The following is a special presentation of WRFH Sports.
The crowd is roaring. It's a sold-out game here.
Passes outside to Tavon. Tavon takes the three.
Got that one. Back-to-back three is for the chargers.
They pulled a head.
Still Charger basketball on Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM starts now.
And welcome. You are listening to Radio Free Hillsdale,
the 1.7 FM Charger Basketball.
We are live here with Don Tibbitts Potter Arena
for this matchup between the Hillsdale College Chargers
and the Kentucky Wesleyan Wildcats.
Yeah, really exciting matchup we've got here today.
Hillsdale, unfortunately, on a slight bit of a losing streak,
having just lost to Cedarville,
just lost into Finley, who was number one in the conference,
but that lost to Cedarville was a huge upset for them.
They are definitely in need of a win right here,
and kind of an unfortunate matchup playing Kentucky Wesley
and who has been absolutely phenomenal this year.
Yeah, they're number two in the conference right now,
right behind Finley.
Yeah, just really, really unfortunate timing for this,
but an exciting game nonetheless.
Yeah, coming off a couple wins as well for Kentucky Wesley,
and they have won, it appears to be five straight,
so kind of a tale of two teams,
one that is on a bit of a skid, another that's won a bunch,
And this is a team from Kentucky Wesleyan that is coming off of GMAC championship last year.
We're going to repeat that.
And we'll be back after this short break.
Hello and welcome back.
You are listening to Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM Charger Basketball.
As we mentioned before the break, an exciting matchup.
Kentucky Wesleyan's second right now in the conference just behind Finley.
And the story for them early on was a couple of weird losses.
You saw them a team that has won five straight and is.
been getting hot at the right time that is led by four returning players on that starting lineup
from last year that won on the G-Mack.
Yeah.
Just really unfortunate timing for Hillsdale to be facing the team that's absolutely on fire
because they're on a losing streak.
They just lost the Lake Erie, a game they shouldn't have lost, and just lost in Cedarville,
another game they should have lost.
And they did lose to Finley in a really close matchup here.
Who is the number one team in the conference?
So that should have been a good game, but the other two losses, definitely teams they
should be beating nine times out of ten.
Yeah, definitely out of character for the charges, a team that,
normally bounces back, doesn't lose many games in the regular season.
So see how they respond.
Good thing is, it's Saturday.
Don Tibitz is going to be rocking and they're at home.
One of the things to tell the starting lineup for Kentucky Wesleyan,
we have Quentin Tolls Jr. Guard.
We have Kennedy Miles, Edward Jones Jr., Fatie Huick from Turkey,
and then Logan McIntyre rounding out their starting lineup.
And a couple of foreign guys from Kentucky Wesleyan.
A couple of names that you look at is in that Al-Awecky-Wiwik.
as a radio broadcaster and you're like,
that just doesn't look right.
Yeah, they have a guy, Alex Sinkovich, from Belarus,
and then as we mentioned,
Fetihuik, the starting big man for them from Turkey.
So going out and scouting abroad are the Wildcats.
Yeah, so the first game, probably at Hillsdale College,
has had this entire year where there is a guy,
there are people on the other roster that are the same size as C.J. Yarian and Big Red.
Yeah, for sure.
if you guys have tuned into this broadcast,
you know our keys to the game always for the Chargers
or their ability to get those big guys great
looks when they have the size advantage, but
Fatihua, a guy who starts at 6, 7,
2.30, and then another starter for them,
Logan Akitar, with some size as well,
and Edward Jones, a bigger guard.
And then a couple guys on the bench, like you had mentioned,
at 610, 2 610 guys
that might come in to help them if they need to.
Yeah, the good news is that those guys don't seem to play a lot,
don't seem to appear in a lot of games.
So the 610 might not show up today,
but they might use it just defensively,
just trying to match up with this Hillsdale Charger team.
Yeah, for sure. And then another key, too, is that as we mentioned with Finley last week,
not as deep a rotation for Kentucky Wesleyan, but a lot of guys that score the basketball.
Quinn Tolls averages 13. Logan McIntyre averages 13. Kennedy Miles also averages 13,
and Edwards Jones Jr. at 12.8.
Yeah, for Hillsdale, one of the keys today is that turnover margins,
the one place where they are in a positive, and Kentucky Wesleyan has a negative turnover margin.
So they need to dominate those turnovers.
Take care of the basketball and get a lot of steals.
Yeah, I think one thing that the Chargers has been,
their downfall on the skit is those turnovers.
We saw it here live against Finley where that press was able to speed them up,
get them out of their game.
The key is get to your game, make your open threes,
and you're going to find a way to win.
Yeah, Hill's still definitely one of the best half-court basketball teams.
The question is, is always, can they get the ball across half?
That was really where they lost it against Finley
and has struggled in the previous couple of games.
The same starters for the Chargers as always.
We have senior leader Joe Ruder, Big Rick, down low for him.
Ashton Janowski, the junior at point guard, Logan Beeson, and Charles Woodham's, their leading score.
Yeah, some really exciting basketball here as we are about to tip off.
There'll be Eric Radicevich against Big Number 19.
Fatih Huick.
The name really looks like fate.
Fatih Huick, where's Big Rick?
We are underway here at Don Tim.
It's Potter Arena and it's going to go to the Wildcats.
Point guard Kennedy Miles setting up the offense.
Top of the key, Edward Jones swings it there to Logan McIntyre on the left wing.
He'll still here starting out in their traditional man defense.
They usually come out in this and they'll switch maybe once or twice a game,
but 90% of the time they play in man.
Up top, Quintolz, download a fatigue.
Houick working on Big Rip, a great matchup.
Down low, turns, can't find anything.
Back to the middle good.
Hook shot falls.
Your score two zero here.
wildcats early. Yeah, he made that one
really, really easy. Big Rick definitely needs to
put a little more pressure on him next time.
Top of the key, Big Rick, back on offense.
Right-wing Janowski, back down low to Big Rick
on the block. Working on the smaller
defender. Back top, Janowski,
top of the key, swings it to Router in the corner.
Working on Miles. Backing him down with 10 on the
shot clock on the block. Rooter, fade away in the mid-range.
Won't go, rebound Woodhams.
Second chance for the Chargers here.
Top of the key, Big Rick, finds Logan Beeson
Open, wing, three ball, good.
Logan Beeson with the three.
Your score 3 to 2.
Offensive rebounding.
Huge.
It's an extra possession for an offense.
Stolen away by Ruter.
McIntyre can't hold it.
Ruter in transition.
Tough Lab won't go.
Gets his own rebound.
Back up and he's fouled.
Another offensive rebound.
Now that went on a transition bucket.
A great steal there by Ruter,
which he's had a couple phenomenal games in a row.
Even though the Chargers have lost, he stayed strong.
Yeah, we talked about it here.
Last time we were home against Finley,
when they started to come back, it was a spark from Router on defense, gets the quick steal on McIntyre there,
goes back the other way where he's filed, then he'll get two from the line.
Yeah. Kentucky Wesleyan here early. Big man in the paint, not coming out and guarding the three.
Hillsill's big men do like to shoot that three ball every once in a while, and they're going to need to hit some to get him to fade out and open up things down the lane.
First shot up and no good for Router. 1846 to play in this first half, three to two, charges up.
Second one for Routers up and pure. Your score four to two here. Chargers with an early.
lead back down the other way they find McIntyre top of the key Jones Jr.
On the right wing at Quentin Tolls.
Tollick up top working on Big Rick. Top of the key tolls working on Woodhams.
Drives us the right wing step back three ball Tolls will go.
He looks so very in form and very in control there up against this charger defense.
Once again I think they need to be a little bit more aggressive.
Three ball good year score five to four chargers coming back the other way on the right wing big Rick.
Logan Beeson deep three won't go rebound cleared away by Tolls
anytime that he can get an open three you're never upset at that look
Tolls driving on the left wing gets by Woodham's to the cup tough take blocked by
Ruder at the rim Ruder coming back the other way for the Chargers
Top of the key working on McIntyre tough drive take good Router your score six to five
Chargers up with 1754 to play early here the Chargers had two big stops the
Reuters had them both ball almost stolen away again there by Router Jones working here on the
right wing on Ruder, top of the key, tipped away by Ruder.
They got to reset the offense with 16 on the shot clock.
And we're going to be saying that guy's name all day today, aren't we?
Tolls working, top the key, gets the screen from Huyick,
swings it to the corner on Miles.
He'll take the three over, won't go.
Tough rebound by Jones, gets the off into board, up, won't go.
Big Rick will clear it for the chargers.
Janowski back the other way on the left wing.
Finds Big Rick, top of the key.
He'll take the heat check, three ball.
Wedgie.
I told you they were going to shoot some threes.
They love doing that in transition, and it just gets stuck in the back of the basket.
That's going to be possession arrow towards the Chargers, I believe.
Yeah, Kentucky Wesleyan won the tip, so the possession is going to go to the charges.
Should be the Chargers, yeah, they're going to take it out here,
checking in Mikey McCollum for Logan Beeson.
And that was weird because that was one of the more covered threes.
Like we said, they were backing off, took the transition heat check.
Still 6 to 5 here, baseline out of bounds for Janowski.
Yeah, CJ Erion will probably have a couple of those.
He checked threes when he gets into.
Chargers, big men, not afraid to shoot the basketball could be big.
Download Joe Ruder working on checking in Alex Gray.
Three ball.
Janowski banks off, won't go.
Rebound again, cleared by Tolls.
Six to five here.
Tolls gets it in.
Miles looking, swings into Tolls.
He'll take the tough three ball.
Won't go, rebound, tipped around.
Going to be off Jones.
Charger basketball.
Both teams shooting a lot of threes here early.
Yeah, it's exciting.
I mean, not a lot of open looks besides that one from Beeson.
Still six to five here is 17 to play.
Janowski get into the offense, finds Ruder top of the key.
Big Rick on the right wing working on Huyick.
Tries to find Ruder can't screen from Big Rick.
He's working on the low block here, gets doubled.
Doesn't kick it out.
Fade away in the mid-range, won't go.
Tipped around by Woodham's rebound, cleared by Hewick.
Here comes Kennedy Miles, back the other way.
In the corner, finds Gray.
Top of the key, Miles swings it to Jones.
20 on the shot clock here.
Hewitt, top of the key, directing traffic.
Guarded by Big Rick here.
Triple handoff, finds Miles.
He's driving, trying to find something, kicks it out.
Gray pumps to the mid-range.
Going to have to get a shot up here with five.
Swings at Gray, open shot.
Won't go, cleared by McCollum.
I mean, it was a great look there for Kentucky Wesley,
and you thought with the shot clock gone at three and nobody opened
that they weren't going to find anything
and then found a wide open three ball at the top of the lane.
Big Rick on the right wing here.
Chargers setting the offense 6 to 5 here.
McCollum drives. Tipped around.
He controls it. Tipped, stolen by Gray.
Tough defense by the Wildcats cleared away to the point guard.
Kennedy Miles. Miles up top.
Fines Tolls. Swings it to Jones.
Gray on the right wing.
18 on the shot clock. Hewick, top key.
Swings it over. Working.
Tough drive by Tolls and he's filed there.
See who they got on.
It could have been, looks like they're going to get it on McCollum on the reach-in.
It's going to take us to our first media.
time out. You're listening to Ready for Hillsdale.
101.7 FM. Charge your basketball. I'm Gordy. And I'm Evan.
Is there anything wrong with being a good sport? Helping an opponent up after knocking them down?
Sincerely congratulating the other team after the game, win or lose.
Showing respect for referees. It's how we should act every day at every game because nothing beats good sportsmanship.

