Your Favorite Thing with Wells & Brandi - Traitors Gonna Trait

Episode Date: January 15, 2025

This week’s episode is coming in HOT, literally. First, Brandi and Wells dive into the LA fires. This has been a tough week for a lot of people out there, and we're all praying for calmer winds. T...hinking of you, YFTers! Then, it's time to talk about the elephant in the room: Traitors. Or better known as ‘the show that Wells was recently banished from.' WTF?!? So much to unpack here! Wells has a theory on why this happened and spills some serious tea on the behind-the-scenes drama. He also queues up his new favorite revenge song to commemorate the experience. There are plenty more favorite things this week, too, including a film with Megan Fox as a robot, gory medical dramas (thanks HBO!), and new music from Wells’ playlist that Brandi thinks is out of character for him (in a good way). Next week, they play listener voicemails, so don’t forget to send them in for a chance to be played on the show! Call us at 858-630-1856.  Favorite things mentioned: Silo (Apple TV+) Squid Game (Netflix) The Pitt (HBO Max) American Primeval (Netflix) Subservience (Netflix) Being an Asshole Is My Love Language by The Dream Eaters Turn The Lights Out by Addie Addie Addie Backseat Driver by Orla Gartland Room On Your Shoulder by Adam Melchor & Mt. Starting point is 00:00:26 Do-ka-do-ka-do-ka-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do- reading the good news on the newspaper page. Nothing to dissing, not a grand design. Some people say it's even harder to find. Well now there must be some magic glue inside these gentle walls. And then I also think he wrote step by step, day by day. Dude, the guy Remember I told Brandy that I wanted to take singing lessons Okay So I'll tell you guys the truth because I know she she I knew that she would never understand The type of person that I am and and the does wants and desires that I have I do want to get good at like being
Starting point is 00:00:59 A crooner like Frank Sinatra's style, but the song that I want to sing that's gonna blow everyone away is it's a rare condition that's that's the I want us I want to do family matters on stage one day and people will be like what the fuck just happened dude where's Erkle where's Laura where's Carl I don't remember any of the other names of the people what was the brother's name I don't remember any of the other names of the people. What was the brother's name? I don't know. Anyways, Jesus Christ, this year, we are 15 days into it, I guess, and it's already over.
Starting point is 00:01:34 I mean, the city of which I live is on fire. So many friends have lost their houses. Like, it's an insane amount of people that I know that have lost their houses. It's really, really scary. And we are so blessed and so lucky to not be one of those people that have lost their house. But gotta feel them and have some new roommates soon, because people don't have a place to live. Anyway, Traders came out. We'll talk about that. Fucking vanished immediately. Embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:02:00 But I'll give you guys the whole background, the whole thing, what happened, at least my perspective of it. Well, let's just be honest with you, I'm not gonna date at a reality TV competition shows, you know? Apparently not. I got eighth place on The Bachelor, I got fucking 22nd on Trainers. I did get number one on Worst Cooks, so I don't know, whatever. Can't win them all, I guess. Only good die young, yada yada yada. But it was kind of bullshit how I got kicked off that fucking thing because I didn't do nothing wrong But your boy can't shut the fuck up and that was the problem. That's what happened. Anyways, should we call the brand?
Starting point is 00:02:30 Let's do it It's time to call her up It is time Let's do it now What's that? Hey, how you doing? I'm good. We have a little bit of a location change over here. Okay, where are you? If you haven't noticed. I'm in my bed.
Starting point is 00:02:49 Oh, nice. Because my office, where I normally record with you, has been turned into a studio for, sorry, Versailles that is filming in Nashville this week. And they moved my desk and my computer and all the things. So I had to set up in my bedroom. Why didn't you just set up where you do, sorry, we're Cyrus, but just do this show?
Starting point is 00:03:10 Because I would have had to prop up my laptop. I can't use our cameras and shit. You know what I mean? I have to use my computer. Why can't you use the good cameras? What's going on? I don't know how to do all that. Oh my goodness gracious.
Starting point is 00:03:23 All I know how to do is plug the laptop in and go, you know what I mean? So if I was going to just prop the laptop up, I might as well be in bed, you know? Well great. I'm glad you're not wearing sunglasses. You're not wearing sunglasses. Someone did their eye makeup. It's because I'm in full glam for, sorry, we're sorry. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:41 But honestly, I'm kind of loving doing this from bed. So like this might be permanent. I don't know. All right, fine. I don't really But honestly, I'm kind of loving doing this from bed. So like this might be permanent. I don't know. All right, fine, I don't really give a shit. I kind of think it looks nice. Yeah, it's a great background. Maybe it's the makeup, I don't know. Yeah, it's both.
Starting point is 00:03:53 Well, you're lucky you're not doing Sari Resirus in LA because LA is on fire right now. I know. What the fuck is happening here? Miley lost her house in the Malibu fires. Does she still own that property? Is it on fire again? No, that property, I don't know what happened to it,
Starting point is 00:04:12 but it's no longer hers. She has a different Malibu property, but it's fine, thankfully. I got a buddy who lives in Malibu, that thing's gone. It's really, really sad. That's the crazy thing about the fires is like one house can be fine, the other one's destroyed.
Starting point is 00:04:26 You know, it's just, it's so insane. Not this one, everything's gone. Well, I've seen a couple, like I've seen a couple of random houses that ended up being fine, like amongst all of the devastation. It's kind of crazy. Concrete houses did well.
Starting point is 00:04:38 And you know, a lot of people, because this has happened a couple of years ago, they bought these things where like, they basically put sprinklers on the roof and then just have it running the entire time. That helped a lot. It's wild over. It's a bloodbath, man.
Starting point is 00:04:50 Like it is insanely bad. I'm surprised you're still there. We're in Studio City and we got lucky. I mean, it got close to us because running lit up on fire and that can get kind of close to us. That was the sunset fire a mile away from us, a house lit on fire, but that one was started in the house. That it's so much of this is like people allotting
Starting point is 00:05:12 their own shit on fire and like arson and stuff. Which is terrifying. I know, thoughts and prayers, I guess all that stuff. Yeah, it's been tough to watch and feeling, feeling very helpless being all the way over here, like seeing all the animals that are left behind and running from fires and everything. Like it was just all too much. I had to stop looking at it.
