Welcome to Your World Within Daily.
I'm Eddie Panero.
In this episode, we're going to talk about the power of persistence.
I want to tell you a story about a good friend of mine
and how the little decisions became the miraculous.
So good morning, good morning, per usual.
I hope you're well.
I hope you're up.
I hope you're ready to rock and roll.
Well, I guess by default, you have to be up.
But physically, mentally, up, ready to roll.
I have a story today about a good friend of mine.
Some of you probably know him if you follow my YouTube stuff.
We've done videos like rabbit hole and voices and the beautiful ones and a lot of the kind of like the pet projects that I put out there.
And some of those videos I'm more proud of than anything else.
and his name's Zach.
And essentially, I got a message from him the other day that said he got one million views on unsplash, right?
So he's a photographer, videographer, but it's part-time.
And the cool thing about Zach, so we met in the corporate world.
We were in the same sort of leadership program.
He was a year ahead of me.
And, you know, I've looked up to him.
I've been learning from him for a while now.
And he's had an interesting, let's say, couple years, right?
And I'm not sure if he's going to kill me for saying this, but, you know, work, family.
He's incredible dad, you know, new baby, all these things.
And, you know, life really stretched him.
And from afar, you know, I could see that.
the challenges and what that presented, but he has an artistic side and a passion for the camera,
right? And one of the most incredible things is seeing this dude go from zero to 100, right? There's no one I
enjoy working with more than him. I think he's one of the best photographers I know. And when I got that
text that was like, hey, just hit a million on unsplash, which is, it's like a, it's a photo
site, but it's like really cool, different artistic types of photos. It's not like your generic
stock stuff. And my first thought was, you know this is not about the one million, right?
This is about taking that camera everywhere you go, taking pictures and videos of your son,
you know, outside and documenting his experience and, you know, between hours at work, editing,
and making, and all this hard work, and it just made me realize, right? And this is the point that I'm
getting to, because yeah, this is a congratulations to a friend, but it's also more importantly,
you know, the inspiration in our lives, you know, doesn't have to be multi-million dollar
entertainers and all these people on TV and with millions of views on the internet.
right this dude has literally kept a dream alive little by little not quitting continuing to grow
and execute on a strengthen on something that matters to him through i think what he would say is
one of the most challenging times of his life and so it's like yeah a million on unsplash great that's a
million a million views but what really is it it's a testament to who you are and it's a testament to
to what we can all be.
Right?
We create excuses and boundaries and barriers.
When if you want something, if something's important to you, it's like there's a way.
Right?
There's that old saying.
If you don't want it, you'll find an excuse.
If you do, you'll find a way.
And it's just been really cool to see someone pursue something like that.
To never let the world dictate.
what you are or what you can be or what you can do.
You know, it's a reminder.
Yesterday I talked about how your world within is creating your reality.
Well, it's a reminder just how much control we have over our lives.
And, you know, the inspiration, the people that can highlight a path for us,
they're often right next to us, they're around us.
We're amidst them day in and day out.
You just have to see that.
So I'll wrap it up there.
Cap tip to Zach Kadoff and reminder to myself, to everyone else
that this world can't tell you who you are or what you're capable of.
That's for you and you alone.
All right.
Have an amazing day.
