And we actually did an interview two months ago okay yeah but it was it was a great conversation it

answers a lot of y'all's questions i know a lot of y'all want to know like how i started and questions about the podcasting industry and that podcast really answers it all so i'm gonna link it first link in the description what's your take on the whole Will and Jada? See, that's like a – the Will and Jada Smith thing is something I've been trying to avoid because, like, everybody in the world has been talking about it, and I feel like it's a topic that's been talked about too much, and it's really – I don't think it's that serious. Like, obviously, a man was slapped on one of the biggest, you know, shows ever, award shows. But I don't see I don't think it's a big deal.

I think more people need to be smacked. I'm not saying that, you know, Will Smith was right to do it in that setting. But if he would have gone backstage and be like, hey, Mr. Rock, I don't like what you said. Smack right there across the cheek. I'm not saying that that Will Smith was right in this situation, but I don't think we can be the ones to say that, you know, how you feel in a situation, especially with your family. If you're, you know, looking to your left and your wife is giving you those death eyes and she's like, you better take care of it or there's going to be problems at home,

I'd definitely go and smack a man. No, but there's definitely repercussions for your actions. And, you know, whatever happens to Will Smith, I'd definitely go and smack a man. I mean, he's just going to have to deal with it, but I think in the moment, he did what he felt like he had to do. What is going on? Guys, there's like laughter happening behind the camera. What's going on? What do we need to talk about? Now, come here. Come here. Before we get into the full-length episode and where you see a fiery debate between me and Cam, I want to tell y'all about, you know, some fan interactions I've had. Because all this, like, fan, like, people coming up to me is, like, new.

And it's, like, kind of strange to me that people are, like, excited to see me. But, you know, I love it and I really appreciate it. Like, it makes my day every time and it's never like oh I have to do this like I think I could be like this podcast and grow a hundred times more and I will never get tired of that you know sometimes the fan interactions just they don't go you know as planned uh I was literally this weekend when I came back to Austin I was at the domain if you're from Austin you know what the domain it's like an outdoor shopping center and I was going through some clothes as one does, going through the rag, just, you know, doing my thing hoodie. I like that hoodie. I might wear it,

probably won't buy it. And all of a sudden somebody comes from the rear, really peripheral kind of thing. Couldn't really see him. There's a moving object coming and they're like, hey man, I'm a fan of your podcast. I really like your work I was like oh thank you this man looks at me and he says you should have stuck with basketball though why would you say that to me like what yeah okay all right all right uh and you know I was I was a decent player but like I'm way better at this you know podcasting thing than I was at basketball but yeah no that was uh that was a tough situation. And, you know, I know I was out at a club for South by Southwest, and I know I told a South by Southwest story, like, on the first episode,

but I left this part out. You know, a couple of you guys that watch the videos came up to me and said, I love the podcast. Let's take this picture. Let's do that. I love it. Let's do it every single time. But, you know, if you're out at a club, you know, some people are drinking alcohol. It's a little

intoxicated environments. And, you know, I was walking down the street and about to enter a club as one does. And from the rear, from behind, the attacks always happen from behind. And this dude was like, I could have sworn I've seen you on TikTok before. And I was like, he has to be talking about me because, you know, that's what I do. I'm the TikTok guy. I turn around to him, hit him with a hey. That's when he knew it was me. He goes, oh, my God, runs up to me, gets me in like a full-length fucking chokehold. I was about to, like, pass out immediately.

And he's like, I love your videos. I love your videos. I was like, all right all right man my fucking neck and uh i hope i hope you're not watching this if you did that i know you know alcohol was influenced in that uh in that situation but um yeah uh i love meeting y'all so anytime y'all see me in person please say hi it makes my day more than it makes yours i promise you but uh i think it's a good time to uh get into the rest of the episode is there anything else i should talk about enjoy the rest of the podcast it's a good one uh that's how i'm gonna end it see you there you should know podcast uh oh we got cam

I know Cam's here a lot, and we love him, but there's some NBA players that have been DMing me

and been like, I want to be on the show. There's some actors, musicians, and stuff So it's going to be really exciting. And if I really want y'all to be there too, it'd be funny, but that's enough talking about y'all because you know what I'm saying? But, um, I need to be vulnerable real quick, man. Is that okay? Again with your vulnerability. Yeah. Uh, go for it. I, uh, being vulnerable, I, and now it sounds like I'm like a confessional yeah like what are we a right now what's going on it's like hey my name's payton and i am lonely i pay everybody um no i do i do a lot of things alone like i am alone all i do a lot of things alone and i don't

like how there's a stigma on doing things alone like I'll go to the movies alone I eat alone I go on walks alone I do everything alone and just the other day I was sitting alone at this park like right by the studio and just chilling on my phone just taking in the scenery and this woman comes up to me and she pats me on my back she goes are you okay son I was like get away from me I mean Gladys I'm fine it was unbelievable i'm like the same day i called you yeah and it was unbelievable because i'm like is this weird like why is it why are people why do you feel comfortable it's like do i look strange sitting alone and i'll go to the movie theaters alone and like i'll i'll tell people okay i'm about to go to the movies and like oh with who i'm like peyton like i'm by myself i'll sit at restaurants alone and then the waiter will be like hey uh

