You're The Voice | by Efrat Fenigson - Canada's Controlled Demolition - Karla Treadway & Dave Bradley | Ep.164
Episode Date: September 23, 2026Canada is being dismantled so fast it feels like a controlled demolition, a showcase of where Agenda 2030 wants to take the West. The country people once dreamed of moving to, with four people per squ...are kilometer and nice neighbors, seems unrecognizable today. Karla Treadway is a writer, speaker, and host of the Sovereign Sphere podcast, based in Ontario, where she homesteads. Dave Bradley is a Bitcoin OG, cofounder of Bull-Bitcoin and a strong Alberta independence advocate based in Calgary. Both have been on the show before, both are staying and fighting. We dig into Carney's real assignment, censorship bills, mass immigration and whether it is malice, the leave or stay dilemma, and why AI may split the world into high tech vs super analog.→ Please like, comment, share & subscribe, to help me beat the suppressing algo's. Our government is literally one of the most evil governments in the world,
and I would put the intentions of our leaders towards our population right up there with leaders like Kim Jong-un.
Carney was selected by the globalists. He's a technocrat. He hasn't even lived in Canada for 10 years.
They just parachuted him in. His family doesn't live in Canada.
I think there's a good chance we never have another election in Canada.
Are you seeing any signs of technocracy creeping in?
The idea that a year from now, we would be imprisoned for this podcast is not.
far-fetched.
I'm not going to go to prison for my podcast.
So if that pressure starts to mount, then, you know, either I'm shutting down the show or
moving.
When do you leave?
When do you stay?
Is there like a boiling point where you're like, I can't take it anymore?
The one thing that I think could flip this country overnight is the mass immigration.
In this case, I'm quite certain that it is malice, that these people are being brought
in here on mass to create a voter base for the leftists.
and to destabilize our society.
I think the world's actually going to split.
It's going to go high tech and super analog.
You can either be at the top of the AI echelon,
or you can know how to build a house and hunt
and do these things that most people in society can't do anymore.
This is our place and they can't fucking have it.
I get it. We're all parents, you know.
We all have children.
I totally get why you want your home,
your home country, your city to be a better place.
But it's just really challenging these days.
You know, this is also why I do the podcast, I think,
because people like you, like speaking with you guys,
this is just what gives me hope.
Hello, welcome to another episode of Your The Voice.
I'm here with two great people, great friends, Carla, and Dave.
How are you guys doing?
Fantastic.
So good to be here with you.
I've now learned that you guys know each other.
I thought I'm bringing you together for the first time.
but freedom lovers unite?
I don't know.
We just magnetize?
Yeah.
Like minds,
alike, right?
I've been trying to reach out.
I found Carla,
like most people complaining about
government tyranny on the internet
and reached out through mutual friend
because I was putting on a conference
where I wanted to bring in all of the
sort of like what I thought were the communities
that were going to be filled
with the next round of Bitcoiners.
And ultimately,
it's just people with the same.
same complaints, right? Like, we're all mad that the government is screwing us and overreaching
with their authority and really just turning into cartoonish super villains. And there she was.
Yeah. You're in a mess at it. It was so good to connect in that room because we had, yeah,
Bitcoiners. We had people in media. We had people with different views on like alternative
health care, psychedelic. So, and ultimately, like, yeah, together we're stronger. So, so,
Everybody has like their thing, whether it's politics or media or finance, the more that we can all
work together on these issues, the better.
Absolutely.
So thank you both for making it for coming together.
Of course, it's no, it's no coincidence that you know each other.
For my audience that may have not seen the last two episodes with you guys, I'm just going
to quickly introduce you.
So ladies first, Carla, is the host of Sovereign Sphere podcast.
a marketing strategist for freedom-minded entrepreneurs and a homesteader living off-grade adjacent
in rural Ontario, right?
Everything except for the off-grid, I'm very much on-grid, internet, all these things,
but if the electrical grid went down, treadways would be just fine.
Yeah, you're ready for an off-grade, right.
You're an off-grid-ready kind of person.
We're ready for that Mad Max scenario.
Off-grid adjacent.
Right. And episode 131, go watch it. We chat on a variety of interesting stuff there, including some of the stuff that we're going to touch on today about Canada. But go watch episode 131 and then go to episode 150. That was just on recently with Dave, who is a Bitcoin entrepreneur and Alberta Independence Advocate. He's the co-founder of Bull Bitcoin and the host of Bitcoin Rodeo conference.
various other events and projects that he takes on.
He does a lot of things.
So you guys, I've invited you and together because I have been observing a very interesting
phenomena.
Since I've been covering the topic of Canada on my podcast with you too and also with
a few other, Midex and Ben and a few other people that have been speaking about Canada
and also Alberta, I've been seeing like crazy.
crazy engagement from Canadians on all my social media channels.
And they are highly engaged, whether it's positively or negatively.
And it made me think because it was attracting those two crowds,
people who agree that Canada is in trouble and want to see a change and that Carney is,
you know, is not doing anything good for the country.
And on the other side, you had the Carney defenders who push back hard.
on any criticism.
Why is this topic so engaging?
Have we kind of reached a boiling point in Canada?
Or is it just the algorithms?
This was unusual.
Yeah, I mean, I think it's,
I think Canada is unusual.
I think Canada is kind of flying under the radar
as one of the most tyrannical nations in the world.
You know, our government is literally
one of the most evil governments in the world.
And I would put the intentions of our leaders
towards our population right up there with leaders like, you know, Kim Jong-un.
I don't see there being a difference between Mark Carney and Kim Jong-un.
And yet at the same time, we are blessed with the fact that the, you know, and this is true of
all governments all around the world, but ours is unique in that they're extremely incompetent.
So these are people who want to subjugate us and who want to step on our necks.
But luckily for us, they're just bad at everything.
