Starting point is 00:00:00 My right league goalie says he plays for the love of the game. You gave up six goals last week, Steve. Maybe play to win, huh? Like with Bet365. I get paid the second my team goes out big with early payout and can cash out at any time before the game ends. Steve, Bet365, the home of winning early. Must be 19 and older.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Ontario only. Please play responsibly. If you were someone you know is concerns about gambling, visit connectsontario.ca. Or call 1-866-5-1-2-6-600. Terms and conditions apply. You know what it is? people like to break up the human life and the human experience into sections,
Starting point is 00:00:41 childhood, adolescence, a senior. I'm a senior now. I'm an adult. You go from, if you go backwards, you work, you go senior, adult, adolescent child. There's also two stages of life that I would like to propose called pre getting kicked in the dick and post getting kicked in the dick. You have to remember, not everyone gets kicked in the dick at the same time. So a lot of people are walking around who've been kicked at the dick, having to talk to
Starting point is 00:01:13 people who have not been kicked in the dick. And these are two different types of homo sapiens. They're two different types of homo sapiens. No different from Neanderthal and homo sapiens or homo erectus. They have different world, perspectives and worldviews based on nothing coming close to their dick or something else kicking them in it. Because the kicking the dick changes what you, the arrogance you had, what you thought.
Starting point is 00:01:48 It makes you ask new questions. It makes you look inside. It makes you introspect. It makes you rethink everything. It's disorienting. like getting hit in the temple, which I did get hit in the temple a couple nights ago by search. I'm going to sue you. I got a little dizzy and I wondered, oh, that's what happens when you get hit harder.
Starting point is 00:02:12 The lights go out. So I got a little dizzy for a second. I caught a punch in the head. And I have been knocked unconscious before. But I don't think I've ever been almost knocked unconscious where I felt a little dizzy. And it wasn't close because it was just a little dizzy, but, you know, maybe. maybe it was almost. But there is that.
Starting point is 00:02:33 Now here's the reason why people who've been kicked in the dick just are a little bit more interesting, have a little bit more wisdom, is because everyone gets kicked in the dick. So when you're speaking to someone who hasn't been kicked in the dick, they're unaware that they're going to get kicked in the dick. And that's why when they listen to you, they think you're a fool because the arrogant
Starting point is 00:03:00 of thinking you're not going to be kicked in the dick gives you a perspective on life that is radically different than the person who has been kicked in the dick. Now, getting kicked in the dick can also make you really out there. Right? You get kicked in the dick and that kick in the dick. The pain from the kick in the dick throws you into all types of things. That's where some of the times you'll meet your greatest skeptics,
Starting point is 00:03:26 you know, your greatest, crazy people, violent people. These are people who've all been kicked in the dick. The whole point is how we react. The most profound things are opportunities, choices on how to react. Because whatever something comes and kicks you in the dick, what's happening is you're forced into a change.
Starting point is 00:03:57 you're going to be forced into a change. Some people double down, but you're never the same, no matter what. Even if you're doubling down, it's almost like you're adding a layer that is so suffocating because it's not the same anymore. Nothing is the same. A kick in the dick changes everything. A kick in the dick reverberates forward, and you're going to be changed one way or the other. like that saying that I actually love, you're either, you know, you pay for it up front or the check
Starting point is 00:04:33 comes later. And, you know, it's like people just who are eating, they don't, they forget that there's a check. It's a, you know, there's two types of things in life. Like, you know what you're paying for up front, right? So you, you, you get, you, you, you pay the food, you pay at the counter and then you get your food. So then you have it. But you've paid. So you've already paid. And then there's a time where you sit down and you eat and you eat. And you. you eat and you eat and you eat and you eat. And a lot of times you'll forget that the check comes, right? So you're doing all this stuff and you think it's scot-free. You think there's no consequences. And then you go, oh shit, there's a check because there's always a check. It either
Starting point is 00:05:11 comes before or after. And it's the same thing, people in the workout community, people who really get after it at the gym. I'm talking to my creatine folk. You know, people really get out into gym with the peptides and the creatine. You know what I'm saying? They have an expression too, right? It's either like you regret it now or it's the regret of hard work or regret from not doing it. I'm fucking it up. But you know what I'm saying, right?
Starting point is 00:05:38 Have you heard that expression? It's like it's either regret now. It's the pain of, dude, it's the pain now or the pain of the regret. That's what it is. It's like it's the pain of hard work or the pain of regret. Something that, you know, makes Sylvester Stallone. into who he is. But you ain't escaping to check, right?
Starting point is 00:05:57 You ain't escaping to check. So the kick in the dick gives you that moment where you're presented with an inevitable change because nothing changes you like a kick in the dick, right? A kick in the dick can concretely be thinking about, be thought about, okay, let's say someone fucks you over. It can be anything, but we'll just use one example. Somebody fucks you over.
Starting point is 00:06:20 Okay. So now things. you're different, right? Your naivete's gone. Paradise is lost, John Milton. Paradise is lost. You're hurt. You're angry. You feel betrayed. So now you can do two things. You can harden and trust less and perhaps endow people who don't deserve to be the recipients of that heartedness. went for it. Or you can open up and become more understanding and empathetic to other people who have been fucked over.
Starting point is 00:07:05 And also you can look to not fuck over people because you don't want to give them that feeling. And you can do a little bit of both. I don't know. I'm just saying you're forced with a change. Like that life experience, that kick in the day. is going to force you to change in some way. And I think people do make the experience of variety of changes based on who they are,
Starting point is 00:07:28 whatever. You'll see people who doubled down, become more closed off, some people who open up, become more forgiving, a combination of two, or maybe a third one I'm not even thinking about. Maybe they did become, they go trans. I don't know what the consequences are they go trans. I'm going to try something out. Maybe this happened. Maybe they think it happened because they're a boy and they're like,
Starting point is 00:07:50 I'm going to be a girl now, whatever it is. Or maybe they become race car drivers and they die in a race car accident. There's a lot of consequences that can happen. But you can always trace who you are back to moments of being kicked in the dick. And some people get kicked in the dick when they're two years old. They can't remember it. And then they got to get hypnotized. Remember, I got kicked in the dick.
Starting point is 00:08:12 And by kick the dick means somebody was touching my dick that shouldn't have been. That's usually what happened. or you get kicked into the dick by someone who's supposed to love you and that causes a big wound. You know, there's a whole bunch of things. But there's no question. People are either seen, misseen, or unseen. And we're all trying to negotiate who we are and how we relate to the world based on those three things.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Okay. We're in the year of our Lord 2026. Like I said last episode, at this point, it's pretty clear. People either are seen, unseen, or misseen by the people who are supposed to love them and care for them most during our vulnerable years. That could be family. That could be your childhood friend group. That could be a girlfriend. That could be all of the above.