Starting point is 00:05:35 Yeah. Yeah. It's really, really sad. Well, LA is on fire and we're covered in ice here in Tennessee, which is insane. Well, I don't care about that. You guys are fine. What a difference. No, I know. It's just it's just crazy, right? Like, LA is on fire and we're covered in ice. It's like,
Starting point is 00:05:50 I wish we could give you guys some I you know what I mean? Yeah, give me give us some that snow baby. I don't really know if like we should go into the fires. It's getting politicized, which is annoying to me. No, but it is what it is. I mean, like, I'll just kind of go over what my thoughts are really quickly on it. Yeah, fire prevention, controlled burns, fitting out of forests,
Starting point is 00:06:12 that's an important thing that you need to do. And it's hard to do, I think, in California, one, because there's a lot of bureaucratic red tape, and then also because there's so many houses just around. So the reason why they don't want to do a lot of controlled burns because like, well, then there's going to be smoke in the neighborhoods and that might be bad for people with emphysema or whatever, which I totally understand. But this is much worse than that. And you have to, if you're going to have houses in topography like that, like, which is like fire rich zones, you have to, you have to do controlled burns. And that's really, really frustrating.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Yeah. Anyways, so that happened and then- I'm glad you're safe. Yeah, it's been a, it's been not a great week. I gotta be honest with you, I guess we're not bringing a whole lot of like positivity to the show, cause that happened and then also, Traders premiered this week and then I got fucking
Starting point is 00:07:00 banished immediately, so that's pretty awesome. What the fuck is happening here? Who knew you were so unlikeable? I know that's what's really, we're going to get into it, but that's what really grinds my gears about it because I wasn't unlikeable. I was loved. That's what like, that's what really, really annoyed me.
Starting point is 00:07:21 And like looking back, I was so annoyed in the moment when it was happening. and then looking back, I should have seen, yeah, I was pissed off. Because it also like happened out of nowhere. It seemed like it. I mean, obviously editing, but it did just seem like all of a sudden your name was coming out of nowhere. It was kind of crazy.
Starting point is 00:07:39 I never had, let's just start the show and then we'll get into it, how about that? Okay, okay, okay, okay. We'll get into it. Let's get home and find out. Let's get start the show and then we'll get into it. How about that? Okay, okay, okay, okay. We'll get into it. Let's get, hold on a minute, find a... Let's get into it. Let's get into it. All right, me or you?
Starting point is 00:07:51 You. Bros and hoes, you're listening to Your Favorite Thing podcast with... Wells and Brandy. All right, this is officially my take of what happened to me on The Traders season three, okay? Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:08 I'm also clipping this so like we can use this for like socials, right? Like. Sure. Click this link if you wanna see the entire thing of why it was bullshit that I got kicked off of Traders immediately. So you watched the first two episodes.
Starting point is 00:08:22 I did, yeah. Yeah. I paid 12.99. Oh, sorry. To watch you in two episodes. I did, yeah. Yeah. I paid $12.99. Oh, sorry. To watch you in two episodes. You could've watched it for free, you used to watch commercials. I couldn't find that option, I don't know why.
Starting point is 00:08:33 Sorry. And mine still has commercials and I paid $12.99. Oh, I guess we play premium, so, well whatever. You can cancel that subscription now because- No free trial, no free option. Like, Peacock's just really making us, you know. Yeah, sorry, I'm so sorry. subscription now because free trial option like peacocks just really making us you know, yeah, so I'm so sorry. But well, I took one for the team. Still salty about it. Gotta be honest
Starting point is 00:08:51 with you. Truly salty about what happened to me on on traders, because I was really excited to go. I had so many cool outfits. Who was someone complimented your outfit and I was dying. I know actually. And it was funny about that is I and she's like the best person in the entire world. And I love her so much. She was so upset when you got. Oh, she was crying. There's so much more. I can't.
Starting point is 00:09:14 Yes, she was crying. He's just so nice. I know. We were the we were best of friends. We're besties. So funny. So let's just go through the show. This is just going to be the one episode where we just talk about traders, I guess. Yeah. The truth of the matter is, is that like, when you're not filming, you're still in a car with
Starting point is 00:09:32 people, right? And you're always kind of in the car with the same people. And then they split you up into different like the in the cool car with the with the cameras and stuff, you know? Got it. Yeah. So in my car, always was Robin, Sam, Britney Spears' ex. How did he get on this show? Of course, I had no idea who this person, I was like, what is he? I still don't really know who he is. I was so confused.
Starting point is 00:09:56 So it was Robin, Sam, Britney Spears' ex, and Ian, and maybe Bob Harper, the other Bob. Okay, yeah. Ian and maybe Bob Harper, the other Bob. Okay, yeah. And so I was with them like all the time, even when the cameras were rolling. So that's what makes it so much more hurtful that Robin did that to me because I hung out with her like the entire time.
Starting point is 00:10:16 I knew about all the scandals that she had gone through with like her husband and the podcast. And I was like, like giving her advice and stuff. I thought we were tight. So that was what was really like got me. I was like, Jesus Christ, you came at me and I thought we were buddies. They cut it out. But I was like, I had to be honest with you. Like I'm so hurt. I thought we were friends and we are not friends. So yeah, so we get there. They like you have to get out to meet everybody. And of course, you know, Tom Sandoval's there and freaking Nikki Bella and Chris shell and like Gabby and Dylan Efron, like all these big
Starting point is 00:10:48 names that like I know and it's going around me to see everything was cool. And then Alan comes up with all these like there's all these like robed druids. That's like terrifying and they all leave and then there's a one one left. And then they make them decloak. And I'm so, so amazed that they cut this out because everyone's like, oh, it's Rob. And I was like, I was standing next to Dylan Efron and I was like, who the fuck is this person?