And so they've been going through this kind of like I mentioned,
cartoonish super villain loop where they keep doing insane shit every couple weeks.
And, you know, COVID being the most insane shit that they've pulled recently.
And every time they do that, they wake up more people.
And so I think we're in this really divided country now where you've got a bunch of people
who are still brainwashed by the Canadian and, you know,
are also just following their their incentives.
The people who are paid to stay in Confederation,
there are people whose jobs depend on the government access.
And on the flip side,
you've got all the people who've woken up from all this nonsense.
And, you know,
those are the people who want to see that kind of content, I guess.
So that's my explanation.
Carla?
I mean,
I think at this point,
if anyone is still praising the current liberal government,
It's simply because they really aren't looking at outcomes.
They have no idea what's going on.
You know, for better or for worse, the United States has more balanced media.
They have CNN and Fox News for all of their flaws.
They have left and right.
Every single news outlet, for the most part, every single mainstream news outlet in Canada is MSNBC.
It's the BBC, but worse.
But Canadians think that they're doing their due diligence because they watched global.
and CTV and CBC, so they think that they're getting well-rounded coverage.
Now, most people aren't even doing that.
They're not really paying attention to the news.
But let's say they're a political nerd like me, and they go a few steps further.
Let's say they watch a CPAC video, which is live unfiltered footage of the House of Commons.
Let's say they do that, which nobody is.
What we're going to see is a circus, a song and dance, a performance,
where the liberal government will stand up in the house and say things like,
we're the fastest growing economy in the G7, and life has never been more affordable,
which are flat out lies.
Now, not only are people not getting to that point, but if they actually did,
they're going to be met with hardcore lies, and there's no penalty for lying in the house.
So they just don't have accurate information of any kind.
And unfortunately, because people are busy, they're making decisions based off a very
superficial metrics.
Like, we like the tone of Carney's voice.
Or he made an announcement.
And he's almost lulling people to sleep,
where it's very easy to look at someone like Trump
and just be like, well, I don't like his personality.
He talks.
Like, he's obviously evil.
Like, yes, he's doing some things too,
obviously that is upsetting Canadians.
But the liberals just lull people to sleep with tone of voice lies.
So they really have no idea what's going.
going on. Wow.
Yeah. I think I think Trump really picked Carney. Like Carney,
Carney didn't really have a chance to win. His predecessor, Justin Trudeau, was one of the
least popular prime ministers in Canadian history and was going to lose a landslide. And then
they replaced him with with Carney who had, for all intents of purposes, been his handler
from the Bank of England. This is a, this is a globalist who does not live in Canada,
has, you know, sent to run the country by his British masters.
And, you know, when they, when they swapped him in, Trump jumped in right at that perfect timing
to say that he wanted to make Canada the 51st state.
And that's something that, you know, I don't think there's really much of any appetite for in
Alberta or Canada.
I don't think we want to be Americans.
I personally have no interest in being an American.
I don't want to have any relationship with the IRS for my entire life.
and, you know, Carney was able to jump on that.
He was able to use the fact that, like, like Carla mentioned,
like Trump is broadly distasteful to Canadians.
Like, we don't like him as a person.
And, you know, Carney was just able to slide in there and be like,
I'm the anti-Trump.
I'm tough.
I can actually deal with this guy.
And he was able to fool enough people.
And now we're seeing the truth, which is that the reason that Trump picked Carney
is because he didn't want.
a complicated ally to argue with, which is what he would have had in the alternative Pierre
Poliev, who would have been aligned with him on a lot of things and would have been a very
difficult fight to pick. But now he's got an enemy that he can beat every time with ease.
And so every time there's a Canadian U.S. trade delegation, like we just had one last, like this
week where Carney walked away from the table. And now BC, Ontario and Quebec are facing
massive tariffs to some of their biggest industries.
And we come to find out that it was over French packaging was the thing that they
wouldn't budge on.
The Canadians would not stop putting French on our products for export.
Okay.
And so we run in these.
There were a few other things, but not enough to break that deal at a time where
people's livelihoods are at risk.
And what Dave's saying about Trump pick Carney, I go back and forth.
on this. Carney was
selected by the globalist.
He's a technocrat. He hasn't even lived
in Canada for 10 years. They just
parachuted him in. His family doesn't live
in Canada. I don't
think he cares about the Canadian people.
They definitely have
collaborations and connections through
finance and the business world. There's lots
of suspicious ties there.
So I go back and forth on this.
However, what
seems to be clear in my mind
is this globalist agenda.
When we talk about saving the West
or preserving the West,
the only Western country, really,
that's standing against this is America.
What I think is Karnie has been brought in
to separate us from the United States,
to break that relationship.
The United States is the only country left
that's really, really fighting against this,
and they don't want Canada tied.
So we see Mark Carney making ridiculous claims,
like we're going to be part of the EU,
or we're going to be partners and best friends with China instead of the U.S.
I think that that's his job.
I think he's here to not Canada down a few pegs,
keep us as a middle power, not as a powerful country,
separate us from the United States, tear us apart,
and have us more part of this globalist agenda.
And I don't think Trump's having any of that.

Ever find yourself needing cash but refusing to sell your Bitcoin?
That's real life for many Bitcoiners.
Because most Bitcoin sells aren't financial decisions.
They're liquidity decisions.
And that's exactly what Leden solves.
Leden is the global leader in Bitcoin-backed lending.
They've issued over $10 billion in loans since 2018 with a
perfect track record for protecting client assets. Here's what makes Leiden different. With their
custodied loans, your Bitcoin collateral is not lent out to generate interest, no credit checks,
no monthly payments, and no penalties for early repayments. You apply in minutes and you repay whenever
you want. Leiden also publishes proof of reserves reports every six months with full transparency.

I agree. And when I say that Trump picked Kearney, I don't mean to suggest that they're allies.
