Starting point is 00:00:00 play date do you want to talk about it or sure um elephant in the room anything come to mind here oh you mean hat wise yeah we could skull and bones what's that all about we could start well i i mean i want to talking about your hat for my hat first yes right um i think it's like it's like made of a material i've never seen before uh wicker is that what it is that's not wicker no i was calling you that oh that wicker has some kind of organization and like method to it they like weave it that looks like that looks like it was a guy's hair at one point it was and they shaved it into that
Starting point is 00:00:58 this was a guy's hair at one point they were like perfect yeah i'm gonna be honest i let my girlfriend dress me this morning do you actually and i think she went a little nuts this is like this is like when when uh a dad has to do like princess time with his daughter yes and you walk in and he's in like a dress it's kind of what this podcast feels like every day yes i'm doing princess it doesn't look it doesn't look like the opening is big enough how do you feel when i say stuff like that do you agree with that kind of sentiment yes and how does that work again i think it's no but no but andrew my phone's dead do you have a charger uh i can oh thank you i sorry perfect can i just toss it to you yeah
Starting point is 00:01:50 nailed it i saw i saw a lot of different possibilities for how that throw was gonna go i didn't i didn't think about the light i didn't think about that light i threw my phone i just tried to throw my phone to andrew and just went straight into the light most people don't think about the light it just went straight down it's kind of anticlimactic these floors are these floors are made out of like uh rubber yeah it's like the did you ever play on a on a gym like that our gym in elementary school was that and you'd think it'd be softer yeah but like if you fell it just like skinned you from like elbow to wrist it yeah from ass to tea kettle you'd come home and just like
Starting point is 00:02:40 like a huge chunk of your arm was missing uh yeah the amount of like i feel like most times as a child i had like a chunk of my arm missing yeah of the skin and it wasn't a big deal at all it was just like no it was festering there were like maggots growing inside of it and your mom was like this is childhood and that and now kids probably have they get one scratch on their xbox xbox controller and their mom takes them to the genius bar i mean what happened we used to be all cut up and rugged and covered in dirt and mama would say get back out there and keep playing now you get one scratch on your xbox controller and your mom takes you to the genius bar meeting shoddy for a first date at the genius bar so she thinks you're smart i went to the genius bar and everybody knew
Starting point is 00:03:25 me i went to the genius bar and they sang he's a jolly good fellow about you i went to mid city this weekend yeah everyone knew you okay so mine feel like they're all positive and yours all feel like insults okay i went to nice guyville i went to kokomo and it was awesome i went guy who doesn't know what we're doing i went to tahiti and had a blast well i i i um how was your weekend dude i had an unreal weekend hit me usa soccer on friday electric win over paraguay uh that's kind of your country yeah was that like your was that a tough decision for you no my sister was texting like go paraguay i was like laura what my mom did the same thing she goes who are we rooting for today i was like what we're all from here i have been to paraguay twice which is improbable it's more
Starting point is 00:04:23 than twice more than most yeah i lived there for like a month and a half once and uh a lot of respect for the paraguayan people didn't you work at a gas station in paraguay yeah i did work you kind of look like right now yeah this fit would have gone double platform in paraguay this was the uniform what did you recognize anyone on the team where you're like i grew up from like your travels yeah from no that guy that guy yeah he was unleaded yeah no i was always in like this tiny town i like trained with their soccer team one time they were way better than us better than me oh but the local towns yeah yeah got it i was like andrew's question doesn't seem so crazy no no no like the local town i trained with their i trained with the men's national team
Starting point is 00:05:04 when i was there but yeah surprisingly i don't know i don't know how big the country is so there was a chance that you you knew someone on the team how big is paraguay you want me to guess yeah are we talking square miles or population definitely not going to be able to guess square miles but i just wanted to check i didn't want you to have any wiggle room if you were like a million yeah and then the it was a million i'm gonna say that the whole country is two million people i'm gonna go three and a half seven point one wow wow they speak guarani they have like their own native language they also all speak spanish yeah it's like how uh in spain that was the only thing i
Starting point is 00:05:47 what do they speak in like that one part of catalan yeah catalan in valencia they speak valencian did you ever use vosotros when you were down there yeah that's everyone that's like part of it but when i was learning spanish this is like a i like see other people talking about this on the internet this isn't like a unique thought but all my spanish teachers were like you'd be like what is when do you use vosotros and they were like you'll like don't ask well it's only in spain and like 90 of our spanish teachers here are like from it felt like the dark side of the force yeah they were like we have to tell you it exists for like balance purposes but i don't want you to know how to use it yeah i mean you don't yeah i obviously know what both right otros
Starting point is 00:06:28 it's like oh is but like for the listeners that like it's a it's a conjugation so like it's i think it's similar to nosotros and that it's we it's no it's second person plural so it's like i don't even can i be honest i couldn't even tell you what second person means in english why would i ever need like you like y'all like you all oh so it's like there's people in like their version of kentucky right is spain yeah except it's like where it started okay but then in latin america and south america instead of saying like y'all they just say like the third person plural also applies to you all which is like them oh i don't know it doesn't really make sense but it's like hey there's no really way to explain it because like we don't
Starting point is 00:07:24 conjugate our verbs the way that yeah we had a shirt growing up that it was navy with white text in like collegiate font and it said y'all instead of yale so from afar you'd be like now that is a smart guy and then you get closer and you go um I think he went from the south I think he came from the south that's pretty good or like the kale shirts did you ever see those
Starting point is 00:07:51 I thought that was killer back in like 2012 dude what was up with that why did how did that kale become kale was not a thing anyone ate until like it used to just be something people smoked
Starting point is 00:08:06 like indigenous tribes they smoked swear to god and that's why there was like a stigma around it that it was like a drug did it have any like effect like it's like almost like aspirin or something like it's kind of like uh how you how poppy seed is how you get heroin i think wait really poppies have opium r.a dickie fun fact cy young winner back in the day anyone anyone he was a knuckleballer for the mets r.a dickie can i guess what happened is there a world where he tested positive for opium and then said he just had a bunch of everything bagels yeah poppy seed sandwich stands by i read his autobiography and he was like i
Starting point is 00:08:46 swear to god so do you believe him yeah i don't know at the time when i was i read his autobiography when i was 14 i believed the shit out of it it's i haven't really revisited it in my head but when reading someone's autobiography yeah you're on those you're on their side the whole time like everyone i mean i i haven't read many but the the passages i have read it's like when you're watching a a movie about a guy yep even i'm not gonna name names but like there are like there you know you'll be like i i see how i see how i'm trying to even think who i'm talking about who when did this it's like i'm marty supreme you're like rooting for him to win at the end and then you're like wait he was like the biggest piece of shit of all time yeah i'm trying to think
Starting point is 00:09:36 who's like bad that i've seen because that i realized when i was saying it sounded like i was saying i kind of saw how hitler got i mean michael jackson left out some parts okay i feel like that's like how all like the safty movies are though in general it's like they make i guess they're not like they're not autobiographical but like they make you like root for breaking bad Breaking Bad's a good – where there's like an anti-hero and you're on his side. Sean and I were just talking about that. My favorite movie is The Social Network. And that's sort of the same way where Mark Zuckerberg is the bad guy throughout the whole thing.
Starting point is 00:10:07 But you see like to what limits he'll go to achieve his dreams that you end up really rooting for him. That's a really good option. Because you understand – like Sean was telling me there was a movie where this guy gets stuck in like a cave and he ends up like dragging himself out of the cave to the nearest town like miles and miles away. Okay. And so he ends up building a business and sacrifices a lot of things and becomes a not very good family man and becomes like not a very good husband and, you know, divorces his wife or a hotter woman and all these things. But you see that, like, how much you'll sacrifice to go the distance that you're like, I have no choice but to root for him. Yeah. You know, same with The Founder.
