Today I'm going to be talking about the 4B movement, a movement which has kicked off online since it was officially announced that President Trump will be returning to the White House in January.
So what is the 4B movement?
The 4B movement is a movement which started among women in South Korea who were protesting what they felt was gender inequality.
South Korea has a widespread domestic violence problem. There are a lot of issues with violence against
women in South Korea. The women of South Korea wanted to protest against that. So they started this
movement called 4B, which meant that they will practice abstinence, refrain from dating men,
refrain from marrying men, and not have children with men. So basically, it is this general boycott
of interaction and association with men. The South Korean women who kicks
started this movement definitely had legitimate concerns and problems that they were raising about
violence in their society. However, the way this movement is taking shape in America is not the
same at all. American women are frustrated because Trump is going to become president again,
and they claim he's going to take away women's rights. So here's an example of one of those
women. This is Art Angela Alexa on TikTok. Marriage as a tradition is just, it's always just
been a way to show your ownership over a woman. I don't think that's romantic at all. For the women
that are actually wanting to participate in the 4B movement, decenter men, right? DeCenter men
from your life. So that about sums it up. This movement is really about decentering men.
And in particular, I do think it's about these women wanting to feel like their victims
and wanting to be able to claim the oppressed label.
So what is my reaction to this whole movement?
I mean, frankly, I'm not surprised.
I think you do have this high demand for oppression.
You have this high demand for victimhood.
Everyone wants to be seen as a victim because that's what's popular right now.
That's what gets the views.
That's what gets the likes.
and on. These people thrive off of attention. But I also think there is some element of just
complete and utter brainwashing that a lot of these women have been subjected to over the past
four years, eight years, however long, where some of them are legitimately convinced that a Trump
presidency will spell the end of their rights as women. And I think that speaking, that's
speaks to how effective the media and politicians and people on social media and on the internet
have been at drumming up outrage and fear and have made these women legitimately scared for
their lives because of the prospect of a Trump presidency. The brainwashing really does
run deep. Here's an example of that. This is the underscore Mrs.
Sally on TikTok.
I don't know what the 4B movement is.
Korean women had decided to stop having babies until they received equal rights and their
country was screwed because they weren't having enough kids.
Their population was going down too quickly.
I cannot believe that that was something that had to be done and that now we are at our
rock bottom and this is where we are at.
It's videos like this and other videos where American women are talking about losing their rights
that I just find incredibly out of touch to the rest of the world.
As American women, we enjoy so many rights and privileges.
The fact that we are equal here in America to men is such a privilege that I don't think
people understand at all anymore.
For American women to be getting online and talking about losing their rights
when there are women in other countries being systemically
oppressed is absolutely insane to me and I will never, ever understand that. So that is the
4B movement and that is a brief summary of what's been going on over these past few weeks.
