Starting point is 00:00:00 If you're lucky enough to be different, don't let go. I spend a lot of my time and energy exploring the power of perspective, how our reality is determined by how we interpret what's in front of us. How one person can look at one thing and see pain or a problem or a barrier, and another person can look at that exact same thing and see opportunity, or a future win or a bridge to something. better. And I think one of the best examples of this is how we perceive those qualities that make us unique, those things that put us in a different category. Maybe we're a little hesitant to fully
Starting point is 00:00:47 embrace because they're not common. And when it comes to that which separates us from everyone else, well, I believe we have a decision to make. I'm going to go back to Robert Frost's fork in the road, right? He says two paths diverged in a wood. I took the one least traveled by and that made all the difference. On the surface, you could easily brush this off as trivial. It's like, oh, nice, that's cute. He took the path less traveled by.
Starting point is 00:01:22 But what does that mean? As it turns out, it means a lot. It means instead of burying what makes him different, he made it his battle cry. Instead of slipping under the radar and sneaking through life like so many of us do, he signed the dotted line for the pain of being a beginner, the struggle of being uncertain, the discipline and sometimes torturous road that is turning a passion into excellent,
Starting point is 00:01:56 trading peace of mind for the pursuit of meaning in life. Exploring what makes you unique, it takes courage. And in that message, he chooses courage. Because it's not just that you're alone. Taking that path means every step of the way, your mind screams at you reminders that you're alone. It's not just fighting traffic patterns, it's fighting your DNA. It's resisting that impulse to please sit down, shut up, and blend in.
Starting point is 00:02:36 So is it a trivial decision? I'd say not really. maybe even the most important decision you can make because I promise you it's not your commonality with those around you that will bring fulfillment that will leave a mark on your life and the world that surrounds you no it's that thing that's unequivocally you that's a little out there that's somewhat strange
Starting point is 00:03:03 that you don't know why but it's gravitational force pulls and pulls and pulls, a tug of war, where one side begs you to just relax, conform, do less, begs you to never be laughed at or criticize, to take the easy road. Then you have the other side, poking, prodding, asking you, hey, yeah, but what if? What if you sacrifice the comfort of right now? What if you explored? What if you took that which you love and you ran? with it? What if you worked for a delayed payday? What if for a moment in time when people ask you what the plan is, you have to look back and say, you know what? I'm not quite sure what I'm building.
Starting point is 00:03:50 But I'll keep pivoting until it's so clear you can see it from the moon. Those are the paths that pull us apart. And every time I've lost my way, it's because I've doubted my unique path. And I mean that. every time. It's when I become impatient with the journey or look around and see someone else winning in a different arena using different methods, different strategy, see the latest trends and success formulas. Hey man, I want part of that, right?
Starting point is 00:04:25 I'm human, I want to win, I want to succeed. But just like a little opening is enough to let in the outside water that sinks the boat. Well, a little bit of doubt is enough to derail your process. The process that you have to believe in, protect, nurture, a process that I've come to separate into two pieces. Number one, believing that the exploration of that thing that makes you unique, it's valuable. That your abilities mean something.
Starting point is 00:05:05 They're not inconsequential. They're not stupid or trivial or unnecessary. If it means something to you, it will most certainly mean something to others. And you bringing it to life not only helps yourself, evolve, grow, flourish, it helps the world. You just have to believe that enough to bring it to life. That's number one. Number two, trusting that as long as you don't stop in pursuit of your unique self, you can't lose. You can't lose.
Starting point is 00:05:43 And I don't mean continuing to ram a square peg into a round hole. I mean growing, learning, experimenting, seeing what works. There's a saying that when you hit a dead end, it's not that the goal or the dream should be abandoned. It means the plan needs to be changed or adjusted. And as you get better and more experience and continually work to adjust your strategy and your plans, Learn from your mistakes. It becomes a matter of time. You increase the odds with every step forward.
Starting point is 00:06:26 Being different is the most precious thing afforded to you. But to realize that miracle requires a combination of both the mythical and the practical, the imaginary and the real. Dream that dream. visualize that growth, create a world out of those ideas that don't exist yet. But also understand that the conversion process from dream to reality is a practical one. It requires repetition. Learning, losing, adjusting, and people don't like that.
