Starting point is 00:00:00 This episode is brought to you by Animals. How far would you go when someone threatens everyone you love? Who can you trust? From Academy Award winner Ben Affleck, Animals stars Affleck, Kerry Washington, Jillian Anderson, and Steven Yeun. When a Los Angeles mayoral candidate's son is kidnapped, he and his wife are pulled into a web of deception, forced to make choices that could tear their world apart.
Starting point is 00:00:25 Watch Animals only on Netflix on October 9th. Rated R. yeah can i tell you something yeah yeah yeah i went i bought it i bought a shirt today nice yeah not this one but i would be concerned if you bought that yeah i bought i didn't know what get them what's the shirt um well i bought two shirts one's like a button down and one's like a it's like it was like a thrifted it was like or it's like a vintage store not like oh you you bought a shirt irl yeah you went shopping today when this morning like before work yeah i got up and what's wrong with you are you gonna let her fucking talk to me like that i don't know
Starting point is 00:01:15 what i'm supposed to do so you went you know i went have you ever been to sachi i've heard of it yeah i drove by it the other day it's a coffee shop but then they have like a little vintage store in it too oh that's everywhere now every coffee shop every every coffee shop's got a little vintage section now you don't frankly i'm sick of it sure okay so i go there and i bought a shirt two shirts okay were you there for coffee and the shirts caught your eye i actually was there to get something for my girlfriend coffee uh no earrings whoa yeah okay and for her birthday that's today her today's i haven't wished her happy birthday yet happy birthday lauren i realized i can say that because this will come out yeah after her birthday as always played it is brought to you
Starting point is 00:02:05 by bear bells rusty show me your bear bells but anyway i uh bought the shirts and i'm checking out and the girl like one of them she goes like oh i was gonna i was i wanted to buy this shirt i was gonna get it for my brother like i think this is so cool and i was like okay oh no but i it's kind of like a oh so i got a good yeah i got a good one but i the last time i bought a shirt there she said the same shit same thing that must be the different guy interesting and so i'm like is that like part of their training is like every time someone buys someone they create well you were staying right next to it all day but uh yeah isn't that kind of interesting i wonder if that's like their strategy it's got a good strategy but it also here's the thing it's
Starting point is 00:02:53 already on the count they've already sold you yeah but it made me walk out of there like i got i got the best shirt in that whole place i got the one she was gonna and then every time you wear it you're like that barista was gonna wear this shirt that barista like makes you want to go buy more stuff there i think you're like yeah subliminally okay yeah so i think i got i gotta go back i gotta buy a third shirt and see and find out if that's it yeah i uh i think you should buy a third shirt and see if they do that yeah i mean i'm thinking i'll just see if i could buy a third shirt and see if they could do that thoughts emily um maybe if you went back and saw if you could buy like a third shirt then when she says it i have confidence in no i think i
Starting point is 00:03:42 think she's just saying if i went and bought a third shirt oh okay so now i'm back in yeah when you say it it sounds guys i woke up this morning no longer sick you were sick i didn't even know i was gone for like a week and a half you didn't even know you were gone for two days three days i was gone from last wednesday to through sunday i guess but gone is a stretch yeah i was gone for two days you're right yeah you're right okay well i was sick for an entire week i haven't been sick for an entire week since like college what kind of sickness uh rhinovirus oh which is just the common cold wait is that just the wait what i believe it's called i have a nurse friend that told me she said she thinks i have a rhino virus google right it's just the common gold i think
Starting point is 00:04:27 it's just i think yeah i think it's like uh i think it's like it it's his government name it's funny yeah so it was a fucking nightmare and i have i woke up this morning still did i'm still dealing with it a little bit still a little bit stuffy but the the pain is gone and when you're sick and you finally get when was the last time you're sick years ago you don't know what it feels like no i had i had one night i had food poisoning for like one night okay and you know the relief you feel when you're done with that times that by a million because i was dealing with it for a week wow yeah that must be awesome it's awesome man i'm feeling do anything to celebrate um did i do anything to celebrate or am i gonna do anything to celebrate do you dare to
Starting point is 00:05:12 celebrate i tried the new i tried a new restaurant for lunch where loqui loqui it's like fancy chipotle where and jet here i have a beef with with our i don't know i ordered it online somewhere on the internet loqui and uh and so it comes and we have this co-worker named jackson who like his whole thing his whole thing is bang for your buck like that's the that's the number one factor for meals with him is like he wants it to be he gets like a panda express bigger plate yeah and he's like it's healthy because this is my lunch and my dinner i'm getting bang for my buck yeah we're like that's not that shouldn't be the number one and so he came in what do you mean that shouldn't be people shouldn't worry about no that i feel like that shouldn't be that's his number
Starting point is 00:06:03 one priority like it could be slop but if it's three dollars yeah you know what i mean like and he's justifying that's healthy because of that yeah and nate who nate's in very good shape finally was like this isn't this isn't the doing what you think it's doing you're getting fast food chinese every day and just because you split it into two doesn't make it healthy but he came into my office and was like i don't know the bang for your buck's not really there and i just lost it on him and i was like i'm not i'm not fucking worried about the bang for your buck but it don't you realize that's a luxury of making a lot more money than him to be like i'm not worried about the bang no i'm obviously worried about it it's not my number like i was like i just want my lunch
Starting point is 00:06:47 today yeah but i mean they i don't know i feel like you can't be coming at someone for bang for your buck like that's that's someone wants to be doing the more most affordable option totally that's not something i'll ever come but don't come critique my lunch for not being bad oh so he came in and said you shouldn't have gotten my lunch and he goes he goes i don't know i just it doesn't look like you're getting your bang for your buck i was like i don't give a fuck yeah i think he do you think he meant like he doesn't look that good what doesn't look that good for the price he said it looks yummy but he just kept saying it doesn't look like the bang for your buck is there and i was like i wouldn't come that man gets chipotle or panda express
Starting point is 00:07:26 every single day. She got Chipotle today. She got it at 11 a.m. Yeah, I had it at a similar time because I didn't eat breakfast and I wanted to eat before this. Oh. No, I had it at 11.40.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I think that's kind of normal lunchtime. It's a little on the early side. Have you had the wings from Room 40? Emily, have you had the wings from Room 40? I have. I just asked you. Yeah, no, I have. I have not.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Have you ever been there at all? No, I've never even heard of it. Where? Room 40. Room 40 is nuts in your mouth. i can't i'm leaving like are you like do you like imagine what do you do you think that's not funny do you like imagine dragons sure
Starting point is 00:08:13 imagine dragon these knots across you you went too far yeah i knew that was fucking coming so how are you i can i say one thing about please ordering food please i have two go-to's wait am i in the wrong so you've come to the conclusion that i'm in the wrong there i don't think it's coming across the way that you think it is when you're like i'm like i'm not worried about bang for your buck i don't care like i'm not saying because i'm like fucking daddy warbucks i'm just saying like i don't need a huge like i'm it was the right amount of food for 14 sure i would rather have that than too much food because then i either throw it out or i eat too much it's the 40 40 of food in america gets thrown out that's a fact edible food okay so i but you said he's saving
