Yo.
Yeah, what do you want?
Beak or jaws, feathers or fur, sharp teeth or feet with claws, whatever's prefer.
Just kidding every word in his song's about two grown men dressed up as a bird and a dog.
Well, welcome to the e-wolf.
And our email special, is the email special, it's the email special, it's the email special.
It's the email.
Have you done dance sessions?
Your shoulders are really
What?
They've come alive.
I've never seen use your shoulders so much.
I don't know why I've done that.
This is where we answer your questions or queries
or simple discussion points.
Let's start with our first one, shall we?
Tom, should we get straight into it?
Yeah, let's do it, my friend.
Okay.
Wolf and Al, hi!
Lurvin.
What did you do that for?
Lurvin the podcast.
Although I had to turn it off on the plane recently
as I was getting funny looks
as I giggled and snorted to the discussion
on Tom's leather trousers.
Now, I need some parenting advice.
I have a 15-year-old son who is smart and athletic,
which he gets from his mum,
and the traits he's gained from here,
mainly around deceit and misbehaving.
He originally came home and he was clearly stoned.
This wasn't a shock as he'd been going to the park.
Similar like Adobe.
This wasn't a shock as he'd been going,
this could be quite a serious query.
This wasn't a shock as he'd been going to the park
with his friends to play football.
And so it's the same story I used when I was 15
and I'd find places to smoke and drink.
I know there's no.
On this occasion, he tried to pull off the perfect crime.
He left for the day to go to a basketball club
that he's been too many times
so he couldn't be tracked via air tags or phones
he then went to basketball and left his
rock sack there with his air tag in
he then powered down his phone
and left for the day to be with some friends this entailed vaping
and having magic mushrooms holy fuck
he then had to collect his bag and air tag
and return home the only flaw in his plan
was his return home and getting past the father who had done
many similar things he could quickly tell he wasn't quite
himself so
should the next steps be a
punishment by grounding and moving phone technology
so he focused on schoolwork or be
rewarding for his ingenuity and planning
so in the future you can pull off complex deep cover operations
appreciate your views and look forward to the Wolfenelle nightclub
the lanky bean pole
this is a doozy
because I think we're all this kid at some point
were we?
Yeah I mean yeah yeah
I once went out about 15
got completely stoned
yeah
came home my mum had baked a cake
yeah she said help yourself to a slice if you want
I went and had a slice
then I went and had another slice
Anyway long story short
I went to the kitchen I'd eat in the entire cake
Jesus
Yeah bad
I was terrible for the going out and drinking
And yeah
I used to do a thing when my dad
Would like on those ways to work
Drop me at
Like college or whatever
I dropped me to
Something or some sort of fucking thing
Why's your register changed a little bit
You've gone a little bit
Like whimsical
I just sort of
I don't know
I was thinking about being stoned
And he quite often then just see me in Southton Town Centre
a couple of hours later.
Just getting at like, you know, weather spoons or something
as he'd go past.
So sometimes he'd literally be driving and I'll be coming out of Sutton Station.
Yeah.
Anyhow.
Can we just stand behalf of the podcast?
Don't do drugs.
No, no.
I really think this is, I actually think the biggest problem with this one
is the air, like, the air tag and phone.
I think it's like, you've almost got to be like, look,
I know this shit's happening.
in a situation like this
I think you've got to be honest
that you were like that
but I think also it's like saying
switching off your phone
and leaving your air tag someone
and then taking yourself into a situation like this
where I don't know where you are
it's the most dangerous thing to do in a way
you'll leave you're unlocatable
and then you're getting high
yeah and we obviously didn't have phones or air tag
it's like just saying look if you're going to do this
I'll tell you what we did have though a damn good time
you look so
old when you said that.
You know who reminded me of?
Will Smith's uncle in...
Uncle Phil?
Yeah.
I've got Uncle Phil.
Uncle Phil was actually younger than us when he filmed that.
Uncle Phil was so cool.
