Yes, Colin McCurnan threw for over 200 yards.
He was named the G-Mac player of the week,
and Shea Ruddy and Tutt Carico both had excellent games,
each having a touchdown grab,
and Shea Ruddy leads the G-MAC in all-purpose yards this season,
as Ty Ruddy is messing with some of the wrong knobs.
these you do not touch we're good we're good we are now good hopefully everything sounds good
over the air well it's the season finale ted and tie been on the call for the last five
four home games this will be the fit so stay tuned for some new stuff you know i was actually
walking down the hall the other day professor green logic and rhetoric professor said he
listens to the program really so wonderful we might have to give a shout out to the professor of the
week sponsored by a 101.7 radio free hillsdale professor professor timothy green will uh
give you more coverage on that but here it looks like hillsdale lost the toss they're going to
and ohio dominican's going to defer until the second half oh how dominican they have a stronger defense
Offense has been typically weaker in history, but fielded by Ruddy at the goal line,
running left.
He's to the 15, the 20 ahead is steam to the 30, and hit down at the 39-yard line.
Shea Ruddy, the G-Mack, leader in all-purpose yards, has a 39-yard kickoff return,
and out comes Colin McCurnet and company to start out this ball game, 14-52 left in the first quarter.
man ruddy with a nice it seems like towards the end of the season there's been more production out of the charger ball club
I mean the last this is the third season now rough start at the beginning of the year and now finishing strong so
we'll see how the chargers do here mccurne in the gun gishu two is left carrico and metzger to the far side
McCurnan back to pass.
He's got Metzger down the field and into Ohio Dominican Territory
down to the 31-yard line.
Play action, pass.
McCurnan hit Metzger on a post-rout.
Beautiful pitch and catch there.
And the first play of the game for the Charger offense is deep into Ohio Dominican territory.
And that's one thing Hillsdale has had trouble with all year is getting their offense going early.
First down in 10 for McCurnan.
Chargers at the Ohio Dominican 30, 1421 left in the first quarter.
Gishu 2 is left.
It's a Givshoe running right, looking for some blocks.
He's to the 29, 25, and tight rope back down the sidelines
before being hit out of bounds of the 16-yard line.
Two plays, Chargers in the Red Zone.
Maddox on the tackle and charges.
Chargers get another first down.
Fresh set of downs at the Ohio Dominican 16.
Some substitutions here.
Scura checks in.
Pratt checks out.
Chargers went a little bit faster on that last play.
They're slowing it down now with a huddle.
The play's been called in.
Ruddy and Pratt to the far side.
McCurnan in the gun, Gishu to his left.
16-yard line.
There's two plays in for Hillsdale, going two-hour right.
McCurnon.
Rolls left.
Now he's coming back to the right.
Makes one man miss.
He's inside the 15.
Forced out at about the 7-yard line.
Man, McCurnan's been showing some really versatility with his legs.
And he gets a nice game there.
Gain of 8.
It'll be second down in 2.
Balls at the Ohio Dominican 8.
Now McCurnan's under.
center, ruddy to the far side, Pratt to the near, Gishu in the backfield.
Motion from Ruddy from left to right.
It's a give to Gishu up the gut, and he gets back to the line of scrimmage.
So that's a big stop there from Hottomanican.
Their strength, as I mentioned before, is their defense.
I mean, they've super talented secondary.
Keep an eye on R.J. Maddox, Caden Holmes.
They've combined for seven total interceptions this season.
So if McCurnan's going to want to throw it through the air,
it's going to have to be accurate passes.
Third down in two, 1232 left in the first quarter.
McCurnan in the gun, Riffle to his left, Ruddie to his right.
Colin Davis, tight end right, too, in the backfield, including Rudy.
McCurman keeps and up the middle, and he gets a first down inside the five-yard line.
There were two tight ends in the game.
Slocum to the left, Davis to the right.
It was motion from Ruddy, and McCurna takes it up the middle.
First down and goal, four yards to go.
12-03 left, first quarter, Hillsdale, nothing.
Ohio, Dominican, nothing.
McCurnan, in the gun, Riffle to his left, Slocombe is the tide,
and Davis has the right tight ends.
Ruddy to the far side.
It's 1-V-1, keeping on that matchup.
McCurnin, rolls.
left looking for ruddy throws
caught touchdown
chargers
and the offense
looked great on that
possession just slice it and dicing
one of the best defenses in the G-back
a very efficient drive there from hillsdale
that was designed
all the way as the as the corner
route rolling right
rolling left from mccernan
I think he was going to run it
If Shea wasn't open.
Could have.
Pretty difficult to defend Shea in open field.
Judario to make this a seven-point game.
The kick is up, and it's good.
Hillsdale, College 7, Ohio, Dominican, nothing.