Starting point is 00:09:02 it for later he's not throwing it out he's critiquing me if i got the if i did get banged for my buck then i'd be leaving it on the table i believe it's 40 of food in america like edible food in america gets thrown away something ridiculous 30 to 40 so i agree with you said that like it was like see like i don't understand how that helps you i i got backed into a corner earlier and i just have been fucking lashing out about this it's not that big of a deal are you insecure about what you got no i love you so upset by this i just was excited to try a new place and when he came in it was like it doesn't look like you're getting your bang for your buck i was like but you you must have had a previous conversation about bang for your buck i had just walked into
Starting point is 00:09:42 your office went doesn't look like you're getting your bang for your buck like there has to be more he said he wanted i told him i'm trying this new place and he said when he gets here i'd love to come look at it and so i said you can come look at my lunch now and he walked in so he wasn't critiquing you he was just more saying like i'm not gonna get that he was critiquing me he was saying like it doesn't look like you are getting your bang for your buck yeah this is the correct amount of this is the amount of food i want for lunch yeah i think i'm on his side i think it it must not have been a good bang for your buck it like hit like it like struck a nerve i know because now i feel good i always i will always eat whatever the portion is so if i get well i
Starting point is 00:10:25 eat the whole bowl and then i'm fucking stuffed yeah and now i feel good and i was just excited about it and then he just came in and like ripped my legs out from under i'm sorry i had a smoothie today i slept in atlanta last night i slept in atlanta where'd you get a where'd you get a smoothie there was like a smoothie truck right outside gold's and so it's oh my it's gonna be an issue what'd you get in it no i got the mi favorita uh so it's like peanut butter oh man oatmeal banana i wouldn't have guessed and i think it's decently healthy but there's no like nutrition information but all the things in it and it's like protein powder and dude if you just you just pump some iron you gotta get gotta get fuel back in the tank yeah yeah but
Starting point is 00:11:13 it's that seems like it's like a 12 smoothie is that is that what's like what's like the low what's like the low end of smoothies i feel like like a six dollar smoothie makes sense like i like i would expect it to be like eight dollars eight dollars sounds right to me six to eight dollars sounds right to me drink anything in the drink realm is single digits gotta be yeah wait smoothies are way more than that these days really i mean i don't really 12 seems insane have you been to main squeeze on main street there's always like a line out the ass oh my god it is the worst thing ever it takes 40 minutes to get your smoothie like 40 entire fucking minutes and theirs are like starting at 13 starting they get entry i feel like most smoothies with like protein
Starting point is 00:11:55 are like 12 to 15 a $15 smoothie feels outrageous i mean i i think with tax and tip i'm coming out like i basically got a $15 smoothie are you getting protein powder in it yeah and like sometimes when you add like flax seeds or chia seeds like all that shit like emily do you have to ask yeah i'm gonna show your show your arm yeah i'm getting protein powder in all right wait that's what smoothies i don't i you know i make them at home sometimes but it's genius it's a food truck they just park right outside of gold no rent yeah oh my god genius yeah and i bet oh my god dude did i ever tell you about the smoothie guy at rollins no is he hot no he wasn't hot but he thought we were very sexy oh he okay yeah see
Starting point is 00:12:46 jamba juice makes that that's like basic 779 that feels like the correct price for a smoothie but then there's this place that i one hour of minimum wage work gets you a fucking smoothie that's way too much yeah this is this one place that i've been to you'll be happy to hear the minimum wage here is a lot higher than that but is it nationally it's still fucking yeah 725 um what is it here 20 maine it's 20 now i think which is dope yeah i'm not sure it's somewhere between 15 and 20 here uh there was this greek guy that had a i believe it was called parkav smoothie and it was there like when my dad was there like he had been here for yeah and uh i don't know if he was gay but he was very like it was like a homoerotic experience you want to be
Starting point is 00:13:32 yeah well no he'd we'd come in and we'd order our smoothies and he saw us every day and it was the same reaction he'd be like you guys are a very sexy group of men like like please let me take he would take Polaroids of us. They were like on the wall. And he would ask us about just like, he would ask questions that made me feel wanted, but it was like, why is this guy?
Starting point is 00:13:58 So it was every day there. You're all very sexy gentlemen. How are you doing? Maybe he, like when he got here, like that's how he learned to say like, what a nice group of guys. And no one ever corrected him.
Starting point is 00:14:14 oh like yeah it's like when we were in japan and we were using the i'm sorry that was like i have brought shame great shame to my family yeah he's he's meaning to say like yeah you guys look like a fun time but it's like it's like i want to fuck your ass he's like do you want protein powder bend over for me yes or no so extra dollar him and his brother had a falling out and his brother has a rival smoothie shop across the street really and i was like there can't be enough demand for smoothie in this small town yeah that two competing places can be across the street from each other but they always they were maybe the fact that they're ever present like people see them all the time creates more demand
Starting point is 00:15:05 than most places yeah i mean i i drank smoothies on a daily basis in florida and now that i don't have a smoothie shop i don't drink them anymore did i ever talk about the big george sink debacle in charleston please it's awesome i feel like i might mention this at some point but i'd probably not with emily statistically unlikely yeah so george sink is like the the lawyer on every billboard in charleston okay uh like you know like like he's a go to images his numbers all nines so that's george sink he's on every billboard anywhere in charleston okay and uh blah blah blah his son george sink jr opens up a law firm and they got they he ended up suing his own son because his son was calling himself george sink injury attorneys and was just
Starting point is 00:15:53 basically made a living off of people call trying to call his dad that's all i'm calling him and i always told the story is the kid was allowed to keep it but that right there on the bottom right says george sink jr can't use his own name couldn't he just add jr wow what if he does like not judge ruled he has to differentiate himself i think i disagree with the judge because it's like the dad named him that right yeah but who could have predicted he was gonna open up a the dad who probably paid for his dad yeah put him through college put him through law school and was like surely he won't go by his own name yeah but what if what if he went by like george sink jr i think that even that is not allowed i think he had it has to be
Starting point is 00:16:46 like yeah but that's different differentiating yourself see george and sink wait scroll down what does it say george sink jr he cannot use the last name sink cannot use his family name what i mean if he's stealing business he can't use it on social media he just has to make it like the real lawyer charleston lawyer that seems very strange say it again emily if he's stealing he's not stealing if these people are calling him thinking that it's his father's law firm and he's not redirecting them then i feel like that could be illegal yeah i don't know don't get me wrong the older one i mean he's like i'm george sink