Starting point is 00:07:07 It's much easier to blend in than spend years pushing through the agony of setting yourself apart. But it's worth it. And the evidence is so obvious, so plainly pointing to the fact that we only celebrate the outcasts, the crazy ones. We sit around campfires, listen to lectures, watch movies and documentaries about the people that had every reason to doubt themselves, but kept moving forward. About the people who could have swept their unique abilities under the rug, but instead use them as their foundation for everything. Not being distracted by what's popular or how anyone else lives or operates. Not seeking to be anyone but themselves, knowing that that is enough.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Knowing it's the seed to something precious. The only question is will you provide the right conditions and nourishment for that little seed to grow? will you do what so few people have the courage to do? Let their authentic selves shine through. Let who they are emerge. Emerson has a quote. He says, To be yourself in a world that's constantly trying to make you something else
Starting point is 00:08:34 is the greatest accomplishment. He goes on to say, My life should be unique. It should be an alms, a battle, a conquest, a medicine. And see, perpetual happiness is a fool's errand. No, life is full of trials and tribulations and ups and downs. But fulfillment comes from that quest for meaning.
Starting point is 00:09:00 For more, for building something, for creating your unique self, a process, a pursuit that must be chiseled from stone. It's never given or provided. It has to be found. Take it. And as Emerson beautifully implies, now is the time. The question is, what are you going to make with this once and a lifetime opportunity? What will you make of the possibilities that only you know, only you understand,
Starting point is 00:09:32 that only you can bring to life? Never doubt yourself or your gifts or the things that set you apart. You don't need everyone else to believe in them. You just need to convince yourself. Everything else, it falls right into place. What's up, guys, Eddie here. And before we jump into the next chapter, just a quick note. So, as many of you know, every single video that I've ever put on this channel
Starting point is 00:10:21 has been created with the intent of building momentum in your life. If you want something physical to anchor that momentum, we've created the brand AGNS, or always grateful, never satisfied for that exact reason. Athletic apparel that embodies the very ideas and concepts I talk about every day. Because you're watching on YouTube or Spotify, we've created a code for this exclusive community, YWW20. You can use that on the website, agns. Lifestyle.
Starting point is 00:10:52 We're right under this video on YouTube. All this stuff is there in the shop. Again, code YWW20 gets you 20% off the entire store. It's a great way to support the channel and also elevate your journey. Let it be a reminder to keep showing up. Appreciate your time. Always grateful, never satisfied. On to the next.
Starting point is 00:11:17 You belong here. This was something that was said to the class during yoga the other day. As I've said before, yoga is something I'm really tart. turning to is both a mental and physical approach to a lot of the injuries and imbalances I've been dealing with for a very long time. And part of that, you know, starting something new was obviously not knowing what you're doing. It's a willingness to play the fool to be this student. It's signing up to be, you know, at times the worst in the room.
Starting point is 00:11:55 And so I hear the instructor say this line, you belong here, and then kind of repeat it again for emphasis. it hit me hard, you know, and I'll never know if this was prompted by me flailing around in the back, trying to do crow pose, or she just felt like, you know, it needed to be expressed in the moment. I'm not sure, but what I do know is that it was exactly what I needed to hear. And in fact, it's what I've needed to hear throughout many stages of my life, which is why I think it hits so hard. Now I want to unpack it for a second. When I moved to Massachusetts, after spending the vast majority of my childhood in the Los Angeles area,
Starting point is 00:12:42 I used to joke around with my friends back in L.A. I'm like, this is so different that it feels like a culture shock, right? It seems so little of the world. Why do these guys not where dickies are spiked their hair? Everyone has cargo shorts and new balances. What's happening here, right? You know, but all jokes aside, when you're a freshman in high school, that's a big, The differences were many.
Starting point is 00:13:04 And it took a while, you know, but I acclimated. I made friends. I did the thing. But persistently, in the back of my head, I felt like an outsider, making my home somewhere that wasn't really mine. Like, I didn't really belong there. Then came college. I went to a small private school where most of the students I knew came from prep schools,
Starting point is 00:13:28 and I had somewhat of a more rigorous academic background than I did. And I decided to be a political science major, basically living in my professor's offices during their hours when they would spend extra time helping me write, showing me how to organize my thoughts and put together analytical papers. It was a long and stressful learning curve. I mean, just like before, I figured it out, did fine academically. But again, never really felt like I belonged there. There were some of the same sentiments with, you know, walking on to the rowing team
Starting point is 00:14:07 where many of the recruits had been doing it all their lives. Same thing in the corporate world. It felt a little out of place. It was a feeling that never prevented me from starting. You know, I'd dive in, I'd figure it out. But there was always this lingering fish out of water feeling that I couldn't shake. I'm kind of a tangent, but this is, you know, one of the funniest moments for me looking back. In my early 20s, I was at an interview.
