Millions of Americans are digging out from under snow and ice,
even as the tail end of a massive winter storm continued to drop snow today.
The system has carved a path of more than 1,300 miles from Arkansas to New England.
It brought heavy snow, sleet, and ice across much of the country
and has been linked to at least 18 weather-related deaths so far.
Tennessee was especially hard hit.
One resident from Nashville said his family packed up and left home.
We started looking at hotels.
Tons of places were sold out.
It was pretty astounding.
And fortunately, we were able to find a wonderful place.
Many roads remain closed with thousands of flights canceled.
And hundreds of thousands of homes from the south into the northeast are still without power after freezing rain snapped trees and power lines.
And more snow was expected today in parts of New England as bitter cold air settles in.
A grim milestone in Gaza.
World's Mary Reiker has more.
Members of the Israeli military sing the Israeli national anthem and salute
as the remains of the last remaining Israeli hostage are recovered.
Officials say the body of 24-year-old police officer Ron Gavili was discovered today
during a large-scale search of a cemetery in northern Gaza.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,
Speaking to members of Parliament says there are no more hostages remaining in Gaza.
The hostages and Missing Families Forum says Gavili fought bravely against Hamas terrorist on October 7th,
despite recovering from a previous motorcycle injury.

More than a dozen people were killed after a ferry boat carrying more than 300 people sank off the coast of the Southern Philippines.
Officials said at least 18 bodies were recovered from the water after a ship sank early Monday morning,
while two dozen others remained missing.
Philippine Coast Guard Chief Admiral Ronnie Gilgavan said an investigation is underway.
What I can say is the ship is not overloaded.
It has a maximum passenger capacity of 350,
and the actual passengers on board, as declared by the master, is 332.
Roughly 300 people were safely rescued.
And in Indonesia, search crews in West Java are racing to find survivors
after a deadly landslide swept through a mountainside village.
Authorities say 42 people are still missing,
including 19 Indonesian Marines who were training in the area
when the slide hit over the weekend.
At least 17 people are confirmed dead.
More than 2,000 rescue workers are digging by hand
and using heavy equipment,
but steady rain and unstable ground are slowing the search.
