Boy, did I get some good sleep last night. This is how you take down a large donkey. Zero sleep the night before. The next day, work out. Don't drink. And then when you're going to bed, when you're tucking yourself in around 8.30 at night, as one does, try to recoup the entire weekend's lack of sleep because it was Labor Day weekend and you went too hard in the paint, you take
Starting point is 00:01:45 yourself a magnesium pill, which by the way, I saw like on TikTok, people mean like magnesium is really good for when you go to sleep. It is, I think. I don't know actually if anything's doing anything. Take one of those babies. Then you take a reishi gummy. That's supposed to be for relaxation. Then you take a unison, and then a melatonin and get ready for the sleep of your life. Is it probably way too much? And you're probably doing irreparable damage to your liver and everything else? Yes. Am I going to die at the age of 45? Probably. Do I feel much better today? Yes, I do. I've been really contemplating the no more drinking thing. And not because I think I'm a problem. It's not even my hangover. My hangovers are bad, but they're not like the worst thing in the world,
Starting point is 00:02:35 you know? My issue with drinking now is that it wakes me up in the middle of the night. If I drink the night before, I'm waking up at 3.30 and I can't go back to bed until five or six. And then it's like, well, you're already up. Does that happen to you guys? That's my main now main motivation for like, I don't want to drink anymore. And I think I'm over it. And I saw this interview with Ed Sheeran did a sober October or whatever, you know, dry January. And he has a hard time doing it, but he did it after a month. He was like, let's just do one more month and see if you can do it. And then he was like, I want to get to my birthday. He got to his birthday. And then finally he was like, oh, I just didn't like have a desire to drink anymore. And he's been sober for a while. And he was talking about like the benefits of it. And it made a lot of sense. And it was like the first time I heard it where I was like,
Starting point is 00:03:19 God, I think he's right. If you drink, you're going to wake up and you're going to be hungover. And then with your hungover, you're going to order the McDonald's, which is terrible for you. And then if you're hungover, you're going to order the McDonald's and you're going to sit on the couch the entire day. You're not going to do anything. And then you've lost an entire day. Not to mention you haven't worked out. You've eaten like shit. Your body hurts. It's probably aged you a little bit. If you don't drink, you're probably waking up and you're waking up early because you're not hungover. You're probably drinking a lot of water. And if you're drinking a lot of water,
Starting point is 00:03:46 then you're probably going to be more inclined to work out. And if you work out, you feel better, and you probably want to eat healthier. And then if you've worked out and eaten healthy, you're probably going to be able to sleep really well that night. And he's like, it's just all cumulative. And I heard that, and I was like, damn, he's right. It's the truth.
Starting point is 00:04:03 So it's like that Ava Brothers song, When I Drink. When I drink, I say things I don't want to say. True. That is true. I do that. I do things I don't want to do. But sometimes I do things I do want to do when I drink. You know, go to a football game or something.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Like golf. Uh-huh. Tell me more, Scott Avid. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. My parents taught me to learn when I'm mad. My parents didn't teach me that. My parents were like, do you want another glass of wine?
Starting point is 00:04:54 Just do your best. They never said that to me either. Just do your best. So anyways, that's my long diatribe about how I think I'm just going to be more like Ed Sheeran. He motivates me not only with his music. All right, should we do it? Should we call the brand Zeno? Let's do it.
Starting point is 00:05:14 Let's call her up. It's time to call her up right now. Hello. Still sick. Why? Wish I fucking knew, you know? You got the Rone? Nah, I don't got the Rone. I don't feel that bad.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Have you tested yourself? No, nobody does that anymore. I mean, I think it should be, yeah, if I felt sick for two weeks, I might do it. You would? Yeah, because I might try to take a different approach. Nah, nothing worked when I had it before. Nothing's gonna work if I got it now. You can take some ivermect approach. Nah. Nothing worked when I had it before. Nothing's going to work if I got it now. You can take some ivermectin. Nah.
Starting point is 00:05:53 I mean, I bet you must have ivermectin for being a horse person. Down in the barn. But, you know, I think it's super sketch to be shooting down, shooting paste down your throat. It's meant for a 1,200 pound animal. I say do it, man. What do you got to lose? Nah. I think I'm good.
Starting point is 00:06:04 Right up your butt. Nah. That's how you got. If you freebase it right in your poopoo shoot. Is that what they do? I don't know. Probably. I don't think so. We put it in the horse's mouth.
Starting point is 00:06:14 So I don't know why. We'll just use a half used one and do it in your mouth. I don't weigh 600 pounds. That's true. So you just need like one sixth of it. Nah, I'll be good. Natural immunity, you know. Your natural immunity is seconds and bows.