Starting point is 00:10:45 I love that movie, like the McDonald's movie. Yeah, Ray Kroc. he's he's such a bad guy the whole time but you see like when he was poor you know and like how he was treated when he was poor that like you have no choice but to kind of like end up rooting for him in the end do you think our kids are gonna be watching like the open ai thing and be like i don't know and be like i'm kind of a big sam like your kid comes down for dinner and he's like a big sam altman guy yeah god damn it well they're gonna hate the supporting cast i don't know the movie yeah you know wait there's already a movie yeah oh you don't know about this no you don't know
Starting point is 00:11:22 who's in it no angus what oh is that angus is in an ai is that like public info yeah google's google open ai movie did it come out no oh they're artificial so it's going to okay the film's cast wait andrew garfield's in it yeah click on it is angus like a big role in it yeah wait really look he's the only person that doesn't have a wikipedia oh no yeah wow wait that's funny that you mentioned like a theoretical movie yeah yeah okay all right all right let me rephrase it's gonna be like when our kids are gonna be a huge fan of um who's the ftx guy another sam oh sam bankman freed sam bankman sam bankman freed yeah um that girl's booked and busy monica barbara have you seen the movie that's coming out
Starting point is 00:12:20 where um you're not allowed to have premarital sex except for one day a year have you heard about this like the purge for like one day you're not horny oh wait what is it fuck uh it's you jacked off the day before like the sex yeah do you think people like let themselves like built wait go it's her and callum turner who's dualipa's husband and they live in this society where apparently you can only have sex one day of the year if you're not married okay and so everybody that day is like scrambling to find someone to have sex you think you'd have it lined up yeah i feel like you'd like spend the rest of the year like and like that's a lot of criticism on twitter right now about the movie but but i guess also you'd like you'd have a
Starting point is 00:13:04 what like there are a lot of people that would like they'd have a falling out with that person like right before sex day like imagine breaking up with your situation right before sex day oh oh my god that's that's like that's like uh that's a lot of guys experience that with prom yeah i was about to say that prom did you ever know like the couple that was like so locked in all four years of like wait what is it like breaking up with your girlfriend like the week before prom did that happen a lot yeah i think and then and then guys would be like they end up taking like a fucking random like because all the girls in their friend group sure i guess i'm speaking from like personal experience i will say my girlfriend in high school we broke up
Starting point is 00:13:43 and we remained like friends and we ended up getting back together before prom but there was a conversation of like can we just go together anyways because i was like i'm not could be able to find someone to go with um that makes it seem like i was a loser this was like two weeks before prom everyone was booked we had a couple that was locked in like all four years high school like they were like prom king and queen and then a week before prom they broke up and we were like oh my god like then this other guy or like single like what are we gonna do single yeah being single was like a big deal hot news yeah she's now dating a professional golfer so things worked out for her which golfer ah man he's sponsored by titleist oh chris is it
Starting point is 00:14:30 chris willis saying he's sponsored by titleist is like she's dating an nba player he wears basketball shoes wait i also just realized i i never got the payoff on this nope they didn't smoke kale oh you guys got kale we got kale I was wondering my guard my guards down we were having such a fun time that I was like truly I know and I forgot to even do well I've told this I've said this a million times but Andrew this
Starting point is 00:14:57 will be the test of your listening skills up until like the kale the kale fad kale mania who do you think was the largest buyer of kale in the world or maybe the u.s. like a state in the No, no, no, just, like, an entity. I'll even give you, it's a company you know. Ah, ooh.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Before it became, like, a big thing to eat kale. Open AI? It was Pizza Hut, because they would decorate the salad bar. Like, it was, like, not for eating. They'd, like, fill in the things with kale to make it look like it was, like, sitting on, like, a bed of lettuce. A bed of lettuce. I'm thinking about changing my loyalties, pizza loyalties. okay to another company so i'm taking takers wait where what so i grew up a papa john's guy
Starting point is 00:15:48 you were a papa john i was a papa john's guy but i have beef with them because every time i order for them i ask for extra pepperoncinis yeah because that's the whole reason i eat papa john's they have the best pepperoncinis and the garlic sauce they forget every single time they forget every time so what are you so you're a free agent i'm a free agent i feel like for that type of pizza domino's is go to domino's domino's is i i don't know i think there's a world where like you could get kind of an up-and-comer and they would cherish your business so much that they there might be more perks like you need dominoes a lot more than dominoes needs you but if you get like blaze blaze or something
Starting point is 00:16:29 like you could be like they're maybe they'd give you like a blaze black card yeah or like dough bricks or something yeah maybe like maybe like a dough brick sponsored eater did you hear Andrew's lunch is sponsored. What does that mean? Like hearing Matt, people being like, yeah, Andrew has had Dobrik's. I'm just eating Dobrik's every day. He's gained like 30 pounds. He looks awesome.
Starting point is 00:16:51 He looks unbelievable. No, I get like really hot. Yeah, yeah. He's in 30 pounds of pure muscle. He's so much hotter in a dad bod. Yeah, it's like that Nathan Fielder episode where like the moving company, they're like Yeah, the movement. Yeah, you'll get so much hotter if you like move boxes for people. I want, you know what? Call me crazy.
Starting point is 00:17:07 i think if i think if you put out the word and you said like la pizza restaurants i will only purchase pizza from you yeah but like start a bidding war like maybe maybe dobrix gives you like 50 off flowers like i'll give you 75 off but because you're ordering it like you eat pizza a yeah yeah once a week so be like you have a guaranteed pizza order once a week who wants me yeah i should get all the hats i like do a live decision i had pizza this week i ordered there we go i had a naughty pie from oh my god are you still feeling it literally still in my stomach if i have a naughty pie like if if you were getting married on a friday and i had a on monday i might have to miss your wedding yeah i can't go any pretty debilitated i didn't eat
Starting point is 00:18:01 anything all day yesterday because i just was still full really from yeah i mean i ate it at like two in the morning how much of it did you have like three slices yeah they're pretty big slices for the viewers at home listeners at home think of like a like a college notebook yeah like you know those like black and white marble thing they're each slice is that size and three times the thickness yeah it was it was well the knicks so that back to our awesome weekend so u.s world cup went on friday having fun saturday get up go watch the knicks it was unbelievable there was we had like mini new york on main street in santa monica this library and tavern on main had like tvs outside and like everyone was just like in the street and uh i mean a very very mini new york
Starting point is 00:18:45 it was like but it was fun it was like a fun vibe it was like a mini little italy yes it was little, little, little. Lawler was saying nobody went out Saturday night. He was saying after the game, the streets were dead. Main Street was dead. Not right after the game, but then it kind of died down a little. Was he down there?