Welcome back to Frank Muddywater Stadium.
Chargers draw first blood against the Panthers of Ohio Dominican 7 to nothing.
Touchback kit kick from Evan Mick is going to set up Carson Parker and the Ohio Dominican offense at the Hillsdale 25.
Carson Parker, Ohio native, he's a true freshman completing over 70 percent.
of his passes he's really injected a lot of life into this panther offense Parker in the gun
two receivers to the far side one to the air it's a play action pass caught by the tight end out to the
32 yard line Zach Stevens on the grab man right away sack Stevens six four 200 pounds
athletic junior for the Panthers and he's going to be a challenge for this hillsdale
secondary that has struggled at times throughout this year.
So that's a matchup to keep an eye on.
First down in 10 for the Panthers.
No, not first down in 10.
The scoreboard is wrong.
Second down in three.
Parker in the gun.
Rucker, two is left.
Two receivers to the far side.
One to the near.
Give to Rucker, and he turns it up the field first.
First down out to the 38-yard line.
Drake Badger on the tackle for the chargers, but it moves the chains.
So far, one pass,
one run and the Panthers get the first, first down of the ball game.
10.42 left in the first quarter.
Parker, in the gun.
Rucker, two is right.
Three receivers to the far side, one to the near.
It's first down in 10 at the Panther 38.
Play action, Parker, and it's a pitch and catch out to the 40.
four-yard line. It's a six-yard gain.
And Panthers doing well to get ahead of the chains. They're not getting behind. No flag so far.
Really efficient passing here from Parker goes to show why he has such a high QBR rating.
He wasn't the start at the beginning of the year. He was replaced, or he replaced a veteran quarterback and has really helped out this Ohio Dominican offense.
now he's in the in pistol, Rucker in the backfield with a motion from Stevens from left to right to give to Rucker up the middle and he gets out to midfield.
That's another first down.
So as O'DU starts to mix up their offense a little bit, their offensive attack with passes and run, it's going to be key to keep an eye on this Hillsdale defense line, which has been a strong spot for the Hillsdale Chargers this year.
See how they hold up against this mediocre ODU offense.
We'll see if the defense can stop and stop them.
Hillsdale, leading Ohio Dominican, 7-0.
Parker, in the gun.
Rucker, two is left.
One receiver to the far side, one to the near.
Play action.
Parker, looking over the middle.
It's deflected and nearly intercepted by Ryan Nixie at the 38-yard line.
Jonah Jensen, deflecting a Parker pass that was intended for a man.
Open on the post.
Great play from the Air Force transfer.
Neil Likens checks into the game now. Hudson Jones checks out for Hillsdale.
See if the defense can get a stop here.
It's second down in 10.
Parker in the gun, Rucker, two is left.
Two receivers to the far side, two in the ear.
Balls at the Ohio Dominican, 49.
Motion from Stevens from right to left.
Parker, back to pass, looking left.
He's going to move up into the pocket.
He's to the 45.
Ivan, man, runs over Colin Morrow at the Hillsdale 48 and gets out of bounds for a third down and medium.
Was not expecting that.
I thought Colin Morrow was going to lick his chops there.
Nor was I, but Carson Parker is a big guy.
He's 6'3, 225 pounds.
He's only a registered freshman, but that's the sort of size that matches up well against a cornerback.
Hillsdale brought the house on that last one.
Vance was on a blitz, able to flush them out of the pocket.
We'll see what they do here.
Parker, over 888 yards of passing this year.
It's going to be a third down and four.
They're in the Charger territory at the 45.
Motion from Stevens from right to left.
Parker in the gun, give to Rucker.
He makes one man miss, but he's not going to get the first down.
Hit down at the 43-yard line.
It's going to be a fourth down in about two.
And what an effort there from Jacob Vance,
who made the initial contact
bounced off the running back
and then still made the tackle
on the other side of the field later in the play.
Fourth down and two.
Balls at the Charger, 43,
759 left in the first quarter.
Hillsdale leads, Ohio Dominicans,
seven to nothing.
And Ohio Dominican's going to opt to go for this one.
Parker, in the gun.
Rucker to his left.
Three receivers, they're all to the near side.
Parker it's a quarterback power all the way and he's not going to get it not going to get it
stopped by the Hillsdale defense at the line of scrimmage it's going to be a turnover on downs
Hudson Jones able to stuff that play up and bring the O'DU offense to a screeching halt on the
Hillsdale 44 yard line 42 yard line so out
comes the charger offense great field position position excuse me man i did not get enough sleep
last night i went to bed at 11 p.m now everyone time might be a little grumpy he went to bed at 3 a.m
he's coming out with the new movie that he's directing what's it called again he can promo it there is no
there is no title he needs a title mccurman in the gun first down to 10 for the chargers at their own
42 pratt to the far side metzger to the near it's quarterback power
to the right. McCurnan's out in space.
Hit down into Ohio, Dominican Territory at the 38-yard line.
And McCurnan's legs are playing a factor here early.
First down charges.
First down chargers, and we'll keep you updated on some Notre Dame scores.
My fight in Irish are leading Pittsburgh 14 to 3.
It's the site of college game day.
The scores I want to keep an eye on are Indiana today.
They struggled last week against a very bad Penn State team.
First down in 10.
The Chargers inside Ohio Dominican Territory at the 38.
653 left in the first quarter.
Gishu 2 is righted to give to Gishu running right.
He makes a cut at the 35 spins down to the 33-yard line.
Freshman of the year right there for the Chargers.
It's not even...
No doubt about it.
Ben Gishu.
Ben Gishu is an absolute weapon that I don't even think they were expecting
when they came into camp.
They kind of discovered him in that second week there
when they finally put pads on.
And he was their offense for the first half of the year.
Ben Gishu, a 5-990-pound freshman out of Crowley, Texas.
He's having a lot of production for the Chargers in his freshman year.
Second down in five, charges at the Panther 33.
McCurnan, in the gun.
Back to pass, looking left.
He finds Gishu out in the flat at the 38.
issues tackled out in space. Nice wrap-up tackle there from Caden Holmes, the standout
sophomore linebacker for this Ohio Dominican defense and that much vetted GMAC defense that
has really caused a lot of problems for GMAC foes. I mean, Finley 8-0 undefeated in GMAC conference
play and they only beat Ohio Dominican by seven points. Both these teams, in fact.
Chargers only lost to Finley by two, and Ohio Dominican by seven.
McCurnan, in the gun, third down in six.
They're at the Panther 34.
McCurnet, back to pass, and he's going to get sacked in the backfield all the way back to the 40
by that panther defense.
A pride of Panthers gets to McCurnan, and it's going to make it fourth down in about 15.
A kick from here would make it about 55 yards.
Braden Childs has done it before.
The longest field goal in the GMAC this year is 41 yards.
Wow.
Kicking is hard.
Especially for college kickers.
You know, it's not their full-time job.
So a charger is going to punt this one away.
Ian Woodier to punt this one away for the Chargers,
standing at his own 49.
Cornell back deep to receive it for the Panthers.
It's going to bounce at the Panthers.
10 hang a right and get out of bounds at the six yard line great punt there by woodward
great punt from woodyard and story of the game so far is field position chargers start out their
first possession after a 39 yard kickoff return from ruddy out to the 39 and then after
a turnover on downs from the panthers they start at the 42 yard line panthers on the other hand start
their first possession at the 25 and now the five so man you can help yourself out a lot
lot by where you start the drives really minimizes what you can call so here we go parker in the
backfield rucker in the back field with him it's a give to rucker up the middle and he gets out
to the 12 yard line second down in five mark on ruckers a gain a gain of four
Five is going to make it, excuse me, a game of six, rather,
is going to make it a second down in four, four-twenty-three left.
In the first quarter, Hillsdale, 7, Ohio, Dominican nothing.
Parker in the gun, Rucker, two is left, two receivers to the far side,
two to the near.
Parker, looking left, now he's going to run to the pocket.
He's got one band to beat, and he gets hit out to the 27-yard line.
That was a little 1-V-1 open-field tackling with Coast Davis,
and Coast Davis with a little shoestring tackle there,
but it looked like that was a designed quarterback run all the way.
Parker, little has he in the back field, and then boom, straight up the gut.
They had five receivers running straight down the field.
He had a lot of room there, so that was a great open field tackle there by Cost Davis.
First down in 10 for the Panthers, at their own 27.
Parker in the gun, Rucker to his left, two receivers to the far side, one to the near.
Give to Rucker, running right, he cuts.
Up, about to the 32-yard line, put his foot in the ground up to 25 and gets a,
four-yard gain to make it a second down
and medium.
Draged down there by Luke Panola.
Luke Panola,
natives of Seinesville, Indiana.
Starter for the Chargers this year.
Didn't get much production last year,
but really has become
a name this year for the Hillsdale defense.
Pistol Formation.
Rucker in the backfield with Parker.
One receiver to the far side, two to
the near second down and six of the 31 it's a keep with parker and he gets nowhere
in the back field by heaven bianick's going to make it a third down and about five
bianic did really well there to not fall for that the eye candy of that rPO with rucker
I got to give a shout out to Mother Nature.
That's a great day for football.
60 degrees. November 15.
Come on.
Can't beat it.
Parker, in the gun.
Rucker, two is right, three receivers to the far side, one in the air.
It's a third down in five.
Panthers up the 32.
Quarterback keep all up the middle by Parker,
and he's going to get a first down out to the 45-yard line.
Another design run there from Parker.
And the Chargers should be cognizant.
of the freshman,
freshman's running abilities.
45 versus 10 for the Panthers.
First down for the Panthers at their own, 45.
They're trying to get back in this ball game.
Chargers lead, the Panthers, 7-0.
1-40 left in the first quarter.
Ohio Dominican, taking their time now.
Parker got the play out to his boys.
It's pistol.
Rucker in the backfield with him, two to the far side,
two to the near.
It's a give to Rucker.
Up the middle, he gets inside of Charger Territory.
Out to the 42-yard line.
Second down and two for the Panthers.
And now, Ohio Dominican's going to take their time a bit.
Parker's getting the play out in the huddle.
Finally, they set up.
Second down in two, 56 seconds left in the first quarter.
Hillsdale 7, a hot American set.
Nothing.
Parker, back to pass, play action.
And he throws.
It looks like he got a man down field, but he overthrows him.
Layton Scott on coverage.
Calls for pass interference.
None given.
Third down in two.
And some great pressure there by Drake Badger in the backfield,
who, in all likelihood, will tomorrow evening when MVP of the Hillsdale Chargers
football team for the year of
2025. He's had a great
season, especially at home.
I feel like we've called his name a lot
in some of those home games that
we've called. It's Hillsdale
Senior Day. They're graduating
18.
Young men on this football
team that have really
helped the Charger football squad
in a variety of ways. Third down
in two. 42 seconds left
in the first quarter.
Parker back to pass.
throws incomplete
Coast Davis on the coverage
Ohio Dominicans at the
Charger 47 and now it's a fourth
down and two in the exact same spot
it was last possession
we'll see if Ohio Dominican goes for it here
no they do not they send out
the punting unit
and on comes the
Charger special teams as well but when
there's punts it means
Shay Ruddy has a chance to house call
the football so he's
standing at the charger the most
Electric play in football.
Yard line.
The most electric player in football, I think Jeremiah Love is.
Play.
Oh, nearly blocked by Kyle Riffle.
And Shea Ruddy lets it bounce.
It's going to fall into the end zone.
And charges are going to set up the third possession of the game at their own 25.
Close to getting blocked.
But Shay Roney, wait for the fair catch and really act like he.
I'm always wary of a little bit of trickery, especially in the special teams.
as teams get toward the end of the season
neither of these teams probably will make a bowl game
so you sort of just want to empty the bag
you know I expect to see a little bit of
trickery especially in special teams
maybe we'll see maybe some on offense
I came here early to set up and I was hearing
murmurs of a bowl game of whoever won this game
they would play in a bowl game
I think I heard the same thing I think it depends on what
Finley does today right okay
we got Eli Boyce in the gun
for the Chargers now. First down in 10
for the Chargers at the 25. Play action
toss out to Carrico. He's at
the 25 makes a man miss and
