Starting point is 00:00:00 All right, you guys, I feel like everyone's talking about colostrum, you know, in a world where, like, health is just so popular right now. I feel like this word's getting thrown around a lot, but I am a big fan of it, mostly because it's just so easy to implement into my routine. I have really fallen in love with cowboy colostrum. Cowboy colostrum takes a primal whole body approach to wellness with natural clean and built to work with your body, not against it. Colostrum is often called liquid gold. It's the first nutrition we get at birth. It's packed with immune factors, growth compounds, and nutrients that your body still craves today. And especially during seasonal changes, like right now, obviously I'm sick from it.
Starting point is 00:00:41 Your body's defenses can be run down. That's me. Those immune factors make all the difference. So I just started putting it in my smoothies every day. If you guys aren't big on smoothies, you can also mix it into your coffee or even just your milk. I think my gut is messed up. And I'm about to do a gut test to prove that. Colostrum was one of the first things, like, recommended to me for gut health.
Starting point is 00:01:01 So I'm really excited to implement this into my routine. For a limited time, our listeners get 25% off your entire order. Just head to Cowboy Colostrum.com and use code YFT at checkout. That's 25% off when you use code YFT at cowboy colostrum.com. After you purchase, they are going to ask you, where you heard about them, please tell them you heard it from us and support our show. Starting point is 00:03:22 It was my first time. It was very lovely. Yeah. I've been there before. Fancy, you know, when there's fancy. Did you get a gig there? I did. I had a gig there.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Is there young, cool, hip people in Greenwich, Connecticut? No, it was a corporate party, like end-of-year corporate event. Those pay good, though. Get that money, honey. Yeah, it was fun, though. And then Vegas was insane. So I've played shows during NFR for the past three years, but this was the first time I actually got to go to the rodeo and to Cowboy Christmas, Wells.
Starting point is 00:03:56 Cowboy Christmas is fucking amazing. What is Cowboy Christmas? Is it like Santa Claus, but he's got Cowboy Boots on? No, it is all of the best shopping. Anything to do with Western culture. Western apparel, boots, hats, jewelry, equipment for horses, saddles, tack, blankets, like just anything you could possibly think of. And then, and it's all at the Las Vegas Convention Center, which is fucking bad.
Starting point is 00:04:20 massive. And we spent four hours walking around the bottom floor. There were, I don't even know how many booths, four hours. And then it was time to go because we had a flight to catch. And then Matt was like, I just want to see upstairs really quick. And we go upstairs. The whole top floor is for like hunting, camping, horse trailers, side by sides, ATVs, like all the man things. And he was so pissed. He was like, you've got to be kidding me that for the past four hours. I followed you around looking at clothes and tack. And this was up here, all these guns and hunting equipment and man things. And I was like, yeah. So we ended up bumping our flight back to stay an extra hour and do all that. It was insane. Where was this in Vegas? Yeah, at the Las Vegas
Starting point is 00:05:04 Convention Center. Wow. I know. Two and a half weeks long that they do this. I'm going back next weekend. Really? To do another show. And I might have to hit Cowboy Christmas again. Dude. I loved it. man you know what i i wish everyone out there to have a nice cowboy christmas a very merry cowboy christmas it truly is like just the best time yeah cowboys everywhere that's nice you're coming to l.A. next week yeah yeah what are you going to be doing here well i'm playing a show in Vegas on okay 13th yep yep yep so i got all the way back and then i um i'm skip i'm not doing christmas out there oh okay yeah so i'm coming next week to do like a little pre-christmas
Starting point is 00:05:47 You know, spend the week. Shoot some Cyrus Iris episodes because I've been sitting a few out. My mom's been doing some without me. And she actually does. She's actually been killing it. I figured I'd show up, you know, for a few having a little pre-Christmas. And then coming home for 12 hours and then flying to Miami. And they just announced today I'm playing at Palm Tree Club in Miami on the 20th.
Starting point is 00:06:10 It's a Paris, Texas pop up. But I'm opening for side piece. And they're one of my favorite DJs. So it should be pretty cool. Nice. You got a lot of work here at the end of the year. I really did. I think I've worked more in December than I have in the past three months.
Starting point is 00:06:23 That's interesting. I mean, that's not usually how it works in the entertainment industry. It's not, but your girl's booked and busy. So are you. We're just booked and busy. I know, I know. So great for us. I went over to the new studio for the golf, the TV show that I'm doing for the golf channel.
Starting point is 00:06:39 Oh my God, it's amazing. It's so cool, really professional. I'm really proud of it. That's exciting. I know, really pumped. You're going to be a commuter. I know. I got to go to Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:06:49 I got to go to La Brea. That's not that far. It's really not actually. I came back, you know, it's 541 right now. And I came back at like 5 o'clock and I still got home in like 30 minutes. So it could be worse. Yeah. What do you get in your family for Christmas?