Starting point is 00:14:34 at some insurance company in Boston. The guy interviewing me is sitting on one end of a desk, I'm with the other. He's holding a physical copy of my resume and cover letter, not saying a word, just kind of scanning them up and down. Then he slowly kind of drops them on the desk and goes, So Eddie, tell me more about... And pauses. Looks back down at my cover letter, back up at me,
Starting point is 00:15:01 back down at my cover letter. then he traces the first line of the cover letter, quoting it as his finger moves across the paper. He goes, tell me more about how, quote, your lifelong dream is to become a data analyst. And I was like, oh my God, this guy sees right through me, Eddie, what are you doing, man? Like, this ain't it, you know? And I crack myself up every time my mind goes back there. It's the epitome of square peg round hole, and I would consistently find myself in that position. Right, but, you know, I digress.
Starting point is 00:15:35 The point is, me feeling like I'm on the outside looking in has been somewhat of a theme. Even in the areas of my life where I was finding success, like I couldn't totally be there. Like, find the things that are important to me and commit to them fully. And I'd be lying if I said it didn't still exist today. Right? I've worked like a madman for 10 years to build this company and this brand. and certainly I've seen some progress. In this industry, I've gotten to surround myself
Starting point is 00:16:08 with some incredible people, and every time I walk into a room with folks that I've looked up to for years, I'm grateful, which is good, but sometimes too grateful, which is my entire point, right? At some point you have to transform from looking up to into being one of
Starting point is 00:16:32 to give yourself permission to belong and yes you need to do the work and yes confidence is earned but if you don't give yourself permission to do a thing not kind of or sort of but to fully with all your heart and soul be that thing I think you'll always be leaving
Starting point is 00:16:57 part of yourself on the shelf It feels like, to me, a lingering defense mechanism. You can't be great if you're not all in. And part of growth has been reflecting and asking, hey, you say you're all in, but are you? Are you immersed? And that's what I want. I think to some extent that's what we all want,
Starting point is 00:17:23 to not just do it, but be it. In a million years, I don't think my yoga teacher would expect it. A word's prompted a 10-minute rant, starting with my childhood on the West Coast, but man, did that comment create a light bulb moment for me. It's set the stage for such a beautiful epiphany. It's like you've been doing the thing for 10 years. You've grown in so many areas,
Starting point is 00:17:48 but have you given yourself permission to become what you're seeking? Not kind of, but pour yourself into it. It's who you are, the environment, the people, the variables, the ups and the downs, all of it is who you are. Just imagine what that freedom would allow. Go be the thing. More, more, more, more fully all you have to give. So yoga class this morning showed up.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Even though I suck, even though I'm learning, decided, hey, little symbolism here. No more hiding in the back of the room. Step into those neon green lights. Move towards the front. You no longer do things, even the little things, to simply scrape by or exist. Do it to be it. If you're going to do anything, do it to be it.
Starting point is 00:18:54 You belong here. Help me realize what being it really is. That maybe I'd let my definition slip. Maybe my understanding wasn't wide or all-encompassing enough. And yeah, there's a line we need to walk, no question, we must be on the path to acquiring competency in something before we can make it our own. But the beauty of podcasts and audible and books, all our media outlets, it's that other people's growth and understanding can fast track our own. I learn from this experience. Life is too short to always feel like you are on the outside looking in.
Starting point is 00:19:41 It just is. If you earned a chair at the table, be at the table. If you were let into the room, work the room. If you're spending time and energy doing something, be that thing. Don't deprive yourself of that precious alignment because it's such a beautiful thing when we allow ourselves to feel it and obtain it. Like so many things, it starts with you giving you permission. It starts with a simple understanding.
Starting point is 00:20:16 You may be new, you may be struggling. Unsure, you might have a hell of a mountain to climb, a journey to travel. You might have extra work to do. You might have to add some things and cut away others. You might have to ask yourself the tough questions and accept the difficult answers. But you do, my friend, belong here.
Starting point is 00:20:56 What is it that you carry around? The other day, I was walking into a breathwork session. It's the third session I've been to, and every time I go, it's this, you know, beautiful perspective shift, this necessary recalibration. So it was super excited about this one. My friend Lindsay Bell was putting it on, and at some point during the session, she said these words. just because you care doesn't mean you need to carry it.
