You know what I've been listening to recently and this will might shock you?
This podcast.
You mean what?
Why would you do that?
Well, it's because I was stuck in traffic the other day and I wanted to listen to the
episode we did while Bri was away when my daughters came into the studio.
So cute. It was so fucking cute away when my daughters came into the studio. So cute.
It was so fucking cute.
Oh, I was crying.
Oh my god.
Um, so that got me into it.
And now whenever I get into my car.
Weird.
No, it just auto loads the next one.
And what are you like, oh, I can't wait to see what happens on this episode.
Yes.
And I think my memory is so bad, either that or I talk so unconsciously on these things,
that the content of them surprises me.
Holy shit.
Like I listen to them and I don't know what I'm going to say next.
Wait, Inception, you could be listening right now.
I could be listening.
Hi Clint.
Hi Clint.
Hi future Clint.
Hi Clint.
Drive safe.
Hey Clint, if you've got time, can you please remember to like and subscribe to this podcast?
It really helps us out and hopefully means we can get paid more Clint
If you're listening to this send us a message in the group chat so we know Clint don't forget to buy stamps
Yeah, and don't forget to thank your wife for dinner Clint remember to love yourself. Okay. Yeah
Look after your true for dinner. Clint, remember to love yourself, okay? Yeah. He already does.
Look after your true.
Okay.
Because if you like the way you look that much,
well, Clinton, you should go and love yourself.
Not in that way.
So sultry.
Anyway, anyway.
Not in that way.
Anyway, can I finish?
Do that on your own time.
Can I finish what I was saying, please?
Don't do it in the car, you can get a rest.
Oh my God.
Wait till you get home, at least pull over.
Hashtag let men speak.
Anyway, so Claudia,
No, it's not, let me finish.
What I was gonna say.
Let me finish, let me finish.
Cause you're ruining what I was about to say.
Oh here we go, this better be good.
You're ruining it.
Better be good.
This podcast, pretty good.
Oh, how good, out of 10.
Really?
And when you say this podcast,
are you talking about the after party or the after?
Oh, I'm not listening to the show one.
Oh, okay.
No, no.
Well, I've spent a lot of time on that.
I'm hashtag after party only.
Listen to my 60 minutes of Brian Clint.
Sorry, so, so, sorry.
I had to share one of our podcasts with someone recently
because my friend was writing an article
about outrageous fortune
and we had Timmy Davis on the show while you were away,
and I did a really good interview with him,
and so I wanted him to be able to hear it,
and I said to Claudia, can you get me the link?
Do you know how podcasts are over an hour?
Yeah, how do you not know that?
That's fucking outrageous,
because I don't listen to them.
I knew that, because I've known that for a long time, because- It it's so much if you do the math on how many times we talk in a show
Well I'm not doing that math but isn't it outrageous because I often sit here and I think oh yeah we just do this we talk for over that's over an hour of content a day that we're doing and the rest
And the rest we talk non-stop in the break
What about this? This isn't included is it?
This isn't in there?
No? Did you listen to any after parties from last week
that you weren't in?
No, I'm not up to that yet.
Oh.
You're starting from day one?
No, I'm starting from day one.
Clint's like, nah, they're pretty boring.
I'm gonna skip those.
Not enough Clint.
I was actually planning to skip them.
I felt a bit intrusive.
Like that was your guys thing,
I'll just leave you to it.
Nah. I want you to listen to it and then review it.
I'm not up to it yet. I didn't start from...
Wait. So have you only listened to after parties where it's just you?
No. Good question. No. No. No. No, because we did a week back together.
Did you listen to the entirety of the week?
I started midway through the week that you were off, where I had my daughters in.
And I listened to a couple of those.
And it wasn't just me, it was me and Claudia and Ella.
Yeah, thanks.
They're not real people.
But mostly me.
And then you came back for a week.
We had a week together.
And that's where I'm at currently.
If you must know.
No, I did want to know.
That was my question.
Thanks for answering. What? No, I did want to know that. That was my question. Thanks for answering.
What do you like about it?
I like the swear words in it.