Starting point is 00:17:38 i don't know oh my god i mean that's like if i started danelle and environmental right i don't think my dad could blame me right yeah no you're right because just i mean he shouldn't he shouldn't let you have the same last name yeah yours is the the fact that he named is if you name your kid your fucking name yeah you're begging for stuff like this like if i yeah you're right it would be different because danelle and environmental that's just the last thing you're gonna are you gonna ask about on environmental no great nice smart smart all right emily tell us there are risk solutions for your yeah can you give us a glimpse into your life i want to hear i always i like hearing about
Starting point is 00:18:26 your life like what do you want to know just what's going on honestly not much i have like did i tell you guys that i was i feel like i've been on this pod recently yeah you were but we only talked about like my thing that guy oh no before that i feel like i've sat in like as a producer recently yeah in the last like month or so maybe um well i've taken the month of june which is now carried into july kind of just like deleted my dating apps and focusing on my my health did i was that off of my advice no what was it i think the last time you were up here i said you should delete your apps no she told us she was oh oh maybe i'd already yeah actually no i think it was him can you let me take credit for this sure okay and so you took my advice and you deleted
Starting point is 00:19:16 all your data correct and it's been nice to focus on myself i've come to a lot of like realizations and i'm glad that i'm taking the time i mean don't watch the videos sorry what what ignore him he's trying to make a reels joke could you oh no no no i was trying to make like an inappropriate joke oh oh i've come to a lot like guys getting off porn like i've come to a lot of realizations um sorry i'm sorry that was disgusting sorry go ahead are you are you meeting gentlemen irl in real life um the not i haven't really gotten any numbers or whatever the last thing that happened was what i had told you about that exchange with the man who uh we exchanged instagrams and he never accepted my follow
Starting point is 00:20:10 request nice which gives me the impression that he has is in a relationship i think it should give you the impression that he might not go on instagram which would be a good thing like no but then why would he give me his instagram i check my i check my private instagram follow requests three times a year yeah but you have a separate instagram that you're on every day it's a good point it's a very good point yeah is there a chance he like ranks beers on the internet or probably not but i this has happened to me before where i've exchanged instagrams someone i've met irl and then they like tated took forever to finally accept it and then once this guy accepted it i found out he was engaged oh my god so like there's you're either
Starting point is 00:20:52 hiding someone something maybe he's curating his maybe he's like curating his instagram to look really cool for so that when he does accept you it looks cooler yeah i mean does that really take like you can hide we have to hide all the traces of her right yeah he's probably just breaking up with her and just kind of erasing her from the internet right and then he's gonna he's probably working on getting her account taken down you ever heard that song by lil uzi vert i don't want to snapchat homie i don't want to drive homie i deleted snapchat finally really i hate snapchat i was just like i'm an adult why do i have this i would but i don't want to ruin lauren i streak so what i did do you actually do that yeah nice i what i did is i know oh okay the only reason i
Starting point is 00:21:33 have it is for my memories i have it i removed it so like if i'm like in like a couple like group chats that people will send like funny memories and so i removed it from my home screen but i can still get notifications so if i see one that's like from a person that i know they're gonna send me some heat got it then you can yeah um what are the realizations you came to about yourself emily like there has just been so many things that i've been like pushing off doing in my life and i've kind of used as an excuse to just get those things done because i feel like everybody always says you know if you don't love yourself then you're not gonna like find some or like it's true but i don't think it's possible to love someone else until you love yourself
Starting point is 00:22:16 and i do love myself i just think that there are things that i would like to work on for myself that i would rather do before i get into a serious relationship yes rather than being in a relationship and then maybe they're the one to teach me those things and then i feel like i'm like relying on them for that um one of those you want to become your best self so when you meet prince charming you're ready yeah okay and like one of those things is working out and exercising like i've been in previous relationships where like they've tried to teach me how to do it in their way and like yeah it just feels shitty you know like do you want to be like jacked no i don't want to be jacked i just want to be like in the shape that i
Starting point is 00:22:56 like an ideal shape that i have in mind which is i've just been yes exactly like a triangle and um like yeah and so i would prefer to be at that point before looking for a guy interesting okay and like i've just i've always wanted to be in better shape yeah and i've never actively i just kept pushing it off or i would exercise once a week and like use it as an excuse and i'm like it's just like when there's no time like the present like i'm not getting any younger right you're not getting any younger but like i'm trying to be patient with myself though because like it doesn't that shit doesn't happen overnight and like i'm not gonna have the body that everyone has on instagram but as long as i'm getting active most days of the week and like you know
Starting point is 00:23:50 reaching my activity goal i want you before you even think about getting a boyfriend i want you to be able to put up two plates on the bench okay can you do that that would be awesome if you just got like one day we're like oh my god is Emily like fucking jacked uh yeah I don't want to really be like jacked like big muscles like the size of your head or no you want to be able to crunch your future boyfriend's head like a watermelon between your bicep and your forearm no I want to I want to have like you want to be able to pick him up and spin him on your finger I want I want to have like a skinnier tummy okay not like like just like not this way but like I don't know it's also a lot of health reasons and i've so another thing that i've been doing for myself has been going to
Starting point is 00:24:36 doctors nice to find out how to become like less bloated because okay fun fact about me i've spoke about this on the almost friday podcast but i don't know how to burp like i can't burp god what happens if you drink like a seltzer i don't because it hurts that's another weird fact about me it hurts like alcohol wise like tequila water oh my lord yeah it's gross wait wait if you drink a like a white claw it hurts your mouth it hurts yeah but that has but that's there's nothing there's that's not associated with the burping thing wait i really there's some sort of no there isn't because it hurts your mouth why how does it hurt your mouth oh oh like it stings yes i've explained this so many times and i'm sorry to anyone who's listened to this five times but
Starting point is 00:25:19 it's i've done like research on it and it has to do with your like there's receptors in your tongue and you have too many no no and the receptors they're called trpa1 receptors and those receptors typically associate bubbly fizzy as like fun tingly whereas mine associated with pain yours is like we're under attack yeah like it hurts yeah like i if i had if i could if i tried to like chug a seltzer it would like it would be i couldn't like it won't go down because i has to like sit and fight through the pain first wow that actually sounds i love a polar seltzer more than almost anything in this world i think if it started to hurt i would be i'd be a bad guy that sucks so like no soda no beer no white claw no oh you can't have beer no oh nothing
Starting point is 00:26:10 bubbly at all nothing bubbly at all what about what about champagne no so nothing with bubbles I just avoid it. Yeah. I mean. Champagne, I feel like you could get away with. Champagne's not super bomb. No, like everyone says that, but no matter the amount. What does it feel like?
Starting point is 00:26:25 Like someone cutting your tongue? No, it's like, I don't even know how to explain it. It's just like, it's almost like, you know, when you drink or you chew mid-degum and then you try to drink cold water. Yeah. And it's really painful. That's kind of. Huh.