Starting point is 00:11:15 I have no idea who this person is. I don't know who he is. Yeah, he's on Survivor and like, he's obviously very good, but like, I don't know, you know, I really only knew the challenge of, I don't know Big Brother, I don't know Survivor. So like I was, and I don't really know Housewives. Like I didn't know all of this stuff.
Starting point is 00:11:30 But I had a feeling it was gonna be Bananas, Johnny Bananas, of whom is my friend. So when he like offers like, you can come in like, if it had been Bananas, I probably would have got, wouldn't have been like, I'll get you in the game, kill somebody, I guess, I don't know. But anyways, that girl Carolyn was right in front of me going absolutely nuts the entire time. Like, oh my God, oh my God, there he is. Oh my God, should I go? Should I go? And I was like,
Starting point is 00:11:54 dude, fucking bring it down a little bit, a little over the top. She's a lot. What show is she from? Big Brother or Survivor. I don't know. one of those things. But anyways, she was crawling out of her skin. And I remember being like, hey dude, chill out, man. Anyways, they cut all of it, but I did this whole thing of being like, I think that she was possessed. It's like trying to get out of her own skin.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Anyways, we don't let Rob in, right? Go meet everybody. And then we do the Dragon Boat Race. And here was the first time that I knew I was in a lot of trouble, Brandy. Oh boy. We get down there and they're like, all right, we need someone to steer.
Starting point is 00:12:31 Who's a good leader? Everyone was like, Wells, Wells, you do it. And I was like, no, no, damn it. My whole thing was to be under the radar. Shut the fuck up. Like fly under the radar. Yeah, immediately it was like, well, I'm not, I'm doing a terrible job of this. I am not flying under the radar. Yeah, immediately it was like, well, I'm not, I'm doing a terrible job of this.
Starting point is 00:12:46 I am not flying under the radar. Apparently I'm talking too much shocker. So they make me the person who has to steer. So then there's like, there's already like so much pressure on us to do well. They cut out a lot, like Alan at the end of it gets really, really mad at us for not going for the rest of the money, which was kind of BS because so I had this
Starting point is 00:13:05 walkie talkie where they would be like, or Alan or whoever would be like, you've like 20 minutes left 50 whatever you've got you've taken you 10 minutes to get to there. So we knew how much time we had and I knew how long it took us to get to the first pontoon. And it was like 1010 minutes or 20 minutes took a long time for us to get to the first one. And then you have to beat the drop somebody off. And obviously, if you get off, the implication is, well, you're a traitor because you're not scared of not having a shield, right? Yeah. So like Dorinda gets off immediately, who's a housewife, Robin gets off, Bob the Drag Queen gets off. So in my mind, I'm like, anyone who like wants to get off and I in gets off, I'm like, anyone who wants to get off,
Starting point is 00:13:45 and Ayan gets off, but Ayan has no idea what's going on. I had to explain the rules of the game to her. I can't tell you how many times. I love her to death, but she had, I was in a car with her with a producer who was like, I have to read you these rules, you have to sign it. And she would not stop talking to me. And she was there like, you need to listen.
Starting point is 00:14:01 And she was like, I can do both. I can do things at the same time. And I was like, I think you need to listen to these rules. But then. And she was like, I can do both, I can do these at the same time. And I was like, I think you need to listen to these rules. But then afterwards she like was like, Well, what is going on? Well, if you listen to the rules. The thought is that if you get off, you probably are a traitor
Starting point is 00:14:15 because you don't care about getting immunity, right? Right. Well, I would get off because I wouldn't want to have to fricking row. Yeah, that's true. Cause it was so windy that it was, we were like going nowhere. And every time someone got off, we were losing power.
Starting point is 00:14:30 You know, I've heard a lot of the guys were like, girls need to get off because the guys are stronger. And then that became like this whole like, girls are just as strong as boys. And it became one of those things. And so I kept my mouth shut. But the third pontoon, I raised my hand. I go, hey guys, if anyone can do a better job
Starting point is 00:14:48 than what I'm doing, I will get off because I do think it's kind of fucked up that like only girls are getting off. And everyone unanimously was like, no, you're doing a good job, shut the fuck up. We'll deal with this down here. So I was like, okay. I put that out there just for like, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:15:02 I don't know why I did it. I just felt bad. The girls were getting really upset and I just felt bad. But anyways, they cut that. But anyways, I was doing the math in my head. The reason why we didn't, we came back early was because it took us so long to get to the first pontoon and we all, it took us like eight minutes
Starting point is 00:15:18 to get to the first one. Now we were like four down and we only had like 22 minutes to get back. And in my mind, I'm like, okay, well, the first pontoon took eight minutes. So that means technically, you know, 16, 17 minutes to get to two. We're like four back.
Starting point is 00:15:33 I don't know if we're gonna have enough time to get back. So that was my mind of if we don't get any money back and it's $0, you know? Right. So I was of the opinion of like, it sucks. We're gonna lose this 20 K or whatever it is. But if we don't make it back in time, then we lose everything. And that seems shitty. And then also no one wanted to get off those
Starting point is 00:15:50 pontoons. So Alan, they cut it out. But Alan was like, you could have done it. And I was like, I don't know if we could have I fired back because I was the kind of the person in charge. And I was like, I think it was the smart play. Because if we didn't make it back out, we would have we'd have had nothing to show for and everyone would have, we'd have had nothing to show for it and everyone would have been up for, you know, banishment or whatever, murder.
Starting point is 00:16:10 So no, I disagree. And so you hear me say like, I feel like I just got scolded by my parents because he like yelled at me like, no, you're gonna have time. And I was like, I don't think so. Also, that was the choice we had. Dad, chill the fuck out, man. They do a screwed up thing.
Starting point is 00:16:24 They make the people who got off on the pontoon, they make them stay there for a very long time. I know. And we didn't know that was going to happen. We thought, OK, we'll get a boat. They'll bring it back and we'll all get the thing. But they make them stay out there and make us leave, right? Yeah. They were like, all right.
Starting point is 00:16:40 In our minds, we think like they're done for the day. When they send us back to the house, they make us put on our like nice clothes or whatever, they feed us dinner. And then of course, they bring back, everyone was on a pontoon, they're still in like their black like workout gear and they're all pissed off.