And welcome back. You're listening to Rayleigh for Eelsda 101.1.7 FM Charger basketball here at Don Timit's
Potter Arena. Crowds starting to fill in after a great win for the ladies team.
Yeah. Dominant. I mean, just dominant. And they've been great towards the end of this stretch.
A tough loss. We mentioned that the game against Asper was going to be a tough one. Couldn't find a way to win
that. But I tell you what, the ladies team has really revived their season, kind of like Kentucky
Wesleyan, where you start off a couple bad losses. But
in basketball, when you start to find that rhythm, it can be dangerous.
Yeah, this is the best Coastville basketball team I've seen since I've been here.
Most as a team, I mean, they've had some individual stars here and there,
Sipping Mills, Grace Chuchet, we're both here tonight watching these games.
But this year, I feel like they're playing like a team.
They have a lot more depth.
They have a better rotation, and Coach Brianna's really got, really got them playing really good.
Yeah, senior Caitlin Splean hit a thousand points on Thursday against Cedarville.
Pretty exciting for the Chargers.
We're going to bring it back here.
baseline out of bounds for Kentucky Wesleyans.
They'll 6 to 5 here with 1546 to play in the first half.
Miles to inbound here.
Tries to find the back cut to Jones stolen again by Router.
Router in transition, great pass.
Fines McCallum in the indign.
Layup, good.
Yeah, great finish there by McCollum, kind of falling over.
A little bit of an awkward layup.
Great pass by Router.
Eight to five here.
Chargers up three.
Top of the key, Jones, Jr., setting the offense to tolls.
In the post, the new big man, Terrence Ringo Jr., the transfer,
Jucco transfer from Evansville, Indiana.
Yeah, and Hillstall brought in their other big man, the 610, C.J. Yerian.
So it doesn't get any little lack of size here for Hillsdale.
You go from 69 to 610.
Yerian, a little bit skinnier, but not skinny.
Yeah, Ringo only at 6.6.215 for Kentucky Wesleyan.
Back the other way, Tolls working on Woodham's in the mid-range.
Turn around, won't go.
A little bit of a four-shot.
there great defense by Woodham's goes out of bounds eight to five year charger basketball up three
yeah and it's one of those great things for Hillsdale they're their play it really smart that ball goes
up it's an air ball just let it go out of bounds don't even risk touching it chanowski back the other way
pull up mid range that's his game won't go rebound cleared by wringo finds miles here
tuggie wesley and on a bit of scoring drought here jones junior swings it to gray top of the key
wringo working on yarion dribble handoff the tolls
down low to Ringo, tipped away
by McCallum, a great defensive play.
Look like Ringo was going to have an open layup.
Checking back in, Logan McIntyre
for Kentucky Wesleyan, along with
number 21, Akhviann Mitchell,
the guard from Irvington,
Kentucky. Miles
takes it out of bounds, tipped away again by Router.
No easy passes when Joe Ruter is on the floor.
Yeah, it looks really early here like Kentucky
Wesleyan's offensive strategy today is going to be
get the mismatches,
screens try to get the screen roll try to get somebody off who should not be guarding the big man a lot of
ISO basketball for them early as well the five points that they have were tough baskets yeah 100% here
a little bit of stoppage trying to figure out i think they're talking about the shot clock here
resets the 14 and the baseline out of balance for gray and the wildcats in the corner gets it into miles
working on woodhams drives to the middle tries to get a put mid-range they're going to say woodham's got him on the arm
What I'm definitely not happy with that one.
I thought he got kind of a clean look.
But I'm going to draw the foul nonetheless.
Two shots here at the line for Kennedy Miles,
the fifth year senior guard from Burlington, North Carolina,
one of their leading scores.
And early, it seems like he's been their offense.
Yeah, 100%.
I mean, dominant here early.
But still having to have tough looks here.
Like, they're not easy shots.
He's just been making them.
Chargers really going after the basketball,
trying to get some steals.
first one's up and good for miles your score 8 to 6 here with 1446 in the first half
Miles second shot is up and also good your score 8 to 7 Chargers up one here
senior guard Cole McWinney in now for the Chargers 7 out Janowski
that's good to get those guys some get some guys some break left wing woodham's
working on Mitchell swings it over Yerian will take the deep three ball we'll go
CJ Yerian with the right wing 311 to 7 now charges up
What did we say about that big man shooting basketball?
We knew that they were going to come out.
Kentucky Wesleyan's sinking that big guy in, trying to help on the cuts,
but it's going to open up some threes for these big guys.
16 on the shot clock miles, top of the key, working on Woodams again.
Screen coming from Ringo.
He'll take the tough pull-up mid-range off the screen,
rebound batted around, secured by Router.
McWinney pushing it back the other way.
Swings it to the corner.
Woodham's will take the spot up three ball in and out.
Rebound cleared by McIntyre.
Another great look for the chargers offensively so far, but getting a lot of open threes here.
Miles swings it back up top, right wing McIntyre, swings it to gray on the left wing guarded by McCollum.
Download a ringo working on Woodham's on the mismatch.
On the block, Woodham's staying close.
Tough shot, has to force it up and it goes.
11 to 9 now charges up too.
Yeah, I mean, it was actually some great defense there by Woodham's.
I think that later in the game, number 34, is going to draw some fouls offensively because of his
Arm bar. He's getting that arm extended, and I think that in a moment's still he falls, he's going to get that charge call on him.
Offense setting up McCallum. He'll take the left wing. Three wide open won't go. Rebound, cleared by Miles.
Coming back here on the left wing, screen by Ringo, top of the key. Miles again working on Yerian.
Swings into the corner, open shot. Mitchell, corner ball, won't go.
Fines nothing but there there. Rebound by Yerian.
That great pass there, but horrible shot. McCallum here working in the mid-range.
Looking for something.
Finds Woodham's on the right wing.
Ruter in the corner.
Working on Mitchell.
Drives to the middle, spins back
baseline.
Tough take, Router, good.
13 to 9 now,
Chargers keeping that lead.
Chargers notoriously for this.
Keeping that slow lead,
not extending it to 15, 20 points,
but always keeping it and just
don't give it up.
McIntyre spinning on Ruder in the mid-range.
Tough shot over Yerian.
They're going to say got him.
Yerian's hands straight up.
bottom on the body it looks like.
Yeah, unfortunate foul there for Yerian.
McIntyre kind of out of control spun back to the mid-range where Yerian had his hands up,
but when you're a bigger player like that on a smaller guard, if you touch him, they're going to call it.
Yeah, and Yerian are going to have to check out here because he does have two fouls,
so they're going to try to get him out of the game, saving for later.
13 to 9 here.
First shot from McIntyre is up in good.
Wildcat's still perfect from the line, 13 to 10 now.
Some subs for the Chargers.
Garrett Boltee, Logan Beeson, as well.
with Caleb Glazer, that third big man.
He is definitely the smallest.
Not small by any means,
but he's the one guy that Kentucky Wesleyan has the size advantage on.
He has 6-8-215 sophomore from Wisconsin
as the second shot is up and good for McIntyre.
13 to 11, charges up two with 1233 to play.
McWenny coming back the other way on the right wing,
top of the key, Glazer.
Trying to find something here, set up that offense,
Garrett Boltey on the wing.
He'll take the three ball.
Boltee, we'll get it.
Big shot there by a big man for the Chargers.
16 to 11 now.
T-shirts flying and Don Tibbitts.
Back the other way, Toll's working on Woodhams.
Trying to find Ringo.
He'll work on Glazer here on the block.
Fines Tolls back to Ringo.
Great pass.
In the mid-range, good.
16 to 13 now.
With 12 to play, Chargers up three.
Screen and roll, screen and roll, screen and roll.
It's all I've been doing all day.
Voltae back in the corner here for the Chargers,
looking for something.
Turns it over to Greenwood.
Gray, great steel. He's in transition. Working on McWinney takes it to the cup. Layup, good.
16 to 15 now. Chargers lead only one with 1140 to play.
I can't do that there. Can't just give him the easy basket on the easy turnover.
Top of the key, Woodham's finds Beeson on the left wing.
We're going to set up that offense finds. Woodham's, he'll take the pull up three ball, won't go.
Rebound cleared by Gray. Looks like he got hit on the head. He seems to be all right.
Graves a rebound. No stoppage there. 16 to 15. Chargers up one.
Kentucky wasn't with a chance to take their first lead.
Yeah, and he might have traveled there, but I think it was good on the refs not to call the travel or the foul and not let it play.
Ringo back down low, working Glazer gets him to jump and he's foul.
Ringo seems to be their offense here early.
Yeah, screen roll, screen and roll, screen and roll.
They've been getting that big man involved, trying to get some switches on.
It's going to take us to a media timeout.
You're listening to Ready for Yieldsdale 101.1.7 FM, Charger basketball.

Listen on Radio Free Hillsdale 101.1.7 FM.
And welcome back. You're listening to Radio for Hillsdale 101.7 FM charge your best.
Your score 16 to 15.
Two shots here for Terence Ringo is going to spark off the bench.
Yeah.
Big Man, they've been getting those switches on the screen and roll and getting those big man involved.
Getting them on some smaller guards or even on the power forwards or maybe 6'4,
I'm trying to take that size advantage.
Yeah, it's been Quentin Tolls and Kennedy Miles as the two veteran guards for them in those screen and rolls.
And if you back off, they're going to take that mid-range.
But if you trap, they are finding a way to find the big man,
and Ringo has been able to convert a couple times here early.
Defensively for Kentucky Wesleyan, they are not allowing easy points to the pain.
They are forcing the Chargers to shoot, but the Chargers are okay with that.
The Chargers love shooting the free ball when it's open, and they've hit so many already,
and they haven't even gotten their shooters hot yet.
Yeah, we saw Beeson, one of their best shooters make one, but other than that,
it's been the two big men, Garibolti, with a nice shot in the corner along with C.J. Yerian on the wing.
Yeah.
Other than that, the points have come from Joe Ruter steals and quick transition baskets for the Chargers.
First shot from Ringo up and good.
They're still perfect from the line to making the free ones count 16 to 16 here.
Chargers with some of their subs still in trying to stop this little bit of a run here from Kentucky Wesleyan.
Interesting shooting for him.
Shooting a yokech style.
Yeah, that second one is also up and good.
The first lead for Kentucky Wesleyan since the beginning of the game, 17 to 16 here.
McWinney back the other way, boltie on the right wing.
Swings it to Glazer, top of the key, left wing Wudoms.
Post touch, down low, boltie on the block.
Swings it to Beeson.
He'll drive, nothing.
Swings at the top of the key, Woodham's.
Left corner, boltie.
He drives to the middle.
Beeson open three.
Three ball fading away.
Won't go.
Rebound cleared by Tolls.
Another three-point shot for the Chargers here.
Tolls setting up that offense working on Boltee here.
A little bit of a mismatch sling to the corner, finds Gray.
Trying to get it down low to Ringo who's working on Glazer.
Denial defense won't let it happen.
They finally get it to him in the corner.
Ringo working on Glazer.
Drives, baseline.
He falls down.
Chargers are going to be able to control it there on a jump ball,
but it's going to go back to Kentucky Wesley and with 11 on the shot clock.
Yeah, great defense there.
Ringo, I talked about it earlier.
He was kind of putting out.
That arm into players, that time trying to lower the shoulder, and Glazier just takes a step back and lets him fall over.
Pulled the chair on him, as they say there, got him to fall. Great defense, and he's going to sub out after some good minutes for Fatihouik.
Another big man. Corner three ball there from McIntyre fading away won't go. Tough rebound, fought around. Tipped out. Beeson controls it.
17 to 16 here. Chargers down one. Beeson back the other way. Fines McWinney on the right wing, guarded by Miles.
Boltey on the right wing, swings at top of the key, Glazer.
He finds McWinney.
He'll take the three ball.
We'll go.
Cole McWenny.
19 to 17, chargers regain the lead.
Yeah, Cole McWenny is a volume shooter.
He doesn't actually shoot that often, but when he does, he seems to be money.
Miles working on McWenney on the left wing, finds Hewick on the top of the key, back to Miles.
Working on McWenney, finds Jones in the corner, trying to get a post-touch again.
They find Hewitt.
Back to Jones.
He'll take the tough.
Pull up mid-range.
Good.
Tough shot there, 19 to 19, all square at Don Tivitz.
Yep.
A deep two with somebody in your face.
You're okay with that shot as a coach.
You can't be upset at that at all.
It's a great shot there by Jones.
Chargers coming back the other way.
20 on the shot clock.
Top of the key, Beeson, finds McWinney on the left wing down low.
Post touch to Woodham's.
The big guard working on Miles.
Tough tank.
And, oh, almost an and one there from Woodham's.
He wanted it, but he's going to get two shots to the line.
Yeah, he fumbled the ball, got it back in his hands.
and still almost made the basket.
Yeah, Woodham's like we talk about on this broadcast a lot is just a big guard.
He's hard to guard with those smaller, less physical players, and he's not afraid to post up.
Yeah, he's like a tight end.
He's kind of a matchup nightmare.
You don't want to guard him with a guard because he's too big,
but you don't want to guard him with a forward because he's too fast.
Yeah, first shot for him's up in no good.
Chargers bring their starting unit back in with Big Rick and Joe Ruter,
along with point guard, Ashton Janowski.
Yeah, and those guys have gotten valuable minutes on the bench, kind of regaining their energy, and Hillstall has maintained this time.
Yeah, something they weren't able to do against Finley because that press was causing so many issues.
So good to see the start risking a break and hope to go on a run here.
Woodham's second shot also up and no good.
Hewick tipped it around, able to save it back to Miles.
19 to 19 still all square here.
Jones Top of the Key finds Tolls.
He'll find Hewick in the mid range, guarded by Big Rick.
Already closely here, trying to move.
Look like he walked.
Wudams tips it around.
14 on the shot clock.
Tolls will reset high screen.
Working deep, pull-up.
Three ball won't go.
Rebound long.
Janowski clears it.
Almost stolen away there by Gray.
Says he didn't touch it, but he did.
McCallum will check in here for Woodhams
who's played most of this first half.
Yeah.
Woodham's actually a huge leader for this team.
I mean, we don't even talk about it enough,
but he leads the chargers and points.
Yeah, he is a fifth year senior,
a guy who's just always kind of been in the rotation,
taking more of a scoring role this year.
Beeson, top of the key off the inbound.
Fines McCollum coming off the down screen on the right wing.
Beeson on the left wing drives.
Tough take. Beeson blocked away at the rim,
but they say it's goaltending.
What a take by Beeson.
Normally don't see that from him.
Great helpside defense by Jones,
but he got it off the backboard.
Yeah, the ball was definitely on its way down as he was blocking it.
2119 here, Chargers back up with 850 to play.
Jones working on Reuter.
Top the key, swings up to tolls in the corner to Gray.
looking to work on Beeson top of the key to Hewick.
He'll drive on Big Rick.
Has nothing. Jones will take it on the right wing.
Post touch on the block to Hewick.
Working on Big Rick.
Squares him up here at the elbow.
Looking to work.
Spins baseline. Tough move.
Good D. By Big Rick.
Jumps blocked by Big Rick.
What a play there.
Looks like he had him beat.
Didn't. Big Rick blocks it back the other way.
Here come the Chargers.
And that's that size advantage right there from the Chargers.
Big Rick here coming back, trying to get a bucket of hits.
zone on Hewick. Double doesn't come, swings it to the corner, tipped around, trying to find Beeson
out of bounds. 2119, still here. Coach getting upset with Hewick on that take. I mean, what can you
really be upset about? He had it right under the basket. Got him to jump and then he blocked it
on the way down. It's incredible with defensive play. 2119, baseline out of bounds, Janowski,
he'll take it for the chargers. Finds Beeson here on the right wing, he'll drive. Spins,
finds Big Rick corner to Janowski. He gets a screen. Looking for that mid-range, pull up, won't find it.
kickout pass. Beeson, pump fake, got him to jump, sidestep, three ball won't go.
A little off-balance shot there, won't go, rebound. Gray coming back the other way,
21-19 here. Yeah, unfortunately, he had the time to get set, but he really couldn't get his feet out under it.
Gray driving here on Beeson, tough take. They're going to get a foul there as well.
Gray hits the deck hard on a physical drive.
Fowling by Beeson, that's going to take us to a immediate timeout. You're listening to Radio Free Hillsdale,