Starting point is 00:09:06 It could be the state when it takes over and becomes your daddy after the social pressure wins. And the proletariat revolutionizes and everyone gets their. proper pay. They're forced into stagnation into their proper pay because their expectation must be reality. Whatever it is, that's who we, that's who we are as humans, as individuals, that's who we are. If we're free enough to even explore it or ask it, which is what makes a good brainwashing sound good sometimes. because then you could absolutely say, you know what?
Starting point is 00:09:47 It's just, you know, we're never going to get everyone on board. There is a real virtue. That's a stretch. But there's a real practical application for authority and authoritarianism. There's a real, let's stop beating around the bush. Let's be honest, let's talk, right? From one person who's been kicking in a dick multiple times, to other people who've been kicking the dick multiple times.
Starting point is 00:10:14 There is a real practical, there's a real practical positive. And a little authoritarianism meaning we're just going to brainwash everyone. We're going to make everyone one. And if you deviate, we cut you out like a cancer. Right? Nobody's having any fun anymore. But the good news is you don't know you're not having, you don't know what you're missing. You don't know what could be, but there's order and people are walking with briefcases
Starting point is 00:10:48 and they're in North Korea and they're just, they're going to Ukraine and they're offering themselves up and yelling King Jong-un when they get exploded. And then their family gets a better apartment or whatever, which is what they do. Like you become a hero because you fought for, I don't know what. I don't know why they're aligning and why that's happening. There's some deal, you know. I mean, if you don't think Putin is. conditioned to be a Marxist, then you don't know who he is.
Starting point is 00:11:18 So, like all of them, right? Like King Z, you know, they're using capitalism the way Marx thought you needed to use capitalism. You got to get it all the way cooking, get all the way rich, and then you start doing what they're doing in China, right? you start. Involving the government, sending people to reeducation, saying people can't travel anymore, get rid of your generals. Do you see it happening?
Starting point is 00:11:48 It's happening. As a great Chris Rourke said, that trains never late. So that's what's happening. And we're seeing that. Nobody's really paying attention because, you know, Trump, I don't know, just showed Z a good dinner. And maybe, you know, they looked at each other's coffee. and we're like, wow, they're both small. Look what we've been able to do.
Starting point is 00:12:10 I don't know what they did, but nobody's really seeing some of the things happening in China going, like, are they making the switch now? Are they going from the capitalist state to the... You know, socialism is the butterfly. It's the caterpillar to communism's butterfly. Let me see that for the clip, but I'm not going to make. Not going to make it anyway,
Starting point is 00:12:36 but so I don't have to repeat it. But that's what socialism is. You know, it's nobody knows anything anymore. Nobody knows we're so disconnected from everything. So we're asking these questions that we're like we're supposed to be connected to and we're re-exploring things that we're supposed to know. But it's because nobody learned shit in school. So it's like we got to learn it now on podcasts or by asking people who are pretending to not know.
Starting point is 00:13:05 Socialism, based on its foundational founders, is the caterpillar phase of communism. That's what it is. And you go, what is the caterpillar phase of communism? The caterpillar phase of communism is, did we do this on the last episode? Probably. Is when the social collective owns the modes of production. That's what makes socialism socialism.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Firefighters is not socialism. Public school is not socialism. Healthcare is not socialism. It's socialist inspired. You can spin it that way. Or you can say what it was before socialism and capitalism even existed. It is public benefits given by the government that even Rome had. Rome had fire brigades.
Starting point is 00:14:04 rum fed the poor every system has had public benefits right you got to pay off the people a little bit so they don't burn your foyer we've this are recurring themes right so it's not socialism the firefighting department is not socialism police is not socialism socialism is when the government or the uh it's very the social collective, the workers, the people, whoever they may be, own the modes of production. Meaning it's lights out for private property. It's lights out for private enterprise. Also, it's lights out for individuality. But that is less of a concrete, that's more of an opinion.
Starting point is 00:15:00 Right. But what they call an educated one. what they call that a hypothesis, an educated guess. So that's what it is. So North Korea, you know, if you live in North Korea, because does it a good brainwashing, if you just go look, this shit, I can understand why it happens.
Starting point is 00:15:19 You just go, look, people are a mess. They're going to start demanding shit. They're going to want to overthrow. This person's going to get jealous to this person. How about everyone just shut the fuck up? Get in line. You're not bigger than the country. collective.
Starting point is 00:15:34 Just your individuality means nothing. You're here to serve me. I'm a fat little short North Korean. And my authority comes from who my father was. And you're just going to, and you go, you're not going to ask questions about that. It's just the way it goes. We're back to the divine right of kings, except we say there's no kings and we say there's no dictatorship.
Starting point is 00:15:55 I don't know what the, I don't, does he call himself a placeholder? I don't know how he, I don't know how they do that. I imagine by force, whatever it is, but I don't know how, like, you're not allowed to ask, like, okay, when do you wither away, fatso? I don't think you're allowed to ask, when do you wither away fatso? Because supposedly he's supposed to wither away, right? Marks wouldn't recognize this, or he'd recognize it and go like, okay, where are we? He's going like, where are we?
Starting point is 00:16:25 Because you remember Marx is just, you know, he was drinking and he was, you know, he threw this out. at the time during the Industrial Revolution where he was a reaction that was created as a reaction to the inequities of the new industrial revolution in capitalism. But more specifically, the factories and the conditions, right? And then he went, oh, this is what it's been the whole way. And he's got a point, right, a little bit. But he's got just as much a point as Hegel.
Starting point is 00:16:53 Like, yeah, Hegel goes, okay, we have an idea. And then that produces its opposite. it and then there's a conflict between an attention between those two. And then what's created is synthesis, which is basically you take, because of that conflict, the good from both makes something new. And we get rid of the bagass. Bag ass is like a banana peel that you throw out. And we got a new fucking hard banana that we stuck in our mouths until another antithesis,
Starting point is 00:17:20 thesis, antithesis, synthesis, antithesis, synthesis. Thesis, antithesis, synthesis. Both have really good. specific points. Was this on the last episode or am I mixing up with history hyenas? Hyenas. Okay. Well, then I can do that.
