Starting point is 00:00:00 For a few years, in the 1970s, the Mr Asia syndicate made millions. Heroin creates its own market. It acts like a form of play. Until jealousy, betrayal and murder brought it all crashing down. Then he just pulled out a gun, shot her in the back of the head, and then said to Wayne, you're going to help me bury her. This is Mr Asia, A Forgotten History. All episodes now available on iHeartRadio, Apple, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts
Starting point is 00:00:29 The ZM Podcast Network Hi everybody, welcome to the Brianne Clint After Party Podcast For a Friday For a Friday For a Friday We had two beers at the pub today After Party podcast. For a Friday. For a Friday. For a Friday. We had two beers at the pub today. Yeah, it was Claudia's birthday. Yeah, we. It was celebrated.
Starting point is 00:00:52 Oh, Claudia had two as well. Yeah, man. I should have just had one. Guys, I've just remembered I have to go out after work tonight. I was like ready to go home and I have two events to go to. Two? Two. Well, I was going out after work and I was quite excited about it and the person I was going out with has just pulled out on me.
Starting point is 00:01:09 Mother fluffer. And what time were you meant to meet up? In 20 minutes. Oh, that's – I would be – I'd be fuming. It's fine. I think they got the message. No, I think they did because I was sitting here when you gave it to them. I was looking the other direction.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Now it's off-wind. This is off-wind. Fair enough though, can I say. And Men's Health Week of all weeks. Of all weeks to do it. One of the main issues with men's health is loneliness and not showing up for your friends. The audacity.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Anyway, I'm not worried about it. You know that is the second time that that person has done that to you? Because I remember the last time. Don't go into that. Don't go into that. You'll sit them off. No, but I just remember the last time it happened, and I thought, that's a bit stink buzz.
Starting point is 00:01:54 It's fine. It doesn't matter. It's just how late it is. I am someone, as I've gotten older, I take real, like, a lot of pride in the fact that if I say I will be somewhere or if I make a plan like i have to be on my deathbed if i'm not coming i like once i commit once i commit i never want to be that person that's known to i agree i just have a question yes i i agree
Starting point is 00:02:18 and i should know how we all stop talking what oh i thought someone someone came in. Although we're freaking broadcasting this thing. Like, someone's going to hear it. Anyway. We're not saying anything bad about it. I'm just saying what I... I just wanted to see my friend. Yeah, exactly. And that's why it stinks.
Starting point is 00:02:34 Yeah, okay. Yeah. I just don't make plans and then I don't have to cancel it. Well, yeah, that's the thing. Bonnie's like, that's your problem. They're like, hey, do you want to do this thing? And I'm like, no. Not really.
Starting point is 00:02:44 No, I want to go home. Do you? I want to ask you a question, though, Brie. Like, that's your problem. I'm like, no. They're like, hey, do you want to do this thing? And I'm like, no. Not really. No. No, I want to go home. Do you? I want to ask you a question, though, Brie. So you make plans. Do you ever feel like you don't want to do it or you get anxious? Because that's what I get. I get a lot of anxiety and then I just have to cancel and then I feel like a shit friend because that is shitty.
Starting point is 00:02:58 100%. What do you do? So I never, ever will commit to something unless I am positive I'll be able to go. You also need to remind yourself that once you're there, you'll have fun. And you know the thing is, is that as you do it more, like if you commit for me, like if I'm like, okay, I've told that person, I've promised them that I'm going to show up or I'm going to do that or whatever. So if it's enough time, I mentally prepare myself for it.
Starting point is 00:03:26 I'm like, you're going, so there's no choice. Oh, that's good. So you have time to prepare yourself that you're going. I'm taking that on board. I just didn't know that hanging out with me was such a chore. I've been waiting for the day for you to invite us to your house. We're coming out with you. We want to see your house.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Oh, no, no, hanging out with you is a chore. to see your house and your cats. Oh, no, no. Hanging out with you is a chore. No, that was a joke. That was a joke. It was an easy joke and I don't mean it. I don't mean it at all. Hurt people hurt people. I'm lashing out, okay?
Starting point is 00:03:54 I'm projecting. It's free to be kind. I'm projecting, yeah. It's free to be kind. I want to see your cat and kids. What are you doing for your birthday tomorrow, Claudia? Probably not a lot, to be honest. I'm not that fussed about it this year.
Starting point is 00:04:03 I think I did my big 3-0 last year. Got the party out of the way i did your big 302 yeah i got so drunk responsibly drunk at your party my favorite part about my party is i also got responsibly drunk but normally when i'm in that situation and it's someone else's event you kind of have to hang around and do what they want to do but because it was my thing I was like I don't want to be in this club anymore it's too loud and I'm too hot and I was like guys I want to leave and everyone was like okay
Starting point is 00:04:33 and we all left and we all watched it you feel so much power whatever I say goes it's my birthday you're all partied out then why what you got planned you're going to invite me to something. Surprise. My partner messaged me before because she's at work as well and she goes, hey
Starting point is 00:04:55 do you want to do anything tonight? And I text back as a joke yeah, let's go get drunk and get on the pizzo. She goes, oh, my God, sounds good. We haven't been out in ages. Text these people. And I went, you can't be serious. I was joking.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Oh, no. She goes, gotcha. Oh, thank God. That's cute. That's so cute. She did. I was like, oh, no. Do you guys want to go to Sushi Train tomorrow? Wait, where's Sushi Train? Downtown. guys want to go To Sushi Train tomorrow? Oh

Starting point is 00:05:46 on the sushi train and then putting them back? And we were all terrified of germs and the story came out about the kid who was picking up bits of sushi, licking them and putting them back on the train? I'm sure it doesn't happen now. I'm sure they've sorted it out. No way, surely. That's disgusting.
Starting point is 00:05:58 Freaks me out. Have you heard of Daikoku? Oh, I love Daikoku. I love Daikoku. Daikoku. You and I went to Daikoku on one of our secret dinners that we had before anybody knew we were starting a show together. Is that on the...
