Starting point is 00:00:00 all right we're going play date play date episode 240 and i have right 237 uh no which of course is i know hit me javid best pull up shot show me chavi best javid i thought it was like x a v i 44 close all right that counts enough all right all right i i had this hasn't happened to me in a long time this reminded me of like early play date where i had a story that i just i almost called you right after it happened but i was like you know what i'm gonna save it okay and it was if you know anything about me this is this is this is what i do it for can i can i guess yes my guess is you had a normal interaction buying something but you hesitated for a half second close and it was the craziest it involves it involves my other my it
Starting point is 00:01:01 involves my favorite type of guy to interact with down syndrome homeless got it close so i oh god bad people i did a full no i meant close in like down center was my second not close not i know what you meant i just don't think it's funny but also i get the second it left my mouth i get how that could be misunderstood i don't think they're close obviously um some of them are some of them are close some of them are definitely close on both ends sure yeah so i did a full closet clean out i was like enough of this i think i might have talked about this already but you know how there are things where you're like i've never worn that i have no plans to wear it but for some reason i can't get rid of it i was like enough i'm gonna
Starting point is 00:01:54 get rid of it i'm down to just the essentials in my closet it looks goaded we'll put a picture of right here so i have this whole huge suitcase of clothes that i'm going to bring to goodwill and i bring it and the one in santa monica is an outdoor drop-off and so a lot of the homeless people hang out by the drop-off place i think to do exactly what they did to me where when i'm bringing it up one of them was like excuse me could i just have the suitcase and i was like perfect let's cut out the middleman love it yeah and so i give it to them it's her and another it's her and a man and they are like just like way more excited than you'd think like it's warm out that it doesn't seem like they need any more clothes as of right now but they're like stoked
Starting point is 00:02:37 and they're like score so they grab it's an old golf case travel bag she rips it open and i was like oh this is sweet like they get like clean you know nice new they start humping them no no my jeans sorry it would have been the most action my jeans have gotten in a long time but so they close they open it up and they just start throwing the clothes everywhere like all over the place like they were just playing with the clothes and the guy at goodwill gave me a look like you see do you see why you bring it to me first like they were going fucking haywire ski jackets the size of cars flying i mean it was it was what were they doing a party dude that's
Starting point is 00:03:32 like their party they were having a closed party no i think their parties involved other stuff too but they were yeah they were having a closed party they one of the guys ripped out an old ski jacket and was like oh and threw it up in the air and i was like what the fuck is going on right now there there were i mean there were probably a hundred items of clothing in this bag i don't think they put one on just started do you think they were looking for something they were if they were they were not looking very they just wanted to go nuts with a bunch of clothes when they said score it kind of occurred to me like i think this was their plan all along because they said it like finally like that we have what we need for the clothes party it was mind it's like their beer
Starting point is 00:04:16 i think it was yeah it was like their cores party like you gave them a 12 pack you gave them like a 30 rack you know and what's the uh a bronx tale they go in and and uh they order beers the motorcycle gang and then they start spraying it on the bartender like they don't even drink them no it was kind of like yeah it was like at least what put it on humor me a little bit and put it on yeah at least at least find out it doesn't fit it was like it was one of those ones where i sat in my car and i watched it for like 10 seconds yeah before i was like this is gonna make me because there was stuff in there i was like i hope this goes to the right this goes to a like this someone's gonna get a kick out of this shirt like they're like oh they're like fucking od'ing
Starting point is 00:04:57 on clothes it's just like yeah od'ing on clothes is just like a heat stroke yeah you have instead of narcan you have to go give them um jeans it's still jeans for some reason it's the opposite of clothes like a seam ripper yeah they go and like cut the clothes off yeah um it was i feel like wait i think the opposite of clothes is ass yeah you have to like just squat just show them sit on their face yeah um it was i feel like i have to sit on their face yeah i feel like we see some crazy stuff out here and you're like i kind of get where they were coming from yeah like if you see a guy going like nuts in the park you're like i could see how i would get there like if i if i was homeless for long enough and whatever was on some like crazy drug i could see how i'd be like
Starting point is 00:05:44 cartwheeling through the park but like the clothes party to me was mind-boggling i had never been i never had less of a grasp on what two people were doing in my life and the okay important context i had almost made it to the band and the goodwill guy like had come down and was like ready to receive it and when i gave it to them was like so i was like is this a thing that he like do you think he immediately was like they're gonna have a fucking clothes party probably and he probably just has to wait out the clothes party and then go and scoops up all the clothes after it's like when uh it's like the guy who has to get the hats off the rink when someone gets a hat trick he's like i'm happy they're having fun but this is kind of this is gonna be annoying yeah and then
Starting point is 00:06:25 it's like ovechkin's there i didn't even know who to call who would you call why would you call someone like no like to tell in my life clothes party like oh like if i called my dad and told him that it would just he'd be like you gotta get out of california yeah he would just he would just be like this is exactly what i've been telling you dude i have all your tax dollars going to clothes parties yeah i i have a a friend that was visiting and staying in an airbnb in venice and he texted me that a homeless person just walked in and refused to leave and he had to call the cops and 10 armed police officers had to come take her out and he's like how do you he lives in florida he's like how do you live here i was like fuck day one like that's never
Starting point is 00:07:10 happened to me but like if that happened that that's like so on brand i mean that'd be like if i that'd be like if i i went to texas and i got lassoed day one you know i'd be like how do you live like this you get you send him a picture of you there's like a a longhorn through your chest yeah you got speared exactly yeah the i will say and i've said this before the the homeless people in florida there is a little bit of there's a little bit of decorum excuse you oh you're talking to me yeah decorum yeah no yeah i mean it's listen it's living in venice you know what you're getting into a little bit but that is probably the worst thing i've heard happen to when i was at when i was at rollins i think i've told you about this guy there was a
Starting point is 00:07:54 the homeless guy named carl that would play the saxophone i'll tell you about him and one day he was just gone and we were like oh maybe like moved on to greener pastures or whatever but i never saw him again and my one of my last memories of him was i woke up and i checked my i was on my couch and i checked my phone and there was uh you know when there's a all the notifications are like andrew nelson laughed at an image will denell and laughed at an image and it's like everyone in the group chat you're like okay i really hope this isn't an image of me it was uh we had come out of the bar and uh it was carl it was carl licking my face and i i didn't own any face wash i was just i was well you didn't need it anymore yeah i didn't need it but i there was a part was
Starting point is 00:08:46 like i've seen him yeah do horrible things there's a chance my face is like off well it's better than he i'd rather lick your face and lick your ass that's true silver lining i'd rather have him lick my face than my ass hole i'd probably pick cheek over like ass cheek over face cheek okay yeah that's actually fast cheeks kind of impersonal and it's like it's already dirty can i say something please uh get me out first of all saxophonist who couldn't find a home not homeless guy play the saxophone but that's fine unhoused wind instrument uh uh second of all speaking of faces i i think i told both you guys this but i this whole i've like thought i had like this like nuclear herpes outbreak this was the best phone call you've given
