on netflix that's a remake of a movie. So this is what they're doing because no one can come up with original content anymore. They're just remaking movies into TV shows. So that's where we're at. Yeah. This one's on Paramount plus, which I love Paramount plus.

She plays the psycho woman that he has an affair with in this movie i think she does a great job my mom has a different opinion she didn't love it but um i binged it i watched it so fast i loved it it's not i wouldn't call it a thriller in the same way that the movie was a thriller but it's it's a very good show i feel like you'd really like it this is probably i'm like i'm not i'm not a great thriller person it's not really though the movie was okay this one's not i mean the girl's psycho for sure but it's not

as not scary it's because the other one's not scary but it's just not as intense as the movie was. Look, Paramount Plus is just like another one of those that I have to get. And it's just a lot. You know, people really loved that show and it just didn't hit for me.

That's one that I don't watch. Oh my god, I hate that. But I bet the YFTS do watch it. So if you

have anything to say about Love Island, I bet they would very much appreciate it. Wells and I don't talk about that show much. Okay, yeah. So I, I think Love Island is the absolute best. And it's, it's one of those shows, Bran, that it's out every night. Like there's an episode every single night. And so they do that. I don't know. So the like the end of the season, I will have watched like, I don't know, 54 episodes of a TV show. And like, I buy this VPN, I think it's like $100 a year so that I can watch it like I'm in the UK. And it's literally consumes me like every night. I'm like, guys, I gotta go watch Love Island on my stupid phone. But it's just so good. It's like Bachelor in Paradise, but better. It's just so and the UK version is so great because they have all these

like they have all these funny little sayings that I'm trying to like bring into my life these like British British slang yeah yeah and it's so fun like what do they say um I'm buzzing when they're excited they're like oh I'm buzzing um but it doesn't sound as good in the American accent no of course I'm buzzing doesn't hit right not nearly as good but I love Love Island UK um too hot to handle just started back up again I love that one love it I haven't started it's is it still on Netflix it is I couldn't find it I tried to look for it last night and couldn't find it yeah it's it's on and they only have the first I think it's like three episodes right now that they have live

and there's more coming out on like the 21st or whatever so they just started doing episodes like batching episodes that way I feel like in the last year or so because too hot to handle the first season I think it all came out at once it was and i watched it in like two days same i love it it's my favorite dating show yeah um it's just so trashy that it's so good you know like the bachelor and bachelorette it's just too real in the sense of like everyone acts like they're so mortified people are there for the wrong reasons i'm like bitch everyone's there to be on tv like let's stop playing this game of like i can't believe you're not you're not ready for marriage like it's too much like we're done with that at least i'm too out to

handle everyone is so upfront about like i'm here to have a lot of sex i'm here to be on the beach paid vacation like everyone just owns it And I really like that about it. I'm just so curious. Like my brother-in-law was asking me like, well, how do people not know that this is the premise? And I'm like, every year, these people are cast thinking that they're going on some dating show. you watched the first season of ultimatum um with like you know straight couples I think I did yeah yeah where it's like they they kind of switch off and try to find like, no one fell in love and like was going to leave their partner. Whereas with this one, it was like, the people that you end up in like that short test relationship with there was one girl like by the end of it that was like, I love her. Like you've known her for like, three weeks or whatever. And I was like, and I was like, that totally fits that stereotype that Chrishell was talking about of like, you know want to move in right away right away yeah but I just thought all the couples were so great and like dynamic and fun I'll have to watch that

and everyone was so hot on the show it's like oh my god everyone's just hot everyone's just hot these days that's how it goes but yeah that was a good one did you watch silo no oh my god it's so good where is it uh it's apple plus okay do you have apple plus i do okay good good because they do great shows apple tv is that what that is yeah there's a different thing i can't keep up with apple plus i don't know kind of it's all the same it's same. Oh, you know what I'm so jazzed about coming back is The Morning Show. Oh, when does that come back? It's like this month or something. Oh, I love that show.

And it's gonna be like circus. And I really wanted to be the bearded lady. Oh, that's very on brand for you. Very on brand for me. I know you're in New York though. Well, Friday night. So Friday the 27th, I play New York. Okay.

And then I come right back home Saturday. So if their party is Saturday night, I could definitely go to that. I believe it is. That's when most people do Halloween parties is a Saturday night. So we could do Friday night at your gig and then fly down to Nash exactly. Farnham and Brandy. That's hilarious. I'm telling you, it's one of the best it's like my mom's neighborhood, these two guys like our age that have a house there. And they throw, you know, like like they're exactly the same as you,

like the holiday that they love is Halloween. I fucking love it. And they throw, I know, and they throw down. Yeah. I mean, it's just the best. Yeah. And I was like, I was cute last year. I did the whole like Lizzie McGuire thing. So this year I have to go back to my, my bread and butter is like the bearded lady I mean I'm never gonna be better than um Mrs. Doubtfire that one's amazing for the rest of my life that'll be my best ever you were a good Khaleesi though I did do a good Khaleesi you were a great Khaleesi so are you thinking you'll do one costume on Friday night and one on Saturday right so what are you gonna do for somewhere nowhere I have no idea I haven't even thought about it, which is crazy. Like it has to be

something like clubby and cute. Right. Like, I don't think I can be that, you know, I know it's tough to do like a lot of makeup and stuff if I'm playing and it's all sweats off. Oh, I know. You know, I'm going to be standing behind you the whole time doing this. You know? Oh, yeah. It's too good. That'll be a good Halloween show, though. New York will be so fun. So good.