I think that Trump wanted an enemy. And Carney coming in as the Davos W-E-F plant, very, very
clearly, like you couldn't get a more obvious
W.E.F. Stoge. He was the
governor of the Bank of England.
And, you know, Trump
picked him, I think, because he was like,
this is just, you know, he's a
fight that I can win every day.
And so anytime Trump needs a political win, he just
wins a fight with Canada and
moves on. And meanwhile,
you know, Carney is accomplishing
the goal that he was sent here to do,
which is to separate Canadians
from Americans, you know, I was, uh,
I just did a little road trip to Montana.
And it's been a little while since I've been down there,
but it used to be that it was full of Canadians.
And now between the dollar being shit
and all of the anti-American rhetoric,
like there was barely any Canadians down there.
Interesting.
I find it interesting that you think that Trump has that power
to actually pick his enemy.
Well,
his actions definitely swam himself is being played by a handler.
I mean, I don't think Trump has,
the actual power that people attribute to him.
I think that, you know, he's definitely a messenger of the financial powers and sometimes
the military powers.
I do not think that he has the power to choose.
But I get it.
It's an interesting interpretation.
I definitely understand what you mean that Carney is now serving a role and a purpose
in separating Canada from powerful allies.
I just wonder what block Canada can stick to if not to the United States.
You know, if we are going into a multipolar world, which some people are, you know, talking about,
how can Canada be in a BRICS block or an EU block?
It just doesn't make any sense.
Geography is real.
Right.
It's insanity.
But he still makes it.
those suggestions?
To be honest, if, like, Iran was our bordering nation.
Right.
We would be trading with them and you'd have to, like, be partnering with them.
It doesn't matter, like, who they are.
But luckily for us, they do share Western values.
They are very similar to us.
It is a very powerful country that we should absolutely have our relationship with.
But Canadians are being pushed by the media and our politicians to be so emotional about this issue.
that they're actually jumping on board with this idea.
Yeah, we need to sever this relationship,
even though Trump is a very temporary problem.
You're going to do lifelong damage to the country.
It could last a century.
Who knows how long this damage is going to last
for the very, very temporary problem with Donald Trump.
Wow.
Okay.
What is one of the most significant recent developments in Canada
that people should be informed about?
And what does it signal?
I mean, we've got a full court press from the globalists right now.
They're coming at us with censorship bills.
They, you know, in the guise of protecting the kids, as always.
Right. That is happening in Canada too. Right.
Yeah, there is always coming after free speech and independent media.
You know, the idea that a year from now we would be imprisoned for this podcast is not far-fetched.
You know, their evil really knows no bounds.
and the the playbook is out there.
Like they've put all this stuff out there, right?
It's the globalist playbook of you'll own nothing and you'll be happy.
And they're moving us in that direction towards, you know,
central bank digital currencies, social credit scores.
And really just at the end of the day,
they want the hand of the government to reach further and further into your life
and control more of what's going on.
And that's kind of the rub right now is whether enough people will be fooled by that.
to allow them to do that. And if we if we circle back to the previous conversation about the
block that Canada is going to be in, I don't think Canada is going to be in a block. I don't think
Canada is going to exist. And I don't think that Alberta will be in the same block as Ontario or
Quebec for that matter. I think that there's a very real chance that in the scenario that I hope
plays out where Alberta separates and we become a bastion of freedom. We would undoubtedly be
aligned with the American block that shares those values. And the provinces of Quebec and Ontario
may be too far gone to salvage at this point.
And between the brain dead boomers protecting their real estate investments and the
flood of incompatible immigrants, there's not a lot of a voter base that is actually
crying for freedom.
And I don't think that those provinces are going to wake up until we turn off the taps.
Because right now, their incentives are aligned with the status quo because it involves
a mass amount of money sent from Alberta to these provinces to pay for all of their
entitlements. And until we turn that off, that pain is not going to reach those people. And,
you know, I have a little bit of hope with the new Trump tariffs that are going after specifically
industries in those provinces that maybe it'll wake a few more people up. But, you know, I think
Canada itself is just a vastly lost cause that will end up in multiple political blocks.
Yeah, I echo the fears around the media that's very real and it's not being hyperbolic,
say that we could be in prison. You're seeing them weaponized lawfare. And, you know, when Canadians
are just crying for affordable food and housing, they keep creating more and more censorship bills,
things that no one is actually asking for. The one thing that keeps me up at night,
the one thing that I think could flip this country overnight is the mass immigration. You know,
we had a prized immigration system that everybody looked up to us to. With the liberals blowing the
door wide open on mass immigration with Carney's friends pushing things like the Century Initiative
where they want 100 million immigrants coming into Canada. And I always have to say the caveat,
obviously I'm for immigration and balanced amounts. Immigration can flip a country overnight,
especially if you're not vetting people for a cultural fit, just the sheer amount of people
overnight. You know, we're watching that in Europe. Overnight, Europe completely changed. And with Mark
Kearning wanting us to be more like the EU, that is a huge fear of mine that they're going to
continue to push this. And that does not work because of infrastructure. It doesn't work because
of the cultural fit in a lot of places. And, you know, Canadians love prizing themselves on being
multicultural. Multiculturalism can only exist with very small amounts of immigration. You can't
bring hundreds of millions of people into the country and think that all these cultures will mix.
We're seeing that with things like
Dearborn Michigan where now the entire
town is Muslim
and they are banning the pride flag
and they are doing calls to prayer five times a day.
That doesn't fit with a liberal progressive
society and people will get
very upset about that but that's just
reality.
It's one of my favorite examples of the double think
that's required to
be a leftist for the long term.