You know when Fresh Prince used to slip into like real emotive stuff?
Yeah.
God, man, it got you, didn't it?
Why don't he want me?
Yeah, that episode.
Oh, man.
Great show, right?
What was it on, what was on BBCT then?
You know what's weird?
When we started a podcast, you were Colton?
And now you've become Uncle Phil.
Whereas you've not aged, have you, Peter Pan?
When you go fuck yourself?
I'm not Will Smith.
Don't say that.
Who's Will Smith's mate?
Jazzy, Jesse.
Yeah, yeah.
Who's Will Smith's mate?
Only one of the greatest DJs of all time, Jazzy Jeff.
Put some fucking respect on his name.
Yeah, but I couldn't remember.
What's character's name in it?
Jazz.
Jazz?
Yeah.
They did a special handshake, didn't like?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You'd probably be Will Smith.
I'll be jazz.
I think I would be Will Smith.
Do you think you would be Carlton?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Beckett would be Will Smith.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You'd be Ashley Lashley.
Who do you think you'd have been
and saved by the bell?
Screech.
No, I don't think you'd be...
Is it Zach, the cool kid?
The lead?
Yeah, Zach.
Yeah.
And then, is it AJ?
Yeah.
So anyway, I think in this situation...
I mean, you've got a boy about this age, right?
Yeah.
But I think in my head, I think you've got to have this,
on this open conversation and say,
look, I know this is happening.
I've been there.
Probably not tried to lean too much into Cool Dad.
But, um, just, so, um, see you've been on the old mushrooms.
And, uh, hey, listen to me.
You're probably sitting there thinking, this old man doesn't have a clue what I've been up to.
Uh, let me do you something.
Uh, when I was a kid, got into, doubled with a few things myself.
Let me tell you, Theo, mate.
Theo, listen.
Your dad used to like to get higher, all right?
Don't tell you my mom.
mom. I actually like it, mate.
I should get high as fuck.
All right, Dad, yeah, yeah.
Now, mate, no, no, no, no. Listen, serious talk.
Should it get high.
But I can't have you coming in, getting in,
coming in and turning your out or tag off, boy.
All right, so, I think the fact is, I think, yeah, you've got a,
I think that's the thing my worry would be,
I don't know where you are.
And I need to know where you are.
And if you're going to go and do this stuff, this crazy.
Yeah. And you know, throw a little bit my one.
Yeah. I think that's the thing. I think you, I mean, I've got a long way to go to that.
Theo's a steady lad, don't he?
Yeah.
I don't know, but I think if that happened with the boys,
I would, I mean, I certainly wouldn't,
I mean, I'm assuming he's joking about the praise of the ingenuity of the,
I don't know, I think that's obviously a joke.
But I think that,
I think it's probably have an open conversation,
because I think part of the problem is that kids don't think you understand
what they're up to at all.
I think you find out of it.
But what I mean is, is you got to,
you know what the other boys used to call me?
wavy
the wave meister
the surfer
do you know
sometimes it's difficult for me
to make comment
because I think that is so close
to how I would
do you know
I mean
it is actually weirdly
not that far away
from how I would be
so I find that difficult
to navigate
because if you're doing
something that's so far removed
I go come on mate
but actually I'm thinking
yeah it doesn't sound
I mean he's done
a slightly different voice
but that feels like the tone that I would take
I think you'd have to have an open chat
don't you?
Yeah, I think.
I can you imagine if I think.
Everybody going surfing.
Do you know what this is?
It's called a bong, son.
You know what?
This is a character I'd like to see you play.
I'll say you what,
give me a tenor, I'll drink some of the water from the bottom.
That's what he used to do when I was a kid.
Tell you what, give me a score, I'll drink some bong water and some piss.