Starting point is 00:09:32 me in a long time i thought i've been dealing with this stuff on my face it's been like really fucking with me i thought it was like a cold sore gone crazy and i had like a bunch of cold sores i was like looking up like what's the worst a herpes outbreak can be on your face finally i thursday night i like wake up twice in the middle of the night because my face like hurts and itches but i'm not supposed to touch it was a nightmare so i go to the doctor urgent care first thing friday morning and the lady's like comes in she's like oh what's wrong i was like super herpes that is not herpes you have a bacterial infection in your face uh so i now can officially say i'm the first guy to not have herpes and tell everyone he has herpes i was trying to de-stigmatize it
Starting point is 00:10:17 it was we had this heart-to-heart about like we need to speak up about this like people are dealing with super herpes it's real it's out there you might be the first guy to ever have to retract told everyone he hasn't as yeah i mean his account is an std on the face feels like it does yeah when you when you told me that over the phone i told will i was like i just assumed that he had had a medical professional tell you tell him like you have herpes that is what's on your face before you went on like a podcast and talking about like a press tour yeah you were like raising awareness for super herpes the fact that you had just with no no professional advice declared that you had herpes is mind-boggling to me it's something i would probably do too well the thing
Starting point is 00:11:06 is i have had but now i'm like maybe i've just gotten a bunch of bacterial infections i thought i've i've self-diagnosed that i've gotten a cold sore in the past i've had like three in my life so i thought like i don't know whatever moral of the story is we need to re-stigmatize herpes no i stand by what i did i'm a torchbearer of the herpes community i'm an ally to the nth degree you're like that who's that girl that uh faked being black and wrote like a book about it and like wrote about her struggle or whatever you did that morrison no yeah i was thinking who's just like a like one of the greatest black female writers of all time who's that you know who i'm talking about she was in like the naacp yeah and it came out that she wasn't clayton bigsby
Starting point is 00:11:49 rachel dolezal rachel dolezal um you should you guys should go at some point flip through her book the chapter names are the funniest thing in the world it was like um going to africa in parentheses in my mind like she's like a fucking crazy person but you did that for herpes you you you claimed you claimed herpes without i just hope the herp the people with herpes don't now reject me and yeah wait go click on the like if we can get our hands on the table of context early life and upbringing you read her book no someone else this is like this is like deep ball knowledge yeah this is deep this is like something i saw someone else talking about it it was cracking uh okay escaping to africa in princess in my head emancipation like all these crazy
Starting point is 00:12:45 ones and she it just never happened do you think she thought she was black and was mistaken like do you think it was similar to what happened with your herpes where like she just figured i must be black or you know i can only speak from my experience right and what i will say is it sneaks up on you it sneaks you you it's like a self-feeding if you think you have something you can google yourself into just validating yes the funniest thing was thursday night i ended up getting my official diagnosis oh and by the way i got prescribed antibiotics and it's like 89 i sat next to you at a table today and you that side of your face was on the same side as me yeah like he figured
Starting point is 00:13:31 that out you called me on saturday yeah i mean i you know i got i got the drugs on friday and i've been taking them for three four days now and it's completely gone almost completely gone it will be oh my god do you feel like you have a new lease on life i feel like so good i feel like a man with a with a million miles to go and um anyway yeah so go to the doctor i would say is my big takeaway right i think partly partly i was part of fully i was scared too because i haven't been to the doctor in la we get a part of fully invite to will's will's herpy herpy free i'm in remission yeah i'm having a remission party this weekend uh you should do that fuck no duds i'm gone this week i don't want to tell more people that i don't have herpy i
Starting point is 00:14:22 guess that's fine now just the 50 000 oh this is also funny this is what's also funny about my thing is like she's like she's like yeah it's uh it's like called like it's called like impedigo it's like the name of what i had and she's like yeah it's actually really common in kids and i was like and she's like and grown-ups and i look at big boys i look up after i'm like what causes it and it's like uh daycares and team sports i'm like these are just things kids do and like it's like rubbing your face on the carp on the reading carpet literally i got like a baby ass disease i called my mom i texted my mom i was like this is what it was she goes oh i think kids get that when they eat dirt fucking hell damn we didn't any mud pies recently it's not that i'm
Starting point is 00:15:12 want to talk about i got a i got a similar thing on my ass when i was a kid really yeah and a mud pie or i'm not joking no no like what was on you at the time i couldn't be like that looks like what i had that looks like what i had on my ass when i was in like second grade but my poor babysitter had to put like ointment on my butt god i know how poor is she i mean not you made the rich babysitter do it yeah i think yeah she was like middle class well i'm now on a mission to de-stigmatize as adult who get baby ass diseases
Starting point is 00:15:44 so for anyone out there who's dealing with maybe hand foot and mouth disease or perhaps what else do babies get colic colic
Starting point is 00:15:57 is that a disease isn't that like what babies are like chicken pox pull up colic did I make that up baby colic you're thinking of college
Starting point is 00:16:05 when a healthy baby cries hard and loud for more than three hours a day three days a week seems just like baby right
Starting point is 00:16:11 for at least three weeks like it's like when they they crawl after three months you're like this just seems okay if you're if you cry hard and loud for more than three weeks at a time or three hours in a day sensitive ass is colic i see you you be screaming collard green oh my god imagine being colic as an adult is that just being depressed um um i yeah i think that's just uh i think that's uh wait ready i think um i think that's just being a mets fan dude i okay we can't nine out of nine out of our last 12 suck it i went one yeah okay oh the red socks are on a heater as well yeah i'm jealous yeah um so my grandparents had a party on their street on saturday sunday and uh so we go down
Starting point is 00:17:05 wait you were there yeah oh the one's here the one's here was was not told about a theme so i show up in what i'm wearing except these are these are shorts instead of pants okay picture it yes okay so wearing normal outfit my cousin's wearing a normal outfit uh my grandfather is oddly tropical but that has happened enough that like okay i'm picturing it's not worth bringing up yeah that he's in a hawaiian and like we said he looks cuban he's super italian and we were like you could pass for cuban right now because he had a straw hat on and a thing whatever we were like he is really going for it it turns out it was like coastal the theme was coastal cowboy and so we showed up and like everyone else is in boots and jeans and cowboy hats and i look like a fucking
Starting point is 00:17:54 idiot in my paddington sweater and uh and then people were lying people were square dancing people were line dancing it was awesome so whose fault was it your grandparents fault they didn't tell you or you didn't read like the invite or something they didn't tell me okay they didn't tell me um do you call them like you call them some like a mean name or something to kind of yeah of course shuffle their feathers in a row yeah buddy um but yeah that's kind of what i got up to i got something funny hit me it's something that just literally just happened like an hour ago jack and i sorry rusty is his real name is jack andrew um actually it's like not i've discovered that yeah it's like we're like three lines the problem is like the strategy is to