Starting point is 00:19:05 I think so. He was at Busby's, he said originally, but then he tried to go out and he said it was all dead. Oh, that Main Street? Santa Monica? Our Main Street, Santa Monica. Where Librarian Tavern are. There's a Busby's on Main Street? No, no, no. he was there but then he came to main street i was like it was pretty fun for for they started
Starting point is 00:19:24 playing like new york new york and at right after and everyone was singing and like it was super fun i i go into library because i was like i'm gonna get some like get some shots for my buddies celebrate like whatever uh the bartender sees me come in with like with the next jersey and just points at me and points at like the top shelf tequila and i was like you want some i was like hell yeah he's like how many you guys are there's five of us he's i got you pours five shots i thought it was like a on the house thing oh he was just like you must want it was like this guy is so happy i'm gonna upset it was 250 oh my god i would have been like dude that you you had to you you have to stand your ground there and be like you know what you did that was misleading
Starting point is 00:20:05 what you just did i mean the knicks had won the championship about three minutes prior so i was just like you know what wow yeah damn i had to go home because they did they did they did new york related songs for 45 minutes i was like i get it but you were just a hater i am a hit no no totally a hit it was so fun for agree i was in brentwood at a bar yeah we were at uh old fella a uld and uh i walked i walked in sorry finish your thing i'll just tell you no no that was it i walked in uh it's packed yep so it's standing room only and you have to kind of gauge like if i'm gonna squeeze in between two people to try and order i gotta figure out like who the cool people are because you don't want to like squeeze in between two people that like
Starting point is 00:20:54 don't want you there sure and i squeeze in i think i was like oh no way what's up and i was like hey how's it going man and so we now i made two more two more new buddies we completely forgot about the next game and we're just trying to split the g for like 45 minutes forgot that i'd come with with buddies yeah it was just with these two guys trying to split the g for 30 minutes i did it two times in a row and they were like this guy is unbelievable and then i missed the third one and that like immediately takes all the air out of them because if you do it twice it's like maybe this is like his super like he just never and then when you miss the third it just seems like a coincidence but that's why i walk in and i'm standing there for like you know
Starting point is 00:21:39 10 minutes like it's packed so it's just hard to get the bartender's attention sure there there's one who's taking care of our section and there's one who's taking care of the other section okay the section on the right like people are getting their beers before they even have the thought that they want another beer like there's just a really dialed in bartender on that side and ours is trying our best but it's just she's just not able to get it done one of the guys that i was standing between i was like am i crazy i feel like we've been standing for like 15 minutes he was like yeah right before you walked in she took like three shots i think she's just like ham that's awesome but uh i wanted to go to a different bar after the next one because they did like
Starting point is 00:22:25 new york new york empire state of mind they ran through like the classics and it was even though i'm not a knicks fan it was i will admit for the first 15 minutes it was like this is kind of cool yeah after a little bit it's like you get to the b team of new york songs like there's the hits i'm trying to think of what what the b team even is welcome to new york i'll be waiting for you that was yeah that hype actually i love that song but i don't know it's not like new york state of mind yeah it was like it was like that's firmly in the b category yes yeah welcome to new york so that yeah it is a great one yeah wow now i wish they had played that at my bar if you ever go to universal have you guys been to the universal here
Starting point is 00:23:12 yeah in california yes um if you go to like the secret lives with pets section they only play that song really and so yeah my girlfriend and i they have like a sick bar there on the corner with like a little like patio you can like drink at what and um so we got a couple beers and we were just sitting out there like resting this past weekend no no no this was like when i was at universal and uh so we were sitting out there and they only played that song on loop for like 40 minutes and she was like wait i haven't finished my drink but can we go somewhere else that's like when i pooped at harry potter world and they do like the moaning myrtle sound effects and i was like it's fun when you're peeing you're like oh that's funny but then it's
Starting point is 00:23:50 looping while you're pooping while you're pooping and it's agony because it also you i like when it's like oh maybe that's an easter egg like maybe i was in the bathroom right when they do that yeah it loses its luster if you're like every time i pee also like i don't want to call me crazy i don't want her to be moaning that often that sounds exhausting yeah i mean she's a ghost so i'm just i'm just thinking about guys like all like waiting in there like waiting for the moaning myrtle like if they didn't play like all the time creepy there's like a group like of people like the people that look for the hidden mickeys the myrtle uh are you in line oh no no go ahead the myrtle boys they're like we're just waiting for the myrtle
Starting point is 00:24:33 they're just all like standing there to crowd i just feel like it's i just hate performative moaning you know what i mean like i want to have to earn it a little bit i mean the poop i was taking would have earned it from anyone who could watch so oh my god did you guys this might be too crass but speaking of like performing crass or crass this might be this might be too crass and then it's like a thing that did you ever have like a buddy in college whose girlfriend was like a performative like screamer oh and you could that is the great i've never understood that when you're like they know we're all down here and they're just like you know i gotta hand up i was the performative screamer in college so i can't really
Starting point is 00:25:27 Pass any judgment A new guy Is Will okay? Yeah he's just getting head Will's just getting head He's a performative chirper Did I tell you about Did I tell you about
Starting point is 00:25:49 There was a guy who lived in like We had this one house That like 16 of our buddies lived at and 16 yeah it was it was huge it was broken up into three separate like townhouses but it's like a frat house yeah i mean everyone there was in our fraternity but it wasn't like a whatever but this one guy and his girlfriend would have i don't know if his bed was loose or if they just had like crazy sex every time but it was like it sounded like someone was like operating like heavy machinery upstairs and we we used to call it like making a desk like you'd
Starting point is 00:26:27 hear the banging like oh nick's making a desk upstairs and a new guy had come over and heard the banging and someone was like oh nicky's building a desk upstairs and he thought we were being serious and then like a week later it happened again and someone said like nicky's making a desk and the guy was like how many like is this what he does for a living does he like make desks he's got a studio i uh i actually thought about your college house this weekend because on friday was the u.s soccer game and we went to jameson's to watch and i was i'm i think i'm probably in the most excited about the world cup of any of my friends okay and i really wanted to make sure we had the best possible experience as was chet and but chet
Starting point is 00:27:13 was coming from the east side to meet me so i was like i'm gonna go mad early to jameson's get a table yep and then everyone can come i got to jameson's over two hours before the game every table was taken i i left work at 3 45 walked to jameson's for a six o'clock game every table's already taken and i'd gone by at like 1 p.m and saw that it was empty like i was like very like yeah and i i wanted to be james even though jameson's is like jameson's is like a scary bar if it but for if it isn't sports for sports it's the best it's the best bar if you can get a table around especially if you get a table so i'm standing there and there's two other guys that like no one is standing at the bar because the only people are there are people who went
Starting point is 00:27:53 there and got tables like and there's two guys standing there like you wait you're looking for a table i was like yeah he's like yeah i can't believe like we we've been here for like 15 minutes i can't believe it he was like we were trying to pay this guy but like he we offered him 40 bucks each and he was like there were just like two guys at this like big table right by the window and i was like well i'll go in on it with you like let's let's negotiate we offered like 150 bucks collect i mean we had like 10 people coming so it was like we're like i'm sure everyone will be down to chip in 20 bucks once i get here ended up they like haggled with us and they're like we'll leave right now if you give us 300 bucks and we're like yeah shook it shook his hand
Starting point is 00:28:34 you and two strangers me and two strangers because we we are like we each have crews of like five or six people right but like our big thing is like you just need a home base like you're gonna want to be standing a lot anyway uh so we paid a guy three hundred dollars to leave which was reminding me of your story of when your buddy came out that was a bad hang and you just gave him 50 bucks to go back to bed but it was like what's this to have heard on the podcast but it blows my mind that yeah but this anyway this was like we pay the guys 300 bucks and then he's like all right can we just like finished our like drink and then we were all kind of like dude i don't know it kind of feels like you gotta go man but it was awesome i mean it was totally worth it you'd rather pay
Starting point is 00:29:13 300 and just go to like big deans or something but big deans i don't even know if you get i don't know if we would have got a table there also just the vibe of the like i had some friends at waterfront but like i was like i want to be indoors because i feel like you really get the like yes energy like dude the national anthem in jameson's was like everyone was standing and like screaming it yeah and every goal was like it was fucking electric in there yeah and when you're at a table then you have a waitress yeah so you don't have to go wait in line at the bar or anything oh true it was it was totally worth it but it was pretty the waitress would like saw it happen and comes over and was like i've never fucking seen that in my life and also the best
