Starting point is 00:00:00 Yeah, what you want? Beak or jaws, feathers or fur, sharp teeth or feet with claws, whatever's prefer. Just kidding, every word in his songs about two grown men dressed up as a bird and a dog. Hey, happy Friday. Oh my God, it's Friday, bitches. You know what time it is? Time for the wolf and out. Emails.
Starting point is 00:00:24 I got a problem, Bobby. Right to the wolf for now. Especially a member. Melos Electronicos For Las Wulfos and Aulos Bienbenidos
Starting point is 00:00:37 Wow, you're like Kevin Bishop Bridges Actually you are a bit like Kevin Bishop He's got the hair and the Worstosh At the moment So look, there's a bit of a hangover From the last Last episode
Starting point is 00:00:52 There's so many questions About the pants Feel free to ask them Just to be very quick For people I can't imagine anybody Anyway I was in bed
Starting point is 00:01:01 I was in bed I was in bed and asleep I like the wolf now I only really listen to the EMO special so
Starting point is 00:01:06 somebody I was sleeping with So you've made love that evening Yeah yeah okay Checking my pants to see if I'd shut myself Yeah so you're asleep
Starting point is 00:01:18 At the time You're doing such heinous Yeah loud gross farts I don't know if they were loud But they were smell So she took it upon herself Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:31 To delve under the covers and check that you hadn't pooed yourself. Yeah, correct. Oh, my God. But it wasn't done in an aggressive, horrible way. How could you... The aggressive horrible thought of someone going, with you bloody shut yourself? No, but that's what I mean.
Starting point is 00:01:48 No, I'd say arguably that's better. I think someone worryingly about you... Yeah, that's what happened. That's what happened. Oh, bless him, I think he's shat him. Yeah, that was the tone. That was the tone in which it was done, with which it was done. You waking up and going, what am I doing?
Starting point is 00:02:06 That's what happened, yeah. What's going on back there? And she said, sorry, you were just doing such disgusting farts of just making sure you don't shack yourself. Yeah, that's basically what happened. Fucking is insane. It's horrible, isn't it? How you never?
Starting point is 00:02:19 Oh, my, it's just genuinely, that's one of the worst stories I've ever heard about in bed with someone. Yeah, it's bad. How did you, did you see it much after that? Yeah, we're carrying us. seen each other for a while after that. But I... By the way, how does that work
Starting point is 00:02:33 when she's with her friends? What do you mean? When she turned around and going, oh, bloody, you know, a guy I'm singing, seeing Womash. Yeah, yeah. He was doing such stinky fights the other day.
Starting point is 00:02:42 I had to make sure he didn't chat himself. I know this is weird. Like, she had the kind of, um, what's the best way to describe this? She was a sort of person that just wouldn't find that a thing
Starting point is 00:02:56 to take the piss out of it. Like, do you know what I mean? No, I mean, say, taking the Mick. No, but what I mean is like, I'd rather, by the way, someone took the mix. I know, but she was just like, it was a bit more like, she felt a bit, she was doing it out of concern, like,
Starting point is 00:03:06 it's actually a bit more embarrassing. She's doing it like going. By the way, that also means she thinks she probably had checked yourself. She did think I had chat myself. Yeah. No, she thought I'd chat myself. Yeah, but she thought you were the sort of person who'd, you know. I don't think, I think she, she probably went to bed that night,
Starting point is 00:03:23 thinking Romish isn't the sort of person that would shit himself. Then the room stinks so much. She's going on, I don't think he's a sort of person that shits himself. But there's no way this can be gas. Christ. And then she checked my under. That means that, yeah, you had, yeah. That sort of was one of a number of life-changing experiences for me,
Starting point is 00:03:41 where I decided to sort of be a bit more careful on what I ate and stuff. Yeah, of course. Were you eating meat back then? Yeah, I was eating meat back then. Okay. I'm delighted to say, no, it wasn't eating meat. No, that's not true, but I wasn't vegan. Okay, vegetarian.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I would say now, I'm a different animal fart wise I really have turned a corner my fart's been a lot better recently yeah my fart's not as smelly have you as anyone have because that's what you do with a baby right it's what you do with a
Starting point is 00:04:10 if you go oh bam it stinks of shit in here and just make sure the kid doesn't chat themselves so that was the last time that happened to you yeah I mean yes correct since I was a baby yeah but I imagine if we'd have gone on to have children the check would be
Starting point is 00:04:25 let's go to Rommish first and then see if the baby's done so. How did things end with her? Like, Emma could be able to her? Yeah. That's nice. Yeah. She probably... The problem with those things, though, is then...