Starting point is 00:18:37 create so many layers between the real you and anyone you meet that no one can ever hurt the real you yeah no one will ever know your real name is preen dis it's too close to penis okay you know jack's name is prindis clint no wonder he goes by john kelly uh anyway jack and i had we had a meeting in hollywood today and uh at the end it was like uh it was like a you know we were excited about the meeting and uh went great and then on the way out it was the first time meeting these people so it was like you know on the way out there's two options basically they're they're both women so it's going to be a handshake or a hug i was leaning handshake uh but i was it was you know you ever
Starting point is 00:19:26 in that moment where you're like that's all you're thinking about you're like trying to read body language like what am i supposed to do i was about in my defense before he even says anything i took initiative no one was making a fucking move we were standing there for like 45 seconds just plain grab ass and someone had to make a fucking move to get us out of this building continue and he went for the fist bump he added a third option in a professional meeting like a nice office it was like it was like uh it was crazy and he just goes all right and does two fist bumps and i'm like well now if i go for the handshake i'm like greeting him yeah i'm making him look like an idiot you're kind of making him look like the bad boy of the group
Starting point is 00:20:09 Either way I'm coming out of it scathed So I went with the Oh we're doing fist bumps Cause I was like let's call attention to it And then he was like Ah yeah I don't know I forgot what you said And so then I did fist bumps and we all kind of laughed about how we were doing it
Starting point is 00:20:25 And I think it was great And I think it was quirky and fun And I think it made a memory that will last a lifetime I got in my car So Will and I drove separately I got in my car and I'm not joking I screamed fuck at the top of my car like i they're watching it like the cameras dude i have been no i waited until i got out of the
Starting point is 00:20:46 parking lot because yeah because you buzzed into their gate whatever i was like if this receptionist sees me lose my cool here i'm i'm toast i have been fucking up so many social interactions just on a daily basis i'm walking around i'm walking around with the anxiety of a guy who like just got back from war 27 27 wait what 27 percent of the time i think i meant to say 24 7 there we go again there i go again i literally can't even get through it what do you what i i in my car war yeah i am walking around i have been so anxious lately about these social interactions and i don't think anyone knows that one people definitely noticed but some of these ones i am like talking myself off the ledge where i'm like how do you fuck that up so badly the fist bump is crazy
Starting point is 00:21:36 the fist bump it was so it was so funny because i'm one of the normal it was just funny in my head i go like handshake hug handshake hug because the other one that we the one of the people in the meeting we had met before and when we came in we hugged and i've hugged her three times before i hugged her the first time i met her after we left and then before this meeting started but there was a new person that's what threw me off i didn't know how to approach it with the new bless you with the new person that sounded like you might you might have crapped your jeans there i trust me i'm a pro so anyway he really walks the line will denown flirts with shooting himself multiple times with it but i just i think what i need to do going forward is just just hold my tongue and
Starting point is 00:22:17 just let let other people lead the way sometimes when when there's a when there's like a break in conversation or something yeah i'm like let's just get out of this and do it and i fucking panicked i went for the fist bump it could have been worse it could have been worse i was thinking about this high five would have been worse that's true dap would have been dap would have been worse like i think what threw me off is my grandfather like people started fist bumping in the last like five years and it's become like a it's like almost as formal as the handshake now in what world In Maine, people are doing this. Really?
Starting point is 00:22:54 Yeah. I don't get out enough when I'm up there. Like, I feel like my dad and his friends adopted the fist bump, so I was like, maybe that's what, like, adults are doing now. Your dad's adopted? Or your dad's friend's adopted? Or wait. Your dad's adopted friend does the fist bump?
Starting point is 00:23:09 Saying, introducing your buddy. This is my adopted friend, Will. What? So, I don't know what is going on. Listen, I actually think it ended up being, like, awesome and funny. yeah we played it off well but i was it was just so funny in my head it's like which which of these two options and then i was like oh wild card he's going nuts yeah you did bail me out because i did it and both of them were like
Starting point is 00:23:34 perplexed that i went for the fist bump and then will made it into a funny thing but yeah if i was alone there oh my god i think it no it was good it was good it genuinely became like funny and memorable in like a funny way okay i think it worked with like our dynamic yeah it was one of those ones where i just oh my god the fucking tipping thing happened again on sunday i don't know but i think my card i think i have like a long range credit card like it's like picking up the tap to pay thing when i'm like four feet away it was paying the tab of the guy in front of you in line this is why'd i get the long range chip like this staff curry like a good idea mx's um this one was even worse dude so i'm at this new fucking sandwich place that i'm stoked
Starting point is 00:24:25 about now fucking shithole i don't even know if i can go back what's it called i don't even i'll tell you guys but actually no it's already popular jackson market it's delicious they give you a piece of paper with all the ingredients they have you write your name on it and you check all the things you want on your sandwich and then you hand it to them perfect cuts out the middleman but so i get my sandwich i get my chips i have my poppy and i put them on the counter and the total comes up and i'm not joking my hand my my card is like fucking six inches away from this thing like it should not have been yeah able to go through and it pays before i hit the tip thing and so i tell the guy because i was like i'm not fucking doing this again yeah like i'm standing up for
Starting point is 00:25:09 so i said to the guy excuse me it uh it went through before i could tip and so he then exit out exits out of it and then clicks i think there was a language barrier click skip on i think he i think he thought i was saying i accidentally tipped and so he voids the transaction and starts again and then skips the tip thing at this point there are like eight people behind me also ready to pay for their that is worse and so i told him no i wanted to tip you and it skipped and he was like and fucking goes back again and then i the highest option was like fucking 18 so it was like i did all that for fucking you could have done custom you should have you should have you had at that point you have to give him like a thousand million dollars i'll just like give him the keys
Starting point is 00:25:58 to my car yeah it was i couldn't believe it i was like how does this keep happening my card was in my left hand you gotta keep that thing in like a case or something it's like a gun you gotta like it's in like a holster yeah you know like dad's like two people have to put their hands on the button yeah it's the football my dad used to have a holster for his blackberry yeah it's like how quickly do you need to answer the phone a quick draw thing i like do you ever play brick breaker yeah dude it was fucking sick until they switch away from the ball you remember when the black had a ball you could roll your finger over yeah at one point they switched to the to the screen that was ass not a fan yeah that just reminded me so my mom got rid i was thinking about when
Starting point is 00:26:43 my mom had that blackberry we used to live in this house on salem on nine ledgewood lane and we used to always be like there's something is not right with this house like it felt spooky whatever but we moved out before i was like old enough to really clock i guess what was going on and so i'm driving home from my grandparents shut the fuck driving home from my grandparents with my sister and we're just talking about things then the house comes up and she was like and i said there was something weird about that house she was like yeah i know that house was haunted i was like yeah it felt like that and she was like no that house was like actually haunted and I was like what are you talking about she goes my mom I told my sister
