Starting point is 00:01:29 Hey, KB. Hi. Sometimes I just think like maybe editing could be a thing and they you could. But if you want to start with that, hi. I mean, the editing gods always do what they do. And I never know because I don't listen back to this podcast ever. Oh, I'm the same. Why don't you listen back just because like, are you critical on yourself? Yeah, I don't think I like hearing myself like, like I say like, like 8000 times. And when I hear it, I think I'm dumb as shit. Yeah, things like that. I do the same thing. It's just not great for my self confidence. No, I'm the same. I say, um, I say, um, all the time. That's my filler word. And I have been doing it for seven years and you would think I would get better at not saying um but nope no I actually
Starting point is 00:02:11 think mine gets worse yeah I like get like lazier or something yeah I do I do I'm the same uh well I think we can tell everybody now the reason you're filling in. Okay, I was wondering. I don't know. You're like, why am I here? I was like, cool. I don't know. Okay, go on. You know, every now and then I do like to do an episode without Wells.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Like every now and then it'll just be workout or like his schedule is, you know, messy with mine. And like we just need an episode. Like Sarah filled in for me last week and so i was he was like i'll do that if you can do one without me next week and i was like sure and olivia creedy's filled in a few times we love olivia cute uh but cleo was like it would be so great if you and kb did an episode and i was like i would love that i love podcasting with kb but there is a reason that we're here. And this reason I have known about actually for months. And I've had to keep my mouth shut. We haven't been allowed to say.
Starting point is 00:03:11 But literally like the day after he left, it came out that they announced the new cast of Traitors. And our boy Wells Adams is on there. Oh my gosh. Two Bachelor people on one season. Because I knew Gabby was doing it. Oh yeah. Gabby. Yeah. I was just trying to pull up the cast list because Wells, you know, he's like, he just never wants to say anything. I was like, who else is going? He was like, I don't
Starting point is 00:03:35 know. And I'm like, do you not know? Or do you just not want to tell me anything? Like, I feel like he loves keeping secrets. So I had no idea. I hate it. I had no idea. Any, anything except that he was going and that he was going to be gone for like three weeks, you know, and I've never seen Traders. Peacock. I did. I did. I don't actually remember, which I should remember because I did some ad for the company. But I was like, oh, I'll watch Traders so I can like speak to the network and stuff. And I was like, I'm obsessed with the show. It's the game of Clue in real life. And it's so good. And this year's cast, I've only I didn't know Wells was doing it. But I saw like, I don't know why we keep rewarding Tom S sandoval but he's on it and gabby and who else is on it uh chrishell stouse oh yeah i saw that too britney spears is ex-husband yes sam ashgari is that he say his name i think so yes i saw that he was doing it uh uh chanel ion from Real Housewives. Sierra Miller from Summer House. Oh my God, I saw this.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Zac Efron's brother Dylan. Who like no one really knows, I don't think. But he was on that show that Zac did, Down to Earth. I was actually obsessed with that show. I was too. And Dylan was on there. Yeah. Don't sleep on Dylan. He's cute. He is cute. Those freaking Efron boys. I was too. And Dylan was on there. Yeah. Don't sleep on Dylan.
Starting point is 00:05:05 He's cute. He is cute. Those freaking Efron boys. I know. A couple people from Big Brother and Survivor. Danielle Reyes, Brittany Haynes.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Brittany Haynes? Oh my gosh. She was one of my favorites from Big Brother years ago. Oh my gosh. Yeah. So it's a pretty stacked cast, actually.
Starting point is 00:05:26 Yeah, they got good ones. And you know what what i'm very humbled because i think they asked me and i like the casting for dancing with the stars was like would you be interested and i was like i don't know i've never this was before i'd even watched it and then i after i was like data i'm interested i watch this is amazing and she was like maybe next um season and i was like damn it i well i haven't seen it yet but i from what everyone says about it i feel like you would be very good at it i well first of all i am a competitive mother effer and i feel like but i i would want to be i wouldn't want to be a traitor i feel like well a traitor won season one but uh they busted the traitors this season i don't know i i feel like i would be good at it just because i'm competitive
Starting point is 00:06:10 and i'm a gemini so apparently that makes me a good a good liar yeah well same which scares me i didn't realize i was such a good liar however so like it's funny you say the show is like clue but i've had people explain it to me did you ever play the game mafia when you were young yes that's that's exactly what it is yes and so people are like it's you know the reality version of mafia and i slayed at mafia really so good at mafia that it scares me like that i was able to fool everybody because i don't think i like to think of myself as such like a nice like like you know person no secrets i don't hide anything but like to think of myself as such like a nice like, like, you know, person, no secrets. I don't hide anything.
Starting point is 00:06:46 But like, I think I am actually a good liar. There you go. Then you would be good at the show. I maybe. Yeah, I don't know. I guess maybe you would be a good trader. I never thought of it about the game Mafia. That's so true.
Starting point is 00:06:57 I've only played that once in my whole career of living. And I loved it. Oh, it's so fun. We need to bring that back. I think people are bringing it back because I played it like recently at a house party. You did. I was going to say Drunk Mafia could be really fun. That's what we did. It was so fun. Yeah. Because I always played it at like church camp when I was a kid. So there was no alcohol involved. But we should wait. We should do it.
Starting point is 00:07:23 My birthday is coming up in one week maybe we have a drunk mafia party at my house that would be so fun wait that would be really fun i'm gonna i'm gonna set this up i actually i've been thinking because i'm like 39 like who really cares about 39 i'm like obviously happy to live another year so i was was just going to chill. And then, but now a house party with a game sounds right up my alley. Sounds pretty fun. Yeah. Oh my gosh. And then, and then we can have watching parties for Wells on Traders.
