Welcome to objectively correct.
Probably.
Where your host is Olivia Henson and Chauvonne Weed.
And this is our silly show where we take five minutes to rank our top five of a random category.
So join us as we share our hot takes on things that don't really matter because it's fun to have opinions.
Let's list.
What's up guys?
Today we're going to be ranking the top five.
Possible homecoming themes.
We're just trying to like lean into some forethought, help out SAB as they're kind of discerning the next step of like homecoming for 2027.
Yeah, I mean this is our actual.
We decided to do our own senior class gift.
It's to leave the future generations and future classes of Hillsdale College, better
homecoming.
Yes, exactly.
So at number five, we have the Wild West.
And I know what you're thinking.
How is it only number five?
We'll just wait till you see other bangers we have.
Boy, what have we cooked up.
Look out.
But I mean, you could do that Will Smith song, Wild Wild West.
You could also do just that quintessential, like, meme song of like,
Woo, woo, woo, ooh, ooh.
It's not a meme song.
Yeah, I know.
It's one of the most classic West.
I'm actually.
It's the good, the bad, and the ugly.
It totally is.
I'm an idiot.
But anyway.
The Bonanza theme song?
All the homecoming videos could be recorded on Sandy.
At Meyer, which is because she plays the Bonanza theme song.
I mean, she is the quintessential, like, representative of the Wild West, for sure.
Everyone could be a lone ranger and do a duel.
I mean, John Wayne, his face could be thrown out there somewhere, you know.
Galloway could build a horse.
No, Galloway could build a fully functioning, like, saloon town that they all bring out.
I see so many possibilities for this.
So that's why Wild West is on here.
That is on there.
In number four, we have medieval times.
Medieval times.
So guys, the thing about this, honestly, the big, like, cornerstone of the reason that I want
this to happen is because Dr. Yost would, again, have to make an appearance.
Because he made an appearance last year for, with the men of Sig Kai.
And they would have no choice.
Like, everyone would probably be vying to get him to come out in, like, his full, because
he is, in fact, the faculty advisor of our real, like, life.
medieval fighting club that we have on campus.
So they would, I mean, that'd be great for their PR.
Like, there's just so many positives.
So good.
Yeah.
So yeah, we could have like knights jousting.
Once again, Galloway.
Build two horses.
Have them joused.
Have them jowls.
Exactly.
Maybe that's this thing.
It's just what we want Galloway to do.
That's actually what this is all based off of it.
Yeah, a little bit.
But it's okay.
You know what?
You found our true intentions.
Take us to jail.
In number three, we have K-pop demon hunters.
And like, we know if you were around last year, like, there was a lot of K-pop demon
Hunter's songs incorporated into mock rock but here's the thing like it first of all was not the entire
discography we can we can go deeper and like that was just like a great taste of coming attractions because
I think everyone would say those parts of last year's mock rock were like the best parts they were the
funniest everyone dancing with the exact choreography from k-pop demon hunters like oh my gosh it was
just incredible full of memes yeah so let's run that back let's bring it back yeah number two we have
national geographic national geographic because see originally I we were thinking to pitch
shark week as a homecoming theme but we realize there's so much more yeah the cinematic universe
of just animals national geographic we have fat bear week yeah which is a thing I just like snakes
yeah um that would be fun killer whales should be like you know how like birds dance as like a mating
ritual yes I think that could be my wrong at least that's how ATO is going to take it for sure
wait this is so good shirtless bird dance which is like already like a good description
of their humiliation ritual.
So like, but yeah, there's just so many ways you go.
I mean, really any animal under the sun, that's fair game.
Like any, you could just go any which way.
Polar bears, I think should make an appearance.
Basically a big Hillsdale Zoo, which I'm a big fan.
Which like it's already, again, it's just an analogy for life.
So I think we run that for sure.
And then finally in number one, we have the Hillsdale County Fair slash like a circus vibe.
Yeah, yeah.
And like, I mean, what a better nod to like the Western heritage of Hillsdale County
then the most popular fair on earth.
Make this the new theme of this episode.
Galloway could make like the, like the fireball ride.
And they, out of human bodies.
Like, are you kidding me?
They're swinging a couple kids.
A couple freshmen on the edges.
They bring in an entire petting zoo.
Or just like Simpson recreates demolition derby.
And then we bring back the horses.
It all comes back to horses.
That we really just desperately want to make an appearance at homecoming.
National Geographic Horse Week.
Anyway, let's do a quick recap.
Number five is Wild West.
Number four is medieval times.
Number three is K-pop demon hunters.
Bring it back.
Number two is National Geographic.
Guys, think about Shark Week.
And number one is Hillsdale County Fair slash Circus.
Let's make it happen.
We're not saying we're totally right, but we are objectively correct.
Probably.