You know, like the Queers for Palestine
Movement where it's like you would
murdered in Palestine. Yeah. I know. They don't know that. It's a really funny phenomenon where
if you start paying attention to it, you'll find it all the time in leftist belief where they're
required to be able to hold two opposing viewpoints in their in their mind at the same time
while believing that they're both true. And you really can't get through much of leftist
political ideology without running into that almost immediately. So that's one of the best
ones. But yeah, the immigration is really interesting. Back to the Montana trip that I did there,
you know, Montana is a lot like Alberta used to be in a lot of ways, but it doesn't have that
multiculturalism. The, the version of Canada that I grew up in was multicultural. And we had a lot of
immigrants coming in who wanted to join our society, who saw our high trust society and were like,
you know what, those are the kind of values that I want. And they moved here and,
brought their cultures with them and joined our culture.
And that's why we have some of the best food in the world.
You know, we have all, every ethnicity, like you can find it for not that big of a city
where I'm in Calgary, we have everything.
We have every ethnicity of food and it's great.
And that's an example of the way that immigrants enriched our society.
But, you know, we've gotten to the point where like there hasn't been an immigrant that
enriches our society led into the country in many years, it feels like.
Well, because it's not about race. It's not about ethnicity. I don't care about race someone is. It's all about cultural values. And then it's framed as racism. If you say that these cultural values do not mix with Western values, then it's pegged as racism. But no, like the reason immigration worked before is because people were moving in and you're saying you want to be a Canadian. You want to adapt to our cultural values, which is so,
obvious. Like if I move to the Middle East, I'm going to have to start covering up. I'm going to have
to look more modest. I'm not going to go in there and demand that people start speaking my
language and adopting Christianity. Obviously not. But somehow in the West, we're like, come and just
walk all over us. No problem. Yeah. And it's a deliberate attack. Like it's gone so far that it's
cross the line. This is one of the biggest problems that you run into with governments like ours is
you can't always separate malice from incompetence. And in this case, I'm quite certain that it is
malice, that these people are being brought in here en masse to create a voter base for the leftists
and to destabilize our society. Yeah. And I think for some reason, Canada was kind of picked
to go first with the implementation of a lot of those globalist agendas.
I mean, Australia is very similar, but Australia now has an election coming up soon,
and you're seeing some of those, I don't know if you're following what's happening in Australia,
but one nation party is quite populist, nationalist.
So it's a little bit similar to what happened in the US.
and in some other countries in Europe that we're trying to protect themselves.
In Canada, you still have time until you have elections again, right?
So it's like they've started with Carney kind of earlier than other places to roll out some of those globalist agendas.
And to me, just like observing it from the outside, it kind of feels like Canada was chosen to show the world.
what agenda 2030 is all about it, where we're taking the world, the West right now,
specifically the West, because as you said, Carla, like, you know, Canada was definitely
the lighthouse of, you know, the Western Society for Immigration.
And, you know, in Israel, for example, where I come from, people wanted to relocate to Canada.
It was like, you know, the Holy Grail of Western countries.
you have such convenient life and everyone's nice
and you have so much space and all that stuff.
But all of that is so quickly being ruined.
So it almost feels like this is, you know,
controlled demolition, like a sabotage.
And I was looking at the density.
You guys have four people per square kilometers of land.
So it's like the least dense place in the world,
more or less in terms of population and where you actually meet your neighbor.
And why I'm searching that is because I'm thinking about technocracy.
You know, if they're rolling out Agenda 2030 so quickly,
they must be also putting together all the surveillance, you know,
digital prison kind of systems.
Are you guys feeling that since you're so sparse and so, you know,
you're not dense at all, you have all that space?
Do you feel it with transportation?
Do you feel it with cameras?
Like, are you seeing any signs of technocracy creeping in?
Because that's part of the agenda too.
Or is it harder because of so much space?
It's harder because of too much space.
And when we initially heard about these ideas,
like I thought, like, how is that even possible?
How is it possible that this, like, globalist body can control the world?
And then you understand that they just get people
at every single level of government.
So I'm actually currently running for city councillor,
as painful as that will be.
Wow.
I understand how the globalist and how this agenda,
how the UN infiltrates the municipalities.
So they hit every single tiny city.
And it'll start with like digital IDs, the cameras,
different data centers.
There's different policies that they implement,
all it just trickles all the way down.
They bring in these higher ups to do big presentations to the province, to the muni.
They get their people on board just convincing these small little towns that it's a good idea
that everybody's doing it, that this is the framework, they start the brainwashing.
And it starts with ideas, right?
It starts with media.
It starts with these trainings.
But when you realize they have people everywhere implementing right think.
and it's everywhere.
It's interesting you mentioned the elections.
I think there's a good chance we never have another election in Canada.
And if we do, it's certainly not going to be even as fair and free as the previous ones.
All of this censorship that is coming in will not allow for any kind of freedom of discussion.
We're already in a spot where, you know, there's this asymmetry.
We do have independent media in Canada, but there's this vast asymmetry where, you know,
the funding goes to the big guys.
and surprise, surprise, they always end up on side with the government.
You know, it's just people following their incentives.
Right.
I think we're kind of in a unique spot, though,
where I don't think they're going to be able to crack down on us as hard as they want to.
And the distance is one thing, but I think there's this, like I brought up before,
this kind of unique incompetence in our government that will lead with their own greed.
And so, you know, instead of installing flock cameras, what we'll see is we'll see a, you know, multi-100 million dollar program to fund cameras that never get installed because some government program, some government official sends the funds to a contractor in the Ukraine.
Yep.
And they're never seen again.
visioning exercises. There'll be lots of courts, lots of think tanks, lots of consultants.
You're right. And then it'll actually just never get done.
Yeah. Okay, great. Well, that would be a positive outcome.
So we can think incompetence for that. Actually, thank you, Dave. That makes me feel really good today,
especially as I dive into all those bureaucratic papers and red tape. You're right. Nothing does get done.
Yeah. Have fun with those people.
Okay, Dave, where does the Alberta independence path stand right now?
Do you think it's moving in the direction you wanted to move?
It is.
It's polling in the 30-something percent.