Starting point is 00:17:37 But I didn't, what was the last episode about? AI, I think. Oh, because the last episode was like four months ago. But I, maybe didn't,
Starting point is 00:17:48 I don't think I have because this is new. I'm just seeing, I'm just seeing people go, what is socialism? It's like, you don't know, nobody knows? Why is this being intentionally obfuscated?
Starting point is 00:17:58 Why is it being, Why does nobody know what it is? Why do people confuse public benefits? Why? Why is that happening? Why is that? Is it intentional? I don't understand.
Starting point is 00:18:13 Why do people conflate firefighters and health care to socialism? I don't know. But it's not. It's not. It's not socialism. You can call it social democracy, which is, I guess, what they do. Sometimes, but then sometimes you'll see videos where they go once we seize the modes of production.
Starting point is 00:18:33 And you go, what did you just say? What does that mean? And then when you see the response, he just talks about, he goes, what is social? The question is what is social? It's a point point question. What is socialism? And he says, it's making, it's the government doing stuff. It's the government, essentially the government is doing stuff.
Starting point is 00:18:55 And that stuff makes life more affordable for everybody. And you're going, okay, that sounds good. Just like, just like public school sounds good. Just like firefighters sound good. So there's this kind of like bait and switch shit going on, right? Where it's like, what is socialism? You're going, socialism is all those good things, but more. And you go, what are those good things?
Starting point is 00:19:20 You go, yeah, are those good things, socialism? Yeah, yeah, why not? Yeah, that's socialism, that's such. It's like just good shit. It's just good shit. it's just all good shit. You notice that? It's like all that good shit that you already see.
Starting point is 00:19:35 So it's this bait and switch where they're kind of convincing people that we already have socialism, which we have socialist inspired is a way you can do it. You can say socialist inspired, I guess. It's, you know, yeah, we tax some people and redistribute. And yeah, there's socialist inspired policy. But these are all things that have existed in. every system throughout history before capitalism was even a thing, right? It's what every system has done.
Starting point is 00:20:06 You don't need capitalism to have firefighters. You don't need socialism to have firefighters, right? So socialism is, according to its foundational creators, the stage before communism. What is communism? Communism is when the latter just, did I say, am I just repeating it? It just seems like I've said this before. So what it is is socialism becomes common. Now this is my favorite part about Marx,
Starting point is 00:20:39 is that so socialism is like whatever, a placeholder. It's communism in waiting. Just like when the Jews went to Israel, it was a state in waiting. You're like, this is going to happen once we figure shit out. This is in waiting. It's going to happen. Communism's coming.
Starting point is 00:20:57 And that's what I love about Marx. it'll just happen. That's my favorite part. It's like the, like I was saying, the caterpillar just becomes the butterfly. You don't have to do anything. That's what Marx said. It just happens.
Starting point is 00:21:10 In other words, you build the ladder. Socialism is the ladder to get to communism. And communism is the end goal. I'm speaking to you, King Jun-in. When is the fat boy going to wither away? Right? This isn't. what marks marks would mark's marks would check in and go okay how long what's our books look like and he'd go
Starting point is 00:21:34 is it time like you know it's time to go home it's time to go home it's time to just the people are in control they get it now now it's time for utopia you know and that's where socialism started socialism started with uh st thomas more uh with the utopia and then you had a movement before marks with the social utopians, a socialist utopians, right? And so Marx is kind of similar. In that last stage, communism just happens at the right moment. You don't get to do anything. You build the ladder with socialism to communism.
Starting point is 00:22:12 And then when you get up there, the best analogy is the ladder disappears on its own. And that being the perfect analogy for it shows the problem with it. because ladders never disappear on their own unless David Blaine has done some shit that you can be sure of is a magic trick. Ladders don't disappear on their own. So it's not a coincidence that we've never seen the ladder disappear. And then that ladder is a fat fuck with a flat top who's got Patrick Ewing's haircut and Norm from Cheers's body. It's not. and I mean

So there is something nice to the brainwash going like, you know what, let's just solve it this way.
Starting point is 00:25:18 So I can see the appeal to communism. It's like, let's just throw, like, who this is too messy. This is just too messy. Like even in the brainwalk, doesn't brainwash sound good? I want to go in for a good brainwash. Just clean me out.
Starting point is 00:25:34 It's like going in for a facial. Just take my brain and clean it. Tell me what to think. Make it easy. Tell me what to do. Tell me who I am. Give me a purpose. This freedom thing is too hard.
Starting point is 00:25:48 It's too messy because it is. I don't want to talk to my family anymore anyway, you know, especially if they have opinions that are, I don't want any diverse opinions anymore. So cut me off from my, cut me off. It's funny because the process of socialism acts the same way as what they say toxic boyfriends are, you know? You cut you off from your friends, your family, outside information.
Starting point is 00:26:16 It's always closed. You ever notice that they're so threatened. It's such a superior system. but they're just so threatened by any ideas getting in or out. It's always very closed. Borders closed. And that's just what it is. And nobody's swimming to it.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Nobody's allowed to get out and nobody's trying to get in for whatever reason. And that supposedly tells you nothing. Let's just let's stop looking at the practical application and we'll just start looking at the words and the beauty of it. and we'll just blame America always. You know, one of the biggest problems in retrospect, I think, is that, you know, America engaged, well, they had to in some way, I guess, but engaged in this power, this global power struggle. Because whenever anyone tells you that whole like CIA interference, sanctions,
Starting point is 00:27:14 scapegoat, because that's what it is, is a scapegoat, right? you know they go CIA America look at what they're doing in Cuba look at what they're doing and it's just a common bullshit argument you always hear um and I'll tell you why this didn't happen in a laboratory right capitalism was not untouched by the pull and the power struggle between these two ideologies you know it's the one that emerged from the power struggle which is kind of like Hegelian in a way, right? You had your thesis, your antithesis, the thesis being capitalism, socialism being created by the thesis becoming the antithesis,
Starting point is 00:28:00 and what emerged is a new type of capitalism with socialist-inspired checks, which is very Keynesian, very mixed economy. It's what we see in the world today. So it is very Hegelian. That's why Hegel's pretty fucking dope. You go, I can always put that somewhere and see something like that. I don't think it's the full picture. I don't think anything is the full picture.
Starting point is 00:28:25 And I think when you mistake something for the full picture, it inevitably turns fucked because then it's a closed system. Certainty is always a closed system. And what do closed systems do? They got nowhere to go. So they always, they got nowhere to go. It's closed. See where it's coming?
Starting point is 00:28:42 It's closed. You go this way. It's closed. It's not open. You're not letting anything new in. You don't believe in anything new. So you just fucking closed. Whether you make it a circle, a square, whatever you do, it's closed.