Hello, Ann. Welcome.
Back you listen to Rayfields though, 101.7 FM Charger basketball, two shots at the line here for Alex Gray.
He is a 85% free throw shooter, and they haven't missed one at the line yet.
No.
It Kentucky doesn't even been hot from the line, and the Chargers had one miss miss miss both of them in one round.
You know, got to make those ones count.
Chargers haven't suffered from it yet.
Still up two points, but that could definitely come back late to bite him to bite.
Yeah, Chargers historically, a great free throw shooting team, and even on this season, they've been great.
but Woodham Smith, too, as we mentioned earlier.
Still 2119 Chargers up two, Gray, with a chance to tie, 748 to play.
And what do the Chargers need to do to get that offense kind of more consistent?
I mean, the Chargers have been shooting the three ball, and the three ball, you're right.
It is inconsistent.
But I like it.
They're a good three-point shooting team, and they've been having open looks.
I would say the only other thing that they need to do is crash the basket.
Kentucky Wesleyan has a lot of people who crash the basket defensively on a,
on a dribble drive
and they're definitely lanes to have a cut back behind
and have an easy wide-up and layup
or a guy like Radissovich or Joe Ruder
to have an easy dunk.
It's pretty interesting to see that Miles
is one of their leading rebound guys in this game so far.
The big guy's doing great job boxing out the chargers
and then allowing the guards, like you said,
to crash in there, grab the rebound.
Gray here with his first shot is up and good.
Still put it from line 2120 here with 748 to play
in this first half.
Great content.
here. Both teams looking to stay alive in the G-MAC standings.
Yeah, teams in second and third place, and this game will be for outright second place
because of tiebreakers.
Second one is also up and good.
21-21 here.
Great game.
McCollum checks in for the Chargers.
Big Rick, top of the key, finds a root around the left wing.
McCollum, back to Big Rick, dribble handoff for Janowski.
He gets moving downhill.
Tough pull at mid-range, won't go.
Tipped around, rebound cleared by,
Jones. That is his game, those tough mid-ranges. But coaches honestly usually don't love that because
it's a tough shot and it's not that valuable. It's not a three-pointer. Ringo back in for the
Wildcats. Finds Gray on the right wing. Trying to find a post-touch can't. Finds Jones here on the right
wing. 11 on the shot clock. He's working on Rueh. They set up the offense with eight. Miles gets
the screen from Ringo. Pull up tough mid-range won't go. Rebound. Big Rick. Yeah, I think he was
tripped by Ringo Jr. on the defensive end, McCollum was, but refs didn't see it.
DeSyn back the other way, finds McCollum on the left wing.
Trying to find Janowski there. He does top of the key, 18 on the shot clock.
Big Rick left wing.
Corner three, McCallum, open, tough shot.
Good. Mikey McCallum from Deep 24, 21.
Yeah, I mean, great shot.
Like we said, those loves shooting that three ball.
And right now they have both their three-point shooters in, McCollum and Beeston.
So two options to get hot.
Gray drives to the cup again.
Ball is floated away.
Blocked by Ruter.
McCallum secures it back the other way in transition.
McCallum, tough take, left-hand layup won't go.
Wanted a foul call.
Coach's upset, doesn't get one.
The Wildcats back through the way.
Jones will take the three ball.
We'll get it.
Big shot there.
Edward Jones, Jr. 24, all with six to play.
Yeah, and smart by Radicevich, even though you give up the open three, don't jump.
Don't give up an open two.
Beeson finds, big wreck in the corner, 19 on the shot.
Shot clock for the charters, top of the key McCollum.
Fines Beeson on the left one.
He'll take the deep three ball.
Beeson, not afraid.
27, 24.
Trading three balls here at Don Tibbitts.
Like I said, both three-point shooters are in,
and Mikey McCollum hit a great shot.
Logan Beasen said, I want me some of that.
Edward Jones, Jr. working on Ruder drives.
Tough take, Ruter, good defense, and they get him on the foul.
Ruter did not jump, did not reach,
but once again, the Wildcats have been able to.
able to get to the basket and whenever they're there, it seems to be a foul no matter what.
Yeah, Chargers have not been challenging that, have not been challenging the basket like Kentucky
Wesleyan has. So Kentucky Wesleyan has drawn seven fouls and the Chargers only drawn two.
I mean, you look at that and you say there's a pretty big disparity, but it's not the
refs haven't been uneven. It's that the Chargers haven't given them opportunities to call files.
Yeah, and it'll be interesting to see if that's a talking point.
A couple subs in here for the Chargers. Beeson and Big Rick check out along with Janowski.
27, 25 here. Chargers still up.
First free throw from Jones Jr. was up and could, and they have still not missed from the line.
Yeah. And they're already in the single bonus here with six minutes left to play in this first half.
Second shot to stay perfect is also up in nothing but net. 27, 26, Chargers up one with 541 to play.
McCollum sets up the offense top of the key router. Backcut finds McWinney down low.
He's working. Balls tipped around. They got the foul.
McWinney says he was shooting. They're going to talk about it. I'm not sure he was.
He stands at the line trying to get it, and I think he is.
Wow.
No, they're not.
They're going to give it out of bounds.
McWenny, great sell job there to just go right to the line and say, hey, I was shooting.
He was definitely thinking about shooting.
He was off the ground, but there's no actual shot in motion ever involved.
27, 26 here, baseline out of bounds for the chargers off the foul.
They're going to sub out Kennedy Miles, only his first foul.
He's been great tonight.
Yeah, a huge spark on those dribble handoffs.
I've been able to get the big man open.
Chargers, baseline out of bounds play.
They find Woodham's top of the key.
He pumps, trying to find a post-toucher.
Router working on Gray here.
A little bit of a size advantage.
Drives, kick out.
McCallum, not afraid to shoot the three ball.
Mikey McCallum from Deep 3026.
There it is.
Like I said, those three balls will fall.
I'm not afraid of what the chargers have done on offense.
I wouldn't change a thing.
Coming back, trying to respond.
Here are the Wildcats.
Ball tipped by McCallum.
Left wing, Jones, Jones,
Junior working on Router, the tough defender.
One of the best in the G-Mack here.
Right wing, Jones crosses over, can't find anything.
They get a post-touch.
Hewick working on Glazer.
He backs it out.
Five on the shot clock.
Tolls has to take a great dump-in pass.
Balls tipped around, won't go, rebound McCollum.
Hewick hits the deck, and they have numbers back the other way.
McCollum finds McWinney, left wing, three ball.
In and out, won't go, rebound gray.
Offensively, wouldn't change the thing.
defensively now the chargers need to step up and i mean another good look for kentucky wesley and
you've got to slow him down somehow 30 to 26 here 4 30 to play top of the key hewick finds tolls
finds it down low stolen by glazer great defense on the pick and roll mcweeney brings it back the other
way gets the screen from glazer driving mcwinnie doesn't normally do it but he does here 32 26