Polls are always lying in the other direction, so I think it's higher than that.
But I think we need to wake up more people before we're going to actually win this thing in a convincing way.
the referendum we have scheduled in October is not a real referendum on independence.
This is right back to the government incompetence thing.
It's a referendum on a referendum.
So we are deciding whether we should decide.
And once we've decided whether we should decide, then we can decide.
And hopefully that will lead us to a point where we've woken up enough people.
And so realistically, we're probably like a year and a half at best away from a real independence referendum.
And that's a lot of rope for this government.
That's a lot of time for them to do some crazy shit that will wake up more people.
And meanwhile, they're trying to, you know, cozy up to Alberta as much as they can with promises of pipelines and, you know, infrastructure spending and just stuff that, you know, they could have done 15 years ago that we know will not happen.
Right.
So they're going to do everything that they can to try to keep Albertans feeling like Canadians.
one thing I noticed at the stampede this year, the Calgary Stampede, I was at the rodeo,
and they made a bigger production out of the national anthem this year than I've ever seen.
They had a helicopter flying by with a giant flag and just a massive deal.
And so I think they're trying everything that they can think of like that,
but at the same time, they are so vastly incompetent that they can't see the lines that they're
crossing every day.
And when they pass things like these censorship bills, they're just going to wake
bunch of people up. And they really just don't know where any of those lines are. And so they're,
they're very bad at picking their positions on hot button things like parental rights and trans,
influence in schools. And, you know, they're going to make a bunch of stupid mistakes between now and
then. And the question is like, are those mistakes big enough and absurd enough that it wakes up
enough people that gets us out from under this thumb? Both you guys said to me in separate times,
that you're staying and fighting, this is your home and, you know, this is, this is the right thing
for you. Many people in the comments to both of your episodes were debating that question. Like,
when do you leave? When do you stay? Is there like a boiling point where you're like, I can't take it
anymore? This is like, that's my red line. And if I cross that, I'm leaving the country. And I think a lot of
people from a lot of different Western countries are facing the same kind of dilemma these days.
And we're seeing in a lot of, you know, countries that we hang out sometimes because of the Bitcoin
conferences and stuff. There are so many expats from Canada, people that are saying enough and are
leaving. So what is that point for you guys? Is there such a point? And it's, you know, what kind of
tips can you give people that are looking, are in that dilemma right now, when do I leave or
do I stay? I know it's a very individual question, but what are your insights to that?

For me, I mean, I'm not going to go to prison for my podcast. So if that pressure starts to mount, then, you know, either I'm shutting down the show or moving. It would be really hard to get my husband out of here. I guess that would be my land line in the sand. However, this is a globalist agenda. The safe utopia, it doesn't exist. This is happening in every single country in the world. Governments change. You know, right now, Hungary and Poland,
doing a pretty good job of standing against it. Panama's doing a really great job.
Governments change. This is going to be a continual war forever. So it just really matters,
like, what do you as an individual need? Some people have chosen to stay in China, and they've
decided, I'm willing to live with this. There's going to be problems no matter where you go.
There's no such thing as a perfect place. So some people want to pay no taxes. Some people want to be
able to grow fruit trees. We hunt and fish and have like all our food here and are like very,
very rural. So that all that stuff is just going to be very unique to the individual. But I'm all
for having a plan B. I think that's really smart. I think that's good adulting. But I think we're
fooling ourselves to think that this island of security exists somewhere else in the world. It doesn't.
Yeah, I absolutely agree with that. I think it would take quite a bit for to get me to leave. And
partly because of the fact that, you know, I've, I've lived my whole life here. I have my whole
network here. All of my resources are here. And I am much better situated and positioned to deal
with the insanity perpetrated by the local government here than I would be if I went to Costa Rica
and didn't know the lay of the land and didn't have friends or resources. And on top of that,
like I mentioned, we do have this incredibly stupid political class that is a benefit and allows
a weird kind of freedom in Canada where you can
kind of fly under the radar because they're just too stupid to be able to do anything about it.
And I expect that to fully continue. And so for me, it would have to be like immediate threat
to my person or my family that would make me want to leave. Otherwise, like, this is our place
and they can't fucking have it. Awesome. All right. Let's talk a little bit about entrepreneurship.
You guys are both really good at that. You're both running various projects.
and started off different businesses.
What's the one skill and the one tool
and or the one tool that every sovereign individual
needs to master right now,
wherever they live?
Resilience.
I mean, in marketing, you know,
the market's always changing.
It's always changing.
Like, you have a way and it works perfect for a while
and then all of a sudden everything changes.
Like right now I've been talking about how social media is,
temporary. They want to move us to
put a glasses. So even
everyone that's investing solely on social
media, I'm like, there's a good chance that that's
going to change when everybody's in their
little glasses and there's no scrolling anymore.
So everything's always
changing and you just have to be
willing to take some beatings, unfortunately.
And at some point, what you're doing
might need to change. Are you willing to
build it again? You know, I
lost my dream business during COVID.
I rebuilt my marketing company.
online had to start fresh. And lately I've just been pivoting all into the media world.
That's your greatest asset. Be able to take an ass kicking and just tell yourself,
no matter what happens, like, I could do it again. I can build it again. I can figure out
the new solution. That's what will get you through all of this.
100%. Yeah. Yeah, Dave. I agree with that. I would expand on that a little bit and call it
optionality is what I prioritize. Like, I could move to Costa Rica right now.
I have that option.
You know, I don't know if I'll always be able to have that option.
There could come a time when I don't have the option to leave the country.
But that's what I would want to prioritize is the ability to make a bunch of different choices
and respond to whatever the insanity of these people throws in my path.
And that I have a pretty high degree of confidence that with that optionality and, you know,
the network and friends and family that I have built here that I'm going to be able to
to maintain a pretty free life here in Alberta, regardless of what the globalists attempt to do,
because they're, like, they're going to be writing tickets to pine trees and stuff like that.