Starting point is 00:28:55 So it comes back and usually hurts you. But you can clearly see how that happened, right? How Hegel's dialectic is present there and something new emerged. And so, yeah, you go, that's kind of true. That kind of worked out. That kind of worked out decently. But the thing is, America, by intervening and doing the sanctions, kind of creates that scapegoat. It's like the perfect scapegoat for the authoritative leader.
Starting point is 00:29:37 Whenever there's a famine, whenever things aren't working out, what do you do? You go, America. Look at what they're doing. It's their fault. That's exactly why your buddy or whoever you just argued with is able to always claim that unfalsifiable theory, right? They say, yeah, look at small little Cuba. Oh, you're saying it failed.
Starting point is 00:30:03 No, it was abused by America. And yeah, we do do that. We do do that. We did squeeze them. We do squeeze them because we want to extinguish them. not without a doubt. But we don't really need to, right? Because then you go, well, was the USSR a small little helpless country?
Starting point is 00:30:23 They weren't, and they folded. Was China a small little country? They had to adopt, they had to adopt markets and foreign investment and open up. And it was kind of capitalist principles that kind of made them into the juggernaut that they are today. Right? You see it in Vietnam. Same thing. so you don't really need to, but I understand during the global power struggle while they did.
Starting point is 00:30:47 Now you're going like, I don't buy it. I don't buy it. Okay. Well, what about Finland? Nobody ever talks about Finland. Nobody ever mentions it. Nobody ever mentions West Berlin. Nobody ever mentions South Korea.
Starting point is 00:31:10 Why do you not mention? it? Is it because it's inconvenient to your Cuba as victim narrative being responsible for its failure? Because what happened in Finland? Finland was a country that sat right on the border with Russia that was subject to political pressure, financial leverage, everything. It remained, right? It remained a liberal democracy, capitalist, whatever. but it was pressured like crazy, right? And it didn't fold. It did okay.
Starting point is 00:31:48 Same thing with South Korea, right? Poland. Poland and Estonia are good for another reason. Another example. Like how many examples do you fucking people need? Right? So Poland and Estonia. Communists for decades.
Starting point is 00:32:06 Shit. It's shit there. Just as the people who live there. And now look at them now. very quickly in one generation, flourishing once they became capitalist. So what is that? Why are you ignoring that?
Starting point is 00:32:20 Why are you ignoring South Korea dealing with violent force from the USSR, right? This didn't happen in a laboratory. The Soviet Union was trying to push and expand its worldview too. It wasn't just capitalism. The Soviet Union was also
Starting point is 00:32:41 doing espionage and, you know, trying to spread. It was, it wasn't, it wasn't just the Americans doing foul shit. Both sides were doing foul shit. Stalin invaded Finland. They expected a victory within a few weeks. Instead, the outnumbered Finns inflicted catastrophic casualties on the Soviets using British tactics because they're fucking drunk snow people. They're exactly.
Starting point is 00:33:16 They were expert skiers. I mean, it's cold up there. They wore white camouflage. They blended in the snow. They used what was called the multi-tactic guerrilla-style operations. So what is that? How come you never bring that up, the pressure that Finland felt or South Korea felt? You know?
Starting point is 00:33:35 Why not? West Berlin, the pressure they felt. Why did West Berlin, you know, become so prosperous. East Berlin didn't. East Germany, West Germany. Why? Was there no pressure on West Berlin from East? Was there no pressure on West Germany from East Germany?
Starting point is 00:33:54 Was there no pressure from the Soviet Union on West Germany? Was there no pressure on Finland from the Soviet Union? Was there no pressure on South Korea from the Soviet Union? There was. But you never mentioned that because it's inconvenient to your argument. The argument being you're claiming this is a superior system. So it's just interesting that nobody ever brings up the full picture.
Starting point is 00:34:25 People do that with everything. It's just they limit the information that is convenient for what they believe, you know? And I'm not saying it was equal. Maybe we were better at it. I don't know. But it didn't happen in a vacuum. There was other countries that were pressured by the USSR in, are in similar ways that we pressured Cuba, for example.
Starting point is 00:34:51 So nobody ever mentions that. Nobody ever mentions that at all, which is very interesting to me. You know, it's just something I notice people do. So I don't know. I don't know. It's an interesting thing because I saw a lot of people who were trying to figure out what socialism is, so I figured I defined it for you accurately. That is the accurate definition of socialism.
Starting point is 00:35:24 That's the accurate definition of socialism. And if you're confused, you should know that public benefits, government giving things to their citizens is not socialism. Socialism is not that. Socialism is when the government owns everything. and it's the communism in waiting stage. It's not, socialism is not about basic dignity. That is not what it is.
Starting point is 00:35:53 That's not the definition of socialism. Mamdami said socialism is about basic dignity. I'm fighting for what nobody's priced out, whatever, whatever. Now, this happens to be exactly what Chavez did, what Comani did, and what Castro did, believe it or not. Like what he,
Starting point is 00:36:13 said what they said campaigning for power before they were in power was things like this. We're going to give you more of this particular thing. We're going to give you more of this. We're going to expand this. We're going to expand this. And then once they got into power,
Starting point is 00:36:28 something a little different happened. The reason why they did that is because when you say these things outright, it's not as popular as you think it is. So if you can spin it the right way, it sounds a little more popular to people. people. Some people, it's not hard enough, right? Some people, but those aren't the people who are going to get you in office, right? You're going to win over those disgruntled moderates in a democracy,
Starting point is 00:36:56 whatever. You know, Cuba did the, you know, pot for every chicken campaign. There's a chicken in every pot. You know, it's just all good stuff. You're going to get free shit, you know. It's just free this, free that and they say they're going to do these things than they do them and then you're even more happy and then it's just why don't we just stay in power we know better and that was their goal the whole time that was their goal the whole time there is a gap between what dsa members say on the trail and what they say internally and on their own website so it's like and what they have said in the past, there is a gap. And that gap does tell a story. And that gap does have historical precedent. What I'm telling you is true. You go make a decision for what it means.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I don't know. But I am telling you that Mom Dami did not answer the question on that podcast of what socialism is. What I just told you is what socialism is. And I'm telling you again, the historical precedent is those three people I just mentioned who did the same exact thing. Is it related? Maybe not. Is socialism just making life better for everybody else? Okay. Maybe that's a new definition.