Starting point is 00:27:31 apparently went to my mom and was like there is this old woman in my dreams that screams at me to get out of our get out of her house and my mom was like what and she was like yeah she said she like wants us to get out of the house or whatever and unbeknownst to my sister the my parents bought it front there was this elderly couple and the husband had decided that they were getting to the age where they needed to move into a home and she didn't want to go and so my my parents just bought it from the guy and the woman was like pissed apparently and my mom got so freaked out that like that was the woman that she hired this person to come and like fucking sage the house or whatever like a spiritual person my mom's a little like wacky and uh there was this chair that was
Starting point is 00:28:20 at the top of our um staircase and my my mom said my sister told me that the uh spiritual person or whatever said that there's an evil spirit that sits in that chair and i was like huh my buddy garrett alexander shout out garrett alexander when we were little kids it's a true story we were having a sleepover got up out of his bed and threw him down the threw himself down those stairs in the middle of the night and we were just like garrett was sleepwalking but now i'm like did that fucking ghost throw garrett down the stairs and this is a this is just a normal thing we're like remember when garrett threw himself down the stairs what he i think the story was like there the way we rationalize it was like garrett was sleepwalking and and he knew the route in his
Starting point is 00:29:09 house but didn't in ours and so he like took a right and fell down the stairs but we were like What if it was that creepy lady That's kind of cool Yeah it is funny that that was a That's a thing that Garrett did And I see him all the time And it doesn't come up like Remember when you threw yourself down the stairs
Starting point is 00:29:27 Yeah I mean were you like being like a nightmare hang You were like kept tapping him You sleeping well buddy Oh my god I have a soccer game tomorrow What did you say He was like I have a soccer game tomorrow he is such a bad such a bad sleepover partner that your friend throws himself down the stairs
Starting point is 00:29:48 he threw up one time i mean he what he didn't do well with sleepovers for a while yeah it sounds like oh for two from whatever he came to sleep at my grandparents house one time and we were in like kindergarten my grandma was like it was the cutest thing in the world he just was he just loved his mom so much he couldn't bear the thought of being away from her and he got so nervous about not being with his mom that he threw up. Starting point is 00:32:36 cold and frothy crack open a mug vanilla howler find mug vanilla howler at your local store or head to www.mugrootbeer.com slash find dash mug to find out how you can get your paws on some mug and be sure to throw them a follow online at mugrootbeer let's get back into the episode i remember when i i went to camp grandy for the first time that's what we called every summer i would spend two weeks with my grandma in ohio that's sweet and uh yeah it was dope uh and what the first time i went we were my family we were meeting her in washington dc we had like a family trip and then she was gonna drive me from there back to cincinnati with her for like two weeks and i remember she like i hit that was when i had my black eye i think i've shared that picture
Starting point is 00:33:21 was picturing me at the white house and i my whole face is black uh i did blackface at the white house um but anyway we my parents dropped me off with granny and i just immediately just was like sobbing nauseous like that like pit feeling in my stomach and she took me to cheesecake factory and uh it kind of solved it after like an hour at cheesecake factory i was like i'm good she was like seriously yeah i'm good now and uh that was the let's just say not a lot of good experiences at cheesecake factory so yeah if you look through our like old family photos i had i have a black eye from like the majority of my time between like three and eight yeah and my parents were like yeah it was a nightmare like it always looked like they were beating they were like yeah
Starting point is 00:34:13 it was like everywhere we went you had a black eye and it just like raised so many questions i was like how did i always have one and they said on multiple occasions i tried to i was really in a spider man i kept trying to jump from the toilet to the counter and just like every single time hit my eye on the corner of the oh thing and they were like it was it had gotten to the point where where they were shocked it hadn't like poked my eye out they're like the same corner yeah the corner like a a that's like not even like a blunt object that's like sharp get it out of my head get it out of my head when i during that same spider-man that spider-man summer came to a close and uh we were we had a uh
Starting point is 00:35:00 a camp like up in maine on this pond called songo pond we had a water trampoline you remember those like blue and yellow we had one of those it was the fucking cat's pajamas and the problem is you have to to get it out for the season someone has to like go down and like unhook it whatever so we go out it was like october in maine it was very very cold and i can't remember if that was we had taken it out that day and we were maybe taking a final like boat ride and i kept honking the horn and uh and my dad was like if you honk that again i'm gonna throw you in the water and i was in like wind pant i was in like a track suit for some reason like not good like swimming uh attire and it was almost pitch black and i honked it one more time and i think like out of principle
Starting point is 00:35:48 you have to do you have to throw them in yeah or else they're not gonna learn they'll never believe you and he threw me in and i know there's no truth to this but my mind convinced me that there was a dragon under me that was gonna bite me it was that's happened that was happening that's Yeah, that's right. And Songopan, that's happened. Really? Yeah. Songopan dragon.
Starting point is 00:36:10 And I think I didn't go in for like two more summers. There were a couple. I think he said there was more time where I was afraid to go in than I wasn't. He skipped me. We were tubing one time. Wait, where is Songopan again? Bethel, Maine. Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Is it near Loch Ness by any chance? he we were tubing and uh we had the hand signals as most tubing families do which is like literally that was this was this was like was like you can't you can't shake me so it was like faster slower and then when it was like this is boring like yeah you like it was basically like a ton like tubing on a boat yeah yeah you'd be like you can't shake me and he was like i it was the fastest this boat could go and he just turned it all the way and i see said he skipped me like to the edge of the pond into like the weeds and he said for two summers i wouldn't i wouldn't get that one feels like it's on him one thousand he was he was like there was you left the tube and all the adults on
Starting point is 00:37:16 the boat were like this is gonna be a this is gonna be like a couple year thing that's terrible and that was that with the dragon was yeah that was pg or pd pre-dragon we watched we watched ronald reagan's funeral there i don't the only time i've ever seen my dad cry ronald reagan's funeral hey man i don't know what that says about him but yeah i let those tears trickle down you know like there's no president that i would cry at if they uh maybe he didn't cry maybe washington oh my god if he came back he came back and then died like no you were you were just you were just back who's i mean is there a man you don't know that you would cry at their televised funeral dobby i died when he died or cried at his funeral people do you see their uh
Starting point is 00:38:10 the harry potter fans like bullied some government into like read did you tell me that no but i read it they like redirected a fucking pipeline or something because it would overlap with dobby's grave how did they have do they have like how do they have so much lobbying power dobbying um the dobby lobby is huge i don't know have you ever met a harry potter fan bro you live you're talking all right i don't i just i guess it it makes sense i never want to be on the side of like the oil drilling people but like that feels like kind of interesting really he's not real yeah but then you're on the side of oil drilling right was it oil drill it was like a oil i think it was an internet it was like oh oh that's what it was it was the cables
Starting point is 00:38:53 like the huge underwater cables we're gonna disrupt dobby's grave underwater that's how they do there are physical cables connecting like us in europe no i know but dobby's graves aren't underwater it's like right on the beach yeah oh dobby has like an osama bin laden grave Yeah, Dobby Grave, Dobby Grave. Why was Dobby Grave Internet Cafe one of the- Successfully forced the rerouting of a $580 million undersea power cable to avoid destroying the fan-made memorial and grave of Dobby the house elf at Freshwater Beach in Pembroke, Sherry, Wales.