Starting point is 00:06:30 It's not actually. I never get sick. This is like a once in like a two year type thing for me. So, you know, I feel like I'm doing good. Okay. What's going on? Just got home. The weather is really just very lovely.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Oh, yeah. You got like good spring weather. Yeah. I mean, it's a little cloudy, but it feels amazing outside. It's like a cool 68 degrees. I would love that for you. I feel like you're going to get probably real lucky when you come in. I feel like you you're timing it really nicely. That's what I do. You know, everything always works out for me. Oh, how nice. Yeah. So the weather's great. I'm home for like three days, then I leave again.
Starting point is 00:07:06 Did you watch the Men Tell All? Yeah, I did. Oh, great, because I didn't do that. So you can kind of give me the rundown on that. It's a little old at this point. Yeah, I guess who cares? I was thinking it was going to be better because it seemed like there was a lot of drama. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:21 But all these men, I just just i don't know maybe it's just that i'm getting older and men being catty and fucking verbally abusing each other on television is not cute to me but i i don't know okay and sam sam m is that the blonde one he just bugs like he kind of sat there and took yeah what was coming to him but it was just like the look on his face and like the vibe he was giving that made me feel like he still was just a pompous asshole that was just sitting there like i don't know i just didn't love it i didn't love it but at least he took it you know like he did yeah he didn't like double down he didn't really but like he kind of did just in his like expressions i'm like i don't think you learned anything. Well, yeah, sorry, YFTers.
Starting point is 00:08:06 The episode comes out tonight, and our show comes out tomorrow, so we can't watch it, and they're not releasing screeners for the last episode for obvious reasons. Do you know about all these allegations about Marcus being abusive? Yeah, I've heard about that. What are your thoughts on all that? I have heard that. That sucks. He just seems so like quiet
Starting point is 00:08:28 and calm. That's a bit shocking to me. I think that he's got a lot of trauma, a lot of pain. And I think that you shouldn't go on the show if that's the thing. Yeah, well correct me if I'm wrong. Doesn't the show
Starting point is 00:08:44 do some sort of, do they do any sort of psyche val before? Absolutely. I thought so. So like, isn't that something that maybe the show should consider more when casting? I don't know. The psyche val for him, I don't know if it came across that he was someone who was abusing women. No, I know. I'm not saying it would say that, but it would maybe say if you were in like a fragile emotional state.
Starting point is 00:09:05 Well, I don't think you can go on the show to be fragile emotionally. But should you? I don't think you should, but that's your life decision. Yeah, I don't know. But it's also about the lead having that to choose from, in my opinion. You're right. But that's also the real world. You've got to kind of figure out who's
Starting point is 00:09:25 cool and who's great. Yeah, but the whole point of The Bachelor is to have, like, eligible options. Yeah. Just a thought. Yeah. So it looks like it's between Marcus and Devin, right? Yeah. Okay. That's what it's looking like. So it's got to be Devin that wins this thing, right?
Starting point is 00:09:42 I mean, I think it has to be. Got to be. Yeah. Devin or no one, you know? I mean, I think it has to be. Got to be. Yeah. Devin or no one, you know? Yeah. I'm kind of rooting for no one. Did you see that your boy, oh, I guess maybe you didn't see this, your boy that flew to Australia, you know, the ex. Yeah, my short kid.
Starting point is 00:09:56 He was at the, yeah, he was at the Men Tell All, did a whole segment and they cut it. Yeah, I know a little about that. I did the Men Tell All, they cut my segment. Yeah. Whatever. Yeah. All right. Well, we don't really have segment and they cut it. Yeah, I know a little about that. I did the mental. They cut my segment. Yeah. Whatever. Yeah. All right. Well, we don't really have anything to say about it.
Starting point is 00:10:08 So I think that all those guys turned out to be not that great. That's what I think. Yeah. I mean, welcome to the world of dating. Yeah, that's it. Hey, it's a real life thing. Truly. Should we show the show?