Starting point is 00:38:25 These are all things you have to decide for yourself, but I'm just giving you information maybe you didn't have. Cuba handed out subsidized Chinese made electric rice steamers and pressure cookers. Now, this is obviously a reaction to Trump's. authoritarianism, right? Because he's been pushing and pushing and pushing through his tactic. You know, his tactic is this, right? He goes, I'm going to say some shit. I'm going to try to do some wild shit. I'm going to convince these people to fucking, you know, prolong the vote and storm the capital. And then, right? And then I'm going to go, whoa, I'm just joking. Whoa, it's not my, whoa, I didn't do anything. And then he makes you look crazy, right? Or say, you know, maybe I'll stay a
Starting point is 00:39:04 third term or I'll make a joke. And, you know, it's, yeah, you know, dictatorship seems pretty good. And then people freak out. This is his tactic. He probably learned it from Roy Cohn, right? Just always push. Whatever it is. It's who he is. So he'll say it.
Starting point is 00:39:19 And then he's testing. Is there pushback? So the pushback comes. And then when the pushback comes, he goes, I'm just kidding. I just talk. And then he'll say something. And he doesn't say I'm just kidding. He'll just say something different that will go, whoa, whoa, whoa, okay, maybe he didn't
Starting point is 00:39:34 mean that. But what he's doing is saying, I'm just kidding. Right. And then he goes, look at these fools. They got Trump derangement syndrome. Look at these idiots. There's no reason why they'd be concerned. Why would you be concerned?
Starting point is 00:39:47 Presidents say shit like that all the time. Presidents try to do things like this all the time. Presidents try to convince Stormarm Georgia to fucking find the votes all the time. Presidents do whatever it is. I mean, there's so many things you could point to. I can't even think of all the examples. And that's part of it too. I'm going to do so much that I'm going to exhaust you.
Starting point is 00:40:08 And that's what it does. It exhausts people from that constant game of like, does he mean it? Does he not? Does he mean it? Does he not? Until you're just exhausted. And the point of it is to push to see how far you can get away with. Will it bend?
Starting point is 00:40:24 You know, will it break? You know? Because systems don't stand on their own. Systems stand based on how much people are willing to defend them. And that whole election thing, it just, his vice president broke from him, the Republican Party broke from him, and not because I think they hated him or I think it was because they were, they're constitutionalists. And they go, this is, this is bad. If we lose that, we're fucked, right? So the DSA is obviously the populist response to this. But the tactics are
Starting point is 00:41:02 very similar in that it's sort of like we're saying popular stuff and we say it in a real fucking accessible way and we're making it we're giving shit away hey Trump's even going five grand everyone gets five grand everyone gets five grand right so that's where authoritarianism is more important than the ideology it's like five grand just I'm a promise you five grand just vote for me so we're in a bad way we're being tested right now we're being being our institutions are being tested, you know. People are feeling the squeeze. They're feeling the squeeze.
Starting point is 00:41:39 The squeeze is real. The collapse is not, right? We just had the highest median income on record. One of them, one of the lowest poverty, no, the highest medium. I adjusted for inflation, too, based on the census. And the lowest poverty record, 10% or something, poverty. So it's the lowest poverty number on record.
Starting point is 00:42:02 So we're not collapsing, but we are feeling disqueathed. The squeeze is real. Prices are too high. People can't afford shit. The future's uncertain. What's the economy going to be? So we're really vulnerable for authoritarianism. We're really vulnerable for the dam to break what the founders set up, you know, checks
Starting point is 00:42:21 on power, you know, taking the diaper off. We're very, we're very susceptible, vulnerable to that right now. We're vulnerable, very vulnerable. But we'll see. The Democrats are obviously favored to win the midterms. And who knows? Hopefully they don't try to do it. Just let it ride out.
Starting point is 00:42:48 Don't give this guy any ammo to make himself look like a victim because he will. You've taken a lot of shots at the head and you've missed. maybe the best thing is to just produce on some good policies that are fucking popular because there's a few that you keep fucking talking about that are just not. So stop. Stop fucking mistaking the fringe voices for the majority. Okay, stop with the argument that there's only like four trans women in women's sports. People don't care if it's four or one.
Starting point is 00:43:25 They care about the principle. It's fucking accept it. And just get your fucking. head out of your fucking ass. Stop talking about him. Right? That's how he gets powerful and just fucking do good shit. And shut your fucking mouth.
Starting point is 00:43:45 Right? He's like the sand man. The more it's just any attention is good attention. He can spin it. He'll take it. He'll spin it. He'll make it work. Right?
Starting point is 00:43:55 Just go in there and say we're going to continue those popular, those popular policies at the border. Did you hear what I said? There's going to be one person screaming here in a comment section, but guess what? That's your problem. You're listening to some fucking one person thinking there's a million people there. It's probably some Chinese bot, some accountant Pakistan. You saw he won the election. Why did he win the election? Why is South America, you know, winning all these right-wing elections? Why? What are you missing? Is it fascism that if it's across cultures and continents and in Europe, you're missing something.
Starting point is 00:44:41 You're missing. It's just, it's not, that's not what's going on. What's going on is people care about their border, their sovereignty, immigration, crime, and they're a little against the, you know, equality, the stagnation of equality. South America has experienced there for a long time and Europe to certain extent is not the economic juggernaut it used to be because it's kind of been a little stagnant with the let's make sure everyone which is good but you got it sometimes you need a kick in the dick right
Starting point is 00:45:19 it's not all working out great so stop thinking it's fringe because the ballot box keeps proving you wrong right even when he looks lost and he said he won. Like he still got crazy votes, right? In the Kamala one, not the Kamala one, the Biden one. He got crazy votes. I mean, it wasn't a landslide. So, you know, he got elected twice almost three times.
Starting point is 00:45:51 So you're just not listening to the moderates who, what you call moderates, who, like, determine elections, right? Like, it's just not happening. And he's lost a lot of those moderates now, the silent, moderate majority. These just, he's lost a lot of them now, right? On gas, on inflation, on the war in Iran. So this is the, if you fuck this up, nobody can help you, Doug.
Starting point is 00:46:19 Nobody can help you. If you go back to a Kamala, if you go back to a Kamala presidency, the first person out in the primaries, I mean, if you go back to Hillary and then you got, it's just sex. You think it's just sexism that kept her out. If you go back to that bullshit, good luck. Good fucking luck. Beating Jady Vance.
Starting point is 00:46:49 Jeannie Vance. Just, you know, people care about money and low cost of living, dude. And they just want laws, respected, their border closed. This is what they want. I'm seeing people watching this. I'm not in the game of telling you what I want. I'm in the game of looking at it and saying this is what I see.