Starting point is 00:21:31 And it might not have been the exact words, I'm paraphrasing, but want to make sure I give credit where credits do. And I'm laying there on my back, you know, focusing on breath and, you know, couldn't really think at the moment. But I said to myself, come back to this later, because it sounds profound, and I bet you'll be glad that you did. And I did come back to it later, and I'm very grateful that I did. See, one of the things that I took from the breathwork session was calm.
Starting point is 00:22:09 It was managing my day-to-day, dealing with adversity, trying to keep it all together as I say yes and step into more responsibility. All of that in my world, it becomes tension. Even when I don't realize it, you know, I carry it in my shoulder. shoulders, in my muscles, I get tension headaches, just carry it around physically. And so, perfect example. I was almost late getting to the session. My car is telling me that my back rear tire has 12 PSI. I'm putting air in it. It's deflating. I'm like, do I need to patch it? You know, worst case scenario, am I getting into tires? Is it okay? Is it going to explode on the road? All these things, right? So I drive it almost.
Starting point is 00:22:57 flat to the place and I run in. And, you know, it's just one thing among many on my mind, right? Eight videos to make. I have a keynote speech in two days at a conference. All these things are sort of playing back and forth in my brain and I lay down.
Starting point is 00:23:13 I notice my body is literally pulsating. And I don't mean literally in the sense that's been, you know, hijacked recently. I mean literally, truly vibrating on the floor. And I'm just having a conversation with myself.
Starting point is 00:23:32 It's like, you think there are obstacles and challenges out there. This right here is your adversary. This is something you need to solve for. It almost felt like I was losing the plot, right? It's like, this can't be the baseline I exist on, sometimes navigating higher and lower, but that being normal. Like, that type of tension should not be normal.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Even though, you know, I have things going on despite the ambitions, despite the change, it's like you need to remind yourself that life is a game. And in the grand scheme of things, none of this. Like, zero percent of it matters. This is a little side quest to gain some perspective here. It's funny when the small thing. start to feel like the big things, we're often too far in the weeds, right? We need to pull ourselves up
Starting point is 00:24:32 and, you know, see the garden again in its totality. And so just moving back to the breath, separating myself from everything, it was amazing. You know, and as I took a walk later that night, Lindsay's saying, just because you care doesn't mean you need to carry it, became more and more profound. I think the missing,
Starting point is 00:24:55 link there, and what it helped me in a sense rediscover, is that everything comes back to trust. You know, you can care about not getting a flat in the middle of the road, and by the way, you should. You should care about your work on YouTube. You should care about
Starting point is 00:25:12 crushing the keynote at the conference. You should care about all those things. But you can also separate yourself from the outcome, and trust that you, day by day, minute by minute, are doing everything that's required to bring that ideal outcome to life.
Starting point is 00:25:31 You have to trust yourself, right? Do the thing without carrying the pressure of doing the thing. That's the goal. You can only control what you can control. And accomplishing this has been a lifelong journey, by the way. Like, sometimes I do great with it. Sometimes I temporarily lose sight of the big picture altogether. But I understand.
Starting point is 00:25:58 the value and the art of cutting away. And I would advocate everyone do the same. We don't have to carry the weight of those things we're working towards. We don't have to carry the weight of the expectations or the hypotheticals. We don't have to carry the weight of others' opinions or those pieces of the past that we feel like we are tied to. All of that can go. If it matters, move towards it.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Trust your ability to navigate. Trust yourself to conquer anything that comes at you and let that be enough. It's been a great few days since that class because I feel like I was able to shake my life up like a snow glow. Rediscover that even with the chaos flying around, there are only a few things worthy of my attention. There's only so much I can do.
Starting point is 00:26:55 It's like the metaphorical hand of God reminding me, dude, everything is going to be fine. When you simplify a necessary component of carrying less, you force yourself to ask, hey, what really matters here? Right. And then, you know, you are able to chip away at those things. And shipping away is your superpower. Like, what else can you do other than ship away at the necessary things? Nothing. And by the way, you need nothing else.
Starting point is 00:27:40 So why the extra clutter? Why the chaos? Why the noise? Find stillness in the simple fact that everything is going to be fine and it's going to be fine because there's nothing you can't handle. There's nothing too big or complex for you. You might hear this and think, okay, that's obvious. That's simple.
