Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, everybody. Welcome back to your stupid opinions. Hey. Thank you so much for joining us today on another week of people's bullshit where they're going to tell us their opinions that we don't want to hear about places that we probably don't want to go. So there you go. It's going to be so much fun again this week, as it is always. This is episode 149, 150 next week. We've almost been doing this for three years, this show, which is absurd. Absolutely insane. If you would like to head over to shut up and give me murder.com, you can get all the merchandise there. There's your stupid opinions merch and everything else. Find out about crime and sports and small town murder, which you can also watch on Netflix. And keep hanging out with us.
Starting point is 00:00:54 Yeah, we can keep you occupied for a good chunk of the week. So keep hanging out with us. That said, let's do this. Let's get back into where we were last week when we left off here. Oh, by the way, my name is James Petro Gallo. I'm here with my co-host. I'm Jimmy Wiseman. There you go.
Starting point is 00:01:08 Let's be a little professional here. See, we get loose with you, people. This is like our, this is our fun hangout show. Yeah. As opposed to the others, which are real research heavy, and they really, I mean, the shows are fun, but to get to the point where we hit record takes a lot. Whereas this is, this is fun. I don't feel burnt out at all when we're doing this show. This is just a fun show.
Starting point is 00:01:30 After three years, you figure, fuck it. Yeah, lock it. Let's have a good time. So let's head back to Betton, Arkansas, where everyone goes for a good time. You know that. to the urban air trampoline, whatever the hell, family fun shithole place here. They are gross. They are gross.
Starting point is 00:01:45 When we left off, there was small children being pelted by teenagers with dodge balls. You weren't allowed to tumble anymore for some reason. Well, places watch. I told you that the one by my house, there was a compound fracture that sprayed blood everywhere. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's fun. Maybe somebody had that happen here. Had to bring in the crime scene unit for that one to spray it down with luminal. There's a compound fracture.
Starting point is 00:02:10 They stop shit. Yeah, that's true, I guess. But you should shut the whole fucking place down then. The whole place is day... You walk in there, you go, everything everyone's doing is dangerous right now. Everything. There's no way to not be dangerous. Walk into a place like that.
Starting point is 00:02:24 It's all a biohazard, too. There's bodily fluids. Yeah. There's blood everywhere. Oh, there is all of snot and blood and, I'm sure, jizz and poop and everything else you can find in different places. I'm sure it's gross like that. It's just... You walk in.
Starting point is 00:02:38 and there's no way to bounce, I don't care what you're bouncing off of or coming back down to. There's no way to be 10 feet in the air and not have that be dangerous at any point. No. Bad things can happen. She can go wrong. Two's a problem when you're north of 45. Oh, forget about it. Then anything could blow a knee out and Achilles can snap like that.
Starting point is 00:02:56 I mean, forget about it. Here's Alyssa with one star. Absolutely terrible experience. Uh-oh. Oh, what happened, Alyssa? Daughter's birthday party ruined. Uh-oh. ruined ruined
Starting point is 00:03:09 ruined management was caught in multiple lies and tried to backtrack now we're getting somewhere owner is rude and arrogant well if you own all the trampolines wouldn't you be arrogant
Starting point is 00:03:21 come on and I got news for that ain't an owner no no no probably not that's a manager and extremely ill informed on oh Arkansas
Starting point is 00:03:33 AR laws were in Arkansas I was like AR laws you can't bring a fucking assault rifle into the urban air trampoline center probably. Sounds like you're ill-informed. Yeah, Arkansas is what they're talking about. They don't tell us what laws.
Starting point is 00:03:45 Management even tried to tell me they had signed waivers. They had signed waivers for my children and they had no waivers for any of them, including my son who had his toenail pulled off by an obstacle in an obstacle course. How? What? How fuck does that happen? Got it caught in there. A toenail torn off.
Starting point is 00:04:05 That sounds bad. You are forced to, you take your shoes off, obviously, and then you're forced to buy their socks. Yeah, that's ridiculous, too. And they're just the grippy socks that looney bins give away. I'm going to say, that's the institutional socks. Yeah. I won't go, okay, I'm not going anywhere public where taking your shoes off is a fucking prerequisite. It's a rule.
Starting point is 00:04:29 Not doing that. It's not a law. It was a rule. I know it was a law. By the way, love after lockup is phenomenal lately. We've got to do bonn-sup. They've gone back to their roots. It's great.
Starting point is 00:04:40 They've gone back to their roots of pure trash. Pure trash. But, yeah, going anywhere where you have to take your shoes off is just like, I'm in public. I'm keeping my shoes on. I don't know where the brothel. Yeah, I don't know what's going on here. What is some sort of jack shack massage parlor? I'm keeping everything I left the house with on right now.
Starting point is 00:04:59 Ridiculous. Okay, so Sun lost a toen. That's all she tells us. I feel like there's more to the story that Alyssa needs to stand on. Yeah, I need to know how, what'd your kid do that got his foot hung up? Would he get caught on? Just in an obstacle course is not enough information for me. Right.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Is it avoid getting your toe nail ripped off? Is that the obstacle? Maybe that's the, maybe it's the toenail ripper. That's the name of the actual event. The whole goal is to keep your toenails and he didn't do it. So what you're telling me is your son's a failure. That's what you're telling you. He's a loser.
Starting point is 00:05:31 Okay. Well, that's what happened. and loser. You've got to get better. Madison, one star. Went to urban air and got hungry. Okay, is there food care? That's a fun start.
Starting point is 00:05:45 That's great. Waited for 10 minutes to be served, and then Brooklyn took our order. From the moment she talked, she was very rude and acted as if I was dumb. Very sarcastic with what she was saying and wasn't helpful. Everything else was great. So because one employee, by the way, I don't think food is their primary source of... That ain't it. No one goes...
Starting point is 00:06:09 It's not called Urban Air and Grill. That would be amazing. That would be awesome. Urban Air Cafe and Grill would be exactly what we want right now. The Urban Air Grill. No, this is not their primary source of anything. That'd be like giving a ballpark one store. because you didn't like the hot dog.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Like, well, there's a lot of other stuff going on. There's a baseball game and a seat and a giant stadium was a hot dog. This is ridiculous. File hot dog. Okay. All righty. So, yeah, that's what they're upset about is that Brooklyn. One star they get.
Starting point is 00:06:44 Give it four stars. One star because Brooke was sarcastic and a little bitchy. Brooklyn had a little bit of a toad. So one star. I say four stars. Knock one star off for Brooklyn. There you go. Probably, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:56 Put a passion. Passion. P-A-S-H-U-N. Passion. Passion. Passion. I don't want to bespurch her mom. Spurt your mom's spelling abilities.
Starting point is 00:07:08 I do want to disperch your mom's. Because that ain't it. Spelling abilities. That ain't passion. I don't know if it's Peson. If she was going for Paxon, I'm not sure what she was into here, but they fuck this all up. I'm not getting birth in a Paxon. That's what happened.
Starting point is 00:07:24 She was looking for some board shorts. Yeah. Pying a new set of Arnettes. And it all fell apart, man. She's like, where's the Massimo? Oh, God. Oh, no, there's water everywhere. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:07:36 I didn't even get to the Stozy section. Help me. I splashed the long boards. Oh, God, please help me. Well, they're meant to be splashed. Yeah, they're meant to be on the beach. They're meant to be wet. It's okay.