out to the 29-yard line.
Flag flies at the 25-yard line.
There's a penalty marker at the 25.
So we'll see
what the verdict is.
Looks like it's holding on the Chargers.
Holden. Offense.
We're 16. 10-year penalty.
Gillsdale.
10-yard penalty is going to put the chargers back to their own 10-yard line,
trying to add to this 7-point lead over Ohio Dominican.
Hillsdale 7, Ohio-Dominican, nothing.
Man, even though that play was called back,
Carrico made a 4-yard play, turn into a 9-yard play.
I'm of nothing.
Ruddy, Keriko, the most fun football players to watch in D-2.
At least in the G-D-KIN.
That I've seen.
in the D-2.
No.
In D-2.
I was tuning in to the
Ole Miss game
and Trinidad
Shambliss,
the starting quarterback
for All-Miss
was the starting quarterback
for Ferris State last year,
which just goes to show
the Gleak especially.
Very talented.
D-2 football,
which I think
Hillsdale was formerly in.
Hillsdale was about 15 years
ago in the Gliac.
In the Gliac,
yeah, you're exactly right,
is now become sort of a pipeline.
for division one there have been multiple quarterbacks especially in my time here at hillsdale
who have played for finley or tiffin who have gone on to play at i think washington or
oregon or those different places where maybe they play as a backup but it's a d1 pipeline so you
remember when i was saying the uh 101.7 radio free hillsdale professor of the week yes
Professor Green.
Now, I know
last week, or two weeks ago,
we thought someone was listening,
but they were actually here.
You're listening to the program.
And you have Twitter or something.
Share.
Share the link.
We would really appreciate it.
I will give you types of phone number on air.
You can text them.
I used to do that in high school,
and I was getting
random phone number.
numbers texting me months later. So I kind of regretted doing that. But, yeah, you can email Ty Ruddy
at T-R-R-D-D-Hillsdale.edu. That's T-R-U-D-D-Y at Hillsdale.E-D-U. Email us.
Boyce in the gun, Gushu to his right, first down and 20th to charge, 10. Voice, back to pass.
He's got a man downfield, and it's caught in midfield.
A catch, a diving grab there.
Braden Rabidow.
I have never heard of this guy.
Diving grab at midfield with the backup quarterback throwing a 30-yard bomb.
Give to Gishu running right and he gets over midfield out to the 48-yard line.
So Brayden Rabadu is a freshman.
Talk about a way to get yourself.
reps next camp talking about a way to get yourself a look for next season make a diving catch in
the last game of the year the chargers must be splitting time between the two quarterbacks because
mcernan had a fabulous two series and now we have the sophomore from holland michigan playing and that
30 yard pass was incredible second down and seven for the chargers at the ohio dominican 48
Karakow and Ruddy to the far side
Pratt to the near 1352 left
in the first half
Boyce in the gun
play action throws out to Ruddy in the
flat, he crosses the 45 makes one
and hits out of bounds on the 22 yard line
You see me
Now you don't
He made a Panther secondary
member look silly
Jay Ruddy the magician
On the football field moves the change
deep into panther territory first down for the chargers at the ohio dominican 26 yard line mass substitutions now 13 27 left in the second quarter hillsdale 7 ohio dominican nothing
boyce in pistol geishu in the backfield check that boyce is under center shade of the far side
metzger to the near voice back to pass straight drop looking towards metzger throws and it falls incomplete
A little over the head of the junior from Ashland, Ohio, and voice was hit in the backfield and was pressured on the throw.
Carson Slocum checks out, Carrico, and Skura check in.
Second down in 10. Chargers still at the Panther 26, trying to add to the 7-0 lead over Ohio, Dominican,
and end the season with a winning record for the third straight year.
Boyce in the gun, Gishu 2's left, Metzger and Karako to the far side, near side rather, Scurra to the far.
Boyce, back to pass, zips it into Skura, and it's going to get down to the, that pass makes it.
A gain of four and down to the Panther 22 yards, right?
That was a four-yard pass, and Boyce looked like he threw it about as hard as he could.
That was a laser.
Boyce fit it into tight coverage.
It's going to set up a third down in six.
Chargers at the Panther, 22.
Boyce in the gun, Gishu to his left.
Ruddy and Carrico to the far side.
Scur to the near, it's 1v1 down here with Ty Hilton's student.
Prodigy.
Boyce back to pass, and he's sacked in the backfield all the way back to the 32-yard line.
Spunned down.
And the Panthers get into the backfield.
Looking for a quick route on maybe a slant or a three-step fade here on the near side.
The O'DU brought the blitz and able to get there quick.
Now it's a fourth down and 13 for the chargers.
And they're going to go for it.
I think they're confident in their defense.
So here we go.
Third down and 13. Chargers at the 29. They have to get to the 16.
Boy, Senegal, Gishu's left, back to pass. Looking right, he's trying to find Skura.
Did he catch that?
It's incomplete. Ryan Scuro with a leaping grab at the five-yard line.
He caught it with one hand. I don't think he got to put it in.
And it was a one-handed grab that was ruled out of bounds.
So a heck of an effort there by Ryan Scuro. Just an amazingly athletic catch.
I'm unable to get the foot down, but if you cut that one at the right spot, that'll look good on film.
So out comes Carson Parker, two really nice drives that have ended in three and out, not three and outs, rather.
They tried on a fourth down and they elected upon it on another fourth and short.
So third possession of the game for the Panthers, first down in 10.
they're at the own 29 Parker in the gun
Rucker to his left two receivers the far side
one of the nearer give to Rucker running right
he crosses the 35 out to the
37 yard line
second down and two
coming up
they don't
they don't
they don't win that game
Ain't going to the college football playoff this year.
Yes, Pitt is 22, Notre Dame is nine.
Second down and two for Ohio Dominican at the Panther 32.
Blitz from the Chargers and a near interception from Jack.
The senior almost had a house call.
He might have had it if he didn't have a club on his right hand instead of.
And with that batted ball, it's third down and.
Two for Ohio Dominican.
Panthers have their own, 32.
They have to get to the 39-yard line to keep this drive alive.
Chargers, lead the Panthers, seven to nothing.
Parker, in the gun.
Rucker to his left.
One receiver to the far side, two to the near.
Motion from right to left, from the near-side receiver.
Give to Rucker, up the middle, and it's a first down-out, cross the 40-yard line.
That was a delayed handoff there from Parker at an RPO.
Parker and Rucker looked like they might have been scuffling over the ball,
and now they're talking in the back here.
Like, hey, who's was that?
But five-yard game-ish brings up a new set of downs.
First down in 10 for the Panthers at their own 42.
Carson Parker. In the gun, Rucker to his left, one receiver to the far side, two to the near.
Parker back to pass, throws out to Rucker in the flat. He's to the 40, and hit down by Colin Morrow for a loss of one.
Rucker, Morrow out in open space, and Morrow gets the better of him that time.
Mass substitutions for the Chargers as we get a constant rotation of defensive lineman to keep the boys fresh.
Second down in 12 for the Panthers at their own 40.
Parker in the gun, motion from Stevens from left to right.
Rucker in the backfield with him, Parker back to pass, looking, looking throws incomplete.
And that's going to be a third down in 12.
And Ryan Nixa on the coverage, the ball was overthrown.
intended for Jaden Cornell
and now it's a third down in
12. Really a coverage
sack there and we have some
substitutions now for the Chargers
Ryan Ruddy checks into the ball game.
Big third down for
that Hillsdale defense to get
this Panther offense off the field
Hillsdale 7
Ohio Dominican nothing
Parker in the gun Rucker to his left
Cornell to the far side
two receivers to the near
Parker back to pass
pressure from Panola
looking looking
throws incomplete
intended for Cornell
and it's going to be a fourth down
and 12 Parker shaking up on the play
some great pressure there
and some good zone coverage
from the Chargers
brings up a fourth down
and another chance
at an offensive drive
maybe make this one a little bit more
exciting before halftime
the score currently stands at 7 to
nothing with 9 minutes left in the second
Logan Orte standing
at his own
26 yard line Ruddy
back deep to receive standing at the
Charger 25 fair caught by
Ruddy at the 30
and he gets hit and no flag
it was a soft hit
it was more of a hug
more of a hug
and
I'll see you
The Chargers have out at quarterback, and Colin McKernan is back at the helm for the Chargers.
For his third possession after Eli Boyce had the last one.
9-17 left.
Second quarter, Hillsdale leads Ohio, Dominican, 7-0.
McCurnan, in the gun, Gishu, 2 is left.
Carrickone, ready to the far side, Pratt to the near.
They're at the Charger.
30. It's a quarterback power left for McCurnan, and he turns it up field to the 40-yard line.
And that's a 10-yard gain to start this drive.
And look at Carter Cushman, the senior, getting outfield the block for McCurton on that play.
About 12 yards from where he started.
First down and 10 for the Chargers at their own 40.
McCurton and the gun, Gishu, to his left, Brad to the near side, Carricone, ready to the fall.
847 left in the first half it's a first down in 10 McCurn and rolling right it's another design
quarterback run cuts it up the middle a bit takes a big hit at the 44 yard line and now it's a fourth
down excuse me it's a second down in six interesting play there two designed runs for the
quarterback when it's usually Eli Boyce that's doing the quarterback runs.
I was just about to say it's interesting that the charges are willing to run with
McCurnan today over Boyce.
McCurnan in the gun, Gishi to his left, second down in six.
Chargers at their own 44.
Ruddy and Metz and Ruddy and Carico to the far side, Pratt to the near.
McCurnan out to pass, pitch and catch to Carrico at midfield and that's enough for a first down.
Claiborne with a nice job tackling the Owensboro native, tough dude to take down after contact.
Did you tune into his state final game?
I did not.
Look up the highlights.
They're ridiculous.
Of whose?
Tuts.
McCurn, in the Gishu 2 is right.
First down in 10.
They're at the Ohio Dominican 49 to give the Gishu running right.
And he takes a huge hit at the 48-yard.
line but guichu gets up and it looks like he's okay are his highlights man amongst boy
type highlights he had the state record in kentucky for the most receiving yards in a state
final it was over 300 yards oh my goodness 300 in one game in one game is ridiculous
second down and eight for the chargers at the panther 47 mccurna and the gun gishu to his left
Metzger in, scorer to the near side, Ruddy to the far.
McCurnan, back to pass, looking for Ruddy and falls incomplete.
Miscommunication on the route.
Rundy went for more of a fly route, and McCurton, I think, was under the impression.
It was going to be a post to cross the middle.
Nearly disastrous.
Nearly intercepted by Claiborne at the 25-yard line, and then Ruddy almost caught it off the carum for a touchdown.
Like the play from Georgia a couple years, not a couple years ago, but 10 years ago.
Ole Miss against Alabama.
Yeah, yeah.
A screen pass that got tipped up and caught by another dude.
Third down and eight.
Balls at, Chargers at the Panther 47.
McCurton back to pass, looking left, looking for Reddy and it's caught.
At the 39-yard line, those are some sticky fingers for the junior.
What a great crab from him.
Very strong hands, very tight defense there.
I'm able to come down with it to move the chains.
Another first down for this charger offense, and we're under seven minutes left in the first quarter.
Hillsdale, seven, Ohio Dominican, nothing.
McCurnan, in the gun, riffle to his right, Pratt to the nearest side, Karakon Metzger to the far.
McCurnan, quarterback power all the way, running up the gut.
He gets out to the 30-7-yard line.
Chargers have an obvious size advantage in the trenches.
I mean, just looking at the two differences in the teams,
I think the chargers can really just take advantage,
control the line of scrimmage and cruise to end the season six and five for the third straight year.
McCurnan in the gun
Riffel 2 is right
second down in
nine charges at the Panther
37 McCurnan looking left
caught by Slocum at the 32
and he burst down to the 21
yard line
and that's another
first down for the Chargers
First down
Changers
And once he got the ball, he was rumbling, ran over an ODU defender.
That's always fun to watch, a big guy with the ball.
Braden Rabidow is back in the game, the freshman that had that incredible grab a series to go.
McCurnet in the gun, first down in 10.
Chargers at the Panther 22.
McCurnet, back to pass, looking for Ruddy.
Now he's going to roll right to the 29, flips it out of bounds to make it second down in 10.
And they're looking for Ruddy on every play.
Pretty confident that in a one-on-one situation,
the Ottawa Lake Whiteford native is going to take advantage.
Skura, Carico, Gishu, check in.
Rabido, Ruddy, check out.
No, Ruddy is still in.
Why would I think they take out their best player is beyond me?
second down in 10
Chargers at the Panther