Starting point is 00:28:01 I will never cease to be amazed how it is the simple rules of life that when we let them slip away, the wheels come off the wagon. It is the simple things we need to harness and keep by our side. Simple is the sun around which everything else revolves. Don't carry the weight of what can't be altered. Instead, fall in love with the current moment. Be proud of the trust you have in yourself. Know that the pieces will fall where they're meant to.
Starting point is 00:28:48 And they'll fall where they're meant to because rather than being chained to their outcome, you freed yourself. You focused instead on the brushstroke being painted in real time. That is how a masterpiece comes to life. The freedom to care about the portrait without carrying the pressure contained
Starting point is 00:29:15 in its materialization. Care, but don't carry. The other day, I heard someone say that they've found some of the most important things in their life in places where they weren't supposed to find them. Which is interesting to me. One, because that seems to happen a lot. And two, because it's like who creates the parameters
Starting point is 00:30:03 around what we're supposed to do? Who sets the rules to begin with? You know, I'm continuously blown away by our tendency to create imaginary walls and then live within them. To build steel bars around ourselves. that separate the now from future opportunity. In one of the first videos I ever made,
Starting point is 00:30:31 I talked about this nagging feeling of discomfort that occurred right after I left the corporate world and started my own business. And at that point, to call it a business, I was giving myself a lot of credit. I was basically just starting to make videos and put them out on social media. But I would run in the middle of the day. Right, that was my thing.
Starting point is 00:30:51 Right through Boston along the Charles River, I loved running. But I couldn't help feeling this guilt like I wasn't supposed to. Like I was doing the wrong thing, doing what I was taught not to do. My whole life, I learned that you go to school or work during the day.
Starting point is 00:31:11 That's the right thing. In a decade removed, I've grown, and I've learned. I know how crazy it sounds now. But it took me a long time to even enjoy it and not feel like some devian who was leaving everything he'd worked for up to that point to go and fail spectacularly. The supposed to followed me around like a shadow, constantly trying to pull me back in. Freedom to me is separating oneself from this exact sentiment. It's doing what's best for you, exploring your own worldview, blazing as the saying goes, your own trail.
Starting point is 00:31:56 because you'll find very few supposed tos there. I think this is a microcosm of a greater truth. The most important things we do in life, our pivotal moments, our epiphanies are found where we weren't supposed to find them. Because what we're supposed to do is very rarely methodically thought out. It's simply the norm. It's marching orders.
Starting point is 00:32:27 It's what the crowd is doing. It's what will help us blend in. And it's interesting, as I've pushed further and further into life, I've come to believe that rarely is what's best all one thing or all another. It's working to find a balance that supports your ideal life trajectory. That balance will lean substantially more one way or another depending on who you are and what's important to you. And so, I'm not suggesting one always needs to be different. Or if something is common, it's wrong. No, thousands of years of evolution and societal stressors have in many ways narrowed down for us what's effective and efficient.
Starting point is 00:33:10 It's helped us survive. And to dismiss this outright is obviously counterproductive, but it does explain why any break from these norms physically hurts. We associate them with survival. And here lies the divide between surviving, which we are supposed to do, and excelling, which is to embark upon a different game altogether. Survival is mitigating risk. Excelling is hunting down the opportunity. Survival is blending in.
Starting point is 00:33:52 Excelling is asking, what about me is unique and how can I dive into that fully? Survival is not having to innovate on any large scale because the instructions are clear and laid out for you. Excelling is asking, now that I know the rules, how can I bend and maybe even break them so that I can improve my life and the lives of those around me. Now, I'll continue with the same example, because I know a lot of folks find themselves in a similar situation now. I wasn't supposed to deviate from my previous life trajectory, my education, my career track, my 401k, but I did, and I found something I otherwise would never have, an ability to work on what I enjoy
Starting point is 00:34:42 and share that with others. I wasn't supposed to leave home, the Northeast. The most important people in my life live up there, but I've found comfort, peace, and new beginnings down here that I never would have experienced. I wasn't supposed to do many of the things I'm doing today. It was a genuine curiosity and a willingness to chase down what's meaningful. And the beautiful thing is, anyone can do that. Every single one of us can detach and depart from the supposed to's in our lives. And hey, maybe some of them should be there. Maybe some are adding value and stability that you need and maybe even cherish.