I don't really expect a useful crackdown on my freedoms from those people at this point.
So you're saying treat optionality as a skill you have to develop.
Like you have to learn how to create several options for yourself.
that's not something.
Optionality is a skill, but also as a,
as a plan.
You know what I mean?
If you have,
you know,
it's good to have a plan B,
but the ideal situation is that you have 15 plans that you could all
pivot to if you,
you know,
if you decide that you need to do that.
But a lot of that is not necessarily about coming up with the plans and,
you know,
lining the details up.
It's more about putting yourself in a situation where,
you know,
the rest of your life,
life supports that optionality and you can do a variety of things.
So that's where a lot of Canadians are stuck right now is because they work for the government.
That really provides you very little optionality in terms of both your political views and the
outcome for your career.
And let's add another layer of complication to the stiffness and rigidness, which is AI.
And if most people are not putting their foot in the,
in the pond of AI at all,
they're going to find themselves quite, you know,
unable to flex the muscles and rediscover,
recreate themselves and get better at what they do.
So they may be even a greater danger of losing their livelihood or their job.
How do you guys treat AI?
I know you have a project with it, Dave, now.
And I'd love to hear more about it.
And Carla, you integrate.
I know, you know, one of the things I love the most about what you do is that you tell people when it comes to marketing and social media is like, do ugly content.
Like, just be you. Just put yourself out there. So I'm really curious to hear about your take on AI and to use it at all in your work.
I do use it. But my opinion on it has shifted drastically. It was really exciting at first. And I loved using it. And I was using it for Mark.
and I could see all the things that I could build and I was using it for script writing.
And then the more I used it, just the more unhappy I was, the more, like, I just started to become
dumber. My brain was not functioning. Even while like, and I knew that going in. So I was trying
to protect myself. I was still writing a ton myself and trying to do these other things.
The more I use it, the more I hate it. The, the, the, even with it being able to speak,
everything up. The more it makes me want to speed things up, the more I actually want to slow down.
And this is very recent. I'm, I still use it as a tool, but I use it very, very little.
And I think the world's actually going to split. It's going to go high tech and super analog.
So I'm kind of balancing like in between right now, but it just, I'm not against it. And some
people are maybe better off, better suited to use it. But even like my children,
for example, I'm not telling them go into an AI tech career. We're getting them into trades. Both of my
little girls are working for their dad doing carpentry right now. One's going to become a tattoo artist.
I'm like, do things that AI can't replace. Use your hands because most people are becoming really
useless and really dumb right now. So you can either be at the top of the AI echelon or you can know
how to build a house and hunt and do these things that most people in society can't do anymore. Then you'll be
super valuable that way.
My son wants to be a chef or a sous chef.
So he's studying, yeah, how to work in a restaurant.
He's 17 years old.
And yeah, working with his hands, cooking.
Wow.
Yeah.
I think we're going to see a big split where, you know,
AI is just a tool like any other tool.
And if you don't use it, you could be the guy driving a horse and carriage while
everyone else has got a car.
So you need to make use.
of the tools that are at hand, but it definitely has this pitfall where it can really just,
like, smooth out your brain. And it invites you to delegate your thinking to it. And if you do
that, then, you know, you're not going to get anywhere. So I think there's going to be this massive
split between a large group of people who are using AI to generate essentially slop that
is consumable, but soulless and relatively empty. And then on the flip side, you'll have like the
analog side, I think it's going to put a premium on the human. And being able to create any form of
art, whether it's dialogue like this or physical, musical art, whatever it may be, in a way that
captures the humanity, which is what we really prize in those things, I think is going to come
at a massive premium. And then the flip side of it is going to be just like, what do we need
Taylor Swift for when we can have 17 robot Taylor Swift's?
I'm already seeing the resistance.
I love that substack is drawing a line with their platform.
And now they have those buttons where you can read something and immediately press a button
and it'll tell you if a robot made it or a person made it.
I love that it's drawing a line in the sand.
Because again, at first it was like, great.
It can help me make all this content really fast.
That was awesome when only I thought I had that tool.
When everybody was using it, you're like, ew, gross.
I don't want to read a bunch of AI content.
This is garbage.
Yeah, I'll have my AI review that.
Yeah.
And you can avoid the brain effects.
I don't know about you guys, but like even prompting it lately, I'm like,
Carla, can you even spell a word?
Like, you sound like a cave mat talking to your AI.
Like, enough.
I can't do that.
I'm always dictating to it.
Yeah.
Dave, what's the project about?
Can you share?
Not, not fully, but.
Essentially, I'm making a number of knowledge bases.
So the main thing that AI can do is gather and categorize information.
And so if you're asking it to reason and deduce things, it's going to make mistakes.
And you can get it to do that if you check it.
But where it's really accurate is when you just get it to say, hey, I would like a bunch of sourced information.
And it'd say, here's 50,000 sources, source all of them.
and let's create something that can aggregate all of this info in a way that's usable to both the AI and to people.
And I think, you know, I'm obviously doing this in the world of Bitcoin.
I think people are going to be doing this in every facet, in every industry.
And, you know, that vast wealth of human information that has been kind of a skill to pull out of Google,
if you need to figure something out, is just going to be at everyone's fingertips at all times in the very near future.
Hopefully that's a good thing.
The truth should be the best disinfectant and shining light on everything that's happening in the world.
And sourcing all of that stuff, I think will have a positive impact on the world.
So that's kind of where I'm going.
I hear that.
There's one big issue with that is now a lot of websites and organizations are blocking AI from skimming their website.
So now the AIs are sourcing things from other AIs.
and it's kind of like the telephone game, right?
It's getting like less and less accurate.
So that's something to watch out for too.
Yeah, exactly.
I've had to kind of like,
that's been kind of an evolving battle,
the scrapers versus the antiscripers.