Starting point is 00:10:24 Yeah. Me? I think it's you. Bros and hoes. Should we show the show? Yeah. Me? I think it's you. Bros and hoes, you're listening to your favorite thing podcast with... Starting point is 00:13:06 so than the things that are truly good. You know, I'm starting to become more of a pessimist. Yes. I'm starting to be, I'm starting to see the glass is actually half empty a lot. And I don't love that because I think of myself as a very positive person. But speaking of the glass being half empty, I'll tell you where it's not half empty. It's usually half full. One of the grossest things in our lives that we have to deal with. When you run the dishwasher and you put the bowls all facing downwards, so the water goes up and it cleans them. But somehow there's a little magical dishwasher fairy that goes in there and he flips
Starting point is 00:13:45 it over and then you're unloading the dishwasher and then you have that one bowl that has flipped over and there's this milky substance living in the bowl and you're like and then you realize this is this is the stuff that's in there cleaning my shit is this milky white grossness and the glass is half full of this but half empty of filth and then you're like well i gotta i gotta wash it again you know i can't live but sometimes you're like no fuck it i'll just pour it out and just hope for the best i don't do that you don't no i always stick it back in there stick it back in there yeah yeah we got to figure out how to keep everything locked down. Locked tight.
Starting point is 00:14:26 True. Isn't that the grossest thing? When you say, I mean, yeah, it's pretty nasty. Question. Are you going back to New York? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Why? I'm just curious. Are you guys going to be there during the holidays? No. Oh. Because that's the best time to be in New York. I highly disagree with that. Really?
Starting point is 00:14:42 Oh, I love it during the holidays. No, I don't want it to be cold there. It doesn't get that cold until like January, Feb. Okay, I'll give you that. No, Christmas time, there's usually snow. Some. Yeah. Oh, snow's nice. Come on. No. First snow is great and it's beautiful and you go into Central Park and you're like, oh my God, look how beautiful this is. And then New York gets its grubby little hands on it and it turns that snow into that black slush and then the snow smells like piss and shit and rat carcasses and you're like, oh no, it's snow, black snow. Hey, I know about the snow in New York.
Starting point is 00:15:18 All right, okay. God forbid you have a little like holiday cheer. You can have holiday cheer in sunny Los Angeles. Uh, no, I don't think so whatever bro okay well cute are you gonna be there maybe okay i don't know i'd love to come see sarah's show to be honest you should go see it you're running out of time i know a lot of people have gone to see her like a lot of our friends and stuff would be fun you should go yeah do you have some favorite things bro bro i i've watched a few things i gotta say though there is not shit on tv right now i disagree oh okay well i have had a hard time finding things to watch but i will say there are some things about to come out i feel
Starting point is 00:15:56 like fall is when like all the good shit happens uh are there are some things coming out this week that i'm excited about so that's good news like Tell Me Lies season two is about to drop in a few, maybe today. Did you watch Tell Me Lies? No, I know the song. Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies. You didn't watch Tell Me Lies? No. It's so fucking good.
Starting point is 00:16:17 What is it about? It's about a group of college friends. Oh God. A group, it's like a whole group of college friends or whatever. This like freshman girl starts dating this like older guy like junior guy i guess he turns out to be an absolute piece of garbage shocker uh and it's just you know about like the college life and the relationships and there's a little accident that happens in the beginning that like ensues some drama it's really good i'm
Starting point is 00:16:40 obsessed with the girl the lead grace van patten isten. Is that her name? She was also in that, the Nicole Kidman series that was so good. Seven Perfect Strangers. She was in that. Love her. I think she's incredible. And it's been like two fucking years or something crazy since season one. And they left us on a major, major cliffhanger. I feel like you did watch this show.
Starting point is 00:16:59 No, I didn't. Are you sure? Yeah. Because I was confused at the end of season one, at the very last scene confused me, and I felt like we talked about that, but maybe I'm wrong. No. The story of a young woman's obsession with a man who's good at being charming.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Tell Me Lies on Hulu premieres September 7th. Two days then. Yeah. It's really good. Emma Roberts is the EP on this thing. I saw that. Why isn't she just in it? You know, she wants to be behind the camera.
Starting point is 00:17:27 I respect that. I get it. I get it. All right. So that's good. I did start Lady in the Lake. Have you seen that? Yes.
Starting point is 00:17:35 I talked about it with the YFTR maybe a month ago. Like, did you keep up with it or just watch like an episode? No, I watched like the first two episodes. I think that's all that was out It's on Apple TV. Yeah, I don't know how I feel about it. Yeah, I think that's what my initial thought was in 1960s Baltimore an aspiring reporter pursues the murder of a forgotten young woman lady in the lake on Apple TV starring Natalie Portman Moses Ingram and starring Natalie Portman, Moses Ingram, and Ian Noel.