Starting point is 00:35:30 But I can promise some of them aren't. And it's worth a look. It's worth thinking about those things. Where can we be a little braver, a little more courageous? Where can we venture outside the scope of what we've subconsciously deemed every day life? I love the notion that there's always more in you. You just need to give yourself permission to pursue it. It only makes sense that no journey begins until we give it the green light.
Starting point is 00:36:13 The world is yours once you give yourself permission to pursue it. So what are you conceding? What have you accepted as fact that upon further review you might find to be fitcher? There's a world of infinite opportunity waiting for you. Just past your acceptance of the way things are. just beyond all those supposed to. I was thinking about something recently, something we've probably all heard before,
Starting point is 00:36:55 and in some cases already know. But that's why it warrants a little bit of discussion. It's not about knowing, it's about executing, which are two very different things. And so I'll start here with the idea that everything is relative. Right? Someone who runs five miles a day and then starts hanging out with people who all run 10 miles a day Is more than likely going to at least ask themselves the question Could I be running more? Should I? Right, that's just human nature
Starting point is 00:37:31 One's perception of normality shifts when they're around people or circumstances that stretch it And as far as I can tell this can be applied to anything I remember a friend of mine probably about five years ago now asked me what my monthly revenue goal was and I remember telling him and he paused and looked kind of puzzled and asks why only that and I thought only that right that's a big number I was reaching there but that encounter I still remember it rocked my worldview
Starting point is 00:38:07 it's like okay wow I need to move some things around I need to aim higher is an important convoy for me. And I think, you know, there's often a negative connotation we apply to this concept, right? Comparison being the thief of joy. They're always being more to acquire. It's a tool. And when not utilized the right way or internalized the right way can be unhealthy. But there's also, when utilized correctly, something not only healthy, but incredibly powerful and advantageous about it.
Starting point is 00:38:40 We need to be reminded that we're capable of more, otherwise our worldview can't stretch. We're able to extend far beyond the reality we find ourselves in, but that fact alone does us no good. We have to position ourselves to see, to feel, to believe the more. A good friend of mine and I started reporting to each other daily the workouts we do now twice a day. And the funny thing is, it didn't start out twice. today. But just, you know, the nature of not wanting to be the guy who does less. You know, we've been friends for a while, we're all about helping each other be better in business and fitness and you name it, and you can bet when I've been running around working all day
Starting point is 00:39:28 and I'm tired and the little voice in my head starts whispering, well, you already got a workout in earlier. Just go really hard tomorrow instead, you'll be fine. But then my phone buzzes and it's a screenshot of his workout staffs. It's like, nope, have to find time to do it. He's tired. He has a job and a family. He wants to crack a beer or grab a burger, but he didn't. And the fact that he reached for more makes me realize, hey, so can I. Makes me ask, what are my targets? Are they big enough? Right. And that's been incredibly effective. Prompting, you know, this conversation, making me realize, you know, there's something to this. How can you? How How can I position myself so that I have line of sight to that precious abundance in the other
Starting point is 00:40:18 areas of my life that I deem important? How can I nurture the relationships I have that serve as a reminder that there is always another level? It's not that I'm not proud and grateful. I'm both of those things.
Starting point is 00:40:46 Instead, I love the journey. I love the challenge of seeing what I can become and know that our default is to get so consumed by the current way of things. Starting point is 00:41:10 in your head for whatever your values are whatever you're trying to improve. As someone who just loves to write and create, it's easy for me to put all that stuff second, so this is going to hold me accountable. Fitness, I already mentioned.
Starting point is 00:41:41 This one's new. I have a few friends that I started meeting up with just to get out, to unwind, do nothing business-related at all, which is just as critical as work, right? I have to make time to soak in the world around me. And there are others as well, but you get the idea, right? It's teaming up with those people in my life
Starting point is 00:42:03 where our values overlap and we can help each other win. The saying goes, you're the average of the five people, you spend the most time. But now imagine taking that a step further. Reaching out to those people and teaming up to help position each other to succeed. You get the accountability, the camaraderie. You become a team looking to get the most of your time on this planet.
Starting point is 00:42:35 I've stated many times that my belief is the pieces exist around us to do so many things. incredible things, monumental things. But how we mix, match, and utilize those pieces, the world around us determines that. So let's ask the question, what is a life well lived to me, and how can I tangibly position myself to obtain it? How can I help those I care about obtain it?
Starting point is 00:43:10 Those are some powerful questions, and will ultimately lead to some incredible growth.