And the scrapers are consistently ahead.
I don't think you can stop AI from scraping your website ultimately.
And so the way that I'm approaching it is that everything needs to be sourced,
needs to be just directly sourced so that any claim made about anything,
can be linked back to where that claim came from.
And then that way you're not making claims of your own.
You're not adding any information.
You're not asking your AI, most importantly, to add any information.
You're just saying, hey, this is what's out there.
You know, these are a bunch of quotes.
These are things that people said.
This is what they believed when they said those things.
And, you know, take it for what you will.
Interesting.
Speaking of that, I just released an episode with Dr. Jessica Rose about the, you know,
she's been analyzing the various database for the damages of the COVID-19 vaccine.
And no AI model wanted to work with that content, not for me, for my editor,
because they're working with AI.
They're like, nope, outright no.
We're not touching that content.
And they had to go to open source.
I think Kimmy was the one they used because of the guardrails.
They won't touch certain types of data.
And when you say the truth, speaking of shining light on the truth, it's too much for those people who have to protect the lies, you know?
And AI is a tool for them.
It's another weapon, 100% another weapon, especially with what we're seeing, legislating for AI in the United States with Anthropic and Open AI.
This is just another weapon for the United States.
All right.
So speaking of shining light on truths, I want to end with like,
probing you guys to share what your, what is your mission? Why do you care? What are your values? What is
the meaning of your work for you? I've been a Bitcoin evangelist for a very long time.
There's a self-interested angle in that. I think I will be better off if everyone adopts Bitcoin.
I think everyone else will be better off if everyone adopts Bitcoin. I really, and this is, if anybody
will be better off because you'll be rich or why?
Well,
you know,
if yes,
the more people adopt it,
the better it will go for people who already owned it.
But the bigger impact,
I think,
comes down to the incentives.
And if anybody wants to watch when I was on,
on Carla's show,
we did this bit that I often do called
Bitcoin fixes everything.
That is obviously a meme in our space.
And I did this,
I've done this at a,
couple conferences where I just get people to throw out problems with the world and then I can explain
to you how Bitcoin will fix them. And, you know, it's pretty ubiquitous that if somebody comes up
with a structural problem of like, this is not right. I don't think the world should be like this,
that you can take a couple steps back and trace the incentives and figure out that really the
problem is that whatever the scenario is, whatever the problem, it's usually just misaligned
incentives with someone in the chain. And most of those misaligned incentives, and most of those misaligned
incentives come back to the fact that money is perverted and can be printed for free.
And so when you remove all of those perverted incentives that the free money puts into the system,
you know, it solves a lot of problems.
People still can make mistakes, but we're in a scenario now where people are following their
rational incentives to bad outcomes for themselves, for others, and for society as a whole.
And those irrational incentives are only there because of that free money.
So that's my mission.
I want to rid the world of free money and return to a world of rational capitalism in a high trust society governed by a very light touch government that maintains the rule of law and protects our physical safety and property rights and basically nothing else.
Mm-hmm.
Interesting.
And I appreciate your honesty with saying that, yep, you want to be rich.
Most people would answer no to that question, I think.
Carla, what about you?
I want to preserve the West.
I want to preserve Western values.
I want my children's future to be free and prosperous.
And I want a world that is as good as what it was when we were growing up.
And I see all of that changing.
And it seems like we're stepping into a very dark future.
And I think all of that is a choice and that it can't.
be prevented. I too kind of set aside politics for a while and I was like, I just moved my head
down and make money. And ultimately I ended up stepping away from that. And I'm actually taking
fewer and fewer clients right now as I just go all in on media, all in on municipal politics,
just so I want to know that I'm doing everything I can at the political level, the spiritual level,
the media level. So that when I die one day, I just know I did.
every single thing I could to help fight against this,
even though it's going to be hard and frustrating and big headache.
Wow, kudos to you.
Now I'm learning that you're running for the municipality.
That could be a headache, huh?
Oh, yeah.
It's like the hardest volunteer position you've ever had.
It's a volunteer position?
It might as well be for what you get paid,
but you don't do it for the money.
Oh, Lord.
you really do care about that.
Yeah.
It's not.
It's just like that's just...
No, I get it.
We're all parents, you know.
We all have children.
I totally get why you want your home, your home country, your city to be a better place.
It's just I don't want to bring anyone down, but just like looking at what's happening around the world, it just sometimes it's so depressing to see where things are going.
And the only places or times where I really find motivation and hope again is when I'm surrounded by like-minded people that want to build and see, you know, that see the future, that see that we can have a better future, that we can build something that is better based, whether it's based on the, you know, the better monetary system or just other, many other sovereignty.
layers, but it's just really challenging these days.
This is also why I do the podcast, I think, because people like you, like speaking with
you guys, this is just what gives me hope, I guess.
I think I, like, I've done the money thing.
I'm by no means rich, but I've gotten to where, like, I need to be.
It stresses me out to think about the big problems that I actually cannot, I can't stop
globalism.
I can't preserve the West.
even though I just said that.
But I can make little dints on certain things.
I can wake up a handful of people with this podcast.
I can create bylaws in my small city.
Those are things that I can actually do and change on a very small level.
And if we were all doing those tiny little things,
like the whole world would be better place.
And I get why a lot of people right now say that politics don't matter.
I don't believe that.
If that were true, then we wouldn't see things like melee and Bikale.
Like that was one person.
That was, those were politics.
That was policies that completely changed that entire country.
So sometimes it does just take one mad, determined person to flip a country.
It's totally possible.
Yeah.
We've seen that here with our trucker protests where, you know, before those protests happened,
there was this general sentiment that everybody's like,
why isn't anyone doing anything about this?
We live in a pretty comfortable society as Canadians.
For the most part, the people who would and could have been standing up
were all still quite comfortable through COVID
and through the various indignities and tyrannies
that they have perpetrated on the population.
