Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to Objectively Correct. Probably. Where your host, Olivia Henson. And Chauvin Weed, and this is our silly show where we take five minutes to rank our top five of a random category. So join us as we share our hot takes on things that don't really matter because it's fun to have opinions. Let's list. What's up, guys? Today we're going to be ranking the top five Disney princesses.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Homecoming Week is here at Hillsdale College. And the theme, according to our SAB overlords, is it's Disney. Disney. And Disney has provided us with so many official. Disney princesses that we have to kind of like, you know, tip our fedora to. But also we need to like recognize some unofficial Disney princesses that we want to just kind of propose to join the cinematic like court of Disney princesses. So in number five, we have the only one who's actually in the official princesses for Disney.
Starting point is 00:00:55 And it's Rapunzel. And the thing about her that I love is that she undertakes like an absolute Odysian level like quest to just to see something that like conceivably, I feel like how did that not the like light situation, not just look like fireflies in the distance? But she like saw it and was so, is so whimsical and also so bored that she decided to like escape
Starting point is 00:01:17 and go through this whole saga just to see the lights. Well, she's charted stars, so she knows. She's a whimsical bored queen, you know? The queen of many hobbies. So many hobbies. I like, yeah, I need to take some inspiration, honestly. And she's a rehabilitation diva. No, she's like the OG like
Starting point is 00:01:34 Daddy, I can change him. Daddy, I can fix him. Yeah, because guess what she did? She did. Takes a convict, turns him into probably the quintessential Disney Prince technically. Everybody loves him. He's the best. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:45 So, I do. Huge, big into him. Next up at number four, we have the Queen of Hearts from Allison Wonderland. Massive head. Huge head. First big point in her favor. Yeah, she just has, what a, she looks like a bobblehead, actually. Like a funco pop.
Starting point is 00:01:59 Yeah, no, actually. I just think my big thing with her is that she runs her kids. kingdom, like entirely off of, like, her immediate whim and vibe at the moment. And everything she proclaims is really for personal entertainment, which is honestly how I would probably run my kingdom. Yeah, that's kind of exactly our thought. Yeah. It's, if we were royalty, it would be, we'd probably be her.
Starting point is 00:02:19 So maybe we're biased. Yeah. Say that if you want. Whatever. And in number three. We have Sophia the first. And now, I mean, the thing about her is that, like, she was just like a girl in the village doing all right.
Starting point is 00:02:31 But then, you know, all of a sudden she became a princess. overnight. Overnight. And then like, and she's just got to figure out how to do it right, you know? But there's so much to learn and see. So much.
Starting point is 00:02:41 And like she's up in the castle with her new family. Which is pretty intimidating already. But then she's in a school that's just for royalty, which talk about isolation. And there's an entire enchanted world that's waiting for her. And so she's just so excited to be Sophia the first.
Starting point is 00:02:58 Anyway, in number two, we have Mia Thermopolis from the Princess Diaries. And she is like, Like, I just think that she's the original I'm not like other girls because she genuinely is not like other girls. And then she becomes even less like other girls when she becomes the princess of some non-existent fringe European country. She's so relatable. No, exactly. Me too, dude.
Starting point is 00:03:20 Yeah, dude. Class happens to the best of us. She also has the best makeover. I think the makeover montage of all time. Maybe the most iconic makeover montage of all time. Like everyone knows, I can take this. in this and give you a princess. It's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:03:37 At number one, guys, at number one, we have the Aristotacats geese, Abigail, and Amelia Gabble. And I just feel like they're kind of, they are us. And we love us. We at number one, basically our favorite subject, us. We said, wow, these geese are just like us. Number one. They just like, they laugh at, they make jokes that only each other laugh at.
Starting point is 00:04:00 They are girls, girls. Like, they're really wing-womening it up for that one. cat, like the white cat that is like the main character, Duchess. And yeah, they're just like nosy girls girls. And we, that's accompanied by a really strange, but really entertaining man that I understand why they keep him around. Like Uncle Waldo, hello. I love it. Diva himself. No, they actually, I mean, they just pulled together a legendary squad. It's so true. So like you just know they're always having a good time. Even though they had probably a collective two minutes of screen time, I think, I feel like whenever I've watched that, like you leave off
Starting point is 00:04:31 the movie, the movie ends and you're like, gosh, dang it. Amelia. and Abigail. Icons. Let's do a quick recap. In number five, we have Rapunzel. In number four, we have the Queen of Hearts. In number three, Sophia the first. The very first.
Starting point is 00:04:42 At number three, ironically. And number two is Mia Thermopolis. And in number one, the Aristotcats geese. Abigail and Amelia Gabel. And you know what, guys, we're not saying we're totally right, but we are objectively correct. Probably. On Radio Free Hillsdale, 101.7. Bye.