Starting point is 00:07:06 We don't do gifts anymore. You don't do that. But you guys all have so much money that you should be giving amazing gifts. The problem is though, like no one in my family needs anything. thing. I know. And everyone's like really hard to shop for, you know. And it's just, there's just so many of us. It's really, it's just difficult. And so for a couple of years, we tried to do the like white elephant thing where you just buy for one person and then swap around. And that didn't go well because like two people bought really cool gifts and the rest of us bought shitty gifts. I bought a
Starting point is 00:07:37 cool gift, obviously. I think I bought like a Theragun or something. It was when they first came out. And so everyone just wanted the two gifts. And then the people. that got the shitty gifts were pissed. So we didn't do that anymore. And now I just think we don't do gifts, you know. You know, like my mother-in-law texts me and she was like, okay, because I'm going to be in New York for Christmas. And she said, okay, what do you want?
Starting point is 00:07:57 You know, I want to get you a gift. And I was like, no, I don't, I need nothing. I literally need nothing. I also don't want to go to New York and then get a gift that I have to transport back, you know? Totally. I keep on doing this. I did this my mom as well being like, let's do this. I won't get you anything.
Starting point is 00:08:14 if you don't get me anything, and then we're good. But no one's going to do that. No, parents especially, they're like, that's not fun. I know. Lose my hands up my mom says. I was just like, get me golf balls, I guess. Those will get in my bag pretty easily, I guess. I don't even, wouldn't even know what to ask for, I guess.
Starting point is 00:08:31 Yeah. Really. We're closing down the year. It's rapidly approaching. What are you doing for New Year's? Absolutely nothing. And I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm amazed you're not working New Year's.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Me too. It's literally the first time in 10 years I have not had to work on New Year's Eve. Is it because you weren't booked or because you were like, I don't want to do it? I was just a little bit picky about traveling. I only wanted to do it if it was somewhere close. So I just, it just didn't work out. So what are you guys going to do? I think we're just going to go have a nice dinner at one of our favorite spots here
Starting point is 00:09:01 and then come home and go to sleep. What's one of your favorite spots there? Have you been to South Hall yet? No. It's this really gorgeous hotel like a destination type hotel here in Leepers Fork. which is just down the street from where I live and they have their beautiful hotel but they have a great spa that people go to
Starting point is 00:09:21 just to do a spa day and then they have a couple of amazing restaurants and it's I think Sojourner is the one we like yeah and then the other one's called January it's a little fancier. Highly recommend if you're coming to Nashville and you're coming out into Franklin Leeper's Fork at all and you want to do like a little bit of like a destination thing
Starting point is 00:09:41 staying in I at South Hall is so great and it's so nice. Awesome. Beautiful. And so, yeah, we're going to go there. And, um, I don't know. No plans, which is so nice. Nice.
Starting point is 00:09:52 What are you going to do? I'm going to be New York. So I guess, I think Sarah's got like, gigs, you know, got shows those nights. So I don't know if we're doing anything. Well, you're going to go to her show, obviously. No. I've seen the show.
Starting point is 00:10:03 So it's New Year's Eve. And she's going to be kissing someone else on New Year's Eve. How dare she? Jonathan Groff. Yeah, I don't know. But New York is fun for New Year's. I mean, it's, but it's not, though, but it is. But I've done it once and it was like, this is too much.
Starting point is 00:10:19 This is a lot. Truly, there's like a nice rooftop you can go enjoy. Totally. Or just some little divey bar, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Totally. New Year's is one of those things where, like, it's so overhyped.
Starting point is 00:10:33 Yeah. Like, I feel like people build it up to be this incredible night and it's usually not it. Not. Yeah. You know what I mean? Yeah. You either, you go to some party. that you pay like $300 for and it takes forever to get drinks and it's just like,
Starting point is 00:10:47 whatever, it's kind of lame. I know. Yeah. And the traffic is gnarly on your Eve. It takes you forever to get home. I don't know. I think it was last year we went to Tahoe with like Clem Powell and Cordova Street and Tannenoff. And that was fun because we were just like, we were snowed in and we were just like, let's just get drunk.
Starting point is 00:11:09 And I made a big. That sounds fun. Yeah. Now, if I, if I could do any. Anything. If I was going to take a trip and I could go anywhere, I think I'd do Aspen for New Year's Eve. Oh, no, I lied. We did Whistler last year. Oh, that sounds nice too. Yeah, Whistler is lovely. But to be honest with you, Tahoe is much easier and it looks the exact same to me.
Starting point is 00:11:28 I could see that. Speaking of Glenn Powell, he's been in the tabloids a lot. Yeah. He's dating. Looks like he's got a new little lady. Which one are you talking about? Because I've seen a few. The girl from Taylor Sheridan show. Yeah, Michelle Randolph. Michelle, yeah, the sister of the girl that was on The Bachelor. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, so I saw first that he was seen out with Michelle.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Uh-huh. And then I saw something yesterday that said he's been out with Megan Maroni. Oh. The singer? Yeah. Wow. Well. Your boy's just making the rounds with the blondes.
Starting point is 00:12:00 I mean, he is maybe one of the biggest movie stars right now. So, you know, get it. Get it while the getting's good. Yes. Glenn? If he married Michelle Randolph, they would have the most gorgeous children. Yeah. Do you not think?