Starting point is 00:39:34 So how do they do it? They probably just go- Like, it probably isn't, like, they put the price there because that makes it sound like that's how much it affected. They probably just, like, moved it a foot to the right at that part, right? I don't think so. I think they really had to, like, go way out of the way. I mean, the grave is only, like, smaller than this couch. I mean, I cannot believe this is a real, I mean, it's a pile.
Starting point is 00:40:00 I'm on the side of, like, let's protect the grave, but, like, how do they do it? I just don't understand how they got so much. it's it's the uh cable that links the national grid to ireland so ireland would have like no internet i guess um i mean definitely couldn't have been a huge deal to just reroute it yeah how far like how far did they have to reroute it in the end we went quite close to some bronze age remains but we avoid dobby's great awesome okay so there there's a close they didn't do it though there is an actual no all this shit is fucking like trying to make it like the dobby people are bad but i'm like it's like it's one like just go like three feet to the left and
Starting point is 00:40:46 you're fine i don't think that's how i think that's how pipes work that's not i think the cable is probably like the size of this room it's like it is fucking huge the cables how thick are the internet cables andrew it's gotta be like as big as andrew width wise move it three feet to the left how thick are the internet cables are internet cables single hey oh you can't fuck internet cable oh god well okay so the guy was saying the the power grid guy was is saying that he got hundreds of calls from harry potter fans interesting so there was no like petition or anything hundreds hundreds feels like this guy didn't have a lot of it seems like this guy didn't wait wills that's what i'm saying yeah it couldn't have been that big of a deal if like a hundred was
Starting point is 00:41:39 like yeah it's fine it's fine yeah and then they're making it like okay i'm in i'm in what if they i mean would you rather have them hit bronze age remains or dobby's grave they're not hitting either so i refuse this this is the false sort of drama they're trying to stir up this is what the media does man it's not a big deal are monkeys still in their stone age yeah you remember that remember that was a thing like they start like for like a week they were like figuring out tools and then we kind of just stopped hearing about monkeys yeah well i heard that like there was one time this monkey was in a zoo and they brought him a birthday cake and yeah yeah and then like the other monkeys apparently in their culture it's like everybody
Starting point is 00:42:24 he has to get something so they started like rattling their cages they got out and they went for the um the zookeeper's face and his penis you have the story those are like it was the parents the parents penis and face the parents went for the zookeeper's penis the parents of the monkey or the parents like the the foster family foster parents the monkey of the monkey went for the zookeeper's penis and cock you know what's so funny hit me zookeeper's penis yeah getting zookeeper penis like your friend is like debrief like debriefing after like a big night out the zookeeper last night i slept with that zookeeper yeah what zookeeper i was talking to that zookeeper who's hung like a horse every time you you do one of these like getting zookeeper
Starting point is 00:43:13 penis i always go there's no way he will be able to talk himself out of this one and you always do you always find a way like i just i just think like you t up something like that like zookeeper penis and i'm like there's no way he's gonna find something funny to say about this one and then you always find a way this is like one of the funny there's probably two funniest words you can put together it's like imagine you're like hung over like debrief like yo how's your i was like dude i thought i got the zookeeper that zookeeper fucking cracked me oh my god yeah dude get that is that is one of those occupations where like you wouldn't be like i slept with that gas station attendant last night but like if you fucked a zookeeper like it would be how you
Starting point is 00:43:53 describe it yeah yeah it's like if you hooked up with like one of the mermaids from like the aquarium yeah it's like like uh i slept with the person who handles tilikum at sea world you know marty fish married a briefcase model from deal or no deal fish american tennis legend oh oh right right right right correct yeah everyone hands round of applause for marty fish man but yeah he married a briefcase model from deal or no deal no i think that's the coolest thing you could ever do you think at that level of fame like that's how like you're just watching tv and he could call his agent bro went 27 yeah do you think he called his agent was like get me this girl on the line no any other thoughts no just gonna shut it down yep just i'm yes knowing it i'm no and no not
Starting point is 00:44:37 no no and nothing no and no um i it's like when michael picked that that uh model from the death chair model yeah yeah yeah oh my god that um the actress from all the movies from our trials at best i don't know who that was but that's really what it's it's because we'll didn't have cable so all it was like i knew her from like i feel like disney channel stuff for like step it up wasn't she bridged to terabithia and stuff like that oh no i'm thinking about that you need to get it under control it's facing directly at me and there's a hole in your ass pointed right at me oh there's not a hole in your ass how are you farting dude is there actually a hole in these ones too every pair must be the way you're sitting like the way you sit puts a lot of
Starting point is 00:45:28 stress on your i didn't even know these ones had one don't finger it that's disgusting it must be no we're talking about this it there has to be something you're doing wrong like are you sitting wrong are you walking wrong like there's no the odds of all your pants having a hole in the exact location indicates that there's you're putting stress on that part of the pant and it's pissing me off man have you thought about maybe you guys are all doing it wrong you fucking stitch crotches maybe will's like so hung that he needs the extra room yeah maybe he's cutting them want to let a puppy breathe brother speaking of hung maybe your balls are so big speaking of stitch sacks speaking
Starting point is 00:46:16 of hung you've made a couple comments in the last week that suggests that you're working with a lot a penis i you we were talking about iuds the other day before the pod started with sean sean was in here and was explaining to andrew iuds and andrew slipped in this comment where he's he andrew said yeah but you're hitting it all the time if they have it i was like how deep are you going well sometimes you get cut by it i think everyone gets cut by the like bro i'm not even coming close it's in like another state i think the powers brothers told me this someone had a buddy that uh was convinced they got an std because their penis was like in their their urethra was inflamed and painful and it turns out he perfectly hit the iud and the iud went up his penis
Starting point is 00:47:04 all right we were having a good episode too and now i'm grossed the fuck out i called 9-1-1 for the first time this weekend really um yes my wallet was stolen no saturday night where at a bar um where i was with you saturday i know i know uh and uh we i ran into andrew at the beach with when we well i saw him at the gym yeah and then i ran into him at the beach and we were playing with our cranes yep and it's like an all-time like yeah it was it was a day it was a great weekend i will say yeah we pumped some iron we played with excavators on the beach yeah we built like a track do we oh my god we had so much fun oh my god yeah the the track was so much rc car that goes so fast oh and so we built like a track with like jumps and like bridges and stuff
Starting point is 00:47:50 in the sand no in the sand oh it has it's all off-roading yeah yeah i mean i don't think it's built for that but we're gonna get it it was it felt like like real life hot wheels in a way maybe um because you could just build the track however you wanted it with the sand it was like roller coaster tycoon uh and then we went out and we went to sunny mclean's and then gaslight mclean's i think it's mclean no andrew thoughts that was mclean but i mean it's it's written mclean yeah i just the mets pitcher they say mclean so i think that's why but anyway i think i say mclean because you got your wallet at the taco bell where'd it get stolen at taco bell which you spent all your money on taco bell and then you're like how so okay so i wake up sunday i
