It's the Friday feels and we're back with your first sip of the weekend.
You're now tuned in to this week's episode of your happy hour.
I'm your host Nicole Carmine and it's amazing to have you here joining me this week as we
uncover the truths about being a human and a working professional.
What are you up to this Friday?
Well whatever it is, this moment is just for you. It is a new month. Welcome to June 2025. And of course, that means we are kickstarting a new
theme to dig our hearts, our minds and our energy into. And I cannot believe that it is our very,
very last theme of the season. But for a few special episodes, we've got planned in July. Stay tuned for those. We are fast approaching the end of
another seven months of being together on this podcast. So
time has literally darted off into the distance. I feel like
at the speed of light. So what are we going to talk about to
end off what has been a magical season of talking about
being human, about all the stuff that makes it so wonderful, so hard, so magical, and just really
interesting. So we decided that we wanted to unpack a theme this month called In the Mirrors
of the World. Now at the time that I was crafting our seasons preparations this
was a hot topic on my mind and I started to realize how much of what is going on
outside of us is a product of what is mulling around inside of us and our
bodies our minds our hearts and it's not always so easy to admit it I think that
our external reality can be well and I
think really much in my mind is a direct reflection of our internal realities so
I thought let's get a little curious about how the lenses of life define who
we are maybe you thinking about how you see yourself reflected in the world
around you and are you experiencing yourself reflected in the world around you.
Are you experiencing being human through the mirrors of the world around you?
And so today I could not have asked for a better human and guest to kickstart this theme with.
A very special friend, a wonderful coach, an incredible energy healer, and just a very, very in touch human.
A very big welcome to you, Noor Shabu, to the Friday Field Space and the Your Happy
Hour podcast.
Thank you so much for the invitation for this discussion that I can't wait to have with you and for this deep and profound topic
and theme that you will probably dive in our discussion. It's an honor for me to be here
with you. Thank you for the introduction and for your words.
Of course, of course. And so I've really had the privilege before us having this podcast to have a session with
you and to just get to know you a little bit better and to have gotten to know you in Paris
has been a privilege.
And thanks to Alex, a few episodes back, for introducing us.
So I'm curious, maybe you can just tell us a little bit about your journey, but also
what does this topic mean to you when we think about the mirrors of the world?
You've lived an interesting journey, you've traveled a lot too, and lived different lives.
So yeah, just tell us a little bit about yourself so people can get to know you.
Yes.
So I've been thinking how I will be introduced myself and it's really hard to put myself
on one label.
I would say I'm a multi-faceted person.
I am a leadership coach, I'm an energy healer, but I used to be a project manager, an engineer
in the corporate world in my last years.
I also traveled a lot and I guess I had a really
corporate journey with a lot of projects and now I'm an entrepreneur with another journey
and I'm going to unite both of them and this is how I can define myself.
For me it's not one label. I'm not only an energy healer or coach. I'm a human
being that I'm discovering myself more and more and I can wait to see
what's coming to me in the next years.
I'm very excited for you, for your journey as well.
And I also think it's really interesting
that you've had such a combination of worlds.
I mean, I kind of come from corporate
and turned coach, turned artist as well, so I get it.
But it's not a common thing to go from engineering
to healing and to where you are now.
I'm curious about, you mentioned,
it's hard to define yourself.
And in light of the topic that we're talking about,
do you feel that what you have seen play out in your life
has been a reflection of what you've had inside of you
or who you are as a person.
Has that mirrored for you or do you feel like it's a bit unrelated?
I mean, I know what you probably feel related to what your work is,
but what has been your discovery of that, I guess?
Yeah, thank you for the question.
It's been a long journey for me for that because I was really focused in looking for answers outside trying to change everything outside of me, my environment, my job, everything that was
outside of me. But actually, once I start to look inside yes, every, I love that answer that I got one time from a therapist that
I said, I told him, I feel stuck in my home, in my apartment. It's too tiny for me in my
apartment. And he said, what is stuck inside of you? What does it feel tiny in yourself?
And actually everything that we project in our outsides,
it's actually is how we feel inside.
It's actually when we see it that way,
it's easier to understand ourselves,
is easier to understand ourselves, it's easier to define ourselves, it's easier
to bring change. And actually everything outside is answers to what is happening inside of
us. And in term of relationship, it's amazing, because sometimes we blame others or relationships, but our relationship with
others is a reflection of our relationship with ourselves.