You're listening to Ray Frielsdale 101.7 FM Charger basketball.
3226.
Like we mentioned, chargers don't change anything, keep shooting, and they've expanded their lead to six.
Yeah, and with this shooting, you saw something that you don't see very often.
Wide open drive for the basket for Cole McQuinney.
I mean, all this shooting has made them cover the free ball.
They've spent a lot more spread out that last two drives, and they've opened lanes down in the middle.
Now defensively, you definitely have to change some things for the Chargers.
Probably what Coach Bradley is talking about in this timeout right here.
But on that last drive, finally able to get a steal there and cause a turnover for this Kentucky Wesleyan team,
who isn't in the negative turnover margin?
Yeah, I think Coach Bradley was pumped about the way, like we said,
those triple handoffs, those screen and rolls have been vital to this Kentucky Wesleyan offense.
And a nice hedge by Glazer got back and stole it.
That's been the difference early as can the Chargers defend it?
And I tell you what, Mikey McCollum, a flamethrower type shot?
shooter when he heats up and he's made fading in the corner three ball deep one on that last one
and once he sees one go in watch out yeah Logan bison wanted the piece of that too
saw McCullough make that first fading three and he's made a couple of his own here tonight
exciting basketball here we're coming back the other way four minutes to play 32 26 miles dumps
to download a ring go working on rudder on the block rudder guarding the big man tough drive spins
back rudder won't allow it still working on him driving tipped away by rudder out of bounds
Rooter says it's off him and it is Joe Ruter.
Coach from Kentucky Wesley and is fired up about it.
Doesn't want to get a technical here but what a play by Router.
Yeah, I mean just amazing steel.
And right there we saw a defensive change by Kevin Bradley.
He played that dribble handoff different than we played all of them all day.
32, 26 here.
Chargers up with the basketball.
3.48 to play McWenney on the pick and roll.
What a pass.
Dump down to Glazer.
Cole McWinney with the dish.
3426.
Sometimes you're excited that they don't pay a show pictures
on the stat sheet and then sometimes you're really
upset because I mean just a beautiful assist there
Mike Winnie. Cole McWenny
feeling himself here at Don Tibbitt's the
senior from Ohio. 3426
Back the other way.
Top of the key, Miles, working on McCallum.
Looking for that screen from Ringo.
He gets it. McCollum, tough defense.
The screen, can't find anything, has to go
to the corner to Jones. Working on Glazer
4 on the shot clock Jones. Step back, three ball.
Tough one won't go.
rebound cleared by Woodham's
Chargers have numbers he finds Glazer
what a pass Blazer skies for it
can't get the lay up to go
34 26 3 to play
Glazer has to hustle back to get on defense
Jones finds McIntyre
he'll take the fading three ball
won't go rebound cleared by Woodhams
great job there my Mikey McCollum
taking that big man and didn't
allow an easy post touch and
score when he had the disadvantage
cheap file there by Jones Jr. on
Woodham's and the Chargers offense has been
led by Cole McWinney on this stretch.
Yeah, I mean, he's absolutely hot.
A three-pointer, a nice dribble drive for an easy layup,
and then a nice dribble drive with a beautiful assist
that you wish the picture could show up in the statute for.
Look like John Stockton on that one.
Up top of the key McCollum, tough pass, finds,
tipped around back to him.
13 on the shot clock.
McWenny on the right wing, he's driving.
Feeling a tough take, and he's filed on the shot.
Cole McWenney has been the spark the Chargers needed,
and he'll get two shots from the line.
Putting his ball in his hands right now is what they want to do.
It seems to be force-feeding them.
And you see the chargers themselves.
They're running a little picking roll with Glazer, the athletic big man.
And it's been working.
McWenny getting that guy behind him on the screen as they are not switching it.
And he's finding a way to find a pass.
That one he was fouled on a pull-up mid-range.
Two shots here for him.
Had to foul.
I mean, the guy was behind him.
There's no way that he was blocking that shot with McCuony's momentum.
And just decided, hey, I'm not going to let him get an open two-pointer.
I'm going to hope the ref doesn't see me kind of clip him.
a little bit. McWenny's staying hot makes the first one 80% free throw shooter doesn't get many like
we mentioned more of a three-point shooter but first one's up in good 35 26-26-2-33 to play.
Yeah and those great three-point shooters the guys who are calm and collected are usually great
free throw shooters. As he says that second one's up in good 36 26 charges with the biggest lead
of the night need a stop here to have some momentum keeping in the half. Jones working on river top
the key screen tough pull-up bird range over Glazer won't go rebound cleared by McCollum
coming back the other way macawom with speed great pass to rooder down low oh what a finish
joe rudder with the docey dough 3826 yeah a little pump fork double reverse on the layout
what a shot miles back the other way working on mccallum oh mccallum thought he played great defense
got him on the drive baseline and it's going to be a one-on-one for miles here yeah the chargers are
hot i'm actually surprised the kentucky wesley and his hasn't called a time out here
Chargers up 12 and on their biggest run on the night.
Miles, only a 74% free throw shooter, as well as he scores from the field.
They still have a miss from the line, though.
We'll see when that first miss happens if it does.
McCollum subbed out upset with the call, but he's been playing great.
Chargers are going to keep McWinney in as well.
Yeah, they subbed out pretty much everybody,
and usually when they do that, they take McQuinney out and put their starting guard in Esh and Janowski.
But with how hot McQuini has been, they did not to take him out and say,
let him take that ball up down the floor.
First one is up and good.
Gets the bonus.
3827 with two to play.
Chargers up.
Second shot is up and good as well.
Miles playing a great game.
3828 here with two to play.
Like we said, McWenny will man the offense.
The guy who doesn't play a whole lot of minutes, but he is today.
McWinney on the right wing finds Big Rick, left wing.
Finds Woodham's top of the key rudder.
He drives.
Tough take, Router.
High off the glass.
Good with the left hand.
Joe Ruter.
40 to 28 now, Chargers expanding that lead once again.
There were four guys who jumped with that shot,
and Ruder still finds a way to get it over every single one of them.
Toll's working on.
Woodhams here drives baseline.
Tough day.
Blocked by Woodhams.
He gets the rebound himself.
Minute 30 to play.
He takes it back the other way.
He finds Bison on the right wing.
McWenny.
Driving here, finds Woodhams.
Beeson, left wing.
Thought about shooting it, didn't.
Finds Router on the low block.
Great pass.
Woodham's backdoor fine.
Good.
42, 28.
Chargers are on fire now.
All those three-pointers has Kentucky Wesleyan really worried and they stopped playing their regular style of defense and left open that backdoor cut that Holtzell loves to find.
Ringo, jabb, mid-range, good.
Stops the bleeding, 42, 30 with a minute to play.
Chargers still up 12.
McGuney, he'll take it here.
Guarded tightly by Mitchell.
Yeah, really, really deep two there.
And kind of a questionable shot.
I almost want to step back and take the three at that point.
What I'm striving, and they're going to say a push-off.
Like we said, he's a big physical guard,
and Gray used that to his advantage to get the push-off.
Yeah, you can also feel the momentum here,
because the Chargers fans are packed.
Gone to its potterina is packed.
The whole football team is here.
I've got a lot of fans here on a Saturday,
and it's an exciting environment right now.
Top of the key, McIntyre swings it to Tolls on the left wing.
45 seconds.
McIntyre will take the deep three.
Good. Little run here from Kentucky, Wesleyan, 42, 33, with 40 seconds to go in this first half.
Chargers get it in to Ruder back to McWinney, 33 seconds. Taking their time. They're going to get a timeout here for the charges.
Trying to step the offense. You're listening to Radio for Eelsdale. 101.7 FM Charger basketball. I'm Gordy.

Let's hit the road.
Hello and welcome back.
You're listening to Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM Charger Basketball.
4233.
A little run there from Kentucky Wesley and what was going right on those couple of.
baskets. I mean, you find some open
looks and, you know, defense breaks down
eventually.
Had some good baskets,
you know, start hitting shots every once in a while, but
wouldn't really change much for the Chargers.
A lot of things been going right and a very, very smart
play there to, after the shots going,
the clock's still running and able to kind of get
the last basket here because
they just waited to throw that inbound pass. Very smart
play by the Chargers. Inbound goes to
McWenny. 20 seconds left.
13 on the shot clock.
Finds Big Rick. Driving and he's fouled.
tough defense by Ringo, Big Rick, shot it after airball.
But it doesn't matter.
Shoot that one during draws the foul.
That's going to turn the shot clock off here, which is huge for the charges.
They get the last opportunity headed into the half with at least a nine-point lead.
McWinney top of the key, 10 on the clock.
Finds Big Rick.
Fines Rooder, tough take, Router, floater off the glass won't go.
Tipped around.
Who's it off of?
It's going to be off Kentucky Wesley, and the charge is going to be.
going to get a shot here off the baseline out of bounds got 3.4 seconds left you're looking for a quick
double screen in a shot or something under the basket where you can just get a good look
veteran woodham's will take it out of bounds like we said three on the clock running bison
fading three ball won't go it's going to take us to the half exciting one here 42 33 you're listening
to radio free hills down 101.1.7 FM charge your basketball I'm 40 and I'm Evan you are listening to
radio for heels though 101.7 FM and you are listening to radio for yields down 101.
as the Chargers come back onto the court up 423.
What is the keys for Kentucky Wesleyan?
Second team in the conference to keep that first place hope alive.
I mean, they've let the Chargers shoot so well from three.
They played the paint very, very well in the first half
and allowed that three ball with Chargers shot so well if they came out of it.
And then Chargers further to find open lane.
The Kentucky Wesleyan just needs to play better on defense.
They were playing originally too loose,
and now they're playing too tight.
You need to find somewhere in that midground if they want to make up any defensive ground
because the Chargers have done whatever they want on offense.
They have 42 points right now in the first half.
Yeah, it's been excellent coaching performance, in my opinion, from Coach Kevin Bradley with the Chargers
because early pick and rolls, dribble handoffs killing the Chargers.
They had no answer for it.
They just had to hope Kentucky Wesleyan was missing those great looks.
Second half of that first half, you started to see them changing things up, hedging more, switching more,
making more plays on it, and that was a huge difference.
And then offensively, like we said, we're going to have to make some threes.
They took them, made them.
That opens up everything, as you said, Kentucky Wesleyan has to extend that defense out,
which early you saw they didn't want to.
Yeah, and that first half, I mean, I thought it was a great coaching decision.
I agree with you.
They were having those screen roles.
And so what they did was they took Joe Ruter, who was on an off ball guy,
and they said, hey, your job is as soon as he, you see that screen.
You cover the role, both of the other two guys hedge and whoever the big man is,
go cover Joe Ruter's guy and let Joe Ruder take the gun on the big man because he can do it.
He has the size.
Originally, that dominant offense was led by Ringo and he had eight points.
That was where all the points were coming from.
Yeah, he was a great spark, not a starter for them.
He transferred like he talked about at the beginning, but he has done a fantastic job of just being that presence down there.
He's not the biggest player either, which is surprising.
Only 6-6-215, obviously not small, but compared to the chargers, but he was able to get.
get it on those rolls where he had the mismatch.
Yeah, Chargers, on the other hand, leading scorers today, Joe Ruder, with nine points,
and he also has two steel.
I believe that he had both two baskets off those two steals, so points off turnover is huge for the Chargers.
Other than that, Logan Beeston and Mikey McCollum, the two three-point shooters.
Both have eight points today.
Both have been pretty hot for the Chargers, and then Cole McQuinnie, a guy who everybody loves to see ball.
one of the nicest guys ever and he's a great basketball player and he's been balling today
having himself a game yeah we saw Janowski who also great point guard does a great job
facilitating that offense but when the chargers went on their run it was McWinney and he was able
to get in and stay and great again on the coach Kevin Bradley to keep him in if you got a guy playing
like that you got to be able to keep him in and he and Glazer in that pick and roll a couple
bench guys looked fantastic yeah a couple guys who do play every game but they don't play a
lot and just a spark off the bench, which is phenomenal to see. Bench points, when you get to the
tournaments like the March Maddenous tournament, and you look at bench point, that's usually a key
indicator of wins. Yeah, the Chargers, very charger-esque basketball here early. A lot of guys with
eight points. Not a team that's going to have a guy take over a game typically, at least in my time
here, and it's great to see them playing team basketball because that's when they win. Yeah, that is,
100% when they win. And we're right at the back half of that first.
half like you were talking about playing better defense too.
Yeah, and the big key to that, I think, has been Joe Ruter's offensive aggressiveness.
He is a guy that obviously can shoot the basketball well, but he is so good at driving and
finishing with both hands, finished a couple tough left-handed layups, and he's a guy that
I think is going to stay aggressive in the second half.
Yeah, a guy who I would think would get hot this half is Charles Woodham's just had some open
looks for three, and on the season he's been a great three-point shooter, but he hasn't hit any.
Look for him to get really, really hot this second half.
We are underway with the second half inbound.
Goes to Ashton Jannowski and the Chargers have it.
42, 33, as we mentioned, they are up nine.
Corner Woodhams.
Dumps down early, post-touch, big Rick.
Working on, Hayek.
Driving, spinning, tough physical floater.
Rattles around, won't go, rebound.
Hewick.
Yeah, Hewick being very, very physical there.
I thought kind of lucky not to draw the foul on the ground.
Top of the key here, Miles.
Miles working on Janowski, that screen and roll, and he left early.
Like we said, that screen and roll game is huge,
and Hewick just left early, and they call the moving screen.
Yeah, he left early, and I think he got both hands shove on there.
I think the combination of the two is what made the refs call it.
And Kentucky Wesleyan's basketball head coach,
kind of a hothead as I've heard in previous years.
Very upset with that call.
Top of the key, big rig for the chargers, finds Janowski.
He'll take the rare three ball.
Wonktoe rattles around, rebound cleared by McIntyre.
Now unfortunate game for Janowski so far as far as stat sheet goes, but he's done a great job.
It's facilitating it anyways.
And tough there.
Big three-point shot from Quentin Toll's step back.
Good, 42-36 now.
Big Rick, top of the key, finds Beeson on the left wing.
Looking to drive on McIntyre, spins back to the middle, backing them down.
Tough post fade away.
Won't go rebound, Big Rick.
He's got Hayek on him.
Spins.
Tough.
shot won't go again for the chargers but offensive rebounds i mean you take enough shots you're going to make
them getting some good looks there for the chargers back the other way kentucky wesley and jones working on
ruders swings at top the key tolls on woodhams 17 on the shot clock here tolls will set up the offense
takes it back here here comes the screen from hewick driving tolls great pass great help by jennowski
ties them up possession arrow is with kentucky wesley and but like we said that help side on the screen
and roll. Smaller player there, Janowski got his hand in there. I mean, Ashton Janowski,
probably the smallest player on Hillsdale who plays a significant amount of minutes,
getting in there and getting a jump ball from a big man. In-bounds goes to Jones. He'll take a tough
shot. Good. He's made those all night. 42, 38 now, chargers up four. Yeah, Jones,
maybe not the best dribbler, but a freak athlete out there. I mean, we've seen him get up and have a
block about halfway up the backboard. He gets some height on those jumps. Janowski driving here,
baseline doubled kicks it out bison will take the corner three ball good logan bison the sharp shooter
45 38 just like that he'll still back into that three-point shooting matchup as kentucky wesley and his
sag didn't try to cover the two left wing here jones finds jones will take the pull-up mid range there
good again like we said he's made tough mid he's all day 45 40 he gets out there so high that if you're not
already in front of him it's so hard to jump to
with him. Top of the key, Ruter finds. Backcut, Janowski spins it off the backboard. Good.
4740. And I think that was perfect. That was exactly what Janowski needs because those are his first
points of the game. Hoping to get hot here for the chargers. Top of the key, Jones finds Hewick.
Looking for a back cut, can't find it. Jones working on Ruter, no. Fines McIntyre coming off
the screen. Fines Hewick. Router there on the help side. Trying to back him down. Tough floater,
tipped around won't go. Rebounds loose. Janowski clears it. Man, down. They have an advantage.
Here. Janowski tough take here, swings it. Back to Big Rick.
Size advantage, hook shot up and over. Won't go. Janowski rebound won't go as well.
Another great offensive rebound there for the Chargers, but just not seeming to hit shots here,
but they're hitting enough to keep a pretty big lead, which means that once they get hot,
they'll be on stop. Big Rick with a couple tough layups that haven't been able to fall here,
rattle around. Here come the Wildcats back the other way, top of the key.
Fines it. Backcut, McIntyre layup. Good on Beeson.
Great backdoor cut. First.
Kentucky Wesleyan has been able to find all day.
They've been looking for him but had no luck against this great charter defense.
47, 42 is 1635.
Woodham's on the right wing, swings it to Router, top the key.
Janowski in the mid-range, trying to stay hot.
Mid-range rattles around again, won't go.
47, 42 still here, charges up five.
Back the other way, comes Tolls.
Working on Woodham's.
Jones in the mid-range again.
Working on Router.
Can't find anything.
Has to get it back up top to Tolls.
This is 15 on the shot clock.
Screen here from Hewick denies it, takes a great pass in the middle of the McIntyre.
What a find.
47-44 lead, cut to three here for the Wildcats.
And Kentucky Buzzling so far this half been able to take advantage of that Jurruder switch
and finding extra ball passes to get open shots.
In the corner, Janowski here, guarded tightly drives baseline and it's off his foot.
Janowski looked like you had a lane, can't find it.
That's going to take us to our first media timeout.
47-44.