Starting point is 00:18:08 I got to the point where she finds the murdered woman, and then I was like, okay, this might get good now, and then I kind of fell off. Yeah, I watched the first two episodes, I think, which is about where you were at, I think. It's just a little all over the place for me. I don't know. To me, I love Natalie Portman so much,
Starting point is 00:18:26 but it's just starting to feel like she kind of just plays the same character all the time. And I don't love that for her. I feel like she's better, like more talented than that, you know? I feel like if I had anything else to watch, I wouldn't be watching this show. That's how I feel. So I just, eh. I was disappointed. I think that's why I kind of stopped watching it.
Starting point is 00:18:48 But I might kick back on because I have been on such a murder mystery law drama kick these days okay I feel like you're always on that I know this has been new for me but I have been presumed innocent yes presumed innocent ignited a fire of the law um and finding out murderers you know what I started watching I know this is so stupid because it won like all the awards last year or whatever, but I finally did it. Mayor of Easttown. You never watched that then? No, did you watch it? Yes. With Kate Winslet?
Starting point is 00:19:14 Yeah. It's fucking amazing. I know. How did you not watch that? Did you talk about it on the podcast? I felt like we talked about it. I definitely talked about it on the podcast? I felt like we talked about it. I definitely talked about it. In the fictional suburb of Easttown, Philadelphia,
Starting point is 00:19:29 police detective Mary Ann, Mayor Sheehan, investigates the recent murder of a teenage mother while trying to keep her own life from falling apart. Mayor of Easttown on Max. That kind of does a bad job of explaining what's going on in that. It does. Okay, first of all, Mayor, it's frustrating because she's like, is she the Mayor of Easttown?
Starting point is 00:19:51 No, her name's Mayor of Easttown. Okay, got it. Already confused. There's a woman or a young girl that's a mother that gets murdered, and so she's the cop trying to figure out who did this. But there's also been a woman, a young woman,'s disappeared in the last like maybe year and a half. And she hasn't solved that case. And so she's like thinking that they're connected.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Maybe they are. Maybe they're not. It's also like the townspeople don't think she's doing a very good job as being a detective because like she hasn't solved that. Now there's another murder. She knows everyone. So everyone knows everyone's kind of other bullshit but it's kate winslet evan peters is like the detective detective that comes and helps her mayor of east i know it was came out in 2021 but really good yeah you're really late to that one really late you know what show i thought you were going to say?
Starting point is 00:20:46 What? That I couldn't get into, but maybe I should give it a second shot is, it has like a similar title, but it's the one with Jeremy Renner. Do you know what I'm talking about? Mayor of Kingstown, I think it's called. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Did you ever watch that? No.
Starting point is 00:20:59 They're about to come out with season two, which means it must have been okay. I remember when it came out, I was devastated because, spoiler alert, Kyle Chandler dies in episode one. I think the second season's out. Yeah, I think it is too. I think I gotta start it over. The McCluskey family are power brokers tackling themes of systematic racism, corruption, and inequality in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Mayor of Kingstown. But also, Mayor of Easttown and Mayor of Kingstown?
Starting point is 00:21:37 That's what I'm saying. What are you doing, guys? And I think they came out, like, relatively close to each other. Yeah. I know. I do. Okay like relatively close to each other. Yeah. I know. I do. Okay. I want to watch that.
Starting point is 00:21:47 That is on Paramount Plus. Yeah. But also you can buy it on Prime. Yeah. It says new season streaming June 2nd. All right. Maybe I'll get into that. I do like Jeremy Renner.
Starting point is 00:21:58 He seems like a nice guy. Yeah. Speaking of Paramount Plus, I watched a fun movie last night. Okay. A Quiet Place. I never saw that. Day one. So this is now the second movie, but it's the origin story of A Quiet Place.
Starting point is 00:22:16 I see. Was A Quiet Place good? Oh, so good. Oh, I never saw that. You didn't watch the first one? No. With John Krasinski? Mm-mm. Oh, you should watch it. You didn't watch the first one? No. With John Krasinski? Mm-mm.
Starting point is 00:22:26 Oh, you should watch it. Okay. 100%. All right. Highly recommend. Anyways, A Quiet Place Day One is, so in the original one with John Krasinski, they're kind of like living out in the farm,
Starting point is 00:22:37 and you can't speak because these aliens have invaded the planet, and the way that they can find you is by making sound they have no vision but they have like really good ears and also very scary alien like they've done a very good job making a monster yeah really good monster so like they have to be like really quiet you can't ever talk which is an interesting thing for a movie like when you really can't have any dialogue so this one is when it happens when like like the invasion happens. A young woman named Sam finds herself trapped in New York City during the early stages of an invasion by alien creatures with ultra sensitive hearing. It's pretty dope.