Everyone used to say
Oh yeah, he's got some money
One will do it there
Now I'm sure
You've been doing all your bongs
And your bun in your zoots
Or whatever you get up to
But here's a little thing
That we used to do
A little bit of beer in the bong
You ever seen jackass boy
We call that a spicy
You ever seen jackass boy
You ever seen some of the stuff
They do in jackass
Well let's just say
Some of that was based on your old man
you used to get a funnel
three cans of white lightning
pour it into your own cavity
yeah I think it is the thing
of having that honest discussion
and I think it's just like
look just do it responsibly do it safe
yeah do it safe yeah
also when they're getting shit these days
what?
Oh yeah just making sure
yeah yeah I think you got
you know if you're gonna
it feels weird to say if you're gonna do drugs
can you keep the apple tag on
but that's kind of
that's kind of the gist of it isn't it
yeah if you're going to
be it. And also, enjoy your basketball still. Yeah, absolutely. Because I tell you what,
there's not just one way to get high. Yeah, because I'll tell you what, you can get high all
your life, but basketball, once you get to a certain age, I'd love to go back and play basketball
club. Yeah. You don't do basketball anymore, but does he get high? Just a bit. Oh yeah, I get
high all the time. Yeah. I love getting high. Um, okay. That's, I think, yeah, good luck.
Lanky bean pole. Uh, right, Tom. Hi, Tom and Rahm and love the podcast.
Yeeh!
They're both of your work.
I'm actually going to see Tom soon and I'll...
Oh, it'll be my first comedy show.
I've ever been to.
Oh, there you go.
Suddenly you said there's an opportunity for some promo,
and he's gone all serious.
Yeah, I'm hoping Newcastle is still struggling to sell tickets there.
I'm buzzing.
Big fan of murder and successful.
Anyway, sorry to glaze.
That's okay.
I didn't really feel that.
Oh, that's right.
He didn't mention me at all.
Anyway, carry on.
On your opinion on something, I love a good snack.
Just a cheeky sandwich, a little cake or something like that.
One of my sandwiches, if you can call it a sandwich,
is two bits of bread with butter on each piece
and I squirt some HP on the bread, spread it around
and I slap the bread together and chow down.
I even amp it up by putting crisps in.
A crisp sandwich, that's known as.
Yeah, starting to become clearer eyes of Tomfow.
I'm going.
I've been called an utter weird life for having such a thing.
But I'm pretty sure a lot of people eat strange concoctions of food
they have put together and they're just too ashamed to talk about it.
We'd love to get both your opinions and strange things you guys eat
and maybe you haven't told anyone about.
Thank you for all the laughs, the loud lemur.
Lima.
Okay.
Loud Lima, thanks for email.
Fuck you for not mentioning me, you piece of shit.
I actually was a subject of a little bit of a...
What's wrong with you?
It's your face.
It's how needy we both are.
People know how pathetic we both are, so usually even if they'll go, oh, Rob, I love this.
I love the weakest thing.
And Tom, yeah, I've just become aware of your stuff.
Yeah, well, this person hasn't bothered.
No, no, that is the first time that no one's mentioned.
of us.
What did we know
I mentioned either?
He's coming to see you.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Hopefully, yeah.
I mean, that's nice.
That's good.
Your face.
Right, but.
So, basically, I was doing
some interview.
I can't remember what it was,
but I said that
somewhere,
I don't remember
somewhere,
I have said that
I like Marmite
and peanut butter
mixed together,
which is true.
I think you said it on here.
It does that on here?
I think you said that on here.
Okay, so then there was some video,
some people had
taken quotes from
different
celebs or whatever
and decided to try
these combinations
and I can't remember what the others were
but somebody tagged sent it to me
and said like you'd be mentioned here
and they tried marmite and peanut butter
and then they sort of rinsed it
they're just like I don't really like this or whatever
I can't see why you would that wouldn't work
I don't see they were going it's claggy but
it's much it's claggy
it's peanut butter
you couldn't get too well claggy things
but you know you're like clagking
peanut butter marmite banana
yeah that's great
Can I just say, by the way, peanut butter and marmite isn't even a wild swing.
No.