on Radio Free Hillsdale, 101.7 FM.
Hello, and welcome back to Don Tibbetts Potter Arena.
You're listening to Radio for Hillsdale, 101.1.7F.m. Charger basketball, 47-44, a little run from Kentucky Wesley
and what was cooking for them on offense.
Well, offensively for sure is whether they beat the Chargers.
The Chargers offensively, I don't think they need to change anything in hell.
Having shit shots, had baskets roll around and fall out.
But defensively for the Chargers and offensively for Kentucky Wesley.
and Dexley-E-Lisley done a much better job of moving the ball around.
Passing those screens, getting those quick passes under the defense and underneath the basket on the switches.
Chargers need to look to either switch faster or switch less often,
which I think that they'll switch faster here coming out of this time now.
Yeah, C.J. Yerian checking in as long with Mikey McCollum for the Chargers.
And the big key for them has been Logan McIar, the junior forward from Ramsey, Indiana.
when they do switch, like you mentioned, on that big guy,
he's cut in right behind him.
And it's tough to find a guy when you're switching like that.
You have to talk much more.
47-44 here, out-of-balance baseline goes into Kennedy Miles for the Wildcats.
It looks like, and maybe I'm wrong.
Oh, never mind.
I was going to say the charters might be in a zone, but they do not.
They stick in man top of the key Jones working on rotor.
Trying to find Ringo back in for Hewick.
Swings it.
Pump.
Three ball.
Take in.
And we'll go. Big shot from Quinn Tolls and we're all square.
A little run from Kentucky Wesleyan, 47, 47, 15, 28 to play in this game.
Woodham's top of the key, looking for something here.
He'll drive on Tolls.
Backing him down with a size advantage.
Good duck in, download a Yerian and he's fouled.
Great pass by Woodham's as he was driving to find Yerian who'll get two shots here.
47, 47.
Great run there.
sparked by, like we said, Logan McIntyre, and then a big shot from Quintels.
This is it, though, right here.
These two free throws, slow the game down.
They're putting Cole McQueenie, who's had a great game today, back in the game.
Yerian's first one is up and no good off the front of the rim.
He shoots the free throw at about a 55%, so not their best free throw shooter at the line for the big man.
No, very, very tall.
He shoots a lot of free throws, but kind of like,
Jack, when you have so many under the basket touches, you don't get used to those free throws.
He's had 18, making 19 attempts on the year.
Second shot here.
Yerian's second one is up and good.
Rows around 48, 47.
Chargers regained the lead.
Back the other way comes Quentin Tolls, working on Woodham's screen from Ringo.
Driving, kickout, finds McIntyre.
Looking to work on the column.
Back up top to Toll's, set up the offense at 20 on the shot clock.
Ringo top key swings at left wing, Jones.
Jones finds McIntyre here on the left wing 12 on the shot clock now
finding a post touch download Ringo he spins tough take Yerian blocks it away what a foul
tough move by Ringo Yerian played it just about as good as you can there got back got a piece of it got his arm as well
yeah unfortunate there I mean you were really really close to getting a clean block but just enough to call that contact
and Kentucky Wesleyan who has been perfect from the charity stripe gets another two attempts
first one is up and also good and they're not even hitting the rim.
No, nothing but not every time.
And Yarian has three fouls here.
Going to have to be a little bit careful the rest of the game.
Big Rick and Glazer, the other two options sitting on the bench right now.
Ringo's second shot here, 48 all with 1455 to play.
This G-MAC matchup is a big one.
That one's also good.
Lead goes back to the Wildcats, 49, 48.
Chargers had a huge lead going into this half.
You were hoping they were going to be able to maintain it.
Just throughout the course of the game, stay up 10, but kind of gave it away here early in the second half.
Ruder looking to drive on Jones.
Tough take, kickout, finds McCollum, open three on the wing.
Won't go.
Rebound Woodham's tough grab.
Gets a man to jump, but it's blocked.
He gets his own rebound again.
15 on the shot clock.
Back up top to McCollum spinning.
Driving here on Gray.
Fines Yerian.
He'll take a three.
His second of the night is good.
CJ Yerian, two for two from deep.
Tide for the most three-pointers on the team.
I mean we talk about these other guys, but somehow when CJ Yerian is open, he loves to shoot that three ball.
Back the other way, Ringo on the block working on Yerian who just made the three ball.
He's looking to work.
Spins, good layup, tough one.
Ringo, the relating score gets it to go.
51 all with 14 to play.
Yeah.
I really think that the Chargers need to start taking charges on him.
He's lowering his shoulder so much.
McWenney, Pines, download him a column.
Can't find it.
Yerian.
Skies for the rebound.
Definitely going to review this one.
It looked like Yerian tipped it out of bounds.
Their coach is fired up.
They're going to change the call there.
Going to go to the Wildcats.
Good luck on the back cut from McCallum.
Couldn't get it to convert 51 all here and a great G-MAC matchup for second place.
Yeah.
Offensively, once again, for the Chargers.
Playing great.
Nothing to change.
Defensively, got to start drawing chargers here.
Again, back to the screen, finds Jones on the right wing.
Tolls on the left wing, looking to find Ringo.
He'll get at top of the key, guarded closely by area.
Right-wing Jones working on Router 14 on the shot clock.
Back to Jones on the dribble handoff.
Left wing.
Driving on Router.
Tough take.
Ruter doesn't jump.
Floater won't go.
Balls tipped up.
Rebound goes to Woodhams.
Chargers have numbers here.
Back to either way,
Wudems will slow things up and set up the offense.
Able to find Ruder here.
Top of the key, swings at Yerian on the left wing.
Guarded closely after those two threes.
Top of the key, McWinney.
15 on the shock.
McCollum wide open.
Three ball.
Won't go.
Rebound cleared by Jones.
51 all here with 13 to play.
an exciting matchup here down the stretch tie game middle of the second half gray working here on the smaller mcwinnie the big guard
mcwini oh tried to back door him with a steel got him on the arm great play thereby mcwini knew he had the size disadvantage
try to go for a steel but he got him on the arm yeah i think that the chargers really really and i'm him you i keep saying it
really need to start drawing chargers these kentucky bison players are lowering their shoulders and the moment that you hit the ground after they lower their shoulder
You're going to get a charge every single time.
You saw one earlier in the game on Wottoms for the Chargers,
so you know the refs are looking for it.
51 all here, baseline out of bounds.
Check back into the game, Kennedy Miles, the guard.
And check back in for the Chargers, Garibouti and Caleb Laser.
Coming off a screen, McIntyre.
Takes the fading three over McCallum.
Won't go rebound again, Wadams.
51 All coming back the other way.
Here come the Chargers.
Woodham's top of the key, finds Boltee left wing.
In the corner to McCallum.
he's guarded closely by Kennedy miles left wing finds McWinney
guarded by Tolls here 14 on the shot clock
McWinney swings it over to McCallum he's looking to drive
Can't find anything here dump it down load of Glazer he's doubled
Five in the shot clock kick out McCallum will take the deep three ball won't go again
Out of bounds 51 all still and McCallum missed a couple in a row now
Yeah unfortunately there for McCollum getting a little bit cold
But he was hot he still has a good shooting percentage on the day overall
I would look to keep shooting here.
Yeah, all three of those, a little bit of a theme.
They're all short.
See if legs are getting a little tired here down the stretches.
He's played great defense.
51 all here.
Back the other way, Kennedy Miles here working on McQuinn.
Swings it up to McIntyre on McCollum.
Balls tipped around.
McCollum steals it.
And he loses it.
Back the other way.
Open three ball miles for the wildcats won't go.
Rebound McIntyre's tipped around.
He's going to go up with it.
Good.
53, 51.
Now, Chargers down two with 1150 to play.
We were at that 51-51 standstill for a long time.
Scoring finally opens here for one of the two teams,
and it's for the Kentucky Wesleyan Wildcats.
Glazer on the right wing, McCollum, gets it on the screen and roll,
finds Glazer.
Tough take.
He's blocked by two defenders, but he hits the deck hard.
Kennedy Miles swung over to help side.
It's going to take us to immediate timeout.
You're listening to Radio for Eelsdale 101.7 FM, Charger Basketball.

Listen to Radio Freehillsdale, 101.7 FM Chargers, basketball, 53, 51. Chargers down two with a chance of ties. Caleb Glazer goes the line.
Yeah, Chargers have not shot well in this portion of the second half. We've had good looks.
Defensively, they've played a little bit better those last couple drives, but still some struggles.
Even on the defensive rebounding, a lot of a couple offensive rebounds, got to stop those here, mitigate those.
Those are just extra free possessions.
Yeah, Caleb Glazer headed the line. He's one of the highest volume, free-dose shooters to them, a big physical bench player.
has 34 attempts on the year.
It's made 65%.
See if you can knock these in the chargers.
That's been another difference.
Kentucky Wesleyan has made probably upwards of 12 free throws.
They've made them all, and the chargers have struggled at the line.
Yeah, chargers, I think, are under 500 or exactly 500 at the free throw line.
And meanwhile, Kentucky Wesleyan is perfect.
And in a two-point game, those charity striped shots, big difference.
Caleb Glazer here with a chance to tie with 1143 to play.
Chargers here trying to keep the...
the lead to a minimum for the Wildcats with their bench unit in.
Logan Beeson checks in for Mikey McCall.
See if he can get that stroke going from deep.
Yeah, and Cole McQueenie is back in, still in.
Trying to get him hot again like he was in the first half.
Yeah, it was a great facilitator, doing a little bit of everything for them.
See what Glazer has here at the line.
First one's up and good.
Big shot there, 53, 52.
It's off the front of the rim, and most of those ones they hit off the front of the rim for the
Chargers, so they have just fallen short.
But that one finally able to roll up and fall in.
in second shot here from glazer up and pure makes two big job there 53 all we got an exciting one here
don tevitz second place in the conference up for grabs here kennedy miles on left wing guarded by
mcwinnie top of the key wringo the big man leading score for the wildcats tonight finds gray on the
top of the key guarded by bolty tough defense gets by him drives it can't find anything has nothing to do has to float it back to
Miles with eight on the shot clock.
Miles has to go.
Five on the shot clock.
Pull up.
Tough three ball.
Good.
Kennedy, Miles, knocks it in,
and there's a foul on the ground before.
Basket's going to count there.
56, 53.
They're going to get Glazer with the foul on the physical rebound.
Ringo, tough player down there.
He got him on the boxout.
And so they're going to call it not on the rebound,
but after the shot.
And they're going to give the ball back to Kentucky Wesleyan here.
Normally you see it where it is just Charger basketball with a foul,
but it's going to be a baseline out of bounds here. Kennedy Miles
inbound at 56.53 and a chance for potentially six points on this possession alone.
Yeah. Chargers going to have to look to draw some fouls here on the ultra-aggressive Ringo.
Top of the key here, Gray, 18 on the shot clock, sets it back up with Miles, guarded by McWinney.
Three-point game. Miles driving. Kicks it down to Ringo. What a pass, and one finish.
McWinney got him on the arm. It looks like what a pass by Miles spinning in the air, dumps it down to Ringo, who's a down to Ringo, who's a pass.
on fire tonight. Yeah, Ringo probably having
his best game of the season here.
I mean, I haven't watched him play much, but
this is not the typical stat sheet
game. Terrence Ringo, averaging
six points a game. He
had that easily in the first half, and he's just
keeping adding onto it. Joe
we were going to check back in, hoping for a spark
as it is 58-53 with a chance,
like we said, for six points on this possession.
Yeah, Ringo has four
tonight. Sorry, 14
tonight. Oh, my gosh, it wasn't good,
almost rebounded and put back. They can't
find it. Ringgo blocked by Glazer. What a shot block there. McWenney clears the rebound.
58-53 after the first miss from the line of the night. Yeah, I mean, Ringo has been hot all night and
Glazer finally gets him huge block there for the Chargers. High screen from Glazer. McWenney
scans the offense. He's driving. Kicks it out. Beeson. Rhythm. Three ball. Chargers need it
and they get it. Logan Beeson. 58, 56. Chargers down two. Yeah, just like that. It's a two-point
game and that's a huge momentum swift in the Charters favor as it goes crazy here for the t-shirts
in don t-shirts in don tibbitts potter arena gray left wing wringo top of the key guarded by glazer
they're going to set up the offense with 15 on the shot clock miles driving on a

kentucky wesley and basketball defenses just effort there by
the Chargers lost for words 58 56 with 1009 only three seconds on the shot clock Kentucky Wesley into inbound they're gonna need a little fadeaway three pointer here and there's their man Jones he's hit the tough shot all night and it's good 60 to 56 to that tough mid-range from Jones Jr just an incredible knife for him and for Ringo top of the key glazer here Chargers trying to stay in it McWinney looking can't find anything on the left wing finds boltie pump fakes drive tough