Starting point is 00:04:38 And this is the problem with all breakups, is if you do something embarrassing or something embarrassing like that happens, that's okay while you're still with that person. And then once you split up with that person... I don't know. I think that that becomes the focus of your relationship. It might do.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Because you know that there will be certain friends going, Melissa, he shed himself, in front of you. He didn't poo himself. He was just doing really stinky farts. I had to check his bum. Why are those two people talking to each other? And where are they?
Starting point is 00:05:03 I don't know. The malt shop or something. Okay. The malt shop. Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is once you split up, then all bets are off. Yeah, of course, yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:13 She's probably told quite a few people. Yeah. People are in the pub going, oh my God, Rorush ringing anything. Do you see what he said to this week? And everyone's like, oh, he's so funny. Yeah, you know what's really funny about him? He shacked the bed when I went out of him.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I didn't just shit the bed though Yeah but that mate the sounds of time Stories age I don't know how much you reveal it will be Having said it on the podcast No but I mean in many ways
Starting point is 00:05:42 I have I have I've depowered it Yeah you have now I've liberated myself Those shackles Melissa guess what I was listening to the podcast Well for now the other day
Starting point is 00:05:54 turns out rummish didn't pull himself he just had a really smelly bum and that would be like yeah it's not quite the victory lap I was hoping for but anyway right it's time for emails remember if you want to send us in an email wolf owlpod at gmail.com
Starting point is 00:06:10 also please do remember to like and subscribe it means that you never miss an episode and it really makes us feel better about ourselves. Also funny pictures videos all very much send what you want and yeah John now John is very keen John is one of the most positive human beings
Starting point is 00:06:24 I've ever met my life and one thing that really gets John's word of crazy day is your pictures and messages He gets off on admin in a way that other people get off with times with their loved ones and stuff like that he lives for ploughing through emails
Starting point is 00:06:39 that will generate no content for the podcast so please do feel free to send those in okay who wants to read the first you go first you go hi Tom and Rob I need some help figuring this one out My kitchen sink overlooks a pretty interesting residential street that makes for excellent people watching while I'm washing up This is great now
Starting point is 00:07:01 But my washing up is really a quite relaxing thing to do I've had of an older age The pinnacle of this was late one summer evening As it was just starting to get dark I saw a middle-aged man in a baseball cap Hello? You getting nervous? Walking along, looking up at the surrounding buildings if he was searching for something
Starting point is 00:07:21 Quickly he spotted me He looked me dead in the eye and stopped in his tracks. He checked both directions before stepping out into the road, so he was in full view, dropping his trousers to reveal his hairy ass. I mean, literally, yeah. So far, so Tom Davis. Cheeks to the wind in the middle of the road.
Starting point is 00:07:42 He then pulled his trousers up and looked back at me with an expression of deep shame before hurrying off. I would say this way. Back in the direction that you just come from. Now the shame is where we start to think, okay, it can't be told. His performance lacked the childish and playful nature of being moonied, yet also lacked the sexual aggression of being flashed.
Starting point is 00:08:00 So I don't know what happened. I feel baffled rather than violated. Very keen to your thoughts on why a middle-aged man would show up and show me his bum and then run away. Thanks, love the pod. That's from the baffled border terrier. Tom, what's your thoughts on this, please? That's a weird thing, isn't it? The bum shower.
Starting point is 00:08:15 Did you ever moony people when you were younger? What do you think? No, I don't think you've probably got moony, in you? No. No. Oh, I have moonied. Yeah, I bet you have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I wouldn't surprise you if you've moonied Catherine. Have you? Oh, you of course. Yeah. Showed of my bum, yeah. Yeah. Show do your bum. Yeah, moonied.
Starting point is 00:08:34 I actually do moonies now quite a bit in the house. Yeah, in the house, yeah. Not with Theo's girlfriends there. No, but like when we're sitting watching a film or something, I'm just going to go grab some snacks, and I've pre-set my trousers up so my ass gets revealed. Do you ever pull your box shorts between your ass cheeks and pretend it's a thong?
Starting point is 00:08:51 Yeah. It's one of my favorite things to do there. Or I pull my... Grace still thinks are there, so I pull my pants up really high. Yeah. Simon Cow. My underpants.
Starting point is 00:09:03 But mooning, because what's mad is Mooning was all... When we were younger, was seen as a sort of... Almost like, this is before consoles and fucking... My phone's was a way of sort of like... Tom, listen, I know we were moonying.