Starting point is 00:07:56 Yeah. I don't know. Like I just tried to find out when it's going to air and I guess they haven't decided yet. I guess they're not even done filming. So they have probably have to finish that. I hope he's, I hope he's not back for a while because that means he lasts long. That's what he said. I feel I feel like he could go either way for him about being good. I know. Right. I know. I'm trying to think if they would pick him to be a traitor or not. But
Starting point is 00:08:20 I feel like he's not goofy. No, I feel like he's too goofy. Like they do very serious, like the traders always have these serious talks and it's very like, I don't, it's like a very serious scenario where I feel like he's too goofy for that. The thing about Wells though, that not a lot of people see this side of him is he's very cutthroat.
Starting point is 00:08:39 And like, he doesn't show that often, but when it comes to business and shit, like he scares me sometimes. That's true. Business Wells means business. He does. Yeah, that's true. He knows what he's doing.
Starting point is 00:08:53 So maybe that would be his like special, like secret weapon. He'd be the undercover silent thunder where it's like, he's too goofy for that role. And then he's like, and he still stays goofy, but he's like serious as a, as a traitor. Oh,
Starting point is 00:09:09 I know. I'm so excited to watch. Actually, I am too. You'll get into it. It's especially if you like the game mafia, like the show, it was really well done.
Starting point is 00:09:18 The scenery is just breathtaking. They do hard challenges. And the host of the show is iconic. Like I'm obsessed with him. And apparently he stays in character like the whole show. He's very like, I don't even know how to describe him. Look, have you looked him up or heard of him ever the host of the show? No, I haven't. Oh my god. He's like the Scottish King. And he's probably like in his 60s and he's like like the the wardrobe choices are so dramatic that he wears and he's just hilarious scottish alan coming yes and he's spooky oh my gosh yeah they take it takes place in scottish castle yeah it's gorgeous I can't wait. Yeah. I, who did it? Who? Oh,
Starting point is 00:10:09 pilot Pete. So pilot Pete was on it and he did really well. And I talked to him on my podcast about it. And he was like, if you get the chance to do it, do it. Like, it's so cool. And so now I'm like so bummed out that I wasn't all gung ho, but I'm sure they had their cut list, but I, but now I just think that the cast is going to get so much more fire each season that I wasn't all gung-ho, but I'm sure they had their cut list. But now I just think the cast is going to get so much more fire each season that I'm like, I think I missed my opportunity. Here's what I find interesting about it is because it is a bunch of reality stars.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Is it bad if people know each other? If you and Wells had been on the same season, would that have ruined it at all or no? No. There was people on last season who've been friends for 17 years. Oh my gosh. And they like ended up lying to each other. Like,
Starting point is 00:10:51 I think they like it if you know each other and you can either like backstab or team up or yeah. And there's two, the two that one, maybe I shouldn't spoil it. I don't know if people are going to go back and watch it, but maybe don't spoil it. Yeah. There's people are gonna go back and watch it but um maybe don't like people yeah there's people know each other is interesting what i'm getting at yeah okay that's so i feel like i'm i'm intrigued to see like people might expect
Starting point is 00:11:15 wells and gabby to like you know team up or bond over that or like have a secret together but uh i'll be very curious to find out wait i wonder if gabby's just like had content banked because she's posting a lot is she already back or i bet she has someone running her social as well she's gone i guess so right but they seem very like in the moment like she was talking about getting her hair done and oh maybe that was before she went to the show to get her hair done. Yeah, I don't know. Interesting. Crazy. I would have texted her just to see if it was green or blue.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Exactly. Wells was like, he literally was so dramatic he did this big send off. He was like, I'm going dark. I will no longer answer anything for weeks. Oh, he did? Oh, dramatic. That's so funny because I know somebody
Starting point is 00:12:07 who just went to do a show and she was like, it was like in our contract to not really like even tease that we're going on. But she said so many people in the cast are like, I'm going dark.
Starting point is 00:12:19 And everyone's like, well, we know you're going to film now. But I guess they released the cast. When did he leave right quite like two weeks ago i guess oh shit but like i wonder they released the cast information like right after he left like it's been out for a couple weeks i think do they get their phone at all i have no idea i feel like no because or maybe they do and he just didn't want to answer texts like i don't know but he was basically like i won't respond like you won't
Starting point is 00:12:52 hear from me until you hear from me kind of thing i was like okay oh okay well okay well i really do hope he does i hope he goes far because that would be so fun to watch him do that i know like fun for you guys to talk about every week too totally and i don't know how it works like but if people from the show could come on and they could talk about like their strategy and stuff after it's over that would be fascinating to me i'm sure they could that's like i mean about that yeah i feel like they would be doing like press and wanting to talk about it to get people tuning in but yeah that's that's a great idea i know so like loved the pizza show in all wells but this is more exciting i actually watched that just to like to support and then i was like wait he's just so good i mean he's just meant to be on tv and entertain and he he's just a natural. So it's, it'll be, but it's a very different setting for him, this show.
Starting point is 00:13:49 It's very serious. Well, and, you know, he's gone down this hosting route, which he's so great at. But I'm excited to see him back on something as a contestant. I keep getting him and Joe, grocery Joe confused thinking that Wells was on the goat the greatest reality star of all time but no that was Joe yeah okay yeah that's what I've I've been saying that about um hosting like I really want to get into like hosting jobs and so good at it and then I'm oh thank you and then I go to be a cast member on like a show like that again. I'm like, is that, is that like ruin my chances?
Starting point is 00:14:29 I don't think so. Because, um, you know who I saw was hosting something is, um, put a pin in that. Before we carry on. I just remembered that we didn't actually introduce the show, like start the show. Can we do it now and then edit it in or are we just going to start now? We're just going to do it now. I love that. Do you know the intro to the show? Probably not.
Starting point is 00:14:53 I'll start it. I say, Rose and Hose, you're listening to your favorite thing podcast with, and then we usually say Wells and Brandy, but instead you're going to say Caitlin and Brandy. Okay. Wait, do you say the beginning and then I say Caitlin and Brandy? I say the beginning and then yeah, you say with Caitlin and Brandy. Okay. Okay. Starting point is 00:15:07 And then, yeah, you say with Caitlin and Brandy. Okay, ready? Okay, got it. Yeah, I can do this. Bros knows you're listening to your favorite thing podcast with... We usually talk and then we start it. I think it's fine. Oh, okay. I love this. This is very on brand for everybody. Hilarious. Okay, so pin in my talk. Okay. So I just binged the shit out of perfect match. Do you watch that at all? I, is there a new season out?