Welcome back. You're listening to Ready for Hillsdale 101.7 FM Charger basketball.
Your score 62, 56. Chargers down six with 929 to play.
Kentucky Wesley and just building on that lead.
Yeah, I think. So I was trying to listen as much as I can to the timeout from up here
for much coach Kevin Bradley has to say. And he specifically called out Kail Glazer.
I believe that he was talking about drawn fouls on Ringo.
Yeah, and a lot of subs coming in here.
for the Chargers big Rick coming back in along with Ashton Janowski.
The Chargers, coach Kevin Bradley, normally very animated, kind of call him in the huddle
for the most part.
He's trying to inspire his team, but realize that they were up nine at one point, so there's
no reason to press.
They can come back on this Kentucky Wesleyan team.
I think he knows the Chargers have been playing good basketball.
I think part of it is he's telling them not to change anything offensively.
There's nothing to be upset about there.
And defensively, we're just going to change little bits and pieces.
It's not about a failure to play.
It's, hey, maybe this little scheme thing isn't.
working right now that was working earlier and we need to make a change but it's nothing to be upset
about other players players have been playing great all night and uh and once they start hitting shots
i think they'll be right back in this game sideline inbound goes to genowski top of the key
920 to play here boltie trying to find a post touch ducks it down in on the block big rick spins
tough take wringo blocks it no foul cleared away by miles he swings it
can't find anything tipped around big rick almost the steel goes to gray open three
look off the turnover. Good. Huge shot from Kentucky Wesleyan by Quentin Tolls.
Sorry, 65, 56 here now. And you thought the Chargers there had a free steal, but the ball's
kind of tipped away and falls right in the hands of the only Kentucky Wesleyan player there.
Router with a tough take. Going to be a foul there on the drive on Jones. He's kind of talking to
his teammates saying, hey, I didn't need help there on the bigger Router. It's going to be on the
ground 65 56 here as the clock is dwindling chargers down nine and just like that they were up nine
at half and then it flips yeah you need to look to hit some early shots here before we get down under four
minutes in bounds goes to what um's corner three need it caught it the senior leader knocks it down
65 59 and that woke up this arena yeah with some of his first points in the game he has not had an
amazing night and has not really shot a lot tonight like i said look to him
get hot in the second half. This might be it right here. Kennedy Miles, working on Janowski screened by
Ringo. Got it, a legal one. They've been trying to slip those screens all night. Got a little too much
of Janowski. And here comes the momentum back the other way, 65, 59 Chargers Ball. And I think that's what
we talked about hedging those screens and trying to draw some fouls on the offensive side.
They're going to take out Ringo as that is his fourth, a huge storyline with only 820 to play.
Their leading score on the night has to sub out. Yeah, he's been the dominant performer for them
all night and he's really been the spark on offense. Big Rick here had a post touch and interesting
move from Kentucky Wesley and they're starting big man, Fatihueh is not in so they have no
large players in for them and they try to get a post touch Big Rick Kentucky Wesley and had no choice
but to follow him. Yeah he kind of hugs him there. Big Rick had the basketball up in the air
trying to get one of those over-the-arc passes to get a free layup and he just grabs him and pulls him back.
baseline out of bounds. Woodham's to
imbound it here. Chargers down
six. Fines, Ruder in the corner.
He'll drive baseline. Balls tipped around.
Kick out Big Rick.
Looks to drive here. Fines Woodham's on the right wing,
top of the key. Woodham's tough drive. Tough take.
Over Gray. Oh, one of the
and one doesn't foul.
Like we said, there's no size on the floor
right now for Kentucky Wesley. And the Chargers
notice that and are attacking the rim. Yeah, I'm surprised
they don't have Jones Jr.
Matches up on Regisovich because the only
person who has the athleticism
to Mark Prozsovich is Jones Jr.
And nobody has the size.
Yeah, it's very interesting because I don't believe Hewick has many files.
He's had a tough time tonight.
Offensively and defensively is one of their leaders,
but they opt to not check them in.
Going to get two freebies for Wittem's.
First one's up and good.
65-60 now and a big run from the Chargers.
I remember second place in the conference, up for the grabs here.
Wettoms had two missed free throws earlier.
I think he's a little bit upset and taking a different approach here.
Second one after that made three from Wudham's as well.
up in pure four point game 65 61 8 to play chargers reel and now top of the key finds
mackettire driving tough take floater off balance from tolls is good 67 61
got an incredible make there i mean some good defense not upset about that shot but somehow
just falls in the basket chanowski guarded closely by miles screen from ridisovich driving
Janowski finds Ruder. He'll drive on Gray. Great pass. Rudisovich open layup. Good.
67, 63 now. Four-point game. 730 to play, and Tolls will take it up here.
An absolutely phenomenal finds. He'll wide open layup there.
Corner here, Gray working on Big Rick. Got the speeds advantage. He'll take it right to the cup, and it's good.
Ruder trying to block it, couldn't get there in time, and that's where they have the advantage.
Yeah, speed on Radisovich. But I think they'll look to help a little bit more.
Or just fish might sink back in.
Kind of allow the three-pointer, but get that big hand in his face.
Woodham's here driving.
Tough physical tag.
Woodams with a size advantage.
Good.
Blaskets trading here, 69, 65.
Chargers keeping that lead to a minimum.
Here we go.
Tolls on the right wing.
Trying to set up that offense at 20 on the shot clock.
Tolls kicks at Miles.
Open three ball.
Won't go.
Tipped around.
Ball is cleared by Gray.
Blocked by Big Rick.
And a foul.
Oh my goodness, two bodies on the ground for the Wildcats.
Can't give up an offense rebound due.
There, they do.
Big Rick looked like he blocked it, but they're going to call foul.
I don't think that the foul was actually on Big Rick.
I think that the big foul or the foul was off ball and it was not a shooting foul.
Gotcha.
That's going to take us to immediate timeout in this exciting matchup.

Here's stories from America's favorite pastime
on the old ball game with Tate Christensen,
here on Radio Free Hillsdale 101.1.107 FM.
Hello and welcome back.
You're listening to Radio Free Hillsdale, 101.7 FM,
Charger Basketball, 647 to play 69, 65.
Interesting call there, like you mentioned.
Fowl, looks like it's going to be on the ground,
not on the shot.
We will see what the call is once things get organized out of this timeout.
Coach Kevin Bradley loving that size advantage.
Yeah, I mean, Kentucky Wesleyan checked out all of their big man for these last couple drives,
trying to play a little bit of speedball.
And defensively, it's hurt the Charters a little bit.
They've played okay, but offensively, it's a lot of the Charters to be dominant in the paint.
Coach Kevin Bradley noticed Big Rick kind of got beat off the bounce there by Gray,
so he's going to move towards CJ Yerian a little bit more nimble,
a little bit more athletic.
We'll see what it is here.
It looks like it's going to be, it is going to be on the shot.
Wow, two shots for Gray here.
Definitely an interesting call.
It looked like Big Rick just kind of, he was fading away, Gray, and then blocked it,
but they got him on the arm.
One of the refs was definitely adamant about seeing it.
So two shots here from Gray, only one miss from the line from them,
and he's their best free throw shooter.
Yeah, and they are in the bonus tonight.
Shooting one and one after this one, of course, this one will be two.
First one's up in good, 70, 65.
your chargers keeping it close but can they find a way to edge this one out it's a close one here
let's see what gray's got second one from the line taking his time here crowd trying to get loud
kind of quiet here that one is up and good as well 71 65 to tuggie wesley and keeping that lead
like they have here for most of the second half six point basketball game you know some teams
would start to get worried but I believe the charges are very well coached and they'll be calm here in these
Six minute game with six minutes left.
Woodham's to the cup, open lane, spinning on gray.
Tough left hand to lay up again.
And Charles Woodams is taking over here.
71, 67 now.
I told you that that guy was going to get hot here in the second half.
Kind of quiet in the first half, at least scoring-wise.
And you knew that he was going to cut your middle of a comeback.
Gray driving.
Fines Gray, top of the key.
McCollum there.
Check that McIntyre.
No good.
Three ball.
Rebound Rooter.
He's looking to push it, swings it up to Woodham's feeling.
it right now.
Janowski working.
Driving here, finds bolty top of the key.
Find Shinowski looking for that mid-range.
Cantyrian.
Open three.
He's made two tonight.
Another one.
Oh, CJ Yerrian.
You better guard him.
71.70 now.
Three for three from deep.
What a shot in the charges cut the lead to one.
Yeah, the best part about that three-point is that he was shocked that he made it.
He makes it and he just drops.
Kennedy Miles.
Tough pull-up mid-range.
Good.
Needed it there.

