Several countries are rejecting President Donald Trump's calls for them to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz to help protect oil tankers passing through.
Speaking during his meeting with Irish Prime Minister Tao Tao Teeshook Michael Martin today,
the president criticized NATO partners and European allies.
And he says he doesn't have any consequences in mind yet, but...
When they don't help us, I mean, it's certainly something that we should.
should think about, I don't need Congress for that decision, as you probably know, I can make that
decision myself. Iran says only certain countries will be allowed to send ships through the
strait. The attacks on oil tankers and refining facilities have caused oil prices to spike.
In London, the president of Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with British
Prime Minister Kier Starmor today. Starrmer said it's important that the world not forget
the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
There is obviously a conflict in Iran and going on in the Middle East,
but we can't lose focus on what's going on in Ukraine.
Zelensky thanked Starmor for his support, adding,
We really had very difficult winter.
God bless it in the past, but we can't just sleep.
We have to move very quickly.
Zelensky added that the two leaders plan to discuss energy security during their meeting.
The Justice Department's Commission on Religious Liberty heard testimony on Monday
about obstacles to faith in health care and social services.
World's Harrison Waters has more from Washington.
Nurse practitioner Abby Senate was among the witnesses.
She told commissioners that Colorado settled a lawsuit over treatments to reverse chemical abortions,
but other states have not.
Other witnesses and board members pointed at government policies violating freedom of religion
in issues tied to so-called transgenderism, abortion, and assisted suicide.
President Trump formed the Commission last May to investigate the foundations of religious liberty in America
and challenges facing it.
The Commission meets once more in April before submitting its final report in May.

A new study in the Lancet Psychiatry Journal is pushing back on the growing popularity of medical marijuana.
researchers at the University of Sydney combed through 54 randomized controlled trials spanning 45 years,
testing cannabis products against numerous conditions.
Their conclusion, the evidence supporting its effectiveness is weak across the board.