It's, that's a really great conclusion.
I don't actually think a crisp sandwich is a wild swing.
Can I say crisp sandwich is pretty much, I don't know anyone who hasn't had a crisp sandwich.
Yeah.
It's not, it's not actually.
I think, I'm surprised that anybody has a reaction to that, to be honest.
HP, crisp and two bits of bread?
Yeah.
I don't, I don't, I don't, I'd be honestly, the biggest surprises that you're bothering to buttering to butter the bread.
No, no, I don't, mate, crisp, just a buttered crisp sandwich.
HP, crisps.
Oh, mate.
butter makes everything better.
You don't know that because you're not in the butter game.
You know, you've got that vegan spread, which is nowhere near.
They can't...
Sure.
The salty butter, salty crisps, cheap white loaf,
a little bit of HP in a mix.
Oh, gosh.
Really?
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'll tell you now.
I'd actually go further and get a bit of cheese, bit of ham and fray.
Cheese ham, crisps, butter.
Yeah.
HP, bread.
Yeah.
Bosh.
I'm probably the thing I'm known most for is...
no matter what else I've done is the hinds tomato soup with wotsets.
Yeah. That's my...
That would be your legacy.
I think that is, yeah.
If I'm going to leave anything behind,
I think,
and I hope people have tried it.
It's incredible.
You can have wotsuits,
can you?
No.
Why?
Because I've got cheese in.
Yeah,
but it's fake cheese,
isn't it?
There must be vegan watsets.
No,
well,
they're probably are vegan wotsets.
If they can get vegan watsits,
I'd love to see your face when you tried that for the first time.
What happens to the watsats?
They go soggy.
They're incredible.
incredible. You've got to leave them. Some people go in too high.
They just watchets. That means you've not played the game properly.
You know what's great is if you get them at the top, they're crispy at the top and soggy underneath.
Would you ever use a giant Motset?
Yeah, I have them.
Can I just say at this point, I think you're being a bit closed off to other soup brands?
I've tried it with other soups. It's not the same.
There must be a, there must be a suit that's going to toe behind.
Well, there must be like some fancy one.
No, the fancy, the worse.
Okay.
Can I say by the way, soup when it gets fancy,
fuck off.
Like, soup should be like, I think it's like...
Yeah.
Somebody, I went to a dinner party.
Yeah.
And somebody had made
Jamie Oliver recipe tomato soup
and brought it.
Everybody was bringing a course.
Best tomato soup I've ever had.
What are you getting on that for?
Well, because that's a fucking bit of a...
Someone's been asked to make a start
and they made tomatoes.
suit. By the way, I bet it came out of a tin.
No, he didn't. What, so? So they made it with
real tomatoes? I think so, yeah.
Could I just say that person, a little bit of me?
Why? I just think that they could have made anything
for a starter. I think they'd
agreed in advance what they were going to have.
By the way, this is 20 years ago. This person's
getting fucking roasted. A little bit like
the tomatoes, I believe she did, to break them down.
Yeah, well, yeah, you roast them,
get the skins off. Yeah.
A little bit of honourable. So you think this person's a piece
of shit for bringing tomato soup. And it was a
best tomato soup I've ever had.
Yeah, but have you had Heinz tomato soup?
Yeah, I've had Heinz tomato soup.
I think Heinzumato soup is the best tomato soup in the world.
Okay.
I'm just shatting it out.
I think it's incredible.
So you've tried Baxter?
What else have you tried?
All of the own brands.
I've tried the high-end, like, you know, ones that come in a plastic tub.
Those ones.
You know, homemade I've never tried.
I have made homemade tomato soup.
So you're also a piece of shit.
Yeah, no, no.
No, but I wouldn't never take it to it.
No, my point is I wouldn't take it to a dinner party.
Right.
If you called me up and went, hey, mate, it's me.
Why are you talking so loud?
I'm excited.
Me and Lisa are having a dinner party.
Everyone's doing a different course.