Starting point is 00:07:48 Passion, one star. I'm only giving one star because I have to in order to leave a review, which is not. Okay. That's not it, Passion. Passion, you have fucked that up royally. I tried to take my grandson here around 4 p.m. When I arrived, the girl at the counter never said hello or anything. Okay, she was digging in something for a key.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Then after she found the key she wanted, she turned around and said, let me find someone to help you. Okay. I'm not the one, apparently. I find keys. I'm the key guy lady. I don't do shit other than that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:26 We waited about 10 minutes and she began walking back up. I said, what are we waiting on? She acted confused and turned around to go the opposite direction again. She's like, oh, shit, these people are. I don't know what we're waiting on. This lady with her fucked up spelling of her name, I got to go. I told her not to worry about it. I would take my business somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:08:46 We went to Defy in Little Rock, and we were welcomed right away with no issues. I will never go back here, and I live right down the street. Oh. Oh, shit. Very sad to have to walk a three-year-old out when he's excited to play. I just a walk of shame for that kid. Oh, yeah. You heard some crying in that car, for sure.
Starting point is 00:09:06 That was not a quiet ride. He went in, you teased me with looking at everything, and then you were walking me out. You know the kid was like holding her hand, going to look in a wide eye. Oh, my God, look at it all. Nope, we're not going here. We're going on. Yeah, you looked over his shoulder that whole walk. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:24 With the thing about pointing the shit. Well, see, dragged him by the hand. It's really cool, though. They have like a zip line that's in the ceiling that goes all because the ceiling's fucking 24 feet up. You know what I mean? It's a two-story indoor, but you're only on the ground floor. So the zip line goes all the way around the inside of the building. The building's thousands of square feet.
Starting point is 00:09:47 It's huge. It's like a warehouse in there. Yeah, it's a big warehouse building. Like an airplane hanger in there. It's a very cool place. So a three-year-old would be blown away by it. Yeah, she's dragging them out. She's like, come on, excitement spelled with life.
Starting point is 00:09:59 Like a cue and a couple of Zs. Come on, let's go. He's like, oh, I don't want to. Excitement with a G in there. Yeah, somehow. I don't know how she spells it, but it's wrong. I know that much. Jericho one star.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Terrible party experience. Uh-oh. I paid for the highest party package for my daughter's fourth birthday party. I'm rolling, baby. Yeah. Slapping it down. Take that. Highest.
Starting point is 00:10:25 Highest. The highest one. VIP coming through. Watch out. I didn't have a private party host and had to literally do everything on my own. It was a stressful experience. You had to have a birthday party for your four-year-old? Yeah, that's horrible.
Starting point is 00:10:40 That's a nightmare in itself. I wasted party time trying to go ask other workers for things such as something to cut the cake with. The pizza that came out late, a lighter, etc. The, quote, private party host came in the room one time to drop off the pizza and that is all. Okay. Oh. It was the worst party experience ever, and I will not have another party there. No.
Starting point is 00:11:04 When I talked to the manager that there was, that was there, that was there on the party day, all she could do is tell me she'd talk to the host. I was told the boss would come call, would call me, and so far the boss is not called. Oh. No boss. Not the boss. The big boss is there. I didn't, is that the key person? I didn't receive the jump pass or T-shirt for the birthday girl.
Starting point is 00:11:28 I don't know. I completely wasted my money and I'm still extremely disappointed with the experience. Also, they do not provide chairs for guests. So everyone had to stand up except the kids that were there for the party. That's tough if you're like the grandparents come and shit. It's horrible. 78 year old lady leaned up against the fucking wall hurting. And they give you a tiny little room with like glass, the glass front of it.
Starting point is 00:11:53 Yes. Yes. That's what it is. Yes. Maybe I've been to this place in Phoenix one time for a birthday party. It's got just a table down the middle, like those shitty plastic ones with a tablecloth over it, and then a bunch of little chairs or benches. It might be benches, but it's just right down the middle of the room. And then the parents just line the wall.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Yeah. It's like a prison family visiting area. Like this is where they bring, like, you know, we've got three kids. That's what it is. That's what it feels like. And then you can see everything through the plexiglass. It's terrible. There's a lot of rules.
Starting point is 00:12:24 It's very prison-like there. And, of course, they search up your ass when you leave, which is another just like prison. So it's very weird. So we have... A lot of three-year-olds cry. Well, I mean, those are the rules, sweetheart. I'm sorry. Sox and anal cry on your way out.
Starting point is 00:12:41 Sox and body cavity. That's how we do things here. So she has not received a call from the boss. And I wasted almost $400 on this terrible experience. Wow. That's pricey for a four-year-old, right? That's the tip-top center. That's the best it gets right there.
Starting point is 00:12:58 Wow. That's it. And where was that from? Five years ago. So probably gone up by now. Sharon, one star. Taking toddlers here is not recommended. I could have told you that by looking inside.
Starting point is 00:13:11 Yeah. When I see 12, 13, 14 year olds bouncing 12 feet in the air, I go, that's not for a small child. Not bringing a child there. Not at all. You know, what else sucks? The golf course. Probably not a good idea. And, you know, a gynecologist's office.
Starting point is 00:13:26 There's a lot of places where toddlers are really not recommended. Uninvited. Uninvited. They'd like the titty bar, I think. It's loud music and half their moms work there, so it helps. Yeah, they're like, hmm, look at that. Too poorly laid out to keep the babies in sight. Yeah, no staff.
Starting point is 00:13:45 You can't just release a toddler into an environment and stand back against the wall and what should happen. That's not a thing. You got to hold, you know, hover over those. They should take that from you. You shouldn't have that child. Yeah. No, not at all. The only place I've ever seen anyone throw toddlers with no supervision is the McDonald's ball pit.
Starting point is 00:14:02 Get in there. There you go. Or that's it up. Oh, pump it up. People walk away from kids in there every day. They're inside that bouncy house. That's not my problem. Fuck them.
Starting point is 00:14:12 If they come out bleeding from, you know, knocking heads with some other kid, I'll deal with that. But not now. Okay. If it costs me a copay, we'll have a conversation. Yeah, we'll talk. Then we're going to talk. No staff, all caps, enforces minimum age limits. Minimum age limits.
Starting point is 00:14:30 So nobody told you that that was against the rules for you to do this, is what I guess what you're saying. Large kids, teenagers, and adults all have access to your sweet babies in areas where you can't see or hear them. Why the fuck would you put your kid in your sweet baby in an area you can't see or hear them? Let's not describe them as sweet babies. Large kids, teenagers, and adults.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Sounds like just a bunch. I picture like a fat nine-year-old. A teenager. Big fat, juicy ass. Yeah. Teenager with like four wispy mustache whiskers. And then a really creepy pedophile adult all waiting like drooling and wringing their hands waiting for your toddler to come in there so they can molest them three different
Starting point is 00:15:16 ways. That's what it's like. Sweet baby. Yeah. Just take your sweet baby and fucking Eiffel Tower him in the fucking back where no one's watching. That's what it says. sounds like is your sweet babies.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Also, the entire place was filthy with trash overflowing. The restrooms rooms were disgusting. All of this while the young employees socialized with other employees. Right. Yeah, that's what they're doing. Yeah, they tend to do that. That's what I did. Bobby, one star.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Well, I'm very disappointed because yesterday, January 21st, there were a whole bunch of kids looking forward to the I-heart cookie and dinosaur thing. I don't know what that is. But because Jerry at the urban air, Benton, decided to be a jerk and threatened Sue, and threatened Sue had to ruin it for everybody else. I don't know what any of this means.
Starting point is 00:16:12 Sue. I don't know who Sue is. I don't know if he threatened Sue and that ruined it or he threatened and then Sue ruined it because he threatened. I can't tell there's no punctuation, which helps in these situations. Or they're going to sue? But Sue is a capital. But that doesn't mean anything in these reviews.
Starting point is 00:16:26 These are people from Arkansas. So, I mean, let's be realistic here. I think they're 49th in education. So I'm not going to deal with that. The name Sue came from lawsuits. Yeah, that's possible. Had to ruin it for everyone else. Okay.