Starting point is 00:26:40 That's like the closest thing I can describe. Okay. That sounds like torture. But that's completely separate. So you've never burped in your life? like maybe like one tiny one once every couple months you know we try to scare you super i don't think that's how that works that's for hiccups yeah let's get rid of hiccups let's get rid of hiccups and just start burping yeah um but that's fully separate because my i
Starting point is 00:27:03 there's a surgery you can get what scare me tax days tomorrow scare me again he's good russie you know about the surgery yeah how do you know about this someone else someone else you can get a surgery to what to like fix the thing that someone couldn't burp who it's me no one of my other friends couldn't burp and like got the surgery it's a botox procedure in your throat really so i saw a doctor for that throat botox throat maybe have them hit a few other spots while they're at it yeah buddy i'm kidding i'm kidding um no but my sister-in-law gotten any any botox or injections or anything um no no filler no i got botox once in my forehead
Starting point is 00:27:55 and i literally freaked out and i don't like it you can't move your forehead right it's so weird what's the point it doesn't you don't wrinkle or what it firms yeah like what does it do the lines on your forehead it like prevents them from getting worse i like i like when like i think getting older and having like smile lines and like crow's feet and stuff is like cool i i i think that looks nice you're like that's like just i love that you said that like i love i love you for that like you are this is when i say like you guys are like like you are definitely written by a woman i did this i disagree i was written i was written by maybe you were written by someone who was horribly confused what they were you're written oh yeah i was gonna say you were written
Starting point is 00:28:41 by like a transgender i was written by a trans woman yeah oh but but you're still a woman i was written by a trans woman that yeah i think that's it i was like that's like such a beautiful thing to say i'm completely joking i don't think what you don't think i was written by a trick oh i thought you're gonna say you're joking about the wrinkles i'm my own man i picked up a pen like hamilton all right so that's why pam anderson like stopped doing yeah like she's like really just like i love when people can do that there are some i we have some like family friends that are uh they're they've gone they committed to the full gray i think it looks really nice dude people in maine that's like all they do up there they're all it's nice everyone up there is just
Starting point is 00:29:30 like owning it and they're just like earthy and cool oh i thought you were making like a gray new gloucester drip yeah yeah no everyone goes all my all my in maine they all just like go gray and it's awesome you have wrinkles and it's so much more normal nothing like a silver fox am i right ladies yeah i mean good i'm working on it i'm working on i'm starting to go gray a little bit that's okay i know i don't know what it is i'm not stressed i don't i don't know what it is have you asked your dad like my dad no my dad's like still like pretty i mean he's salt and pepper but he's not but when did it start happening probably like 40s oh so he wasn't he didn't have gray hairs at all until he's like how old was he even then oh he's 40s
Starting point is 00:30:11 all right guys this episode is brought to you by bear bells and they have a new flavor camp s'mores i loved s'mores growing up i used to eat s'mores until my little tummy hurt i used to eat s'mores for work just kidding that was never my job why would my job be s'mores i used to just eat them for fun and i'd put chocolate in the middle and two marshmallows on either side yeah you ever see that no i'm serious slice of chocolate in the middle two marshmallows graham cracker that is pretty and still still does not hold a candle to what i'm looking at right here guys we're gonna we're gonna try it for you live here it tastes like a s'more it's so good it's so delicious you know i've been going to the gym too what yeah i've been going to the gym
Starting point is 00:31:09 These things are going to make me look like my workout buddy. I saw him at the next room again today. Me and Arnold are, like, tight. Bearbells makes protein bars with no added sugar that tastes as good as a candy bar. Camp S'mores packs 16 grams of protein per bar. Their bars strike the perfect balance between flavor, texture, and function. They are available exclusively at GNC. If s'mores aren't your thing, they also have flavors like cookies and cream,
Starting point is 00:31:37 chocolate dough cookies and caramel peanut butter and many more get the camp s'mores flavor exclusively at gnc online or in stores and if you'd like to stock up on other bear bells flavors bear bells flavors you can use code playdate for 15 off at bearbells.com guys let me talk to you for a second uh are you someone who loves coffee yes i know i am all right the taste the smell the ritual but sometimes the caffeine just sends me into a anxiety spiral yeah i deal with that i know you deal with it i love coffee shops fun seasonal drinks all that but sometimes you know have a big full cup and my heart's sprinting and my brain's running in five directions at once and one of them is straight to the bathroom come on man uh but seriously that's why i love mud water
Starting point is 00:32:22 guys same morning ritual coffee chai matcha you name it but it's got functional mushrooms and adaptogen but it's got functional mushrooms and adaptogens instead of a full caffeine hit so you got steady energy no spiral all right i've been loving the original brand i call i've been loving their original blend i call it the og blend is my little twist on that uh it's got cacao chai turmeric and functional mushrooms like a spicy hot cacao it's warm grounding and actually satisfying all right for coffee shop lovers who just can't handle the full caffeine load anymore mud water is the version of your morning drink you didn't know existed because loving coffee should not mean negotiating with it every morning guys mud water is a coffee
Starting point is 00:33:04 alternative made with mushrooms and adaptogens about one seventh the caffeine of coffee so you get the focus and energy without the jitters the crash or the anxiety there are actually four flavors we're talking og coffee matcha and turmeric so if you're a coffee person a matcha person a chai person or something in between there's like a turmeric person like a turmeric person there's something for you but the og is where most people start because it's like chocolate and chai had a very healthy baby ready to make the switch to cleaner energy go to mudwater.com slash playdate and grab the starter kit use code playdate and you'll get 43 off the frother alone is worth it that's right up to 43 off with code playdate at mudwtr.com after you
Starting point is 00:33:50 purchased they'll ask how you found them please show your support and let them know we sent you let's get back into the episode i was talking to my girl speaking of the four days it's like talking to my grandparents on i call them on sundays and i was like what uh i was like i never like asked or we were talking about like women or something and she she was like you know i met your grandfather uh your grandfather and i were friends for years before we started dating and i was like i don't know and she was like yeah i was dating his friend so and so for like years and then i would see your grandfather and then she was like i'm like kind of like a little blurry on the details but then we just like got married and i was like that sucks for that guy like your buddy
Starting point is 00:34:32 what are your buddy just swooping in and marrying your girlfriend yeah i mean maybe he wanted him too she could can't rule it out she was like we'd go to the bars and everyone would sing their college songs like can you imagine like us being a vbb and you doing like the boston and then i do the rollins one and then emily does two lane like that would be i don't know what the two i don't know i don't think rollins even has one i've never heard a two lane song um but dude i meant to respond to this person but a playmate uh sent me a picture they were driving they're on vacation they drove past the rollins bookstore and stopped and got some merch that's insane pretty cool i meant to uh respond to this person he sent me a picture
Starting point is 00:35:18 of his raw penis and balls raw like he rubbed it raw you get 15 of those a day i you know what's surprising i've never gotten a cock shot i'm just kidding yeah i haven't either is there like a filter on that gotta be it has to figure out or it has a filter on it like it has like the dog ears and mouth um but it's okay but um what else is going on i uh i am uh um nervous what are you nervous about no i'm actually chilling you straight chilling what are you gonna do for lauren's birthday we're going to a uh a fancy restaurant which i can't tell you that the people show up by the dozens this comes out after well i don't want to say its name until i know if it's good or not no free promo i haven't been i haven't been what kind of cuisine is that french
Starting point is 00:36:19 italian italian yeah buddy does she like italian she loves italian she's um actually been uh to europe okay i'm aware well that's italian for your penis is small jesus fuck you're gonna let you're gonna take that i didn't know you and lauren even talked that much oh my god don't talk about lauren knowing the size of your penis what's that heck women are not supposed to know that what the hell but yeah we're gonna go to dinner and i think it'll be nice you're gonna give it did she ask for those earrings or did you just you saw him and you know i just know she really likes that place i mean i don't even know if she'll like him yet but they've she like they like a little jewelry section that she likes