This morning I had a client in an energy healing session and she had a difficult
relation with her mom and she felt judged with her mom and she said I don't
want to do that with my daughter I don't want to judge her I don't want to I want
her to feel comfortable and I told her do you you judge yourself? And she said yes all the time and said this is
the work you have to do because the less you bring compassion to you, love to you and less
judgment is going to be naturally to do it with your daughter. But it starts with ourselves. So for me it's
everything it's about how is our relationship with ourselves even with we
are in in love relationship and we seek for love we seek for attention we seek
we seek for respect. Do you respect yourself enough? Do you set your boundaries? Do you bring love
and compassion to yourself? And that will reflect into your relationships. So for me,
the world outside is like a loop of what happens inside of us to get more aligned to understand each other, as I said.
And actually, it's a gift.
But if we just blame the outside and we don't take that advantage and opportunity to understand deeply ourselves,
it's kind of pity because we don't have the
right answers.
I love that. Thank you for sharing all of that. I think you've really framed it so nicely
because I think it was a journey I've gone on too and still very much learning about is being able to see the mirrors, see the reflection and then I guess
the hard part is being able to acknowledge that that is what you've created in your life.
You know, it's like this is what I'm choosing to see, this is what I'm choosing to be worthy of,
this is what I choose to deserve and that I want in my life. So it's really easy to blame other people I think and
The circumstances and you know, but we do have free will and so we are very much creators of our
Humanity and of our life in your journey of creating what you've done and where you are,
did you think that 10 years ago when you were where you were you'd be doing what you're doing
today and how did that come upon your path? Let me ask that like how did you what was the
mirror to be like hey you need a change? Yeah I would never have imagined even one second that I will be doing what I'm doing
now or living the life that I'm living now.
And actually, at the end, I did what I used to judge like wasting your life. Ten years ago, if I had a tiny picture of what I am today
I said no way, she's crazy, she's wasting her life, I would never do that. But it happens
because when sometimes we cannot ignore anymore that tiny voice that we have inside of us.
And actually I was in that situation in my 30 and I was in a good company that I felt really good in it and I got promoted and I was 30, I was in Paris, I had friends, I met someone and
everything outside the world, like I checked all the boxes, okay, I was looking to buy an apartment and yeah, I'm there.
But inside of me, I felt that void,
that void that kept me in dark place.
And I can call it burnout,
but it's not about working a lot.
It's about lacking sense,
sense of the purpose of what I'm doing.
And I couldn't sleep well, I couldn't find joy, I couldn't find purpose, I couldn't
find any sense of what I was doing. And okay, I reached that point that I had where I should be, but didn't feel
it right at all. And this is why this is a real example of the mirror of the outside
world, because I was looking outside. Okay, the outside looks good, but inside didn't feel any good.
And then I remember I couldn't wake up in the morning.
I was in my bed and I didn't have energy to go through my day.
I didn't.
I was empty inside.
I had that void.
And then two options come to me. The first one, I keep doing this,
and I was waiting because I said to myself, just a period, but it got worse and worse
and worse. And then the second option was, if everything was possible, what would you do?
And the answer was traveling.
And I've never traveled alone, even for one day.
For me, in that time, I was really in control of my life.
I was doing that job.
I would be promoted and then I would be manager and then I would be da da da da da da da.
And it doesn't make all of that.
Didn't make any sense. So I decided to quit everything and to buy everything and to go to travel with one-way
tickets and I didn't know...
I just went to Peru and I said to myself that I would be back, but 10 months later COVID came.
And it was really interesting because I got in Paris in another corporate job as project manager in Paris again, one year afterwards.
And I said to myself, I don't understand. I quit everything.
I took that very hard decision, and I did everything, and I traveled. Why? Why I'm here
again in the same situation? Okay, it's different job, but it's the same situation. And I was
but it's the same situation. And I was really struggled there.
I couldn't understand why the universe brought me
in that same situation again.
And actually, it's like I traveled around the world
because I needed to release that identity of controlled
identity, engineering identity, and I needed to see myself in other
ways, have other mirrors outside.
I needed to discover myself again.
And I remember I was on that plane and I said to myself, no one will know me, so who I will be, who I am, how people
will see me in that different country, different culture and so on.
Do they say I'm funny or whatever my friends, my current friends say, how do they see me actually?
And I discovered myself.
I saw myself in a different way.
