Starting point is 00:00:00 The ZM Podcast Network. Bree and Clint. Hi everybody, welcome to a summer mini. It's hot. Summer mini. What? A mini in summer? Don't mind if I do. A summer mid.
Starting point is 00:00:15 Because how good's a mid-strength? Oh, beer? Yeah. Oh. God, I love a mid-strength. I've been thinking it's time for me to move to a mid-carb beer. I remember when that happened for my dad. I reckon I'm reaching that stage.
Starting point is 00:00:27 From a high carb or from a low carb? From a regular carb. Oh, yes, sorry, to a low carb. I was so devo when my dad did that because I was in my teenage years. The beers taste worse. And I had to take mid-strengths to parties and it wasn't very fun. Oh, mid-strength. I'm talking about mid-carb, low carb.
Starting point is 00:00:43 Yeah, mid-low carb. Mid-strength, low-carb. That's what my dad drank for a while and they were shit ass. They were so shit. It's like taking the joy out of the thing you're drinking. I take it back. I'm never moving to a low-carb.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Takes the life out of the beer. Yeah, why are you even having it? Anyone that makes them, they're just not makeable. Just drink pure alcohol. Just drink vodka lime soda. What's the message here, guys? No, this is just a teaser. What are we talking about?
Starting point is 00:01:15 I was going to ask. I had a question to ask. When is this going to play? Can you place this in a certain spot? You can choose if you want. Okay. My question I wanted to ask all of you um was because we're coming up to christmas yay what is the most memorable christmas for you christmas day
Starting point is 00:01:35 was it because of a particular gift was it because of something happened what was the most memorable christmas day for you guys i know away, and it seems a bit shallow, but it's the Christmas that Santa got us a motorbike. A motorbike? Best Christmas ever. It wasn't really a motorbike. It was a secondhand 50cc scooter. But to us, it was a bike with a motor, and it was sick.
Starting point is 00:02:00 And we were like, I think I was 12, and my brother was 10, and my other brother was 8. And it was ours. It was our motorbike. And Dad had motorbikes, but we didn't. I think I was 12 and my brother was 10 and my other brother was 8. And it was ours. It was our motorbike. And Dad had motorbikes, but we didn't. And now this was ours. And it was sick. You couldn't even kill this thing.
Starting point is 00:02:11 I ripped the number plate and the taillight off it the day we got it. Didn't matter. Didn't matter. Still would go. Yeah. Yeah. And I remember that Christmas vividly. And my whole family was there and that was a part of it as well.
Starting point is 00:02:23 But the main thing was we got a motorbike yeah see isn't it funny how every i guarantee everyone has oh fuck can i go again sorry can i go again my daughter's first christmas boring got it boring um that's a she got a motorbike and that's all and that's also a shit christmas when they're like just a lump like because they're not they don't know what christ, as a parent, I can attest to the fact that Christmas gets more fun. That's what I mean. But when they're younger, it's like nothing because they don't know what's going on. It's all about you at that stage because you want to do something nice, but they don't know. What about producers?
Starting point is 00:02:57 What's your most memorable Christmas and why? This one time when I was a kid, I probably would have been like eight. We couldn't find the Christmas presents that Santa brought for us. Okay. We couldn't find them. What? The morning of Christmas? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:11 And it's not because I was bad or anything. We just couldn't find them until we started making breakfast and I found them in the fridge. You found them in the fridge? Yeah, Santa left my poetry book in the fridge. Did he? Not sure why. Did he forget? Maybe Santa left my poetry book in the fridge. Did he? Not sure why. Did he forget? Maybe Santa was getting a mid-streak.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Maybe Santa was drunk. Maybe Santa was getting a low-carb beverage. Yeah, could have been. Didn't need to put it down there. He does love those low-carb beers. It was really weird, though. So your favourite Christmas is the one where you received a poetry book? Oh, just my most memorable one.