Starting point is 00:09:16 The idea that mooning was our PlayStation 5. It's such a fucking... No, but it was... insane connection to make. There was less stuff going on. So you go, oh, you hear about Darren? Darren Clark, Mooneyed so and so the other day. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Yeah, and it would become like gossip. Yeah, mooning was a thing. Yeah, it was big. Yeah, but this doesn't feel like if, because Moonium was always like done, I think with an infectiously silly. Yeah, but now I look it and go, oh, essentially it is maybe flashing.
Starting point is 00:09:42 Do you know what I think? I think it is flashing, but I don't think it's a sexual thing. No. If we break this down bit by bit. But also, was that guy just down the back alley looking for something, down the street looking for someone?
Starting point is 00:09:53 He's walking down the street. It's someone to mooney out. That's what I think. I actually think that is what happened. I think this guy was looking for somebody to be his audience. Yeah. Spotted somebody. Decided to mooney them.
Starting point is 00:10:06 And then felt the shame of that happening. And that was the kick they were looking for. I think my impression is they were looking for the shame. Yeah. Because you know. A dober one hit. Yeah. Of just like I've done that horrible.
Starting point is 00:10:19 I've done this horrible thing to this person. Yeah. it's a bizarre thing I mean would you get in touch the Neighborhood Watch about that Is Neighborhood Watch still a thing? Yeah
Starting point is 00:10:30 I mean it is in your affluent areas I don't think it is where I live Oh my Jesus Christ But This guy I have not heard I have not heard Up of Mount Crawley
Starting point is 00:10:40 I have I haven't I have You didn't see your house Flying into Gatwick It's insane I have not Just you move
Starting point is 00:10:51 running up at the planes. I have not heard Neighbourhood Watch mentioned in a long time. No, I think it's still a bit of a thing. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:58 I think it's... But what I'm saying is, would you... Because look, by the next thing, this sweet, sweet so I was taking it in, their stride,
Starting point is 00:11:06 it's a bit strange, it's a bit weird. Well, it's a bit strange, but if you did that to... Children. Yeah. Children or an old person who wasn't ready to see.
Starting point is 00:11:12 And some, you know, whenever you experience something that you thinks this person, you know, weird sort of laughing laughing about it, but actually if someone else, this might be like,
Starting point is 00:11:23 horrible. So I do think, a hairy ass is... I don't think the police are going to do anything. Have you got a hairy ass? I don't know. I was about to say, I don't know what you mean by hair. Like, do you mean disproportionately hairy-based... Yeah, right, yeah, what have you got?
Starting point is 00:11:36 No, not particularly. Yeah, the crack. It's in keeping with the surrounding areas. I haven't examined the exact hair levels inside my crack. So I couldn't tell you that. You'd have to ask that girl I was sleeping with. Oh, Jesus, you'd probably got the best for you. The torch.
Starting point is 00:11:52 Although my crack has been on sky, obviously. Yeah, yeah. Because I did the butthole sunning. Yeah. So Cliff, the camp... I don't think you're bummed when I've seen it's that hairy. No, but they pixelated it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:01 Cliff, the camera up, he was close... His job was to close up on my gooch. Right. So he, I would say he's probably the person in the world that knows that area of me the best. Yeah, that and the girl who thought you'd pooed your pants.
Starting point is 00:12:16 I think... What I do is probably just keep an eye out. By the way, this sounds like, an incredible neighbour to have someone who's got an eye on what's going on the street at all times. You're a people watcher? Yeah, I would say, like, I don't actively go out my way to do it. If I'm sat at a bar or, you know, you know when you sit outside to have a pint or something like that. Okay.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Sat at a bar is different. Yeah. No, when you're sat in a bit... You're a guy on your own sat at a bar watching people. No, no, but when you're, like, sat outside or something, where you're in a park or whatever. Yeah. You sort of take... Why you sit in a park watching people?
Starting point is 00:12:46 Well, like, sometimes, like, the... I don't know, we'll go down, the kids are playing football. and then later I'll be sat on a bench or having a drink. You don't just go to the park on your own and just...