Starting point is 00:37:06 i knew i wanted to get her something i think she'll like whatever you give her yeah i mean i got other stuff too this was just like i got gave her stuff over the weekend so i figured like for the actual day it would be nice to have something i was like i had like a panic attack i saw like you someone posted like it's laura's birthday and i was like how is this not in my calendar same same that happened to me this weekend i got a bunch of texts after that i almost texted her and then i was like wait no i would fucking i know it's not her birthday well now i got yeah so i'm sorry it's like i just it was because we had like a brunch and got a cake so it was like our birthday party
Starting point is 00:37:43 i just like sometimes think about the fact that you and lauren are dating and it just makes me smile and like when i read comments saying you guys are like jim and pam like that's just like i just like there's just no it just doesn't happen like that if you're jim and pam who the hell am i roy no i never hooked up with lauren you were engaged to her though i was engaged you're kevin kevin chili have you seen kevin chili with the spilling on you think i'm kevin you think i'm like a special needs accountant he's not special needs kevin a major plot point of the show he definitely well he's like a savant like he's like remember like holly there's a whole episode where like yeah trick holly but he like he like is a little
Starting point is 00:38:37 he's definitely something right how is he an accountant 11 mistake plus 11 gets you home by seven but there is like people have written about it like how like in the beginning of the show he's not like he is at the end of them by the end of it he's like yeah bozo stupid kelly also at the beginning is like not that and then one day just like pivots yeah everyone is like michael they made completely different to will ferrell isn't even in it at the beginning i know he was my least favorite in that show i liked it but it was like i hate it i i was definitely i don't know did you watch his new show the hawk no it probably sucks right uh it's it's not it's not my favorite personally um and i was bummed because i love jimmy tatro
Starting point is 00:39:30 i love will ferrell yeah and it just like i didn't i also didn't give it a full chance i watched the first episode but uh i don't know not if not it wasn't it didn't it didn't do it for me personally are you watching anything emily um yeah oh yes well i am watching love island uk because it's so much better than us i i agree um are you watching the seasons yeah i walked out i walked out the other day we don't give anything away because i haven't i'm not my roommate's girlfriend was crying to it i almost cried the other day she was like she was like this is two days in a row i was like i did not realize there was like any depth to this yeah what if you ever want to if you ever want to know what my type is tutti lorenzo i'm obsessed with that man look him
Starting point is 00:40:17 up is he from new jersey no he's british can you i just i'm scared that it's gonna like show results so don't just go to images oh my god don't don't look don't look don't look okay i didn't look we i don't want to i don't want to get rid of this isn't this is not good i'm scared close out but do you see what he looks like yes just close yeah okay wait what it was a massive spoiler right there on the screen don't please don't please don't please don't um that's your type like wait so it already happened he's perfect you're like behind i'm a little behind yeah i think it just finished what dm him i know but i just i can't i don't want to search him on any socials because it's gonna give it away home i think so
Starting point is 00:41:00 are you a big dm-er no but like i'm more of a manifester okay like you like imagine them reaching out to you or something yeah well like i like i had this like he wasn't a celebrity so i don't want to give him that but he was like a social media guy grown when i was growing up okay um like pretty pretty high level smosh um no but i was this was my like celebrity crush like i would like i say and we'll believe it yeah okay yeah it was just something that i believed in my mind was gonna happen okay like i just knew it was gonna happen someday and it and it happened no it did not yeah when when i was in college like freshman year of college did he come to new orleans no no this
Starting point is 00:41:57 all happened can we well i want to cut all this story we're not gonna talk don't talk about it just tell the story no no we can cut we don't have to cut the what i just said anything i said but just like the story specifics i would rather cut can you please keep it in just tell what you want tell only tell stuff you would be fine being in the episode it happened on like a winter break during college um I matched with his friend on a dating app and I knew that it was his friend because I knew like so much about him oh my god and somehow like maneuvered it in a way I just like knew that they were going to be together I knew that I I wasn't confident how I was going to like do this but because I like manifested I was like we're I was like I'm so to Lulu I was
Starting point is 00:42:48 we're meant to be and so when I was in a situation where it was like a it was a group situation I was willing to take like whatever I could get because I was like I need to meet him like I need to and I brought a friend with me and it was a group thing and I just like I introduced myself to the one that I like I mean both of them obviously but like I introduced myself to the i like and like made a couple like attempts to like have a conversation with him even though he wasn't really like having it like he was just it was it was a classic case of like you know you're a douchebag like you know you don't have to speak to anyone in this room but like okay that's annoying like and that be a normal human being yeah anyway long story short
Starting point is 00:43:34 like at one point i saw him like whisper to the guy that i had matched with and then they both look at me and it was basically like i knew it was being whispered and but i didn't want to like jinx it but i knew that what was being whispered was like can i can i talk to this girl i know you invited her here but like can i because there was other girls there yeah that they they had invited so i'm like okay like at least like i don't have to feel bad that the guy that i'd matched with he had invited other girls so like fair game at that point yeah um so yeah just like from there it just like it just happened oh my god that's how was it it was it like it was everything that like he was like his personality was everything that like I had thought it was
Starting point is 00:44:22 and we're very good way yeah we were very like similar and like in being like silly weirdo once he started talking to you then he took down the facade of like being a douchebag yeah 100% and yeah it was it was just it was it was just like I knew it was gonna happen so but yeah I was pretty sick because like then I left um the hotel where we all met up at I left and like there was like a swarm of girls outside of the hotel like waiting for him to come I was like I was like guys he actually just went to bed like Jesus no I'm just kidding I'm just kidding but it was like it just was it didn't even phase me because i had imagined this like so many times like i just knew like i just knew you didn't tell him that did you no i had to like
Starting point is 00:45:12 i barely knew who he was that's all oh my god i was like wait what's your name again now you've been like doing like like uh rituals to like man you're doing a rain dance for him no it was never weird shit like that it was never anything i wrote down it was just something that i genuinely believed in my head because like i just like i don't know i just genuinely believed it manifesting is a very powerful tool maybe this is insane it's just something that i genuinely absolutely insane no i know it was something that i genuinely was like you're talking about this person in like a spiritual way that i've never heard you talk about anything it's not spiritual it's just like that i it's like you know when someone meets someone they're like that's gonna be my future wife
Starting point is 00:45:55 yes and then it does end up happening it's like when you genuinely believe it and like yeah you met him and you were like i don't know what it was about like i've had other celebrity crushes and i'm like there's no way in hell that i would have a chance with them i will say he like it does seem slightly more he seems more accessible than other celebrities at the time he like wasn't like he was big i mean there was girl like a swarm yeah how do they like know where is i'm your biggest fan i follow you until you love me i don't know that's like you i don't have any celebrity crush that i'm like or that i've ever been like i will one day hook up with that person do you have that did you have that well i i mean i i used to always have a crush
Starting point is 00:46:46 on taylor swift but did you really yeah did you really think that shit i would say like if you had an influencer crush that you would think this is the same league as you like then yeah one million percent doable yeah wait what say it again like i wouldn't necessarily call him like a celebrity but at the like i would say you are probably at a level where it's probably way easier for you to like if you had if there was like an influencer yeah like an influencer maybe not like a taylor swift got it definitely not definitely not like an actual celebrity great there are some people that like think genuinely think that they're gonna be with someone and like they're delusional they're actually delusional yeah it sounds like you did that for a little yeah i was
Starting point is 00:47:35 fucking delusional but you were right you were right i think if you tell yourself something enough i think you got lucky i think you were a delusion you were delusional and then well i'll see you to get lucky because you kind of orchestrated orchestrate but i didn't orchestrate much more than meeting up with the original guy yeah yeah like the the way that am i saying orchestrated weird like i wasn't even i hadn't not said more than a couple of sentences to him before he had like went up to the front and said like i'm interested can i like talk to this girl If you could bottle up those sentences and sell them, you'd make a killing. Come on, man.