Starting point is 00:47:18 We don't know who it's going to be, but that's what it is. So we're at this point in history. There's massive change coming. We know they've happened before. There's going to be upheaval. We got a lot of these old world problems in the new world. We're still focused. on the Middle East.
Starting point is 00:47:37 We're still, Jerusalem is still the center. You know, the interesting thing about Yeshua, I don't know what his last name. If we ever know what his last name is, the interesting thing about Yeshua Goldenblum. The funny thing about Yeshua Bernstein is that everything has kind of been a reaction to this guy. He's the most famous guy in history.
Starting point is 00:48:06 The most unlikely, he is like, he's as unlikely as Ben Rice on the Yankees right now. A Dartmouth 12th round pick who became an all-star is like the best player on the Yankees. I mean, this guy was not supposed to be in the league. He played at Dartmouth. He was playing local like amateur ball during COVID. It's 12th round pick. What? That's like Jesus.
Starting point is 00:48:34 Like, what? this guy got crucified in front of a bunch of Jews who were following him who believed the Messiah was supposed to do these things right and he everything that happened was opposite to that so that's usually disqualifying but then he becomes the most famous guy in the world and everyone's still reacting to this fucking guy yesha blundsenberg right it's like the whole world kind of devaluing as a reaction to this guy.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Some people think he's this. Some people think he's that. But the interesting thing about the guy in his life and his reported life and the things he said is that nobody can, everyone has to account for it, right? So the Muslims accounted for it by going, yeah, listen, he was a prophet, but he wasn't the final one. You know, he wasn't crucified. God just made it seem like you.
Starting point is 00:49:37 was crucified, but he's going to come back and judge. He's going to come back and judge at the end of times. It'll be Jesus come back. And you go, wait a second. That sounds a lot like God's job restriction. You go, yeah, but he's not God. But he goes, that sounds like he's going to judge. How can he have the authority of judge if he's not God?
Starting point is 00:49:52 And you go, whoa, that's weird. The Jews account for it. Like, yeah, listen, the guy was a blasphemy. You know, the guy was an idol worshiper. They both call him an idol. It's idolatry. He's claiming it. He was heresy.
Starting point is 00:50:04 He was claiming to be, because it's a bold claim. He's like, we had to get rid of that. We had to stomp that out because that is no, Bueno, because Hashem is fucking Hashem. It's just Hashem, dog. Hashem's just Hashem. And then, you know, it's funny, they go, listen, they go, God is ultimate. It's just God.
Starting point is 00:50:25 Don't put any pictures up. And they go, look, God's all knowing. He's infinite. He's boundless. He's limitless. He's all powerful. And then they go, you know, the truth. Trinity doesn't make any sense.
Starting point is 00:50:39 How can God replicate himself? And you're going, wait a second, did you just say God was all powerful, all knowing, and limitless? And you're telling me he can't do what a virus can do? So you're saying he's limitless except for being able to replicate himself like a virus. So you're saying God has all power, all limits, is the real thing, except for what it's comes to what acorns do. Except for when it comes to what a virus does. Okay.
Starting point is 00:51:18 So that's your problem. So that's your issue is the three and one thing. You don't have any issue with God splitting the moon. He split the moon. He stopped the sun for like a day or whatever. you got no issue with a fucking horse and the judge. I mean, the list goes on of things that you're claiming God. He turned someone to salt.
Starting point is 00:51:44 He turned someone into salt because she looked back. Was it the wife? So he can turn someone into salt. And you believe that and that's totally fucking. And but that's where you draw the line. You go, well, I don't understand how he can replicate himself. I don't understand how he could take human form. and be in three places at the same time.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Which, by the way, listen, also is a little confusing to me, right? I see it more like, which for some reason, I don't think any Christian see it, but if it did happen, it would make sense that like, oh, yeah, I think everyone's a little right and a little wrong. Like, all right, yeah, the Holy Spirit is God, right? That's the name we put on God. And then God entered humanity to, like, teach us about love
Starting point is 00:52:28 or whatever to fulfill some prophecy, whatever the fuck. And then because he entered, he became the son, of God, because He's God as the son. He broke off to himself. And then that creates the father. So he's referring to him. But for some reason, Christians are like, no, he's three people and one. Maybe he is.
Starting point is 00:52:43 But I just think it's funny that that's where you draw the line on what God can do. He can't do that. But everyone had to account for this guy. Even the ones who didn't believe in the miracles like Thomas Jefferson, still had to account for the morality. Now, here's the interesting thing about the morality. Not different in any way from, Judaism.
Starting point is 00:53:06 Judaism says all the things he was saying you can find it all in the Old Testament. If you go back to the Old Testament, you can find all the kind of love God with all your heart, love your neighbor, feed the poor. You can find everything's already in there. So I can see if I was as you, I'm going like, listen, I'm a fan of Eminem. I don't like machine gun Kelly because Eminem is the real deal. The one thing that he did that was different was the love your enemies thing. That's the thing he added on where he goes, look, pray for your enemies.
Starting point is 00:53:39 Pray for your enemies. That's all. Pray for your enemies. Love your enemy. And then grace. You know, it's like you got to forgive, you know? The Old Testament, God's a really unforgiving guy. He really comes down hard on you.
Starting point is 00:53:54 If you turn around, you turn it to salt. So she's just great. grace as we had so you see kind of like it's just very interesting it's very interesting to me because what I've noticed is like this guy it's very weird that he became the most famous guy and I just notice everyone has to react to it and I've noticed that the reaction if you look tells you just as much about the people or the persons who are doing it individually than it does about him because he's a mystery, right? It's like we don't know what's fiction.
Starting point is 00:54:31 We don't know what's real. We don't know if he went, if he was talking to a devil. We don't know what, but the story, much like the Odyssey, kind of moves us in a way where we're forced to kind of like,
Starting point is 00:54:43 it's like a mirror. It's like here's this ideal person in goodness, sinless life or whatever. And then it just creates a mirror in a way where it's a mirror. It just is like this mirror where you have to deal with it. You got to like react and like I just,
Starting point is 00:55:02 it's a very interesting thing in that way where it's not, there's nothing certain there. It's just a, but you, everyone's reacting to it, right? Even the people who, who aren't into it or who,
Starting point is 00:55:15 they have to sort of kind of account for it in a way. It would be easy to account for if you're like, yeah, look, but then he raped this kid over here, right? Or if you went and you found, you went, yeah, he said that, but then he went over there. and he's banging prostitutes. Or he said, yeah, don't hold the grudge.