Starting point is 00:12:54 No, I mean, I certainly wouldn't admit now if I had, if I was, the way you've made it fucking sound. But yeah, let's just assume
Starting point is 00:13:03 I don't go to the park on my own, okay? Let's make that the official line on this. Um, okay. Hey y'all, it's Kelly Clarkson with Wayfair. Ever order furniture online and wonder what if? Like, what if it doesn't hold up? That sofa was four days old. You should have ordered from Wayfair. With Wayfair, there's no what if. Just style you love and quality you can trust. Visit Wayfair.com.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Wayfair, every style, every home. Okay, would you like to read the next email, Tom? Good afternoon, chaps. I have a couple of questions for you both. The first is, would either of you be interesting in hosting the SNL UK now that it's been renewed for a second season? I know the Wolf has spoken. spoken fondly in the past of the original S&L, and given the brilliance of murder and successful, we know his, we know improv is something he handles with a plum. I think your improv's incredible, by the way.
Starting point is 00:13:49 You don't have to say that. No, no, do you? I mean this. No, no. I think you're improvising. You're fucking up there. Thanks, that's very kind of. Furthermore, the owl is now an accomplished
Starting point is 00:13:59 thespian. Accomplished Fespian. So I was wondering if it would be something you had been watching and were keen to explore for yourselves. Tom? I'm going to be quite honest I don't think I'm a big enough draw
Starting point is 00:14:13 for that if you look at the people they've got in I think that me and you are probably, I mean me anyway I think you are probably serious two, three I'm serious six when they've exhausted every other avenue I'm not saying that to be humble they're going for big big names to get to host
Starting point is 00:14:31 that's part of the thing of S&L is they get like nobody is going to go no disrespect to either of us holy fuck they managed to No. No. For either of us. No, no.
Starting point is 00:14:42 So I think S&L UK, I've not watched lots of it, but I've watched bits of it. And everybody thought it was going to be an absolute fucking flop. Do you know what I mean? Like, you know, the way people were talking about it's so difficult for a live sketch show to work on UK television. And it hasn't been. And like they've made a success. And we both know some really good people that are working on it. And I do think it's great that we've got some new faces in.
Starting point is 00:15:08 I think it's a. It's good to have a load of new faces in comedy and TV comedy because TV comedy hasn't been what it has been in the past. And so it's good to see a crop of new faces coming through. With that in mind, I don't think I should be anywhere near it. So even, I don't think they'll ask me. I'm just speaking personally. But if they did ask me, I would say no.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Because I just think S&LUK. But then you've also got to think there's a lot of big comedians who've done the American one as a guest host over the years. Yeah. And also bring in your audience to that. Yeah, but I just don't think I should be anywhere near it. So in the answer to the question, I've got no intention of, they've not asked me, by the way, but I wouldn't go on SNL UK.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Yeah, I just don't think, I think that the names are going to go for, big, big names. We're sort of in the middle, right? So it's like they want to get like people that are like, holy fuck. Yeah, yeah. And that's what it needs. You need to get those people that people get excited by it. But then I think, and I agree with you,
Starting point is 00:16:07 I think that there's, I think it's nice that there's been a launch pad for up and coming acts. We know quite a few of them. I would like to see maybe a few more left field choices. I hope that there's opportunity. You're talking about economic diversity, aren't you? No, I'm talking. Socioeconomic diversity. Yeah, I think social mobility is a big thing.
Starting point is 00:16:27 And I think it's to find, I think there's been a thing for sketch comedy in my experience and even this is speaking personally as well, that I was, never I was never part of that click as much as you know talk about murder and successful and stuff It was never something and it's always been something that's been very and and this is no smear on S&R I think it's brilliant I think everyone else everyone in it's incredible. Yeah, I enjoy the show really talented But I do think there's there's there's a slight There's a I think there's a bit of a missed opportunity to bring people in it who I think um al Nash actually I think comes from a similar sort of background I think and I think he's I think he's terrific. I think he's brilliant but it'd be interesting yeah just as just just just just
Starting point is 00:17:07 to throw the net a little bit wider. But I think, and I applaud what they're doing, I think the fact that they're, it's what you realize is quite how limited the opportunities are for people coming into the industry now. And I think that's not just, by the way, that's not just the people that we see on the screen, is the writers, young producers,
Starting point is 00:17:26 people coming through camera ops, people who have putting together. Well, I think all the sketches on there are incredibly put together. Yeah, brilliantly. The sketch I really like was, The traitors, lobster. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:17:39 Yeah, it's really fun. Yeah, and Jack Shep is, he's brilliant. There's going to be some breakout, like, stars. Yeah, but also then what we have to do is you have to then build a world that gives them the opportunity from there to step up on British television. Yeah, it'd be wicked to see, like, a few of those guys at least are going to go on to be, like, pretty big comedy names. Okay, secondly, I know you've faced. both been on journeys with cutting down slash out alcohol. We've been criticised a little bit for this.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Yeah. Because we weren't drinking for a while and both of us have doubled again. Yeah. But we're not back in the way that we were before, are we? No, no, no, no. And I was wondering if you could tell me if it's made you a little bit less sociable. I'm in my mid-30s. And whilst I like being out and about,
Starting point is 00:18:26 cutting out alcohol means my staying power is definitely not there compared to having a drink. I feel like I may regret not being quite as sociable, though I wonder if it's that more British drinking culture. It's just a bit all or nothing by design. All the same, I do like a night in and just chilling out. But in ways you feel like you could be taking the good times for granted, we'd love to hear your thoughts. Also, if you've had experience of going on a stag and not drinking,
Starting point is 00:18:47 if not, would it be something you would do or would you treat it as a one-off? Thanks in advance to you, sweet, sweet-sweet-sells, the jittery giraffe. Thank you. Oh, my God, sorry, excuse me. Good hiccups. Thank you so much. I thought about someone, did you throw someone out of a show because a hiccup in?