Starting point is 00:12:16 Well, I think that she could marry Clausimoto and they would still have a good looking kids. She could literally marry anyone and their kids would be gorgeous. But like if she and Glenn Powell had a baby, holy shit, it would be the prettiest child to ever live. I'll text him and say, hey, listen, Brandy wants you to procreate with this woman. I think she, I think they should. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Did we shut the show? Yeah. Bros and hos. You're listening to your favorite thing podcast with. Wells and Brandy. The holidays are right around the corner and I've got a great gift idea for you. I'm talking about Story Worth. This comes out on Wednesday the 11th. Well, don't let me forget on our Christmas episode to do bros and ho-ho-hoes because that would be a missed opportunity to not, you know. Yeah, that would be good. I can't look how I've done that before, actually. No. Have we done that?
Starting point is 00:17:12 Surely we have. I think so. I just thought of it, and it just was genius. Have you been kept up to speed with Billy McFarlane's new Firefest? No. Oh my God, Brandy. I'm also slightly sad that you weren't drafted. On the lineup? Yes, to be in Billy McFarland's FireFest 2.0,
Starting point is 00:17:33 which is actually called Phoenix Fest. Oh, is it in Phoenix? No, it's off of Honduras, off of the island of Utila. Okay. He has this little island, and like every day I've been watching his TikToks of like, this is who we're going to have.
Starting point is 00:17:48 French Montana was the headliner. Okay. Listen, he did it. He did have Fire Fest, Phoenix. It was rising from the ashes. But was it a total dumpster fire? Oh, yes. Let me just show you some of the things.
Starting point is 00:18:04 Did French Montana actually show up? Obviously. Yes, French Montana did show up, surprisingly enough. Fascinating. He must debate him a lot. He was selling pay-per-view. So if you couldn't make it down to Yatilla, you could watch the pay-per-view.
Starting point is 00:18:19 By the way, I've been watching it so intently that people are watching how many people are watching it, the pay-per-view. I think it tapped out like 59 people are watching it, which is absolutely amazing. So anyways, this guy, I don't know who he is, But this guy is like the host of the thing, right? Okay.
Starting point is 00:18:37 And this is just how it starts. Just, let's just watch it. Shut up, Billy, shout out Mike. Shout out all those guys. And then maybe, most importantly, hi, Amy. That's one of our sponsors. Thank you guys. They're out of Florida.
Starting point is 00:18:49 I got to meet the CEO. I got to meet the owner. Everything last night. Great guys. So thank you to all you people. Now, it's Todd. There's no one there. Festival. We got French Montana. We got Slim Jimmy. We got Bobby Shmurda. So we got Schmoney dances. We got Schmurda remixes. Everything you could imagine here at Phoenix Festival 2025. We are on Diamond Key. Diamond Key. Let me correct myself.
Starting point is 00:19:21 Bro. In Utila in Honduras. I do you not know where you're at. Look that up. You can see where we are. It didn't start out well. But we do have footage of of the first act, and I want to show you the first act and why I'm so upset that you weren't tapped for this because honestly, anyone would be better than this, but you really would be. Here we go. Opening act of Phoenix 2025.
Starting point is 00:19:49 I feel so real. No one's there. No one's there. One guy. Who's she's singing to? I feel it feeling so me. It gets better. You wanted a chance to enter this game.
Starting point is 00:20:30 Sorry to tire You're not gonna win So get on your knees I won't let you end Game over, start over You're not gonna win So pack your things Goodbye
Starting point is 00:20:46 Yeah, do it I'll shut that door tonight Oh no I won't let you in no more I won't let you Oh, anyways. What's that artist's name? I don't know.
Starting point is 00:21:04 And I don't even want to say it out loud because I feel like I made fun of her. But I want to say that I just hope that there weren't monitors going back at her. And that's why she couldn't hear how out of key she was. You know, anyways, it continued to get better. Tens of people showed up on this island. Oh, wow. And then at some point the power goes out. during French Montana set.
Starting point is 00:21:29 And that was a huge disaster as well. You got to give it to Billy McFarland. He did do it, but it was a nightmare, apparently. Yeah, he should probably not try to do this ever again. Why does he think this is going to be a thing? I don't know. Let Live Nation do it. They know they can figure this out, you know?
Starting point is 00:21:49 I don't know why you're doing it. Yeah. Yeah. Maybe there will be a documentary about this one. Oh, 100%. One can only hope. Speaking of documentaries. You got one for us?
Starting point is 00:22:01 You know, I've always liked Fitty. Oh. But I really like 50 Cent. Really? I think he is quite possibly the funniest motherfucker in the history of music. Okay. 50 Cent is so petty. He's had this beef with Puff Daddy for so long.
Starting point is 00:22:25 and 50 Cent has created this documentary on Netflix called Sean Combs The Reckoning. Have you watched any of this? No, but I love 50 Cent. Oh my God. Okay, he's not even in it. He's not even in it.
Starting point is 00:22:41 He's just the producer of this thing and he's been doing the entire press tour. He went on, he went and did a bunch of television interviews, but he especially wanted to do the ABC Cillic. see affiliate because that is aired in the jail where Puff Daddy is. This is how petty he is.