Starting point is 00:18:12 Oh yeah. I finished the whole thing. Like the day it came out. No. Cause that's, um, Harry Jousey's on it, right? I love him. Okay. No, I haven't watched it, but I've wanted to, because I saw, first of all, I thought for so long, was dating Riley from Dancing with the Stars, who literally just turned 19 like the other day. But I know, but I really thought they were, but I guess they were friends. And anyways, then everyone thought they were dating, but they wouldn't speak on it, which made me think they were dating even more. on it, which made me think they were dating even more. And then he announced a podcast and that he was going on perfect match and that he was single. And I was like, Oh, and then Riley unfollowed him. And there was like some drama around that. So I was like, Oh my gosh, now I've been intrigued to tune into perfect match. I didn't know it was already out. Yeah, it's out. And I watched it. And where I was going with that is there's a girl who's a contestant on perfect match
Starting point is 00:19:05 but and she was a contestant on too hot to handle but she also just hosted another netflix reality show based in the uk that they're pulling people from for perfect match so it was interesting because a lot of these people on perfect match were like, oh, she was our host on Dated and Related, I think is the show's name. Like, that's so crazy. She's a contestant here. Like we can date her because like a lot of these guys were like, well, on our last show, she was the host and she was untouchable. And now like, she's right. And I thought that was interesting. So I think you can do both. I think you can be a contestant and you can host. Oh, my God. Well, and then look at Jesse Palmer. This guy hosts like 80 different shows and like wears so many different hats and like then goes and does sports.
Starting point is 00:19:52 And I'm like, what? How are you? First of all, how do you also have a child? He's so busy. But I'm like, OK, maybe people just in this day and age, we can do it all. I think so. I really, truly do. I act like I'm invited to be a cast member anywhere.
Starting point is 00:20:05 I'm not. Or a host for that matter. This is my dream. It's just my dream. Well, I think that dream can come true. Honestly, just keep putting it out there.
Starting point is 00:20:15 God, I wish, I would be your dream show to host. The Golden Bachelorette. I mean, why wouldn't you host that? That seems like that makes all the sense in the world. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:20:29 y'all I'm pushing 40. I can host that and still be like, you know, like I'm not, I feel like that's a good age for that. I host that show, but I mean, how old's Jesse?
Starting point is 00:20:41 Uh, I think he's like 40. Two. Maybe I'm going to like, he not that that much older than us right jesse palmer age he is oh he's 45 he looks great well 45 that's still not that much older than us like i feel like no the age thing that shouldn't be holding you back from what i gather from when i got fired from being the host of The Bachelorette, they really want one. I always joke. Well, I kind of do.
Starting point is 00:21:11 I mean, I got let go. They want one host like across the board. They want it to be consistent, I guess. And I mean, Jesse's incredible at his job. Yeah, but that would be my dream. That or Dancing with the Stars. But again, Julianne Hough going in there with... She's so good.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And she's absolutely perfect for that role. She's done it all as a dancer. Her brother is one of the judges. She's been a pro. She's like... She's just... And she's really good at hosting. So I get that.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Totally. I think you'd be good at that. I think you'd be good at all that. I feel like you could host like award shows and stuff too. Like I just love hosting in general, whether that's like co-hosting a podcast with you, hosting my own podcast, hosting a party at my house, like hosting TV shows. I'm just like, I feel like I was born to host because it makes me happy. Totally. And I just think like so much of hosting, especially something live, like an award show or dance with a star, like you have to have some comedic skills. Like if you're not a comedian
Starting point is 00:22:11 and to some extent, like you're, it's never good. That's well, it was so crazy. It was really hard for me to do the three hour live finale of The Bachelorette because I had to do it by myself. Tayshia got sick and I was like three hours and it's very serious. And I was like, I can't make a joke for three hours. I tried. I tried to sneak my humor in a little bit, but it's such a serious, like after the final, you know, there's, there's moments of like poking fun and funniness, but Wells actually made fun of me. He goes, he was doing an instagram story he goes did caitlyn just high five herself at the end of that episode and it was like no one really caught it but i was so proud of myself i was like thank you clayton and thank you this person and this
Starting point is 00:22:55 person and i was like i'm caitlyn bristow good night bachelor nation and they panned out and i went like this and i was, thank you for noticing that. That was too good. I had to get it in. Yeah. I was just really proud of myself. I was like, I need to give myself a high five here. All right.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Well, you need to go watch Perfect Match so that you can be caught up on that. I'm going to. I won't talk much about it since you haven't seen it. But I will say, Harry being on the show. I remember months and months ago on this show wells said something like oh yeah i saw jess from jessica from love is blind in paparazzi photos with harry jowsey and i was like harry jowsey are you sure and he was like yeah and i was like harry jowsey are you sure because that was so confusing to me. And now that I've watched Perfect Match, I understand.
Starting point is 00:23:46 I understand why. But I'm wondering, like, are those paparazzi photos from set? Or did like, or was that like a spoiler? Or is that like a spoiler that they left the show together? I'm convinced paparazzi photos
Starting point is 00:24:01 of reality TV people are all called in by them themselves anyways. Like I, I'm convinced because otherwise, how do they know where you are? Um, unless you're like, unless you're like really posting it,
Starting point is 00:24:14 like we're here in real time right now. Like, and then even still, like, I don't know, but let me look up Harry. Um, and what's her name?