Starting point is 00:16:42 I am confused, Bobby. You need to be more clear about what the fuck you're talking about. Jason, one star. Put our child outside at 4.30 p.m. due to a private party. I pictured Fred Flintstone. putting the fucking dropping Dino outside
Starting point is 00:16:58 and then him going in and putting that's what I pictured okay they didn't try to contact us wouldn't let her
Starting point is 00:17:05 back inside either we complained to the company the owner contacted us personally then commenced to defending himself telling us that we were bad parents
Starting point is 00:17:15 for leaving our child there that's awesome yeah you are he even at one point threatened to call child services on us we will
Starting point is 00:17:24 never bring our children back there, and I advise other parents a word of caution dealing with Mr. Phillips and his questionable staff. We got his name. There he is. That's the owner. Owner Phillips. One star from Christina. This is the trashiest jump place we've ever been to.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Jump place should tell you right out of the gate. Yeah, we ever been to. The teen staff encourages and laughs at any drama between kids, especially at the dodgeball section. Yeah, that's entertainment for them. Yeah, yeah. He thinks you're a punk. You better get him back.
Starting point is 00:17:58 How can I? Oh, Christ. That is if they are at what? Dodgeball section. That is if they are at all doing their actual job watching the kids and not conversing with friends. Grown adults as opposed to non-grown, tiny, tiny adults in all play areas blocking actual children from playing. Not just a dwarf in it with a mustache. You know, wearing shorts and fucking, you know, a little hat with a beanie on it.
Starting point is 00:18:31 Tiny adults blocking, I guess, other children. Yeah. Not a single adult on the staff to be seen at all. Hair in our pizza. This is a disgusting. And a hair. This is a disgusting place of business. Yeah, and a hair.
Starting point is 00:18:47 Mr. Phillips will not be happy. Paisley, one star. You know what Paisley looks like. yeah she's she's got hugs well Arkansas Paisley oh boy she might look like Brad either way several live laugh love signs up in that house
Starting point is 00:19:05 several in all different locations every door is barn oh yeah especially the bathroom Not a hinge found in this motherfucker Nope it's like from the future No hinges Instead of an aperture they just have this barn doors And it's fucking especially the bathroom
Starting point is 00:19:21 That's got the widest gap in the barn doors She can really. Probably went on the shower. Oh, I'm sure. I'm sure. Brooklyn was very rude while taking our order. Brooklyn's a problem over here. Very sarcastic and rolled her eyes at what I would say.
Starting point is 00:19:37 Took a long time to get order taken. What are the chances Brooklyn's ever been to New York City? I doubt it. Yeah. I doubt Brooklyn and knows anything about Brooklyn. Either that or that's why that's her name and they came here and everyone hates her because she has a... Or because her mom dreams of one day
Starting point is 00:19:56 going to the big city. One day. Instead, I named my kid. And they work in Benton at the Urban Air Jump Center. Fucking waiting... Waiting tables for annoying parents and their shitty toddlers. Gaming kid, one star. I was playing with one of my kids
Starting point is 00:20:15 and the foam pit in the... I guess in the phone pit is what he's going for. When my keys and phone fell out of my pocket. So I was just... trying to get it out of the pit and they told me I had to wait for it to close. It was 12 in the afternoon. So you got about 10 hours. About 10 hours.
Starting point is 00:20:34 And then you can have your car keys. You can just wait in the parking lot until then. Then you can get into your house. Until then, we own it. Sorry. You're going to have to stay here for 10 hours. Until then it belongs to the pit. We're sorry.
Starting point is 00:20:50 We feed the pit and sometimes it takes selfie. They're just going to let kids jump in there and possibly get stabbed by this man's dodged Durango key. You got to feed the pit. It's like the storm doors in Widows Bay there at the end. It needs to be fed. I'm sorry. The bell has told, and we need to feed it. Oh, that's amazing.
Starting point is 00:21:11 Okay. So it was 12 in the afternoon. On top of that, we bought platinum access and half of the stuff was closed down. And laser tag wasn't available. The zip lines and tightroping thing was. and available either. Waste of $335 for my kids' birthday party. And we got a room for some pizza as well.
Starting point is 00:21:30 And the pizza was gross and not even my three-year-old would eat it. Oh, okay. Jesus Christ, that guy's a mess. Savannah, one star. The owner, Jared. I guess it's Jared Phillips, maybe. Or maybe it's Jared from Subway. Maybe it's G-E-R-R-O-D.
Starting point is 00:21:48 What? Gerard. Gerard, I guess. That's not how you spelled Jared at all. I think that's Gerard. The owner, Gerard, is a grade A ass hat. Finally, someone got to the point. There we go.
Starting point is 00:22:07 Great A ass hat, everybody. Savannah's not fucking around. If you even begin to complain, he turns into a five-year-old who has to have the last and most ridiculous word. This place and the owner is a total and complete joke. It's a joke. All right. I got to get out of there. Yeah, that was awesome.
Starting point is 00:22:27 That was great. I feel filthy now. My clothes are... I'm dirty. There's jizz on me and kid sweat and everything else. And my clothes are dirty. Let's go get clean, Jimmy. Let's head to the Supreme Clean Laundarette and Dry Cleaners.
Starting point is 00:22:42 What do you say? Where the hell is that? You're going to be surprised. Two Belvedere Road, Dublin, Ireland. Oh, is that right? Yeah. Let's go to a dry cleaner laundromat in Ireland, everybody. Let's find out.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Neither did I. Well, they must get their clothes clean somehow over there. Yeah, I guess you got to, if you get them dirty, they got to get washed. They just wait for the Irish spring to come from the sky. Stand out there and let the rain cleanse you. That's what happens. You just fucking. Just naturally smells amazing.
Starting point is 00:23:14 I've been wearing the sweater for 10 and 10 odd years now. It still smells fresh. The dash is the daisy. It's just standing Irish spring. Oh, God. This place, 3.9 stars here. They open at 8 a.m. And here we go.
Starting point is 00:23:31 Five stars from Danielle. And it's a self-launcher mat. And they also have a dry cleaner there, which is strange. Okay. I never saw those two things together. But, hey, it's Ireland. We're doing things different. I didn't know how to use the machines
Starting point is 00:23:43 and the nice guy that worked there help me. Good prices. I'm very thankful. Yeah. Yeah. That's nice. Yeah, that's, uh, and they help. Well, at least if you're Danielle.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Yeah. If your name is James or Jimmy, they'd probably go. The fucking machines are just use them. Figure it out. Figure it out, stupid. There's fucking instructions on it. Dummy, never used a washer before. Otherwise, it's about to rain.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Head outside. I was talking to Sarah about something where, about how people interact. And she's like, men really are terrible to each other, aren't they? And we're like, you have no fucking idea what it's like to be. It's just, you'll, you'll, see, they'll be no, okay, blah, blah, blah, blah, and they'll get, women get mad because a man will be, like, condescending to them and stuff like that. That's fine. I understand that. But it's, they'll come up, you'll walk up and they'll go, what do you want, dickface?
Starting point is 00:24:30 Would you rather it be that? Because that's what we get. And, you know, what do you want, homo? Like, okay, I guess. The treatment exponentially gets worse as the task becomes more deemed to be masculine. Does that make sense? Whereas you walk into home. Depot, if you ask a question that they figure you should fucking know?
Starting point is 00:24:54 Yes. They'll get an attitude with you. I'm not a fucking plumber. Yeah. I don't want to be a plumber. Guess what I also am not, a Home Depot employee. Because I planned better in my life. My fucking smock doesn't say ask me, motherfucker.
Starting point is 00:25:08 No. Matter of fact, I'm not wearing one because I don't work here. I don't work. Guess what? I can leave right now with no consequences. How about you? I'm hungry. I'm going to go get something to eat and then come back.