Starting point is 00:19:03 Someone DM me this link this week going, oh, yeah. Ramesh years ago in a show in Newcastle, I had someone hiccuping and his... Oh, that's bollocks. Yeah, I don't think it was. What the fuck you're talking about? Yeah. For hiccuping?
Starting point is 00:19:15 Yeah. I don't think you can... I don't think you can... Oh, fuck off. Anyway, do you want to answer this? By the way, can I say? Yeah. Going back to the last episode,
Starting point is 00:19:25 as someone who's very silky smooth and a law evidence-giving fashion, you completely crumbled then. I know, it's so... You know, it's so embarrassing when, like, you think of a point, and then your mouth can't do it. It's horrible.
Starting point is 00:19:39 I mean, anyone who's been listening to this podcast over the last six years will realise that. Okay, go on. Okay, firstly, so if we can be getting stick for drinking again? Not getting stick for drinking. There's an argument that we were
Starting point is 00:19:53 slightly sanctimonious about the fact that we'd stop drinking. Yeah. And now we both... Well, I think... We're off the wagon. What is it? I think...
Starting point is 00:20:04 Are we on the wagon or off the wagon? Neither of us have... held ourselves up to be perfect human beings. No. My thing was, I was just... I'm aspiring to be a flawed human being. Yeah, yeah. Are you doing it? That's a target for me.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Yeah, you're doing okay. Yeah. My thing was kind of actually what this email's about was sociably, I find... So I'm, I sort of like, we'll give or take if I do it. I'm, and I've got that bit, I think, under control, I might be wrong with this and, you know, and this might be sort of like a... But I do think now where I've gone, actually, you know what, I've got a bit of a handle on it.
Starting point is 00:20:38 I went out. Me and Catherine a lovely night out the other night. A few cocktails, lovely evening. And I think I haven't done that really. We've not been doing that in the last couple of years. I think it's a nice way of going out and relaxing. But I'm not looking at now going out to watch an England game and having like 19 points of lager, which is what I'd do before.
Starting point is 00:20:56 I'm just now, I think there's a bit of a, okay, this is what I want to do when it comes to drinking. Personally, I don't think, I could think of anything worse than going on a stag and not drinking just on the basis the company have been around you know 10 to 20 other lads who are all drinking and you're not that would be a long fucking weekend
Starting point is 00:21:16 but yeah I think I think you've got to take it as I think everyone's different I think like I never set out to I could have I could have quite quite happily never drunk again it was just a choice I made on I'll have a drink or a couple of drinks here but you've got
Starting point is 00:21:32 to take you you've got to read yourself and go okay this is our film and how do you feel about now. How did you do not drink him? Eight months, I think or something like that. But I'm not drinking very much now. I'm probably
Starting point is 00:21:46 like, to give you an idea I've not been drunk since I've started drinking. No, I've not been drunk. So it's not like I've not had any sessions. So I've had a beer here and like a wine there. But I still, despite
Starting point is 00:22:02 the fact that I've gone back to it, I'm still really not comfortable, to be honest, with being drunk publicly. And I don't know if that's like a because I could be recognized thing or just the being out of control in a public error. I don't like it particularly. So now I feel like my sweet spot might be what you were talking about, which is like, for example, I would have a drink with good friends. So if I would have a drink with you Yeah
Starting point is 00:22:36 You know there's certain other people I'd have a drink with If I'm in a group of people that I don't really know as well I would probably I probably don't think I would I just don't feel comfortable So Lisa I would drink with Yeah But that's because I feel like I'm being
Starting point is 00:22:50 Not being looked after it But you're a safe space I guess Do you know what I mean? You better feel like that If I was me and you would go out and have a couple of drinks Yeah But work things I would never drink at that No I think that's really
Starting point is 00:23:00 Work things became That was where I looked back and go that's like the mental anxiety and the feeling that I'd get after. But if I was going to go, right, I'll go out with yourself or Catherine or whoever, just for John Boy, for coffee drinks. I think, okay. John would be a great guy to go. He would be a great guy to.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Can I tell you, if you've got a secret, this guy. A great secret keeper. How do you know? I just think he's got a secret. Well, I think John would never let you down. I genuinely think if you're in the trenches, you'd be going, oh, fucking, I like, is. You're telling people, are you telling people's secrets in the trenches?