McCurton's going to get about one

anything. Third down in 10, 4.30 left in the second quarter. Hillsdale 7, Ohio,
Dominican, nothing. McCurnan in the gun, Gishu 2 is right. Canesney in at tight end, tight end.
Ready to the near side. Skura, Metzger to the far. McCurnet, back to pass, throw to Skura.
And he gets out to the 20, no, 19 yard line design screen pass play there. And we'll see what the
Chargers do. Are they going to kick this one?
And it looks like they're going to opt to kick.
Some kicking woes for this Charger special teams.
Dylan Dadario has been the starter since midway through the season.
And he's going to try a 36-yard field goal to make this two-possession game.
Gain.
Lice to snap, skirt a hold.
3.40 left in the second quarter.
Snap good, hold good, kick is up, and it's good.
Chargers 10.
Ohio Dominican nothing.

Welcome to the grammar minute, where we're saving the English language 60 seconds at a time.
I'm Lauren Smith, and this episode was requested by a grammar fan from Florida.
This episode, by the way, as you may have noticed, is free.
You're getting it for free.
Or are you?
The economist in me wants to say that it's not free.
It's zero cost, so there's one problem.
but the other problem which is more relevant to grammar is that free isn't a noun it's an adjective
meaning that it describes a noun and four is a preposition which must proceed a noun so for free
is wrong because it's a preposition and not a noun this runs into all kinds of problems you want
to say that you're listening to this episode for free so are you listening to this episode free
or freely and does that even mean the same thing for free is broadly accepted in modern english
and is even included in the Collins English Dictionary.
Personally, I think the distinction is interesting,
but I don't mind this expression at all.
That's your grammar minute.
Back to Frank Muddywater Stadium on the campus of Hillsdale College.
I'm Ted Ferringer along as side-mease tie ruddy.
Chargers take a 10-0 lead over the Panthers of Ohio Dominican
after a 36-yard field goal from freshman Dylan Didario.
Carson Parker is out for his fourth possession of the game,
and this Ohio Dominican office is going to try to cut into this 10-point lead.
Parker in the gun, Rucker to his right.
Panthers at their own 25, gives a Rucker running right,
and he gets out to the 32-yard line.
Nice start to the drive for them.
Eight-yard run for the Panther running back.
It's 50 degrees out of.
here in south central michigan but the clouds keep adding a kind of dystopian feel to the landscape
today i feel like the uh the plagues of egypt are coming here pretty soon parker in the gun rucker
to his left second down in three it's a pass out to coronel and cornell scampers up the sideline
to the 42 yard line yes uh they i'm pretty sure man this isn't the bible so i feel like i should know
They, uh, there's grasshoppers, right?
There's the locusts, yeah, yeah, frogs, yes.
There's the river turns to blood.
Oh, yes, you're right.
There's a really good cartoon on it, but I can't remember it now.
It's great. It's the Prince of Egypt.
First down in 10. Ohio Dominican at thrown 42. Parker in the gun, Rucker 2 is right.
Steps up, throws caught by Cornell along the sideline and into charge of territory at the 49-yard line.

Yes, we told him about how Ty and I do play-by-play,
and he was just wondering if Hillsdale football was any good.
He asked if they were better than the Nebraska Corn Huskers.
Yes, Nebraska's had a rough, rough.
Huskerland might have him, though.
Huskerland.
You're a Michigan State fan, dude.
Well, I mean, your brother's Ohio State.
fan which just i'm an honorary ohio state fan ugh
it beats the spartons spartans can't do anything
you're in your route they had one good year in
2021 they had one incredible year
yeah and it ended with losing 38 to nothing to alabama in the college football

Anyway, I believe they just announced that that's the last play-by-play call of the man on the...
The famed.
The famed man.
I don't even know his name.
I feel, like, is his name, Dan?
They do the play-by-play on the network.
First down in 10 for the Panthers at the Charger 45. Parker back to pass, looking left, steps up in the pocket, throws incomplete broken up by Ryan.
Nixza at the 25, Cornell, almost came down with it.
Great recovery there by Nixna because his receiver was open 18 yards down the field and had the ball in his hand.
and Nick's able to scramble and punch that thing out.
So now it's a second down in 10 for the Panthers.
They're at the Charger 45. Parker in the gun.
Rucker 2 is right, three receivers to the far side, one to the near.
Blitz shown from Morrow.
He backs off. Parker back to pass.
Rolls to his left.
Spins out of the pressure, throws down the sideline incomplete.
Really nice job.
from him.
And Jirogi, on the pressure.
And Parker evaded it and
lived another day, unlike the
Frat v. Funny game last week where Frank
Ferrenger threw four interceptions.
Four interceptions right here.
Frank Muddywater's Stadium.
It was a tough one to watch.
But
got two events for the price of one. There was a fight at
midfield high. Here we go.
Third down in 10
for this Panther office.
defense 142 left in the second quarter hillsdale 10 had a minute hit nothing Parker in the gun
Rucker to his right two receivers to the far side true to the air Parker back to pass he's got a man
wide open along the near side and he gets out of bounds of the 32 yard line so some busted coverage
there gauge boadie with the grab yes coverage bust for that charger secondary and a third down in long
and a chance to get this dangerous offense off the field is not successful.
Here we go.
Panthers staying alive here, trying to get some points on the board before half.
Parker in the gun, Rucker, two is left.
Cornell to the nearest side, three receivers to the far.
Parker, back to pass, looking right, looking towards Cornell along the sideline,
and it's a one-handed gravel out of bounds of a three-yard line.