I like that it's unscripted and unplanned
and off the cuff.
It feels very natural.
It has a different cadence to it
than our radio show podcast.
It's quite podcasty, our podcast.
I have listened to it a couple of times in the past.
And I, yeah, the thing I like about it is I feel like it feels very relaxed.
Yeah.
It's what, it's what we would love our radio show to sound like, but it just can't.
No.
Everybody likes the idea of a radio show being real raw and real, which I think
our radio show is raw and real,
but in a different way.
It needs some structure.
It needs some structure because people listen differently.
Yeah, like it's WW, but not WWE, raw and real.
Yeah, that.
Every Friday night.
Like we said, unscripted.
You should tell.
What I was gonna say is I feel like people,
if they listen to our show, it's different
for people who listen to the show podcast and also listen to this.
Cause I feel like people actually get to know us quite a lot more.
Oh yeah.
There's more in this.
You know, in this.
Yeah.
Where it's like, yeah, just kind of unfiltered.
Yeah.
Just good and bad.
Totally.
Related to a bit of everything.
I don't know if you look at these,
but do you look at the podcast numbers that come through?
No.
I looked at the last month's worth that came through.
Nah, way more people listening to this podcast
than I realised.
Really?
Yeah, like not as many as Fletch and Bourne,
but still pretty big. You know what's interesting? Oh, like not as many as Fletch and Bourne, but still pretty big.
You know what's interesting?
Oh, was Clint away when, no, you were here
when you were saying how the podcast group on Facebook
Oh, it's growing, hey.
has been getting a lot more follows.
So something's happening.
Something's popping off.
Something's going.
I would love to know, I might actually ask in that group,
cause in one day, like,
I've been loving that group. We had group, because in one day, we had
like 40 people in one day join the group.
How are they even finding it?
It doesn't even have an easy to find name, it's not even called the Bree and Clint podcast
group.
It's crazy.
I wondered if it was posted in a local grapevine somewhere and everyone was joining because
they couldn't access it because it was a private group, so everyone's like, I'll join the group
so I can see this place.
What's a local grapevine, Gemma?
The grapevine, isn't that what they can see this. What's a local grapevine, Glamour?
Isn't that what they're all called?
What's a grapevine?
The Facebook groups of your local community.
Ooh, I bet you wonder how I knew.
And it's the grapevine.
I reckon it, personally I reckon it was the new photo I uploaded for the, what's it called?
The display photo of the cover photo. Oh for the, what's it called?
The display photo of the-
Oh, your dog's-
The cover photo.
Yeah, it was just a way bit of photo
and I feel like that attracted a lot more people
to the group.
Like Meryl doing the side eye as she's doing her shit.
You know?
That's a great photo.
If you saw that, you would be intrigued.
Yeah, you'd be like, what is that?
Why has this got Brie and Clint's name on it?
Yeah, what is that? Who's dog is that? Why are they doing that? Why are they looking at me?
Also, yeah, what are our thoughts? This is from Sam in the Brian Clint podcast group on Facebook,
which is called the Brian Clint group therapy. Yes. If you want to Sam has asked anyone else thinking holla should be the next Friday
Holla by Spice Girls holla by the Spice Girls. She won't stop talking about it
You'll know from last week's after parties once you listen to it. Yeah, once you catch up on that, you'll hear it
I don't think that that should be it, but it is your choice this week
There's okay. These are the options that people have been throwing around Lorenzo has said what about
Bette Davis eyes for Friday Oakey. Oh fuck I love that song. Such a good song. That's a good karaoke
song I wouldn't be opposed to that. But do you know why he suggested that? No. Oh
because Jojo Siwa. She's done her rendition of it. God you guys live in a
different world to me, eh?
I wish I lived in your world when it came to her.
I know too much.
Yeah.
I'm happy where I am.
Does that, does it make it more or less,
Jojo Siwa doing it, does it make it more or less likely
that we will do it?
Well, it's just that it's topical.
Right.
Yeah.
Okay, yep.
Yep.
Yeah, no, what?
Are you gonna say not very topical because you didn't know about it? No, I was just hoping we could do Betty Davis eyes. Yeah. Okay, yep. Yep. Yeah, no. What?