should i bring out another glass of water i'm like i'll take another one i do drink water pretty fast yeah just me though it's like just me no but i'm a i'm a very alone type of person do you agree with that dude like i just said i caught so i called him the other day just to chop it up he answers i guess that was the same day was that the same day i've been probably i'm alone a lot so i can't tell you i call him facetime him he answered it just wilderness i was like where are you like what's going on there's like trees and birds flying over him like dogs in the background i'm like are you just by yourself in a park right now he's like yeah dude yeah it's like all right anyway uh i just went on about it i'm like like i me being me not doing that if i'm alone i'm just gonna be alone and probably in air conditioning and just by myself no i have like a 2 p.m walk yeah that's good like props to you honestly like sunlight and a lot of

people when they like meet me in public like fans of this like a lot of people when they meet me in public like fans of the show i'll just be like walking alone in the mall and i know they're probably like oh this guy isn't lying about being awkward i'll go to the mall all the time and just walk around like the old people go in the morning and they like do their like fitness walk to the mall. I'm right there with them. Right there by Marvin. Yeah, literally. And Eugene just taking a walk with their Walkmans. But no, but since we're being vulnerable,

I got another thing that I do that's weird. And I don't know if anybody else watching the show or if y'all like have the same problem. I have a hard time walking in front of people, like walking in public. What? I can't walk in public i i fail 100 of the time what do you mean you fail my knee gives out like you trip no my right knee it's

always the right knee gives out i'll give a buckle every time i walk i'm about to show you this is exactly if i'm walking in like a crowd of people i cannot do it it's like the most anxious moment of my life i'll go exactly like this What it is unbelievable, I can't do it and something especially when I'm walking on sidewalks And there's traffic coming the other direction I get dizzy What Why Why is the traffic? Why is anything affecting your walk? I don't know. It makes me dizzy. And I was like, I'd agree with that. If you were walking and just staring at the traffic, that's one thing you might run into a pole, but it's like, I don't, I don't get how

you're dizzy. I don't know. It's just like when I see cars coming by me and I'm walking and they're going the other direction I just like I don't know if I vertigo or I'm just crazy, but And and like I know other people experience this like if you're walking like say downtown and I get their skyscrapers around you look up You fall. Oh, okay. I've never fallen I fall but Bro, if you fall honest quick side note, I've always had this standpoint if you trip you're irresponsible I think if a trip is the most irresponsible thing a person can do Oh, no, seriously, like if someone trips and it's not forced like no one else did the little kick you're like little Scoot and can you know like when you're behind someone and you catch their back leg and just give them a good little and they're like oh and they fall if

someone didn't trip you and you're just falling like just think about that you can't go left right left right to your location without like if you fall or trip or like fall off a curb or anything of that that's just you not being responsible i truly believe that i don't know if y'all agree and you can call me crazy but and there's i made a tiktok about this but like that's kind of the same thing as like losing to inanimate objects i hate losing to inanimate like if i can't like that is my biggest pet peeve ever i can't if i can't twist something open it's like why are you winning this battle if a computer's not doing what i say to do you're wrong yeah i'm right computers i give somewhat credit you know they got a brain they got a little processor that's computer no no we're the

most complex beings on this planet we should win 100 but let a let a kitchen cabinet not open i'm gonna lose it let let a door of some sort get stuck a jar not open what like those things blow my mind every day just every and it happens all the time and i guess i don't know lack of patience you can call it whatever but i will lose it if that happens like it's it's awful 100 there's uh kind of switching topics this is very random i just looked at my notes but um there is a when we were roommates we would have debates all the time like we would just like because we're kind of we're similar people yeah and so but we're debates we're similar people but we view things differently yeah and i didn't even tell you about this but we're gonna there's I don't know if you remember this our freshman year I don't have too many L's

against this guy so let's uh okay okay what's the count I'm guessing like 114 like maybe nine that's what I'd call it no I'm under 500 right now but yeah I'm still you know it's friendly debates but this one I feel like I'm gonna win go for it one of the biggest debates me and cam had was is love a choice and i'm saying love is a hundred percent not a choice like that is that sickens me when i hear love is a choice and this is not to get all oh but like love one like love is a choice nope okay i'm. I'm going to give my stance and then you give yours. Okay. Love is not a choice because when I, I cannot choose to love my mother.

There's not, my mom could go on a rampage and do the most awful, heinous things in the world. She never will because she's an angel of a woman, but my mom could go do the craziest, foulest things in the world. I will love her at the end of the day, but not by like i can't help it that's always my mom i can't help but love her and and even this like there's like oh god there's like girlfriends that i've had and even like if i want to hate them like i i could they do bad things whatever I want to hate them I can't like there's still something in me is like I will do whatever for that person so just because I love

them and I can't choose not to and you might be oh you're just a weak individual this is gonna be one of the easiest dubs I've ever caught just watch no but I can't love is not a choice I'm in circumstances yes like and that's not I feel like that's not real love if you can choose to the easiest dub i've caught here we go so you can choose to love your mother one okay when you choose to love or when you not you also have to think can you not choose to love someone yes that's a dub wait wait we'll see you on the next no i'm saying like i can fall in love with somebody but listen hold on i can fall in choose to not love somebody you can it's you just you right there just destroyed your own argument because if you can choose i know not love you can that

means love is a choice because you're choosing to not love someone no that's not what i thought you meant like falling in love and so can I choose to not fall in love? I can't. You said it right. You just don't want to lose. No, I swear to God. I just heard you wrong. So look, so basically that's your case.