Starting point is 00:16:58 And like, you guys have changed already, you guys have all taken showers and you've eaten. So like, it's made us, made them be mad at us. Where of course we're all just like, we were just listening to what they told us to do. You know? Yeah. That's my argument the whole time was like,
Starting point is 00:17:14 guys, I'm just doing what I'm told to do here. I'm just trying not to be the squeaky wheel. So anyways, they come back, they're angry that the food's gone. I'm sitting there being like, tell Crafty to fucking make some more. What are we talking about here? I say that out loud.
Starting point is 00:17:29 I'm like, production, can we get some more fucking food in here? Like some warm food for them? You know, like I'd be pissed too. Yeah, you're like, it can't be that hard. Yeah, but of course it's, you know, it's they're making a TV show. Yeah, they're meddling.
Starting point is 00:17:43 For sure. All right, y'all know I've been raving about my skims bras and underwear for literally ever It's all I keep in my drawers these days. The material is just so stretchy and supportive Everything I have is so comfortable and they even have the cutest little matching sets that I got recently My go-to products are the fits everybody dipped dipped front thong, telling you guys I wear these under everything. But Dorinda comes in there all hot and bothered and I'm like, Dorinda, tell Crafty to make you a fucking plate. What are we talking about here? But anyway, she goes off, dude. Then they don't show a lot of it,
Starting point is 00:20:20 but she goes off really at Iver, because Iver was like, the girls need to get off the boat because they're weak. And it was like this whole thing. And it was, she goes off so hard that everyone's like, this was a little much. They didn't show it as much, but like, we all were like, this is a little over the top. Like, what did you want us to do?
Starting point is 00:20:40 And also you're the first person to get off, lady. Like calm down. So we all went to bed being like, first of all, the thought was there's definitely a housewife who is a trader just from law of averages, right? So we were like, I think that Dorinda's, everyone was like, we think that Dorinda's a trader because she went crazy.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Definitely one of the, like kind of overacted a little bit. Definitely one of the housewives is a traitor. So we all kind of left going to bed being like, we're all gonna probably vote for Dorinda to be banished. Like that was the sentiment. Now watching it back, it's funny because the traders don't talk about that or say anything about that. I know.
Starting point is 00:21:21 So the next day, you know, we come to breakfast and we find out that Dorinda has been murdered, right? So if they were smart, wouldn't they have murdered someone else so that Dorinda still had a target on her back? That was my whole thing. Here's my mistake, is that I said it out loud. But in my mind, I'm like, that's dumb, man,
Starting point is 00:21:38 because we were going to banish her tonight. I would say 90% chance she was gonna get banished. So I was like, this doesn't make any sense. Like, why would you banish her tonight. I would say 90% chance she was gonna get banished. So I was like, this doesn't make any sense. Why would you banish someone that's already going to be banished? If anything, you should banish somebody that one maybe puts more of a target on Dorinda's back, I guess, or puts a target on somebody else's back.
Starting point is 00:22:03 So that was my whole thing of like, that was dumb, right? I say it out loud. I'm like, that was dumb. I feel like we were all gonna banish her. Almost everyone agreed with me. They were like, Yeah, I don't really understand. And so, you know, I'm sitting in that one room and Robin and Sam come in and they're like, What did you think? And I was like, I think it was dumb. I think we were gonna banish her. And they got so defensive. Like we think it's really smart. And I was like, oh, that moment where I was like, oh. I think we were gonna banish her. And they got so defensive. We think it's really smart.
Starting point is 00:22:25 And I was like, oh. That moment where I was like, oh, I've pissed off somebody. The problem is if you don't really know me, I guess, kind of everything that comes out of my mouth is like a half of a joke, right? And so I was like, I think it's kind of dumb. And they got really defensive. No, we think it's really smart.
Starting point is 00:22:41 And I was like, okay, I hope you're not this dumb to be a traitor and to be defensive, like defending the traders from faithful saying that their move was stupid. The mood in the room changed. And like everyone that I was talking to felt it. And I was like, okay. And so I did the thing of like, I'm out of here.
Starting point is 00:23:00 You know, like get the fuck out of here. And I feel like everyone in the room, except for Robin and Sam, felt how I felt. They were like, oh, that was really weird. I leave the room and whatever, and then it's not long afterwards that we like go and do this challenge. And it's this challenge where like these three, you know,
Starting point is 00:23:17 people hanging from these cages where I need to collect all these coins. At that moment, I'm gonna get murdered by a traitor because I have said that they were stupid. And I visibly saw someone who I think now is a traitor be upset, you know? So I was like, fuck, they're gonna, all I was concerned about was getting a shield, right?
Starting point is 00:23:39 Immunity. And you almost got one. Oh, I had it, I had it. I know, he said it. I know. Hummer. So we do do this thing and it really, between Dylan and myself, no one busted their ass harder in this challenge
Starting point is 00:23:52 than Dylan and I. They showed a lot of other people putting tokens in Wes's thing. That's not what happened. I would say I put 90% of these tokens in there. And then I also convinced Ian to put them in too, because I was like, I know him, we wanna be on his team. And I had a plan. I could tell no one was trying to get him
Starting point is 00:24:10 down. I was familiar with him, with Wes, I knew I wanted to have an alliance with him. And I had a plan to trap a traitor. Basically, single handedly get Wes down. Wes is like to me, he's like, I'm going to give you this. But they say you have to wait until after the banishment to get Wes down. Wes is like to me, he's like, I'm gonna give you this. But they say you have to wait until after the banishment to get it. That sucks. They didn't show this, but I had this conversation with Ayan.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Ayan was really smart. For as like flighty and as like, doesn't seem like she knows what's going on. She was like, I think that Bob the Drag Queen is a traitor. And I was like, no way. I was like, I think it's Robin. I'm pretty sure, no way. I was like, I think it's Robin. I'm pretty sure it's Robin. I was like, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:24:47 I'm pretty sure Wes is going to give me the shield. I want you to tell everyone that you got it. And tonight they won't come and they won't murder you. And they're gonna try to murder me. And when they can't murder me because I have the shield, then I'll know it's Robin. This was my plan but obviously Robin wasn't a traitor so like it was it was stupid but I thought for sure. Dylan also thought like Dylan and I both were like Robin this is fucking weird right?