Starting point is 00:24:22 Jessica from love is blind. Yeah. The girl that was like, you're going to choke when you see what you out on her hilarious I know yeah okay yeah crazy I know so I was like now that I'm
Starting point is 00:24:34 watching the show like it doesn't look like it's from set necessarily but I feel like it has to be wait is perfect match on a beach yeah Tulum this doesn't look like maybe no this doesn't look like tulum this looks very tropical oh like like um the blue water well i know it's hard to say how does it not say where they are it says romantic getaway in June Months after Jess filmed Love is Blind Huh
Starting point is 00:25:05 Are they so they're both on it Are they like flirty yeah that right Now they're together on it oh they Are okay okay okay Uh-huh and like Harry listen Like I'm not in her initiative on anybody but He's out here getting mad at people
Starting point is 00:25:22 For Like speaking to his bad reputation. Like all these girls are trying to have her back and say like, yo, like you got to watch out for him. Like look at his dating history. Look, you know, he's such like a player. He's slept with so many girls, blah, blah, blah. And then when she brings up any sort of doubt about that, he starts like crying and making her feel bad for judging him but it's like bro you gotta own your actions like no one's trying to like like say you can't change but you gotta cut somebody some slack and show a little like grace for her you know like with all these girls saying these
Starting point is 00:25:59 like not great things about you that are true like you can't just tell her she can't have feelings about that. And that bothers me. I was going to, that would bother me too is okay. So it's, it is true. Like he's not denying the fact that he was a player and like not denying it.
Starting point is 00:26:15 Um, in fact, he kind of brags about it in some of the like ITMs on the show. Yeah. Like he'll be like, Oh yeah. Dom. Cause Dom's back on the show to the hot black guy.
Starting point is 00:26:25 And he's like, yeah, Dom's Dom's girl that he left the show with in season one, left the show and had sex with me. Like he kind of brags. Oh, wow. Yeah. So that's like exposing her, too. Yeah. But I think it's like public. I think people know.
Starting point is 00:26:40 I think it's like public knowledge that that happened. The like on social media media from what I gather. But I'm just like, you can't brag about stuff like that. And then cry when a girl is questioning your loyalty. You know? Very contradicting. Very contradicting. And I hate contradiction.
Starting point is 00:26:56 That's so interesting. Okay. So he was a player. How old is he? I don't know, but he looks very young to me. I, well, cause to me, I'm like, okay, like that's, yeah, you're allowed to be a player at that age. I wouldn't go on, um, like your interviews and brag about it and then do the cry thing. Like, it's okay that you were a player and it's okay that she has feelings about it. So
Starting point is 00:27:19 it's, let's see how old. Um, now, now his whole thing is like you know i want a family i want to have a serious relationship great that's all good but you can't just erase your past and expect somebody to like literally turn a blind eye to that like it's fair for her to have some feelings about it you know he's 27 he's gonna be fine in two years but 27 men at 27 no um did he ever date that friend cheska um friend he did they they were on too hot to handle season one together oh that's where they both started from yes do you watch too hot to handle it's my favorite of the reality shows it's so good no because i love it i feel like they were too hot. Like I was like,
Starting point is 00:28:07 I was like, wow, this makes me feel like shit about myself. It's just so good looking. And like with these insane bodies, I was like, they are, but it's such good.
Starting point is 00:28:17 It's like so bad. It's so good. I love it so much. Oh my God. That's so good. Cause she's now pregnant with twins with, or how did she meet her partner? I don't know because she was on that show and then she was on perfect match season one.
Starting point is 00:28:32 I think that's where they met was perfect match. Did they meet? Yeah. I don't know. Cause it's, that's been a couple of years ago, so I'm not sure. Yeah. And now she's pregnant with twins, which is so crazy. Okay. So Harry wants to have a family now. And he is... So is she calling him out? Is she like, don't gaslight me? Or does she then feel bad when he cries? Then she feels bad when he cries. And I'm like, girl, don't let him do that to you.
Starting point is 00:28:57 I don't know, actually. I'm always curious about people's ages. I know, it is curious. I know she has a kid that's pretty old, but I think she had her really young. So she's probably still really young. Age. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:29:09 She is. Oh, wait. Micah is on this season too. Yeah, Micah's on. I love Micah. I love Micah too. Did you watch Love is One? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:23 Oh my gosh. This is. Okay okay here we go age oh she's 29 okay but that's yeah it's not too bad of an age gap there that's only two years right yeah okay now you've got me very curious I've got to watch
Starting point is 00:29:37 yeah I'm going to right after this I cancel my therapy at one just for that you're like I can't do therapy but I am going to watch reality TV. I would. That is something I would do. Have you been watching anything? Do you have any time to watch TV these days? I watch TV to fall asleep, which they say is not good for you, but that's what I do. And I always watch really dark, dark shows before bed. It's, I don't know how I sleep, but I'm a great sleeper. So, uh, I have been binge watching under the bridge on Hulu. Have
Starting point is 00:30:13 you heard of it? I already watched it obsessed. And I can't believe it. So I'm on episode seven. I don't know how many episodes are, but I feel like that's getting close to the end. Yeah. There might be 10, no more than that, though. I'm like already sad for when it's over, even though it's so dark. But and it's based out of Canada. And it's a true story, which I didn't even realize it was a true story when I was like, oh, my gosh, Canadian.
Starting point is 00:30:36 And then I started Googling and it was a true story. I was like, oh, my God, it's dark. It is really dark, but it's so good. And Riley Keough and Lily Gladstone are just so incredible in it I can't get over the acting in these you know these shows that just keep coming out on like all of the apps Netflix Hulu Prime all these shows I've seen some really really good like quality with incredible acting binge watching shows that are like binge worthy and i can't get over these people because i guess usually in from our generation we're used to like
Starting point is 00:31:14 the brad pitts playing different roles and like now all the same meryl streep and this and now you've got these young actors who are in these shows that you've never heard of a lot of them before. And they're incredible, like so talented at acting. Yeah. I mean, I think it's crazy that such big names like Riley Keough and Lily Gladstone are wanting to do streaming shows, you know, versus like back in the day, it was, you know, they would only like names like that would only do films or like big studio projects or network TV even sometimes. But like now it's kind of swapped and it seems like the streamers are almost putting out better quality stuff than a lot of the film. I would have to agree.