Starting point is 00:23:14 It happens in New York. Oh. And so you get to see how it all started. It's Lupita Nyong'o. It's fantastic. Joseph Quinn is the other guy. Highly recommend. I don't think it's better than the first
Starting point is 00:23:26 one, but this one's got a lot of suspense white knuckling the arms of your chair and like, oh no there's a lot of murdering. Okay. A lot of murdering. A lot of death. And there's a cat that is like a main character.
Starting point is 00:23:42 Oh, I love that. Yeah. Okay, cool love that. Yeah. Okay, cool. So check her out, man. Cool. You know what I did that I forgot about until just this moment? What's that? I went to the movie theater last week.
Starting point is 00:23:53 The theater? I went to the actual theater. What did you see at the movie theater? I saw It Ends With Us, the Colleen Hoover. That's the one you didn't go see? You didn't go see like Wolverine and Deadpool? Nah. You went and saw? I saw It End saw it ends with us you guys the movie theater okay i haven't been since i think pre-covid i can't even remember the last movie i saw in a theater yeah it's so fucking
Starting point is 00:24:17 nice now the movie theater what are you talking about it's always been nice seats are so comfortable they're way bigger they recline oh yeah did you go to one where they have like food they bring you food you can order food direct like you can order a fucking steak dinner oh yeah or some shit like to the movie theater it's amazing i don't know i went to the one in cool springs okay it said like dine-in theater or something i didn't order a steak but i could have which, which is super cool. You know, I was just shocked. And, but I would love to know, it seems difficult to make moves. If you're a, if a high schooler, you're, you're in high school and you're going on a first date, like it seemed very uncomfortable for someone to like put their arm around you or you to hold hand.
Starting point is 00:24:56 There's like a lot of stuff happening in between each seat. And it just made me really like, you know, I feel for the kids because it was just so easy for us just to move the armrest up and just scooch on in there and get a cuddle in, you know, like a handhold. I think it's hard now for them. But it's great for us that need to like kick back and put our feet up during a movie. So no more H.J.'s? I don't think. I think it would be hard. Not when it wouldn't be.
Starting point is 00:25:20 It would be flaccid, I think. Yeah, I think so. Well, that's amazing. I wish the movies would come back, but I don't think they're going to. I know. Okay, don't bury the lead here. Was the movie good? Okay, so I... This movie's gotten a lot of shit.
Starting point is 00:25:34 Yeah, because Blake Lively seems like a bitch. Well, not only that, but even before it came out, people, I mean, were up in arms about the costume choices they were seeing, you know, in photos from set and just all this shit. And I think since day one, people didn't love the casting choices.
Starting point is 00:25:49 Obviously I read the book. I loved the book. And I just know because I'm a book reader that when you love a book and then someone adapts it to a show or a movie, it's never going to be as good. There's not enough time to put everything in from the book into the movie and they got to make choices right to make make the story make sense on screen i totally get it so like knowing that i thought the movie was good
Starting point is 00:26:10 i enjoyed it listen say we will but like lively she's a phenomenal actress is she um i think she is i think she's really good i think the problem is like her face is just so recognizable now that you don't get lost in the character the same way you would if it was somebody more unknown but i think that about a lot of actors and actresses i obviously love brandon sclinar wish we'd seen more of him i wish we'd seen a little bit more of atlas's story and like that part of it but how did you feel about justin baldoni i liked justin baldoni and that was the one casting choice i wasn't pumped about just purely based not on i think justin's lovely but just like in my head i when i picture ryle i it justin baloney wasn't wasn't adding up for me like i
Starting point is 00:26:51 i don't know for some reason that was the one that was like hard for me to wrap my brain around and i loved him in this i thought he was amazing and not to mention he fucking directed the entire thing yeah while whilst starring in it which is crazy So I thought he did a great job. I loved him in this. Listen, there's the parts of the story that weren't included. The one big thing that I do agree with the tick tockers on that should have been explained is for some reason. So she has this heart tattoo on her collarbone. You read the book, right? Yeah. She has this heart tattoo on her collarbone that is the center of so much drama for ryle because he he always asks her like what what's that what's the meaning of that what's the
Starting point is 00:27:31 meaning of that and in the book there's a point where he finds out figures out that it has something to do with atlas and she admits to him like something about atlas and that's why he bites her and and she goes to the hospital right in? In the movie, that never even comes up. He asks about it, but it's never said, it's never spoken or mentioned that Atlas kissed her there and that's why she got that tattoo. So if I had not read the book and was watching the movie, I'd be like, what the fuck is the deal with this tattoo? Like I would have never known the answer.