Starting point is 00:25:16 Yeah well she's not very likable that's for sure you know what I mean? Yeah. I guess like if she was a traitor maybe she wouldn't have been so outspoken. I'm not really sure, you know? Well, here's the thing. It was Bob the Drag Queen who was the traitor and he was the most outspoken. He just kind of- Well, I know, but I, yeah, that's true. But I feel like he, that's just like his personality.
Starting point is 00:25:36 I feel like he can't help himself, you know? Yeah, I don't know. That was my plan. And I thought it was a pretty good one. We're now like maybe 20 minutes from having to go do the roundtable. At no point has anyone been like, people are saying your name, right? And about 15 minutes beforehand Dylan because he goes
Starting point is 00:25:53 man, I'm hearing your name a lot. And I was like, what? And he's like, Yeah, man, I don't know. Like, I think he's like, I don't think you're a traitor. I'm not gonna vote for you. But like, you need to go start doing some like campaigning. And I was like, okay You go like see your case and so I start going out to be like talk to who I think is coming after me or whatever and Immediately like stop no more talking
Starting point is 00:26:16 We're going to the you know, we're going to the thing and I was like, ah the second I find out that like people are Saying my name. I'm not allowed to go talk to anybody, you know So I was like, all right. So we go into the thing and I could feel it. I was like, they're coming. For some reason they're coming after me. Kind of immediately, Bob the Drag Queen's like, you know, you've always been cold to me or something.
Starting point is 00:26:40 He said something to that effect. You know, something's just not right. Looking back, I'm so annoyed. If I ever do the game again, my gut is always right about people. Oh, for sure. It was really frustrating with Bob the Drag Queen because Sarah went to high school
Starting point is 00:26:56 with Bob the Drag Queen's podcast co-host. Oh, okay. Bob the Drag Queen obviously has been on RuPaul. Sarah has been a judge on RuPaul. She knows like Bob's co-host really well. Sarah was replacing Jinx Monsoon on Broadway for Little Shop of whom was friends with. I had all these, I was going up to him to try,
Starting point is 00:27:19 I had all these things to talk to him about. And he was so cold to me, like never wanted to chat. And I was like, I will concede that like, I'm not everyone's cup of tea, but I remember being like, this is really hard. Like I'm making an effort with this person and I feel like I'm just like, they just do not wanna be my friend.
Starting point is 00:27:39 And that's okay. That's the thing that like really annoyed me the most is he was like, you've been really cold and they cut it all out. But I was like, that's bullshit. I have tried to talk to you so much. And then I went through, I was like, I tried to talk to you about Jinx Monsoon. I tried to talk to you about RuPaul's Drag Race,
Starting point is 00:27:53 but my wife was on it. I was like, all these things I tried to relate with you with and you will not talk to me and now I'm the guy who's cold? So looking back, I'm like, I should have totally known that you were a traitor because that's a lie. I know I wasn't those things to you. Right.
Starting point is 00:28:12 But anyways, I digress. So Robin comes after me and to this day, I maintain that it was a dumb move. I know. Yeah, I agree. Why would you murder someone? We were going to banish. I think that's stupid. I thought I had the votes actually, I really did.
Starting point is 00:28:28 And then it came down to Carolyn who was a traitor and so they got me out, which I think I was still right that like the traders wanted me out because one, everyone's like, you're a leader, you're the steerer of the boat. I do think that they wanted me out. And so it made sense that like Carolyn was the one who like got me out because I do think that they wanted me out. And so it made sense that like, Carolyn was the one who like got me out
Starting point is 00:28:46 because I'm sure that they talked and they were like, if we have an opportunity, let's get Wells out for sure, which I think was good on them. The thing that Robin said to me is something to the effect of like, sometimes you're you're on and sometimes you're off or whatever, like something seemed off about you. I told everyone this to their face and this is another problem. No offense, but I've done more reality TV shows
Starting point is 00:29:12 than you have, like episodes. The way that I work on those shows is that when we're not filming, I'm fucking chilling. I'm not wasting energy, like being super social or like joking around or like burning good jokes that could be on the show, you know? And also production doesn't want you to talk to anybody when you're not filming.
Starting point is 00:29:36 And so I'm always been like a good little soldier, like not gonna talk, you know? And that was what they were saying is that I'm different when the cameras are on than when they're not. And I'm like, yeah, of course I am. Yeah, you're like, we're making a TV show. We're making a TV show guys. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:51 And also I'm a radio host. I'm not really funny until the microphone's fucking on. Yeah. I'm not wasting this on no one listening. My exit I think was dumb. So I thought for sure that Robin was a traitor. I also like at the end of it, I was like, Bob and Robin are, they're out to get me.
Starting point is 00:30:15 It's obvious that they're both traitors. I was 50% right. But that's why I say like playing a smart game isn't always a smartest. Cause I was like, all I was saying was that they were being dumb and I got killed. So, you know, me thinking I was smart or smarter than the traders was dumb. And I should have shut the fuck up. All right, Brandy, there's a lot freaking happening these days with fires in Los Angeles or politics or just whatever your day to day troubles are can feel

Well, cue that you're, $5. Yeah, well. Cue that you're, shut the fuck up bitch, shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up bitch. Shut the fuck up, but in my ass. Oh, that was that one.
Starting point is 00:35:13 From an opinion that came out of your ass. Shut the fuck up. That's what I should have shut the fucked up. Yeah, exactly. It was just really fresh. Well, I'm sad because now I'm not gonna watch the show. Same, bro. I'm done watching it too.
Starting point is 00:35:26 Yeah. I also kind of know what happens, but you know. Well, I don't know. I just, for me, like, this is the first time I ever watched Traders. And I just, I think the show could be a lot better if they would get like smarter people on the show. It's a lot of duds to me, you know?