Starting point is 00:23:02 So he has all this footage. It always opens and closes with what he's in jail for, like what he's been convicted of and what he's in jail for. And then it's the documentary about all the other things that he should be in jail for, but he's not. And 50 Cent has somehow acquired all of this footage of Puff of Mr. Diddy, leading up to his trial because Puff Daddy is such a megalomaniac that he always had a camera crew with him at all times.
Starting point is 00:23:34 Okay. But the thing that's beautiful about it is he wouldn't pay these videographers. And so Fiddy said, bought it. Bought it. And has made this amazing documentary. It is so unhinged, so fucked up. And also, fuck, Puff Daddy. The freak-offs or whatever, the white parties, the, like, gallons of baby lotion, all that stuff.
Starting point is 00:24:03 That motherfucker. Baby oil, yeah. But that motherfucker, he orchestrated the killing of Tupac. I hear it, is it TV on behind you? It's fucking Matt. Oh. Matt. Matt.
Starting point is 00:24:15 He's deaf. One. Baby! Like, okay. Got to go shut the door. When I say that Matt is deaf. Yeah. Like, he's, it's very real.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Like, I'm not just exaggerating and I'm not just saying it. He cannot hear. Yeah, well, because he's been with motorcycle engines blaring in his years for years. It's really bad. Probably 82% of the time I'm talking to him and he doesn't hear anything I say. Yeah. Well, that's most men, I'm being honest. It's insane.
Starting point is 00:24:42 Anyway, so they do this whole interview with all these people that are around Puff Daddy's the circle and you find it like how he had this rise to fame and how he created bad boy record. and all this stuff. He and Notorious BIG were like, that was like the guy he discovered, but he was like jealous of his relationship with Tupac and then ends up basically putting a hit out on Tupac
Starting point is 00:25:04 because he was getting too close to his relationship and gets Keefe D to do it, which obviously sparks the whole thing of getting Biggie shot later. Everyone knows that he did it. Every interview is talking about like, yeah, we all know, like this is, we all know this. And then every episode ends with like,
Starting point is 00:25:20 this is why he's in jail. Not for killing Tupac, putting a million dollar hit out on Tupac and Shug Knight. Anyways, it's fascinating. Okay. I always love 50 Cent. Like, one of my favorite things that 50 Cent ever did was that he challenged Floyd Mayweather. They were doing like the ice bucket challenge. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:38 And he was like, I challenge Floyd Mayweather to read three sentences in a cat and a hat book. And if you do that, I'll donate a million dollars. Floyd can't read Anyways I thought that was unhinged But this is even better He went and bought all this footage And he's fucking made this documentary About this guy
Starting point is 00:26:00 He hates so much And it's just great Okay, wow Where do you watch this? Netflix Netflix I can't believe you're not watching it Well I'm gonna go watch it
Starting point is 00:26:13 It's fantastic Brandi I'm sure Matt will love to watch that Oh it's great I mean, you're in the industry. You like, you get it. Yeah, I'm into it. If you wanted to put a hit out on somebody, who would you kill? Oh, geez.
Starting point is 00:26:25 I wouldn't do that. R. Kelly. Let's kill that guy. Uh-huh. I don't think there's some people that we could do without. I mean, I just, who am I to say? Well, come and go. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:26:36 Yeah, fair enough. You got any favorite things? Because those are my favorite things. Oh, clearly. Those are so great. Yeah, your passion for that, really shown through, you know? Dude, I'm telling you if a decent is my Lord. savior. He is my spirit animal. He's amazing. You have to, you have to get on the side of
Starting point is 00:26:53 TikTok where it's just him going on these like talk shows and just the biggest smile in his face just being like, yeah, I hate this guy. And I want everyone to know how much I hate him. And this is what I've done. Like do you remember when, do you remember when 50 cent? He has a, he's a problem with like jaw rule. No, no. But so he found his friend told him. that jaw rule tickets were on Groupon so he went and bought the first four rows they were like as expensive
Starting point is 00:27:25 and he's like he was like no like $15 a seat it was like three grand so no one was in the front insane the best he is the he is unhinged did 50 cent go bankrupt once I don't think so I think the guy's awesome I don't know
Starting point is 00:27:42 let's look it up you know you dated Chelsea Handler yeah love that Yes, he did. Filed for Chapter 11. 50 Cent filed for bankruptcy on July 13, 2015, listing roughly 32.5 million in debt against 10 to 50 million in assets. Yes, but it was a strategic business move to recognize his finances rather than a sign that he was completely broke. He emerged from bankruptcy in 2017 after paying off his debts ahead of schedule and continue to build his business empire. He was buying too many friggin' draw rule tickets.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Dude, it's worth it, dude. Totally worth it. I think that's, I think Jarl rule is the guy who, who. Jarl rule was heavily involved in Fire Festival. Oh, I know. I interviewed him. Yeah. Did?