Starting point is 00:55:32 But then he said, Luke, you piece of shit. Or something, if there was something that we recognized in ourselves that we could hold on to to caricature him. Because that's what we do. We find something. We go, we find something to caricature. We go, that's bullshit. And we're usually right. Right?
Starting point is 00:55:49 Because everyone's full of shit. But he was coming down saying, yeah. We're all full of shit. So it's just this inch that's an interesting thing that I bring up because we are in a world now where there is no fucking meaning. Everyone is certain countries have meaning. They have meaning. They have an objective.
Starting point is 00:56:20 But like there's no, it didn't happen. what the Jews wanted, like the world's uniting and everyone understanding Moses's Ten Commandments. And it didn't happen. You know, the Jewish Messiah was supposed to come. He was supposed to free them from the Romans. And he was supposed to bring peace to all nations. And then everyone was going to fucking yell in Havanaughan Nagila. And we would all be living in peace.
Starting point is 00:56:50 And it didn't happen. So we're here now. And the reason I bring it up is because it's sort of the kind of elephant in the room of what's missing in the world. Not Jesus. I'm not saying Christianity or I'm saying some type of people are searching for meaning because now we're kind of living in a world where we got a lot of the old world of shit still here. But we have a lot of an ability. We have all the apparatus we need to. to have safety, comfort, food.
Starting point is 00:57:24 We're getting to a point where we're inventing a technology that's going to be able to maybe end us or maybe supply us with so much time and so much. We don't know, but those are the two predictions, right? I'm podcasting at this moment in the year of our Lord, 2026, where that is the two things people are saying, right? And that's what they're saying. They're saying this is going to kill us or this is going to be the greatest thing ever.
Starting point is 00:57:54 And the intuition is it's going to be one of the two. I don't see a real, like nobody really sees like a third option or it's just like you're walking around with your AI and buddy and going like this is going nowhere. This is just going to be the stats quo. Like it's going to fundamentally, you know, either destroy us. Some guy talking to his fucking AI girlfriend. I mean, it's just going to, it's not healthy. or it's going to liberate us in a way.
Starting point is 00:58:23 And the danger and potential in my strong educated opinion based on really being obsessed but kind of looking into it is that I think it's a real binary. It's a real moment where one of the two are going to happen. That's what I think. I think one of the two are going to happen. I'm as scared of that as I am communism. Because when communism happens, bro, it's sort of like that social pressure thing comes on. You know, you got to join, you got to turn your mother in.
Starting point is 00:59:01 You got to like, and they take your house and you're supposed to nod along and be like, this is just what's good for everybody. This is what, you know, everyone's deserve. I just, I need, I've been a bad boy. I need to just understand how why this is good for everyone. you know, I know this is just a math equation on a messy world that's going to work because, you know, because I have evil. Anyone who does well is evil and anyone who's struggling is moral.
Starting point is 00:59:28 And I understand that this is the way we look at the world now. Success means evil. Struggling means good. I understand everything is filtered through that. I get it. Israel Palestine. They're the white colonial bad, good, brown, even though they're brown. even though they're brown.
Starting point is 00:59:45 They all look the fucking same and they're fucking arguing about some old world shit. In this fucking land, this fucking place where as my dad would say, this Jew boy was born.
Starting point is 01:00:00 And it was important to the Jews before the Jew boy. And then it was important to everyone else after the Jew boy, including the Muslims who make no mistake. It's an abriatic religion too. All three of them
Starting point is 01:00:12 are, based on Abraham and Abraham begets Isaac and Isaac beheads Joshua and Joshua begets. So there's these three major forces still going in the run. Then you got the Asians. And they're doing a little thing we like to call Marxism. Not yet. But is anyone noticing? Can we go back to that and we'll end on that?
Starting point is 01:00:44 Isn't that like wasn't four generals just removed? I want to adopt that snarky intonation right now. Like, don't you think it's bad what you're doing, Sebastian? Don't you think that's a little naughty? Don't you know I am owning goodness? I'm the moral one so I can point my finger at you person. I am not only a comedian. I'm also a moral authority.
Starting point is 01:01:07 Do you know that intonation? So right-wing podcasts. Fascism. Bad. Ruining comedy. just conveniently things that aren't going so good for me are evil sometimes caricatured
Starting point is 01:01:25 so uh so at present uh king zan u had removed uh Zhang Ho Chi he's removed top generals
Starting point is 01:01:42 Zhang Wang Zin and Liu Zinangang from the state Central Military Commission, and he's done a sweeping military anti-corruption and political loyalty crackdown. There's been a little bit of a broader purge. These dismissals reduce the active leadership of the Supreme Central Military Commission to just two active members who are looking at each other like this now. You ever see that Saddam Hussein when he meets and he purges the people in the party?
Starting point is 01:02:20 You ever see that video? He's smoking a cigar. And he just calmly tells him to stand up. He says their name and they stand up and they're like, And they're just being led away. Oh, I love you. It wasn't me. It wasn't me.
Starting point is 01:02:41 So these were two leaders and it leaves the military command heavily centralized. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. That's a cool coincidence. Wait a second. That's just, oh. You know, obviously these two guys were bad. Right? But I didn't know that the consequence of that would be that it leaves the command highly centralized under Xi himself.
Starting point is 01:03:04 I didn't know that. Disloyalty. The purges because of disloyalty, corruption, and bribery. But disloyalty's in there. Critics will say that it's a major consolidation of political control within the people's liberal. Critics. the Americans, the dirty Americans and the CIA will say
Starting point is 01:03:34 it's consolidation of power under one person. I think the cocoon is going to become a butterfly. I think the cocoons leaning towards becoming a butterfly. What happened now? Are you allowed? Are certain people not allowed to leave the country now? Can you just, just check it? Just check it for me.
Starting point is 01:03:57 Just check it for me. Yeah Yeah Just check it Touch me right there Touch me Touch me Touch me nice
Starting point is 01:04:07 Touch me real nice Oh it feels so good Oh yeah Oh my God Oh my God The Chinese government Has significantly Expanded its legal framework
Starting point is 01:04:19 To issue sweeping exit bans Make it much harder For specific categories Of citizens and foreign nationals to depart That's just that You can't go, you know, Hitler did the same. It's authoritarian.