Beckett's doing the main course.
Josh is doing the desserts.
We put you in for starter.
I'm like, okay, right.
How do I impress everyone?
So what would you make?
I probably would go, oh, man, it's tough actually.
I'd probably go for a cheese souffle for the,
for the...
Like everyone else.
Normal baby, yeah.
Just say.
And then for you, well,
I need that tomato soup.
I'd probably make you some tomatoes soup.
So you would bring a tomato soup?
No, I was joking.
I was being...
But if somebody brought a cheese sioux flay
as a starter, I would just...
No, I'd have to...
No, but you just sort of go,
do you want to fucking relax?
What are you doing?
You try my cheese soup flay.
I'm sure it's delightful.
I'm probably, right.
I make you want with vegan cheese.
No, I'd get there and go,
hey, Lisa, how you doing you're all right?
Hey, babe.
Ron, what are you out to?
What are you out to?
match it on in charge of the Vino
right
John don't
encourage it
and I'll go
could I use the oven
because this has to come out of the oven
it has to be hot
obviously Beckett's in doing the main course
he's done a casserole
Josh is probably done a float in Ireland
and he's really like oh fucking we had these in Paris
I mean so
so yeah
I find it's so funny looking at your face
it's basically laugh
but anyway
What I'm saying is a tomato soup just feels like an easy win.
Yeah.
So you get the tomato soup, has to be high,
stick it in the microwave.
You get a little bit over the lot of time
so you get that film around the top of the bowl.
The sort of the edge.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Then put your watsits in.
Leave it three to five minutes.
Some of the watsits let them sink in.
How many, are you putting a whole bag?
No, I'll put half a bag.
And then what I do is once I've eaten those,
I'll then rewats it.
You re-top up, okay, good.
But let me say giant watsits.
Get the spicy giant wotsets.
They're really amicable.
I mean, even the misuse of that is incorrect.
It's beautiful with the chili and cheese together.
Yeah.
If you've got the budget.
Yeah.
If you've got the budget for what's essentially very much a council estate meal.
Yeah.
It's delicious.
So, yeah, I'd say that's a really, give that a try.
Yeah, give it a try.
There you go.
I hope that helps.
Good luck to you.
Dear Wolf, Owl and Coyote.
way, yay. That's nice. I've recently left uni, gone straight into a job, completely changing the structure of my life.
I moved out of my uni house and now find myself living alone for the first time.
I still see mates and I'm lucky to have a strong support network. However, for the first time ever, I find myself alone for evenings with nothing to do.
Have you guys learnt to enjoy your own company, enjoy being by yourself? Unless I get myself out of the house, or going to have to do something with a mate, I find myself feeling very lonely, listless and bored.
Especially on weekend nights, I go to bed, feel.
like I've sort of wasted the evening, feeling lonely or hankering for a bit of the devil's lettuce.
There's almost something to do.
I know this is something everyone has to learn, but I was just hoping for your advice and how you went about it.
Hmm.
What is the devil's lettuce?
Marijuana.
Okay.
I think.
Anyway, go on.
What would you do?
What's your advice, sorry?
Firstly, I think you're young.
Correct.
So I think that there's a lot to be said about...
Great advice.
Feeling that you are...
The world is moving quicker than it actually is.
I think when you get to our age, it starts moving quick.
I think when I take myself back to being that age,
I think I was very similar.
I always want to be around people.
I was like that until about 30 probably, early 30s.
And then I was seeing a girl and she said to me,
you can't be on your own, can you?
And I was, what do you mean?
