Starting point is 00:00:00 With World Radio News, I'm Paul Butler. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says Venezuela must stop working with domestic and international terrorists. There's one place that doesn't cooperate, and it's the illegitimate regime in Venezuela. Not only do you do not cooperate with us, they openly cooperate with terrorists and criminal elements. He accused Maduro of working with Hezbollah, Iran, and Latin American guerrilla forces, not to mention Venezuela drug cartels. Since September, the U.S. military has... has killed more than a hundred suspected drug runners, striking boats in international waters.
Starting point is 00:00:34 Venezuela's government denies the accusations and accuses the U.S. of attempting to overthrow the government. The suspected Brown University shooter has been found dead. Police discovered his body in a New Hampshire storage facility. The man was a Portuguese national and former Brown University student. Officials are also accusing him of killing an MIT professor. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told Fox and Friends that many departments have been working around the clock to find the alleged perpetrator.
Starting point is 00:01:06 This was an all-out effort by the FBI, by ATF, working with our state and local partners. What you see and what you saw yesterday is a result of those efforts. The suspected shooter worked hard to evade detection, replacing the plates on his rental car, and using multiple phone SIM cards to hide his locations. officials have not yet disclosed a motive behind the killings. Russian President Vladimir Putin says his forces have fully seized strategic initiative and will make more gains by year's end. During a highly produced four-and-a-half-hour news conference, Putin boasted that the Kremlin would achieve its goals militarily
Starting point is 00:01:46 if Kiev doesn't agree to Russia's conditions. The Russian president also downplayed Western claims about Russian plans to attack European nations, claiming that those accusations were aimed at deflecting public attention from their own domestic problems. And finally, Hobby Lobby is celebrating Christmas by giving away a special gift.

The home decor and craft chain is giving away half a million copies of the newly revised edition of The Case for Christmas, a book defending the biblical account of the Nativity by former journalist and author Lee Strobel. The baby in the manger is the divine, miracle working, grace offering, resurrected one and only son of God. Struggle says he's praying God uses the books to introduce people to Jesus.