Starting point is 00:48:15 What were those sentences? Was it, body, yours is great? Your body's tea. Yeah, I just walked up to him and I said, his body's tea. That's a body, yours is great. Here, you want to have something fun? Ah! That was a ghost.
Starting point is 00:48:30 Did you hear that? Yeah, that was scary. What was it? Did something fall? I don't know. I don't see anything. What's funny, Willie? I parked this morning.
Starting point is 00:48:38 i saw a parking spot and the meter is completely like someone like spray painted both sides of it so you can't read anything on either side so even the light that's flashing though the light flashes but like how i couldn't pay it yeah it's good the whole screen is covered like blind you could just yeah but like there's no way so i've just been parking there all day no ticket i've always wondered like because these guys they're like certain like parking superheroes like the meter fairy yeah it goes around just like wrist that's a federal crime to like to put money in people no he has a quarter on a string yeah and he puts it in pulls it up puts it in pulls he loads everyone's thing up and it's like he's the he's he's the only true good person and i've never
Starting point is 00:49:21 seen him in the same room i think that's someone who doesn't not deserve to go to jail for a crime yeah honestly i'm more i'm more like impressed in how he figured out how to punch a hole in a hoarder you get like a drill maybe here's a question for you yes if you could commit one crime okay with impunity and of course impunity is no consequences uh if i could commit one crime with impunity i would say like oh wait this is the easiest tax fraud maybe i'd just not pay taxes this year that would be pretty clutch you wouldn't want to like rob a bank or something yeah i don't know if i don't even know if i should pull off a i mean just because i can do it doesn't mean i can't you have to pull it off i mean yeah i think i don't know if i'd be able to pull off a bank
Starting point is 00:50:17 heist i'd probably do like a ponzi scheme or like a money laundering like front okay do you think you could mobilize enough people to get like a working ponzi scheme it's like a lot of work Maybe not, like, a Ponzi scheme, but, like, a... You just commit fraud. Yeah. Yeah, what do you think is the easiest, like, fraud to do? Fraud or frog, sorry. Like, the gift card scams.
Starting point is 00:50:40 Say it again. Gift card scams. Okay. Like, I've literally been scammed that way before. Oh, you would, like, call people? You guys are scammed? Yeah, like, it's horrible. um but but i i was i spoke about this will because him and i did the exact same thing when we were
Starting point is 00:50:59 younger but we both played like games when we're younger and like we both scammed people in these games and i was like an incredible scammer how did you scam me like i would just like trick them into sending me their coins huh and so like when did you get scammed oh at my first job out of college it was a very small company oh i already know what this is and i got like an email from our ceo asking for me to like do him a favor and then i was like he sent me his number so i like texted him mind you like i didn't have this guy's number and then when i said can i come in there to talk about he was like i'm in a meeting and i popped my head over and like the timing was impeccable like i popped my head over and he was in a meeting so i was like oh okay and then he
Starting point is 00:51:43 asked me to get these gift cards and i like i in my head was like oh like like this was something that that company would do like it was just like barstool no no no it was the company i worked at before that and after like before this was like a known scam oh i think i was like in the first round of offend like offended i'm not even joking like i never heard of this prior how many gift cards you get like three three hundred dollars it was like three two hundred dollar ones you spent and after the third one i realized what was going on in the store and i was like fuck oh my wait and what you were sending pictures of the codes or something yeah but to be honest like i blame my company because there was not enough like processes in place to like avoid things like
Starting point is 00:52:36 that like did they help you recruit the money at all or like half well i would just i figured they'd probably just write you a check for the full amount yeah they were pieces of shit but also like i don't know i guess i guess i'd like to think that i would see that coming but yeah when it's the first time that scam is kind of happening to everybody i mean i've gotten those emails since obviously because it's happened to me before but i still at this company it's like oh everyone has jack's number everyone knows how he speaks like everyone knows what his email has an email go out from jack from like fake jack trying to do that yeah i've gotten those did you do it again no obviously not love of the game what would they what's the crime you would do willie
Starting point is 00:53:18 i would base jump off the eiffel tower have you seen the video the guy tried to it was the first like parachute he tried to invent the parachute he just fell to his death from the eiffel tower really pull this up emily well this video yeah no dude it's like the funniest that happened the parachute is it's i mean it's like it's like the 1800s it's like a video from where from the world from uh early 1900s yeah eiffel tower yeah franz is this your teach me something no i think it has been go to video go to videos i'm sorry there's no videos from the 1900s Yes, there is 1912
Starting point is 00:54:01 We have the video oh, let's watch. Oh, maybe you're right Oh, I'm just like the moment an inventor jumped off the Eiffel Tower Franz Reichelt was a tailor who wanted to create a wearable Parachute for pilots. He became determined to help Early prototypes failed miserably, but right you became convinced of the problem name not in his invention long enough had tested it, he believed he needed to test it from a greater height. On February 4th 1912, Reichelt summoned friends, journalists and cameramen to watch him leap from the Eiffel Tower's first platform. Reichelt wasn't using dummies this time, he had so much faith in his parachute suit
Starting point is 00:54:36 that he was testing it himself. After a 40 second delay peering down below, Reichelt jumped, plummeting down to the frozen grass. He died instantly. But perhaps the most tragic aspect was that an inventor named Gleb Gatelnikov had already invented an APSAC parachute a year earlier. Reichelt's death was all in vain. This is the moment an event...
Starting point is 00:54:57 Can you do a when the first videos started? I actually am. I know I sounded confident. I am shocked that 1912 we had... What? When filming video on... Sorry, I'm like on crack. When filming video was invited.