Like your mom is a saint. We all know this. You're going to love her forever. Right. Other people don't have that luxury. They choose not just because you, so you mean to tell me there's no one on this earth that just doesn't love their mom?

What does that have to do with anything? they're choosing not to love their mom because of things they've done you have a great parent you have great situation around you i'm saying i'm not saying that you didn't think about that or whatever but like you got to think that standpoint there's people that crazy things have happened to them i'm just using the mom one first the girlfriend one's super easy super easy if you can choose to love and choose not to love and why aren't they still your girlfriend right now you chose not to love him at one point well that's super we're not gonna no no no so your fiance oh i'm about to put you on the hot seat oh yes go oh so cam's about to get married first of all congratulations your fiance oh i know she's watching this too can you

choose tomorrow to not love your fiance 100 you can wake up because love is a choice you have to make every day she agrees with me you have to because if love is not a choice no if love is not a choice then it's not as powerful as it is love is not love by love not being a choice if you can't choose who you love if you can't choose then it's it should not be romanticized it should not be this thing that we hold on the highest of all pedestals. Love is 100% a choice. You have to wake up and choose to love somebody. You have to wake up and choose to deal with their pet peeves that you don't like.

You have to choose everything about them that just drives you the wrong way to accept it. I could evolve to it. No, no, no. Okay. Relate to it and be there. I rebuttal to that. I could dislike a person and dislike everything they do or have done. And I internally,

I will still love them. Not because like, I there's people again, that's you. There's people that have been so hurt that they can literally, I haven't, I don't have it. Okay.

That all that does, that doesn't prove the point that just says you might have a bigger heart or you have a quicker, like you don't hold resentment, but there are some people that literally if something happens to them they will not love no there's people on this earth and i'm not talking about any girlfriends or anything like friends anything that like have done bad things to me and i resent them like i'm like i will i'm fine never speaking to you in my life but i still like i have a love for that person. It's the same thing. That's you. That's like you telling me, if you can sit here and look me in the eyes and say everyone loves their mom on this earth, then you win. I'm not saying it.

You can't say that. Exactly. That's my point. You cannot tell me right now. Because that's literally like, regardless of that, you that you gotta think if love is not a choice then love is not like love it's not this amazing thing that people get to accept and endure and in search for in this life like you know so so you're saying your fiance and we know how much your fiance loves you and like it is like a lot she's like you're her everything which is how it should be you're

saying she can choose she can choose not to love you let's call her then you're gonna call i'm calling your fiancee we're calling cam's fiancee right now hello hey hey live you're on the you should know podcast right now and me and cam are having a debate um do you think you can choose to not love cam that i can choose to no no no no no no no no no time out time out let me finish live no let me finish you think you can choose to not love cam no thank you all right love you bye that's so unfair that's so i win she even answered she was like uh no call her back and say hey live is love a choice see what she says don't say anything else matter of fact give me the phone you got no no no no you got to do what i get to do come on okay sorry um it cut out

um answer my question babe answer my question is love a choice yes wait so you think you can choose how wording happens keep going i do wake up every day because i feel like you choose to love someone you can't just get like obviously you love someone but when you choosing to love someone every day is when you wake up you know you support them you love them each and every day that's like choosing to love them and some people can show love a whole different way They can just be like yeah, I love you and then do whatever the hell they want. She's not the best at explaining things Yeah, it makes sense. But Anyway, I just beat your fiance in a in a debate. So he knows he lost love you babe. I love you. Bye. Bye

What I say easy, but she said two different things. Because you basically threw her a bone that says no, not a choice. You said, can you wake up and choose to not love? It is a monitor. Listen. But it is a TV. The actual construction of this is a... What the hell just happened? It literally said, keep calling me a calling me monitor i'm gonna just cut off on your ass okay we'll keep it like that straight up appreciate it the actual thing that this is is a monitor that displays television listen if you if you plug in your ps4 to that is that still a tv

or is it a monitor it's it's it's displaying your ps4 right you're not watching television that's a monitor no yeah what is that this is displaying us is it playing i cannot get tv on that i cannot get tv on that right now there's a monitor right now because you don't have to plug this for coax cable so you so okay so so this is the coax table table is the coax cable that's plugged into the antenna is that the actual tv or is that little device that displays it the TV? It's that. If we take your PS4 and we HDMI it to your laptop. Okay, regardless of. No, no, we're displaying your PlayStation on the laptop.

Regardless. So now it's not a laptop? Regardless of anything. Just cause it's a screen, it's a monitor of course. Regardless of anything, nothing needs to be plugged into this. Oh Lord. Listen, nothing needs to be plugged into this

and it'll be a monitor.