Starting point is 00:25:22 Can you do that? Yeah, can you do that? Can you de-smock for a minute and fucking go get a slice of pizza? I didn't think so. Dick face, don't fucking tell me with your fucking name written on your smock. They don't even give you name tag. They give you a pen and say, write it, bitch. Write it on your smock, you fucking loser.
Starting point is 00:25:46 And then a customer comes up and you go, what do you want, homo? they made me right on my smog. What do you want? Three-eighths or half-inch drywall? I don't know what the fuck that means. No shit. I wanted six fucking feet. That's what I want in a piece of shit.
Starting point is 00:26:06 I don't know. You tell me the other shit. It's your goddamn job, smock boy. So, yeah, people are dicks. Yeah, smock boy. But that's what it is. The more masculine the task, You don't know how to do it the worst the treatment.
Starting point is 00:26:22 It's like, oh, man, if you gave me the answers, perhaps next time I will be a much easier customer. But until then, you're perpetuating this bullshit by being an asshole to me. It's true. Because if the guy's working in a more feminine type environment, he's the one who's embarrassed. He's not coming to you. He's like, yeah, yeah, I work in a dress shop, I understand. One a dozen petunias. Okay, great.
Starting point is 00:26:45 No, I'll get it for you. I understand. That's exactly what it is. It's so weird. Yeah, the guy in the home and garden section's a fucking sweetheart. He's a sweetheart, yeah. He has no attitude whatsoever. It's because he didn't know between three-eighths and a half inch either.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Well, Smock Boy just called him a homo at lunch, too, so he's a little... Go on outside, carnations. Yeah, he's a little, you know, tail between the legs as he walks back. That's avocado green mattress.com slash YSO.
Starting point is 00:32:25 Avocado green mattress.com slash YSO. Now back to the show. It's like fourth grade. You go sell a garden hose or two, you pussy. Yeah. It's absolute fourth grade there. That's what it is. Men are assholes.
Starting point is 00:32:40 Their men is the point. It's terrible to them. I mean, we don't usually rape them unless it's a other kind of environment. That's good, I guess. That's one thing they're nicer to than women, but in general interactions. So, walls, five stars, the staff are very friendly. The machines aren't the best, but they do the job. That's good.
Starting point is 00:33:00 They get the shit off of my clothes. That's good. It's not a May tag, but it'll do. It'll do. Ariosto, four stars. Haven't found any other cheaper place. The drying machine coins only last for 10 minutes as opposed to other places where it's 30. They accept credit card payment.
Starting point is 00:33:17 Okay. Excellent. Other places you get 30 minutes of drying time for whatever a token cost in here. It's 10 fucking minutes? Ten minutes isn't much at all. That doesn't do anything. That's a, you could fluff something. That doesn't do a goddamn thing.
Starting point is 00:33:31 Yeah, you could like just fluff something up quick, but you can't try anything in 10 minutes. That'll crazy. That'll culture the mold. That's what that'll do. Oh, yeah, it'll knock it around a little bit warm it up, get it. It gets the mold spores intermingling and, you know, having a little get-together. It kickstarts that yeasty smell. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:51 Kickstart social hour for the bacteria. For all the bacteria. Yeah, it's a bacteria party, everybody. An Irish bacteria party, drunken, drunken bacteria. Damn it. I'm sure these shirts have a lot of Guinness all over. Oh, full of it, full of it. Kelsey, two stars.
Starting point is 00:34:12 I stopped here to drop off some. clothing for full service clean during my travels. They had a 24-hour turnaround time, did not call when it was complete, and ruined a wool sweater of mine, which is you need all the wool sweaters you can get in Ireland. Well, also, once a wool sweater has been fucked with, it's over. It's trash. It's over. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:35 Light it on fire. No going back from that. No. Use it for warmth. That's it. You buy a new one. By setting it ablaze. I had hoped they would give it a soak as the newly purchased red wool sweater was bleeding color.
Starting point is 00:34:48 They ended up washing it and drying it and shrinking it to ruin. Can you make sure this doesn't bleed? Sure can. No problem. Here you go. It'll now fit your tiny dog and it won't bleed. Is that what you want? It will not bleed.
Starting point is 00:35:03 It's not going to bleed. They did, however, fix the stains from that dye that transferred to my pants. I had mentioned both items of concerns at drop off, and they told me they would, quote, do their best. The folding job was just all right, but I'm just too disappointed about the sweater. Okay. But the Irish still gave him two stars. That's what's nice. Over here, that would be, if I could give it 96,000 negative stars, I would.
Starting point is 00:35:30 And I'm suing. And I'm suing them, and I talk to the owner, and he's a real tool. And, yeah. Sean, one star. An Irish guy named Sean, I won't believe it. I won't believe it. Couldn't ever happen. One star, to whom it concerns.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Oh, boy. Myself and my partner just collected our laundry from here, and there was a small note left on top of the bag. As you can see from the pictures, the note read that a red jumper had run its color onto some of the white clothes. Oh, that's not good. Now you have pink clothes. We are not at all satisfied or how,
Starting point is 00:36:09 happy about this. There are multiple items now that have been ruined and the fact that we were supposed to be charged 23 euro, I think that's euro, even after this shit mistake, we were actually, that's a perfect place for shit. Shit didn't even, they didn't even need to do it. That's what I like. That's what I like about those islands. They put like shit in fucking weird places that aren't really the same, you know?
Starting point is 00:36:39 After this shit mistake you made, it's so conversational you don't even notice it. Could have just said after this mistake. We would be like, yeah, it's a mistake. It's a shit mistake. After this shite mistake, we were charged 25 pounds, and there was no apology or reduction for the ruined items. Really? The value of those items does not matter, but when the service is to wash and dry clothes, I expect there to be some competence when separating or seeing what you're putting into the machine.
Starting point is 00:37:09 We will not be returning, but I would like to be replied to as soon as you can. Why? You're not coming back. Who the fuck? Why waste your time? There's no making amends here. That is a fascinating bit about dry cleaning and laundry in general. The literal only job is to make sure that things don't get color on other things.
Starting point is 00:37:30 That would be a big part of it. That would be a huge part of it. Get the stains out and don't add new ones. Yeah, don't make it worse, please. Yeah. That'd be nice. Man, it cannot happen again. Well, not if you don't go back there.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Yeah. I'm also under the inclination that my clothes from previous services here have been taken. Oh. So they're also stealing? Yeah. Yeah, there's a little note. It says red jumper running color. We try three times.
Starting point is 00:37:58 Sorry about it. We try three times. Yeah. Yeah. Michelle one star. I would give zero stars if possible. Good enough. It's your.
Starting point is 00:38:08 It's Europe. I'll give you. They don't know. Yeah. I bought a trench coat. I brought a trench coat in three weeks ago to be dry cleaned, and it was returned to me with the belt missing. You need that on the trench coat. Yeah. I've returned to the dry cleaners countless times now, and I've been given an excuse each time.
Starting point is 00:38:27 I've been told over a week ago now that they don't believe I did leave the coat in with the belt, and they need to check the closed circuit television. Okay. Oh, Jesus, this has turned into a lot here. And each time I follow up, I'm told they need more time. I'm just being fobbed off every time. I don't know what that means. F-O-B-B-E-D. Is that clean fucked off?
Starting point is 00:38:54 Obviously, a local term. Yeah, I guess just brushed aside, fobbed off, I guess. I need to know what that means. Fobbed off. It seems pretty obvious. If I told you I was with this chick and she fobbed me off real good, you'd be like, okay, you could really put that anywhere. Which force number body did she use?
Starting point is 00:39:12 Sweet, man. Good for you, bro. It sounds like a foot job, right? I don't know. I don't know. Or it could be like your elbow, like a crook of your elbow. She fobbed me, man. It was weird, but good.