Starting point is 00:28:01 And so that was the only thing I think they left out that for people that did not read the book would have been really confusing and not made any sense. When a woman's first love suddenly reenters her life, her relationship with a charming but abusive neurosurgeon is upended, and she realizes she must learn to rely on her own strength to make an impossible choice for her future. It ends with us in very comfortable theaters near you very comfortable very um the other thing they did in this movie that i really
Starting point is 00:28:34 loved that was different from the book when you're reading the book and you're reading the scenes that where he's abusing her where he's hitting her and stuff it's very obvious what's going on it's very obvious that she's being abused in the movie. The way they shoot it is so cool because when you first see the scenes, you as a viewer are like, did he hit her? Did he push her down the stairs? Like, was this it was this an accident? Like, you know, even though I read the book, it had me thinking like, oh, maybe it was an accident. And then at the very end, I guess I should have said spoiler alert. At the end though, it becomes clear. You see flashbacks of it where it's very obvious that he pushed her or he hit her. And the cool thing about that, I think, is then it puts you in the perspective of Lily,
Starting point is 00:29:19 where when you're in an abusive relationship in the moment, you make excuses, right? And you do wonder, you tell yourself, oh, it was an accident or whatever so i thought the perspective of that was very cool and something very different than the book obviously because when you're reading it you know what it is so i i loved that about it whoever made that choice did a great job so what i've heard about this from insiders insiders but also like i think probably also just tiktok so i think that the issue was, you know, there's just kind of this feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. And Justin Baldoni was the director.
Starting point is 00:29:50 I guess what happened was pretty early on, Blake Lively didn't like the direction that Justin Baldoni was taking his cut. And so she convinced the studio to let her and her team do a cut of it as well. And that's a fucked up thing to do to a director, I guess. And it came down to the studio has to decide whose cut they're going to pick. And they did not choose his cut. And that's why he's like, this is not my fucking movie. Do you think that's true?
Starting point is 00:30:20 I think that is true. You do? Yeah. Interesting. And I think that it just goes to show you like Blake Lively's power and her husband's power in the industry. And I think that that's a smaller part of the bigger problem of why the backlash is on her is because she took the art out of the artist's hands and just used her star power to completely like wrangle this movie. And that's why people are upset. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:46 I mean, I get that. I don't love that either. Yeah. And also, like that interview, she does sound like a big old bitch. Oh, I completely agree. I started watching the new M. Night Shyamalan show called The Watchers. Have you heard about that? Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:31:00 It sounds good. I love M. Night Shyamalan stuff. I do too. Cast is really good. I mean, well, by the cast, I love Shyamalan's stuff. I do too. Cast is really good. I mean, well, by the cast, I mean Dakota Fanning is in it. So I only watched like the first two episodes and it is super creepy. Okay. A young artist gets stranded in an extensive immaculate forest in Western Ireland where,
Starting point is 00:31:22 after finding shelter, she becomes trapped alongside three strangers stocked by a mysterious creature each night watchers so she's like having to transport this bird she works at like a pet store or something and she's having to transport this bird to you know some buyer or whatever and she got to go through this forest in Ireland when she gets in the forest like her car just breaks down, like something weird happens. All the electrical goes haywire and she's like stuck. So she starts to walk out of there
Starting point is 00:31:51 and all of a sudden she comes across this skeletal angel thing, but it's made with like wood and sticks and stuff. It says like the point of no return. And you're like, okay, I don't know what that is. All of a sudden she's, you can tell she's really confused as to like where she is like her bearings are all off and she's walking around she's obviously kind of like in danger and then all then all of a sudden she
Starting point is 00:32:14 comes across like this big metal structure and the door opens there's a woman that says you have five seconds to get in or you're gonna die and she's like okay and she's like five four so then the clothan's like okay fuck it so she starts running five, four. So then Ducothane's like, okay, fuck it. So she starts running. She gets in there. It's this old lady, this young woman, and this guy all living in this kind of like metal box. So one wall is a mirror, like mirrored glass.