Starting point is 00:48:37 gotta go to this gig thing i'm like getting all my stuff together i was just shooting a parka i was shooting like a pool party thing uh you're shooting a pool party yeah yeah like i was getting like video and stuff oh nice video of it and um anyway so i'm like getting all my stuff i'm like wallet keys uh phone and i'm like where the fuck is my wallet and i have an air tag in it and i check it it's all the way up in like capoga canyon or something like that is that like is that like topanga yeah topanga area and i'm like fuck someone stole my fucking wallet or whatever but i had to go to this gig and i'm at this gig for like six hours or whatever and then on the way there i try to call the police department and i'm on hold for like super long time because i wanted a police
Starting point is 00:49:22 officer to like come with me right while i go to this guy's house to get my wallet back so i'm like he could have a gun like something like that you know so it's like i just need a police officer to company me i pay taxes and so i feel like they're civil servants or whatever um anyway so i'm on hold i can't reach them so i finally call 9-1-1 the guy's like a dick also like 9-1-1 is not as efficient of a system as i thought it was i've only called it once here and they didn't pick up yeah it was mad it's crazy i thought it was like 9-1-1 was immediately like you will get someone i had a great experience with it when i called it really elevator music yeah no i was on hold for like a while they were playing like ads in the middle of it and then finally the guy picked
Starting point is 00:50:07 up and he was like what and i was like oh hi uh yeah i was just wondering if i could have this police officer accompany me and uh he was like uh yeah i'll just forward you there um anyway no one picks up so i drive to the police station uh i got there five minutes after they closed so there's no police what if you were getting like raped i know that's what i'm saying that's insane like i don't know i don't even know another crime i was like why do i even pay taxes if i can't even have a civil servant accompany me trying to tell you well what are you trying to tell me i just i hate taxes oh yeah sorry we'll talk so i end up just showing up to the guy's house like just cold um and i knock on all the doors nobody answers the door um and then like i had this weird vision
Starting point is 00:50:56 all day that somebody had texted me in the middle of night and told me i left my wallet in their uber and uh so i opened the uber app and i go to the message history sure enough this guy's like hey man um you left your wallet in my uber last night uh let me know if you want it back that's awesome and i was like oh my god i can't believe i did all this stuff so anyway he brought it back today this morning before police officer there and he would be like what i was this uber yeah yeah literally i'm the only one trying to help him literally and so he brings back this morning and uh and i was like oh my god thank you so much like for your troubles and i pulled 20 out of my wallet and i gave it to him and he was like oh thank you so much uh and then i get back
Starting point is 00:51:38 up to my apartment and i look at the cash in my wallet and there was a second 20 missing and i was like oh he already tipped himself i think that's fine yeah take 40 honestly there's a there's a world where like if you forgot the that you left it there there's a world you maybe spent an extra 20 bucks that night a hundred percent yeah yeah a hundred percent but uh yeah i mean it was super easy but i guess i also paid him on lyft 20 bucks so he got like 60 in total nice that seems fair yeah but yeah i mean like i don't have to go get new ids and yeah 60 honestly seems probably the going rate yeah we had when i got my phone got stolen jack and i pulled up we told you that's all right you pulled up to the people we pulled up to the house cia guys and knocked
Starting point is 00:52:24 and like an old lady came out and she's like oh no i don't know anything about that and then we're still standing out there like maybe it's a different house and then like a cracked out lady ran out and was like oh i think it might be my boyfriend he's not here right now i think i know who did it yeah i think i might know who fucking did it yeah yeah and like clearly she was bugged out because like i think she was like at her mom's house who was the old lady and that lady probably went back and was like what the fuck is going on yeah and so she was like i was like i will give a hundred dollars cash no questions asked i just want i don't even think we ended up paying yeah i gave him a hundred bucks was that the guy didn't he have like paint he was
Starting point is 00:52:55 covered in paint he was covered up we were like we'll meet she was like i can't like i don't want him he's not gonna want to come back here he'll be scared so i was like all right we'll meet at this intersection i'll give him a hundred bucks he gives me the phone so we met and i handed him hundred bucks and he gave me the phone nice yeah he was covered in paint i got a new bed nice really is it covered in paint no uh no it's covered it's covered in wood and it i've wanted this type oh oh not the mattress i've wanted this bed forever but i couldn't find anyone that made it for like a reasonable price it's a 1970s bed from it's like the apparently like the danish people have like this specific type of bed where the headstay or the bedside tables are
Starting point is 00:53:38 built in to the headboard oh and then it's like long and wood it has these two like compartments at the end and it is the how do you even know about it i just saw it online i've been looking around but every time i found it it was like ten thousand dollars i'm not buying a fucking so you found like a good a different yeah found a good one on and the guys came and built it for me like in the in my house it was awesome it was fantastic i have no idea how i'm gonna get it out if i remove yeah that's what i was like it seems sometimes it's scary to like invest in something like that before i know like where i'm gonna live the rest of my life we're here for at least another year and obviously i thought you were trying to move no uh we told them we were gonna move and
Starting point is 00:54:18 they knocked our rent down i don't have a stay which is nice um but oh my god you guys gotta knock my walls down you guys you guys gotta come over and jump on it it's cash also i've been sleeping on a broken bed for like over a year and so i think this is gonna do wonders for my back now that it's like yeah it's like the taylor swift song i can do it with a broken bed jumping i didn't realize how bad a shape the bed frame was until i removed it it was like the fact that he was ever holding up a mattress is insane were you jumping on it uh i must have at some point because it was like it was blown to smithereen monkey shit up there i was probably doing like yeah i mean i was probably yeah it's probably going buck wild i mean the the back part
Starting point is 00:55:04 of it was just none of the screws were still on it was being held together by the middle i've i was gonna say i've had that in college it was destroyed my back like i was bringing i was embarrassed to be bringing it through there were zip ties i guess someone had zip tied part of it to keep it together carrying it down to the uh to the sidewalk to put it out was if anyone got the elevator i would have been humiliated it was it looked it looked like i was carrying uh it looked like i tried to build a bed frame myself failed from memory yeah uh but i'm stoked about this one Wait, I want you guys to see it. I toured Elvis' house from the 70s.
Starting point is 00:55:44 Graceland? Yeah. In Memphis? In Memphis, yeah, yeah, yeah. This weekend? No, like way back. But when Rusty was talking about the 70s bed, it made me think of it. And I remember seeing his bedroom, and he had all these mirrors on his ceiling.
Starting point is 00:55:59 And I remember thinking that was, like, super cool. And now I know it's for sex, yeah. Here's my thing. I don't want any mirrors. Wait, for sex? So, like, if she's, like, riding him, he can, like, see... He can see her. Her butt.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Because what's the worst part about getting ridden? Can't see their butt. Or so he can look at himself. She can ride you? I don't want any mirror... Like, whenever you hear about a guy's, like, sex tape getting leaked, I'm like, I will never have to worry about that because I just wouldn't want to watch it back, I don't think.