Starting point is 00:28:30 Yeah, I interviewed him. And he was like, I'll do it again. And I, but he wasn't, he wasn't a part of Billy McFarlane's Phoenix Fest, which is, which is just sad. Anyways, do you have any faith things? Yes, I started a new show. It's called The Beast in Me, I think. I think. Okay. It's on Netflix. Claire Daines, Britney Snow. So good. Listen, I know some, it's like Claire Daines is very polarizing. I think a lot of people love her. I think a lot of people don't like her as an actress. I personally love Claire Dane's. I think she's incredible. She's amazing in this. It is very heavily focused on her character. I would say she's on screen like 90% of the time. Britney Snow, so far, I'm two episodes in. So far, Britney Snow hasn't been on screen a whole lot, but I really like her character. And I have a few. feeling she's going to play a big role in this.
Starting point is 00:29:18 Also, Britney Snow. I need to know what her beauty secrets are because she looks fucking amazing. Author Aggie Wiggs, grieving the loss of her son, finds new purpose unraveling the mystery behind neighbor Niles Jarvis, vanished wife, and his suspicious dealings. The Beast in Me on Netflix. I am also watching this show. Oh, you are.
Starting point is 00:29:41 And I am further than you are in it. Are you? And it is fantastic. I love it. It's so good. I love it so far. What episode are you on? Do you know?
Starting point is 00:29:50 I'm probably like on four. Four. Okay. I'm pretty far in. Claire Daines, yes. I think she can be polarizing. She kind of overacts a little bit, but whatever. But the guy who plays Nile Jarvis, Matthew Rise, is so good.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Yeah. He is effectively like, kind of like Trump, but not really. He owns, his father started this huge, like, development company in New York. and he runs it. And his wife died. They never found the body. And a lot of people just assume that he is the murderer, but he was never convicted of it, right?
Starting point is 00:30:24 Right. He moves to the suburbs where he moves next door to Claire Daines. He's got a new wife, Britney Snow. He's got a new wife, Britney Snow, who you'll find out later, it was really good friends with the wife who passed. I found that out in episode two. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:38 And how it starts is that they live in like a nice wooded area and he is trying to get all the neighbors to agree to an easement, he's going to build a running path in the forest behind where all their houses are. And Claire Daines will not do it. So then he, like, befriends her effectively, trying to convince her to, like, let him do this because he's sick of running in the woods and getting mud on his shoes. Anyways, he's a character where you're like, I think you're a piece of shit. But I'm rooting for you? Are you?
Starting point is 00:31:08 It gets worse. Like, he is, I think he is a piece of shit. But you start, like, start to like him. I don't know. I really like him. Like, to be honest, with you, Claire Daines is the unlikable one in the thing. Like, she's hard to deal with.
Starting point is 00:31:24 And then B-Snow is fantastic. And anyways, it is very fun. Yeah, it's very good. Yes, the beast of me. I think the only other thing I have watched this week is catching up on Landman. Not a whole lot to say about it. I will say, I cannot remember the, the young Mexican girl that is now dating Cooper.
Starting point is 00:31:47 I can't remember her name. I liked her so much in season one. And she has become very unlikable to me in season two. Her character, not as an actress. Actors think she's great. Gorgeous, by the way. But all of a sudden,
Starting point is 00:31:58 I just like get out with her character, which is just so devastating because I really, really liked her last season. But other than that, I know I have a ton to say about it. Landman is so good. They've already renewed it for season three.
Starting point is 00:32:08 I just love it. My friend Andy Garcia's in it. Oh, I love that. Didn't know you guys were bud. Well, I played golf with them the other day. No big deal. Oh, if we play golf with them, we were just besties. Yeah, we have the same car.
Starting point is 00:32:20 You know, we have the same car. I didn't know. Have I told you the story of how I met Andy Garcia? I think you have. It was, so we were both members of the same golf club, and I had gotten a little too drunk at the golf club the night before, so I left my car there and I Ubered home. So I went back to get my car the next day.
Starting point is 00:32:38 I'm like in Ugs and a T-shirt, and I'm like hung over as hell. And I've got my land cruiser, and I pulled it up kind of like around the, there's like a kind of like little turnaround, you know, where you can ballet your car. And I was like getting my clubs to put in my car because I was going to play somewhere else the next day. Anyways, and all of a sudden, this white land cruiser, 1980s light land cruiser comes careening towards me. And I'm like, Jesus Christ, who is this? And all of a sudden, Andy Garcia jumps out of the front seat. And he's like, hey, nice land cruiser.
Starting point is 00:33:12 And I was like, yeah, and you too. And he's like, oh, and so he starts talking to me. Then he goes, hey, do you want to drive my land cruiser? And I'm like, uh, okay. And he's like, kind of drive your land cruiser. So then all of a sudden we started driving around the parking lot and each other's land cruisers. And that's how I became friends with Andy Garcia. Okay, I like that.
Starting point is 00:33:28 Yeah, we have land cruiser talk. We do. That's cute. I'll tell you what, that guy, that guy's got such good style. Does he? Oh, my God. It's all like. Is he good at golf?