Starting point is 00:39:25 It's to trick. It's to send off with a trick. Wow. I'm just being fobbed off every time. I wouldn't recommend getting anything dry cleaned here. All right. Rodrigo, one star. The staff is very rude and racist.
Starting point is 00:39:39 Oh, and racist. And racist. The guy who was working this Saturday treated really bad just because I asked, how does it work? Because I've never been here before. And he kept treating me badly during the whole morning. Jesus. How long were you there, bro? Probably around.
Starting point is 00:39:56 I went shopping. He was there. Just treat me bad. Stayed on my heels. It's wild. Went back to my apartment. There he was. It was crazy.
Starting point is 00:40:04 Wouldn't leave me alone. The whole morning. Barbara one star Two very expensive duvet covers Have gone missing over two months And all they have offered Is to give me two duvet covers That have not been collected
Starting point is 00:40:19 Someone else's duvet covers We got some lost and foul Oh my God It's treating you like a kid who shit his pants Yeah We got this in the nurse's office You want some There's a pair of women's sweats
Starting point is 00:40:34 Put these on Want some OPDs or what? What? Some other people's duvet covers. Is that what you're looking for? That is amazing. Oh, Christ, that's so funny. I'm hoping the owners will see this review and offer appropriate replacements. So we have these. They don't match. They're from two different people, but. That's the funniest shit I ever. That's why he's right. Wow. Okay. SP one star. This one's got some wording to it. Here's a long one.
Starting point is 00:41:00 Probably the worst laundromat experience I have ever had. Oh. Oh, boy. I was only here out of necessity due to traveling for several days and needing to clean my clothes. The place was filthy and staffed by the three most incompetent women. Oh. Incompetent women. The one we kept getting, or the one we kept getting, we kept having to ask for things instead of selling a wash and then a dry all at once. We had to return to the counter several times to pay for the wash, then the detergent,
Starting point is 00:41:31 then 10 minutes of dryer time, then an additional 20 minutes of dryer time. she was slow and clearly didn't care. So she's dumb and not into it. No one explained to us how to operate the machines and we weren't the only ones who needed the attendants half arced instructions. Half arst. Yeah, so the other guy's an ars hat.
Starting point is 00:41:54 Yeah. Great a ars hat. Great a ars hat. One of the attendants knocked my suitcase off the table in front of the dryer onto the floor, spilling all of my things everywhere. Oh, no. We didn't even fold our clothes here because the full, the full dong tables, those are the different type of table.
Starting point is 00:42:12 They got a dong folder? They got a, you can fold your dong right up right here. Ireland sounds awesome. Amazing. It's great. Good for you guys. I had no idea. I didn't know either.
Starting point is 00:42:23 I haven't told a lot of people got a lot of small dicks out there. The Irish have sidestepped this whole time. They have to fold their tongs up. That's all. It's not small. It's just folded. Folded neatly. Put away.
Starting point is 00:42:35 So these full dong tables were filthy and covered in used band-aids and other drier detritus. What? Band-aids, plural used band-aids. So is that the tray and it's got all the, that, how many gross band-aids are in people's laundry? That's what I mean. I don't know how many band-aids are in the laundry, but I like that they use detritus. That's a good word. Yeah, whatever that is.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Just shit. I'm glad I'm not a local because I would do my laundry somewhere else. Okay. Okay, then. Linda, one star, I have been using this laundrette for many years, and today I was getting two token for the dryer, and the guy who was serving me said he would put the tokens into the dryer. I told him all dryers being used.
Starting point is 00:43:27 Why can't he give me the tokens? I could put them in myself when dryer was available. The guy with the beard, who was normally nice, said with angry, face. Don't argue. Huh? With angry face. With angry face. I have always been, I've always being polite.
Starting point is 00:43:45 I have always being polite to all the staff there. And when, and when being harassed by a down and out guy who used to, who used to, Millinger, M-I-L-I-N-G-E-R. M-L-L-L-I-N-G-E-R. M-Linger? That's not what that means. Linger is a word. Malinger means you're faking a mental illness.
Starting point is 00:44:07 That's a different physical illness. Yeah. Faking that he works there? Well, he malingers there insulting people, so annoyed at the staff member. I guess lingers there? Linger is just fine. Linger will work. Jan, one star.
Starting point is 00:44:22 They have closed without contacting customers. All mine and my husband's clothes are in there, and they didn't even have the courtesy to it for us. What do you mean? It's over? Oh, my God. all my clothes I'd have all of our clothes mine and my husbands
Starting point is 00:44:41 which is wild I drop off everything at once I have what I was wearing and that's it like when Kramer took all of Jerry shoes to that mom and pop shop and they closed down and took them and they had to go to Palmas in New Jersey I'm putting the rest in the cleaner yeah that's it let's go
Starting point is 00:44:59 whatever you need now whatever you're going to need the next couple days put it on now Sevy one star. No stars. Okay. Is what they say. The worst dry cleaner I've been to in my travels. Due to lack of time, I asked them to wash my clothes.
Starting point is 00:45:15 There was a service. They told me to come and pick them up in the afternoon. Initially, they put the clean clothes in the bags that I had put the dirty clothes in. Then the clothes were thrown inside, not even folded roughly. And as if this wasn't enough, they lost my white, they lost a white and a black sock. Yeah. Shame.
Starting point is 00:45:35 No, it wasn't enough. Shame with five exclamation points. There isn't much worse than opening your sock drawer and finding stray socks. Oh, Christ. None of them match. None of them. You're like, how do I have 60 socks and none of them go together? How does this work?
Starting point is 00:45:52 I've been buying only black and only white socks lately just because of that because my daughter will go in and just snatch socks. And I'm like, where did the, this means that you wore mismatching socks? sock when they, they were together in this fucking drawer. Yes. It's fucking horrible. Why did you do that? These goddamn socks drive me nuts. And then I'll buy different, multiple packs of the same brand and style socks.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Same sock. Same sock. I'm like, I like these. I'll buy more. I buy them. Then they're all different sizes now. Yeah. From coming from the same packages.
Starting point is 00:46:24 Now one's long. One's the show. I'm like, they're the same fucking color and the same brand of sock. And I have to match up. I have six socks. I'll stand there with like six socks all lined up looking at, where the toes go to find the fucking the ones that are the same length. I've bought
Starting point is 00:46:37 two packages of six pair. Yeah. At the exact same time, brought them home, wore them, and then wash them. And I've learned now that one package is made of a certain material and the other one is made of an entirely same color, same brand,
Starting point is 00:46:53 same everything. But when you take them out of the wash, one of them feels weird compared to the other ones. Yes. These socks. Who did this and why? Get your shit together, sock people. Who fucked my sock? Jesus Christ.
Starting point is 00:47:07 Fucking fucking them all up. Maria one star. I was in a hurry and when I went to pick up my clothes, I paid without checking them. When I realized what was happening, several of my items were burned and they charged me a lot. I couldn't charge me a lot. No word on how much. No, just a lot. I couldn't complain because I had already left Dublin the next day.
Starting point is 00:47:28 So she wasn't there. Oh, no. So she's fucked. All right. I'm going with burned clothes. The next one here, this is not a long one, a terribly long item that we're going to get into. Let's leave the laundromat. But it is based on the recent, actually last week, small town murder episode.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Yeah. Small Town Murder Express, so it was a Friday episode called the Ozark Thumper. Yeah. We didn't know what an Ozark Thumper was at the time. And that is a little bat that truckers use to check tire pressure to see if they're not. Check the pressure, but to see if they're flat, essentially. Make sure that they're not, that they've got some pressure. Not how much, just some.