Starting point is 00:55:12 Video recording was invented in 1956. No film. Let's see. When was film invented? Wait. 1888 no not motion picture well that's i mean that's what we just watched a motion picture okay that's not 1888 that's crazy we've been but that was like just like a bunch of pictures in a row kind of thing i mean i know that's what
Starting point is 00:55:41 videos are but like i still think like what we watched might have been like a recreation or something no what we watched it we just watched it i know could you google if that video is real emily is eiffel tower parachute video real yeah it's real it's fucking i'm confused then when we just we just found out 1888 1888 oh it's an 1888 i've said 1988 but i i was yeah i'm like wondering how i thought that was more like they would like slide in like things and like i think this i think this uh all right video is starting well i think like that was i mean you watched it like like it is that just it just probably just took a billion pictures yeah um it's fucking crazy well so there could
Starting point is 00:56:44 be a video yeah wait google like stuff that happened in 1888 yeah like was lincoln alive in 1888 no not even not even a little um wait when did lincoln die 1850 1860 should i say who was president okay that's not that's like close enough no i was saying not even a little like he got shot in the head oh oh 1865 or something grover cleveland was president now look up when lincoln got shot 65 that's my guess 76 65 wow wow on april fool's day uh no wrong wait emily we like we have already gotten the answer to this question look up the round hay garden what was it i want what was it what was the video yeah let's watch this the round hay garden scene no it's right there we all take film for granted seeing a movie is as evil media wasn't
Starting point is 00:57:52 hit that bone rare passage of venus over the face of the sun just google the round hay garden scene okay let's give it a second one was the guy who filmed the jacket off wow that's good that was just like a looped yeah i mean that probably was so many pictures and they just like that was the amount they could 12 frames per second and runs for 2.11 seconds dude that probably the guy who the first guy to watch that probably like clawed his eyes out he couldn't believe it could not believe it you know what i just started watching is west world what's that about it's a world it's like a simulation world that this one guy creates where it's the wild west and people can pay to go there and like interact with like
Starting point is 00:58:55 these fake people that he's created but they don't know they're fake and they can get killed but the people visiting can't get killed so they just like go and like do wild west shit they'll like hook up with prostitutes and kill each other and do like stuff like that it's very very good well i'm very interested in it there's another show that i've been watching i need to think of the name let me look i'm gonna go pee and then i'm gonna pee as well actually all right fellas summer is here festival season beach trips pool parties weddings this is the time of year where the fit actually matters and when you're not hiding under hoodies and jackets anymore the details stand out a clean chain a clean bracelet or a pendant can take a basic

Starting point is 01:03:04 when you delete the dating apps emily do you do they like kick you off or can you like restart what you were like a riot person right yeah are you allowed to get back on whatever you want i don't know that's the only app i actually didn't delete because i was like scared of what would happen oh we actually match are you still checking it you have a match yeah i matched this one guy i think we're gonna go on a date but it's past june so it's like allowed yeah um he oh my god we aren't even mets fan you're joking shut the fuck up well i don't know i don't think he's like that big of a player but he like please who is it um his name's fucking i think i'm you guys got this i left for too long yeah what we're like one so doing you are who is it all right you're
Starting point is 01:03:59 already busted let me look at his name i know i already know i'm getting pranked but this is a good one you had me for almost a second no that's all right i'm like i was just like go pick a random meth player who that's actually so realistic because i've matched with so many professionals who are you gonna say um i just picked a rando that was single looks single i don't know who's younger um mark vientos no i picked carson benj carson benj yeah that would have been a good one i mean he'd be a little young for you i mean i used to like talk to this guy who ended up on the mets but i don't think he's on the mets anymore you've matched with so many professional athletes how many there's so many on raya i've matched with zero the first guy i ever messaged
Starting point is 01:04:39 with on raya was fuck what's his name on the on the rams matt stafford no the one the young one yes you match with him yeah wait can we not can we bleep his name all right let's hear a pitch hello grantis crampy and splooge my name is dylan obviously and boy do i have a pitch for you what's the worst part about going to any social event oh man um sometimes i feel tired tired and anxious at the beginning or if i know i have plans at four or if i know i have plans at like a certain time the hours like leading up to that i'll convince myself i'm really full and tired that ever happened to you no but maybe okay i would say my the worst part is i don't want to go sometimes yeah wow you guys were way off it's seeing someone you think you know but you can't
Starting point is 01:05:33 really figure out if you do or not introducing shazam for people i call it shaman yep yep yep how it works is you can scan people's faces yes it works with your viral metaglasses willie d and the app tells you their name only if you've interacted with them follow them on socials or in your contacts etc it also shows you how they might be how you might know them one or two interests so you can start a conversation and if it thinks they'd remember you anyways that's my pinch i hope you liked it sending love from columbus ohio oh that's awesome i would love this so so much yeah that's cash uh yeah i just the problem is well i'll say this as guys who do what we do we've curated an audience of guys who look a lot like how my friends look and so i
Starting point is 01:06:25 happen it happens very regularly where a guy comes up and i'm like oh is that a guy i know from college or a guy who's listening to the podcast oh um so i would love if i could shaman i'm that's one of the better pitches i've ever heard yeah i love it uh it's also yeah i mean having someone it's one thing to be like how do i know that guy but when someone comes up to you and you're trying to figure out it figure it out during the conversation and the other thing happens to me is half the time they don't know me they know gavin like i i didn't tell you there was i was in a 20 minute conversation with the guy once the whole time and then at the end he goes by the way what's the pick of the day i was like oh my god that whole time he thought it was
Starting point is 01:07:06 dr walks that happens all with his haircut now he kind of even looks more like you yeah um all right what's the worst part about getting your haircut i need to get my haircut what's the worst part about it you don't you there you risk not liking your haircut you might as well get all of them while you're there you risk you risk not like it's impossible you risk not liking it when you get like the perfect haircut once even if you tell them like put that in your notes i want this exact haircut the next time you do that ever yeah really she has like notes of every haircut i've had this most recent time i tried to get a little cute and i described it incorrectly but i think this came out fine but they can never recreate like the exactly how you like it so we offer a
Starting point is 01:07:51 service on the day where you're like this is the fucking hit this is the haircut i want it's grown out into the perfect length or whatever you come to us we create a mold of it's like a it's like a thing that sits over your head and you if we pulled all your hair out through the things it would only show the hair that would not be part of the haircut so you put it on your your your barber pulls all your hair through the little holes and then just cuts the excess hair and you have forever a mold of the way you want your hair to look have you seen chitty chitty bang bang no is that a thing yeah fuck well no no no no it's not that quite but choo-choo bang bang haircut what do i feel like we watch this on the pod uh go to videos
Starting point is 01:08:35 be straight face excuse me sir you look like a man who could do with a haircut this is my list my word you have a lot of hair would you like an estimate sir Very funny. Come on, get on with it. Can't you just sit tight, sir, while I lower this hair-cutting machine? There we... Ah, you just relax. We'll have you finished in a bit. It's been a real right now in the city here.
Starting point is 01:09:00 Now you look lovely, sir. It's gonna be smashing. You keep your eyes on that, Kasia. Yeah, all right, then. What's going on? Hi, sir. It's all right. So something like this. Nothing to worry about, sir. A little freaky to start. Chitty Bang Bang is a fever dreamer a little bit.
Starting point is 01:09:18 What's the premise of the pitch? Are they going to fly or something? To talk maybe? Skip to the end. I don't know what to say. Alright. What's your pitch, Billy? Um...
