Starting point is 00:00:00 The ZM Podcast Network. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Welcome to the after party. Welcome to the after party everybody with Bree and Clint and Claudia and no Ella today because she's got a migraine. So welcome back to one-time fill-in producer extraordinaire, the Donkinator, Sam Donkin. Yay!
Starting point is 00:00:20 Sam Donkin. One-time fill-in producer. That was like one time that lasted two months. I think it was three months. That was a long show. But you only did that one time. Yeah, yeah. Now you're two time fill-in.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Two time fill-in, I know. Anyway, he's back. I am. He's back. He surprised us. Back on the corporate ladder. Yeah, right? He's back in the game.
Starting point is 00:00:42 Ah, look who came crawling back. Back on the corporate ladder. Ah, knew we'd see you again. Yeah, right? He's back in the game. Ah, look who came crawling back. Back on the corporate ladder. Ah, knew we'd see you again. Yeah. They always come crawling back. Sam produces a lot of podcasts. Now you're in the podcast world, aren't you? I am.
Starting point is 00:00:54 I still dabble in live stuff, you know. Yeah. That was, I mean, I blame you guys for getting bit by the bug for that. For live radio? For live radio. Oh, you do get the bug, don't you? You do. Nothing like live radio. No, no.
Starting point is 00:01:08 But Talkback's a different game. It's like, oh, I really want to hang up on you right now. You're doing some Talkback stuff as well. Talkback, yeah. Talkback's very different. Can you put me through to Mike? Yeah. I have an opinion that I would like everyone in the country to hear. The number of people that text me on a
Starting point is 00:01:24 Sunday night saying, Mike, read this in the morning. He doesn't come in until, I don't know what time. Like Mike Hosking. Mike Hosking. He's like, don't text me on a Sunday night asking to talk to Mike. Also, he doesn't do talk back. He does talk.
Starting point is 00:01:38 He does talk. There's no back. You don't get a say. Anyway, it's good to have you here. Thank you for coming back. Thank you. Thank you so much for filling in. We really appreciate it.
Starting point is 00:01:47 It's been so hard out here, honestly. Sitting with Claudia. Yeah, well, we do apologise for that. Are we doing an international birthday banger today, Claudia? Oh, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. It's my birthday. It's my birthday.
Starting point is 00:01:58 Three and Clint's birthday banger. The podcast. Yeah. So while we get that sorted, we played Nickelback on the live show today, and we might have cost ourselves some listeners, not because they didn't like Nickelback, but because after we played Nickelback, they started texting us saying, hey, we're going to listen to Spotify now so we can hear more Nickelback.
Starting point is 00:02:19 That's fair enough. If they liked that, they're going to love what's coming up. Really? Okay, no spoilers. Let's do an international birthday banger. Your birthday banger, if you have told us what it is, on the top pinned post on our Brian Clint Podcast family page on Facebook. We're going to kick it off with Paul Hitchenson from Gloucester.
Starting point is 00:02:38 Paul Hutchinson. Hutchinson. Sorry. Sorry, Paul. It's been a long week. From Gloucester. Gloucester. Gloucester. Glou week. From Gloucester. Gloucester? Gloucester.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Gloucester. Gloucester, there. He's from England. He was born on the 10th of November, 1987. Paul, I've butchered yours, but you were 16 in 2003, and here's your birthday banger. Banger. Sean Paul must look back at this,
Starting point is 00:03:08 and not to discredit Sean Paul whatsoever, but to go, damn, I did a 50-50 collab with Beyonce. He was big. He was, but she wasn't anywhere near as big as she is now. Oh, she is enormous now. Yeah. Okay, let's do one for Lauren Waldron from Wodonga. Lauren Waldron from Wodonga in Victoria.
Starting point is 00:03:32 I've been there before, Lauren. It's a lovely little country town, Wodonga. In Australia. In Australia. You were born on the 5th of June, 1986, and you were 16 in 2002. And, Loz, this is your birthday banger. Chad Kroger from Nickelback. Is this just solo Chad Kroger?
Starting point is 00:03:56 Yeah, he did it for the Spider-Man soundtrack. Oh, yes. The second Tobey Maguire Spider-Man soundtrack was the first one. You can just picture him climbing up walls for this. Yeah. With his curly hair hanging out the top of the Spider-Man outfit. Is this the one where he did that real grumpy look down the street? Wait, who had curly hair?
Starting point is 00:04:15 Chad Kroger. That was the third one. Oh. Does he dress up as Spider-Man? No, Donks was saying you can imagine Chad Kroger climbing up the side of the building as Spider-Man. I know. I was saying Tobey Maguire. That's what I thought. You can imagine To Kroger climbing up the side of the building as Spider-Man. No, I was saying Tobey Maguire. That's what I thought.
Starting point is 00:04:26 You can imagine Tobey Maguire climbing up walls to this side. Now I'm just imagining Chad Kroger in tights. Chad Kroger is better. Yeah, I was picturing Tobey Maguire and I was like, Tobey Maguire doesn't have curly hair, does he? That makes a lot more sense. Yep, that's fine. Let's move on to John Simpson from Northampton in the United Kingdom.
Starting point is 00:04:42 G'day, John Simpson. You were born on the 30th of October 1970, which means you were 16 in 1986. And on that day, this was number one. I'm your Venus. I'm your fire. I'm your fire. Venus from Bananarama
Starting point is 00:05:00 or from the Gillette Shaver commercial. Yep. That's what I hear when I hear this song. Oh, Neil Venus. The lady's razor with the bit of soap around the outside of it. She's got it. I got us on a mountain top. Easy decision.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Nickelback? Oh, yeah, absolutely. I mean, Chad Kroger solo. What was the first one? Spider Kroger, Baby Boy. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Chad Kroger.. What was the first one? Spider Kroger, Baby Boy. Oh, yeah. Yeah, Chad Kroger. Don't be too into it.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Is that what it starts with? Yeah. One more time? It starts with the drum roll. Yeah, and then it goes into some very literal Spider-Man type lyrics. The song knew it was going to win. Yeah, listen. Weird that Chad Kroger tried to go solo.
Starting point is 00:05:51 I can just picture the credits rolling at the end of the Spider-Man movie. Just a drum roll to surprise release the credits. Like, surprise, you made it to the end. Have a great weekend, everybody. We'll catch you next week on The Brian Clint Show. Bye, guys. I know that a hero can save us.