And for the fan fact, one month later I was a bartender in Peru, organizing parties, and I didn't even know that it was something
that I wanted to do, and it was funny to see myself in that environment.
And yeah, I discovered myself in other ways, but when I went back and got back in Paris, I needed to go deeper.
I traveled around the world, but now I needed to travel in my inner world.
Okay, so who you are now with all of this?
What you want to do really?
And then I start to deep dive into coaching.
And for me it was really amazing to do that.
And then the energy came to me in an amazing way
and I started feeling a lot of intuitive sensation,
extra sensation where my body was moving and reacting to environment, to people, to reaching
different state of consciousness and I let it go, I was ready to welcome all that, all
these sensations. And I just let myself discover again another part, another part, and it felt so soft, so
natural, so flowing, so me actually.
And then I decided to go there and to start my entrepreneurial journey.
And I got my first client and yeah, this is who I am now.
I have had so many goosebumps.
And it's just what an incredible journey.
And, you know, I think I'm so grateful that you followed that voice, that you follow your
intuition, that you went bartending in Peru and discovered this part of yourself because,
you know, even just from my own personal experience with you and how you work with energy,
it's such a gift to the world.
And I think that we kind of forget that,
we see like our bodies and we think that's it, right?
And like, we kind of forget that in the body,
but also kind of around it is your bubble.
Like we always speak about your bubble of energy.
But we don't really get to learn how to define that bubble, how to learn to work with it
because we are, we might touch someone when we feel love and we feel that feeling but
we don't really understand how to use our energy, how to shape it in ways that really shapes our world, I think.
And so what you do is incredible in that sense, that you really work with the energy and you've
learned how to release it and to understand how to work with emotions and sit with them.
And so yeah, just super grateful that you've gone on that journey because I think that
you're really helping other people.
And I agree with you.
I've also kind of felt like travel was that for me.
It's like I had to go and collect different energy and go and also shed energy as I was
going.
And I can appreciate that sometimes when you've done all of that, there are in a journey and that's sometimes harder I think. It is harder.
So where you are now, you've gone through all of this, where do you kind of
see yourself in here from now? What do you feel is the next mirror? What is the
mirror that you're holding for yourself at the moment maybe? Oh actually I'm in a very messy between,
I would call it, and it's amazing because this is what I said at the beginning that I
I went from corporate world to energetic field and now I want to gather that both part of
me to a new journey and I keep tuning in that and adjusting and listening and thinking also
of what's about to come. I cannot say what I will be in one year. I have a lot of
ideas, projects that I want to bring and to create and to offer. I had some new energetic program that
I had some new energetic program that they will be live soon, I guess, I hope. But there is other...
I didn't figure out everything and this is what is amazing because sometimes we...
For me, actually, I always let some space to life bring me what I really
need. So I do my part, but it's like co-working with the universe. So I do my part, I put
my ideas, my project and everything, but I let some space for surprises, for new opportunities.
So, yeah, in one year, I guess I will be in London as I, because this is a personal project and I will be relocated in London.
But I definitely see myself as offering collective energetic space, I I guess and more to come.
I love that, I love that. Please keep us up to date on what is happening in the world of all the courses and workshops and everything that you're doing.
And no matter if you're in a different space, we can learn how to teleport I'm sure. And from an energetic perspective, we'll be sending each other vibes.
I just want to say I'm grateful that you sharing that
because I think we do tend to want to always have the answer.
I think the entrepreneurial journey is one
that sometimes is made with having to make adjustments,
having to readjust and figure out,
you know, it's not a straight journey and being open to anything that comes. So
it's great to hear someone also doing that, keeping space for holding two worlds at the same time.
You know, sometimes I think using this analogy, we always kind of want to see ourselves in one
mirror but sometimes when you're kind of in a room of full of them then you
really get the full 360 perspective and that is quite a holistic diverse dynamic
individual that doesn't have to fit into one box so I think that's awesome that
you are holding space for yourself to do multiple faceted things.
And on that in terms of gratitude, I want to take a quick little moment to say thank
you to our multifaceted platforms that make these conversations possible.
And that is Riverside FM, which we are talking on now, and RSS.com, which we use to distribute
the podcast.
And if it wasn't for their mirrors that we can look into and have these conversations and if it wasn't for them holding space for us, we wouldn't be able to bring you this content,
bring you these conversations. So thank you to you guys. And they've also graciously given our
audience discounts. So feel free to reach out to us on the socials
at fridayfields.co and we'll send you the code.