Starting point is 00:32:37 And so every night this entity or these beings come and they look in, they watch the people and they're called the watchers but every day they can leave but they have to come back by like nightfall or whatnot it's trying to figure out like who the watchers are the young woman her husband or fiance was there and he left and we're like where did he go there's this huge hole they think the watchers live and it's just super M. Night Shyamalan creepy. And you love it? So I only watched like the first episode
Starting point is 00:33:10 one and a half and I gotta be honest with you I was watching it and I got a little scared and I said I gotta turn this off a little bit I gotta wait until daytime to watch it Okay But I do like M. Night Shyamalan I got a little scared and i said
Starting point is 00:33:26 maybe not this one but right before the bedtimes that's good i'll load that big house all by yourself yes yes yes yes i don't know if you make a lot of sammies i make a lot of my sammy boy well i'm not right now because there's a fucking listeria outbreak in deli meat that is killing people so that's cool boar's head stay away from boar's head right hey mustard companies how do we get rid of the fucking pre-cum that comes out of the squeeze bottle before the actual mustard comes out you know i don't eat mustard what i don't eat mustard i don't like it do you like mayonnaise in very small doses so you're just fucking raw dogging sandwiches or is your mouth
Starting point is 00:34:11 the most dry mayo a little bit of mayo i prefer sandwiches like a chicken club with some like a barbecue sauce or ranch on it oh my god but i don't i'm not a big mustard is nasty mayo like small doses i don't like ketchup. Like I'm just, some condiments are weird for me. You're a six-year-old boy, I think. Yeah. You need to grow up. Mustard is nasty.
Starting point is 00:34:34 Mustard is delicious, except for the part when you, yeah, what's wrong with yellow? Yellow is a beautiful color. It's not a good, it's not a color I want to eat, really. Bananas. They're not really yellow. What color would you say they are? Like the peel is, but the't know. It's not a color I want to eat, really. Bananas. They're not really yellow. What color would you say they are? Like the peel is, but the actual banana. It's light yellow.
Starting point is 00:34:50 It's like cream. It's cream colored. It's all white. Okay. Lemons. Again, you don't really eat those, first of all. It's yellow. You don't bite into the lemon.
Starting point is 00:35:02 The juice is pretty clear. Okay. Anyways. Okay. When you are making a sandwich and you shake out the thing and you know you can feel that the heart, that the substance of the mustard has gone to the bottom. I don't like this hand motion that you're doing. And then you squeeze it out and then there's just this water substance that just splashes all over your deliciously, perfectly constructed sandwich, this just pre-cum of mustard everywhere. And then you have to try to dampen it off. And then you finally like shake it out and you squeeze it. Then you get the perfect mustard
Starting point is 00:35:36 texture that comes out. But that first stuff, we got to get rid of that. I don't know what Kamala or Donald's running on, but we got to get someone on that problem. I see. Stat. Interesting. Did you know? One more reason to not eat mustard. You're just out here having the driest mouth ever when you eat.
Starting point is 00:35:56 I know, I'm good actually. You're just. No, also, do you know how many like calories and how much like sugar is in condiments usually? Quite a bit. I make my own actually. I make my own, actually. I make my own. Make my own.
Starting point is 00:36:08 It must be nice to have free time. How many fucking hours is it taking you to make your own fucking muskrat over there? To make mayonnaise, it takes about 12 minutes. That's 12 minutes too long for me. It's also like I'm doing a lot. You have a food processor and that really basically does a lot it's you have a food processor and that really basically does the you have a food processor no people have food processors you don't have a cuisine i think you just don't know what it is do you don't have a cuisine art no you
Starting point is 00:36:35 don't have a blender i have like a like a magic bullet blender that i don't use that's it okay that's that's a cuisine art but also grow up also, grow up, Peter Pan. Count Chocula. Get some kitchen essentials. Nah. All right. Okay, I got some things that I do love. Okay, thank God. I saw this on TikTok, and I must believe it's true. And then I double-checked with my wife, and she was like, yeah, you didn't know that?
Starting point is 00:36:58 Did you know that crows are not actually black? I didn't. They're actually rainbow colored. Hmm. But the color of their feathers is right outside of our visible spectrum. So we can only see the black parts. Interesting. But most other animals see what crows really look like.
Starting point is 00:37:21 And really they're like rainbow colored amazing creatures and how do we know this did you fact check this i did my research did you do your research so that's have you ever noticed you can kind of see it sometimes when when they look almost oily and you know how when you look at oil and and you see it in the sun it kind of shimmers multicolored, you know? Mm-hmm. So that's what theirs is. I think it's black with the shimmer of multicolor. And you can Google it.
Starting point is 00:37:53 There's a couple pictures where you can kind of see it. But it's just like right outside of our visible spectrum. Anyways, that makes the most sense, okay? Because I feel like crows are so fucking smart and they seem so cool really i have you seen all this stuff on tiktok where people have taught crows to bring them things can't say i have oh my god so there are these things if you can bait crows with like metal trinkets and stuff and food well they'll bring you metal trinkets if you give them food they're like super smart get on crow talk oh okay i don't love birds you know so i'm not sure oh i
Starting point is 00:38:35 love the talk for me you know it's interesting too because crows get like this bad rap of being kind of like demonic and like you know but i don't think that's the case i think that they're just really smart i mean i'm fine with them i just don't think that's the case. I think that they're just really smart. I mean, I'm fine with them. I just don't like birds. I mean, you gotta love that like in Game of Thrones, like the Ravens were the things that were like sending messages. True.