Starting point is 00:35:44 I would say that I got kicked out so quickly that like you didn't, there was no character development for anybody. But if you go back and watch like old seasons, like pilot Pete's a good example of like someone who's like really smart and like sets traps and stuff. I don't think we're there yet. Like I know Wes, I know Rob, Boston Rob,
Starting point is 00:36:05 like those guys are really, really smart. Okay. Dylan is very, Dylan's really smart. We didn't see much of them. Dylan's just so quiet. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but he, he knows what, like I remember being like, you and I, we are. I feel like he would have been a good trader
Starting point is 00:36:21 because he is quiet. Yeah. And I just feel like he seems so sweet and innocent that he could have been a good trader because he is quiet. And I just feel like he seems so sweet and innocent that he could have been a good trader and fooled everybody. It's funny, because Alan asked you, do you want to be a trader or not? And I think this is where I made my mistake. I was indifferent.
Starting point is 00:36:35 I was like, yeah, it would be fun to be a trader because obviously the informed few always have the upper hand over the uninformed masses. So I was like, I would like, yeah, sure. But also I'm a good judge of character. I like, I'm likable. So like, I'll go either way. I should have gone in there and been like,
Starting point is 00:36:57 please let me be a traitor, you know? If nothing else, then I'll get more screen time, I guess. But I didn't do that. But I definitely thought for sure they're gonna pick me one. I thought for sure they're gonna make me one. That's so funny. And what's really funny is that some traders, it sits next to me in the thing.
Starting point is 00:37:14 And when they were going around, I heard someone get touched right next to me. And I went, I moved my head and they didn't show it. Cause obviously you're not supposed to like notice anything. But I was like, oh, and then of course I totally forgot about that. And like never use that as like, as a thing. Also the only other thing that really annoyed me so much
Starting point is 00:37:34 Tom Sandoval will not stop talking. And nothing that he said made any sense. No one cared. His, what he was saying was not gonna change anyone's mind about anything. And I was just like, Tom, shut up. Yeah, he's all over the place. I'm the one who's gonna get banished here. Stop talking about Chris Shell,
Starting point is 00:37:53 the way that she looked after she took, shut up, dude. I was so, I remember being like, stop talking, please. No one is listening to you. I need to focus on helping me, not you. Anyways. That's funny. Yeah. Well, it was a good run.
Starting point is 00:38:08 You know, it was good while it lasted. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know, there it is. Do you have any questions for me? I don't think so. Yeah. You don't need to save things, bro. Yeah, bro. What do you got?
Starting point is 00:38:19 Are you caught up on silo? Kind of. So no. I got to be honest with you. I'm kind of over it, guys. Okay, so was I. Yeah. I thought this whole season was so damn slow.
Starting point is 00:38:30 Yeah. And I was not loving it. And now there's only one episode left in the season that airs at the end of this week. Yeah. So I'm caught up and this last episode was good. And it finally, like finally things started happening and I was back invested.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Do you know what it reminds me of? Tell me. Her being stuck in the other silo, doing all these side quests with Solo and stuff. You remember in House the Dragon, when What's His Name was stuck at Heron Hall forever? Oh yeah, yeah. It reminds me of that where I'm like,
Starting point is 00:39:03 I don't care about this. I know. Like, let's just have the storyline be, she's gone. I don't give a fuck about all these side quests she has to go with solo. I wanna know what's happening in the silo. Same, but in this last episode, something happens at the very end
Starting point is 00:39:23 that totally just recharges the story. And all of a sudden I'm back, I'm invested in it. And I'm like, holy shit, what is that? I need to know what the T is on that. I'm back in. I would say stick with it because they're gearing up for like this, you know, last episode to be great. Yeah, it better be.
Starting point is 00:39:41 I finished Squid Game. I loved it. A really good way of having this second season. I was like, how are you going to do this again? But I loved the way that they did it. My only complaint is it ends after seven episodes and it ends kind of like, wait, but what happened? It's a little bit of a big cliffhanger. And I guess the next season is coming up this year, so I guess we don't have to wait that long for it. Again, like Stroke of Genius, I love the way that they went about it. I kept on being like, not to like ruin anything, but I was like, they have so many more people. Why don't they just
Starting point is 00:40:17 bum rush the guards, take the guns? You know, like what are you doing? Because it's a show, else. Well, it's also because there's a lot of people there that want to keep playing for money. Yeah, and it's just such a good commentary on greed and you know, nothing's ever good enough. And you know, how quickly your motivations and your valor changes when a little bit of money
Starting point is 00:40:40 is dangled in front of you. It's so good in that respect. There's spies in there and there's heroes and villains. It's a very well-made show. I highly recommend Squid Game Season Two. The only problem is you're gonna get to the end of episode seven and you're gonna be like, it's over? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Okay, did you ever watch ER when you were young? Yes, oh, this is with Noah Noah or his name is Noah on ER. Well, his real name is Noah. Oh, it is? Noah Weill. Yeah. Well, this one's called like The Pit or something, right? Yeah, it's called The Pit. It's on HBO. And essentially it's New Age ER, but it's either the creator or the producer.
Starting point is 00:41:24 I can't remember. It's somebody that created or produced original ER is doing this show. And then Noah Weil, I think is how you say his last name, was in ER. And he's the star of this show, which is crazy because he was so young in ER. And now he's older and it's just wild, full circle moment. I was so young, but I lived for ER. I lived for er like I lived for it. And this is so good. There's only two episodes out episodes are coming out weekly, which is so annoying because
Starting point is 00:41:51 I'm hooked. But if you love a medical drama, highly, highly recommend and because it's HBO, I guess like there are there's some gory shit nice like they show some crazy shit and like I've had to close my eyes two or three times. Nice. I that's I think such a good idea because I thought that was the one thing that was missing, you know, was like, one've had to close my eyes two or three times. Nice. That's, I think, such a good idea, because I thought that was the one thing that was missing, you know, was like, one of the big things about working in a hospital
Starting point is 00:42:10 is how fucking horrid it is, you know? And gruesome. And when you can't show that, you're missing, oh yeah, like I'm watching this clip right now and you see like inside someone's heart. Yeah. From John Wells, executive producers of er and the West Wing, the daily lives of healthcare professionals in a
Starting point is 00:42:30 Pittsburgh hospital, as they juggle personal crises, work plate work, workplace politics, and the emotional toll of treating critically ill patients revealing the resilience required in their noble calling the pit Pit starring Noah Wild, not Wile, Noah Wild. Yeah, Wile I think. I really like, let's see, I think his name's Patrick Ball. Yep. I don't know anything else he's been,
Starting point is 00:42:56 but I love his character in this. I think he's really, really good. I just, I was so shocked about how hooked I was so quickly with this. Nice, all right. Yeah. I love that, and you just love a medical drama. I freaking love it.
