At the White House today, President Trump unveiled the deal with drug makers Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk to expand coverage and cut prices of their popular obesity treatments, Zepbound and Wigovi.
The drugs are part of a new generation of obesity medications known as GLP1 receptor agonists that have soared in popularity in recent years.
This will slash the cost of Wigovi from $1,350 a month to ultimately $2,000.
$250 a month.
$1,350 to $250.

In the Middle East,
Israeli tanks were seen near Israel's border with Lebanon today
as jets struck three towns in southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military had given residents' advance notice
urging them to evacuate.
Israeli government spokeswoman Shosh Bhedrosian said

A federal judge
in Texas has dismissed a
criminal conspiracy charge against
Boeing. World's Benjamin
Eicher reports. The case
was related to crashes involving
2-737-max jets that killed nearly 350 people.
U.S. District Judge Reid O'Connor approved the federal government's request on Thursday.
The deal requires Boeing to pay or invest an additional $1.1 billion in fines, compensation
for victims' families, and internal safety measures. The ruling follows a September hearing
where victims' relatives urged the judge to appoint a special prosecutor.
Prosecutors alleged that Boeing deceived regulators about a flight control system
implicated in the 2018 and 2019 crashes.

The family of a Malaysian Christian pastor abducted seven years ago has won a landmark settlement.
Malaysia's High Court ruled that the government was responsible for the disappearance of Raymond Coe in 2017.
The family will receive more than $7 million.
in damages, and because Coe is still missing, the government must pay $2,400 in damages each day
until his whereabouts are known. Many believe the government targeted Coe for evangelizing to Muslims.