Starting point is 00:29:51 part was the guy we paid we assumed they would like leave and go somewhere else they just like stood right next to the table the whole time yeah that's awesome yeah that's hilarious it was just two guys just two guys at this huge table yeah really it's weird and there's also the it was mad hot in there but like our table had like the window open right behind it so it was like oh my literally the perfect seat in the whole restaurant chills down my it was beautiful and we the two and i'm with two random guys who ended up being like delightful like we were like hugging after every goal and stuff he texted me the next day he was like let's run it back for the next game that's sick hopefully we don't have to pay the amount were you gonna sit at that table solo
Starting point is 00:30:25 for two hours then yeah well no i had scott was coming to meet like i i had a few people i've done like can you please come early yeah yeah check out there maybe five i don't know yeah it was but it was uh it was special um that's america it was awesome too they looked so good the u.s yeah they looked i'm like scared of how good this team looks yeah we'll see if they use my tickets to the turkey game are already worth five thousand dollars are you gonna sell them no how much do you buy them for a thousand each yeah so you can make ten grand i can make eight grand because i got two of them yeah i uh but you should keep them but i also i'm realizing that's like the the price you see and the resales like with fees and they take a cut before the fees so it's like i think realistically
Starting point is 00:31:14 you just go i'm trying you know the reason that i'm think i'm going to go is that my brother sold tickets to game four of the finals so i'm like i have to oh and then they lost no that was the game they won on the og put back got it got it and he made a bunch of money but i'm like that's like wait is sam like barred from season two i heard if you like sell your final tickets they don't let you get season i think they said the spurs did that i don't think the knicks have to worry about that because it's not like you're not selling them to like opposing fans yeah like it's not there's never gonna be like a dominant other team yeah that's true um jacob's buddy was in town with his wife and he was here for the world cup like so they went to the game and then
Starting point is 00:31:58 two day on saturday they wanted to go to like the watch party thing i was like okay for uh it was like down in venice beach no no the one in the coliseum okay so you like go sit i ran into um josh there estrada yeah wait wait watch party for the brazil game yeah there's just tv you're just sitting in the middle of the coliseum like on the grass and they're like tvs everywhere in beers and so it's pretty cool um so we go in first half of the brazil game it's like so chill everyone's like lounging it felt like woodstock for soccer like everyone's like sitting on the grass whatever and so halftime comes and it's not super packed like everyone was sitting down whatever and we're like all right let's go take a let's go take a leak and then grab a beer and
Starting point is 00:32:41 we'll come back we come back they have closed the gates for people going down into the coliseum because like i guess like 2 000 brazil fans showed up at halftime and flooded the thing and we looked out and i took a photo of it it is uh i'll send this to andrew but they yeah why do they all come have to i don't know i don't know where they came from but this is this is brazil this isn't the greatest picture but like look at the grass area in the middle this was all people sitting down and there was so much space and then we come back and there's this like zoom in on that right portion like it had immediately become like shoulder to shoulder and they're blocking people from coming in their act capacity and we had already kind of had a couple beaters and we're
Starting point is 00:33:35 like confused and we're like surely this security guard's mistaken obviously he's not and we had got there was this gap that we had slipped through the first time just to like save time and i was just like oh let's just go through that again but i didn't communicate to jacob and his friends that that's what i was doing so i slipped through this crack and now i'm in the open and all the security guards look at me like i could have probably walked in if we were all on the same page but because i had to like stop and be like okay where's jacob now i was just standing in the like restricted area and all these security guards come up to me and they're like pushing me with their like bellies like to the like like intimidating me like back to the thing like
Starting point is 00:34:16 uh-uh nope uh-uh and i was like maybe if i make him laugh they'll let me in and so i made some joke along the lines of like exposing a security flaw and like i'm helping you guys like you you wouldn't have found this and they were like uh-uh out of here and so we had to go sit in the stands oh you didn't get like kicked out of the venue though no no i also like played dumb enough that it was like yeah yeah they weren't yeah yeah but i don't know it was okay and then that's when we went to the next game after got it the bar after yeah well that reminds me of uh when we were at the brewers game we snuck up into these like nice like tables they had like an outfield in the outfield and we like just went and sat at one and the security guard comes by and he's like
Starting point is 00:35:03 uh you got you have tickets to this like clearly knew we didn't i was like no sir was just hoping i'd get away with it and he was like well next time you should just buy the tickets i was like yeah i was gonna try the free option and then he goes all right you guys are good that's awesome I was so honest and like made him laugh so he's just like all right it was the eighth inning it was like come on dude that's the security guard he's like I'll give you one inning but it was the middle of the eighth so I was like yeah I remember I used to shoot the A&M football games and there was one time uh we were beating Alabama and like everybody was getting like ready to like storm the field you know yeah and some kids had just like made their way like down onto the field
Starting point is 00:35:45 already and uh and so i like looked at him and i was like oh are you here for like media and they're like no we just we just kind of found our way down here no and i was like and i was like oh okay cool or whatever and then one of the security guards like went up to one of them and like was like oh do you have like a pass or something like that and i just slowly inched my way away from them because i was like i'm not with them i'm not with them i'm not with them i thought you were gonna be like no they're good yeah yeah no i should have i should have but i was like i was like oh i do not want to get kicked out because i also want to storm the field but this happens that's wait also this google thing is really messing yeah can we get rid of him yeah
Starting point is 00:36:19 wait i don't know can you google like do a do a barrel roll can you google do a barrel roll no do bing duck yeah wait no bing safe no bing safe bing safe can i go to the restroom please i have to go pee as well all right well i got a quick question for you what is your guilty pleasure drink pinnacle vodka pinnacle vodka what what is your go-to drink for the beach i am when i'm at the beach i bring a handle of pinnacle vodka and rate your bartending skills for me i would go one to ten with ten being pinnacle vodka guys pinnacle vodka was born to be the pinnacle of value vodka from the beginning they have sought to do two things make high quality vodka and offer that award-winning vodka at a reasonable price distilled five times for a
Starting point is 00:37:05 Crisp, smooth finish. I've been drinking a pinnacle soda lately. Nice. That's my new drink. It's soda water and pinnacle vodka. Wow. And you know that pinnacle vodka is 100% distilled from cane? I did know that.
Starting point is 00:37:18 I mean, cane sugar is the way to do it. It's got a simpler molecular structure. Yeah. So you can kind of bypass the sacrification process that grain starches must undergo, which means fewer congeners, byproducts, and fusel oils, which results in a cleaner, naturally smooth end product. But more importantly, it is made here in the USA. Made here in the USA.
Starting point is 00:37:45 Guys, they are proudly produced in America, supporting American jobs and delivering American quality. So next time you're stocking the bar, grab some Pinnacle Vodka. Great vodka at a great price. That's right. Please drink responsibly. Must be 21 plus. All right, guys.
Starting point is 00:38:01 You know we love Mug. and this episode is brought to you by Mug Root Beer. That's right. All right, here's a question for you. Yeah. When was the last time you were holding something that made you feel like you had the dog in you? Right now.

Starting point is 00:38:29 I was born with a dog in me. Yeah. and I will die with a dog in me, and that is because of mug root beer. I mean, I'm going to be honest with you. Over the weekend, I was worried about the Knicks, and they were losing, and I drank a mug root beer, came back, won the championship game. Close your eyes and think about a time you had that dog in you. Open your eyes.
Starting point is 00:38:52 Okay. Seriously, I love mug. I love mug zero. I love mug heavy. Yep. I love mug regular. I love everything about mug root beer. because at its core, it's more than just a drink, guys.
Starting point is 00:39:04 It's an ethos, all right? It's about letting loose, living life unfiltered, embracing your inner dog, all right? And be sure to throw them a follow online at mugrootbeer. thank you mug let's get back into the episode can i talk about something can i get something off my chest here yeah go for it i i am frustrated with some of the people in this office there is a there is a culture of if you leave for more than four days someone just takes your office chair and makes it if you have if you have a better chair than them i went into my office my desk
Starting point is 00:39:59 the on the highest setting like someone was in there standing and my chair is gone and i was like you can come in and use my desk as a standing desk if you want but put my chair in the corner or something do you know who it is no do you know he texted us who cahill or sam texted us remember he was like hey is it okay if cahill uses your office and he said yeah go for it he said sean or sean sorry you're right uh but he wouldn't have taken my chair i mean he would be suspect number one based on that tag no that wasn't this sean that was the sean it's a different sean oh that like i don't think is a did we hire him no you're right i think he was just visiting he might have just been visiting there was a guy called oh too loud so yes all right so your chair