I mean, trying very hard here. Nobody loves being in bed by 9pm more than me. But Oh, I know that. Do I ever I just keep telling myself like I just keep thinking to myself and telling myself that in 10 years, I'm gonna like wish I had said yes. Like if I don't say yes. Now in 10 years, I'm going to kick myself for it. in 10 years, I will be in bed by 9 p.m. every day. And I just, I don't know. I just feel like right now I'm in my yes era too. I agree with you.

And he's like, how old are you? And I was like, I'm 31. And he was like, whoa. And I wasn't like offended or anything. And I was like, can you believe it's legal for people in their thirties to be here? And he was just like, yeah, that's wild. Wasted. He absolutely smashed. Oh my God. I was like 19. If someone's asking my age, then they're way too young because anybody of an appropriate age would know not to ask a woman her age. Just do not. And like, yeah, I wasn't like I had any, there was nothing in this conversation that was pressing for me. So I didn't mind it. But but i was just like i literally said to my friend i

was like that guy is not here legally there's no way no way i mean it's too easy to fake ids and things now i fake so much shit online i so you guys want to know something terrible i photoshop everything so like yeah i wear contacts and the fucking rules in this country are that you have to go get an eye exam every year. Why? My eyesight hasn't changed in years. Why should I spend $200 for someone to go and tell me that? I just Photoshop my prescription and send it in online and get contacts. It's just too easy. Yeah. Well, that's like, you know, me, I've been on Wellbutrin, my antidepressant for like seven years. And like, I have to see a psychiatrist to get a new script, like every three months. You photoshopped that shit or what?

just like to do something you know like on a Monday night you're like you're done with work and you're the whole pushing it back an hour has been rough I think like starting a show like ending a show at 11 is just a lot different than ending it at 10. I agree. But I actually, I think Charity is really great. I'm enjoying watching her and she's so pretty. And I think she has a really good cast. So I actually think that the season has been, has been good. I think overall though, like what I'm liking about, you know, what I'm liking about, you know, too hot to handle and love Island and stuff is that you're, you're one it's, it's less couples up front. Right. So it's love Island is probably like 12 people in there. And, you know, they're rotating people through, I think probably, uh, too hot to

handle. I just wish that like, there was just less people. Yeah. And then it was like, you know, as having lived it and like seeing little quotes about, like, I need some time. I need time and blah, blah, blah. Why don't they just like start with like 15? Like, why does it have to be 29 or 30? I don't know. And then, then we maybe get to see more like development, I guess.

Because that's what I love about Love Island. And granted, there's an episode at night. So there's like more time for content. But like these people come out and it would actually make sense that they're like in a relationship because they've spent so much time together. Yeah. And that was something I was thinking about the other day. that they're like in a relationship because they've spent so much time together um yeah and that was something i was thinking about the other day if i'm gonna actually like continue to sort of like this show right i mean that's my record paradise is less people and they and they cycled them out which i think is helpful i think because i think people get that well and paradise is so

different because they get to spend so much more time together um but it always makes me so sad on the bachelor and bachelorette there's always a point in the season like three or four episodes in where a couple people get sent home that were never really given a shot and there's usually some like like this this time i felt like there were two like really great guys that just weren't given a chance. Totally agree. And they were clearly upset about not being given the chance and went home. And it's just so sad. No, I completely agree. Yeah. Again, like as someone who lived it, like you can have great people in there that just

one or maybe not like dominant enough personality to like go for it or whatever. And that's the thing. Like maybe the person that's the thing, like, maybe the person that's in there that could be for you is maybe like shy around the cameras or like, doesn't want to stay up all night. And the recent episode with like Warwick, I think his name is where he was like, I'm really tired. It was literally totally understood. I mean, because I was like, I was tired the whole time and like, felt like I was literally going insane and obviously not showing who I was because I was exhausted. Um, so yeah, I don't know. I agree with that. That guy though. See, I'm like, this is, I had a question. I'm like charity.

Why are we giving this guy a chance to early on when there's these other great guys that you're not really paying attention to this, that guy I'm sorry have you ever had a girlfriend before like is there are there is there any sexual energy coming from you at all like my thing with him I honestly this was my theory I was telling my sister like I think he on his date realized he didn't like her. And he just like was having a really hard time showing any interest. That's how I maybe I kind of feel like it almost seemed to me like he didn't even really know what he was doing there. Well, probably it's almost like somebody signed him up. He got on the show and it was kind of like he didn't even really know what he was doing there the whole time.

I just remember like when the cast originally came out like obviously i would love more asian representation on the show and he is a very attractive guy so everyone's like warwick warwick and then it was kind of like i know it's like we get excited about people before the show starts kind of thing and then it's like right um do you have any favorites or front runners i feel like everyone has the same one who and it's joey he's not mine i don't know i also like aaron b a lot i like her her hollywood date guy i think they're very well aaron b he was, he was a football player. I don't know.