101.7 FM Charger basketball.
5.38 to play.
Chargers will have it here on the inbound,
7370 after a big shot there
by one of their leaders, Kennedy Miles.
I mean, the good news is for the charges
is that the leading scorer and the leading
prominent player for Kentucky Wesleyans tonight,
Ringo Jr. still not on the floor because of his four fouls.
A lot of time left, and they probably won't put him in
until the very end of the game when they really need it.
Yeah, very interesting. They've been
slightly better on offense, but the defense,
The charges have got basket after basket. Charles Woodham's taking it to the cup.
See how it ends up here. Janowski bringing it back the other way.
Finds Yerian. Backdoor cut. Janowski drops it.
Had a look there. Couldn't corral it. Good pass by Yerian.
Out of bounds. Going to go towards the Wildcats.
73, 75, 30 to play, and we're getting down to that four minute mark.
Yeah, great pass right there. Very good possession.
But, I mean, you just have to, it's just worrisome that you missed that shot with only six minutes left.
Jones coming back the other way on Boltey.
Tough shot.
Blocked by Boltey.
Great defense there by Garrett Boltey there on Jones.
He's been a great guy in the mid-range.
Tries to take one of the cup.
Bullty blocks it off the backboard.
We've talked about his athleticism all day and right there.
Boutty able to jump with it.
Out of bounds.
It's going to be inbounds here for Kentucky Wesleyan.
They get it in to Gray working on Yerian.
Off the screen, they find tolls.
Back to Miles.
He's got an open three ball.
He's made big shots all night.
Can't get it.
Rebound Wottoms.
He's harassed.
and a foul there by Gray.
I mean, really just went over the top
and tried to hug around Woodham's.
I was surprised they didn't call the foul earlier.
Charles Woodham's to the line for the one-in-one here.
He has been the difference in this second half,
grabbing rebounds and using that physicality without a big man in.
Yeah, been a minute since we've said the name of Joe Ruter.
Look for him to try to get some defensive stops.
Maybe they'll switch him and play him on a different man,
trying to get him more involved defensively.
Yeah, they're really avoiding him, like you said,
whoever he's guarding is having a hard time.
Woodham's with a couple big shots here.
First one is up and no good.
Rebound goes to Yerry and he floats it up, won't go.
Gets his own rebound again.
Boltey clears it.
Corner, three ball.
Boltey for the tie, won't go.
Tipped out of bounds.
Off the Chargers.
Could have been a big shot there by Bolte.
He's upset with himself.
73 with five to play.
The nice thing is you're still only down three points
is we're going to get Cole McQuinney
check him back into the game for the Chargers.
You're only down three points.
One possession, five minutes,
left, a lot of time in this game, and there's no need to rush a comeback.
Five minutes, just getting under that Mark Miles driving here on McWinney.
Has to pass it back to Tolls.
Scanning here, he's got the advantage on Yerian.
He takes a deep three ball.
Won't go, ball is saved.
Stolen by Ruder.
Out of bounds.
Joe Ruter was headed back the other way.
Great defensive effort there.
Kentucky Wesleyan having to take some tough shots.
And like we just said there, we saw Ruder get him.
evolved on the defense like we thought they were going to.
They had a lot more switches there defensively and and Router, very active now.
For sure, tried to steal that one.
Head back the other way.
Had Yerian as well for the look.
446 to play.
Both teams looking for that second spot, as we've mentioned.
Sideline out of bounds for tolls here and the Wildcats rest discussing it.
Talking with coach Kevin Bradley.
I think a great argument there by Bradley is they actually listen to him.
You don't often see referees listen to coaches, but there he said, we never had possession.
We barely touched the ball and it went out of bounds.
Why did the shot clock reset and now it goes back down to 19 instead of the 30 seconds that they originally had?
Top of the key miles, guarded by McWinney, screen from Gray.
Yerian Hedges trying to find something here.
McIntyre swings into Jones working on, boltie, eight on the shot clock.
Looking for that midridge, can't find it.
McIntyre will take a step back three ball, deep one, Yerian can't control the rebound, tipped out of bounds.
It's been the difference here, charge.
have not been able to get the rebounds on these misses.
There's been few misses from Kentucky Wesleyan,
but you've got to be able to corral it when they do.
Hey, you do these extra possessions are really killing the chargers.
It doesn't matter how you shoot if you can keep getting the ball offensively.
Miles coming off the screen, 18 on the shot clock working on McWhin driving,
tough take, dishes it down to gray, gets Yerian to jump, and he filed him.
Yeah, I think that's going to be foul number four for C.J. Yerian.
Going to have to look to be careful the rest of this game.
But I think the coach is going to tell him, hey, if you foul out,
we've got other big man.
you and we love you out there but don't look to play soft defensively now especially for the
charges here they can go to a smaller lineup with based on what kentucky wesley is doing as well so
if they want to get more shooters involved they can boltie and yerry and the big guys in right now
421 to play and the best free throw shooter gray going to get two shots here they've been great
from the line only that one miss by wringo it's unbelievable the way they've been able to shoot at the charity
strut yeah that one is up and good
Crowd kind of silent. I mean a really, really large crowd, but not a very rowdy crowd here tonight.
Kind of dead here in Don Timbitt's Potter Arena is we only have four minutes and 21 seconds left.
Chargers down four and the free throws are going up and usually during free throws is when it's loud.
Yeah, not much crowd atmosphere, but a big bucket from the charges can change that as you see Ringo about to check in.
He's going to make his move.
Second shot from Gray is up and no good. Kind of a weird release.
74-74 to play. Chargers need to push here.
Dumps it down to Yer.
and he stays in for the Chargers.
Woodham's coming off the screen.
Woodham's looking to work on Gray.
Drives.
Tough take.
Finds McWinney in the corner.
He'll take the three ball.
Cole McWinney!
Oh my goodness.
74, 73 Chargers down one.
You having himself a night.
He's been a huge difference making for the Chargers here.
Ball's tip to draw by Router.
Here come the Chargers with a chance to take the lead.
McWinney surveys takes it back.
They'll set up their offense here.
Big Steele by Ruder, McCollum on the left wing.
Fines, Woodham's.
3 44 to play.
Router scanning.
Guarded closely by McIntyre.
Corner.
Woodhams.
He'll take the three rims out.
Big shot by Woodams won't go.
40 or sorry, 74, 73, 3.30 to play here.
We got an exciting one here in Don Tibbets and here comes the crowd.
Quentin Tolls swings it over Jones on the left wing, 15 on the shot clock.
Kennedy Miles back to Jones.
Here comes the screen.
Tightly guarded by McCallum Jones.
find anything. Shot clock dwindling. Tough shot. Tolls. We'll get it. A miracle three point
shot 77, 73 with three to play. Chargers back down four. Yep. You don't have a lot of possessions
left. You're definitely counting possessions, but still no need to rush here as you're only down four
points. Joe Ruder here finds McCallum on the right wing. Top of the key McWinney. Fines
Yerian. He'll take a heat check three won't go. Rebound cleared away there by Miles and he's made
three tonight but that one won't go yeah very very short shot almost fell in the hands of joe rudder
but just kind of unlucky bounces tough defense there by yerry and thought it was tipped off jones that's

Yeah, definitely need to get him to get that last foul.
Push the ball down the paint.
Get some big man touches with Yerian or Glazer or whoever is in.
Big Rick doesn't matter.
Try to get him out of the game.
He's been the difference maker and you can get him out of the game.
You've got a really, really good shot here.
Chargers have given up that lead in the second half,
and the Wildcats haven't looked back.
They've been leading for most of this second half.
241 to play, as we mentioned.
possessions will be counted.
We will see what the Chargers are cooking up here out of the timeout.
They need a couple stops.
They need the rebound, and they need to find a way to score.
Cole McWinney with a couple of big-time shots.
That last three was a huge one.
Yeah, I mean, cut the lead down to one, which it is four again.
Chargers got the steel, like we said off that, had a chance to take the lead,
couldn't convert it, it's back up to four.
Yeah, Tolls with a great step-back shot.
And then just unfortunate right here, almost had a steal by Yerian,
but fell off
or last touch by the Chargers.
Gray gets it in.
Back to Miles, guarded by McGuinney's screen from Gray.
Yerian looking to hedge won't.
Good defense, Gray.
And they got a foul there.
Yerian just trying to get in position on Gray.
He's going to go to the line here for the one-and-one.
And that'll be Yarian's last minute is that is foul number five for C.J.
Yerian, he's going to have to check out of the basketball game.
Unfortunate that he gets a foul on a play like that.
See who the Chargers check in.
Coach Kevin Bradley is going to use this first.
Isn't it a one-in-one?
Interesting here.
They're talking about it.
Each team's going to go to their bench because of the foulout.
I was going to say they're not sending anyone to the line and it's a one-on-one,
but they use that foulout as kind of a timeout.
How many timeout is they're already bringing him back on?
I think the reps were confused by Yerian was walking off, calling him back,
and they looked up and realized, oh, he's got five fouls.
Yeah, he was right.
He had to go out of the game.
Big Rick's going to be the choice.
here he'll check in and wringo is still on the bench he was checked in there for a minute but they
not using him gray's first one's up and no good rare miss from him rebound clear by rudder and that's

Top of the key here to Miles.
In the mid-range Jones working on.
Big Rick driving, Gray, up to down, tipped up, stolen by McCallum.
77-75.
Chargers down two with the basketball, McCollum, left wing.
You can't screen and roll out of his zone.
It's exactly what the Chargers.

The second half is just dwindle of the way.
Chargers never able to take a lead.
Had a chance there from a Mikey McCollum 3.
Didn't go.
Kentucky Wesleyan was using the timeout.
They're going to get a sideline out of bounds and a chance to set up that offense.
You're probably going to set up a different offense here.
Chargers have come out in his own defense.
The last two possessions had one steel and one great team.
defensive stop on a rebound on a forced shot.
And so here you're going to set up a different offense.
You're going to say, hey, let's get the passes down.
Let's get three guys in the middle and spread them out a little bit and try to get that ball
moving.
Yeah, you have to assume if you're Kentucky Wesleyan's coach, you are calling two plays.
One if they're in zone, one if they're in man, have them ready.
And interesting to see Ringo still not checking in.
No.
I mean, he was a fantastic all night and he's just not going to go.
They liked their offense with a small ball.
Chargers are going to keep Big Rick in where they have the advantage.
It's a really, really interesting choice against the zone, not to have any kind of big presence in the middle, but a choice nonetheless.
Chargers is going to stick in man here, trying to switch things up constantly.
77, 75, sideline out of bounds.
Tolls gets it into Miles guarded by McWenney.
50 seconds to go in this ball game.
15 on the shot clock.
Miles, screen from Gray, Surveang, kicks it to the corner.
Big shot, Tolls will go.
Might be the dagger here.

I have a charger basketball, 80 to 75, with 41 seconds to play.
Chargers are going to get a sideline out of bounds.
A big shot from Tolls, him and Miles have hit those all night.
Yeah, I mean, if you're the Chargers here, you have to either foul or steal defensive possessions,
which means you can't let them inbound because they have enough time to run out the shot clock
and win this game without making another shot.
This is one the Chargers need to win after dropping three in a row.
80 to 75.
They do have the ball here.
They get a bucket quick enough.
Shot clock.
You don't have to foul.
You just have to play good defense.
And the story of this game has been the free throws.
Might come back to haunt the Chargers the way the Wildcats have been shooting.
They will have a great opportunity if they get fouled to make some.
Chargers are definitely going to press here.
And even Kentucky Wesley now looking to press.
Tucky Wesleyan now looking to press.
Here comes McWinney back the other way for the Chargers.
Swings it to Rooder on the right wing.
Looking for that post touch.
Finds Woodham's top the key.
Ducks it down low.
Big Rick.
gets him to jump and one
Eric Radissovich
the bucket and the foul
80 to 77 now
with 31 seconds to play
Chargers needed that
yeah that's a big change
if he makes his free throw it'll be a
two point game now the only thing here
is that you need to foul now because there's only
31 seconds took really long time in that
possession and you need to foul
otherwise you're going to run out of time
big shot here in the balance
up and good
great touch from the big fella
lot. They're going to check in Garrett Bulte, a defensive specialist for the Chargers and the press is on.
You don't want to file gray. He has missed a couple for them, but he's a great free throw shooter
like most of these wildcats are. Tough inbound goes to Gray. He's trapped in the corner.
Defense is tough here. Now they have to file. They get it ahead. Wide open man. Doesn't step out of bounds
and they're going to file Jones here with 22 seconds. Deep pass there. Looked like he stepped out of
bounds. Doesn't. Jones is going to get a chance here for the one-on-one. Yeah, really close there.
smart by the Chargers not to follow right away to see if they were going to give it up and they almost did
but fortunate there that he stayed in bounds and fight a wide-up in Jones. I've saved the possession and draw these two fouls or draw these one-and-one free throw.
Huge shot here from Jones with 22 seconds to play. See if he can get the front end of the bonus here if he doesn't.
Only a two-point game. Chargers only down 80 to 78 here 22 seconds. It's getting tight. It gets loud here on the shot. First one's up rattling around. Won't go.
Ruter with the rebound. Chargers taking their time, 17 seconds.
McWenny here. Last possession here. Call the timeout for Kevin Bradley.
What a play there by Router to get the rebound.

Hello and welcome back.
You're listening to Ready for Heelsdale 101.7 FM Charger basketball.
Chargers have the ball down to 14 seconds.
Can't pay a better picture.
Now you can.
I think they're actually going to go for overtime tonight.
You know, you could have that three-pointer and try to go for the lead.
But I think the way to charge them are playing
and they've been dominating both ways this last couple minutes.
I think they're going to play for OT because I think they have the upper hand in overtime.
Yeah, they've been on a great little run here, getting a huge miss there by Jones and the rebound.
Chargers will have the ball, and Ringo appears to be checking back in for the Wildcats.
Because if he falls out here, it doesn't really matter unless it goes to overtime.
But you need that big presence on defense, otherwise the Chargers will get to the top.
Here we go.
This is going to be an exciting finish no matter what.
Chargers have the sideline inbound.
And this is it right here. This is the best play in your playbook.
This is for second place in the conference, a lot on this, trying to cut the losing streak,
which is huge momentum, is huge in basketball, and trying to beat one of the best teams in the conference at the same time.
This is everything you got.
McWinney will have the honors on the sideline in bounds.
McWinney's scanning.
Can't find anybody. He gets it into Router in the corner.
13 on the shot clock.
Screen here from Big Rick.
He's got the size advantage.
Nine on the shot clock.
Ruter working on Ringo.
Kicks it out.
Big wreck, pump fake, dump down, Router takes it.
We'll go! Joe Ruder!
Oh my goodness, what a layup.
80 to 80 with two seconds to play.
This place erupts.
You're listening to Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM.
A quick timeout.
I'm Gordy.
And I'm Evan.
We bring it back here.
You're listening to Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM, Charger Basketball.
It was always Joe Ruter, the senior.
always Joe Ruter.
And I thought for a second that Redisvitz was going to shoot that.
And for some reason, so did Kentucky Wesleyan.
The guy jumped with the three-pointer.
I can't believe it.
Ten seconds left.
You were never going to shoot that three-pointer, but he pumped it.
He got him to jump and found Joe Ruder and Joder with a phenomenal finish.
Haven't said that name in a while, but you always knew that ball was going to end up in his hands
when the game was on the line.
It felt like it was on the rim for an hour.
And then this place erupts when it drops.
Unbelievable patience.
Like you said by Big Rick,
Humphake in the corner, defender jumps, and then he drives.
Defense collapse looks like he might have taken the layup,
decides to dish it down to Joe Ruter for a great take.
And every one of his layups has been with his left hand.
He's a right-handed player, but great versatility.
Tuggy Wesley and drawn up their best play with two seconds,
hoping to have heartbreak here at Don Tibbitts-Potterina for the Charger Faithful.
And if you're Hillsdale, number one, don't foul.
Don't give them opportunities to get an easy basket.
And number two, stay behind them.
You have to stay in between them in the basket because even if this is going to be,
if you get a half court shot up, make the half court shot hard.
They get a wide open half court shot.
That's when you begin to have problems.
2.4 is the official timing.
It's going to be a baseline out of bounds.
They're going to put the big Rick on the ball, make it hard for a shot here.
Defense getting arranged for the Chargers.
What a game we have for second place.
Couldn't draw it up any better.
Inbound goes to Gray.
Back to Tolls.
He'll take it.
Half Court Heave won't go.
Sigh of relief here at Don Tibbitts,
and we're headed to some free basketball.