Starting point is 00:56:33 Like, I'm not doing any... I don't want to film it, bro. i'm not doing anything revolutionary that needs to be yeah if i was trying to come up with a new sex move i might you wouldn't want to watch yourself have sex are you fucking crazy no really i think i would dude i get i mean my whole day is ruined when i mess up like a fist bump instead of a handshake imagine if i saw myself like fumbling around with a lady what if you were just only seeing her in the mirror like i'm invisible yeah how is she doing that i sent you a picture of my bed okay get your eyes on this thing i'm gonna get my eyes on this so excited about it isn't
Starting point is 00:57:14 that awesome look at the bedside wow that is like storage yeah so my sheets are in there who are those guys above your bed those are those they were just that's my fraternity class that was my pledge class i didn't tell you i went to my fraternity was in the 40s what is that actually we were in a skiing fraternity uh i don't know my sister sent me that when i was like uh trying to find stuff for my walls i've got my walls pretty dialed in i'm pretty excited about the decor i've got my closet dialed in my bathroom's dialed in i zoom out for a second i just got new towels and everything zoom in on something else that's the mona lisa that i built yeah oh that's that's not the mona lisa that's starry night sorry starry night i got
Starting point is 00:57:56 a new towel oh my god i got to i got to towel mog my roommate last night you tm there did i tm him uh jacob jacob needed jacob needed a clean towel his girlfriend i think both of them were gonna shower and and he didn't have a clean towel yeah and so i went and got him a towel just got my new monogram towels so i hand i got to hand got to hand him a towel with my initials on it i was like fellas is it gay to is it gay to dry yourself off with your roommate's initials did you order monogrammed towels no they showed up at my house it might be gay to you yourself monogrammed towels and sent them it's not important how i got them but yeah that is like one of those things like that's a gift only kind of item to have no one there's
Starting point is 00:58:40 no right i kind of agree i've never seen anyone buy something monogrammed oh you've never met me dude i have a new belt with my initials on it like every other tuesday really that's like my thing i'm like obsessed with them now i'm like obsessed with needlepoint you didn't know this about me no i know you like needlepoint i didn't know you like monogramming monogramming yourself towels is pretty funny well here's the thing no one i don't have like a wife so i was like if i want this i have to take some initials that's like a great aunt's like graduation gift dude i here's the thing when i got to school peter buell had his initials on his towel and i made a mental note of it and i was like one day that was my benchmark for success it was like my when i'm drying off
Starting point is 00:59:20 i can look at myself look at my initial my towel has a huge bleach stain right in the middle that's sort of my own little monogram it's like how um it's like how my buddy you remember when i told you my buddy yes yes the opposite of the third time we tell the story his buddy wiped his ass on his towel literally from end to end of the towel there's a streak of poop i'd rather a streak of poop than a streak of pee i wouldn't i definitely prefer the pee yeah you're right i'll go pee um no i mean here's the thing it was an extra so i was buying new towels i didn't i didn't like seek out these things i was buying new towels because mine i'd had i'd had the same like target towels since i moved out here and when we decided to stay in this house we were like we're redoing
Starting point is 01:00:04 we're getting rid of the couch we're getting a new couch like if we're gonna do another year we want it to be as comfortable as possible so i was like you know what i'm gonna apply this to my bathroom as well and at checkout it was like would you like to add where'd you get them from i want to say it was called the company i know that's not specific but it was just uh just normal white towels and then it just says jjk on it and i you know what i understand that i'm gonna catch a little flack for this i like it and it makes me happy well it's funny because you're like fellas is it gay to dry yourself dry yourself with your roommate's monogram towels and i actually think it's gay to dry yourself with your own monogram be the roommate that has
Starting point is 01:00:41 yeah no it's i want i'm happy for you i was watching the shards and they had their show yeah you should it people say it sucks i like it okay it's it's for guys like me who are i don't know maybe it's not fancy i was gonna say it's maybe not for the smartest guys like it's like kind of like the shards yeah yeah fancy it's for fancy do you think i'm fancy well i thought you were just like into fancy content oh no no no but they have monogrammed towels this was before i saw the shards bro not beating the fancy elegance no yeah it is yeah it is wait do you not see like billboards everywhere for this thing i like can't get away from the shards have you seen it yet no but i see like i i like it a lot i'm big mama house too i'm enjoying
Starting point is 01:01:25 it have you seen medea goes to jail it's almost exactly like that i'm gonna cast you in a show called the sharts wait can you toss me your cube andrew can i play with it yes oh there's one behind you actually too behind me too oh yeah where uh on your other side oh oh they're not are they for us no but i want to put them on the set yeah you can take are you sure yeah i already took them out i've already played with them um binder and i did an unboxing today all right andrew oh that is fun to touch yeah right you're making fun of it earlier the textures yeah it's like the right amount of resistance have you um you haven't like fucked this one yet right that one it's fucked you what what do you count as like fucking it it gave you head
Starting point is 01:02:12 yeah okay we did everything but sex with it waking up everything but sex waking up uh you know we were saying like i hooked up with the zookeeper last night yeah being like you remember that neato from the bar yeah i took him home um that bar that had like a bunch of board games you could play with yeah i fucked one of them i fucked the neato i played risk if you know what i'm saying i fucked trouble it's nice right uh it is it is nice so yeah it is nice so you guys are anti the the towels with your initials on them um i think it is i i would i would probably have not totally bad in an eye but andrew is right that is like monogram is like something i've i've largely seen as a gift or like you have lived in a home and you're old also you said your monogram was jjk
Starting point is 01:03:08 is that the order that it's in no i lied well i'm i'm saying like the monogram your middle name or your last name should be in the middle that's how they do it if it's like the if one if if one letter is bigger yeah then they do it that way oh you're but if it's just it's all the same size okay i'm thinking like you know you know what the problem with the with the uh if i did like jkj is epstein ruined that no one can do that anymore because that was every single thing he had like the most classic way to do that like that that quarter zip that he used to wear and so now if you put your initials like that i feel like it looks a little epstein really yeah i wouldn't have thought of i think vera bradley still does it that way who's vera bradley she's the one that like
Starting point is 01:03:53 made vera bradley vera bradley she's the one that made like the the monogramming stuff like big back in like the 2010s wait monogramming has been big yeah but vera bradley had like that very like distinct who is she's a designer yeah yeah yeah interesting uh i remember i had a lot i had it on a lot of my stuff at school because we all had the same things but now it doesn't really make sense as like an adult i just like it i just like to have it that way well maybe yeah yeah it was kind of like this that's what i was yeah yeah the big the big um letter in the middle did you when you first wash your towels for the first couple times did you have a thing where like the fuzz just gets all over your apartment you just have to like move no i i
Starting point is 01:04:42 specifically got a type that like i i remember my mom had them where it's a little bit rougher like i don't like the soft towel i like the ones the cotton that is like uh if i rub too hard my skin might come off you know what i'm saying yeah it keeps you kind of on edge yeah i got fuzzy ones and the fuzz from the dryer just got all over my apartment and i constantly would try to clean it and I could never get it done, and I just had to move out finally. Wow. It was just inescapable. Are you serious?