At all. Um, and I joined this website called net galley and E T G A L L U Y. And basically, um, publishers and authors promote like new releases or like future releases early on. So you join this like connection of people,

you'll, if you have a Kindle, they'll send you, you have to apply and like build up your review ranking or whatever, but they'll send you advanced copies of books so that when a book comes out, there's already like a ton of reviews and buzz about it. But the books are free and you're getting like, legit authors and like cool titles and stuff. So that's my tip about reading. For the for the big readers out there, if you're still supporting authors, even if you're not paying for the books, because reviews are important, too. And yeah, you get them for free. What's it called again? I'm like a reading maniac. It's called Net Galley. Net Galley.

And they have all sorts of genres. Like, you know, my favorite is like historical fiction, World War II. They have a ton of those, but they also have like, you know, the young adult romance, like self-help, autobiographies, everything. It's so cool. It's like my

favorite little thing. And then you just write a review. You have to write a review to build up your ranking so that you get more books that are like, you know, the buzz books or whatever. So that's my book. Love it. Let me here, I'm going to flip this around let me search through my goodreads goodreads and i can say yeah i'm on goodreads everyone i think my thing is just olivia caridi and i share all of my books um that i'm reading right now let me go to my reading challenge. And like, obviously there's hyperbole involved but like how accurate kind of it was to my experience and this one was fun too because you're learning about like how they do the housewives which is obviously like a totally different beast um but yeah most hated by Kara Alloway I thought was really fun and like obviously they had a villain and they had this and so my review was all like I was the villain totally related to like everything it was a good book so that's like a quick fun read but yeah look at my good reads like it's all on there I don't think I'm 2023 I've read anything that was just like oh my god outstanding can't put it

yeah sure i think he's fine for me when i read the book i always pictured theo james but i'm obsessed with him like i just think he would have made such a great ryle so i of course i'm like in this corner of tiktok where i get all these fucking videos about, you know, everyone's outrage and who they would have rather been had cast and the outfits they would have rather chosen for Lily. Right. The outfits. And a lot of I've seen a lot of people say that they they wanted Theo James for the role of Ryle. To be I have seen that I could I couldn't mention it because, of course, I couldn't remember his name. But but yeah, I remember seeing that, too, and course, I couldn't remember his name. But yeah, I remember seeing that too and thinking, oh, what a missed opportunity.

But maybe he's just like, maybe he's too big now. Maybe. I also think just the way they cast Atlas, which, I mean, the YFTers know my love for Brandon Sklenar is off the charts. So I love that casting. Like, that just is a dream come true for me so I I think having Justin play Ryle there there's a stark difference in those characters looks their vibes all of it and I think maybe a Theo James would have been too similar of a casting than whoever they had really wanted for Alice um so I could see that so like yeah I don't I don't really I'm not familiar with a lot of Justin's stuff I could see that. So like, yeah, I don't, I don't really, I'm not familiar with a lot of Justin stuff.

I, so I'm hoping like he, maybe he'll kill it. I don't know, but I have a feeling that they just wanted his look maybe to be super dark because he's a dark character and like that kind of reflects that. Whereas Theo, he really doesn't like look that way,

but, but he plays a dark character very well so yeah he's not as like brooding or like stormy yeah he kind of can be sometimes though i don't know i just i love him though he's always been one of my favorites it's so he's so hot i mean ever since divergent like see you later same so hot yeah i never realized how important casting is until, like, recently. I went to see The Little Mermaid. Oh, I haven't seen that yet. I loved it.

Thought, like, of course, I can't remember anyone's name, but I thought Ariel was perfect. Loved her. I thought The Prince was a really kind of strange choice. Like he's like this new guy on the scene. And I read something that, cause it's, you know, it's like a musical obviously.

And they added a song for him that was like this, like melodramatic. See, he's on the scene. He misses Ariel song. And it was was like he had never sang before or something like that like they had to train him and i was like then why don't just get someone that can sing like it was weird and then i thought king triton's casting was like so interesting to me i'll have to watch it and i was like yeah no yeah, no, it was really good. I mean, look, like, it's a Disney

movie, right? Like, a bunch of people in the theater were laughing. I don't know if they were, like, they took shrooms or something and they all thought everything was funny. But there was a lot of laughter going on. And of course, I was being like, stop laughing! But yeah, there's, like, certainly some cheesy

parts where, you know, but you have to remember it's a cheesy movie. It's gotta be cheesy. I'm supposed to go see Barbie on Tuesday. Okay, that was what I was just going to say. Are you going in LA or here or what? Yeah. So we'll see.

I love Margot Robbie more than anything. I think she's perfect for this. I know there's a lot of feelings to be had with people for the Ryan Gosling casting. Really? What have you heard? hang out with you for yeah we'll chill september's a great time to be in nashville great time because right now like i was just there for the fourth and it was bitching hot scorching um i have to go to las vegas on. That's the thing about Vegas though. Like it gets cold in the evening because of the desert vibes. So that'll be fine.
