because the team's going to be better around him.
So those two running backs, to your point, or three, smothers, was it Relic Brown?
Last name is Brown, right?
And the freshman from Florida.
Derek, what's his name?
Cooper.
I'm going to pull out my spiral notebook for you?
Derek Cooper, yes.
But to your point, that's all projection, those three guys.
I don't know.
We'll see.
Reports are good out of...
Well, they were good last year, too.
I do agree with RJ.
and it goes back to scheduling with non-conference because, I mean, I applaud teams like Texas, Ohio State, Clemson, LSU, you know, A&M, I'm going to put A&M, Arizona State in there just trying myself.
Really? He did that on that saying, yeah.
Yeah, I'm going to put them in there. Yeah, we could be playing like, you know, the school of the deaf and the blind, we're at least playing a power four team.
But Texas and Ohio State being early in the season, yes, you can forget whoever loses that game.
But because of how Arch played in the second half of the season, this is the real Texas Ohio State.
Last year, whatever, I don't care.
We will see how good both of these teams are immediately.
And if I was a Texas fan, I would feel the same way you do.
As an Aggie fan, I hope you lose that game,
and I hope you lose every other game.
But if I'm a Texas fan, it would be national title or bust, for sure.
Okay, if I'm asking you, R.J., identify the Indiana of this year.
Coming in from outside your top 10, the 100 to 1 odd.
Who is it?
SC.
Huh.
Yeah.
Lincoln Riley.
I love it.
USC.
Huh.
Mm-hmm.
Look.
Look, it is,
Mikey Lemon.
People forgot this.
The best offense of the Big Ten last year was not Oregon.
Is that SC?
They put up 465 a game with Jade Maya Obet quarterback.
Now, yes, you lose Mackay Lemon and Jacobi Lane,
but Lincoln Riley's never had a problem identifying receivers, right?
Then you get back King Miller and Wayman Jordan,
who are as good a duo as Samad J.P. Ryan and Joe Mixen were at Oklahoma.
And my favorite part, and the reason they're over the top for me,
he's got Gary Patterson calling the defense.
which means I've got a generational offensive play caller,
a college football Hall of Fame and generational defensive play caller at SC
who essentially gets eight games at home.
Now, they also got to play Ohio State, Indiana, and Oregon,
but that means they get to prove it.
So unlike, say, Notre Dame,
if they win two out of those three games,
we're all going to go, I don't know, man,
SC might be up to something.
Now, I know I'm way out in front on this,
but I'm also looking at Lincoln Riley
who puts a lot of stock into who's in charge.
And one of the things he had said was
I feel like I got alignment at this university
for the first time since I've been here
and I found out how important that was at Oklahoma
from the president to the athletic director to myself.
He has that now.
It's all there for them.
So talking about Texas fall into place, yes,
USC is also falling into the place.
I think at a bare minimum,
make the college football playoff,
that's the team that I'm looking at
to do it for the first time.
Can they win the national championship?
Depends on how good that defense can actually be.
How many big 10 teams, though, make the playoff?
I have four.
Indiana, Oregon, Ohio State.
And USC, yeah, I actually have them too.
Because I agree with you because losing Malachi Limon, obviously, is a big hit.
But if you know Lincoln Riley, you know that he's never going to have an issue reloading
offensively, ever.
He's going to need on the defense.
So you have that.
But I do, when you look at the way those schedules, you just mention it, RJ.
The way that they can all get in is they all have one loss to each other.
they play Ohio State at the Coliseum.
It would not shock me at all if they win that game.
The problem with the, and the SEC has it too,
is there's so many teams that can cannibalize each other at the top,
which is where, you know, where do they find their wins?
But if I'm looking at the Big Ten, I do think that USC could make it easily.
There are only two spots.
If they're as good as I think they are.
There are only two spots that are kind of not spoken for in this playoff, right?
Because a lot of this comes back to how do we pick the teams in the format.
So remember, we changed the format this year.
It is no longer the five highest ranked conference champions.
It is one group of five team.
Doesn't matter if they won the conference championship or not.
We're not letting that happen again.
So there's a spot.
The other one is Notre Dame because Notre Dame has a memorandum of understanding
with the college football playoff board of managers that says if they're ranked inside
the top 12, they get an automatic bid.
I hate it.
I hate that so much.
But it's there.
So those are two spots of the 10.
I can easily see five from the SEC and four from the Big Ten or vice versa.
You're going to look at the ACC and hope they get a champion this year, right?
You're going to look at the Big 12, hope they get a champion this year.
But for the most part, right, we're going to be looking at how many teams from one of those two leagues.
And yes, the point will be which one cannibalizes the other.
So for me, it is a Texas.
Don't lose the four in eight Florida this year.
Okay?
Nobody will care that you beat Oklahoma.
Don't go into overtime against Kentucky, Mississippi State.
Nobody will care that you beat Oklahoma or beat A&M.
We're going to hold it against you.
So it is making your clunkers look good.
That's going to be the real task for everybody in Big Ten and the SEC.
And that's what helped Ole Miss.
They didn't have a clunker.
Not a single one.
You know, Alabama had the win against Georgia in Sanford.
Nobody done that since 2019.
And then that loss against Oklahoma didn't hurt them.
Like this is what it is for me.
After that, we can have a great discussion,
but that's why I picked USC is they have an opportunity to play really close games against two of those three that we know are going to be good.
And people look at that and go, no, they play those games really tight.
We like these teams.
We like their rate of perceived exertion, right?
Their strength of schedule.
We like it.
Can you do that across the board?
And that's where I think playing these weaker teams in the non-conference is also going to hurt you,
especially if one of them jumps up and says covers the spread.
We're all going to remember that.
So you can play it with fire either way.
but I'd much rather be playing at the top of my conference with a difficult schedule
than playing a crappier schedule where I might have Northern Illinois show up to beat me at home.
Might still make the college football playoff, but I don't want to risk that.
We got to go in just a second, but who is the biggest disappointment last year?
Clemson.
Who started out a top five, the top seven team, and then just bottom fell out.
I had Clemson winning the national title last year, so that's, oh, yeah, Penn State.
I mean, James Franklin being fired mid-season.
Who's that this year?
Oh, gosh.
Who is that this year?
Man, that's really difficult.
Would you put LSU there?
Because, I mean, I think people assume they're going to make the playoff because of Lane.
Maybe, I don't know how many people have them winning the national title,
but I think that if LSU didn't make the playoff, but that still wouldn't be as,
I mean, Ohio State, and I'm not just saying this to you, Ohio State or Texas is not making
the playoff would be shocking.
Shocking.
Yeah, no, but I'm saying...
Miami, that's a good one.
Miami. Miami.
Mario Crystal Ball getting out of the way was new for me.
You know, you've been blessed with great quarterback played the last couple of years,
and you've been in a weak ACC.
Okay.
You've never won the ACC championship, but it's never mattered.
If I got to pick a team in the top 25 to go, like, I don't know, man.
Because that Notre Dame came, they could get shelled.
I don't think they're going to win that game again,
but we're going to start them out right there.
in that top 10 category because that's what they deserve
and that's what the roster says.
But if you're asking me, that's a team
I'd be shorting.
Miami. All right, he's ranked all 138
teams. It's up at foxports.com.

Yeah, college football, I could keep talking about it.
You could.
Forever and ever.
Yeah.
Now, change that ugly shirt, please.
So ugly.
I like it.
So ugly.
I like it.
No, you don't, Dave.
No, you don't.
I do.
I do.
I weirdly do.
What about it do you like?
My goodness, you're such a shirt.
It's so ugly.
Go back to your padded sale, Pat.