Let's be a little more optimistic, beautiful but drastically improving.
Oh, yes.
It will be beautiful by 2029.
Soon to be beautiful.
Soon to be.
They're building a ladder to name all the good.
First down in 10 for the chargers.
They're trying to kind of grab the momentum back in this.
game. Hillsdale leads Ohio Dominican 10 to 7 quarterback keep for McCurnan he
weaves his way along the sideline and out to the Charger 36 yard line and again
McCurnan's legs are really the decisive factor here for this Charger offense really
surprising because last week it was all it was his armed talent this week it's a lot of the
running set first down in 10 for the Chargers at the Hillsdale 36 nearly he's
intercepted along the near side.
Romero Wells got a hand on it.
It'll make it second down in 10.
Chargers at their own 36-yard line.
Hillsdale 10, Ohio Dominican 7, 108 left in the first half.
McCurnan, looking to the sideline.
Trying to get the play in.
Rutty to the far side, Skura and Carrico to the near.
McCurner in the gun, Gishu to his left.
McCurney, back to pass, looking through.
caught by scura at the 40 and he's going to be tackled by a crew
panthers you never want to reuse I feel like that's called redundancy look it up
Jamie pull it up find me names for what you call groups of panthers we have to
we got to diversify third down in four chargers at their own 42 37
seconds left in the first half slant route across the middle in and out of the hands a tut
carrico would have been a very tough grab either way and now it's a fourth down and four
thirty three seconds left in the first half hillsdale has a 10-7 lead over ohio dominican
and they're going to like to punt this one away cornell back deep to receive the punt at his own
16 Ian Woodier to punt for the Chargers standing at the Hillsdale 28 snap is good low punt
it bounces at the 21 and hits down at the 7 yard line we have a little scuffle down here
carrick going down to field the ball got hit by an Ohio Dominican player and then another
Charger came in and said, uh, I wouldn't do that.
I wouldn't do that if I would do.
So it's going to be a heavy labor for ODU to score on this last drive.
What do you think?
24 seconds to go 92 yards.
They got receivers lined up.
Maybe they were just going to heat it.
I oh my goodness my voice just cracked oh no
Ty's laughing um 92 yards they have to be just they just have to run this one out yes and that's
exactly what they'll do they're going to run rucker up the middle past the 10 and down to
the 11 yard line and that's going to be end of the first half you witnessed the world's worst
voice crack you were so close with 15 seconds to go in the half i was so close to not having any
voice cracks and it looks like i could not escape but that's the end of the first half hillsdale
leads to ohio dominican 10 to 7 in a really fun first half a play for the season finale for the
20, 25 campaign right here at Frank Muddywater Stadium.
We'll be here for second half action.
You're listening to Charger Football right here on Radio Free Hillsdale.
Welcome back to Frank Muddywater Stadium.
Second half action between the Panthers of Ohio Dominican and the Chargers.
of Hillsdale College will be underway here in a few minutes.
Hillsdale leads Ohio Dominican 10 to 7 after one half of play.
And, well, in my mind, the first half player of the game.
We'll have to go to Shay Ruddy.
I think so far, Ruddy leads to GMAC in all-purpose yards,
and he showed exactly why an electric.
39-yard kickoff return.
Touchdown grab at the south end zone.
Carrico had some production as well, but I'm going to go an honorable mention is it has to be the freshman diving grab at midfield.
Even just for entertainment quality, that was an amazing catch.
Braden Rabidow with an unbelievable grab at midfield from a throw from the backup quarterback Eli Boyce who saw action.
during a series today so it looks like both teams are kind of opening up the playbooks a bit
last game of the season ohio dominican is five and four currently hillsville's five and five
both teams trying to stay above 500 and bring some momentum into next season's campaign where
you know you'd like to see the chargers next year
bring this winning streak that's going to reach four in a row if they win today at the beginning
of the season and that's been the story of the past three years hasn't it the chargers have a lot of
momentum coming out of a season and then they struggle in the first half of the next season
sometimes they drop five in a row and then they'll win six in a row and so they end up above 500
but the momentum comes too late in the season for anything above, you know, a 6 and 5 record.
And so I think you're exactly right.
They'd love to see that carry over directly into the first week of 2026.
Some first half stats.
Hillsdale 11 first downs, Ohio, Dominican 9.
So really, offensive production has been relatively similar.
Larry Hillsdale with 209 total yards of offense to an Ohio Dominican 171, which sounds like a lot.
And then you look at the scoreboard and you see it's only 10 to 7.
So both defenses are bending, but they're not necessarily breaking.
And if you look at the records, you were right, you were exactly right earlier.
These are two pretty evenly matched teams.
Keep in mind that both of them lost to a really good Finley team by only a touchdown.
And in the Chargers case, it was a touchdown that they should have.
And so each of these teams really is on the cusp of a good gear this year.
And so a very evenly matched ballgame we have on our hands today.
We will keep you updated on the only football game that matters.
Other than this game, of course, but the Notre Dame game.
well there's some big news in the top four right now yes I did look
South Carolina's meeting Texas A&M 30 to 3 midway through the 3
so barring a 27 point comeback in what would that be about 20 minutes 20 minutes
a game play Texas A&M is going to drop their first of the season which makes it
very interesting to see the college football playoff ranked Notre Dame above Miami
They're taking metrics now a little differently than head-to-head.
They're looking into strength of schedule when you played somebody,
where you played somebody with the new kind of theory that a team's really,
you can't judge a team in August because they're different in November.
Which is true.
I think it's gotten more accurate, but it still is crazy to see how head-to-head has lost some validity.
So Jordan Westridge to kick this one away, it's going to bounce.
The north end zone for a nice touchback from the northern Arizona transfer.
And here comes Carson Parker.
To start out this second half, Hillsdale Defense is going to come out on the field and try to preserve and if not add to this three-point lead.
Hillsdale 10, Ohio Dominican 7.
Panthers set up shop at their own 25.
Down in 10. First play in the third quarter. Parker in the gun, Rucker, to his left, to his right, rather. Two receivers to the near side, two to the far.
Motion from Stevens from left to right. Parker back to pass, throws on the far side, caught by Cornell. He skirts out of bounds of the 31-yard line.
And we talked about the player of the game on the Hillsdale side on the Panthers side.
Well, it's got to be Jaden Cornell with that one-handed grab.
35-yard
grabbed a put
enters inside of the
Charger 5
so Parker and Pistol
now two receivers
the near side one to the far
it's a second down in four
and Jensen hits him
at the line of scrimmage
maybe a loss of one on the play
nice
play from
the Wisconsin
native
And now it's a third down and four.
This is a very important third down for that charger defense.
Ohio Dominican at their own 31. Hillsdale 10.
Ohio Dominican 7.
Parker in the gun.
Stevens to his right.
Two receivers to the near side.
Two to the far.
Parker in the gun.
Blitz shown from Vance.
He backs off.
Parker looking left.
Rolls right.
Pressure by Panola.
And it's tip.
Off the caram, and Stevens is going to get up for a first down past the 37-yard line.
Panola nearly with a sack all the way back at the 20.
Parker threw the ball.
It was tipped by Morrow, and then Stevens caught it off the caram for a first down.
First down in 10 for the Panthers.
Now they're at their own 43.
in the gun, Rucker to his left.
Cornell to the nearest side.
Pressure from Vance.
Parker evades him.
Rolls out, caught no.
Incomplete, intended for Cornell.
Ball was thrown too far inside.
Ryan Nixie on the coverage.
Second down in 10.
Some pandemonium here on the last two plays.
And second down and 10 for the first.
Panthers really obscure plays. They're not following the flow of the game. They're kind of
breaking it up, but Panthers are still alive here. Second down in 10. Ohio Dominican
at their own, 43. Parker, it's a quarterback draw all the ways to the 45. Hurdles a man and gets
down into Hillsdale territory at the 34. No, check that. 44-yard line. Luke Panola could not bring
him down and Parker much like McCurnan for the Chargers is showing some athleticism with his
legs 1233 left in the third quarter Parker in the backfield with him rucker to the
near side first down fresh set of downs two claps play action
Parker back to pass.
He's got Cornell along the near side.
Come on.
After 11 spins down inside the five
before being hit out of bounds by Ryan Nixie.
So Cornell with another huge play on the near sideline
to set the O'DU Panthers up for another set of downs
from the goal.
Jaden Cornell.
is showing some incredible athleticism for the Ohio Dominican Panthers.
First down and goal at the five, give to Rucker for a Howard Dominican running left.
It gets inside the five down to the three-yard line.
Charger defense trying to bend but not break here down at the south end zone.
They lead Ohio Dominican 10 to 7, 1133 left in the third quarter.
Parker looking towards the sideline to get the play.
He tells the big boys up front.
It's Pistol.
Rucker in the back field with him.
Second down and goal, ball at the three.
Give to Rucker running left.
He makes a cut, and he's near the goal line.
Hudson Jones looks like he stopped him just shy.
Third down and goal from the half-yard line.
Third and goal, this Charger crowd, trying to get into it now.
Let's make it loud, Charger Nation.
Campbell and Cornell to the far side.
Third down and goal.
Parker, under center, and it's a tush push.
QB sneak, and it's a touchdown.
Ohio, Dominican, they take their first lead of the ball game.
Panthers 13, Chargers 10, 10.43 left in the third.
quarter. On to kick the extra point.
The Carrick's to make it a four point lead.
Counts his steps back, lines it up.
Accurate kicker for the Panthers. High snap.
Caught by the holder. Kick is up from Veracons and good.
Ohio, Dominican 14 Hillsdale College 10.