Starting point is 00:03:41 My Christmases are pretty standard. You wake up and you get pancakes in the morning. You do presents. Chris, this is what i have learned and this is what i'm hoping to establish now that i have a family of my own it's the it's the it's the traditions it's the routine so you remember pancakes every day you talk a lot about your christmas lasagna my dad on christmas morning because my dad does not cook in our family, every Christmas morning after we've opened presents, my dad will cook up the best full breakfast fry up you've ever seen in your life. I love that. That's our tradition.
Starting point is 00:04:16 He always cooks on Easter Sunday and Christmas morning. I could get into that. Cooking twice a year for my family, I could get into that. What about you, Producer Ella? What's your most memorable Christmas? I mean, you you're still living at home. Brie was about to say, you haven't had that many.
Starting point is 00:04:33 I was waiting for it. One of them would be when I was like an early, early memory. I was a little kid and I wanted baby alive. It's this doll. And I got it and I could feed it and it would poop. I remember those. Ours were called baby borns.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Yeah. When I was young. Yeah. I loved it. I got a James Charles palette that I was very excited about. Excited about one year? Well, new. But yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:00 No, just the same traditions. Although mine were a bit different. We wake up, present, go to church, which was long. What time do you guys wake up on Christmas morning? It gets later each year. When we were kids, it was like 5.30 in the morning. My poor parents. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:15 We get pretty drunk the night before these days. Yeah, now I'm keen for a sleep in. Yeah. Wait, Britt, you haven't said yours. Oh, mine? Yeah. Oh, this is easy. This is why I asked the question because I was thinking about it.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Most memorable Christmas for me is we woke up and I would have been 10, so my brother would have been about 7, my sister would have been about 12, and we woke up and there was presents under the tree, but then there was a piece of string attached to the front door and it was a note and it said to follow the string. And so we followed this string and obviously I grew up on a farm so it went up around this back shed and then down into this grass and then up through this other what we called the big shed,
Starting point is 00:06:02 up through the big shed and wild goose chase and went for ages and ages. And finally we were like, you know, going along this string and we come around the corner and all I remember seeing is the string was attached to I think it was like a 1972 yellow Toyota Corolla. Oh, yo. And I have just lost my mind and my dad comes out and he goes, guys, this is the car you're going to learn how to drive.
Starting point is 00:06:37 Oh. And all day, all of us learn how to drive manual, stick with my dad in that car. So cute. And it was the coolest day ever because each individual, like all of us, we got a turn with my dad and we learned how to drive, including my brother who couldn't reach the accelerator, but that didn't matter.
Starting point is 00:07:00 He would dive under and then change a gear and then pop back up and just swerve whatever was in front of him. Including Bree's mum who had had two bottles of Prosecco. Yeah. She got a lesson. Yeah, she did. No, that was probably, yeah, the most memorable. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Yeah. Oh, wholesome, guys. It was a good Christmas. I love talking about stuff like that. Me too. This has brought us closer. Because it's real nice because it takes you back to like a really good memory that you have. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:28 Yeah. Never got a motorbike though. Hey, you're not dead yet. You can buy one yourself there. Whoever got me for Secret Santa. Motorbike. A little motorbike. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:38 Oh, yeah. By the way, who got me for Secret Santa? Clint? Whoever got you for Secret Santa might be listening. Why? Well, I would love a dog. I saw this. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:07:47 I really want a dog. Shoot for the stars. You've got too many animals. You can look after one of mine for the holidays. Okay. I love dogs. Okay, and that's from me. No, that doesn't count.
Starting point is 00:08:00 Look me up to Bree's dog, that's from me. Clint? Merry Christmas, if it hasn't already been Christmas yet. We don't know, we're on holiday. I me. Clint. Merry Christmas, if it hasn't already been Christmas yet. Wait, no, we're on holiday. Woo! I'm coming in. Merry Christmas, everyone. Play ZM's Brand Clint.
