Starting point is 00:00:00 Good morning. Welcome to Your World Within Daily. I'm Eddie Panero and just excited to be here. Simple as that. Excited to be here with you getting ready for the day. So much good to come. This podcast is already something I'm incredibly proud of. Already something I've salvaged from this period of time that you know you kind of see the momentum. You feel it bleed into other aspects of your day. other projects that I'm working on, my other businesses, it just pushes right through. Everything becomes more exciting. And I'm going to keep advocating that we all look for that. Because I know that this stretch can be something of value. There's a win here.
Starting point is 00:00:50 Let's be the group. Let's commit to being the group that when it's over, we didn't settle for net neutral. We found a win or a victory. Something that maybe changes the trajectory of what we're doing. I just so strongly believe in when people are worried or concerned or finding the negative, you know, being the ones and find the win. I always say, you know, waking up at 5 a.m., the beauty for me, the value for me, is not the two hours or three hours even between 5 and 8.
Starting point is 00:01:27 when the rest of the world wakes up, it's knowing that I'm ahead. It's that weird type of association with being different. Because over time, I've identified as that person, and it just makes me feel good. And I don't know what Dr. Freud would say about that, but that's just a reality of it. I mean, it's, when I know I'm doing things that few people would do, I get jacked up. I get excited. And it carries through my day. So, yeah, the quiet time between five and eight is great. But who you become doing that is everything, right?
Starting point is 00:02:17 Because I've always said, you identify yourself as something and then you follow through. You decide who you are and then you become that. Your actions back it up. But it all starts with becoming that. And those little things truly define you. I'm going to read you a quote. I've posted this a few times. Its author keeps coming across as anonymous.
Starting point is 00:02:44 But it is beautifully stated. He says, beware of the quiet man. For while others speak, he watches. and while others act, he plans. And when they finally rest, he strikes. I'm a quote guy. I post a lot of quotes. I know a lot of quotes.
Starting point is 00:03:07 They're powerful. They're moving. They're emotional. This to me just resonates with, you know, who I am and who I want to be. Someone that just works. Right? You know, there are two times. types of people.
Starting point is 00:03:24 They're the ones that, you know, they're always the loudest one in the room. They're always talking about what they've done and what they're going to do. And over the years, you know, dealing with different types of people and different situations, you start to realize that means very little. What people say means very little. The power is in the one. that works that doesn't talk but keeps moving forward, keeps making progress. Let's his or her wins scream from the mountaintop, right?
Starting point is 00:04:08 Their accomplishments. I remember I had a speaking engagement a couple weeks ago, and I had a chance to talk and chat with the people in attendance, as well as the other speakers. And someone comes up to me and they're telling me how rich they are, how important they are, how much they've done, how much they have in the pipeline, how great their business is. And I couldn't help it, you know, feel bad, right? Because one, it speaks to a lack of contentment in life, right?
Starting point is 00:04:40 Just unhappiness. And two, people that are happy don't go around screaming that they're happy. People that have money don't go around talking about their money. people that are feeling good about their lives aren't constantly promising the world that they'll do great things a year from now. You know, there's that famous picture of Gates in Zuckerberg wearing jeans and T-shirts. It's like richest men, I forget what it said exactly, it was like richest men in the world. A couple of them. No Gucci belts in sight, right?
Starting point is 00:05:10 No flash. Just doing what needs to be done. Just making it happen. Just adding value to the world. the other stuff the minutia the need to flash to need to impress like it's fun i get it right and maybe from a marketing standpoint it can be strategic in some places i understand but you're not going to get fulfillment following that also it's indicative of a hole in your own life that you're trying to fill there's such such power in
Starting point is 00:05:48 just building, just creating. Not talking about what you're going to do, because when you're adding enough value, you don't need to talk. When you're succeeding, when you're, and even succeeding, what does that mean, right? That's a subjective term. But when you're making progress towards your goal,
Starting point is 00:06:09 that's what matters. You feel good about yourself, and it carries through. So focus on that. Focus on you. block out the externalities, block out the people saying how great their life is and how much they're doing. 99% of it's BS anyway. But let's not compare ourselves to other people and the images they put up.
Starting point is 00:06:38 There's no value there. Just like you'd block out someone that's always negative and saying how bad things are. Nope. That's not how you want to see the world. What we want to do is be the ones. who have a line of sight, who have a North Star, and pursue it. And other people can scream about how great things are, good. In one ear, out the other.
Starting point is 00:07:02 People can talk about how bad life is and how tragic. Fine. In one ear, out the other. But focus on you. You have important things to do. You are going to change your life. You are going to change the world. That's what matters.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Keep your head down and work. make it happen believe in yourself in 2020 i'll keep saying this in 2020 the resources are there to do what you want if you're at point a and you want a point b that point b is there and it's very real the question is will you connect the dot not talk about connecting the dots people around you think you're connecting the dots. But you have the courage day in and day out to connect the dots. Because if you do that, people will notice. All right, guys, I'm going to leave it at that.
Starting point is 00:08:08 Quick side note. Looks like this is going to be released around 9 a.m. today this morning, which as far as I'm concerned, a little too late. I'm getting my hands around the podcasting thing, trying to fill it out. My other podcasts, the books to business one, You know, our producer, Stephen Selly, takes care of a lot of this stuff. So I'm trying to, you know, kind of figure it out.
Starting point is 00:08:28 There's going to be some bumps along the way. This has got to be released earlier, obviously, morning show. If you can send me a message, if you have some thoughts or input around timing, I am Eddie Panero. That's my handle, both on Twitter and Instagram. I am Eddie Pinero. So let me know if you have an ideal time, any thoughts around when would be the most beneficial, the most valuable. That's the goal. I want to make sure this is accessible and convenient for you. And we'll go from there. Have an amazing day. Keep crushing it. And I will see you tomorrow morning.