Overtime game where you thought the game was lost.
And it charges able to fight back and they seem to have this upper hand going into overtime.
Yeah, they have the possession arrow, so they will start with it at 80 to 80.
An absolute thriller for second place.
You want a game like this, you get it at home for the Charger faithful.
And like Evan had mentioned, Chargers have momentum.
If you're Kentucky Wesleyan, you did not want overtime here
because it's five more minutes of basketball where the Chargers are playing their best.
Yeah.
The only unfortunate thing for the Chargers is that Center CJ Yerian has fouled out,
but you still do have Big Rick, Big 6-9 Center,
who is the regular starter in the game.
Yeah, and Ringo, like we mentioned,
the only reason the files would come to play
is if we went overtime,
and they played most of that second half without him,
and if he gets one here,
they're going to have to go back to Smallball,
which is weird.
Fatih Eweik, I don't know if he is maybe injured potentially
or what they have elected not to go with him.
Yeah, we haven't seen him in a very, very long time.
Kind of killed confusion there,
no really reason for it, no logic,
is we're going to go to a jump ball
between Big Rick and Ringo.
Here we go.
Basketball is underway. Tip goes back to Tolls. Wildcats have it first five minutes of free basketball.
Guarded by Woodhams, swings it over. Corner three ball. Jones will take it off the rip and get it.
Big shot there by Jones who missed that pivotal free throw.
8380 now and overtime, 440 to play.
Joe Ruter on the right wing, finds Woodham's top of the key, swings it to McWinney left wing.
Screen by Big Rick again. McWittany patient finds Woodham's open wing three ball.
In and out. Rebound cleared by Ringo.
Yeah, really unfortunate to start here for the Charters.
Already down three with only four minutes left to go in this overtime period.
McIntyre on the wing working on McCollum driving.
Tough take.
Good defense by McCollum.
Gets his hand up.
Tipped around, won't go.
Ball secured by Ruder.
Back the other way with numbers.
Router looking to drive on Jones.
Euro step.
Floater won't go.
Rebound Big Rick.
Up and won't go again.
Tipped out.
Ball is loose and it's off the Wildcats.
What a series on events there.
Chargers had some great looks at a basket.
Couldn't get the fall here.
They're going to get the baseline out of bounds.
Yeah, 17 seconds left here on the shot clock.
For the chargers to get the good look, a lot of times still.
No pressure, no harm, no foul.
Able to stop there.
Kentucky Wesleyan on the defensive end, which hasn't happened to a lot.
Been a high-scoring game today.
In bounds goes to Big Rick, top of the key, finds Woodham's on the dribble handoff.
18 on the shot clock, top of the key, Rooter.
Fines McGuini on the left wing.
Here comes the screen from Big Rick.
Looking to dish it down to him, swings it top of the key, corner,
Big Rick will take a big three.
Off the rim won't go cleared away by Tolls.
I wouldn't be surprised here if in this overtime period, Coach Kevin Bradley
opts to go back into that zone, but right now they're in that man defense.
Tolls here on the right wing, 8380. Chargers still down three after Jones's three-pointer to kick off.
Step back three Tolls, tough one.
Oh my.
What a shot there by Tolls, 86, 80 now.
Back the other way, here comes McCollum for the Chargers.
He drives, finds Big Rick.
Timeout Chargers.
What a shot by Tolls. He's made them all game.
That's going to take us through a timeout.

All right, then.
Let's hit the road.
Hello, and welcome back.
You're listening to Ridic Creelzo, 101.7 FM Charger basketball, 8680 with 329 in this overtime period.
And a couple of big threes take the life out of this arena.
Yeah, I mean, that second one, in hand in his face by Charles Woodham's, knocked down three by tolls.
He's been hitting those all game when they've mattered and just been a dominant player at that three ball.
Chargers have been here before, though.
They were down most of that second half.
You hate to see the overtime start like this for them, but I tell you what, they have an opportunity to keep fighting, keep getting this game back to where it needs to be for them.
And they're sticking with their same line of Pullman, when he playing significant minutes, and Ringo still not falling out for the wildcats.
Yeah, I think that you're going to look to have to get a three-pointer here.
I mean, you're down six, so then you have to have either two three-pointers, but three-toes, and I think that, you know, Kentucky Wesleyan's going to score again.
You're probably looking to get a three-pointer here if you can at all.
Yeah, it looked bleak for the Chargers in that second half, though, and they were able to make something happen.
And it started with that and one from Big Rick.
He doesn't have the size advantage anymore with Ringo in, who is smaller, but he's a much better post-defendant than anyone else they have.
Chargers taking their time in this timeout. Coach Kevin Bradley, trying to fire up the guys as they need a basket here.
They do have the ball.
324 to play, and I'm excited the way this one's going to finish it.
It's been a heck of a game.
A six-point game here.
Two possessions.
Probably three possessions still take it slow.
You've got to count your possessions here, how many you got left,
but you have to take them slow.
There's no rush yet.
It's been tough for the Chargers, just dagger three-pointers from Kentucky Wesley,
and when they need it most to expand that lead,
Chargers haven't hit many big shots.
You have to expect it's going to be Woodham's and Router here, the leaders.
Woodham's with the inbound, gets it in McWinney.
He's at the top of the key guarded closely,
swings it over, Router, in the corner to Woodham's.
finds Ruter top of the key he's driving on Jones kickout what a move by Wudham's top pull up mid range good big shot there by Wudams and the press is on for the Chargers as it's 86 82 now three to play yeah nice little two point shot there one of those ones where he had to have it if it's wide open only if it's wide open it was wide open there because Wittam's made his guy fall miles on the left wing working on like when he gets the screen from Ringo ducks it down wide open Ringo tough take oh fouled by Ruter
Look like it wasn't tough shot by Ringo and he's going to get two at the line.
Yeah, I don't think he was making that shot anyways.
I think the only chance that he had to get in any points here was getting that foul.
Luckily for the Chargers, only the second foul on Router.
One of the leaders hit that huge game tying layup.
251 to play and some untimed basketball now at the line for Ringo.
Yeah, that's really good news for the Chargers.
Garrett Boultsy going to check back in here for the Chargers.
I'm going to guess for Big Rick because they're probably going to want to press here.
Only three minutes left to play.
Ringo's first shot up and no.
No good. Kentucky Wesleyan has struggled from the line in the second half after being perfect in the first half.
Boltey actually going to check in for McCollum.
So it looks like they're taking out the big three-point shooters.
McCollum and Beeston both on the bench.
Trying to play some underneath ball, some smart basketball.
Find some low baskets and get two points.
Ringo knocks home the second one, 8782 now.
Five-point game.
Chargers down with two 50 to play in this overtime thriller.
McGuinney working on Miles here.
Screen from Big Rick.
Top of the key, trying to find something here, tight defense, finds Router.
He's guarded by Tolls driving.
Can't find anything left wing.
He'll just take a three ball, Router.
First one of the night.
Oh, my goodness, Joe Ruter.
Welcome to Don Timmitt, it's 87-85, Router with a stepback tray ball.
Yep, haven't seen that one all day out of Router.
Router usually gets a couple three-pointers up, makes one or two.
But first one here tonight of the even attempt, and it's good.
Toll is driving to the middle, backdoor cut, stolen away by Malti.
Huge play on defense by the charge.
Chargers 87-85.
Woodham secures it and he'll take his time here.
Chargers coming back here.
McWinney in the corner screen from Big Rick.
He drives, takes it out to Router.
Ruder on the right wing, 18 on the shot clock two to play.
Step back, another step back three for Router.
Oh my goodness.
Joe Ruter, welcome 88, 87 of the Chargers have the lead.
Oh, my!
Yeah, quiet second half there for Ruder, both offensively and defensively
as you hear this crowd erupt because in overtime,
He's hit two threes and he hit the basket to get here.
Minute 30 to play.
Tough pull up mid-range.
Good.
What a response there by Miles.
89, 88 now.
Chargers back down one.
McWenny here, minute 30 to play.
Setting up the offense.
Screen from Big Rick, driving, finds Router.
He's staying aggressive and he's filed.
Joe Ruter's going to go to the line for the one-and-one.
And he has that takeover mentality right now.
Yes, he is.
He is in the zone.
Ben hot for the last 30 seconds.
Gotta calm down though here and make both of these free throws very vital.
I mean, you have to make at least one to get the tie here.
He does get two as it is the double bonus that carries over from that fourth quarter.
Here a pin drop here.
It's on Tibbitts.
Joe Router's first one is up and no good.
Hate to see that, but that's going to be the last one.
Oh, no, I thought it was a foul there on Ringo,
but they're just going to sub them out here with a minute 20 to play.
Big shot.
here for Router to tie it once again. Kentucky Buzzley and back in that small ball kind of a
confusing choice to me as they were doing better with the big man on the floor.
Reuter's second one is pure. Everyone on their feet here as Jones is going to take it up the band
is playing a minute 15 to play all knotted up at 89. The football team finally getting into this
game tied up with only a minute left and you can hear it loud down in here in dawn tibbitts.
McIntyre swings it to tolls working on woodhams. McIntyre pumps. He'll take the
Reset three ball, won't go.
Rebound, Wudham's, and he's fouled.
Oh, my goodness, Woodham's looked like he was going to touch the ceiling on that rebound,
and he's going to get a shot at the line for two to take the lead.
And that's two fouls right there, or four fouls right there on Kennedy Miles,
which means one more, and he's out of the game, meaning that if by some reason,
some miracle, we go into another overtime, he's in trouble.
Yeah, he's one of their all-star players.
Him and Tolst have played this whole game at point guard.
They don't have a reserve, and that's huge.
Woodham's here with two big shots with a minute left.
First one, up and good.
Calm, cool, collected, 90 to 89, a high-scoring affair.
Woodham's with a chance to make it a two-point game here.
Taking his time here, calm, cool, collected.
It's up and no good.
Rebound, cleared away by Tolls.
57 seconds to play.
That's right, you're in the lead.
Calm, cool, collected, got to play defense here.
very important possession miles driving on McWinney it's loud here miles working on
McWinnie can't find anything grail drive on Big Rick tough take blocked off the backboard by
big Rick sent back what a play 38 seconds to go Chargers up one yep a two point basket here makes
it a three point game forcing them to shoot a three for a last second tie I think that's what
they're going to look for here McWinney guarded closely by Miles who's got four back up top here
to McWinney 13 on the shot clock taking his time 22 seconds in the game big Rick
guarded by Gray. Woodham's coming off the screen. We're going to drive.
Work at his man. Gray, kickout. McWinney, three ball.
Oh, Hawley. McCwitty.
Are you kidding me? The senior from Ohio.
Oh, McWittin.
93-89, and we have a timeout on the floor.

Chargers up by four.
Cole McQuinney.
Game of his life.
Phenomenal game here.
I believe he is like 13 points,
but he's hit him when they mattered.
And right there, fade away three-pointer.
They put the ball in the hands of the guy who's hot,
a guy who comes off the bench usually,
play some decent minutes, but not a starter for the chargers,
and they put the ball in his hands.
Complete trust and complete faith in Cole McQuinnney.
In bows to miles, nine seconds to go.
They need a shot McIntyre scanning.
Can't find anything.
Good defense by Bolte.
He'll take a three.
Won't go.