Starting point is 00:48:06 Not flat. So here is one. This is a, on Amazon, a Union Pacific 17-inch aluminum tire-checker bat, robust and durable, wrapped handle, truck tire-checker bat. So rather than the wooden ones that break like that, that woman was trying to kill her husband with one and it broke. I mean, she bashed him with it. And did he survive?
Starting point is 00:48:29 Yeah, he survived that because it broke. It broke over his head. Now, if she had went and shelled out 2195 on Amazon for a Union Pacific 17-inch aluminum one, it wouldn't have broke and she would have killed him on the first try. She wouldn't have had splinters in her thumb. No, exactly. She wouldn't have had to then kill him in another time. She could have killed him right there when she wanted to the first time. So this is what it is.
Starting point is 00:48:53 It's a bat. It's got like a shark graphic on it, like the end of its like teeth, which I don't know why you'd want that by your tires. but it looks like a miniature baseball bat. It's got a wrapped handle like a baseball bat and everything else here, and it comes in multiple colors. And for some reason, the blue one is like 50 cents cheaper than the green one. I don't know why. Because it's Amazon.
Starting point is 00:49:15 They love, I don't know why they love to do it. I don't get it. But they give you all the options for colors. You click on each color and the price changes miraculously all the time. Yeah, I don't get how that works. It's a different price for every color. The green ones. 2195. The black one's 2295 and the blue one is 2143.
Starting point is 00:49:36 Some arbitrary number. And then there's a patriotic one with like a stars like a flag one that is 1999. It's on sale. Yeah. Two grand. So here is this thumper. Oh, let's find out the stars on this one. What does it have here? Do people like this or what? Oh, 4.7 stars. They love it. Almost a thousand reviews. So it seems to work, there's a picture of a guy holding it in his tattooed arm and hand about to hit a truck tire with it. That's the picture. Of course they got to make him look like a scumbag. Yeah. He's got a four-leaf clover like on his, like his thumb here in his hand. Like he's in an Irish prison gang. That's what he looks like. Part of the AB. Yeah. Very nicely done. I think the AB is a three-leaf clover if I'm not wrong. But either way.
Starting point is 00:50:29 It's a shamrock. Yeah. Oh, the AB, I thought you meant I was thinking of the Irish. Who cares about those fucking idiots? But I mean, I think their clover tattoo is the three leaf. Three leaf. This is a four. He's just lucky.
Starting point is 00:50:43 That's all. Okay. This guy. Well, it says the AB is, well, no, it doesn't matter. Go on. Fud them. It says comparison. Metal versus wood.
Starting point is 00:50:52 There are many types of styles on tire checker bats, but most are common in materials used. It should be either metal or wooden construction. There's pros and cons to both, but we suggest our aluminum tire checker bat. We suggest the one we're selling, which is weird. So here we go, five stars, quality and service is the title of this review. Great item, many uses for it in his work. Fast shipping, thanks. Yeah, many.
Starting point is 00:51:21 You can check your tire pressure, bash a lot lizard over the head, drag her into your truck, and, you know, fucking dismember her or some, whatever these fucking trucker serial killers do. Wake up your co-pilot with it. Yeah, there you go. How do you like to turn to drive, fucker? There you go, Dickface.
Starting point is 00:51:38 Cheryl, five stars. Works great. Just as described, easy to handle, easy spell drawn. The letter E and letter Z? E-S-A-Y. S-A. A-S-A-E-S-A-E-S-A-to-handle.
Starting point is 00:51:55 I use on my water hauler tires, I get a nice little ring when struck. I even let air out one of my tires and struck it. There's a distinct difference in sound. How about that? That's interesting, right? I use it at least twice a week. No more guessing.
Starting point is 00:52:12 Twice a week? Yeah, I guess that's true. Check them out. Bobby, five stars. You need this. You too. Okay, tell us about it, Bobby. Perfect little sidekick.
Starting point is 00:52:25 What? He talks to it. Asked it what he wants to listen to on satellite radio, things like that. What station he into? Yeah, has drinks with me and picks out the hot chicks. Yeah, it knows the hot ones. It can tell. It's like he can see through clothes.
Starting point is 00:52:39 He knows. Lightweight looks friggin' sweet. Wow. Looks friggin sweet and small enough to fit in a backpack or under your seat. That guy your girl had in your butt. bed when you came home early last week isn't going to be happy if you catch them again. Holy shit, you guys.
Starting point is 00:53:04 No mention of tires in that whatsoever. Just put it in your backpack and beat the shit out of people who fuck your girlfriend. What the fuck? Beat the shit out of people your girlfriend fucks behind your back. Don't blame her by any stretch.
Starting point is 00:53:20 In your bed, by the way, because you came home early. Wow. That is amazing. Holy shit. And blame everybody that's fucking your girl. And beat him with this bat. Nine people found that helpful. That's the best part of it.
Starting point is 00:53:39 That's the best part of the review. Nine guys with unfaithful wives. Yeah, that's right. I could do that. Moll, five stars. Great bat. Great for checking all 34 tires. 34.
Starting point is 00:53:55 What the? fuck are you driving? What has 34 tires? I thought an 18 wheeler meant it has 18 fucking wheels. It's not 18 on either side. That would be 36. What has 34 fucking tires? How do you get a
Starting point is 00:54:09 34 pack? I don't understand it. How do you drive that long of a fucking truck? I am shocked. That is insane. Okay, that's the whole review. Great for checking all 34 times. Great. The next one, I haven't got into the review yet, but it's
Starting point is 00:54:25 It's fronted by a picture of one, two, three, four, five, five dead fish. Oh. Like in a duffel bag with a, a fanta on top of it. Like a 20 ounce or a fanta sitting there on top of these dead fish. Okay. That's the picture of the review? That's the picture from this review. It's five dead fish in a duffel bag.
Starting point is 00:54:48 They look pretty decent size because he's got a fanta. Got a fanta bottle, you know, to compare for size. It's like a Coke can except for fish. that you want a 20-ounce fan of bottle. I'm big my fish on. Yeah, yeah, so big my fish are. M-H-H-U-Y-N-H-M- something very Asian. Four stars. The title of it is, good for knocking out fish, rust-proof.
Starting point is 00:55:14 What? What? What are you doing? This is a tire thumper. That's a very cheap fishing pole. You just fucking gaff them in the fucking head? I just snats him out the water and whack them. Wow. I mean, like, you used to be able to do that, like, in the Hudson River when the strippers would run.
Starting point is 00:55:34 If you get a big pocket of them, you could basically put fucking bread on the surface and bashed fish as they came over. There's so fucking many of them. Giant schools of striped bass come through. That's crazy. I've heard of people doing that. You could actually do that, but I didn't know anybody did that. So I mainly bought this to humanely kill fish I catch. What?
Starting point is 00:55:58 So they don't die of the air? Yeah, so they don't drown in the air or whatever that is. You fucking bash their skulls in, their little fish skulls. Sometimes the fish are too big and thrash around my kayak. So he just beats him like the dude from in-between? He has to say, like, Neil from the in-between. Just beating that fucking fish in the boat. Did he do that with his fist?
Starting point is 00:56:24 He did. Yeah, he just said, I got to do it. He just starts beating. this fucking fish and they're like oh my god what do you do? He did punch that fish to death he just beat it to death there's blood everywhere
Starting point is 00:56:36 he looked so sad while he was doing it too he looks so sad while he was doing look at his fist his fist with blood on it too and like enjoy it no he was really sad he was like it's it's the main thing to do he's like he starts beating the shit
Starting point is 00:56:54 out of this fish also because they were scared of it. They're like, oh, my God, it's a massive fucking fish. It just starts beating the death. I prefer to kill them as quickly as possible for their sake and mine. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:13 What are they going to flip your kayak? I am terrified of this person. We don't know where the fuck. This is crazy. This bat works great for ocean fish. Aluminum means no rust. Hollow means it will float. Oh.