Starting point is 00:33:38 Yeah, he is good. He's older. He's older. like crazy and he just has swag you know like his all his pants are tailored and like made for him he's always got like a cool hat on he's always smoking a cigar that guy's awesome he's the bad guy in landman though right yeah he is and i think i don't think he was in season one right or if he was he had a very small run now not at all but i think he's a big character in this season yeah love it yeah great show the end of the year is is upon us which means
Starting point is 00:34:12 New Year's is on the way, which means resolutions, which means I need to lose some weight, which means, yes, I've let myself go a little bit, which means I need to look good while working out, which means I've been rocking some fabletics. Starting point is 00:36:49 365 day returns quince dot com slash YFT there's a movie called trolls out that I haven't seen trolls like the cartoon no can I play the trailer uh sure by all means I don't know about this man that's a part of me that really wants to watch it oh boy tragedy strikes again as another troll attack shocks Norway let's go anyways you get the idea um it's like basically with the subtitles yeah i know it's well it's it's from norway but anyways it is effectively godz but it's it's the Norwegian Godzilla and they have trolls. Well, did you watch troll one? Apparently there was one.
Starting point is 00:37:42 No, I didn't. That said troll two. I don't know. I didn't see it. But I'm, I, do you think it looks good though? No. I don't think so either, but it looks like, it looks really well done though. Does it?
Starting point is 00:37:57 No, not really either actually at all. But I, no. But you know what? I'm going to watch. Give it a go? I'm going to give trolls a go. Are you going to watch troll one and two? Are you just going to skip straight to two?
Starting point is 00:38:09 I think I'm going to go straight to two. I mean, I feel like I know what's going on. It's a bunch of white people in Norway who have these giant trolls who are living on the mountainside and they're coming to kill you. Yep. Sounds pretty awesome to me. Okay. Well, let us know.
Starting point is 00:38:24 I'm going to keep you posted. Yeah. Yeah. That's all you got? That's all I got. Really? Yeah. Well, I had three things.
Starting point is 00:38:31 And one of the things was your thing. Well, does troll even count as a thing? No, it doesn't. No, I had Billy McFarland. I had Sean Combs and I had the beast in me. Sean Combs. Okay? Sean Combs, the reckoning.
Starting point is 00:38:44 Are you caught up on Sweet Empire? I can't say I'm caught up, no. Wasn't there an episode like today? Last night. Last night. Well, what's going on? You know, empires are crumbling all around. Last night we had a, uh, I made them make North Pole creatures.
Starting point is 00:39:02 So there was like a walrus. and there was an owl, and it was a, there was a bear, a polar bear. Pretty great. But there's only one episode left, so make sure you're watching that. But you can always just binge on HBO Max or on Discovery Plus. Does anyone have Discovery Plus? Is that a thing? I'm not sure, but if it's on HBO, why would you need Discovery Plus?
Starting point is 00:39:22 I don't know, but I'm just told that I got to say that when I promote it. Tomorrow, I get to wake up at 6.30 in the morning and go do press for it. Oh, no, actually, six, because I just started at 6.30. And your boy needs some coffee. So you can wake up at 6 and be there and ready at 6.30? In this from home. In this, from here, yes, I'll be wearing sweats. You can't see that part.
Starting point is 00:39:45 I'll put this shirt on. Yeah. What I do? That's what I'm doing. I've got sweats on. Yeah. You look comfy. Should we see if you've got voicemails?
Starting point is 00:39:52 Yeah, I think we should. This is favorite things from Texas. Hey, it's Allie. I'm currently sitting in car rider line. I'm in Houston, Texas. It feels like it's. 120 degrees out. Oh, geez.
Starting point is 00:40:05 And it's not my favorite thing. I'm sorry. But what is my favorite thing? Yeah. Is this podcast. Oh, thank you. And this new show, I just finished watching. It's called The Runaround.
Starting point is 00:40:14 Oh, The Runaround. It's really cool. You should check it out. I think you would both like it. And I know Brandy was just saying that she needed something to watch. So I think this is perfect. Eight episodes. It's on Prime.
Starting point is 00:40:28 And it's about this group of kids that just graduate high school. and they're trying to make it in this band and they have like all summer to make it and like lots of shenanigans a little like crazy Farfax a little cheesy but really fun it really reminds me of like those days of like late 90s early 2000s like thumb 41 finger 11 like ball out boys bowling pursuit just nostalgic and what's really cool about the show is that it's based on like this actual group of musicians like they're it's a real band and like the show has their real music in it and they like formed it around them so and like coached them to be actors so it's really cool anyway in the last episode this is not a spoiler just really cool
Starting point is 00:41:23 is that they also play one of my least songs so it's like this is perfect y'all should watch it if you haven't already it's really good i think you'll like it nice Bye. All right, the runaround. A high school band graduates and attempts to achieve fame and success in the music industry. The runarounds on Prime. That looks pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Okay, that does sound good. Yeah. This is favorite things from Columbus. Hi, Wells. Hi, Brandy. This is Elizabeth calling from Columbus, Ohio. Oh. I have two recommendations.