Starting point is 00:31:57 I don't I feel like people also just like binge watching a show now instead of like going to watch a full film. They're like, I'll I'll just like lay in my bed and binge watch a show on a Sunday instead of going to watch a full film they're like i'll i'll just like lay in my bed and binge watch a show on a sunday instead of like going to appreciate a film but i'm not gonna lie those two names you just said riley and lily i don't i don't i didn't know who they were well lily gladstone won like an oscar she won a ton of awards this season because she did for her role in leo dicaprio movie, Killers of the Flower Moon, that came out this past year. Oh. Yeah, so really glad.
Starting point is 00:32:27 I did not know that. Hot ticket name right now. And coming off of that, which is awesome, like so well-deserved. I think she's the first... I hope I'm saying this right. I think she's the first Native American woman
Starting point is 00:32:40 to win an Oscar, which is pretty cool. Cool. And then Riley, did you not watch daisy jones and the six look i tried it's i know i loved it i know one of my girlfriends was like that's i've watched it the season three times i'm obsessed you will love it and i put it i don't know why i i don't i don't know why I think it's because I've been waiting to read the book and I always love reading a book first before watching something
Starting point is 00:33:10 and I don't know if I've been like like subconsciously like not getting into it because of that but I I really put it on and tried and I was I fell asleep like three times got it well she's known for that role she played Daisy Jones but she's been in a lot of cool stuff like more supporting roles i think and in some bigger films but uh daisy jones was like her big breakout like lead i think moment or whatever uh but you know she's elvis's granddaughter no elvis's granddaughter wait what is her last name's Keo. I'm sure because maybe she's married or I forget how that works. But yeah, she's. Oh, so that.
Starting point is 00:33:50 Oh, we're talking about like the writer and the cop and under the bridge. Yes. Yes. The dark haired girl. Okay. She totally looks like her. So wait, this is. Tell me who this is again.
Starting point is 00:34:04 Elvis is someone. Elvis' granddaughter, right?, tell me who this is again. Elvis is someone Elvis's granddaughter, right? Yeah. She looks like Lisa Marie. Yes. I think that's her. That's her mom, right?
Starting point is 00:34:12 Let's see. Yes. Yeah. Lisa Marie Presley. And then Lisa Marie, I guess, married Danny Keough. And that's what that last name comes from.
Starting point is 00:34:19 Got it. So is she technically, what do they call it? The, I feel like you hate this term. And if people think this way about you a nepo baby or a nepo baby i mean i guess technically she is but what i think is so cool about riley is that it's not like not everyone knows that about her like you had no idea you know what i mean and i think like no idea to me it seemed like she hasn't used that at all and i think she's been such a hard hardworking actress that has done so many of these smaller roles and really like taking her time to build her career. Like, yeah, technically she's a nepo baby, I guess. But I it's to me like she's just so different than like your typical nepo baby.
Starting point is 00:35:05 different than like your typical nepo baby because a nepo is like usually like we know who your parents are and that's where this is kind of like oh she's kind of built a name for herself and then we find out later like whoa you're Elvis freaking Wesley's granddaughter totally totally so the thing I loved her in was uh the terminal list which is an Amazon Prime series that Chris Pratt was in wait I need to write this down with an actual pen because... I can't believe you have a pen. I don't even have a pen. Look, I take notes all the time.
Starting point is 00:35:34 I'm a big note taker. But I also... There's something about when I write it down, I remember, even though I don't remember even what you just said right now. What's it called? That's fair.
Starting point is 00:35:41 The Terminal List. Okay. It's an Amazon Prime series. Came out a couple years ago. Chris Pratt's the lead. She plays his wife. I love Chris Pratt. She's really, really good at it. She was also in... I think she was in Mad Max.
Starting point is 00:35:55 I think she had a small role in Mad Max. Wait, The Terminalist. Okay. Because I'm already sad for when Under the Bridge is over, I will then binge watch Perfect Match and then I will go to The Terminalist. Okay. Because I'm already sad for when Under the Bridge is over, I will then binge watch Perfect Match and then I will go to the Terminalist. I really liked the Terminalist. Okay.
Starting point is 00:36:11 You know who else is in it? Taylor Kitsch. Canadian. Canadian. Sure is. He's in it. He's so hot. So hot. I slid into his DMs once. Oh my god. I have a full-on story about Taylor Kitsch. I yeah, I slid into his DMs once. Oh my God. I have a full on story about Taylor Kitsch,
Starting point is 00:36:27 but like, I feel like I shouldn't tell it, but let's just say I went to his apartment once back in the day and hung out with him and all his hockey boys. Oh yeah. Oh my God. That's like my dream. If I could go back in another lifetime,
Starting point is 00:36:40 I would do that. I'll have to dig up the photo. I have like a group photo of like a bunch of us we played some stupid you know boys like somehow they had to make a competition out of the day yeah like some weird game and i was on his team and we won and like some some one of the guys made a trophy and there was a trophy involved and it was like a whole thing oh okay i just looked at what i said to him i forgot forgot. He played... What is that religious show that he did? He played David Koresh or something?
Starting point is 00:37:10 David Koresh. Yeah. Waco. Waco. So good. So good. Oh, my God. I watched that and I was like...
Starting point is 00:37:17 I was... Because I had watched other documentaries on that David Koresh guy. And the similarities... He literally nailed that role. And that's what I said. I damned him. I said, crushed this role.
Starting point is 00:37:28 He never saw it. Yeah. That's too good. Or he saw it and didn't open it, but he, that's what I always think that, um, he was also in painkiller.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Did you watch that on Netflix about the, is it amazing? Oh, it's so good. Oh yeah. It's so sad. So you talk about dark KB. If you want to watch a dark,
Starting point is 00:37:46 sad show as the one. I wrote it down. Oh, it's so good. I wrote it down. That's, uh, it's,
Starting point is 00:37:54 I thought painkiller on Netflix. I thought that was a, uh, like, um, a documentary almost about real people. It's not, it kind of is though.