Starting point is 00:38:53 They were the true, true informants. The last thing, this is what we'll end on. Okay, yay. So the YFTers that have made it this far, you're in for a treat. Oh boy, oh boy. This is what you've deserved. Did you know that they've changed the alphabet song? What?
Starting point is 00:39:11 They've changed the alphabet song. What do you mean? Let me show thy. They add some letters? I can't wait. They change the melody? I can't wait for you to be so irrationally angry at what I'm about to do to you.
Starting point is 00:39:24 Okay. It's going to be fan-freaking-tastic. Are you ready for this? Okay. I'm sorry in advance. Why I have tears? A, B, C, D, E, F, G. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:39 So far, so good. H, I, J, K, L, M, N. O, P, Q, R, S, Y. So far so good. H-I-J-K-L-M-N O-P-Q-R-S-T-U V-W-X-Y-Z A-B-C-D-E-F-G-H-I-J-K-L-M-M-N-O-P-Q-R-S-T-U-V-W-X-Y-Z. This just takes so much longer. This one's too long. It's too much time.
Starting point is 00:40:27 Time is money. Cut it down. Make it faster. What are you trying to do? You don't like kids going, element of P? Yeah, like. Is that it?
Starting point is 00:40:34 What's wrong with that? Element of P. Element of P. I fucking hate that so much. I hate it. Also that voice. I hate that. I hate that.
Starting point is 00:40:45 How dare you do this? You know what? A lot of these fucking people in this country, you know what they're scared of? They're scared of like drag queens reading books to kids. That's not, not me. I don't care about that. You know what I'm scared of? Whatever the fuck that was. What the fuck was that? I don't know. One more thing that makes me worried for the future of our race, our humankind. Mm-hmm. I just. So I just wanted to kind of go out on that.
Starting point is 00:41:17 I do have some music. I'm going to play this. This is O.C. Elliott. This song called Down by the Water I really like a lot. I think you guys will dig on it. This ain't another way that I am knowing That the love can't stay anywhere else Down by the water singing our songs
Starting point is 00:41:54 My darling, the loving song's going down O.C. Eliot's self-titled EP song called Down by the Water. Very good. That is a very well called Down by the Water. Very good. That is a very well song. Oh, it's so good. I saw this guy on TikTok and I loved him so much. But on TikTok, he played this on just guitar. And it was, I feel like it was better.
Starting point is 00:42:39 Sometimes I feel like people overproduce their shit. But I really do like the message of this one. So this is Cassius Culpepper. And this is a song, Who H. I think it's hard to be yourself Let go and quit beating up yourself Cause you didn't make your daddy leave you and your mama You didn't make that girl that broke you break her promise Hell, you didn't ask Uncle Sam
Starting point is 00:43:29 To send your friends to that foreign land Time to face the truth It ain't the man in the looking glass Who hurt you? Cash is Culpepper, a song called Who Hurt You. I like that. Yeah, it's really good. You got anything you want to play?
Starting point is 00:43:54 No, I'm going to do my research and listen to that Big Sean record this week, and then I'll pick one to play y'all next week. It's a lengthy record. I'm excited. It seems like one I need to listen to from top to bottom. Let's go out on Lucius' new song that I really like called Old Tape. I think you guys are going to dig on it. Cool. What do we got coming up? I mean, our live show is like not that far away. I know. Which is exciting. But other than that Oh look I'm going back to Vegas on Friday
Starting point is 00:44:27 Why don't you just live in Vegas dude Honestly well it's too fucking hot first of all Just in general But I go back to Vegas on Friday And then I'll actually be in LA You will? After that I get there on Monday
Starting point is 00:44:42 Oh Yeah so I'll see you in LA On the 9th? Yeah I get there on Monday. Oh. Yeah. So I'll see you in LA. On the 9th? Yeah, I get in on the 9th. Oh. Should we do a live show?
Starting point is 00:44:52 Or an in-person show? Well, not live, but in-person, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Good. Exciting. Very exciting. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:01 All right, yeah. And then the following week is our show. I know. Are we releasing more tickets? We haven't talked about it. Oh, I thought. Do you want to? Yeah, I think if we can, we should. Okay.