Starting point is 01:04:32 You push a little, and then you use that momentum. Or you stop. Do humans ever stop? Do humans ever stop? Do they just stop? So right now, if you're a tech professional or a scientist, due to escalating technological competition with the West, anyone working in critical fields like artificial intelligence,
Starting point is 01:04:56 semiconductors, advanced computing or rare earths, can be barred from leaving if authorities believe their departure threatens industrial or technological security. Now, apologists will say this was a necessary move because America's always spying and trying to take them down, even though we keep arresting people at the fucking airport who are Chinese spies, because they don't do that, only we do that. But yet we don't, we don't lock people down like this. Yeah, not their families. If you know any of these guys, you can't leave the country until they reach superintelligence and vaporize us.
Starting point is 01:05:42 So many lower level public employees now state-owned enterprise workers and teachers face mandatory passport confiscations and must obtain strict state approval to trial. travel abroad. Now look, I think this is all, I think fucking China is great. And it's in great shape. I think Russia's in great shape. I too would love a state directed tour. I would like to be invited by the government and get a tour so I can see the reality for myself. Chinese courts use exibands to block individuals from leaving, especially foreigners. if they or their employers are involved in any civil assets, debt collection, they're so moral. Under collective punishment tactics, family members,
Starting point is 01:06:38 including minor children, holding foreign citizenship, have been blocked from leaving to compel relatives overseas to return to China to face investigation. We want to know who got to you. But like Z said, we're friends, and we're moving forward, holding hands into the future. people like why have people forgotten that people lie
Starting point is 01:07:02 why has people forgotten that people lie why have people forgotten that people lie to themselves everyone just takes everyone's word for it Putin said it much be true Z said it he said we're friends must be true we're the only ones who do bad things guys China this is happening in a vacuum China just wants to be left alone
Starting point is 01:07:26 to experience its perfect system in peace it doesn't want anything It's only it's all defensive It's always just defensive Just like the Muslim conquests were just defensive It's just always defensive It's just victims Of the big bad red, white and blue
Starting point is 01:07:50 Always Always And you can always point to one time we were bad And just carpet it But you won't take any of these these bads and carpet it. The carpeting only happens on us because anti-Americanism has reached deleterious proportions, you know, which is kind of the flaw in freedom, you know?
Starting point is 01:08:18 It's called the paradox of tolerance, right? I can't remember who came up with it. Who came up with a paradox tolerance? which basically means when you're tolerant society, you tolerate also the intolerant. But at what point does tolerating the intolerant allow the intolerant to flourish? It was Earl Popper. Sorry.
Starting point is 01:08:44 Carl Popper created the paradox of tolerance in 1945, the open society and its enemies. You know, people don't look at it. People don't. We're disconnected. Everything's new. So what's capitalism? So what's socially? So what is? The paradox states that if a society is tolerant without limit, its ability to be tolerant will eventually be seized or destroyed by the intolerant. Oh, so he went all the way. Yeah. Therefore, to maintain a tolerant society,
Starting point is 01:09:12 the society must be intolerant of intolerance. There's always a paradox at the edge of a rainbow. It's always a paradox. So we are seeing a little bit of that now. there's no other way to slice that fucking apple, baby. There's no other way to take that apple and slice it and hand it out to your children without acknowledging that we're seeing some of that. We're seeing the paradox of tolerance kind of play out. You can criticize America hard here because we're one of the only countries that allow you to do it. It's just the truth, right?
Starting point is 01:09:58 It's like that irony is lost on so many people that like they're talking so bad about the country that they're living in. They never take a second to go like, wow, that I'm allowed to even do this actually says how great it is. That paradox. Right? There's truth to that. Just that I'm allowed to even make a career out of it. You know, my existence is proof of what, against what I'm saying, right? If I'm sitting there going, America is horrible, the foreign policy has destabilized the entire region,
Starting point is 01:10:42 which by way, I also conveniently notice that that presupposes that there was peace and stability before we arrived. It's very convenient to be able to criticize something after it happened because you can't see what would have happened if we didn't. So it's just kind of very freshman year, college year dorm, kind of sitting around, fucking shooting morality around because you're not in the game. You don't have to make the decisions based on how potentially this could grow on because people, the way they see this, oh, this just happened in a vacuum. We went over there, look at Libya, look at Syria.
Starting point is 01:11:22 You're going like, what was it before? You know, what was there? Well, we have authoritarianism. rights being fucking, we had conquest, we had interfaith strife, sectarian strife, fucking murder, blowing up, terrorism, you know. They don't just want to blow up America because they blow, they like to blow up each other a little bit. The little Shi'i Sunni strife goes back a long way, my friends. A long way.
Starting point is 01:11:54 It's not a monolith over there either. nothing's monolith. Only ideas. The human just wants to make everything binary. We just have this thing in our brain in order to understand it. We go good, bad, you know,
Starting point is 01:12:11 superheroes, Legion of Doom. It's just not, that's just not. That's not the way the adult world plays out. It's just not the adult world. It's not adult world. It's the child world. where there's Superman and there's Lex Luther.
Starting point is 01:12:30 That's the child world. The adult world thinks of not just parts of things, thinks of the whole thing. Not saying that America didn't destabilize in this certain instance. I'm not saying, you know, you can point to certain causal, yeah, I'm not saying it doesn't excuse anything. I'm just saying it's not the full complex story, you know? Like imagine America didn't involve itself everywhere.
Starting point is 01:13:04 Would it just, would nobody else? Like Imperial Japan, Germany, you know, China, the USSR, you know, these are countries that were known for minding their own fucking business. That's what's good about them. That's what's good about everyone in history. is they mind their own business. And what's even better is the people that did mind their own business, we can be certain they did it out of pure morality.
Starting point is 01:13:31 Not because they didn't have any power. It was just because they were good people all the time, all the fucking time. If they had the weapons, they would just go and use them as house decorations. That's a beautiful, you know, that's a beautiful worldview. It makes it easier, right? There's good guys, there's bad guys. Kind of makes it neat, you know? America's the bad guy, always, bad guy.
Starting point is 01:13:59 You know, I get it, yeah, we have been. But that's my point. We aren't the bad boy. We aren't the only naughty boy in the classroom. There's a lot of naughty boys in the classroom. And sometimes our naughtiness is a response to other naughtiness and their naughtiness is in response to our naughtiness. but to think that this stuff happens in a vacuum,
Starting point is 01:14:22 which is what arguments want. Arguments go, look at how we've destabilized the region and we caused this. You're going, yeah, yeah, I can see some of that. But like also, if we weren't there, who would be there? Was Russia there? What would they do? Was China there?
Starting point is 01:14:38 Is everyone just minding their own fucking business or is it just us? You know? So at the end of the day, I don't know what this podcast episode was about. Is there a common theme? I don't think so. It's just be rambling about things that I'm interested in to sell some advertisement.
