Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to Objectively Correct. Probably. We're your host, Olivia Henson. And Chauvin Weed. And this is our silly show where we take five our top five of a random category. So join us as we share our hot takes on things that don't really matter because it's fun to have opinions.
Starting point is 00:00:15 Let's list. Hey guys. Today we're going to be talking about the foods that have the Taco Bell effect, which is basically foods that are only good after midnight and not any time before. So at number five, we have gram crackers. And here's the thing is it's just like, it's one of those things where it's like, who even thinks about Graham? No one knows that they exist until you like want to make us a more. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:00:37 That's the only, it's just a snack of utility for the purpose of making a some more. Or something that I ate when I was like two months old. Yeah, two months old. My mom gave it to me to like just chew on. And it's like, again. Yeah. But it's like a low effort for 10 minutes. Two in the morning.
Starting point is 00:00:50 It's just missing two thirds of the smore part. But you know. Which like, I'm no mathematic. But that's like, that's like really, that's not that bad. Two thirds. I'm no mathematic. Apparently I'm not in English major either. Nope.
Starting point is 00:01:01 And in number four, we have Dutch Uncle donuts, which if you don't know what that is, it's something about like, I don't know, 30 minutes away in Coldwater, Michigan. It's in Coldwater, Michigan. And here's the thing is going there is an experience from start to finish. First of all, looks scary. You walk in and hold on, it's hours are super jank. It's open until like five in the morning. Why?
Starting point is 00:01:20 Usually donuts shops will open at five in the morning. No, that's when it like closes. But it is perfect for college students. That's why it's such like, it's a canon event for students to go there. It's one of mine is Chubon's favorite Thursday soft launches. Uh-huh, which, one of top five movements, by the way. Anyway. So you walk in and it's like kind of scary lighting, the lights are twitching a little bit.
Starting point is 00:01:40 You walk in, there's no one in sight. Like, and then all of a sudden this like older man walks out of the back looks exactly like Mr. Miyagi. It actually could actually be him. I don't know. I haven't like checked. I think he that. I've never seen him in the same room.
Starting point is 00:01:52 That's what I am saying. So really, it probably is Mr. Miyagi. Mr. Miyagi's donut shop. But here's the thing is that they bake this. donuts or I don't know they fry them or whatever at like genuinely starting at like two in the morning so when you go at like the ungodly hours of like three or four they're like the most beautiful delicious donuts you're so fresh yeah um they are cash only and the place itself is kind of sketched the donuts aren't like incredible but it's such a fun experience especially at like
Starting point is 00:02:17 two or three in the morning exactly when me and shavon go and we're listening to stir fry the the whole way there exactly in number three we have dry cereal guys it's cereal without the effort. Yeah, milk. Like, you have to get an utensil. But who cares? Like, you just get to use your God-given utensils for dry cereal, which is quite nice. A little crunch to keep you awake for some late-night
Starting point is 00:02:39 studying. Exactly. I can have 100 boxes of cereal in my pantry. You don't know. Every single one of them goes crazy. And you can quickly carboload at 2 a.m. In number two, we have raw chocolate chips, which, you know what, guys? Listen, when it's late, I'm resorting to just ingredients. Especially when you're
Starting point is 00:02:57 you've been on like a kick and you're like, okay, I got to tighten up my act a little bit. I'm not going to, earlier in the day, like, you're smarter, like, more reasonable self was like, you know what I'm not going to buy a bunch of snacks to have laying around so that when I'm like hungry at one in the morning, but guess what? You still have that urge at two in the morning. So guess what you're going to go to? I don't know. Maybe now I'm looking at like a bag of raw oats being like, I wonder what that tastes like. Can I just down that like granola? Does it taste like sawdust? Probably. But all of a sudden you get really curious and desperate. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, and if I have a box of chocolate chips, come on now.
Starting point is 00:03:28 A baggy of chocolate chips, dude. Yeah. I'm going straight for that. A little sweet treat. In the economy of only ingredients being left in your pantry, really, it's a delicacy. And then number one, the classic, the gold medalist, the cold pizza. It's cold pizza. Guys.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Hate it or love it. You've done it. Don't lie to me. What are you going to do? Just, oh, oh, let me, beep, beep, beep, my microwave, let me warm it up. No, that's, no, absolutely not. You just, you just straight to the face, cold pizza. Straight to the face.
Starting point is 00:03:54 I mean, it's two in the morning. Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't my little zip block. And, dude, I'm eating cold pizza at two in the morning every single time. And it's like, I think about it. I finish whatever pizza I'm going to eat and whatever my leftovers, I look at them and I'm like, thank God this is going to be cold 12 hours from now. Some people plan their like meal prep and plan their regular day-to-day meals.
Starting point is 00:04:19 Olivia meal preps her three in the morning snacks and their cold pizza every time. It's only until pizza. Well, guys, let's do a quick recap. In number five, we have graham crackers. And number four, we have Dutch uncles. It's just an experience. Number three is dry cereal. Number two is raw chocolate chips.
Starting point is 00:04:35 And number one, my favorite cold pizza. Guys, we're not saying we're totally right, but we are objectively correct. Probably. On Radio Free Hillsdale, 101.1.7 FM. See you guys. Bye.