Starting point is 00:40:49 so and it's replaced with one of the shitty blue ones they're like stained like there are a couple chairs that literally look like someone like gave birth on them and we just haven't gotten in them in them sorry you're good and uh and so one of the birth chairs is in my thing and i was like i came in and i was in a bad mood but i was like you know what i'm gonna like make a concerted effort to like not let it affect other people today and god tested me literally within the first 50 i came in like great weekend guys and then walked into my desk walked into my office in the birth chairs in there and i walked out was like who took my fucking chair and bastion immediately got up and was like helping me which was suspect yeah yeah where i was like you know
Starting point is 00:41:34 when when someone i'll have to look for it he shouldn't have cared as much as he did so he's kind of suspect number one cahill was real quiet and he had the same model chair that i have what i found was the exact model that i was using was in carly's office as her second chair but this time it had a huge stain on it so here's what i think happened i think cahill this wouldn't hurt your birth the birth thing you can never think carly is pregnant the here's what i think happened carly called cahill into a meeting in her office he like grabbed he brought his chair and there then was like saw mine saw mine didn't have a stain swapped mine forgot to put it back in my room and so he switched models but now he has the one without the huge stain on it
Starting point is 00:42:29 and then here's the thing i brought it back so i brought it back into my office all the settings are different it was like for a guy the chair settings were for a guy that i don't think he's ever sat before really it was complete it was like beyond upright where like your back would be hunched forward and then it's on the lowest setting i just i actually saw a video of a guy who's never sat before i'm not kidding did you see this i did see that too actually yeah there's like a guy who's never sat before for religious reasons yeah yeah they're like painting his feet they're like putting like jelly on his feet yeah this is a real thing yeah yeah pull this up pull guys you know what bing it humor me no bing it no don't bing it because bing's gonna throw us off
Starting point is 00:43:15 jeffrey hoffman never worked before guys never worked before wait that's who's the guy in india that like his hand has been raised this is also a guy his entire life and it's like mutilated now yeah maybe say guy standing for ever wait is it the same guy i don't think it was in protest it was i thought it was like a religious thing i think it was a religious protest oh my god yeah wait can you look up the guy who's like never put his hands down that's the one i'm thinking of that one freaks me out yeah his arm yeah his arm down sorry can't do his arm can't do one without the other yeah oh my fucking god yeah that's it's like
Starting point is 00:44:07 how's that even i don't even get it it's like melting off his body apparently now like he's gotten past the hard part yeah i believe that he's not he's not holding it up anymore it just won't go down that's so weird what if the thing that he's protesting like got resolved but now it's stuck like this and so he has to find a new thing now he's got it so we never forget yeah like 9-11 oh my god dude that's he's superman have you seen this i just got a whiff of smelling good whiff of smelling good like deodorant i don't know have you seen the the that vice reporter that went and visited like cannibals in uh i don't know if it's in india or if it's in like it's one of those places over there and uh there you have to watch this video
Starting point is 00:44:54 at one point it's too long to pull up right now but they're sitting around this thing and he's interviewing these cannibals and one of one of them puts like a necklace or like a headband of like a lobster claws and like it's just like this rotting whatever on the thing and the translator he can't speak he doesn't speak the same language the cannibal speaks and the translator basically is like hey um i have to head out like like the translator clearly heard something that like we're not yeah safe anymore but they he's like all right like stay calm but like i think they we shouldn't be here anymore and they like stop they like stop the reporting what is the lobster i'm confused they just i think i was trying to illustrate like how gross like they
Starting point is 00:45:43 live in like filth like that he's like a kid like a crown of like lobster claws and like rotting flesh and like put it on the guy i thought you were gonna say they were all sitting together and one just started putting like teriyaki sauce he's seasoning him yeah making surfs up when they're uh chicken joe's in like the hot tub and like a guy comes by with like cracked pepper the who was the uh some like rockefeller or like vanderbilt or whatever had like dedicated his life to like photographing these undocumented or these uh uncontacted tribes and they just fucking ate him like they just everyone was like dude like i want to say it was darius garland i don't think so i don't know i just thought it was funny like
Starting point is 00:46:36 everyone was like this is a bad idea and he was trying to prove like you know we're all we're all one you know unit here college put college and then they fucking ate him damn can you google that see oh van got it he was at vanderbilt got it right can you google that like uh photographer rockefeller oh oh man we gotta get off bing no we do not know how to use bing oh man uh google like rockefeller eaten by cannibals yeah okay so michael rockefeller goes to where he goes to new guinea papa new guinea and they fucking ate him oh damn that has to be we were talking about this right as we ended you said the spider-man of sri lanka fell into a volcano the spider-man of yemen spider-man of yemen yeah fell he fell into a volcano would
Starting point is 00:47:52 you rather fall into a volcano or get eaten by an uncontacted tribe uh i would rather fall in a volcano because i want to go down seeing the inside of a volcano yeah yeah but also i'm reading this it they his boat capsized 12 to 14 miles off of the shore oh he didn't go there on purpose that's what it sounds like got it but he was going to these places before this i don't know i was watching there was a good there was a good uh i was again i was watching family guy for the first time ever no like you know sorry that was confusing for the first time in a while got us had the urge watch one of the funniest episodes i've ever seen and he did the uh they had what's peter do peter so it was the one where he had like a hairless twin in a shed and uh he hears it and
Starting point is 00:48:52 he goes my hairless twin got out and he goes out and you hear a gun shot and then the hairless twin comes back in peter's clothes and he goes hello family let's let's eat all the garbage we want that's great i i uh what was i was watching will's show last night not suitable for work have you watched it yeah it's really good yeah and i'm not just saying that he said something last night that cracked me up i forget what it was though that's a good story the uh he had he had a very angus line in one of them we watch it he did i didn't i haven't gotten to this episode yet But I got the clip where he did his voice. And I was wondering if they wrote.
Starting point is 00:49:35 And he was like, you think I'm important? Like something like that. I like the part where the girl's like, you got to go apologize to the girl that you like adopted a dog with. And he goes, yeah, yeah, I will. And he goes, so you're like going to do that for me, right? You're going to go up there and talk to her for me and apologize for me? And she goes, no. And he goes, yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:55 That's funny. Have you guys seen Widow's Bay yet? I've watched some of it. Did we already talk about this on the pod? yeah um cocks i'm out of it when luke was here um i was gonna say i'm so jealous of everyone that's in new york right now it seems like such a fun time to be in new york with like the world cup and the knicks seems dangerous but this weekend dangerous there was like a shooting in time square last night when they were all celebrating i think i'm i think i've been on a different side
Starting point is 00:50:21 of it looks so much fun yeah yeah i guess i think tiktok knows that i'm anti knicks because it only shows me the bad parts of it yeah i mean that looks like the most fun night of all time yeah i just thought there was there was it was a bunch of guys fighting and then the shooting starts happening and they all immediately dropped their like beef and like scattered like if you're if you're in a fist fight and a gunfight breaks out you're like we can handle this later yeah that's true um yeah i mean it seems like a really fun time but and keep that in mind that's a hint for this story i'm about to tell so i was at a shakira concert i was shooting a shakira concert on saturday night you were shooting it i was shooting it how i was like i was like a photographer how
Starting point is 00:51:05 did you get that gig uh because i was working through a music blog and they needed photos so i was hired to do it nice so i was shooting the the shakira concert and i was like networking with a lot of the other photographers over there after and i was like oh my god like let me get your instagram and i open up my instagram and the first thing on my instagram feed to this little girl photographer who was like probably 19 still in college is mary shall like a 19 year old little girl feels funny she was like physically small yeah got it got physically like got it five two the petite fog photographer yes she was a petite photographer the first thing as i'm pulling up my instagram and show her is mary shallabies bare butt she posted this twice twice was just
Starting point is 00:51:52 she went on a mooning rampage after the next one it was awesome like on her story no like like grid posting and then posted in the morning like no regrets no regrets i stand by that i was like shocked it's her it's her bare bottom that's insane bare butt twice she doubled down she posted two separate times real two separate times reels wow yeah yeah bare butt and i'm like oh my god i'm so sorry sorry i'm not normally like this yeah i'm like this is not normally what my feed looks like at all i swear like i feel like there's people have you ever met people that like have like a porn instagram account where they only follow like influencers or what i was like that is not what this i'm not that kind of guy i'm not this kind of guy this is