Starting point is 00:43:09 And you know, Grey's Anatomy has just really gone down the drain, so I'm loving this. I started watching something that I'm not sure about yet. Okay. It's called American Primeval. Oh, I've been wanting to watch this, but someone told me that it was just like really dark and like a really tough watch.
Starting point is 00:43:27 And I was scared that it would keep me up at night and like haunt me. I don't know if it'll haunt you, but I would agree with them. It is very dark. I mean, it's a Western and I love Westerns. And Taylor Kitsch is in it. Taylor Kitsch is in it.
Starting point is 00:43:41 Peter Burr, the guy who did, I think Peter Burr did like Friday Night Lights and stuff. Yeah, he did. It's on Netflix. It follows the gritty and adventurous exploration of the birth of the American West, the violent collisions of cults, religion, and men and women fighting for control of the new world American primeval only on Netflix. So it's all kind of predicated around Betty Gilpin, who was in glow, I think. And
Starting point is 00:44:11 she's like a Mormon trying to get to her husband out in Utah. And she's like trying to employ, you know, someone to like give her safe passage. But obviously, that's an issue because it's really dangerous territory and people are pieces of garbage. So that's like the main story and then Taylor Kitsch's story is linked to that but also like his own story and then there's like this whole kind of part of it that's like about the Mormon religion and the Mormon militia and and that's kind of interesting. The
Starting point is 00:44:43 only thing that's tough is I feel like that he's trying to do kind of what House of the Dragon did, which was like, there's all the or even like Game of Thrones, like there's all these different storylines and they're all kind of connected, but then also kind of not connected. So you want them to be connected, but they kind of aren't, maybe they will be later, but it's really kind of
Starting point is 00:45:05 fractured, I guess, is the way that I would put it. See, that was my thoughts on Kevin Costner's Western. See, I didn't even watch that. It's called Horizon. Yeah. That was my same complaint. It was like too many stories to kind of all over the place that like were sort of connected, but not.
Starting point is 00:45:18 And yeah, it was just a lot. Yeah, I'm through the first episode, so I need more time with it. I think it has the potential of being really, really good. It's beautifully shot. Is it violent? Like pretty violent? Kinda. It's just more of like just... It's just, you know, a lot of Westerns, you're just like, ugh, it would suck to live there.
Starting point is 00:45:37 Yeah. Muddy and people are dying all the time and like everyone's a dick. And then everyone's broke. I do like the Mormon part of it, cause you know. You love a Mormon story. I love a Mormon story. It's funny like there's these Mormons come in,
Starting point is 00:45:51 they got all these wives, you know. Oh yeah. Shop owners like talking shit being like, how many you got? You know? And if I was a shop owner at those times, I would say the same, I would ask the same questions. Yeah, you'd want to know.
Starting point is 00:46:04 I need to know. What's the tea? What's the tea, how many wines you got? And then I watched a movie last night that I can't say was good, but I didn't hate it. Okay. It's called Subservience. Oh, I think I've watched the preview for this.
Starting point is 00:46:22 Yeah, so it's Megan Fox. Oh yeah, yeah I have. Okay, didn this. Yeah, so it's Megan Fox. Oh, yeah, I have. Okay, didn't love, didn't hate. Not sure. I think the... Yeah, it's not great, okay? But it's not terrible if you're a boy and wanting to see Megan Fox in her bra and underwear a good bit. Okay, well... You know?
Starting point is 00:46:42 Sure. Follows a struggling father who purchases a domestic sim to help care for his house and family. Unaware, she will gain awareness and turn deadly. Megan Fox in subservience. So it takes place in the future. The father is a foreman. The mother has a heart issue and she needs a heart transplant.
Starting point is 00:47:04 So she's in the hospital waiting for a heart transplant. He's back at home with two kids. He needs some help. He goes to this expo where they have robots. They have an AI. The daughter runs into Megan Fox's AI kind of falls in love with her, take her home. It's so fact.
Starting point is 00:47:20 So she's now kind of like their nanny, right? So Megan Fox is a robot and her whole thing is like her whole directive is like, anything to help you out, sir. Like you are my boss, like you're the main person I answer to, anything to help you, anything to serve you, anything to make your life easier. So he's watching Casablanca. She walks in and he's like, have you ever seen this?
Starting point is 00:47:43 And she's like, I know what it's about. And she kind of like gives the description. He goes, OK, I know that you know, like you can use the Internet. You know what it is, but have you seen it? And she goes, I don't know what the difference is. And he goes, OK, I want you to delete the information you have of this movie. And she's like, OK, if you do that, you have to like reset my knob on my back or whatever. And he's like, OK.
Starting point is 00:48:04 So he does that. So then she loses all memory or whatever of Casablanca. They sit down, they watch it. And then like afterwards, you know, as the movie goes on, like she starts like coming onto him. And she kind of uses a thing of like, you're stressed out. You need to like let off some steam, hand job. You know, like, oh my God,
Starting point is 00:48:21 your wife didn't get the heart transplant, blowy. Oh my God, stuff, crazy stuff is happening at work. Sexy time. So as a man, you're like, yeah, this is pretty great. As a viewer of good movies, not the best. I will say this though, Megan Fox is really good at playing a robot. She does have really good, like, you can see, you see like the thought that she put into like what would a robot do
Starting point is 00:48:48 Here how she how she kind of turns how she was her eyes and stuff So anyways, it's it's it's not the best movie I've ever seen but it's not the worst movie ever seen I'm not gonna watch it. I don't think you are Yeah, no, but Megan Fox still got it. Yeah. Yeah, you know, it's just weird though, because you know, when she was younger, she had such thin eyebrows and now she's got the thickest eyebrows. She probably draws them on. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:12 That's how old she is. That's a really sad thing. That's how old she is, is that she was around for the time in which thin eyebrows were big. Isn't she like my age or is she older? That's you're old. Sorry. No, is she my age? She's probably my age.