Starting point is 00:38:04 They have real people in it. Like, I can't remember if it's towards the end of the episodes, but it's all, like, very parallel. Like, for every character, like Taylor Kitsch's character, there's a real person out there that he's playing and telling their story. Got it. So it kind of is in a sense. Oh, my gosh.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Gosh, I don't know when I'm going to have time, but I took this weekend so the oilers my team my hockey team are in the playoffs and they're still going on yes it's the stanley cup finals right now and my team is in it i mean that's amazing i know a canadian team has not won the stanley cup since 1993 And I am losing my mind because they have worked so hard to get here. And this was like supposed to be their year and they're down in the series two to nothing. And I'm so mad, but I might fly to Edmonton this weekend, um, to go to a game. But Edmonton is so far that I'm like uh if it was for the cup i'd be there in a second but because they've already lost two it wouldn't i wouldn't be there for the stanley cup game
Starting point is 00:39:09 anyways so i'm like do i fly to edmonton it's my birthday it's father's day go to a game it's just a big job or do i lay in bed all weekend and just do nothing and watch TV because I haven't done that in so long. I mean, both sound great. I know. But laying in bed kind of sounds amazing. And I feel like my body is craving some downtime. So I feel like that would be best for my mental state. Yeah, I would maybe do that then.
Starting point is 00:39:40 Okay. And then if they go to the cup, go for a game for that. Yeah, exactly. Who are they playing? Florida Panthers. I get so mad when it's like, I'm like, I'm just stereotyping,
Starting point is 00:39:52 but Florida, I'm like, did they even know hockey? Like they're it's Florida. Yeah. I got to say, I mean, it's not like I'm,
Starting point is 00:40:00 you know, hang out with hockey players much, but I got to say the Florida Panthersthers hockey team is relatively hotter than most. Have you noticed that? You know what? I'm so off my game. Usually, I would know that. I just remember looking at their roster before I went to the game.
Starting point is 00:40:16 I think this was last year when Miley did Miami New Year's. I think we went to a game. And I just looked at the roster because I was sitting on the glass. And I was like, wait a second. They have a really hot team I mean these photos of that the players like their headshots never do them justice like they're I'm always like looking at these photos being like what the hell um but oh wow there are some cute oh my gosh they're so hot but also this is you know what is that movie where uh the guy says you know dazed and confused i think when he's like we keep getting older and they keep staying the same age
Starting point is 00:40:53 that's that's me that's me with hockey i'm like i just keep getting older and all these guys are just like 25 and i'm like damn it literally i mean that's me with everything it's we just i don't know if you did anything for CMA Week, but I've just been out in the middle of all this fucking country music chaos. And we were just talking about some of these up and coming artists and I'm obsessed with Tucker Wetmore.
Starting point is 00:41:15 Do you know who he is? Yes, yes. He is so freaking hot. And he's like... Yeah, he is. Is he really? I think he's really young. I'm pretty sure he's like young 20s.
Starting point is 00:41:26 How old is Megan Maroney? Because she is so cute. She's so young. Yeah, she seems like a tiny little Polly Pocket young, but so talented and beautiful. She's incredible. Oh my gosh. CMFS, I tried to avoid
Starting point is 00:41:42 a lot of it for some reasons. Well, I ran into one of it for some reasons. Well, I ran into one of those reasons, actually. I bet you did. They were everywhere. I wanted to go so bad and I was like, Yeah, I bet you did. That's why I avoided it. And then I went to the show on Sunday night to watch Carly Pierce and ABC has a suite.
Starting point is 00:42:03 So I went to that. But I was interviewing some of the people from Bachelor World in the Bachelorette Activation Tent for CMA Fest. But then I would just, you know, I don't want to go looking for my own misery. So I stayed home. I feel you. Yeah, it's that's not my favorite thing to go out and look for pain. So I stayed home. Fair, fair. But yeah, I just like there's so many cute country singers right now. And they're all like 24. I'm like, can you guys be 10 years older? I didn't realize that Tucker got his 24.
Starting point is 00:42:34 I know. I mean, even... What do you think about the Montana boys? I feel like you'd have real opinions on this. Uh, I mean, one of them hit on me at the CMTs and then did again at Stagecoach. So that was fun. Was it start with a K and end with a lib? No, no. The other one.
Starting point is 00:42:55 The other K one. Oh, I didn't know. I only know Caleb and Mark. Who's the other? He's so cute. He's an absolute child, but he is very cute. Very sweet. Oh my gosh. Yes. It's funny because they are kind. other he's so cute he's an absolute child but he is very cute very very sweet oh my god yes it's funny because they are kind they're just super super nice yeah it's just they have no
Starting point is 00:43:13 clue what they're doing no and i mean neither did i at 24 and if you put a tiktok in front of me and i blew up i would i know i would be riding that wave so hard. I know. I know. They're so sweet though. And they're so funny. I think I remember asking them at Stagecoach, like, so like, you know, what's your guys' plan? Like, what are you guys doing?
Starting point is 00:43:35 And they were like, oh, we've really got some business things in the works. And I'm like, do you? What business things? They were like, what is business look like to you? i asked them the same thing and i think it was caleb he was like um yeah i mean we're just you know we're getting paid to lip sync right now so it's it's great and i was like that is i mean that is great i mean i say take them for all you can take them for all you can while you them for all you can while you can.
Starting point is 00:44:06 And then you can figure it out. And then figure it out. I think, I think they like graduated and have their degree in something and get like the one guy can build houses and like, like they're, they're handy and they're big girls. Okay. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:18 They grew up like, you know, like farming and building shit and country boys. Like they, they'll be fine. Yeah, totally. So funny. It's just interesting.
Starting point is 00:44:28 I know. It is funny. It is funny. I'm like, what are they doing at Stagecoach? Literally lip syncing. That's hilarious. Literally.
Starting point is 00:44:36 They were going on stage with one of the DJs to dance around during a song. Incredible. Yeah. Incredible. I know. It's just what a life. What a life. What. Yeah. Incredible. I know.
Starting point is 00:44:45 It's just what a life. What a life. What a league. And it's 2024. 2024. What is life going to look like in 2030 is my question. I'm scared. Truly.