Today we'll be talking about a city named after perhaps one of the coolest people in American history, Houston, Texas.
Founded on August 30th, 1836 by land investors, the city gets its name from the general and politician Sam Houston.
Houston led Texas to independence from Mexico at the Battle of San Jacinto, just 25 miles from the future site of Houston.
Houston, Texas, and taking place months before the city's founding.
The city served as the capital of the Republic of Texas, which existed from March 2nd, 1836
to February 19th, 1846 before it became the 28th state.
Houston, the man, served as the president of the Republic of Texas for most of its existence
and was one of the inaugural senators representing Texas after it became a state.
He is a long and impressive military career and was a respected politician.
It seems fitting that there should be a major city named after someone as
influential and impressive as Sam Houston.
This is Megan Pitcock, and you've been listening to What's in a Name on Radio Free Hillsdale, 101.7 FM.
The Panthers now up by four.
It seemed like they might have lost it for a minute in the second, first half.
First down in 10 for the chargers at their own, 35.
McCurnin, the gun, Gishu, 2 is right.
Quarterback run left, takes a huge hit, McCurnin does.
At the 38-yard line, second down in about seven.
Man, you'll wonder how many hits this kid can take with the number of runs that they're calling.
Just about to say, they are sticking with McKernan's legs early in the second half.
One play in, but set in the tone.
Second down in seven, 10-10 left, third quarter, McCurner in the gun, Gishu to his left.
Metzker, Kinesni, to the far side, Pratt to the near.
play action mccurton looking right weaving his way along the 30 a little pop pass out to guichu and he gets out to the 50 yard line creative play from mccurin to extend the drive and it's a first down for chargers great heads-up quarterback play there from mccurin who probably could have picked up two or three if he ran it on his own but able to dump it off to gishu for a 12-yard game
or so first down in 10 for the chargers at the ohio and dominican 48 933 left in the third quarter
ohio dominican 14 hillsdale college 10 mccurner in the gun geishu in the back field with them
mccurton rolls out left sets his feet throws and it's a con caught by the phenom freshman down to the 26 yard
line brayden rabidow rabidow with the grab with another
acrobatic catch through a defender making a name for himself in this last game of the season
it's a first down for the chargers at the panther 26 rabidow native of lansing mich 10 10 165
pounds making a name for himself here mcernan and pistol geishu in the backfield with them
to give to gueshoe up the gut and he's hit at the line of scrimmage 510 166
that's about my size I'm about 511 160 I don't know if I could be doing that though I don't have the athleticism
he's got a different skill package to do I think catching contested balls like that second down and 10
for Hillsdale 819 left in the third quarter hillsdale has had them as we said before they have
the majority of the offensive production but really
not much points to show for it mccurton in the gun gueshoe to his right it's a second down in ten mccurney back to pass looking left throws and fires it to scura down to the 15 yard line move the chains
the native from zionsville indiana with a nice grab had to go down low to collect it and it's enough for a first down gishu checks out riffle checks in pratt and metzker also check in for the
Chargers. So substitutions here. Get some fresh legs in the game. Caracos at the far side.
1v1 with the safety. First down in 10. Chargers at the Panther 15. McCurton rolling right.
It's a QB run all the way and he gets tripped up at the line of scrimmage. Maybe he gets one down.
Inside the 15 down to the 14. Second down and long. About nine.
I have yet to call a game this year at Hillsdale, Frank Moneywater Stadium,
where Colin McCurnan has gotten this many quarterback powers.
But as we said before, it's the last game of the season,
so the playbook's being opened up a bit, experimenting for next year.
McCurnet in the gun, Riffle 2 is right, second down in 9.
Balls at the Panther, 14.
That's here to the far side.
Rabid O to the near.
Slocum in at
Tide end and we have a timeout called on Hillsdale
And that does remind me
A very clean ball game
We have seen
One flagged the entire game
No fall starts for the Chargers
We had a holding call on Hillsdale
In the second quarter
But other than that
I do not believe Ohio Dominican has been penalized
once today. I think you're right
and it's kind of a turnaround
for the chargers who have struggled with penalties
all year so
so as I mentioned the
Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7
Professor of the Weeks
Professor Green
which then
leads me to ask
he had me, Ted Ferringer
last semester and he has
Frank this semester
I want to know who's funnier
I think I know
Frank has come back
and told me he's convinced he's had
a perfect semester of comedy
and he said he's only had one before
and Dr. Cameron Morris
Continental. I never hear someone
rave about having a semester of comedy
I'm like a punch in punch out
like this is work you know
but not for him
second down in nine
it's a quarterback run right for McCurney
and he gets back to the line of
Grimmage, maybe loses one on the play.
So, interesting play call there on second down and nine.
It's going to lead to a third down and 10.
You're at the Panther 15-yard line.
And do you run here?
Do you throw?
You settle for the field goal.
You have a freshman who's getting more confident in Dillon to,
Daria with field goals.
You're in four-down territory, for sure.
So here we go.
Third down and 13.
Chargers at the Panther 18.
McCurnet back to pass, looking for running in the right.
He's going to shift in the pocket.
He's got Riffle in the flat.
One-handed grab by Kyle Riffle.
Down to the two-yard line.
What a play for the charges.
McCurnin tucked it.
He was going to run.
He was going to settle with two or three yards.
The line of scrimmage saw Riffel.
Riffle, poke out of the backfield, and dumped it off.
And Riffel Carter with one hand.
The senior making an impact for the Chargers on that.
Third down and 13.
First in goal for Hillsdale at the two.
McCurton in the gun.
Riffel 2 is right.
Ready to the far side.
Three tight ends in the game.
Davis, Kinesny, Slocum.
It's a McCurton, QB, power.
Up the middle, and.
in short, the half-yard line.
The Chargers want to.
Chargers want a touchdown.
They're not going to get it.
And it's going to be second down and goal from the half-yard line.
Chargers taking their time.
505 left in the third quarter.
Ohio Dominican 14, Hillsdale College 10.
Chargers trying to change that right here.
Oh, live formation.
Sloke him in and full back.
Riffle in the backfield.
Shades of 1990, Nebraska football.
It's a tush push up the middle, and it's a touchdown chargers.
And Hillsdale College retakes the lead, 16 to 14.
Dylan Dadario on to make it a three-point game.
Skir to hold, likens to snap.
Dadario back
counts his steps
lines it up
two steps right
one half step back
445 left
in the third quarter
snap good hold good
kick is up
and it's good

he was at the 15

Leads Ohio Dominican, 17 to 14.
Chargers get another chance here to add to this three-point lead 307 left in the third quarter.
Eli Boyce is back in the game at quarterback for the Chargers.
Dishu is in the backfield with him.
Ready to the nearest side, Carrico and Pratt to the far.
First down in 10, Chargers at their own 43.

That is going to shake some stuff up
In the GMA
I believe that does mean the winner of this game
We'll go to a bowl game
Is what I was sold
Second down in one
Chargers at the
Panther 48 voice under, center.
Motion from Ruddy.
It's a get to Gishu up the middle, and he's going to lose one.
Back to the 49-yard line.
We'll keep you updated on what kind of bowl game that is.
I'm not sure.
Both teams are about middle of the pack at the GMAC.
Ohio Dominican is ahead of Hillsdale by one spot,
but if Hillsdale beats Dominican today, they'll obviously jump them.
Third down and two. Chargers at the Panther, 49.
No, boy, send the gun.
Riffel 2 is right to quarterback keep all the way,
and he gets down to the 45 and a first down,
and that Hillsdale College offensive line is taking over right now.
the game at the 40thal final
in the 45-yard line was over to play.
First down.
A hold of Chargers.
And that's a first down
for Hillsdale, 128 left

Hillsdale 17, Ohio, Dominican

Boyce in the gun,
Gishu and Ruddy in the back field with them.
Boyce.
Quarterback keep running left.
Net at the 45,
dropped at the 44-yard line.
He had one man to beat to get,
be 10, 15 more yards
and he could not get it
there.
He did not walk on senior day a couple of
weeks ago and it's a return
for O'DU. Now the pace
is slowed down a little bit here
from the chargers.
Voice
under center for this second down in
nine chargers at the Panther 44.
Ready to the far side,
Carrico to the near. Play action,
Boyce rolling right feels the pressure. He's going to run out of the pocket and hit down inside the 40.
So some pretty good pocket awareness there by Eli Boyce actually felt some pressure from the back and stepped up,
just tripped up as he was flushed and stumbles for about three to make it a third and five.
Third down and medium. Third down and five for the Chargers.
13, 12, 11, 10 seconds left in the third quarter.
It looks like they're going to run the clock down.
And fourth quarter, folks, we'll be back for fourth quarter action.