She was like, if we were, I was living with it at the time,
she was like, but if she's out doing something,
you can't just sit, you know, you have to be around.
people even if it's just going to the pub and you're only meeting people you have you
constantly you need other people um you know whether that's phoma or whatever it was
and from there I started to look at that as a thing and I think one of the best things
that stand-up did because you travel a lot you're on your own a lot at when you're first
starting you tend to spend one more time on your own and then actually just reading
about the fact that the need for other people's company like trying as best you can
and I think one of the things
kind of makes that difficult
as life goes on and you're set with your own
you can go into two ways of being
you can go into where you're at the moment
where you're like thinking about that
being a negative
or you know and you know
especially when you know you've lived a bit of a life
and you sit there and you know
you can sometimes get into a bit of a down space
which even now I do
I think when you have got that time on your own
I think it's tried to sort of
just try work ways of enjoying it
try to have things that you do, cook yourself a nice meal or silly is that sound.
So you're doing something where you feel like, you know, you're learning something or you're
growing or, you know, or watch a series on your own or go out on your own to go to cinema
on your own, go for a meal.
That's the one thing that being away is a, even, you know, you're on jobs as a scaffold, but acting
or whatever.
And sometimes you'd be in a cast where you don't really know anyone and you spend quite a lot
of time on your own.
And actually, I quite enjoy that time now.
I try to, you read, you know, whatever.
You know, play FIFA quite a lot.
But I think actually...
Just a bit.
Cherish that time rather than feeling negative about it.
And also just, I think sometimes I, you know,
without sounding a bit cliche,
I sometimes found myself in company,
and a lot of the time still do.
I could be with a lot of people
and feel actually almost the loniest I can feel
and I'm just being in people's company
for the sake of being in people's company
and actually being around people,
what I'm actually looking for in a sense
and I think actually being a better friend to yourself
and getting to know who you are
is the best thing I've ever done
is try to have that little bit of time
and realise what I actually need from friends
so the friends I have now are friends that I hold dear
there's not just people I just want to be around people
so I'm around anyone
the people I choose to be around
are people that I enjoy like Ramesh being around.
And I think that's the thing.
You can become a place.
And I spent 15, 20 years,
just being around people for the sake of being around people
because I didn't want to be on my own.
And I think that's the skill of it.
It's just going, oh, you know,
you're worthy of being people, you know,
that give you something and nourish you as a person.
I, great advice, really good.
Thank you, sir.
Really good.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I don't know if two men in their late,
thought we should be giving somebody of your age,
this guy's age advice about what to do.
But I think when you're younger,
you have this thing about like Friday and Saturday nights
where you just go, I have to be out, right?
Like everybody's out and I have to be out.
And one of the most liberating things you can experience,
and it only sort of happened to me when I was a bit older
is sort of going, oh, I don't actually have to do that.
Do you know, and then you end up going out
because you think that's a default setting,
I've got to go out, I've got to go out, I've got to go out.
And it's just shit a lot of the time.
And actually what happens is
I think like if you spend some time at home
and then you go out because you choose to go out
rather than you're supposed to,
you actually enjoy it a bit more.
Do you know what I mean?
And I think that in terms of like your question actually
is about figuring out what to do on your own,
I feel like, you know, I sort of think
just, I don't know, it feels like the obvious things,
watching stuff, reading, playing stuff.
You can still, you can still,
talk to mates even though you're at home on your own.
More than we could back in the day.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
But I think part of the problem you've got is not learning to be on your own.
I feel like the problem is you've got you've got crippling FOMO,
which is where you think everybody else is out and about having an amazing time and I'm not.
And actually, once you'd sort of free yourself of that belief,
then actually you can get on with the business of engaging with your own evening and having a nice time.
I think that you can get so caught up
and everyone's out and about
and you can be out and about if you want to
but you don't have to be all the time
and I think that's the thing where
when you're younger
you just think I've got to be out
getting smashed or whatever every night
and you don't
but I did do for a bit
and it was a mistake
beautiful
that's good advice
I don't know what you're up to
man
that's a real snaky little round of applause
I went to do it
and what you did really was
you took another
the touch of the ball.
I thought you were going to put the ball through.
And you held on to it for a little bit of a maze you dribble.
Thank you so much.
That's beautiful.
Thank you.
Well done.
Thanks, mate.
That's about all we've got time for.