Starting point is 00:44:59 Did I tell you that one of my girlfriends works for facebook like head office in london and they had a meeting around how in the next i don't know 10 to 15 years maybe 20 i can't remember exactly what they said but there will be like dating shows will be like are you in love with a real person or ai i mean i'm kind of surprised we haven't done that already, to be honest. I know, right? I mean, it's on the way. It's on the way. Think of how far technology has come in 20 years, even though it felt slow. And then all of a sudden, we're like, holy shit, we have this now. And look at 20 years ago, it was a flip phone. Imagine. This is what I think. I'm going to go down a weird place. But I love it. That's what I think. I think aliens are AI. I,
Starting point is 00:45:46 people think aliens are coming and they're doing, I think the aliens are AI and they're going to, I don't think it's a bad thing. That's a great theory. That's my theory. I think that they're already here and it's AI. Interesting. I mean,
Starting point is 00:45:58 I just have always thought the aliens are dope. I'm like, why are we so scared of the aliens? I feel like they're just like super dope, like super chill. Like maybe they want to hit the rave. Like, I don't know. Yeah. I'm like, why are we so scared of the aliens? I feel like they're just like super dope, like super chill. Like maybe they want to hit the rave. Like, I don't know. Yeah. I feel like they're, they're here to help. I feel like that we all like have this, it's like, um, like I went diving with sharks once and the guy was like, forget everything that sharks have been like made to make you feel in the movies. Like they're not these like vicious, angry,
Starting point is 00:46:24 they're good. Like they're curious and you can treat them. Like you can look them in the movies like they're not these like vicious angry they're good like they're curious and you can treat them like you can look them in the eyes and i mean certain sharks i wouldn't mess with but like there's a lot of different kinds of sharks so i'm like we think aliens are like these like et looking things that are going to come down and take over and like kill us all but i just think it's like technology is aliens i can see that yeah i could see it okay not to contradict your shark theory however god have you not seen all of the shark attacks happening on 30a down in florida okay i just saw this today i was um scrolling on tiktok and um it's all over tiktok. I started seeing that all. And I was like,
Starting point is 00:47:06 oh my gosh, wait, what is happening? And the guy was talking about a guy hitting a shark with a shovel. And there's all these attacks happening at 30A, which is my favorite place. I'm like, where is that? It's so crazy. Why are there shark attacks? What's happening? I don't know. But there are so many sharks
Starting point is 00:47:22 down there in the shallow water right now. And there were three people got injured in one day from shark attacks. And people are still in the fucking water. Like, what are you guys doing? Like, I'm TikTok. I'm just sitting here scrolling. And like, there's all these videos of sharks swimming there in the water. And there's people in the water just like, oh, hey, shark.
Starting point is 00:47:40 I'm like, are you guys fucking crazy? I'm terrified of the water. So this to me, I'm like, this is exactly why I don't get in the water. Because this little girl I named Lulu got attacked and like she lost her hand. And I think maybe one of her legs like it's so sad. And and after that, people are still like in the water and letting their kids in the water. I just think it's crazy. Yeah, that's that's actually just like idiotic.
Starting point is 00:48:05 But like even if I have a theory on certain sharks, I still think they like... If you're like diving with them and you're like making eye contact and you're swimming in their environment and you're calm, this is one thing. If you're just like... If they're in a territory of...
Starting point is 00:48:24 I wouldn't purposely go in and start splashing around and like be in the water because the like they can still mess you up all it takes is two seconds yes so that's yeah i definitely wouldn't be throwing my kids in the water no oh that's sad it is it's really crazy but like you know how many people are down in 30a like it's so packed and there's so many people and they're just like still in the water down there with sharks just swimming around it's just blowing my mind but this is why florida gets a bad rep this is why there's always the craziest weirdest stories coming out of florida with the people being crazy and i'm like you guys are asking for it.
Starting point is 00:49:06 You guys are dumb as shit. Like get out of the water. Like hit a pool, just like maybe just stay on the sand or in a boat. Like, yeah, just maybe just don't go looking to play with sharks. No,
Starting point is 00:49:22 I think it's nuts. That's crazy. Stay out of the water, Florida. Yeah. Stay out of the water, Florida. Yeah, stay out of the sharky waters. That's crazy. I'm going to get now. I'm like, literally, this is what happens. I want to be in bed early tonight.
Starting point is 00:49:37 I'm like, I don't have anything till 930 in the morning. And then I'm going to start binge watching. And then I'll, this is what I'll do. I'll binge, I'll be binge watching, but I'll be accidentally scrolling all through TikTok about sharks. And then I'll have to go back because I missed that. But then I'll do it again. And it's just like the ADD of the century in my bedroom. Like it's just a joke. I am also guilty of that. Yeah, it's so bad. It's so bad reading a book like I love reading. And I actually
Starting point is 00:50:06 read a book in one day the other day. Wow. But it was crazy. But I was like, I had to put my phone down, flipped over, I had to have the TV off, I really needed to finish this book for book club. And it but that's the only way I could do it. Because otherwise, I am scrolling, I am thinking about what I'm having for dinner. I'm the TVs on I'm rewinding like it's just it's just bad. Do you know what the book was called? Yes, it's mistakes we never made by Hannah Brown. No, incredible. Yeah, we had we had her for uh book club so i meant to bring her book with me when i went traveling then i had a kindle i left it on the plane for the seventh time i'm like i'm not buying myself another kindle that is your seventh kindle that you have bought and left on an
Starting point is 00:50:59 airplane and so then i waited till i got back and then i read the book in one day wow which means it's a good book if I could read it one day. Seriously. Is it like her story is like nonfiction, like her story or what? It's fiction. She wrote a fiction book. She wrote a fiction book with a,
Starting point is 00:51:16 it's very cute. It's a very easy, fun, cute read. And yeah, it was crazy because she wrote a book called God bless this mess, which was like about her life. And then she wrote a book called god bless this mess which was like about her life and then she wrote a fiction and i was like on the edge of my seat at the end i was like
Starting point is 00:51:30 are you gonna write another she's like yep working on it now i'm like crazy she's like a little author now yeah yeah that's so cool do you read i do i don't read as much as i used to and i need to read more because i used to read on planes. But now I download Netflix shows and freaking watch Netflix like an idiot. I need to start reading again. But I don't know why I'm so opposed to the Kindles and the iPads for reading. I want the actual book so bad. I was too. And I love a page, turning a page. I love having a book. There's something comforting about it. I was too against the Kindle until I got one.