Starting point is 01:05:14 I think about hiring, like, a cleaning lady. It was like, what is it, like, ant eaters or something, or wood ants, you know? Termites? Termites, yeah. Wood ant eaters? You had to move out of town? No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:05:26 It's a nightmare. Wood ant eater. No, isn't it like if you have, like, termites, like, your building is, like, unsavable or something? No, you can get rid of them, I think, but, yeah, I had to tent my house last night. I had a horrible term. Are you serious?
Starting point is 01:05:39 Yeah, we had to completely tent the whole house and leave for a weekend. Yours was like a nightmare. Google anteater. There's some kind of... I need you to see what anteater is. I know what an anteater is. There's some kind of pest that like once it's found in your home, it's like over. And that's how it was with my towels.
Starting point is 01:05:53 Speaking of pests... Poop bug? Yeah, it was a poop bug. Birdie killed a mouse without touching it last week. With her mind? literally my sister was like i've never seen anything like it so it had been coming in and out of the radiator and it had been driving birdie like do it in your bed it had been driving birdie nuts and she was like sitting by the radiator like just beside herself
Starting point is 01:06:21 and then she caught it outside of the radiator and cornered it and my sister goes she didn't like it was like she didn't know what to do now that she had it cornered and before she could figure out what to do the thing dropped dead and so she googled it and apparently it's like they can just get so fucking scared that their heart just like explodes and they die me after fist bumping at the meeting um but kara said birdie's been like really happy since it happened where she's like fine like she This has been driving her nuts. Well, so you think she has, like, a superpower right now.
Starting point is 01:07:04 But, yeah, it was, I can't, it was, like, it can go into, like, shock and just die. Yeah, I mean, I guess that makes sense. It's so small anyway. Ugh. Ugh. Oh, God. Do you think after you fist bumped those girls and you guys left, do you think they were, like, those guys are a riot? uh i think that i got i have a source that said the meeting went great really okay who
Starting point is 01:07:32 i can't tell you on the podcast oh but like it did yes obama that's fantastic uh obama didn't it went great meeting went great i'm obama speaking speaking of guys you could fist bump on the way out speaking of guys you could fist obama speaking of guys you could fist i'm not crazy edge has been asking for it lately right i could fist him yeah i tried to do i was trying to see if edge was in his office today so i walked by but the sun was uh bright enough that i had to put my my eyes like directly against the glass and by the time i got there his face is like like his mirror or his window is like six inches from his face and i got it and i finally got the vision he looked at me like what sorry speaking of guys that oh i just said speaking of guys you
Starting point is 01:08:21 could fist bump yeah when you leave obama we were just talking about obama yeah um all right wait i have a couple that bad yeah it's broken forever do you guys mind if i do the um if i do some segments myself this is my this guy rocks of the day this week on this guy rocks so we've got a thoughts on my bed you have a really nice room thank you dude that doesn't even do it justice i have been i've been working tirelessly to make it feel cozy and when you come over if you get the whole if you get all four walls at the same time and you see my closet you'll be like now this is a guy who's got it figured out yeah wait so i gotta learn a thing or two does the painting of your room in your room is it not accurate anymore it's not accurate anymore but it's been outdated
Starting point is 01:09:09 for a while because i went a little haywire on the uh on the decor also here's a fun tip for people at home a nice way to elevate your closet i've done this and now it feels even better i switched to wooden hangers you don't you are fancy no dude it's the same price they're honestly probably cheaper really i'm on amazon i get like they're monogrammed monogrammed hey if i will give this is a this is a declaration if i ever monogram my hangers you're allowed to kick me in the balls Because that will be something that's gone too far. They're anagrammed. Anagrammed.
Starting point is 01:09:41 Where the fuck does that even... Rehanging. You were like really getting your life together. It's kind of inspiring me. I actually had a thought about this the other day, and I was like, I think I'm doing this. I think I've become clean and become organized because it makes me feel like I am doing well,
Starting point is 01:09:58 but it gives me an out to neglect maybe the things that actually matter, if that makes sense. Like what? Like finances or something? I can still act like a child 24-7, but I'm like, I'm an adult because I clean the kitchen. I feel like you get really hard on yourself about just enjoying your 20s. No, trust me. I think I'm just enjoying it too much.
Starting point is 01:10:20 You think so? Yes. I think you're doing just the right amount. I think you're just hard on yourself. Okay. Thank you. That makes me feel good. I think Andrew is doing it wrong.
Starting point is 01:10:28 I think, yeah. Okay. One more thing, and then I swear to God, I'll shut the fuck up. Is that a picture of your butt? I got a shoe rack now, too. that is this i have a shoe rack i got a wooden shoe rack in my fuck i'm gonna show you my closet i have to show you my closet i have to show you it makes me feel so weird about the shit i got going on in my apartment yeah i mean i got like a fucking i got a picture of a bikini but the
Starting point is 01:10:49 bikini is like a map of south of california who's there when i moved in i haven't moved in lauren wait that's my favorite fucking is this my favorite was like at you had one of those ones that was like at the beach oh the beach is my happy place on a surfboard okay andrew check this out tell me tell me this isn't tell me this isn't the best organized closet you've seen in a minute wow dude i'm dialed in i mean wow fucking color coded and everything i know what you're thinking rusty the safe is still there yeah and it's fucking stocked with valuables now yeah i think because i got a safe you required more i've acquired more valuable what's in there like the ron weasley patch card and there are cards there are watches there is cash there's i got
Starting point is 01:11:30 the same bin there's jewelry yeah dude i ordered that on home depot to put all the some of the clothes from my closet clean out oh and then now i have a poster on the wall on the back so you go in my room you're like the decor doesn't stop like he is just decorating every wall so bad they had a closet that big i would literally kill to have a closet it's cash mine is so small and it's a nightmare i have no storage have you tried getting your bread up uh i tried but yours also isn't very deep like yours is not yours is way wider but it's like i don't even know if any of my pants could like fit in there literally it's just the width of one shirt and then yeah yours is like a yours is like a binder whip it's ridiculous yeah what inspired this chain
Starting point is 01:12:14 binder it's happened slowly over time okay she said that shit was binder width oh it's like the yeah but i keep all my shit under my bed and stuff and it's just like a mess yeah yeah this i'm impressed thank you i'm jealous thank you dude uh what inspired it i i think it happened over time but i i realized that i just feel so much better when everything is where it's supposed to be that i you know uh it's like it's it is like type it's like type b fun for me it's my it's my running yeah i'm like this sucks i fucking hate cleaning but once it's there i like to look it in and be like you did good kid yeah that's awesome oh let's see this this guy rocks okay this is a dance competition and there's one contestant who is a little nervous and so the