Starting point is 00:52:37 nothing against mary she wasn't it wasn't like she wasn't doing it in like a sexy way at least that like you have that defense where it was like it was clearly someone mooning it wasn't someone there's a difference between mooning and showing your butt and i i can't figure out why but mary was mooning you know when you see it yeah yeah yeah but i but but get it get it i i apologize profusely but it's funny because we were like talking the whole time we're like oh i bet people in new york are going crazy was not expecting bare ass on my feed that's what happens man this team i understand how she got there i think if i was if i was in boston i mean i've pulled my pants down in boston when the celtics haven't even been playing that night you pulled your
Starting point is 00:53:24 pants down when the celtics lost the preseason yeah we went to a celtics practice and you pulled dead sober you saw a guy who looked like jason tatum by the way did you see the world cup reporter he posted your video on tiktok no did you read the comments wait what happened oh the guy who interviewed you at outside the stadium oh yeah people are like people think i'm like the worst guy no no no the tiktok the tiktok that he posted did you see the comments of the tiktok what because he posted you on reels okay and a lot of people took it like way too literally like a lot of europeans or whatever the tiktok there were all these comments that were like rusty feather sounds
Starting point is 00:54:09 ago rusty feather sounds nice but one of the comments was like holy shit like you interviewed the goat and he replied and he goes it's becoming increasingly clear of that that's funny yeah i mean i thought i know i get it it's gonna come right up to you so that made me think like oh maybe he knows who you are but he had no i think we were just we were just right place right time yeah yeah people were mad at me but like my favorite so basically for the people listening this guy came up to me and was like can you i'm gonna give you british soccer british football terms and you tell me what they mean and like i'm not from fucking england i didn't know anyone no one knew no one knew anyone like like people in the comments
Starting point is 00:54:56 were even saying they're like i've grew up in england my whole yeah don't know squeaky bum time the best the best comment was a guy from like he was like from france or something and he's like this isn't a soccer knowledge thing this is just like we don't we're not from your country like yeah yeah i'm from france i'm a huge soccer fan but i wouldn't know what i thought my route one line was pretty good i thought that was really fun yeah um what is i mean did we ever end up looking i wish they had like i wish the video told you what they were yeah yeah i mean squeaky bum time like i uh the tense nerve-wracking final stages of a sporting contest especially when the outcome is uncertain not what i would call it yeah i guess it makes sense like you see
Starting point is 00:55:46 everyone like oh like in like a plastic chair or something got it squeaky bow that makes a lot of sense actually squeaky bum time is what i mean i read happy hour at puckers yeah i squeaky bum time is just me after four cores light yeah oh my god oh sir alex ferguson came up with it the legendary sir alex ferguson sir alex ferguson do you think we'll ever be knighted can you get knighted if you're not uh i don't let's look at it let's bing it wait but he wasn't knighted he was manchester you knighted which is like a separate category i think uh yes american citizens can receive i want one i'm putting it out there i want one that's good we can't use sir bill gates spielberg
Starting point is 00:56:35 angelina jolie when i get home i'll add i'm gonna add that to my to my list of goals when i get home i'm gonna use the bathroom nice first thing do you think that who do you think out of the three of us could get knighted first if we all part like like we only were focused on getting knighted from this day forward you didn't have to worry about like money anything we just everything's taken care of all we need to do is get knighted who do you think could do it first i think you yeah i think you would trip and fall and get knighted i think like metaphorically oh like i'd stumble into knighthood stumble into it yeah somehow yeah although my accent might get me there quicker than it would get yinz yinz have you speaking of yinz have you heard people from baltimore talk
Starting point is 00:57:20 yeah but that's pittsburgh oh i heard a guy's from baltimore talking the other day and i literally could not understand one word is that how did that happen uh i don't i mean i feel like most people from baltimore don't really sound like that but there is like a baltimore whatever pocket of ball like are they from a different like you know like uh uh louisiana a lot of them are from like france back in the day yeah and so they have like that like french whatever i know baltimore's just like og america but what what is that pocket of people that are like like that's how they say hello it's like 16 syllables yeah i feel like every like northeaster city like there's like a thick accent yeah i guess there are parts of people there are parts of maine
Starting point is 00:58:13 where maybe you wouldn't be able to understand them but at least it's still like english like that they add can you pull up like yeah i feel like maybe i'm missing something pull up like crazy baltimore accent it is the it's the most mind-boggling thing i wouldn't i wouldn't have known it was english if i did if there wasn't like what's that you're saying heavy good big I ain't kind of Herman and Gurman. What's Herman and Gurman? What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:45 I mean, that's guy. There are guys that talk like that. It's like a real thing. It's like, like, ickles and yang. Like, they add those, those, they add that to words. Ickle?
Starting point is 00:59:00 You'd be like, we lickle yangs. It's kind of cool. Have you ever heard Xavier Leguette talk? Yeah. Is that how people in South Carolina talk? That's what I grew up on. Yeah. He's a wide receiver, the Panther.
Starting point is 00:59:12 He's from South Carolina. No. Oh, oh, oh. He's dating a... Very country. He's dating a pop star, right? Yeah, like a... Is he?
Starting point is 00:59:20 Or he was dating, like, a female rapper or something, right? Pink Panthers. Sexy Red? Sexy Red, maybe. I don't know. I thought it was Pink Panthers. Glorilla? Glorilla.
Starting point is 00:59:34 Glorilla. Or no, he, like, played her love interest in, like, a video or something. I don't know, but he, uh, no, I mean, he's got like a very, very country. Like I was, I grew up in Charleston, but definitely they're like, yeah, I had, yeah, I knew people like I had neighbors and like had like teachers that had like very South Carolina accent. Like him. Like him, but like toned down maybe a little bit because they also lived in Charleston. Can you understand him in interviews?
Starting point is 00:59:59 Yeah. I mean, I can't pretend like I, but yeah, like I, it, it doesn't sound as foreign maybe as it would to the average. you ran with maybe more of like a southern charm crowd uh yeah yeah i guess i don't know about that either maybe somewhere in the middle yeah i think most people in every place are just pretty average that's what college taught me is like everyone there were very few guys that had like a thick accent and they were from all over yeah peter had like a little bit of a texas thing going on but i think they all my friends would you would just seem like normal people yeah they wouldn't they
Starting point is 01:00:35 weren't yeah i don't know but i remember i'll never forget when i first moved there i was trying to get yeah to charleston i was like 11 i was like played baseball and i was trying to get used to like the yes ma'am no ma'am like i didn't i'd never done that but like some people take it really seriously i think i probably told the story a while ago but there was this kid's mom she like said something to me and i didn't hear what she said like i was like in the dugout and i turned i was like what and she was like her like eyes went wide she's like what do you see a what here who the hell are you calling what and i was like i genuinely don't know what what i didn't hear what you said what am i supposed to say and i think some of them go
Starting point is 01:01:18 like ma'am question that's what it was supposed to be like ma'am yeah but i didn't know that i was like no what i said what because i didn't know what you said yeah and my dad was there and he was just like he also was like i don't know what you're supposed to say like my grandpa was i would if you used a filler word like um yeah but um he would like not be able to drop it like what is a but um shut the fuck up but um i'm gonna fucking kill you i'm gonna get my hands on you grandpa i'm gonna kill you get your fucking ass get your ass off me get your ass off get your batman i was tripped up get your ass your ass off me i paid for 30 minutes can i tell you a fun sobering up and now i'm uncomfortable can i tell you a fun story yeah
Starting point is 01:02:13 we you know how we used to have a basketball team who like friday beers in like the basketball every summer we'd have a basketball team and uh these guys wanted to go to a strip club and i was down and these are all like grown men i was like just wanted to be cool so i like go with them and we turned the corner i turned the corner in this strip club and there was a stripper grabbing it wasn't a player but it was someone involved in the team who up to this point had been a very straight-laced guy and there was a stripper standing on the arms of his chair and banging his face into her butt and i brought it up to him the next morning and he was like yeah that i
Starting point is 01:03:08 didn't ask her to do that but it was one of those things where it was like really hard to get her word in edgewise so you couldn't like she he was like she just did that to him for like 20 minutes that's awesome you know what i was thinking about recently i just remembered a story and i was like i don't think i've told jack that story hit me rusty that story fuck when i was it is funny sorry to that point there are people that will still comment like can't believe he's lying about yeah it's like we've we've made no effort poorly concealed there was a whole tiktok about it recently yeah a girl i went to college with sent me that oh really it was like yeah someone just found out i don't know anyway i was just recently reminiscing when i was in rome with my brother
Starting point is 01:03:53 when i was 17 we went out and we were like at some nightclub and partying or whatever and i started talking to some guy and i was like i was like what is like the actual drinking age to get in here because i was like because i like showed my fake id but i didn't know if i had to because i feel like they don't really care in europe and i was like what you showed your fake id i was like yeah like because it says 23 and i was like i better safe than sorry if i'm 17 he's like dude pointed a shirt i work here i was like oh my god really he was like yeah now i have to kick you out oh fuck and he's like all right can we do this the easy way i was like yeah i'm out It was just all thought