Starting point is 00:52:12 And then I realized I, cause I like, I don't want, I get so lazy when I'm falling asleep. I do not want to turn over and turn off a light. I want to just pass out. And so you can read your Kindle in the dark and it just has like a little dim light on it. And then you could just sleep. That is nice. It's great.
Starting point is 00:52:28 I do feel like I would read more if I could just like instantly have the book I want. Like you can with the Kindle versus like if there's a book I want to read, then I'm like, well, I either have to order it or I have to go to Target and get it or like whatever. And I feel like that's one of the reasons why I read less. So maybe it's just time that I convert. like that's one of the reasons why I read less. So maybe it's just time that I convert. I even got a Kindle holder that like goes, it attaches to my nightstand and like comes out. So I just like lay there and read. Again, I don't, I don't have one anymore because I can't take care of my things. God. It's frustrating. Well, I have one more show recommendation for
Starting point is 00:53:04 you and it actually is a book adaptation, which you should read the book because it's my favorite book of all time. Wait, can I guess? Yeah. The Idea of You? No, but I did love that. And I did like the movie.
Starting point is 00:53:19 I hated the movie. Oh, I thought it was fine. It was so cheesy. It wasn't as like... I needed to be a little bit more like yeah it was too like i don't love a rom-com um and it was too rom-commy for me but the book i was like spicy okay you go then the book was much better yeah i will give you that that's why i almost feel like it's better to watch the show and then read the book because if you read the
Starting point is 00:53:43 book first the show is never going to measure up. That's how I feel about book adaptations. I agree. I agree. But this one, it's called Dark Matter. The author is Blake Crouch. The YFTers know up and down about this because Wells and I have literally talked about it for years and years and years. I've been obsessed with this book since it came out years ago. And I've known that there's been a show in the pipeline for like, it feels like a freaking decade. I mean, I don't know if it's really been that long, but for years they've been talking about this show being adapted from his book. And Blake Crouch has had other books be turned into shows. I don't know if you ever watched Wayward Pines on FX.
Starting point is 00:54:20 I think it was, but that was his series as well. This one's called Dark Matter. It's on Apple Plus. And Jennifer Connelly is in it. I'm obsessed with her. Oh, I love Jennifer Connelly. Yeah, but it's really good. It's like a little sci-fi, a little futuristic in the sense of there's technology that we don't have yet that basically like I wouldn't call it time travel because that's not what it is. But basically, this guy, this scientist comes up with this mechanism, this box that allows you to basically travel to different worlds where your life is different based on one decision that you made
Starting point is 00:54:59 somewhere else. So he gets to see all these versions of himself that made different decisions and took a different path in life. And it's wild. It's very cool. Whoa. That's cool. Highly recommend. The book is phenomenal. The show is good. Should I read the book first? I feel like if you do that, the show might not be as good because you're going to know what happens. For me, even though I love the book and know it, it's been a while since I read it. So at least the show feels a little bit like there are times where I'm like, Oh, I actually can't remember what happens here. And so the show is exciting to me. So I almost feel like you should watch the
Starting point is 00:55:32 show and then read the book because I know the book's going to be like, there's going to be more to the story and it's going to be deeper and more complex and better. And I just think if you read the book first, the show might disappoint. So if you want to watch the show first, that's probably what I would do. If I watch the show, I'm not reading the book, but I'll watch the show. Um, I feel like I already know. I like, I like, um, like I love reading and going, Oh, I like not knowing what's coming. So if I already know, you should just read the book because the book is like, it's my favorite book of all time. Wow. That's a bold statement. Okay. I'm going to, I think I'm going to read the book is like, it's my favorite book of all time. Wow. That's a bold statement. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:06 I'm going to, I think I'm going to read the book. Read the book. You got enough shows on your list to keep you occupied. I have enough shows and I actually need a new book. So that's perfect. It's a really freaking good. Okay.
Starting point is 00:56:18 Sold. Freaking good. Oh, I feel like we've been talking long enough here. This is what I do. I just talk until I feel like it's been almost an hour. This is perfect timing. My therapy starts in one minute.
Starting point is 00:56:31 So that's perfect. All right. What are you up to? And I need it. Right? Don't we all? Yeah, we do. I don't know if you saw the news today, but there's some news.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Oh, fuck. No, I didn't. Do a quick google search when you hang up um no what are you up to anything the yft years need to know about if everybody could put out just a good vibe my way for me to get something that i just auditioned for that would be amazing um i can't really say what it is but if i if everyone could just put out that good energy of like this is meant for you i really feel like it is, but if I, if everyone could just put out that good energy of like, this is meant for you, I really feel like it is meant for me. Um, so there's that. And then, um, if your YFTers are the drinkers, then a spade and sparrows.com. I, my wine club is so fun. We
Starting point is 00:57:18 like, so my wine shipments, if you're in the wine club, go out every four months and, um, you can get six or twelve bottles you can pause cancel whatever your subscription at any time and you can change what bottles you want like for summer i would want more rose and white you can like switch it up and then the wine we do uh the club's called we're big wine guys and so um we do meetups every like four months with the shipments and i'll have like I'm trying to get this magician to come on and do a crazy show for everybody I'll have like a yeah I have people that come on and do like I've done a stand-up I've done um cocktail making classes like we do really fun things and then
Starting point is 00:57:56 you get wine shipped to you and you get perks of it like you don't have to pay for shipping if you get if you're in the wine club, you get certain discounts, you get to try certain things first. And it's just so fun. That's like my main thing I'm obsessed with right now. And, uh, and my podcasts off the vine. Loves it. I love it. Yeah. Thank you. Thanks for having me co-host with you.