Starting point is 00:57:27 case you drop it. So if it gets slippery, yeah, from fish guts. And you wing it a couple waves over. Wow. Only problem with this bat is the wrap around the handle comes off quick. It's probably wasn't meant to be put in ocean water. It's a truck tire camper.
Starting point is 00:57:44 Salt water is some of the most abrasive shit. It destroys everything. Corrosive. It eats everything. It eats everything. Wow, it comes off quick and the paint job doesn't last forever. Again, in salt water, not meant to be in this. there. That's probably the reason why.
Starting point is 00:57:59 I replaced the wrap. It's meant to smack tires. Yeah. I replaced the wrap with my own paracord handle wrapping. Works great. I love this thing and the cool sticker.
Starting point is 00:58:10 Yeah. So now it's just a bunch of dead fish. It looks tactical and scary as fuck. This fucking guy kayaking with this thing ready to bash a fish over that. Two stars. This bat made the same
Starting point is 00:58:25 high pitch ping on properly. Okay, that's the title. On properly inflated tires and flat tires, they go on to say. Making inefficient as a tire checker. I returned the one I purchased. Well, I imagine the noise is supposed to come from the tire. Exactly. Exactly. The bat's always going to make the same noise, right? Pretty much. It's the tire that's the thing that's going to make a noise. Yeah, that's why a wooden one wouldn't make any ping. It would just thump on the thing. so. It'll change the tone of the type. I don't know. I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Bill, two stars. It needs to be heavier. Okay. Okay. This bat is great if it was heavier. It's just not heavy enough. I drill a hole in the end of mine and filled it full of sand. Oh my what?
Starting point is 00:59:17 God. I made it more deadly. I made this a really deadly weapon. Like, it'll crack your skull normally with this. It'll just completely. split it down the middle, down to your brainstem from this shit. Oh my God. And plug the hole.
Starting point is 00:59:31 Now it works great. Take it easy, Sammy Sosa. Wow. Yeah. Jesus Christ. Fucking egg, Greg Nettles. Quit fucking corking your bet. I've killed three, four lot lizards.
Starting point is 00:59:45 I'm telling you. Arsteen, one star. Not a tire checker for big rigs. Arsteen knows a big rig. Worthless. for what it's advertised as. Way too light to actually check big rig tires with. I normally
Starting point is 01:00:01 check my tires with a three pound hammer. This thing just bounces off and makes a cute little tink sound when you hit a tire. It's adorable. It's a thin, hollow, aluminum toy. I'm going to fix mine by drilling a hole in the end
Starting point is 01:00:17 and filling it with BBs. What? If something could be make it more dangerous than filling it with sand, It would be filling it with BBs. A bunch of steel balls. Then welding the hole back up. Hopefully, then it will be useful.
Starting point is 01:00:34 It's aluminum. So he has a tig welder. This guy is frightening. This is a frightening person. God damn. Wow. Ph.D. One star. Way too lightweight.
Starting point is 01:00:45 There's no way you could check a tire with this. If you were to attempt to club a fish with this, it would be cruel and unusual punishment. Well, we'll talk to Mr. Jung up there or whatever. This guy's killing swordfish. Self-defense, only if you could cram it down their throat. This thing is a hollow aluminum and ultra-light. Doesn't even weigh a pound, worthless. Doesn't even weigh a pound.
Starting point is 01:01:09 I bet you could hurt somebody pretty good if you whacked them in the head with it. I'll bet it's about perfect for what it's designed for, which is why they made it. Not being in saltwater, beating fish. Ramirez, one star, not even clubbed. to being a tire thumper. Way too light, as mentioned by other purchaser. Pretty much worthless. The only functions are for this
Starting point is 01:01:34 are use as a bat for midget baseball or a billy club. Yeah. That's a doctor. Yeah. Not toddler baseball. No. Let's go worse.
Starting point is 01:01:45 Yeah. Little people baseball. And also. Or a billy club. Or to beat the shit out of. Well, if the. People that I. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:55 If the dwarves aren't performing up to their capabilities, you've got to use this as discipline. Amazon customer didn't want to leave a name. One Star, useless. This is too dangerous for a kid to play with and not dangerous enough for an adult to play with. All right, that's a good way to put it, I think. That's fun. Not bad. Then finally, Rachel, One Star, did not like it.
Starting point is 01:02:21 That's it. It's a whole review. Did not like it. No reasons. All right. All right. So let's get out of there. We have, we're in our big rig. We checked our tires. Our tires are all ready to go, but you know what we need? Yeah. We need some gas, Jimmy. Let's get some gas. Let's gas up. No, we can't go anywhere. We're stopping at a shell station here at 260 Lexington Avenue in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Oh, boy. Stopping at the shell. This is a 2.3 star gas station. A gas station can get. I mean, why?
Starting point is 01:02:57 2.3. If you press the thing and gas comes out, that's higher than 2.3, right? I would think. Jessica 5 stars. I pulled up to the pump and sat for a moment, and someone came out to pump my gas. Yeah. Okay. I immediately said, oh, sorry, I'll pump.
Starting point is 01:03:14 It's cold and rainy. After a few are you shores, I said, yes, absolutely. I started pumping, and another man ran out and said, do you have diesel? and I shook my head yes immediately. He stood outside with me while I pumped and then moved on to talking with a new visitor. Who was he the fucking gas station, concierge? Leave me alone.
Starting point is 01:03:34 I'm pumping my gas. Beyond this man's caring gesture to make sure I wasn't pumping the wrong gas, you could tell he had the kindest way about him. I could have stayed and chatted with him. At the guy at the gas station. He ran out because she had the green handle and he's like, ma'am, that has a diesel in it.
Starting point is 01:03:53 That's diesel, you know that. You are putting diesel in that vehicle. You know that, right? Okay. And I want you to come back and complain when it breaks down. Don't bitch at us just because the green means go. RV five stars, very friendly guys in high quality service have replaced brake pads and patched tires with them. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:04:14 They do that too. JC four stars. Mechanics George and Georgie are honest, but ignore Nick the attendant. Oh, okay. Yeah, you can go to George and Georgie, but that Nick, boy. Nick can't identify when a car has a diesel in it. George and Georgie, two guys named George to work on your car. I'm either.
Starting point is 01:04:33 That's perfect. You know they're both George, but want us to be Georgie. Yes. The guy that got hired second goes by Georgian. Yeah. Like with us, we're both Jimmy, but yours is a birth certificate, Jimmy, and mine's James, so I can be other things. I have to do this. I have to let you have Jimmy.
Starting point is 01:04:49 I can't be what, like, my family calls me because. It would be too confusing. Yeah, my family does this because they fucking did this to me. Yeah. Chen, one star. Just like many people mentioned, the gas price is a scam, and there's a weird guy coming to you. Nick? Is that Nick?
Starting point is 01:05:09 Leave him alone. I hope they shut down ASAP. This is definitely not a real Shell gas station, L-O-L. Do they have fake ones? It's got a big fucking sign with a shell on it that says Shell. So, I mean, if I go to Golden Arches that say McDonald's, I assume it's a real one. I just do. If they offer me a frosty, I'm going to know the deal.
Starting point is 01:05:31 Yeah. If it's McDonald's, they offer me a big Mick. Our bun has no seeds. Then I know what's going on here. Sorry, coming to America. You had to have seen that. So gas station, LOL. Everyone stay away from this gas station.
Starting point is 01:05:46 All right. Next one, one star. I can't even begin to imagine what this name is. because it's not like... It's just... Yeah, symbols. It's like Arabic symbols or Russian writing or some shit that I don't know.
