The Justice Department is now investigating an anti-ice protest that disrupted a church service this week in Minnesota.
A group of protesters stormed into a Sunday service in St. Paul shouting and reportedly getting into the faces of churchgoers.
They targeted that church because the pastor there had reportedly been working in the field with immigration and customs enforcement.
Department of Justice, senior advisor Alina Haba says she expects that Attorney General Pam Bondi will hold.
hold them accountable. She will come down hard. The Department of Justice will come down hard.
Our civil rights division will come down hard. She said the Trump administration will take action
against anyone who tries to impede or intimidate someone in a place of worship or who goes after
law enforcement. The European Union held an emergency meeting Sunday over President Trump's
push to buy Greenland. Trump says he plans to impose 10% tariffs starting February 1st on a list
of U.S. allies who are not on board with the Greenland takeover bid. Treasury Secretary Scott Besant
remarked today. The president is looking at Greenland as a strategic asset for the United States.
We are not going to outsource our hemispheric security to anyone else.
But some EU countries are pushing back on the tariff announcement. Denmark's prime minister
said Europe will not be blackmailed while others have vowed that the EU would retaliate.
We are learning more about the Trump administration's Board of Peace to oversee the Reconstruction of Gaza.
A spokesman for the European Commission said today that the Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has been invited to join the board.
At this stage, we can confirm the receipt of the invitation.

The heads of Thailand and Belarus have also been invited, and one name in particular is raising eyebrows, Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, though, says,

but goes on to express support for Trump's leadership.
At least 40 people are now confirmed dead after a high-speed train collision in southern Spain.

Officials warn the death toll could rise further,
with dozens of injured passengers still hospitalized.
The crash happened Sunday evening near the town of Adam Muth,
when the rear of a train from Malaga to Madrid-Durray,
and slammed into an oncoming train heading from Madrid to Welva.
The impact hurled several cars off the tracks and down an embankment.
Rescue crews worked through the night to recover victims from crushed rail cars.
Investigators say the cause of the accident is still unclear.
