Starting point is 00:00:00 For a few years, in the 1970s, the Mr Asia syndicate made millions. Heroin creates its own market. It acts like a form of play. Until jealousy, betrayal and murder brought it all crashing down. Then he just pulled out a gun, shot her in the back of the head, and then said to Wayne, you're going to help me bury her. This is Mr Asia, A Forgotten History. All episodes now available on iHeartRadio, Apple, Spotify

Starting point is 00:01:21 As you can probably tell, Clint's not here. He's away after the incident we're speaking more than yes jokes but yes he's away we shouldn't laugh i love the new sassy ella i feel like some of claudia has rubbed off on ella and she's turned like super saiyan ella like claudia's already super saiyan and now ella's like super super sassy saiyan i She's pulling her hairs up. And now Ella's, like, super, super sassy saiyan. I think, well, you guys give it to me. We all give it to each other. No, why not?
Starting point is 00:01:50 It's fun. But that's when I think you know you've got really good relationships with people when you can banter like that with them. That's what I tell my Nana whenever I'm mean to her. I'm mean to you because I love you. Same with my mum. Whenever I'm mean to her, I'm like, it's only because I love you. Because I feel comfortable around you.
Starting point is 00:02:07 You feel comfy. Put your feet up. Isn't that a nice thing? Claudia said you had a question for the podcast. Yeah, but this is way more fun than my question. No, but this is over. It's done. Okay, I've got like, I guess, an ethics question.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Oh, I love. And slash, I guess, it's a legal question. Okay. Cool. So, I run out of tea bags at home, right? Oh, absolutely. Still from work. You reckon?
Starting point is 00:02:27 Yes. Totally. I sometimes do. Because I saw the little container and I was like, I could just take like four of them. I've done that. They owe us. Yeah, they don't know. I've taken toilet paper.
Starting point is 00:02:36 But what's the limit? You've taken toilet paper. Yes. Isn't that like one ply here? Yeah. But I've taken it. Not great. What's the limit?
Starting point is 00:02:44 Five? Five? You can literally go into the room where they store all the boxes of Dilma. That's my brand too. I don't think there is a limit. Eureka? Just take a box. Should I do it and then see what happens?
Starting point is 00:02:54 Okay, no, I think that's the limit. I think if you can hold it in your hand and put it in your pocket, then that's the limit. What if I have tiny pockets? Oh, yeah, that sucks okay tomorrow come in with big pockets to bring whatever has the biggest come with come in with harem pants what you don't know what harem pants balloon pants did you guys ever own thailand pants is that what you call them that's racist no that's what everyone buys when they're in thailand and
Starting point is 00:03:21 india that's what i bought there too yeah yeah these pants harem pants the loosey-goosey ones ah yeah yep yep yep kind of yoga vibes yeah yeah comfy you've got a lot of tea bags actually i used to have an orange pear yeah yeah they were cool i used to have i i bought a pair in byron, my God. My girlfriend, Sophia, said to me, should we go to Blues Fest in Byron Bay next year? Oh, what's that? What kind of festival? It's a, hold on, I'll tell you the line up. And then she goes, but if we do go, we should take your mum. Oh, stop it.
Starting point is 00:04:01 You need to vlog that. You need a camera crew. We can't following you around. So the line-up for Byron Bay Blues Fest next year, Crowded House. Oh, my God. Tones and I. Rag and Bone Men. Oh, my God. Vance Joy.
Starting point is 00:04:15 Holy shit. Ocean Alley. Hey. Who else? Okay, that sounds pretty good. This is way bigger than I thought. Like, when you said blues, I was like, yeah, like Rhythm and Blues or something. But, like, jeez, these are, like, big people are like yeah it's quite a lineup hey cool name as well yeah
Starting point is 00:04:28 they're the biggest names that are on the list that's awesome what um state um what do you call this where's byron bay in new south wales which is what's the biggest city near it the biggest city near byron is it in sydney or is it its own thing? So you've got, here's the coast, right? So Queensland's here, Brisbane, Gold Coast. This is all on the coast. Brisbane, Gold Coast, and then Byron. Oh, wait, so we were close to it. Yes, on the Gold Coast we were close, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:58 You know how you say Melbourne, Sydney, they're like, what are they, cities? Is Byron Bay a city? No, Byron Bay's not. I wouldn't say Byron Bay is. So would you say I'm going to. The town, yeah, it's a town. So what's the city? What's the Byron Bay city?
Starting point is 00:05:13 What? There's a Byron Bay city? No, what's the, where's Byron Bay in city-wise? Byron Bay. It's its own thing. It's its own thing. So it's like Sydney, Byron Bay, Melbourne. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:23 Yeah, but Byron Bay is way smaller. Okay. But Perth is way bigger. Or is Perth a state? Okay. Your major cities. Your major cities in Australia. Are you ready?
Starting point is 00:05:35 Your major cities. There's only five. There's Brisbane. Yeah. Sydney. Brisbane. Melbourne. Sydney.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Melbourne. Adelaide. Perth. What about Tasmania? That's a state. That's a state, not a city. What's the city there? Hobart.
Starting point is 00:05:50 Oh, yeah. It's little. It's not as big. Like Byron Bay. I would include, and then like from your major cities, they're your five, and then you've got your ones just underneath that, like Hobart and Canberra. Okay okay so it's like there's auckland and christchurch and wellington which are our big cities yes and then you have smaller ones here we
Starting point is 00:06:12 go she's getting it huh like toron is toron so byron bay is like yeah kind of like toron got it and then yeah exactly i'd call them provincial towns. The little ones or the big ones? The smaller ones. Provincial. Like provincial is kind of like in between, I think. Okay. Oh, God.
Starting point is 00:06:36 I've really been trying to hide the fact my geography is not great. Should we tease, mate, the potential of what's happening tomorrow? Oh, I'm so excited. I actually thought it was happening today. Oh, no. And then you're like, oh, just Brie? No, it's fine. I'm very excited.
Starting point is 00:06:53 Clint is away again tomorrow and my mum flies in tonight. I mean, the timing couldn't be better. And we all put our heads together and thought, is this meant to be? Brie messaged us this morning. It was the first thing I saw when I woke up and I did a little dance in my bed. We've come up with the idea where Mama Di, she doesn't know this yet. Yeah, don't tell her. Don't tell her.
Starting point is 00:07:16 Don't message her. Not that she has social media and you can, but it might be a Mama Di co-host tomorrow. Oh my God, I really hope so. Can you imagine? Which means Mama Di Friday-host tomorrow. Oh, my God. I really hope so. Can you imagine? Which means Mama Di Fridayoke, like her own. Stop. Yes.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Like she's out, sent out like a wild beast into the Fridayoke landscape. It's going to pop off. Do you think you'd do like, you know how you do articles or studies? Would you do that sort of content still? I reckon all just personal just yarns. Don't plan it. Just turn the mic on. I purposefully saved this story
Starting point is 00:07:52 about this python biting this guy's ball sack so we could talk about it tomorrow with Mama Di. I feel like the aim of the show will be for us to get as many like scoffs out of her as we can. Can you believe it?
Starting point is 00:08:06 The complimentation I'll get. And just do mum and dad scoffs throughout the show. That's hilarious. I really hope she's up for it. Me too. Can we send her out on a prank mission or something as well in the office? Yeah, 100%. 100%.
Starting point is 00:08:21 We're already stitching her up by not telling her. I feel like we lure let's lure her here with false pretenses Claudia really wants to see you again mama she already said that to me I said what are the things you want to do while you're here she goes I've got a few TV