Starting point is 00:23:31 Yeah, well, because, yeah, you go, oh, by the way, if I die. But I'm not very good at shooting. I've never used a gun before. I didn't go to any of the training classes. I was out of the power of drinking. That's why I stopped drinking. I'm actually a spy.
Starting point is 00:23:46 That would be a great fucking beginning to a movie. We're about to go over here. By the way, you should probably know this. I'm a fucking spy. I'm going to kill all of you. I never thought it would come to this. Shh. Moms a word.
Starting point is 00:23:58 You swore down. Your pinky swore. Yeah. But I think it's, I think you. I think you've got to find your own way with it. I did, that is one thing I struggled with. I realized actually, and I kind of, because I demonised drink a lot to stop drinking.
Starting point is 00:24:13 I made it like evil. And then what I then did is also I stopped, I stopped seeing certain people. You know, some people were very, you know, negatives in my life, but actually going out and hanging out with people I liked, I would not go just because I was like, I'm not drinking, so I don't want to be around that.
Starting point is 00:24:29 So I don't think I ever probably got, I went to events. I went to like boxing and drink didn't drink and whatever, but I, I think, I wouldn't be able to just pop to the pub and meet some mates necessarily and always just feel,
Starting point is 00:24:44 I think what they're saying, after a certain time, I could go for the early part of the evening, quite happily, but once a certain time where everyone else was getting a bit lively, I'd feel quite, not vulnerable is the wrong word.
Starting point is 00:24:55 I'd be like, oh, I'm sober, everyone else's, their nights going in a different direction from mine. I don't think I ever really, but I don't, and now I don't really ever feel the, I don't feel that I'll ever be something I do again. Like you, I think it's like I don't want to,
Starting point is 00:25:09 I don't want to be in a place where I don't feel like I'm in control. So it's quite nice of an evening, when it's summer's evening, going out and having a couple of drinks. Also, I don't really like, I've gone off to taste of beer, is not really doing it for me now. But in answer to your question, I found not drinking, when you're not drinking, the only real effect is the first,
Starting point is 00:25:28 I think the first half an hour, you're feeling slightly uncomfortable in your own skin. That's what drinking takes off. That's the edge that drinking takes off, which is that you have a drink and suddenly you're in. You're not having to think too much about how you're fitting in with the group. Whereas when you're not drinking, you're second guessing what you've said.
Starting point is 00:25:47 Am I being boring? You know, you have this thought that you're less interesting because you're not drinking. And then after that, once everyone's at their first drink, they don't give a shit what you're saying. No. You know, you're in there. But also, but the stag do thing is if you're the sober person at stagdo, that requires a person who does a lot of admin and looking after.
Starting point is 00:26:05 That's the first person who's like, you know, you know, Craig's had too much. Yeah. You're sober. Take Craig home and you get back and it's, yeah. It's someone who's an admin lover. And speaking of admin, John absolutely loves it as well.
Starting point is 00:26:19 Wolf Alpod at gmail.com, any old shit you want to send him. Pictures of you on a stag dude, drunk. Or a long email where you just put a letter every, I don't know, 90 lines. Maybe we should blue Peter this as well because people haven't seen John so you can do an artist interpretation of what's what you look like. Send in a drawing.
Starting point is 00:26:38 Wolfelphod at gmlml.com. The best one will get a prize, free tickets to the club night. Yeah, absolutely. And they will be picked by none other than John himself. Yes. Thank you so much for all your emails. If you want to get in touch, Wolfelphodd at gmell.com. We will see you next time.