And that's a first down for Chargers.
A 1v1 on the outside, and pretty hard to defend that kid in open space.
First down in 10 for Hillsdale at the Panther 21. Hillsdale, 17, high on American 14, 14-28 left in the ball game.
Boyce in the gun. Riffle 2 is right.
Ruddy. Carrico to the far side.
No, check that. Near side.
Boyce, quarterback, run all the way, and he gets hit down at the line of scrimmage.
Maybe lose one.
Met at the line there.
No game for Boyce.
Nowhere to run there.
But Hillsdale now with Eli Boyce,
running it with Eli Boyce now instead of Colin McCorm.
So really leaning into the quarterback draws, the quarterback powers today, sprinkling in some passes and some jets, but really experimenting with the quarterbacks, which is an interesting development.
Second down in 11. Boyce in the gun, riffled to his right.
Voice looking left. He's got Rutty on a crossing route. Ruddy makes one man miss and gets hit down at the 10-yard line.
Enough for a first down. Chargers in the red zone, trying to add to this three-point lead. Hillsdale, 17, Ohio, Dominican, 14.
I was just reflecting on the fact that Hayden Park has a nicer scoreboard than the football stadium.
They do, that's true.
I was one musing why they don't have like a video board. Maybe that's something for the future.
12 minutes left in the fourth quarter
Boyce in the gun riffle to his right
Metzger and Pratt to the near side
first down from the 11

Hillsdale knocking on the door
trying to add to this three-point lead
and this is the area where
he was about four and sunny six
line how to come back to Hurt you
will get this big O line of Hill
now the chargers make a ton of substitutions i see on a second down and six a lot of runs here hard to see
a pass down at this south end of the end zone boys in the gone gueshoe to his left ready to his right
carrickon skirt to the far side it's a throw and it's caught for a touchdown
Tocirico
He makes the sign of a cross
And the
Chargers

As I said it was going to be
Runs all the way
They ended up throwing it
All they needed was one RPO
On a slant to Tuck Caracow
And punch it in to make it 23-14
Now we have an interesting
Formation here
as Hillsdale
motioned their entire
offensive line to the far side of the field
and now we have the second penalty
marker on the field
of the game rather
laying at the five
so we'll see what the
call is
there's some of our
end of the year trickery I think
Hillsdale
offense
five year penalty
we play a try
Hillsdale experimenting with a swinging gate type
play play
I wonder if they'll go back to it
or if they'll just say that was enough
kick it.
Looks like they might just
So that's going to back them up
Dylan DeDario five yards
so it's going to make it a 25

DeDarro to make it a 10-point game

still leads Ohio Dominican 24 to 14 1159 left in the fourth quarter and the chargers here are going to have to stay persistent to end the season 6 and 5 this is a dangerous offense from Ohio Dominican they want to preserve this 10 point leave Carson Park
Rucker in the gun, Rucker, two is right.
Three receivers to the far side, one to the nearer.
First down at 10 at the Panther 24.
It's a throw out in the flat to Campbell.
Great coverage.
Great coverage by the Chargers.
Campbell gets one on the play.
Out to the 26-yard line.
It's a second down and eight for the Panthers at.
The Ohio Dominican, 26, 11, 29 left in the ball game.
Hillsdale 24, Ohio Dominican, 14.
Blitz shown from Panola, three receivers to the near side, one to the far.
Parker, back to pass, throws caught by Cornell along the sideline at the 35-yard line,
and it's a catch.
First down, Ohio, Dominican, move those chains.
Layton Scott on the tag.
but not after a first down pitch and catch from Parker to Cornell first down in 10 Ohio
Dominican at their own 35 Parker in the gun Rucker to his right back to pass rolls right
keeps spinning out of the pocket and he's going to get sacked Drake Badger all the way back to
the 18 yard line he was badgering Carson Parker in the back field
and takes him down
and great persistence there
Parker tried to get away about three times
and badge said your mind
second down in a Walmart parking lot
1018 left in the ball game
Ohio Dominican may very well be on the ropes now
Parker in the gun Rucker to his left
Two receivers to the far side, two to the near.
Parker, back to pass, looking left.
He's got, oh, he had Cornell in a soft spot of the coverage at the 38-yard line.
Ryan Nixon nearly came down with an interception at the 35, a diving attempt from the senior.
Secondary member for the Chargers, and that sets up a third down in 25.
Five to make it loud
Third down
This could very well be the ball game
Well with a 10 point lead
10 minutes left
Maybe not
10 points is not that many points
A lot of time too with three timeouts
Parker empty set back to pass
Two receivers in the far, two to the near
He's looking for Cornell along the sideline
And it falls incomplete
lead and there are two penalty markers on the field.
One at the 43 and one at the 44.
Cornell nearly came down with a one-handed grab
and they're going to call pass interference on Ryan Nixza.
And Nixas not happy with it.
I'm not sure what he was expected.
There was a lot of contact on that play.
A lot of contact along the nearest side and Coach Ruffler is not happy about that one.
And that gives some life back to this Panther effort here to cut into this 10-point deficit.
Hillsdale 24, Ohio, Dominican, 14, 9.503 left in the ball game.
Parker in the gun, Rucker to his left.
Campbell, Cornell to the near side.
Stevens to the far.
Parker, back to pass, throws caught by Bodie at the 45, near the first.
down and yes the refs say he got enough for a first down that's a 10 yard pitch and catch
and the panthers get their second first down of this drive a gain of 11 on the play parker in
the gun rucker to his left three receivers to the far side one to the near parker back to pass
looking for cornell he's going to throw in a double coverage
And it's intercepted.
Along the near side at the 11-yard line.
It bounced off the back of Jaden Cornell.
And Nolan Strait with the interception,
but there's a penalty marker on the field at the 42-yard line.
It's going to be holding on O'DU, so the interception will stand.
And Ryan Nixa, after that P.I.
Two plays ago, redeems himself to flex the ball up in the air,
bounced off of his back, and into Nolan Strakes' hands.
And Chargers force a key turnover with 9-13 left in the ball game
and try to add to this 10-point lead.
First down in 10 for Hillsdale at their own 10, 913 left in the ball game.
McCurton in the gun.
Ruddy to his right quarterback keep running left.
He takes a huge hit at the line of scrimmage.
Leans forward for about one on the play.
Hillsdale, the clock is your friend.
Minimizing completions.
Run as much as possible.
But you also favor the strength of Ohio Dominican, which is their run defense.
You might have to attack through the air here to bleed out this ball game.
McCurton and the gun, Gishu to his left.
Ruddy to the far side, Pratt to the nearer, second down in nine at the Hillsdale 11.
Throw out towards Ruddy along the far side, and he's hit out at the 20-yard line.
That's enough for a first down in the G-Mack, leader in all.
purpose yards keeps adding up those yards Colin Davis checks out of the ball game
Andrew Kinesney checks in fresh set of downs for Hillsdale at their own 20
Hillsdale 24 to Ohio Dominican 14 8 minutes left in the ball game McCurner in the
gun Gishu to his right Ruddy
That's Gert to the near. Check that. Kerrico to the near. It's a screen out to Ruddy at the 20. He's to the 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50.
Ruddy, down the sideline. One man to beat. Touchdown chargers. Boom. Man, woman, and child. He's gone, baby.
Come on.
He saw a 70-yard screen pass.
The Ohio.
When McCurnin to Ruddy makes it 30 to 14 for the Chargers.
And he outran just about everybody on the defense on that play.
The Ohio Dominican defender was dusted by the Ottawa Lake Whiteford native.
And that was the most electric play of the season.