Starting point is 00:49:24 38. Whoa, we share a birthday. It's the time in which thin eyebrows are big. Isn't she like my age or is she older? You're old, sorry. No, is she my age? She's probably my age, 38. Whoa, we share a birthday! I'm 37, you do? May 16th! Oh wow, look at you. Whoa!
Starting point is 00:49:36 Wait a second, she was born in Tennessee. She was? That's what this says. Yeah, that's so weird. I did not know that. You know what movie I want to watch is The Substance. What's that? It won a bunch of Golden Globes. It's Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley.
Starting point is 00:49:54 Oh yeah. A fading celebrity takes a black market drug, a cell replacing substance that temporary creates younger, better version of herself. The Substance. That's kind of what Demi Moore did, I feel like. Remember her... that Temprae creates younger, better version of herself. The substance. Well, it's kind of what Demi Moore did, I feel like. Remember her? Her... She looks amazing. So good.
Starting point is 00:50:10 And do you remember like, her cheekbones are all weird, how they done the, her, I don't know, last job or whatnot and... Yeah, well she looks great now, that's all I know. Dude, they've got it figured out. Truly. It's good for us, you know,
Starting point is 00:50:23 we're getting older, but they'll fix us. Totally. Little Zempic, little a fucking Botox, some filler, bada bada boom, we're pretty again. You wanna hear a joke? I would love nothing more. All right, what's the difference between a pick pocket and a peeping Tom?
Starting point is 00:50:39 Tell me. Well, a pick pocket snatches watches. And? A peepingpocket snatches watches. And? A peeping Tom watches snatches. Wow. I thought you would get it and start laughing before I had to give you the punchline. Wow.
Starting point is 00:51:00 You know how much I love your jokes? Number one fan. Ew. You know how much I love your jokes. Number one fan. There we go. That took you way too long. Yeah. Okay, so there is no secret Brandy that you like to use the word true a lot. True.
Starting point is 00:51:22 You use it all the time. Well, a lot of things are true. Listen, it's your thing. I get it. But I got sent this by my wife and I was dying. Let's see it. True, true, true, true, true, true. So that video, that original video is, it's some interview, but there's another video that's been going around for way longer where, and it's got a funny caption where it says
Starting point is 00:51:56 like anytime I hear rumors about myself and it's like true, true. And it's fucking hilarious. So I guess my question is, is that who came up with true? Was it, was it Miley or was it you? Miley did. Not M No Miley, 100% Miley. Oh so he's ripped her off? Yeah. I think I got a new sound bite. This was sent to us by YFT here. I'm kind of liking it. Tell me what you think. Yeah, that's a love language. It's my love language. Yeah. That's a good one. Lengthy, but good.
Starting point is 00:52:51 I think I'll just cut it to like, being an asshole is my love language. Just that. Anytime we like talk about someone being a jerk, just boom. You know? I like that. Justin Baldoni, boom.
Starting point is 00:53:04 Being an asshole. Blake Baldoni, boom. Being an asshole. Blake Lively, boom. Being an asshole. Fires in fucking the palisades. Boom. Being an asshole. Fucking Robin kicking me off Traders. Boom.
Starting point is 00:53:16 Being an asshole. Bob the Drag Queen saying that I'm not a fucking nice person. Puh. saying that I'm not a fucking nice person. Pfft. ["Being an Asshole Is My Love Languages"] I'm lovely to be around. Can you tell how nice I am? Ha ha ha. Bob the Drag Queen though, is the full entertainment of that show.
Starting point is 00:53:39 For sure. I'm amazed that I didn't recognize that he was a traitor first. To be like, anyone who's willing to be this over the top has got to, of course, beg to be a fucking trader. You know? Totally, yeah. But his fucking outfits kill me and his one-liners, the one-liner he said about like, no one keeps his secrets like a royal.
Starting point is 00:54:02 I was dying. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, too freaking good. Yeah. He's funny. You wanna listen to some music? Sure. What do you got?
Starting point is 00:54:10 I got some bangs. Okay. I've kinda been into some lady bands recently. Okay, we love that. This is a band called Addy, Addy, Addy. This is a song called Turn the Lights Out that I liked a lot. Check it out.
Starting point is 00:54:46 Shave the pussy cause I can't afford a wax. Don't lights out that I liked a lot if you want some I share I care I'm generous I fuck I suck loose generous I got good luck I'm on the list at the art show I'm a goddamn monolith All I wanna do is fucking kiss you, fucking miss you Thoughts? I thought, yeah, I like, hey, listen, you can push the brownies with me, I'm cool. Can we, because usually your shit all sounds the same, but. I know.
Starting point is 00:55:14 Yeah, and then I really like this one. This is Orla Gartland, Backseat Driver. Really digging on this. No one likes an angry girl, no one likes a liar. this. The next thing I know, told a version of the truth And it got out of control Oh, oh, oh, oh Guilt is like a bad apple runnin' to the core Oh, oh, oh The 80s are back, baby.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Clearly. You like that? Yeah, I liked it. I think it's good, man. All right, I'll do one more. This is Adam Melcher, Mount Joy, and I think a couple other people. This is called Room on Your Shoulder. We can go out on it. What's going on with you? Dylan, my mom's still here. Yeah. We're recording a lot of

Taking care of the dog. I think I'm about to house a bunch of people in LA as well. So I think I need to be kind of around for that for a little bit.
Starting point is 00:56:47 And then just like let them know I house. But yeah, that's kind of it. I'm going to Orlando in a couple of weeks for this golf tournament with Ben and Joey and a bunch of people. So if you're out in Lake Nona at the end of the month in the beginning of next, I'll be there. But yeah, I'm just chilling.