Starting point is 01:09:45 Okay, my pitch. you ready for this yeah what's the worst part about a camera it was invented earlier than you thought no okay emily um i catch you doing something embarrassing it dies slash you run out of film no it okay it only shoots one way and i know there are cameras now that shoot front and back this one it shoots up down front back every side all the time no matter what and so there's a complete digital record of everything that's ever happened in the world god and it's stored by the government for safety so that no one has bad access to it and uh it just like allows like if
Starting point is 01:10:32 so they can always just know or you can always know what's happening at all times okay so it's like google maps yeah yeah yep yeah no you know that all right should we do teach me something or no this guy already taught me something today what about cameras yeah okay this is my this guy rocks i don't remember what it is so pause it immediately and i mean immediately no i actually okay so this is an interviewer from what looks like maybe like a high school news station and she's interviewing a karate guy and it just was cracking me up great um sorry just give me one second i'm just saving mine so that i don't lose it could you send me a picture of your ding dong jack
Starting point is 01:11:30 did i tell you i brought the house down the other day would you know the the bullpen has kind of a yeah maybe a slightly more childish sense of humor yeah sure i walked out and i very seriously said um hey uh bastion just by eod could you slack me a picture of edges balls and it brought the fucking house down then i walked out of the office that's awesome did he that was funny he did not all right sorry i'm sending this to it's is it mr beer senor beer senor cerveza all right ready okay this is yeah you get it every time that you had to use karate to defend yourself or another person yes this one time at the supermarket this girl was getting robbed by a big guy and the normal thing to do was to stop him to save her
Starting point is 01:12:26 what was what is this i'm so confused was there ever a time that you had to use karate to defend yourself or another like is he just like is he like i have a disability or no i think he's just like a foreign exchange student and she like thought the fact that he has you can it's hilarious guy swinging a miss from Rusty I feel bad
Starting point is 01:12:56 for the guy oh have you seen this let me see I definitely but I forget yo it's Willie fucking D

Starting point is 01:14:35 can you play just beginning bros admitting to liking biden that's wild play again willie d is a he him it also is hilarious that people will like be like shocked that someone likes a presidential candidate was like 50 there's a 50 50 shot yeah like half of america likes this guy play it again just though yeah i voted for biden yo it's willie fucking d yeah i voted for biden all right wait pause it i didn't even realize yeah you you picked up your phone and said who it is yeah he said i said yeah it's willie fucking d i think that's normal like hey is this willie d oh oh yeah yeah okay that's okay all right should we do all right
Starting point is 01:15:30 here's a teach me something teach me the year is 1982 this woman named ruth becker was a survivor of the titanic she survived the sinking and she said well you're being rude sorry what he's looking for his thing i was pulling up my draft oh sorry i want to make sure you're paying attention sorry you're right i was being rude though sorry oh i don't think that was rude um she was at some like hearing or something about the titanic and was like saying that she saw it broken to break into two pieces and this like so-called expert like took the microphone away from her was like that's not true like she's a liar and then three years later they found that it did break into two pieces she was right wow that cool yeah also like why would she lie about that i don't get a quick buck
Starting point is 01:16:20 get a quick bag all right trying to get bagged she's trying to get yeah she was just trying to get bagged oh my god bag would be fucking crazy to do on the titanic yeah all right hit me all right uh i don't have to teach me something okay i thought we were sorry let's do fuck do you want do you want to do pixar movies that don't exist or reality shows um let's start with pixar movies uh you tee this one up i'll tee up reality show these are pixar movies that don't exist planets when two planets orbits sync up they fall in love with each other but they're ripped apart when there are when their orbits fall out of sync and we follow the journey of one planet like trying to get on a different gravitational pull so we can be back with his love that's
Starting point is 01:17:13 awesome i've also planets one but i'll start with a different one uh burr burr is a polar bear who ends up on the wrong ship and is taken to aruba so burr has to try to survive and get along with the wildlife in aruba without getting caught and sent back because he loves the tropical lifestyle that's awesome does he like cover himself in like mud or something yeah okay i like that bub all right light uh no story time whatever story her dad tells her before bed she lives in her dreams that night that's awesome and so she it like one of the princesses or something in one of the stories gets in trouble so she has to keep getting her dad to tell her the same story so she can go back and fix it that's actually sick thank you uh to pluto and back uh when the the only
Starting point is 01:18:02 remedy to saving the earth is a rare mineral that exists on the planet pluto uh little timmy must take a ship from every planet in order all the way to pluto and experience every different planet and then back to save the earth then along the way encounters creatures creedles crumples crunch and shit lice we follow a family of lice that lives on a boy's scalp while they're trying to fight off the genocide that is his new medicated shampoo. Sheesh. Tricked out.
Starting point is 01:18:40 A washed up surfboard, or sorry, a washed up skateboarder realizes the only way to save his family from humongous medical debt. It's a classic Pixar movie. Is to land the double trinky quinky McTwisty at the world finals. so he gets back into skateboarding and his uh son is now like his coach love it all right should we
Starting point is 01:19:04 do reality shows yes these are reality shows that don't exist too close for comfort it's a dating show where the entire relationship takes place in a four by four foot box okay if you're gonna really love someone you got to be comfortable with them pissing and shitting less than a foot away from you you got to be you know able to uh sleep literally curled up like on top of each other next to the piss and shit every night i love that yeah i love that um oh the x games spelled ex one person is like the the the main person and all of their x's are competing for their love back in different games that's awesome thank you um emily would be good for that because she's got like a million hey what do you have a million x's emily i have
Starting point is 01:19:57 zero you've never had a boyfriend no maybe like once in high school for like two months okay we're gonna work on that we're working we're gonna get you a boyfriend this year after i've worked on myself you want a boyfriend after i get my throat talks do i want a boyfriend throat talk do i want a boyfriend um only if it's like the right person if not then no would you date lebron yeah of course well he's married that was a trick question adulterer if he was not married gold diggers it's a dating show where uh ever it's there's you know half guys have girls they all have to couple up and then halfway through the show half of the guys and half the girls are randomly given a million dollars in cash and so then they have a chance
Starting point is 01:20:44 to recouple if they want they decide and you just kind of see how the money instantly impacts these released that's sick i like that a lot um fall in love again couples are separated and then anonymous anonymously date each other sorry couples are separated and then anonymously date each other and others without knowing who is who so you're like only communicating over text and you can't tell them who you are i feel like you'd find out like immediately right uh they then no they're like not allowed to like say anything that would like tell them whatever yeah like you can't say inside jokes whatever and at the end but when you get to know them for who they are it's like you pick a person yeah they're okay there are a couple plot holes but i'm just a guy
Starting point is 01:21:31 at the end okay you didn't like that the real house cats of beverly hills it's it's house cats of affluent families in beverly hills and we're just kind of watching what the cats are doing and like if there happens to be drama in the background that's like another thing but it's mainly about the they they're not allowed to like pan up or anything you just kind of hear it uh zoo okay a bunch of humans sign up to experience what it's like to be an animal in a zoo yes so they're all put in cages like the animals and animals are paraded by to watch them every day last one standing wins love it all right we love you guys have a great rest of your monday have a great tuesday and we'll see you bright and early on wednesday peace out any um cash or tips