Are you going to say not very topical because you didn't know about?
No.
I was just hoping we could do Bitty Davis eyes.
That's what you were thinking.
Yeah, have you got it?
Have you got a little bit there?
I'm trying to find it.
B-E-T-T-E, I'm pretty sure.
Oh, what a buzzy way to spell Bitty.
I'm pretty sure that's how it's spelled.
Yeah.
Does JoJo Siwa do a good job of it? No. Can Jojo Siwa not sing? No. Yeah right. She's
a dancer by trade.
Who did I see sing this song recently? Oh, didn't they sing it? It's better than Jojo
Siwa. It was on the most recent episode of Sex and the City.
Oh, I haven't watched that yet.
It's better than the Jojo Siwa reference. They do it on karaoke on and just like that
this week. The gardener, the landscaper does a fantastic rendition of this.
The hot gardener. Hot gardener, yeah.
Tosima. Yeah, nice.
Anyway, that's a good choice. I like it.
What are Bette Davis' eyes? Brown.
I don't know.
Bette Davis.
Is that the only option you said, here's the options?
No, Holla, the Spice Girls.
Betty Davis had...
Blue. Deep blue.
Blue eyes.
But in the black and white films they often appeared brown or hazel.
Yeah, no shit, it's black and fucking white!
Shit!
This sounds like no scrubs.
Sounds like every song from this part of the 90s.
I wanna make you a lover.
Oh, the banger.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ah.
Let me see your heart.
Imagine it together.
Let me see your heart.
If I ever.
Die?
Perish?
Perform in a charity boxing fight, this will be my walkout song.
Right, so just picture it, so go from the start.
It'll just be... the lights go low.
Everyone's like, what's going on?
Smoke filling the room.
Next minute break.
Burst out from behind the curtain.
In a road.
It's intimidating, yeah.
Scary.
I'm scared, I'm definitely scared.
I know.
What's this?
Could we do Toni Braxton for Friday?
I mean, I love Toni Braxton.
She's got a nice low voice, which would be good for me.
You know, people have been saying that the Keilani song, Faded.
Folded.
Folded sounds like these songs from the 90s.
She does have a low voice.
Well, that's what I share.
Or Hear Me Out. She does have a low voice. It sounds like Cher.
Or Hear Me Out.
Janet Jackson. Oh yeah, which one are you going to say?
What one do you think I'm going to say?
You are going to say...
Yeah, you try and pick it.
Together Again.
Together Again? And, boom, boom.
And she's in Africa.
This is the one.
Music video, she's in Africa and she's dancing with the elephants.
Again! Again!
This is such a banger from her.
Yeah, this would be fun.
Play one we all know.
Oh, who said that? Oh wait, I know that's too funny.
Show some goddamn respect, okay?
We can play music like this or Ellen. Yeah this would be fun. Play one we all know. Oh who said that? Oh wait I know that's too funny.
Show some goddamn respect okay.
We can play music like this while Ella's not here.
Yeah.
This is adults time.
Normally Ella would be in the corner like scoffing and rolling her eyes.
What?
And going guys did you know she's Michael's sister?
Alright well give us some more suggestions.
We need to decide on our song tomorrow so we can get it recorded.
Bree and Clint's group therapy.
It's a private Facebook group.
It will approve you straight away.
Yeah.
We won't even do background checks.
Hell no.
Nah.
I go in blind, I just accept everyone.
It's like Claudia on Tinder.
Yep.
Slight right, slight right, slight right.
If we didn't have to do a's like Claudia on Tinder. Yeah. Yep. Slight right, slight right, slight right. Yeah.
If we didn't have to do a background check, then neither do you.
Every smile I see, I know you are there.
Smiling back at me, dancing in moonlight.
Did you hear us harmonise then?
No, I didn't.
Shining down on me.
Either that or Savage Garden.
Oh, hell yeah. or Savage Garden Oh hell yeah
What Savage Garden song though?
Chicken Cherry Cola I think it's time for
See you guys later
Bye bitch
See ya