Starting point is 01:05:59 It's somebody from Turkmenistan or some shit here. One star, this is the worst shell gas station I've ever used. In the end, the price increased by 40 cents compared to what was advertised and what was shown on the pump. The pump shows 289, but I was charged 329. That's way off. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:18 Jesus. This is absolutely unacceptable and dishonest. Thank you for nothing. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Did you get gas? Thank them for the gas. Yeah, the gas worked. Did it make your car run?
Starting point is 01:06:31 Emily One Star. When I pulled in to get gas, I noticed the man working there, walk up and stand right by my car. I stepped out to get gas and asked if he was going to get the gas for me because that's why I assume someone might stand close. Yeah. Decent assumption. He said, no, you do it. No, no. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:06:51 I'm going to watch you move. And I asked if he was going to stand there the whole time, literally just creepily standing next to my car and right next to where I get gas. And he said, yes. You bet you. You're going to be a creep the whole time? Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Fucking A. Fucking A. I'm in. I thought this was strange and made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe as a woman. There were no other cars getting gas, so I left. Yeah. That's wild. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:07:19 You don't want Nick fucking assaulting you up against the. the pump. That's up against the 87 octane. That's weird. Yeah, Nick's a strange cat. I haven't experienced another gas station that does this. Then I looked at reviews and everyone said, this place is sketchy. Yeah. And it is. Isaac one star, all caps, sign lied about price, dishonest business. You can't do that. Why are they doing that? Not, I don't get it. It's always like a lot, too. The big sign said that gas was $2.99. but only I paid at the pump did it show 340. Are they pulling that shit where cash is one price and credit is another price?
Starting point is 01:08:03 They do that all over the East Coast a lot and it's a lot of different places, but it's usually 10 cents difference. Yeah. It's not 40 cents. It's not 40 cents. Like you'd pull in. It would get you off the road and then you'd be like, wait a minute, what the fuck? Yeah. That might be it or they just don't change their road.
Starting point is 01:08:21 side sign to get you in there. And then once you're in there, you're like, fuck it. Maybe that's it. There's no fucking way. They're paying 30 cents a gallon price to run my card. So they're making more money on using a car. And who the fuck carries, especially with the price of gas now, who the fuck is carrying that much cash?
Starting point is 01:08:43 Truckers carrying that much cash so they can get rolled by a fucking somebody in a truck stop somewhere. And that's the other thing. Those guys got to carry cash. get the cash price because those motherfuckers are putting 100 gallons in those. Exactly. That's a big difference. That's a lot of money.
Starting point is 01:08:58 This isn't putting it in your 93 Toyota Tercell. Right. Fucking Jedda getting 40 miles to the gallon. So I've been a Shell customer for many years, but whoever runs this franchise is completely dishonest and unethical. Yeah. I will be following up with Shell corporate as well as my card company. So they paid with a card. There you go.
Starting point is 01:09:19 We know that. A.W. One star. Your workers are incredibly rude and hateful, especially toward women. They just stand there and stare at you or what? I would rather drive, yeah, I'd rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to get the gas the next town over than go here. I have never felt more unsafe while just trying to get gas. I hope you can have your employees go through training on how to be better people. Listen, let's just start with better gas station employees. We don't, need to work on the rest of their lives yet, right? There's such bad people.
Starting point is 01:09:53 Just better people. This guy's a terrible father. I heard he's a bad husband. He's not very good. He's not nice to his grandma. He's a terrible person. He's a terrible father for what I understand. And a bad gas station employee.
Starting point is 01:10:08 Those things are in hand in hand. If you are a woman, I highly suggest you do not go to this shell. It's very unsafe. Okay. Nathan, one star. did an annual inspection and was told afterwards they only accept debit card. After I told them, I don't have a debit card with me, the first response was a joke to call the police and that I would be deported because I am a Chinese. Jesus.
Starting point is 01:10:34 Jesus Christ, you're still not going to get your fucking money if I'm deported, stupid. How's that going to help you? I ever will deport you? What is that? Jesus Christ. They said they only accept debit card because it's a transaction for state required inspection, and I'm, pretty sure it's a lie since the Sonoco next door accepted my credit card payment for my last exception inspection if you have the same issue report them to RMV okay um Mary Ann one star
Starting point is 01:11:01 I call I asked them to call me with an estimate if my car needed repairs during an inspection they called me back saying they had repaired my car without asking for approval because it was quote only $80 I mean we just did a little thing it's not a big deal we just wanted to call if it was like, you know, two, three grand. You don't need your transmission. We fixed it. It's no big deal. 80 bucks.
Starting point is 01:11:23 Golf it up and get out of you. Come on. They also referred me to me in condescending ways while I was there. Yeah. Condescending ways. Oh, the condescending ways. Okay. And we'll wrap it up with this one here.
Starting point is 01:11:37 Mia, one star. These people were extremely rude to my 80-year-old grandmother. These people. These people. George and George. Both of them. Bad people. Bad people. Terrible father, as we know. They made a mistake when working on her car.
Starting point is 01:11:58 When she went back to say that there was an issue, they said she should have noticed the problem before leaving. What? Well, that's on you. Once you leave the lot. Sorry. The brakes went out two miles down the road. That's her problem. Should have noticed. What'd you do, lady? What did you do to this thing? They then blamed her saying that it was her fault.
Starting point is 01:12:20 Newsflash, she's not a mechanic and she's old, exclamation. She couldn't have sabotaged her own car. Impossible. They made a mistake, which is fine, but they didn't take responsibility, and they blamed an elderly woman. That is the problem. I just know if it was a younger person or a guy, they wouldn't have not treated her that way. No, you are so wrong. No, they'd have called her a homo first.
Starting point is 01:12:50 An old homo if she was a guy. They would have called her so many drag queen names. So many slurs. And then threatened to deport her also. That's the other thing. I would never recommend a place that treats customers this way and is such a lack of respect. Wow. Lack of respect.
Starting point is 01:13:13 All because she's 80? That bitch is 80. She should really age less. No better than to age so much, stupid. So I think we'll leave it right there. That seems like a good spot to go. Well, this was a fun week. It was a fun-ass week.
Starting point is 01:13:28 We'll get back to the Shell Station. And then we have some other fun stuff here coming up. We have a, was it a park or a beach? I can't remember what I put in here. We do so many shows. What did I put in here? Oh, God, that's the shell. Yeah, oh, no.
Starting point is 01:13:43 Yeah, okay, yeah, we'll go to that. We also have a Social Security office. hit next week. We're going to hit a national park. It's going to be fucking lovely. So, thank you so much to everybody who's listening to our show here. We really, really appreciate it. We're almost three years in as we just discovered.

Definitely if you would like more, check out our other two shows because we think they're really good and other people do too. Crime and sports. You don't have to like sports.
Starting point is 01:14:16 to listen to crime in sports. You just have to like us talking about idiots who fucked their lives up who had no need to do so. It's a fall from grace and it's hilarious. And then small town murder is a crazy-ass show about murders that happen in small towns, but it's hilarious.
Starting point is 01:14:31 And you can check us out there on Netflix and do that. Keep listening. Spread the word. Also, rate and review the show. It helps a lot. Give us five stars. Don't try to be funny.
Starting point is 01:14:41 Go and I have one star. It's not funny. It's not funny. It just fucks our whole business up. So thank you. Do you ever see that Philly Crystal interview? He says that? It's not funny.
Starting point is 01:14:49 It's not fun. Oh, yeah, it's a fun. Yeah. Yeah. He was that. It was a long time ago. Anyway. So thank you so much for hanging out with us.
Starting point is 01:14:57 Like I said, listen to the shows. Do all that. Keep coming back and seeing us. Shut up and give me murder.com is where you go for everything, merchandise related and things like that. Anything about the shows. Thank you so much, everybody. And we will see you next week.
