Hello, we are here at the Charter's basketball game against O'DU on this beautiful Saturday morning at 1 p.m. That's right. I'm Maurek Leeson. And I'm Chris and Isley. And we're covering the Charter Women's Basketball game. It's the first conference game of the season against Ohio, Dominican University. Chargers come into this game three and four before the conference play. And Carissa, do you want to fill us in on that starting lineup? Yeah, so our starting lineup today, we have number three, Lauren McDonald, who's a junior from Chicago, Illinois. And then we have Sydney Mills, who's a fifth year senior. She's a forward for our team.

We have Kendall McCormick from Hinkley, O. Catelyne from Powell, Ohio, and Ashley Conkel from Aurora, Illinois. That's right. And Sydney Mills is coming off of a pretty big couple of weeks here for his sale. She was GMAC player of the week just two weeks ago, thanks for her performance in the game against Quincy. And she broke 1,000 rebounds for her career. On the court right now is Sydney Mills and head coach Brianna Brennan's. is being honored for her 1,000 rebounds milestone. She's the fifth year senior from Michigan.

She broke 1,000 career points last year and has added to that this year. All right, just a few minutes here to tip off. So a little bit about the teams. The Ohio Dominican Panthers are looking for a big breakthrough today in 2020. In this year, after returning several players from a young squad that struggled last season, but showed promise at points. Whereas Hillsdale enters GMAC play with a 3-4 record after a non-conference slate, filled with both ups and downs, but some encouraging signs as well.

despite dealing with serious injury trouble, the Chargers racked up three wins and are playing solid defensively, holding opponents to just 63.1 points per game. That's great. We've got the national anthem on the court right now. I think we're going to go to a break and come back for tip-off.

Sidney Mills. The Chargers this year, are forced to replace three starters from last year. But it looks like we have a strong core returning from the team that played a deep bench last season. That's right. So the only returning starter from last year is, Sydney. Sidney Mills coming back for her fifth year with the chargers.

Although some other players have stepped up, Laura McDonald is taking over from Grace Touche, as point guard and doing really well so far. So that's Laura McDonald's number three, starting as point guard for the Chargers. Number five, Sydney Mills, a fifth year senior forward starting for the Chargers. Here comes Junior. Kindle McCormick. And Caitlin Sle-Splain, Jr., starting as the guard, played a lot last year. It's her first year. It's her first here in the starting lineup. And now number 31, senior Ashley Conkel,

starting as center for the Chargers. And that's your starting lineup for the Chargers. Just a few moments here until tip off. Here we go. We're gonna take a short break here. Oh, just kidding. Here we go. Here comes the tip off.

We have number five Sydney Mills going for the tip. And ODIU will start with the balls. Just got it on the floor and jump ball. All right, that's charger basketball. Caitlin will throw in from outside. There we go. All right, number three, Lauren McDonald passes off to Splean. Splain will bring it up the court. Swings out to Lord McDonald's. MacDonald's caught

off on the right. Oh, throw in, Sydney Mills. Just going to go for the layup, and it's good. That's two points for the Chargers, starting up. The Sanjay Hill with the ball back. She's going to bring it around. That's some passing off going on. And swing her out to the left. Number three. Oh, and it's a steal from McDonald. All the way back down. She's going to go for the layup. Swing out.

Ashley Conkull, returning to the bench. Number 15, McCormick's going to shoot two from the line for that foul. She makes the first one that puts Hillsdale up 8 to 2, 9 to 2 now. Kenna McCormick has a 69% free throw average. That's right. She just made the second one, so Hillsdale is now up 10-2, just a few minutes into this first quarter. They're pressing hard on defense, so he is struggling to be.

Generally, not an un shouldn't appear together because they're repetitive, similarly to a double negative. If you find yourself saying something like, it's not unpleasant, you probably mean either that it's mediocre or it's pleasant. Pick one of these two. Don't combine them with the not-un structure. The exception to this rule is if you're rebutting a statement. Suppose someone tells you that's an unusual writing style.

You might respond, it's not unusual. It's just antiquated. In this case, you can't replace not-un with a single word. And that's a good rule of thumb.