Starting point is 00:41:55 The first is a TV show on Prime called Countdown. It just wrapped up, so it's fully bingeable. But it's starring Eric Day. A.k.a. McSteamy from Graze Anatomy and Jensen Ackles, who was Dean Winchester on Supernatural and Soldier Boy on the Boys. Anyway, it's about this task force that Eric Dane puts together to combat a threat facing Los Angeles. The first two episodes were a lot of exposition, a little bit slower, but it really picked up after that and got really good. And the name of the show is also kind of a play on the countdown to this disaster event,
Starting point is 00:42:27 as well as, like, some of the members on the team are taking time bombs, too. So, cool. The second thing is a duology of fantasy books by Rachel Gillig. The first one is one dark window. The second one was two twisted crowns. It's one of the most unique fantasy worlds. I think I've ever read, which was cool. I didn't think there was anything that could surprise me anymore, but this was very different. I'm not going to get too deep into the mythology, because there's a lot of it.
Starting point is 00:42:52 It's really complicated, but basically the magic in this world comes from these provenance cards, of which there are only so many. And they're all different powers. So the power is really contained to like a finite group of people. But I really enjoyed them. Okay, love you guys. Bye. That was such a succinct voicemail. It was.
Starting point is 00:43:12 She's so good. She should be on this show. Also, one dark window. I want to read that or listen to it. Whatever. That does sound up your alley. Yeah. The countdown she was talking about in an L.A. PD officer joins a secret task force to investigate a suspicious murder,
Starting point is 00:43:29 but uncovers a sinister plot that requires the team to unite and save millions in the city. Countdown on Prime. Good cast. Sounds good. Yeah, I like that one. Okay, I'm into it.
Starting point is 00:43:43 Leave the curls alone. This is going to be interesting. I'm about to reference two crazy anatomy characters and right now I can't think of their names. Probably because I'm driving. But anyway, I'm listening to your podcast and Brandy is telling Wells that he doesn't think that he should have gray curls.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Like once it gets really great, you should cut it. Yeah. Here's the thing. On Gray's Anatomy, you had McDreamy and McSteamy, both kind of had some curly hair, but definitely McDreamy, and he looks absolutely phenomenal. And I would say he aged like a fine wine with those gray curls. So my advice to Wells is leave the curls. Also, love you guys.
Starting point is 00:44:30 Okay, bye. See, Brandy? How gray are they getting? You're going to see next week. No, really? It's on my sides, the sides of my head. That's where Matt's gray. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:45 It's like gray here. I mean, and I've got it in the main, in the main main. Oh, you do. Yeah, but there's so much hair that it's, it hides. Okay. Okay. It hides. All right.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Let's do one more. All right. This is old, but this is dancing with the stars. So I feel like this is. Still slightly relevant. Yeah. Hello, this is Michelle from Idaho. Hey.
Starting point is 00:45:06 I think you make a lot of jokes from so and so from Idaho, but I actually am here. And I love you guys. But I was going to do a fuck you very much. Okay. I'm listening to your current podcast. And I had to pause because Brandy, you say that Robert Irwin can't dance. Oh, my God. his first dance I watched like five times.
Starting point is 00:45:27 It was so good. I'll admit the last two weren't his cup of tea, but I think he's going to come on strong. He's my pick to win the show with Whitney being his number one competition. Sorry, my one-year-old daughter starts to say hi. But I just had to say that. You guys, I always listen on Wednesdays. You're one of my favorite, favorite podcast.
Starting point is 00:45:49 So thank you for keeping. Hi, Ray Lynn. Thank you for keeping it fun and keeping it light. Enjoy. Hi, Raylan. Yeah, little Irwin can dance. He can't. There were one or two where he was like decent.
Starting point is 00:46:06 Yeah. But it's all smoking mirrors. It's all the tricks taking the shirt off and like flipping Whitney, who's such a great dancer. Like, I'm sorry, he himself was not anywhere near the best dancer on that season. But she was right. He won. So. I almost forgot to tell you this, sorry.
Starting point is 00:46:22 So we had our final city cruise event with Ben Higgins, Chris Harrison, and myself, and who's in San Diego. And so we got to meet a bunch of bachelor fans and a bunch of YFTers. Yes, great. I mean, Chris doesn't really have a podcast anymore, like Ben does. No one came and talked to them about their podcast, but so many people, so many people were like, dude, YFT are here, YFT are here. And I'm like, fuck, yes. had this one old older lady was like we erotic grandpa but where's erotic grandpa no and i had to explain to chris harrison what he was like what is erotic grandpa and i was like so i do this
Starting point is 00:47:04 bit on my show where i read excerpts of sexual fantasy novels in an old man voice and he's like what the fuck's from with you thank you chris harrison he's like myself the same thing he's like who's listen to this and I'm like some of the best people we got out there anyways this one young lady came up to me is at the end too I felt bad because we had to we had to get off the boat like first because my car was parked on the dock so oh like they were like you got to go you got to go so I couldn't like hang out and talk to everyone and also I was driving back from san diego so I wasn't drinking you know this girl came up and she was like oh my god I have a gift for you and I was like okay what do you got and she was like you promised to take it with me and I'm like um I don't know it was
Starting point is 00:47:48 drugs. And she was like, I was listening and Brandy was telling you about peanut butter whiskey. Whiskey. And I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah. And she was like, I brought you some. She had a little airplane bottle and I had a little airplane bottle. And we both took a shot of it. Amazing. And what were your thoughts? It's a hangover in a little glass. It is so good though. I mean, it's, yeah, it tastes. I was like, this tastes like dessert. Yeah, but it's like fireball. It's like so much sugar. Yeah, but it's sweeter than fireball. For sure. In a good way.