Starting point is 01:04:33 Wait was he like partying with you guys No I think he was like I was just hammering He was like busting our table Or like a security guy there I don't know but he like had the Uniform he was like are you why would you tell me That It would be really funny if they had like undercover bouncers
Starting point is 01:04:50 At bars Hey did you use your fake to get in here I always Cracked me up at at Rollins Like the security guards at this one bar that would have like bulletproof vests on and like they looked like yeah cops and it was just like preppy kids like no one there was never gonna be a threat of like anything happening they want you but they'd like stand there like you know like cops like grab their vests like this and they'd
Starting point is 01:05:16 just be like watch they're like nine of them like what they're the only the only possible thing that could happen is like a kid who is not old enough to drink tries to get in yeah the only violence i ever saw was self-inflicted my buddy seamus was wearing flip-flops and dropped his beer bottle and then like somehow stepped in all the glass like it got like under between his shoes and his flip-flops and uh was just dragging blood around the bar all night and then they were like hey you have to you have to leave you have to collect all this blood i always am like why don't people why don't they let me wear my flip-flops into certain bars but then i saw that and was like i get it i understand i had a really weird moment a couple weeks ago at tavern on main
Starting point is 01:05:59 um i asked the bar posted tavern on main i asked the bartender i go can i do two jaeger bombs yeah and he laughed in my face and shook his head and he goes no we don't serve anything with bomb in its name what i was like what does that mean he's like it's 2026 it's a jaeger it's a jaeger gun unaliving serum you're unaliving i was like one what else has bomb in its name car bomb anything that you would drop a thing into yeah sake bomb yeah i guess he probably just was like yeah we're a grown-up bar jaeger bomb jaeger bomb is fine the i i've understood when irish guys are like i don't like don't call it a car bomb but like you'd think it'd be the english guys would be more worried about that one yeah well it was one of those moments where i was
Starting point is 01:06:56 like yeah yeah no for sure and then the next morning i woke up and i was like that was fucking weird what do you want me to call it by that can i have a shot of jaeger and what is the jaeger i'm jaeger and coke i actually have no red bull isn't jaeger and red bull my uh my friend really likes to do shoot the root have you ever done that you get like a thing of i don't know you shot there we do not want to hear about your buddy shooting root on you i've shot root in idea let's just put it that way you get like a thing of like root beer syrup and you um drop it into a coarse light and it actually tastes really good oh we've been doing a lot lately but okay so i have always i understand the bomb aspect of thing like dropping something into something else
Starting point is 01:07:37 to make the shot more manageable you know what i mean like you drink a jaeger straight would be kind of tough like a jaeger bomb but like dropping something into your coarse light feels funny because it's like that's you drop it in and chug it you just uh yeah you chug it like wouldn't you want like chugging a beer is the easiest way to chug that like adding something to the beer would only make it harder it tastes like tastes like group beer yeah poop poop the roop is that anything maybe well let's workshop it should we roadmap it sure i will say this right before we kind of got the podcast going i think we had a lot of conversations about is this really worth it does anyone even want this what if no one listens what if no one

Starting point is 01:12:20 tell you about it hit me oh you want me to do it now no at the end okay hit me in an hour all right let's hear uh hello billy crusty and rue crusty crusty i'll be boom what's the worst part about wearing flip-flops or sneakers what's the worst part about wearing flip-flops or sneakers i have one for flip-flops and i have one for sneakers i like that he's making he's pushing us to yeah what's the word all right let's think about this um one makes noise on they both make noise they both contain you they limit the potential of your bra feet okay uh you can't wear both of them at the same time introducing the sneaker flop we can workshop the name okay rocky walk to the beach and you need shoes but want flip-flops for the sand
Starting point is 01:13:14 boom it's a stylish shoe that has deployable flip-flops in between where your foot goes and the bottom of the shoe i was thinking like how on clouds that have rubber bottom the flip-flops could stow above the rubber i hope this is this makes sense love the pod i'm having a very hard time picturing it but i like the sentiment of like being able to yeah yeah yeah like you i'm thinking like you zip them off like pants so that but i already pitched that that was the the it was boots it was shoes that had every type of every type of shoe so it started as a boot then it went down to like a sneaker yes sorry yeah i'm in i'm in i like it yeah we can figure out we'll figure out the logistics we're high level we're high level all right what is the worst what's the worst part
Starting point is 01:14:00 about trying to eat healthy it doesn't taste good it doesn't taste as good you see you see something yummy and you're like i could i'll just eat that yeah it's dead it's a fork that will only spear things if it's healthy so like salad prongs are gonna stay there but if you go to like dip into something else they just retract or they become like flaccid it won't like loosen yeah won't let you so this is a scenario where you're eating at home though or like you i think you just care i think you carry it around it's like like phone wallet retractable fork keys but usually it's just a thing you make sure you have on your person at all times i like that a lot all right here's my question what's the worst part about wearing a hat when you take it off you've had
Starting point is 01:14:51 hair bingo introducing the hat hair proof hat okay when you put it on it does a 3d scan of your head it totally replicates how how good your hair looks okay and when you take it off you press a button it goes like nice wait you didn't let i want to make sure you got that and once that's over then you can take it off i like that a lot it like it like pops up does it has little claws that fix your hair you take it off i like that yeah and they come in all sides all shapes all shapes all straw hat whatever you have on whatever yours is like can canvas made what is that made out of i've never seen that material before little worms it looks like wood almost it's little worms looks like when like hair gets like matted yeah it looks like this
Starting point is 01:15:45 yeah stuff you pull out of the drain well it's little worms so i don't know what to say this right cool uh should we hear an am i the asshole yeah or confession whatever it is whatever the fuck it is whichever you want to which one do you want to do let's hear some confessions yeah us to your confessions forgive me father for i have sinned when i was young like quite young probably in second grade one of my friends was over and she was a year older than me and i wanted to like impress her and be cool for some reason and she told me she didn't want to go to our bathroom to pee and asked if she could pee under my bed and she said she does that at home sometimes i was like okay but then she was like sure yeah i guess and then she told me i should do it too
Starting point is 01:16:26 so we literally locked the door and both peed under my bed and it felt like an inside joke secret but i ended up obviously having to tell my mom why my room smelled like piss and she was very mad for obvious reasons so i never did that again uh what's the last sentence uh i also don't i also like don't think she remembers this which makes me wonder if it was real or a dream but it's so vivid in my brain it had to have happened no listen this there was a time in my life where i i was it was like before puberty really there's like a time where you're like getting a little curious about pooping and peeing i once pooped profusely in a bucket in my garage and then one time yeah i mean you get the point i don't know if i do get the point like one time
Starting point is 01:17:15 me and my buddy were just like running around naked in the bathroom yeah like i just feel like there's a time where you're like curious curious about the things that are taboo but not in a sexual way yeah and uh what was the question i oh i'm kind of mixed on this angus has a story he said one time his friend said this like one cool person was like coming over one time and she just dumped her entire thing of sea monkeys in the toilet and flushed them because like apparently one time her friend said sea monkeys were like weird or something she really wanted to impress this like other girl right so she just dumped all the sea monkeys in toilet wait are those living animals yeah they're like living organisms google sea monkeys
Starting point is 01:18:07 yeah you ever seen these i was picturing those like monkeys that all hook together i think those are i think that's like it they're like these things was so worried yeah he did yeah she was so scared that she was gonna think she was lame for having to see monkeys so she just dumped him on the toilet like five minutes yeah i mean listen we've all i guess i'm thinking about this i should be thinking about this from your perspective but i'm thinking about this from like the parents perspective like i'm just so worried i forget i forgot how like weird we all were when we're kids and i'm just like i don't know if i'm equipped if i'll ever be equipped to deal with having a child because i think if they told me
Starting point is 01:18:53 they they're them and their friend pissed under their bed i wouldn't be able to like look at them the same yeah i think i don't know i think it's gonna happen the good news is it wasn't a sin so heaven i yeah i think you're so multiple as a child like you're always being told like what's right and wrong that like i feel like a lot of times kids always were like oh yeah i do this all the time and i'd be like all right cool yeah and you want to be cool and i want to be cool have you seen the mom who found her son's piss drawer is that real have you seen this picture no pull up found my son's piss drawer is it on reddit it'll just be on like google my I, someone in my life had a drawer full of the dead skin from their feet.
Starting point is 01:19:35 She found it and he's in his Batman costume crime. Wait, what? She had a drawer full of the skin on her feet? Like, you know, the skin that like peels off your feet. Yeah. I know someone that collected that. Have you ever seen those videos of people who like, they have like daily contacts? I can't look at this.