And if you are a podcaster, live streamer
or some kind of content creator, a creative source,
or maybe you just wanna host webinars
or meetings in an interesting way,
you can reach out to them or to us.
So then, Nura, I do want to do a little quick slide into a segment which we call the people,
places and spaces.
And that is like a place or space or person that we have identified in the week has the
feels.
And what I'd really like to give a little shout out to, I don't know if you've heard of blender bombs,
but they're really cool.
No.
Okay.
Mostly in America,
but it's something that I've been following along
and bomb company has done an amazing thing
where they've, she started off thinking about health,
thinking about holistic being,
probably looking in the mirror and going,
how can I eat healthier?
And so she
started Blender Bombs as a female founder. And it's now a WeFundr, which is funded by
multiple people. So you and I can also get involved. So it's just a really interesting,
unique project. I really love what they do. And they sell these bombs that you can put
in shapes and it's really delicious and healthy. So I wanted to give them a shout out. Thank you for your fields. Thanks for what you bring in the world. And
on the fields, I think it's really important that we think about our fields this week.
You and I have had a little bit of a privilege of feeling that together in our space.
Yes, yes.
But I want to introduce a little segment called the gems of the week, which is things we've
learned, things that were maybe hard or we appreciate.
For me, my gem has really been letting go of guilt and shame and being able to open
my mouth and speak and sing, I think, and just let out what needs to be silly, what needs to be seen
I guess, holding the mirror for myself and I had the privilege of you
holding the mirror for me too. So that was really something beautiful, thank you
for that and that was my gym. What has been your gym for the week?
What has been your dream for the week?
Except that there is not only one way to do things, there's a lot of ways. And actually I want to get back what you said earlier because it's really interesting what you said.
It's about multifaceted also. It's
like sometimes when we do another job or we went to this entrepreneur journey and said
like, okay, today I'm a coach, I'm energy healer, I'm an entrepreneur, whatever. And
it's like we need to get there and that's it. We're not allowed to do something else again and
readjust because we do it once. It's like we're allowed to do it only once and that's
it. Now you have the journey there and you have to go there and for me it was really
hard to say myself, okay, I can evolve and I can imagine other and I can reinvent myself again
and again. And because we're always evolving, we're always changing and we're always discovering
ourselves. So even if you start a new journey and you feel like you need to adjust it. Just let your go, let yourself do whatever feels right to you.
And for me, this is my dream is accept whatever is coming from me
and a new version, new space, new end.
Just let all the labels and let ourselves be all our parts.
Thank you for sharing that.
We love who you are and all your parts and who you're going to be.
Thank you.
And how ever Friday feels, we can celebrate that in the future with you. And how ever Friday feels, can celebrate that in the future with you.
We here.
And I do have one more question for you, if that's okay.
We have a section called The Stack, and it's our reading list.
So maybe it's a book that you've got on the beautiful book cupboard behind you there that
you haven't read, or maybe you want to recommend it because
you've read it so many times but what is kind of one book that's in your stack that you can
recommend to our audience? I would say the book is Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself of Joe She's an amazing book and he really explains in amazing and clear way how our mind and
motion feels and how we're able to create our own reality and how to bring change in
our lives and it's really clear clear simple and profound and I really love
Joe dispense our work, so I would definitely
Say that book
Thanks for recommending that I actually forgot about that book and I listened to the audiobook
Many years ago now when I kind of was starting a change journey and he's just incredible
He just kind of gets to the nugget of
of it. So yeah I feel like I need to read that one again. Thank you.
What do you think you'll be adding it to the stack? And I wonder if everyone else listening out there,
what are you feeling about the mirrors in your life? Maybe the mirror you're holding up for
yourself. What color is your mirror,
what tint is your mirror, is it the right mirror?
We want to hear all your feels, so please let us know.
We love receiving the messages you send on the socials, so reach out to us at fridayfields.co.
And just a big, big thank you to you,a, for coming on today, for sharing so openly.
I feel like there's so much more we can delve into.
So you're going to have to come back.
There'll be a season three.
And I thought it was really awesome that you were talking about reinventing your conditioning
because that was our very first theme of the season.
So I feel like we've made a whole loop.
season. So I feel like we've made a whole loop. Thank you so much and just, yeah, I want to say keep doing amazing work that you're doing and sharing with us.