I'm Ted Ferringer alongside me, Shea Ruddy.
Hillsdale leads Ohio, Dominican, 31 to 14, after an electric 70 yard.
No, 80-yard touchdown.
Catch by Shea Ruddy to extend the lead to 17 points.
That was a screen out at the 20.
He caught it behind the line of scrimmage.
Wow.
Screens, you don't see them work off.
but when you do they are electric first down in 10 for a how dominican at the panther 34 parker back to pass
looking across the middle complete to campbell at the 38 yard line so now it's a really it's a must-go situation
must-score situation for the panthers down by 17 718 left in the ball game their hurry-up offense
now Parker in the gun rucker to his right two receivers to the far side to the near second down and six
it's thrown underneath to Cornell one yard shy of the first down third down and one
at the panther 34 yard line check that 33
3rd down in 1. 40. Panthers at their own, 43, 6.40 left in the ball game. Parker in the gun.
Rucker, 2 is right. It's a give to Rucker up the middle, and he's not going to get it.
Evan Bionick with the tackle for loss, and now it's a fourth down in one.
And O'DU will obviously stay on the field for this one.
Anywhere. It's four-down territory for them at this point, and they need to score.
Fourth down and one. It's a must-have for the Panthers.
Hillsdale, 31, Ohio Dominican, 14, six minutes left in the ball game.
Here we go. Panthers at their own 43.
Parker, in the gun. Rucker, two is left.
Two receivers in the near, two to the far.
Parker, back to pass.
Looking for buddy along the sideline.
It falls incomplete.
Nix's on the coverage penalty marker.
the 48-yard line and it's going to be a pass interference yet again it looked like both guys
were tangled up on each other and the hillsdale faithful are not happy about that one
So ODAU gifted a fresh set of bounds.
And the Panthers are staying alive.
They're down by three scores with 548 left.
But as is shown from the Texas A&M South Carolina game,
anything is possible in college football.
So now we have more substitutions for the
Chargers and Panthers.
Finally, that gets situated.
Well, how to Minnican at their own?
48. Parker in the gun, Rucker, to his right.
Parker, back to pass, throws caught by Bodie along the sideline.
Beautiful pitch and catch there.
High enough for Colin Morrow not to deflect it, but low enough for Leighton Scott to not intercept it.
That's just a beautiful ball there from Parker, and the drive stays alive.
526 left in the ball game Parker in the gun rucker to his left two receivers to the far side
two to the near Parker back to pass pressured from panola he tries to move away he throws it out
of bounds lichianic panola we're in the backfield and it's going to be a third down and 10
no it'll be a second down in 10 excuse me
512 left in the ball game
Hillsdale 31 Ohio Dominican 14
second down in 10 Parker in the gun Rucker to his left
one receiver to the far side 3 to the near Parker back to pass looking to the
far side caught by corner
now he gets out of bounds of the 28 move the chains yet again 12-yard gain for the junior receiver
O'DU stringing together nice drive here late in the fourth quarter gifted that one set of downs
but for the most part they've done it on their own and they're marching smart by Cornell to get
out of bounds of the Charger 29.
Cornell, excuse me, Parker in the gun,
Rucker to his left, three receivers to the near side,
one to the far, 436 left in the ballgame.
First down in 10.
Parker, looking for Cornell along the sideline.
Layton Scott in coverage, incomplete.
Second down in 10 at the Charger 28.
O.D.U trying to mismatch Cornell
with a bunch of different Charger secondary members
to try to find it.
Bit of a separation here.
And now ODU taking their time a bit now at incomplete pass stops the clock.
Parker in the gun, Rucker to his left, two receivers in near side, one of the far.
Second down in 10, charge of 28.
And he's pressured in the backfield and nearly intercepted by Panola.
Luke Panola is having a heck of a ball game.
Third down in 10, this is a must have for ODU.
You have one of the best kickers in the GMAC.
You just opt for the three points.
Parker in the gun.
Rucker, two is right.
Three receivers to the nearest side.
One to the far.
Third down and 10 at the Charger, 28.
Parker, back to pass.
Drop.
Incomplete.
Drop by Bodie at the 25.
It's now fourth down and 10 at the Charger 28.
So a big decision here for the ODU coaching staff.
For the moment, it looks like the offense is going to stay on the field.
You need three possessions anyway.
But I'm wondering if you take the points here.
and bank on two more possessions.
O.D.U.
Gets the call from the sideline,
and the offense is staying on the field.
O'DU is going to go for it.
422 left in the ballgame.
Hillsdale 31.
O'Dew 14.
Fourth down in 10 at the Charger, 28.
Parker, back to pass.
Looking over the middle, and it's caught by Cornell.
He'll be close.
I don't know if he has it.
And it looks like he's down at the 19, and he's going to be short of a first down by a yard.
Just short.
A heck of a stand there by the Hillsdale secondary.
And that's a turnover on downs.
And there's turnover on down, they'll be charged your football.
And Texas A&M has taken their first lead of the game over South Carolina, 31 to 3.
That, how much, with 10 minutes left.
Plenty of time.
They were down 30 to 3 in the early 4th, third quarter.
By early 4th, they're up by 1.
Wow.
So a Masterclass, that's why they're a top 4 team right there.
First down at 10 for the Chargers at their own 21.
McCurnan in the gun.
guishu in the backfield with him it's a give to gueshoe up the middle and he gets back to the line of scrimmage maybe gets one on the play
three minutes down and nine second down and nine second down and eight second down
three minutes left three forty eight three forty seven three forty seven three forty six chargeers
a slow huddle and it looks like it's a formality now hillsdale will end the season six and
five mcernan in the gun quarterback power right crosses the 20 gets out to the 25 yard line but he goes
out of bounds which he'll make it a third down in about four
The clock is still running.
Third down and five for Hillsdale.
They're at the Charger 26.
Substitutions for Hillsdale.
Carson Slocum checks out.
Looks like they're going to try to get some of their seniors some game time.
Third and four for Hillsdale.
at their own 26 and timeout for the Chargers.
You know what?
We're going to take a timeout with them.
You're listening to Charger football right here on Radio Free Hillsdale.
Fox on set.
One big player in the AI chatbot world is now banning kids from a wide range of its services.
Character.AI will no longer allow minors to use its chatbots in an unrestricted fashion.
The move is a response to growing concerns
that kids interacting with artificial intelligence personalities
are not given appropriate safety considerations.
There have been reports of chatbots getting inappropriate with underage users.
Character.a.I. is also the defendant in a lawsuit by a mother
who claims the services chatbots influenced her teenage son to take his own life.
The company says it will use age verification to make sure only adults are able to have full access
and then starting in November, child users will be subjected to a two-hour daily time limit.
Further, they're developing new features for kids only,
which focuses on content creation such as videos.
With Fox on Tech, I'm Eben Brown, Fox News.
Welcome back to Frank Muddywater Stadium.
Hillsdale Leeds O'D, 31 to 14 on senior day here.
the final installment of the
2025 season
McCurn and throws an incomplete pass and the dirt
is going to stop the clock and make it a fourth down
in five so they're going to have to punt it away here
Cornell back deep to receive
probably not the best clock management
from the Hillsdale offense on that possession
Woodyard standing at his own
12
I'm sorry I have something
my voice is
Looked.
Low kick there from Woodyard bounces at the 40,
fielded by Cornell at the 25.
And Tuck can do it all.
Tutt tackles him back at the 16-yard line.
Tutt wrinkles him down.
At the 16-yard line.
You know, folks, today is a sad day.
Why is that?
Because I literally had something in my throat.
He's choking out.
It's Ty Ruddy's last Hillsdale College football game.
No, it's not because I'm sad.
I literally have something in my throat.
Ted Ferrander's choking up that his old partner is going to be gone for next season.
Ty is moving on from us.
I'm not dying.
It's moving on from the Hillsdale community.
Next year, he plans on going back to D.C.
going back to the swamp back to the swamp english major classics minor he is about 500 pages
to write before the end of christmas break for the start of christmas break but it was uh it's a good run
champ i hope you all enjoyed it we certainly did yes i mean overall i think what is our overall
record calling games about 500 probably about 500
I don't know what our best call was.
I don't really go back and listen to it.
Homecoming last year was pretty good, I think.
We didn't call homecoming last year.
No, we didn't.
That was when Walsh came back and beat Hillsdale.
Homecoming two years ago, maybe?
I feel like I remember having fun with that one.
I can't remember.
But it's been a pleasure and a privilege.
It's been an honor
But I will be here next year
Ted will have a new partner
Maybe I don't know
Do you have
No I'll just do one
Just
This is my
This is me
This is my Thai voice
Okay
Well anyway
No one will know anything
No one will know at all
I'll make an alter ego
As the
You should hold
Auditions for a partner
I know some people who would probably join you up here
yeah I could hold interviews that'd be funny
so two minutes left
O'DU with the ball second down and six
throughout the room 22
Hillsdale's up by 17
31 to 14 over
over
the Panthers
Hillsdale's going to improve
to 6 and 5 for the third straight year
and hopefully bring in
some nice momentum for next season.
O'DU is going to drop to
five and five. So both squads
they end about the middle of the road
in the GMAC, which is a pretty
even Stephen conference
when you have like Tiffin roll in
to Finley and defeat Finley
who's undefeated in the conference.
And you're right. I mean, even both of these two teams
as Pinola gets to Parker
who throws it away, even both
of these two teams were hot
on Finley's tails when they played them.
Hot on Finley Strachson, they played them earlier in the season.
So even these sort of middle-of-the-road teams have the potential, have the recruiting to compete with the leaders of the G-MAC.
And hopefully we see that a little bit more out of the Chargers next year.
Certainly some good momentum going into 2026.
I wonder if Dr. Arne would be interested in doing color-coversating for me.
You should ask him.
That would be hilarious.
Very funny.
Man.
Second down and 10 goes nowhere on the run as Evan Biennick drives Rucker into the dirt.
And we're under 90 seconds left.
And now we get a bunch of the seniors in the game for the check chargers.
Third down and 10.
O'DU at their own 31.
on. Here we go. The crowd getting into it now.
Barker in the gun, huge pressure and it's dropped. Dropped by Cornell.
Jaden Cornell, he's had a great game.
great game. He's had a couple
great catches.
It's curious that he dropped that
one.
Well, it's really
won't matter anyway, yep.
So
on to punt it.
Oral
to punt this one away for the
Panthers back deep, Shea ready
with no gloves on.
His gloves are in his belt
standing at his own 30.
He fair catches it at the 32.
And with that, on comes the Chargers with 58 seconds left.
We got a new quarterback in the game.
Reed Shoemaker.
Please forgive me.
I will not know these names as well as I know.
The starters.
Senior Root Shoemaker will kneel this one out for the Chargers.
I see Joe Schmidt out there as well, who, after some chiding.
decided to come back for a fifth year i hope he enjoyed it first down and 10 for the chargers
at the 31 a lot of the super seniors now 18 of them on this squad for team 1 33's in the game and
reed shoemakers going to run up to the 38 yard line there's a penalty marker at the 31
and it's a hold call it's going to back the charge
Chargers up 10 yards.
With the play with all the seniors, an unfortunate penalty.
He's going to back him up.
A lot more substitutions.
That's a nice end of the season.
Chargers rattle off four straight wins
to end the 2025 campaign
as Reed Shoemaker is going to take a knee
at the 23 yard line
and that'll do it from Frank Moneywater Stadium