Starting point is 01:19:52 Sorry, I'm going to throw up. It's like red. Yeah. They have like daily contacts. And so like before they go to bed, they take them out and they just put them behind their bed or whatever. and there will just be like hundreds of contacts like behind their bed i have one i'm not proud of when i was a kid i would sit on the couch and i'd watch family and i'd pick my nose and i'd wipe it on the part of the couch that was like up against the wall
Starting point is 01:20:17 never thinking there was a world we might move and my mom said when she moved this i think she they were either mounting a painting or like for some reason they had to move the couch she was like it was more booger than couch that was the name of my memoir more booger than couch yeah technically all humans are more booger than couch yeah not all furniture though um all right i have an interesting uh i have an interesting this guy rocks scenario okay am i allowed to do two because i'm noticing this thing that is happening seemingly on two opposite sides of the world and i got these videos within five minutes of each other and i've gotten more like this and i'm curious if other
Starting point is 01:21:13 people are seeing this and if this is a thing we need to be worried about that's it i just am i like i've been seeing this happen a lot so these are both going to require it's not going to make sense without the visual so any visual any audio listeners i'm going to need you to pull over and just watch these two videos so play these in oh fuck me duke play these in any order you'd like one is a police officer one is a suspect okay and they both fell victim to the same thing okay so this is a suspect trying to get away and he something unfortunate happened to him so for the audio listeners it's a suspect
Starting point is 01:22:11 trying to get away and his pants when he was hopping the fence his pants got snagged his look right there he's like oh no he saw the camera and then now play the second one oh my god
Starting point is 01:22:28 this is a policeman who the exact same thing That can't be real. There's no way. And he had tighty-whities. He's got, like, the fart thing on. Hey, Willie, he has a...
Starting point is 01:22:53 What's the thing called? Oh, I forgot to follow up on that survey. He has the thing on. Yeah. This, do you think they put you on like probation? They're like, we can't have you out in the field anymore. I think, yeah, I mean, I don't think you'd, I don't think you'd live to see another day by your own, at your own hands.
Starting point is 01:23:13 Oh my God. You said it's not real, but who would voluntarily do this? Wait, I don't understand. I don't understand the idea of it being fake. I don't think it's just like two. There's just no way. The guy was like, all right, we're going to put on cop uniforms and then I'm going to suspend myself.
Starting point is 01:23:26 It's like a TV show or something. what is it what does the caption say it says thv tonight thv took a turn in the audit took a took a turn in the audience as he watched gracie abrams and doja cat before i think yeah i slop all right where's the video i'm looking for sorry i love that he's reaching for his like no he's firing in his pants shooting at people trying to film he shoots his pants off to free himself i'd rather die than then get back up tell me what oh my god i'd rather just the guy filming him and just hysterically laughing oh if you're the cop you have you have to shoot the guy who's laughing at you 100 that's justified use of force
Starting point is 01:24:12 you've been watering the plant with beer i mean like beer is basically water am i right It smells rancid Oh yeah, I've been peeing in it too You've been pissing in the plant? You've been watering the plant with beer? i mean like beep okay a couple things here this is the eighth episode of season one i don't know i haven't finished four dudes season one episode eight yes um do you think there's anyone who sees what we are making and perceives it like this feels like how that felt for us
Starting point is 01:25:14 here's what i'll say about this it's one guy right no i think it's through i think it is i think he shaves his mustache and puts a hat on play it running back like the end here's basically water am i right hey wait what is that the same guy yeah wait i think he must have shot the whole season in different it smells rancid oh yeah i've been peeing in it too whoa kind of impressive now you've been pissing in the plant yeah you're right it's totally the same four different outfits and then he shot the must have shot the whole season oh my god season oh my season two is gonna be a nightmare pretty cool right um i wish that guy nothing but the best that we just hired him i on it i wouldn't be shocked
Starting point is 01:26:11 all right this is the guy that he this is the guy who's fucking hanging out in my office when we're gone he's got in your chair um all right drafts drafts or no teach me something i don't have one but i got you i got one have you ever heard of uh you ever heard of the time we used pigeons to do like uh seeking missiles in like the war pigeon seeking missiles no it was missiles that ship seeking missiles but the the tracking agent was like a pigeon no they trained pigeons to like peck on a spot and like they'd get rewarded for like pecking on this spot and then they'd put three pigeons in a missile and they'd peck on the ship and like the reason they had three was to like take out like error like if one was like wait i'm sorry what it would like peck
Starting point is 01:27:05 on the like view i'm explaining look up like pigeon tracking missile and they'd peck on the ship and it would guide the missile towards like the aircraft carrier of our enemy it was fucking wild the pigeon tracking missile refers to project pigeon later project oregon a world like they had like a screen in the thing and they'd like peck it was fucking wild yeah look at that they were in that thing and they so what are they what are they pecking it's like a it would be like a little mini screen for them and they'd peck and it would pop up where the ships were and then they would peck on it they'd peck on it and it would like if the screen could show the ships why couldn't it just i don't know sorry i think screen is the wrong like it's like a little window thing and
Starting point is 01:27:53 They would just guide it towards the... Got it. Isn't that bizarre? Yeah. Also, I feel kind of bad. Oh, I see. So, like, the missile's following the ship. It's following where the...
Starting point is 01:28:07 So, if the missile's facing here and the ship's over here, the pigeon would, like, pack where the ship is and it would, like, steer it back towards that. Oh, I see. Okay. Interesting. Isn't that bizarre? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:28:19 I don't feel bad. What happens to the pigeon? pigeons were fucking heroes yeah what happens to the pigeon when the missile hits the aircraft i think they die what i think they explode into smithereens what imagine they spent like half the project figuring out how to get the pigeons out of there alive all right should we do daily games that don't exist or jimmy buffett songs that don't exist you pick these are daily games that don't exist the million all every day there's a random number from one to a million you get one guess could you imagine the day you got the million all that's
Starting point is 01:28:58 what i'm saying one guess just try give it a shot i like that awesome ankle it shows the ankle of a celebrity you have six guesses and it'll tell you if you get like their profession right so it'll be like actor athlete whatever it'll tell you that their ethnicity gender whatever you have six guesses to guess who it is i love that uh birthdoll it shows you a guy and you try to guess his birthday nice and then it gets you hotter or colder and there's you know different little fat it'll tell you like the um whether you got the right zodiac sign that's fantastic i love that a lot uh beetle you have three guesses to guess john paul george or ringo and it doesn't give you hints and you only get three guesses so it's just like it's pretty bad yeah you got just get closer yeah
Starting point is 01:29:48 wait so if you guess so all right sorry beetle you have three guesses to guess either john paul george or ringo and there are no hints after so there's got it you got a 25 chance of not getting it you gotta figure it out i like that a lot thank you uh that i only had two of them couple six guesses to correctly identify the celebrity couple based on what movies or tv shows they've been in songs they've written sports teams they've played for so you could like guess a guy like if you if if it's if it's patrick mahomes and whatever yeah and you guess like travis kelsey and taylor swift it would be like he is on the chiefs got it do you know okay what about this death hole uh it shows you a guy and you guess how he died and it tells
Starting point is 01:30:36 you how close you are out of 10 one day it's you yeah you're like arson and then you're like doing the death hole it's like all right you do jimmy buffett songs that don't exist yeah i'm very excited about this these are more jimmy buffett songs that don't exist i got a good hat for this yeah piña collision okay it's about having too many piña coladas at the bar and he crashes his bike on the way home love it uh tropical topical this is about a guy who tries to invent a cream that gives him the feeling of being on vacation in the bahamas that's fantastic uh skiing in florida it's about a guy at a bar in key west offering him drugs and he does it and in the morning he's regretting it and paying the price yep uh how much is it eighty dollars
Starting point is 01:31:28 wow uh yeah plastic palm tree it says listen if i can't be in florida by a real one just put me next to a plastic palm tree i like that save me mary it's about waking up in horrible condition and praying that a bloody mary will cure your hangover i like that a lot thank you hanging by the beach hanging with my friends drinking a big drink and that's what we do all the time because we're jimmy buffett mode everybody loves it having a cocktail by the sea now that that would be a hit all right uh and the melody is like um all right i actually have two oh you got two songs of the day songs of the day and for the record
Starting point is 01:32:21 I still have been adding songs to that playlist just I haven't been announcing them okay somehow I'd never heard Mind Games
Starting point is 01:32:27 by John Lennon I don't know that song it's awesome so that's one of them and then The Sun Will Never Settle by Kingfisher