It still remains a pretty good place to live.
and it's only recently that a lot more people are starting to be affected by the ravages of socialism.
You know, the inflation, the lawlessness, the unmetered immigration coming and changing our cities.
And it's getting to a point where, you know, there's not really an excuse for doing nothing anymore.
And I think that's the, like, that's what we have to push people on.
We need to get everyone awake and everyone doing at least something, right?
Pick a cause and fix the world around you a little bit.
That's where I think when people really do some spiritual, mental, psychological,
whatever you call it, work, they connect better to themselves.
They understand what their gifts are, what their purpose is,
why they came to this world with the gifts that they've been given,
and how they can fulfill in their potential to the max.
And when they plug into that and they just,
they don't try to be like someone else,
but they try to just be their full potential,
that's when we start seeing a bigger change
and a bigger collective,
like a collective consciousness kind of change
because we are just like organs of one big body.
right? And we don't have to be the same because if you in your body you have like cells that are in
charge of, I don't know, your hand and other cells for your heart, they're supposed to be different.
They're supposed to like answer different, you know, roles and do whatever they came here to do.
And we are supposed to be different, but best in what we came here to do.
And even if it's small and we can't feel it and we think it doesn't matter,
together, you know, this is one organism that would make a difference.
So, you know, I'll pretend that that is happening and that we, I know it is happening.
I'm joking.
It is happening.
And it's just like those times are really, really challenging.
But, you know, I know good people are out there trying their best.
What else are you going to do?
Stop trying.
Right.
You know, I gave this example once.
I was in my boat and the motor died and it's fall, so no one's around here anymore.
And it's crazy windy and I'm sitting on the bow of the boat and I'm paddling like mad and I'm going nowhere.
And it's like an hour later and I have like tears streaming down my face and so frustrated, nobody's around.
But when I got tired and when I stopped, the boat went even further back.
So there I am, paddling.
and it cooked like probably two hours for me to get to shore.
So it was hard.
It was inefficient.
It felt like I wasn't going anywhere.
But what am I going to do?
Stop paddling.
Eventually I got there.
Just because it's hard, just because it's inefficient,
it doesn't mean that we're not doing something.
And you don't have a choice.
We do not have a choice but to keep paddling right now.
Right.
100%.
Fantastic.
Any last thoughts before we wrap up?
Dave, how do we help Carla get on board to Bitcoin properly?
Like, what's going on?
Any time.
It's your responsibility as a Canadian.
Well, you'll have to, if you make it back to Alberta, I'll get you set up with a wallet.
Okay.
But it's definitely time to start taking.
taking notice. And I think anybody who's out there who is on the sidelines on Bitcoin, who's
in the freedom community, who's in this group of people who've been woken up to the evils of
our globalist overlords should start looking at Bitcoin. A lot of people get into it as either
a get rich quick scheme or as a way to make some money as an investment. But I don't think
that's the way you should look at it. It's not a get rich quick scheme. It's a avoid getting poor
slowly scheme, which is what will happen to you if you have all or most of your money in dollars
or dollar denominated investments and the government keeps printing them. So it's just a rational
self-interested move that will help shelter you from the bad decisions of your government,
but it's also a long-term benefit to society and to the world because this is how we get
them out of power. We stop using their slanted money.
Money printer. Yeah. They're, yeah, they're money printer. And using,
using something that someone else can print for free as money is absurd.
Yeah. And once we get away from that, the benefits to society will be massive.
Once we get everyone's incentives realigned and, and remove the ability for them to tax us
without looking us in the eyes.
Carla, any last thoughts?
I don't think so
I think we covered a lot of good ground today
I do have Bitcoin
I'm just not
I'm just not fully orange-pilled
yet
she's she's peach
she's like yellowish peach
not yet orange
I can't wait to see you again
I'm going to El Salvador soon
are you coming
no I'm not going to El Salvador
I'm going to be there for Bitcoin
and Storico in November
It was funny guy time.
It was amazing. We were there together. It was so much fun.
I miss you.
I miss you too. Maybe I should go. That was fun. That was really fun.
I know. Maybe you should. I'm actually going to stay for like two, three weeks and then going to go to Costa Rica.
Because me, unlike you guys, I'm from the camp that is running away from her country.
I'm not staying in Israel and I'm looking for my new place.
So it may be, I don't know, somewhere in Central America.
We'll see.
I was really encouraged by everything in El Salvador.
And I loved getting to see people like Aaron Murphy and what he's building,
like real on the ground solutions for the post of the score.
That's where I want my attention.
You know, the builders at the local level.
Yeah, 100%.
I love what he does.
Beautiful project.
All right, you guys, you are both awesome.
I love you.
Thank you so much for coming on the show.
I love hanging out and talking to you.
You do give me hope.
Thank you.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Follow Carla on Instagram, X, Substack.
I'll put all the links below.
And Dave on X.
And that's it, right?
Just on X?
Pretty much.
I'm on Instagram,
don't really post anything.
Yeah, but you're a super
celeb now on Facebook
and Instagram because of my
shorts, like
fucking 10,000 likes and
hundreds of thousands of people
just still commenting from when
I put it, like a week ago,
and it's still going and they love you
or they hate you, but they mostly
love you. You must have said something
spicy. Oh, my God.
You go to my Instagram page
and see what he said. It's crazy.
known to say a few spicy things. It's very encouraging because, and like he showed me those demographics,
like it slants really older. Yeah. And obviously Facebook slants older. On Facebook older, on Instagram
younger. Yeah. It's an indication that there's this massive group of people in the middle who are
swung in both directions by the political class. And it is an indication that a large number of those people
the normies are waking up and starting to see the problem.
So hopefully that's what it feels like.
That's why I'm having you both here because of that.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
So thanks again.
Love you guys.
See you soon.
See you.
Thank you.
Take care.