Starting point is 00:48:20 I mean, it was just nice that someone brought it, but I was like, I can't drink this whole thing. I got to drive home. I love that. Yeah. If you guys want to call in 858-630, 1856 is the number 858-630-1856. Please call us. We need some more recommendations.
Starting point is 00:48:33 Yeah, we do. I like hearing from the wife tears. I do too. They got good stuff. They do. What do you got coming up? Coming up, I got one more last weekend of NFR. Yep.
Starting point is 00:48:44 If you're in Las Vegas this weekend, come on out to the win. I'm opening for Diplo. It is the NFR closing party. It's going to be a super fun night. I have a couple special guests joining me for my set. I'm sure Diplo will pull out some tricks as well. It should be a good time. And then I'm coming to LA for the week.
Starting point is 00:49:02 And then the following weekend, I'm playing in Miami. So if you're in Miami, December 20th, come out to Palm Tree Club. It's an earlier show, which I always enjoy. And I know a lot of the wife tears are like me and like their sleep. So a great chance to come out and catch like a sunset DJ set at Palm Tree Club. And then I'm winding it down for the end of the year. What about you? I mean, I'm working nothing and nothing.
Starting point is 00:49:25 But no, we are starting to film this Golf Channel show. So I'm doing trying to get as many episodes as we can ahead of schedule because it starts airing on January 14th. So I'm doing that. I'm obviously I'm promoting this. We got one more episode left to Sweet Empire I'm doing. So I'm doing that. also with my other podcast that I'm doing the Traders podcast
Starting point is 00:49:49 by Order of the Faithfuls. We are gearing up for season four of traders coming out which is going to be I think January 8th so that means January 9th we'll have our first recap episode of season 4. So those are the things I'm doing at home and then of course, yes, I'm going to be going to see
Starting point is 00:50:07 my life for Christmas times and I need some Christmas present suggestions. because you boy can't buy any more YSL backs. You know what I would recommend? I don't know what you're looking to spend. Maybe not this much, but Cartier came out with a new love bracelet.
Starting point is 00:50:27 Okay. And it's gorgeous. No one's probably going to buy it for me, but like it would be on my list. If I had a Christmas wish list, maybe just take a peek at it. Okay. What are we talking?
Starting point is 00:50:38 What are we talking? Two grand? A four grand? That's off. Do we. No. It's super gorgeous. Just take a look.
Starting point is 00:50:47 No. Just take a peek. No, I'm not going to do that. It's a love bracelet. Yeah, that's how much I love you. I have to take a loan from my house. Not happening. But I'll make sure Matt knows when I see him next week.
Starting point is 00:51:01 Yeah, let him know. Yeah. Hey, by the way, do you have some grand? I was going to say, I can't believe I forgot until the end of the show. Did you see that my sister got engaged? Oh, yeah. Well, you told me. It's everywhere.
Starting point is 00:51:13 So if you were listening to the. show a couple weeks ago. Brandy was like, oh, I've got some tea. And I was like, is this tea that I'm at the cut? And then you're like, yes. And then she was like, but, but I also have other stuff. And then so this is, she told me a couple weeks ago. And I knew about this. But then they went to, you said that they were going to do it like on some red carpet. And it didn't happen there. Avatar. It did happen there? Yeah, it did. Oh. Yep. Well, anyway, so she's, oh yeah. She was posing with that ring and all the photos, you know, she was really giving. So yeah, Congrats to Max and Miley.
Starting point is 00:51:44 Super happy for them. They've been together a while. Where's the wedding? I don't know. You think I'll be invited? Couldn't die. If you are, I'm sure your invite will say Adam Wells. Yeah, that's true.
Starting point is 00:51:54 You know? As it should. Yeah, as it should. Yeah, well, congratulations tell her. I'll tell her myself, actually. Yeah, you'll see her next week. Yeah, but that is very, well, Max be there. I've never met him.
Starting point is 00:52:05 Yeah, he'll be there. Cool. Very fun. All right, well, why I have tears, we love you. I think that we need to go out on this. Not that girl. Yeah, we got to do it. Come on.
Starting point is 00:52:15 What will be doing here? Bless. All right, Y of two years. We love you. I'm so sorry about this. Get is all me. It's kind of a pop. Fills off.
Starting point is 00:52:37 Me. I feel like feeling so. Yes. Feeling so, me, I feel it feeling soft. I feel so real. Yeah. You wanted a chance to enter this game. Sorry to tire.
Starting point is 00:53:02 You're not going to win. No. So get on your knees. I won't let you in. We won't let you in. Start over. Start over. You're not going to win.
Starting point is 00:53:12 in that gonna win so pack your things goodbye back why have tears goodbye we heard that door tonight that's pretty fucking great though all right you all right see you later bye
